- 1:09Speaker 2: iconic right.
- 1:10Speaker 5: Yes. I love the way they were filmed back then.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It's just wild. It's like you're a fly on the
- 1:14Speaker 1: while watching home videos. For those of you who are
- 1:17Speaker 1: just listening, I know the video of this episode is
- 1:20Speaker 1: going to drop on Friday, but you will hear baby
- 1:23Speaker 1: Sosa on the mic. She's she's ready to move man.
- 1:27Speaker 1: She's sick of like being a baby.
- 1:30Speaker 2: She wants to get those Michelin legs moving.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Oh she just split up, yummy. Well, she didn't like
- 1:37Speaker 3: me talking about Michelin.
- 1:40Speaker 1: She also has like a two pay moment happening because
- 1:43Speaker 1: she moves her head back and forth very quickly. She's
- 1:46Speaker 1: not like she's talking about Yes, she's so darling. I
- 1:50Speaker 1: will hand her off when we start the Vicki h
- 1:54Speaker 1: the Vicki Interview. Move on out of here, because Vicky
- 1:57Speaker 1: is all about her business. She has no time you
- 2:00Speaker 1: just sit around and baby or baby. She's got insurance
- 2:03Speaker 1: to sell. I'm excited for you guys to hear this
- 2:06Speaker 1: interview because the og of the OC is alive.
- 2:09Speaker 3: And well yep, and she's given notes.
- 2:12Speaker 2: She's giving notes about insurance and how you pay taxes
- 2:16Speaker 2: and taxes. Thank you Easton, get your pencils out.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But also like spreading some other knowledge about other housewives,
- 2:23Speaker 1: which T T T. I've been thirsty for some tea
- 2:28Speaker 1: because you know, I've been out of the mix. I'm
- 2:30Speaker 1: in this like mom Era, which is hell of fun.
- 2:33Speaker 2: But it's also fun to sip some tea. I love you,
- 2:36Speaker 2: I love a good Cama Mill.
- 2:38Speaker 1: So we do have Vicky on the pod, and then
- 2:41Speaker 1: next week on our bonus episode, we're going to talk
- 2:43Speaker 1: about iconic moments from the Real Housewives of Orange County.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I can't freakin' wait, so I won't make you guys
- 2:51Speaker 1: wait any longer. You guys, Here is my interview with
- 2:55Speaker 1: the og of the OC, Vicky gun wulsin Hi Gorge High.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Honey, I used to be the Queen of Bravo, but
- 3:03Speaker 4: my crown got off and got a little tilted.
- 3:06Speaker 1: So I think you're still the Queen of Bravo. And
- 3:09Speaker 1: you got that award at Bravo Con.
- 3:10Speaker 4: That was cool. That was really very emotional for me
- 3:14Speaker 4: because I was not expecting it to be so emotional.
- 3:17Speaker 4: You know. I did my speech and everything like two
- 3:19Speaker 4: minutes before I went up and and I was so
- 3:21Speaker 4: grateful and thankful, but it was. It was emotional because
- 3:24Speaker 4: I was like, is this my goodbye tour or is
- 3:26Speaker 4: this starting another adventure? I didn't. I didn't really know.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I feel like I watched something on Hulu and it
- 3:33Speaker 1: was Megan King, who was on Real Housewives of OC,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and she said that reality TV is kind of like
- 3:41Speaker 1: a drug, and that was I mean, I've never done drugs. However,
- 3:45Speaker 1: if you if you compared it to like a buzz
- 3:47Speaker 1: with alcohol, totally get it.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Is that how you feel?
- 3:51Speaker 4: Yeah? So my manager at the time, years ago out
- 3:54Speaker 4: in New York said, fame is like a drug and
- 3:57Speaker 4: you want more of it even though you know it's
- 4:00Speaker 4: bad for you. So that's how I correlated. I mean,
- 4:03Speaker 4: you and I have gone through hell. I'm back doing
- 4:05Speaker 4: reality TV, but I correlate that because I loved it.
- 4:10Speaker 4: I loved doing it until I didn't until then it
- 4:13Speaker 4: was become toxic, and then you go back to loving
- 4:15Speaker 4: it again and it was as yo yo, I was
- 4:18Speaker 4: only good as the last episode and then now, how
- 4:21Speaker 4: did it going to turn out?
- 4:22Speaker 2: I relate to that a lot.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I feel like you said, you're only as good as
- 4:28Speaker 1: your last moment on TV. Do you feel like your
- 4:30Speaker 1: last moment on TV? Do you feel like you went
- 4:32Speaker 1: out with a bang? Or do you wish that you
- 4:34Speaker 1: could have changed things?
- 4:37Speaker 4: I never really knew that my last time filming was
- 4:40Speaker 4: going to be my last time. I think this is
- 4:41Speaker 4: my first season that I haven't gotten the phone call
- 4:44Speaker 4: saying come back as a friend or come back as
- 4:46Speaker 4: a part timer. So I guess that's my new normal.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Now I'm not friends with Tammer anymore, which is fine,
- 4:54Speaker 4: and I'm friends with everybody else, so that's good.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Do you feel like you guys can repair?
- 4:58Speaker 1: No?
- 5:00Speaker 4: You know what. I relate to relationships as birds of
- 5:04Speaker 4: a feather flat together. So if you are a kind
- 5:06Speaker 4: person and a loving person and want the best for
- 5:09Speaker 4: other people, you can hang with them even though there's
- 5:12Speaker 4: a fight. But when you see situations that I've seen
- 5:17Speaker 4: for the last two years of how she treats people,
- 5:19Speaker 4: it wasn't me, it was other people. I was only
- 5:22Speaker 4: going to be next, so you know, it's a target
- 5:26Speaker 4: that she goes after, and that's her quote unquote reality
- 5:29Speaker 4: of how she's going to be a villain on these shows.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I don't want to be around it. It's toxic, it's angry,
- 5:37Speaker 4: it's swearing, it's calling people to see where. It's gross
- 5:41Speaker 4: to me and I have a respectful business of thirty
- 5:44Speaker 4: five years. I mean, some of my clients have come
- 5:46Speaker 4: in here and said, are you friends with that camera?
- 5:48Speaker 4: And now I can say no, because before I was
- 5:51Speaker 4: defending her. Oh it's just TV. But people can see
- 5:54Speaker 4: through that, like is that her heart? And is that
- 5:56Speaker 4: who she really is? And she doesn't have to worry
- 5:59Speaker 4: about it. She's getting paid a lot of money to
- 6:01Speaker 4: do with that. I have a business that I have
- 6:03Speaker 4: to go to every single day, regardless of my filming
- 6:06Speaker 4: reality TV show. And I don't want to ever say.
