- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past seven years or so, whenever
- 0:07Speaker 1: the topic of Jeffrey Epstein would come up, very rarely
- 0:10Speaker 1: would people talk about Zoro Ranch, and instead you had
- 0:13Speaker 1: a lot of focus on the island, on Florida and
- 0:17Speaker 1: on New York. But Zoro Ranch has always held a
- 0:21Speaker 1: very important place in the story of Jeffrey Epstein. And
- 0:26Speaker 1: the fact that the federal government basically told the State
- 0:29Speaker 1: of New Mexico to get screwed and not investigate any
- 0:33Speaker 1: further is just another gigantic tell. You know, people want
- 0:37Speaker 1: to talk about cover ups and you know, conspiracies whenever
- 0:41Speaker 1: a new case pops up. I mean, people are talking
- 0:43Speaker 1: about Andrew Tait Shue for God's sakes, like that's some
- 0:47Speaker 1: big conspiracy and he wasn't really arrested. It was just ai.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I mean, that's how cooks some people's brains are. And
- 0:53Speaker 1: while I want to blame the people that have broken
- 0:56Speaker 1: their brains by filling them with a bunch of bullshit,
- 0:59Speaker 1: we have to be honest and understand that the institutions
- 1:03Speaker 1: play a part. If they were honest, if they would
- 1:06Speaker 1: have told us the truth, if they would have just
- 1:08Speaker 1: been transparent. Then they wouldn't have to worry about all
- 1:10Speaker 1: these conspiracies popping up. They wouldn't have to worry about
- 1:13Speaker 1: people making things up about Charlie Kirk. And that's why
- 1:16Speaker 1: I'm so adamant about transparency. And whenever you're dealing with
- 1:19Speaker 1: something heavy, something serious like Epstein, you have to be transparent.
- 1:26Speaker 1: You have to tell the people what's going on, and
- 1:28Speaker 1: you can't bullshit around because if you're dishonest and you're
- 1:31Speaker 1: not transparent and you straight up lie, this is the result.
- 1:34Speaker 1: People do not believe the institutions, and it becomes a
- 1:37Speaker 1: gigantic problem in society. And that's why I've been calling
- 1:41Speaker 1: for accountability within the institutions for all these years. Look,
- 1:45Speaker 1: I'm not some black pillar. I'm not somebody who hates America.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'm not somebody that you know thinks this country is horrible.
- 1:52Speaker 1: It's the opposite. The reason I'm so vocal, the reason
- 1:57Speaker 1: that I've taken this story head on, is because I
- 1:59Speaker 1: truely believe that until we deal with this, we're never
- 2:03Speaker 1: ever going to be able to get out from under
- 2:05Speaker 1: the thumb of the scumbags that are ruining our lives.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about your neighbors. I'm not talking
- 2:11Speaker 1: about even your politicians. I'm talking about the people that
- 2:14Speaker 1: are holding their leash, you know, Jeffrey Epstein's buddies. Today
- 2:20Speaker 1: we have an article from scripts dot com and the
- 2:23Speaker 1: headline former New Mexico ag wants to step back into
- 2:26Speaker 1: Epstein ranch investigations. This article was authored by Alexandra Miller.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Former New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderis is offering to
- 2:37Speaker 1: assist two ongoing state investigations into Jeffrey Epstein, marking his
- 2:41Speaker 1: first official involvement in the matter since leaving office in
- 2:44Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. He exclusively tells Scrips News, well, not
- 2:49Speaker 1: for nothing, but I tried to contact mister Baldaris when
- 2:52Speaker 1: I was in New Mexico. His office crickets, no emails back,
- 2:59Speaker 1: no phone calls, nothing. So it's good that he wants
- 3:03Speaker 1: to get involved now. But when he was the Attorney general,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I can assure you that there was no interest in
- 3:09Speaker 1: going after Zorro Ranch. Now, in his defense, we can
- 3:11Speaker 1: say that the federal government told the State of New
- 3:14Speaker 1: Mexico to back off. And it looks like we have
- 3:17Speaker 1: the contemporaneous evidence to back that up. But still, if
- 3:21Speaker 1: you're the attorney general of a state and you know
- 3:23Speaker 1: that shit like this is going on, you can't punt
- 3:25Speaker 1: the ball. You can't have the FEDS come in and
- 3:28Speaker 1: do the whole investigation. You need to have a concurrent investigation.
