- 0:00Speaker 1: This is 710WOR, where the Mark Simone Show starts now. Hey,
- 0:08Speaker 1: it's Thursday. That's good. That's good. That's almost Friday. We're
- 0:12Speaker 1: almost there. A lot to get to today. Yankees out
- 0:15Speaker 1: of it. We'll get to Crazy Mayor Mamdani. Tried to
- 0:18Speaker 1: play both ends there and it blew up in his face.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We'll get to President Trump. More rallies. We'll get to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the Nobel Prize. We'll get to Dirty, dirty Jack Smith.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It looks like the surveillance that he did on the
- 0:34Speaker 1: Trump campaign was much more expensive, extensive than anybody knew.
- 0:39Speaker 1: We'll get to Cornell. We'll get to Krista Pike. Lots
- 0:43Speaker 1: to talk about today. So yesterday, Mayor Mamdani, it was
- 0:48Speaker 1: the third anniversary of October 7th. The horrific terrorist Holocaust
- 0:53Speaker 1: launched against Israel. that they were forced to defend themselves against. Now,
- 0:58Speaker 1: Mayor Mamdani, on that anniversary, thought he could play both sides. And,
- 1:06Speaker 1: of course, he hates Israel. He's an anti-Semite right through
- 1:10Speaker 1: and through. Hates Israel. Hates Jews. That's pretty obvious. It's
- 1:15Speaker 1: mostly the same thing. You can't want to get rid
- 1:17Speaker 1: of Israel and not say you hate Jews. They try
- 1:20Speaker 1: to separate the two things. Well, I'm not anti-Semitic. I'm anti-Semitic. Israel, well,
- 1:27Speaker 1: anytime you tell any ethnic group you can't have a homeland,
- 1:31Speaker 1: you can't have a country, you're anti-Semitic. That's anti-Semitic. So
- 1:36Speaker 1: for the anniversary of October 7th, he decided he would
- 1:41Speaker 1: attend that vigil for people that were killed on October
- 1:45Speaker 1: 7th in the massacre against Israel. But to cover himself,
- 1:50Speaker 1: he writes the dirtiest anti-Semitic, anti-Israel nonsense and posted online.
- 1:58Speaker 1: The suffering did not begin on that day. I didn't
- 2:00Speaker 1: want to read this. It goes on and on about
- 2:03Speaker 1: Israel's devastating ongoing genocide in Gaza that was going on
- 2:08Speaker 1: before October. So it just goes on and on with
- 2:10Speaker 1: this anti-Semitism. The suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb
- 2:16Speaker 1: dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals. None of this is true,
- 2:20Speaker 1: by the way. Israel has never tried to bomb an
- 2:23Speaker 1: ambulance outside of a hospital drone strikes, targeting residential buildings
- 2:28Speaker 1: or journalists. Israel never did this. It's just creepy nonsense.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Three years later, we must refuse to accept the world
- 2:35Speaker 1: in which occupation and apartheid continue. Uh, war crimes are
- 2:40Speaker 1: met with him. I'm not even gonna read the rest
- 2:42Speaker 1: of it. It's just ugly stuff. So, uh, I don't
- 2:47Speaker 1: know how to explain this guy to you. He's, uh,
- 2:50Speaker 1: he's smart, but he's not that bright. He's not super smart.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I mean, I've talked to him enough to know that he's,
- 2:55Speaker 1: he gets what you're saying, but he's, uh, he's not
- 2:58Speaker 1: super smart. He's not one of those guys that looks
- 3:00Speaker 1: at you and he could tell, he could read between
- 3:02Speaker 1: the lines. He, he can see everything you're really up to.
- 3:05Speaker 1: He's not one of those guys. So he tried to
- 3:08Speaker 1: play both sides. It backfired. The, uh, the, the Jews
- 3:13Speaker 1: that were out last night booed him like crazy for
- 3:16Speaker 1: writing this anti-Semitic nonsense, especially on the anniversary of October 7th.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And then the anti-Semites that were protesting booed him just
- 3:26Speaker 1: as much for attending the vigil. So both sides hate
- 3:30Speaker 1: him now. So I don't know what he's going to do.
