- 1:12Speaker 1: Podcast called twenty five Wists Stuck in Football and they
- 1:16Speaker 1: are room whist So, yeah, it's too bad, but what
- 1:19Speaker 1: did you expect.
- 1:20Speaker 3: It's a podcast called twenty five.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Whistles Wine Wine. In this episode, you'll get a conspiracy
- 1:27Speaker 1: theory and a lot of dumb opinions on football games.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Blow the whistle, Eddie. Eddie has a broken arm, which
- 1:35Speaker 1: was addressed in the Bybone Show today, and we'll get
- 1:38Speaker 1: to a conspiracy theory about that in a second. There
- 1:40Speaker 1: are lots of theory about there's a lot of theories
- 1:42Speaker 1: about your arm. I do want to talk first about
- 1:45Speaker 1: cold weather football, where there's a difference in what looks
- 1:49Speaker 1: miserable to play in and what looks fun to play in.
- 1:51Speaker 1: If there's a lot of snow, it looks fun, right.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah. If there's a lot of snow and it's
- 1:56Speaker 1: like two degrees, it's like yeah, but it's snow. It's
- 1:59Speaker 1: amazing if there's like ice and like a little bit
- 2:03Speaker 1: of snow. But you see them breathing through their helmets,
- 2:05Speaker 1: looks freaking awful. Yeah, painful.
- 2:07Speaker 4: More for the coaches, I feel like the players they
- 2:10Speaker 4: get to move around a little bit, but every time
- 2:12Speaker 4: they show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: The head coach was just there in a jacket and
- 2:15Speaker 1: has no heater around them. That looks miserable. See, I
- 2:18Speaker 1: would disagree, because you got to catch the ball, which hurts.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You have to hit the ground which hurts. Yeah. Like
- 2:25Speaker 1: and having played a decent amount of again not NFL,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but cold weather high school football games, it sucks. It
- 2:31Speaker 1: sucks when it's cold. And this isn't even in Buffalo,
- 2:34Speaker 1: New York. This isn't even in Philadelphia. It sucks so bad,
- 2:38Speaker 1: And I would just rather it's snow because at least
- 2:42Speaker 1: maybe your brain's like it's a good smith. Oh God,
- 2:45Speaker 1: maybe your brain because it looked miserable the first part
- 2:49Speaker 1: of that game, if just the Rams Eagles game, because
- 2:54Speaker 1: at the end of that game it started to snow
- 2:57Speaker 1: a bit. Then it was like Christmas, yay, So it
- 3:00Speaker 1: was just like cold and winter and miserable. The whole game,
- 3:03Speaker 1: and it felt terrible for them. It was a great game.
- 3:06Speaker 1: We had great games. The only game that wasn't like
- 3:09Speaker 1: a great game but was still fun was the Commander's
- 3:11Speaker 1: winning shout out, Eddie. I think you predicted that. Yeah,
- 3:13Speaker 1: pretty crazy, dude, But that game looked so cold in Philly,
- 3:17Speaker 1: the Rams and Eagles played and it just looked like
- 3:21Speaker 1: every hit hurt extra. It was impossible to catch the ball,
- 3:25Speaker 1: and at the end when it did start to snow,
- 3:27Speaker 1: they definitely had to switch up how they played offense.
- 3:29Speaker 1: They couldn't throw the ball. Really. Stafford did an okay job.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It was only whenever he started to run no huddle
- 3:33Speaker 1: that they could move the ball. Great game, it was awesome.
- 3:36Speaker 3: And then watching the guys around the route, you could
- 3:38Speaker 3: see they took like five steps just to be able
- 3:40Speaker 3: to stop and then go.
- 3:41Speaker 1: And like the defensive backs, they couldn't really plant. Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 1: But yeah, so Eagles win that, that's cool. I was
- 3:49Speaker 1: really rooting for the Rams. Eagles are probably a better
- 3:53Speaker 1: team if they make the Super Bowl. Like it's probably
- 3:57Speaker 1: a little but the story for La Just imagine if
- 3:59Speaker 1: they could have wont to make to the super Bowl
- 4:00Speaker 1: with the Fires.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Like if the.
- 4:02Speaker 1: NFL was fixed, I think the story, I think the
- 4:05Speaker 1: LA would have won the game. Like, if it was fixed,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I think LA would have won the game. And it's
- 4:09Speaker 1: not because it was close enough. They could have fixed it.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Now it it's like a thirty point lead. You can't
- 4:14Speaker 1: fix those games. I think if it was fixable and
- 4:20Speaker 1: the NFL wanted to do that, which I don't think
- 4:21Speaker 1: they do, they would have fixed that game. For that
- 4:24Speaker 1: wonderful story of here's Los Angeles representing its people. It
- 4:28Speaker 1: was very much Drew Brees Katrina and the Katrina super Bowl.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's very much that Patriots Patriots. But you know, but
- 4:36Speaker 1: that's just a name. Eleven happened in New York City.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I think, like come together community, that story, that'd have
- 4:47Speaker 3: been the Giant, it would have been the Giants.
- 4:48Speaker 1: It'd have been the Giants. You can't have that just
- 4:50Speaker 1: because your names of Patriots and you get a.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Guy nothing more patriot than America named Patriot.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Now, I'm not gonna go that one.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I think they found that because they got there, But
- 5:02Speaker 1: the real story would have been the Giants or the Jets,
- 5:06Speaker 1: a New York team. I don't think the Jets made
- 5:08Speaker 1: the playoffs that you're up. They did. They didn't move
- 5:10Speaker 1: very far, but being able to wear the NYPD you know,
- 5:15Speaker 1: n y.
- 5:15Speaker 5: FD has that world series with the Yankees and the Diamondbacks.
- 5:18Speaker 5: I feel like was like the nine to eleven.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You know with the Patriots. I'm just saying, no, you're
- 5:23Speaker 1: saying you're a Patriots fan. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that too.
- 5:25Speaker 1: That's part of it for sure.
- 5:26Speaker 3: But I mean I think Patriots America patriot, patriotic.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I mean they are read white and blue exactly, thank you.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It was a great junior varsity version of that.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I'll not the main I'll take.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Eagles won that game. That was good. Bill's and Ravens
- 5:42Speaker 1: that game looked great. Game coldest crap too. And what
- 5:46Speaker 1: I wanted to actually talk about in this game is
- 5:49Speaker 1: Eddie wanting to just blame it on a player.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Yeah, like I think the whole game. Oh man, it's
- 5:55Speaker 4: hard to do that. It really is, like I'm not
- 5:57Speaker 4: the time person to scream at the TV and blame
- 5:59Speaker 4: it on player. But Mark Andrews completely ruined that game. Dang,
- 6:03Speaker 4: that's me, bro, and not that he probably knows it.
- 6:07Speaker 4: And I'm not saying anything that like you know, it's like, what,
- 6:09Speaker 4: what a surprise? He probably knows it. He turned the
- 6:12Speaker 4: ball over at a very pivotal time and then the
- 6:15Speaker 4: two point conversion that could have tied the game up.
- 6:17Speaker 1: It was a dime the internet, it wasn't a dime.
- 6:20Speaker 1: First of all, it wasn't a dime. No, it wasn't
- 6:22Speaker 1: a dime. It was he should have caught it. But
- 6:23Speaker 1: it wasn't a dime, and he was like falling backward.
- 6:25Speaker 1: But but Lamar threw a pick. Lamar fumbled the ball
- 6:28Speaker 1: to bad bad Yeah. So just snowy, snowy. Same thing
- 6:34Speaker 1: with Andrews.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 6:37Speaker 4: I just felt like, gosh, those two moments in Andrews,
- 6:41Speaker 4: like what he did is what turned that game around.
- 6:44Speaker 1: What sucked was that there are two two of their
- 6:49Speaker 1: three most consistent players did not play well. Yeah, Lamar
- 6:54Speaker 1: Jackson threw a bad interception, yeah, and then a bad
- 6:57Speaker 1: fumble too in midfield. And so as a bad first
- 7:01Speaker 1: half for Lamar, imagine that they were to score those
- 7:03Speaker 1: they wouldn't even have to worry about that at the end. Yes,
- 7:05Speaker 1: were they critical that fumble though, I was just competed
- 7:09Speaker 1: Lamar's I would take those two, the Lamar fumble in
- 7:11Speaker 1: the market that they're even that way, So not that
- 7:13Speaker 1: the though the two point conversion was tough, I'm not
- 7:17Speaker 1: gonna lie, but you can't pin that on him as
- 7:19Speaker 1: the guy that lost the game. How about not giving
- 7:22Speaker 1: the ball to Derrick Henry on both two point both
- 7:26Speaker 1: two point conversions.
- 7:27Speaker 3: And what happened on the first one.
- 7:30Speaker 1: They try to throw it.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I know that they didn't get it. I was just
- 7:35Speaker 3: trying to think of what happened. I remember the second
- 7:37Speaker 3: one obviously with Mark Andrews, but I can't remember. I
- 7:39Speaker 3: know that they didn't get it. Yeah, I think they
- 7:41Speaker 3: tried to, Like they definitely didn't try to throw it.
- 7:43Speaker 3: So there are a lot of things you could have,
- 7:45Speaker 3: should have would have.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm never really a believer in one play causing
- 7:49Speaker 1: an entire game, but I can go four plays, those
- 7:51Speaker 1: two by Lamar and those two by Mark Andrews.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Kay, yeah that's fair enough. But it's just tough, man.
- 7:57Speaker 3: But the same thing with the Texans, Like it's these
- 7:59Speaker 3: plays that lose you game.
- 8:00Speaker 1: James, That Mark Andrews one was tough though, because it
- 8:02Speaker 1: was just the last play, but it wasn't a dime and.
- 8:05Speaker 5: There was also ninety seconds left, so the Bills could yeah,
- 8:08Speaker 5: mostly time.
- 8:10Speaker 1: There was a minute twenty eight left and two timeouts,
- 8:12Speaker 1: Like people are forgetting about that. Yeah, with a minute
- 8:15Speaker 1: twenty get there and two timeouts left. Imagine that's the case.
- 8:18Speaker 1: And they said, well, here's one hundred dollars. Do you
- 8:21Speaker 1: bet with a minute twenty eight and two timeouts that
- 8:24Speaker 1: the Bills will kick a field goal at least and
- 8:26Speaker 1: win the game? Everybody bets that. The answer is yes, yes.
- 8:30Speaker 1: So it was in his hands, I know. And I
- 8:33Speaker 1: don't even like Mark market He's fine. I don't dislike him,
- 8:36Speaker 1: but he's like an Oklahoma guy. I was just don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: really have anything like love to Oklahoma.
- 8:39Speaker 3: But he is like a pivotal part of that franchise
- 8:41Speaker 3: the last decade. Yes, yeah, super consistent. It's not like
- 8:44Speaker 3: some backup tight end and it's been and nobody kind
- 8:47Speaker 3: of cast around guy. So I feel bad for him.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I feel bad for him too, more than bad. Adam, No,
- 8:51Speaker 1: you wanted to blame him. Mark Andrews lost the whole game.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Because now we call that the Mark Andrews game, right.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It'll forever go down as that which Lamar is what
- 9:02Speaker 1: three and five in the playoffs. I believe it's his record.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I don't think that he gets the pass though, because again,
- 9:09Speaker 1: has does he not throw that interception that he just chunked?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Does he not fumble at midfield? They possibly are not
- 9:14Speaker 1: in that situation to begin with, right, They were in
- 9:16Speaker 1: the hole from the beginning. They had to claw their
- 9:17Speaker 1: way back and you don't have to go for two
- 9:19Speaker 1: every time if you get one field goal out of that.
