- 0:04Speaker 1: And here we are another week of Off the Edge
- 0:07Speaker 1: with your host, me, Cam Jordan. I'm sitting here all
- 0:11Speaker 1: the way frustrated with the season. But you know what,
- 0:14Speaker 1: there's nine weeks left, nine games left, ten weeks left
- 0:17Speaker 1: if you encount the bye week. There's enough time to
- 0:20Speaker 1: turn this season around and make it a possibly good season.
- 0:24Speaker 1: You know, like nobody ever saw the same saluson six games.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Hasn't happened since like two thousand and five. Six games
- 0:30Speaker 1: in a row, never been in this predicament. I don't
- 0:32Speaker 1: know I've ever lost six in a row. But that's
- 0:35Speaker 1: not We're here for it. Look, I'm excited because I've
- 0:38Speaker 1: got one of my former teammates over at Detroit Lions
- 0:41Speaker 1: who are there fighting for the number one spot their
- 0:43Speaker 1: NFC North Division, A linebacker, a captain. I'm bringing my guy,
- 0:48Speaker 1: alex Anzeloni, you know, so just pop this off. Hey,
- 0:59Speaker 1: here we are are for another week of Off the
- 1:01Speaker 1: Edge the podcast with me, your host, Cam Jordan. There's
- 1:04Speaker 1: so many things I'd love to talk about, but I'm
- 1:06Speaker 1: just gonna go ahead and bring in a former teammate
- 1:08Speaker 1: of mine, a captain of the Detroit Lions, a man
- 1:11Speaker 1: who's had one hundred tackles and back to back years
- 1:13Speaker 1: aiming for a third consecutive hunt tackle situation should have
- 1:17Speaker 1: been a Pro Bowl last year, but you know, I digress,
- 1:19Speaker 1: my guy, Alex Azeloney, appreciate you for tapping in Roski. Yeah,
- 1:24Speaker 1: it's about time, you know what I'm saying. Like, I
- 1:27Speaker 1: just watched my friends leave and just like have stellar careers,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and I'm just like, I'm I'm just happy and you know.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I'm a theme. Is it a theme?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Yep? Yeah, they leave and they're just all happy. Whatever.
- 1:42Speaker 1: How is how is Detroit?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Bro?
- 1:43Speaker 1: How do you? How's the transition? You got married that
- 1:45Speaker 1: the year before then? Yeah, now you got a kid
- 1:47Speaker 1: and you know, captain and everything's going well for you.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Just yeah, yeah, I.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Mean, I mean yeah, I mean it's it was definitely
- 1:54Speaker 3: a transition. I mean that twenty twenty one, so, like,
- 1:57Speaker 3: you know, coming into it, I think that I mean, personally,
- 2:01Speaker 3: I knew what it.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Was going to be just talking to Dan and Brad
- 2:04Speaker 2: when we when I first.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Signed here, and you know, they kind of just ripped
- 2:09Speaker 3: it to the studs and you know, we didn't really
- 2:11Speaker 3: have like the horses to really compete, and that's kind
- 2:15Speaker 3: of why we were competing, but we weren't finishing, you know,
- 2:18Speaker 3: the way way we could have. And then you know,
- 2:20Speaker 3: just progressively growing each year through. You know, I'm in
- 2:23Speaker 3: the year four here, so it's is crazy to think
- 2:25Speaker 3: of it's been.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, year eight.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we we love it. We love it. Uh,
- 2:34Speaker 1: just got your let's just talk about it, like you
- 2:36Speaker 1: I was watching, you know, I was like, I looked
- 2:38Speaker 1: up Sunday. You guys were schmacking Tennessee. You know, put
- 2:42Speaker 1: put together a great stretch, beat the hell out of Tennessee,
- 2:45Speaker 1: convincingly beat Minnesota, who I thought was was by for
- 2:49Speaker 1: you know, maybe by for the top of the NFC
- 2:52Speaker 1: North with you guys, and then the week before splacked
- 2:56Speaker 1: the Cowboys with a fifty burger. Just just tell me, like,
- 2:59Speaker 1: you know, the last few weeks, what's been going on,
- 3:01Speaker 1: because clearly the mojo in the confidence has clearly had
- 3:04Speaker 1: a forever in your favor.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, we're we're clicking right now. And you know,
- 3:08Speaker 3: unfortunately it's October. You know, it's still early and and
- 3:11Speaker 3: we're six and one. But at the same time, it's
- 3:13Speaker 3: it's still a good thing. But you know, it's just
- 3:15Speaker 3: playing complimentary football, not turn the ball over. We're getting
- 3:18Speaker 3: a hell of turnovers on defense, and like this past
- 3:22Speaker 3: game we had I forget how many yards on special teams,
- 3:24Speaker 3: but we're a defensive stay and we got a touchdown
- 3:27Speaker 3: on pump return.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So, uh, things are just clicking right now.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, when all three phases is firing, right, Oh
- 3:35Speaker 1: that's a storm, right. You know, how's my guy Jared Guff,
- 3:40Speaker 1: you know, for a fellow cow beart.
- 3:42Speaker 2: No, he's good. He's balling right now. I think he's
- 3:45Speaker 2: you know, very yeah, yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Very in the talks with for MVP in my opinion,
- 3:51Speaker 3: although this past game he threw for like he was
- 3:53Speaker 3: like twelve or fifteen with.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Eighty five yards just because of the fuel position that
- 3:56Speaker 2: he was getting.
- 3:56Speaker 3: He was insane, I think at the ball like at
- 3:59Speaker 3: the two plus twenty yard line on like five possessions.
