0:02
Hey, guys. Welcome to the live stream.
0:04
Thank you. Yes, you for being here today.
0:07
There is no Ron's Basement community without people, and
0:11
that includes you. You're #1.
0:14
Thank you for being here, man. We have so much going on in the
0:18
precious metal sector. Take a deep breath.
0:21
Silver up over $2.00 per oz over the last two days.
0:27
Can you believe it, Right. I mean, if we told you that, if
0:31
you had told me that just a few short weeks ago, a few short
0:34
months ago, we would not have believed it And we have so much
0:38
to cover. Today we're going to talk about
0:40
gold as well. But what are the billionaires
0:44
saying? Yes, we have new shocking
0:46
information from one of the world's richest people about
0:50
gold in particular. And you know when they talk
0:53
about gold, they're talking about silver as well, because
0:56
gold is the godfather of the precious metals.
1:00
Gold is the godfather of the anti Fiat, Unicorn, fart dust,
1:06
fractional reserve banking system, whatever you want to
1:09
call it. So when the billionaires talk
1:11
about gold, they are indeed talking about silver as well.
1:16
I also have a lot of information from some of the bullion
1:21
industry insiders, OK, people that work at coin shops, people
1:25
that work at the big online bullion dealers and even more
1:30
that we're going to talk about that will impact the price of
1:33
silver and gold because that's what we want to learn about the
1:36
real value, what is going on out there?
1:39
We're going to cover it also 13 times silver.
1:44
Does that make you curious, 13 *.
1:47
I uncovered a piece of data related to the silver market in
1:52
a in a in a in a comparative manner that will knock your
1:57
socks off 13 times. Yeah, So let's dig right in here
2:00
guys. Gold over $2300.
2:04
I know we're fluctuating around around there today, maybe 2990
2:08
when we came on, but there are massive moves going on.
2:12
Look, I'm not Tooting my own horn and I'm not right.
2:17
You can ask Susie, my wife. I'm wrong.
2:19
Often times more than I'm right. But we talked about in the
2:23
basement how we could see $2600 gold by May.
2:27
I made that far out prediction months and months ago.
2:32
I'm sticking with it. Even back then, I said I didn't
2:35
believe I wouldn't make any big bets that we would get to 2600
2:39
by May. But isn't it starting to feel
2:41
like it's moving into the realm of possibilities?
2:45
We'll see, right? I went out on a limb and made
2:47
that prediction back then. Based upon my analysis, based
2:51
upon my gut feeling, looking at the technicals, looking at the
2:54
fundamentals, where do you think the price of gold will be by
2:58
May? Put it in the comment section.
3:00
Do you think we can get to 2600? Do you think we'll be down close
3:04
to 2000? Look, anything is within the
3:06
realm of possibilities, but let's talk about something
3:09
fascinating about this major move in the silver market.
3:15
We've also had a big, major move in the gold market.
3:19
We need to remember 2 critical things about this move that are
3:23
actually very supportive, very positive as we move into the
3:28
coming months, quarters and years.
3:31
It's all been based on fundamentals, OK?
3:34
We have not had, we've not had a big event that erupted a new
3:39
war, a new economic Black Swan that came onto the scene.
3:44
If you felt that, have you noticed that that this big move
3:47
in gold and now silver starting to follow it feels like very
3:53
steady. It's not been a big, massive
3:55
spike. Out of nowhere, They say, Oh
3:58
well, gold spiked because this happened because Russia invaded
4:02
Ukraine. No, that happened two years ago.
4:04
What? It's what it's felt like here
4:06
over the last few weeks, few months in particular for gold is
4:10
a slow, steady stair step. Move up.
4:14
And that's a very good thing when it comes to building a new
4:18
base, Building a new floor, A floor right like this.
4:24
We want a floor like the concrete floor here in the
4:26
basement. We want a floor under gold at
4:30
2100. We want a floor under gold at
4:33
2200. We want a floor to be built at
4:38
2300 stair stepping up. And the fact that this has not
4:42
been just a big sudden spike up in the price of the metals, I
4:47
think that's a very, very good sign.
4:50
We know the real value of silver.
4:53
We know the real value of gold. And we know that as we move
4:57
through the rest of the year, we could continue to see the stair
5:01
step higher and higher. Silver guys look pulled back a
5:05
little bit this morning right before I came on.
5:08
You know what, let's run out to, let's run out to channel sponsor
5:11
pin backs quickly to get a update on the silver and gold
5:16
price. Here we go, Gold.
5:21
Wow, have you noticed this lately?
5:24
Like the gold price gets smashed down, but it seems to come
5:27
fighting back on most days. It's not going to happen every
5:30
single day. Guys, we will get a pullback.
5:33
OK? We will get pullbacks.
5:35
We've been very spoiled lately. But man, aren't the precious
5:39
metals prices showing unbelievable resilience in the
5:44
face of adversity? Right.
