- 0:00A7 The overall theme and it's a powerful theme.
- 0:06Again, it brings out maybe the strong side of ourselves and
- 0:10that is we should not accept something that's inappropriate.
- 0:13They should be bothered or something comes out.
- 0:17There's nothing against Kabocha Mine.
- 0:19We should bother us from saying it's all obviously we had this
- 0:21spot and this literally is a fun cause story, but people will
- 0:25bother by lack of Kabocha Mine and it should bother us.
- 0:29Literally it should. You should feel bad when you see
- 0:32something that's wrong and you should feel good when you see
- 0:34things that are broke up with your mind.
- 0:36That should be your approach to things.
- 0:38So you said let me play out there.
- 0:39Read from the words on 398. He says there's that question.
- 0:44If you love someone and they get hurt, they get insulted, you're
- 0:48going to jump up and defend them.
- 0:50Or is that for shoot Camini show?
- 0:53I have the capital E Charlo. Imagine you have a Sibima that
- 0:56scene that you know the crew guys said to you and some guys
- 1:00are just going out there. Your friend or maybe someone is
- 1:04not being nice to your wife or something with your kids to have
- 1:07a bad day with. Someone's talking to you guys
- 1:09their own way and you want to pounce in the gun.
- 1:11You're not an angry person. You'll not ever talk that way
- 1:14and they would never do it beyond defense.
- 1:16You would never say that beyond defense, but your child making a
- 1:20rail on your child, they're going to talk about the other
- 1:22way, about your kid or about your wife or about your friend
- 1:25in front of you and you're sitting there.
- 1:26It's making you burn. That's feeling that emotion.
- 1:30We talk about emotion. That emotion is something that
- 1:33we are supposed to sense when it comes to them.
- 1:36Talking about your best friend, that best friend being God,
- 1:39which means someone goes out there and says something about
- 1:44Judaism should bother you. If it's a negative thing about
- 1:46you, it should bother you. If someone does something that
- 1:49is a fool of a shame, whether it's your people of your own
- 1:53nook or people of the other issue, say something that's anti
- 1:56Hashem, it shouldn't bother you. It should actually we should
- 1:59feel an emotion. Someone passes a law and the
- 2:02government passes a law that's anti tura.
- 2:05You should feel an emotion. When people walk around the
- 2:07streets and they do things that are so against morality and they
- 2:13really make you, you feel funny. You should feel funny and you
- 2:16should be happy. OK, you feeling funny because
- 2:18what you are sensing is I am revealing the facts and I have
- 2:22this emotion that I really love God.
- 2:25If I didn't love God I wouldn't care.
- 2:27And if I don't care it's an indication that my love is not
- 2:30so strong. My love is in full display when
- 2:35I really treat a sham like another person that comes to
- 2:38love and the same way to get into the first second, them
- 2:41being attacked would bother me. When it comes to God and His way
- 2:45and his foot up and His way of life and his people, all that
- 2:49then being attacked bothersome. So you say you feel the most in
- 2:53that emotion allowed to be angry like we went that all the all
- 2:58the emotions that you're supposed to have a balance of
- 3:01land you can't have sometimes sometimes you said it when it
- 3:04comes to anger, they should never have anger.
- 3:06Could you say this? It is that.
- 3:07Sense so that be a mystical great question.
- 3:09Everyone else is the words I hate.
- 3:11I hate those who hate car and the real.
- 3:14That was not a first thing who had hate on his lips.
- 3:17I don't know if he said cost, but he did say hate.
- 3:21Now, I don't think that becomes a reactionary emotion, but it
- 3:25does become a disparaging emotion, which means you should
- 3:30put them down, take them down, don't give them the light of
- 3:34day, don't give them a chance to talk, don't allow them to have
- 3:38them at the table. All those arguments which we
- 3:41often say, come on, give them a chance, Let them say that point.
- 3:45They have a point. They're 20% right, 80% right.
- 3:49All those logics go out the window when you display this
- 3:52emotion, Joe. So the answer is, I don't know
- 3:54if it's called Cos. I'm not barking to say Cos, but
- 3:58I do have backed him to say sin. Ah, there was a concept called
- 4:03hating those who hate God as the villa metals approach, hating
- 4:08Hashem for hating those we hate our shame.
- 4:12And it's a wild concept. And this is some point.
- 4:14And by the way, I think of that topic when I think of this
- 4:17discussion, I always think about that topic.
- 4:19The reason this is so important, it could be those for people, or
- 4:22it can be people who are pumping these crazy ideologies, people
- 4:27on the college campuses from pumping all these liberal ideas
- 4:30and then making you feel guilty to not accept their ideas.
