- 0:21Speaker 2: Then you can sing peelings, peelings, nothing more than peelings, and.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Now handle on the news. Ladies and gentlemen. Here's Bill Handle.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Hey, good morning, everybody. Bill Handle Here.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It is a Thursday morning, January twenty nine months on October,
- 0:48Speaker 2: Tom Homan just finished up. He is head well, he's
- 0:54Speaker 2: the immigration czar and he's in Minneapolis. Just had a
- 0:58Speaker 2: press conference because they removed Borbino, as you know yesterday,
- 1:05Speaker 2: because he was such an ass saying what a great
- 1:08Speaker 2: job as agents were doing and effectively killing people and terrorists,
- 1:14Speaker 2: which by the way, he never walked back domestic terrorists.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So you now have Tom Holman's coming in and said
- 1:21Speaker 2: the president is aware that something is wrong and I
- 1:23Speaker 2: am here to fix it. So that's pretty good news.
- 1:30Speaker 2: And he's in a suit. I've never seen him in
- 1:32Speaker 2: a suit. Okay, let me say hello to everybody.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Neil, good morning, good morning, Willie Wolf. And there we
- 1:39Speaker 3: are Kno, good.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Morning, Good morning, Willie Wolf.
- 1:43Speaker 2: How's the you know what, we're gonna stop Willie Wolf.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna put that right now. There's one person who
- 1:50Speaker 2: calls me Willy Wolf one and that is No, it's
- 1:55Speaker 2: gonna be one billy Billy Wolf. Yeah, well Billy is strawed.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I like that Billy Billy. So we're gonna we're gonna
- 2:03Speaker 2: go back to Bill because this thing is out of
- 2:05Speaker 2: control with two of you saying that it's savil Uh.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You know, one of my dearest friends has been calling
- 2:12Speaker 2: me that ever since I've known him.
- 2:13Speaker 3: It's almost twenty years. Civilius Jade Pavilious.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's Bill, it's Willy, it's Billy, it's William.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I was called Helium when I was a kid because
- 2:26Speaker 2: of my girth.
- 2:28Speaker 3: In any case, Oh, you just got yourself a new nickname,
- 2:31Speaker 3: Helium Helium.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yes, uh Kno, how's car doing? It's good.
- 2:36Speaker 4: I just put one thousand miles on it driving into
- 2:39Speaker 4: work today.
- 2:40Speaker 2: So he just like a week ago.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Well that's what happens.
- 2:44Speaker 2: He drives one hundred and four He drives one hundred
- 2:46Speaker 2: and forty miles a day just to work. Actually one
- 2:50Speaker 2: hundred and forty four. And I'm assuming you're the cost
- 2:56Speaker 2: of gas has dropped pretty dramatically.
- 2:58Speaker 3: It's pretty good.
- 2:59Speaker 4: I'm doing pretty well. Specifically, go to Costco just.
- 3:03Speaker 3: So you know.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I yeah, it's the gas is pretty cheap
- 3:06Speaker 2: because about half of it is water.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I get.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Oh, no, it's good. It's good gas. And where I
- 3:11Speaker 4: live it's like thirty forty cents cheaper than.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Now in La So yeah, I know it is quite
- 3:15Speaker 2: a bit cheaper. Why didn't you get a high Bred?
- 3:18Speaker 4: They are more expensive. So yeah, but if you're under
- 3:22Speaker 4: the I stayed under the thirty mark.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Okay, but if you're still we could have extended the Yeah,
- 3:29Speaker 2: it's a good guard's good.
- 3:31Speaker 3: We appreciative, you know.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Of course you are. But we could have gone for
- 3:34Speaker 2: the three hundred thousand dollars Bentley. It would it would
- 3:37Speaker 2: have taken us a little bit of time, but.
- 3:39Speaker 3: We would have done it.
- 3:41Speaker 2: No, I'm good, I love it. It's good, okay, And
- 3:43Speaker 2: and he's he is very appreciative. A friend of mine
- 3:45Speaker 2: called me, by the way, the guy who Anthony who
- 3:49Speaker 2: is owns Zelman's, and he said, oh my god, I
- 3:51Speaker 2: missed it. And I said, just send it to him.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Just send him directly. So I don't know if you
- 3:55Speaker 2: got the money or not. I have no idea. Uh
- 3:57Speaker 2: and Amy, good morning, Hi Bill, Hi Will Colesreiber.
