- 0:02Hey, guys. Welcome to the live stream.
- 0:04Thank you. Yes, you for being here today.
- 0:07There is no Ron's Basement community without people, and
- 0:11that includes you. You're #1.
- 0:14Thank you for being here, man. We have so much going on in the
- 0:18precious metal sector. Take a deep breath.
- 0:21Silver up over $2.00 per oz over the last two days.
- 0:27Can you believe it, Right. I mean, if we told you that, if
- 0:31you had told me that just a few short weeks ago, a few short
- 0:34months ago, we would not have believed it And we have so much
- 0:38to cover. Today we're going to talk about
- 0:40gold as well. But what are the billionaires
- 0:44saying? Yes, we have new shocking
- 0:46information from one of the world's richest people about
- 0:50gold in particular. And you know when they talk
- 0:53about gold, they're talking about silver as well, because
- 0:56gold is the godfather of the precious metals.
- 1:00Gold is the godfather of the anti Fiat, Unicorn, fart dust,
- 1:06fractional reserve banking system, whatever you want to
- 1:09call it. So when the billionaires talk
- 1:11about gold, they are indeed talking about silver as well.
- 1:16I also have a lot of information from some of the bullion
- 1:21industry insiders, OK, people that work at coin shops, people
- 1:25that work at the big online bullion dealers and even more
- 1:30that we're going to talk about that will impact the price of
- 1:33silver and gold because that's what we want to learn about the
- 1:36real value, what is going on out there?
- 1:39We're going to cover it also 13 times silver.
- 1:44Does that make you curious, 13 *.
- 1:47I uncovered a piece of data related to the silver market in
- 1:52a in a in a in a comparative manner that will knock your
- 1:57socks off 13 times. Yeah, So let's dig right in here
- 2:00guys. Gold over $2300.
- 2:04I know we're fluctuating around around there today, maybe 2990
- 2:08when we came on, but there are massive moves going on.
- 2:12Look, I'm not Tooting my own horn and I'm not right.
- 2:17You can ask Susie, my wife. I'm wrong.
- 2:19Often times more than I'm right. But we talked about in the
- 2:23basement how we could see $2600 gold by May.
- 2:27I made that far out prediction months and months ago.
- 2:32I'm sticking with it. Even back then, I said I didn't
- 2:35believe I wouldn't make any big bets that we would get to 2600
- 2:39by May. But isn't it starting to feel
- 2:41like it's moving into the realm of possibilities?
- 2:45We'll see, right? I went out on a limb and made
- 2:47that prediction back then. Based upon my analysis, based
- 2:51upon my gut feeling, looking at the technicals, looking at the
- 2:54fundamentals, where do you think the price of gold will be by
- 2:58May? Put it in the comment section.
- 3:00Do you think we can get to 2600? Do you think we'll be down close
- 3:04to 2000? Look, anything is within the
- 3:06realm of possibilities, but let's talk about something
- 3:09fascinating about this major move in the silver market.
- 3:15We've also had a big, major move in the gold market.
- 3:19We need to remember 2 critical things about this move that are
- 3:23actually very supportive, very positive as we move into the
- 3:28coming months, quarters and years.
- 3:31It's all been based on fundamentals, OK?
- 3:34We have not had, we've not had a big event that erupted a new
- 3:39war, a new economic Black Swan that came onto the scene.
- 3:44If you felt that, have you noticed that that this big move
- 3:47in gold and now silver starting to follow it feels like very
- 3:53steady. It's not been a big, massive
- 3:55spike. Out of nowhere, They say, Oh
- 3:58well, gold spiked because this happened because Russia invaded
- 4:02Ukraine. No, that happened two years ago.
- 4:04What? It's what it's felt like here
- 4:06over the last few weeks, few months in particular for gold is
- 4:10a slow, steady stair step. Move up.
- 4:14And that's a very good thing when it comes to building a new
- 4:18base, Building a new floor, A floor right like this.
- 4:24We want a floor like the concrete floor here in the
- 4:26basement. We want a floor under gold at
- 4:302100. We want a floor under gold at
- 4:332200. We want a floor to be built at
- 4:382300 stair stepping up. And the fact that this has not
- 4:42been just a big sudden spike up in the price of the metals, I
- 4:47think that's a very, very good sign.
- 4:50We know the real value of silver.
- 4:53We know the real value of gold. And we know that as we move
- 4:57through the rest of the year, we could continue to see the stair
- 5:01step higher and higher. Silver guys look pulled back a
- 5:05little bit this morning right before I came on.
- 5:08You know what, let's run out to, let's run out to channel sponsor
- 5:11pin backs quickly to get a update on the silver and gold
- 5:16price. Here we go, Gold.
- 5:21Wow, have you noticed this lately?
- 5:24Like the gold price gets smashed down, but it seems to come
- 5:27fighting back on most days. It's not going to happen every
- 5:30single day. Guys, we will get a pullback.
- 5:33OK? We will get pullbacks.
- 5:35We've been very spoiled lately. But man, aren't the precious
- 5:39metals prices showing unbelievable resilience in the
- 5:44face of adversity? Right.
- 5:45Look at silver only down $0.03 per oz.