- 6:09Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, she's my best friend. We hang out together,
- 6:11Speaker 4: and yeah she calls people to see where and yeah
- 6:13Speaker 4: she's throwing nap ins and people's faces, And I don't
- 6:16Speaker 4: want to I don't want to be around. My daughter
- 6:18Speaker 4: was like, Mom, what you're doing. You're embarrassing yourself, you know.
- 6:21Speaker 4: And I'm like, I didn't do it. I was a
- 6:22Speaker 4: victim of it, or I was in on it, or
- 6:25Speaker 4: it's just too it's too much angry, And I Lala,
- 6:28Speaker 4: we have a big life, like you and I and
- 6:31Speaker 4: your brother, anybody that's been on a show for as
- 6:35Speaker 4: long as I have, you have you really you take
- 6:39Speaker 4: that the good and the bad. But she's the only
- 6:41Speaker 4: person that I that I don't want to film with,
- 6:44Speaker 4: Like I've filmed with others and we've gotten a fight
- 6:48Speaker 4: and we recover, but she just doesn't. And then all
- 6:52Speaker 4: of a sudden, she's back. At the next episode, she's like, I'm.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Not good, it's not well.
- 6:59Speaker 4: But so that's the decision I made. She never got
- 7:04Speaker 4: mad at me, we never got in a fight, but
- 7:05Speaker 4: the way she treated Shannon last year after her DUI
- 7:09Speaker 4: was disgusting and Shan's my friend and I just had
- 7:13Speaker 4: to make a stance for.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Who I want to hang with, right And I think Tamra,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I mean, I think many people enjoy watching her because,
- 7:21Speaker 1: you know, the drill. Even though someone people hate watch,
- 7:25Speaker 1: that's what they do. They they love to see, they
- 7:28Speaker 1: love to see chaos. It takes them out of their
- 7:32Speaker 1: norm and their reality, and it gives them something to
- 7:34Speaker 1: go back and forth about online. And I just wonder,
- 7:38Speaker 1: like when you first signed on to this show, it
- 7:42Speaker 1: was totally different. It was just I mean, and you
- 7:45Speaker 1: were one of the only house well you were the
- 7:47Speaker 1: first housewife ever and you actually went.
- 7:50Speaker 2: To a job every single day.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Ye what was it like having that and then going Okay,
- 7:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna open my life to cameras.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Were you scared?
- 7:58Speaker 4: Of course? And we only say four weeks and it
- 8:01Speaker 4: was with a handicamp. So this is nineteen years ago
- 8:03Speaker 4: when you weren't even born yet. So you gotta think
- 8:08Speaker 4: like I was forty two and I'm going to be
- 8:12Speaker 4: fourty three at the time, I'm sixty two. Now it sucks.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Do you not want to be sixty I'm just I
- 8:19Speaker 4: do not want to be sixty two, But it's happening,
- 8:23Speaker 4: like hello, are you sure that driver's license number is
- 8:25Speaker 4: the same with my president? It sucks because it goes
- 8:28Speaker 4: lick at his flit so fast. But two decades I
- 8:31Speaker 4: was on, and then season three she came on and
- 8:33Speaker 4: we became buzzy wudsy until all of a sudden, I
- 8:37Speaker 4: saw her like throw the wine in Ginikio's face, who
- 8:40Speaker 4: was a friend of mine.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Now what if you say that this is a cyst
- 8:44Speaker 2: and deceased?
- 8:45Speaker 4: Like she don't want to speak. So I was like,
- 8:47Speaker 4: what is on here? So I took my producers sid
- 8:50Speaker 4: I said, what's going on? He was just go with it,
- 8:51Speaker 4: like do your normal reaction, like was she set up
- 8:54Speaker 4: to do this? Or what is going on? This is
- 8:55Speaker 4: not my show? And it just spiraled. I think when
- 8:59Speaker 4: Teresa flipped the and all the other housewives came on
- 9:01Speaker 4: and I created a show about showing our lifestyle being
- 9:05Speaker 4: a mother, cooking dinner at night, raising my kids, going
- 9:09Speaker 4: through a marriage that was going to be and eventually
- 9:11Speaker 4: divorced and all the reality, and then me working in
- 9:15Speaker 4: juggling and me in the limo, you know, typing away
- 9:18Speaker 4: selling insurance online because I had to keep the lights
- 9:21Speaker 4: on and work. There was no podcast in social media
- 9:25Speaker 4: at the time. So I saw the evolution of this
- 9:30Speaker 4: the whole franchise of all the Housewives shows. It was
- 9:33Speaker 4: like they had to step it up, one more step
- 9:35Speaker 4: up another, Like who's getting the most writing is the
- 9:38Speaker 4: ones that are fighting, And I'm like, that's not me.
- 9:41Speaker 4: I don't fight with people. If you want to fight
- 9:43Speaker 4: with me, I'm probably going to exit out. I don't.
- 9:46Speaker 4: I'm not shy of fighting, but I don't go into
- 9:49Speaker 4: an episode going, Okay, I'm going to call her out
- 9:51Speaker 4: on this. I don't give a shit who she's dating.
- 9:53Speaker 4: I don't give a shit who everybody's doing. But she
- 9:56Speaker 4: wants to like dig into people's personal lives and maybe
- 9:59Speaker 4: they don't want that, Auntie, So I'm sure she could
- 10:02Speaker 4: find shit on me all day on or you or
- 10:04Speaker 4: you or anybody. I don't That's not what I wanted
- 10:08Speaker 4: this show to be.
- 10:09Speaker 1: About, right because I so I'm I do this thing
- 10:13Speaker 1: where I go back and I east and knows, I
- 10:15Speaker 1: go back and watch old school episodes of the franchise
- 10:18Speaker 1: and right now I'm on OC And that was before
- 10:22Speaker 1: Gretchen was even announced. So I just happened to do this,
- 10:25Speaker 1: and now you know, everyone's very excited going back watching
- 10:28Speaker 1: old episodes, and I just I loved the drama was
- 10:31Speaker 1: so different. It was about like your son getting a tattoo,
- 10:35Speaker 1: not your son, right, just right, you know the storylines and.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Then you know, you guys exactly. It was so lighthearted.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Well it was real life and not forced like less produced.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Yes, in my opinion, because you've been on my TV
- 10:50Speaker 3: for the past, yeah, just because that's all this one
- 10:54Speaker 3: watches is just housewives, So she's you've been on the TV.