- 4:02Speaker 3: There you are, Good morning, mister handle.
- 4:04Speaker 2: And and how are you. I'm doing great, Thank you
- 4:08Speaker 2: you are. And I'm doing great because the paperwork, the
- 4:11Speaker 2: stories that I read before I start the show didn't
- 4:16Speaker 2: come in, so I am in the middle of reading stories.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Is going to be a very interesting hour for the
- 4:21Speaker 2: next hour as I read during the breaks. Okay, I
- 4:24Speaker 2: can't think of anything else other than a lot of
- 4:27Speaker 2: other stuff that are going on.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You know.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Actually it's a relatively relatively quiet for a Thursday, because
- 4:36Speaker 2: we've had nothing but insane amounts of news that over
- 4:39Speaker 2: the last week, two weeks, three months, four months, and
- 4:43Speaker 2: so it's kind of neat. Today we can explore other
- 4:46Speaker 2: topics that we have not had a while to do.
- 4:49Speaker 2: And by the way, for those who just listen here
- 4:51Speaker 2: on the show, you can listen to any segment on
- 4:54Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio app, you know, for example eight o'clock hour
- 4:58Speaker 2: on Friday, our eight o'clock hour, or the food segment,
- 5:02Speaker 2: the food two segments that I do with Neil and
- 5:04Speaker 2: then ask handle anything that's at eight o'clock and a
- 5:07Speaker 2: lot of people have asked, well, what about that, and
- 5:10Speaker 2: they don't. They can't listen. Go to the the iHeartRadio
- 5:13Speaker 2: app and listen to any segment and we'll be fine. Okay,
- 5:17Speaker 2: let's do it, or you'll be fine. Let's do it.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Handle on the news with Amy Neil and me and
- 5:24Speaker 2: Lee story.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Let's shut down.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I'm telling yeah, it looks like there's going to be
- 5:30Speaker 2: another shutdown, partial governmental shutdown, as the Democrats this time
- 5:36Speaker 2: are saying. This has to do with how ICE is
- 5:40Speaker 2: dealing with illegal and legal migrants, and it's they're saying
- 5:46Speaker 2: it's out of control, and it is. However, the administration
- 5:51Speaker 2: is backpedaling big time right now, trying to straighten out
- 5:55Speaker 2: the problem. It's gone from yes, Preddy and Good were
- 6:03Speaker 2: domestic terrorists that were trying to kill and massacre ICE agents. Okay,
- 6:08Speaker 2: they stepped back from that and gone, oh, well maybe not,
- 6:10Speaker 2: and something is wrong. So this may straighten out. If
- 6:13Speaker 2: it's straight if they really made a considered effort over
- 6:16Speaker 2: the next couple of days, this may this may call
- 6:18Speaker 2: him down.
- 6:18Speaker 5: Yes, Amy, Well, we were just talking with Stephen Portnoy
- 6:22Speaker 5: with ABC just a couple of minutes ago, because that
- 6:25Speaker 5: was what we were going to be talking about, is
- 6:26Speaker 5: that this looming imminent shutdown, And he said, it's not
- 6:30Speaker 5: very exciting, but it looks like the sides are really
- 6:33Speaker 5: talking and that they really are getting closer to coming
- 6:37Speaker 5: to a deal to avoid a shutdown.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Which is great. Also, I was listening to part of
- 6:40Speaker 2: the show and you were doing toilet paper talk. Oh yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 2: and the fact that Kirkland toilet paper is probably what
- 6:48Speaker 2: I buy. I do not buy kirk Yeah, I tell you.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I buy the Sharman Ultra, this stuff with the wavy tears. Yeah, yeah,
- 6:56Speaker 2: I just on that too. I spend the money. It
- 6:59Speaker 2: actually is a better, better toilet paper. Now, the other
- 7:03Speaker 2: thing I do have to reduce the cost of toilet
- 7:05Speaker 2: paper is I remodeled my house when I bought it,
- 7:08Speaker 2: as you know, and I put in those bidets also
- 7:12Speaker 2: known as as blasters in the uh in my toilets.