5:45
Look at silver only down $0.03 per oz.
5:48
And while we're here, let's all say thank you, the channel
5:52
sponsor, Pimbex Pi MB EXI. Love to say it, I love to spell
5:59
it. But what I love even more is
6:01
that when I buy metal from Pimbex, I always get more metal
6:06
for my money. Look, you can go to their
6:08
website here, right in front of you, just like I am now, and
6:11
learn for yourself. They have a great selection and
6:16
they have ultra competitive prices.
6:18
I've always found that when I compare Pinbex prices to other
6:22
online bullion dealers, I get more metal for my money at
6:26
Pinbex. And as a big added bonus and
6:30
actually something that should be very utmost important to
6:33
anyone buying silver, gold, Platinum, any online precious
6:37
metal purchase is that it's a company I can trust.
6:40
I worked with them before they became a sponsor of Ron's
6:44
Basement and I consider it a big honor that they sponsor the
6:47
channel. I'm not going to tell you what
6:49
to do, but I would recommend at least give Pembex a shot next
6:55
time you are looking to buy bullion online.
6:58
I think Pembex is best and I think you will too.
7:01
Let's move on here. Big report out of The Economic
7:04
Times talking, telling us that the price of silver and gold
7:10
could continue marching forward. The Economic Times actually
7:14
saying and now everyone's picking up on this.
7:17
I'm telling you, silver, do you? Silver could be in for a major
7:22
big ride because even The Economic Times said that it's
7:25
very likely as we move through the rest of the year that silver
7:29
could outperform gold. Stop.
7:32
Stop. Breaking news.
7:35
Can you believe that we have silver near $27.00 per oz?
7:39
I was sitting last night and I and it it like dawned on me.
7:44
Does it ever happened to you? Something dawns on you.
7:47
We have $27.00 silver. I know that's nowhere near where
7:53
we believe silver will head because I'm a firm believer.
7:57
I spoke with Jordan Roy Byrne yesterday, one of the smartest
8:01
analysts out there, right. He's pointing out right when
8:04
silver, this is textbook technical analysis that when
8:08
silver does break out, we could, we could see right this move to
8:13
$50 silver and then a move to 95 or even $100 silver can happen
8:18
very quickly. And we're happy right now.
8:21
Are you happy? I'm happy.
8:23
Are you happy? Tell you know what, I'm going to
8:26
put it in the chat. I'm going to ask you to
8:27
participate. I am happy and I'm trying to
8:31
type. Here we go with $27 silver.
8:37
Yeah, thank you. Supplemental dinner.
8:39
I'm Jordan. Roy Byrne is a super cool, very
8:44
nice and very, very intelligent person.
8:48
I'll have an interview coming out with him here in the next
8:50
few days if you want to learn, right.
8:52
This guy was so nice to explain a lot of things to me.
8:56
One of the things that he explained to me about the silver
8:59
and gold market and resistance is that it's really all
9:03
essentially about supply and demand.
9:05
And guys, when we get above resistance, when we get into the
9:09
mid 30s on the silver price, nobody, I mean nobody, Do I have
9:15
to yell it. Nobody is going to want to sell
9:19
their silver because everybody that has silver.
9:23
And when silver gets to $34, when things go into new high
9:27
territory and this is just my opinion, you can disagree with
9:30
me, but in my book when we get above 28, thirty $233 per oz
9:36
silver, that's basically a new all time high for all intensive
9:40
purposes. My mom used to say that to me or
9:43
my dad, one of them for all intensive purposes.
9:46
Ronald, we're at all time new, new high, right?
9:50
Nobody's going to want to sell. And we're going to have all
9:53
these new, what do they call lemmings?
9:55
I don't know. Sheeple the sheeple.
9:57
Not you, not me, Right. We already have our silver,
10:01
right? We already have our precious
10:03
metal mining stocks. We already maybe you have gold.
10:06
OK, whatever. You already got it.
10:08
You already have it when the sheeple show up.
10:15
I heard on CNBC that silver's a good investment.
10:20
They stopped talking about Bitcoin for a few seconds.
10:23
It's going to. Nope.
10:24
Nobody's going to want to be selling.
10:26
There's going to be limited supply and big demand, OK, be be
10:32
ready for it, OK? They've already been sucking all
10:35
the extra excess from these deficits out of the out of the
10:38
above ground surplus for the last number of years.
10:41
It has the prospect to become very, very, very interesting for
10:46
you basement dwellers, right. Remember, I'm on a concrete
10:50
floor. Uh oh, somebody's calling me a
10:53
spam call. Sorry about that.
10:56
It has the prospects to become crazy interesting.
11:00
All right. Over the next couple years.
11:02
And I was talking with Keith Neumar day before last.
11:05
Right. Right.
11:06
The the the one of the leaders in the precious metal sector.
11:10
And he reminded me of something and and I'm going to remind you
11:13
of this and this is going to make you feel good, this better,
11:16
make you feel good basement dwellers.