- 5:48And while we're here, let's all say thank you, the channel
- 5:52sponsor, Pimbex Pi MB EXI. Love to say it, I love to spell
- 5:59it. But what I love even more is
- 6:01that when I buy metal from Pimbex, I always get more metal
- 6:06for my money. Look, you can go to their
- 6:08website here, right in front of you, just like I am now, and
- 6:11learn for yourself. They have a great selection and
- 6:16they have ultra competitive prices.
- 6:18I've always found that when I compare Pinbex prices to other
- 6:22online bullion dealers, I get more metal for my money at
- 6:26Pinbex. And as a big added bonus and
- 6:30actually something that should be very utmost important to
- 6:33anyone buying silver, gold, Platinum, any online precious
- 6:37metal purchase is that it's a company I can trust.
- 6:40I worked with them before they became a sponsor of Ron's
- 6:44Basement and I consider it a big honor that they sponsor the
- 6:47channel. I'm not going to tell you what
- 6:49to do, but I would recommend at least give Pembex a shot next
- 6:55time you are looking to buy bullion online.
- 6:58I think Pembex is best and I think you will too.
- 7:01Let's move on here. Big report out of The Economic
- 7:04Times talking, telling us that the price of silver and gold
- 7:10could continue marching forward. The Economic Times actually
- 7:14saying and now everyone's picking up on this.
- 7:17I'm telling you, silver, do you? Silver could be in for a major
- 7:22big ride because even The Economic Times said that it's
- 7:25very likely as we move through the rest of the year that silver
- 7:29could outperform gold. Stop.
- 7:32Stop. Breaking news.
- 7:35Can you believe that we have silver near $27.00 per oz?
- 7:39I was sitting last night and I and it it like dawned on me.
- 7:44Does it ever happened to you? Something dawns on you.
- 7:47We have $27.00 silver. I know that's nowhere near where
- 7:53we believe silver will head because I'm a firm believer.
- 7:57I spoke with Jordan Roy Byrne yesterday, one of the smartest
- 8:01analysts out there, right. He's pointing out right when
- 8:04silver, this is textbook technical analysis that when
- 8:08silver does break out, we could, we could see right this move to
- 8:13$50 silver and then a move to 95 or even $100 silver can happen
- 8:18very quickly. And we're happy right now.
- 8:21Are you happy? I'm happy.
- 8:23Are you happy? Tell you know what, I'm going to
- 8:26put it in the chat. I'm going to ask you to
- 8:27participate. I am happy and I'm trying to
- 8:31type. Here we go with $27 silver.
- 8:37Yeah, thank you. Supplemental dinner.
- 8:39I'm Jordan. Roy Byrne is a super cool, very
- 8:44nice and very, very intelligent person.
- 8:48I'll have an interview coming out with him here in the next
- 8:50few days if you want to learn, right.
- 8:52This guy was so nice to explain a lot of things to me.
- 8:56One of the things that he explained to me about the silver
- 8:59and gold market and resistance is that it's really all
- 9:03essentially about supply and demand.
- 9:05And guys, when we get above resistance, when we get into the
- 9:09mid 30s on the silver price, nobody, I mean nobody, Do I have
- 9:15to yell it. Nobody is going to want to sell
- 9:19their silver because everybody that has silver.
- 9:23And when silver gets to $34, when things go into new high
- 9:27territory and this is just my opinion, you can disagree with
- 9:30me, but in my book when we get above 28, thirty $233 per oz
- 9:36silver, that's basically a new all time high for all intensive
- 9:40purposes. My mom used to say that to me or
- 9:43my dad, one of them for all intensive purposes.
- 9:46Ronald, we're at all time new, new high, right?
- 9:50Nobody's going to want to sell. And we're going to have all
- 9:53these new, what do they call lemmings?
- 9:55I don't know. Sheeple the sheeple.
- 9:57Not you, not me, Right. We already have our silver,
- 10:01right? We already have our precious
- 10:03metal mining stocks. We already maybe you have gold.
- 10:06OK, whatever. You already got it.
- 10:08You already have it when the sheeple show up.
- 10:15I heard on CNBC that silver's a good investment.
- 10:20They stopped talking about Bitcoin for a few seconds.
- 10:23It's going to. Nope.
- 10:24Nobody's going to want to be selling.
- 10:26There's going to be limited supply and big demand, OK, be be
- 10:32ready for it, OK? They've already been sucking all
- 10:35the extra excess from these deficits out of the out of the
- 10:38above ground surplus for the last number of years.
- 10:41It has the prospect to become very, very, very interesting for
- 10:46you basement dwellers, right. Remember, I'm on a concrete
- 10:50floor. Uh oh, somebody's calling me a
- 10:53spam call. Sorry about that.
- 10:56It has the prospects to become crazy interesting.
- 11:00All right. Over the next couple years.
- 11:02And I was talking with Keith Neumar day before last.
- 11:05Right. Right.
- 11:06The the the one of the leaders in the precious metal sector.
- 11:10And he reminded me of something and and I'm going to remind you
- 11:13of this and this is going to make you feel good, this better,
- 11:16make you feel good basement dwellers.