- 4:02Speaker 2: So I didn't really have much much to work with.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Y'all what forty seven.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Fifty two or something like fifty two to fourteen?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yeah, without even looking at you be like,
- 4:14Speaker 1: oh man, they must have had a hell of a game.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Excuse you what, it's weird?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Hey, Hey. However, the wins come as long as they
- 4:22Speaker 1: keep coming on. Nobody nobody asked like, how did you
- 4:26Speaker 1: get there? They just asked, you know, no doubt speaking
- 4:29Speaker 1: of that, you know, your first sack of the season, though,
- 4:31Speaker 1: Can we talk? Hey, I saw the highlight it like
- 4:37Speaker 1: all out.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Blabby too well, yeah, we had a little fress go on.
- 4:41Speaker 2: I love fres go on.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Yeah, right here, Hey, K came down the pipeline. Yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 1: makes a rude alh come here? Yeah, hey, but you
- 4:49Speaker 1: know what what's beautiful about this is you don't you
- 4:51Speaker 1: can sometimes trick off those freebies you get to.
- 4:54Speaker 2: One hundred percent. You're right, You're right.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Those are the honestly, I have one on Monday night.
- 4:58Speaker 3: We were playing the race last year and it's a
- 5:01Speaker 3: free run. They messed up the protection.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I had a free run. I grew up.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I'm like, this is the hardest act to get really,
- 5:08Speaker 3: it's the layups the hardest.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Hey, the right foot let right layer, like you like,
- 5:13Speaker 1: should I be up?
- 5:14Speaker 2: This right foot down?
- 5:16Speaker 1: And you got them lined up and then you just
- 5:18Speaker 1: fall off of me.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Like yeah, exactly.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I think I think last year or maybe two years ago,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I fell off Lamar Jackson twice in one play like
- 5:25Speaker 1: hit him.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that's that's understandable though, just.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You're like, that's it's like, that's what I'm saying. You're like,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you like, I gotta break down, but I gotta hit,
- 5:35Speaker 1: but I gotta.
- 5:36Speaker 3: There's no there's no there's no teaching. The coach can't
- 5:38Speaker 3: even tell you what to do against them.
- 5:40Speaker 1: No, but you got your sack and another win, which
- 5:43Speaker 1: puts y'all what you're tied in your division?
- 5:46Speaker 2: No first place? You know, yeah we got but Minnesota
- 5:51Speaker 2: lost the game.
- 5:52Speaker 1: So yeah, how do you feel the number one seed?
- 5:57Speaker 2: I mean, it's not even Halloween yet, so it's like, you.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Know, and we're playing at Lambeau this week, so you know,
- 6:03Speaker 3: I feel like that's really the focus.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Yeah. Remember remember the month of November. That's where you make.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Your head exactly exactly. Some say, some say the season
- 6:12Speaker 2: doesn't start till Thanksgiving.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Some some say.
- 6:14Speaker 1: That, hmmm, I mean for some for so for for us,
- 6:20Speaker 1: we're over here fighting for able you know, you know,
- 6:23Speaker 1: it's the greatest thing about you know, the greatest thing
- 6:26Speaker 1: about a seventeen week season. At least there's seventeen games.
- 6:29Speaker 1: You know, there's there's a whole nine left, so a
- 6:32Speaker 1: lot can happen in these nine games. Number one could
- 6:34Speaker 1: could fall down, and number exactly bottoms can get to
- 6:37Speaker 1: midjor top tier. So it just all depends. Do you
- 6:40Speaker 1: think the NFC North is the best division in football?
- 6:45Speaker 3: I'm trying to think before I say yes. I'm trying
- 6:48Speaker 3: to think other divisions who are hot right now?
- 6:51Speaker 2: Do you know any of any.
- 6:54Speaker 1: In the NFC. It's it's all really sort.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Of up there, you know, like yeah, it's it's kind
- 6:59Speaker 3: of to tell, but I mean, yeah, you look at.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Minnesota, Green Bay, Chicago.
- 7:04Speaker 3: I think that they're all, you know, especially Chicago, they're
- 7:07Speaker 3: kind of exceeding expectations with the rookie quarterback right now.
- 7:10Speaker 3: So I think that they're all up there. And yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 3: I would definitely say so.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I mean i'd say overall record I guess you know something,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'd say the NFC East. I mean, if you think
- 7:18Speaker 1: about Washington being Chicago this past weekend put them out, like, yeah.
- 7:23Speaker 3: I said Washington, the Eagles, but then the Giants and
- 7:26Speaker 3: Cowboys kind.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Of right, which doesn't really help the case. But their
- 7:29Speaker 1: top two is contenders, you know, Yeah, that's true. Yeah,
- 7:33Speaker 1: So if you if you say record wise, you're probably
- 7:36Speaker 1: looking at NFC North is strong to destroy.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Themselves, right, Yeah, yeah, we got there's a blood bath
- 7:42Speaker 3: coming and we see who comes out.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Absolutely yeah. I mean all the other divisions like it's
- 7:49Speaker 1: it's all winnable. They're all within a game or two
- 7:51Speaker 1: of each other. Inn Seed North, y'all still sort of
- 7:53Speaker 1: a game or two within each other, just at the
- 7:56Speaker 1: tops of division. Which yeah, like I said, it's a
- 8:00Speaker 1: bloodbath coming, there's gonna be a reckoning. I was like,
- 8:04Speaker 1: speaking of your division, did you see, uh, did you
- 8:05Speaker 1: see the Chicago Bears and was that Jane Daniels their battle?
- 8:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and my dog Tyreek just yeah on that hell, Mary.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Man, it was not good.
- 8:16Speaker 1: He was out there pointing, Yeah, that was playing around.
- 8:19Speaker 1: He was waving. He didn't even he didn't even realize
- 8:22Speaker 1: that play had happened.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I saw.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I saw a picture of the Bears fans like pointing
- 8:27Speaker 3: at him to turn around.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's stuff. And I know I know him personally,
- 8:34Speaker 2: and you know he's a good dude.
- 8:36Speaker 1: He's just he's not a Gator boy.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Huh No, he went Miaomi. Yeah close, but no, he Yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 2: that's tough.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That's college rival.