11:18
If it doesn't send me an e-mail. But but think about this.
11:23
We have not, most of us have not experienced a long term bull
11:27
market in the metals. And he talked about this period
11:31
from about 2002 through about 2011, 2012 where it was a long
11:36
term bull market right member, stair steps up, stair steps up.
11:41
And he said, yeah, sure, there were times when there were pull
11:43
backs during that period. We thought, oh it's over, it's
11:46
done, you know. But then sure enough, the metals
11:48
came roaring back and a lot of people made a lot of money.
11:53
And we're not just in this for the money.
11:54
I know you and me like you know, we like the security aspect, the
11:58
safety, the safe harbor component, the precious metals.
12:02
But my gosh, don't forget guys, it it can happen.
12:06
We can have a 10 year and eight-year, a four year heck A2
12:12
year at this point we'll be happy with anything bull market
12:16
in these metals and you know the fundamental factors supporting
12:20
it all. All right, let's move on.
12:22
We got so much to talk about. Let's talk about the most
12:24
important fact right now and that is that it's a big deal
12:28
that you join me here in the basement.
12:31
I really appreciate it. On behalf of myself, Susie, on
12:34
behalf of the moderators, thank you for being here.
12:37
Please give this a thumbs up. You can share the video with
12:40
your friends if you like. We want to get the word out to
12:43
more and more people. And please, if you haven't
12:45
subscribed to the channel, super chats are always super
12:50
appreciated. Never expected.
12:52
I never want you to donate any money to Ron's Basement that you
12:56
can't afford to donate. I hope you have credit card,
12:58
debt, whatever. Pay that off 1st, all right,
13:01
before you donate any money to me, but it is super appreciated
13:04
now. It's OK.
13:06
It's not. This does not feel spiky, does
13:10
it does. Move up.
13:11
All right. We talked about it.
13:13
It's based more on fundamentals, which is a very good thing, very
13:17
good thing in the long term and all this.
13:19
I'm going to give you a little insight here, OK.
13:22
You can basically at this point ignore all this BS talk there
13:28
about the Federal Reserve and interest rate hikes, and then
13:31
when are they going to raise rates, blah, blah blah.
13:33
It doesn't matter anymore. Guys, I'm telling you this is my
13:36
opinion, all right? And I know it's not a popular
13:39
opinion, but it doesn't matter anymore.
13:41
What matters is 1 darn thing for the value of silver and gold
13:47
that you own one darn thing. And that is the fact that the
13:51
real value, not the nominal value, not the DXY, the real
13:56
real value of the dollar will continue to go down.
14:00
I don't like it. I didn't 'cause it.
14:02
You didn't 'cause it, OK, we're not we're not anti American.
14:07
We know how to work a calculator and no matter what smoke and
14:11
mirrors, oh we're going to raise rates or the feds going to raise
14:14
rates three times or lower rates whatever, blah blah.
14:17
And the and the odds of it happening in June or this and it
14:20
sure it's all short term noise because in the long run
14:25
unfortunately because of irresponsibility by our leaders
14:30
in Washington and that's a fact and I'm not afraid to say that
14:33
irresponsible fiscal and monetary policy.
14:38
There's only one thing that's going to happen to the US dollar
14:41
and that is it's going to lose its purchasing power.
14:44
It's going to lose its real value, right.
14:48
Not nominal, There's a difference.
14:49
Nominal is just a number. Hey $100 bill is $100 bill
14:54
right. Five years ago it made my eyes
14:56
light up. Today it makes my eyes light up
14:59
probably a year it'll it's it's it's just a number but what you
15:03
can get with that $100 bill has gone down and down in terms of
15:08
the the goods or services that you can command has gone down
15:11
and down in that you know barring some crazy miracle will
15:16
only continue to happen. It's real simple.
15:19
We. I could come on here and show
15:20
you all these graphs. And This is why the Fed is going
15:23
to do right? Right.
15:24
Right. No.
15:25
Right. Hold on a second.
15:27
Remember him. Remember, I'm not supposed to
15:30
open this. Do you think I'm going to open
15:32
it? Do you do you think I'm going to
15:34
open it? Huh.
15:36
Yeah, I'm going to open it. Because you know who's inside.
15:38
Yeah. Our old friend Jeremy Powell.
15:40
Gomer Pyle. Remember, He's Gomer Pyle.
15:43
Surprise, surprise, surprise. And what's he got in there with
15:47
him? Oh, his little Unicorn.
15:49
He likes to create Unicorn fart dust.
15:52
Right. That's what we call it here in
15:54
the basement. Paper money.
15:56
Fiat money, whatever you want to call it.
15:58
Whatever. It's all make believe.
16:00
It's all funny it's all. Where did it go?
16:02
I had a. Here it is.
16:03
Right. I just love.
16:05
Don't you love holding these in your hand?