- 11:18If it doesn't send me an e-mail. But but think about this.
- 11:23We have not, most of us have not experienced a long term bull
- 11:27market in the metals. And he talked about this period
- 11:31from about 2002 through about 2011, 2012 where it was a long
- 11:36term bull market right member, stair steps up, stair steps up.
- 11:41And he said, yeah, sure, there were times when there were pull
- 11:43backs during that period. We thought, oh it's over, it's
- 11:46done, you know. But then sure enough, the metals
- 11:48came roaring back and a lot of people made a lot of money.
- 11:53And we're not just in this for the money.
- 11:54I know you and me like you know, we like the security aspect, the
- 11:58safety, the safe harbor component, the precious metals.
- 12:02But my gosh, don't forget guys, it it can happen.
- 12:06We can have a 10 year and eight-year, a four year heck A2
- 12:12year at this point we'll be happy with anything bull market
- 12:16in these metals and you know the fundamental factors supporting
- 12:20it all. All right, let's move on.
- 12:22We got so much to talk about. Let's talk about the most
- 12:24important fact right now and that is that it's a big deal
- 12:28that you join me here in the basement.
- 12:31I really appreciate it. On behalf of myself, Susie, on
- 12:34behalf of the moderators, thank you for being here.
- 12:37Please give this a thumbs up. You can share the video with
- 12:40your friends if you like. We want to get the word out to
- 12:43more and more people. And please, if you haven't
- 12:45subscribed to the channel, super chats are always super
- 12:50appreciated. Never expected.
- 12:52I never want you to donate any money to Ron's Basement that you
- 12:56can't afford to donate. I hope you have credit card,
- 12:58debt, whatever. Pay that off 1st, all right,
- 13:01before you donate any money to me, but it is super appreciated
- 13:04now. It's OK.
- 13:06It's not. This does not feel spiky, does
- 13:10it does. Move up.
- 13:11All right. We talked about it.
- 13:13It's based more on fundamentals, which is a very good thing, very
- 13:17good thing in the long term and all this.
- 13:19I'm going to give you a little insight here, OK.
- 13:22You can basically at this point ignore all this BS talk there
- 13:28about the Federal Reserve and interest rate hikes, and then
- 13:31when are they going to raise rates, blah, blah blah.
- 13:33It doesn't matter anymore. Guys, I'm telling you this is my
- 13:36opinion, all right? And I know it's not a popular
- 13:39opinion, but it doesn't matter anymore.
- 13:41What matters is 1 darn thing for the value of silver and gold
- 13:47that you own one darn thing. And that is the fact that the
- 13:51real value, not the nominal value, not the DXY, the real
- 13:56real value of the dollar will continue to go down.
- 14:00I don't like it. I didn't 'cause it.
- 14:02You didn't 'cause it, OK, we're not we're not anti American.
- 14:07We know how to work a calculator and no matter what smoke and
- 14:11mirrors, oh we're going to raise rates or the feds going to raise
- 14:14rates three times or lower rates whatever, blah blah.
- 14:17And the and the odds of it happening in June or this and it
- 14:20sure it's all short term noise because in the long run
- 14:25unfortunately because of irresponsibility by our leaders
- 14:30in Washington and that's a fact and I'm not afraid to say that
- 14:33irresponsible fiscal and monetary policy.
- 14:38There's only one thing that's going to happen to the US dollar
- 14:41and that is it's going to lose its purchasing power.
- 14:44It's going to lose its real value, right.
- 14:48Not nominal, There's a difference.
- 14:49Nominal is just a number. Hey $100 bill is $100 bill
- 14:54right. Five years ago it made my eyes
- 14:56light up. Today it makes my eyes light up
- 14:59probably a year it'll it's it's it's just a number but what you
- 15:03can get with that $100 bill has gone down and down in terms of
- 15:08the the goods or services that you can command has gone down
- 15:11and down in that you know barring some crazy miracle will
- 15:16only continue to happen. It's real simple.
- 15:19We. I could come on here and show
- 15:20you all these graphs. And This is why the Fed is going
- 15:23to do right? Right.
- 15:24Right. No.
- 15:25Right. Hold on a second.
- 15:27Remember him. Remember, I'm not supposed to
- 15:30open this. Do you think I'm going to open
- 15:32it? Do you do you think I'm going to
- 15:34open it? Huh.
- 15:36Yeah, I'm going to open it. Because you know who's inside.
- 15:38Yeah. Our old friend Jeremy Powell.
- 15:40Gomer Pyle. Remember, He's Gomer Pyle.
- 15:43Surprise, surprise, surprise. And what's he got in there with
- 15:47him? Oh, his little Unicorn.
- 15:49He likes to create Unicorn fart dust.
- 15:52Right. That's what we call it here in
- 15:54the basement. Paper money.
- 15:56Fiat money, whatever you want to call it.
- 15:58Whatever. It's all make believe.
- 16:00It's all funny it's all. Where did it go?
- 16:02I had a. Here it is.
- 16:03Right. I just love.
- 16:05Don't you love holding these in your hand?
- 16:07Oh, man, it feels so solid. This has been this has been
- 16:11valuable for thousands and thousands of years, right?
