- 3:20[SPEAKER_10]: I said, Mom, go ask Google how much Verizon spends on advertising and promotion.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_10]: A few seconds later, my mother said, oh my goodness, $12 billion a year, that must be a typo.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_10]: I'll tell you what I told my mom, it's not a typo.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_10]: Verizon spends $12 billion a year on advertising and promotion and their customers are paying for it.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_10]: Well, peer talk doesn't spend that kind of money on commercials, trust me, I would know.

- 5:56[SPEAKER_14]: Well, good afternoon.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_14]: Now, I'm Jeff Graham.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_14]: This is the hotline.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_14]: On AM-1240, you're doing some talk with the radio, whatever station it is, with the station without Jimmy Kimmel.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_14]: was a lead story of Diane's new newscast was a Jimmy Kimmel getting pulled off the air.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_14]: They don't tell you is that there's a local tie to that.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_14]: The two companies that, uh, that's an economic decision, it's not of, nobody, stop this first amendment nonsense.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_14]: You don't have a right to say whatever you want on somebody else's license stations.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_14]: I don't have a right to say whatever I want here.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, and it isn't just the, oh, the seven words.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, that's, that's carlin' area stuff.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_14]: There's a lot of words that you're getting trouble for.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_14]: Now, I don't know if I would've gotten in trouble for crass comments about Charlie Kirk's death here.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_14]: I, you know, probably not, but, you know, sometimes people are sick of it.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_14]: The sick of the Trump derangedments syndrome and everything.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_14]: They got co-bear off, it's because of low ratings.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_14]: The reason this shows on the air is because somebody who owns a station thinks there's some monetary value in it or community value in terms of public affairs obligations.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_14]: God knows it's not a lot of public affairs programming left and news deserts like we live in.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_14]: So he doesn't have a right to be on there.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_14]: They put Steve Harvey on with celebrity family food.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_14]: I'd rather watch Steve Harvey any day than Jimmy Kimmel.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, anyway, Channel 50, a good friend's at Channel 50, right down on the square.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_14]: They're owned by next star.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_14]: Now, next star owns a boatload of TV stations, including quite a few ABC affiliates.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_14]: So they said, we're not going to carry the show anymore.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_14]: They're the licensees, not ABC.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_14]: They can make that decision.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_14]: They have to operate in the public interest convenience and necessity.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_14]: So then the sinclair television stations, I don't know how many there are.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_14]: They followed suit, ABC said, well, didn't it?
- 8:05[SPEAKER_14]: That big a trunk of the stations aren't carrying the show.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_14]: Maybe we better put Steve Harvey on.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_14]: Now I suspect, I suspect you become all run over to Colbert's studio, a Sullivan studio, whatever.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_14]: And the on there tonight, whining and moaning about a trunk did this to Trump didn't do anything to him.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_14]: Mm-hmm.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_14]: Now, I do disagree with the top federal broadcast regulator going on handedly last night, saying what he did.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_14]: I thought he should just stay at home, but I can't or certainly not got a comment on what Mr. Carter does.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_14]: So anyway, that's all going on.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_14]: And there's anybody watching me come on.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_14]: I never do that.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_14]: I've watched Cutfeld and that's it.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_14]: By then, I'm done.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_14]: Now, who's the old foul on Jimmy Fallon and NBC?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_14]: I hope he's smart enough not to host the other two or Kim on his show tonight.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_14]: He'll be next.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_14]: Who owns ABC, Disney?
- 9:16[SPEAKER_14]: They're all, everybody.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_14]: ABC has eight Owen O's, owned and operated stations.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_14]: used to be you were limited to like seven but now you can have as many as you want and about two hundred and thirty stations total so if the stations don't want to clear the program and the program is not making your money anyway there goes the program that's what it's all about it's not about his right to go on there and trump bash trump
- 9:47[SPEAKER_14]: Well, who's a story for you?
- 9:48[SPEAKER_14]: This is some, I don't know.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_14]: I'm surprised this didn't make our hometown family local news.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_14]: I would have led with it, because I believe if it bleeds it leads.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_14]: Mm-hmm.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_14]: I think it was last night of the night before.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_14]: down on the square and a building Jake Johnson owns it is a building he doesn't own but anyway there's a barber shop on the side south side of the square over near the Franklin Street intersection and there's video some guy with a hood on coming up to the hammer just smashing the window out and I say well well big deals cost to do in business it's a tax deduction you'll hear people say that
- 10:31[SPEAKER_14]: That's a big hit for a small business.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_14]: Not only you lose the window, and it looks like you're closed, you gotta find somebody to board it up for you, you gotta find somebody.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_14]: Try to get a window replaced quickly in this town.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_14]: It's not gonna happen.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_14]: So, plus you expense, so you get an expense.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_14]: May or may not be insured against, but that doesn't matter.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_14]: That doesn't matter.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_14]: Somebody's livelihood.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_14]: was put on hold and why and what'll happen to guy was wearing a hood nobody's going to get arrested and if he gets arrested revolving door city court he'll be out the door yeah that should be top of mind for the media that kind of violent act but it's not because they think it's so low brow to cover crime and that kind of stuff
- 11:27[SPEAKER_14]: They think a guy who says if it bleeds, it leads, it's just beneath them.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_14]: And I don't know, I think it's a, it's a big, so, I think Millie's going to be calling in around 12-30 to talk about not only the Charlie Kirk thing, but also, she went to the school board meeting the other night they don't want her there, they don't want her there.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_14]: She's been speaking ill of Mr. Yukon, you know, the superintendent.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, you're not supposed to do that.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_14]: But did you see where the school district paid out $3 million in a settlement over a sexual harassment case involving a teacher?
