- 0:15Speaker 4: Dip for rent.
- 0:18Speaker 2: We're in the We're not in our usual spot like
- 0:22Speaker 2: we're in the studio, but we're in the podcast room.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Yes, we're in the room where we normally do our
- 0:27Speaker 3: interviews with guests. With guests, So I'm sitting across from BT.
- 0:33Speaker 2: How do I look on my camera?
- 0:35Speaker 4: If I'm being honest, I can't see you, Okay because
- 0:37Speaker 4: like the thing is like over your face. Okay, how
- 0:39Speaker 4: do I look in my camera?
- 0:41Speaker 2: I also can't see Yeah, so good luck to both
- 0:45Speaker 2: of them.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Yeah, let's cross our fingers and.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's Friday.
- 0:51Speaker 3: It is.
- 0:52Speaker 2: We're doing a little pre recording for Monday because it's
- 0:55Speaker 2: a Tanya has a busy weekend, so we somehow Tanya
- 1:00Speaker 2: still going.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Still going. You know what's crazy?
- 1:03Speaker 3: Ali was texting me, She's like, are you feeling the
- 1:05Speaker 3: post wedding blues? And I was like, I felt a
- 1:08Speaker 3: little bit of like a come down, like on Sunday
- 1:10Speaker 3: when we were packing and leaving, like that was definitely
- 1:13Speaker 3: like sad, and I was like feeling sad about it
- 1:16Speaker 3: being over. But I was like, I went straight into
- 1:18Speaker 3: work on Monday, and I've had just literally so much
- 1:22Speaker 3: going on. And then I fly to New York for
- 1:24Speaker 3: Jonas Kahn, and then I come back and we go
- 1:26Speaker 3: on our mini moon, and then I come back and
- 1:27Speaker 3: I'm going.
- 1:28Speaker 4: To Houston for another event.
- 1:29Speaker 3: So it's like the next three weeks are just so
- 1:31Speaker 3: jam packed, and I'm like, I don't think I have
- 1:32Speaker 3: time to have the blues.
- 1:34Speaker 2: You know, it's interesting, there's almost everything that you did
- 1:38Speaker 2: for your wedding. I was like, I'm taking notes on
- 1:40Speaker 2: like things that I also would do, except your come down,
- 1:44Speaker 2: I would take at least a week off.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that was like I would say, in hindsight, my
- 1:50Speaker 3: biggest regret was I wish you would have stayed in
- 1:55Speaker 3: like put to me to on Sunday even come back Monday,
- 1:58Speaker 3: you know, but just like had that like rest and
- 2:00Speaker 3: relax instead of packing and like trying to Like our
- 2:04Speaker 3: room was totally disheveled because that's where we got ready.
- 2:06Speaker 4: So Robbie was like, I don't know.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Where half of my stuff is, so like trying to
- 2:10Speaker 3: not in a bad way, but like trying to pack
- 2:12Speaker 3: and remember everything was just like hen house.
- 2:15Speaker 4: It was just like.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Mayhem, I know, and it was like such a gorg,
- 2:19Speaker 2: Like you really didn't need to go anywhere. You could
- 2:21Speaker 2: have just stayed for a couple of days and yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 2: that's okay.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Robbie had to get back.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Robbie had He's just been so busy with work that
- 2:27Speaker 3: he was like, I couldn't have stayed in one more day.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Well that makes me feel a little bit better that
- 2:31Speaker 4: it wasn't like just me.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Right, you were in it together. Yeah, what a beautiful
- 2:35Speaker 2: start to your marriage, just like together.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Yeah, grinding to the top. Yeah.
- 2:42Speaker 2: People are loving the wedding content. I was saying, like,
- 2:44Speaker 2: between Sam's footage and bringing Ashley, who who helps you
- 2:49Speaker 2: with social media?
- 2:50Speaker 3: If there are any brides out there that need or
- 2:54Speaker 3: are thinking about having a content creator at their wedding
- 2:58Speaker 3: having Ashley was.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Like, I haven't even posted that.
- 3:01Speaker 3: She She's sortad of like made tiktoks and videos. It's
- 3:05Speaker 3: like in like a finished thing for me from my wedding,
- 3:08Speaker 3: and I've been watching those. I haven't even posted any
- 3:10Speaker 3: of them because I've just been posting all the other
- 3:11Speaker 3: content that I have. But yeah, I mean she was
- 3:16Speaker 3: top to bottom amazing.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Because even if you don't, like even if you're not
- 3:20Speaker 2: a content creator like an influencer, and you're like, I
- 3:23Speaker 2: don't need to share everything online. I think just having
- 3:25Speaker 2: the videos and the footage to reminisce, and like she
- 3:28Speaker 2: caught mo, she got so many just moments of things
- 3:32Speaker 2: that happened.