- 9:22Speaker 1: So a lot of decisions, a.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Lot of things go into it. But god, I was
- 9:26Speaker 4: the one that stuck out.
- 9:27Speaker 1: That's tough. I did hit both of those games. As
- 9:32Speaker 1: far as points bread, I was gonna yell on back baby. Fully,
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'm only back mostly because I had Notre Dame plus
- 9:38Speaker 1: eight and a half last night. That final field goal
- 9:41Speaker 1: kicked me right.
- 9:41Speaker 2: In the night.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Idaho State minus eight.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Ended up being a pretty good game, though, and we
- 9:48Speaker 1: come back to that. It was ugly for a long time,
- 9:51Speaker 1: but it ended up I had to turn it on
- 9:54Speaker 1: a watch like I had to care again because well
- 9:58Speaker 1: they when they missed a field goal, I was like, well,
- 10:00Speaker 1: that's it, and then they stopped. If there was a fumble,
- 10:04Speaker 1: the announcer goes you know Framan says they need to
- 10:07Speaker 1: get a turnover. Boom, turnover immediately.
- 10:09Speaker 3: You're not crazy, And he was saying, like, I think
- 10:11Speaker 3: Ohio States only fumbled four times all year.
- 10:13Speaker 1: First play, so it ended fixed the screw the second.
- 10:18Speaker 1: The second quarter and third quarter kind of sucked. Oh yeah,
- 10:21Speaker 1: but the first the first part of the first quarter,
- 10:23Speaker 1: that drive Notre Dame when he ran, I think he
- 10:26Speaker 1: had nine carries in the first drive. They said he
- 10:29Speaker 1: threw up after that drive and he was dead on
- 10:31Speaker 1: the run before that last quarterback Sea. He laid there
- 10:35Speaker 1: for an extra second.
- 10:36Speaker 4: I was like, you're killing him before the game even starts.
- 10:39Speaker 1: So that was exciting. And then when they came back
- 10:42Speaker 1: and made it a one possession game after the fumble,
- 10:45Speaker 1: that was exciting. And then that field goal. Those first
- 10:49Speaker 1: downs just melted them.
- 10:50Speaker 4: You think that they had a chance at the end,
- 10:52Speaker 4: Like you really think that Notre Dame could win this game.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I thought, I need Notre Dame to not allow them
- 10:56Speaker 1: to kick it. I wanted Notreed to win because it's
- 11:01Speaker 1: like the Yankees just won the World Series. Like, you
- 11:03Speaker 1: spend the most money, you know what, You're probably gonna
- 11:05Speaker 1: win more times than not You should win if you're
- 11:08Speaker 1: the Yanks. Yeah, if you're strategic about the money you're spending,
- 11:12Speaker 1: and it's been said one hundred times have a twenty
- 11:14Speaker 1: million dollars roster, so they should. So I was not
- 11:17Speaker 1: rooting for them to win because of that. But I
- 11:19Speaker 1: don't only care about either team.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I felt bad for twenty nine in the corner for
- 11:22Speaker 3: Notre Dame. On that last play the third and ten,
- 11:23Speaker 3: they left them one on one with Smith.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I was like, oh gosh, and they were doing that
- 11:28Speaker 1: so they could stop the run obviously, and Will Howard
- 11:33Speaker 1: saw it.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and it just chunked it. Yeah, we could have
- 11:35Speaker 3: completed that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: And that's ball game. That's ball game. Back to the NFL,
- 11:42Speaker 1: the Commanders and Lions was interesting in a couple places
- 11:46Speaker 1: for me. When Teddy Bridgewater went in, I was like,
- 11:47Speaker 1: let's go. It's awesome coaching high school. Now he's back in.
- 11:52Speaker 1: They ran that that end around to James Williams, and
- 11:57Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, we got us a game here
- 11:59Speaker 1: and now we're back in it. That's pretty cool m hm.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Although I had James Williams like, it's seventy yards receiving,
- 12:04Speaker 1: which he did not get and I was. I was like,
- 12:06Speaker 1: please God to let him count that as like a
- 12:07Speaker 1: shovel pass. They didn't. But the Commanders just owned that game. Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I mean, Jane Daniels was awesome.
- 12:17Speaker 3: He had some throws.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Man. I know, it's like I want because he's a rookie.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I keep waiting for him to rookie.
- 12:24Speaker 4: But it's weird.
- 12:25Speaker 1: It looks like nothing phases, no sign of.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Him, even like the excitement, He's still.
- 12:29Speaker 1: The same, yeap, no sign of it just fits on
- 12:31Speaker 1: the side of the mountain. Does the thing like if
- 12:34Speaker 1: I Jared Goff played maybe the worst I've seen him
- 12:38Speaker 1: play this year.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, the Jared golf game.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a bad mark and Jared and so you
- 12:45Speaker 1: feel bad when a guy has a great season also
- 12:48Speaker 1: runs runs into the Commanders playing one of their best
- 12:53Speaker 1: offensive games. But the Lion's defense is so depleted and
- 12:57Speaker 1: it all just rode that singular wave of the Lions
- 13:03Speaker 1: have no defense, the Commander's offense and Jane Daniels is awesome,
- 13:07Speaker 1: and then Jared Goff had a bad game, and that just.
- 13:09Speaker 3: What did you think about the trick play that basically
- 13:11Speaker 3: sealed the game that you're talking about, the double pass.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Was what quarter was that in?
- 13:16Speaker 3: Because I was the fourth?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Yeah? Was it?
- 13:18Speaker 3: There were down ten driving and that was it.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I thought to myself, don't throw it, don't throw it,
- 13:23Speaker 1: don't throw it. And then I go, well, if I'm
- 13:24Speaker 1: in that situation and I don't ever get to throw it,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I'm throwing it. It's not Jameson's fault, right right, Yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 1: that's what I thought about it. It wasn't like bad call.
- 13:33Speaker 1: It wasn't because what do I know? But I thought
- 13:36Speaker 1: he was so covered, Yeah that I would like to
- 13:40Speaker 1: have think I wouldn't have thrown it or thrown it
- 13:42Speaker 1: at a balance. But then I thought, if I never
- 13:44Speaker 1: get to throw it and you're giving me, I'm throwing it.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 1: So yeah, I understood. We called that James Williams game
- 13:53Speaker 1: Texas and Chiefs. I saw a stat and I wish
- 13:57Speaker 1: I had screenshot it. But a lot of people are
- 14:00Speaker 1: busting the Chiefs and the refs and Mahomes' balls because
- 14:03Speaker 1: it's like he gets all the breaks.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Oh, the personal fouls, rough in the passer.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Yeah, a couple of times that happened. And the stat
- 14:11Speaker 1: was the Chiefs over the season, and I think they
- 14:16Speaker 1: did the last three years because it was the last
- 14:18Speaker 1: two seasons where they won the Super Bowl, they actually
- 14:20Speaker 1: get less penalties than the other teams. But what happens
- 14:23Speaker 1: is my theory is that if you give the Chiefs
- 14:28Speaker 1: an opportunity, an extra opportunity, they take advantage of it
- 14:32Speaker 1: every single time. And did Mahomes flop on that play
- 14:35Speaker 1: out of bounds where he fell, Yeah, of course, But
- 14:37Speaker 1: I'm also not above that.
- 14:38Speaker 4: It's part of his game.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I'm also not above it. And when it doesn't work,
- 14:43Speaker 1: it looks lame, but it probably works a lot of
- 14:45Speaker 1: times that we don't even know. That looks like a
- 14:47Speaker 1: real penalty, but it was that the Chiefs don't actually
- 14:51Speaker 1: get more penalties called on their behalf. So I think
- 14:55Speaker 1: what it is is they're so good. If you give
- 14:57Speaker 1: them just an extra inch, they're gonna exploit anything they
- 15:01Speaker 1: shouldn't have and get another first down or a touchdown
- 15:04Speaker 1: out of it. And that's basically what happened here too.
- 15:06Speaker 1: The one play where he was kind of hitting the
- 15:08Speaker 1: chest in his face mask that personal foul. I can
- 15:10Speaker 1: definitely see where the ref called that it looked like
- 15:12Speaker 1: he was hitting the head because his head popped back up.
- 15:18Speaker 1: On further review, it did look like he got hit
- 15:19Speaker 1: in the chest and then in the face mask, but
- 15:22Speaker 1: they have to protect the quarterbacks. I didn't feel like
- 15:24Speaker 1: Mahomes did anything in that situation, that slide where the
- 15:27Speaker 1: two guys hit above him, that was not a personal foul. However,
- 15:32Speaker 1: bang bang, Maybe it looks like that, but Mahome slides
- 15:35Speaker 1: so late, like he lures these guys in. Yeah, it's brilliant. Yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 1: it's oh, your hater Patriots. He doesn't want to watching them.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I can't.
- 15:45Speaker 3: It's like watching James Harden. It's like watching all these
- 15:48Speaker 3: guys where you're like, this isn't even fun.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Here's the difference. Hard has never won a championship.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I mean I get that, but that three.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Bones when you jump into him like it's it is cheap.
- 15:57Speaker 3: It's hard to watch.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It's strategic. And again I'll say it again. They have
- 16:01Speaker 1: less penalties called on their behalf in the other teams.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So what you're seeing is that happen and then then
- 16:05Speaker 1: them capitalize off of it, and then you cry, your
- 16:07Speaker 1: little New England Patriots here because you're the dynasty and
- 16:11Speaker 1: once this happens, you just got trumped.
- 16:14Speaker 4: I do feel Brady would do the same thing Brady.
- 16:19Speaker 3: You would go down without getting to there's a difference.
- 16:20Speaker 3: I can show you a highlight reel of Brady's helmet.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I can you want to show stuff. Look, this is
- 16:28Speaker 1: what I want to say about Brady. He cried all
- 16:30Speaker 1: the time. People would have a different complaint, but the
- 16:32Speaker 1: same complaint like Brady cries and gets every call. I
- 16:35Speaker 1: was all for it. Any advantage you can get, get
- 16:40Speaker 1: it if you're not cheating. Homes isn't cheating. There's nothing
- 16:43Speaker 1: he's doing. He's not putting pine tar on the ball
- 16:46Speaker 1: in the bad he's not taking he's not He's doing nothing.
- 16:50Speaker 1: They may have to change rules because of it. He
- 16:51Speaker 1: slows up.