- 12:11[SPEAKER_14]: And I guess I've student 60 years ago.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_14]: Because state here in New York, they removed any kind of time bar on these kind of suits.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_14]: So the lookback is forever.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_14]: So they extorted $3 million out of the city school this way.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_14]: It's, you know, I know, this came up a few weeks ago, there was something in the paper and I did have the name of the teacher.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_14]: I forgot the name of the people who got it.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_14]: Of course, the lawyers get at least a million or a million five out of that.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_14]: That's just profitable selling a golf course.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_14]: So, you know, it's just something.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_14]: Three million dollars.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_14]: You can get a turf field for that, I got it.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_14]: Now, it has nothing to do with the current administration or staff, but should they have folded like they did?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_14]: How do you even prove something like that?
- 13:10[SPEAKER_14]: 60 years later?
- 13:11[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_14]: then somebody checks in, let's talk about the Epstein files.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_14]: I don't care about the Epstein files, guy.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_14]: Unless you've got to be living room and write me over to look at him, I don't even know if there are any files.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_14]: So I know that there's the big, you know, giggling over the money.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_14]: The demo says, I don't care about the Epstein files.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_14]: But if it's a web issue, you can use to get people like Adam Schiff elected the Congress, go ahead.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_14]: Go ahead.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_14]: All right, uh, what else are you going to, I can't really text of me.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_14]: Somebody's supposed to come in here tomorrow to talk about, um, a darkness walk at Thompson Park.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, go ahead to do it.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_14]: But, what that is, I guess we'll find out.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_14]: Um, let's see what else.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, somebody
- 14:15[SPEAKER_14]: And we'll see what Millie says when she call it, we love Millie.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_14]: You know, former First Lady of Watertown and just a charming individual.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_14]: But after you do in your on the air.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_14]: Hello?
- 14:26[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, I thought I'd get in some way of stuff early, because my favorite girls from Nabilia just said, huh?
- 14:31[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, yeah.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_21]: Hey, I made the boat tour and the boat castle.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_21]: We did that trip yesterday, and all my dash was a beautiful.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_21]: And it was a great week to go.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_21]: because the weather is so nice and we really like escorted surrounded by all these wooden empty boats from their quailies for a week.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_21]: So we were a mixture of a bunch of goody man, I know it's a thing.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_14]: Right, I enjoyed it.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_14]: But I did, was Samantha there?
- 15:06[SPEAKER_21]: No, no, and there was not a big crowd at all.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_21]: No, but tell me if you ought to go.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, well, tomorrow would be the day to do it.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, you don't see Scott if I passed to get on.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know why she doesn't go on the boat.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_14]: She always talks about it.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_14]: The weather is not going to be this good forever.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, she didn't sleep in her house.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_21]: Spain, she got to sleep ticket.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_21]: Well, I don't know.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_21]: If she's smoking pot, maybe she'd have a little more desire to do something with a bit of a little fun.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_14]: I don't think so.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_14]: I don't think so.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_14]: I don't think she does anything bad.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_14]: She's a virtuous woman.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_14]: Mm-hmm.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_21]: The boat tour was beautiful.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_21]: And the class of beautiful really impress me with the man sleeping, the flower guidance,
- 16:09[SPEAKER_21]: And I'd recommend everybody's very good experience.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_14]: OK, thank you.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_14]: All right, madam.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_14]: Somebody text it in, get someone in from City Hall to talk about the budget shortfall.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_14]: Well, they're welcome.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_14]: These two microphones right here, but in addition to mine.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_14]: But no, we got to like the officials.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_14]: They can't.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_14]: They thought they'd call it and talk about it.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_14]: It's as simple as that.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, I'm not getting anybody to do anything.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_14]: They don't, somebody wants to come in or I'm ordered to, you know, or from told to do it.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_14]: I do it.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_14]: I do what I'm told here.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_14]: I don't want to end up like Jimmy Kimmel.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_14]: And then exactly.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_14]: 755, 1240 is the phone number.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_14]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today, and we can talk about anything you want within the balance, just a good taste.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_14]: Yep.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_14]: Well, let's look at news, Junkie again.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_14]: When they keep coming up with these weight reduction prognosis, now they got pills.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_14]: You don't have to get the engine.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_14]: I rather take a pill.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_14]: But I don't know.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_14]: You get worried about that kind of stuff.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_14]: Worried.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, let's see.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_14]: There's a brush fire out by 81.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_14]: It's a couple stories, one of a news junkie about communities moving away from residency requirements.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_14]: Another is a discussion on the strong mirror governance.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_14]: Now, they're going to, oh yeah, the council rates, I was looking, I saw something.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know if it was a meme page or something about candidate Anthony Velazquez, but it was nasty.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_14]: I can't even repeat it on it.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_14]: It was just nasty.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_14]: And if that's what's going to happen here, I mean, I don't know.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, yeah, you speak anything goes, you know.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_14]: Well, that's not true.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_14]: There's consequences to it.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_14]: And yeah, I got to see if I, I don't know if there's two meme pages now, right?