- 3:32Speaker 3: And like she she made a video of me, like
- 3:36Speaker 3: I probably won't post it because it's like very emotional,
- 3:38Speaker 3: but it was of my dad and it was like
- 3:41Speaker 3: to everybody else, she's the bride, but to me, she's
- 3:43Speaker 3: my baby girl.
- 3:43Speaker 4: And it was like all these videos of like my.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Dad throughout the weekend and like to this beautiful song,
- 3:50Speaker 3: you know, and I'm like, I probably won't post that,
- 3:51Speaker 3: but just having that, you know, because our videographer, I
- 3:55Speaker 3: have no idea what he's gonna send me, Like do
- 3:58Speaker 3: you know what I mean? I have no idea what
- 4:00Speaker 3: like what I'm gonna get, uh, but I know I
- 4:03Speaker 3: already have some good stuff, so like whatever.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that was it. That was a win, huge win,
- 4:09Speaker 2: huge one. How's married life one week down? I know,
- 4:15Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, today's your week anniversary?
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah, he was like it'd be one week anniversary of like, cu,
- 4:21Speaker 3: we did it, we made it. Married life is different really, yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 3: how so I felt like after we got engaged it
- 4:32Speaker 3: felt different. It's like a different level of commitment, and
- 4:34Speaker 3: then marriage is like another level of commitment. So it's
- 4:38Speaker 3: almost just like you feel like, I don't know, it's
- 4:41Speaker 3: not safer because I always felt safe, but it's just
- 4:44Speaker 3: like this.
- 4:44Speaker 4: I don't know. Maybe it's just me.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Well, I don't think it's just you. I always hear
- 4:48Speaker 2: people say that, but I also think that was always
- 4:50Speaker 2: something very important to you, was like the like safety,
- 4:54Speaker 2: safety and commitment of each step of getting to where
- 4:58Speaker 2: you are. Now. Yeah, once you have a baby, y'all
- 5:00Speaker 2: are locked in.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Yeah, locked in. I know we're talking about that now.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Wow, So what's the talk Because y'all are doing your
- 5:09Speaker 2: honeymoon and if you a lot of people ask do
- 5:11Speaker 2: we already talk about this? A lot of people ask
- 5:13Speaker 2: about honeymoon? You're doing a honeymoon.
- 5:15Speaker 3: We're doing a honeymoon at the end of June, like
- 5:18Speaker 3: fourth of July week. It's an easier week just work wise. Yeah,
- 5:23Speaker 3: take to take time off.
- 5:25Speaker 4: So we're going to do that. We're going to do
- 5:27Speaker 4: a mini moon.
- 5:28Speaker 3: In like two weekends, so not this weekend, but the
- 5:30Speaker 3: weekend after.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Where's that cavo oh where she loves Mexico. She's in Mexico, Girly.
- 5:38Speaker 4: We're staying at the Waldorf. So I'm just going for
- 5:41Speaker 4: two days.
- 5:43Speaker 3: But I think it'll be nice because I feel like
- 5:44Speaker 3: we got back from our wedding and we haven't had
- 5:46Speaker 3: We haven't had We're going to have one date night
- 5:51Speaker 3: until our mini moon.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Whoa, because I'm going to be gone. Oh yeah, yeah
- 5:56Speaker 4: I haven't.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I literally was saying to Sam, like we're I'm seeing
- 6:00Speaker 2: She goes, what are you doing this weekend? And I
- 6:01Speaker 2: was like, I'm just hanging out with Haley, Like I
- 6:03Speaker 2: haven't had like just uninterrupted, like intentional time with her
- 6:07Speaker 2: in a minute. So I was like she you know,
- 6:11Speaker 2: I was like, I gave all my everything I had
- 6:14Speaker 2: went to Tanya and Robbie over last week, Like everything
- 6:18Speaker 2: that I had in me was given to them, So
- 6:20Speaker 2: she needs my she needs an attention back. Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 3: It's funny because I feel like it was all for us.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Everything was for us, but we haven't spent He and
- 6:30Speaker 3: I haven't spent alone time together.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Like literally at all in the past two weeks.
- 6:37Speaker 2: It is funny because of weddings, it's all about it's
- 6:40Speaker 2: your relationship and your love and your commitment, and yet
- 6:44Speaker 2: it's every so many other people involved in that process
- 6:48Speaker 2: because it's like you're the host of a party. Yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 2: but the party is the biggest party for yourself.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Robbie made it.