16:07
Oh, man, it feels so solid. This has been this has been
16:11
valuable for thousands and thousands of years, right?
16:15
Yeah. No.
16:16
Wrong. What you want to hold in your
16:18
hand is this. It's the Daily Silver feature.
16:23
What do you think? I'm going to hold up?
16:24
You know what? I'm going to hold up.
16:26
Look at that. Huh.
16:28
That. Oh, man, I love when it comes
16:30
into focus. This, my friends, Huh.
16:34
This feels much different than that piece of paper, right?
16:39
Toilet paper. That's what my friend Richard
16:41
Cooper from the United Kingdom sent over, Sent over a bunch of
16:47
an envelope with a bunch of ones and fives in it.
16:49
And he said he he was back in the United Kingdom.
16:52
You know what He said, This is funny.
16:55
He said here, Ron, I brought this back back with me from a
16:58
trip I made to Las Vegas a few years ago.
17:01
He said. I call it Las Vegas toilet
17:03
paper. I haven't heard from Richard for
17:08
a while. Richard Cooper, how are you, my
17:10
friend? I hope you're doing well.
17:11
Breaking news, Breaking news. Big news tomorrow.
17:15
Remember what we talked about just a minute ago?
17:18
Critical for you to understand. None of this noise matters.
17:21
None of this fad, fad, fad, fad, CNBC.
17:25
But none of it matters. The real value of the dollar is
17:28
going down over time. It's only lost.
17:31
Did you know this? This is going to shock you.
17:34
Since 1971 when President Nixon temporarily took you and me off
17:39
the gold standard, the dollar has lost 98% of its value
17:43
relative to gold mic drop. Maybe I should just end the live
17:47
stream, but no, there's more because tomorrow we're going to
17:51
get big market moving news. We're going to hear about how BI
17:56
Dynamics is working some more. We're going to get the non farm
18:00
payroll number which will tell us how many make believe jobs
18:04
were created during the month of March and who knows what it'll
18:08
do. We could get slaughtered
18:10
tomorrow in Fiat dollar terms on the gold price, on the silver
18:14
price, right? We don't know.
18:16
I don't care anymore. I that's my opinion because you
18:19
know what it's all short term noise.
18:22
So be prepared. Warning you tomorrow, maybe it
18:26
could be a big update. Maybe it could be a big down
18:28
day. We don't know.
18:29
But it's going to be a big day. And you know the the sitting
18:34
president. This is not a political show,
18:36
right? 'cause all the previous
18:37
presidents have have irresponsibly put us in this
18:40
position that we're in right now.
18:42
But we're going to hear tomorrow about how great the economy is.
18:45
What's wrong with you? Have you heard that one yet?
18:48
They're scolding you. You got a problem, basement
18:52
dweller? No, you don't, basement dweller.
18:54
You're smarter than the average bear, but they're trying to tell
18:58
all the sheeple, Why are you so upset about the economy?
19:01
The economy's great. Everything's awesome.
19:04
Yeah, as long as you want to get a second, third or fourth job.
19:08
All right. Breaking news.
19:10
Breaking news. OK, this this is Big billionaire
19:17
billionaire on CNBC yesterday talking about gold.
19:22
And not just positively about gold, but what he had to say.
19:28
He he he dropped some truth bombs.
19:30
OK, I want to read you this transcript.
19:32
This was from CNBC exclusive interview with Green Light
19:40
Capital Co founder. Green Light Capital's a big
19:42
hedge fund. Excuse me.
19:45
And President David Einhorn. OK, this guy's cool.
19:49
This was on Power Lunch. This was yesterday, Wapner,
19:53
who's from CNBC, said. I think I saw as well that you
19:56
have a OK, he said that I'm going to, I'm just going to tell
19:59
you the part about gold, and this relates to silver too.
20:02
I think I saw as well that you have a position in GLD, which is
20:06
the gold ETF. Is that current?
20:07
He said yes, gold is large, it gets way better.
20:13
Wapner then said because you have talked about gold for many
20:16
years, you were talking about gold before it was fashionable.
20:22
Did CNBC just admit that gold is becoming fashionable in fashion?
20:27
In vogue? Interesting.
20:31
OK And now we are. It's coming in.
20:34
You know, it's becoming fashionable.
20:36
We keep going up with gold. That's what the guy on CNBC
20:40
said, Ironhorse said. Yes, this is interesting.
20:43
And we own a lot more gold, a lot more gold than just the
20:47
GLDETF. We own physical bars as well.
20:53
And Wapner from C&B said said why so?
20:57
Why so? Hmm.
21:00
Einhorn said So gold is a very large position for us.
21:05
And Wapner said, well, why have you made it so large?
21:08
Why aren't you buying Dogecoin or you know one of these other
21:13
Why aren't you buying NVIDIA? Right.
21:15
I'm. I'm adding that part.
21:17
But he didn't say why. Why would you put money in gold?