- 18:27[SPEAKER_14]: You can't keep track of it all.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_14]: Can't keep track.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_14]: But after you're doing it on the air,
- 18:36[SPEAKER_24]: I'm glad that you, uh, I'm, I'll take a mic off.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, go ahead.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_24]: Can't, can't tell I listen to talk radio a lot, can you?
- 18:45[SPEAKER_14]: No.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_24]: So, so there's an, I got a great idea for the city.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_24]: I wish the council people who we pay would think of good things to do and anything and I'm not in.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_17]: Hmm.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_24]: All right, here's a cost saving measure that cost the city nothing would save, I don't even know how much.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_24]: make the residential streets in water count one way streets.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_24]: Almost all of them should be one way streets or a benefit that would be.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_14]: Well they do that New York City obviously out of the alternate street shop in Manhattan.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_24]: Do that in Philadelphia so easy to get around the plowing
- 19:35[SPEAKER_24]: I could talk for the whole rest of the show on just the advantages of it.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_24]: The safety factor is the main one, and it costs almost nothing, well, it's got to put signs up, they don't cost much.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_24]: Anyway, I don't know why, you know, that's just one, yeah, you know, we don't need a sidewalk on both sides of the streets of residential areas, that's so silly, but anyways, let's see
- 20:05[SPEAKER_24]: City fathers have to say about that.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_24]: I mean the city mothers have to say about that.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, we'll find out All right, thank you I don't know what anybody has to say about it Um Now for check and see if there's anything new on the water town post It's water town post that kind of a story about Tylenol don't care about that Hmm
- 20:36[SPEAKER_14]: not a lot new there, no, but it's always worth checking on all these things.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_14]: That's how you keep in the stream of information.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_14]: It's nobody's going to put it on your door step anymore.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_14]: Those days are gone.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_14]: Those days are gone when the gatekeepers gave you 11 minutes of newshole.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_14]: in the back page and the paper had it was good everybody went there first nobody looked at the front page you could have had I was said you know if the president was shot but it happened on public square with they put it on the front page of the back page I think they would have put it on the back page and he had all those ads telling you about the like clubs were in the band's playing and those were the days now it's like we live in information we got more information than ever but in some ways less
- 21:25[SPEAKER_14]: and people don't know anything now.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_14]: But after dinner on the air.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, you're good to talk.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_22]: I thought it was coming to rest me.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_22]: Uh-huh.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_22]: And that's an area I think is, uh-huh.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_22]: Still there.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I'm still here.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_14]: Turn your radio down.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, OK.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_22]: I should have put on mute.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_22]: I'm sorry.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_14]: I'm going ahead.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_22]: I had a blue tomb on the night.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_14]: Go ahead and talk.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_22]: It's our free speech.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_22]: However, you want to measure that by any terminology or any definition or any opinion review is under fire.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_22]: And you mentioned about the solid being fired, and I look people being fired.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_22]: The President Trump wants to go to the Fed board, remove he's now going to the Supreme Court asking them to allow him to fire.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_22]: But overall,
- 22:25[SPEAKER_22]: And just goes back to a statement on her journey from Stephen Miller's or Lighthouse deputy chief staff, you know, Stephen Miller, don't you?
