  the gigafactory near Berlin. He said, he can't give a lot of

  didn't have enough time during this interview but he said it's

  in the Berlin area in its near the new airport.

  And that's a really important thing because people will be

  flying in and out to, you know, the corporate people.

  Basically designers Etc. Will be flying in and out to

  check out Tesla's gigafactory. Super important to have a

  airport nearby. Musk said Giga, Berlin on

  Twitter that he said, we'll build batteries, powertrains and

  vehicles, starting with the model.

  This is really really cool. This is a quick podcast today

  Tesla Factory near. A big city like Berlin.

  Engineers here, especially if the caliber that you need.

  When you're building Tesla, vehicles, and batteries, and the

  off with the model, y batteries, powertrains and vehicles.

  Elon Musk was also asked why he thinks Germany is behind in

  electric cars. And he said, I don't think

  Germany. Is that far behind Everyone

  knows the German engineering is outstanding and that's part of

  the reason we're locating our gigafactory Europe in Germany.

  So anybody near Berlin And you, if you need a job, gigafactory

  for will be opening up in Berlin in the coming years.

  he was accepting the golden steering wheel award given by

  build be ild and he said a joke on stage was kind of funny.

  this award is going to be a thing because eventually we're

  not going to have steering wheels and that's the you know

  that's the overall goal of Tesla driverless cars.

  You just kind of call up a car it's like a Rental service.

  You know you just go on your phone and you know Tesla comes

  you picks you up, takes you wherever you want to go doesn't

  need a steering wheel. It's going to be driven by bots.

  So that's going to be pretty awesome and hopefully you know

  they do a lot of work on this sort of technology in Berlin.

  I'm sure they do most of it in their headquarters, their main

  base, so to speak, but Berlin, like I said before model, why

  batteries powertrains and vehicles.