21:20
And this is what Einhorn said. This is a billionaire, OK,
21:24
billionaire. He said.
21:26
Well this is this is the truth bomb.
21:29
Well, because I think that there's a con, OK, a problem
21:34
with the overall monetary and fiscal policies of this country
21:40
and that both policies are systematically too loose.
21:44
So he's got a problem with the Fed and he's got a problem with
21:48
the US government. I think the deficits are
21:51
ultimately a real problem. And I think this is, this is a
21:57
way to hedge the risk of something not so good happening.
22:02
So he said we got a problem with the Fed monetary policy, that's
22:06
monetary policy. And we have a problem with the
22:07
government, that's fiscal policy.
22:09
Or our government just spends a couple trillion more every year
22:12
than they bring in. Nonetheless, nonetheless, it's a
22:15
con. OK, Wapner, this says, so you
22:19
think the chances are high of something not good happening?
22:24
Oh, Joy, this Wapner guy is very insightful.
22:27
Einhorn said, Well, this, this is more truth bombs.
22:32
Well, I think, I think it's a question of when and when.
22:36
We don't know. But in terms of the idea that
22:40
the fiscal situation is not sustainable and the monetary
22:43
policy is low in order to support the fiscal situation, I
22:47
think these are self-evident. Andy Schechtman talks about
22:51
that, right. Like you look at the clues, put
22:54
the clues together, pick up the crumbs off the ground, OK.
22:58
And it's clear to me that this is just a math thing.
23:01
I don't even remember him saying this.
23:03
Just a math thing. Can you, let me ask you basement
23:06
dweller, can you operate a calculator?
23:08
Can you go out to the usdebtclock.org and see what's
23:11
going on? Yes, so can David Einhorn.
23:14
Why can't these other, why can't these analyst, smart people,
23:18
right, that work for CNBC and Bloomberg and Reuters?
23:22
Why can't they operate a calculator like we can?
23:27
It's a math thing. Don't forget one of our favorite
23:29
sayings. One of our favorite sayings is
23:32
mathematics shows no forgiveness on the altar of truth.
23:36
Don't forget guys, what really matters.
23:39
I'll say it one more time and I won't be around the repeater
23:42
like that drives Susie crazy that I repeat but but the real
23:48
the real driving force for the silver and gold price is the
23:52
fact that the real value of the dollar is going down.
23:56
OK, so he says it's just a math thing.
23:59
And so because knowing when this is, I don't know, because it's
24:04
reflexivity. As long as the market is
24:06
confident in what's going on. Con game, confident, right?
24:11
Con game, everything is fine. But the minute that changes,
24:16
then there's a real, real problem.
24:20
OK, Remember this guy? Huh.
24:24
Con man? Right.
24:26
Everything's based on make believe.
24:29
It's not based. It's this is not based on
24:32
anything. Look.
24:34
Oh, it's flies. Oh, it flies away, right.
24:36
OK, All right. That's the reality.
24:40
Don't fall for it. OK?
24:42
Just my opinion. I'm not giving financial advice.
24:45
Don't make any decisions. Don't decide to get engaged.
24:48
Adopt A puppy, buy stock, buy. So don't do anything.
24:50
I'm just giving you my opinion. But it to me, it's a con game,
24:54
this guy, right? The Federal Reserve.
24:57
I'm going to leave him in his box.
24:58
Don't worry. The reality is right, the
25:01
Federal Reserve has become more of a public relations firm than
25:06
a bank. Think about that.
25:09
Why did they have to do that? Why did they have to become send
25:12
out their governors? All that you know to speak at
25:15
lunches and blah blah, blah. Why?
25:17
Why? Think about it.
25:19
Why has the Federal Reserve had to become more of a public
25:25
relations firm than a bank? I'll tell you why.
25:28
Because just like Einhorn said at the beginning, CON, con.
25:33
It's a con game, right? This is a con.
25:38
This used to be based on silver. This used to be based on gold.
25:43
And this country had some of the best decades in the history of
25:47
the world of any country when that was the case.
25:50
The reality is it's changed. Don't fall for it.
25:53
One last thing and then we're going to do one more.
25:55
Learn today. Don't even pay attention to what
25:58
they say about the dollar. The mainstream media, they're
26:01
going to tell you, oh, the dollar strong.
26:03
The DXY index is at 104. It's been a month since we told
26:08
we, we, we covered this. So we're going to cover it
26:10
again. Right now, the DXY compares the
26:13
dollar to a bunch of other crappy currencies.
26:16
It'd be like me and you going out shopping for a car and I
26:20
say, hey, I'm going to bring you to this great used car lot.
26:23
Ron's used cars, right? We go there and it's a big scam.
26:27
Ron's used cars, whatever, OK? And there's like three crappy
26:33
old. They're the best cars they have,
26:35
but they're still crappy old cars with a litany of problems,
26:38
right? You're looking at them.