- 6:55Speaker 3: He always said, he was like our wedding, we are
- 6:58Speaker 3: guests at our wedding.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Oh, we are the guests at our wedding.
- 7:01Speaker 3: We don't we are not like we don't have to
- 7:04Speaker 3: uh host and make people like, you know, even though
- 7:08Speaker 3: we did, we totally like wanted to like dance with everybody.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I know.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I mean that's just who you are.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Yeah, you'll are host hosts.
- 7:16Speaker 2: In your host and work. You're hosting.
- 7:19Speaker 3: We're gonna lie really big Taco Thursday in a couple
- 7:23Speaker 3: of weeks, and we were gonna like basically buy like
- 7:26Speaker 3: not everybody that was at the wedding, but like the
- 7:28Speaker 3: majority of people that were at the wedding.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I was like trying to get I was like, maybe
- 7:32Speaker 2: I just have Tanya send her wedding guest list and
- 7:34Speaker 2: I just copy that and I'm just like, oh, Robbie's
- 7:38Speaker 2: family comes.
- 7:42Speaker 4: Family to her movies greeting tonight.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Well, it's gonna be a mini reunion. Literally, can't wait.
- 7:52Speaker 2: You're doing Jonahs Khan speaking of just Busy, You're going
- 7:55Speaker 2: to Jonas Khan on Sunday. I am explain what Jonas
- 7:58Speaker 2: kN is because for someone who is not in the
- 8:00Speaker 2: Jonas hemisphere, so.
- 8:02Speaker 3: You know what a convention is, right, So it's to
- 8:03Speaker 3: celebrate their twenty year anniversary of Jonahs Brothers Jonas Brothers, right, Sam, Yeah,
- 8:11Speaker 3: the Jonah like the inception of the Jonas Brothers KA.
- 8:15Speaker 4: So it's their twenty year anniversary.
- 8:17Speaker 3: So doing Jonas con which is basically like Jonah's Brother's convention,
- 8:21Speaker 3: and it's it's a convention for the Jonas Brothers.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Well it happens though like they're performing.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean there's gonna be like other
- 8:31Speaker 3: performances too. I'm not totally in the know because I
- 8:34Speaker 3: know what I'm doing, which is what I'm basically bringing
- 8:38Speaker 3: them out on stage. I don't even know if what
- 8:42Speaker 3: I'm doing is like shared publicly yet. Oh oh, there's
- 8:47Speaker 3: gonna be Jonas Golf, Jonas Pizza, Camp, Rock Karaoke, Jonas
- 8:54Speaker 3: Escape Room, Shake by the Ocean, Jonas, Trivia, Jonas Cookies,
- 9:04Speaker 3: Dream Wheel, Around the Clock, and then I'm basically going
- 9:08Speaker 3: to introduce them, like I'm gonna bring them out, and
- 9:13Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm supposed to like share it, okay,
- 9:14Speaker 3: yeah whatever, no, no, but this is airing Monday, and
- 9:17Speaker 3: I'll be okay. So I'm basically bringing them out and
- 9:19Speaker 3: then they're gonna play specific songs to like fans in
- 9:25Speaker 3: the audience. So I'm going to be kind of like
- 9:26Speaker 3: the reporter in the field with the fans asking them
- 9:30Speaker 3: kind of like what the songs mean to them. So
- 9:32Speaker 3: like it's not just like straight concert where there's going
- 9:34Speaker 3: to keep playing song after a song. It's gonna be
- 9:36Speaker 3: like fans explaining what the songs mean to them.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Gotcha? And then I saw chicks in the office or
- 9:42Speaker 2: doing like a live They're.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Doing like a live podcast.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah, is this the first ever Jonas first ever? Oh wow,
- 9:48Speaker 2: I can't wait to hear.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I was so honored that they wanted me to do this.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I was like, isn't there anybody that lives on the
- 9:54Speaker 3: East Coast that.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Like, Yeah, why didn't they call it Ashley I?
- 9:58Speaker 3: Because Tanya rad Yad is the number one Jonas fan
- 10:03Speaker 3: I'm wearing.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 10:04Speaker 3: I think.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I think Ashley beats you. I do. She's been to
- 10:09Speaker 2: like double digit concerts. I think.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Is she gonna be wearing an I Love Kevin shirt?
- 10:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think so.
- 10:17Speaker 2: But she has to be going to this. You should
- 10:20Speaker 2: contact her. Yeah, she is have to be going to this.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I can't imagine her missing it. Well, that's exciting.
