- 0:29Speaker 1: but the normal can you?
- 0:31Speaker 2: You are late?
- 0:32Speaker 1: I am late, but I will take full responsibility for
- 0:36Speaker 1: being late. It's my fault. Me. I own the problem.
- 0:41Speaker 1: It's me. But with me and my problems, we have
- 0:44Speaker 1: doctor Sheep drafts or I'm sorry. Drafscar is a new name. Decour.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I was on time, Yes you were, and the ewakyist
- 0:54Speaker 1: of ewoks.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Ewok Hello, key Ford community.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Glad to be It's that time again where we've got
- 1:03Speaker 1: another article because it's too much to ask Ghost Galaxy
- 1:07Speaker 1: to come out with an article in the same week
- 1:09Speaker 1: that we all talk about the Vault tour we were
- 1:11Speaker 1: just at. So now we get to talk about the
- 1:13Speaker 1: Vault Tour article.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Yay?
- 1:16Speaker 1: Is everybody ready?
- 1:18Speaker 3: All?
- 1:19Speaker 1: They got the picture of sheep smiling? They did, they did,
- 1:24Speaker 1: finally got one of sheep smiling.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I just realized they've got me with my goofball bush
- 1:31Speaker 4: light hat right on the main page.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Do they really? Oh yeah, funny because they asked me
- 1:36Speaker 1: to take mine off for my picture. But yet you're
- 1:39Speaker 1: right there in the front and center though on the
- 1:42Speaker 1: thumbnail hit the bush light at why not? But again,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I guess we can go over the full Top eight
- 1:51Speaker 1: Top eight Mam and DG Pete x ray creator draz
- 1:55Speaker 1: core all ac members, great job, everybody, way to rock
- 2:00Speaker 1: up the lock up the bottom ranks and then caps
- 2:04Speaker 1: a Captain Crispy. He's taking top four, runner up Morgan,
- 2:09Speaker 1: and winner is doctor Sheep Sheep. How does it finally
- 2:12Speaker 1: feel to have a sealed win under your belt.
- 2:16Speaker 2: All the same as any other day?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Oh boy, not what we saw.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I don't understand what I'm looking at there with this
- 2:23Speaker 4: like it almost looks like he's smiling.
- 2:25Speaker 1: He is smiling. That is a smile. He don't do
- 2:27Speaker 1: it often, but every now and again he smiles.
- 2:31Speaker 3: You should. You should see how he puts both his
- 2:34Speaker 3: trophies in each ear. Oh yeah, I don't think you
- 2:37Speaker 3: were in that's his No, No, that's our locals, that's
- 2:40Speaker 3: his new move. Ye yes, yes, that's.
- 2:42Speaker 2: My wookie ear plugs. Is when I put in both trophies.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we were saying, I don't remember what was.
- 2:48Speaker 2: What I do when I get the third trophy? Where's
- 2:50Speaker 2: that go? I could show you where it goes.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I can show you where it goes.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Well, that's thirty seconds.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounds about right. But then we move into
- 3:06Speaker 1: our con Look at that field. It's a small field again,
- 3:11Speaker 1: twenty four only in the field, but half of the
- 3:14Speaker 1: twenty four in the field were grim reminders. Yep. Literally,
- 3:18Speaker 1: it's actually literally fifty percent of the field. And then
- 3:21Speaker 1: what a third of the field is ember Skies you
- 3:24Speaker 1: ember Sky's apologists thinking it would do.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Something twenty five percent. I'm sorry, twenty five percent one,
- 3:31Speaker 4: but it is the number.
- 3:32Speaker 1: We can go too.
- 3:34Speaker 5: It's I can't read hard for what fractions are difficult?
- 3:40Speaker 5: It's not even a fraction it is it's six over
- 3:44Speaker 5: twenty four.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That is a fraction, sir.
- 3:47Speaker 3: But look your teacher, the screw guys, and it has
- 3:51Speaker 3: the percent.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Wookie, Yeah, I can't see that. It's too small. Make
- 3:54Speaker 1: your words bigger on your on your page.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Is the surprising thing that there's only two token stacks.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yes, I was actually quite surprised if there was only
- 4:02Speaker 1: two tokens decks.
- 4:04Speaker 4: It was also very limited in Rochester choosing to bring
- 4:10Speaker 4: tokens decks. Well, tokens is very hit and miss, like
- 4:14Speaker 4: it's either a monster or it's not. Because there was
- 4:18Speaker 4: two token stacks. Yeah, one was fine.
- 4:22Speaker 2: We're talking about ARCon you only bring monsters.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I mean Flaming Hobo in the top eight. Actually top
- 4:29Speaker 3: four had a top deck.
- 4:31Speaker 1: A token stack too, or no, tobin wasn't.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Mend tokens yep, So mammon, who is top eight and
- 4:44Speaker 3: Flaming Hobo they're both here under the ark On results.
- 4:46Speaker 3: And then Tobinator had actually membry Skies and then Jason
- 4:50Speaker 3: had grim Reminders. So yeah, you actually so interesting. Look
- 4:54Speaker 3: at that conversion. Actually two for two for two out
- 4:57Speaker 3: of the top eight were your token stacks.
- 5:00Speaker 1: How did ember Skies do?
- 5:05Speaker 3: Oh?
- 5:05Speaker 4: Sorry, no, you had the second runner up second, And yeah,
- 5:13Speaker 4: I'm gonna attribute a lot of that to the pilot.
- 5:16Speaker 4: You're welcome x Ray. I mean x Ray's good and
- 5:21Speaker 4: Olympia's very good. Olympia is a very good deck.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Olympia is very good. That'x ray sucks. And it turns
- 5:27Speaker 2: out that only gets it the second.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You're telling me if Olympia had a better pilot, it
- 5:32Speaker 1: would have gotten first. I ay, you said it, well,
- 5:37Speaker 1: I said it not you one call the arcons decks
- 5:40Speaker 1: thanks sheep, yep. There was a vault Master twenty four
- 5:46Speaker 1: and a vault Master twenty five. I have no idea
- 5:48Speaker 1: who was playing those.
- 5:49Speaker 2: The twenty five was Dave. He was like being with
- 5:52Speaker 2: two to one and dropped. I don't have no idea
- 5:56Speaker 2: who was on the VM twenty four back.
- 5:59Speaker 3: No, that Morgan was on the Winds of Exchange deck.
- 6:02Speaker 3: So one for one there, so again great conversion rate.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Rex is good deck too.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Toto might have been one for one if I played
- 6:11Speaker 2: one more round, but you didn't.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I didn't know you came to Dirty Alliance. Welcome to
- 6:17Speaker 1: Dirty Alliance, Dirty Geistoids, Congratulations. Top eight manon manon DG,
- 6:25Speaker 1: topinator Jace, who was Jason Morgan? Top four Ewok Junior
- 6:31Speaker 1: Flaming Hobo Runner up, x Ray and winners.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Onward would if you would like to sell a good deck.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Ray is a big sucker.
- 6:44Speaker 1: You can hit him up. He's looking yeah. Does it
- 6:47Speaker 1: make it worth more? Does it is Olympia worth more
- 6:49Speaker 1: now that it's ascended? Or is it worth less?
- 6:53Speaker 3: Ah?
- 6:55Speaker 2: I mean depends how much you want to play it
- 6:57Speaker 2: at Worlds.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I mean that's the question, right, is it worth more worthless?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Now? I mean if you don't have a deck to
- 7:06Speaker 2: play at Worlds, it's worth more fair enough few then
- 7:11Speaker 2: it's I mean it's I don't think the value actually
- 7:14Speaker 2: changes that much because there's not that many voltes to
- 7:16Speaker 2: go to.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Very interesting top ten cards? You guys ready for this?
- 7:21Speaker 3: Oh you're going ten cards? Or because I want you?
- 7:24Speaker 1: You want to go to the houses first? Houses I
- 7:26Speaker 1: never find as interesting. Houses kind of fell exactly how
- 7:30Speaker 1: I kind of thought they would.
- 7:31Speaker 3: But the one thing that I will say about the
- 7:33Speaker 3: houses is, out of the twenty four ARCon decks, seventeen
- 7:37Speaker 3: of them contain Geistoid. So think about that breakdown. Seventeen
- 7:42Speaker 3: of the twenty four that is that seems that's very
- 7:46Speaker 3: very very high. And it's saying something about geistoid. Yeah,
- 7:49Speaker 3: saying something about what's from Reminders Amber Skies, which should
- 7:53Speaker 3: have equalled Should we.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Say something about Skyborne which only had four decks in
- 7:57Speaker 1: the field.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Well that the Geistoid is seventeen out of the
- 8:02Speaker 2: twenty decks that could have it as well. Right, they
- 8:05Speaker 2: are only twenty backs that could even have Geistoid's in them,
- 8:08Speaker 2: and seventeen of them were there.
- 8:12Speaker 3: But I think it shows something about when Geistoid with
- 8:14Speaker 3: its Commons when it shows up, it's just so good
- 8:18Speaker 3: for its recursion and what it's able to bring.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Back houses broken.
- 8:22Speaker 4: The house is not broken. You just have to bring
- 8:25Speaker 4: up the rest of the houses to be par with Geistoit.
- 8:30Speaker 3: What do you guys think about because we've seen Mars
- 8:33Speaker 3: Marshnanigans that exists in Olympio has great Mars too. But
- 8:37Speaker 3: ten decks out of the twenty four, yep, kind of.
- 8:43Speaker 1: What I thought it would be.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Yeah, that doesn't surprise me.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Not surprised.
- 8:47Speaker 4: The one that surprised me was nine for and Tamed
- 8:49Speaker 4: at number three.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not as surprised that with Spooky Charge out
- 8:55Speaker 1: and about that doesn't That doesn't surprise me as much.
- 9:00Speaker 4: It's less common, Like I do like spooky Charge, but
- 9:03Speaker 4: but it's less common to see it.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I feel Charge quite a bit.
- 9:11Speaker 3: On Fathomables deck had Untamed, which had a really nice
- 9:15Speaker 3: triple haunting Witch and Spooky Charge there that that was
- 9:20Speaker 3: a nasty deck to play against.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Also, Spooky Charge doesn't purge itself.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah, five five out of the eight finalists decks had Mars.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Yes, yeap.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Again Mars Mars real good. What about the idea for shadows,
- 9:38Speaker 3: I mean if we had looked at this back in Coda.
- 9:40Speaker 1: A shadows sucks.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Oh no, we've seen it suck for a while, but
- 9:45Speaker 3: just to see that transformation from early Coda.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Logos is the other one, right, that's now at the
- 9:50Speaker 2: bottom of the list.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Four decks and well, people still scream about logos like
- 9:54Speaker 3: logos logos enables, but it is very interesting to see
- 9:58Speaker 3: logos not showing up. Well.
- 10:00Speaker 2: It's also interesting because logos six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven,
- 10:06Speaker 2: eleven of those decks could have logos in them, and
- 10:09Speaker 2: only four of eleven were logos. That that seems surprising
- 10:14Speaker 2: to me.
- 10:15Speaker 1: That does feel low. Yeah, I would say that the
- 10:19Speaker 1: one I'm more shocked at is unfathomaball. With six, they
- 10:25Speaker 1: have not been very good. They have not really been
- 10:28Speaker 1: I mean they they sucked in uh Dark Tidings d
- 10:34Speaker 1: T and then it got real good and in Wall
- 10:40Speaker 1: but like they weren't all. I mean, they were okay,
- 10:43Speaker 1: really okay. And and grim Reminders a briocalp right, brio
- 10:51Speaker 1: calp right. Well, I mean, yeah, that's kind of your
- 10:54Speaker 1: jam and grim Reminders, right, But like, I mean that
- 10:57Speaker 1: Befuddled is definitely still a monster card. It's the woe
- 11:02Speaker 1: deck right.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Which is not surprising because that's where it was strong.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Right. But ember Sky is rob and I are even
- 11:16Speaker 1: in the top five. Brick Nasty is still doing some work.
