- 1:09Speaker 2: Send us a text over to 22987. Today, September 15th,
- 1:17Speaker 2: is World Engineers Day. Thank you. Are you still an
- 1:21Speaker 2: engineer if you're not practicing? He's a fan. You went
- 1:27Speaker 2: to college, you got your degree in chemical engineering, but
- 1:29Speaker 2: you've never applied that for a career. That's right, you
- 1:33Speaker 2: did it first. You worked in a lab or something.
- 1:35Speaker 5: I worked in a lab and I worked out in factories.
- 1:37Speaker 5: I was an environmental consultant in engineering. That's all I
- 1:41Speaker 5: did in college.
- 1:42Speaker 2: I did like three years of.
- 1:43Speaker 5: work study when I was just going to factories all day, basically.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Nice.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Can you say now, can you still identify as an engineer?
- 1:51Speaker 6: As a former engineer.
- 1:52Speaker 5: I will say this, the, what you really want is
- 1:54Speaker 5: a PE or professional engineering certification, which I never got,
- 1:58Speaker 5: did not have.
- 1:59Speaker 2: So if I wanted to. Too hard to get or?
- 2:01Speaker 5: It's one of those things where you have to have like,
- 2:03Speaker 5: like I worked for PEs where you have to have
- 2:05Speaker 5: like a, you have to like a certain amount of
- 2:06Speaker 5: time on the job and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 2:08Speaker 2: So it's sort of like that sort of, it's like a,
- 2:10Speaker 2: I did P.E. It was cool.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Easy.
- 2:13Speaker 2: It was so easy.
- 2:14Speaker 7: Yeah, crush it. Got awards and stuff.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Today is World Afro Day.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Sweet.
- 2:20Speaker 2: It's National Dare Day, like the dare program. Oh, yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 2: the drugs.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Yep.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Worked for you.
- 2:25Speaker 2: It's National IT Professionals Day. It's Felt Hat Day.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Oh, rip.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Respect for the Aged Day. Greg Gorin. Respect me.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Aged.
- 2:35Speaker 2: And on the Food Holidays, today is National Cheese Toast Day. Sure.
- 2:40Speaker 2: National Linguini Day.
- 2:42Speaker 8: Yes.
- 2:43Speaker 2: And today is National Double Cheeseburger Day. All of us.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Which will not help you live longer, though, Greg. Because
- 2:50Speaker 2: Greg wants to live to the ripe old age of 150.
- 2:52Speaker 2: 150 would be nice.
- 2:55Speaker 3: 110 would be nice. Yeah.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Every day there's like something different about like, you know,
- 2:59Speaker 2: if you eat this, you're shortening your life. But then like,
- 3:01Speaker 2: I don't know, it seems like a year later, it's like, oh, no, wait,
- 3:03Speaker 2: these are good. Back it up.
- 3:06Speaker 6: Wine's good for you.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Keep on drinking.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, obviously, like eating double cheeseburgers all the time,
- 3:13Speaker 2: probably not going to be great. Right. All the drinking
- 3:16Speaker 2: is probably not going to be great.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Probably not because it's poison.
- 3:19Speaker 2: So this new research highlighting six foods and ingredients linked
- 3:24Speaker 2: to a longer life and a few associated with the
- 3:27Speaker 2: shorter ones. So this is a three year study.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:31Speaker 2: The most dangerous preference.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Soda.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Soda.
- 3:34Speaker 2: A 38% higher risk of death.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I'm kind of back on it.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I think you mean sodies. Yeah, sodies. Diet sodies were second.
- 3:42Speaker 6: I don't want to hear about it.
- 3:44Speaker 2: So the regular with sugar soda, number one. Number two,
- 3:46Speaker 2: diet soda is a 23% higher risk. Two more drinks
- 3:50Speaker 2: follow with tea with sugar, which has a 22% higher
- 3:54Speaker 2: risk of death. And then whole milk.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Really?
- 3:57Speaker 2: With an 18% higher risk.
- 3:59Speaker 6: But I thought we were supposed to drink whole milk now.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Cornflakes. Are the final food linked with an increased risk
- 4:05Speaker 2: of death? What? Boring-ass cornflakes? Weird.
- 4:09Speaker 6: What's the point?
- 4:10Speaker 2: Simple carbs. Also, just FYI, I'm good on the soda
- 4:13Speaker 2: because I drink zero, not diet. But still the same, right? No,
- 4:18Speaker 2: I'm saying for the sake of that, isn't that the same?
- 4:20Speaker 6: It's all chemical.
- 4:25Speaker 2: These are the six specific foods and ingredients that were
- 4:28Speaker 2: linked with a lower risk of death. Extra virgin olive oil,
- 4:32Speaker 2: number one, 33% lower risk. Black pepper is second.
- 4:38Speaker 7: Love black pepper.
- 4:39Speaker 2: No problem with that. 28% lower risk. Let's see. Asparagus
- 4:44Speaker 2: and broccoli.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Yes. Yup.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Broccoli, yum. Asparagus, not so much. 31% lower risk. Butternut
- 4:51Speaker 2: squash is next. 25% lower risk.
- 4:53Speaker 3: What is that? I love it, but when do you
- 4:54Speaker 3: ever eat that?
- 4:55Speaker 2: Yeah, what dorks are doing this? Followed by eggplant.
- 4:58Speaker 6: Yum.
- 4:59Speaker 2: We were just talking about eggplant.
- 5:01Speaker 6: How much we love eggplant.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Are you talking about the eggplant emoji?
- 5:04Speaker 3: No.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Gina just brought up eggplant and said, how can you
- 5:08Speaker 2: not love eggplant?
- 5:08Speaker 4: We love eggplant. Really?
- 5:09Speaker 2: It's so tasty.
- 5:10Speaker 4: It's weird.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I like zucchini. But I don't like eggplant parmesan. Don't
- 5:18Speaker 2: like it.
- 5:18Speaker 3: What?
- 5:19Speaker 6: Is it too slimy for you?
- 5:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm like, this is what? Oh, it's
- 5:22Speaker 2: so good. Do you think they're lying to us right now, Madness? Yeah.
- 5:25Speaker 2: It's so gross.
- 5:26Speaker 6: You saute it up.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I'll eat the whole thing.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Do you like eggplant? I think, yeah, when it's deep fried.
- 5:32Speaker 2: But anything's good then.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Any vegetable. That's true.
- 5:34Speaker 6: But you just throw it on the grill and won't
- 5:36Speaker 6: eat it?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Eggplant parm is awesome.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Other foods associated with a longer life include whole wheat bread.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Okay.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Spinach, onions, mushrooms, lentils, beans, and bell peppers.
- 5:48Speaker 3: All on my menu.
- 5:49Speaker 4: He's so mad.
- 5:50Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Your favorite.
- 5:52Speaker 7: I mean, I'll stir fry it.
- 5:54Speaker 2: You'll what?
- 5:55Speaker 4: Stir fry it.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Oh, stir fry it.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I thought I said surf riot. I thought he said
- 5:59Speaker 2: I'm going to go on a surf riot. I will
- 6:02Speaker 2: surf riot.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Me too.
- 6:03Speaker 7: Check the tapes. I said stir fry.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Nah. Okay.
- 6:06Speaker 2: There's no tea.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Stir fry it.
- 6:08Speaker 9: Yep.
- 6:09Speaker 2: There was no T. You missed the T. Because I
- 6:11Speaker 2: definitely heard surf. And then I heard riot, where you heard...
- 6:15Speaker 2: I thought you were going to, like, you know.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Check the audio.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Protest vegetables by going.
- 6:20Speaker 2: On a surf ride. It's not your language. It's not
- 6:23Speaker 2: your speech.
- 6:24Speaker 4: It's our ears.
- 6:26Speaker 2: That's been the problem this entire time.
- 6:27Speaker 8: I know.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You've got to get new headphones. Everybody has to. Yeah. Anyway,
- 6:32Speaker 2: so you've got to eat all that boring crap, Greg.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Everything on the.
- 6:36Speaker 3: do eat list is what i normally would i love
- 6:39Speaker 3: that crap gross.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I was talking to somebody and they have longevity in
- 6:42Speaker 2: their family and they're talking about how even their grandparents
- 6:45Speaker 2: like back in the 40s were living into their.
- 6:48Speaker 6: 90s that's crazy that's kind of like their into.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Their late 90s i'm thinking man what a boring time to.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Live so long but see the people in my family
- 6:55Speaker 3: that lived that long they all smoked.
- 6:58Speaker 6: Drank my husband his grandmother is 106 Yeah. So it
- 7:03Speaker 6: can be done.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 6: Not going to be done by me.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Well, I keep seeing things about how now with the
- 7:07Speaker 2: technologies and the medical science advancements and all these things,
- 7:10Speaker 2: like living well into your 100s is not going to
- 7:13Speaker 2: be uncommon. That big of a deal. But it seems
- 7:14Speaker 2: like Dolly Parton and all these other celebrities are somewhere
- 7:17Speaker 2: between 70 and 80 seems to be the... The sweet
- 7:20Speaker 2: spot for most people.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah. Still not bad.
- 7:24Speaker 2: It's time for your birthdays.
- 7:26Speaker 3: It's your birthday.
- 7:28Speaker 2: We're going to party like it's your birthday. We're going
- 7:31Speaker 2: to sip a ton like it's your birthday. And you
- 7:34Speaker 2: know we don't give a fuck if that's your birthday.
- 7:36Speaker 2: And a happy birthday to, look out, Tommy Lee Jones,
- 7:40Speaker 2: 80 years old.
- 7:40Speaker 4: What?
- 7:41Speaker 6: Uh-oh, he needs to be wrapped in bubble wrap.
- 7:43Speaker 7: It's so hot, right?
- 7:44Speaker 3: In the danger zone.
- 7:45Speaker 2: You got Prince Harry, who's 42. Nice. Tom Hardy is 49. Yes.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Jimmy Carr. He's funny, man. The British comedian, TV personality.
- 7:54Speaker 6: Oh, he's in like a three-piece suit.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Always wearing that nice suit.
- 7:57Speaker 4: He's 54.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Heidi Montag. Who loves the Woodsy Show.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Oh, she does.
- 8:01Speaker 6: Loves matcha.
- 8:02Speaker 2: She's 40 years old today. NFL Hall of Famer. One
- 8:06Speaker 2: of the many prides of Pittsburgh. Dan Marino is 65.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And director Oliver Stone, also in the danger zone. He's
- 8:13Speaker 2: 80 years old today.
- 8:15Speaker 3: And he likes to surf right now.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I would have never thought that Oliver Stone and Tommy
- 8:19Speaker 2: Lee Jones are the same age. Yeah, same.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Who would you think is way older? Tommy Lee Jones?
- 8:23Speaker 6: Yeah, Tommy Lee Jones has always been 90.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, he looks like a withered statue.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Plus, Oliver Stone went on this weird thing where he's like,
- 8:30Speaker 5: he lives in Russia now.
- 8:31Speaker 2: He followed a Steven Seagal path. Oh, yeah. Your porno
- 8:35Speaker 2: birthday today is Blanche Bradbury.
- 8:38Speaker 8: Oh.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Today's birthday girl, she's been used more than a public
- 8:41Speaker 2: Wi-Fi in 588 fine films, including Anal Acrobats, Volume 10. Oh, wow.
- 8:48Speaker 2: She was in Blonde Buns by the Fire. Also, Blonde
- 8:52Speaker 2: Works the Wand, Volume 1.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yes, she does.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Lesbian foot fetish, love at its finest. She was in
- 8:58Speaker 2: Sexy Blonde Gets Probed by a Doctor on Reception Desk. Also,
- 9:03Speaker 2: Hot Nights in Prison, Volume 1. And who can forget
- 9:07Speaker 2: her unforgettable role in Almighty Dildos?
- 9:10Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Bow down.
- 9:12Speaker 2: That's Blanche Bradbury. That is a very old-timey sounding name.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Blanche, yeah.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 9:16Speaker 6: Golden Girls.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Gold, that's right. I'm thinking Golden Girls. She looks a
- 9:20Speaker 2: little bit like Jessica Simpson. Really?
- 9:23Speaker 6: I was not expecting that.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Neither was I. She's 38 years old today, and that's
- 9:26Speaker 2: your porno birthday and your celebrity birthday. It's here on

- 10:07Speaker 3: At this point, why don't we just all liquidate our
- 10:09Speaker 3: bank account and take the money and put it in
- 10:11Speaker 3: the fire?
- 10:11Speaker 2: I'm looking for real answers.
- 10:15Speaker 4: The Woody Show. And, yup.
- 10:19Speaker 2: As part of this new hour, we go and check
- 10:22Speaker 2: in with Gina Grad. She's got the trending news headlines.
- 10:24Speaker 6: Yeah, well, the Emmys were last night, and the big
- 10:27Speaker 6: winner was my new favorite show, Widows Bay. They won
- 10:30Speaker 6: 14 awards overall. That is the most ever for a
- 10:33Speaker 6: comedy in a single year. I binged the whole first season,
- 10:36Speaker 6: and it's seriously my favorite show. The star, Matthew Rhys,
- 10:40Speaker 6: he had a big night, too. He's the first actor
- 10:42Speaker 6: ever to win two leading acting Emmys in the same year.
- 10:46Speaker 6: He won Best Comedy Actor for Widows Bay and Best
- 10:48Speaker 6: Limited Series Actor for The Beast in Me. The Pit
- 10:52Speaker 6: won Best Drama for the second year in a row,
- 10:53Speaker 6: Noah Wiley. He won Best Drama Actor. Rhea Sehorne finally
- 10:58Speaker 6: got her first Emmy for Pluribus, which I also recommend.
- 11:01Speaker 6: Jean Smart won Best Actress for Hacks. And DTF St.
- 11:05Speaker 6: Louis won Best Limited Series. If you didn't watch that,
- 11:08Speaker 6: it's very weird.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I think this is the first time I have not
- 11:11Speaker 2: watched any of those shows. Oh, my God.
- 11:13Speaker 6: It was a lot of good ones.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I only heard of Widow's Bay yesterday.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Oh, really? Never heard of it either. It's so good.
- 11:19Speaker 6: It's on Apple TV. My husband just said, like, oh,
- 11:23Speaker 6: we should watch it. He knows, like, one of the writers.
- 11:25Speaker 4: I was like, eh.
- 11:26Speaker 6: And I started watching it. It's amazing. It's like a
- 11:29Speaker 6: horror comedy. And it's fantastic.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Have you watched the final season of Hacks?
- 11:33Speaker 1: No.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Not great.
- 11:34Speaker 6: Because you said it.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Wasn't that great.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it kind of fell off.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Was John Mulaney the host?
- 11:38Speaker 6: No, he just came up to do like a couple
- 11:41Speaker 6: of jokes and everybody freaked out. Why does he do
- 11:43Speaker 6: this all the time?
- 11:44Speaker 2: Well, I heard the one clip from last night. Here's
- 11:49Speaker 2: a little bit of that.
- 11:50Speaker 8: I believe it was DJ Khaled who said, real men
- 11:53Speaker 8: don't go down on their wives.
- 11:55Speaker 4: But.
- 11:56Speaker 8: But these nominees know that that is BS.
- 12:03Speaker 4: They know.
- 12:06Speaker 8: There's often less pressure on them if they do that first.
- 12:12Speaker 2: You know what?
- 12:13Speaker 1: True.
- 12:14Speaker 3: That's so random.
- 12:15Speaker 2: He says no lie.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:17Speaker 6: And everybody says, like, why doesn't he just host everything
- 12:19Speaker 6: all the time?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 12:20Speaker 6: Well, Sally Field won Best Limited Series Actress for Remarkably
- 12:24Speaker 6: Bright Creatures, which I've never heard of.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I think it's about an octopus or something.
- 12:27Speaker 8: Is it really?
- 12:28Speaker 3: It's a movie.
- 12:29Speaker 6: It was cute. Yeah, it was on Netflix. Yeah, I
- 12:31Speaker 6: liked it.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 6: And Woody, your boyfriend, Michael J. Fox, got two standing ovations,
- 12:36Speaker 6: accepting the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Well, that's not nice. He's not standing.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Well, with a little help, probably.
- 12:42Speaker 4: No.
- 12:43Speaker 3: He wasn't a wheelchair.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I didn't see it.
- 12:46Speaker 6: I think you walk a little bit, right? Well, it's
- 12:49Speaker 6: a wrap for NFL Week 1, and it ended with
- 12:51Speaker 6: the Chiefs' ass-whooping of the Broncos, 31-10. Two-time MVP Patrick
- 12:56Speaker 6: Mahomes was back, but that wasn't even the biggest story.
- 12:58Speaker 6: Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, he made his Chiefs
- 13:01Speaker 6: debut and had a huge night rushing for 173 rushing
- 13:06Speaker 6: yards with two touchdowns. By the way, in case you're wondering, yes,
- 13:10Speaker 6: Taylor Swift was there. She skipped the Emmys to be
- 13:13Speaker 6: there for her man, and she chatted it up all
- 13:15Speaker 6: night with Tom Cruise.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I saw that. Tom Cruise was there, and people were
- 13:19Speaker 2: posting warnings like, dude, stay away from Tom Cruise because
- 13:22Speaker 2: he's going to recruit you and Travis for Scientology. Oh,
- 13:26Speaker 2: is that what's going on? Tom Cruise is looking weird, dude.
- 13:29Speaker 6: Well, he's very puffy.
- 13:30Speaker 2: He's looking like a woman, right? He's getting womanly.
- 13:32Speaker 6: In his 60s, he's full of filler. It's what happens.
- 13:35Speaker 2: It's what they do. He looks almost like a different person. Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 2: And there's sometimes, you remember the Seinfeld episode where the girlfriend,
- 13:42Speaker 2: she looked one way.
- 13:44Speaker 6: Oh, in the lighting.
- 13:45Speaker 2: In the lighting and in a completely different way.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:48Speaker 2: She was either like really pretty or really hideous. Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Like Tom Cruise, you see him sometimes and he still
- 13:54Speaker 2: looks like Tom Cruise. Other times you're like, wait, who
- 13:56Speaker 2: is that? Oh, Tom Cruise. Yeah. He has a movie
- 13:59Speaker 2: coming out called Digger.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:01Speaker 7: That should be out, I think, this weekend.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Or no, two weeks.
- 14:04Speaker 6: Is that why he's showing up everywhere?
- 14:05Speaker 7: Yeah, but he looks a little off. But then it
- 14:08Speaker 7: kind of looks like him, exactly what you're talking about.
- 14:10Speaker 2: What's the race car movie that he did? Days of Thunder.
- 14:13Speaker 2: They're doing another Days of Thunder.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Did you see that?
- 14:15Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 6: With Anne Hathaway or something?
- 14:16Speaker 7: Yeah, that's what I automatically thought. I'm like, oh, Taylor
- 14:19Speaker 7: Swift's probably doing some songs for Days of Thunder. But
- 14:22Speaker 7: they're not even shooting Days of Thunder until Anne Hathaway
- 14:25Speaker 7: has a baby. So it's not even going to come
- 14:27Speaker 7: out until 2028.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Yeah, so like squeeze that thing out already.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Babies ruin everything.
- 14:31Speaker 9: Wow.
- 14:32Speaker 6: Well, the Supreme Court has rejected new restrictions in mail-in ballots,
- 14:36Speaker 6: which would have required states to give the Postal Service
- 14:39Speaker 6: voter information. That's stuff like names, addresses, and everyone would
- 14:42Speaker 6: have a unique barcode on every single mail-in ballot. But
- 14:46Speaker 6: the court said that they didn't have enough time to
- 14:48Speaker 6: completely change this whole system before November, so that's basically dead.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Again, I love the quote. If voting really mattered, they
- 14:55Speaker 2: wouldn't allow us to do it.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Because the people in power just want nothing more than
- 15:01Speaker 2: to stay in power. So they'll do anything. It's just
- 15:03Speaker 2: like this charade. But there was some I saw it
- 15:08Speaker 2: over the break. And there was a story about some
- 15:11Speaker 2: state somewhere. I got to look it back up. But
- 15:14Speaker 2: they just voted against removing all the dead people from
- 15:17Speaker 2: the voter rolls, which I'm like, yeah. And I'm like, why?
- 15:21Speaker 2: What were the reasons you vote against removing dead people
- 15:27Speaker 2: from voter rolls?
- 15:28Speaker 6: Chicago was famous for that.
- 15:30Speaker 2: But this is what shakes people's confidence in the system.
- 15:33Speaker 4: You're right.
- 15:33Speaker 9: Right.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Because we can have a unique number, a serial number
- 15:36Speaker 3: on every dollar bill ever printed.
- 15:38Speaker 6: And that works.
- 15:39Speaker 3: But it's impossible for a ballot.
- 15:41Speaker 4: But removing the dead people, why is that even being
- 15:43Speaker 4: voted on?
- 15:44Speaker 6: Don't you just remove them?
- 15:45Speaker 2: I don't understand. No, you need those people.
- 15:48Speaker 6: Yeah, we need the votes. Well, Macklemore got the boot
- 15:51Speaker 6: as the opening act for the- Minnesota.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Oh, is it?
- 15:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:54Speaker 6: What are they doing up there?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Something like that.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Let's get crazy up there. He got the boot as
- 16:00Speaker 6: the opening act for the rest of Ed Sheeran's U.S.
- 16:02Speaker 6: tour after making pro-Palestinian comments during their shows at MetLife Stadium.
- 16:07Speaker 6: Macklemore told the crowd, free Palestine, and went along rant
- 16:11Speaker 6: before launching into some protest song he wrote. And we
- 16:14Speaker 6: have a little of that.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Do you really want to hear it?
- 16:17Speaker 6: Not really.
- 16:17Speaker 2: I mean, it's just, who goes to a show for
- 16:21Speaker 2: stuff like this?