- 3:32Speaker 1: He's basically as deep as his anti-Semitism is, I think
- 3:40Speaker 1: even deeper is his political ambition to succeed. So He's
- 3:44Speaker 1: tried to walk this tightrope with both sides, and he
- 3:47Speaker 1: fell off it last night and got booed by both sides.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I don't know what he's going to do now. He's
- 3:52Speaker 1: got to pick a direction. He realizes, and a lot
- 3:55Speaker 1: of people learn that, you can't play to both sides
- 3:58Speaker 1: of the aisle. It doesn't work. You end up with
- 4:02Speaker 1: nobody supporting you. So he's going to have to lean
- 4:06Speaker 1: more to one side. Now, we'll see what he decides.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But it was just ugly what he did yesterday. Ugly.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Really ugly. Now, it's interesting. They asked the two candidates
- 4:17Speaker 1: to comment on the ugly, anti-Semitic, horrible, anti-Semitic nonsense Mamdani posted.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Listen to Hochul. Try not to say anything bad about him.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I think that day.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Speaks for itself.
- 4:37Speaker 2: In the aftermath, we called for there to be a
- 4:40Speaker 2: more humanitarian response to get aid to those In Gaza.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I see this is the terrified, cowardly, cowering Kathy Hochul,
- 4:50Speaker 1: who's so afraid that she's going to lose this election,
- 4:52Speaker 1: afraid to say anything specific about Mamdani. So she dances
- 4:57Speaker 1: around it. Listen to the difference. Listen to Bruce Blakeman.
- 4:59Speaker 4: I thought his remarks were unconscionable, not becoming of the
- 5:03Speaker 4: mayor of the city of New York.
- 5:05Speaker 1: See, that's what you're supposed to say. That's what you're
- 5:08Speaker 1: supposed to say. But Hochul is in real trouble. The polls,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I know you see these public polls where she's 12
- 5:14Speaker 1: points ahead. Those are the fake public polls. The real
- 5:17Speaker 1: polls have it even right now, totally deadlocked, both within
- 5:21Speaker 1: the margin of error. That's why she went into panic
- 5:24Speaker 1: mode and launched millions and millions and millions of dollars
- 5:30Speaker 1: in attack ads on Bruce Blakeman. You know, whenever you
- 5:33Speaker 1: turn on a news program or Good Day New York
- 5:36Speaker 1: or you're watching TV, you get bumped bartered with these
- 5:39Speaker 1: attack ads against Bruce Blakeman. Well, that should make you
- 5:42Speaker 1: happy because she wouldn't be running those if she wasn't
- 5:45Speaker 1: in trouble. That's a sign of panic. Now, publicly, she'll
- 5:49Speaker 1: deny it. She'll say the polls look great.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Listen, in a purple state, you know, being ahead by
- 5:55Speaker 2: half a point or 1% is concerning. Double digits mean something.
- 6:02Speaker 1: But it's double digits in the fake polls, the college
- 6:04Speaker 1: polls where the metrics are all wrong. They don't use
- 6:08Speaker 1: likely voters. They use a very biased group. Bruce Blakeman
- 6:14Speaker 1: has seen the real polls, and they're neck and neck.