- 11:21Speaker 2: And that is the only only fish stack that made.
- 11:25Speaker 3: It to the top cut was from the Boxy yep.
- 11:31Speaker 2: So don't bring your fish sacks, and they don't. They
- 11:34Speaker 2: don't make it.
- 11:35Speaker 3: That's interesting.
- 11:36Speaker 1: On the control component and control too slow, I don't
- 11:42Speaker 1: well know too slow.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I think he walked doesn't think anything's too slow, so
- 11:47Speaker 4: nothing's too slow for you, walk.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I think it was just the third house in decks
- 11:53Speaker 2: with really good geistoid mars, and it just happened to
- 11:56Speaker 2: be your third grappy house is probably.
- 11:57Speaker 1: What it was, more unlikely because it was great and
- 12:00Speaker 1: grim reminders. I mean, it's okay, you got some decent cards,
- 12:03Speaker 1: but like they're also they're also really strange, right like
- 12:07Speaker 1: because like some cards a geystraight or if you're haunted,
- 12:10Speaker 1: if your opponent's haunted, it's really kind of all over
- 12:14Speaker 1: the place. I mean that's ar con So yeah, but
- 12:19Speaker 1: top ten cards, I don't know if any of these
- 12:22Speaker 1: surprise me. Actually only one surprises me in here. So
- 12:27Speaker 1: we'll start at ten iron x Rebel number nine, grabber
- 12:31Speaker 1: jammer number eight, six, h Zixel fricks, seven boos six,
- 12:38Speaker 1: routine job five, Haunted house hold on.
- 12:41Speaker 3: So just so you're where ten through seven all had eight,
- 12:45Speaker 3: they had eight total in the decks that we're seeing,
- 12:49Speaker 3: so those are actually ten through seven are all the same. Yeah,
- 12:56Speaker 3: I think that I think that that does matter, and
- 12:59Speaker 3: it does show the importance of that Mars set, especially
- 13:03Speaker 3: on three of those. The deck that I played head
- 13:06Speaker 3: double doctor, double rebels.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Well, the deck that I played had double doctor, double
- 13:11Speaker 1: rebel two, so no, it only does one doctor, two rebels,
- 13:16Speaker 1: that's right, Yeah, two grabber jammers. So I mean Ari
- 13:21Speaker 1: he accounts for actually almost this entire list except for
- 13:24Speaker 1: like routine job. Was I did not see any routine jobs?
- 13:28Speaker 1: Is that just in twenty four quad routine job?
- 13:33Speaker 3: Yeah, four of them came in Mammon's deck that.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Two of them came in in, so that's six.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Now thinking about it, I'm guessing it was Gorlami on
- 13:46Speaker 2: his VM twenty four. That's also a quad job stack.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Oh, there you go, quad quad and then two and
- 13:53Speaker 1: two in frauds there's your ten.
- 13:55Speaker 3: So are you saying that it has more to do
- 13:57Speaker 3: with a quad routine job being a nice set of
- 14:00Speaker 3: four cards versus VM twenty four, VM twenty five having
- 14:05Speaker 3: power interesting.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Yep, yep. Absolutely Haunted House number five with eleven, alb
- 14:12Speaker 1: Astray number twelve with and I'm Sorry, number four with twelve,
- 14:16Speaker 1: Reaver number three with fourteen, Junk Restoration number two with fourteen,
- 14:22Speaker 1: and in Here Somewhere with twenty m. There was almost
- 14:27Speaker 1: as many in here somewheres as there was decks in
- 14:30Speaker 1: the field. Yep, I am a little surprise.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Haunted house is actually that high.
- 14:37Speaker 3: So the thing about haunted house is haunted house comes
- 14:39Speaker 3: in at a comment. And so you're looking at common
- 14:41Speaker 3: for hanted house, common for in here somewhere, common for reaver,
- 14:45Speaker 3: And so I think that.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Albea a straight yeah, and alba, it's just a little surprised.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Is limited right to max two?
- 14:52Speaker 1: I believe that. I don't know, but I don't. How
- 14:56Speaker 1: do you feel about it's Haunted House A good card? Yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 1: it's fine, it's fine, right, Like it's not good, it's
- 15:03Speaker 1: it's fine.
- 15:05Speaker 2: No, it's it's pretty good. It pushes pretty hard double
- 15:08Speaker 2: double houses.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I mean it is basically a return right, it's one
- 15:12Speaker 1: number of turn no matter and let you know after
- 15:14Speaker 1: you're haunted.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so it is discarding to be able to get
- 15:18Speaker 3: there a little bit quicker. It also, I mean, if
- 15:21Speaker 3: you have issues, you have key cards and you don't
- 15:23Speaker 3: have ways to recur them, then it could be problematic.
- 15:25Speaker 3: But the short answer is most of these decks that
- 15:27Speaker 3: are top arc on we you have recursion and here
- 15:31Speaker 3: somewhere correct and so I can discard get there quicker,
- 15:35Speaker 3: and then I'm gaining off of it with the haunted.
- 15:38Speaker 3: I think it's a solid card.
- 15:41Speaker 2: All right, cons fresh power to this because everybody can
- 15:44Speaker 2: read this article.
- 15:45Speaker 1: All right.
- 15:46Speaker 4: By the way, three Shadows decks ten routine jobs. That
- 15:49Speaker 4: means every Shadows house had routine job.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Yep, yeah, yes, yes it did. Weird how that works.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I tell you they're not important and fraud made. They're fine,
- 16:02Speaker 2: but they're not important to a degree.
- 16:06Speaker 1: All right. Going through Alliance, where we have eleven in
- 16:11Speaker 1: the field. Top eight we had Scott k Captain, Crispy
- 16:17Speaker 1: fig and doctor Sheet top four, Gorolami and S. E. Steele.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Runner up was myself and Dave is the champion. Anything
- 16:28Speaker 1: this has more, weirdly enough, has more of a smattering
- 16:32Speaker 1: of what was in the field than Arkan. We have
- 16:36Speaker 1: three ember Skies, two Age of Ascensions, one Call of
- 16:39Speaker 1: the Arkans, one World's Collide, one mass Mutation, one Wins
- 16:43Speaker 1: of Exchange, one Grim Reminders, and one Tokens of Exchange.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I account for all of the Call the Arcons. Dave
- 16:52Speaker 1: accounted for all of the World's Collide. I don't know
- 16:57Speaker 1: who was playing. I don't know who was playing M
- 17:00Speaker 1: Captain Christy is playing the M M winsor Exchange was GORLAMI.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I don't know who was playing Groom Reminders. Tokens was
- 17:09Speaker 1: fig I have no idea who's playing the umber Scow.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I know Sydney has a number Sky's deck, right, yea,
- 17:20Speaker 1: the also on an Amber Sky's deck.
- 17:25Speaker 3: And I know that there can be a comments in
- 17:27Speaker 3: regards to okay, uh, Lions field is much more diverse.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I just think this is such a small pool to pull.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Yeah that it you don't have enough data to really.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Two of us are are playing Sydney cast offs.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not cast offs. We're just we're just we're
- 17:47Speaker 1: just on a mission to ascend them before she does.
- 17:51Speaker 2: She won't anymore. It's different, Yes, playing Sidney key Forge.
- 17:56Speaker 1: It's just our con for us suckers who don't want
- 17:59Speaker 1: to build things, which is me and cheap, so we
- 18:01Speaker 1: just take whatever city doesn't want and then we ascend it.
- 18:05Speaker 2: It is the intro. I guess when you look at
- 18:08Speaker 2: this interesting thing is Logos.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Is at the top of this list yep, seven of
- 18:12Speaker 1: them for.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Houses, right where it was at the bottom of the
- 18:15Speaker 2: other one shadows.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Still no good here, but logos. You have so many
- 18:21Speaker 3: more old FFG sets and Logos was just absolutely king
- 18:25Speaker 3: there for being able to provide efficiency. That doesn't surprise me.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Well, to be fair, since Gigi took over, how many
- 18:32Speaker 1: times have they done logos twice? I'm not counting?
- 18:38Speaker 3: Mmm, okay, so you're not cutting mm are you?
- 18:41Speaker 1: Because I don't think they added any new cards to logos.
- 18:43Speaker 2: And mmmh yeah, I was like one creature okay, the
- 18:48Speaker 2: new dugger are then there is one other creature? So they.
- 18:54Speaker 1: They only released Tokens of Change, which does have Logos
- 18:57Speaker 1: in it.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Yeah, And are we counting the vault mass?
- 19:00Speaker 1: So that's the thing. All new I mean, are all
- 19:05Speaker 1: just vaults. That's all reprints.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Well, that's why I'm asking if you were counting it
- 19:12Speaker 3: or not. But technically that's their ownership.
- 19:15Speaker 2: That is a thing to point out is Vault Masters
- 19:18Speaker 2: doesn't make any alliance decks yet.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Not here, No were any even attempted, not a one, No,
- 19:27Speaker 1: not even not even good, not even good enough to
- 19:29Speaker 1: alliance yet.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean there's such.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Well we'll get into that in a little bit. But yeah, supposedly.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Dustin says the king of this format.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Dustin is the king of this format. So top ten cards,
- 19:46Speaker 1: sloppy lab work, which we're all in my deck, Nature's
- 19:49Speaker 1: call Colonel slime with four in the pent seed I
- 19:54Speaker 1: had two. I have three of those. I think shark
- 19:58Speaker 1: I gore Eddie four by four which is which are
- 20:03Speaker 1: all in daged clipped wings which is a very good card,
- 20:09Speaker 1: very strong card in here somewhere, and the dust imp
- 20:12Speaker 1: is the king well dust and ban in here somewhere
- 20:15Speaker 1: and clipped wings all with seven.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Okay in clipped wings. Wasn't Pete playing his he.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Had a double clipped wings? Yeah, yeah, so he has.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Double clipped wings.
- 20:25Speaker 3: So there's four of them there, yep.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Well we'll keep letting the lines happen and anything.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Sheep and a much grumpier picture here.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm representing the different formats of KeyForge.
- 20:44Speaker 4: The usually interpreting all the different different different sides of
- 20:50Speaker 4: k I.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Actually don't know if i'd be grumpier and in an
- 20:55Speaker 2: ARCon or align these days.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Both junk sealed is still the best?
- 21:03Speaker 2: Sealed?
- 21:03Speaker 1: Is it still the best? So we move onward and
- 21:06Speaker 1: upward to Portland? Is next? I believe this upcoming?
- 21:10Speaker 4: Well?
- 21:10Speaker 1: Yeah, this month, well next month technically, so twenty ninth.
- 21:16Speaker 1: We're almost in the June.
- 21:17Speaker 3: So we're not there yet, baby, close enough.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I know you're counting down the days because you only
- 21:23Speaker 1: have like eight and a half more days of school
- 21:25Speaker 1: till you get to do whatever it is. He walks,
- 21:29Speaker 1: do No, I got this wrong.
- 21:32Speaker 2: So in the key Forge Vault Masters special event, it
- 21:36Speaker 2: says the undefeated players were myself and DRASCR. I was
- 21:41Speaker 2: definitely not undefeated there. That's Mamon DG.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yeah, because I.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Got greedy with an Ig and then he br geisted
- 21:54Speaker 2: my oda whac and I just I just made a
- 21:57Speaker 2: sad face, sad face, sad face because I could no
- 22:02Speaker 2: longer steal his hamber.