- 16:52Speaker 3: We need to review these, and we need to review them.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, I'm okay with that. But the problem with
- 16:57Speaker 1: reviewing a lot of these five Oh, I don't care
- 17:01Speaker 1: about that, nah, because they they're getting prett quick at
- 17:04Speaker 1: that say you can do it pretty quick. Yeah, and
- 17:06Speaker 1: they have upstairs as well. Sometimes it is such a
- 17:10Speaker 1: judgment call that most of them are just going to
- 17:12Speaker 1: be upheld because it was called on the field. It's
- 17:14Speaker 1: so close. You may get the occasional, but how are
- 17:17Speaker 1: you going to call it when Mahomes is slowing down,
- 17:19Speaker 1: going out of balance, so he gets hit. What are
- 17:21Speaker 1: you gonna call slowing?
- 17:23Speaker 3: But then you have guys like you got Jared Golf
- 17:26Speaker 3: on the picticks got absolutely annihilated.
- 17:28Speaker 1: We're not talking about Jared Goff.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I'm just saying you're comparatively.
- 17:31Speaker 1: No, we're not comparing to other Brady did not get
- 17:33Speaker 1: the comparisons. If you brought up Brady, I'd like to
- 17:36Speaker 1: use him in this argument. Tom Brady cried more than
- 17:39Speaker 1: any player I've You never.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Get a penalty for crying, though, No, but you.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Get breaks, you get the refs protecting their boy. Gosh,
- 17:44Speaker 1: that would be cool, though, crying number twelve. They protected
- 17:49Speaker 1: Tom Brady more than all of them.
- 17:51Speaker 3: No, let's not be yes Aaron Rodgers, what's the theme
- 17:57Speaker 3: the super Bowl winning quarterbacks? Well, yeah, some of them are.
- 18:01Speaker 1: No, No, everyone you just mentioned one a super.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Bowl that's been like fifteen years. Herbert died every single
- 18:06Speaker 3: ties until Jalen Hurts. He had a bad one the
- 18:09Speaker 3: other day, didn't get called.
- 18:10Speaker 4: He's not a superstar yet.
- 18:12Speaker 3: He's been to super Bowl, just hasn't won one yet.
- 18:14Speaker 3: It's like I would say, bucket, you gotta get a
- 18:16Speaker 3: helmet thing on your.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I don't think I would go as hard on you,
- 18:18Speaker 1: except you're so a Brady guy and I'm not. It's
- 18:21Speaker 1: just hard.
- 18:22Speaker 3: It's hard to watch.
- 18:22Speaker 1: And that's what we said about Brady. He cries every
- 18:25Speaker 1: and anytime anybody touches him flag.
- 18:27Speaker 4: I remember that.
- 18:28Speaker 1: But he falls before he even gets touched, and he
- 18:30Speaker 1: would get flags, he would get rough. Yes, no, dude,
- 18:36Speaker 1: if you don't think Mahome is getting the Brady treatment,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I've never you have Patriot colored glasses on?
- 18:41Speaker 3: Okay, did you ever see Brady flop when he barely.
- 18:46Speaker 1: They have different annoying traits.
- 18:47Speaker 3: I don't even know as a grown man. I don't
- 18:49Speaker 3: even know how you can watch that back of yourself
- 18:51Speaker 3: with your Patrick man watching it cry the whole time.
- 18:54Speaker 3: I look like a baby. I think both I will
- 18:58Speaker 3: stand on this hill and die forever.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You're dead. You're already dead, because both of them are
- 19:03Speaker 1: given the gifts of being the NFL's most super of superstars.
- 19:08Speaker 1: And you must protect the most super of superstars just
- 19:11Speaker 1: because of the money involved. And if you don't think
- 19:14Speaker 1: Brady had such preferential beneficial treatment because of what he deserved,
- 19:22Speaker 1: all of the championships. You're out of your mind. You
- 19:25Speaker 1: are out of your mind. So Donald Trump sounds like it.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Thank you. I was trying to love anyway, that's all.
- 19:31Speaker 1: But I also think it's it's hilarious. I hate it
- 19:33Speaker 1: because I'm I'm not for flopping. So when he fell
- 19:36Speaker 1: over the sidelines, I was like, yeah, that was that
- 19:38Speaker 1: didn't look very good. Yea.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Honestly, his little fingers after a play, like more than
- 19:43Speaker 4: anything else he does.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Put the Chiefs in a vacuum. And there's never been
- 19:49Speaker 1: an NFL season ever, and this is the only NFL
- 19:51Speaker 1: season ever, and you're watching the Chiefs. You're not annoyed
- 19:53Speaker 1: by them. You're annoyed by them because they went all
- 19:55Speaker 1: the time. Nothing about that team is annoying. You're right,
- 19:58Speaker 1: and there's nothing to dislike there cheating, They haven't sent
- 20:01Speaker 1: cameras in watching other people's practice as Patriots. There's no
- 20:04Speaker 1: deflate gate.
- 20:06Speaker 3: You really think that's a real thing.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't matter on the inside.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Someone on the inside. He said the ball was like
- 20:12Speaker 4: a sponge.
- 20:13Speaker 3: They spent more time on the plate than anything else.
- 20:16Speaker 3: In the end, I think the.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Gate is stupid, but I'm saying it changed people's perceptions
- 20:20Speaker 1: of the team.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Yeah, the NFL came after the Patriots, where the NFL
- 20:24Speaker 3: loves the Chiefs right now, Yeah, loves. I want to
- 20:27Speaker 3: see a camera on guys like Taylor Switzerland. There's a
- 20:29Speaker 3: bad place.
- 20:30Speaker 1: You're missing the point. What I'm saying is there's nothing
- 20:33Speaker 1: to dislike about the Chiefs.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I like, I dislike a lot.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Of the Yes, because you're a Patriots fan.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Maybe a lot of people Ravens fans, they're pretty I mean, yeah, you're.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Right, I kind of hate the Chiefs.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Kelsey, why can't you watch? He's a baby? Okay, he is.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I am not a Kelsey super fan. My only point
- 20:53Speaker 1: is you have such hatred toward them because you're a
- 20:55Speaker 1: Patriots fan. You do not want them if they win
- 20:57Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. They are now, But there's other teams
- 21:00Speaker 1: like yeah, let me finish my sentence.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I never hated the Warriors.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Okay, but they're not fighting your Patriots and Boston.
- 21:07Speaker 3: But they beat the Celtics and Thestindals and I wasn't
- 21:09Speaker 3: even that mad.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Doesn't matter. Boston won one.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Last year.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Wait, yeah, they won. They won last year. You're not
- 21:16Speaker 1: talking about you're scared they will go down as the
- 21:19Speaker 1: greatest dynasty ever, which is way different because that's what
- 21:22Speaker 1: you hold your hat onto. That's way different than it's
- 21:25Speaker 1: a mix.
- 21:27Speaker 4: It's just funny that when the Patriots are winning, you're like, oh, yeah, well,
- 21:30Speaker 4: what's wrong with us? We're great fans, Like we're not annoying.
- 21:33Speaker 4: But now that you you see the other side of it.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Loved the hatred.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I loved it, you're annoying.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Loved it.
- 21:40Speaker 1: But if you don't think Brady got the Mahomes treatment,
- 21:43Speaker 1: which they both are getting the treatment, you're crazy. It's
- 21:46Speaker 1: worse than Mahomes gets. Now, yes, you just were getting.
- 21:52Speaker 3: The different kind of treatment. The difference between whining and
- 21:56Speaker 3: there's a difference between like flopping and egging. These guys
- 21:59Speaker 3: onf for defensive.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Whatever they were good at they got, they got back.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Like Reddy was great at crying like a little baby,
- 22:05Speaker 1: and so he benefited from that. Mahomes is great at flopping,
- 22:08Speaker 1: he benefits from that.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah, But like I said, crying doesn't get you a flag.
- 22:12Speaker 1: It does late the next play when it happens again,
- 22:14Speaker 1: which probably wouldn't be a flag. But because you cried
- 22:16Speaker 1: about it so much.
- 22:17Speaker 3: I don't think we're gonna go anywhere with this.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I think it's four on one. Oh, I don't care.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I don't like both of them, so I'm not I
- 22:27Speaker 1: like both of them, is the weird thing. I liked it.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I a Niner and a Ravens fan over the weekend,
- 22:32Speaker 3: and they were more pissed than I was.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Yeah, because they both lost and suck. Yeah.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Bet this is before the Ravens lost.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Well, the Niners didn't make it, and the Ravens are
- 22:40Speaker 1: just bitter. They haven't made it. They lost last year
- 22:42Speaker 1: in the Afty Championship in Baltimore.
- 22:44Speaker 4: And I'm sure you've influenced them somehow, not at all
- 22:47Speaker 4: as your friends.
- 22:48Speaker 1: No, dang, he so dude, he's so sour right now.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You are. You can't take it. If the Chiefs win,
- 22:55Speaker 1: you're no longer the greatest dynasty. It's the first time ever.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Not four can Bury to seven.
- 23:02Speaker 1: But it's three in a row. That's never happened. That's
- 23:04Speaker 1: never a big We've had two dynasties. This will be
- 23:08Speaker 1: one for them. Never has any one through. And you're
- 23:10Speaker 1: about to get your coach with plays the coaches the
- 23:12Speaker 1: best coach all time. When Andy Reid beats him.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, go ahead.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just saying this is fun.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Three in a row and Mike he got any long
- 23:20Speaker 3: lorns gear I can borrow.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Three in a row is epic. And I'm not even
- 23:23Speaker 1: fine for my teams. I'm just fine for common sense. Anyway,
- 23:28Speaker 1: the Chiefs won, and I don't think it was because
- 23:31Speaker 1: of the refs. I think the refs give him Homes
- 23:34Speaker 1: the Brady treatment, as I call it. But they also
- 23:38Speaker 1: the special teams was to good for thee The Texans
- 23:41Speaker 1: just were not gonna win that game. Yeah, Kimey fan Baron,
- 23:44Speaker 1: no boy, no, yeah, he like had on nine layers
- 23:47Speaker 1: of clothes. He like had on a had on a turtle.
- 23:50Speaker 1: He had on like the north faced coat. As he's
- 23:52Speaker 1: kicking over you just right. You just tell you was cold.
- 23:56Speaker 1: It is cold. Good games. Now. The pressure though, because
- 24:02Speaker 1: I don't feel like the pressure of the Josh Allen,
- 24:06Speaker 1: Like Josh Allen's pressure wasn't this last game, pressure to win,
- 24:09Speaker 1: pressure to win a Super Bowl. But like his boogey
- 24:13Speaker 1: man is Patrick Mahomes. Yeah, Lamar's is winning a playoff game.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So if the Bills lose that that sucks. Josh Allen
- 24:21Speaker 1: didn't get to a super Bowl again, didn't win a
- 24:23Speaker 1: super Bowl, but it's not can't win in the playoffs.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Does Josh Allen get the Tom Brady treatment.
- 24:30Speaker 1: No, because he plays a completely different style of ball.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And also he's not won super bowls.
- 24:33Speaker 5: Because he did have that one moment like what was
- 24:35Speaker 5: it two weeks ago where the ref came up to
- 24:36Speaker 5: him on the sideline and like apologize for a call. Though,
- 24:38Speaker 5: So I mean he does get a little, a.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Little love superstar treatment, superstar treatment, but there's only two.
- 24:44Speaker 1: The Brady Mahomes treatment is totally different than anybody else.
- 24:48Speaker 1: All I'm saying is are the same. I'm not even
- 24:49Speaker 1: saying that Brady's was worse.