- 6:18Speaker 1: They're both within the margin of error.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Another Democrat each and every day comes up to me
- 6:22Speaker 4: and says, Bruce, I'm a lifelong Democrat. I've never voted
- 6:26Speaker 4: Republican in my life. We're voting for you this year.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, now all over the country, midterms, New York, There
- 6:35Speaker 1: is something going on that's pretty interesting. It's looking a
- 6:39Speaker 1: little better for Republicans than you would think. Even CNN's pollster,
- 6:45Speaker 1: even Harry Enten, the CNN pollster, is saying Republicans are
- 6:48Speaker 1: slowly but surely getting the advantage in all these elections
- 6:52Speaker 1: for one reason. It's pretty even, and it's going to
- 6:57Speaker 1: be an election determined by turnout. This will be what
- 7:01Speaker 1: they call a turnout election. If Democrats turn out in
- 7:04Speaker 1: great numbers, they'll win. If Republicans turn out in great numbers,
- 7:07Speaker 1: they'll win. And right now, it's looking like Republicans have
- 7:12Speaker 1: more momentum. In fact, the CNN pollster reporting that he's
- 7:16Speaker 1: looked through the metrics. The one key metric, very important,
- 7:20Speaker 1: is Republicans are winning in voter registration. There are more
- 7:26Speaker 1: Republicans showing up to register and vote than Democrats right now.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Enten said Republicans have increased their lead on Democrats in Arizona, Nevada,
- 7:37Speaker 1: North Carolina, Pennsylvania by four to eight points. Now, this
- 7:41Speaker 1: is the CNN pollster saying this. And as he says,
- 7:44Speaker 1: when you take a look at how people are registering,
- 7:47Speaker 1: this is not polling data. This is actual registering. Republicans
- 7:51Speaker 1: right now are doing considerably better than Democrats in swing states.
- 7:55Speaker 1: So this is a big deal. And even the CNN
- 8:00Speaker 1: pollster saying, Republicans right now in a better position because
- 8:06Speaker 1: of the registration. We'll talk about this later, too. Democrats
- 8:11Speaker 1: may have really misread the electorate. They've been really playing
- 8:15Speaker 1: up these ICE raids, not realizing that to most people,
- 8:19Speaker 1: they like ICE raids. They like criminals being arrested and
- 8:23Speaker 1: taken off the streets. You know, they brag about the
- 8:27Speaker 1: crime numbers going down, the numbers. crime numbers better than
- 8:30Speaker 1: ever in New York and Washington and Chicago, but nobody
- 8:34Speaker 1: points out. One of the main reasons for that is
- 8:36Speaker 1: so many criminals have been taken off the street, not
- 8:39Speaker 1: by the locals, not by the DA, not by our prosecutors,
- 8:43Speaker 1: but by ICE. Every time they come into New York
- 8:46Speaker 1: and take 4,000 or 5,000 criminals off the street, your
- 8:49Speaker 1: crime rate is going to go down. That's why you're
- 8:51Speaker 1: seeing it all over the country. They're locking up criminals everywhere.
- 8:56Speaker 1: So the... botched execution, Krista Pike. She survived it. You
- 9:04Speaker 1: might've seen this big headline. Krista Pike survives two lethal injections.
- 9:08Speaker 1: She's in the hospital. She finally wakes up. And the
- 9:11Speaker 1: headline was her amazing first words. Well, now you can't,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you got to read this story. Oh my God. What
- 9:19Speaker 1: were her first words? You look in the story. Her
- 9:23Speaker 1: first words were, where am I? Well, That would be
- 9:30Speaker 1: everybody's first words. Where am I? Hell of an ad-libber, huh?
- 9:34Speaker 1: That's what anybody would have said. That's what I assumed
- 9:36Speaker 1: the first words were. I would be shocked if those
- 9:38Speaker 1: weren't the first words. He said, where am I? Who
- 9:41Speaker 1: are you people? Now, they got to decide what to do.
- 9:46Speaker 1: They got to decide if they're going to execute her again,
- 9:49Speaker 1: which I would think they would and should. Her attorney
- 9:54Speaker 1: is fighting this. They say she's got a long road
- 9:58Speaker 1: to recovery. She's got blood. clots in her arms. She's
- 10:01Speaker 1: got pneumonia, not able to swallow. She's got all this
- 10:04Speaker 1: stuff going on. You know, believe it or not, under
- 10:06Speaker 1: the law, you can't execute somebody that's not completely coherent.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Believe it or not, they have to be in good
- 10:13Speaker 1: shape to be executed. That's the law. She's got swelling
- 10:16Speaker 1: in her hands, all sorts of stuff. Wait a minute,
- 10:18Speaker 1: where is it? Here's... I think this is her lawyer here.