- 22:04Speaker 4: You know what, they have CSV files now for full
- 22:09Speaker 4: tournament results.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I just realize I have that. Oh, those really go
- 22:13Speaker 1: to the Oh yeah, you can download? Yeah?
- 22:19Speaker 4: Is that for?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Is that for uh key Chanden's.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Yeah, they had announced for keychain that they were pushing
- 22:28Speaker 3: that in So yes, I don't. I don't have confirmation,
- 22:32Speaker 3: but that is my guess as.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Too, because that's how keychains likes I believe likes their
- 22:36Speaker 1: data entered, if I'm not mistaken, they like it in
- 22:40Speaker 1: CSV format.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why they said it's now going to be
- 22:43Speaker 2: in key chains.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Mmm, so wait for that check in the mail Keychains guys.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Something tells me you'll be waiting as long as we
- 22:51Speaker 1: have been waiting. Yeah, we're still waiting.
- 22:58Speaker 2: What that was at the questioner unfathomable? That was the
- 23:03Speaker 2: only the only AC member to uh not make a
- 23:06Speaker 2: top guy. Yeah, wow, jaws get the person with the
- 23:10Speaker 2: most wins across all offered time slots played a lot
- 23:13Speaker 2: of key Forge what a lot of games, just not
- 23:17Speaker 2: in the main events.
- 23:19Speaker 1: What about the efford Fish?
- 23:21Speaker 3: Over thirty percent of eliminated players joined Second Amber over
- 23:26Speaker 3: thirty percent. That's what it says.
- 23:30Speaker 4: That thought so great? Well it wasn't over though, I bet.
- 23:38Speaker 2: But it says seventeen players uh in thirteen seventeen. Oh
- 23:44Speaker 2: that's not seventeen unique players, because if seventeen players, that's
- 23:48Speaker 2: like most of the field. Yeah, that's the I mean,
- 23:52Speaker 2: Iwaka and I even played a second Amber game.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I played a second Umber game too.
- 23:57Speaker 4: I did not.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I played against fig he whipped my ass.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I don't remember what we're doing or why we played it,
- 24:05Speaker 2: but we did.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't, I don't remember. I mean, it was
- 24:07Speaker 4: just like streaming. Oh yeah, I enjoyed that nice.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I got nacked.
- 24:12Speaker 3: I got knocked out of Sealed Sheep, and you I think,
- 24:16Speaker 3: oh yeah, I three out it. So so I was like,
- 24:20Speaker 3: I am playing, and then all of a sudden, I
- 24:22Speaker 3: was playing you.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Trying to get those TV tickets that we didn't do
- 24:25Speaker 2: any Yeah again, in a field of twenty four, I
- 24:28Speaker 2: feel like you could have gone in the back room
- 24:30Speaker 2: and just gotten another box and we two weeks, in,
- 24:35Speaker 2: two weeks, three weeks, whatever the next event goes right Partland, yep,
- 24:41Speaker 2: TV will be in basically everybody's hands, YEP. So the
- 24:46Speaker 2: excitement of a PV tour seems we're real low. Like
- 24:52Speaker 2: the like, the whole TV tournament thing was pretty cool
- 24:55Speaker 2: when it was pre released, but now it's just gonna be.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Like, yeah, I already have this.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, what are they gonna do?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Like Draconian Sky is it's ready to go? Right, So
- 25:07Speaker 1: it's for it's four maybe it's four weeks.
- 25:10Speaker 3: It's four weeks to Portland, and that would be my
- 25:13Speaker 3: suggestion is that you're then another two months out to
- 25:18Speaker 3: Crucible class. So yes, why not put it in?
- 25:22Speaker 2: But people are getting Crucible class decks already, not in your.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Game phone but limited. No, no, it's it's a limiteding
- 25:29Speaker 3: game phone.
- 25:29Speaker 1: You got it limit. I thought it wasn't in game phone, right.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I guess that's what they can do. They could run
- 25:35Speaker 2: a crucible clash. That's fine. What are you is exciting?
- 25:39Speaker 2: Now we're not here to talk about that today.
- 25:42Speaker 1: We're not here to talk about what.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Crucible class.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, I was gonna ask what if
- 25:49Speaker 3: they offered that they had a box of Draconian that
- 25:54Speaker 3: you could try out? Would that be enticing?
- 25:58Speaker 1: They will know well that that's not the question. The
- 26:02Speaker 1: question is whether it's enticing or not.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Yes, get you out of your car, get you off
- 26:09Speaker 4: your ass to go play more quy fork.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Yes. I don't think that they will have it either.
- 26:14Speaker 2: But even if they don't, I don't think they started
- 26:21Speaker 2: designing it.
- 26:22Speaker 3: You know, they're like dragons our preview cards.
- 26:27Speaker 4: So the preview cards guys, yeah.
- 26:31Speaker 2: You know every preview card has pretty much always changed.
- 26:34Speaker 2: But no, even if they said, hey, you can go
- 26:36Speaker 2: here and there's this thin chance that you get a
- 26:39Speaker 2: pre release of the next set that you can't do
- 26:42Speaker 2: anything with, I wouldn't really care.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Really.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I mean, like if I was there and I got
- 26:50Speaker 2: to play it, I'd be like, cool, what.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Gives doctor Sheep up in the morning? Like what gives
- 26:55Speaker 1: you Rile? Do you like fu glan do this? Like
- 26:58Speaker 1: you flip it?
- 26:58Speaker 5: What?
- 26:58Speaker 3: What? What is?
- 26:59Speaker 1: I don't even know what that is.
- 27:00Speaker 3: For you, little Sheep.
- 27:04Speaker 4: It's like nothing. It's the thought of like he saw
- 27:07Speaker 4: places you're not supposed to think that.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 4: I mean that's the only other time I've seen Sheep
- 27:14Speaker 4: with that smile that he has right there as a sealed.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Champion, right a place he wasn't supposed to be peeing.
- 27:21Speaker 1: That's all right. I mean I don't know, I like you,
- 27:25Speaker 1: I don't know what excites Sheep anymore, Like I would
- 27:27Speaker 1: be like, oh, yeah, that's cool.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I guess it comes back around to the things you've
- 27:31Speaker 2: said about this game, though, is like who cares if
- 27:34Speaker 2: you have a pre release for a set in this game,
- 27:38Speaker 2: because it's not like they they're not gonna make a
- 27:42Speaker 2: treatment on it. That makes I mean like maybe they
- 27:46Speaker 2: did some fancy treatment where only twenty pre release or
- 27:49Speaker 2: you know, like the one box per set came out,
- 27:52Speaker 2: so they're super rare and kind of neat.
- 27:54Speaker 1: What if they were foil?
- 27:57Speaker 2: Okay, I mean like that helps, but that's still isn't
- 28:00Speaker 2: probably enough to drive you to make a random chance
- 28:03Speaker 2: at an event?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Well no, no, you would have to communicate this well
- 28:11Speaker 1: well in advance, like we will be doing this at
- 28:15Speaker 1: this event, right, Like, yeah, we've all well no, not
- 28:18Speaker 1: all of us have been joying TV because I didn't.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I still haven't played PV.
- 28:23Speaker 4: I haven't.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I didn't get it. Good good for you, d but it.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Has brought us TV multiple times to play with.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and all you jump and jump in front and
- 28:34Speaker 1: I'm just like, yeah, whatever, that's fine. But either way,
- 28:38Speaker 1: like I I didn't get a chance to play PV
- 28:42Speaker 1: at the Vault Tour. You want to know why, because
- 28:45Speaker 1: I didn't play enough second Ember games Because you know,
- 28:49Speaker 1: I've spent all day grinding in all these damn events. Yeah,
- 28:54Speaker 1: so I didn't get I got my one ticket that
- 28:56Speaker 1: I got in the beginning of the day. Because it's
- 28:58Speaker 1: again the way the two l os some works is
- 29:01Speaker 1: if you're just good enough, you can do nothing but
- 29:05Speaker 1: grind in the main event and not give shit for it.
- 29:08Speaker 2: You got two choices here, Lucky, you can either suck
- 29:11Speaker 2: more or suck less. This right, Your current level of
- 29:15Speaker 2: suck is the.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Wrong, but my current level of suck is right in
- 29:18Speaker 1: the middle. Right, So it's like you're just good enough
- 29:21Speaker 1: to You're just good enough to almost be there, but
- 29:25Speaker 1: not quite sucky enough to do all the fun shit.
- 29:28Speaker 4: You've got a word about it.
- 29:31Speaker 3: This is yes, Okay. So here was where I was thinking.
- 29:35Speaker 3: I think that Jacony measures is too early, Like I
- 29:38Speaker 3: actually do want to digest prosthetic visions because it at
- 29:42Speaker 3: this point, by Portland a month out, hopefully we will
- 29:46Speaker 3: have ours. I think that the announcement from Game found Today,
- 29:49Speaker 3: which came out literally today Thursday the twenty ninth, that
- 29:55Speaker 3: basically they were hoping to get us shipments going by
- 29:58Speaker 3: the end of this week. They've essentially gone from around
- 30:01Speaker 3: the world and they kind of stated where they had already.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Shipped out, which means mid next week.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Honestly mid next but mid next week. Even there, you
- 30:11Speaker 3: would have still another three weeks for it to be
- 30:14Speaker 3: able to get to. So most people will have prophetic
- 30:16Speaker 3: visions at that point. I think the excitement of a
- 30:19Speaker 3: new set, we want to.
- 30:21Speaker 4: Actually you sure, what when is Portland next?
- 30:27Speaker 2: Three weeks?
- 30:28Speaker 3: No, it's four weeks. It's my daughter's birthday. So this weekend,
- 30:31Speaker 3: this weekend is the thirty first and first, then you
- 30:34Speaker 3: have the seventh and eighth, fourteenth and fifteenth, and then
- 30:37Speaker 3: you have the twenty first, twenty second, which should be
- 30:40Speaker 3: Portland unless I'm off on Portland, but that there.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Is the twentieth, Yeah, Portland is June twentieth, and the
- 30:51Speaker 1: twenty second.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Yes, which is why it's the weekend right before my
- 30:55Speaker 3: daughter's birthday on that Monday. So that's why I was like, eh,
- 30:58Speaker 3: But if you're looking at four weeks, I think that
- 31:02Speaker 3: that prophetic visions will be in most households for those
- 31:05Speaker 3: people who have gone ahead. In fact, I think there's
- 31:07Speaker 3: excitement when a new set comes out, and you don't
- 31:09Speaker 3: actually want to lose that by bringing out something you
- 31:13Speaker 3: don't want to bring out the next set when you're
- 31:15Speaker 3: just trying to.
- 31:15Speaker 1: You're not bringing it out. You're literally just doing it
- 31:18Speaker 1: for like fun, you're trying to draw people in for
- 31:22Speaker 1: to come to your events.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Yes, but I'm going to tell you right now, if
- 31:27Speaker 3: this was me instead, I would lean into the prophetic
- 31:31Speaker 3: visions being here. And you're like, well, I already have
- 31:32Speaker 3: prophetic visions. I've bought this from gain found that I
- 31:36Speaker 3: think that what was said a little bit ago is
- 31:38Speaker 3: the way I would do it. I would foil them.
- 31:39Speaker 3: I put the special treatment on just that individual box.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Now you have a limited scarcity. Oh, people are gonna
- 31:45Speaker 3: go ahead and freak out. But again, if you communicate
- 31:47Speaker 3: that ahead of time that this is going to be
- 31:49Speaker 3: here and you have a chance to play in it.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Because I didn't say anything about but again, if it
- 31:56Speaker 3: was me, even with a month, maybe it entices. If
- 31:59Speaker 3: it enticed, is another what one?