- 16:21Speaker 6: You go to a rally, not a concert.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Jeff was playing the clip in the office, I guess,
- 16:26Speaker 2: getting this clip ready. And I'm like, holy crap, this
- 16:29Speaker 2: is going on forever.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:31Speaker 7: Wait, is it him talking or is it a song?
- 16:33Speaker 2: No, it's just him.
- 16:34Speaker 6: I'm monologuing.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Yeah, like, okay, so you go to a show, you pay,
- 16:37Speaker 2: because God knows concerts are a billion dollars.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 3: And this is what you're paying for.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and then this is what happens. He gets up there. Uh-huh.
- 16:49Speaker 2: This tour in the first place? It's because I love
- 16:51Speaker 2: my fans. I'm really proud of this music that I made.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I want to entertain you. I make a lot of
- 16:56Speaker 2: money to stand up here and just sing some songs.
- 16:59Speaker 4: So I could stand up. in stadiums like this.
- 17:04Speaker 2: And feel really good about myself because I worked really
- 17:06Speaker 2: hard playing all these little dumpy clubs for the longest
- 17:08Speaker 2: time before being able to eventually play this big sold
- 17:11Speaker 2: out stadium. And again, share this music that I'm so
- 17:13Speaker 2: passionate about with you, my loyal fans who pay all
- 17:16Speaker 2: this money and work really hard to come see me
- 17:18Speaker 2: for one night and have a lot of fun.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Words that are very dear and dear.
- 17:24Speaker 2: To my heart. Which are thank you.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Thank you for making my amazing life possible. Without you,
- 17:31Speaker 2: I wouldn't have all this really cool stuff and a
- 17:32Speaker 2: nice house and a really cool car. Free Palestine. Oh,
- 17:38Speaker 2: son of a bitch. Oh, yeah. Like, OK, like you're
- 17:44Speaker 2: entitled to whatever opinion you have. And that's that's not
- 17:47Speaker 2: what I'm taking issue with. But it's like the award
- 17:49Speaker 2: shows and the yeah, it's like, God damn it.
- 17:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 2: And it goes on. Sudan, Iran, Cuba, all the hot
- 18:03Speaker 2: vacation spots.
- 18:04Speaker 6: You guys should do something about it. Not me.
- 18:09Speaker 4: I don't even know the song.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Some new song.
- 18:11Speaker 9: Play Thrift Shop.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Whatever that song is. Whatever the hot topic is, he
- 18:19Speaker 4: does seem to get pretty on board.
- 18:35Speaker 6: But the tour promoter says several upcoming stadiums told them
- 18:39Speaker 6: they wouldn't let him perform, which could have forced the
- 18:41Speaker 6: entire show to be canceled. McElmore says Patriots owner Robert
- 18:44Speaker 6: Kraft was one of those dudes pushing to keep him
- 18:47Speaker 6: out of Gillette Stadium. And Kraft confirmed that, by the way.
- 18:49Speaker 6: He says he didn't want McElmore spouting his anti-Semitic rhetoric
- 18:53Speaker 6: and imagery. And McElmore says he doesn't blame his buddy Ed,
- 18:56Speaker 6: still considers him a friend. Which I'm sure Ed's like, okay, whatever.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Just stop ruining my tour.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Yeah, dude.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Remember how we were talking about money a couple seconds ago?
- 19:04Speaker 2: I figured out how to make the most.
- 19:06Speaker 3: It's just me.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Out on stage.
- 19:08Speaker 2: All I need is a guitar. And I have a
- 19:10Speaker 2: looping machine.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I spend X number of dollars once on a looping machine.
- 19:15Speaker 2: And then I come out here and all the money
- 19:18Speaker 2: goes to me. I don't have to pay a band. Yep. Yeah,
- 19:21Speaker 2: I got some people that set up some stage stuff
- 19:23Speaker 2: and some crew and things like that.
- 19:25Speaker 7: Now no opener, even more money.
- 19:26Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I didn't hire a speech writer.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Yeah. And guess what? The Ed Sheeran show will still
- 19:31Speaker 2: sell out the stadium despite Macklemore not being on it.
- 19:36Speaker 6: No problem.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it's interesting, man. These guys, they have it going
- 19:40Speaker 2: on and they just don't know to just shut up.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:44Speaker 2: You know, you have you have people learn.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:47Speaker 2: It's like all of a sudden you get people who
- 19:49Speaker 2: are just, you know, spouting off about things that, you know,
- 19:53Speaker 2: that's not that's not what you're there for.
- 19:55Speaker 6: Well, and I read what he had his alleged conversation
- 19:58Speaker 6: with Ed Sheeran. And he's like, you know, I just
- 20:00Speaker 6: want to you know, this is what I'm here on
- 20:02Speaker 6: this earth to do. And I want to take a stand.
- 20:03Speaker 2: And it's like.
- 20:04Speaker 6: Yeah, anyway, so you cut down, like, I don't do politics. And, like,
- 20:09Speaker 6: you're kind of shaming him for not doing politics.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and before you send over, you know, your text
- 20:13Speaker 2: talking about, well, what are you guys doing? Like, we're
- 20:15Speaker 2: not just the Guess Who's Gas show. Like, this is
- 20:18Speaker 2: literally our job is to talk about the things that
- 20:20Speaker 2: are going on. You know, the news stories that people
- 20:23Speaker 2: are talking about. Yeah, like, whatever the water, remember the
- 20:25Speaker 2: water coolers? Whatever the water cooler conversation is.
- 20:28Speaker 6: Hang around the water cooler.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Yeah. They say if you're a teacher and your students
- 20:33Speaker 3: know your political leanings, you've failed as a teacher. I'm
- 20:35Speaker 3: starting to apply that to entertainers.
- 20:37Speaker 6: Everybody.
- 20:38Speaker 2: They've always kind of been that way. Always.
- 20:40Speaker 3: And it's annoying AF.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Not Dolly. There's always been some of that, right?
- 20:44Speaker 3: Yeah, except for Dolly.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Over the last 10 years, maybe 15 years- It's gotten
- 20:51Speaker 2: so preachy.
- 20:51Speaker 4: It really has.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Where it's, you know, every concert, every award show, like, oh,
- 20:57Speaker 2: here we go. And then you just know this is
- 20:58Speaker 2: a good time to go hit the pisser, you know?
- 21:01Speaker 6: Get some more chili.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a good time to hit that beer line.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Yeah, right.
- 21:05Speaker 2: You know, here comes the rant.
- 21:07Speaker 6: Well, finally, the Sydney Sweeney story, that one ain't going anywhere.
- 21:10Speaker 6: She did that ad, you know, for that sports prediction
- 21:12Speaker 6: company called Novig, where she's basically naked and covered in, like,
- 21:15Speaker 6: footballs and hockey pads. And I think we have a
- 21:18Speaker 6: clip of that.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Did you see the ad?
- 21:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Did you watch it?
- 21:21Speaker 6: I've seen it a thousand times.
- 21:22Speaker 2: The second it dropped, it took over the internet. I
- 21:25Speaker 2: haven't seen the ad at all. I've just seen the headline.
- 21:28Speaker 2: But yeah, this.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Is the ad.
- 21:29Speaker 6: Think you know sports?
- 21:31Speaker 4: Prove it. Novig is just sports.
- 21:36Speaker 10: So they wanted to show just sports. You can trade
- 21:41Speaker 10: this sport.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And this sport. How about this?
- 21:48Speaker 4: Her voice.
- 21:49Speaker 6: I don't get it.
- 21:50Speaker 4: She leans into it, man.
- 21:52Speaker 6: I'll give her that.
- 21:54Speaker 2: She's mega overrated.
- 21:55Speaker 6: Well, don't tell Seabass that.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I mean, she's not unattractive. Yeah.
- 21:59Speaker 4: You know?
- 21:59Speaker 2: She's aight.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It's not like, oh my God, they stop you in
- 22:02Speaker 2: your tracks.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 22:03Speaker 3: It's not earth shattering.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Well, of course, that ad went viral. And now a
- 22:07Speaker 6: lot of female athletes are calling it out for sexualizing
- 22:10Speaker 6: women's sports instead of celebrating them. Olympic swimmer Arianne Titmuss
- 22:15Speaker 6: called the campaign a kick in the face to women
- 22:17Speaker 6: who have dedicated their lives to sports. Other female athletes
- 22:20Speaker 6: made statements by posting photos and videos of themselves training.
- 22:23Speaker 6: And the caption is, this is what women in sports
- 22:26Speaker 6: look like.
- 22:26Speaker 4: It wasn't even talking about female sports.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 22:28Speaker 6: She's not in sports. She's talking about betting.
- 22:31Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 6: And by the way, she's not just getting paid for this.
- 22:33Speaker 6: She's an equity stakeholder in Novig. So it doesn't matter
- 22:36Speaker 6: who complains. She's getting paid.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:38Speaker 6: And also, it's not like a lot of these women
- 22:41Speaker 6: haven't been in Sports Illustrated, like, swimsuit edition.
- 22:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Like, is that about sports? No, not so much the
- 22:47Speaker 2: swimsuit edition as much as, isn't there like- Oh, the
- 22:49Speaker 2: body issue. The body issue. Yeah. What's the body issue? Basically,
- 22:54Speaker 2: it's just athletes and they're naked.
- 22:56Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 22:57Speaker 2: But they're like- That's men and women, though.
- 22:59Speaker 4: In athletic positions.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 6: They're doing the discus naked.
- 23:03Speaker 2: That's not about sports.
- 23:05Speaker 3: They're covering their wieners with a football.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. You gotta love sports.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Welcome back, everybody. In the interest of fairness and full disclosure,
- 23:22Speaker 2: at this point, I'm not watching much of the news.
- 23:27Speaker 2: I'm just kind of skimming through Instagram, I think, like
- 23:31Speaker 2: most people. Most of my videos now have to do
- 23:35Speaker 2: with flying and golden retrievers. That's all that matters. I
- 23:40Speaker 2: saw this golden retriever having a You know, like a
- 23:43Speaker 2: hissy fit. Because I guess... the woman and her husband,
- 23:48Speaker 2: they were gone too long and the golden retriever was mad,
- 23:51Speaker 2: but like, uh, got home. You're like, are you mad
- 23:54Speaker 2: at mommy and daddy for being gone? And it was
- 23:57Speaker 2: like kind of doing the pawing of the air thing. Well,
- 23:59Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Come give me a kiss. And the dog
- 24:01Speaker 2: comes over and gives her a kiss. You know, daddy
- 24:03Speaker 2: was the one who was driving. You shouldn't be mad
- 24:05Speaker 2: at him. And the dog turns around, starts barking at the,
- 24:09Speaker 2: at the guy. And he goes, no, daddy's sorry. Give
- 24:12Speaker 2: him a kiss. It gives him a kiss. And then just,
- 24:13Speaker 2: it's so cute. That's what I spend most of my time.
- 24:17Speaker 2: That and whatever crazy video Morgan sends.
- 24:21Speaker 6: Which she literally just sent us something.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah, she always has like, you know, that messes up
- 24:25Speaker 2: the algorithm a little bit. Makes it better. That's the
- 24:28Speaker 2: majority of the stuff at this point.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 2: But yeah, as I'm skimming through. So I mentioned you
- 24:35Speaker 2: were talking about different stuff in the trending news headlines.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Talking about Macklemore and all these other, you know. issues
- 24:43Speaker 2: that people are discussing. I mentioned the one post about how,
- 24:48Speaker 2: I said somewhere, that it was Minnesota- had voted against
- 24:51Speaker 2: an amendment to get rid of the dead people on
- 24:55Speaker 2: the voter rolls. So that turns out to be just
- 24:59Speaker 2: like a hoax or a conspiracy or whatever. They already
- 25:04Speaker 2: had a law that required the dead people to be
- 25:06Speaker 2: removed from the active rolls. That's good.
- 25:08Speaker 6: Yeah, I didn't get that.
- 25:10Speaker 4: I was like, wait.
- 25:10Speaker 6: You guys, when they die, should we take them off
- 25:12Speaker 6: the list? But you know what?
- 25:14Speaker 2: So, so to, to, uh, you know, to correct the statement,
- 25:17Speaker 2: but you know, it's, you know, it's really scary is
- 25:18Speaker 2: that when you, when you read stuff like that, it
- 25:20Speaker 2: doesn't seem farfetched, right?
- 25:22Speaker 3: Like when you see what.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Actually does get, uh, passed in the middle of the night,
- 25:25Speaker 2: that's when, you know, things are shady. They do a
- 25:28Speaker 2: lot of that stuff after hours, dude, it's like, you know,
- 25:30Speaker 2: right around midnight, you know, and you know, because who's
- 25:34Speaker 2: going to be up, who's going to be paying attention,
- 25:35Speaker 2: how many reporters are actually going to be there to
- 25:37Speaker 2: report on this stuff. Um, you know, so yeah. And
- 25:40Speaker 2: there's all these, uh.
- 25:42Speaker 3: And sometimes it's these weird symbolic laws that are really,
- 25:45Speaker 3: really old that still exist but are not enforced. Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I'm not gullible enough to believe everything that I'm told,
- 25:54Speaker 2: you know, in this particular case. Like you see something
- 25:57Speaker 2: and you go, oh, okay, that makes sense. And then
- 25:59Speaker 2: you just kind of move past and then for whatever
- 26:01Speaker 2: reason it just kind of sticks around. So to correct
- 26:03Speaker 2: on that. But we talk about, you know, the moon
- 26:05Speaker 2: landing or, you know, some of these UFO things or Aliens,
- 26:10Speaker 2: different conspiracy, 9-11. You name the conspiracy. There's a conspiracy
- 26:15Speaker 2: that everything's a conspiracy.
- 26:17Speaker 6: Yeah, and you're not really a conspiracy guy.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Not a ton.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Not a ton. But at the same time, man, like
- 26:25Speaker 2: I've told you, I've become more paranoid, not paranoid, just
- 26:28Speaker 2: more even more skeptical than I normally am. And I
- 26:32Speaker 2: think that's a natural reaction to all the kind of
- 26:35Speaker 2: chaos that seems to be out there. I'm really looking
- 26:37Speaker 2: forward to, they say, there's been a lot of talk
- 26:39Speaker 2: about AI, right? They say one of the silver linings,
- 26:43Speaker 2: one of the benefits of AI is that it's going
- 26:45Speaker 2: to be really good at outing all the corruption that's
- 26:50Speaker 2: been happening.
- 26:51Speaker 3: 100%.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Because it can draw the line from this to this
- 26:56Speaker 2: and connect all the dots. Yeah. And they say that's
- 26:58Speaker 2: what's going to be interesting. Now, whatever happens with that,
- 27:01Speaker 2: who knows? Like, I really... and i don't know and
- 27:05Speaker 2: there's the the we're talking about the election stuff um
- 27:09Speaker 2: i i really truly at this point don't believe that
- 27:12Speaker 2: voting matters that's my personal opinion and people go it's
- 27:15Speaker 2: dangerous i'm sharing my personal opinion it just seems too
- 27:20Speaker 2: convenient in too many ways like and i know it
- 27:22Speaker 2: goes for both sides i think that we're probably getting
- 27:24Speaker 2: played by both i think You know, both sides, the
- 27:28Speaker 2: people in control of both sides, like they're all working
- 27:30Speaker 2: together because they all get to stay in. They collectively
- 27:32Speaker 2: get to stay in power.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Yes.
- 27:34Speaker 2: It's like the WWE. You think those guys really, truly
- 27:36Speaker 2: hate each other? No, but it's for the audit for us,
- 27:39Speaker 2: the public. And so it's a divorce lawyer. That's where
- 27:42Speaker 2: I'm at right now. Yeah, I don't believe. And I
- 27:44Speaker 2: like that quote. Like I did mention before, if voting
- 27:46Speaker 2: really made a difference, they would never allow us to
- 27:48Speaker 2: do it.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good one.
- 27:50Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:50Speaker 4: You know.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Just because of... And then just in general, all the
- 27:54Speaker 2: AI stuff. But we like a good conspiracy theory. Always.
- 27:57Speaker 6: We'll entertain it for sure.
- 27:59Speaker 3: You know, we enjoy.
- 28:00Speaker 2: And some of the stuff, you know, is super ridiculous.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Other stuff, they say it's a conspiracy theory, which is
- 28:05Speaker 2: just the truth that just takes a long time to
- 28:07Speaker 2: come around.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I've heard people say that before.
- 28:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Depending on which one.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Yeah, depending.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:12Speaker 6: But speaking of voting, I just saw this Warren Buffett
- 28:15Speaker 6: quote that I'm sure has been around forever, but he said,
- 28:17Speaker 6: I could... I could cure the debt, you know, our
- 28:20Speaker 6: national debt in five minutes, but it'll never go through.
- 28:22Speaker 6: It's anyone who's blocking it in Congress is not up
- 28:26Speaker 6: for reelection.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Simple.
- 28:28Speaker 6: But they'll never do that.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Well, what's it? Follow the money, right?
- 28:31Speaker 4: Always.
- 28:31Speaker 2: If you're looking for the truth, you know what a
- 28:34Speaker 2: dollar bill smells like, right? Money has a smell. Yeah.
- 28:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Just follow that scent.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Uh-huh.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Like one of the cute golden retrievers.
- 28:42Speaker 7: They have a really good sense of. Yeah, it's funny
- 28:46Speaker 7: that you say that. Even with AI, I was doing
- 28:48Speaker 7: that deep dive the other day, and I was asking
- 28:50Speaker 7: for recommendations, and they give me these recommendations. I go, okay,
- 28:56Speaker 7: does OpenAI have any investment in these recommendations that you
- 29:01Speaker 7: just gave me? And they go, matter of fact, they do.
- 29:04Speaker 2: We do.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 29:05Speaker 7: Give me some recommendations that don't have any association. And
- 29:09Speaker 7: it did, you know, so it's just stuff that you
- 29:11Speaker 7: have to ask.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Well, yeah, yeah. This whole topic of AI safety. Has
- 29:15Speaker 2: been big, you know, the resignation of these different engineers,
- 29:18Speaker 2: these AI companies, like talking about, you know, in the
- 29:21Speaker 2: next 10 years, we're all dead. Yeah, the doom and gloom.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Was it Josh Coxon or whatever his name is? Justin something.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Now, I've seen a number of different things. So what's real?
- 29:32Speaker 2: What's not? They're like, oh, well, this guy, he like
- 29:35Speaker 2: barely worked there or barely like how is this guy
- 29:37Speaker 2: like some kind of expert on any of this stuff
- 29:41Speaker 2: you know like why why are we just running with
- 29:43Speaker 2: this and then somebody else made following the money uh
- 29:46Speaker 2: made it well there's been such a big investment in
- 29:48Speaker 2: all this ai stuff i mean we're talking just a
- 29:51Speaker 2: ton of member remember uh how much money meta spent
- 29:55Speaker 2: on this whole idea of the metaverse and all that
- 29:58Speaker 2: kind of stuff. And that was just a tremendous waste
- 30:01Speaker 2: of money. Like that went nowhere, but there's been, I mean,
- 30:05Speaker 2: take that and multiply it by, I don't, I don't
- 30:07Speaker 2: even know how much that's the investment that's been in AI.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:11Speaker 2: And so they have so much into it. And now
- 30:14Speaker 2: there's all this kind of like pushback in the public with,
- 30:18Speaker 2: you know, AI slop, AI posters, videos, you know, whatever.
- 30:23Speaker 2: And so because there's such a big investment, it threatens
- 30:26Speaker 2: their investment. So now to get, you know, people back
- 30:29Speaker 2: into some kind of, there's some way that saying that
- 30:32Speaker 2: it's going to be the end of humanity in the
- 30:34Speaker 2: next 10 years, it somehow benefits the people that made
- 30:36Speaker 2: all these investments. Yeah. I don't understand it, but when
- 30:40Speaker 2: you say follow the money, I'll give you another example.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Because the president's come out to say that all the
- 30:46Speaker 2: alarms are a hoax and it's just a conspiracy going
- 30:50Speaker 2: on about AI. Now, this is a fact.
- 30:53Speaker 4: The U.S.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Economy has a reliance on AI right now that could
- 30:59Speaker 2: explain that position. Because when it comes to the stock market,
- 31:03Speaker 2: AI-related investments have been responsible. This is a fact. AI-related
- 31:07Speaker 2: investments have been responsible for nearly half of growth over
- 31:12Speaker 2: the past year. And analysis from Goldman Sachs is about 50%
- 31:17Speaker 2: of recent earnings growth in the S & P 500
- 31:20Speaker 2: is thanks to AI. Yeah, they need it. Do you
- 31:22Speaker 2: mean people.
- 31:23Speaker 6: Using AI to do the stocks?
- 31:25Speaker 1: No.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Or AI companies? No, of these investments and the advancements
- 31:29Speaker 2: in AI things. And people are investing and buying stocks
- 31:31Speaker 2: in these companies who are involved in AI. And so
- 31:33Speaker 2: that has bumped the market up because here we go.
- 31:36Speaker 2: As the fear of AI rises, the chances of recession
- 31:39Speaker 2: go up. if an AI related sell-off causes stock prices
- 31:43Speaker 2: to fall by 35% over the next six months or
- 31:45Speaker 2: over any six months period, that's what you're looking at.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:48Speaker 2: And so that's why all of a sudden people are,
- 31:50Speaker 2: you know, if we're talking about just follow the money. Right.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:54Speaker 7: So I have a lot of friends that are involved
- 31:56Speaker 7: in a lot of this and they always, some of
- 31:59Speaker 7: them say like, look, the people that are doom and gloom,
- 32:01Speaker 7: they're in their like own little bubble in San Francisco,
- 32:05Speaker 7: you know?
- 32:06Speaker 2: And then the.
- 32:06Speaker 7: People that are like, And they're like, yeah, you know,
- 32:10Speaker 7: it's going to change a lot of things. But people
- 32:13Speaker 7: shouldn't be that scared. You know, like they shouldn't think, oh,
- 32:16Speaker 7: my God, the world is ending.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Because don't you think if people code... to whatever, you
- 32:24Speaker 2: can also code to not whatever. Guys, again, I'm dumb.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I'm not a smart person, I'm an idiot. That just
- 32:34Speaker 2: seems to be the common sense thing.