- 10:21Speaker 5: She is not able to swallow yet, so she has
- 10:24Speaker 5: not eaten. She cannot move either of her arms. Both
- 10:29Speaker 5: of her arms and hands are tremendously swollen, and we
- 10:32Speaker 5: do not know what, if any, function she will regain
- 10:36Speaker 5: in her arms.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Huh.
- 10:37Speaker 3: A Monday night. It was our.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Understanding that Krista was brain dead and that life support
- 10:43Speaker 5: would be removed the next day.
- 10:45Speaker 3: But on Tuesday, to the shock of everyone.
- 10:48Speaker 5: Including me, including her team, and including the medical team,
- 10:52Speaker 5: Krista woke up and began talking.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Now, as I pointed out, 3% of the executions in
- 11:00Speaker 1: America fail. 3% of the executions, they don't kill the person.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And this has happened with hanging, with electrocution, all that
- 11:08Speaker 1: sort of stuff. Um, they got to decide what to do.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Now they say, uh, and the lawyer kept warning everybody,
- 11:14Speaker 1: you know, she's in such a weird shape. Her veins
- 11:17Speaker 1: are so screwed up. The injection won't be able to
- 11:20Speaker 1: go all the way through. So that might've been the problem.
- 11:22Speaker 1: But she's got all kinds of swelling in it.
- 11:24Speaker 3: The swelling is what I noticed.
- 11:27Speaker 5: And her hands looked like if you were to blow
- 11:31Speaker 5: up a surgical blood.
- 11:33Speaker 3: The swelling was extraordinary.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Yeah, all right. Now, of course, he wants the death
- 11:38Speaker 1: sentence dropped, commuted.
- 11:40Speaker 5: We continue to ask Governor Lee to commute Krista's death sentence.
- 11:44Speaker 5: After all we have seen and all that we still
- 11:47Speaker 5: do not know, it is unimaginable that the state would
- 11:50Speaker 5: try to execute her again.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Well, if she did something so horrible, she got the
- 11:54Speaker 1: death penalty, you got to execute her. So we'll see.
- 11:57Speaker 1: But he'll go to court. He'll delay this forever and
- 11:59Speaker 1: ever and ever and ever. Now, remember we were telling
- 12:04Speaker 1: you about this dirty, dirty Jack Smith, this really dirty cop.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Jack Smith, he became the special counsel. That's why they
- 12:12Speaker 1: got him to be the special counsel. They could have
- 12:14Speaker 1: got him 1,200 people in D.C. that would have been
- 12:17Speaker 1: perfect special counsels. They went halfway around the world. This
- 12:21Speaker 1: guy's a famous hitman, Jack Smith. He goes after Republicans.
- 12:25Speaker 1: He'll make up crap. He'll do all kinds of things.
- 12:28Speaker 1: And in this case, he made up a lot of crap.
- 12:30Speaker 1: He put together pictures of hundreds of boxes. You saw
- 12:33Speaker 1: the pictures, those boxes, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of boxes. Well,
- 12:36Speaker 1: it turned out none of them had classified documents in them.
- 12:39Speaker 1: It turned out they only found 35 classified documents in Mar-a-Lago,
- 12:44Speaker 1: which is one inch of one box. All those boxes
- 12:47Speaker 1: you saw. We're not classified documents, just normal presidential papers.
- 12:52Speaker 1: But it turns out now we're finding out more and
- 12:54Speaker 1: more that under Joe Biden and Merrick Garland and the
- 12:58Speaker 1: dirty FBI director, Christopher Wray, they turned Jack Smith loose
- 13:03Speaker 1: on the Trump campaign. They had him do unbelievable surveillance
- 13:08Speaker 1: on the Trump campaign. Now, remember, they did this in
- 13:10Speaker 1: 2015 and 16, the Obama administration. It turned out there
- 13:15Speaker 1: was massive surveillance going on in Trump Tower. The most sophisticated, bugging, eavesdropping. Well,
- 13:22Speaker 1: in this case, 2020, Biden and his evil Justice Department,
- 13:28Speaker 1: Merrick Garland, they allowed Jack Smith to do everything. And
- 13:34Speaker 1: it's all being released now. The logs that they kept
- 13:38Speaker 1: on Susie Wiles. At the time, remember, Trump's a private citizen.