- 16:15Yeah. No.
- 16:16Wrong. What you want to hold in your
- 16:18hand is this. It's the Daily Silver feature.
- 16:23What do you think? I'm going to hold up?
- 16:24You know what? I'm going to hold up.
- 16:26Look at that. Huh.
- 16:28That. Oh, man, I love when it comes
- 16:30into focus. This, my friends, Huh.
- 16:34This feels much different than that piece of paper, right?
- 16:39Toilet paper. That's what my friend Richard
- 16:41Cooper from the United Kingdom sent over, Sent over a bunch of
- 16:47an envelope with a bunch of ones and fives in it.
- 16:49And he said he he was back in the United Kingdom.
- 16:52You know what He said, This is funny.
- 16:55He said here, Ron, I brought this back back with me from a
- 16:58trip I made to Las Vegas a few years ago.
- 17:01He said. I call it Las Vegas toilet
- 17:03paper. I haven't heard from Richard for
- 17:08a while. Richard Cooper, how are you, my
- 17:10friend? I hope you're doing well.
- 17:11Breaking news, Breaking news. Big news tomorrow.
- 17:15Remember what we talked about just a minute ago?
- 17:18Critical for you to understand. None of this noise matters.
- 17:21None of this fad, fad, fad, fad, CNBC.
- 17:25But none of it matters. The real value of the dollar is
- 17:28going down over time. It's only lost.
- 17:31Did you know this? This is going to shock you.
- 17:34Since 1971 when President Nixon temporarily took you and me off
- 17:39the gold standard, the dollar has lost 98% of its value
- 17:43relative to gold mic drop. Maybe I should just end the live
- 17:47stream, but no, there's more because tomorrow we're going to
- 17:51get big market moving news. We're going to hear about how BI
- 17:56Dynamics is working some more. We're going to get the non farm
- 18:00payroll number which will tell us how many make believe jobs
- 18:04were created during the month of March and who knows what it'll
- 18:08do. We could get slaughtered
- 18:10tomorrow in Fiat dollar terms on the gold price, on the silver
- 18:14price, right? We don't know.
- 18:16I don't care anymore. I that's my opinion because you
- 18:19know what it's all short term noise.
- 18:22So be prepared. Warning you tomorrow, maybe it
- 18:26could be a big update. Maybe it could be a big down
- 18:28day. We don't know.
- 18:29But it's going to be a big day. And you know the the sitting
- 18:34president. This is not a political show,
- 18:36right? 'cause all the previous
- 18:37presidents have have irresponsibly put us in this
- 18:40position that we're in right now.
- 18:42But we're going to hear tomorrow about how great the economy is.
- 18:45What's wrong with you? Have you heard that one yet?
- 18:48They're scolding you. You got a problem, basement
- 18:52dweller? No, you don't, basement dweller.
- 18:54You're smarter than the average bear, but they're trying to tell
- 18:58all the sheeple, Why are you so upset about the economy?
- 19:01The economy's great. Everything's awesome.
- 19:04Yeah, as long as you want to get a second, third or fourth job.
- 19:08All right. Breaking news.
- 19:10Breaking news. OK, this this is Big billionaire
- 19:17billionaire on CNBC yesterday talking about gold.
- 19:22And not just positively about gold, but what he had to say.
- 19:28He he he dropped some truth bombs.
- 19:30OK, I want to read you this transcript.
- 19:32This was from CNBC exclusive interview with Green Light
- 19:40Capital Co founder. Green Light Capital's a big
- 19:42hedge fund. Excuse me.
- 19:45And President David Einhorn. OK, this guy's cool.
- 19:49This was on Power Lunch. This was yesterday, Wapner,
- 19:53who's from CNBC, said. I think I saw as well that you
- 19:56have a OK, he said that I'm going to, I'm just going to tell
- 19:59you the part about gold, and this relates to silver too.
- 20:02I think I saw as well that you have a position in GLD, which is
- 20:06the gold ETF. Is that current?
- 20:07He said yes, gold is large, it gets way better.
- 20:13Wapner then said because you have talked about gold for many
- 20:16years, you were talking about gold before it was fashionable.
- 20:22Did CNBC just admit that gold is becoming fashionable in fashion?
- 20:27In vogue? Interesting.
- 20:31OK And now we are. It's coming in.
- 20:34You know, it's becoming fashionable.
- 20:36We keep going up with gold. That's what the guy on CNBC
- 20:40said, Ironhorse said. Yes, this is interesting.
- 20:43And we own a lot more gold, a lot more gold than just the
- 20:47GLDETF. We own physical bars as well.
- 20:53And Wapner from C&B said said why so?
- 20:57Why so? Hmm.
- 21:00Einhorn said So gold is a very large position for us.
- 21:05And Wapner said, well, why have you made it so large?
- 21:08Why aren't you buying Dogecoin or you know one of these other
- 21:13Why aren't you buying NVIDIA? Right.
- 21:15I'm. I'm adding that part.
- 21:17But he didn't say why. Why would you put money in gold?
- 21:20And this is what Einhorn said. This is a billionaire, OK,
- 21:24billionaire. He said.
- 21:26Well this is this is the truth bomb.