- 22:32[SPEAKER_22]: Oh yeah, he said he, this is his quote, not my quote, his exact quote, we vow to use the full force of the government to disrupt dismantle and destroy the left of the needing organizations of this country.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_22]: Think about that for minutes.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_22]: So that is their pledge, that is their bow.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_14]: I don't think, on the first of all, I do have misgivings about that, Danny, but as I recall, the IRS and the Obama years was certainly going after conservative entities.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_14]: And so it goes on, unfortunately, back to Jayad Guhuva, he would go after people for political reasons.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_14]: It goes on in the government.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_22]: the worst.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_22]: The record of the FBI ever.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_14]: He was a cross-dresser.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, but you know, just as I are going after people.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_14]: Well, they do it all the time.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_14]: Unfortunately, that's gone out a lot.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_14]: And I agree.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_14]: I have misgivings about what Mr. Miller says, about what Chairman
- 23:51[SPEAKER_14]: But the Jimmy Kimmel, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait
- 24:11[SPEAKER_14]: It's a little bit different, but look at stations like it.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_14]: Look at shows like Sean Hannity, who you're familiar with, and probably don't like.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_14]: He's carried on this station.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_14]: There's nothing that says he has a right to be on this station.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_14]: The owner decided to put him on there because it's economically a good thing.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_22]: If enough stations... If I don't like him, I don't listen.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_14]: Right.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_14]: If enough stations or groups of stations drop Sean, then probably they're...
- 24:34[SPEAKER_14]: You know, whatever he's running there would have a problem.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_14]: Same thing with the chemical thing.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_14]: You can't run the show.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_14]: If half your affiliates are dropping drop in the show.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_22]: But see, they had pressure put on them from the white outs to close them down.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_22]: They have all the ABCCBS, whatever, as a paramount thing.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_22]: What about the white house right now is dictating the policy?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_14]: No, no, no.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_14]: Now there's channel 50 and water town is a next star station.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_14]: That's one of the two companies that pull the show off this week.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_14]: Now perhaps channel 50 gets feedback from their advertisers and listen viewers and stuff saying they don't like this Trump derangedments syndrome stuff on every.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_14]: late night show and maybe they said we don't want to carry it anymore so they that channels up through the next our hierarchy wherever it is and they they came through decision it's a business decision Danny it's not a first amendment issue well he did did you hear cable said he jacked words did you listen to the video I did but he's he look at I mean he was not succeeding in the market place if you
- 25:50[SPEAKER_22]: That's not why they got it, they got it for the speech that he did.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know if that well he made one we nobody should be fired for one remark or one word I don't go for that nonsense, but listen I mean of course if there's a pattern and I don't know if there's if there's a pattern of speech and presentation that diminishes the ratings and and you create resentment I mean fine you'd like to why you probably would like Jimmy Kimmel but what if had why why do you want to alienate half the public Johnny Carson
- 26:23[SPEAKER_14]: Well, then you're not, well, fine, but if you're running a, a conglomerate of TV stations, and you got somebody there that's not making you money, it's hard to sell local spots in it, and you're getting complaints, and all of this is a pain in the butt.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_14]: You're going to say, let's get rid of it.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_22]: The point I was trying to make overall is, is just right at the surface speaking, you know, A.G.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_22]: Bondi has it wrong.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_22]: She says they're going to go after A.G.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_22]: speech.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_22]: But Hay speech is protected.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_14]: All right, well, let's do that.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_14]: That's one of your terms on mine.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, listen down.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_14]: I got to run.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_14]: I got to do a commercial.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_14]: All right.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_14]: All right.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 27:02[UNKNOWN]: I got to run.
- 27:02[UNKNOWN]: Damn.
- 27:02[UNKNOWN]: I can say whatever she wants.
- 27:03[UNKNOWN]: All right.
- 27:04[UNKNOWN]: She's gorgeous.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_14]: All right.
- 27:05[UNKNOWN]: Let's do a break.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_14]: Be right back.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's all you need to know.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: This is Anthony Velasquez, Canada, for Watertown City Council, with an important message for city residents.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: Our population and tax bases in decline, residents are dealing with decreased affordability, increased crime, and budget deficits that will drastically raise your property taxes and rents.

- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: If elected, I will propose a local law to let city residents vote on a strong mayor form of government.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: This is your city and your voice matters.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_00]: I hope to earn your vote on Tuesday, November 4th.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: When you vote for Anthony Velasquez, you're choosing to bring new perspectives and new leadership in the city government.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: I will work tirelessly on your behalf and take a collaborative approach to address the many issues we face, paid for by Velasquez for Watertown City Council.