- 8:47Speaker 2: No, what state Poor State Georgia l s U.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But the hell no, this is so we talk about
- 8:54Speaker 1: when we're talking about colleges. You can't have multiple rivals, Bro,
- 8:57Speaker 1: that doesn't make sense. You went to Florida. You either
- 9:00Speaker 1: you pick one and you stick to it. What the
- 9:01Speaker 1: hell is?
- 9:02Speaker 2: No?
- 9:03Speaker 3: Well, okay, so Georgia Georgia we played a neutral site
- 9:06Speaker 3: in Jacksonville.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Sure, So it's like, is that our rival or is
- 9:10Speaker 2: it Florida State? That we play both of them every year? Yeah?
- 9:14Speaker 1: But Florida and now we.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Play LSU and I hate LSU do why?
- 9:18Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 9:19Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:20Speaker 1: That's on. Like I was gonna say, I assume for
- 9:24Speaker 1: Florida would be like a Miami situation because you got
- 9:27Speaker 1: a lot of Miami talent that goes to Florida, or
- 9:29Speaker 1: it would be like you know Florida.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah, we just we just don't play him every year.
- 9:33Speaker 1: So it's like so okay, yeah, you know better than me?
- 9:37Speaker 1: For me, like, I hate everything that is Cardinal Red,
- 9:40Speaker 1: like the stupid dancing tree that's over at Stanford. We
- 9:44Speaker 1: have something called the Acts. We've been fighting for it
- 9:46Speaker 1: for like one hundred and twelve years.
- 9:47Speaker 2: That's cool. That's a cool rival.
- 9:49Speaker 1: That's a great ribvaly. You can't have multiple risings. There's
- 9:52Speaker 1: not enough hate in my heart. So like that's like,
- 9:55Speaker 1: that's like, now you're in the NFC North, who's your rival?
- 9:58Speaker 1: Like we know, we know Green Bay, Minnesota's the viral.
- 10:01Speaker 1: It's sort of like everybody hates everybody everyone.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of I don't know.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I don't even know all of them.
- 10:09Speaker 2: All of them.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You've been up there four years?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I hate all of them.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Okay, Liza been down the past thirty years.
- 10:18Speaker 2: So it's like they want revenge on everyone.
- 10:20Speaker 1: At least m m. Okay, there we go. Because I
- 10:24Speaker 1: was like, you know what it is with New Orleans,
- 10:25Speaker 1: Like if we don't win anything but two games, it
- 10:28Speaker 1: better be against Atlanta.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta hate everybody, Like yeah.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I mean it's a lot of it's a relative, is.
- 10:38Speaker 1: It now that you're now that you're part of Detroit?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Do you do you not hate the Falcons?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Like?
- 10:43Speaker 1: Has that alleviated? No, that's so dism The hate is
- 10:50Speaker 1: real there, you know. Yeah, Yeah, that's just that's just crazy,
- 10:55Speaker 1: all right. I mean with you guys being at the
- 10:56Speaker 1: number one position, you know, you know, take it back
- 10:58Speaker 1: to the NFL number one spot in your division. There's
- 11:02Speaker 1: much success that you guys had last year hitting the
- 11:04Speaker 1: NFC Divisional Game championship. Yep, that's I'll say, what's the
- 11:08Speaker 1: mentality now.
- 11:10Speaker 2: You know, I mean you know you've been there?
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, I've been I've been close to like the feeling. Yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 1: so like we deserve it.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I'm saying, yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 3: But like you know in twenty eighteen when we had
- 11:22Speaker 3: to like regroup going into twenty nineteen, that that sucks,
- 11:26Speaker 3: you know, just because you know what it takes to
- 11:27Speaker 3: get there, and you know it's.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Like can we do it again?
- 11:31Speaker 3: And you know that's that's the hard part because every
- 11:33Speaker 3: year is new, and you know, that's kind of like
- 11:36Speaker 3: the biggest lesson that I learned from. And that's really why,
- 11:40Speaker 3: like last year, I was so upset when we lost,
- 11:42Speaker 3: because a lot of these young dudes on our team
- 11:44Speaker 3: have no clue what it takes to get there, and you.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Know, just just you start back at zero, right.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Like four years ago, what was your record to what
- 11:54Speaker 1: it is now? You know, like four years ago you
- 11:56Speaker 1: guys were on the cusp of or like I'm a hey,
- 11:58Speaker 1: are we and rebuild mo? Whatever? It is, and now
- 12:01Speaker 1: you're like, all right, we've got some dogs, we got talent,
- 12:03Speaker 1: we have the ability. Now we have to show each
- 12:06Speaker 1: and every week we're still top dogs.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Exactly. Yeah, it's a climb.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And then you get the playoffs and it's one missed up.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You'd be like, damn, we have to restart it all exactly. Yea,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'll say, what's what's what's Dan Campbell like as a
- 12:21Speaker 1: head coach? Because we had him as a tight end coach, but.
- 12:24Speaker 3: As a head coach, bro, everyone asked me like what
- 12:28Speaker 3: was he like in New Orleans? It's like just I
- 12:29Speaker 3: don't know, he like led a couple of teams right,
- 12:32Speaker 3: Like it wasn't he wasn't speaking in front of everyone frequently,
- 12:36Speaker 3: you know, like when Seawan was like not there.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Exactly. But that's what what what's the what's the difference
- 12:44Speaker 1: between like the the the Sean Payton versus the Dan Campbell.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Yeah, he has some Sean in them. Like there are
- 12:50Speaker 3: times when you know, you could see it in his face,
- 12:53Speaker 3: like oh, you know, like he's all like the jovial
- 12:56Speaker 3: day that.
- 12:57Speaker 2: A lot of people see in his pressers.
- 12:59Speaker 3: He's kind of like, you know, he's got some he's
- 13:01Speaker 3: got some backbone to him, right.