- 32:02Speaker 1: Two?
- 32:02Speaker 3: Three people? Three people? Frankly, you're gonna be pushing correct,
- 32:09Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying, Like God, but we know, we
- 32:13Speaker 3: know that they have the ability to foil. Their foiling
- 32:17Speaker 3: actually is really really good because they released it at
- 32:20Speaker 3: sen and so we saw that it is spot treatment
- 32:23Speaker 3: in specific areas as targeted. It looks really really good.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure we weren't supposed to know about that.
- 32:29Speaker 1: I don't know how they thought they were going to
- 32:30Speaker 1: hide that, but I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to
- 32:32Speaker 1: know about that. It was given I'm going to randomly
- 32:35Speaker 1: open a foil deck, like, okay, so it was released.
- 32:41Speaker 2: At I'll start looking for the decks that are curving
- 32:44Speaker 2: a little more.
- 32:45Speaker 3: It was No, it was released at Essen, so you
- 32:49Speaker 3: you know that that was there. It was seen as
- 32:51Speaker 3: something that was given to others who are at Essen
- 32:54Speaker 3: to walk away with, to be able to entice other
- 32:56Speaker 3: companies to be able to buy and to get foil items.
- 32:59Speaker 3: So we know we know that exists.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but again, I don't I don't think the Americans, right,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I don't think us as Americans were really supposed to
- 33:08Speaker 1: know about it.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Now, they weren't typical don't say nothing.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Right, I'd not say they're hiding it. What I am
- 33:16Speaker 1: saying is they're kind of like, hey, don't talk about it,
- 33:20Speaker 1: and it won't.
- 33:20Speaker 3: You mean, Essen the largest game festival in the whole
- 33:25Speaker 3: entire world.
- 33:25Speaker 1: But we're Americans we're dumb. We don't pay attention to
- 33:27Speaker 1: what's going on overseas.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Again, you you, you, and and and. The thing that
- 33:34Speaker 3: we have to realize is that we have many individuals
- 33:35Speaker 3: who are coming into this game who have a board
- 33:37Speaker 3: game background, with sen being these spots to go to
- 33:40Speaker 3: for board games and board game releases. I would argue
- 33:43Speaker 3: that that information I would expect to be able to
- 33:46Speaker 3: get out. But regardless we're here, we know that they
- 33:48Speaker 3: can foil. Well, if if I told you, if I'm
- 33:51Speaker 3: gig and I told you today a month before, we're
- 33:56Speaker 3: going to go ahead and have one box of foiled
- 33:59Speaker 3: propthetic vision, and you will be again the ticket system
- 34:02Speaker 3: that they've been using, that's how you're gonna get entry.
- 34:05Speaker 3: You'll get one ticket and then for second amber you
- 34:08Speaker 3: get access points for more tickets. Would that entice anyone here?
- 34:13Speaker 3: So we can see, that's the question. Would that entice?
- 34:15Speaker 3: Would it entice you just spend a lot of money.
- 34:17Speaker 3: I don't know if that enticees anybody to spend that
- 34:19Speaker 3: amount of money because there's literally no way to recoup it.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I think that's the thing. That's what I'm saying. Even
- 34:25Speaker 2: if they foiled it and made it fancy. We know
- 34:27Speaker 2: the secondary market for this game is sucks depressing, So like,
- 34:32Speaker 2: unless you want it for yourself, there's not a lot
- 34:39Speaker 2: of push because even even with winning this VM twenty
- 34:43Speaker 2: five stuff and it's supposedly being the best at ever,
- 34:47Speaker 2: not a single person it's picking me asking if I'm
- 34:49Speaker 2: gonna sell it, even though everybody knows that sold the
- 34:51Speaker 2: last stuff I had, Like, it's just not that hot.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I mean, I have thirteen that's I've opened too. They
- 35:01Speaker 1: both were the identical. I think they are both seventy two's.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Well, well we'll get there because that's actually I mean.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Where we're working on it.
- 35:15Speaker 2: What give you decided we had to go through the
- 35:16Speaker 2: article you guys did last week.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Yeah, regardless, if we're looking, that does not entice you,
- 35:23Speaker 3: wookie sheep, It does not entice you. Drscore.
- 35:28Speaker 4: So I mean so my immediate response around they shouldn't
- 35:33Speaker 4: do dra Iconic Visions really had nothing to do with
- 35:37Speaker 4: Am I enticed by there being a new set at
- 35:40Speaker 4: a Vault? I do think that's cool. I would be
- 35:45Speaker 4: excited about it. I was excited about it in Rochester
- 35:50Speaker 4: when I you know, did the pod got to play
- 35:53Speaker 4: it and got the ticket, got to play it whatever,
- 35:56Speaker 4: Like that was really cool. So yes, the the reason
- 36:01Speaker 4: I initially answered negatively is because I like that would
- 36:07Speaker 4: mean they're like who cares like even more so they'd
- 36:09Speaker 4: be like who cares about playtesting? Because I think that
- 36:12Speaker 4: is the biggest tallems I have right now is just like, like,
- 36:16Speaker 4: there's lots of cool ideas, right they got there's lots
- 36:19Speaker 4: of cards, lots of new cards out there, lots of
- 36:21Speaker 4: fun stuff, But how do you just tune it a
- 36:24Speaker 4: little more? I think is the thing that that they
- 36:27Speaker 4: need to spend more time on. And if they're printing
- 36:29Speaker 4: these things, that means they're they're not.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I guess I'm working more under FFG,
- 36:36Speaker 3: where they had a multiple year advance where they were
- 36:39Speaker 3: actually play testing and pushing No, I can't go through
- 36:43Speaker 3: here and we're not going to talk about playtesting kind
- 36:45Speaker 3: of what that bomb? The short answer is, if we're
- 36:51Speaker 3: talking about this, I think that if you just release
- 36:54Speaker 3: a set or it's just coming into people's hands, I
- 36:58Speaker 3: think that actually having the next set, which should be
- 37:01Speaker 3: about six months away, it's roughly the six month cycle,
- 37:05Speaker 3: it is a little bit less exciting, But I really
- 37:08Speaker 3: enjoyed what they had offered. I would like to have
- 37:10Speaker 3: something and so I don't know. I just I like
- 37:14Speaker 3: the idea of foiling it. I think that, yes, the
- 37:16Speaker 3: secondary market is not there, but it would be a
- 37:19Speaker 3: really cool momento sheep. I'm thinking about your deck collection
- 37:22Speaker 3: that you had brought to KFC, of all the unique decks,
- 37:25Speaker 3: and there's some pretty crazy keyboarge players out there who
- 37:27Speaker 3: would want to have the one off, the something that's
- 37:31Speaker 3: very unique or very special and when it's scarce. I
- 37:35Speaker 3: think that's something that GG could offer that would potentially entice.
- 37:38Speaker 3: And maybe it only brings out here's one or two
- 37:41Speaker 3: or three extra people, but if it brings out one
- 37:44Speaker 3: or two or three extra people versus us having our
- 37:48Speaker 3: same numbers, I think that's a big win. Right now,
- 37:51Speaker 3: I do think that we have to communicate it, but
- 37:53Speaker 3: I think that would be a win and it's something
- 37:54Speaker 3: they could do.
- 37:56Speaker 2: I actually think the amount of effort for that increase
- 38:01Speaker 2: is a payout.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Nope, it's not.
- 38:07Speaker 2: I mean it is an increase, but I don't.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it was an interesting thought process for what was there.
- 38:16Speaker 3: I like the idea. We'll have to see.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I agree they more interesting things at the vaults that
- 38:22Speaker 2: are consistent and people know about.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Sounds good to me, Kirkman. I mean you mean a
- 38:31Speaker 1: card that you can slide into your deck that's a
- 38:34Speaker 1: replacement for a card that's in there, that's foil, that
- 38:36Speaker 1: maybe has something cool on it that says I went
- 38:39Speaker 1: to this vault tour. Is something that would drive you
- 38:42Speaker 1: to go to vault to ours. I did not say that,
- 38:45Speaker 1: I said, did I say you? I said, Kirkman, Okay.
- 38:49Speaker 3: He's in our discord following along, and yes, Wookie, you're
- 38:53Speaker 3: you had tried to do this, even for Roseville, and.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Well that guy that was a whole hullaballoon. Now I'm
- 38:59Speaker 1: trying to get it sent back from Minnesota where it's
- 39:02Speaker 1: I don't know if it's I'm guessing it gets shipped out,
- 39:05Speaker 1: and I'm waiting for it to come back from Minnesota
- 39:08Speaker 1: to hear because I had them overnighted and then they
- 39:10Speaker 1: didn't show up to the twenty first, So they were
- 39:13Speaker 1: supposed to be there on the seventeenth, and they showed
- 39:15Speaker 1: up on the twenty first, thanks United States Postal Service.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Overnight.
- 39:21Speaker 1: That's not overnight, No, it is not overnight overnight. Yes,
- 39:28Speaker 1: overnight adjacent well, I gotta get my money back from them,
- 39:31Speaker 1: because yeah, it was guaranteed overnight or your money back,
- 39:35Speaker 1: So I guess I'm getting my money back. And then
- 39:38Speaker 1: I had to call the hotel and we had to
- 39:40Speaker 1: find the package, and now they're sending it back to me.
- 39:42Speaker 1: So hopefully I get them shortly. I should not have
- 39:49Speaker 1: put Roseville vault to or twenty twenty five on the bottom.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I'll say I can give them out of Baltimore.
- 39:55Speaker 3: It'll be awkward, but hey, if you did not see
- 39:59Speaker 3: the Roseville pins, some people ended up with pins from
- 40:02Speaker 3: different locations Las Vegas.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Yeah, that was hilarious. I did check mine. I got
- 40:08Speaker 4: the roads.
- 40:08Speaker 3: I just got Roseville too. But you know, those are
- 40:10Speaker 3: little easter eggs, so you can have your in here
- 40:13Speaker 3: somewheres that because it was in here.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Somewhere, right, it wasn't here somewhere. Yeah. Yeah, So it
- 40:18Speaker 1: falls as I get them back up because I mean,
- 40:22Speaker 1: they weren't number one, they weren't cheap, and number two
- 40:25Speaker 1: hopefully you know, it was an extra forty bucks to
- 40:27Speaker 1: get them shipped overnight. That didn't happen, so hopefully I
- 40:30Speaker 1: get them back.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that the idea is still very, very viable.
- 40:37Speaker 3: I know that people are worried with an arc on deck,
- 40:39Speaker 3: but the short answer is we are deck checked all
- 40:41Speaker 3: the time. If you're subbing one card out for another,
- 40:43Speaker 3: they are sleeved, so we should not be able to
- 40:45Speaker 3: tell a difference. It is really not something to worry
- 40:47Speaker 3: about in a competitive scene, but it would make the
- 40:50Speaker 3: decks unique. It would show as a momento, and frankly,
- 40:53Speaker 3: you can print off quite a few more of them,
- 40:55Speaker 3: meaning that it would actually be something that's viable that
- 40:58Speaker 3: they could do anyway.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Weird, what are you now?
- 41:03Speaker 3: Good, wikie? We've covered this, Yeah, we're we've covered it all.
- 41:06Speaker 1: We can move on to Vault Master twenty twenty five,
- 41:11Speaker 1: aka the set that will kill Key Forage.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Or jml's favorite.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Oh set, Yeah no, we got that too. I mean,
- 41:20Speaker 1: Magic's been dying for thirty years, but Vault Master twenty
- 41:24Speaker 1: twenty five?
- 41:24Speaker 2: Is it?