- 24:50Speaker 3: So I didn't even say anything. I'm not even in this.
- 24:53Speaker 3: I'm not saying anything. We're gonna agree to disagree, and
- 24:57Speaker 3: I will die on the hill.
- 24:58Speaker 1: His face is getting ready et mad to end conclusion.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I forget my point, Oh, Josh, Josh Allen's boogey man.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Like Josh Allen, me too. I think he plays like awesome.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Youck, he comes down with a buffalo Bill's hat tomorrow.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Josh Allen's boogieman is Patrick Mahomes Lamar Jackson's is the playoffs.
- 25:21Speaker 1: If Josh Allen loses to Patrick Mahomes again, it'll be
- 25:24Speaker 1: what Lamar is suffering from right now. Can't win because
- 25:27Speaker 1: of playoffs. Josh Allen can't win because of Patrick Mahomes.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Not regular season. Yeah, being a regular season all day,
- 25:34Speaker 1: no problem, by the way, playoffs. Travis Kelsey m VP.
- 25:37Speaker 1: That dude. It's just like he just waits. He didn't
- 25:40Speaker 1: even start and he's like no one ever around him either. Whatever.
- 25:44Speaker 1: But he's looking a little old though. He's a little
- 25:47Speaker 1: slow slower. I saw through every playoff game Kelsey's played in.
- 25:52Speaker 1: He might he's at like either ninety nine or one
- 25:54Speaker 1: hundred yards, averaging one hundred yards a game through every
- 25:56Speaker 1: playoff game and a touchdown at least a game average. Gene, Wow,
- 26:01Speaker 1: it's crazy. I mean even last week we can go well,
- 26:04Speaker 1: those are inflated numbers from the beginning of his playoff front. No,
- 26:06Speaker 1: I think he caught for I think he cut for one, one,
- 26:09Speaker 1: ten or something out seventeen. Yeah, yeah, it's awesome.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Let's go choose the glory fly wide receiver that are
- 26:17Speaker 3: you talking about?
- 26:17Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, that's gonna fight to Travis Kelsey.
- 26:22Speaker 3: I'm glad he's continuing on because he's trying to poke
- 26:27Speaker 3: at it. I know what he's doing.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I'm literally just talking about stats. Did you guys feel
- 26:32Speaker 1: I was poking at all? Guy's so sensitive and triggered
- 26:35Speaker 1: right now because the Patriots might be the second greatest
- 26:37Speaker 1: dynasty ever. Seven that's great. Nobody's ever done three in
- 26:44Speaker 1: a row. Okay, and with look with can you imagine
- 26:49Speaker 1: three plus the one for that early in Patrick Moms's career,
- 26:53Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, he might win ten. Yeah, especially when
- 26:56Speaker 1: he's getting the Brady treatment. Tom Brady would get stripped
- 27:00Speaker 1: from the goat title.
- 27:01Speaker 4: That'd be crazy. You know.
- 27:02Speaker 1: If he wins this one, they'll start to debate that.
- 27:04Speaker 1: It'll be a real life debate like who's the greatest
- 27:06Speaker 1: of all time? And they'll go, well, Brady because he's
- 27:09Speaker 1: won more. But then they'll go but at this point
- 27:11Speaker 1: in their careers, Mahomes is significantly ahead of Brady, so
- 27:15Speaker 1: that will be the conversation. Mm hmm, Kevin, Okay, we'll
- 27:21Speaker 1: move on.
- 27:21Speaker 3: We all know, I mean, who's beat him twice in
- 27:23Speaker 3: the playoffs? That's true, Tom Brady. If you guys didn't know,
- 27:28Speaker 3: cool knock him out twice, and so Eli the.
- 27:32Speaker 1: AFC Championship is Eli Manning the greatest of all time? No, okay,
- 27:37Speaker 1: wonder because I think he'd be he'd be tom right.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Yeah twice.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Yeah, just making sure not seventh things that's true to
- 27:45Speaker 1: that champ anyway. College football fun Yeah yeah yeah. Bad
- 27:48Speaker 1: timing though for that game, because you're right in the
- 27:52Speaker 1: middle of it's you know, a f C, NFC championship week.
- 27:55Speaker 1: We just had the divisional round, you have a LKDA,
- 28:00Speaker 1: you have the inauguration. It's like, of all those things.
- 28:03Speaker 4: They should have done it on Friday, because Friday was
- 28:05Speaker 4: the day that really should have did it a week
- 28:07Speaker 4: ago or that too. But they give them that whole
- 28:09Speaker 4: week buffer.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I know, you start to see some week earlier. That'd
- 28:12Speaker 1: be cool.
- 28:13Speaker 4: That'd be cool with that.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah, bad scheduling on their part.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Yeah, they'll tak what about getting rid of conference championships
- 28:19Speaker 3: and just started everything week early.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm in with that too. I'm fine with that too,
- 28:24Speaker 1: mostly because I don't like how they're affecting the call.
- 28:27Speaker 1: We've only done it one year, how they're affecting the
- 28:29Speaker 1: college football playoff and they're like, even if you lose
- 28:32Speaker 1: your conference championship, you shouldn't lose. I think I'm okay
- 28:35Speaker 1: with the conference championship games if everything can remain fluid.
- 28:40Speaker 1: And what that means is, I just need a definition
- 28:43Speaker 1: of what we're looking for instead of everybody arguing about
- 28:45Speaker 1: what should happen, and if the group is going to
- 28:48Speaker 1: penalize the team for losing and the like. If the
- 28:50Speaker 1: rule is you make it, and you were already making
- 28:53Speaker 1: it before, we're not going to penalize you. Let's just
- 28:55Speaker 1: state it ahead of time, if you were already what
- 28:58Speaker 1: I would like, and they do it as they go.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Here's what it would be if it were today. This
- 29:02Speaker 1: is what the bracket would look like. And so if
- 29:06Speaker 1: they just said because they indicated it, but they weren't
- 29:09Speaker 1: married to it. Anybody that goes to a game, we
- 29:11Speaker 1: can't see them not making it. If they lose a
- 29:13Speaker 1: conference game, just say it. But then again, the conference
- 29:17Speaker 1: having a conference champion is fun, but then they're so big.
- 29:21Speaker 1: You may have three people winning to big ten. Yeah,
- 29:24Speaker 1: like you, because again there's so many teams and you
- 29:26Speaker 1: can have a bunch of one loss teams because teams
- 29:29Speaker 1: don't play each other. So I just hope, and I
- 29:32Speaker 1: think there will be for more definition of what they're
- 29:34Speaker 1: looking for in order for the playoffs to happen. I
- 29:37Speaker 1: think they will tweak those put the top four teams
- 29:38Speaker 1: in the next year. I don't think they'll do that.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I don't think we'll have Boise in Arizona State getting
- 29:43Speaker 1: a buy right. Yeah, they're going to change that, and
- 29:45Speaker 1: I think they have indicated that they could possibly tweak,
- 29:49Speaker 1: which means they're going to fix that.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Would Notre Dame in Ohio State, I guess the High
- 29:56Speaker 4: State would have been in the top four. Yeah, and
- 29:58Speaker 4: Notre Dame. Right if this were two years ago.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I'd have to think back. But you would go or
- 30:04Speaker 1: you go Oregon, Hm, you would go Texas Texas. Texas
- 30:09Speaker 1: will probably be in the top four. Yeah. Or Georgia
- 30:12Speaker 1: Nah they oh Georgia b Texas a conference champion Alabama No, Yeah,
- 30:17Speaker 1: for sure. Yeah, i'd have made a lot of money.
- 30:19Speaker 1: They have made it.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess just Ohio State really wouldn't.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Georgia would have been there though, and they weren't, Yeah,
- 30:26Speaker 1: because they won the other like Penn Staton Organ played
- 30:29Speaker 1: each other, not even oh Iowa State. Yeah. Yeah, I
- 30:33Speaker 1: just have to make it sixteen teams. Yeah, let's do
- 30:37Speaker 1: sixty four. Screw it, dude, like like marketing.
- 30:40Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, to start the season as a sixty that'd
- 30:43Speaker 4: be awesome.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Sixty four Draft Kings is crowning a king of the
- 30:46Speaker 1: end zone every NFL game day this weekend. It's easy
- 30:49Speaker 1: to do. You place a five dollars pregame bet on
- 30:51Speaker 1: an offensive player to find the end zone. If they
- 30:53Speaker 1: have the longest rushing or receiving touchdown that day, they're
- 30:57Speaker 1: King of the end zone and you want to share
- 30:59Speaker 1: two million dollars in bonus bets. Sakwan Barkley was Sunday's
- 31:02Speaker 1: King of the end Zone with his seventy eight yard
- 31:04Speaker 1: rushing touchdown. He won over forty two thousand betters forty
- 31:08Speaker 1: dollars in bonus bets only because I mean he's a
- 31:11Speaker 1: pretty common pick, right. I think maybe Sunday, Jamis and
- 31:16Speaker 1: Williams had the longest rush Saturday. Oh was that Saturday? Yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 1: they played Saturday, so he was number two. Yeah. So
- 31:22Speaker 1: but if you pick somebody and they're not one of
- 31:25Speaker 1: like the top three, like that's where you make the real.

- 32:24Speaker 1: So Eddie broke his arm roller skating. It was my
- 32:27Speaker 1: son's birthday and he's six years old. You want to
- 32:30Speaker 1: go roller skating. It's bothering him. I can tell you that.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I can tell it hurts and it's bothering you.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I think my pain pills ran out like so,
- 32:36Speaker 4: I'm kind, I'm feeling everything, and honestly, it's it's just
- 32:39Speaker 4: I can't There's no place I can put my arm,
- 32:41Speaker 4: even in this sling where it doesn't hurt. It just
- 32:44Speaker 4: hurts every way I put it. If I lean it
- 32:46Speaker 4: on this rest, this arm rest, it hurts. If I
- 32:49Speaker 4: put in the sling, it hurts. It just it hurts
- 32:51Speaker 4: the whole time.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I hate that for you. Did he say where it broke?
- 32:56Speaker 4: He said it broke in the radius bone, right below
- 32:59Speaker 4: the elbow.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Is that something they're gonna have to reset or have
- 33:01Speaker 1: surgery on?
- 33:02Speaker 4: I will find that out in about an hour.
- 33:04Speaker 1: What did that? What did that? Because you went to
- 33:06Speaker 1: like a general mercery room doctor right.
- 33:07Speaker 4: What to the r Yeah, So I broke it on
- 33:09Speaker 4: Saturday night and I was like, I'm just gonna toughen
- 33:12Speaker 4: it out. I'm gonna sleep, And then at seven am
- 33:15Speaker 4: and we go to urgent Care and then they'll X
- 33:16Speaker 4: ray and tell me what's up. I didn't even make it.
- 33:18Speaker 4: It was like three in the morning. I woke up
- 33:20Speaker 4: crying and I'm like, I need to go to the
- 33:21Speaker 4: mercery room. Like this hurts so bad.