- 4:33All right, So the reason this is important is twofold. 1, it's a
- 4:39reflection. Literally, you have a
- 4:41thermometer in your brain. The thermometer is asking how
- 4:45much do you love God and the thermometer in oaths.
- 4:49This is if seeing those people, people who are anti Asian who
- 4:53live in an anti Asian life, if hearing about that, if looking
- 4:57at if listening to them give you ideologies and ideas.
- 5:00If it doesn't bother you, it's an indication that my
- 5:04thermometer and serene areas and my love of Hashem, if it doesn't
- 5:08get very hot, any frustration, it's an indication you're not
- 5:12getting very hot and love of God, that's how it works.
- 5:16That's how far the thermometer goes.
- 5:17That's one. Secondly, this is equally as
- 5:20important of my own opinion and the outcome even more important
- 5:23and that is you want the people around you to reflect your
- 5:27opinions. Why?
- 5:28Because you want them to know where you hold up.
- 5:31We don't go out there, we don't protest, we don't yell and
- 5:33scream. You don't Rabba doesn't give a
- 5:35speech anymore about negativity and never hearing they give a
- 5:37speech ever anymore, right. So how do you know what people
- 5:40really hold the answer really is what bothers them shows.
- 5:45I'll give you an example with me and my children all the time.
- 5:48I hope this carries over one more time.
- 5:51I have to walk down the street. This happened this first Friday.
- 5:54I have to walk down the street and you have a gory.
- 5:57You can't avoid it. You have a gory and they drop
- 6:00curses. All right, you're walking by.
- 6:02This happens to me all the time. I don't know why.
- 6:05It's my luck. You let your brother walk with
- 6:06them. All right, Hey, job for this
- 6:10here. So what do I do?
- 6:11I have the same line every time my kids started to It's like my
- 6:14joke last night. I used to originally I used to
- 6:18try to develop a shelter mentality.
- 6:20You can shelter, which means you don't bring it into your house.
- 6:23You don't let them see this is on your friend.
- 6:25Understood. At the same time, you can't
- 6:27avoid it. But I know that those who try to
- 6:30avoid and then the few times the kids hear it, forget about it.
- 6:33So on my approach is escape. Maybe it's a joke, maybe it's
- 6:36silly, but it works. Oh, and I say these words I just
- 6:40said, if we can repeat these words, a goy is a goy is a goy
- 6:44is a goy every time. And what it does is it takes
- 6:48down the whole impression that they have.
- 6:52We are all attracted to the street.
- 6:53We grew up attracted to the street for whatever reason, and
- 6:56now we have to combat that. They have to combat that always.
- 6:59They do the same line. You see a goy is a goy is a
- 7:01good. And then what I do with them is,
- 7:03and this is also very effective. It happens to be.
- 7:05And some people say it's not going to work.
- 7:07It doesn't really work. I thought you see that guy?
- 7:09My son came over to me. He said Dad with when she bought
- 7:12a meal. Dad, who holds Amazon?
- 7:15OK, does the guy own Amazon? Up to disparage him when
- 7:19recording. But does the guy own Amazon?
- 7:21Very old, is he? How old is he?
- 7:23I said, is he his name? Jeff.
- 7:24His name is Jeff. Paul.
- 7:25Jeff. Wow.
- 7:26He must be very, very rich, Dad. I said, yeah, he really is.
- 7:30I said it's one of his kids. I said, by the way, everybody,
- 7:33you would not want his life, OK? He had a simple life and then
- 7:38his life, I'm not saying it's the worst life, but it got kind
- 7:41of weird recently and he's delivered a strange life and he
- 7:44ready to split his money. So you would not want his life,
- 7:47right? And they're just an argument and
- 7:50how you could say you would want his life and you could say, OK,
- 7:52big deals. They got divorce, people get
- 7:53divorce. I understand that.
- 7:55They say, OK, big deal. He was a nice guy.
- 7:57Yeah, but he caught there was no reason.
- 7:59And yeah, he kind of spoiled out of control and staying these
- 8:03kind of true with Bill Gates and saying that you're all these
- 8:05guys and I'm not saying that these people out of the worst
- 8:08life ever, I'm not going to, you know, relax on that point.
- 8:11They easily can replace that challenge by other replacements.
- 8:15I'm aware. But at the same time, there's
- 8:18not much there. That's the reality.
- 8:20You and I both know it. They don't have our families,
- 8:23they don't have our background, they don't have our communities.
- 8:25They don't have our meaning. They don't have our purpose.
- 8:28And you might say, yeah, but they can replace it with the
- 8:30money. I hear you.