- 13:04Speaker 1: The man came out like a beginning with said he
- 13:06Speaker 1: was gonna buy somebody's knee caps off scratch Cross.
- 13:08Speaker 2: I'm saying, I'm saying that. Yeah, I've known him for
- 13:10Speaker 2: eight years now, and I walk around I'm like, hmm,
- 13:13Speaker 2: maybe I.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Shouldn't say I to him right now. I haven't mess
- 13:16Speaker 3: with him right now. So now he is I think
- 13:19Speaker 3: in that regard here in a healthy way. And but
- 13:22Speaker 3: now he's he's uh, he's like grown into the head
- 13:26Speaker 3: coaching role and just like blossom really and he just
- 13:29Speaker 3: he is who he is, and that's the coolest thing
- 13:31Speaker 3: about him. He doesn't have to pretend to be anyone
- 13:33Speaker 3: else or you know, everyone, He like Garners the respect
- 13:36Speaker 3: of a room right away, and that's just he is.
- 13:39Speaker 1: And he played for over a decade bro attitude like
- 13:42Speaker 1: he's got all the metal in the world. Speaking of that,
- 13:44Speaker 1: like you also got you know, Aaron Glenn my dog
- 13:49Speaker 1: as a d C. And you know, how's he so
- 13:51Speaker 1: effective in helping players, you know, reach their full potential?
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean it's kind of like I said that.
- 13:57Speaker 3: You know, in twenty twenty one, we didn't really have
- 14:00Speaker 3: you know that, I would say necessarily the talent to
- 14:03Speaker 3: really you know, compete, you know, at a high level,
- 14:07Speaker 3: and you know that's.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Just the fact of the matter.
- 14:09Speaker 3: And a g I feel like the best thing that
- 14:11Speaker 3: he does is putting his players in position to succeed.
- 14:14Speaker 2: No matter you know, how good or how bad.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Like even this past these past few games, we've had
- 14:18Speaker 3: guys at the DM position after Hutch got hurt, you know,
- 14:22Speaker 3: having to step up, and then whether that's manufacturing pressures
- 14:24Speaker 3: and things of that nature, it's it's pretty impressive.
- 14:28Speaker 2: And you know he's grown as a coordinator.
- 14:30Speaker 3: But the best thing about him, though is I think
- 14:32Speaker 3: he's just a good leader. And I feel like he
- 14:35Speaker 3: just has that orror about him too that you know,
- 14:37Speaker 3: similar to Dan.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Yeah, talk about Brow. How is it Alex Angeloni the leader?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Bro?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Like, how do you think you lead? Bro?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Uh?
- 14:49Speaker 3: I mean that's funny, like because Mark, when Marcus signed here,
- 14:54Speaker 3: he's like, you know, it's different seeing Alex in this role,
- 14:58Speaker 3: you know, which I understand, just be because you know,
- 15:00Speaker 3: I was a young puff in New Orleans and I
- 15:03Speaker 3: feel like the only way you could really lead as
- 15:06Speaker 3: a young player in New Orleans is by example, because
- 15:08Speaker 3: you know, the vocal leaders were there.
- 15:12Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean I just lead by example, do
- 15:14Speaker 2: my thing. But then you know, we've got to keep
- 15:16Speaker 2: accountability in my teammates. And you know, I've kind of
- 15:19Speaker 2: learned different you know, styles along the way.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I feel like, you know, even your leadership style just
- 15:24Speaker 3: you know, I feel like you're not afraid to say
- 15:27Speaker 3: what you think.
- 15:27Speaker 2: But at the same time, you have relationship with everyone.
- 15:29Speaker 3: And you know, I'm not necessarily like the raw raw leader,
- 15:33Speaker 3: you know, like some people are.
- 15:35Speaker 2: And that's just kind of kind of how I am.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're able to relate, and that's the greatest
- 15:39Speaker 1: thing ever, bro, Yeah, being being on that level, like hey, bro,
- 15:42Speaker 1: let me talk to you real quick, and so you
- 15:43Speaker 1: get guys out of there, you know, get out of their.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Sensitive Yeah, And that's the thing is like you have
- 15:49Speaker 3: to have that relationship or else. You know.
- 15:51Speaker 2: It's just like damn, this dude thick.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Yeah, dude is literally just so he's like he's always
- 15:59Speaker 1: have to be bro Like if you don't have relationship
- 16:01Speaker 1: with him, Like, bro, like you you're not my dad,
- 16:04Speaker 1: you know.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Like the facts, especially especially with the young players nowadays.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Hey, these twenty twenty kids is different.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Now different and they have money sensitive.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Yeah, league sensitive. They got to be coddled. Like it's weird, bro,
- 16:18Speaker 1: stay tuned, We'll be right back. I read somewhere you
- 16:25Speaker 1: were the NFL's most underappreciated players, like one of the
- 16:28Speaker 1: one of the most unappreciated players in the league. You know,
- 16:31Speaker 1: your teammate Aleen McNeil had called you like the lebron
- 16:34Speaker 1: of the Lion's defense, you know what I'm saying, Like
- 16:38Speaker 1: you have to calling them things now, Hey, yeah, others.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I know it's funny and I'm like in your eight
- 16:44Speaker 3: and I'm like the old the old guy on the team,
- 16:47Speaker 3: you know what I mean. And I was like, this
- 16:50Speaker 3: is not how it was like in New Orleans.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Your eight was like the median age. But no, yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 2: I feel you know, that's a compliment. You know. I
- 16:58Speaker 2: think he just means it in a in a way
- 17:00Speaker 2: if I just tried, you.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Know, that's just my role, you know, yeah, just kind
- 17:04Speaker 3: of who I am. I kind of help do the
- 17:05Speaker 3: math out on the field and you know, figure get
- 17:08Speaker 3: us out of certain situations and you know, just kind
- 17:11Speaker 3: of with.