- 33:23Speaker 1: That sucks. I really feel bad for you because it
- 33:26Speaker 1: just seems like something an eleven year old does. Break
- 33:28Speaker 1: some arm. Yeah, yeah, I know, like it sucks. It
- 33:33Speaker 1: does suck, especially your right arm. We can put together
- 33:35Speaker 1: our differences on Brady and mahomes to come together and say, dude,
- 33:38Speaker 1: that sucks.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Sucks.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Thank you, guys. It's a lot. I can tell you
- 33:41Speaker 4: how hard that is.
- 33:42Speaker 1: For you, guys. So, but with a broken arm. There
- 33:46Speaker 1: have been conspiracy theories about your broken arm.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Oh did read send one in?
- 33:51Speaker 1: No? No, what do you think? Why?
- 33:53Speaker 4: What do you you feel like? I read would be
- 33:54Speaker 4: like he's just trying to get out of workouts.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Interesting conspiracy that Reed would think you don't want to
- 34:02Speaker 1: work out for a while. Not true, by the way.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Your second broken bone though in like six months.
- 34:07Speaker 4: Uh yeah, here I broke my foot. Yeah, this here
- 34:10Speaker 4: broke my arm. I just need to change my lifestyle, dude,
- 34:13Speaker 4: something's got to change.
- 34:15Speaker 1: This was roller skating. I don't know if this is
- 34:17Speaker 1: a lifestyle thing you normally do that.
- 34:19Speaker 4: Oh, no, it is because when you go to the
- 34:20Speaker 4: roller skating rink and they say, hey, come on, let's
- 34:22Speaker 4: go skating, you say, no, I'm forty five years old. Yeah,
- 34:26Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 34:27Speaker 1: So you don't want to do too much access and.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Go that's different, dude, that's different.
- 34:31Speaker 1: You broke your foot in St. Louis trying to cover second.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Now he's for sure a twelve year old.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Now, yeah, no, no, I still want to do too
- 34:39Speaker 4: much access.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Kevin has a conspiracy theory about your arm.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Of course, Yeah, Eddie, we talked about it last week.
- 34:45Speaker 3: You brought it up, how you think you're stronger than me.
- 34:47Speaker 3: And then Casey with a great idea of saying, all right,
- 34:50Speaker 3: let's have them compete and throw the medicine.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Ball over throw the one hundred pound ball.
- 34:54Speaker 3: That's right, one hundred pound ball over your shoulder. How
- 34:57Speaker 3: many you can get in one minute and loser loses
- 35:00Speaker 3: out on the Super Bowl ticket? And how convenient you
- 35:02Speaker 3: come back the following week and your arm is broken
- 35:05Speaker 3: and you can't work out. So I think you did
- 35:08Speaker 3: this to get out of the competition, because you know
- 35:10Speaker 3: you're gonna lose and you want to go to the
- 35:12Speaker 3: super Bowl.
- 35:12Speaker 4: The great theory, man, great theory. I really wish that
- 35:15Speaker 4: was it. Then I would tell you, Okay, I'm just joking,
- 35:17Speaker 4: let's us do it. But it's not, dude, but you.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Like mean to get hurt, Like I don't think you
- 35:21Speaker 3: meant to break your arm, but like maybe you meant
- 35:22Speaker 3: to like I don't want to sprain your wrists.
- 35:24Speaker 1: And then we never saw an X ray.
- 35:27Speaker 4: Oh, I'll ask for one today because they're gonna take
- 35:30Speaker 4: one today. But your doctor, like it was weird. He
- 35:32Speaker 4: came in, He's like, all right, so here's what it is.
- 35:34Speaker 4: And then he's like, I'm gonna double check with radiation though,
- 35:37Speaker 4: to make sure what I saw was correct. And then
- 35:40Speaker 4: next person that came in was the nurse. Said you're
- 35:41Speaker 4: ready to go home. So I never found out, Like
- 35:44Speaker 4: what the radiation doctor said.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Is it called a radiation doctor?
- 35:49Speaker 4: Well he said, oh, imaging, he said, imaging doctors radiation
- 35:52Speaker 4: uranium straight in that arm.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Man.
- 35:54Speaker 3: That was just like, this just looks like anything.
- 35:57Speaker 1: You can pick up a good Will exactly, like you
- 35:59Speaker 1: can just go grab that Walmart. So is there a
- 36:02Speaker 1: chance today you go in and they're like, no, dude,
- 36:04Speaker 1: it's just bruised.
- 36:05Speaker 4: No, no, because it's what how many days have been Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
- 36:09Speaker 4: I mean it's been like it hurts, dude, I can't
- 36:12Speaker 4: even rotate my wrist.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Do you think that because of your broken arm, that
- 36:17Speaker 1: you should just be allowed to have one of the
- 36:18Speaker 1: Super Bowl tickets and you shouldn't have to compete in
- 36:21Speaker 1: any way.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Oh that's a great point. Yeah, yeah, especially if you
- 36:25Speaker 4: can do a physical competition.
- 36:26Speaker 1: There's no way, and you can do the fifty pound
- 36:30Speaker 1: with one arm, and then he can he could do
- 36:32Speaker 1: he could do the hundred. That's fair. Yeah.
- 36:37Speaker 4: No, no, because I'm telling you man, even like I
- 36:40Speaker 4: was talking to someone yesterday and I put my hand
- 36:42Speaker 4: out kind of like I don't know, but I moved
- 36:45Speaker 4: my right hand without even thinking, like I don't know,
- 36:48Speaker 4: and I was like, oh, that hurts so bad. So
- 36:51Speaker 4: there's no way I can pick up anything with my
- 36:53Speaker 4: left arm without my right arm, even just not thinking
- 36:56Speaker 4: about doing helping out.
- 36:58Speaker 1: And in your opinion, there's instead of four people fighting
- 37:02Speaker 1: for three tickets, it should be two people, two people
- 37:04Speaker 1: fighting for three tickets. Correct, And you should I'm broken
- 37:07Speaker 1: armed in.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I man, I broke my arm. It's like, sorry, dude,
- 37:10Speaker 4: this is terrible. You're going to the super Bowl.
- 37:12Speaker 1: I mean it's tough not to, you know, bring it
- 37:15Speaker 1: down any further. But I saw where the Cowboys have
- 37:17Speaker 1: the longest NFC championship game drought in NFL history. Yeah,
- 37:20Speaker 1: to add to the broken arm because look at the
- 37:23Speaker 1: command I mean the Commanders are in yeah, one year
- 37:26Speaker 1: after being terrible.
- 37:28Speaker 4: And you know their head coach is our ex defensive coordinator.
- 37:31Speaker 1: That's true too.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Yeah, and then the Eagles their offensive coordinator was our
- 37:34Speaker 4: old offensive coordinator. It's just sad, dude.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I have a picture of me and they Amander's head coach,
- 37:40Speaker 1: Dank Quinn on the field at the Cowboys game.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Did you guys know each other?
- 37:44Speaker 1: No? But I just said, can't get a picture.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Is he a big dude? He looks pretty big.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I need to look back at the picture, I think so.
- 37:52Speaker 1: I think I don't know.
- 37:53Speaker 4: His upper body looks big.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Yeah, he looks at me like his chess looks got it, big,
- 37:57Speaker 1: got it. I have thinking about putting it in like aar
- 38:00Speaker 1: are sending it to read because he's wearing like blue
- 38:03Speaker 1: because he was a Cowboys coach, but like having return
- 38:05Speaker 1: it into commander's colors. Well, it's like I'm on the
- 38:07Speaker 1: field at the commander's game with the commander's head coach.
- 38:09Speaker 4: I think you should do it. Yes, I mean that's
- 38:11Speaker 4: what they do when someone commits right or they're transferring.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Oh do it? Yeah, maybe I do. That's funny. Okay,
- 38:20Speaker 1: we have to we have to work on the super
- 38:22Speaker 1: Bowl thing. Still.
- 38:24Speaker 3: I was looking forward to that one.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I'll tell you what though, dude's pretty cool telling people
- 38:27Speaker 4: like I might go to the super Bowl this year.
- 38:29Speaker 1: I don't think you're saying, Mike, if I'm being honest,
- 38:31Speaker 1: because I already talk about it, you're saying you're going.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Who'd you hear me talk to you? I'm just saying,
- 38:35Speaker 1: you're telling people you're going to the super Bowl.
- 38:37Speaker 4: Maybe I think I said maybe I might go to
- 38:39Speaker 4: super Bowl.
- 38:40Speaker 1: You're going to It is a flex. I mean, I
- 38:42Speaker 1: get it.
- 38:42Speaker 4: I mean it's crazy, dude. If I get to go
- 38:45Speaker 4: to the super Bowl, if any of us get sorry reading,
- 38:47Speaker 4: if any of us get to go to the super Bowl, dude,
- 38:49Speaker 4: it's pretty that's pretty amazing.
- 38:51Speaker 1: You know, it's weird. I was watching these guys kick
- 38:54Speaker 1: barefoot in the warm up. Some of the guys were
- 38:58Speaker 1: kicking barefoot. I can't kick anyway. To kick barefoot seems
- 39:04Speaker 1: so painful and it was cold too.
- 39:06Speaker 4: I don't know why they would do that, but why
- 39:08Speaker 4: did it?
- 39:08Speaker 1: But how can anybody kick barefoot? Because some guys will
- 39:10Speaker 1: just even like on Instagram, they'll kick fifty yard field
- 39:13Speaker 1: goals like and they want to do it barefoot. I
- 39:17Speaker 1: don't even know where to kick the ball. I guess
- 39:18Speaker 1: the top of your foots were he's supposed to kick it.
- 39:20Speaker 4: You didn't know that because when we were doing too
- 39:22Speaker 4: much access, you were kicking.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Literally, yeah, but wouldn't that hurt?
- 39:27Speaker 4: Like the guy with half a foot?
- 39:28Speaker 1: Who is that? U chick? He had the longest field
- 39:32Speaker 1: goal for a long time.
- 39:32Speaker 4: They played for the Saints. Do you know that half
- 39:35Speaker 4: a foot?
- 39:36Speaker 1: Will you look up the guy's name with half a foot?
- 39:39Speaker 1: To Tom that's a good one. Yeah, it blew my mind.
- 39:44Speaker 1: They were kicking barefoot one and the cold, but barefoot
- 39:46Speaker 1: at all? That feels like it was hur Eddie. Could
- 39:48Speaker 1: you cook barefoot?
- 39:48Speaker 4: Na, I've I've done it.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Is it hurt?
- 39:51Speaker 4: Yeah? It hurts really?
- 39:52Speaker 3: And why do they choose to do this maybe like snow.
- 39:55Speaker 4: The feel of the ball, like knowing exactly where to
- 39:58Speaker 4: kick it. I have no idea, dude. It sounds toper
- 40:00Speaker 4: to me.
- 40:00Speaker 1: They were talking about the field of the ball and
- 40:02Speaker 1: this I understood, where they the uh, the kicker, the play,
- 40:09Speaker 1: the placeholder, Yeah, catch it, spin it. Yeah that they don't.
- 40:13Speaker 1: They can't catch it and spin it with gloves on
- 40:15Speaker 1: because they're they're wearing gloves and their hands are so cold.
- 40:18Speaker 1: But they don't want to wear gloves because with that
- 40:20Speaker 1: you do need to have extreme control of the ball.