- 10:57Speaker 3: But like seeing the production then and now, it seems
- 11:01Speaker 3: like it was so free flowing and just happy and
- 11:04Speaker 3: it was about your life and now it's the way
- 11:06Speaker 3: it looks and even with you the way when I've
- 11:08Speaker 3: been on there, Like, so this is.
- 11:10Speaker 2: What we're gonna kind of steer towards.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Talking, right, they give you a little bit of direction,
- 11:15Speaker 1: you know, it's like we're talking about your sobriety and
- 11:19Speaker 1: and I get that, and I love a produced show,
- 11:21Speaker 1: but there was something very special about watching you go
- 11:25Speaker 1: into the office and do your interviews day of on site.
- 11:31Speaker 4: I know, I know, And I didn't have hair and
- 11:33Speaker 4: makeup at the time look like it. But I didn't
- 11:38Speaker 4: have Oh, Easton, You're so cute, and I didn't have,
- 11:42Speaker 4: you know, a wardrobe person. It was like, you want
- 11:44Speaker 4: to come and fill me. And they'd say, like, what
- 11:46Speaker 4: are you doing this week? I'm like, I'm working, Like
- 11:49Speaker 4: what do you mean what am I doing? I'm working
- 11:51Speaker 4: and I'm taking brand to the prom or I'm picking
- 11:53Speaker 4: up Michael from school. Like, no, I'm working. So that's
- 11:57Speaker 4: what I thought this was going to be about. Now
- 11:59Speaker 4: when Kathleen French, I don't know if you know, Kathleen
- 12:01Speaker 4: French used to sit as down and say what she
- 12:03Speaker 4: got going on for the next year, I'm like, I'm
- 12:05Speaker 4: just gonna be living life. I'm going to be going
- 12:08Speaker 4: to the river, I'm going to go to work, and
- 12:09Speaker 4: then I'm gonna film a reality show. And I have
- 12:11Speaker 4: no idea what my reality is. I had no idea
- 12:13Speaker 4: my mom was gonna die while I was filming on
- 12:16Speaker 4: set at Shannon's house and They held that back for
- 12:20Speaker 4: an hour and a half when my daughter kept trying
- 12:21Speaker 4: to call me. Nana died. Nana died. My mom was
- 12:23Speaker 4: perfectly healthy, and you know, they shocked me with that shit.
- 12:26Speaker 4: So how can I ever say to Kathleen French, Well,
- 12:29Speaker 4: this season, I'm going to get a divorce and my
- 12:31Speaker 4: Mom's gonna die while I'm filming.
- 12:33Speaker 2: No, can I tell you? Vicky?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Still, to this day, that scene of you getting that
- 12:39Speaker 1: call is the most gut wrenching thing that I have
- 12:43Speaker 1: ever watched in my life.
- 12:45Speaker 4: It was and I still like my mom. We just
- 12:48Speaker 4: celebrated ten years yesterday. My mom was an incredible mother.
- 12:51Speaker 4: She was never sick. She got her hair downe that morning,
- 12:54Speaker 4: gets her nails done, she bowled you play bridge. She's
- 12:56Speaker 4: very active, She's like perfectly healthy. She never took medicine.
- 13:00Speaker 4: And I talked to her. I'm like, I'm going to Shannon,
- 13:02Speaker 4: We're gonna play bunko. She goes, are you still hanging
- 13:04Speaker 4: around those girls? They're so nasty to you? And I'm like,
- 13:07Speaker 4: everything's fine, We're gonna be protective. Mama a home, and
- 13:12Speaker 4: then I got the call. She died. She lived on
- 13:13Speaker 4: her bed and died. We have no idea why or how.
- 13:16Speaker 4: So those things happened when you're filming a reality show.
- 13:20Speaker 4: And I never knew obviously she was gonna die, but
- 13:24Speaker 4: we're all gonna die, but it was those are the
- 13:27Speaker 4: things that are real. And I don't I don't understand
- 13:31Speaker 4: now why the show has to got It's gotten so dirty,
- 13:33Speaker 4: it's so mean, and I don't know. Now they're going
- 13:36Speaker 4: to sit with the girls this season is just starting
- 13:38Speaker 4: and saying what is going to be filming about this year. Well,
- 13:41Speaker 4: I'm gonna shann't get a dui. She had no idea,
- 13:44Speaker 4: you know, So it's just got.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Life happens.
- 13:48Speaker 4: It got really weird.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it does get weird, and then you're living in
- 13:51Speaker 1: this reality and you kind of work through things, and
- 13:55Speaker 1: then it's for everyone to then go and judge and
- 13:58Speaker 1: see their interpretation on and edited cut. And I can
- 14:01Speaker 1: understand where there may be a part of you that's
- 14:05Speaker 1: like I'm I'm okay that I'm not in the mix
- 14:09Speaker 1: like that anymore, because it's not like you need the paycheck,
- 14:11Speaker 1: like you got a real you got a real life career.
- 14:14Speaker 4: I do need the paycheck, but you know the numbers
- 14:16Speaker 4: that I was getting was very large. But I mean,
- 14:20Speaker 4: everybody more.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Money, the better, right, So it's of course, God.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I didn't quit my real job because a lot of
- 14:27Speaker 4: times they would say, you can't do both. I'm like,
- 14:29Speaker 4: you're filming my reality. I'm the world, the one that
- 14:32Speaker 4: works in saves and doesn't excel spreadsheet every time I
- 14:35Speaker 4: get paid, so I pay state in federal that day
- 14:37Speaker 4: and the other girls are like, oh my god, I
- 14:39Speaker 4: owe so much money. I'm like, what'd you do when
- 14:40Speaker 4: you were getting it? Didn't you pay that day for
- 14:44Speaker 4: an income? And so I would try to teach them
- 14:46Speaker 4: a little class about paying the taxes you get the
- 14:49Speaker 4: day you get paid, and it's not your money half if.
- 14:53Speaker 2: It's cool exactly, you know.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I the first thing when I started making, you know,
- 14:58Speaker 1: my little pennies and collecting them as I brought on
- 15:01Speaker 1: a business manager, and that that was always so strange
- 15:03Speaker 1: to me because he's like, this is the amount, but
- 15:05Speaker 1: remember we're taking this much away and come away with
- 15:08Speaker 1: my taxes half away.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Why insurance? What drew you to insurance?