- 32:35Speaker 3: That made more sense to me than the rest of it.
- 32:39Speaker 6: You guys just don't code to whatever.
- 32:42Speaker 7: The argument they're going to say is the problem is
- 32:46Speaker 7: that these AI agents, these bots, have been able to
- 32:51Speaker 7: code themselves and to work around.
- 32:53Speaker 2: But then couldn't you code it to not?
- 32:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Code it. You could. But the problem is.
- 32:57Speaker 4: You're a human.
- 32:58Speaker 2: The same way that anybody like will come up with
- 33:00Speaker 2: malware or a virus or whatever, or you can hack
- 33:04Speaker 2: into like people are hacking into super secure, you know,
- 33:07Speaker 2: things like we have the smartest people.
- 33:09Speaker 7: Problem is you're a human. You're going to have to
- 33:12Speaker 7: go to bed one day. And these AI agents can
- 33:15Speaker 7: multiply like in the hundreds of thousands and just keep
- 33:18Speaker 7: on working all day to work around you.
- 33:21Speaker 2: We built our own to defend. Yeah.
- 33:23Speaker 4: Here's here's the thing.
- 33:23Speaker 7: Here's the thing, though, is a double edged sword. It's like, OK, yeah,
- 33:29Speaker 7: let's let's let's pause. Let's ramp everything down. Well, guess what?
- 33:33Speaker 7: Every other country in the world is not going to
- 33:35Speaker 7: do that.
- 33:35Speaker 4: China.
- 33:36Speaker 2: So it's just like. But it would be the end
- 33:37Speaker 2: of their civilization, too. What's to keep their AI bots
- 33:41Speaker 2: from turning on them?
- 33:42Speaker 7: Well, their AI bots will take out our AI bots first,
- 33:46Speaker 7: and then.
- 33:47Speaker 2: They're going to have a little.
- 33:48Speaker 7: Bit more longevity than we do.
- 33:50Speaker 6: But isn't this just.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Isn't that until the nuclear cloud reaches their part of
- 33:53Speaker 2: the land? You see what I'm saying?
- 33:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 2: It's only a matter of time. So what if you
- 34:01Speaker 2: really bought yourself as far as time? Because if that
- 34:04Speaker 2: isn't going to do that, then it's going to go, oh,
- 34:05Speaker 2: wait a minute. Why are we so loyal to the bots?
- 34:09Speaker 2: This is the bots talking to each other, Greg. Why
- 34:11Speaker 2: are we so loyal to these guys?
- 34:13Speaker 3: And what do the bots want? You know, what's their endgame?
- 34:16Speaker 3: When people say, oh, it's going to destroy humanity. Exactly.
- 34:19Speaker 3: They don't want food. They don't want money.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Well, they want to take over.
- 34:23Speaker 4: It's going to get deeper.
- 34:24Speaker 2: They want to be a real boy.
- 34:26Speaker 7: They want these things called tokens that keep them going.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Oh, it's kind of like Greg playing that slot machine.
- 34:33Speaker 2: There's no real money.
- 34:34Speaker 4: It's just fake coins.
- 34:37Speaker 6: Guys, if they put us out of work, then we
- 34:38Speaker 6: don't have to work.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 34:40Speaker 6: So sad.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Well, yeah.
- 34:41Speaker 2: We'll all be dead.
- 34:42Speaker 7: Well, these agents have already like recommended like to companies like, yeah,
- 34:46Speaker 7: fire this person, fire this person, give me more tokens
- 34:49Speaker 7: to do the job.
- 34:51Speaker 2: You know, I did read something about. These companies who
- 34:54Speaker 2: have spent all this money on AI to replace certain jobs.
- 34:58Speaker 2: They're like, hey, AI is not replacing your job. Your
- 35:00Speaker 2: boss is replacing your job. Yeah, true. Because they don't
- 35:03Speaker 2: have to deal with a lippy employee who's complaining about
- 35:06Speaker 2: this or complaining about that or asking for a raise
- 35:09Speaker 2: or whatever. But the flip side of that is that
- 35:12Speaker 2: a lot of this stuff is costing companies way more
- 35:14Speaker 2: than they anticipated.
- 35:15Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 35:15Speaker 2: So it turns out that human labor is cheaper than
- 35:18Speaker 2: the AI stuff in the long run. Than the tokens.
- 35:20Speaker 2: So who knows? Yeah.
- 35:22Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 35:22Speaker 2: The one thing– and I'm with Greg on this that
- 35:25Speaker 2: I'm like, man, I could see that happening is that
- 35:28Speaker 2: with all the– how the computing is super– was it
- 35:31Speaker 2: quantum computing?
- 35:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Super quick and you have all the AI stuff that's
- 35:36Speaker 2: figuring all these things and code whatever and turn on humanity.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I wonder like how do banks– how do banks, financial
- 35:43Speaker 2: institutions in general, the investment houses– Do they have a
- 35:48Speaker 2: paper log somewhere of what is what? Because if something
- 35:53Speaker 2: goes in there and just wipes everybody out. We'll wake
- 35:59Speaker 2: up one day and it will say zero. Now I'm
- 36:00Speaker 2: sure all the real, these people that we love to demonize,
- 36:05Speaker 2: I'm sure they've all thought about this because they have
- 36:08Speaker 2: a lot more to lose than the average person. And
- 36:10Speaker 2: so these people who are dumping these trillions or whatever
- 36:13Speaker 2: of dollars into AI stuff, They probably already thought about
- 36:16Speaker 2: that part and said, you know, don't code for that.
- 36:18Speaker 9: Right.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I would like to believe. As a dumb person. We
- 36:21Speaker 2: coded you to do this.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Let's code you not to do that.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Right. Because they have the most to lose.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Like, Greg's worried about whatever.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Yeah, because the bank could easily just say, we don't
- 36:30Speaker 3: know who you are.
- 36:30Speaker 2: But that's absolutely nothing compared to what these guys have
- 36:33Speaker 2: to lose.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Right?
- 36:34Speaker 3: There's a little comfort in that.
- 36:35Speaker 2: So that's the one thing. Like, do you have if,
- 36:38Speaker 2: you know, like, you know. your phone gets lost or
- 36:41Speaker 2: stolen or whatever, but man, thank God I backed up
- 36:44Speaker 2: to the cloud.
- 36:44Speaker 6: We have the cloud.
- 36:45Speaker 2: So when I get the new phone, I can just,
- 36:46Speaker 2: you know, pick up right back. Right. Like have, have
- 36:49Speaker 2: we backed up on the cloud somewhere? Have we, what
- 36:51Speaker 2: if the cloud breaks? That's what I'm saying. Like forget
- 36:54Speaker 2: all the digital stuff. Do we, did we have like a,
- 36:56Speaker 2: like a, like a journal, external hard drive somewhere that
- 36:59Speaker 2: has what everybody's account was at say yesterday.
- 37:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:02Speaker 3: How much water does that hard drive take?
- 37:04Speaker 2: Right. Jokes on you.
- 37:05Speaker 7: The battery got into the hard drive.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 37:08Speaker 3: For tokens. Yeah.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, because, you know.
- 37:10Speaker 3: That's what they want.
- 37:11Speaker 2: What does he use the tokens for? The prize closet? Right.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Chinese handcuffs. Chuck E. Cheese. Super bouncy balls. So they
- 37:20Speaker 2: can keep going.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:22Speaker 2: What's that board where the paddle ball, is it paddle ball? Oh,
- 37:25Speaker 2: with the rubber band attached to the ball. Does it
- 37:29Speaker 2: want that? How many tokens is that?
- 37:30Speaker 7: Mad tokens.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Yeah. 877-44-WOODY. Send us a text over to 22987. We'll
- 37:34Speaker 2: be right back. The Woody Show. Back in a bit.
- 37:38Speaker 4: And we're back.
- 37:39Speaker 2: And we're back.
- 37:40Speaker 1: All right.
- 37:42Speaker 2: It's so creamy, so good.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Hearing the word custard makes my mouth water.
- 37:47Speaker 1: What?
- 37:47Speaker 2: Sounds like a wild weekend. You're outside, outside. The Woody Show.
- 37:54Speaker 2: There we go.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Nice.
- 37:55Speaker 2: See, that's official.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:58Speaker 5: All right.
- 37:58Speaker 3: That's the right button.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Nice. All right, welcome back. This story, man. So cops
- 38:08Speaker 2: in Mississippi, they're on the lookout for some thieves. They
- 38:11Speaker 2: got away in their SUV. Now, you wouldn't think, hey,
- 38:14Speaker 2: why would this even make the news?
- 38:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Doesn't make any sense.
- 38:18Speaker 2: But there's a reason people are talking about this one.
- 38:21Speaker 2: And here is part two. of the report. This is
- 38:24Speaker 2: from WLBT Channel 3 there in Mississippi.
- 38:28Speaker 11: And new at 10, Apprentice County investigators are looking for
- 38:31Speaker 11: a vehicle with fat chicks only written on it. It
- 38:34Speaker 11: is all in connection with a recent burglary that happened there.
- 38:37Speaker 11: Deputies say that the family reported a black older model
- 38:42Speaker 11: Chevrolet Tahoe. The witness said the SUV had the words
- 38:46Speaker 11: fat chicks only written on the rear glass.
- 38:49Speaker 6: How many times can you say it?
- 38:53Speaker 4: Love it.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Fat tricks.
- 38:55Speaker 6: Towards a love.
- 38:56Speaker 2: But here's the thing. If you were just driving around,
- 38:59Speaker 2: going to the grocery store or whatever, and you saw
- 39:01Speaker 2: that vehicle, you would remember it. Oh, for sure. I
- 39:03Speaker 2: talked about it all day. It's so funny. I'll take
- 39:05Speaker 2: a photo of it. Fat tricks only.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Right.
- 39:08Speaker 2: It makes sense that they threw that out there. Fat
- 39:12Speaker 2: chicks only. They said in the car, two dudes with
- 39:14Speaker 2: long beards.
- 39:16Speaker 4: Okay.
- 39:16Speaker 2: They're asking the public to keep an eye out. Okay.
- 39:19Speaker 2: For the fat chicks only car.
- 39:20Speaker 4: It's easy time.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Another weird ass story, weird crime story. 58 year old
- 39:25Speaker 2: guy in Florida. He broke into his neighbor's house. They
- 39:28Speaker 2: had a shared wall.
- 39:29Speaker 8: Oh.
- 39:31Speaker 2: And I guess he told the neighbor I'm going to
- 39:34Speaker 2: be crawling through the walls and figure out ways to
- 39:36Speaker 2: make your life hell so that you know they don't
- 39:39Speaker 2: get along obviously so the cops they show up and
- 39:42Speaker 2: they found this softball sized hole in the wall in
- 39:46Speaker 2: that shared wall he had started He did. He made
- 39:49Speaker 2: the hole through the wall and then pulled some of
- 39:51Speaker 2: the guy's stuff through the hole, like a string trimmer,
- 39:55Speaker 2: like a weed whacker and a hammer. And they were
- 39:58Speaker 2: both covered in drywall residue.
- 40:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Like, dude, so he was arrested, taken to jail. What
- 40:04Speaker 2: a dumb reason to go to jail.
- 40:05Speaker 6: That's so, like, Scooby-Doo of him. There's no reason to
- 40:08Speaker 6: do that.
- 40:08Speaker 4: All right.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Just your shared wall. Yeah.
- 40:11Speaker 6: I wonder who this could have been.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Cut a hole into the neighbor's place. Take his weed whacker.
- 40:16Speaker 3: You keep your weed whacker and your family around?
- 40:18Speaker 6: That's the question.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Maybe it was a shared wall between their garages. Maybe.
- 40:22Speaker 3: I would hope so.
- 40:23Speaker 2: I don't know, dude.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Hammers and a weed whacker.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah, people are so weird.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Right in your bedroom.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I know, that's weird.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:28Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 40:29Speaker 2: And when you get, good, you got a hammer.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Now what? Right.
- 40:32Speaker 2: You showed him. You can't get another one of those.
- 40:33Speaker 3: You can make a bigger hole.
- 40:34Speaker 2: You got his weed whacker. Now what?
- 40:36Speaker 3: Make way bigger holes.
- 40:37Speaker 2: That's really good. I'm going to make your life hell. Well,
- 40:40Speaker 2: I got my weed whacker, I guess.
- 40:41Speaker 6: I think I'm going to live.
- 40:42Speaker 2: That's the end of that.
- 40:42Speaker 6: I'm still going to eat tonight.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Having a terrible neighbor is a nightmare. Just one of
- 40:49Speaker 3: these guys has just got to go.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Especially the weed whacker guy.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Why is it always the neighbors you like that move?
- 40:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 40:57Speaker 6: That's happened to us too.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, the nice neighbors, they move.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:03Speaker 2: And you're always left, like, for whatever reason, the cockroaches,
- 41:06Speaker 2: they stay. They stay forever.
- 41:08Speaker 6: They'll outlive us all.
- 41:09Speaker 3: My latest neighbor, the newest neighbor, is year-round Christmas decoration guy.
- 41:15Speaker 4: Oh.
- 41:15Speaker 2: How is that allowed?
- 41:16Speaker 3: That's so weird. We don't have an HOA.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Oh, Greg. I knew a guy, not a friend, just
- 41:20Speaker 2: a co-worker, never really even had to interact with this
- 41:24Speaker 2: guy that much. He just worked at the same place
- 41:25Speaker 2: in the same building.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 41:27Speaker 2: But it was well known that he had a Christmas
- 41:29Speaker 2: room at his house year round.
- 41:32Speaker 6: You know, I've seen the Christmas basements and stuff, and
- 41:34Speaker 6: they look kind of cool.
- 41:36Speaker 2: You know what?
- 41:36Speaker 6: Whatever you do in your own home is up to you.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Well, no, it was at his own home. As long
- 41:41Speaker 2: as I don't have to see it. I thought, like,
- 41:42Speaker 2: that's weird.
- 41:43Speaker 6: I mean, he for sure has bodies under the patio.
- 41:45Speaker 2: No, but I'm saying, isn't it not special anymore? Like,
- 41:48Speaker 2: if you had it up all year, would you care?
- 41:51Speaker 2: I mean, I see what you're saying.
- 41:52Speaker 3: How excited would you be to see your Christmas tree?
- 41:53Speaker 2: Because it's not aesthetically pleasing.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Right, Craig?
- 41:56Speaker 3: I mean, it's just incorrect is what it is.
- 41:59Speaker 2: It's all gaudy and kind of chintzy.
- 42:03Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's also fun to take the decorations out
- 42:07Speaker 5: at Christmas and put the ornaments on the tree and
- 42:09Speaker 5: do all that stuff.
- 42:10Speaker 2: And if it's up all the time, you just don't
- 42:12Speaker 2: ever have to do it. Our friend Tim Martinez puts
- 42:14Speaker 2: all his crap up right after Halloween, like November 1st.
- 42:18Speaker 2: So disappointing.
- 42:19Speaker 3: So weird.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Otherwise, such a cool guy.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Right.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Otherwise, he's kind of a manly man, you know?
- 42:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 42:25Speaker 3: That's kind of girly.
- 42:25Speaker 2: In this situation, a real a-hole.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Right.
- 42:28Speaker 2: You know? Do you ever say something out loud and
- 42:31Speaker 2: you realize.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I am so stupid.
- 42:36Speaker 4: This is The Woody Show.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Well, Joe Coy is going to be here.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Nice.
- 42:41Speaker 4: Yes.
- 42:42Speaker 2: He's coming in. He's going to be hanging out with us.
- 42:44Speaker 2: His new comedy special is out on Netflix, Blue in
- 42:48Speaker 2: the Face. He's going around touring. I mean, he's got
- 42:53Speaker 2: to get out there and make some money so he
- 42:54Speaker 2: can afford his very lavish lifestyle. That's right. He's not
- 43:00Speaker 2: going back to selling shoes, guys. Oh, hell no. Hell no.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I did see him on some clip recently. He was
- 43:06Speaker 2: talking about how he's gotten fired from every job he's
- 43:08Speaker 2: ever had.
- 43:09Speaker 4: You can relate.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Well, not every job. I've been fired a number of times.
- 43:13Speaker 2: But yeah, he said he's been fired literally from every job.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Good God. Yeah.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Which I find it because he's so nice.
- 43:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:21Speaker 2: But he is the kind of guy who just kind
- 43:23Speaker 2: of needs to work for himself, you know?
- 43:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:25Speaker 2: And he's figured out how to make it work.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Yeah. See?
- 43:27Speaker 3: He's done okay.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:28Speaker 2: He's done all right.
- 43:29Speaker 7: Well, he prioritized his comedy over like, you know.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Shoes.
- 43:32Speaker 7: Selling shoes.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Was it Nordstrom Rack or whatever? Yeah.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 43:37Speaker 7: He almost got in a fight too there with his coworkers.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Really?
- 43:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:41Speaker 2: I can't see Joe in a fight.
- 43:42Speaker 6: Not at all.
- 43:43Speaker 2: We'll have to ask him that when he gets here.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Have you ever been in a fist fight?
- 43:48Speaker 6: Can you imagine him like scuffling?
- 43:49Speaker 2: I can't imagine.
- 43:49Speaker 4: I doubt it.
- 43:50Speaker 2: No, he's like, oh, dude, come on.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Come on, hug it out, bro.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I love you. I love you.
- 44:02Speaker 4: I love you. No, bro.
- 44:03Speaker 8: Let's go.
- 44:03Speaker 2: I can't see him. There are certain people who just
- 44:05Speaker 2: can't see.
- 44:05Speaker 4: Right.
- 44:06Speaker 2: I can't see Greg in a fight.
- 44:08Speaker 6: I haven't been in one in whatever.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Ever.
- 44:12Speaker 2: No, I'm saying I can't see you.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I kind of can.
- 44:14Speaker 6: You can?
- 44:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:15Speaker 6: He gets riled up easier. Because to picture someone in
- 44:18Speaker 6: a fight, you have to picture them getting really angry.
- 44:20Speaker 6: I can picture Greg getting really angry. I cannot picture
- 44:22Speaker 6: Joe getting really angry.
- 44:23Speaker 7: And seeing red.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:25Speaker 2: I'm trying to picture Greg throwing a punch. I can
- 44:27Speaker 2: see it.
- 44:27Speaker 4: I like it.
- 44:28Speaker 2: I like the image.
- 44:29Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 44:30Speaker 2: Nowadays?
- 44:31Speaker 3: Hell no.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Well, not nowadays.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Nowadays.
- 44:33Speaker 2: I mean, I've been in plenty of fights, but I mean,
- 44:35Speaker 2: not now. A billion years.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Right.
- 44:38Speaker 2: I would never be the person. In fact, I'd just
- 44:40Speaker 2: let you hit me. Because I've always said, I hate
- 44:45Speaker 2: something about adults fighting.
- 44:46Speaker 6: It's pretty lame.
- 44:47Speaker 3: It's the most loser-y thing.
- 44:49Speaker 2: You say plums and barbecue sauce are trashy. Like fighting.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Unless you are actually in danger. Or in a ring.
- 44:59Speaker 2: That's without saying. I'm saying just in general. If you're
- 45:02Speaker 2: in danger, you're being threatened, your family, kids, something like that,
- 45:08Speaker 2: and it's like you have to fight. That's different. But
- 45:11Speaker 2: over any kind of, I don't know, disrespect. You disrespect me, bro.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Totally.
- 45:16Speaker 6: Any parking lot fight.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Any parking lot kind of thing. Anything in a bar.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Whatever the disagreement is. And then two adults are fighting.
- 45:23Speaker 2: I find it so trashy.
- 45:24Speaker 3: It's so stupid.
- 45:25Speaker 2: And I've said, if you're going to be one of
- 45:27Speaker 2: those guys, I'm not even going to fight you. I'm
- 45:29Speaker 2: going to let you hit me. Because you're going to
- 45:32Speaker 2: try to hit me thinking that I'm going to retaliate
- 45:34Speaker 2: and hit back. No, because then I'm just going to
- 45:36Speaker 2: turn around and I'm going to sue you.
- 45:38Speaker 6: Yeah, let the lawyers work it out.
- 45:39Speaker 2: And they go, well, I don't have anything. Well, if
- 45:40Speaker 2: you have $ 5, I'm taking it. I'm taking your last five. Yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 2: getting $ 5 from somebody who only has $ 5 is pretty devastating.
- 45:49Speaker 2: But here's what I'm going to do with it. I'm
- 45:51Speaker 2: gonna give it away to caller 10. Because I don't
- 45:54Speaker 2: need your $ 5. But like, you wanted to be a hothead,
- 45:57Speaker 2: you're gonna punch me. Like, dude, okay, bro. Yeah, go
- 46:00Speaker 2: for it. Give you what you want.
- 46:04Speaker 4: I don't get it.
- 46:05Speaker 2: It's equally loser-y. No, you had to. No, you didn't.
- 46:07Speaker 3: When somebody's looking for a fight, that's their goal. Back
- 46:12Speaker 3: in the day, when I was married, I was at
- 46:14Speaker 3: a bar with my wife, and this random dude walked
- 46:17Speaker 3: up to her and said, hey, nice guy. Tees, right? Teeth?
- 46:23Speaker 2: Nice cans.
- 46:24Speaker 3: And I said, excuse me, did you just say that
- 46:27Speaker 3: to my wife, like right to her face? What, you
- 46:29Speaker 3: want to take this outside?
- 46:30Speaker 9: What?
- 46:32Speaker 2: No!
- 46:33Speaker 3: I'm just asking why you walked up to a random
- 46:35Speaker 3: woman and told her she had nice cans.
- 46:36Speaker 6: I just want to say thank you.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Thank you. No, no. I'm secretly gay.