- 17:13Speaker 1: The athletic ability meets meets the actual knowledge the experience
- 17:17Speaker 1: and knowledge combined in something like that, I can help you.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yeah, right, something like that. Right.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Hey, so do you guys, what do you guys do
- 17:24Speaker 1: as a defense You guys do defense dinner?
- 17:26Speaker 2: We don't. We don't thought, we don't do a defensive dinner.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I know I didn't.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I didn't bring the tradition. I think we did a
- 17:34Speaker 3: little bit in twenty twenty one, but it.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Kind of just fell off.
- 17:38Speaker 3: But yeah, no, nothing, I know we do like the
- 17:43Speaker 3: wings on Kirby has been bringing wings in on Thursdays
- 17:47Speaker 3: or something like that Thursday.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, just some little.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Little watch watch the defense as a team.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, we're a tight knit group, honest slaves. And
- 17:56Speaker 2: that's kind of natural. It kind of like happened organically.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Mmm, I'm back, don't do don't do any dinners. You don't.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You don't have him over at the at the Angeloni.
- 18:03Speaker 3: House, b crib and everyone everyone's like married people are
- 18:08Speaker 3: having kids left and right.
- 18:09Speaker 2: It's it's it's.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Hmm, I'm literally going to be late for my defensive
- 18:16Speaker 1: line dinner today. I'm like, I'm like, you know, it
- 18:21Speaker 1: is what it's.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Where are you going? Uh?
- 18:24Speaker 1: Walk on? Walk on? It's just to watch watch the game,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you know, watch the game or two just again, just.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Make sure hang out, like make sure the spirits are high.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Make make sure the spirits are high. Hangout. We switch
- 18:35Speaker 1: from like so we now we do defense dinners every
- 18:37Speaker 1: every other Thursday, and then we do like position groups
- 18:42Speaker 1: every other something after that night. So the D Line
- 18:45Speaker 1: this year wanted to go on Mondays. So now like
- 18:47Speaker 1: we can actually fully relaxed because second exactly, it makes
- 18:53Speaker 1: a little bit more sense now not like it's actually
- 18:55Speaker 1: like full relax. How are you like, you know, what
- 18:57Speaker 1: was this game? Like? Now I can talk about like,
- 19:00Speaker 1: hey we mess up this D Line game? Are you good?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Or like you know, like, hey, let's keep going whatever
- 19:05Speaker 1: it takes, let's keep going. It's a little bit more chill.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I sort of like a Monday switch up.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Monday. Monday is a good night for that, right, Yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Monday football. You got basketball games now series happening. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 1: a lokey, lokey upset. We was out and we played
- 19:23Speaker 1: the played the Chargers and Dodgers World.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Series in l A. Yes, when you hit the walk off.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And we're two and we're two and five, and I'm like,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I can't do it like this. Oh if we're six
- 19:38Speaker 1: and one, I'm sitting right there right walk off home run,
- 19:45Speaker 1: I'm I'm on my I'm on my iPad watching film.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Bro just all my Microsoft surface whatever whatever it is.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I'm watching film. Like now, we got to find a
- 19:53Speaker 1: way to get a win. But shoot, all right, brouh
- 19:56Speaker 1: we got we got hallows Eve coming on? Do you
- 19:59Speaker 1: celebrate hollow like I've seen that family fits.
- 20:02Speaker 3: But yeah, you know, we got some little family family fits.
- 20:06Speaker 3: My dog, my son Coop, has a.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Little school Halloween parraide. He's gonna be a.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Ghost, just classic. We're more we're just doing the traditional
- 20:14Speaker 3: stuff right now. And as they get older, they'll they'll
- 20:17Speaker 3: choose what they want to be.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, they'll choose that they want to be. Yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: most I've ever heard in.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Costume in costume.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yeah all right, So he's going as a ghost and
- 20:33Speaker 1: you guys are.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Going as what well, okay, so school pary ghosts Halloween
- 20:39Speaker 3: Thursday night.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I think we're going to be a family of bats.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Really really, I didn't choose it. I didn't choose it.
- 20:52Speaker 1: You never do.
- 20:52Speaker 2: And I voiced my opinion.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I was trying to go for Power Rangers. I was like,
- 20:57Speaker 1: I want to be the White Rage you say. In fact,
- 21:00Speaker 1: my daughter nixed it. Bro, look at these johnts like
- 21:03Speaker 1: these so an old oh to the Power Rangers. You
- 21:08Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Like, I was like, I want
- 21:10Speaker 1: to be White Ranger and I'm gonna get some shoes done.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to clean some So my daughter was like, yeah,
- 21:15Speaker 1: so we're going We're going this Princess and the Frog
- 21:16Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be Tiana. So daddy and you could
- 21:19Speaker 1: you could be Prince Navin. And I was like, I
- 21:20Speaker 1: ain't know. I was like, no, no, no, I'm a
- 21:23Speaker 1: village no shadow shadow Man, Yeah yeah shadow Man. So
- 21:28Speaker 1: I got, you know, chopped off all the face.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Of hair a weekend there you go.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. So you know, some people are happy with
- 21:36Speaker 1: it in the house. Some people aren't. Uh my daughter
- 21:39Speaker 1: deemed uh my wife Nikki, uh Mama Odie. She's like,
- 21:44Speaker 1: she's like, your mama Odi. I was like, I was like, damn, baby,
- 21:49Speaker 1: I don't know what she's trying to tell you. She's like, yeah, yeah, mom,
- 21:55Speaker 1: you're old and so your mama od I.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Was like, yeah, yeah, that's tough.
- 22:01Speaker 1: You got to get you a girl. Bro, Like, my
- 22:03Speaker 1: daughter loves me.