- 15:19Speaker 4: While I was twenty eight at the time and I
- 15:22Speaker 4: was getting divorced with my first husband, I have Michael
- 15:24Speaker 4: and Brannon with my first husband, and my girlfriend sold
- 15:27Speaker 4: me a life insurance policy and Mike, my first husband.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:31Speaker 4: I was like, how much did you make? She's like
- 15:32Speaker 4: six hundred dollars. I'm like, you signed a couple of papers,
- 15:35Speaker 4: and I signed a couple of papers and you made
- 15:37Speaker 4: six hundred dollars. And I got to work at my
- 15:39Speaker 4: dad's construction company. I was doing his accounts, payable and receivable.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Were you where was this Illinois state? Illinois?
- 15:46Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, so you know, like bearing to Illinois. So
- 15:50Speaker 4: when I asked Laura, like, what do you have to
- 15:53Speaker 4: do to do this? Like I can sign papers all
- 15:55Speaker 4: day long, I'll work during the day from my dad
- 15:57Speaker 4: and then I'll sell insurance at night. And she's like, well,
- 16:00Speaker 4: I can go get licensed. So you take a class
- 16:02Speaker 4: online or you go to a school and you take
- 16:05Speaker 4: a test and you pass the test, which I did.
- 16:07Speaker 4: And then her company that she was working for at
- 16:10Speaker 4: the time was Western Southern Life Insurance in Elmhurst, Illinois,
- 16:13Speaker 4: and it was a debit business and they had all
- 16:16Speaker 4: men and they sat at these desks and you would
- 16:19Speaker 4: go out in the field and then come back with
- 16:20Speaker 4: your applications and you'd go to the whiteboard and you'd
- 16:22Speaker 4: write how many you wrote for the week. I'm like,
- 16:24Speaker 4: I'm going to stand bag them. I'm not going to
- 16:26Speaker 4: tell everybody how much I sold for the week. And
- 16:29Speaker 4: I had the territory of Cabrini Green. And if you
- 16:31Speaker 4: know Chicago, you don't want a territory of Cabrien Green. Okay,
- 16:36Speaker 4: it's very dark and a white woman in a you know,
- 16:42Speaker 4: a nicer car. I was always afraid I was going
- 16:45Speaker 4: to come off, the wheels were going to be off,
- 16:46Speaker 4: or I was going to be monger killed. So but
- 16:49Speaker 4: back then, we had pagers. We didn't even have cell phones.
- 16:51Speaker 4: This is how old I was young I was, and
- 16:53Speaker 4: how old time and how fast time goes. So anyway,
- 16:57Speaker 4: fast forward. I was really starting to get the hang
- 17:00Speaker 4: at this and I was in competition with all these
- 17:01Speaker 4: men who were fine making thirty thousand a year, and
- 17:05Speaker 4: I had a babysitter paid for in my new condo
- 17:07Speaker 4: after I divorced my husband. I didn't get child sports.
- 17:10Speaker 4: I was like, oh my god, God, sell more than
- 17:12Speaker 4: these guys, and how are they supporting their families? Well,
- 17:15Speaker 4: their glass stealing was low. They were good at thirty
- 17:18Speaker 4: thousand for the rest of their life. And I'm like, eh,
- 17:20Speaker 4: that I'm going to make fifty thousand, and I'm going
- 17:23Speaker 4: to go out and buy a brand new car, and
- 17:25Speaker 4: I'm going to show my boss, Mark Medicare that I
- 17:27Speaker 4: can do this. He's like, I pulled up in this car.
- 17:29Speaker 4: He said, what are you doing? You can't afford this.
- 17:31Speaker 4: I said, watch me. You dressed for success always regardless. Okay,
- 17:35Speaker 4: So I dressed for success by the car I was driving,
- 17:39Speaker 4: by the driveways I pulled up in. I was selling insurance.
- 17:41Speaker 4: There was no online selling. It was press hard, three copies,
- 17:45Speaker 4: and all of a sudden, I was like, this, this
- 17:48Speaker 4: is my career because I could be for my kids.
- 17:50Speaker 4: I quit my dad's construction accountspailable and receivable. I was
- 17:54Speaker 4: doing their payroll and stuff. And I was twenty eight.
- 17:57Speaker 4: You guys have no clue how it's a that is
- 18:00Speaker 4: a baby a baby? And I had two kids, Yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 4: they were five and six at the time, and I
- 18:07Speaker 4: was like, no child support. My ex at the time
- 18:10Speaker 4: was working for my dad and he quit, so he's
- 18:12Speaker 4: never worked since. And so I went into insurance by
- 18:16Speaker 4: default because it was a way for me to support
- 18:18Speaker 4: my kids without I don't have a four year degree.
- 18:21Speaker 4: I've got a three year degree. I went into finance
- 18:24Speaker 4: and then I got my license, so once I could
- 18:26Speaker 4: do that, I went into this full speed. I got
- 18:29Speaker 4: all my continued educations, I went in all the tutorials,
- 18:32Speaker 4: I went into YouTube that would so everything I did
- 18:34Speaker 4: was learn, learn, learn, and learn, And thirty four years later,
- 18:38Speaker 4: i'm it's not that I love it, it's an opportunity
- 18:43Speaker 4: for me to live the life I want, which is
- 18:45Speaker 4: very flexible. I have two houses in Porta Viata paid
- 18:48Speaker 4: for cash, amazing my house in Porta da Kasas. So
- 18:54Speaker 4: I'm responsible by the way. Both of you save more
- 18:58Speaker 4: than you everythink you're going to ever have to say.
- 19:00Speaker 4: And I would recommend don't pay quarterlies. Pay the day
- 19:03Speaker 4: you get paid. Okay, I don't recommend quarterlies because now
- 19:07Speaker 4: you're getting you know, paid, and then you got to
- 19:09Speaker 4: pay this big chunk and it's been sitting in the
- 19:11Speaker 4: savings making nothing. It doesn't matter. Get it off the books.
- 19:13Speaker 4: So get it off the books. Now you know what,
- 19:15Speaker 4: you have a net.
- 19:16Speaker 2: For the month or I do love that.
- 19:19Speaker 4: So don't. I don't push the irs in the state
- 19:22Speaker 4: because the IRS is if you're making you know over
- 19:25Speaker 4: three hundred and nine thousands, I'll get my turn out.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yes, educate as VICKI well, let me tell you. The
- 19:32Speaker 2: schools don't teach. They should be teaching.
- 19:35Speaker 4: This you as your tat Stomary guide. We have the
- 19:39Speaker 4: new one that just came out for twenty twenty five.
