A chilling case in Snohomish County: a 27-year-old man faces murder and assault charges after a two-year-old girl died from blunt force trauma to the head — injuries that don’t match his claim she simply fell. Investigators believe he also harmed a five-year-old boy while they were alone together. The suspect was arrested Tuesday night by the Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force and is set to appear in court Wednesday.