- 8:31Ultimately, we can pretty much rest assured they even if those
- 8:35two do, what are the odds that our kids have to get as wealthy
- 8:39as those two men? They can't really gather their
- 8:41family together be able like women do it.
- 8:44Why do I get console? Yeah, play.
- 8:48You have to display a sense that our value system is significant,
- 8:53but that the last purpose, which is to keep these other minds
- 8:57out. So we have two cores as to why
- 9:00we hate. And yes, that's our strong word.
- 9:04Want to be very clear, in America, hate is reflected
- 9:07action. I'm not talking about that at
- 9:09all at all. Not at all.
- 9:12Hate is a mindset And this concept, which means it bothers
- 9:16me. It bothers me their way of life.
- 9:18It bothers me when someone gets on TV and starts to talk about
- 9:22ideologies that you know are wrong, that are off, that are
- 9:25terrible, that are harmful to the kids.
- 9:27It bothers you. Doesn't it bother you?
- 9:30Gets me crazy if you walk and you shouldn't be and you see
- 9:33people eye poos every time. Every time I see a nasty tattoo,
- 9:37I still, I still can't stomach it.
- 9:39And not because I don't think that there's a way in my mind to
- 9:42make them look pretty. I'm sure there's a way I could
- 9:45wire my brain to make them look good.
- 9:47I'm sure there's a way. If I go down that crazy mindset,
- 9:50I can hear it. It's more about the fact I don't
- 9:53want my kids to go up in a world that these things are normal.
- 9:56I remember a world without an advertisement.
- 9:58They would never, ever, ever show a person with a tattoo.
- 10:02Now, today, they still show you the clean person, but they also
- 10:06show you that person, too. They wanted to show you the
- 10:08normal. Then they want to show you the
- 10:10hip key. Lewitt's hip.
- 10:12It's hip. For a guy to make a decision at
- 10:1430 that's going to ruin us. That's going to make ugly at 40
- 10:18or at 50 or at 60. It's hip.
- 10:20They try to commit you on that. So I you driving me crazy
- 10:23because we have to live in this world.
- 10:24These are things that drive me crazy.
- 10:26My pet peeves of life are working on the street and seeing
- 10:30people living their crazy lifestyle or seeing people dress
- 10:33crazy ways or using crazy language for these two reasons.
- 10:36One, because it's defying God and it's defying God's way and
- 10:41they carrying and hand like about your mind and stance and
- 10:44everything that they do. 2 because we don't want that
- 10:47barrier to ever be broken, not even a drop.
- 10:51Because you want our unbelievably sacred and
- 10:54beautiful world to remain this way.
- 10:56The comforting concept is this. The comforting concept is this.
- 11:01Over the last 10 to 15 years, maybe 20 years, you would have
- 11:05thought growing up in this world, greatest people in this
- 11:08world, that we would have fallen.
- 11:10You would have thought somehow they would have made it a rose.
- 11:12Didn't make it a rose. They made some, but not enough.
- 11:16And they're, according to the percentage, not at all what they
- 11:19could have done. So the comforting concept is, is
- 11:22that somehow we had a bounce back and somehow we have a CERN.
- 11:27I wouldn't say we're not, you know, get ahead of myself, but a
- 11:30certain sense of protection community in this community, in
- 11:34that area. Like we never let the Alians
- 11:36into Syria. I know.
- 11:38But it's surprised, Dave. It was very surprising because
- 11:40we had college, which is very strong.
- 11:43We have all these influence which is unbelievably strong.
- 11:46And somehow some way, we have this unique kind of, I think
- 11:49it's an open miracle and it's one of the biggest miracles in
- 11:52the world. And that is we have this unique
- 11:54wiring that although we're as worldly as it gets and as those,
- 11:58we're all over the place and we're out there and we're
- 12:00involved and we're in business and we're with it and we're well
- 12:03off and we're connected. Somehow we ended up liking our
- 12:08style more and rather than say it's all taram, it's what taram,
- 12:12it's what's part of it, it's our style and it's more impressive
- 12:16and reality. As a kid of the choice, should I
- 12:19be an SY kid? I don't even care somebody
- 12:21Shabbat. Should I be an SY kid or should
- 12:23I be a good? Which one is cooler hands down.
- 12:26That's why kid is I think it will last.
- 12:28Then it all comes back together and we have this beauty.
- 12:31So the secondary of our class, which is the need to create this
- 12:34self and this reality is a very significant area our blessed
- 12:40then it exists. So the two points, one, it
- 12:43bothers us because we care about couple Chaman, 2, it bothers us
- 12:47because we care about the influence and on top of that we
- 12:50try to figure the way how to keep our certain barrier up to
- 12:53avoid patent influence asiding stop at this time.