- 21:29Well, because I think that there's a con, OK, a problem
- 21:34with the overall monetary and fiscal policies of this country
- 21:40and that both policies are systematically too loose.
- 21:44So he's got a problem with the Fed and he's got a problem with
- 21:48the US government. I think the deficits are
- 21:51ultimately a real problem. And I think this is, this is a
- 21:57way to hedge the risk of something not so good happening.
- 22:02So he said we got a problem with the Fed monetary policy, that's
- 22:06monetary policy. And we have a problem with the
- 22:07government, that's fiscal policy.
- 22:09Or our government just spends a couple trillion more every year
- 22:12than they bring in. Nonetheless, nonetheless, it's a
- 22:15con. OK, Wapner, this says, so you
- 22:19think the chances are high of something not good happening?
- 22:24Oh, Joy, this Wapner guy is very insightful.
- 22:27Einhorn said, Well, this, this is more truth bombs.
- 22:32Well, I think, I think it's a question of when and when.
- 22:36We don't know. But in terms of the idea that
- 22:40the fiscal situation is not sustainable and the monetary
- 22:43policy is low in order to support the fiscal situation, I
- 22:47think these are self-evident. Andy Schechtman talks about
- 22:51that, right. Like you look at the clues, put
- 22:54the clues together, pick up the crumbs off the ground, OK.
- 22:58And it's clear to me that this is just a math thing.
- 23:01I don't even remember him saying this.
- 23:03Just a math thing. Can you, let me ask you basement
- 23:06dweller, can you operate a calculator?
- 23:08Can you go out to the usdebtclock.org and see what's
- 23:11going on? Yes, so can David Einhorn.
- 23:14Why can't these other, why can't these analyst, smart people,
- 23:18right, that work for CNBC and Bloomberg and Reuters?
- 23:22Why can't they operate a calculator like we can?
- 23:27It's a math thing. Don't forget one of our favorite
- 23:29sayings. One of our favorite sayings is
- 23:32mathematics shows no forgiveness on the altar of truth.
- 23:36Don't forget guys, what really matters.
- 23:39I'll say it one more time and I won't be around the repeater
- 23:42like that drives Susie crazy that I repeat but but the real
- 23:48the real driving force for the silver and gold price is the
- 23:52fact that the real value of the dollar is going down.
- 23:56OK, so he says it's just a math thing.
- 23:59And so because knowing when this is, I don't know, because it's
- 24:04reflexivity. As long as the market is
- 24:06confident in what's going on. Con game, confident, right?
- 24:11Con game, everything is fine. But the minute that changes,
- 24:16then there's a real, real problem.
- 24:20OK, Remember this guy? Huh.
- 24:24Con man? Right.
- 24:26Everything's based on make believe.
- 24:29It's not based. It's this is not based on
- 24:32anything. Look.
- 24:34Oh, it's flies. Oh, it flies away, right.
- 24:36OK, All right. That's the reality.
- 24:40Don't fall for it. OK?
- 24:42Just my opinion. I'm not giving financial advice.
- 24:45Don't make any decisions. Don't decide to get engaged.
- 24:48Adopt A puppy, buy stock, buy. So don't do anything.
- 24:50I'm just giving you my opinion. But it to me, it's a con game,
- 24:54this guy, right? The Federal Reserve.
- 24:57I'm going to leave him in his box.
- 24:58Don't worry. The reality is right, the
- 25:01Federal Reserve has become more of a public relations firm than
- 25:06a bank. Think about that.
- 25:09Why did they have to do that? Why did they have to become send
- 25:12out their governors? All that you know to speak at
- 25:15lunches and blah blah, blah. Why?
- 25:17Why? Think about it.
- 25:19Why has the Federal Reserve had to become more of a public
- 25:25relations firm than a bank? I'll tell you why.
- 25:28Because just like Einhorn said at the beginning, CON, con.
- 25:33It's a con game, right? This is a con.
- 25:38This used to be based on silver. This used to be based on gold.
- 25:43And this country had some of the best decades in the history of
- 25:47the world of any country when that was the case.
- 25:50The reality is it's changed. Don't fall for it.
- 25:53One last thing and then we're going to do one more.
- 25:55Learn today. Don't even pay attention to what
- 25:58they say about the dollar. The mainstream media, they're
- 26:01going to tell you, oh, the dollar strong.
- 26:03The DXY index is at 104. It's been a month since we told
- 26:08we, we, we covered this. So we're going to cover it
- 26:10again. Right now, the DXY compares the
- 26:13dollar to a bunch of other crappy currencies.
- 26:16It'd be like me and you going out shopping for a car and I
- 26:20say, hey, I'm going to bring you to this great used car lot.
- 26:23Ron's used cars, right? We go there and it's a big scam.
- 26:27Ron's used cars, whatever, OK? And there's like three crappy
- 26:33old. They're the best cars they have,
- 26:35but they're still crappy old cars with a litany of problems,
- 26:38right? You're looking at them.
- 26:39And one's the dollar, one's the euro, one's the yen, right?
- 26:44That's what the DXY. And it compares.
- 26:46So all you're looking at are the best three crappy cars on a
- 26:51crappy car lot. OK?