- 41:25Speaker 3: All right? So how many of you have played vault
- 41:30Speaker 3: Master twenty five?
- 41:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 41:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeap me no, no, all right, we got some
- 41:36Speaker 3: information and sheep do we dras court? You've done some work,
- 41:41Speaker 3: all right? Where do you guys want to start? Don't
- 41:46Speaker 3: all jump at it? And not so good okay, oh, come, okay,
- 41:51Speaker 3: we're not just going with big shots. Let's actually talk.
- 41:55Speaker 4: So here we go. So so I was taking a
- 41:57Speaker 4: look because I was I was looking at the set,
- 42:00Speaker 4: I was looking at the cards by house and starting
- 42:04Speaker 4: to think about, you know, okay, because because you know,
- 42:08Speaker 4: we saw we took a screenshot. However, many years ago
- 42:12Speaker 4: in the forum of what JML was posting around SaaS scores,
- 42:18Speaker 4: and he was highlighting in red for the evilness of
- 42:21Speaker 4: VM twenty five, showing that the the you know, the
- 42:26Speaker 4: high score situation is just so much worse. So the
- 42:29Speaker 4: percent of eighty plus when he first did this was
- 42:32Speaker 4: thirty nine point four percent versus thirty percent in GR,
- 42:37Speaker 4: So he's saying, hey, it's way way higher. Percent of
- 42:41Speaker 4: eighty five percent was twenty two point five versus fourteen
- 42:44Speaker 4: point nine and gr the percent of ninety plus was
- 42:46Speaker 4: twelve point nine percent versus four point four percent. So
- 42:49Speaker 4: he's like, it's bonkers, it's crazy.
- 42:52Speaker 3: This is the worst.
- 42:53Speaker 2: I did rerun these numbers a little bit, yes, now,
- 42:57Speaker 2: five hundred and fifty VM twenty five decks.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Yeah, and this was done with two hundred and forty
- 43:02Speaker 3: nine decks. So again, but I.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Don't know my I just used the thousand most recent
- 43:07Speaker 2: GR decks for my other numbers. Just just see. But
- 43:13Speaker 2: VM twenty five is down to nine point like eight
- 43:15Speaker 2: percent to get a ninety plus and when GR is
- 43:20Speaker 2: still right around that four and a half to five
- 43:22Speaker 2: percent mark. Okay, yep, so it is it is significantly higher. Yes,
- 43:30Speaker 2: it is significantly higher chance to get a ninety. But
- 43:35Speaker 2: those of us who actually play competitive key forge, no,
- 43:38Speaker 2: getting a ninety doesn't equal winning games.
- 43:43Speaker 4: Yes, right on with quad binate rupture. That's not looking
- 43:50Speaker 4: so good right now?
- 43:51Speaker 2: How many I mean, how many ninety sas decks do
- 43:54Speaker 2: you guys own recently.
- 43:58Speaker 1: That are good.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Versus don't really matter? Like I know, all my high
- 44:08Speaker 2: SAT stuff has come from newer sets.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Yeah, or they're the ones.
- 44:12Speaker 2: I've stolen from lookie yep, because he opens better than me.
- 44:15Speaker 1: But they are still only one of them has can
- 44:19Speaker 1: do anything.
- 44:20Speaker 2: They're all competitively meaningless.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Yep, right, it's just.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Ninety plus does not that the relationship is not as
- 44:32Speaker 2: strong as I think jam like claim it is, or
- 44:35Speaker 2: as people think it is. But on the other hand,
- 44:38Speaker 2: I also do believe it's true that like most of
- 44:40Speaker 2: the decks at top end are over ninety. So until
- 44:43Speaker 2: you get over ninety, yes, it kind of doesn't matter anyways,
- 44:48Speaker 2: Like there are decks, there's a few eighties every once
- 44:50Speaker 2: in a while that that shine. But yes, you basically
- 44:52Speaker 2: do have to get over ninety before you're really starting
- 44:55Speaker 2: to think competitive. And then the fact is is that
- 44:59Speaker 2: it's one out of every ten of them are probably
- 45:02Speaker 2: actually good enough to do something with. Still puts VM,
- 45:06Speaker 2: you know, twice as likely that you're going to potentially
- 45:09Speaker 2: pull on. Not that we've seen a top VM twenty
- 45:12Speaker 2: five deck.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I have an open all of mine.
- 45:16Speaker 4: I definitely know there's a monster hidden in one of
- 45:18Speaker 4: those boxes.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Looking at the top for Roseville with ARCon. Yeah, the
- 45:26Speaker 3: SaaS continues to climb. I know that we had two
- 45:29Speaker 3: mainyars one deck that came in eighty seven. But again,
- 45:33Speaker 3: these SaaS as a whole has shifted to who's making it.
- 45:40Speaker 3: But yes, if we look at the cards, there has
- 45:41Speaker 3: been a power creep that is an increase. But yes,
- 45:45Speaker 3: the idea of what you were saying cheap is that
- 45:48Speaker 3: the amounts of nineties that we still have just by
- 45:52Speaker 3: having that score does not mean that it is playable
- 45:54Speaker 3: it's going to make a top eight. There's a lot
- 45:56Speaker 3: that are sitting but are frankly really bad.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Yeah, there is stuff in this though.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so you want to talk about some of your
- 46:04Speaker 2: favorite stuff you're seeing then dress sure.
- 46:08Speaker 1: So uh.
- 46:10Speaker 4: So I was just sort of clicking through the houses.
- 46:12Speaker 4: One of them that jumped out at me was logos. So,
- 46:18Speaker 4: as we were saying before, right, we haven't seen logos
- 46:22Speaker 4: in quite a while. If you look at the Roseville results,
- 46:25Speaker 4: there's been there wasn't a lot of logos coming through.
- 46:29Speaker 4: But when you look at at this set, let me
- 46:33Speaker 4: just read a few of the commons that are are
- 46:37Speaker 4: in logos and just think about all these getting together. Right,
- 46:40Speaker 4: You got ed I, you got left logica, igor, phase shift, Archimedes,
- 46:48Speaker 4: got articulator, wren, you got the arm folder Sliderkin's decent
- 46:55Speaker 4: you you have the eph to to give you some
- 46:59Speaker 4: nice control. Like that's a pretty solid common set of cards. Yes,
- 47:07Speaker 4: and then and if you keep going, you just say, okay,
- 47:09Speaker 4: well what do we got? What do we got in
- 47:11Speaker 4: uh in uncommon? What do we got in in rare?
- 47:16Speaker 4: There's some great things to back it up. Right, So
- 47:17Speaker 4: you do have the brig although it is a little
- 47:19Speaker 4: bit of a problem to have the binate rupture. That's annoying, right.
- 47:22Speaker 3: Well, coming in at common, we're seeing so many multiples.
- 47:27Speaker 2: When there are only eight commons in the set. Yeah, yeah,
- 47:31Speaker 2: way too many binates.
- 47:34Speaker 3: It should it should have been it should have been
- 47:36Speaker 3: limited to at max two one one. I mean, I'm
- 47:41Speaker 3: really at one too, but it should have had a
- 47:44Speaker 3: limiting factor. Seeing this at this one on one SaaS
- 47:47Speaker 3: deck and t Okay, it's pretty funny from Kirkman with
- 47:50Speaker 3: four binate ruptures.
- 47:51Speaker 4: Like you also have Eureka awesome card. Uh. Now you
- 47:59Speaker 4: have Chronos but I don't. There's not a lot of
- 48:01Speaker 4: pips in this set, so maybe Colonels isn't as exciting
- 48:03Speaker 4: as it used to be. But you do have the
- 48:06Speaker 4: Quantum Compass that's awesome. You have the BDq really nice.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Uh.
- 48:13Speaker 4: The honor list, the the the rare list is really good. Uh,
- 48:18Speaker 4: de Sonia Time Traveler Honors, pises zenzis Enziic. You've got
- 48:23Speaker 4: the Nautilus Knowledge is Power. That's a pretty strong lineup, right.
- 48:28Speaker 2: That's Stills upgrades though, yes.
- 48:32Speaker 4: Those pretty decent upgrades. I still but maybe maybe I should.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Say that, But.
- 48:42Speaker 2: I mean I gos, I gors, I gs Lethoalogica. I
- 48:48Speaker 2: actually am not thrilled by Lethoalogica in this particular set,
- 48:55Speaker 2: really partially because, as you're saying, there are not a
- 49:01Speaker 2: lot of drop its, so you're not gonna do monstrous
- 49:04Speaker 2: things with your kronos. And when you play leth Logica,
- 49:08Speaker 2: you flip your other houses down. And I actually think
- 49:12Speaker 2: the other houses are looking better. There are some other
- 49:18Speaker 2: This house is fine, like, you know, I want Eddie's
- 49:22Speaker 2: and I gs right like because they you know, Eddie
- 49:26Speaker 2: sets up your other houses, I g sets up your
- 49:28Speaker 2: other or ig is just a good thing. You'd be
- 49:31Speaker 2: happy to have time travelers in Disania's face shifts are
- 49:37Speaker 2: always fine.
- 49:38Speaker 3: I will say, while you listed the comments that you
- 49:41Speaker 3: want to see, it still does have bat drone, it
- 49:44Speaker 3: still has Ganymede archivis like these are not great.
- 49:48Speaker 2: I actually think Archimedes is not a great although there's
- 49:52Speaker 2: Archimedes BDq. Yeah that's okay.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Yeah, and face shift you got, you got lots of options.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I'm looking at the aquadon.
- 50:05Speaker 3: Quant some compass at uncommon I think is really good too.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Yeah, equodon Is ever grows are great.
- 50:14Speaker 1: There I mean you have market fluctuation. Well, that's that's
- 50:17Speaker 1: that's another.
- 50:18Speaker 2: This is another one where you look at the commons
- 50:22Speaker 2: and you end up with multiple copies of the escalation
- 50:24Speaker 2: which this is a set with less board wipe so
- 50:28Speaker 2: it's place, get it. And then a bunch of auction
- 50:30Speaker 2: offs and a bunch like you look at the commons.
- 50:33Speaker 4: You get they're not They're not good.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so you yeah, they're not winning games.
- 50:39Speaker 3: You have auction off closed door negotiation real good.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Limit limited, isn't it? No?
- 50:46Speaker 4: I got a double closed door, but no closed door
- 50:49Speaker 4: negotiation not good? Now often not good closed door negotiation
- 50:54Speaker 4: is garbage. You really want to just push your opponent
- 50:57Speaker 4: into a key abduction.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Closed door negotiation without the corner of the market to
- 51:03Speaker 2: shut him down for the turn?
- 51:05Speaker 1: Is that's not?
- 51:07Speaker 2: Is not an ARCon car Yes, because most are contacts
- 51:12Speaker 2: are getting better value than one amber for card these days.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and not only that, Like, okay, so I destroyed
- 51:18Speaker 1: your whole Mars board. Uh now I just let you.
- 51:22Speaker 1: I just push you into key abduction, which is a
- 51:24Speaker 1: very meta card at the current time.
- 51:27Speaker 3: No closed stor is your opponent draws a card steal
- 51:30Speaker 3: one if you do and your opponent still has more
- 51:32Speaker 3: amber than repeat, but you're giving us.
- 51:34Speaker 1: I'm giving him a card every time I kill a creature.
- 51:38Speaker 2: No, no, this doesn't kill creatures. It steals amber.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Oh sorry yeah, sorry, I n thing. But either way,
- 51:44Speaker 1: you're still giving them cards.
- 51:47Speaker 3: Correct.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Yeah, same with the escalation. You're yes giving them cards.