- 10:27Speaker 3: I am excited. Just me and the bros, You and
- 10:29Speaker 3: the bross.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Speaking of Tanya rad Yad, you change your Instagram name.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I changed my name, but not my handle, right, What
- 10:39Speaker 3: are your thoughts on that?
- 10:41Speaker 4: Keep the handle as it is?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Right, I say, keep the handle as it is because
- 10:47Speaker 2: you're still Tawny rad Yad. So Tanya Rad's still your name, right,
- 10:50Speaker 2: you know it's like your middle.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Name, right, no need to like. But it's also like
- 10:56Speaker 4: you could just change the R to the hy Tanya. Yeah.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and no, maybe people won't even notice a difference
- 11:06Speaker 2: because I just type in t A N to get
- 11:08Speaker 2: your name to pop up. They're not like typing in
- 11:10Speaker 2: the whole thing.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Yeah, what if people type in rat to find me?
- 11:13Speaker 3: It'll probably heavens I'll lose those people too risky.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel that feels like more of a month
- 11:21Speaker 2: long into marriage decision rush.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Yeah, not a weekend. How are you feeling post wedding?
- 11:28Speaker 2: I feel like I'm the one who just got wet,
- 11:31Speaker 2: Like I feel like I'm still recovering. But that could
- 11:35Speaker 2: just be from the self induced situation that I gave
- 11:39Speaker 2: myself and my body.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Video of you taking the shot is diabolical.
- 11:44Speaker 2: It really is, because like even I was shocked by
- 11:47Speaker 2: how well I faked it, Like I even surprised myself.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Robbie goes she could have made a face, but the
- 11:55Speaker 3: body that she made was like, took it to a
- 11:58Speaker 3: whole other level.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Had to sell it, and people were like, she gave
- 12:02Speaker 2: it away by not using her line. But I never
- 12:04Speaker 2: used my line. Fun fact, fun fact, I never used
- 12:08Speaker 2: my line. It's already it's already so bad that, like,
- 12:12Speaker 2: my focus is just getting the shot down. I don't
- 12:14Speaker 2: need something else.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Did Sam Did you know that she had water? And
- 12:17Speaker 3: that was why were you filming that? You're just filming
- 12:19Speaker 3: us taking shot together?
- 12:22Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 12:23Speaker 2: The best part is that so Jordan and Jojo knew
- 12:28Speaker 2: how sick I was, and so they're in their seat,
- 12:31Speaker 2: which we were on the dance floor. They were in
- 12:33Speaker 2: their seat, which was kind of a distance, but like
- 12:34Speaker 2: they had a straight shot to watch me do it.
- 12:37Speaker 2: So when I finished, they were like wide eyed and
- 12:40Speaker 2: like clapping for me. And I was like, I took
- 12:44Speaker 2: water and they were like, no.
- 12:46Speaker 4: I feel so lied to that whole day, like fully
- 12:51Speaker 4: lied to.
- 12:52Speaker 2: It was for the the the cause. It was for good.
- 12:57Speaker 2: It was for good. All of it was for good,
- 12:59Speaker 2: because I my whole intention was like, okay, you did
- 13:03Speaker 2: this to yourself. It was so stupid, like why how.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Did you have so much fun if you were so sick?
- 13:09Speaker 4: Like you looked like you were having a good time.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I had a great well by that point, I did
- 13:12Speaker 2: have a great time.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Oh you weren't sick anymore.
- 13:14Speaker 2: At the nighttime, I was not gonna risk it, but
- 13:17Speaker 2: I ate Haley's buttered noodles. That was the first thing
- 13:19Speaker 2: I ate, and I was like, I need something plain.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I can't risk it. So I ate the buttered noodles
- 13:25Speaker 2: and a coke and then I was like I was
- 13:27Speaker 2: good after that.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Okay, so you weren't like.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Sick, no, no, no, okay, I would say. Once we
- 13:32Speaker 2: got to the ceremony part. I was okay. I think
- 13:35Speaker 2: being outside and having the fresh air, I was like
- 13:38Speaker 2: very relaxed and just like happy that I made it.
- 13:42Speaker 2: For the relief that flooded me that I made it
- 13:44Speaker 2: to that moment, oh sigh of relief. But anyways, it
- 13:49Speaker 2: was like crazy waking up because I was like you,
- 13:52Speaker 2: I was stewing someone the other night, like I have
- 13:55Speaker 2: never used mental strength like that, where I was like, gay,
- 14:00Speaker 2: your ass up, this is your best friend's wedding. You
- 14:04Speaker 2: did this to yourself, figure it out, Like I was
- 14:07Speaker 2: like using it.