- 19:42Speaker 4: If you are single making more than from five over
- 19:47Speaker 4: one five hundred one thousand to seven hundred and fifty
- 19:49Speaker 4: one thousand, you're paying thirty five percent federal past our
- 19:52Speaker 4: state ten to twelve, So forty five percent of the
- 19:56Speaker 4: money goes away. It's not your money. You get ten
- 19:59Speaker 4: thousand dollars, forty five percent goes away four thousand, five
- 20:02Speaker 4: hundred that's your net. So it's fortunate enough to make
- 20:05Speaker 4: over seven hundred and fifty one thousand. Now you're paying
- 20:08Speaker 4: thirty seven so thirty seven percent of your portfolio or
- 20:11Speaker 4: your money goes away. I have never paid interest or
- 20:16Speaker 4: penalties to the IRS. Why because my dad told me
- 20:19Speaker 4: not to. So he's been dead for twenty years. I
- 20:21Speaker 4: never went to disappoint him, so I just paid up.
- 20:25Speaker 2: I love this.
- 20:26Speaker 4: I go on the FTV, the Federal Techs Board, and
- 20:29Speaker 4: I go into the IRS, and I just suck it
- 20:31Speaker 4: out of my account?
- 20:32Speaker 1: Did we just all have mad knowledge dropped on us
- 20:35Speaker 1: school that I know, like you should be teaching a
- 20:38Speaker 1: course because these are the things that they need to
- 20:40Speaker 1: teach in school.
- 20:41Speaker 4: I tried to put my housewives girls, but they don't
- 20:44Speaker 4: listen to me.
- 20:45Speaker 1: You know what, though, I let that's very true. They
- 20:47Speaker 1: did not listen to you. They shall have.
- 20:49Speaker 4: But so then I use my next season's paycheck to
- 20:53Speaker 4: pay these year's taxes and go, what the hell? What
- 20:57Speaker 4: if you don't get back?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Oh, I'm gonna have a heart.
- 21:01Speaker 4: No, it's crazy shit.
- 21:02Speaker 2: No, but they got.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Now they're paying fifty five percent or sixty percent on
- 21:08Speaker 4: the money that they made.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I mean, did Michael ever stick with being an insurance
- 21:14Speaker 1: what do you call it?
- 21:14Speaker 2: An insurer broker?
- 21:16Speaker 4: He's eighteen brokers? Yeah, he's my life insurance specials eighteen years.
- 21:21Speaker 4: He's thirty nine. I know, I'm mold. And he graduated
- 21:25Speaker 4: eighteen from high school, twenty one to twenty two from college,
- 21:30Speaker 4: and then he went out to try to find a
- 21:32Speaker 4: job and hime back and just like, can we talk him,
- 21:34Speaker 4: like what happened to get you get a ticket?
- 21:36Speaker 1: Like?
- 21:36Speaker 4: What happened he goes. I don't want to do the
- 21:40Speaker 4: eight to six, go home, have dinner, work out, watch TV.
- 21:45Speaker 4: I don't want that life. I want the life that
- 21:47Speaker 4: you showed us, which was balance, right, work out in
- 21:51Speaker 4: the morning if you want, work out at night, or
- 21:53Speaker 4: don't work out it all that day. And guess what.
- 21:55Speaker 4: I have houses in Mexico and I can go there
- 21:57Speaker 4: for five months. My clients don't even know him there
- 21:58Speaker 4: because I'm on zooms and I'm right, got staff that
- 22:01Speaker 4: handles things, and it's a life that I chose to live,
- 22:05Speaker 4: which is not your typical eight to five, right. I mean,
- 22:08Speaker 4: I was here at the office last night to eleven
- 22:10Speaker 4: at night because I choose to be not because I
- 22:11Speaker 4: have to be right.
- 22:13Speaker 2: You could right.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And I loved Michael and I forget what season, but
- 22:17Speaker 1: he was talking to his friends how he was going
- 22:18Speaker 1: to go into he was gonna follow in his MoMA's footsteps,
- 22:23Speaker 1: and they were kind of like, why are you going
- 22:24Speaker 1: to do that? And he said, if I can afford
- 22:26Speaker 1: to buy a boat just by selling insurance, I'll sell insurance.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I was like, that's just as simple as that.
- 22:34Speaker 4: No, he's just so just so smart and he so
- 22:39Speaker 4: I hired like ten of his college friends. He graduated
- 22:42Speaker 4: University of calared Boulder, and I had a call center.
- 22:44Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, I'm gonna teach you guys. This dial
- 22:46Speaker 4: for dollars. You just dial for dollars. Back in the day,
- 22:49Speaker 4: I had to drive around, knock on doors and do whatever,
- 22:52Speaker 4: mailers and all the shit that we had to do
- 22:53Speaker 4: when we first started the business. So I'm like, here's
- 22:56Speaker 4: a list, dial for dollars. Whoever says yes they want
- 22:59Speaker 4: to meet with you, you have him come in the office,
- 23:01Speaker 4: or you meet with them, or do it over the phone.
- 23:03Speaker 4: So that lasted like a year. They were doing spitballs
- 23:06Speaker 4: and fart and all the shit. I'm like, okay, everybody's
- 23:08Speaker 4: fired except my son. So Michael's like, Mom, I really
- 23:13Speaker 4: need them all to go so I can concentrate. So
- 23:16Speaker 4: I said, on your board in your office, I want
- 23:18Speaker 4: you to write down what your minimum goal is to
- 23:22Speaker 4: sell policies. So let's say he wanted to sell ten
- 23:26Speaker 4: policies a month or twenty whatever the number is. So
- 23:29Speaker 4: you don't end that month until you do all ten
- 23:33Speaker 4: policies or by the premium, and then if you're short,
- 23:36Speaker 4: you've fallen into the next month. Okay, so let's say
- 23:39Speaker 4: you wanted to write five thousand dollars in premium. So
- 23:43Speaker 4: one month he wrote for he's got to move that
- 23:45Speaker 4: thousand over, son, I's got to write six thousand six months.
- 23:49Speaker 4: And he said, I never fell behind because I never
- 23:52Speaker 4: wanted to roll it over. I mean he's making he's
- 23:57Speaker 4: over three hundred thousand, and he's in Spain right now,
- 23:59Speaker 4: working remote. He travels the world. He's loving life.
- 24:03Speaker 1: So he's not married, doesn't have kids, no joy his life.
- 24:09Speaker 4: It's tried the relationship things, and it's gone well until
- 24:13Speaker 4: a lot of the girls he's stated have their handout
- 24:16Speaker 4: and they want to be taken care of, and from
- 24:19Speaker 4: a mama that works. His sister works, My sister were workers.
- 24:23Speaker 4: We just work. We don't look for a handout, right
- 24:28Speaker 4: or wrong, We just don't.
- 24:29Speaker 1: But how interesting, though, because I think that some men
- 24:32Speaker 1: have come to you looking for a handout.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, would you say that?