- 51:50Speaker 2: The escalation is still fine. Like this this set, the
- 51:56Speaker 2: little bit i've played it. I was worried about the
- 51:58Speaker 2: c in it, but I've run some stats which we
- 52:01Speaker 2: will look at in a bit. The sea isn't as
- 52:04Speaker 2: bad as I thought, but it's really clumpy.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:09Speaker 3: So other comments that you see in Equadon, since we're
- 52:12Speaker 3: talking there, Ledgermaine, gem coat vendor historian Lee Lark Lead. Yeah,
- 52:20Speaker 3: when you're when iron handy iron but this is this
- 52:25Speaker 3: is where you correct iron handy. You also have uh,
- 52:28Speaker 3: Stuart Suzy, and then you have security detail. So those
- 52:32Speaker 3: are those are the cards that you're kind of like.
- 52:35Speaker 2: The thing is Ledgermaine and Stewart at least come with pips,
- 52:40Speaker 2: like they both pip up your deck like bad yep,
- 52:44Speaker 2: but I am not not in love with that. Actually,
- 52:48Speaker 2: when I was looking, I thought the average value of
- 52:52Speaker 2: a common geystoid card was pretty high.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Let's talk about it.
- 52:59Speaker 1: The next one is shouts shadows sort are you looking
- 53:04Speaker 1: at well? Okay, I don't know. Okay, we can go
- 53:06Speaker 1: again alphabetical whatever I'm going in d Okay, just down
- 53:11Speaker 1: down the list. But that's fine.
- 53:13Speaker 2: I'm over on.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Geist. I doesn't look terrible, right, you got atomic destabilizer,
- 53:22Speaker 1: Echo Fly. I'm trying to look for the commons, get boo,
- 53:30Speaker 1: Ectollo de Parabyte, Reaper, Yeah, all all these pretty person
- 53:39Speaker 1: phone Who decided to bring that card back?
- 53:42Speaker 4: That's rare, that's rare, I know.
- 53:44Speaker 1: But who decided that was a good addition?
- 53:50Speaker 4: Yeah? Whoever thought it should go into like Menagerie or whatever?
- 53:54Speaker 2: Stupidness Grim Reaper and Webster. So here's the interesting thing.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Reaper common limit one. And there was another one in
- 54:04Speaker 2: here that we said, the Ecto Church common limit one.
- 54:08Speaker 2: There are so there are eight comments, but two of
- 54:11Speaker 2: them are limited one, which is why we are seeing
- 54:14Speaker 2: quite a lot of three and four be our geists.
- 54:17Speaker 2: And are there twelve comments?
- 54:22Speaker 4: Basically portal guardians and portal guardians of common too.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Yeah whatever, but there's with less comments instead of sixty,
- 54:29Speaker 2: there's twelve, you know, like you're just the and two
- 54:38Speaker 2: of them in this house being fixed rarity ones means
- 54:42Speaker 2: you're just not gonna see a lot of them.
- 54:47Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't have either here somewhere or the junk restoration.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Or the junk restoration. But also thankfully like haunted and
- 54:57Speaker 2: is gone or whatever, the house now haunted, the haunted deck.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Haunting haunting deck.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Like your your actions in here are c all hands,
- 55:11Speaker 2: like yeah, you know, and then that none of them,
- 55:16Speaker 2: Like your worst card is Portal Guardian because it doesn't
- 55:20Speaker 2: do anything on land.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Reaver comes with the pips. It comes with the pips,
- 55:27Speaker 3: but like Webster for Taunt maybe yeah.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Like those are your worst cars and both of those
- 55:32Speaker 2: are functional. It's actually where without the in here Somewhere
- 55:36Speaker 2: is in junks and you look at the rest of
- 55:38Speaker 2: the house, it does actually start to lose some of
- 55:40Speaker 2: its lust.
- 55:42Speaker 4: But still pretty solid list.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Pretty solid list of commons.
- 55:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and the if you go up up market, good stuff.
- 55:56Speaker 2: So what what else do you want to look at next?
- 56:00Speaker 4: You've got for you've got well memory back right, Yeah,
- 56:04Speaker 4: well I've got Echo Fly, you got veil Atomics, a stabilizer. Yeah,
- 56:11Speaker 4: there's not a lot of chaps but gystoids is back
- 56:13Speaker 4: strong feeling. Yeah, but no crap raise, no crap rais
- 56:19Speaker 4: you do have to deal with the banshee suit and
- 56:21Speaker 4: the thrill adapter, right, no, no wins of death and
- 56:25Speaker 4: you got precious fragments.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Thanks precious fragments.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Yeah you still have you still have some really bad ars.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Thanks pressure.
- 56:34Speaker 4: But that you know, that's yeah whatever.
- 56:38Speaker 3: Ruined? Yeah yeah, but with the smaller pool in a
- 56:44Speaker 3: focus more on commons, like you're in a good spot
- 56:47Speaker 3: there overall.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, going back to logos brig end EP or yeah,
- 56:54Speaker 2: finate eruption and EP and a second with twelve commons
- 56:58Speaker 2: is brutal. Getting lots of copies of those is bad.
- 57:04Speaker 1: I'm actually looking at Okay, so I went to Mars.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Mars is an next right, Mars is bad? Mars pretty good?
- 57:12Speaker 3: Ish?
- 57:12Speaker 1: Well common, go ahead, go ahead? Well, okay, first thing
- 57:17Speaker 1: I noticed. I know it's uncommon, but battle Fleet is
- 57:20Speaker 1: here and so is key abduction. Whoever made that decision?
- 57:25Speaker 2: What what?
- 57:28Speaker 3: That's what we want?
- 57:29Speaker 1: I love it, But at the same time, that's what
- 57:31Speaker 1: everyone's bitching about, and so we're doing it again.
- 57:36Speaker 2: Abduction.
- 57:37Speaker 3: Look at what? Look at what your comments are? So
- 57:39Speaker 3: your comments for Mars Collector, Worm, Crimson, Dax Kaboom, Mars First,
- 57:44Speaker 3: Minor Elders, Mother Gun Mix, the Tall Minded Scoop Up Snix,
- 57:49Speaker 3: the bowld Uh, mug mouth Yend, the Links, the six Bolter,
- 57:55Speaker 3: and the six Dominator.
- 57:57Speaker 2: So it's actually teen commons.
- 58:03Speaker 1: The comments aren't terrible?
- 58:05Speaker 2: Are there thirteen commons here? I don't know. Is Mind
- 58:12Speaker 2: your Elders actually a linked rarity card?
- 58:15Speaker 1: I don't think so. That was from the Martian Civil War.
- 58:19Speaker 3: That the Martian Civil War, So.
- 58:20Speaker 2: That, okay. A couple of things with the set that
- 58:23Speaker 2: I think they actually did miss on is this is
- 58:27Speaker 2: the first place that there are Mars cards from Martian
- 58:33Speaker 2: rebels that are playable in the competitive scene, and they're
- 58:37Speaker 2: limited access. I think that was a miss on a
- 58:39Speaker 2: limited access set to be the only place you can
- 58:42Speaker 2: get a Mind your Elders in play.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that that to me feels like correct.
- 58:49Speaker 2: But but there are a couple of other cards from
- 58:53Speaker 2: the Mars thing that is the first place they're they're competitive,
- 58:58Speaker 2: and it's weirdly limited. I mean, like Mars is Mars
- 59:02Speaker 2: First or bust Kaboom is another critical common because there's
- 59:07Speaker 2: only like two common board wipes ones kaboo.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I mean not a command is here, right, and that's
- 59:13Speaker 1: and that is hypnotic command is very even though it's okay,
- 59:18Speaker 1: I love hypnotic command. You can want okay, Stroy, the
- 59:25Speaker 1: ball is here. Yep, that was the next one. I
- 59:27Speaker 1: was going to look.
- 59:27Speaker 2: Atopps in set scoop up super strong scoop is very
- 59:31Speaker 2: very good. I mean, so scoop ups Mars first with
- 59:35Speaker 2: any Mars creatures, battle fleets, and key abductions. That alone
- 59:38Speaker 2: is enough to make.
- 59:39Speaker 1: A crazy Mars and brainstem antenna, even though it's rare
- 59:43Speaker 1: with with a set the small you know you couldn't
- 59:45Speaker 1: get that's a.
- 59:46Speaker 2: That's another like edge case neat card.
- 59:49Speaker 1: But not well but has the possibility to do some things.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Memorrocks the red is here, yes, right, so I mean
- 59:58Speaker 1: he can action maybe a few times MS to do
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: some stuff.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Actually, yeah, I actually think that brainstem and compod are important.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: With the common pool.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Important, it will never be important. Every once in a
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: while we'll do a thing.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: It's slow, but it can ready your creatures and you're
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: gonna need to be able to do something that's there. Again,
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: it's something, but.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: You need to be able to make it go faster,
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: just like you and the Power Rangers. Why are the
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: Power Rangers back? Who wanted those back?
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Luke Gross?
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: So I mean like I thinks there, I think zoo
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: keeper are there.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Looking at what's available and logos? What's available in mars
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Ah because there's destroyed them all, that's a critical card
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: and uh because there's no but there's destroyed them all.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: And then there is still orbita blembardments.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: In set Shatterstone when you talk about Shatterstorne.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's in the list of sort of scaling number.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: But and then the logos is still fine, and then
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: the shadows is best shadows ever? Maybe what's what's mass?
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: But I'm saying like fraud plus ten could be in
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: this set, yes, like everything that's good in fraud except
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: library access the library card.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Library card good.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: But library access isn't critical to fraud either, like it's
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: just a card. It is potential. So now I'm on
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: the shop for fraud plus ten. It's not plus one
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: like it could be plus ten with the set anyways, Okay,
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: sorry sorry and would technically be nextright, So Historian on
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: the Commons is fine, but it's when you get into
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: the on commons.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: Coms, Okay, Commons, I'll read it through Citizen Shricks, Octavia,
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Big Poem, epic Poem, Faust, Laposaurus, Odoac Paling to Significance, Golden.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Spiral, good tribute and.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: And comes back with what's going to be there for
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: some uncommon tribute and.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: A set that's got most of temper and exile.
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: Again and the ideal right and yeah, and the and.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: The ideals back and Golden Spiral with some of the well,
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: you can see that one of those things that Dave does,
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: it's Golden Spiral reaver yep because then like the hammer
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: that you're putting on the river just goes away and
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: you're turning cards so you could stay in Sourian forever.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: Imperial Forge is also.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Their Imperial Forge super real in this set because there
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: is a lot of capture.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Cross the sours to capture, I think, to be able
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: to I think epic poem, to be able to bust
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: on the.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: You can crass epic followed by exiling or or sem
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: it sometimes yeah, like the the bursty stupidness and sour
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: and is real high what it and it packs is
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: in set, yes, but things that are missing is axiom
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: and that is actually a critical missing there there is
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: no that, and the failing strike also missing.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: And also here no failing strike is here, yes, and for.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: Here stomp is here. So like this, this is a
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: house where the sea can be bad.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: You also protiate, but rare now, but you do get
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: to choose.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: It's not great, but I think with all of the
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: capture and ability to bust up with the Saurian cleiger
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: ideal is really important. Like this is again another solid
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: card to be able to have practices there. I'm not
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: personally seen bractice, but no scrot them.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: But you do have Luto.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you have Luto on common as a common and
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: again this twelve common sect, there's a lot of lootos.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Yeah, or our hisso is back to I do love
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: me some hisso with Phil? Yeah Phil is Phil, that
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Bill do work? Not a regret of just to throw
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: a kink in your to throw a kick and everything.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Incredible meteor why.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Not mm hmm, meaning well car for the most part.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Greatest, the greatest hips for Saurian regrettable meteor just throw
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: it in there.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just sad here because if you look at
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: the houses, the house makeup does not have large creatures.