- 22:04Speaker 2: So we have so I thought you just had cool. No,
- 22:08Speaker 2: so cool. And then we had Carter and last she's
- 22:14Speaker 2: about to be a year old. And November twenty ninth,
- 22:16Speaker 2: well we got yeah related out.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Oh double dad duties. Yeah okay, so you know bro,
- 22:23Speaker 1: and like in two years she will love you unconditionally
- 22:27Speaker 1: like you think you think your wife loves you, nor
- 22:30Speaker 1: your daughter is gonna be like yeah, so where are
- 22:32Speaker 1: we going? No? No, baby, I'm getting in the car. No, yeah,
- 22:36Speaker 1: you have to stay.
- 22:38Speaker 2: I love it.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Any any any girl after that just hit or miss
- 22:43Speaker 1: the first who love me? And my third one is
- 22:45Speaker 1: I think she's annoyed with me at all time. She's
- 22:47Speaker 1: just like she looks at me. She's like, so you
- 22:50Speaker 1: brought home bacon, right, all right, get out of here.
- 22:52Speaker 3: But yeah, I may just be the young youngest child.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Could just be that.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I mean, I'll be trying to so the love. I'm like, yeah, baby,
- 23:01Speaker 1: come on me, you gonna have a date. I want mommy.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Damn yeah, I don't.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I don't know this feeling, I said, what is what
- 23:07Speaker 1: is it? This projection? Wait? Housekeeping up?
- 23:12Speaker 2: He's three, okay, three.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Walking talking, got some got some attitude, will tell you no, Okay,
- 23:18Speaker 1: I was.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Thinking about it. I was like him and uh, if
- 23:21Speaker 2: him in Tank were the same age, they probably be
- 23:24Speaker 2: getting along. Get along. Well put it that way, manly men.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Just yeah, hey, walking around trying to wrestle any and everybody.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah, like every day at school, like, uh, it's physical
- 23:36Speaker 3: again today.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, I'm trying to tell you.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Like, I'm sorry, but he just really likes he likes
- 23:44Speaker 1: his friends.
- 23:44Speaker 2: He just wants to exactly exactly. It's his love language.
- 23:48Speaker 1: That's his love language, bro. You know, like, it's not
- 23:50Speaker 1: it's not him, it's me. I did it. I'm sorry,
- 23:53Speaker 1: right before he goes to bed. There's definitely WrestleMania going
- 23:56Speaker 1: on at all times.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, doing flips and stuff.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Man, Hey, I love that you're a leader, bro. I
- 24:03Speaker 1: love that you came on the pod blest Us with
- 24:05Speaker 1: some wisdom. Hey. You know, go be a dad, bro,
- 24:08Speaker 1: go be a husband.
- 24:10Speaker 2: You know, appreciate your camp.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah, brother, Hey, I mean my dog alexand Seloni has
- 24:24Speaker 1: come a long way from University of Florida product to now,
- 24:28Speaker 1: you know, being drafted to the Northern Saints to being
- 24:32Speaker 1: a captain, a leader, if you will, a leader of men,
- 24:36Speaker 1: if you so shall over at the Detroit Lions where
- 24:38Speaker 1: they're sitting at the top of the division. Uh. Super
- 24:42Speaker 1: happy for him, man, I mean, I know what it's
- 24:45Speaker 1: like to have great success in the league. I'm in
- 24:48Speaker 1: an unfamiliar territory with not having great success. Uh, mentoring
- 24:54Speaker 1: young guys, being just you know, after starting off hot
- 24:57Speaker 1: two and oh to two and six, you know, frustrated,
- 25:01Speaker 1: maybe not getting you know, the edge pass rushes yet
- 25:04Speaker 1: that I'm accustomed to. But you knowing that, uh, you know,
- 25:08Speaker 1: you have to trust the organization, trust that we have
- 25:10Speaker 1: a path. Again, there's ten weeks left, nine games left.
- 25:14Speaker 1: We could easily best case scenario eleven and six. I'm
- 25:17Speaker 1: always gonna rock with my Saints and have the highest
- 25:20Speaker 1: of hopes. After a lost Sunday, it does hurt, It
- 25:24Speaker 1: stings it again. I don't know, I've never really been
- 25:26Speaker 1: here so irritated, irked. Message to the fans, man, like,
- 25:31Speaker 1: just rock with us, you know we need we need
- 25:34Speaker 1: all the energy, all the positive vibes. I had old lady,
- 25:38Speaker 1: older lady yesterday come up to me randomly at the
- 25:43Speaker 1: at the store, and she was like, look, you don't
- 25:45Speaker 1: know what it's like to be here when when of
- 25:47Speaker 1: the good they were the aints wearing paper bags. We're
- 25:49Speaker 1: not there yet. And I said we're not there yet.
- 25:51Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, there's She's like, we can still come out,
- 25:54Speaker 1: we could get it done. I but fully, I say,
- 25:56Speaker 1: you know what, shout out to that to that older lady,
- 26:00Speaker 1: you know, like shout out to a breadth of positivity.
- 26:03Speaker 1: We're talking about at a school at a school visit,
- 26:06Speaker 1: kids were like, hey, we can still, we can still
- 26:08Speaker 1: do this. You know what the New York Giants did.
- 26:10Speaker 1: And there was a year when the New Giants barely
- 26:12Speaker 1: broke more than just even. And we've got plenty of
- 26:15Speaker 1: time to correct the ship. Now. When I said plenty
- 26:18Speaker 1: of time, it's about two to three week window here.
- 26:20Speaker 1: So rock with us. You know, when we come back
- 26:23Speaker 1: home after this Carolina game, we're gonna need all that energy.