- 26:53And I keep telling you, just keep looking at Ron's car lot.
- 26:55That's the, you know, that's the.
- 26:57But then you kind of turn your head and look across the street
- 27:00and there's a Honda dealer and a Toyota dealer, right?
- 27:04Those are with brand new. Then they got a nice gold
- 27:07colored Honda Accord and the Toyota dealer has a nice silver
- 27:14colored Toyota Camry, right, Brand new, high quality, that's
- 27:19gold and silver. But no, no, no, you just focus
- 27:22over there on those on those credit cards, that's the DXY.
- 27:26The real value of the dollar is going down.
- 27:28OK, I hope that makes sense. We got some inside news, inside
- 27:33news from local coin shops, online bullion dealer and
- 27:38another source that I've I need to tell you about what's going
- 27:41on right now in the silver and gold market.
- 27:43OK. But first let's say thank you to
- 27:46channel sponsor First Mining Gold.
- 27:48I spoke with the founder and Chairman, Keith Newmeyer
- 27:51yesterday. I'm going to be releasing that
- 27:52interview either later today or tomorrow.
- 27:55Check out First Mining Gold if you're interested in a gold
- 27:58development company with two multi million ounce projects in
- 28:01Canada. You can learn more about them at
- 28:04firstmininggold.com or reach out to Paul Morris, their Director
- 28:07of Investor Relations. He'd be happy to talk to you,
- 28:11his emails in the description of this video and of course our
- 28:15friends at Fortuna Silver, Gold and Silver Mining Company.
- 28:20Massive growing operations in West Africa.
- 28:24Very exciting on the gold front. And of course with silver now it
- 28:28almost what, $27.00 per oz? Yes, that you heard that right.
- 28:33Fortuna Silver. They also mine for silver.
- 28:36That's where they got their start.
- 28:38They have operating silver mines in Peru and Mexico and another
- 28:43gold mine as well in Latin America in Argentina.
- 28:46You can learn more about Fortuna at fortunasilver.com.
- 28:51All right, let's talk about what's going on in the it's an
- 28:55insider insights about what's going on right now on the retail
- 28:58bullion side of things because why is that so such a big deal?
- 29:02I'm going to tell you why. It's a huge, huge deal that we
- 29:07consider what's going on, on the retail bullion side.
- 29:11And that's because the only thing missing, look, we've done
- 29:14great, Gold's done great, Silver's done great, right.
- 29:18But you know what's been missing, buttercup, you.
- 29:21Well, not you or me, but there are cohorts.
- 29:25Western investment in precious precious metals has been down,
- 29:29down, down, right. That's why premiums were so
- 29:33affordable. That's why the ETFs, the SLV and
- 29:37the GLD had outflows for the last number of months.
- 29:40Whatever, right. Just basic general trend that
- 29:44Western investors weren't buying silver and gold.
- 29:48Think about #1, the price did very well.
- 29:51I'm not, we're not just going to say held up, but did very well.
- 29:54I wonder why that's China. We'll talk about that later #2
- 29:58when the Western investors do wake up the sheeple, right.
- 30:03Your neighbors that say you try to talk to them about silver and
- 30:07gold and they're like, Oh yeah, yeah, look at her.
- 30:10I got, I got an I got a new concrete driveway poured last
- 30:13week. OK.
- 30:14Those people when they wake up, that will be a massive new wave
- 30:19of of of investors money coming into the sector.
- 30:23We've covered it. It could be like 5-10 times
- 30:25whatever. So I talked to Coin Shop Chris,
- 30:28our good friend Coin Shop Chris, let me tell you what he said.
- 30:31This was yesterday. He said today's what, Thursday?
- 30:35So he said Tuesday was a huge day.
- 30:38It backed off today, which was yesterday, but still strong.
- 30:42We're seeing more people, more and more people showing up at
- 30:46the Coin Shop coming in for tubes over over instead of
- 30:50buying just a few rounds or Eagles.
- 30:53So people are buying tubes, right?
- 30:56Right. There's what, 20 American Eagles
- 30:58in a tube as opposed to just buying onesie twosies, OK, He
- 31:02said. They're out of Dimes,
- 31:03Constitutional Dimes. We have quarters.
- 31:07No, no, 90%. Half dollars are still hard to
- 31:10get. Gold is still doing well.
- 31:13Call me if you want. Well, we will call you coin
- 31:17shop, Chris, Of course, we love you.
- 31:20Next, I talked to Mike, one of the owners at Pembachs, and I
- 31:24have some quotes from from Michael here to give us an A
- 31:29feel for what's going on in the online bullion sales arena.
- 31:33He says, quote, bullion sales remain strong entering April and
- 31:38tons, tons of new stackers are entering the market.
- 31:44Many of the folks we speak with on the phone are just getting
- 31:48started. Yeah, it's like my friend Sean,
- 31:50my college roommate who saw he's I said call the guys at Pinbex,
- 31:54OK? It's really great to see, says
- 31:57Michael. Silver Eagles, one ounce rounds
- 32:00and 90% constitutional are still the hottest ticket on the
- 32:04website, which makes sense. Premiums are reasonable across
- 32:08the board and we're moving bags of 90% for as low as $2.00 over
- 32:13spot. It's a no brainer on the gold
- 32:16side. We've noticed a slight shift in
- 32:19purchasing behavior with more gold buyers shifting focus to
- 32:24fractional gold Eagles and gold Maple Leafs.
