SPEAKER_00: That's the software I'm using on my phone that I'm going to quote the markets to you right now.
• 1:38
  SPEAKER_00: So let's do that.

SPEAKER_00: Big thanks to Plus500 and T4 software for sponsoring the show.

SPEAKER_00: Let's move over to outside markets.
• 2:01
SPEAKER_00: SP 500 down eight, NASDAQ down 60, and things are moving over there.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_00: There was a lot of green on the screen this morning.
• 2:09
SPEAKER_00: At one point when I woke up this morning, everything was up.
• 2:12
  SPEAKER_00: Stocks, gold, silver.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_00: There was a lot of green on the screen, but now we're starting to roll over.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_00: So you're seeing gold roll over, stocks roll over.
• 2:20
SPEAKER_00: Big move last week in metals.
• 2:22
SPEAKER_00: Outside markets are on fire.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_00: Everyone's trying to figure out what we're going to do with this Iran war.
• 2:28
SPEAKER_00: And your guess is as good as mine.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_00: Let's get in the show and talk about cattle.
• 2:31
SPEAKER_00: Followed a week again last week in cattle.
• 2:33
SPEAKER_00: Speaking of cattle, I just got a text from our very own Jed Sidwell.
• 2:37
SPEAKER_00: He just recorded Mike Sands before the bell.
• 2:40
SPEAKER_00: That is up and getting ready to go out to paid subscribers.
• 2:44
SPEAKER_00: How do you become a paid subscriber?
• 2:46
  SPEAKER_00: $25 a month,$250 annually.
• 2:48
SPEAKER_00: Thank you to all the new subscribers last few weeks.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_00: Of course, as we've mentioned several times, Jim Weismeyer, Weesmeyer's Perspectives will be turning into a paid service, but no need to panic.
• 2:59
  SPEAKER_00: He's not charging much.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_00: Jim is going to be speaking a little less out in public and putting out a little lot more content.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_00: So Weissmeyer's Perspectives will be paid for service on the AgBull website.
• 3:11
SPEAKER_00: How do you get a hold of us?
• 3:12
SPEAKER_00: We go to the AgBull website and say, hey, I want to make sure I'm getting Jim's free newsletter because everyone who signed up for Jim's newsletter will be sent a coupon, a discount code of half off what he's going to be charging the normal world.
• 3:25
SPEAKER_00: All right, back to show.
• 3:26
  SPEAKER_00: Back to cattle.
• 3:27
  SPEAKER_00: We thanked our sponsors.
• 3:28
  SPEAKER_00: We promoted ourselves.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_00: Let's promote the beef industry.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_00: Hassett came out over the weekend.
• 3:34
SPEAKER_00: How he has any plan with cattle, I have no idea.
• 3:37
SPEAKER_00: But when you get higher representatives of the Trump administration talking about cattle, you gotta kind of shake your head.
• 3:43
  SPEAKER_00: This guy right here.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_00: Kevin Hassett was commenting about cattle this weekend.
• 3:47
SPEAKER_00: Your guess is good as mine.
• 3:49
  SPEAKER_00: He's got a good smile.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_00: We call him smiley here on the show, but I don't know what the hell he knows about cattle.
• 3:54
SPEAKER_00: Let's see how the cattle markets react when we open up.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_00: But uh live cattle were up a little bit, feeders were up three and a half, four dollars, and hogs up a little bit.
• 4:01
SPEAKER_00: Hogs have had a bad, bad run lately.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_00: Let's move to weather here.
• 4:07
  SPEAKER_00: Big thanks to Mr.
• 4:08
  SPEAKER_00: Craig Solberg.
• 4:09
SPEAKER_00: Craig's our internal weatherman at Nesvik, and he's awesome.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_00: Where I live in uh northwest Indiana, that's that real dark red-pink stuff up there up by Lake Michigan.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_00: Whew! As Jed says, we had like that for scump type of rain.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: It was coming down all types of ways last night.
• 4:27
SPEAKER_00: Knocked my power out, knocked my internet out.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_00: I don't know what the heck happened, but lots of moisture here.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_00: I can shut the sprinkler sprinkler system off.
• 4:35
  SPEAKER_00: But it's the West.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_00: It's it's Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, continually missing these rains and continually having uh hot temps.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_00: So uh East versus West, big bad USDA.
• 4:51
  SPEAKER_00: Watch the acres.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_00: Maybe that's not what the surprise will be.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_00: But all the experts, there's so many experts, I'm not sure why they still have day jobs, but the experts say watch the acres.
• 5:04
SPEAKER_00: We may add a few corn acres.
• 5:05
  SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
• 5:06
SPEAKER_00: The seed companies know that.
• 5:07
SPEAKER_00: They sold you the damn seed.
• 5:09
SPEAKER_00: You, the farmer, you planned the corn.
• 5:11
  SPEAKER_00: John Deere knows it.
• 5:12
  SPEAKER_00: Someone knows this information.
• 5:13
SPEAKER_00: Why we have to wait for the USDA to tell us is beyond me, and that you guys are filling out surveys that were sent to you in the mail and then sent back in the mail is absolutely ridiculous.
• 5:23
  SPEAKER_00: Anyway, that's what we're doing.
• 5:25
SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, stick to the program.
• 5:28
SPEAKER_00: But the USDA, this one could rock the market.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_00: We're getting a little chance here to uh sell and protect some grain before the report.
• 5:34
SPEAKER_00: We'll see what people do.
• 5:35
SPEAKER_00: Again, haves and have nots here with the weather.
• 5:37
SPEAKER_00: All right, towards the end of the show, economic calendar, export inspections, 10 a.m.
• 5:43
  SPEAKER_00: crop progress 3.
• 5:45
SPEAKER_00: Keep an eye on that crop progress, see if there's any big changes in those states out west.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_00: I believe Davis this afternoon has my friend uh Randy Martinson.
• 5:55
SPEAKER_00: Randy Martinson's a broker, a well-known name up in the Dakotas, a good friend of mine, good friend of the show.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_00: Randy Martinson will be on AgSquawk with host Davis Michelson.
• 6:05
SPEAKER_00: Trying to see if we have any other slides.
• 6:07
  SPEAKER_00: That's it.

• 6:22

• 6:24
SPEAKER_00: And of course, this is getting done later because I'm just not as fast as Jed.