- 24:36Speaker 4: Of course? Good good, good analysis. And I always thought
- 24:42Speaker 4: I can do this because many times men take care
- 24:45Speaker 4: of women. Why can't I take care of my man?
- 24:46Speaker 2: I totally agree with you, nothing wrong with it at all.
- 24:49Speaker 4: It's like whoever can do it. Let's just do it
- 24:51Speaker 4: and enjoy life together. My current boyfriend, he's one hundred
- 24:55Speaker 4: percent independent. I wrote down eighteen things that I needed.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Independent entrepreneur, not a nine to five allah, non smoker,
- 25:02Speaker 4: non drinker, you know all that shit. So it worked
- 25:06Speaker 4: because I manifested him. But also I wanted to be
- 25:11Speaker 4: the one that I didn't think they'd ever leave me
- 25:13Speaker 4: because I was. I was a bread winner. I was
- 25:15Speaker 4: taken care of them, and I don't want to be left.
- 25:17Speaker 4: I have fear of being alone.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Okay, is that abandonment issues?
- 25:22Speaker 4: Probably? Okay, I just don't like being alone. I want
- 25:25Speaker 4: a partner.
- 25:26Speaker 2: You want companionship.
- 25:27Speaker 1: But your boyfriend now lives in a different state, in
- 25:31Speaker 1: a different state, ish, so oh.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Go to work out for too long? So he moved
- 25:36Speaker 4: to Arizona. He's the developer and last weekend he was
- 25:40Speaker 4: home and he's like, I don't think it's going to work.
- 25:42Speaker 4: I go what because being a part I don't like it.
- 25:44Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, So I had to let him go
- 25:47Speaker 4: do it because I want to control him and all that.
- 25:49Speaker 4: So he's moving back.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I love that because you got mood. Will he live
- 25:55Speaker 2: with you?
- 25:56Speaker 4: He has been Yeah, he has been for two years.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Good.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I mean, I'm happy for you because I feel like
- 26:03Speaker 1: your heart is always in the right place from what
- 26:05Speaker 1: I've what I've seen, and when you and I talk,
- 26:07Speaker 1: your heart's always in the right place. So if you
- 26:10Speaker 1: could talk about the from the days of dawn to
- 26:16Speaker 1: let's let's count the guy you're with now out and
- 26:19Speaker 1: who was the last night?
- 26:20Speaker 4: So it was Brooks and Steve. So so Mike is
- 26:24Speaker 4: now okay, my first husband. So I was married for
- 26:28Speaker 4: thirty years. So I was married to Mike for nine
- 26:31Speaker 4: and Don for twenty ish. Don and I would have
- 26:34Speaker 4: never gotten divorced if we if I wasn't on a
- 26:37Speaker 4: reality show. I know that to be true. So I
- 26:39Speaker 4: love marriage. I love being together. We both went sideways
- 26:42Speaker 4: for a lot of reasons. Yeah, books, I wanted to
- 26:45Speaker 4: take care of He was from Mississippi. He had bad teeth,
- 26:49Speaker 4: he had stupid clothes. I'm like, come on to California.
- 26:52Speaker 4: I'm gonna go take you to Bloomingdale's and north Stum's
- 26:54Speaker 4: and Saxoonore, gonna get you all the wardrobe and get
- 26:56Speaker 4: out of the clock crack.
- 26:59Speaker 2: He was your project.
- 27:00Speaker 4: He was in my project that I had to get
- 27:01Speaker 4: him a car and kind of do all this shit
- 27:03Speaker 4: for him. So I did. I got a Marine droverer.
- 27:06Speaker 4: He fit into Orange County very good, and you know
- 27:09Speaker 4: how that went. So that didn't work. Five years of
- 27:13Speaker 4: wasted my life. And then I met Steve, who's a narcissist.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I didn't know what a narcissist was until you're with one,
- 27:21Speaker 4: and then you go through the therapy and the trauma
- 27:24Speaker 4: bonding and all that stuff. So that sucked. He left
- 27:28Speaker 4: me for a thirty five year old.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Oh my god, well.
- 27:31Speaker 4: He's sleeping with me. He was banging this bimbo school
- 27:37Speaker 4: teacher that she met him at a bar. She said
- 27:41Speaker 4: he was rich and famous. He's neither one.
- 27:46Speaker 1: So out of those three, Dawn Brooks and Steve, who
- 27:51Speaker 1: did the biggest number on you and would say like that,
- 27:54Speaker 1: that one was the hardest to recover.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Brooks okay, you know, because he claimed he had cancer
- 28:01Speaker 4: and I was supporting him and supporting him and supporting him,
- 28:03Speaker 4: and I was going to work every day and Meghan
- 28:06Speaker 4: King Edmunds decided to ask for his medical records. And
- 28:10Speaker 4: I don't know what's true or not, but he wasn't
- 28:12Speaker 4: going to produce him and then they said he led
- 28:14Speaker 4: up cancer.
- 28:15Speaker 2: So I don't know, how do you feel about Meghan?
- 28:17Speaker 4: I want nothing to do with her?
- 28:19Speaker 2: Okay, you want nothing to do with her?
- 28:20Speaker 4: Okayro She wasn't smart enough to know this is just
- 28:24Speaker 4: a reality show. You don't hurt people's lives. But because
- 28:27Speaker 4: I'm a fiduciary, and because I'm with the National Ethics gurou,
- 28:31Speaker 4: you can't go after me and say I faked cancer
- 28:33Speaker 4: because I ensure people, right, So what type of ethics
- 28:37Speaker 4: do I have if I'm lying to the public saying
- 28:40Speaker 4: that my boyfriend has cancer and he doesn't. So it
- 28:45Speaker 4: was just an icky thing and it was a horrible experience,
- 28:49Speaker 4: and she wasn't smart enough to say, you know what,
- 28:51Speaker 4: this this is a TV show and I'm not going
- 28:53Speaker 4: to hurt VICKI.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I understand that taking Megan out of it. Were there
- 28:59Speaker 1: moments behind those doors that you had with Brooks where
- 29:01Speaker 1: you had a feeling You're like, something is fishy, Like
- 29:04Speaker 1: please tell me if this is real or not?
- 29:06Speaker 4: Yeah, and he would say, of course it's real. I'm
- 29:08Speaker 4: just not exposing my medical records.
- 29:12Speaker 2: That's when he would make it make sense.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Yeah, And I was like, you know what, you have
- 29:16Speaker 4: that right. You're not getting paid to do this show.