- 40:24Speaker 1: So those guys they're taking the snap, putting it down,
- 40:28Speaker 1: spinning the ball before the kicker kicks it. With gloves,
- 40:31Speaker 1: obviously the ball will not be as active want to
- 40:33Speaker 1: move this fast because your gloves are there for a reason,
- 40:35Speaker 1: which is to create traction.
- 40:37Speaker 4: And what I've also heard is that they shaved the
- 40:39Speaker 4: football down. The kicking footballs. I think those are different
- 40:43Speaker 4: footballs than the actual footballs they used to like just
- 40:46Speaker 4: on a regular.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Play sudden one of our trips to the.
- 40:49Speaker 1: B y U is a b y uh Maybe it
- 40:51Speaker 1: was BYU. Maybe I heard that they would take balls
- 40:53Speaker 1: into flate.
- 40:54Speaker 3: I knew this.
- 40:55Speaker 4: I knew this was yes, so the quarterback could rip
- 40:58Speaker 4: it better, Yeah, and throw it and throw it further and.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Either to six.
- 41:02Speaker 1: I don't think the play was a real thing, by
- 41:04Speaker 1: the way, I think it was. I rooted for the
- 41:08Speaker 1: Patriots spygate, that's it. Yeah, thank you. I'm sorry about
- 41:12Speaker 1: your Cowboys though, Okay, who's gonna coach you, man? Because
- 41:14Speaker 1: they're starting to fall into place.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I saw though, you're Ben Johnson guy got taken to.
- 41:19Speaker 1: The Bears and it was Raider Raider, Raider, Raider, Raider,
- 41:22Speaker 1: Tom Brady Raider, Raider, Bears crazy.
- 41:26Speaker 5: If I was a Lions fan, I would hate him
- 41:27Speaker 5: for going to the Bears, right, and because it seems
- 41:30Speaker 5: like he wasn't really his best game either, this last
- 41:33Speaker 5: one against Washington.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a tough way to go out on.
- 41:36Speaker 1: That's a professional You're gonna be angry. Is I taking
- 41:40Speaker 1: a head coach job? And they will play them twice
- 41:43Speaker 1: though every year. I'm just saying, yeah, that's tough, although
- 41:47Speaker 1: I wouldn't because they kept going. Don't count Jacksonville out.
- 41:51Speaker 1: And the only thing about Jacksonville that well, the one
- 41:55Speaker 1: and a half things is one, it's warm, Like that's
- 41:57Speaker 1: a big part of where I want to live. Oh yeah, Florida,
- 42:00Speaker 1: Like Chicago's an awesome city, but during the winter awful. Yeah,
- 42:05Speaker 1: and then you kind of have a quarterback Trevor Lawrence
- 42:07Speaker 1: Like possibly that's one and a half reasons why the Raiders.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I just can't see anybody going to the Raiders and winning.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Vegas. I hear Vegas is a nice town.
- 42:17Speaker 1: But winning, Like, what's that culture?
- 42:19Speaker 4: No, No, you're not gonna win. You're just gonna go
- 42:21Speaker 4: to Vegas and live there.
- 42:23Speaker 1: They haven't won it so long, I cannot visualize them winning.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I guess Brady being there is the only thing, that's all,
- 42:28Speaker 1: And that's why he was considering coaching there, is what
- 42:30Speaker 1: I heard. Like he wasn't evenna take an interview or
- 42:32Speaker 1: talk to anyone. So those see for the Lions and
- 42:37Speaker 1: the DC for the Lions just supposed to be Chicago,
- 42:39Speaker 1: New York the Jets, I mean that's the Yeah. I
- 42:41Speaker 1: mean I'm happy for that. Yeah, we'll see how it goes.
- 42:44Speaker 3: What about your boy getting interviews with Jacksonville?
- 42:47Speaker 5: Oh sala my favorite coach of all time? Yeah, I
- 42:49Speaker 5: mean I don't really understand how he could get another fuck.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Okay, but now that you see it, don't you realize
- 42:54Speaker 1: it wasn't his fault.
- 42:55Speaker 5: He's definitely was part of his fault. He was not
- 42:57Speaker 5: a good leader of men. No, no, no, he's a
- 42:59Speaker 5: good coordinator, like most of.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Them are, you know what I mean? Not all of them. Really.
- 43:02Speaker 1: I feel like he was leading me pretty good. I
- 43:03Speaker 1: liked it. I like me to say stuff breaks.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Like I saw that the listening he interviewed
- 43:09Speaker 4: with the Cowboys.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I saw McCarthy looks like he could be the coach
- 43:13Speaker 1: of the Saints.
- 43:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Again, they're just predicting at this point, but some of
- 43:17Speaker 1: the guys that are pretty in on think McCarthy could
- 43:20Speaker 1: be the coach of the Saints, which would be interesting.
- 43:22Speaker 1: McCarthy's a good coach. And then here we are back
- 43:24Speaker 1: in Dallas, and I think they're probably if I were
- 43:28Speaker 1: to pick two people, I could see taking that job, Eddie,
- 43:31Speaker 1: who are your two people? Uh?
- 43:32Speaker 4: Dion and Riverboat?
- 43:35Speaker 1: No chance to Torona Baron, dude, I mean we would just.
- 43:37Speaker 4: Talk to him.
- 43:38Speaker 1: No chances And he even said the Cowboys sent me up.
- 43:40Speaker 4: I think about that.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I don't know, dude, change me.
- 43:44Speaker 4: I feel like that'd be the perfect fit.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I feel like you need some But okay, before I
- 43:51Speaker 1: say this, Kevin, who who are the two people you
- 43:54Speaker 1: think you could take that job?
- 43:55Speaker 3: I would say Cliff and Dion.
- 43:57Speaker 1: You know what I would. I'm gonna go three then,
- 43:59Speaker 1: because Cliff's specially especially with the Commander's winning now exactly
- 44:02Speaker 1: if they had have lost this last week, I don't
- 44:04Speaker 1: think I put Cliff in the probable conversation, but I
- 44:07Speaker 1: think that now gives Jerry enough of And also, Cliff
- 44:11Speaker 1: was good in Arizona for a while. Like it's not
- 44:13Speaker 1: like he was a bad coach.
- 44:14Speaker 3: And I don't know if it really matters, but he's
- 44:15Speaker 3: a Texas guy from there he is.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I guess so any coach Texas Texas. Yeah,
- 44:21Speaker 1: Cliff's a good one. Casey, I think killing Moore, that's
- 44:25Speaker 1: that's my guy too. Who I think he's been there
- 44:28Speaker 1: knows But what did he do? He was a coordinator? Yeah,
- 44:32Speaker 1: I don't know. We want I think he was handcut
- 44:33Speaker 1: there too, wasn't he? You would rather have Ron Rivera,
- 44:36Speaker 1: who we love, who's older. His ceiling is not that high.
- 44:40Speaker 1: You bring Rivera into fix your program like Washington did
- 44:43Speaker 1: like when it's just in disarray.
- 44:45Speaker 4: We said there were a lot of questionable offensive coordinator
- 44:48Speaker 4: calls when he was with the Cowboys and even now
- 44:50Speaker 4: with the Eagles. I don't think he's killing it with Eagles.
- 44:52Speaker 4: I think the Eagles have the tools.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Or in the NFC Championship.
- 44:56Speaker 4: And I'm not crediting the OC for that. Why not
- 45:00Speaker 4: credit Hurts? I credit Brown?
- 45:03Speaker 1: Those two people you're crediting. What side of the ball?
- 45:06Speaker 4: What side of the ball are the execution Wait, they're
- 45:10Speaker 4: the executioners.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Well, that would be killers. They were murdering people, they're
- 45:13Speaker 1: the ones that execute it. So my question is what
- 45:17Speaker 1: side of the ball of those three on offensive side
- 45:19Speaker 1: of the ball.
- 45:20Speaker 3: It's like a little kid.
- 45:22Speaker 4: I don't buy it. And how old is Kellen Morey?
- 45:24Speaker 4: Looks like he's ten?
- 45:25Speaker 1: Yeah, me to Ron, he's older that fourteen. I think
- 45:30Speaker 1: Kellen Moore would be a good pick.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good one too. Or Joe Brady's another one.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, Joe Brady would be good. Again, all these
- 45:37Speaker 1: guys are playing, right, Joe Brady's not playing.
- 45:39Speaker 4: I saw Buffalo talking.
- 45:41Speaker 1: They're not talking about Yeah, where did that come from?
- 45:44Speaker 1: Not talking about the Cowboys.
- 45:45Speaker 4: It's weird the Cowboys posts on Instagram who they've interviewed.
- 45:49Speaker 1: They have to everybody, every table to do that.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I think you just follow the Cowboys.
- 45:54Speaker 4: They said they went and interviewed Yeah.
- 45:56Speaker 1: I heard they talked to Whitton while they still had
- 45:58Speaker 1: McCarthy from my sources about a job with the Cowboys
- 46:02Speaker 1: with McCarthy more than specifically a head coaching job.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Oh.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Now, Also, you can interview somebody even if you don't
- 46:09Speaker 1: plan on hiring them, just to see where they are
- 46:11Speaker 1: in their maturation of in their coaching maturation. Sure, because
- 46:14Speaker 1: possibly you bring them in in a different role or
- 46:17Speaker 1: you learn whether they're about if they take a different job.
- 46:19Speaker 1: So it's why the Rooney rule exists, meaning the NFL
- 46:24Speaker 1: doesn't say, go and you must hire a black coach.
- 46:27Speaker 1: They're saying, if followed properly, if you interview a certain
- 46:30Speaker 1: amount of black coaches, what's going to happen is you're
- 46:33Speaker 1: going to have an understanding of what they're about, how
- 46:36Speaker 1: intelligent they are, how great of a head coach they
- 46:38Speaker 1: may be now or maybe in the future. You form
- 46:41Speaker 1: this relationship to any person forms with another person through
- 46:44Speaker 1: a process, and that if you don't hire them then
- 46:48Speaker 1: the next time around possibly or for another position, or
- 46:51Speaker 1: you recommend them to somebody else who's hiring a coach. Right,
- 46:54Speaker 1: it's all about relationships and not just as humans, but
- 46:57Speaker 1: understanding where these coaches are intellectually. So the same thing
- 47:05Speaker 1: with Jason Witten. There's no chance he's a head coach
- 47:07Speaker 1: that can, right.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Eddie George interviewed for Parage. And I know he's been
- 47:12Speaker 3: a head coach. He's been for a little while now
- 47:14Speaker 3: here in Tennessee. But that was random.
- 47:16Speaker 4: What school does he coach at?
- 47:17Speaker 1: He coaches here.
- 47:18Speaker 3: At Middle Tennessee State, Tennessee State.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's HBCU. You didn't know he was a head coach.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Didn't know it for years. Yeah, I didn't know that.