26:39
And one's the dollar, one's the euro, one's the yen, right?
26:44
That's what the DXY. And it compares.
26:46
So all you're looking at are the best three crappy cars on a
26:51
crappy car lot. OK?
26:53
And I keep telling you, just keep looking at Ron's car lot.
26:55
That's the, you know, that's the.
26:57
But then you kind of turn your head and look across the street
27:00
and there's a Honda dealer and a Toyota dealer, right?
27:04
Those are with brand new. Then they got a nice gold
27:07
colored Honda Accord and the Toyota dealer has a nice silver
27:14
colored Toyota Camry, right, Brand new, high quality, that's
27:19
gold and silver. But no, no, no, you just focus
27:22
over there on those on those credit cards, that's the DXY.
27:26
The real value of the dollar is going down.
27:28
OK, I hope that makes sense. We got some inside news, inside
27:33
news from local coin shops, online bullion dealer and
27:38
another source that I've I need to tell you about what's going
27:41
on right now in the silver and gold market.
27:43
OK. But first let's say thank you to
27:46
channel sponsor First Mining Gold.
27:48
I spoke with the founder and Chairman, Keith Newmeyer
27:51
yesterday. I'm going to be releasing that
27:52
interview either later today or tomorrow.
27:55
Check out First Mining Gold if you're interested in a gold
27:58
development company with two multi million ounce projects in
28:01
Canada. You can learn more about them at
28:04
firstmininggold.com or reach out to Paul Morris, their Director
28:07
of Investor Relations. He'd be happy to talk to you,
28:11
his emails in the description of this video and of course our
28:15
friends at Fortuna Silver, Gold and Silver Mining Company.
28:20
Massive growing operations in West Africa.
28:24
Very exciting on the gold front. And of course with silver now it
28:28
almost what, $27.00 per oz? Yes, that you heard that right.
28:33
Fortuna Silver. They also mine for silver.
28:36
That's where they got their start.
28:38
They have operating silver mines in Peru and Mexico and another
28:43
gold mine as well in Latin America in Argentina.
28:46
You can learn more about Fortuna at fortunasilver.com.
28:51
All right, let's talk about what's going on in the it's an
28:55
insider insights about what's going on right now on the retail
28:58
bullion side of things because why is that so such a big deal?
29:02
I'm going to tell you why. It's a huge, huge deal that we
29:07
consider what's going on, on the retail bullion side.
29:11
And that's because the only thing missing, look, we've done
29:14
great, Gold's done great, Silver's done great, right.
29:18
But you know what's been missing, buttercup, you.
29:21
Well, not you or me, but there are cohorts.
29:25
Western investment in precious precious metals has been down,
29:29
down, down, right. That's why premiums were so
29:33
affordable. That's why the ETFs, the SLV and
29:37
the GLD had outflows for the last number of months.
29:40
Whatever, right. Just basic general trend that
29:44
Western investors weren't buying silver and gold.
29:48
Think about #1, the price did very well.
29:51
I'm not, we're not just going to say held up, but did very well.
29:54
I wonder why that's China. We'll talk about that later #2
29:58
when the Western investors do wake up the sheeple, right.
30:03
Your neighbors that say you try to talk to them about silver and
30:07
gold and they're like, Oh yeah, yeah, look at her.
30:10
I got, I got an I got a new concrete driveway poured last
30:13
week. OK.
30:14
Those people when they wake up, that will be a massive new wave
30:19
of of of investors money coming into the sector.
30:23
We've covered it. It could be like 5-10 times
30:25
whatever. So I talked to Coin Shop Chris,
30:28
our good friend Coin Shop Chris, let me tell you what he said.
30:31
This was yesterday. He said today's what, Thursday?
30:35
So he said Tuesday was a huge day.
30:38
It backed off today, which was yesterday, but still strong.
30:42
We're seeing more people, more and more people showing up at
30:46
the Coin Shop coming in for tubes over over instead of
30:50
buying just a few rounds or Eagles.
30:53
So people are buying tubes, right?
30:56
Right. There's what, 20 American Eagles
30:58
in a tube as opposed to just buying onesie twosies, OK, He
31:02
said. They're out of Dimes,
31:03
Constitutional Dimes. We have quarters.
31:07
No, no, 90%. Half dollars are still hard to
31:10
get. Gold is still doing well.
31:13
Call me if you want. Well, we will call you coin
31:17
shop, Chris, Of course, we love you.
31:20
Next, I talked to Mike, one of the owners at Pembachs, and I
31:24
have some quotes from from Michael here to give us an A
31:29
feel for what's going on in the online bullion sales arena.
31:33
He says, quote, bullion sales remain strong entering April and
31:38
tons, tons of new stackers are entering the market.