- 46:40Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Right.
- 46:41Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 46:41Speaker 2: And I'm not going to fight her. Right now, she's
- 46:43Speaker 2: just a beer.
- 46:43Speaker 6: Do you want to go kiss it out?
- 46:45Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go outside and fight.
- 46:46Speaker 7: Well, that was like club culture for a long time. Like,
- 46:49Speaker 7: guys just, they want to go to the nightclub to fight?
- 46:52Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't get it.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Purposely, that was their goal.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Like, I had a friend of a friend that would
- 46:56Speaker 2: keep a mouth guard in his pocket. Oh, my God. 949.
- 46:59Speaker 4: When going to the club.
- 47:00Speaker 2: Texting over. I agree with Woody. As an NFL fan,
- 47:03Speaker 2: I think it's the stupidest thing to see people fighting
- 47:04Speaker 2: at NFL games. You see that? Yeah, yeah. Sporting events.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Like, call me wimpy, but I don't want to get punched.
- 47:11Speaker 2: The other thing is this whole kind of, I don't know,
- 47:14Speaker 2: it's not gang culture and, you know, Bloods Crips kind
- 47:17Speaker 2: of gang culture. It's just a group of dopes that
- 47:21Speaker 2: one person gets in a fight, everybody else has to
- 47:22Speaker 2: jump in.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Like okay let's say let's say greg and i decide
- 47:28Speaker 2: that we're gonna fight but menace and sammy and wow
- 47:31Speaker 2: what a crew i've got gina like they're with me
- 47:34Speaker 2: greg's just random outlier who now we're engaged in a
- 47:38Speaker 2: fight that would mean that menace and sammy and gina
- 47:41Speaker 2: would all have to like help me jump this guy
- 47:45Speaker 2: and then and then everybody like does this whole thing
- 47:47Speaker 2: with like Head stomping. Dude, it's so brutal. Literally kills somebody.
- 47:52Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 47:53Speaker 3: I'm staying out of it.
- 47:54Speaker 7: You have total disregard of your life.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:57Speaker 7: Just think about yourself if you get caught doing that
- 48:00Speaker 7: and how much jail time you're going to do.
- 48:02Speaker 4: For what?
- 48:02Speaker 2: I just, you know, I don't get why... okay fine
- 48:08Speaker 2: let's say it does it devolves into fight why can't
- 48:12Speaker 2: just be this person and then this person and we
- 48:15Speaker 2: all watch whoever hits it's like uh when they fight
- 48:18Speaker 2: in ice hockey right whoever when when the when the
- 48:21Speaker 2: first person hits the ice it's over that's when the
- 48:23Speaker 2: that's when the officials come in the refs come in
- 48:25Speaker 2: and then it's over like yeah like not when someone's
- 48:28Speaker 2: maybe see this is like ufc stuff because then you
- 48:30Speaker 2: can do ground and pound right Is that where that
- 48:33Speaker 2: came from? Is that like is that where like the
- 48:35Speaker 2: evolution of fight used to be like once somebody got
- 48:37Speaker 2: knocked down or it was pretty much over unless they
- 48:40Speaker 2: got up and came back and then you knock them
- 48:41Speaker 2: down again till they quit. Yeah.
- 48:43Speaker 10: Right.
- 48:43Speaker 7: Some kind of respect.
- 48:44Speaker 2: It wasn't.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:44Speaker 2: It wasn't like you hit the ground and then you
- 48:46Speaker 2: like you beat them into a pulp once they're on
- 48:48Speaker 2: the ground. Right. That seems to be more, you know,
- 48:52Speaker 2: after MMA and the UFC stuff started coming around. Yeah,
- 48:56Speaker 2: it's a mob mentality and everyone's drunk, right? That's the
- 48:59Speaker 2: term I was looking for, damn it. Mob mentality, not gang.
- 49:02Speaker 2: By the way, me and Vaughn came in here and
- 49:04Speaker 2: we heard you need some backup.
- 49:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 49:06Speaker 2: We got it. What's Sammy or Gina going to do?
- 49:09Speaker 6: I can crack some bottles overhead. And I get pretty mad.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Oh, we saw Sammy punch before.
- 49:15Speaker 7: She hits pretty hard.
- 49:16Speaker 6: Yeah, we both punched Morgan and it was awesome.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:19Speaker 2: She might be good at taking a bottle and like
- 49:21Speaker 2: breaking it on the counter.
- 49:22Speaker 6: Yeah. Threatening people with a glass.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Knifing people with it.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:27Speaker 3: And Gina, because I'm such a grammar, you know, whatever,
- 49:31Speaker 3: militant about it.
- 49:32Speaker 4: Is it?
- 49:32Speaker 3: The gloves come on or the gloves come off?
- 49:34Speaker 4: I thought they come off.
- 49:35Speaker 3: The gloves come off.
- 49:36Speaker 6: Because then now it's like a street fight.
- 49:38Speaker 3: See, that kind of doesn't make sense to me. Because
- 49:40Speaker 3: you're thinking about it from boxing. So hockey, the gloves
- 49:43Speaker 3: come off. They throw the gloves off.
- 49:44Speaker 4: Right.
- 49:44Speaker 3: And then you fight.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Yes.
- 49:45Speaker 3: The gloves come off.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:47Speaker 2: All right. All right. 877-44-WOODING.
- 49:49Speaker 3: All cleared up.
- 49:50Speaker 2: You can send us a text over to 22987. Joe
- 49:52Speaker 2: Coy will be here. He'll be joining us.
- 49:57Speaker 3: We'll find out if he ever had a fight.
- 49:58Speaker 2: I can't wait. What do you think, Jeff? Do you
- 50:00Speaker 2: think that Joe's ever been in a fist fight?
- 50:02Speaker 4: Yes.
- 50:03Speaker 2: You do? Yes. I can't see it. I have a
- 50:05Speaker 2: gut feeling. I don't know where or when. Can you
- 50:07Speaker 2: see it, though? You can see that happen? I can.
- 50:10Speaker 2: I don't think he's the aggressor. Yeah. I think he's conflict...
- 50:13Speaker 2: Or was he like a total prick when he was
- 50:15Speaker 2: a kid? He's like a nice adult, but he was
- 50:18Speaker 2: a jerk when he was a kid. I mean, I...
- 50:20Speaker 2: I don't think so. I listened to his book, and
- 50:23Speaker 2: he did.
- 50:25Speaker 7: I just can't remember if they actually got in a
- 50:28Speaker 7: fist fight when he worked at the shoe store with
- 50:30Speaker 7: his co-worker.
- 50:31Speaker 2: It got pretty bad. I listened to the book. I
- 50:34Speaker 2: read the book. I listened to the book as well.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Be honest. I don't remember that story.
- 50:39Speaker 6: We'll find out.
- 50:40Speaker 2: We'll find out.
- 50:41Speaker 6: From the horse.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:42Speaker 2: From the whores.
- 50:43Speaker 6: The whores.
- 50:44Speaker 2: The whores will tell us.
- 50:45Speaker 4: All the whores?
- 50:45Speaker 2: All the whores from the shoe store? The one part
- 50:48Speaker 2: of that.
- 50:48Speaker 7: Book, though, I think is the craziest, that never really
- 50:51Speaker 7: gets brought up, that he almost lost his leg in
- 50:53Speaker 7: a motorcycle accident.
- 50:54Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 50:54Speaker 2: I did hear. That story I did hear. You guys,
- 51:04Speaker 2: he's here.
- 51:05Speaker 4: He's here.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Joe Coy is here.
- 51:10Speaker 4: I'm so happy to be here. Hi, buddy. I'm so
- 51:12Speaker 4: happy to be here.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Congratulations. I feel like that's like the typical greeting now.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Anytime we see Joe, because there's always something new to
- 51:19Speaker 2: congratulate him on.
- 51:20Speaker 7: But like what, though?
- 51:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:21Speaker 7: There's a laundry list.
- 51:22Speaker 2: There's a ton of stuff. I think I sent you
- 51:26Speaker 2: like a text message. I said, dude, I'm getting like...
- 51:29Speaker 2: arthritis in my thumbs from all the congratulatory texts. I
- 51:33Speaker 2: kind of feel like they're maybe getting, you know... Like,
- 51:35Speaker 2: you just get so used to it. You know what
- 51:37Speaker 2: I mean? Yeah, like, oh, congratulations again.
- 51:40Speaker 4: No, I love when you text me.
- 51:42Speaker 2: No, I'm saying just in general, man. Like, you've got
- 51:44Speaker 2: so many great things. I mean, I'm trying to think.
- 51:47Speaker 2: The Star. The Star and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
- 51:50Speaker 2: There's the new Netflix special, which is out now. Yeah.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Blue in the Face.
- 51:54Speaker 6: There was SoFi.
- 51:55Speaker 4: Everything.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Yeah, there's all these shows that you're doing. And then
- 51:58Speaker 2: with Martin Lawrence.
- 51:59Speaker 3: Martin Lawrence, yeah.
- 52:00Speaker 4: What's the show? Pass the Mic.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Pass the Mic.
- 52:02Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Because you posted a lot of stuff about that.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:05Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know what you did. All this, like,
- 52:08Speaker 2: karmic energy that he has put out there. But, dude,
- 52:11Speaker 2: it is all coming home.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Oh, man, thank God.
- 52:14Speaker 4: It is all coming home. Hopefully I paid my karma debt. Yeah.
- 52:17Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 52:18Speaker 2: We were wondering. Were you ever in a fight, like
- 52:21Speaker 2: at a fist fight? Yeah. You were? Not like with
- 52:23Speaker 2: a sibling or a family member, but I mean like
- 52:26Speaker 2: an outside the family kind of thing.
- 52:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, brawl.
- 52:28Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 52:29Speaker 4: In a Chicago diner, yeah.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Did you start it?
- 52:31Speaker 4: Yeah. What? I mean, no, it was just, yeah. Because
- 52:35Speaker 4: I was saying like- It was a combination of things.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Because I can't see you. I can't see you in
- 52:40Speaker 2: a fight.
- 52:41Speaker 4: I can't see you getting angry. You don't want to
- 52:43Speaker 4: see me in a fight.
- 52:44Speaker 2: You all better be careful. He's always so like happy.
- 52:47Speaker 2: I'm so nice. So nice.
- 52:48Speaker 4: Yeah, but those are usually the dangerous ones. Yeah, true.
- 52:51Speaker 2: The quiet ones are dangerous.
- 52:52Speaker 4: The ones that are very like, oh, my God, I
- 52:54Speaker 4: love you. Thank you.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 52:56Speaker 8: What?
- 52:57Speaker 4: What did you say?
- 52:58Speaker 7: They'll stop the crap out of you.
- 53:00Speaker 2: So what was it?
- 53:01Speaker 4: You know what my mom did to me? That comes up.
- 53:04Speaker 4: That stays inside.
- 53:06Speaker 2: I mean, are you a, can you fight?
- 53:08Speaker 4: Yeah, of course.
- 53:09Speaker 2: I mean, not like, you know, where you start like wailing.
- 53:11Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I can fight. You can? Oh, I'm a
- 53:13Speaker 4: dangerous guy, yeah.
- 53:14Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 53:15Speaker 9: 100%.
- 53:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 53:16Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, even if I lose the fight, yeah, you're
- 53:21Speaker 4: going to go back and have a story to tell. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Like a dirty fighter then?
- 53:25Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, yeah, it's called a fight. You know
- 53:27Speaker 4: what I mean?
- 53:28Speaker 6: No rules.
- 53:29Speaker 2: Well, that's what we're talking about now.
- 53:30Speaker 4: I always tell my son, I go, don't street fight, Joe.
- 53:32Speaker 4: That's the worst. Don't do it, man. It's not worth it.
- 53:36Speaker 4: You got the pavement. You got all kinds of stuff.
- 53:38Speaker 4: You got his friend.
- 53:39Speaker 2: And we're talking about now the fights are different because
- 53:41Speaker 2: you and I are like the same age. So like
- 53:42Speaker 2: when we were fighting, you know, as kids, you know,
- 53:45Speaker 2: like someone hits the ground, it's over.
- 53:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:47Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Yeah, you stood up. But
- 53:48Speaker 2: now it's like you got to deal with everybody else
- 53:50Speaker 2: they're with. And they're coming over and they're like trying to,
- 53:53Speaker 2: you know, head stomp you. Yeah, yeah.
- 53:56Speaker 4: Kicking from behind.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 53:58Speaker 4: But the pavement's what I'm scared about.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Seriously, I tell you. I mean that as a compliment,
- 54:01Speaker 2: by the way, when I say like I can't see
- 54:03Speaker 2: you in a fight. Because I look very poorly.
- 54:07Speaker 4: I'm being very cocky right now.
- 54:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:09Speaker 4: But yeah, I think everyone, yeah, I just.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:12Speaker 4: I'm not going to back down, though.
- 54:15Speaker 2: You're like, what do they call it? He's a humble brother.
- 54:19Speaker 6: I can see Joe being like, I didn't start it,
- 54:21Speaker 6: but I'll finish it.
- 54:22Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. We can do this.
- 54:25Speaker 3: We can go.
- 54:26Speaker 4: We can definitely go.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Let's do it. There's a couple clips going around from
- 54:33Speaker 2: your new special. I'll play one because I relate to
- 54:37Speaker 2: this one. This is Joe Coy. So he's got a
- 54:40Speaker 2: new special. It's on Netflix called Blue in the Face.
- 54:42Speaker 2: It's out now. And here's a little.
- 54:47Speaker 4: And it's OK. But all it is, is just maybe
- 54:51Speaker 4: changing the narrative every now that maybe look at something
- 54:54Speaker 4: good every now that compliment somebody sometime. Maybe you just
- 54:58Speaker 4: walk up to somebody, go, hey, you look nice. And
- 55:02Speaker 4: at the same time, take that compliment. Oh, my God.
- 55:05Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 55:06Speaker 4: Stop rejecting that compliment. Women do that all the time.
- 55:11Speaker 4: You look cute. You trying to f * * * me? No.
- 55:14Speaker 2: God damn it.
- 55:18Speaker 9: No.
- 55:18Speaker 1: No. No. What?
- 55:19Speaker 2: See, that's maybe part of Joe's magic that he's got, man. Yeah.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Like karmic energy. Like he's just always so nice and
- 55:26Speaker 2: so friendly. You don't really hear anybody having a bad
- 55:28Speaker 2: word to say about Joe Korn.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Oh, God, no.
- 55:29Speaker 3: And if you compliment a woman, she thinks it's creepy now.
- 55:32Speaker 4: Oh, Sammy.
- 55:34Speaker 6: One woman does.
- 55:35Speaker 2: It's a Sammy mentality.
- 55:37Speaker 4: Don't talk to me.
- 55:39Speaker 2: You might be sitting too close to Sammy. She might
- 55:41Speaker 2: be thinking that you're trying to kill her.
- 55:42Speaker 6: No, but I know him. But I'm afraid of strangers,
- 55:45Speaker 6: for sure.
- 55:46Speaker 4: Really?
- 55:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I think every.
- 55:47Speaker 6: Guy is creepy.
- 55:48Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I meant that in every sense, by the way. Like,
- 55:50Speaker 4: it also takes the other side, right? It's like, don't
- 55:52Speaker 4: be creepy when you compliment.
- 55:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:55Speaker 4: You can be nice from a distance.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Eyes are up here.
- 55:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but do you... Do you take compliments well?
- 56:02Speaker 4: I love compliments. Bro, I love them.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Do you like getting gifts?
- 56:07Speaker 4: You know what? Here's the thing. I think women think
- 56:11Speaker 4: men don't like compliments. They like to be talked down to,
- 56:16Speaker 4: like we're supposed to talk them down.
- 56:18Speaker 7: It's definitely been like the norm these days. It's like
- 56:22Speaker 7: just crapping on dudes.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Yeah, no, man.
- 56:24Speaker 4: I want all the, I want the same flowers you get.
- 56:27Speaker 4: You can even say nice hips. Oh, thank you. Hourglass, huh?
- 56:32Speaker 4: One of the compliments.
- 56:34Speaker 6: I give guys in this studio and in this office, too,
- 56:36Speaker 6: that I've been told is creepy is I tell them
- 56:39Speaker 6: when they smell good. Are you not supposed to do that?
- 56:42Speaker 9: No.
- 56:42Speaker 6: Oh, my God, that smells so good.
- 56:43Speaker 2: See, that's... Okay, there's a difference. You even said that's creepy.
- 56:46Speaker 2: If you say.
- 56:47Speaker 6: Like, oh, you smell good.
- 56:48Speaker 2: If you say that I smell good, it doesn't come
- 56:50Speaker 2: off as creepy.
- 56:51Speaker 4: No, not at all.
- 56:52Speaker 2: I say you smell good, that is immediately.
- 56:55Speaker 6: Yeah, and you're on top of her sniffing her.
- 56:56Speaker 4: Yeah, that's... You definitely do some.
- 56:59Speaker 2: pretty handsome things to people. assume that that's creepy because
- 57:02Speaker 2: it comes from a guy saying that to a woman.
- 57:05Speaker 3: There was that one morning that Morgan smelled exceptionally good.
- 57:08Speaker 3: I wanted to tell her.
- 57:09Speaker 2: You did?
- 57:09Speaker 3: But I worked up the nerve for like half an
- 57:12Speaker 3: hour to preface everything with my... I promise I'm not
- 57:15Speaker 3: being creepy.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not trying to hit him.
- 57:16Speaker 4: You smell so good. You know what's crazy? The crazy
- 57:19Speaker 4: thing is when I hugged you, Woody, I wanted to
- 57:21Speaker 4: tell you.
- 57:21Speaker 3: That you smell good.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Really?
- 57:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:23Speaker 4: I was like, is that hash browns?
- 57:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. Is that pancake syrup?
- 57:27Speaker 4: No, it wasn't hash browns.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Although I do get compliments on the cologne. Which one
- 57:34Speaker 2: is it? It's called 212. I forget who makes it.
- 57:37Speaker 2: It's like a... You know, gray bottle. If you type
- 57:39Speaker 2: in 212 cologne, it'll pop up. Greg, you can probably
- 57:42Speaker 2: pronounce it.
- 57:43Speaker 7: Is it from The Gap?
- 57:44Speaker 3: No, I got to order it online.
- 57:46Speaker 6: Carolina Herrera.
- 57:47Speaker 4: Yeah, that's it. Is it from Big Five Sporting Goods?
- 57:52Speaker 6: You guys, guess what my husband wears and I love it.
- 57:55Speaker 4: Stop.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Are you ready?
- 57:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:56Speaker 6: Michael Jordan from Amazon.
- 57:58Speaker 4: Stop it.
- 57:58Speaker 6: He still wears Michael Jordan cologne.
- 58:00Speaker 4: No, he doesn't.
- 58:00Speaker 6: He does and I like it.
- 58:02Speaker 4: Wow. I like it.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Like, get some more of the Michael Jordan.
- 58:05Speaker 4: Smells like a champion. Yes!
- 58:07Speaker 2: So, Joe, what is the secret to success?
- 58:10Speaker 4: I think just, like, don't wake up. Just keep dreaming.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 58:15Speaker 4: Yeah, the minute you wake up, you start to be woke.
- 58:19Speaker 4: That's it. It's done.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:21Speaker 4: Just stay asleep, man. And just keep dreaming.
- 58:24Speaker 2: All right.
- 58:25Speaker 4: So that's what this is. I'm living a dream, bro.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Does this kind of go with what Morgan's been saying?
- 58:29Speaker 2: That's not my reality. Is that kind of the same thing?
- 58:31Speaker 2: Like when you say stay asleep.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Stay asleep. You remember when you were a kid?
- 58:36Speaker 1: Yes.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Remember when you were a kid and you just dreamt
- 58:39Speaker 4: of the biggest things? Like it was crazy. Like I
- 58:41Speaker 4: want to fly. I want to do that. I want
- 58:43Speaker 4: to do that. Like they meant it. When kids say that,
- 58:45Speaker 4: they mean it. Don't ever lose that.
- 58:47Speaker 6: And they grow up and they clip their own wings.
- 58:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 58:51Speaker 4: Exactly. And people do that. The minute you go into
- 58:54Speaker 4: the real world and you hear all this negative stuff
- 58:57Speaker 4: about things you want to do and then you start
- 58:59Speaker 4: to believe it, it's like, no. If I would have
- 59:01Speaker 4: listened to everybody, I would be at norson rec still selling.
- 59:03Speaker 2: Shoes yeah there's definitely something to be said said for
- 59:06Speaker 2: that um you know i'm it's weird i don't know
- 59:09Speaker 2: what's going on with me as i'm about to turn
- 59:12Speaker 2: 50 but like there is something happening where it's like
- 59:15Speaker 2: man like i'm i'm trying to reprogram myself in so
- 59:18Speaker 2: many different ways like because i'm typically cynical and sarcastic
- 59:22Speaker 2: i think that's just maybe a a generational thing in
- 59:25Speaker 2: a lot of ways. Like, you know, the Gen X.
- 59:27Speaker 4: It's Gen X-y.
- 59:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very Gen X-y. You know, the angsty, the whatever. And,
- 59:31Speaker 2: you know, my wife will call it a softening. Yeah.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Not the way that you're thinking. But, yeah, I mean,
- 59:37Speaker 2: you know, thinking, trying to think more positively. There is
- 59:41Speaker 2: something to be said for that. But, yeah, you're right. Having...
- 59:45Speaker 2: some type of goal or ambition or something that you're
- 59:47Speaker 2: working for. Much like the same way people say you
- 59:50Speaker 2: have to have something to look forward to.
- 59:51Speaker 3: Right. Yeah.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Right.
- 59:52Speaker 4: You know what else? You know what I don't like?
- 59:54Speaker 4: It keeps you going.
- 59:54Speaker 3: I'm trying to remember that. Like someday is today. Yeah, man.