- 7:17Speaker 5: We had several listeners who said that they too have
- 7:20Speaker 5: installed bedats.
- 7:21Speaker 2: No, no, they're called the ass blasters. Okay, let's get
- 7:24Speaker 2: it's right there. It's it's the name literally on the tank.
- 7:28Speaker 5: That's the brand name.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yes, the ass Blaster colon blow five thousand. Yes.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Okay, Let's let's continue on with the handle on the
- 7:41Speaker 2: news with Amy Neil and me.
- 7:43Speaker 3: And we just did the lead story. Okay, Amy tic
- 7:47Speaker 3: tick tick tick tick.
- 7:49Speaker 5: President Trump's his time is running out to negotiate a
- 7:52Speaker 5: deal on a nuclear program with Iran. The President says
- 7:57Speaker 5: a massive armada is moving quickly with great power, enthusiasm,
- 8:02Speaker 5: and purpose toward Iran. And then in response, Iran said
- 8:07Speaker 5: that the country's armed forces are ready, in their words,
- 8:11Speaker 5: with their fingers on the trigger to immediately and powerfully
- 8:14Speaker 5: respond to any aggression by land or yeah.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Let me tell you what, immediately respond and aggressively respond.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Military bases throughout the Mid East will be attacked by terrorists,
- 8:27Speaker 2: They'll be attacked by guerrilla forces, suicide bombers, and Israel
- 8:35Speaker 2: will be attacked.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That's their response.
- 8:37Speaker 2: In the meantime, they're saying they're coming to the table,
- 8:40Speaker 2: and they will because President Trump does not screw around.
- 8:47Speaker 2: There is though he says one thing and meets and
- 8:51Speaker 2: means another when it comes to foreign policy along these grounds,
- 8:55Speaker 2: and they're sweating bullets. They got attacked once, no issue,
- 9:00Speaker 2: which no other President, by the way, had the balls
- 9:02Speaker 2: to attack Iran and just sat back as Iran was
- 9:05Speaker 2: building its nuclear facilities. As Iran denies, denies, denies. Oh
- 9:09Speaker 2: my god, they're they're continuing on and we're only building
- 9:13Speaker 2: it for peace. Okay, fine, President has the Abraham Lincoln
- 9:17Speaker 2: Task Force out there in the Mid East, and we'll
- 9:20Speaker 2: see what Iran does. Frankly, I hope that Iran gets
- 9:24Speaker 2: the hell blasted out of it and we'll see what
- 9:27Speaker 2: the their regime does.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Wow. Capting violence over here.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Well, no, because I you know, I believe in what
- 9:37Speaker 2: Trump is doing on this one. I think he's absolutely right,
- 9:40Speaker 2: and I give him credit for doing what other presidents
- 9:43Speaker 2: did not have.
- 9:44Speaker 3: The nards to do. Because they're Arab.
- 9:49Speaker 2: They're not Arab. Iranians are not Arab. To Jews, they
- 9:53Speaker 2: are No, No, they're not. They're not Arab.
- 9:56Speaker 3: You don't like him because they're region.
- 9:59Speaker 2: No, No, I don't like him because I don't like
- 10:01Speaker 2: the chandeliers. It's always the wrong brand of chandeliers they
- 10:05Speaker 2: hang up in every room in their house.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I should have known that was coming, all right. The
- 10:09Speaker 3: man who was fatally shot by federal agents in Minneapolis
- 10:13Speaker 3: on Saturday some more informations coming out. This in the
- 10:17Speaker 3: form of a video. Pretty crazy if you haven't seen it.
- 10:21Speaker 3: So days, about eleven days or so before he was killed,
- 10:24Speaker 3: he had another run in with the agents. This video
- 10:29Speaker 3: shows him spitting and cursing at them, kicking a tail
- 10:34Speaker 3: light off I mean pretty good kick. Actually yeah, no,
- 10:39Speaker 3: he broke the tail light second the second kick took
- 10:43Speaker 3: right off the back of the suv. So this is
- 10:46Speaker 3: adding more to what we know about the thirty seven
- 10:49Speaker 3: year old nurse Alex pretty This was on January thirteenth.