- 32:28Thank you Michael, and thank you Coin Shop Chris for that
- 32:30insight. I think what I heard from
- 32:32Michael as well and you know our friend bald Guy Money brought
- 32:35this up the other day. Seems like as gold has gone up,
- 32:40fewer people can actually afford to buy gold, right?
- 32:43Individual investors. So maybe they're shifting to
- 32:46silver. This is just my analysis, my
- 32:48opinion, bald guy money brought up a point that like these crazy
- 32:52statistics that say, like, I don't know, 54% of Americans
- 32:57can't afford a $1000 emergency bill that would come up.
- 33:01They'd have to borrow money on a credit card or borrow money from
- 33:04their relatives or whatever. So we have to realize that like
- 33:07there's a big portion of the United States that's pretty much
- 33:10poor right now, cash poor and isn't going to be running into
- 33:15and buying large amounts of of gold.
- 33:18I have another comment. I spoke to somebody who's in
- 33:21touch with a lot of the big, I guess you would call them dealer
- 33:26level, wholesaler level, people within the within the silver and
- 33:31gold bullion sector, he said. It's interesting that they're
- 33:35all talking about how they're needing to increase the spread,
- 33:38the spread between where the, the price where they'll buy
- 33:42silver and gold at and this price where they're sell it like
- 33:46the premiums I guess are are kind of moving upward and the
- 33:50amount at or below spot that they'll buy silver and gold back
- 33:54at are going down. And that last time that
- 33:56happened, that occurred right before a major, major move up in
- 34:02the market. So he had viewed this as a
- 34:05potential positive catalyst. You know, I I don't like to hear
- 34:09that people are getting paid less for their bullion when they
- 34:12go to sell it back. But you know, do we really want
- 34:15to sell our bullion back Anyway, I'll ask you that question.
- 34:17I'm going to take a little break and have a quick sip of water
- 34:20and then we'll be right back. How are you doing today?
- 34:34Are you doing good? You know, let's remember one big
- 34:38key thing. And this is not a spiritual or
- 34:40anything like that show, but it's pretty darn cool that we
- 34:44all get to get together and hang out and talk about our favorite
- 34:47subject, Silver and gold, right? Hey, we're all alive.
- 34:51We can all mostly see and hear. We had a lot to be grateful for.
- 34:56Let's talk about China. I'll show you this.
- 35:01Great. I thought it was a hilarious
- 35:03picture. And as we talk about this
- 35:06earlier, when we talked about the fact that hold on here, what
- 35:13did I do? Oh boy.
- 35:15OK, hopefully this is going to pull up.
- 35:17I'm using a new a new browser called Brave, which is supposed
- 35:20to help. Oh Doo Doo Doo Doo think happy
- 35:24thoughts. That's not working for some
- 35:26reason. Hold on here.
- 35:30There it is. OK.
- 35:31Earlier. OK.
- 35:32Earlier we talked about how silver and gold are doing.
- 35:37Awesome. Think about it right, Doing very
- 35:39awesome. Very, very muted.
- 35:43Very low demand in the West for silver and gold.
- 35:49OK, why are silver and gold doing well?
- 35:52Because the rest of the world wants all of our silver and
- 35:56gold. The United States is losing
- 35:59control. We're seeing and hearing more
- 36:03and more articles, more and more coverage from the mainstream
- 36:08media telling us that the West, the United States, the UK,
- 36:14right, the G7 nations are losing control.
- 36:17And our friend John Little over at Gold Star put out this I
- 36:21thought was a hilarious little little cartoon that that really
- 36:26sums it up right. OK, so you got Robins, Batman
- 36:29and Robin saying US Spot gold is 2269 today.
- 36:33This was back a couple days ago and you got Batman saying shut
- 36:38up, Robin. The the the China Shanghai Gold
- 36:42Exchange sets the gold price. Those are the bricks countries,
- 36:46right. The bricks are saying, you know
- 36:48there's there's a little Robin saying, but wait a minute, the
- 36:51gold price is this? The silver's even crazier.
- 36:53It's usually like now $2.00 cheaper supposedly on the Comex,
- 36:58right. And you got Batman, who's like
- 37:00the boss now? The bricks, right?
- 37:03Coming in and saying no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 37:06The Shanghai Gold Exchange sets the price for gold.
- 37:09OK, Look at that. Wow, that was the difference
- 37:13there. And then it talks about
- 37:15arbitrage. And that's what's going on,
- 37:17right? People are buying the silver and
- 37:19gold in the West. That's the arbitrage argument.
- 37:23And then immediately selling it back-to-back to the Shanghai
- 37:28Gold Exchange and making a tidy little profit, right?
- 37:31All the silver and gold is moving are a lot of it are
- 37:36significant amount. The the the buyers now are in
- 37:40the east. The BRICS countries, Brazil,
- 37:42Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Saudi Arabia,
- 37:46Egypt, Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates and like 31 more
- 37:51countries that want to join them are sucking in the world's
- 37:55silver and gold. And the basement dwellers.