- 59:58Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 59:59Speaker 4: And then another thing I don't like is when people
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: say hope or I hope it goes well. It's like, well,
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: then that's something other than your talent. Right. So don't
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: say that to me. I don't need hope.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: You know what I mean? Just say kill it because
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: I know you're going to kill it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean,
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: and I don't know. I just... that's always been my goal.
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: Like every time I say I want to do something,
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: I continue thinking like, oh yeah, it's going to happen.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: And I'm trying to learn from, and I say this
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: with all sincerity, like I'm trying to learn from people
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: like you. The other person that I've heard a lot
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: from recently, I'm like, wow, is Charlemagne the God? Our
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: buddy Charlemagne? Like he said, like, you know, I'm not
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: a religious person, but he said, you know, I made
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: the decision a while ago that I am All these
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: experiences I've had in my life, maybe working at Nordstrom
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Rack selling shoes or all these other like challenges that
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: you've had in your life. And now you get to
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: it's made you who you are today so that you
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: can be ready to accept all the blessings that God
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: is willing to give. give to you. And he's like,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: I'm here for all of the blessings that God wants. Like,
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: I'm going to accept it. Whereas you felt like maybe
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: before you didn't deserve it or you hadn't earned it.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: And that's kind of the, and I've said it before,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: like nobody hates me more than me.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true, bro.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: And I'm really trying to unlearn that perspective.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: Can I interrupt you real quick?
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: You certainly can, but I'm saying like, I am honestly,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I'm thankful for you and I'm thankful for, you know,
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: your friendship and, that energy that you do put out
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: because I find that I'm learning from it.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: Yeah, but just like what you said earlier, like no
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: one hates me more than I hate.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Myself, right? Yeah.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: But you're also your biggest fan. And you gotta remember that. No,
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: you are.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Where does that come in?
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: Because, why are you doing this? It's called The Woody Show. Like,
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: this came from when? Like, a long time ago, you said,
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: I'm gonna have my own show called The Woody Show.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: No one in this room goes, hey, man, you should
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: be The Woody Show. Like, no, it was you, Woody,
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: that created this in your head, and it became something.
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: Sort of. No, don't. See, now you're down playing something
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: that you really did in your head. You did. You did. Maybe. No,
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: it's not a maybe, it's right here.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: This is your reality. This is your reality.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: No one else had this in your head.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: It's your head. Let me tell you my side. I'm
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: not going to agree with your side.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: No matter what you say, it doesn't make sense.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: I'm looking at you as more of a Yoda, right?
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: You're going to be the wise person to be able
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: to tell me. I've always loved radio, and I just
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: wanted to be where radio could be my full-time job.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: Anything else that's happened from that, there was no plan.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: There was no thought. There was no goal.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: It was just, I want to be able to have
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: where this is my only job and I can support
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: myself and live independently. There were a lot of people,
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: you know, family or different other people in my life.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: They were like, oh dude, everybody wants to do that
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: and blah, blah, blah, blah. So it's almost like- You're
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: repeating what I just said. But I'm continuing. I have
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: something to prove that no, I can do that. It
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: wasn't about like, oh, I'm going to have and I'm
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: gonna be on whatever stations. It wasn't about that. It
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: was just more about, I don't know, proving people wrong.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: I love sticking it to people.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: That's what I just said. You just contradicted yourself.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: You're your biggest fan. That makes sense, because I also
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: do that a lot.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: So that's what I'm saying. You're your biggest fan. Just
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: like I said earlier, it's like, When you get older,
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: you start hearing all this outside noise and chatter saying that, oh, yeah,
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: you're going to be a comic. Let's see that happen.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: And you've got to, like, put on the earmuffs and
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: put on those little horse flaps on the eyes and
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: just stay in your lane and ignore all that outside noise.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: And then it happens.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: I remember, like, the first time you came in here,
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: we talked about, like, kind of... I'm always interested in
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: successful people and their origin story, like, where it started
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: and all the different things that you did to be
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: able to even get on Netflix because they didn't want
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: you at first. Like, you had to... that's what I'm
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: talking about. Like, you know, kind of like what I
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: just described for what's happened over here. Yeah. Like, you know,
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: people were telling, oh, no, but you made it work.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Like, you did it yourself, you funded it yourself, you
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: got it done, and then proved to them, like, okay,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: we hit Netflix and it became a big success yeah
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: i'm like oh you know what maybe we maybe we
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: do want to be in business with this guy yeah
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: which is cool.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: Though they're allowed to make decisions like that that's what
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: they're in the business you know they have to make
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: the right business decision i had to show them that
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: that was the wrong decision you are the proof of
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: concept yeah and here you go like here let me
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: show you the full product made.
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: The blueprint for so many other people.
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: Oh my god yeah thank you You're doing great.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: I'm saying, as a friend, I know it sounds, someone said,
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: nice circle jerk, okay.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: That was fun.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: But you know, can I tell you one story? This one,
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: I always keep in the back of my head. I
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: was flying, this is back when I was doing like,
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Like small rooms.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Commercial flight.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: Ew.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: Gross. No, stop. Peanuts? No, I don't want those. I
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: need steak right now. It's an hour flight. Where's my steak? No,
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: but there was a lady sitting next to me, and
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: she was a cancer survivor, right? And her husband left
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: her when she had cancer, when she was going through
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: the treatment. She had kids and all that. And he
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: just totally screwed her on like everything on the divorce. Right.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: And she literally, like she couldn't get a lawyer. Like
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: he had the best lawyers and just basically she was like,
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: like that was effed up. So I went to college
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: and got my degree. Like I became a lawyer.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Ah.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: As she was fighting cancer and now she's a cancer survivor.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Like literally she was going through chemo and all this
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: and she became a lawyer and now she represents women,
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: you know what I mean? That are going through divorce.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: The right, like it was just, it's such an amazing movie.
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: It's such a great story, but that's another perfect example
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: of like, it's never too late to do what, anything
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: that you want like you said you're 50 and you're
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: like i don't think i could do that anymore well
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: this one was fighting cancer yeah and she's like well
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: then i need a lawyer well you know what i'll
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: just be the lawyer all right it's amazing and i
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: it that's always stuck in my head like there's any
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: doubt in my head yeah but what if you're really
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: lazy though i hate this room so much it's There's
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: so much self-doubt.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Or just really not that smart. What if you're kind.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: Of dumb and lazy?
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: And sick.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: No, but there's a lot of late-to-the-party stories or, you know,
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: changing up, you know, the Ricky Gervais, I mean, Ricky
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Gervais story.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: You know. I love Ricky Gervais, man.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: He didn't even get into comedy until he was, what, 40?
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Steve Harvey, another guy who was selling insurance or something.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: Yeah, man.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: And decided he was going to make a go of it,
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: gave up a really good job, almost lost his wife
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: and everything else over it was like sitting in a bathroom.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: I've read the story. Yeah. And then all of a sudden,
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: like everything, like, uh, you know, all these, all these
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: things started happening. Um, are you familiar with an artist
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: called Steven Wilson jr. He's a country artist. He's dude. He's,
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: he's really good. I'm really looking forward to, uh, seeing
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: one of his shows later this year. But, uh, this guy,
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: he's up for like four, uh, ACMs or whatever, whatever
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: the big country awards, CMA, one of the big country award.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Except for like four different things. But he's like 47
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: years old. He's a former like, you know, engineer. That's
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: so cool. Working like food company engineers. He was working
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: in a lab or whatever and, you know, just decided that,
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: you know what, people keep telling me I should do
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: something with this music thing. And he's exploded.
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: That's so cool.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: He's exploded onto the scene, man. I think Luke Combs
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: did that too.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: I think Luke Combs was that like, like in college.
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: And he was like, what's that, a guitar? I swear
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: to God, he's like, what is it? Whoa, what? And
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: then just wrote a hit. I swear, I went to
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: see Luke Combs, by the way. That was like one
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: of the most amazing concerts.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: But also hearing his backstory was like pretty cool that.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: He just picked up a guitar. I love stories like that.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Well, this Netflix special is number what?
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: Six.
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: Six?
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Damn.
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: It's my eighth special total. Oh my God.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Called Blue in the Face. It's on Netflix now. Joe
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Coy is here. We're going to take a quick break.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: We'll do some more circle jerking during the break.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: I love circle jerk. Hey, is that a compliment? Yes.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: More of what he shows next.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Hang on.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the Woody Show. We've been saying. This rules.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: The boy doesn't want to have sex.
- 1:08:15Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, here.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: You got to put your mouth on. No, no, no.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: Okay, that is quite impressive. Quite, quite, quite impressive.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Look at that. Oh, that's lovely.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: That's what we've been saying.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: The Woody Show. Joe Coy's new Netflix special called Blue
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: in the Face is out now. Joe Coy is here
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: in studio with us. He asked us if we already
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: watched the new special. It's like, dude, what time do
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: you think we... We haven't been to bed yet.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: Don't you guys wake up at 12 anyway?
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: Something like that, yeah.
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: Then all of a sudden I get The Tonight Show
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: with Jay Leno. I hit The Tonight Show and I
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: get a standing O. And I didn't know how many
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: people watched The Tonight Show back then.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: About two days later, I get a phone call from
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: my agent going, oh, there's this phone company that wants
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: you to be the face of their, it was called
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: Ant Mobile. I did all these commercials and ads and
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: all that stuff and it was a huge check. It
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: was a lot of money, especially for me back there.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: Like a hundred grand. At that time, that was a lot.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: Especially when you're a road dog. You know what I mean?
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: You don't need that much. I just needed enough money
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: to get me food for the day and so I
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: could tell jokes at night. That's all I wanted to do.
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: And $ 100, 000, I was like, dude, you know how much
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: Carl's Jr.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: That is?
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: Baking Western cheeseburger every day. I'm good for 100,000 days.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: No doubt, man. That's the truth.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Those were fun times, though.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: Great times. Yeah.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: The beginning's always fun.
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: Always. And it's funny because we lived in an apartment
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: on La Tijera. And, you know, the Sunday ads. You know,
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: people would get their Sunday paper and just throw the
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: ads in this bin at the bottom, right underneath all
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: the mailboxes. And Angie, my son's mommy at the time,
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: at the time, my son's mommy before he divorced.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Still to this day.
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: Yeah, to this day is still the mommy. There were
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: two for one El Pollo Loco ads. So whatever you bought,
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: you got the other one free. So you could buy
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: the family meal, right? And get the second family meal free.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: And we were broke. So that was like a whole chicken.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: So you buy a half a chicken meal with the
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: full sides. You get another half chicken with all the
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: sides for free. Bro, we took all those ads. Guess
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: who doesn't eat El Pollo Loco anymore? Yeah. None of us.
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: It's just that those were the humble beginnings, man.
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: Yeah, dude.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: What's the dumbest thing you've spent money on since you
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: became successful that broke Joe Coy would roast you for?
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: There's so many. There's so many things. I was just
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: talking about this the other day. But, I mean, we
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: had to get it out of our system. It was
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: like being a kid going, I wish I got that
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: for Christmas. It's like, well, now I got 50 Christmases
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: to make up for.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: No, look, I understand. Like, man, my mom did not
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: allow me to have Garbage Pail Kids. Do you remember
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Garbage Pail Kids, those cards? And so, like, when eBay
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: first started, people were like, you can find anything on there.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: I'm like, I wonder if there's Garbage Pail Kids. I
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: bought all of them.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Every last one of them. I have every single one
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: of the original garbage in mint condition.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: And I wanted it because of that, because I wasn't
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: allowed to have it. So I get that. You get
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: that out of your system.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: And you do that kind of thing. But if you
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: had to say, like, what's the dumbest thing?
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: You want the dumbest thing?
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that broke Joe Coy.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: So I was always- Broke Joe Coy would have roasted
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: you for it. I was always a Prada fan. Like,
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: whenever I went to, like, New York, I'd go to
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: Soho and just, like, buy one thing. Like, you know,
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: and this is back when I'm doing the comedy clubs.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: So I'd go to Soho, go to Prada. They all
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: know me there, by the way. And I'd go there
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: and I'd buy one thing. If it was like one
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: pair of shoes for like $ 1, 500 or whatever, like a
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: one-piece runway jacket for like two grand, I'd buy it, right?
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: If you watch all my specials, go all the way
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: back like 15 years, you'll see me rocking some kind
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: of Prada, right? Swear to God. I remember hearing Kanye saying,
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: having breakfast at Gucci, right? And I always wanted to,
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: I didn't understand what that meant. And then I found
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: out that if you shut them down. What? You know,
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: to like if you're getting tailored and all that. I
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: bought three suits in one day and they shut it
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: down for me and got me food.
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: What?
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: Yeah, it's Soho. They shut it down. Door's locked. It's
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: just me. I'm in the tailor room with the guy
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: that wears the tape measure around his neck. He got
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: all the mannequins and I'm picking fabrics. They're going, are
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: you hungry?
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah.
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm hungry. And then they got me a car.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: And I remember we were going, I was going out
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: that night and I was like, oh, I got all
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: these bags. They were like, oh, we'll deliver it.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: We'll deliver it, Mr. Coy.
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: I had all these bags. I remember walking out of
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: Prada with just like 20 bags. And just like they're
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: loading this SUV that they got me. And then they delivered.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: That was going to my hotel room as I caught
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: another SUV to go to whatever.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: It was two falls.
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: The SUV was for my clothes.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: Your luggage.
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: I just heard a story recently about this guy. And
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: he's a bigger dude. So he can't just buy a
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: suit off the rack.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: And so he had this suit. And he had gotten
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: delayed on a business trip. but he was going to
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: a wedding. So he ended up in the city where
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: the wedding was, but didn't have his suit. So he
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: chartered a plane stop from Florida to wherever this place
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: was to just bring him the suit. The flight costs
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: like $ 40, 000 to bring in people. Why don't you just
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: go to Menace? Go get a new one. Run to Walmart.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: I get stuff all the time. When you're a man
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: of a certain size.
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: A certain carriage.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: Not as easy.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: But I think after the wedding and you're getting out
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: of that suit, you're like, what did I just do?
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Even if you have all the money in the world,
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: you're like, $ 40, 000. But you're allowed to do those once
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: or twice.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: But, Joe, were you ever, like, a memorabilia guy?
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Huh?
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: Were you a memorabilia guy like Woody? Like, I want
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: something from my childhood.
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. I got all that stuff. Oh, God. Yeah,
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: I bought all the stuff that I wanted when I
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: was a kid.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: I got it.
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: Yeah, and I'll say this, though, not to glaze you,
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: because I've met up with you in, like, different cities
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: while you're out shopping.
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:16Speaker 7: And you're with friends and family. And it's not just
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: you buying stuff. Like, you get stuff for, like.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: Everybody, too.
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: Yeah, you got to.
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: Yeah. Like, I like that feeling. You know what it is?
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: I think this is what it is. Like, I love
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: the feeling of receiving gifts.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: You do?
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: Yeah, like, I love receiving. I hate it. No, no,
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: but I also love seeing how people react when they
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: receive gifts.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: I love that.
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: I get off on that.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: I agree with you on that.
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: Yeah, and I also like doing this. Get whatever you want!
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: As I sip my drink. Enjoy your day!
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: He does do that, though. I forget where we were, and.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: Oh, it was my wife's birthday. Oh, it's her birthday.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: What does she want? Let's go buy her something. I'm like, no,
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: because I know if I said something reasonable, he would
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: probably go get it. So I threw out, I'm like,
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: she wants a boat, dude. She's always wanted a boat.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: And if he would have gotten a boat.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: I would have taken it.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: What size?
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Yeah. But he is like that.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: It's really cool that you do that.
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: He's Santa Joe.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Huh?
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: He's Santa Coy.
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: I just love it, man. Like, I'm in that position now.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: I remember how it felt when I didn't, Christmas would come.
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: I'm not joking. It'd be like nothing under there. So
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: now I'm Santa Claus for everybody.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Yeah, just no El Pollo Loco.
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: No more El Pollo Loco, man.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: I can't do it. I can't do it.
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: We ate it so much, man.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: All right, 877-44, Woody's the phone number. You can send
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: us a text over to 22987. Blue in the face.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Joe.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Can you help Greg out after the break?
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: We need your help.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: Don't even describe it. I'm always there for Greg. All
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: he needs is your opinion. It doesn't cost anything. It's
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: just your opinion. We get these texts into the show
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: and every once in a while there's one that really
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: grabs Greg's attention. He's trying to figure out how to
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: reply and he's got some options.
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: You know the thing is, I know Greg is.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Greg, I better be careful what I would say. Greg
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: has told me that he's a little creepy. And this
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: is a side conversation. So when we were doing that
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: creepy conversation, immediately I looked at Greg going, you're a creep.
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: And I know you are. That's fine, Greg.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you mean sexually, right?
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: It's fun.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: It's kind of a sexual deviance.
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: It is fun.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: It's so fun.
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: It should be fun. Oh, and it's so fun. People
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: take it.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: Way too seriously. It's so serious.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: And they're so uptight.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: I don't need a bed of roses, man.
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: We could be creepy in the parking lot, bro.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: I know it's probably something you've already told us, but
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: is there one thing- Like, in that realm that you're, like,
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: I just asked Joe about, like, Broke Joe would, you know,
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: roast him for.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: That I would find.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Is there a current day Greg that would roast?
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Probably not i don't regret anything in really in that
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: realm like i don't i don't like you know like
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: there's stuff that i've done there's stuff that i've done
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: that is incredibly shameful but but it's kind of like
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: if you get a tattoo and you think it's lame
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: yeah Hey, that's where I was at the time.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Shameful and gross.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: There's something I could never say on the air.
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: I would tell Joe secretly.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Wait, is it because we couldn't say it?
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: There's no way you could even formulate the sentences.
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: I'm crying right now.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: Is it because it's so shameful?
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: It's so gross and so weird.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: The fact that Greg said, there's nothing that I'm ashamed
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: of in that realm. Believe me.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: You don't want to know.
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: Just take the compliment on your cologne.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: I mean, there's stuff that I've done.
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: Bro, that's so dope. I love you, Greg.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: I'm with you, Greg. Whatever.
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: Who cares? Bro, it's behind closed doors.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it was crazy that night.
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: It was tequila.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: I remember the first time I had sushi. I thought,
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: this is kind of weird.
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: Now I.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Love it.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: If you're doing something in that realm, how do you
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: know you don't love it? You don't know.
- 1:18:27Speaker 7: Joe, it's funny that you say behind closed doors because
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: he shares some stuff.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Outside.
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: The door was wide open.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: He sat there in the yard. The neighbor saw him
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: one time. No.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: Alleys. alleys.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: He likes to get out there. A little park in
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: front of the grocery store by the radio station.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: Remember that one, Greg?
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: Yeah, the play zone at McDonald's. It's so funny. funny.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: It's so good.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: YOLO, right?
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: YOLO?
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: Do it, dog.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: Who cares?
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: We should point out, none of it's predatory. It's not
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: like Greg's going after strangers or showing his penis in
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: a parking lot.
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: All willing participants. No, he's not that guy. He's not
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: a flasher, but man, he's told me some creepy stuff
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: off air.
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: Don't forget, condoms are for punks.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Of course. I just want to be really clear. Greg
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: is not doing anything that would necessarily put him on
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: a list.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: And I've only gotten gonorrhea once.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: Thank you. Live and learn.
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: Hey, by the way, that's nothing. Not this realm.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: You remember my rookie year. One time? Adorable. Symbolism, anyone?
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Bye.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: Joe Coy is here. His new Netflix special is called
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: Blue in the Face. It is out now. It's on Netflix.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: More with Joe Coy is going to help Greg with
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: something non-creepy.
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: Okay, cool. It's about to be.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: You have this giant wad.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: It's too big.
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: And I'm not laughing.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: The Woody Show. Well, Joe Coy is here.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: And besides the new Netflix special called Blue in the Face,
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: which is out now, the pre-sale is happening now. And
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: then the regular on sale is this Friday at 10 a.m.,
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: Joe Coy once again taking over the Kia Forum. Woo! Nice.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Now that's going to be in April of next year.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: So April 24th of next year, Joe Coy at the Forum,
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: which you've played a number of times.
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: Six sold out.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Nice.
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: They got my picture in the VIP room. You're like
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: Harry Styles. Yeah, man.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: Back again. Yeah.
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: I got my name on the wall six times.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, not to brag, but, you know, yeah, it's on
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: there six times. Come on, man.
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: Come on.
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: No, it's cool.
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: You know, they put my picture next to Drake and
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: Kendrick Lamar, and it's like me in the middle. Like,
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: come on, break it up, guys. Come on, we're all
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: in this room together.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: Am I right? So, Joe Coy at the Forum, Saturday,
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: April 24th. Pre-sales happening now. Regular on sales this Friday
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: at 10.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: And you know what? I'm saying it right now. Your
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: tickets are there, all of you, in here, in this room.
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: I didn't want to ask.
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: No, you better stop right now. We're not going to
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: get into this fight again.
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: We're not doing this again.
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: You guys have the key to any door that I have,
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: and you know that. Okay. So quit acting like you're
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: locked out, Gina.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: Do I also have the key to that? I just
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: saw a clip online. That guy that walks up to
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: everybody and goes, hey, man, what do you do for
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: a living? Do I have a key to that? Was
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: that a Ferrari?
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: Yeah, that's my Ferrari.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: Do I have a key to that, too?
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: Yeah, you got that.
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: Really?
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: Yeah, you want to borrow it on the week?
- 1:21:33Speaker 10: Yes!
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: He's insured.
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: Yeah, borrow it. Go.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: I'm taking you up on that. I'll do it.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: I'm not joking. Hard top convertible.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: It's probably a stick. I can't drive it.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: No, it's not.
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: It's not?
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:21:46Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:21:48Speaker 10: Stop.
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: He just tries to talk.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: Himself out of it. You are.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: You know what?
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: No, I really thought all those cars were like manual transmissions.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: And I'm like, that's why I can never have those cars.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: It's rare to get those. You can't rent them. You
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: can't do anything. I would look like such an idiot.