- 30:20[SPEAKER_31]: Coffland, delivering results, one mailbox at a time.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_32]: This is Chris Stigall.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_32]: join me as I wake up america and the north country mornings from six to nine right here on a.m.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_32]: twelve forty w a.m.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_14]: You're a.t.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_14]: and goodness gracious we've got millie smith on the line millie how are you can I call you're millie of course you can okay well I don't want to be disrespectful uh... you are a former first lady of water town
- 30:52[SPEAKER_14]: Now, I know we talked last time you were here about the GMC Yukon, but you went to the school board meeting the other night and the subject of Charlie Kirk's assassination came up.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, absolutely.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_06]: There was quite a few people there that made public statements regarding the assassination and the sentiment, someone texted me yesterday about a comment that a call or made.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_06]: And I didn't listen, but what I'm going to say aligns with what he thinks that's great and if not my pushback is this.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_06]: The entire premise of cumulatively of the people that were there was to condemn that this teacher's age, it wasn't a teacher, a teacher's age, which is a big difference in scope of education.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_06]: So what the people were saying is that that was not vividly translated in the letter, the press release that the Water Tonsi School District put out, compared to the letters that were put out by like cartage or Indian river.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_06]: And so people were very upset because the, what, the letter, the statement that, Well they could fire the teachers aid, can't they?
- 32:13[SPEAKER_06]: Well, they can fire whoever they want to have to be just cause, but it's a process, it doesn't happen immediately.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_14]: But the unions are, yeah, but the union already said you aren't doing anything, anybody.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, that's not really true.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think that's through and plus as I pointed out on the board meeting, there is a board policy that gives the board the jurisdiction to terminate someone who violates the social media policy.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_06]: So, they do have the jurisdiction to do that, the steps need to be followed, but
- 32:42[SPEAKER_06]: What was happening at the board meeting is that, you know, these people make, they, we had a parent who went up there and said, I don't trust any of you, meaning the board, and you're going to see an uptick in homeschooling.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_06]: And at the end of the meeting, when they all go around to talk, you know, you really have to scratch your head and say, where is this board collectively?
- 33:05[SPEAKER_06]: Because you've got a board member who took the time to write a statement that was very
- 33:11[SPEAKER_06]: You had a board member who said, I'm embarrassed to sit here and have people think that I condone this.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_06]: You had a board member who said, we could do better and has been saying for a long time, we could do better and should be doing better and we are listening to you.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_06]: You had a board member who said nothing, nothing at all in terms of the comments.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_14]: Who is that?
- 33:36[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, go back.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not allowed to say names because I'm not.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not doing that.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_14]: You're not allowed.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_06]: You got.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, whatever.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_06]: It's just not.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, was any of this covered by the media, this all these people getting up?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I didn't see the media there, but I know that the in the past, the media has said specifically Channel 7 that they do watch, you know, the meetings.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's nice.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_06]: And I do want to comment on what every board member said, then you have another board member who poses a question to the audience, so how would you like it if you were plastered all over Facebook?
- 34:14[SPEAKER_06]: Instead of just being sympathetic or empathetic towards the audience, and then you had another board member who said, oh, I see that the lines are less for open gate, that's the time I go to school, and I think our school should be cleaner.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, come on.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_06]: These people took their time to go out there and talk about how terrible it was.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_06]: We had a, we had a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a,
- 34:57[SPEAKER_06]: didn't condemn the statement, it all it said was, we don't align with that thinking.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_06]: That is not enough.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_14]: But they do align with it, don't they?
- 35:08[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not going to speak.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_06]: I hope not.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you heard the board members.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, three of them very clearly stated.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_06]: that they do not condone it but what what is done I know they the cone of silence comes over everything now if you if I say something here I'm going to get hauled into the office if it's uh... back we did they do that you know here's the problem everything in the administration that the water town city school district is done in a vacuum they don't tell the board members anything they don't tell the community any we've seen this already for the last couple of years nobody says anything nobody talks
- 35:46[SPEAKER_06]: which is another one of my statements.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_06]: You have a part of the agenda that says items for discussion.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_06]: You need to start carrying with the community what you're saying.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_06]: And okay.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_06]: The board members don't talk.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_06]: They go behind closed doors.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_06]: My God.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_14]: My God.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_14]: They just gave $3 million to a woman for something that may or may not have happened when Lyndon Johnson was president.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_06]: That settlement I will speak on behalf of the district because I was on the board when all that went down.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_06]: That case really, it's a shame that it comes out now in the light of everything that's going on.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_06]: That case has been dragged on and inherited by many administrations.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_06]: It was never settled at a court.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_06]: And finally, Kudos to this administration that they finally settled the case.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, the guy, the perpetrator, is dead.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_06]: And the two women are in their 80s.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_06]: I'm it's such an old case in Well, you know, wait a minute.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_06]: The law was on their side, so it was able to be able to be able to drag it out this long.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_06]: But it has nothing to do with anyone who's currently there.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_06]: It was just an inherited thing that finally got settled.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_14]: For three million dollars.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_06]: For three million dollars.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_14]: Plus lawyer bills are on your way.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_14]: Well, why wasn't.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_14]: But you know, people look at that and say, wait a minute.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_14]: What went on in the 1960s?
