Gill begins the Advent series posing a question and then leading us into it. This time of the year shapes our lives as hope is often a part of our lives as we look forward to something. What do we hope for? Sometimes there’s a chance element to our hope; I hope I get that job, I hope I pass my exams, I hope I get that Christmas present I’ve been wanting, even, I hope I win the lottery! The Bible looks at hope differently.