- 47:25Speaker 4: I thought it's just chilling, chilling with his millions of dollars.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I did run into in New York once. He was
- 47:29Speaker 1: super nice, but he had no idea who it was.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I never expect anybody to know who I am. For
- 47:33Speaker 1: the record, and I think I've mentioned this before. I
- 47:36Speaker 1: just see him standing outside the hotel that I was
- 47:38Speaker 1: in and I'm like hey, And I might have said hey, Eddie,
- 47:42Speaker 1: I didn't. It's a weird thing because if I call
- 47:45Speaker 1: him mister George, I'm an adult like him, and I
- 47:48Speaker 1: never want someone to be like this guy thinks I'm
- 47:50Speaker 1: one hundred, because I don't ever want to be like
- 47:52Speaker 1: mister George. And this guy's like Eddie's like Eddie George
- 47:55Speaker 1: Worth's names is like, why is he calling me mister?
- 47:58Speaker 1: And he's my age, so that could feel like it
- 48:00Speaker 1: could be a bit disrespectful. So I think I might
- 48:02Speaker 1: have said hey, Eddie George, which is also weird to
- 48:04Speaker 1: call someone by their full names, and then when you
- 48:07Speaker 1: do that, you're automatically a fan, which I was, But
- 48:11Speaker 1: there's no chance that you're going to then have a
- 48:13Speaker 1: conversation as peers, because if I'm like, hey, Eddie George,
- 48:18Speaker 1: he's not going to be like, I'd like to tell
- 48:20Speaker 1: you some secrets about Mike. So I was just like, hey,
- 48:24Speaker 1: Eddie George said hey, I live in Nashville. Really nice
- 48:27Speaker 1: to me. Whatever I just said, something may have said
- 48:30Speaker 1: like big fan or something, and he was like, oh great.
- 48:33Speaker 1: And then I was like, let me just test the waters,
- 48:36Speaker 1: and I was like, yeah, it's Bobby Bones, I do it.
- 48:38Speaker 1: And I could tell when I said that I didn't
- 48:40Speaker 1: even need to say what I did. He did not
- 48:41Speaker 1: know who I was, so then I just kind of
- 48:43Speaker 1: gave up. I was like, I do okay anyway, hey man,
- 48:48Speaker 1: he was super nice, but I had no idea and
- 48:50Speaker 1: he's having success and it's pretty cool see the Bears
- 48:54Speaker 1: interview him, which hopefully turns into something because they didn't
- 48:57Speaker 1: hire him. Also to a great about the Rooney rule
- 49:00Speaker 1: is maybe again the Bears have their list of coaches
- 49:05Speaker 1: they want to hire, and you bring in somebody and
- 49:08Speaker 1: you don't get your first one, two or three, and
- 49:11Speaker 1: you brought in somebody because of the Rooney rule, and
- 49:13Speaker 1: all of a sudden you're like, you know what if
- 49:14Speaker 1: we're like our draft board, I'll take this guy at
- 49:19Speaker 1: four and then one, two and three fall and you're like,
- 49:21Speaker 1: oh yeah, I really was. We weren't gonna interview him
- 49:23Speaker 1: because we didn't think we'd need to fall down three spots,
- 49:26Speaker 1: and now we have it. I'm fan of it sometimes
- 49:28Speaker 1: cheat though.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 49:30Speaker 1: They they're like, does anybody know nine black people?
- 49:35Speaker 3: And the check?
- 49:36Speaker 1: I feel like the pictures did that dude this year.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Just posted it as Byron left which and Pap Hamilton,
- 49:44Speaker 3: and I was like this is super random. I know
- 49:46Speaker 3: what they're doing.
- 49:48Speaker 1: I feel like Robert Kraft was like, uh, what black
- 49:51Speaker 1: people are nearby football? I need to interview them real quick?
- 49:54Speaker 4: Them in here.
- 49:55Speaker 1: But again, even that could turn into something later on.
- 49:58Speaker 1: So I'm I am a proponent of Rooney rule, but
- 50:00Speaker 1: it is funny to see people cheat it real quick
- 50:03Speaker 1: and just go who we get?
- 50:04Speaker 4: Yeah? What is just that the whole joke?
- 50:08Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 50:10Speaker 4: Crobber crap.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Sean. You know any black people? Can you get here
- 50:16Speaker 1: real quick? We need to tweet out. We've talked a
- 50:18Speaker 1: few of them. But at the same time, I could
- 50:20Speaker 1: turn into something. Okay, Mike, one more break yep, okay,
- 50:24Speaker 1: boom eddie yo. I watched chiefs Aholic. Oh come on, dude,
- 50:35Speaker 1: talk to me. So chiefs Aholic is a I didn't
- 50:37Speaker 1: know it was going to be two hours. Is a
- 50:39Speaker 1: two hour documentary I think I did watching two days
- 50:42Speaker 1: I watched I broke it up watching one. It's a
- 50:44Speaker 1: two hour documentary about the Chiefs fan who rob Banks
- 50:49Speaker 1: to go to away games. How bad it looks like
- 50:54Speaker 1: his name is Xavier. He was telling his lawyer. He
- 50:57Speaker 1: was like, it's like Caviar.
- 50:59Speaker 4: Exactly like, Okay, Xavier, I completely ignored it, bro.
- 51:06Speaker 1: So this is I think, regardless of anything that I say,
- 51:10Speaker 1: because it's tough to do a spoiler free when talking
- 51:12Speaker 1: about a documentary because it's history. Yeah, and it's not
- 51:16Speaker 1: like this crazy plot. But I'm gonna talk about some
- 51:18Speaker 1: of the crazy stuff in it, but I'm gonna leave
- 51:20Speaker 1: some stuff out. It's worth watching, Dude. It's insane, it's excellent,
- 51:26Speaker 1: it's and and you know what it has every I
- 51:29Speaker 1: felt bad for him becaol. Yeah. And again I don't
- 51:34Speaker 1: know Chiefs Kingdom enough to even know who he was.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Maybe i'd seen him on television a couple of times
- 51:40Speaker 1: when they show them crazy fans, those Chiefs Kingdom people
- 51:44Speaker 1: like most fans, I think the only fan that I
- 51:46Speaker 1: know is Fireman D whatever his name is. Yeah, yeah,
- 51:50Speaker 1: I think that's the only like super fan that is
- 51:53Speaker 1: not being paid that I can identify. Can you guys
- 51:55Speaker 1: identify any others.
- 51:57Speaker 4: The Raiders guys?
- 51:58Speaker 1: No, But I need to identify it is my point,
- 52:01Speaker 1: because I can think of like little groups like the
- 52:02Speaker 1: Browns have the dog pounds, but Fireman D is like
- 52:06Speaker 1: the one guy that I know.
- 52:08Speaker 3: There's a Clippers guy, a clipper ed. I think it's
- 52:10Speaker 3: no maybe I'm just taking a fireman ned but I think.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Sandygo Chicken. So I didn't know him, but he was,
- 52:21Speaker 1: for all intents and purposes, the most famous of the
- 52:24Speaker 1: Kansas City Chiefs super fans. The crazy thing is he
- 52:27Speaker 1: never had his face out as far as when he
- 52:30Speaker 1: was at the games. For the most part, he wore
- 52:31Speaker 1: a full wolf costume, covering his face full head to toe.
- 52:33Speaker 1: He's a wolf. His best friends just knew his voice
- 52:37Speaker 1: because he would never take the mascot. Really yeah, well
- 52:40Speaker 1: his his football friends, football friends. He didn't like wear
- 52:43Speaker 1: it ones. Yes, so he was chief saholic. Social media
- 52:51Speaker 1: following he ran warehouses and that time he made his
- 52:55Speaker 1: money to travel. As they started to peel it back,
- 52:59Speaker 1: you realize he really didn't do any of that that
- 53:01Speaker 1: he kept. He gambled a lot, big gambled. I was
- 53:06Speaker 1: rooting for him too. Time, like had a problem. It
- 53:09Speaker 1: got to be a problem. But he he lived out
- 53:13Speaker 1: of his car's that who family lived out of their
- 53:15Speaker 1: car like grew up terrible situation like this is how
- 53:21Speaker 1: he was able to find acceptance was being a part
- 53:24Speaker 1: of Chief's kingdom and being this character still lived out
- 53:26Speaker 1: of his car, lived out of his car, and then
- 53:28Speaker 1: robbed out of his car, like that's the car that
- 53:31Speaker 1: he drove to the games and so, but found such
- 53:34Speaker 1: acceptance in people celebrating him for being Chief Saholic that
- 53:38Speaker 1: he wanted to grow chiefs Aholic and make it bigger
- 53:41Speaker 1: and be everywhere and how do you continue this lifestyle?
- 53:43Speaker 1: How do you be? And that's the bad decision that
- 53:46Speaker 1: he made was in order to find what was missing
- 53:50Speaker 1: in him. It was rob Banks, very entrepreneurial. He had
- 53:57Speaker 1: it too, he did. He would have never been caught.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Had he had it, he would like drop things like
- 54:02Speaker 1: he did so many. They didn't even know to look
- 54:05Speaker 1: at some of these banks he robbed until after the
- 54:08Speaker 1: fact when they he had it.
- 54:11Speaker 3: He like, would not every single one? I mean, I
- 54:13Speaker 3: don't know if this gives up too much, but not
- 54:14Speaker 3: everyone was like, no, confession. I started it, But why
- 54:19Speaker 3: is that a confession? Because I couldn't watch it?
- 54:21Speaker 1: Why, Okay, that's stupid.
- 54:27Speaker 3: Five minutes then I was like, I can't watch this crap.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Does he does he go in there? Does he go
- 54:33Speaker 3: in there like with a gun every time?
- 54:34Speaker 1: Or no?
- 54:35Speaker 3: Is it like secret? Or does that give it too much.
- 54:37Speaker 1: I don't think that's a bad thing to share. He
- 54:40Speaker 1: make it some baby gun. It looks like a gun now,
- 54:44Speaker 1: but he sticks them up. Every toll puts it in
- 54:46Speaker 1: their chest. He does a real bank robbery, and he's
- 54:49Speaker 1: good at it. Jumps the counter, puts it at him,
- 54:52Speaker 1: knows exactly the big bills to get, like he became
- 54:55Speaker 1: so efficient at it.
- 54:57Speaker 4: He says, no small bills. He knows what he's doing.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Okay, he'd unsuccessfully so many times. Yeah, I don't think
- 55:03Speaker 1: you ever would have in cod except for a couple
- 55:04Speaker 1: like the one that got him was the final I
- 55:09Speaker 1: mean obviously the final one in Oklahoma, the Bixby Oklahoma
- 55:12Speaker 1: won and then after they have them though, and when
- 55:14Speaker 1: they start to track back all the other ones. But
- 55:16Speaker 1: I felt bad for him in a way of like
- 55:17Speaker 1: his mom still lived out of a car, like very sad,
- 55:22Speaker 1: very very sad upbringing.
- 55:24Speaker 3: So the deeper meaning of it is a sad story. Yeah,
- 55:27Speaker 3: like what is?