- 37:03[SPEAKER_14]: It's because they changed a law, I'm looking back at these things, I get that.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_14]: And an opportunity of his opportunistic law firms out there who are, you know, their predatory in nature, and they go after these type of cases, but... Exactly.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_06]: But, you know, I have to say that it's great that this administration finally settled this case.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_06]: This case has been going on for years and years and years and some people who don't bother to.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_14]: I forgot the, I forgot the person's name, we brought the case, who wasn't.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_06]: name I forgot.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_06]: I really don't remember, but they're old.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_06]: They're in their 80s.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_14]: Right, living in Florida as I understand it.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know where they're living, but it's finally, let's just get, it should have been done a long time ago.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_06]: It was an inherited, just it was another monkey on the administration.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_14]: But you know, in all fairness to organizations like School District's Hospital, anybody can say, or 50 years ago, something happened, and I guess, well, that's the whole thing.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_06]: you file a complaint and then you threaten a lawsuit or whatever and hope for a settlement I mean that's the game yeah yeah and you do you're right you have these attorneys you seem on TV all the time if you have this call me so this has just been dragged on and you know obviously it's going to get reported because it was finally settled but it's nothing new and there's really not a lot to say about it i'm just glad it was settled because it was just another monkey on the district back but
- 38:33[SPEAKER_06]: it raises the question how easily could that happen again i you know i guess you can ask i i mean if you're asking that question it's like or you're gonna get the food is here mm-hmm you don't know those things you know you just hope that those things don't happen and that we're kind of avoid those those problems well i would also about the stuff all the time oh yeah i mean but was it this guy
- 39:03[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I think the community as a whole, we had a really good turnout.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_06]: We had people that were there to listen and then decided to get up and talk.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_06]: And I think the sentiment was... Did the superintendent say anything?
- 39:16[SPEAKER_06]: Nothing.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_06]: Nothing.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_06]: Zero.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_14]: Well, how about the board?
- 39:21[SPEAKER_14]: Did anybody apologize for what happened?
- 39:27[SPEAKER_06]: No, I mean, I don't believe that anybody.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I think...
- 39:32[SPEAKER_06]: you know, they all made a three of them made really nice statement.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_14]: Well, I don't care about nice statements.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_14]: How about an apology?
- 39:39[SPEAKER_14]: How about not validating the fact that a woman and a two-small children will have to watch their father get blown away?
- 39:46[SPEAKER_06]: Exactly, but you know what?
- 39:48[SPEAKER_06]: That should have been when you thank you.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you for that.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_06]: That should have been output on the press release by administration.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_14]: You know, screw the press release deep.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_14]: Man up and getting front of a microphone and say something like I'm sorry.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_06]: But this we have like an absent person here.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_06]: Won't talk to the media.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_06]: Won't say anything.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_06]: Only talks at board meetings and doesn't answer any questions.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_14]: All right.
- 40:15[UNKNOWN]: Ever.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_14]: Well, you hired him.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I didn't hire him.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_06]: You better stop saying that.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_06]: I did not hire him.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_06]: I was not on the board.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_06]: I was not an advocate.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_06]: I thought.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_06]: you was not a good fit for this community, and now that I'm off the board, I still think he's not a good fit for this community, and you know, we had our president, a union president get up and say that this superintendent has done a lot of great things, and there was a checklist that he presented.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_06]: You know what?
- 40:45[SPEAKER_06]: Those things are true, and I said this, I've gone on record before.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_06]: You have done some great things, but you know, in medicine, you've heard the concept of benefits our way there is.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_06]: you heard that.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_06]: That's where we're at with him.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_14]: Well, listen, I mean, well, that's like going to medicine.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, it's like, yeah, most things that are treated probably are cured, but some aren't.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, you can't just say that that failure rate is acceptable.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, it's a very least in that situation.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_14]: assuming there is some of some amount of control.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_14]: I'm not sure there's a contrition among some of these people, but if there is, they should get up, apologize, and make it very public.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_06]: It was the administration did not apologize for anything, and it was no expression at all on public floor that this teacher's aid would be terminated.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_06]: They said they had to go to the process.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_06]: We had a board member say, well, how long is this going to take?
- 41:48[SPEAKER_06]: What's the longest in the shortest?
- 41:50[SPEAKER_06]: They said, two days to two months.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_14]: So, you know, this is, I mean, I'm not necessarily saying the person should be terminated.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, I am.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_06]: I am.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_14]: Well, you'd have to look at the pattern of activity.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_14]: I'm more concerned that people in charge of teaching children are going on Facebook and dropping F-bombs like their candy.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yep, well, you know, it's all part of the same thing.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_06]: you don't want your children being taught by these people.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_06]: Because you're not there supervising.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_06]: If they're a teacher they're going to follow the lead of the teacher, right?
- 42:25[SPEAKER_06]: So they're helping the children, how do you know what they're saying?