- 10:57Speaker 3: He's wearing pretty much the same clothing. I think the
- 11:00Speaker 3: BBC did a face recognition says that ninety seven percent
- 11:04Speaker 3: sure was him. Yeah, it was him.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It was him, and he was where and he carried
- 11:08Speaker 2: that same weapon. Yeah it was in the wasting. But
- 11:11Speaker 2: here's what the agents did. The agents piled out of
- 11:13Speaker 2: the car, tackled him, and I think they let him go.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I was about twenty arrested him, which is by the
- 11:21Speaker 2: way appropriate for that was appropriate. The guy just bashed
- 11:25Speaker 2: in the car and he should have been arrested, but
- 11:29Speaker 2: the second time around, not shot, because he actually did
- 11:33Speaker 2: less to the agent's second time around.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Matter of fact, he did very little. Here's the deal though,
- 11:39Speaker 3: that if there was at least local law enforcement keeping it,
- 11:44Speaker 3: that is not a peaceful protest. I'm sorry, it's not
- 11:47Speaker 3: a peaceful protest. And anybody that complains about January sixth,
- 11:52Speaker 3: which I am one of them, has to consistently say
- 11:55Speaker 3: this is problematic as well. And if local law enforcement
- 11:58Speaker 3: or somebody would have arrested him that day, he'd probably
- 12:01Speaker 3: be alive today.
- 12:02Speaker 2: That's correct, But they can't arrest the people who are protesting.
- 12:08Speaker 2: What did he there?
- 12:09Speaker 3: What do you think that is protesting?
- 12:10Speaker 2: Now?
- 12:11Speaker 3: Am I going to call him a terrorist?
- 12:12Speaker 2: No?
- 12:12Speaker 3: But terrorism involves using violence. Yes, that's not kicking.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Kicking in the tailllightes of an ice vehicle is not terrorism.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Terrorism a little deeper than that. And now with that, Michael,
- 12:27Speaker 2: now I'm going to cut you off so you can't respond,
- 12:31Speaker 2: which I enjoy doing, and we're going to go to Amy.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Time to leave.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Two agents who shot a man in Minneapolis we were
- 12:39Speaker 5: talking about, Alex pretty have been put on administrative leave.
- 12:43Speaker 5: They've been that way since Saturday. DHS says that is
- 12:47Speaker 5: standard protocol when agents are involved in fatal shootings, and
- 12:51Speaker 5: comes as President Trump suggested he would de escalate his
- 12:54Speaker 5: immigration enforcement crackdown, which is why I sent Tom Hollman there.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Yeah, now coming to the conclusion and the reality that
- 13:04Speaker 2: maybe Ice overreacted just a little bit. So far, the
- 13:09Speaker 2: only thing that the President has said in lieu of
- 13:12Speaker 2: what Christy Noams said, who's completely out of her mind,
- 13:17Speaker 2: and or Vino, who's completely out of his mind, is that, yes,
- 13:22Speaker 2: we have to de escalate a little bit. And Holman
- 13:25Speaker 2: this morning said the president wants to he wants to
- 13:31Speaker 2: bring down the temperature.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Are they out of their mind or following orders?
- 13:37Speaker 2: I don't think they're following orders. I think the President
- 13:39Speaker 2: is a big picture guy. He goes you handle it,
- 13:43Speaker 2: and where his attention is is international, it's not domestic.
- 13:47Speaker 2: And he just says, you know, whatever goes goes as
- 13:50Speaker 2: long as and here's what I think. That's what he says. Now,
- 13:54Speaker 2: what I think is as long as you tell everybody
- 13:57Speaker 2: how wonderful I am, that's all I care about. You know,
- 14:01Speaker 2: his cabinet meetings go for hours and all they do
- 14:03Speaker 2: is is go around the circle and under the leadership
- 14:06Speaker 2: of our great president, mister President, we are so lucky
- 14:09Speaker 2: to have you Lindsey Graham. We have the greatest president
- 14:12Speaker 2: in the history of the United States. There's a lot
- 14:14Speaker 2: of that going on.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Didn't he make a comment the other day about the
- 14:18Speaker 3: reason why he closes his eyes during cabinet meetings they're
- 14:22Speaker 3: boring and people aren't smarter.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't think you said people aren't smart. He
- 14:26Speaker 5: said that the meetings are boring and he just kind
- 14:29Speaker 5: of closes his eyes, like, oh, he's falling asleep in meetings?