- 13:42Speaker 1: She's merely his chief of staff. They got every phone call, everything.
- 13:48Speaker 1: And these were phone calls with campaign officials, campaign with
- 13:52Speaker 1: talking to attorneys, the Secret Service, detailed logs of every
- 13:58Speaker 1: phone call catalog that's all coming out. They buried these
- 14:01Speaker 1: files somewhere in the FBI. Kash Patel, current FBI director,
- 14:07Speaker 1: managed to find them. Now, this kind of lawfare is
- 14:10Speaker 1: just evil, Letitia James. Remember, they also had four criminal
- 14:14Speaker 1: cases reported. going against Donald Trump, all coordinated by the
- 14:17Speaker 1: White House. We know that Letitia James was going to
- 14:21Speaker 1: the White House for meetings on it. We know that
- 14:23Speaker 1: Fafani Willis, the guy she had running the case, went
- 14:26Speaker 1: to the White House several times for eight-hour meetings, eight-hour
- 14:30Speaker 1: meetings in the White House. We know that the case
- 14:32Speaker 1: in New York, Alvin Bragg, the Biden administration sent their
- 14:36Speaker 1: top justice official to come run the case here in
- 14:39Speaker 1: New York. So it was all being coordinated. This is
- 14:42Speaker 1: the dirtiest lawfare Now, remember when Trump got elected the
- 14:46Speaker 1: first time, he had said in the campaign a number
- 14:48Speaker 1: of times to Hillary Clinton, I'll appoint a special prosecutor.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I'll go after you. You're going to be in jail. Well,
- 14:55Speaker 1: he's not a, believe it or not, Trump is not
- 14:57Speaker 1: a ruthless guy. He gets into office and he didn't
- 15:00Speaker 1: do it. He didn't do it. Remember one time Leslie
- 15:02Speaker 1: Stahl said to him, what happened? You promised you'd go
- 15:04Speaker 1: after Hillary Clinton. And he said in the 60 Minutes interview,
- 15:08Speaker 1: they're nice people. I don't want to hurt them. That's
- 15:10Speaker 1: just the way he was. Now, a lot of people said,
- 15:13Speaker 1: you know, you should have done it. You should have
- 15:14Speaker 1: gone after him. He didn't. And he talked about it yesterday.
- 15:18Speaker 6: I could have done very bad things to Hillary Clinton.
- 15:21Speaker 6: I could have done very, very bad things to Joe Biden.
- 15:26Speaker 6: I could have done very bad things to Barack Hussein Obama.
- 15:30Speaker 6: I thought it was inappropriate to do so because you
- 15:35Speaker 6: have to treat the office of the presidency with respect.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Then I found out that they impeached me twice. And
- 15:45Speaker 6: I certainly, even to this moment, I can do whatever
- 15:49Speaker 6: I want if I want.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's not a ruthless guy. He couldn't do it.
- 15:53Speaker 1: He could have gone after Biden for that surveillance on
- 15:56Speaker 1: the 2020 campaign. He could have been doing it now,
- 16:00Speaker 1: but not going to do it. Some say he should. Hey,
- 16:05Speaker 1: the Republicans had control of Congress under Biden. Did they
- 16:08Speaker 1: impeach him every two weeks?
- 16:10Speaker 4: No.
- 16:10Speaker 1: That's But there are other people who say you can't
- 16:13Speaker 1: act like Democrats. You can't do the evil things they do.
- 16:15Speaker 1: It's just not right. We've got a lot to get to.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Jimmy Fallon will be with us a little later. A
- 16:21Speaker 1: lot to talk to him about. We'll get to the
- 16:25Speaker 1: Nobel Prize. This is the most rigged, biased awards in
- 16:28Speaker 1: the world, the Nobel. We'll get all of this coming up.
- 16:30Speaker 1: It's Mark Simone here, 9 to noon every day. Three
- 16:33Speaker 1: hours now, 9 to noon every day here on 710WOR.