31:44
Many of the folks we speak with on the phone are just getting
31:48
started. Yeah, it's like my friend Sean,
31:50
my college roommate who saw he's I said call the guys at Pinbex,
31:54
OK? It's really great to see, says
31:57
Michael. Silver Eagles, one ounce rounds
32:00
and 90% constitutional are still the hottest ticket on the
32:04
website, which makes sense. Premiums are reasonable across
32:08
the board and we're moving bags of 90% for as low as $2.00 over
32:13
spot. It's a no brainer on the gold
32:16
side. We've noticed a slight shift in
32:19
purchasing behavior with more gold buyers shifting focus to
32:24
fractional gold Eagles and gold Maple Leafs.
32:28
Thank you Michael, and thank you Coin Shop Chris for that
32:30
insight. I think what I heard from
32:32
Michael as well and you know our friend bald Guy Money brought
32:35
this up the other day. Seems like as gold has gone up,
32:40
fewer people can actually afford to buy gold, right?
32:43
Individual investors. So maybe they're shifting to
32:46
silver. This is just my analysis, my
32:48
opinion, bald guy money brought up a point that like these crazy
32:52
statistics that say, like, I don't know, 54% of Americans
32:57
can't afford a $1000 emergency bill that would come up.
33:01
They'd have to borrow money on a credit card or borrow money from
33:04
their relatives or whatever. So we have to realize that like
33:07
there's a big portion of the United States that's pretty much
33:10
poor right now, cash poor and isn't going to be running into
33:15
and buying large amounts of of gold.
33:18
I have another comment. I spoke to somebody who's in
33:21
touch with a lot of the big, I guess you would call them dealer
33:26
level, wholesaler level, people within the within the silver and
33:31
gold bullion sector, he said. It's interesting that they're
33:35
all talking about how they're needing to increase the spread,
33:38
the spread between where the, the price where they'll buy
33:42
silver and gold at and this price where they're sell it like
33:46
the premiums I guess are are kind of moving upward and the
33:50
amount at or below spot that they'll buy silver and gold back
33:54
at are going down. And that last time that
33:56
happened, that occurred right before a major, major move up in
34:02
the market. So he had viewed this as a
34:05
potential positive catalyst. You know, I I don't like to hear
34:09
that people are getting paid less for their bullion when they
34:12
go to sell it back. But you know, do we really want
34:15
to sell our bullion back Anyway, I'll ask you that question.
34:17
I'm going to take a little break and have a quick sip of water
34:20
and then we'll be right back. How are you doing today?
34:34
Are you doing good? You know, let's remember one big
34:38
key thing. And this is not a spiritual or
34:40
anything like that show, but it's pretty darn cool that we
34:44
all get to get together and hang out and talk about our favorite
34:47
subject, Silver and gold, right? Hey, we're all alive.
34:51
We can all mostly see and hear. We had a lot to be grateful for.
34:56
Let's talk about China. I'll show you this.
35:01
Great. I thought it was a hilarious
35:03
picture. And as we talk about this
35:06
earlier, when we talked about the fact that hold on here, what
35:13
did I do? Oh boy.
35:15
OK, hopefully this is going to pull up.
35:17
I'm using a new a new browser called Brave, which is supposed
35:20
to help. Oh Doo Doo Doo Doo think happy
35:24
thoughts. That's not working for some
35:26
reason. Hold on here.
35:30
There it is. OK.
35:31
Earlier. OK.
35:32
Earlier we talked about how silver and gold are doing.
35:37
Awesome. Think about it right, Doing very
35:39
awesome. Very, very muted.
35:43
Very low demand in the West for silver and gold.
35:49
OK, why are silver and gold doing well?
35:52
Because the rest of the world wants all of our silver and
35:56
gold. The United States is losing
35:59
control. We're seeing and hearing more
36:03
and more articles, more and more coverage from the mainstream
36:08
media telling us that the West, the United States, the UK,
36:14
right, the G7 nations are losing control.
36:17
And our friend John Little over at Gold Star put out this I
36:21
thought was a hilarious little little cartoon that that really
36:26
sums it up right. OK, so you got Robins, Batman
36:29
and Robin saying US Spot gold is 2269 today.
36:33
This was back a couple days ago and you got Batman saying shut
36:38
up, Robin. The the the China Shanghai Gold
36:42
Exchange sets the gold price. Those are the bricks countries,
36:46
right. The bricks are saying, you know
36:48
there's there's a little Robin saying, but wait a minute, the
36:51
gold price is this? The silver's even crazier.
36:53
It's usually like now $2.00 cheaper supposedly on the Comex,
36:58
right. And you got Batman, who's like
37:00
the boss now? The bricks, right?
37:03
Coming in and saying no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
37:06
The Shanghai Gold Exchange sets the price for gold.
37:09
OK, Look at that. Wow, that was the difference
37:13
there. And then it talks about
37:15
arbitrage. And that's what's going on,
37:17
right? People are buying the silver and
37:19
gold in the West. That's the arbitrage argument.
