VISION: Rasul Douglas Fits Daronte Jones Because Washington Knows His Value
Rasul Douglas fits the Washington Commanders because Daronte Jones likely saw more than veteran depth, he saw a cornerback profile he already understands and values.
Douglas’ divisional exposure in Green Bay, coaching-network ties through West Virginia and Arizona, and a career built on adaptability all help explain why this move makes sense. Why would Jones believe in Douglas before coaching him directly? Because Douglas has spent years earning trust, surviving different systems, and proving he can help wherever he lands.