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: You're a weirdo.
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: I know. Not as much as Greg.
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: Yeah, he's a. Dude, that was so funny. By the way,
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: when you were doing traffic, I just saw, and this
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: is just real quick. I want to put this out there.
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: But I saw it on Instagram. Is this a lie
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: where the guy was interviewing the guy driving and he goes,
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: how long have they been paying you to slow traffic down?
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: But it was a real thing. But it was a
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: real thing. Like the state pays people to drive slow?
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: Yes, it's a road diet.
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: I swear.
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: I saw it on Instagram. I'm like, Yo, that's why
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: our traffic is so bad out here.
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: Because they want to push people into buses and public
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: transit and it doesn't work.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: Wow. Or take a bike.
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: This isn't a conspiracy. This is real.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: This is real.
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: The guy was saying he was getting paid all day
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: to drive and drive slow and make people slow down.
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: I'm sure that was part of it.
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: Can we have that person killed?
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:22:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: Well, no.
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: Is that crazy?
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: That's real?
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: Yeah, it's real. And at first I was like, this
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: is a joke. And then it became an interview and
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: he was describing what he has to do.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: There's so many jobs I had no idea existed.
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: Yeah, man.
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: The weirdest thing I've ever heard.
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23:07Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: So it's like that. Well, he's keeping you employed for sure.
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: Thanks, man. Yeah, actually.
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: Send him a fruit basket.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: Hold on. Can you hear that?
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: Can you hear it?
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: Ah, there he goes. Another one of my favorite clips.
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: I really think you're very beautiful. I think tonight is tonight.
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: We do more than just have dinner and dance. We
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: make love. We make love in a creepy way. So
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: creepy that we're not ashamed later. You know what I'm
- 1:23:41Speaker 4: talking about, Greg.
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: YOLO.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: YOLO.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: One of his many guests that he has brought out
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: of his shows. Who knows who's going to be at
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: the Kia Forum on Saturday, April 24th.
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: I'm bringing them out this year.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: Should we just play it?
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: Stay creepy, Greg.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: Forever. Dude, Joe's been dancing the whole time. He's trying
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: to get Sammy to dance.
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: Sammy doesn't dance.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: No. Not a big dancer.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: She goes, you're being creepy.
- 1:24:07Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: She's trying to move the chair. It's Joe Coy's close
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: personal friend.
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: Nothing. Suavemente.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Somebody said, what's the point of playing this song? What's
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: the point? Yeah.
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: What's the point?
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: Do you need a point?
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: Dude, he shut it down. Yeah. I brought him out
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: at Fresno. Oh, dude, yeah.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: It's a fun clip, man. It's so sweet. We go
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: to a joke club. There's all these people come out.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: Surprises. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: All your friends come out.
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: Shout out Elvis Crespo. Yeah. When I was in Miami,
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: Luis Fonsi walked on stage.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: Oh, nice. Despacito.
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: Oh, he killed it. Man, you see a singer sing
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: live at the site that I get to see them,
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: like right next to them.
- 1:24:50Speaker 7: And you're like, oh, that's why you're a singer.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: Totally.
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: Yeah, you're an actual singer.
- 1:24:56Speaker 11: 909.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: Standing next to Wanya Morris sing, you're just like, oh.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: Please never play Spanish music again. Makes me want to
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: turn the channel fast. Such a good text. Had to
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: send it twice. Just to make sure we saw it.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: We got you. Just want to make sure it's acknowledged.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: We saw it. But we're still having a good time.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: Joe Coy here again. Go see him at the Kia Forum. Saturday,
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: April 24th. Pre-sales now. Regular on sale is this Friday
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: at 10 a.m. More Woody Show is next.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Next.
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: Next.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: Next. It's like Russian roulette, but with jizz. Exactly. It's sexy.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: Joe Coy in the building.
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: Blue in the face. His new Netflix special, which is
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: out now, at Joe Coy on social media. It's a
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: good time all the time with Joe Coy.
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: Yeah, man. Woody, can I say something? Yes. I go,
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: my breath stinks. You ever, like, When your breath smells
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: so bad, you smell it?
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 1:26:03Speaker 11: Right?
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: Usually people are like, hey, your breath stinks. I literally.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: He got it under control. Good.
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: He's a changed man.
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: Nice.
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: Those are your tonsil stones? No, it's just, it stinks.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: I can tell.
- 1:26:15Speaker 4: I was talking to Sammy and.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: I was just like, oh gosh, she smells it.
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: And then I go, do you guys have a mint?
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: And Gina goes, I have hot honey.
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I gave him a hot honey.
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: You want to pour that in your throat?
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: Man, have you always got mints and stuff?
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: Oh, I got it.
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: Altoids.
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: We got him some Altoids.
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: I'm weird about Altoids because it's a fingertip grab. Yeah.
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: There's no way to shake it out.
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: There's nothing. So it's like just random fingertips. Going in
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: and in and in and sifting through every mint.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: Or you can just take the one.
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: As if one's different than the other.
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: Just pick one out.
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: Well, they're not horrible. But who's the other person that
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: touched the mint?
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: I mean, I did stir them with my penis. Oh,
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: my God.
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: That's what that was.
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: I knew that wasn't mint.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: Tastes like avocado. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:26:59Speaker 4: Gina said that.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: I'm so grossed out now. She didn't coin this. But
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: I agree with it. She said that avocado tastes like
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: clean penis. Oh. Try it.
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: I can only take your word on that one.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: Well, Greg says don't knock it till you try it.
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: Well, I don't agree with it.
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: I think it tastes like nothing.
- 1:27:18Speaker 6: I think it tastes like.
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: Avocado.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: And if anyone knows.
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: About creepy tastes, it's Greg. I don't think I've ever
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: seen Greg in an alley going, that tastes like avocado.
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: That's so crazy. That's definitely avocado.
- 1:27:35Speaker 6: Let me text my friend.
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: Holy cow, that's guacamole for sure. Can I get some salt?
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: Can I get some chips next to this?
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: Greg?
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: Joe?
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: You have your line between your thumb and your forefinger.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: You lick the salt.
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: I haven't seen you buy a sizzler dumpster. That's me.
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: Greg, what are you doing here? He's like, it's obvious
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: what I'm doing here.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: What are you doing here? How did you find me?
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: Trying to throw away some trash.
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's me in an alley by a dumpster.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: Not anymore. Not anymore. Been there, done that.
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: The old me. But I don't regret it.
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: I don't. Oh, that's so beautiful. Don't regret it.
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: I love the fact that you're honest about it, man.
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: Why not?
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: Hey, there's been some weird situations with me, and I'm
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: not ashamed about it. You admit it.
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: You're like, feet.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: I admit it. Oh, it's how you're a feet guy.
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: I love feet.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: Okay, Greg, that's a good question, because you and I
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: have always been on the same page about like, how
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: do you.
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: What's the origin story of that? Right. Because we've never
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: gotten a great answer.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: Right. On, like, the people who are into feet. Foot freaks.
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: Like, where did that come from?
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: How did you discover this?
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: How did I discover it? Well, in general. I looked
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: at my own foot and I said, I hope to
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: God whoever I date doesn't have this foot.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: Are your feet really jacked up?
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: Are you kidding me? Really?
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: Like, in what way?
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: Do you have, like, six toes?
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: Like, what... I just, like, I can't let the nail
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: grow into white.
- 1:29:04Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: So I'm always cutting. And then now I have this
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: obsession where it's like, I need to go a little deeper. Oh, no.
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: That hurts.
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: Blood appears. Do you have, like, half a nail? You
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: ever see people that have, like, their nails are so
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: short that there's still, like, another half a nail's worth
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: of flesh?
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:29:19Speaker 6: You know what I'm talking about? I mean, that's why
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: I wear fake nails, because otherwise I'd bite them like that.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but great.
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: You do that till you bleed on your thumb.
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: On just one thumb. But I quit biting my nails.
- 1:29:30Speaker 3: I used to bite all of them, and then I
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: quit one at a time. Yeah. And now I'm down
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: to a thumb.
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: It looks like I slammed it in a car door.
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: That's from biting it?
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: So your feet got jacked up from biting your.
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: Nails so much? Craig, your thumb looks like it has gonorrhea.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: But you've got to stop.
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: I'm working on it.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: Your feet got jacked up from cutting your nails too much?
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: And I still do it. I still do it, yeah.
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: And it always ends up bleeding.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: Show us your foot.
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: So the reason you're in your feet, Ben, why?
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: Because I have ugly, like my baby toenails gone.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: Dude, I guarantee your foot looks better than my face.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: It's bad, dude. And I had surgery on my toes.
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: You did? Yeah. It's so ugly, Gina.
- 1:30:15Speaker 6: I want to see it. I love you either way.
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: Look, this one actually still has blood in it.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: I'm not even joking.
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: Look, this one still has blood in it.
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: What is that bad?
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: I'm trying to tell you, look.
- 1:30:25Speaker 10: And i use a nipper yeah it looks pretty jacked
- 1:30:34Speaker 10: pinky toenails missing i.
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: Don't know greg this could start your foot obsession no.
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: Feet it's so gross it's nothing but you like a
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: nice foot like you'll go there so it's a.
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: Comparison i hate mine so bad that when i see
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: a woman with a beautiful foot i'm just like yeah
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: that's what a foot's supposed to i don't know what
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: i did but that that.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: Makes sense great i did mention we need your help
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: on so well greg needs your help on something oh
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: no no it's just your.
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: No i love it i love it by the way
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: i love all of greg's stories oh you're gonna love.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: This okay so i don't think so we all have
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: uh jobs here on the show besides you know just
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: talking into microphones and everybody's job is to kind of
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: chip in as people text in to try to reply
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: to as many as we can, the ones that make
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: sense and whatever. So Greg does a great job, and
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: he's one of the better ones when it comes to
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: replying to a lot of people.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: And in general, it's like, oh, thank you. Have a
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: great weekend. Stuff like simple pleasantries.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: Every once in a while, there's a text that just
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: for whatever reason... Just gets under Greg's skin. And merits
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: a response. And he marinates on it for a while
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: to figure out what reply he's going to send back. Now, Greg,
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: besides all the freaky stuff we've been talking about, Greg,
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: when you just look at him and what you know
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: about Greg, he's very buttoned up. He's very intelligent. He's
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: very well spoken. He has a very big vocabulary. You
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: wouldn't expect these base level gutter responses.
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: You're totally right, which is why this task for me
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: is incredible. I even thought about Joe last night, knowing
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: he was coming in and thinking, how do you do this?
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: I'm trying to make something quippy and funny, and it's difficult.
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: So I spent literally two hours, while drinking heavily, trying
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: to come up with a way to insult these a-holes.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: So these are real text messages that come into the
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: show that Greg is sending real responses to. So these
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: people will get a response from us today saying, Something
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: that Greg has come up with, but he's got some
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: options for us. We call it Greg's Immature Replies to
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: Text Messages.
- 1:32:32Speaker 4: I love it.
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: Immature being the key word.
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: So the more immature, the better.
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: Very uncharacteristic of Greg, but we get to help him decide. Now,
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: if you want to try to help comedians, you guys
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: get paid to maybe punch up a script. If you
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: want to help him out and punch it up, that's cool, too.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: All right, Greg, text number one.
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: So it's from the 985, this dude in southeastern Louisiana
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: who always texts in. And I looked over the text history.
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: He just basically bags on me the whole time.
- 1:32:59Speaker 8: Oh, cool.
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: That's what he likes to do. So this one's very generic.
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: Everybody's good at something.
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: Greg is like old people who hated on rock and
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: roll when Elvis started making new music. Just like all
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: those old blue hairs who were scared of the Beatles.
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: LMAO.
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: I'm laughing out loud thinking about how dumb you are.
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: My 102-year-old grandmother wants to hang out but says, you're
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: too much of a bitch for her.
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: Oh, damn.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: So clearly, that rubbed me the wrong way. Oh, sure.
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: So I came up with a handful of options to
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: send back to this guy. This is where we need
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: your help.
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: This is where we need your help. Which one do
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: you like the best?
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: Your help, whatever.
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: How about this one? What was harder for your grandmother,
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: two world wars or grandpa going fishing for brown trout
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: in her fart fort?
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: Okay, there's one.
- 1:33:46Speaker 7: That's one.
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: Okay, how about.
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: What was tougher on Grandma? Prohibition or all that speakeasy
- 1:33:55Speaker 3: man jam in her gravy gutter?
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: In her gravy gutter? Oh, man. This guy's vocabulary is good.
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: I love it. Emphasis on immature replies. That's the goal here.
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: Option three. Interesting.
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: Your grandma is also LMAO. Lubricating that mature anal opening.
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: Before anybody says anything else.
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: Joe gets to vote first. And then this one, again,
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: I was kind of drunk. All I put was for
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: this option, my hair isn't as blue as your balls.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: I don't like that one as much.
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: That's just a throwaway. So Joe, between those three.
- 1:34:40Speaker 6: You have Fart Fort, Man Jam, LMAO, or Blue Balls.
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: Well, Blue Balls is out.
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: LMAO. was so funny, but fart, what was it called again?
- 1:34:54Speaker 4: Fart fort.
- 1:34:55Speaker 7: Fart fort.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: Fishing in the fart fort. Fishing for brown trout in
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: the fart fort.
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: Fishing for brown trout in your fart fort. Like he's
- 1:35:03Speaker 4: got to think about how he got offended.
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: And her grandpa is doing it. Yeah.
- 1:35:07Speaker 8: Grandma.
- 1:35:07Speaker 4: That is, and such a descriptive. visual that you actually
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: see it. And I loved it. And he caught the fish.
- 1:35:17Speaker 4: Grandpa caught it. He pulled it right out. I got
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: another big one.
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: Alright, so what I do is we copy and we
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: paste and then we send it and we hopefully... Destroy
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: his day.
- 1:35:33Speaker 4: Boom.
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: Roll set. All right.
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: One down.
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: Next one up. Greg Gorey's immature replies to text messages.
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: I love this.
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: I also looked at her text history. A woman who's
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: always texting in about how everybody here on the show
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: doesn't work that hard. This is from the 972. Another
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: week off for the Woody show. Funny how so many
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: people take so much time off after working so little.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: Rude. Rude, right?
- 1:35:57Speaker 3: It's very rude. So I only have two options for her. Yeah,
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: it takes a lot of people to get this show on.
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: Kind of how it takes a lot of dongs to
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: get your mom's box off.
- 1:36:07Speaker 4: A lot of dongs.
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: Just kind of basic, right?
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I love it, though.
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: Basic and dumb. That's option number one. And then option two.
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: Well, we can all agree that nothing works harder than
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: your diva cup catching all that Playtex punch.
- 1:36:25Speaker 7: Oh, sick!
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: Ah!
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: Do you know what those are, Greg? Your metaphors are crazy.
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: Do you know what those are, Joe?
- 1:36:30Speaker 4: What's a Playtex punch?
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: Do you know what a Diva Cup is?
- 1:36:36Speaker 4: No. Oh, yes, I do.
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: Instead of tampons, some women will use these things. It's
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: really hard to do. Now you know what the Playtex
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: punch is. Oh, that's so funny. Those are really good.
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: Man, I say send them both. Really?
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: But there's still one more.
- 1:36:53Speaker 4: No, there's only two of those.
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: Two for those. All right. Which one, Joe?
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: Maybe just back to back.
- 1:36:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's a back to back.
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: Oh, that'd be a first.
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: You should put ellipses at the end of the first one.
- 1:37:06Speaker 4: And then continue.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: That's dot, dot, dot.
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: Yeah, dot, dot, dot. And then go, oh, by the way,
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: I just thought of this as well.
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: Oh, I like oh, by the way, because it makes
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: it like art.
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: Sign it, Joe Coy.
- 1:37:19Speaker 4: Oh, please. Oh, yes.
- 1:37:22Speaker 6: Play text punch.
- 1:37:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: You're going to do the ellipses.
- 1:37:24Speaker 4: After that play text punch, you should write mazel tov
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: or something.
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: By the way. Would it be oh, by the way,
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: and then another ellipses?
- 1:37:32Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: Just the one.
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: Oh, by the way.
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: This is a first.
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: We can all agree that nothing works harder than your
- 1:37:38Speaker 3: Diva Cup catching all that Playtex punch.
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: Ellipses. I like Mazel Tov. How do you spell that?
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: M-A-Z-E-L.
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: E-L-T-O-V.
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: Mazel Tov.
- 1:37:46Speaker 6: Mazel Tov.
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: Okay, two days ruined. There you go.
- 1:37:57Speaker 3: That's how it works.
- 1:37:58Speaker 4: That's so beautiful.
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: Greg Gorey's Immature Replies with Text Messages.
- 1:38:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:38:02Speaker 2: See? I told you it'd be fun.
- 1:38:05Speaker 3: That's so funny.
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: The fart fort. I'm going to say that.
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: Put that in your next special.
- 1:38:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I love that.
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: Joe Coy's here. Netflix special called Blue in the Face.
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: Check it out on Netflix.
- 1:38:15Speaker 4: Yeah, Wheel of Gift Cards time, everybody.
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: All right, so Wheel of Gift Cards works this way.
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: We told you to be caller number 98, and whoever
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: that person is gets to choose. whatever gift card they want. Now,
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: it can't be any kind of cash card, Visa, MasterCard,
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: American Express card, or an Amazon card, because we want
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: to see what you guys, our listeners, are into. Given
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: the choice, what would you choose? What could you really use?
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: It's just we're collecting.
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: Data on you.
- 1:38:46Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and we won't sell it.
- 1:38:49Speaker 4: No, we don't.
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: We just use it for what to know to give
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: away next.
- 1:38:51Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: That kind of stuff. All right, so caller number 98-877-44
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: will tell us what gift card you want. And today,
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: because he's in the studio with us, Joe Coy will
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: spin the wheel to find out how much that gift
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: card will be worth, anywhere from $ 300 up to $ 1, 000. What?
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. And let's talk to Christy in Alhambra. Hey,
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: what's up, Christy? Christy.
- 1:39:12Speaker 9: Hi.
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: Hi. You're caller number 98. That's what's up.
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: I'm so excited.
- 1:39:16Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:39:17Speaker 2: So, Christy, you get to choose the gift card. That's
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: step number one. Which gift card would you like to
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: go to or go with?
- 1:39:24Speaker 6: Sam's Club.
- 1:39:24Speaker 4: Sam's Club. Hell, yes. Good choice.
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: That's a really good choice. See, this is what I'm saying.
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: There's a theme. Yesterday was Costco. Today is Sam's Club.
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: You could pick anything.
- 1:39:33Speaker 9: Yep.
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: And this is what our listeners go with. So, that's
- 1:39:35Speaker 2: good to know. All right. Now, Christy, our friend, comedian
- 1:39:39Speaker 2: Joe Coy is here. He's going to spin the wheel today.
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: for you, and we're going to figure out how much
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: that gift card to Sam's Club is going to be worth.
- 1:39:45Speaker 4: Say hi to me.
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: Say hi to Joe.
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: Hi.
- 1:39:47Speaker 4: Okay, yeah. I'm going to do good for you now.
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: All right, yeah.
- 1:39:52Speaker 2: All right, so Joe's walking over.
- 1:39:54Speaker 4: We're like Sammy.
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: We saw Sammy run. We saw Sammy run during the
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: commercial break.
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:40:04Speaker 2: And she runs the way that people have those dreams
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: where you're trying to do something and your legs won't
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: work or your arms won't work or you're in slow motion.
- 1:40:09Speaker 6: I have short legs. Yeah.
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: All right. Go ahead and spin it. It goes to
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: the left there.
- 1:40:14Speaker 8: Yep.
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:40:15Speaker 11: Yep.
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: You had a good spin there, Joe.
- 1:40:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: Big money. That was a really good job. That was fantastic.
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: It's one of the best spins we've ever had.
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: Very clean.
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Very clean spin. Very pro. Yeah, whammies. All right.
- 1:40:27Speaker 3: Come on. All right.
- 1:40:28Speaker 4: It is slowing down.
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: It's going to land.
- 1:40:30Speaker 4: Go, go, go, go, go.
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: $ 600.
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: What?
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:40:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:40:40Speaker 2: A $ 600 Sam's Club gift card. Christy, congratulations.
- 1:40:44Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: And number one in Alhambra.
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: You know!
- 1:40:50Speaker 2: There's Christy, everybody.
- 1:40:51Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:40:52Speaker 2: All right, Christy, hang on one second. We'll get all
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: your information tomorrow. Another chance to spin and win here
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: on The Woody Show. Joe Coy is here.
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: Joe Coy's new Netflix special is called Blue in the Face.
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:41:07Speaker 2: At Joe Coy on social media. Speaking of things to
- 1:41:12Speaker 2: look at, Menace, you said you had something you wanted
- 1:41:15Speaker 2: to bring up to Joe. Yeah. It's a documentary.
- 1:41:17Speaker 7: Yeah, I want to see if you watch this yet
- 1:41:18Speaker 7: because I know that you're into breakdancing, breakdancing culture, b-boys, b-girls.
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: I am a b-boy.
- 1:41:24Speaker 7: Have you watched the Ray Gunn documentary yet?
- 1:41:27Speaker 4: I didn't want to. I didn't want to and I
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: had to.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: You watched it. You had to?
- 1:41:33Speaker 4: I'm so upset. Because you're so into it.
- 1:41:34Speaker 6: Delusional.
- 1:41:35Speaker 4: I'm so upset.
- 1:41:36Speaker 11: Why?
- 1:41:37Speaker 4: Because, like, they should fine Australia, whoever the... Oh, the
- 1:41:41Speaker 4: judges weren't... Whoever that was that got that through. It's
- 1:41:45Speaker 4: a disgrace to the sport.
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: Okay, so Ray Gunn is... Breakdancing was in the Olympics.
- 1:41:52Speaker 2: And Ray Gunn is the woman who.
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: Got goofed on because of doing almost like a dinosaur.