- 42:28[SPEAKER_06]: What if a little kid said to this teacher they all want, you know, do you hear Mr. Kirk died or what do you think that teacher
- 42:37[SPEAKER_14]: It's good.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_06]: It's unacceptable.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_06]: It's unacceptable.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I don't even know how it could be conceivable that you would want to keep.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_06]: You can't remediate someone's sentiment.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_06]: You can't remediate someone's modeling of good behavior.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_06]: They either have it or they don't.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_06]: That's not.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_06]: You can't remedy that.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_06]: And that is not a representation of the school district.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_06]: But for the administration and who's at the helm of the administration, which is super intended, tonight they make a bold blanket statement in a politicized community, and the other point I brought out, if you heard the board meeting, if they didn't even fly the flag it has staff, because it directives from the president of the United States.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_06]: Now, savings did it.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_06]: Can you all get it?
- 43:23[SPEAKER_06]: It was a directive for all public places to fly the flag it has staff.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_06]: Now, one of the board members said that the field, the one at the surface was, well, that's one.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_06]: We have many flags.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, well, I don't care.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_14]: I don't care about the flags.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, that's, that's fine.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_06]: But I do.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_06]: I do.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_06]: That's rude.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_06]: You can't say that you don't care about the flags.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_06]: How could you not care about the flag you're American?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_14]: I care about the flag, but I mean, you know, it goes up and down so much in a modern age anyway.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_14]: Listen, I got to run because I got commercials too, but it's always a pleasure to hear from you.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_14]: And keep up the fight.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_14]: All right, thank you.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_14]: All right, well, first of all, you're not going to win that battle.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_14]: It's good that she speaks out.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_14]: It's good that somebody does, but there's people saying she shouldn't be allowed to do that.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_14]: She shouldn't be allowed to do that.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_14]: And, you know, it's just the way it is.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_14]: And some schools were at half-staff.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, if you're going to put it at half-staff, it should be everywhere.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, obviously there should be a policy.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_14]: But that's neither here nor there at the moment.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I think, I think at a apology,
- 44:26[SPEAKER_14]: For the remarks made online as well as internal counseling of that person and you know put him on record or at the very least you know you straighten up or you're gone That's that's how you handle our situations
- 44:41[SPEAKER_14]: And now I know, you know, it's difficult these days because a lot of the factors can intercede, but that's what I think should have been done, but you won't see that.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_14]: You'll never see that happen.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_14]: I got to take a break, I'll be right back.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_15]: around the corner, around the continent, around the clock.

- 48:43[SPEAKER_18]: You know, I'm here.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_18]: I hear your job.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_18]: I'm getting a lot of hate for a post that I've made.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_18]: And I'm getting phone calls from people asking me to remove it.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_18]: The censorship is pretty deep, and I would just have to say that I believe.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, well, I'm not going to, I don't know what you're posting.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_14]: Send me the link and I'll look at it.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_14]: I saw something this morning, but send me the link.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_14]: I don't want to get into it here.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_14]: It's a complicated subject.
- 49:09[UNKNOWN]: All right.
- 49:10[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_14]: All righty.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_14]: Well, yeah.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, I alluded to what I said earlier for former vice president Harris has come out with a book and little drips and drabs have come out.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_14]: She says in the book that got Minnesota Governor Tim Wallace was not her first choice.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_14]: Now, would it have been Josh Shapiro, or the astronaut senator, or someone like that?