- 29:18Speaker 4: You don't have to show me or anybody. Don't don't
- 29:21Speaker 4: do it. If you're not comfortable with it, don't do it.
- 29:23Speaker 4: So it made sense to me, and I just I'm like,
- 29:26Speaker 4: I love you, I believe you. Why wouldn't I believe him?
- 29:28Speaker 4: Why would somebody ever lie to me about can't.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Sold about something like that? Right, it's almost unfathomable. Do
- 29:33Speaker 1: you even know where he is now?
- 29:35Speaker 4: He's in Florida or Mississippi. Got married right away, so
- 29:38Speaker 4: does Steve? Married right away? Both of them?
- 29:44Speaker 1: Oh my god, You're like, good luck, Chuck, your luck
- 29:46Speaker 1: shot them and then they go.
- 29:50Speaker 4: It's like, oh my god, girl, what are you thinking?
- 29:53Speaker 4: So yeah, there we go.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Did you watch last season of Oh See?
- 30:00Speaker 4: Really? I mean I watch it with my you know,
- 30:02Speaker 4: like this is boring me and I and it's so scripted,
- 30:06Speaker 4: typical of what Tamra was going to do the whole season.
- 30:08Speaker 4: And I'm just disgusted by her because she at one
- 30:12Speaker 4: time was a really good friend of mine and she.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Nut I do miss that friendship. I missed the trace amigas.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I really miss me some Vi.
- 30:21Speaker 4: And Shannon and I are still friends. It's just too
- 30:24Speaker 4: bad that she couldn't just be kind, you know, she
- 30:28Speaker 4: don't stand that walk stuff. And then she wants in
- 30:30Speaker 4: a oh, I'm sorry, I love you. No, you don't
- 30:33Speaker 4: you hurt me like you don't. This is a this
- 30:35Speaker 4: is a TV show girl. I'll just keep staying your lane. Right.
- 30:39Speaker 1: How did you feel about Alexis Billino? Are you guys friends?
- 30:43Speaker 4: No, she's a bimbo.
- 30:45Speaker 1: No, no, but I so I was in Palm Springs,
- 30:49Speaker 1: VICKI and my mom told me. We're eating at this
- 30:51Speaker 1: restaurant downtown Palm Springs and I see Jim walk by
- 30:55Speaker 1: and I say to my mom, you know Alexis. That's
- 30:57Speaker 1: her ex husband, and she goes, well, you know, he
- 30:59Speaker 1: has a rest here. And I was like, oh, I
- 31:01Speaker 1: wonder what it's called. And I like look up at
- 31:02Speaker 1: the sign and I'm like and she goes, what's his name?
- 31:05Speaker 1: I said, his name's Jim. Jim What Jim Blino? We're here,
- 31:09Speaker 1: Jimmy be So he comes up. He was so kind
- 31:12Speaker 1: and he goes, you know, if you don't know me,
- 31:14Speaker 1: I'm Alexis Billino's ex husband. And I was like, yo,
- 31:17Speaker 1: trust me, I know all about it, he goes, Wow,
- 31:18Speaker 1: what a shit show. She definitely made me look much
- 31:21Speaker 1: better though, so even he had some thoughts.
- 31:24Speaker 2: I hope he doesn't get mad that I'm I'm talking
- 31:26Speaker 2: like that.
- 31:26Speaker 5: But you know, Jim's good guy. Jim's I mean, I've
- 31:30Speaker 5: known him loosely, but you know, he's never done anything
- 31:34Speaker 5: wrong with me, and he's a good guy. But I
- 31:37Speaker 5: think he still supports Alexis, crazy as that is. Really,
- 31:41Speaker 5: she's got three kids, ones in college. I think two
- 31:44Speaker 5: are approaching graduating.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I don't think that Johnny Jay and Alexis. I don't
- 31:50Speaker 1: think it will last because I think there was a
- 31:52Speaker 1: high for them.
- 31:53Speaker 4: They're not gonna get married.
- 31:54Speaker 1: No, they were like bonding over this TV show. Now
- 31:57Speaker 1: no one gives a shit. They had their moment last season,
- 32:00Speaker 1: but I'm like, it was so embarrassing to watch that
- 32:04Speaker 1: whole thing, and Shannon was just like off tear Chef's cause.
- 32:10Speaker 4: She did great. I was really proud of her, but
- 32:12Speaker 4: you know, there's the door, shut the door.
- 32:14Speaker 2: It's like so stupid.
- 32:16Speaker 4: Script that and then she then production said yeah they did,
- 32:20Speaker 4: she did stay it in the car. How many times
- 32:22Speaker 4: am I going to say that before it sounds right,
- 32:24Speaker 4: like Bimbo. She didn't last, right, she was a friend.
- 32:28Speaker 4: She didn't last. She's done.
- 32:29Speaker 2: What's happening with Gretchen?
- 32:31Speaker 4: So I like Gretchen. I'm happy for It's bizarre. She
- 32:34Speaker 4: hasn't been on for like, I don't know, nine, ten,
- 32:37Speaker 4: eleven years. She hasn't been out the long time.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Does she have an does she have an orange or
- 32:43Speaker 2: is she just a friend of.
- 32:45Speaker 4: The friend of She has a daughter, Skyler, beautiful Skyler.
- 32:50Speaker 4: She's been with Slade now like fifteen years.
- 32:53Speaker 2: That's wild.
- 32:54Speaker 4: I know because he dated Lauri and Joe when we
- 32:58Speaker 4: first started Slaying and I started a long long time ago.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Slay went through the ringer and Tamra did it to
- 33:06Speaker 4: him and it was humiliating, embarrassing. And I think Gretchen
- 33:10Speaker 4: has some paybacks to her, Like, you know, she's going
- 33:14Speaker 4: to have an opinion on how really Tamra treated Slave.
- 33:20Speaker 4: I think it'll be good.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, they're still together, going strong. They're like
- 33:24Speaker 1: the Bravo version of Headie and Spencer Pratt. No one
- 33:28Speaker 1: thought it would work. It seemed one way, but it
- 33:32Speaker 1: ended up being fabulous.
- 33:33Speaker 4: It did.
- 33:34Speaker 2: My last question for you before I let you go
- 33:36Speaker 2: enjoy your day.
- 33:38Speaker 4: I'm going to l A. Are you guys in La.
- 33:40Speaker 2: We're in La. We're happy to have you here.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Well, and you want Doug Beuten's cooking kibbets a couple hours.
- 33:53Speaker 2: That's going to be so fun. Yeah, a heyday.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I have actually two questions for you three. Would you
- 34:00Speaker 1: ever go back to Real Housewives of Orange County?