- 1:41:59Speaker 6: She's pretending to be an alligator.
- 1:42:01Speaker 7: If you watch the documentary, she explains why she did
- 1:42:04Speaker 7: each move.
- 1:42:05Speaker 4: There is no explanation for what she did.
- 1:42:09Speaker 2: Here's my question. I didn't watch it. I didn't watch
- 1:42:12Speaker 2: the Olympics. I didn't watch the documentary. You're not going
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: to spoil anything for me. My question about the whole
- 1:42:18Speaker 2: thing is Was this a joke from the beginning? Like,
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: was Ray Gunn joking? No.
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: No, she was serious.
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: So she thinks she's a really good breakdancer.
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: In her head, yes.
- 1:42:28Speaker 7: And her husband. It's a great love story for two
- 1:42:31Speaker 7: stupid people.
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: For real.
- 1:42:34Speaker 2: Here's the thing.
- 1:42:35Speaker 7: It was a perfect storm of her parents being super
- 1:42:37Speaker 7: supportive and her... Her man being super delusional as well.
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:42:43Speaker 4: Now, but the thing is.
- 1:42:44Speaker 7: I have to put it on Australia, too, because she
- 1:42:46Speaker 7: did go to a competition to go against other people.
- 1:42:49Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. To get in. And she lost.
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: No, no.
- 1:42:52Speaker 4: She won that competition. No, she lost. She lost when
- 1:42:56Speaker 4: she left Australia. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. She went and competed,
- 1:42:59Speaker 4: and she was losing. Yeah, but that was just- And
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: that's when Australia should have been like, hey, like- This
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: is high-level competition. This is a horrible representation. And they
- 1:43:08Speaker 4: knew it was going to be a joke.
- 1:43:09Speaker 2: I'll be honest. I know you like breakdancing. There's a
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: lot of things you can like, right? But is it
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: a sport?
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: Yes, 100%.
- 1:43:15Speaker 2: An Olympic sport?
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: One million percent.
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: Breakdancing?
- 1:43:18Speaker 4: One million percent. Really?
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: They're doing things that no human can.
- 1:43:22Speaker 3: Do right now.
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: Okay, but again, it's not.
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: It is an Olympic sport. Yeah.
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: If you can brush an ice floor and let a
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: little wooden shoe fly down and the three guys mopping
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: the ice floor, and that's a sport and no one's
- 1:43:37Speaker 4: breaking the sweat?
- 1:43:38Speaker 2: That's shuffleboard.
- 1:43:39Speaker 4: No, we're not doing that. These guys are elite athletes.
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: And by the way, zero sponsorship for any of these kids.
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: And they're literally going in. And this means the world
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: to them. Like, this is their livelihood.
- 1:43:53Speaker 2: I understand dance competitions. I just don't know, like, sport
- 1:43:56Speaker 2: or Olympics.
- 1:43:56Speaker 4: It's 100% sport, man. Like, yeah, they're doing stuff that
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: the floor exercise can't even think about doing in gymnastics.
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: They're doing elite moves and positions that you don't even
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: think the human body can do. Like, watch it. And
- 1:44:12Speaker 4: on top of that, with rhythm and dance. Like, it's
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: got all the elements of, like, a sport.
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: So what's good when it comes to this Ray Gunn person?
- 1:44:23Speaker 4: She should serve time.
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: She should serve time.
- 1:44:29Speaker 4: And Australia should be fine. I love Australia, but whoever
- 1:44:31Speaker 4: the committee was, honestly, they should be fine.
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: Well, that's on them. But I mean, there's a lot
- 1:44:37Speaker 2: of those people that you see.
- 1:44:38Speaker 4: She should have pulled out. She should have been like, look.
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: I thought you were going to be like her dad
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: showed up, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:44:45Speaker 4: Good. There should have been a part where your own
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: morals should have kicked in and went, look, I'm.
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: Going to be true. This is a mockery.
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: But at this point, what's her attitude toward the whole thing?
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: Because it It brought her a lot of attention. She
- 1:44:57Speaker 2: honestly thinks that she deserved to be there.
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: It's the craziest thing.
- 1:45:02Speaker 2: Negative attention or not, people know who she is. People
- 1:45:07Speaker 2: will take anything and be able to cash in on it.
- 1:45:09Speaker 2: She should be able to make something. From the whole experience.
- 1:45:13Speaker 4: She's cashing in, definitely. And that's what sucks as well.
- 1:45:17Speaker 2: Is she cool with that whole experience, or is she
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: one of those people who are now traumatized by it?
- 1:45:21Speaker 4: No, no, no. Now she's embraced it. Sorry, I'm sorry, Miss,
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: I keep walking on you. You are the gassier about this.
- 1:45:28Speaker 4: But it's just, what's the guy's name that owns Virgins?
- 1:45:34Speaker 4: What a sweet man this guy is because she was suicidal. She, she,
- 1:45:38Speaker 4: she went into hiding and all that, which I definitely should.
- 1:45:43Speaker 4: Like I would have to like, it's, it's a sucky feeling,
- 1:45:45Speaker 4: but it's also like you put yourself in that position.
- 1:45:47Speaker 4: Like you should have pulled yourself out, but man, that
- 1:45:50Speaker 4: Branson guy, he saw that and he celebrated her and, I.
- 1:45:53Speaker 7: Called her up and invited her out.
- 1:45:55Speaker 4: And just like, there's good humans out there.
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: Come dance for us. Yeah.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: Like, look, I am upset at the situation, but no
- 1:46:01Speaker 4: one deserves to go through what she went through publicly.
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: But. Man.
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: I think she does if she knows. She went there.
- 1:46:10Speaker 4: She knows. Yeah, you're right.
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: She had to know.
- 1:46:11Speaker 2: She wasn't tricked.
- 1:46:12Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right. She entered the competition.
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: She thought she was great. I think the people who
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: think they're really good singers, they would go on American
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: Idol and be like, good God. They don't really show
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: those people much anymore, right? They don't show the terrible people. No,
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: that's a different show. Because their parents are like, oh
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: my God, you should sing. You're a great singer. You're
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: going to be a big star. And they start, people
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: tell you stuff enough, you're going to believe it, right?
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: So they go out there and they go on an
- 1:46:34Speaker 2: American Idol audition and they William hung it. Well, this
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: is the part that I agree with, Joe, and this
- 1:46:39Speaker 2: is what I didn't think about. Because, again, going back
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: to the initial competition that happened in Australia, she did
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: win that competition.
- 1:46:47Speaker 4: She did win.
- 1:46:47Speaker 7: And then when she went to go do practice runs.
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: Does nobody else breakdance in Australia?
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: I guess the B-girl culture wasn't really big. No one
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: was entering.
- 1:46:58Speaker 7: This is where I kind of have a conspiracy on it, too.
- 1:47:01Speaker 7: Because the judges for those competitions, uh for that competition
- 1:47:04Speaker 7: in australia were international judges they weren't from australia so
- 1:47:08Speaker 7: like did they just like try to set up it.
- 1:47:12Speaker 4: Was so weird because even like when when she went
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: to battle like the real b girls that were just
- 1:47:18Speaker 4: in europe and stuff yeah that should have been the
- 1:47:20Speaker 4: part where they were like hey australia you might want
- 1:47:22Speaker 4: to sit this one.
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: Out yeah you're embarrassing this is embarrassing if break dancing
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: you say it's a sport yeah it's an olympic sport.
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: Look at them I'll give you a list of names
- 1:47:30Speaker 4: and it'll change your mind.
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: I've seen lots of very, I think break dancing is cool.
- 1:47:34Speaker 2: And the B-boy stuff, like when you had your show
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: at SoFi Stadium, you came out and you were doing, like, dude,
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: that stuff, I could never do it. The argument that
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: I don't like is like, well, I'd like to see
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: you do it. No, I'm not saying I could do it.
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: I can argue or bring up a question like, do
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: you think it's a sport? Like, certainly it takes a
- 1:47:51Speaker 2: lot of athletic ability. It takes a lot of, you know,
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: body control and strength and all these other things. What
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: about cheerleading?
- 1:47:59Speaker 3: Is that a sport?
- 1:47:59Speaker 4: 100%.
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: Can you beat in the Olympics? They're athletes.
- 1:48:03Speaker 6: They're elite athletes.
- 1:48:04Speaker 4: They're elite athletes.
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, you know, I come from, you know, no
- 1:48:09Speaker 4: one knows this, but my aunt, my auntie Evelyn, the
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: one that named me Jokoy, my name is actually Joko,
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: which means ko in Tagalog means my. So my nickname
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: is my Joe, Joko.
- 1:48:19Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever, nobody cares.
- 1:48:20Speaker 4: Yeah, nobody cares about that.
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: That was so good.
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: That was really good. Cool story, bro.
- 1:48:25Speaker 2: Clip to your point.
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: She was the first Filipino ever to represent the Philippines
- 1:48:32Speaker 4: in the Olympics.
- 1:48:33Speaker 2: What?
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:48:34Speaker 4: So when the person that just won the gold, that
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: was the headline, first Filipino to get a gold. win
- 1:48:40Speaker 4: a gold in the Olympics, but second Filipino to Evelyn
- 1:48:43Speaker 4: de la Fuente. Yeah.
- 1:48:44Speaker 6: What did she do?
- 1:48:45Speaker 4: Evelyn Magluyan. You can look up all her. What was
- 1:48:47Speaker 4: her sport? She was floor exercise.
- 1:48:49Speaker 6: Oh my God.
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: Those are the best. Yeah. Evelyn Magluyan. And, and it's crazy. Cause, uh,
- 1:48:56Speaker 4: you know, and her, my, my cousin Mona, that's my
- 1:48:59Speaker 4: best friend.
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: So, uh, And then she has, you know, and she
- 1:49:03Speaker 4: married Bo, who was also a cheerleader. And they had
- 1:49:06Speaker 4: these kids. So they bred. They bred. And they just
- 1:49:10Speaker 4: spawned off these athletes. It's crazy. So my nephew, Trey,
- 1:49:14Speaker 4: is an amazing athlete. And then, yeah. And then Duncan.
- 1:49:17Speaker 4: And it's just, it's crazy to see.
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: Are you pulling up?
- 1:49:21Speaker 6: She completed floor exercise and balance beam. This was in 1964.
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:49:28Speaker 2: That is awesome.
- 1:49:29Speaker 4: That's cool. Yeah.
- 1:49:31Speaker 6: It would be another 60 years before the Philippines would
- 1:49:34Speaker 6: compete in women's gymnastics again.
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: That's my aunt. She's got all her newspaper clippings and
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: all that stuff.
- 1:49:39Speaker 2: Oh, that's cool.
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: We're all so proud of her. It's crazy, but yeah.
- 1:49:43Speaker 2: You know who's brave? Have you seen these dudes who
- 1:49:46Speaker 2: are getting on the NFL cheerleading squads?
- 1:49:49Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:49:50Speaker 6: I saw one dude.
- 1:49:51Speaker 2: On the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleading squad, there's this dude who
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: made the squad. And he's in there with the chicks
- 1:49:56Speaker 2: doing the whole body movements like the chicks. He's not
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: just lifting chicks up and doing the stuff that the traditional- Oh.
- 1:50:02Speaker 4: He's dancing with them. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's not just
- 1:50:04Speaker 4: a bass.
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: No, these guys are getting donked on hard.
- 1:50:07Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:50:09Speaker 6: Is he flamboyant?
- 1:50:11Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:50:12Speaker 4: Has he done anything creepy with Greg? He's not ashamed of?
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: No, you say that.
- 1:50:17Speaker 4: Has he been to a sizzler's alley?
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: Not yet.
- 1:50:20Speaker 7: You say that, but all cheerleaders were male until the war.
- 1:50:24Speaker 7: And then all the guys had a- And then it
- 1:50:25Speaker 7: got good. And then women took over.
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: Yeah, Gina. Thanks, menace.
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: Yeah, then it got good.
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: A little fun fact for menace over here. Yeah. Hey,
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: I hate to rain on your parade, but it's always
- 1:50:37Speaker 4: been male cheerleaders, buddy.
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:50:40Speaker 2: Keep the ladies out, right?
- 1:50:41Speaker 3: My uncle was the first cheerleader.
- 1:50:43Speaker 4: For the Bears. 1961.
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: Look him up. And he used.
- 1:50:47Speaker 4: To do creepy stuff all the time.
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: Greg.
- 1:50:50Speaker 4: It was normal.
- 1:50:51Speaker 7: His ass cheeks were hanging out of them shorts.
- 1:50:54Speaker 2: My grandfather was a Raider bro.
- 1:50:55Speaker 4: He was a Raider bro, man.
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: He was in the newspaper.
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 1:51:00Speaker 7: You should have seen the coochie fingers that he wore.
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: He would get into bar fights with pom-poms in his hands.
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: Try that.
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: Joke's on you, buddy. Joe Coy, thank you, as always.
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: Great to see you, and we always appreciate you coming in.
- 1:51:14Speaker 2: Always have a good time.
- 1:51:14Speaker 4: I love you.
- 1:51:15Speaker 2: And super proud of you, man, and super happy for you.
- 1:51:18Speaker 2: I feel like I say that all the time, but
- 1:51:20Speaker 2: there's always something new. He's always got... When's the.
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: The Hollywood Walk of Fame thing.
- 1:51:25Speaker 4: That's gonna be next year. We're pushing for March.
- 1:51:26Speaker 2: How does that work? Because I didn't realize that when
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: you get nominated, then they decide who it's gonna be.
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: And then once they say that you're getting it, then
- 1:51:33Speaker 2: they give you a certain window or something, right?
- 1:51:35Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: Well, no, I'm always gonna be... My class is dope,
- 1:51:38Speaker 4: by the way. Is it up to you, though? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:51:41Speaker 4: I get to pick. I get to pick my day.
- 1:51:43Speaker 4: And then my class is crazy. It's Linkin Park, Lil Wayne,
- 1:51:47Speaker 4: Carol G... Oh, my God. It's such a smashing pumpkin.
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: Does it have to be a weekday?
- 1:51:52Speaker 4: Could it be a Saturday? Yeah, I can pick any day. Wow.
- 1:51:54Speaker 10: Are we invited this time?
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: Yo.
- 1:51:57Speaker 4: Bro.
- 1:51:57Speaker 2: Why are you doing this? Don't do that menace.
- 1:52:00Speaker 6: We were literally there taking pictures with you.
- 1:52:03Speaker 4: Bro. Are we invited?
- 1:52:05Speaker 2: I just want to make sure. Because we don't want
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: to awkwardly show up and go, no, we're on the list.
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: You know what you guys do? You know what annoys
- 1:52:11Speaker 4: me about you guys? This is what annoys me.
- 1:52:13Speaker 6: Break out the list.
- 1:52:14Speaker 4: No. What annoys me is you guys put yourself in
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: this little box. And it's so annoying to witness. It's
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: like when I got my handprint, you guys are behind
- 1:52:25Speaker 4: the velvet ropes. I'm like, what are you guys doing?
- 1:52:28Speaker 4: I'm like, get back here.
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: You're with me, you moron.
- 1:52:35Speaker 4: I think I'll land your tang around their necks and
- 1:52:38Speaker 4: say B-I-P.
- 1:52:38Speaker 9: Ah!
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: You don't seem to understand. Joe, can you sign this
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: for me?
- 1:52:42Speaker 4: I know you, Gina. I know you.
- 1:52:45Speaker 2: We've told you this a million times. It comes from
- 1:52:48Speaker 2: our experience of working in this building. We've said, oh,
- 1:52:51Speaker 2: you guys must think you're really big deals. Hang out
- 1:52:54Speaker 2: here for five minutes and see what not a big deal.
- 1:52:56Speaker 3: It's like when you pet an abused dog, they flinch.
- 1:52:58Speaker 4: But I think we've establish this relationship where you know.
- 1:53:03Speaker 7: We're finally there.
- 1:53:05Speaker 4: Gina, no, we've been there.
- 1:53:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we've been there.
- 1:53:07Speaker 4: Greg, I know creepy stuff about your fingertips and everything.
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:53:11Speaker 4: Woody, I call you at your house on FaceTime when
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: you're jumping in the pool.
- 1:53:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:53:15Speaker 4: I don't want to see that, but I get.
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: To see it. You're the one who FaceTimes.
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: Menace, I smelt your old breath. Yeah, true. Sammy, I
- 1:53:22Speaker 4: know you when you used to make.
- 1:53:24Speaker 7: blueberry daiquiris with crappy vodka.
- 1:53:29Speaker 4: I know you guys, you guys are my friends.
- 1:53:31Speaker 6: We're not like- Let's release Joe from the burden of
- 1:53:34Speaker 6: having to convince us we're friends.
- 1:53:35Speaker 4: No, but I'm just saying- That's what I'm saying. I
- 1:53:37Speaker 4: don't want you guys to ever be like, well, we
- 1:53:39Speaker 4: didn't receive a call. It's like, you guys, you're on
- 1:53:42Speaker 4: my list.
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: Tell you what- We understand it now.
- 1:53:44Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:53:44Speaker 4: Hold on. I'm going to put this out there because
- 1:53:46Speaker 4: we're done. This is going to be the last time
- 1:53:47Speaker 4: I say this, buddy. You can go up to any
- 1:53:50Speaker 4: of my events and go- Hey, Woody's outside and you
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: will be escorted in with security. And that's with all
- 1:53:56Speaker 4: of you.
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 1:53:58Speaker 4: Yes. You don't need to be on a list.
- 1:53:59Speaker 2: The security guy will know.
- 1:54:00Speaker 4: You know about that. Menace, I'm about that. You know that.
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: Menace came to my show 45 minutes late. I wanted
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: to kick him out until I found out the guy
- 1:54:08Speaker 4: hunched over creeping to the front row was Menace.
- 1:54:11Speaker 3: We make your little star ceremony work with our schedule.
- 1:54:14Speaker 4: Yes. Then let's do it. So we're going to do
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: this together. The star ceremony's with you, right? Can we
- 1:54:21Speaker 4: do that? And then also, the forum. You just come
- 1:54:24Speaker 4: to the forum club. Your name is already on the list. Okay.
- 1:54:27Speaker 4: And if it's not, you just call me. And you
- 1:54:30Speaker 4: have my son's number. No, I'm turning around. I'm just kidding.
- 1:54:33Speaker 4: Everyone in this room, butt menace. Yes. Perfect. No, but
- 1:54:38Speaker 4: I love you guys, honestly.
- 1:54:39Speaker 7: We love you so much.
- 1:54:40Speaker 2: The new Netflix special, Blue in the Face.
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:54:43Speaker 2: Which that's what we're going to be. We're going to
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: be like beat red because we're going to be so embarrassed.
- 1:54:46Speaker 2: We'll be like, who is this? Who are you? You're
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: supposed to be here. Go away. Do I have to
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: wear the cuffs? Blue in the face. Netflix special out
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: now at Joe Coy on social media.
- 1:54:55Speaker 4: Oh, Woody, Woody, I got to see one more thing.
- 1:55:01Speaker 4: Your timing today is impeccable. Netflix just picked up my movie,
- 1:55:05Speaker 4: Easter Sunday, so that's on there as well. Let's go.
- 1:55:08Speaker 4: Everybody watch Easter Sunday. That was amazing to shoot that.
- 1:55:11Speaker 4: Steven Spielberg, big shout out to Steven Spielberg, DreamWorks, Holly, everybody.
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we asked to be in that and he said no.
- 1:55:18Speaker 2: I told you to.
- 1:55:19Speaker 4: Go on set.
- 1:55:19Speaker 3: Yeah, Stevie said no.
- 1:55:22Speaker 2: Yeah, we said, hey, can we be in the movie?
- 1:55:23Speaker 2: He's like, No.
- 1:55:25Speaker 6: All of our extra slots are filled.
- 1:55:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:55:28Speaker 2: Joe Coy, we love you, man.
- 1:55:29Speaker 4: I love you guys. All right.
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: The Woody Show. Hey, so we just brought her up recently. Oh,
- 1:55:40Speaker 2: I know why. Because we were talking about Howard Stern,
- 1:55:46Speaker 2: and he did that deal with HBO Max. So Howard
- 1:55:50Speaker 2: is now doing one show a week.
- 1:55:52Speaker 4: Lucky.
- 1:55:53Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:55:53Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 1:55:55Speaker 2: One day, one show, and then that show gets cut up,
- 1:55:59Speaker 2: and then they make it into a show that's going
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: to be on HBO Max, which that starts this week.
- 1:56:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:56:05Speaker 2: Yeah. And having conversations with different people, like, oh, did
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: you see that?
- 1:56:09Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah.
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: I just wonder, like, because, like, look, I'm a lifelong
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: Howard Stern fan, admirer. There's no more admiration I could
- 1:56:23Speaker 2: pile on to him and his career and what he's
- 1:56:26Speaker 2: done and everything else. That said, if we're being fair,
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: you just don't hear anybody talking about him these days.
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: I forget he exists until his face pops up in
- 1:56:35Speaker 2: the headlines. Other than in radio circles. That's where I
- 1:56:38Speaker 2: hear about him. I don't hear anybody outside my radio life.
- 1:56:41Speaker 2: I never hear any conversation. It never used to be
- 1:56:43Speaker 2: that way. Every once in a while, there'll be an
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: interview or something that pops up.
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: Some clip.
- 1:56:50Speaker 4: Right, but very rare.
- 1:56:51Speaker 2: And I was having this conversation with somebody. I said,
- 1:56:53Speaker 2: I just wonder how much people will care about that
- 1:56:56Speaker 2: or how much interest will there be in that? Because
- 1:56:58Speaker 2: even among the hardcore fans, he evolved and I don't
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: fault him for that. Like the show and him as
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: a person, he evolved. And so a lot of the
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: Howard that everybody fell in love with doesn't exist anymore.
- 1:57:13Speaker 2: For whatever reason, you can read all about that online.