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: There's no brovnar that's in your like and so it
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: just maybe if you're playing a mirror with another Sarian
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: and you start by hitting it and then playing you're Sorian,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: but it's just it's.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: Not your exile.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, you're gonna have to find those
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: combos again. That's six semper that you know, that's six
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Sumper combo, the.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Sorry combos real, Okay, shadows you want to talk about shadows? Shadows,
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: shadows shadows. Comments are back to what shadows. Commons are.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: They're either like yes or no, oh no, because you've
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: got a's and jay Ven does, you've got shoulderids, you
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: got seeker needles.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Run, Ronnie back old old favorite right and then Hugger
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: mugger right and Hugger mugger.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Those are those are the bad ones back both fine
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: hit and runs Fine Nerve Blast is back Life for Life.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: There is Brends in the set TMTPS. Mercans like Mercans
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: do Marcan things. I love merchants.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you're bouncing out of the commons.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I am bouncing out of the comments. I'm just scrolling down.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: But yeah, vandam so your comments are the two vendas bonitting,
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: hit and run, Hugger, mugger, life for life, miasma which
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: wasn't talked about, nerve blast, Ronnie Seeker, needle shoulder, and
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: then vandalize.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: So so there things that master plan is in set.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: That's always a very strong card. TMTP right, like you're
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: seeing a lot of TMTP Ronnie, TMT bon.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Knitting, TMTV nerve blasts.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Yeah. So like TMTP is super live in this at
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: which makes autoact all that much more important. But isn't
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: that stupid other giant dinosaur that turns steel in the
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: capture and set.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Too says you can't well you can't cap, you cannot
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: steal if he has no he's there, gant Garganai is back, that.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: Would be yeah, yes, because Gregantadon is ganon only deals
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: four when fighting each amber that would be stolen as
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: captured by a creature controlled by the active player instead
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: at sixteen power is important here.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Because the anti inset, the anti steel is there. Yes,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: I'm almost surprised that, and maybe it is up there
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: the logos anti steel upgrade.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: But who knows?
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: And then what so shadows super real on the set.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: With well it has a chain gang and and uh
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: chainking and subtle chain can be a thing if it's
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: got I don't know if it's got enough speed to
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: loop that. But this set has TMTP and ig and
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: miasma in it, right, so it's like white. They love
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: to see bounce, especially when.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Key cost increase in Eddie, so you can definitely like,
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: I think the tmtps are going to hit hard with
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: this set.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: I actually in set playing VM twenty five to twenty five,
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: I actually like Mole against the Saurian and it's just
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: a card that you don't see a ton of, but
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: it allows you if they have large amber on or
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: a large stack stockpile and amber pinata, you place Mole
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: and actually utilize it.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: So now their plan is an interesting card in this set.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Yeah that's the oh you said that. Yeah, that was
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: a good one. I just I didn't very interesting with
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: the omniability to play the card beneath it. You know
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: a little bit of house cheating which didn't really come
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: up and code.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: It, a little bit of fish empty.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Yeah, so what about fish our fish next? Do we
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: not have starlants in the set.
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: There's some good stuff.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: But no, but is it I'm not.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: The twelve. Let's go through your twelve commons. That's where
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: we're at a busal site okay, y, yes, I'm there,
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: adult swim okay, yeah, bubbles okay, brain brain drain.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: M okay, I'm not too good on brain d.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: Okay, little capture echoing death now, corky germinator no thanks, yeah,
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: mailstrom no memal leitch m m.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: There like my And here's also the crab, which is
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: just not as good.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Yeah yeah.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: Yeah, let's skull back crab, tangi mangi okay, trawler, Yes,
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: you're twelve.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Look at all again. Look at how much amber control
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: is in the comments here one, two, three, four, five, six, five,
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: five of these cards are Amber controlled.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: It's just it's just missing befuddled. It's really missing befuddled.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. I also like a bysal site still
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: very strong, right, don't get the biz site very strong,
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: But in a set that doesn't have destroyed effects stuff
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: and tokens, it hurts a lot more to play that card.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Like dark Discovery and dive deep that that whole sets
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: back in here and you do do you have the
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: illusions of grandeur? Yeah? You do looking, you know, it's
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: not what I'm looking for.
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: If you look at the uncommons and the rares, this
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: is where it gets the cards that jump out from
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: me at the uncommon and rare illusions, Grandeur, catch and
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: release column, Corrode just because it's a little bit of
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: artifact control.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: But Coup is kind of not great without Brio. I mean,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: it's fine, it's strong, it's strong strong.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Also has one of the highest creature protection scores out there,
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: so is very real.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: Yeah. In here you have gate Watcher with your taunt
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: in Unfathomable.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Though, plus Omni Pies and then yes, so.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: That was I'm just scrolling down, but those are the
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: only two that I'm seeing. Whirlpool coming back for those
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: who love Whirlpool, but like, you don't.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Mean the one person that likes Whirlpool.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: Just three. So yeah, the the Dirge of the Deep
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: is in here with Dark Discovery. That's another one that
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: really helps you fire that the really make game state confusing.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: General Sherman is back. Yeah, so that that one's interesting.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Bunch is just junk now, Yeah, Faz is back.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Thinging from the Deep, which is not great is back.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: Under Pressure is back, like then there's Tanny wah Is back. Yeah,
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: somebody needs a foot right in there. It was like
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: we made fun of that card for being bad. Well,
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: I guess Tanawi isn't that bad because he doesn't.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: It's the it's still that doesn't destroy a friendly creature
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: in game one.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: But it's not the one that requires you to exhaust
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: you guys to play him. It was that version of
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: junk Giant fish.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Man and I know freaking redemptions in the setol Sybil.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: Waymaer is back and that card does weird things.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: Yeah, that is a weird one.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: That Yeah, that's just af there's one that lets you
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: like put cards on the bottom or top of your deck.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Oh gosh, yeah no, that was what I thought was
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Illusions of Grandeur. It's not. I forgot what one it is,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: but yeah, there's.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: Guilt Spine Mesmerist after player ready as a card, discard
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: the top card of their deck, scrap discard the top
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: three cards of a player's deck.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: But like I opened mind the other day and it
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: had fish and all it had was gate Watchers and
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Hoctua ice fins.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: I heard I heard speed sigle, right, speed siggle being around.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: That's that's a card pretty much.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, So all right, so we touched on
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: our favorite cards. I spent a few minutes putting together
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: the some averages of So I have all five hundred
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: and fifty VM decks, I sent you guys the link
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: gr amber skies, and for the joke of it, I
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: put in all fifteen hundred Discovery decks. Oh boy, So,
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: as we said earlier, average sass VM leads that with
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: seventy seven to seven, and then grs at seventy six
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: as is seventy two. Discovery is sixty seven. Big huge job.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: But here's where some of the big ones synergy ratings.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: Now these are all decks of key Forde stats. But
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: the synergy rating in VM twenty five is eighteen, and
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: then the next HIZT is gr AT fourteen. So like
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: they made the like VM twenty five looks a little
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: bit to me, like he like they went, let's take
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: the greatest hits of AOA and CODA and stick them
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: back in the set, right, And then they went and
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: then the greatest hits of Worlds Glide Story, and uh,
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: they missed the greatest hits of fish right, there's no funnel,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: like they kind of took each house and they they
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: did menagerie where they're like, let's just put the greatest
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: hits in. So like the synergy rating really high and
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: the anti synergy rating is also pretty low.
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: So that's that's interesting. And here's the next stat am troll.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: When you're looking at anti synerdry it's interesting one for
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: VM twenty five one point one for GR it's actually
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: Amber Skies is showing up at six tenths, and then
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Discovery at Yeah, because.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: When all the cards suck, they can't all have ant
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: they don't have any anti.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: So but Discovery with its one point four it's an
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: anti synergistic set. It is there a new players have
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: a bunch of crap that doesn't work together. Have fun. Yeah, okay,
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: so Amber Control Okay, I don't know if you guys.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Are you guys actually looking at the numbers.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, JR yep, yep.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Okay, So this is like the big difference. GR actually
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: had an Amber Control score that came in just under nine,
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: and then AS is just over ten, and then it
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: jumps to fourteen three when you go to VM and
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: this is an average. So like VM decks, we've seen
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: them already. These VM decks that are in like the
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: twenty five to thirty range for amber control. The amber
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: control in VM is crazy. It has four or five
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: real scaling amber control cards. And this is where I
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: wish we had the count system put together that Z
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: had done, because it used to count how many amber
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: control cards that were uncommon, uncommon and rare because it
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: is high. Right there were five in fish there are
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: like six out of the eight in and shadows were
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: amber control cards, two or three in Saran where amber
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: control cards at least two in logos were amber control cards.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Like every house there are multiple amber control cards on
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: the common cards. So this set is a significant step
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: up in amber control.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: So that's.
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: That.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: I don't know, it seems crazy. It's that much higher,
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Like from what when the sets have been averaging nines
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: and tens to jump up to fourteen, is that a
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: big big step up expected amber? It's lowest out of
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: everything outside of discovery, but it's close like twenty one
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: mid twenty one's to high twenty twenty point eight to
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: twenty one three and twenty one four. Not a huge change.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: And then again the creature protection number and that stead
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: is based off of war words, taunts and things that
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: make it so creatures can't be fought and killed. And
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: this set is one point twenty six versus the point
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: eight and point nine for grn AS, So like, your
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: ability to protect key creatures from this is really hot?
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Are there? When we were going through there there were
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: like philosopher sources and strong grief creatures, so it could
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: be really good. Has artifact control right in line with
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: many of the other sets. Creature Controlled actually came out
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: in between GR and AS, so I thought it was
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: going to be low. It has an average of about twelve.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: GR has thirteen, AS has eleven point six. They all
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: have a standard deviation in the five range, so you know,
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: like really, when you look at a VM you're talking about,
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: you're going to have a creature control score between six
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: and fifteen seventeen.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: And that's interesting because Dras had listed the board clears here,
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: so catch and release generally.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: That's that's what I do.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: Mailstrom, Kaboom, Strange Gizmo returned to rubble, and then the
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: ad tertiates sleep with the fishes you'd thrown in Echoing Death. Now, yeah,
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: those are the I know and wipe regrettable meteor and
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: then bouncing death Quark. So I mean that.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: It still doesn't feel like there's a lot to me,
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: but with Kaboom and de escalation on common. But you know,
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: those are only two houses.
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: We don't have a ton of targeted creature removal.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Though, doesn't feel like a lot. And when I was playing,
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: it also didn't feel like a lot, Like the sea
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: just didn't feel really strong for me in the set. Yeah,
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: anything else so interesting things to me? Discovery has has
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: the lowest creature control at under ten, also has the
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: highest average creature count of a deck. So it's here's
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: a lot of creatures with a lot of protection and
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: no way to kill them.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Yep, so it really down.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but what it really turns Discovery into is it
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: makes Sanctum good, right because it's like there's a bunch
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: of trashy creatures who actually survive and can kill the
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: little creatures and then out of set they're really bad
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: because board wifes just clean them. And the effective power
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: in VM twenty five against super low sixty six point
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: six versus seventy two and seventy three for gRNAs.
- 1:20:45Speaker 4: Like not, it doesn't matter that much.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of effective power, but a lot of
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: protections so you can keep the little creatures alive easier hopefully.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: And then I in efficiency, I'm pretty I don't know.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: Does d okay not make house pimps count towards efficiency?