- 34:03Speaker 4: Of course with an Orange?
- 34:06Speaker 2: With an Orange? No, friend of business.
- 34:10Speaker 4: You don't know what's going on. You don't know what's
- 34:13Speaker 4: I've got up here at a dinner scene and Tampas
- 34:15Speaker 4: calling Shannon a con. I'm like, what what just happened? What?
- 34:20Speaker 4: It was very difficult for me.
- 34:22Speaker 1: No. I watched it in your face and you cried.
- 34:26Speaker 1: You were like, this is not what we do to
- 34:27Speaker 1: each other. You could tell that you were somewhat in
- 34:29Speaker 1: a different headspace than when we last saw you.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Yep.
- 34:33Speaker 1: The other question is what was the best thing to
- 34:36Speaker 1: come out of doing Real Housewives of OC meeting you?
- 34:41Speaker 4: So I just feel the relationships that came from it.
- 34:46Speaker 4: And also I was always very insecure. I didn't like
- 34:49Speaker 4: the public speak. I do speeches now all the time
- 34:51Speaker 4: for my work, retirement planning seminars, I can go on
- 34:55Speaker 4: a TV show, I'm not nervous. I think the confidence
- 34:59Speaker 4: that it brings to you think.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I mean, I agree with you.
- 35:02Speaker 1: It brought a completely different type of confidence because you
- 35:05Speaker 1: almost have to fake it until you make it.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Like you said, you dress for success.
- 35:09Speaker 1: That's kind of what I did when I would be
- 35:11Speaker 1: on camera because I was very intimidated by just life
- 35:14Speaker 1: and not everyone would say, you're so confident. I'm like,
- 35:17Speaker 1: I am the least confident person on the planet. But
- 35:20Speaker 1: if I show that, this world will break me down, right, So, yeah,
- 35:25Speaker 1: I agree with you. It does bring confidence. Is there
- 35:28Speaker 1: one thing that you look at and you're like, this
- 35:30Speaker 1: was the worst thing to come out of signing up
- 35:32Speaker 1: for that show?
- 35:33Speaker 4: My divorce. Probably my divorce. I divorced a good guy
- 35:37Speaker 4: and that was that I regret. And I even tell
- 35:40Speaker 4: my daughter last night. I was talking to Brianna and
- 35:42Speaker 4: she's really close with Dan. I said, you know what
- 35:44Speaker 4: if I could do a redo and this was twelve
- 35:47Speaker 4: years ago, and she goes, you still think about it?
- 35:49Speaker 4: I said, yeah, because I broke up the family's dynamic,
- 35:53Speaker 4: you know. And he wasn't third father because I was
- 35:56Speaker 4: married first to Mike. The debut Dad and then came
- 36:00Speaker 4: in three years later. But I still feel the show
- 36:04Speaker 4: definitely changed me. It changed us because I was traveling.
- 36:08Speaker 4: We never spoke on the phone. He was traveling with work.
- 36:11Speaker 4: We were just going two different directions. We were an
- 36:14Speaker 4: intimate at all. I was like, what in the hell
- 36:16Speaker 4: am I doing here? I'm in my early fifties and
- 36:19Speaker 4: I'm miserable. So I think that that is my biggest regret.
- 36:26Speaker 1: That breaks my heart because I am watching the episodes
- 36:30Speaker 1: where you're with Dawn and he. I really loved you
- 36:34Speaker 1: guys together.
- 36:35Speaker 4: We weren't good married, we're good people, like we would
- 36:40Speaker 4: do good and then we'd go home and then he'd
- 36:42Speaker 4: yell at me about something that I did. I'm like,
- 36:44Speaker 4: I didn't say that. He's like and yell. I don't
- 36:46Speaker 4: like yelling.
- 36:46Speaker 2: You shut down.
- 36:48Speaker 4: I just get like, I walk out the room. I'm like,
- 36:50Speaker 4: I can't be yelled at. This is disgusting. I'm you
- 36:52Speaker 4: know of age, you don't yell at me. Right, So
- 36:55Speaker 4: then it was starting to get like so much tension
- 36:59Speaker 4: all the time.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Are you guys still friends?
- 37:02Speaker 4: Ish?
- 37:03Speaker 2: Ish?
- 37:04Speaker 4: No, I would say, he's mad after you.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Wrote the check and divorced him. You were like, I'm good,
- 37:11Speaker 2: he's good.
- 37:12Speaker 4: I know that was not it was not a good day,
- 37:14Speaker 4: but I I care for him. I don't say we're
- 37:17Speaker 4: I wouldn't say we're friends.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I'm happy that Brianna still talks to it. Yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 1: that's great. Before I release you, I want to make
- 37:27Speaker 1: sure that your your kids are good. It sounds like
- 37:31Speaker 1: your son is living the dream. But you have four
- 37:33Speaker 1: grand babies. I do.
- 37:35Speaker 4: I don't get to see very much. That's a sad part.
- 37:37Speaker 4: They're in Oklahoma still. They moved out and they're super happy.
- 37:42Speaker 4: They got a beautiful farm. They got like three sheep
- 37:45Speaker 4: cow eighteen. They're just living their best life. And she
- 37:49Speaker 4: works full time and she's she's a perfect mom. She's
- 37:52Speaker 4: doing great.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Does she have four boys?
- 37:54Speaker 4: Three boys in my little Cora girl. She's going to
- 37:56Speaker 4: be three in a couple of weeks.
- 37:57Speaker 2: So, and I love the name.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I'm really happy for you, VICKI. I'm happy that your
- 38:02Speaker 1: guys moving back. I'm happy that the family as well.
- 38:05Speaker 1: You know, whether you're on our TVs in real time,
- 38:09Speaker 1: you will always be the most iconic housewive. You're a
- 38:13Speaker 1: household name. And I so enjoy going back and watching
- 38:16Speaker 1: you and I'm thrilled you are on the podcast today and.
- 38:19Speaker 4: We're going to put you on our podcast. My friend, myself,
- 38:22Speaker 4: my podcast. So the reason why we named that was,
- 38:25Speaker 4: I don't know if you remember the one episode I
- 38:26Speaker 4: was yelling at camera and I said, you're supposed to
- 38:28Speaker 4: be my friend, my soulmate, my friend, and we named
- 38:31Speaker 4: the podcast after me yelling at her because she.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Was me to Mel's Definitely, I was not planning on
- 38:36Speaker 1: having my two children in studio and I want to
- 38:39Speaker 1: give you my full attention when I do your podcast,
- 38:41Speaker 1: so once I i'm solo, I will be there.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Okay, we love you, I love you.