- 14:34Speaker 2: Does does Does it seem credible and realistic that President
- 14:39Speaker 2: Trump is tired of being told that he is the
- 14:41Speaker 2: greatest human being that ever lived.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I don't know, mister Handel, who's the best radio.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I don't know if he ever tires of that.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Okay, moving on, Powell hints at an extended pause on
- 14:55Speaker 3: rate cuts, but you know, didn't didn't point out the
- 14:59Speaker 3: obvio yes, which is all the attacks that Trump has
- 15:03Speaker 3: coming his way. They kept the benchmark lending rate at
- 15:06Speaker 3: a range of three point five to three point seventy five,
- 15:11Speaker 3: which is pretty good.
- 15:13Speaker 2: What's in line of what the inflation is doing is
- 15:17Speaker 2: I've said, the Fed walks a very fine line between
- 15:21Speaker 2: inflation and deflation. Uh, and where the economy is going.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And what I think this makes this story interesting is,
- 15:29Speaker 2: of course it pissed off the president. He hates Powell
- 15:32Speaker 2: because Pale isn't doing what the president wants. He is
- 15:35Speaker 2: putting on people who for example, there'll be a new
- 15:39Speaker 2: chair and it'll be a Trump ally.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Where are we going.
- 15:42Speaker 2: We're going to the point where the FED will be
- 15:45Speaker 2: under the control, under the thumb of the president. There
- 15:49Speaker 2: will be no independent FED right now. But guess guess
- 15:54Speaker 2: what the when the new new guy comes in May first,
- 15:59Speaker 2: and who choose is the new fad the president and
- 16:03Speaker 2: it's an independent agency now it will not be It
- 16:06Speaker 2: will be the president, like the Department of Justice, like
- 16:09Speaker 2: the FBI, which used to be independent quasi independent, which
- 16:13Speaker 2: that doesn't exist anymore. And now it will be Trump
- 16:16Speaker 2: deciding what the interest rates will be. And it's always
- 16:20Speaker 2: going to be low because he wants to spur the economy.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And that's what you do. You lower it so it'll
- 16:26Speaker 2: go down to zero again. You watch, it'll go negative
- 16:30Speaker 2: where banks will actually be paid to loan you money.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Do you think he gets Trump gets so pissed off
- 16:36Speaker 3: when Powell holds his ground, he goes kill another protester.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Someone do something, bring me joy off of their heads.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he's not very happy, all right.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Going back to twenty twenty, the FBI has served a
- 16:50Speaker 5: search warrant at an elections office in Fulton County, Georgia,
- 16:55Speaker 5: the Justice Department apparently trying to seize election records and
- 16:59Speaker 5: search for that edged voter fraud in the county, including
- 17:02Speaker 5: in Atlanta, which has long been the centerpiece of President
- 17:06Speaker 5: Trump's claims that the twenty twenty election was stolen from him.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Great, I mean, give me a break. Does he ever
- 17:12Speaker 2: leave this alone? No fixed election? First of all, if
- 17:16Speaker 2: it's true that fraud occurred in Georgia, it doesn't change
- 17:20Speaker 2: the electoral college count at all. Biden still becomes president
- 17:24Speaker 2: second Georgia. In Fulton County, they recounted the vote and
- 17:30Speaker 2: then they counted it again, hand counted every ballot, which
- 17:36Speaker 2: took weeks and weeks, and it all came out the same.
- 17:39Speaker 2: But Trump's not leaving it alone. He's going to get
- 17:43Speaker 2: his He's going to get his pound of flesh.
- 17:45Speaker 3: But why at this point if you're back in because.
- 17:48Speaker 2: His whole mantra, they stole the election, They stole the election.