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: That comes in low? And interestingly, Discovery, out of these
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: four sets does have the highest efficiency average, really because
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: the logos is that good in Discovery.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: And then I didn't get a chance to sort the list.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: But the other really interesting stat in VM twenty five
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: is disruption. Disruption in GR was twenty five, and as
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: it's two point eight, go figure disruption in discovery is
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: one point four because you know that's can't have that.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: But the disruption in VM twenty five is four point
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: one six, like not quite double, but sixty percent higher whatever.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: Then the next one and there's no befuddles, there's no
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: control of the weeks, just wondering what creates all. I
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: guess there are subtle chains, yeah, there were. There was
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: a lot of disruption in fish.
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: Yes, that's I don't know, site with the bubbles the
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: brain drain, yeah, can we I'm assuming adult swim would
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: also by putting it back on the top of your strack,
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: so that would be there catch and release falling into that.
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: Even the shadows, Yeah, Mailstrom, I'm trying to think of
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: shadows should have had the same with the return. Oh,
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: it was vandalized, lights out, vandalized. You had a couple
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: of things that are jumping out.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: What else is there that's interesting? Upgrade count is less
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: than one in VM twenty five.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Yeah, there are one, A, one.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Three, and over two in Discovery. You get your upgrades
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: in Discovery. Oh no. And then Discovery also comes in
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: at the lowest for bonus amber in a deck because
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: it's all crappy creatures though so bad and there are
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: no there are no discard pips in Discovery.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: That's not a yeah, but it does have the most.
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: It does have the most bonus draw and bonus damage
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: pips of any of these sets. Draws interesting, it draws fun.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: I guess that's part of what makes it such an
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: efficient set. I would guess, m he cheat counts fine.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: Archive v twenty five also out of these sets, is
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: leading the archive charge.
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: Eddie archimedies.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Uh eureka hide. Yeah. The logos, the logos, the logos,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: and then.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: An interesting stat that I didn't even know is in
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: here total armor, So the total armor and VM twenty five,
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: which does not have sanctum, is five point five.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: I'm sorry, which then which.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: GR has two point five, which also didn't have sanctum,
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: but as that does is at four point two, and
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: then good old, good old Discovery is actually in the
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: charge at almost five point six. So we have a
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: ton of creatures with no creature control and a boatload
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: of armor. Mm hm oh VM twenty five Discovery. So
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: VM twenty five, it doesn't like it really leads significantly
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: in amber control and of the recent set's archiving. But
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: with all the archive ete that may not actually be.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: Great.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: I don't know. Like when I was playing my few
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: games i've played, it feels like good coda AOA, but
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: it's not good enough on average to deal with the
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: speed that VM or the speed that GR seems to
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: win with, or amber Sky's disruption and duty. I don't know.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: But I've only played four decks, so what.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: Do I know.
- 1:25:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I've not played that much.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: But I mean the two I got have crazy, I
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: got I got one that's got what quad arcons call back?
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: You can't you can't take the ten decks we've opened,
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: because we have the stats here to say that. Like,
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: and the one, the one I opened right, I played
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: and I went to one with and got greedy and
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: didn't get the TMTP was a It had eddies, it
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: had tmtps, it had I did not have Ronnie's. I
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: think I had tmtps and I had bone nittings and
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: nerve blasts and stuff. And then I did have Tribute
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: Exile in that deck and a Philly and plenty of
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: decent stuff, Like the deck is eighty something and it's yeah,
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: it's definitely good. I guess it was good for opening
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: and played in a sealed round and now I just
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: don't ever care about it ever. Again, nothing in it's
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: good enough to even think about playing an Alliance like
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: I do think. I mean, I there are no triple
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: battle Fleet decks printed in the set yet, but there
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: is a double battle Fleet double key Abduction deck, and
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: there is certainly the ability for logos to stack you
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: up a giant hand, So an improved version of the
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: Alliance deck Wikie put Away, or an improved version of
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: fraud like those kinds of things I do believe can exist.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: And that is still a functional arch type in this environment.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: So I do actually think there is the potential for
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: a V twenty five deck to be vault to her
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: winning good for sure.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: There is.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: There's enough great cards here.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Well, there is a why am I drawing a blanket?
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: What these are called anomaly too? In this set? Is
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: or not?
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a bunch of anomalies in the SAT ones.
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: There's actually fourteen of them.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: There's fourteen anomalies.
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: Yeah, so I actually had pulled that up and threw
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: that in. And some of them are repeats ghost Form, Infomancer, Yeah,
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: Lateral Shift, Memoith Music, the Forgotten, and then Timequake. But
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: there are quite a few new ones as well, which
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: brings some interesting flare.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Yeah, so oh my, and.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: So we should talk about these ones?
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if a lot of these are
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: in PV. Are they all in TV?
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: I don't know. Why don't we talk about that next week?
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: We can talk about that next week because we have
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: help from futures or help from another self, help from
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: another from another ranger.
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: All right, So what I was already debating my list here,
- 1:29:01Speaker 4: But what do you guys think the ordering of houses
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: best the worst for this set?
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: Is it would appear to me. Well, it depends, right,
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: like if you're just playing flat out fair. Yeah, now
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: they're at the yeah so bottom, they're they're number seven.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: Number six is fish m hm yep, agreed. Number five.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: Mars.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: I want to say Mars, but also have the potential
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: to like blow up. But yeah.
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: One amazing Mars.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: But Mars like in opening and sealed. I'm I'm going
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: from a sealed perspective.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, same here, So Mars. I think Mars will
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: be the house Mars at five.
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: Logos set four. This is where started debating. I did
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: not put logos at four.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: Now logo logos could be higher too, though.
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: So now I put it gid, I've stuff, but it
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: is missing the two no junk, no in here Yeah fine,
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: yeah fine stated at four you talked me into it
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: because you had no junk, no no in here somewhere.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: Because it it comes down to, I think you want
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: logo shadow sorian.
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you do, and I had Sorry in it. Three.
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: I think I think Sorry way higher. I think I
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: think it's one either one or two. Okay, I think
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: that I think it has your amber burst. I think
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: it has well, it also has a lot of your
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: control and able to do the ability to.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: It has everything except really good c Yeah this sept
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: does and we didn't even say it because we don't
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: think about this set. Does have didn see Rex Golden
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: Spiral again.
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true, that's true.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: With louds like this is this is like, this is
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: like the greatest hits outside of They didn't put in
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: our six to one dinosaur what's his name? The six
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: one six one play after fight capture?
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: Oh oh oh yes, uh.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: Yes, really good card.
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: Yes, he's a good card too. They did put Optial
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: gorcass in though, so they're some junk.
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: Well that explains why none of my decks have coming out,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: because I've gotten fishing both the mine both mines that
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: I opened.
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: I would have given up Octavia to have thorough Centurion.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: There you go there after fight capture two yep, yep, yep.
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: The logos at two and shadows at one is what
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: I did.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think logos is I want to say,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: logos is a three shadows to sorry in one logo
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: Like yeah, they turned cards, but like I mean that's
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: a role player.
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: I think I don't think one, two and three matter.
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: I think for me, we all have the same top three.
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: I will argue that's there. For me, it's sorry in one,
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: logos two and then shadows three, But that's just where
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: it is. I think they're all there. I I do
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: think that there's some aspects of geistoy that can easily
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: be slopped in there, yep. But I think one and
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: three are pretty straightforward. Yeah, I think you're sad to
- 1:32:52Speaker 3: see others.
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: Shadows shadows once again on the standard commons. So for
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: from the if your opponent doesn't make amber, your shadows
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: cards are bad, right, And that's the thing that happens
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: with shadows is like if your opponent doesn't make amber,
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: or if they're good at key cheating, shadows can all
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: of a sudden just not do anything in your deck.
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: So I still think that's why you don't see a
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: ton of shadows at top end alliance. I mean, it
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: can be good, for sure, but at the same time,
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: it also like sometimes they just don't make amber and
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: then you have a handful of shadows and you have
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: to turn them for nothing where like the story and stuff,
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: even if you aren't capturing a bunch, you're still doing
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: other stuff. So I just That's where I get stuck
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: in Shadow sometimes is sometimes people just aren't making amber.
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: That's fair, that's fair, I'll I'll buy that.
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: Or they have a board and they're making amber faster
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: than you can steal with the Shadows, and Shadows doesn't
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: have enough sea. It's another place where Shadows loses games
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: right where it's just like, yeah, I can keep you
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: off key this turn, but then you just reap for
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: something again next turn, and one of your creatures is
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: capturing two when he does it, So I am not
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: going to forge and I'm going to lose this game.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: Like that kind of stuff happens with Shadows. I feel
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: too often for me to love it as much as
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: we did back in the Code to Day, where you know,
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: boards didn't win.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: I was kind of wondering, like, with key sheets being
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: so relevant, that's how most games are being won, is
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: key sheets.
- 1:34:38Speaker 2: I agree it is they are less logo or Shadows
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: is less good in the world full.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: Of key cheeks yep, and there's more in the set.
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: And I like, I really think the like and I
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: think JR was doing that to me. You the Imperial Forge,
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: like the Imperial Forge is super real in this set.
- 1:34:59Speaker 3: Yeah, well that what's really actually tricky on that is
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: Imperial Forge and then Mamet so it just gets played
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: again where it's like, oh no, you're on a time clock, correct,
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: That is where the geist aid is brutal, so watch
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: for it.
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: Sure, yeap? So okay, all right, so we mostly agreed
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: on something. Good job, guys, Yeah, we agreed.
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: So we'll be going over anomaly Is next week because
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: some of these are pretty interesting. Absolutely, I don't know
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: if any of them are are big winners. Maybe some
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: of them. I mean, Lateral Shift is always a big winner,
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: but that's old news. That's old. Yeah, But I guess
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: the big question is is Vault Master's twenty five the
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: boogeyman that JM claims it to be.
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: Come fighting?
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: I mean, I agree with Jam's thing that it isn't
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: increasing attendance significantly at Vault tours. Well, nothing right, And
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: that's the thing is, I don't I don't outside of him, well,
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: I don't know. I think most of the players who
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: have quit because of something like VM, we're already quitting.
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: We're already quitting.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: Anything was going to make them quit anyway, They.
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: Were already on the way out. You know they're quitting
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: because you know the decks they had are no longer,
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: you know, like, yeah, the lie that is everything is
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: good forever, which is both true and a lie because
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: it's not good enough anymore. And when we start talking
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: about PV and some of the Reep strengthen the cards there,
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: that continues to seem to be the truth. Your old
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: cards are not good enough outside of like the six
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: that are good enough to keep getting reprinted.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: However, you can still play them. They're evergreen. You can
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: play them forever. You can lose with them forever, yep,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: but you're going to have to buy some new shit
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: if you want to be competitive. Welcome to tcg's Yeah,
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: the land we all live in. Even even even Sheep
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: felt Fraud wasn't good enough.
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: Mind still but still the coolest deck in key Forge. Though,
- 1:37:22Speaker 4: the coolest deck in key Forge, one.
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: Of the most Vault compete it in all of the worlds.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: It does have a it does have a storied history, indeed,
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: but I don't think Vault Master twenty five is the
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: boogeyman that he claims it to be. And I don't
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: feel like giving it out at Vault Tours is as
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: big a deal as he wants it to be.
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: Well, of course, none of us like it is because
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: we get to go to Vault Tours.
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: Well this is true, but I mean, but yeah, I it.
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: I you know, like, if if we could show proof
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: that the investment in making the actually cost us more
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: store level op, I would be right over there jam
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: saying like murder the VM. But I don't believe those
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: two things are meaningful linked in that way because the
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: way they silo junk over at Ghost Galaxy. It may
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: be run like a small company, but I don't those
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: kinds of things are being done by different people that
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: don't cross paths with their other duties.
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: Yeah, alrighty well, with that being said, I suppose we'll
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: see y'all next week.