- 3:32Speaker 1: That way, if the Feds don't do their job, you
- 3:35Speaker 1: can use dual sovereignty and go after the person that
- 3:38Speaker 1: the FEDS decide not to go after. But we never
- 3:42Speaker 1: saw that down in New Mexico. We didn't see mister
- 3:44Speaker 1: Balderas push back. So we have to be honest about
- 3:47Speaker 1: the record. Now. Look, I certainly welcome him showing up
- 3:51Speaker 1: to the party now, but let's not act like the
- 3:54Speaker 1: state of New Mexico was proactive. They were not. Balderis,
- 3:59Speaker 1: who launched New Mexico's investigation int Apstein in twenty nineteen,
- 4:03Speaker 1: say federal authorities effectively shut his office out after he
- 4:07Speaker 1: began pursuing evidence related to allegations connected to Epstein's Oro
- 4:11Speaker 1: Ranch in New Mexico. Epstein, a convicted sex offender, owned
- 4:16Speaker 1: the sprawling Zoro Ranch near Stanley, New Mexico, where multiple
- 4:20Speaker 1: women have alleged that they were abused as young girls
- 4:23Speaker 1: and women, and nobody gave a fuck. That's the truth.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I know people don't want to hear it, and those
- 4:29Speaker 1: of you that have been listening, you're probably tired of
- 4:31Speaker 1: me saying it, but it's the truth. Nobody could be
- 4:35Speaker 1: bothered to lift a finger, Nobody could be bothered to
- 4:39Speaker 1: go after these powerful people. I mean, for how long
- 4:43Speaker 1: did we hear about Bill Gates being this great guy.
- 4:45Speaker 1: He's saving humanity and if you said anything against them,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you are some conspiracy theorist. But the truth is Bill
- 4:53Speaker 1: Gates has never been a great guy. Bill Gates is
- 4:56Speaker 1: a planderer, a liar, and somebody that he had no
- 5:00Speaker 1: problem rebuilding Epstein's image, and then that rotten bastard had
- 5:04Speaker 1: the audacity to light to everybody and try and gaslight
- 5:07Speaker 1: us when the truth came out. So if you want
- 5:09Speaker 1: to think Bill Gates is a great guy, cool, go
- 5:12Speaker 1: for it. Me personally, I think he's a scumbag. In
- 5:17Speaker 1: letters Sat. Monday evening, Balderas reached out to current New
- 5:20Speaker 1: Mexico Attorney General Raoul Torres and the chairwoman of the
- 5:23Speaker 1: State's Truth Commission, the state legislature's committee examining how state
- 5:28Speaker 1: and local officials handled matters related to Epstein's property and
- 5:32Speaker 1: activities in New Mexico. Baldera's decision to publicly offer assistance
- 5:36Speaker 1: adds a new dimension to the state's ongoing efforts to
- 5:39Speaker 1: determine whether additional records could shed light on Epstein's activities
- 5:44Speaker 1: in New Mexico and the extent of the communication between
- 5:48Speaker 1: state and federal authorities during the investigation. All right, let
- 5:52Speaker 1: me put my cynical hat on real quick and say
- 5:54Speaker 1: that mister Balderas is probably trying to cover his own ass.
- 5:58Speaker 1: That's possible, right. Well, Look, the reason I didn't act
- 6:02Speaker 1: is because the FEDS told me that I couldn't. Now,
- 6:05Speaker 1: if he has the evidence to back that up, that's
- 6:07Speaker 1: one thing, but if not, sounds like more nonsense being
- 6:11Speaker 1: pitched to us. The former Attorney General provided a detailed
- 6:16Speaker 1: timeline of his office's investigation, including communications with Attorney Brad Edwards,
- 6:21Speaker 1: who represents numerous Epstein's survivors. According to Balderas, Edwards connected
- 6:27Speaker 1: his office with two alleged victims, four interviews, and the
- 6:31Speaker 1: fact that nothing came from it is just completely disgusting.
- 6:35Speaker 1: There's plenty of evidence. I mean, you see the shit
- 6:37Speaker 1: people get arrested on and you see how little evidence
- 6:41Speaker 1: they have. All you have to do is establish probable cause.
- 6:45Speaker 1: But Balderas couldn't even be bothered to do that. Balderas
- 6:51Speaker 1: said his office was only able to interview one survivor
- 6:54Speaker 1: on July second, twenty nineteen, before federal prosecutors in the
- 6:58Speaker 1: Southern District of New York intervene. Based on the statements
- 7:02Speaker 1: we obtained from the victim, we began to formulate a
- 7:05Speaker 1: charging theory of criminal sexual penetration in the first degree
- 7:09Speaker 1: against Jeffrey Epstein. Baldaris wrote in his correspondence, Well, that's great,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but did you go through with it? Did you follow through?