37:23
And then immediately selling it back-to-back to the Shanghai
37:28
Gold Exchange and making a tidy little profit, right?
37:31
All the silver and gold is moving are a lot of it are
37:36
significant amount. The the the buyers now are in
37:40
the east. The BRICS countries, Brazil,
37:42
Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Saudi Arabia,
37:46
Egypt, Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates and like 31 more
37:51
countries that want to join them are sucking in the world's
37:55
silver and gold. And the basement dwellers.
37:59
And you. No doubt about it.
38:01
OK, let's quickly run out here to this article about silver.
38:08
OK. This one was on Zero Hedge.
38:11
Oh, this is oh, this is interesting.
38:13
This is very, very interesting. Hold on.
38:15
But let's just give them a little credit here.
38:17
Inflation risk late comers pile into silver.
38:23
As gold makes new highs. Speculators net long and silver
38:28
are jumping higher. Inflation and global growth risk
38:32
as well as demand from China which we just talked about are
38:35
helping. Dr. Gold new all time highs for
38:38
those late to the trade. Silver is is serving as the next
38:43
best thing. But wait till you see this.
38:45
Guys, look at this. Let me see if I can get this
38:47
chart to be bigger. I don't know if I can't.
38:50
Yeah, there we go. OK, so you got the silver price
38:54
in black and the gold price in gold, right?
38:58
Look, this goes back to 1975. Look how silver and gold
39:02
followed each other over all these decades, all these
39:06
decades, even here. I think silver way outperformed
39:09
that would have been 2011 kind of spiked up.
39:12
But look at what's happened here.
39:14
Gosh, for like the last 10 years.
39:16
Basically you've got gold zooming.
39:19
Look at this gap between you know silver at 27 where we are
39:24
now and gold all the way up at what 2300 probably even up up
39:29
into this range as well. That just shows you the catching
39:35
up that the silver price has to do with gold.
39:38
We talked about the gold to silver ratio.
39:41
I I think it it came down a little bit, right, maybe down to
39:44
like 8685 I heard yesterday with this recent surge in the silver
39:49
price. But you know historically the
39:52
silver or the gold to silver ratio has been as low as like 17
39:56
to 1/18/20 to 1 even in the last, you know, 30 or 40 years
40:00
we've looked at charts, the silver, gold to silver ratio,
40:04
excuse me is usually around 60 ish, right, which is still crazy
40:09
high. So silver, it's all that energy.
40:12
Think of that ratio. And again, that's the number of
40:15
Oz of silver that it takes to buy one ounce of gold.
40:18
Right now takes 85 ounces of silver to buy one ounce of gold.
40:22
Are you kidding me? Think of it like a bungee cord
40:26
that gets pulled and stretched and stretched and stretched and
40:29
all that built up energy that when it comes back, you know, I
40:34
mean, right now if we had a a gold to silver ratio at let's
40:37
say 40, we would have silver well north of $50 per oz, OK.
40:44
And that's why they call it a slingshot move.
40:47
And as gold continues to go even higher and higher, it pulls that
40:52
slingshot even higher and higher.
40:54
OK, Very interesting variant. Silver is a tiny, tiny, itsy
41:09
bitsy, tiny little market and that's a good thing.
41:13
I was talk again with Jordan. Jordan, Oh my gosh, I'm
41:18
forgetting Jordan Byrne, Roy Byrne.
41:21
Anyway, yesterday about how small the silver market is and
41:24
why that makes a difference, why that's a good thing for you.
41:28
Remember this, just put this in perspective, OK, at $27.00 per
41:34
oz, the entire mining sector and recycling all the new supply for
41:40
one whole year, entire new supply of silver to the world is
41:46
about a billion oz. That's about $27 billion worth
41:51
of silver that gets total supply, OK.
41:55
And by the way, that amount, that billion is going down,
41:58
down, down every year because the amount coming out of mines
42:01
is going down, down, down. But that's a whole different
42:04
story, 27 billion, OK, I want to point this out to you.
42:08
It makes that is so tiny when you compare that to other
42:12
markets, the gold market, the oil market, right.
42:16
And I think the oil market is like 10 times bigger than the
42:20
gold market, OK. But think about this, the market
42:24
cap of Home Depot, yes, Home Depot.
42:27
I'm not a big fan of those big hardware stores, but nonetheless
42:30
the market cap of a hardware, a chain of hardware stores is
42:35
almost $350 billion. That means the market values
42:40
Home Depot at over 13 * 13 times more than what?
42:46
The value of all the silver that's produced in all the world
42:50
for one whole year. 13 times bigger guys.
42:54
The silver market has so much room to explode to the upside.
42:59
It's going to be absolutely crazy as we move into these
43:04
coming years. I'll be here for you.
43:07
I want to say thank you to you for joining me today.
43:10
Joining us here in the basement. I want you to know you're always
43:14
welcome again. Please give this a thumbs up.
43:16
Subscribe to the channel, please.
43:18