- 17:51Speaker 2: They stole the election. I told you the first time
- 17:53Speaker 2: I met I met Pete Rose. He used to be
- 17:58Speaker 2: at the restaurant, you know and Neil across the street
- 18:00Speaker 2: from a premier radio sicily restaurant and yeah, great restaurant,
- 18:05Speaker 2: and it was he'd hang out there two three times
- 18:07Speaker 2: a week because he lives in Sherman Oaks. And the
- 18:09Speaker 2: first time I met him, I was introduced to him Bill.
- 18:13Speaker 2: This is Pete, Pete, this is Bill. Before he said hello,
- 18:17Speaker 2: he looked at me and he said, I was robbed.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I should be in the Hall of Fame. Those were
- 18:21Speaker 2: his first words. And so trump first words. Election was rigged.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Election was rigged.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I just heard him say it this week exactly.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Okay, that's gonna be on his deathbed instead of Rosebud.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Election was ribbed, rigged. Okay. Moving on US forces, is
- 18:46Speaker 3: this saber rattling or is this locking and loading. We're
- 18:49Speaker 3: gonna have to wait and find out. But US Forces
- 18:51Speaker 3: are conducting a multi day air exercise there in the
- 18:54Speaker 3: Middle East Washington. Obviously, Trump is saying, listen, we got
- 19:00Speaker 3: big guns, we got ships, we got everything we need.
- 19:04Speaker 3: We've got major presence now in your region. And these
- 19:07Speaker 3: are all tensions with Iran. As Bill said earlier, this
- 19:11Speaker 3: is one of those things that you agree they need
- 19:14Speaker 3: to be stopped and make sure that they don't have act.
- 19:16Speaker 2: And they will be And to your point, yes, he is.
- 19:20Speaker 2: He is sabering the rattle. I mean he is rattling
- 19:22Speaker 2: the saber just as it goes into Iran's gut. Now,
- 19:27Speaker 2: as far as the negotiating position, and that's the way
- 19:31Speaker 2: he operates, Hey, I will negotiate with you as long
- 19:36Speaker 2: as or I will. Yeah, I will negotiate with you
- 19:38Speaker 2: as long as you know. If it doesn't pan out,
- 19:40Speaker 2: I'm going to destroy you.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Coming to the table. There's on the trigger. What kind
- 19:46Speaker 3: of threat is he run to us that way?
- 19:50Speaker 2: Okay, First of all attacks on Israel, Okay, that's simple.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Then missiles going, it's all gonna be missiles. Then you
- 19:56Speaker 2: have suicide bombers and American bases, which there are many
- 19:59Speaker 2: in the Middle East, and that's about it. There will
- 20:02Speaker 2: not be there will not be boots on the ground.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I don't think this President, and I don't know if
- 20:06Speaker 2: you need to, because air power is so significant. The
- 20:10Speaker 2: United States has so much air power that the B
- 20:12Speaker 2: two bombers, for example, the stealth bombers that you can't
- 20:15Speaker 2: even see on radar systems, drones in huge numbers, and
- 20:23Speaker 2: Israel is going to get those, and American bases are
- 20:25Speaker 2: going to get those. But Iran is going to be attacked.
- 20:29Speaker 2: The United States won't be other than what we have overseas.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And I think also you have Europe is going to
- 20:36Speaker 2: be attacked suicide bombers and maybe drones. I don't know
- 20:40Speaker 2: if if they're yeah, their missiles go to Europe, but
- 20:44Speaker 2: that's what that's what we're going to see.
- 20:47Speaker 5: Speaking of attacks, elon Omar was attacked with apple cider vinegar.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Weird story.
- 20:55Speaker 5: The guy lun a man lunged represented elon Omar while
- 21:00Speaker 5: she was holding a town hall meeting. We told you
- 21:01Speaker 5: about this yesterday. Well, they've done forensic investigations into what
- 21:05Speaker 5: it was that the guy sprayed on Omar and it
- 21:08Speaker 5: turns out it was likely apple cider vinegar.