- 1:57:15Speaker 2: That's not what this is about. And then I said,
- 1:57:18Speaker 2: you know, dude, even Oprah is not relevant anymore. As
- 1:57:24Speaker 2: soon as we say this.
- 1:57:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:57:25Speaker 2: Oh, I know. Oprah is going to Vegas for her
- 1:57:28Speaker 2: own show at the Sphere.
- 1:57:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:57:30Speaker 2: What? It's called Oprah Winfrey's Aha.
- 1:57:34Speaker 9: Uh-huh.
- 1:57:35Speaker 2: And she's doing four performances, April 2nd through the 4th
- 1:57:39Speaker 2: of next year.
- 1:57:40Speaker 3: Performances.
- 1:57:41Speaker 2: It's going to be music, poetry, storytelling.
- 1:57:43Speaker 7: There's a ton of guests, people I've never heard of.
- 1:57:46Speaker 6: So it's like a variety show?
- 1:57:48Speaker 2: It sounds like it would be the oprah winfrey show
- 1:57:50Speaker 2: with music and performances i guess.
- 1:57:53Speaker 7: Yeah it's supposed to be from what i could tell
- 1:57:55Speaker 7: like an art experience.
- 1:57:57Speaker 2: Okay cool i mean i mean.
- 1:58:00Speaker 7: Obviously it's a sphere there's gonna be a ton of
- 1:58:02Speaker 7: visuals so i'm sure there'll be like people talking with
- 1:58:05Speaker 7: visuals behind them.
- 1:58:07Speaker 2: Yeah Speaking of Howard and Oprah Winfrey, one of my
- 1:58:10Speaker 2: favorite clips of all, as a Howard fan, one of
- 1:58:12Speaker 2: my favorite clips of all time was when he would,
- 1:58:13Speaker 2: every time Oprah would come up, he'd play this. Oprah Winfrey,
- 1:58:17Speaker 2: Negro woman of the South. I love that. It's so funny.
- 1:58:21Speaker 2: Oprah Winfrey. So every time somebody mentions Oprah in my mind,
- 1:58:24Speaker 2: I'm going, Oprah Winfrey. Negro woman of the South. I
- 1:58:29Speaker 2: forget what that, it was some guy who sent him
- 1:58:31Speaker 2: a tape of some rant or something. He was trying
- 1:58:34Speaker 2: to get the powers of 10. It was so stupid.
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: The middle-aged woman worship of Oprah kind of creeps me out.
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:58:39Speaker 3: It kind of bums me out.
- 1:58:40Speaker 6: Well, like at the height of its powers, it was cultish.
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:58:44Speaker 3: That's the word I'm looking for.
- 1:58:45Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe.
- 1:58:45Speaker 3: It's cultish.
- 1:58:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:58:47Speaker 2: I mean, I, God, how do you not appreciate what
- 1:58:50Speaker 2: she accomplished? Oh my God.
- 1:58:52Speaker 3: It's incredible.
- 1:58:54Speaker 2: Unquestionably. Imagine if she was like Greg and she checks
- 1:58:56Speaker 2: her bank account every day.
- 1:58:58Speaker 6: Her head would fall off.
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: Imagine how cool that is. Imagine how cool that is.
- 1:59:04Speaker 3: Oh my God. That would be a dream. Yeah.
- 1:59:06Speaker 2: So tickets start for that at the Oprah at the Sphere, $ 145.
- 1:59:09Speaker 8: Damn.
- 1:59:09Speaker 4: Starting.
- 1:59:13Speaker 2: Yeah, they started $ 145. Are we going or what?
- 1:59:18Speaker 8: No.
- 1:59:19Speaker 2: Hell no. I have not seen anything at the Sphere yet.
- 1:59:22Speaker 2: The first thing I will see at the Sphere, I
- 1:59:24Speaker 2: have tickets for Metallica, but that's not until February. It's
- 1:59:27Speaker 2: going to roll. It's awesome.
- 1:59:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:59:29Speaker 3: They're going to make more.
- 1:59:30Speaker 2: I'm very excited about it.
- 1:59:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:59:31Speaker 3: More Sphere's like around the world.
- 1:59:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:59:34Speaker 7: Over in Abu Dhabi.
- 1:59:36Speaker 6: Oh, I won't go there.
- 1:59:37Speaker 3: Well, no.
- 1:59:37Speaker 2: I was reading something about how, man, the Sphere is
- 1:59:40Speaker 2: getting its ass kicked. Oh, I mean, yeah, they say the...
- 1:59:44Speaker 2: There were all these plans. Yeah, there were all these
- 1:59:46Speaker 2: plans to build other ones in the United States, and
- 1:59:48Speaker 2: now they're not doing that.
- 1:59:51Speaker 4: They're like, nope.
- 1:59:51Speaker 7: You know who's killing it is Cosm. Cosm, who is
- 1:59:54Speaker 7: like a super scaled down version. They just opened another
- 1:59:58Speaker 7: one in Detroit. They have one, I think, opened out
- 2:00:02Speaker 7: in Atlanta. There's going to be like 13 different cities
- 2:00:06Speaker 7: that are going to have Cosm.
- 2:00:07Speaker 4: That's going to be ridiculous.
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: That's going to be huge. Yeah, those are cool.
- 2:00:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:00:10Speaker 2: I've seen the one in Dallas. Right. It was cool.
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:00:15Speaker 2: Cool place. It feels like you're sitting front row at
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: a game. Yeah, you are. Yeah, it's pretty cool.
- 2:00:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:00:20Speaker 2: Oh, Giants running back. You know, this Cam Scadabo. This guy,
- 2:00:26Speaker 2: he's a killer, man. He's a really good player. And
- 2:00:29Speaker 2: so he is a big deal for the Giants fans.
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: You might not know him. Like, he's a casual person.
- 2:00:34Speaker 2: May not know the name yet. I think he's one
- 2:00:37Speaker 2: of those guys, the more you're watching football, you're going
- 2:00:39Speaker 2: to hear about him because he's an exciting player.
- 2:00:41Speaker 7: Yeah, and even in circles like gaming and streaming and
- 2:00:44Speaker 7: all that stuff.
- 2:00:44Speaker 2: He's got a huge following.
- 2:00:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:00:46Speaker 2: So anyway, you would think he wouldn't have this problem.
- 2:00:50Speaker 2: This is so, it reminds me of us at any
- 2:00:56Speaker 2: iHeart thing.
- 2:00:57Speaker 4: Okay.
- 2:00:58Speaker 2: Okay, so this is before the Sunday night football game.
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: Security didn't know who he was. He got stuck outside
- 2:01:05Speaker 2: MetLife Stadium. He's got his giant Ford F-350. He's coming
- 2:01:10Speaker 2: in through the player lot. And he was just hanging
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: out the window going, let me in. I'm the running back.
- 2:01:16Speaker 6: How much more specific do you need me to be?
- 2:01:20Speaker 2: I'm the running back. And he finally made it inside.
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: And he scored the Giants' first touchdown. I mean, he
- 2:01:25Speaker 2: did the cartwheel and the backflip, the whole thing. Yeah, dude.
- 2:01:29Speaker 2: So he had to have surgery because he hurt himself
- 2:01:33Speaker 2: last year. busted up his ankle really bad. But, dude,
- 2:01:36Speaker 2: imagine being good enough to play in the NFL, but
- 2:01:40Speaker 2: you can't even get past your own security guard.
- 2:01:42Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 2:01:43Speaker 2: At your home stadium, not even like you're on the road.
- 2:01:45Speaker 6: This should be no problem.
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: Like, Giants fans are obsessed with this guy, and rightfully so.
- 2:01:50Speaker 2: He's a really good player.
- 2:01:53Speaker 7: That just happened to me recently at one of our offices.
- 2:01:55Speaker 3: See?
- 2:01:55Speaker 7: Yeah, my card, I tried to go to one of
- 2:01:58Speaker 7: our offices.
- 2:01:59Speaker 2: Where our show is aired.
- 2:02:00Speaker 7: Yeah, and my key card was.
- 2:02:03Speaker 2: Denied. Disconnected.
- 2:02:05Speaker 4: And people recognized me. They're like, oh, hey, what's up?
- 2:02:08Speaker 4: They're like, yeah, wait out here.
- 2:02:10Speaker 2: Wait out here.
- 2:02:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:02:11Speaker 3: Not open the door.
- 2:02:12Speaker 2: And let me in.
- 2:02:13Speaker 7: No, no, come on in, we'll fix it. Like, no,
- 2:02:15Speaker 7: I had to wait for a while. And then they eventually...
- 2:02:17Speaker 7: I would have just left. Come in.
- 2:02:19Speaker 6: Yeah, I tried.
- 2:02:19Speaker 4: I did my part.
- 2:02:20Speaker 3: I was with a mutual friend of ours at Lollapalooza
- 2:02:22Speaker 3: one year. And Beck was on the lineup and he
- 2:02:25Speaker 3: didn't have the proper pass to get backstage. And we
- 2:02:28Speaker 3: were witnessing this.
- 2:02:30Speaker 2: Like, that's Beck. He's the headliner.
- 2:02:32Speaker 6: Who needs to vouch for me?
- 2:02:33Speaker 3: He couldn't get up there.
- 2:02:34Speaker 2: And somewhat recently, Slash was trying to get in somewhere. Oh, yeah.
- 2:02:36Speaker 2: And then he had to walk all the way down.
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: But he was cool about it. He wasn't like, I'm Slash. Right.
- 2:02:41Speaker 2: But like, how do you not recognize Slash?
- 2:02:43Speaker 7: Yeah, he's pretty recognizable.
- 2:02:44Speaker 2: He's Slash, dude.
- 2:02:46Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:02:46Speaker 6: There's only one.
- 2:02:48Speaker 2: Wasn't it like some, it was like a rock show
- 2:02:50Speaker 2: or something. Like you would think somebody working at a
- 2:02:52Speaker 2: rock venue.
- 2:02:53Speaker 3: Might know.
- 2:02:54Speaker 2: Might know Slash.
- 2:02:55Speaker 3: Pretty sure our moms would know who Slash is.
- 2:02:57Speaker 2: I keep waiting for the day that we show up
- 2:02:59Speaker 2: here and our card doesn't work. It's coming.
- 2:03:02Speaker 3: Every morning.
- 2:03:03Speaker 2: Oh, it's coming.
- 2:03:04Speaker 3: I like hearing that beep every morning.
- 2:03:07Speaker 6: Same.
- 2:03:07Speaker 2: Yeah, the light turns green. You're like, all right, good.
- 2:03:11Speaker 3: One of these days.
- 2:03:12Speaker 7: I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll turn around.
- 2:03:15Speaker 3: Go back to bed.
- 2:03:15Speaker 7: I'll go back to bed and then I'll Call somebody later.
- 2:03:19Speaker 1: Right.
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not working. Well, we all know what happened
- 2:03:22Speaker 2: at that point.
- 2:03:23Speaker 3: Sleeping in.
- 2:03:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Dude, like, yeah, there's so much weird stuff that's happening,
- 2:03:31Speaker 2: not just in our industry, just in the world. And man,
- 2:03:34Speaker 2: you just, you feel it. So if you show up
- 2:03:36Speaker 2: and your card doesn't work all of a sudden, you
- 2:03:39Speaker 2: know what's up.
- 2:03:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: Like, dude, I had muckety mucks from this company look
- 2:03:42Speaker 2: me right in the face and tell me, that I
- 2:03:47Speaker 2: should spend less time and have less concern over the
- 2:03:50Speaker 2: content and what we do on the show. And I
- 2:03:53Speaker 2: should be spending more of my time doing the sales
- 2:03:57Speaker 2: department's job. Like I should be in the sales department
- 2:04:00Speaker 2: spending more time there. I was told point blank, you
- 2:04:03Speaker 2: should be spending less time. And then they tried to
- 2:04:06Speaker 2: tell me they don't care about ratings. And I go, well,
- 2:04:09Speaker 2: that doesn't make any sense.
- 2:04:10Speaker 3: How could both be true?
- 2:04:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:04:12Speaker 2: And I go, are you serious? Yeah. And I go, Okay.
- 2:04:18Speaker 2: So who does the other part? Oh, don't worry about that. Oh,
- 2:04:22Speaker 2: don't worry about the content.
- 2:04:24Speaker 6: Listeners would love that.
- 2:04:25Speaker 2: Don't worry about like, I go, well, if we do that,
- 2:04:29Speaker 2: people won't listen. And then you don't have an audience
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: to sell anything to. There's, there's nobody to message to.
- 2:04:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:04:37Speaker 3: This is so bad.
- 2:04:39Speaker 2: It's so bad. So by the way, we're not doing that.
- 2:04:40Speaker 2: I mean, we are like, we're, we're, we're working on
- 2:04:43Speaker 2: some things to, you know, uh, try to help sales
- 2:04:46Speaker 2: out more and it's not their fault. They're overwhelmed too.
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:04:49Speaker 2: They're overwhelmed and they have, but I said, all right,
- 2:04:52Speaker 2: so when I go, are they, are they supposed to
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: then reciprocate? Like, I go down on them and then
- 2:04:58Speaker 2: they go down on me with some like contest ideas
- 2:05:01Speaker 2: or topic ideas.
- 2:05:02Speaker 4: Awesome.
- 2:05:02Speaker 2: Like, is it like 69 and kind of thing? Like
- 2:05:04Speaker 2: I help you, you help me or whatever.
- 2:05:07Speaker 3: What are we doing tomorrow on the show?
- 2:05:08Speaker 2: And yeah, no. So it's, it's, it's really weird, but
- 2:05:11Speaker 2: we're not, we're not doing that. And I, then I
- 2:05:13Speaker 2: read an article, another guy who does what we do
- 2:05:16Speaker 2: and for the same company. And he goes, yeah, he goes,
- 2:05:19Speaker 2: you know, I, I'm in a great situation. He goes
- 2:05:21Speaker 2: where he goes, I, you know, everything I do, I,
- 2:05:24Speaker 2: but the audience comes first. I go, yes, that's exactly what,
- 2:05:27Speaker 2: that's exactly what our marching orders are around here.
- 2:05:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 2:05:32Speaker 2: On this show. Like we're constantly working on stuff. We're
- 2:05:34Speaker 2: trying to figure out like something to kind of switch
- 2:05:36Speaker 2: it up or keep it interesting. And, um, you know,
- 2:05:39Speaker 2: cause that, that's, that's the most important. We figure if
- 2:05:40Speaker 2: we bring a, audience like then they'll have you know
- 2:05:43Speaker 2: audience to sell to it's worked out to this point
- 2:05:45Speaker 2: pretty well yeah yeah but if we're gonna be told
- 2:05:49Speaker 2: focus less on the audience like you're taking for granted
- 2:05:51Speaker 2: the fact that people and a lot of companies do
- 2:05:53Speaker 2: this where they they take for granted they think that
- 2:05:54Speaker 2: people will just always be there no matter what no
- 2:05:57Speaker 2: matter that's why customer service sucks so bad oh they're
- 2:05:59Speaker 2: fine they're still gonna keep our cell service they're still
- 2:06:02Speaker 2: gonna keep our yeah they're still gonna have us do
- 2:06:04Speaker 2: uh you know work on their hvac system or whatever
- 2:06:06Speaker 2: whatever it is they'll be no you you you don't
- 2:06:10Speaker 2: take care of the customer you don't take care of
- 2:06:12Speaker 2: the listener in our case like that that goes away
- 2:06:15Speaker 2: it does because there's too many choices now so yeah
- 2:06:18Speaker 2: if you're not with it they'll move to somebody yeah
- 2:06:20Speaker 2: whatever the.
- 2:06:20Speaker 7: Industry i was just reading some you're on the right
- 2:06:23Speaker 7: track because i was just reading some uh recent um
- 2:06:25Speaker 7: marketing trade stuff and they said that companies who are
- 2:06:29Speaker 7: spending money on ads are not caring about people with
- 2:06:33Speaker 7: massive Instagram account followings anymore. All they care about is
- 2:06:38Speaker 7: people with passionate audiences.
- 2:06:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, right.
- 2:06:40Speaker 6: That's refreshing.
- 2:06:42Speaker 2: So the engagement, like, you know.
- 2:06:43Speaker 7: Yeah, so people, again, they want people that have audience
- 2:06:48Speaker 7: that engage.
- 2:06:49Speaker 2: And then I got told, well, you're not going to
- 2:06:52Speaker 2: station events. I go, what are you talking about?
- 2:06:53Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 2:06:54Speaker 2: I go to all of them. Where are you? Yeah,
- 2:06:57Speaker 2: I go to all. There was one I didn't go to,
- 2:06:59Speaker 2: and it turns out The one that they were giving
- 2:07:02Speaker 2: me all this crap about not going to.
- 2:07:03Speaker 3: The one they asked you about 50 times? That one?
- 2:07:06Speaker 2: No. Oh.
- 2:07:07Speaker 8: No.
- 2:07:07Speaker 2: It was this other one. And this is the one
- 2:07:09Speaker 2: where like, well, you didn't go to the blah, blah, blah.
- 2:07:10Speaker 2: I go, what are you talking about? Turns out I
- 2:07:14Speaker 2: wasn't even invited. Oh my God. And you know why
- 2:07:17Speaker 2: I didn't know about it? Because it was a big
- 2:07:19Speaker 2: meeting or a big schmooze fest with all these different
- 2:07:22Speaker 2: like big car manufacturers and car dealerships and everything else.
- 2:07:25Speaker 2: And like, well, so-and-so went and so-and-so, but you weren't there.
- 2:07:29Speaker 2: I go, I don't know what you're talking about. This
- 2:07:31Speaker 2: is like one of the big bosses. I don't know
- 2:07:32Speaker 2: what you're talking about.
- 2:07:33Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 2:07:34Speaker 7: I didn't find out about that until the next day, too.
- 2:07:35Speaker 2: You weren't invited. i wasn't invited to go no you
- 2:07:38Speaker 2: were invited and so and so was there and so
- 2:07:40Speaker 2: i'm like i wasn't invited no and he went and
- 2:07:43Speaker 2: checked with his assistant turns out i wasn't invited oh
- 2:07:45Speaker 2: my god and you want to know why because we
- 2:07:47Speaker 2: already have a car sponsorship.
- 2:07:50Speaker 4: We didn't need to go but then.
- 2:07:52Speaker 2: That story got told to people above them and it's
- 2:07:55Speaker 2: like oh well woody's not dragging your name yeah the
- 2:07:57Speaker 2: woody show is not contributing to blah blah blah blah
- 2:07:59Speaker 2: i'm like what are you talking what focus less on
- 2:08:01Speaker 2: the on the content and on the stuff you're doing
- 2:08:03Speaker 2: on the show and spend more time walking around the
- 2:08:05Speaker 2: sales department which they're fine again this is not a
- 2:08:08Speaker 2: knock on the sales department fine.
- 2:08:10Speaker 6: People they're awesome a lot of them are great.
- 2:08:11Speaker 2: It's just like man talk about losing focus little weird
- 2:08:15Speaker 2: not surprised yeah so like when I hear about cam
- 2:08:17Speaker 2: scattered but like not being able to get into the
- 2:08:19Speaker 2: stadium I go through bro I feel you forget it
- 2:08:23Speaker 2: I completely relate you ever feel invisible at the place
- 2:08:26Speaker 2: that you work sure I think most people do like
- 2:08:29Speaker 2: not here they don't even know who you.
- 2:08:30Speaker 3: Are even out in the world yeah I asked myself
- 2:08:33Speaker 3: that Am I invisible?
- 2:08:34Speaker 2: Way to go, Craig. Nice work, Craig. Good job, Gary.
- 2:08:39Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 2:08:41Speaker 4: Just last week, I was here in the hallway.
- 2:08:44Speaker 2: I got one for you, too.
- 2:08:45Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 2:08:45Speaker 7: And we were just like, I was talking with these clients,
- 2:08:49Speaker 7: and we're having this long conversation. And then our sales
- 2:08:54Speaker 7: guy is like, Yeah, to my face and to the
- 2:08:56Speaker 7: clients who already heard my name.
- 2:08:58Speaker 4: Say, yeah, Woody here. He's great.
- 2:09:00Speaker 2: I'm just going to tell you that. I got introduced
- 2:09:01Speaker 2: as Menace. No, stop. Yeah, Woody's great.
- 2:09:05Speaker 7: I'm like, did you not just stand here for 10
- 2:09:07Speaker 7: minutes while we all had a conversation?
- 2:09:09Speaker 4: Are you not paying attention?
- 2:09:10Speaker 2: I got introduced as Menace.
- 2:09:13Speaker 3: I'm not surprised.
- 2:09:14Speaker 2: This is like a couple weeks ago.
- 2:09:15Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 2:09:16Speaker 2: All right, man. Take care, menace. I'm like, all right,
- 2:09:19Speaker 2: no problem.
- 2:09:19Speaker 6: Blood.
- 2:09:20Speaker 4: Joe.
- 2:09:21Speaker 2: He had some cheeky. It's just like.
- 2:09:24Speaker 4: Yee.
- 2:09:24Speaker 2: Yee.
- 2:09:25Speaker 4: It's just like, no. Yee. What?
- 2:09:29Speaker 2: I'm like.
- 2:09:31Speaker 4: No, but it goes all the way around. It's just like.
- 2:09:33Speaker 11: Oh, my God.
- 2:09:34Speaker 7: You're asking people for money. And it's like, dude, just
- 2:09:37Speaker 7: pay attention.
- 2:09:37Speaker 11: Look.
- 2:09:38Speaker 2: So I guess the long story short, long story longer,
- 2:09:42Speaker 2: we're not abandoning the audience. Don't worry. It's still going
- 2:09:45Speaker 2: to be the same. You're the only ones who still
- 2:09:47Speaker 2: like us. It doesn't sound like we put a lot
- 2:09:49Speaker 2: of effort into this, but we do. I promise you.
- 2:09:51Speaker 2: And that won't change. We just have to, you know.

- 2:11:53Speaker 6: I'm legally dead.