- 7:18Speaker 1: Did you tell the Feds to go get fucked? No?
- 7:21Speaker 1: You just went along to get along, like alex Acosta did.
- 7:24Speaker 1: But the difference is, mister Baldaris wasn't a federal employee.
- 7:29Speaker 1: He was the attorney general of the state. So that
- 7:32Speaker 1: should supersede anything else. If somebody is out here diddling
- 7:36Speaker 1: people in my state and on the attorney general, I
- 7:39Speaker 1: don't care if the President himself asked me to back off,
- 7:42Speaker 1: the answer is no. My investigation is going to continue,
- 7:46Speaker 1: and that's it. I have a duty to the people
- 7:49Speaker 1: of New Mexico, not to the federal government, not to
- 7:52Speaker 1: the DOJ, and certainly not to the thin skins in Washington,
- 7:56Speaker 1: d C. But yet Baldaris, well, he had a differentinion,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I guess, and decided that the Feds and their request
- 8:04Speaker 1: Trump's what the people of New Mexico desire. The letter
- 8:10Speaker 1: to the Attorney General also includes a handwritten note from
- 8:13Speaker 1: federal authorities indicating that they would share information with Balderis's team.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Script's News reporting found the Department of Justice ignored Baldaris's
- 8:21Speaker 1: team as it continually reached out to assist in the investigation.
- 8:25Speaker 1: The SDN Y never shared information with Balderis's team. And
- 8:29Speaker 1: does someone want to refresh my memory about who was
- 8:32Speaker 1: president at this time? Oh, that's right, Donald Trump. So
- 8:36Speaker 1: Donald Trump's DOJ was withholding this information from the state
- 8:41Speaker 1: of New Mexico. Now we know why. Now we know
- 8:45Speaker 1: why they were doing it, and now we know why
- 8:47Speaker 1: they're still doing it. We put survivors first by backing
- 8:50Speaker 1: the DOJ's human trafficking prosecution, trusting them to honor their
- 8:54Speaker 1: word to share records once their case closed. Balderis told
- 8:58Speaker 1: Scripts News in an exclusive state, Instead, they went dark.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's deeply frustrating to see federal officials obstruct the new
- 9:06Speaker 1: Mexico Attorney General by withholding the very evidence he needs
- 9:09Speaker 1: to fight for justice. And that's a fact. I just
- 9:14Speaker 1: don't understand how the Feds think they can get away
- 9:16Speaker 1: with this shit. Do you think that the State of
- 9:19Speaker 1: New Mexico would have any leg to stand on if
- 9:21Speaker 1: they were withholding something from the Feds. Of course not.
- 9:24Speaker 1: But the Feds, well, they can just do whatever they want,
- 9:27Speaker 1: especially when it comes to Epstein. There's never going to
- 9:29Speaker 1: be accountability. The revelations come as new Mexico Attorney General
- 9:37Speaker 1: Ronald Torres continues his efforts to obtain federal records related
- 9:40Speaker 1: to Epstein. Torres, who reopened the state investigation, has repeatedly
- 9:45Speaker 1: requested documents from the Department of Justice. Last week, Torres
- 9:49Speaker 1: threatened legal action if the DOJ does not comply with
- 9:52Speaker 1: requests for specific unredacted files. I'd love to see that filed.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Let's get a legal battle going, Let's get a court case,
- 10:01Speaker 1: and let's see what the judge says enough is enough.
- 10:04Speaker 1: In a statement provided to the Script's newsgroup, Torres says
- 10:07Speaker 1: former Attorney General Balderis has confirmed what we already know
- 10:11Speaker 1: to be true. The federal government has repeatedly failed to
- 10:14Speaker 1: honor its commitment to share information that is unacceptable. If
- 10:18Speaker 1: DJ will not honor its commitment voluntarily, we're prepared to
- 10:22Speaker 1: enforce it so that we can do what New Mexicans
- 10:25Speaker 1: expect of us. Follow the facts, protect victims, and hold
- 10:29Speaker 1: anyone who broke our laws accountable. So it looks like
- 10:33Speaker 1: the battle down in New Mexico is just getting underway.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It's going to be very interesting to see what they
- 10:38Speaker 1: come up with and if the Feds end up playing ball,
- 10:41Speaker 1: because I think there's a lot of secrets in Zoro
- 10:44Speaker 1: Ranch that the Feds don't want uncovered. So we're going
- 10:49Speaker 1: to continue to follow along and when we have some
- 10:51Speaker 1: more information, one way or the other will get that
- 10:54Speaker 1: added to the catalog as well. All the information that
- 10:57Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