- 26:26Speaker 1: We're gonna need all the vibes we're gonna get. We're
- 26:29Speaker 1: gonna get back right. We got to be able to
- 26:32Speaker 1: get ourselves right. There's enough people in this building. Think
- 26:34Speaker 1: about how many guys are coming back healthy er each
- 26:37Speaker 1: and every week, which is a crazy thing. To say,
- 26:39Speaker 1: in this league, we just got to come back healthy
- 26:41Speaker 1: and all the same mindset. We have to dominate, which
- 26:46Speaker 1: you know, just thinking about the game, I'm also thinking
- 26:49Speaker 1: about uh, somebody like you know, somebody media whatever it
- 26:54Speaker 1: was portraying my guy, Uh, Nathan Shepherd. It was like
- 26:59Speaker 1: some lovenly offensive lineman from the Chargers. He had said
- 27:04Speaker 1: that he had never seen. You know, it was the
- 27:07Speaker 1: dirtiest play he's ever seen from a d tackle who
- 27:11Speaker 1: had won, who had just won on the guy he
- 27:13Speaker 1: got beat, and then because he got beat, his quarterback
- 27:16Speaker 1: got hit. Nathan Shepherd is trying to get Justin Herbert,
- 27:20Speaker 1: who's a bigger guy who can take a hit, get
- 27:23Speaker 1: him down. Falls, you know, hits him somewhere in like
- 27:26Speaker 1: the mid the mid rift area. You know, you feel
- 27:29Speaker 1: like abdomen's stomach whatever. It was an initial legal hit.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Falls falls through the fighting of Justin Herbert, who like
- 27:38Speaker 1: underhand pitches the ball to running back. My guy, Nathan
- 27:42Speaker 1: Shepherd had no idea. His head is turned towards the
- 27:45Speaker 1: end zone, so all he knows he has a quarterback
- 27:48Speaker 1: is clutches. He's trying to get him down and the
- 27:49Speaker 1: guy is still fighting him. So he activates a gator role,
- 27:53Speaker 1: which have you done that? Initially I think it's not
- 27:57Speaker 1: a play that you even talk about, but because there's
- 28:00Speaker 1: some sort of internal conflict fight there this oh that's
- 28:04Speaker 1: the guy's name is Bozeman. Yeah, there we go from
- 28:07Speaker 1: the Chargers, jumps on Nathan Shepherd after the play, like
- 28:12Speaker 1: mashes him on the ground, pokes my guy, Nate Shepherd's eye,
- 28:15Speaker 1: and then has the audacity to say, well, you know,
- 28:18Speaker 1: it's one of the dirtiest plays I've ever seen. And
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm like, you play football, you know what a dirty
- 28:24Speaker 1: play is. Dirty plays? You know, multiple plays later after
- 28:27Speaker 1: the whistles blown, you still trying to like clear the top,
- 28:30Speaker 1: you know, like that's a dirty play. A dirty play
- 28:33Speaker 1: is like, hey, the quarterback obviously doesn't have the ball
- 28:36Speaker 1: and it's probably like headed towards the sideline and you
- 28:38Speaker 1: meet him after the white You know that's not it's
- 28:41Speaker 1: it's a play that you probably prefer not to have.
- 28:45Speaker 1: But honestly, you know, with how it started, dirtyest play,
- 28:50Speaker 1: that's crazy. Where As we as we think the game,
- 28:55Speaker 1: everything that entailed, how you start off hot two and six,
- 28:58Speaker 1: I keep saying this two and six, so this hurts,
- 29:01Speaker 1: you know, just you see the season at this point
- 29:05Speaker 1: as surprising because you start off to and oh, dropping
- 29:08Speaker 1: forty points a game for the first two games, and
- 29:10Speaker 1: then to be struggling sometimes you know, get it together.
- 29:15Speaker 1: You know, you see offense show up, defense show up,
- 29:18Speaker 1: special teams show up, and then all of a sudden
- 29:20Speaker 1: there's glaring inefficiencies at defense and offense. It's then even
- 29:26Speaker 1: you know, I think special teams have been damn good job.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I'm gonna ride for that one for sure.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I think that there's a chance that we get this
- 29:35Speaker 1: thing right. There's been players meetings, there's been captains meetings.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I mean, everybody wants to be in a better place
- 29:43Speaker 1: and that's what we're fighting for. So going to the Panthers,
- 29:47Speaker 1: the score of the last time we put on them
- 29:49Speaker 1: forty seven to ten, that doesn't mean anything going in
- 29:52Speaker 1: this week. All that matters is we find a way
- 29:54Speaker 1: to get back to the win column. Confidence has to
- 29:57Speaker 1: be boosted, whether that's you know, possible dare Car comes back,
- 30:00Speaker 1: whether that's you know, another office a lineman comes back,
- 30:04Speaker 1: whether that's you know, another dB comes back healthier, whatever
- 30:07Speaker 1: it is, you know, if we say, hey, our best eleven.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I take my best eleven win healthy versus anybody, And
- 30:11Speaker 1: I still say that we have to get healthy, we
- 30:13Speaker 1: have to get right, We have to be able to
- 30:15Speaker 1: be on top of our assignments. You know, we got
- 30:17Speaker 1: Pete Warner let back last week and that was huge
- 30:20Speaker 1: for the defense. You know, the way he's able to
- 30:23Speaker 1: go latter side aside underpreciated a lot like Alex Adelonia
- 30:27Speaker 1: in his defense. So it's just, you know, we have
- 30:30Speaker 1: to be better. It's not like you got guys giving up.
- 30:33Speaker 1: It's not like that you you've got you see defeat
- 30:35Speaker 1: in their eyes. Guys want to win. Talking about guys
- 30:38Speaker 1: giving up or even typing out. Just a quick pivot
- 30:42Speaker 1: around and looking around the league. This new page, bro like,
- 30:45Speaker 1: you know, I'm not gonna say it's all guys born
- 30:47Speaker 1: in you know, these two thousands, with these two thousands kids,
- 30:50Speaker 1: is a little bit different. You know, I say, I
- 30:52Speaker 1: see a couple of burking bags being carried by athletes.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Now I see a couple couple of guys who whatever,
- 30:59Speaker 1: we won't even we wan't just cuss it, but just
- 31:01Speaker 1: know these thousand.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Kids, it's a little different.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Late nineties it's a different time.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Uh.