- 21:11Speaker 2: They tackled him, arrested him yep, And they also arrested
- 21:14Speaker 2: two guys at the door, one holding ahead of lettuce
- 21:17Speaker 2: and the other one holding some olive oil.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I was trying to toss or sellid. What is wrong
- 21:26Speaker 3: with people these Whether you agree with them or not,
- 21:29Speaker 3: they're they're in office. You it's bizarre, bizarre, great ingredient though,
- 21:37Speaker 3: all right. Judge in Minnesota says ICE has violated nearly
- 21:41Speaker 3: one hundred court orders. So, just going over all the
- 21:47Speaker 3: details in the corridorders stemming from its aggressive crackdown in
- 21:53Speaker 3: the state, disobeying more than judicial directives in January alone,
- 21:59Speaker 3: some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence, So
- 22:03Speaker 3: saying just in January, they've jumped through more of these
- 22:12Speaker 3: violations than they have in the entire existence of the organization.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Yeah, any doubt. I am above the law. The law,
- 22:21Speaker 2: I am the constitution. The Constitution is me, and I'm
- 22:24Speaker 2: not going to have anybody tell me differently. Hmm, okay,
- 22:29Speaker 2: fair enough.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Well.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Elon Musk is turning his attention from Tesla to robots,
- 22:37Speaker 5: at least in California. He is ending production of the
- 22:43Speaker 5: Model S and the Model X, which are among the
- 22:46Speaker 5: company's most expensive models. He made that announcement during an
- 22:50Speaker 5: earnings call yesterday and said the company instead is going
- 22:54Speaker 5: to use that factory in California to build humanoid robots instead.
- 23:01Speaker 2: As much as I and probably you and most people
- 23:05Speaker 2: dislike Musk One of the things that you have to
- 23:08Speaker 2: give him credit for is being just a complete visionary.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I mean, electric cars were around before he started with
- 23:16Speaker 2: the Tesla's. What he did is he created a practical
- 23:21Speaker 2: approach to electric cars.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Nobody ever did that.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Spacecraft space travel was of course, already in the works.
- 23:29Speaker 2: He came in and created space x, a much more
- 23:34Speaker 2: efficient way of going into space, where he has now
- 23:38Speaker 2: eighty percent of the world market of spacecraft. He's going
- 23:41Speaker 2: to do the same thing with robots. Robots are around.
- 23:44Speaker 2: We know that the Japanese I have them, the Chinese
- 23:47Speaker 2: have them, We certainly have them. I think what he
- 23:49Speaker 2: is going to do is he is going to bring
- 23:52Speaker 2: down the cost and he is going to produce these
- 23:56Speaker 2: robots for mass consumption. Where you and I were will
- 24:00Speaker 2: be using humanoid robots. I mean, I think he's gonna
- 24:04Speaker 2: pull it off. He already has twice.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and there's some great stuff out there, and
- 24:09Speaker 3: they're going to be affordable. They're going to be like
- 24:11Speaker 3: buying a car that will be must twenty. Musk will
- 24:16Speaker 3: be the one that does that. You watch I want
- 24:18Speaker 3: a robot, all right, to make me Hawaiian slight, Hawaiian
- 24:24Speaker 3: roll sliders right now, Actually, renting is now cheaper than
- 24:28Speaker 3: buying a home in almost every major city in the US.
- 24:33Speaker 3: According to this study, homeowners pay about thirty seven percent
- 24:37Speaker 3: more per month than renters. So monthly mortgage payments average
- 24:43Speaker 3: around roughly five hundred and fifty dollars more than rent,
- 24:49Speaker 3: meaning that the homeowners spend around sixty five hundred dollars
- 24:53Speaker 3: more per year. Now it's even more. That gap gets
- 24:57Speaker 3: bigger here in you know, California, right and also New
- 25:02Speaker 3: York you're looking at probably you know, fifteen hundred dollars
- 25:06Speaker 3: more per month instead of five point fifty.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Yeah, if you look at the gap that's widening, Rent
- 25:12Speaker 2: is prohibitively, punitively expensive. Mortgage payments are intergalactically.
- 25:20Speaker 3: It's more expensive. But you know what, the thing that
- 25:22Speaker 3: was taught to me that changed my outlook and I
- 25:25Speaker 3: know you still have to have the money is you
- 25:27Speaker 3: have two choices in life. That is to pay someone
- 25:30Speaker 3: else's mortgage or your own. That's correct, and that's it.