- 55:28Speaker 1: But the sad doesn't win, the stupid wins the sad
- 55:32Speaker 1: It gives you a three D. This is a real
- 55:35Speaker 1: life human who had some circumstances that were terrible and
- 55:39Speaker 1: then made some bad decisions and doubled down on those
- 55:41Speaker 1: bad decisions, and there comes a point where you have
- 55:44Speaker 1: to go, man, everybody coming from such a tragic background
- 55:48Speaker 1: didn't make all these bad decisions. But there's an understanding
- 55:51Speaker 1: of why someone would do this. Like he was taken
- 55:55Speaker 1: away from his mom as a kid and put in
- 55:57Speaker 1: a foster home because that when they did have a house,
- 56:00Speaker 1: I've be an apartment that were like, this situation is
- 56:03Speaker 1: so bad to live in. You you're not able to
- 56:05Speaker 1: live with your mom. So he gets put in a
- 56:07Speaker 1: foster kit. So all of that is what created chiefs Aholic,
- 56:11Speaker 1: because he wanted to have a purpose and wanted to
- 56:13Speaker 1: have an identity, and then it got to where he
- 56:16Speaker 1: wanted to fuel this identity, fund it. He wanted to
- 56:19Speaker 1: be at every game. But then he starts betting it money.
- 56:23Speaker 1: He figures out also smart guy in that he figures
- 56:27Speaker 1: out how to rob banks, but he also figures out
- 56:29Speaker 1: how to wash money. What do you say money and
- 56:34Speaker 1: like going to casinos and like to getting out a
- 56:36Speaker 1: bunch of chips, he like launder And I've not said
- 56:40Speaker 1: a third of what's in that documentary. I loved how
- 56:45Speaker 1: entertained I was by it. I felt bad for him,
- 56:48Speaker 1: but also and you can watch it to see what
- 56:49Speaker 1: happens at the very very end. He has a lawyer too,
- 56:53Speaker 1: and I remember this happening in real life where he
- 56:55Speaker 1: would come out and be like, I believe this is
- 56:57Speaker 1: only the first drive of the day, and it's first
- 57:00Speaker 1: and ten and by the end of this, when we
- 57:01Speaker 1: score a touchdown. All his references are like football.
- 57:05Speaker 4: When he's talking about the case. He's talking about the
- 57:07Speaker 4: case but uses football term.
- 57:08Speaker 1: It looks like spanky from a little rat, like a
- 57:14Speaker 1: little nerdy man. And then at the end and a
- 57:17Speaker 1: shocking twist, did you oh yeah, shocking. Yes, he's like
- 57:22Speaker 1: the biggest nerd. He's like the biggest nerd ever, biggest
- 57:25Speaker 1: nerd goober, and he takes his shirt off. He's got
- 57:27Speaker 1: a whole sleeve tattoo.
- 57:31Speaker 4: I exactly what you're talking about, that.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Man, mean when I took away most from it, Spanky
- 57:35Speaker 1: tattoos all in his arm. It's good.
- 57:39Speaker 4: It's like I was wondering too, like, how is this
- 57:41Speaker 4: guy going to defend it? Chiefs Ahola and his angles
- 57:45Speaker 4: were so funny.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Well, yeah, they had a big board and they were like,
- 57:48Speaker 1: but it's worth watching. I don't think I've spoiled so
- 57:53Speaker 1: much of it it's not worth watching. I only watched
- 57:55Speaker 1: it because I was like, I don't want edit to
- 57:56Speaker 1: keep going being disappointed in me for not watching.
- 57:59Speaker 4: Were you impressed with just the footage that they had, Oh,
- 58:02Speaker 4: just awesome, Like it should win an award. I don't
- 58:04Speaker 4: know what award is.
- 58:07Speaker 3: Bank robbing footage or everything.
- 58:09Speaker 4: Just the footage that they're able to get, Like, I
- 58:11Speaker 4: don't think you could really do a documentary and understand
- 58:14Speaker 4: who this guy was if you didn't have that footage.
- 58:16Speaker 1: And not just bank all social media, from all of
- 58:19Speaker 1: his jews, all, I mean everything, his car. His move was,
- 58:24Speaker 1: he'd go rob on his basically on foot, jump on
- 58:27Speaker 1: a bike, and then be riding a bike around. And
- 58:29Speaker 1: then it was like mid December of five degree day
- 58:32Speaker 1: and there's a dude riding his bike around a neighborhood
- 58:34Speaker 1: and the comps like, well that's not normal, like nobody
- 58:37Speaker 1: uit and he crushes some bets to I'm sure you
- 58:46Speaker 1: know you never see what anybody fully bets. He crushes
- 58:48Speaker 1: some bets where you root for him to and you
- 58:50Speaker 1: root against him. But it's good watch Chiefs of Hall,
- 58:53Speaker 1: like I watched on Amazon. I think that's where it is. Yeah, Amazon,
- 58:56Speaker 1: what do you rate it? If I were to rate
- 58:58Speaker 1: it to my wife for her to watch it, I
- 59:00Speaker 1: would say three and a half out of five for her.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Do you think she would not and three and a half?
- 59:05Speaker 1: I think I think she'd be She'd be like, Okay,
- 59:07Speaker 1: this is kind of entertaining for us. Four and a
- 59:09Speaker 1: half out of five. There's so much. There's bank robbery,
- 59:12Speaker 1: there's football, there's betting, there's all the stuff. The way
- 59:17Speaker 1: the way the fans talk it made me feel like
- 59:20Speaker 1: such a loser.
- 59:20Speaker 4: It's so funny, dude.
- 59:22Speaker 1: Also, I felt like a loser after the documentary was
- 59:26Speaker 1: over because they're such losers all all of Chief's Kingdom,
- 59:32Speaker 1: these massive die hard fans, Like they have cars that
- 59:35Speaker 1: are like Chiefs. They dedicate their whole life to it. Yeah,
- 59:38Speaker 1: they have They have ball, every signed ball from every
- 59:41Speaker 1: third string right guard behind them and they're like, it's
- 59:45Speaker 1: all I live for and them my head on the go. Man,
- 59:46Speaker 1: he's got such losers. Now I look in the mirror
- 59:48Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh no, that's me. Looks like it's
- 59:52Speaker 1: not even the room. It's just I invest so much
- 59:54Speaker 1: emotionally yes. Then I caught myself going, I'm so glad
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I'm not a loser like them. Well wait, and then
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: how much I am a loser like them? Not as
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: outward at times, but I am. And so I felt
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: like such a loser, and I had the world talk
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to myself, maybe you care twelve percent less because you
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: looked at somebody else that you don't know from a
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: distance and went, oh my god, I'm glad I'm not them.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: It turns out you're very much like them.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: But you're never like I mean, I see the guys
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: in the Patriots game that are all face paying at
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: the games, and all of sudden, I'm like, dude, what
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: are you doing?
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I hear you.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: I yeah, that's not you. Bones you in a different.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Way though, right like my emotions. I've said this before,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I don't experience rage in my life ever, ever, ever,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: unless it's a loss, a bad loss. That's when I
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: see red. I it can run a whole day, two days,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: it can.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I wanted to get rich so I could spend money
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: to help the program like that was one of my goals.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: That shouldn't be one of your goals as a kid,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: to be able to be rich so you can like
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: go to games and spend money to help the team.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: That's pretty cool though.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: It's awesome. But that's why I'm like watching that movie, going, oh,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: there's such lose, so my I don't want to chet.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: But it's just a little perspective. But I think you
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: guys should watch it.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: No Pressurevin, you got to suck it up and watch it.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: It's good though, It's good real quick. Next year's national
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: championship odds five six. We'll go seven down. Seventh down
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: is Notre Dame. But plus sixteen hundred, six is Alabama
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: plus twelve hundred. Fifth is Penn State plus nine hundred.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Fourth is Oregon plus seven to fifty. Third is Georgia.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Plus five point fifty. Two is Texas plus five hundred
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: and a very close one is Ohio State again a
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: plus four to fifty. That's from DraftKings. They're banking on arch.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Let's say you got Texas is the only one I
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: know the quarterback. I mean a lot can happen till then.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: But great point. I think Oregon's quarterback. We all know
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: who that's going to be. Whoever they can buy for
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: the most amount of money. For another team that's also
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: ye quarterback. That's what they've done the last couple of times. Yep.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: And there's nothing illegal about it. No effective true in
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Alabama probably the same way. Yeah, I mean Jayleen mil
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Milrose declared for the draft, right, I don't know, I'm
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: almost positively declared. And if he didn't, he's I'm sure
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I'll transfer. Yeah, Notre Dame. We know their quarterback because
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: he's coming back, right, is he?
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: I know, I think Riley Leonard's done.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Is he a senior? Yeah? Huh Oh. The those two
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: quarterbacks last night are the same person.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: They're both like large, a little dobe be able to distinguish,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: ye coward. They both Yeah, they both run a little bit.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: They're sneaky, athletic.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: They're like kind of both looking white guys.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Yeah, corn bread, chubby faces, like like they'd be fun
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: to hang out with.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: Like you'll see him in ten years and be like, dude,
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: this guy and then you're like, well, actually he's quarterback
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: for Ohio State.
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: When you're buying a car.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I don't know, dude, I think both of those guys
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: could be NFL guys. Oh yeah, Their frame, their frames
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: are both massive, they can move, they can throw like
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: they just look they like they shouldn't be They're just
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: like they're having too much fun out there. But I
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: like them both. I like both of those quarterbacks when
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: I watched them, because they just they look like they
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: shouldn't be great super athletic quarterbacks. But they're like sneaky athletic.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: But maybe just because they're white, they're sneaky. Yeah. But
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: also their faces are a little like a little chubby.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: Facey, a little chubby face full.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Okay, I like it.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, yeah you did declare, Jayln Millerrode.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I do declare.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: I do declare.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: All right, that's it, Thank you everybody. I think we've
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: said it all. Eddie gets some medicine for your arm
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: mouth guard fit. Now I'm gonna go to the dinner
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: going there, which is very much the same as your
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: same thing, man, same thing read good. Yeah, Man said
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: a lot. You can't through with one strong point though,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I know, dude, I knew was that. I don't remember,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: but I remember it was good when he said it.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: What you said.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Alabama said something earlier and we were like, oh, it's
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: a good point. Oh fifty versus the hot Oh yeah,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: that was a good one. That's a good one. That's
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: a good one. Kevin, ye get a little match today.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Uh yeah, that's fun.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Yeah we will, guys, good guys. I don't have a
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: dog in the in the fight because I like both teams.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I like the Patriots, I like them. Then I love
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: a dynasty. I like the Chiefs. Now, I love a dynasty.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: It's so rare. We get to witness greatness, and I
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: can understand having fatigue of it. But my only point
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: was Mahomes. Mahomes gets all of these calls because he
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: stands on the shoulders of Tom Brady, who is the one, Yes,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: who is the one who.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: Brady stands on his shoulders?
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: But yeah, he possibly couldn't.
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: It's before just kidding.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Mahomes gets his because Brady established the law of I'm
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: the number one, I deserve preferential treatment, and they both
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: do because if they get hurt, those entire franchises are
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: wiped out. The NFL most marketable players abcd FG, but
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: they're the same, and I can't wait for the Chiefs
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: to be the best all time.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: Three in a row, so easy to come from, like
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: when you don't have a dog in the fight.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I get that right, because I'm just presenting logic.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: Yeah, he's got a clearer picture.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Yes, there is no bias here.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: That's why I love culture.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: And it will be the greatest dynasty, three in a
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: row that's ever been seen in the history of the NFL.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: You know what, screw Chiefs Kingdom on party Kingdom. All right,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: we're done. We'll see guys later on this week. Bye, Buddy, Get.