- 31:08Speaker 1: You know, I if guys are tired, I've seen d
- 31:10Speaker 1: lyman who are tired, you know, maybe like tap out,
- 31:12Speaker 1: cross her feet, Hey, give me out for a reper two.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Uh.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I've never heard anyone openly admit maybe it's like I said,
- 31:21Speaker 1: it's the times of change, and openly admit that they
- 31:24Speaker 1: were gassed or exhausted as to be you know, like
- 31:28Speaker 1: an like an athlete, athlete for so long. You saw
- 31:32Speaker 1: that Anthony Richardson, I just saw a pressure clip of like, hey,
- 31:37Speaker 1: Anthony Richardson was said he was tired, and so he
- 31:40Speaker 1: tapped himself out as a starting quarterback. I don't know
- 31:42Speaker 1: if that's even allowed. I mean, clearly the Colts probably
- 31:45Speaker 1: feel some type of way about it, since they're sending
- 31:47Speaker 1: a clear message starting Joe Flacco this Sunday. I mean,
- 31:51Speaker 1: it's it's one of those times. So you're a you're
- 31:53Speaker 1: a high draft pick, you were sort of hurt last year.
- 31:56Speaker 1: You've got a lot to prove. And I think Anthony
- 31:59Speaker 1: Richardson has all the talent in the world. I think,
- 32:02Speaker 1: you know, and I don't think a lot of guys
- 32:04Speaker 1: when it comes down to talent, but mental fortitude is
- 32:07Speaker 1: part of the game as well, and so you know,
- 32:10Speaker 1: for the future, just stay tough, you know, train your
- 32:13Speaker 1: body to the point of no return in the off season.
- 32:15Speaker 1: So when you're getting those uncomfortable, unfamiliar positions. The eighteen
- 32:19Speaker 1: nineteen play drives the you know, Anthony Richardson esque sideline,
- 32:25Speaker 1: the sideline seventy five play, seventy five yards just to
- 32:28Speaker 1: have to go back to the huddle and run another play.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Be ready. That's a part of the craft. That's a
- 32:34Speaker 1: part of being obsessive with the craft. It irks me
- 32:37Speaker 1: sometimes have you been on you know, my own team
- 32:41Speaker 1: or defense, and I'm like, how are you tired after
- 32:42Speaker 1: two or three plays? Like you had an off season?
- 32:45Speaker 1: How are your feet crossed? How are your hands on
- 32:47Speaker 1: your hips? Like, yo, you're sending a message. I was
- 32:51Speaker 1: told early on in my career. Everybody's telling a story.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Are you reading the right page? Are you.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Like?
- 32:59Speaker 1: What do you presented to the world. So that's why
- 33:02Speaker 1: I've always believed that, you know, this idea is like
- 33:04Speaker 1: no fear, like this is the last warrior mindset. Because
- 33:08Speaker 1: I love to see when somebody has that, oh I'm
- 33:10Speaker 1: hurting you hit a tight end you hit a tight
- 33:13Speaker 1: end and next thing, you know, like that tight end,
- 33:15Speaker 1: it sees you and he's like avoid avoiding gaze. You
- 33:17Speaker 1: get that, Mike Tyson feel like I'm looking at him,
- 33:19Speaker 1: staring at him. The first time he looks away, he
- 33:22Speaker 1: broke it. Like That's the type of game that I
- 33:24Speaker 1: love and I love to play that way. You bring
- 33:26Speaker 1: your hands to work every day to choke a person
- 33:30Speaker 1: on the opposite side of you, out to break his mind,
- 33:35Speaker 1: body and will, and then you have your way. But
- 33:38Speaker 1: you know, that's just the older school version that I've
- 33:41Speaker 1: always enjoyed playing the football that I love, the one
- 33:44Speaker 1: that you don't catch, you know, flags for targeting, the
- 33:46Speaker 1: ones you don't worry about. You know, was that you
- 33:49Speaker 1: know where your hand position was on a quarterback, like
- 33:52Speaker 1: whatever that is. I just love that good old like
- 33:54Speaker 1: hit him in the mount type football, you know, Marshall Lynch,
- 33:58Speaker 1: Hit him again, hit him again, hit him again until
- 34:00Speaker 1: you don't want no more. But anyways, that's uh I
- 34:04Speaker 1: come from. Apparently, you know a different time. I grew
- 34:08Speaker 1: up watching Chris Domans. You know, I grew up watching
- 34:11Speaker 1: Keith Millard. You know, I grew up watching like wanting
- 34:15Speaker 1: to be like Jawn Curse, Warren Sapp, Mike Strahand even
- 34:19Speaker 1: at the you know, at the tell end of it.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I love the guys like Bruce Smith, the monsters of
- 34:24Speaker 1: the game, Deacon Jones, Reggie white Man. You know, there's
- 34:28Speaker 1: just so many monsters of the game that that's how
- 34:31Speaker 1: you grew up watching, So that's what you immolate. Now
- 34:34Speaker 1: it's a lot of nest guys. Anyways, that I could,
- 34:37Speaker 1: I could digress it and go on a real rant,
- 34:39Speaker 1: but I appreciate y'all tuning in. Man, I'm just gonna say,
- 34:43Speaker 1: appreciate everybody who has supported me, uh from the first
- 34:47Speaker 1: season well in to my second season. I've seen a
- 34:49Speaker 1: lot of col love out there and Go Bears a
- 34:51Speaker 1: lot of a lot of young guns out there. He
- 34:52Speaker 1: posted the podcast on IG So I'm gonna ask you'll
- 34:56Speaker 1: do the same, you know. I appreciate y'all for tuning in.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask yll to keep listen and tell your
- 35:00Speaker 1: friends about it. Share it with your Alma maters, share