- 25:34Speaker 3: You're going to rent and somebody else is going to
- 25:36Speaker 3: get the equity, or you're going to pay your mortgage.
- 25:39Speaker 2: But that's assuming equity is going to rise rise rise,
- 25:42Speaker 2: and there are times when equity drops substantially. I mean,
- 25:45Speaker 2: we've been around a few times in the seventies. During
- 25:47Speaker 2: the Great Recession, it dropped. I mean.
- 25:52Speaker 3: If there is nothing that I own that has gone
- 25:55Speaker 3: up more than my home.
- 25:56Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, Bill's going to be extra said today Costco. Costco,
- 26:06Speaker 5: there's a class action lawsuit being filed because of its
- 26:10Speaker 5: retissellary chicken. Why because it says that that four ninety
- 26:16Speaker 5: nine chicken that we all love so much says on
- 26:21Speaker 5: the label no preservatives. But apparently two shoppers in California
- 26:25Speaker 5: say customers have been misled because there is sodium phosphate
- 26:30Speaker 5: and kara ginen in it, and apparently that's a preservative.
- 26:35Speaker 5: It's on the ingredient list.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Now, this is a proposed class action. If it is
- 26:40Speaker 2: certified as a class action, because Cord has to certify it,
- 26:44Speaker 2: that means everybody who has bought a chicken from Costco
- 26:48Speaker 2: over the last X number of year, statute wise, is
- 26:52Speaker 2: going to get some kind of refund. Some lawyer is
- 26:53Speaker 2: going to get very very wealthy on this one.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Hey, people aren't going to get wealthy off of this one.
- 26:58Speaker 5: They'll end up with five bucks.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, not even I'll end up with two dollars off
- 27:01Speaker 2: of chicken. And by the way, when you said I
- 27:03Speaker 2: would be upset about this, bottom line, the more preservatives
- 27:07Speaker 2: that are used in meat, the better it tastes.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Your body is not going to decompose. That's conservative so much.
- 27:15Speaker 2: As far as I'm concerned. You can use formaldehyde and
- 27:17Speaker 2: that's fine with me.
- 27:19Speaker 3: But sodium itself is a preservative.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and of course it is, but that's natural it is.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I don't get it. I don't get it. And Costco
- 27:26Speaker 2: chickens are phenomenal and they're five bucks and they've been
- 27:30Speaker 2: five bucks since Costco opened up. It's the biggest loss
- 27:34Speaker 2: leader and the huge chickens, and they're delicious.
- 27:38Speaker 5: I think it's interesting that this says studies have shown
- 27:41Speaker 5: excessive sodium phosphate intake leads to kidney strain and cardiovascular risks.
- 27:46Speaker 5: What's excessive? Is it the little minuscule amount it's in
- 27:50Speaker 5: your Costco chicken or is it taking a cup of it?
- 27:54Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 27:55Speaker 2: And kidney problems, I mean, who cares about kidney problems? Oh?
- 27:59Speaker 2: Neil O'Neil has a little experience with kidney problems, so
- 28:02Speaker 2: I get it Hello, Hello.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Hollywood Burbank Airport responds after the NTSB says if you
- 28:10Speaker 3: fly there, you're gonna die probably soon. That talk about
- 28:14Speaker 3: being picked on this one little airport, They're like, yeah,
- 28:17Speaker 3: this one's probably going to have a bunch of deaths.
- 28:19Speaker 3: So Hollywood Burbank Airport officials did come out and responded
- 28:24Speaker 3: just a day after the NTSB came out and suggested
- 28:28Speaker 3: the airport could be the next to experience one of
- 28:30Speaker 3: those crazy mid air collisions.
- 28:34Speaker 2: And they said, the airport safety is there? What bill
- 28:37Speaker 2: top priority? We believe in the safety of our passengers
- 28:44Speaker 2: as they're falling out of the sky.
- 28:48Speaker 3: I want someone to come out and say, you know what,
- 28:50Speaker 3: safety and security, there's not that deal with this top five.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Yeah, let's let's get real. Yeah. KFI am six you've