- 49:30[SPEAKER_14]: No, her first choice was then transportation secretary, Pete Buttigieg, but according to this article in a transcript from her book, 107 days, he was too big a risk for the ticket.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_14]: She said, Buddha judge would have been an ideal partner if I were a straight white man, but we're already asking a lot of America to accept a woman, a black woman, a black woman married to a Jewish man.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_14]: This is crazy.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_14]: This is what's wrong with this country.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_14]: Nobody didn't vote for her because of who she was married to, even though he did do the nanny, I guess.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_14]: And the other stuff, nobody cared about.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_14]: They just didn't like her policies.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_14]: And as far as Buddha judge, you know, now he's got a beard, it looks older, and more distinguished.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_14]: Find a few runs in 28 hunting.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_14]: I'm sure it'd be a good candidate.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_14]: Good afternoon, Ronier.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, and they have more peak rocks.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, look at everything I've got done.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_25]: like the Air Force region in this country in the British.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_25]: He got back record time and that's okay.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_25]: Dave to Highways, we've been at least seen over the last a couple of years.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, he did an amazing job, but you know, you got to stop lying and distorting the facts.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_25]: The Kimmel thing Trump said he didn't want, he was going to go in after Kimmel.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_25]: The FCC threatened.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_25]: these companies that are trying to do a merger same as the paramount thing before you know it's like griffed when you can you know get all the money you can he's griffed at three billion dollars from this country if they were if they were doing that then i don't agree with it but i'm not going to talk about the commission because we're licensed too so no i don't want to let them have to do like that i didn't even think yeah i'm not trying to get you in trouble with all but i'm just saying all these things that you know like you can't give away your rights the freedom of speech thing is important
- 51:26[SPEAKER_14]: Well, it is important, but listen, I know.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_14]: I really watch.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_14]: I know.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_14]: I got to run.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_14]: I got a call and commercials to do.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_14]: Got to run.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_14]: Good afternoon.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_14]: You're on the air.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_14]: Got to be quick.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_20]: Hey, the insanity of this old thing is thinking it's wrong for somebody to lose their job of what they said.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, people lose their job for saying things every day.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_20]: You know and you I think you kind of alluded to that when you're speaking.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_14]: Well, yeah, if I walk into the boss's office and say your mother's a horse or something like that You know You think you're not gonna get fired not that I would do that, but
- 51:58[SPEAKER_14]: You know, we're sure you're going to get fired now.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_14]: There are some people who would say that's his right to free speech and what he says off the microphone is his own business.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_14]: I don't buy that.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_14]: You got an image to conduct everywhere.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_20]: I know for a fact that that free speech costs cost things.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_20]: You know, there's not to go into what you say.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_14]: Well, I know.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_14]: I don't trust me.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_14]: I know.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_20]: They don't understand that.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_20]: They're going to have to learn that.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_20]: I just wanted to say this too.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_20]: Next time that you have Million or you call your
- 52:30[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, I'll ask her that sounds good.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_14]: All right, thanks.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_14]: Millie for mayor in 27.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_14]: Let's leave movement start right here.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, listen, we got to do a break.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_14]: We'll be right back.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_14]: Well, we'll be right back.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_14]: Oh my goodness.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_04]: at FX Perihonda.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_28]: I can't believe students are on their way to college already.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I can't believe how fast a summer flew by.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_28]: Hey Nigel, tell the truth.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_28]: Your first car back in school, it barely made into the parking lot, right?
- 52:59[SPEAKER_04]: It had character.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_04]: And a whole new floor big enough to see the road.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_28]: It's exactly why today students and parents need a Honda.

- 53:23[SPEAKER_28]: You shouldn't be worried if the car's gonna start in one day morning.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_04]: Or Thursday night, or Saturday when you're driving at home with a basket of laundry for mom.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_28]: So whether it's off the campus, back to school, or just gearing up for the next few seasons, stop at FX Cabrera High.

- 54:09[SPEAKER_35]: Do you remember when companies offered their products and services without hidden fees and surcharges?
- 54:14[SPEAKER_35]: At ENV Energy, we do.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_35]: Fuel companies began to charge those fees to offset increases in their operating expenses without looking like they increase their fuel prices.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_35]: But that just doesn't align with our local company values.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_35]: Instead, we keep our company expenses low and only charge you for the fuel you buy.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_35]: Don't pay fees, call us at ENV Energy in Watertown, where the no-feet fuel company.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_05]: He and the energy, the local Denmark.

- 55:15[SPEAKER_02]: Why are you putting it off?

- 55:18[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you don't need it.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_02]: There's lots of excuses for putting off life insurance.

- 55:50[SPEAKER_15]: Watertown.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_15]: Depend on it.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_14]: It ran out of it.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, what I said, there was a hypothetical assertion that would certainly get somebody fired.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_14]: It was not meant to be taken literally.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_14]: You know, so...
- 56:04[SPEAKER_14]: It's one of more fun things of the year where headed towards Halloween.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_14]: It's now September, but we are headed towards Halloween, and this year it's on October 31.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_14]: That's right.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_14]: And there's a lot of people are putting out a lot, a yard displays.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_14]: Not a lot of them.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_14]: There's not as much Christmas spirit as there used to be.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_14]: Not as, but I'll tell you, there's a couple of homes here in Watertown that are worth taking a peek at.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_14]: One is our good friend Kerry over on East Main Street at the corner of East Main and Hancock, I believe.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_14]: And she's got a heck of a display of creatures and monsters and everything else.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_14]: And there was a real nice one over on Academy Street where a flower oven we used to intersex.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, there's a lot of that's kind of neat too.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_14]: So Kudos to those people.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_14]: I mentioned it to John Moore this morning.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_14]: I thought it might make a good little Vosat kicker or something.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know if it will.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_14]: But yeah, it's kind of interesting.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, this isn't just putting up a few cobwebs or something.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_14]: You know, shopaholic for Halloween stuff and the bigger the better.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_14]: So it's kind of interesting and kudos to these people for taking it.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_14]: I don't think they do something at Christmas, too, but you just don't see as much or you used to see how it was just decked out to beat the band, didn't you?