- 37:59And you. No doubt about it.
- 38:01OK, let's quickly run out here to this article about silver.
- 38:08OK. This one was on Zero Hedge.
- 38:11Oh, this is oh, this is interesting.
- 38:13This is very, very interesting. Hold on.
- 38:15But let's just give them a little credit here.
- 38:17Inflation risk late comers pile into silver.
- 38:23As gold makes new highs. Speculators net long and silver
- 38:28are jumping higher. Inflation and global growth risk
- 38:32as well as demand from China which we just talked about are
- 38:35helping. Dr. Gold new all time highs for
- 38:38those late to the trade. Silver is is serving as the next
- 38:43best thing. But wait till you see this.
- 38:45Guys, look at this. Let me see if I can get this
- 38:47chart to be bigger. I don't know if I can't.
- 38:50Yeah, there we go. OK, so you got the silver price
- 38:54in black and the gold price in gold, right?
- 38:58Look, this goes back to 1975. Look how silver and gold
- 39:02followed each other over all these decades, all these
- 39:06decades, even here. I think silver way outperformed
- 39:09that would have been 2011 kind of spiked up.
- 39:12But look at what's happened here.
- 39:14Gosh, for like the last 10 years.
- 39:16Basically you've got gold zooming.
- 39:19Look at this gap between you know silver at 27 where we are
- 39:24now and gold all the way up at what 2300 probably even up up
- 39:29into this range as well. That just shows you the catching
- 39:35up that the silver price has to do with gold.
- 39:38We talked about the gold to silver ratio.
- 39:41I I think it it came down a little bit, right, maybe down to
- 39:44like 8685 I heard yesterday with this recent surge in the silver
- 39:49price. But you know historically the
- 39:52silver or the gold to silver ratio has been as low as like 17
- 39:56to 1/18/20 to 1 even in the last, you know, 30 or 40 years
- 40:00we've looked at charts, the silver, gold to silver ratio,
- 40:04excuse me is usually around 60 ish, right, which is still crazy
- 40:09high. So silver, it's all that energy.
- 40:12Think of that ratio. And again, that's the number of
- 40:15Oz of silver that it takes to buy one ounce of gold.
- 40:18Right now takes 85 ounces of silver to buy one ounce of gold.
- 40:22Are you kidding me? Think of it like a bungee cord
- 40:26that gets pulled and stretched and stretched and stretched and
- 40:29all that built up energy that when it comes back, you know, I
- 40:34mean, right now if we had a a gold to silver ratio at let's
- 40:37say 40, we would have silver well north of $50 per oz, OK.
- 40:44And that's why they call it a slingshot move.
- 40:47And as gold continues to go even higher and higher, it pulls that
- 40:52slingshot even higher and higher.
- 40:54OK, Very interesting variant. Silver is a tiny, tiny, itsy
- 41:09bitsy, tiny little market and that's a good thing.
- 41:13I was talk again with Jordan. Jordan, Oh my gosh, I'm
- 41:18forgetting Jordan Byrne, Roy Byrne.
- 41:21Anyway, yesterday about how small the silver market is and
- 41:24why that makes a difference, why that's a good thing for you.
- 41:28Remember this, just put this in perspective, OK, at $27.00 per
- 41:34oz, the entire mining sector and recycling all the new supply for
- 41:40one whole year, entire new supply of silver to the world is
- 41:46about a billion oz. That's about $27 billion worth
- 41:51of silver that gets total supply, OK.
- 41:55And by the way, that amount, that billion is going down,
- 41:58down, down every year because the amount coming out of mines
- 42:01is going down, down, down. But that's a whole different
- 42:04story, 27 billion, OK, I want to point this out to you.
- 42:08It makes that is so tiny when you compare that to other
- 42:12markets, the gold market, the oil market, right.
- 42:16And I think the oil market is like 10 times bigger than the
- 42:20gold market, OK. But think about this, the market
- 42:24cap of Home Depot, yes, Home Depot.
- 42:27I'm not a big fan of those big hardware stores, but nonetheless
- 42:30the market cap of a hardware, a chain of hardware stores is
- 42:35almost $350 billion. That means the market values
- 42:40Home Depot at over 13 * 13 times more than what?
- 42:46The value of all the silver that's produced in all the world
- 42:50for one whole year. 13 times bigger guys.
- 42:54The silver market has so much room to explode to the upside.
- 42:59It's going to be absolutely crazy as we move into these
- 43:04coming years. I'll be here for you.
- 43:07I want to say thank you to you for joining me today.
- 43:10Joining us here in the basement. I want you to know you're always
- 43:14welcome again. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 43:16Subscribe to the channel, please.
- 43:18Let's all one last little thing. Let's all type eights for the
- 43:25moderators that are here today. They make this possible.
- 43:29Please come back to the basement.
- 43:30You're always welcome. We're having a lot of fun.
- 43:33We got bright, bright prospects in the silver and gold sector.
- 43:36And I'm going to look forward to seeing you again soon.
- 43:39Thank you.