- 14:08Speaker 3: I was.
- 14:08Speaker 2: There was no gentle parenting with myself.
- 14:11Speaker 4: I mean, it's so crazy.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Looking back on videos and stuff, I'm like, hmm, yeah,
- 14:17Speaker 3: I see it now.
- 14:18Speaker 4: But in the moment I didn't see it at all.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Well I didn't think you would because you had
- 14:23Speaker 2: so much other Like I knew that I could get
- 14:25Speaker 2: away with being a little under the radar, under the radar.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Well I wasn't under the radar. I was dying laughing though,
- 14:31Speaker 2: because so all my brain was thinking. Because they told
- 14:35Speaker 2: us you have to be ready for photos at one
- 14:37Speaker 2: and then after that we weren't needed until three point
- 14:39Speaker 2: thirty on the schedule, uh huh, And so I was like, Okay,
- 14:43Speaker 2: we're probably gonna finish pictures at like one thirty one
- 14:45Speaker 2: forty five. I can go back to the room, just
- 14:48Speaker 2: lay down and just like recharge. Kara the photographer was like, Beca,
- 14:55Speaker 2: can you go put your dress on so that we
- 14:56Speaker 2: can get Tanya into her dress? And I was like, oh, yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 2: of course, it's just like golf corded back to the
- 15:05Speaker 2: room like no, not for no, not for but yeah.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I think it was also like the adrenaline and like
- 15:13Speaker 2: happiness of the day helped me too. And the zo
- 15:15Speaker 2: frin dangne with the zo friend dang. But anyways, Yeah,
- 15:19Speaker 2: the shot video is so good.
- 15:21Speaker 4: I couldn't believe we got that on film.
- 15:23Speaker 2: But also I would have been so upset because if
- 15:26Speaker 2: I had had tequila, I would have taken the whole thing,
- 15:29Speaker 2: and you took like a baby sip.
- 15:31Speaker 4: So that's my trick.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Well use half. But I don't even think half went
- 15:35Speaker 2: down that.
- 15:36Speaker 4: I never got drunk that night. Drunk.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I was tipsy, but I think it's because I take
- 15:44Speaker 3: little SIPs here and there.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Do you think I got drunk?
- 15:48Speaker 2: I would say you were a little past tipsy, but
- 15:50Speaker 2: you weren't. You weren't like slopped, like nothing.
- 15:53Speaker 3: No sloppy, I remember everything, like no blackouts, no, like
- 15:57Speaker 3: the perfect level.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 15:59Speaker 3: The trick is whoever downs in a full shot like
- 16:02Speaker 3: that is like a psychopath.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Those things are huge.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and I did like eight of them on Thursday night.
- 16:10Speaker 3: It's crazy without eating, like everybody, from now on, we
- 16:15Speaker 3: need to make a rule from now on, shots seem
- 16:17Speaker 3: to be filled up halfway. A full shot glass is
- 16:20Speaker 3: way too much after the age of thirty five that
- 16:24Speaker 3: I agree with.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Yeah, because we.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Named Paulina, Like from now on, Paulina, there is a
- 16:29Speaker 3: no that's that says, from now on, shot glasses to
- 16:33Speaker 3: be filled halfway if you are thirty five years or older.
- 16:37Speaker 2: My period part was like Paulina because it was like
- 16:40Speaker 2: every shot I took, Paulina was taking a shot at
- 16:43Speaker 2: that time too. It was a diabolical duo. And the
- 16:48Speaker 2: next morning she was like, I'm so I'm having so
- 16:50Speaker 2: much anxiety, like what did I do? What did I say?
- 16:52Speaker 2: And I was like, I'm so sick. I haven't even
- 16:54Speaker 2: gone to the anxiety part yet. I haven't even thought
- 16:57Speaker 2: about what I said or did because I'm so ill.
- 17:02Speaker 2: I had to just let that go. I had to
- 17:03Speaker 2: go Whatever I said or did has to be in
- 17:06Speaker 2: the past. I have to hope that I was at
- 17:09Speaker 2: least charming and funny enough to get away with it.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I think you were all fine, because everybody's been texting
- 17:14Speaker 3: me all week saying how amazing my friends are and wow,
- 17:18Speaker 3: so nos.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Sorry that you have to have such great friends.
- 17:23Speaker 4: No notes.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I went to Rachel Kirconnell did a collab with this
- 17:29Speaker 2: clothing brand called Chopo, and so.
- 17:31Speaker 3: She had at my hotel with rude Rachelconnell event the
- 17:36Speaker 3: week after I get married at my hotel and don't
- 17:39Speaker 3: send me an invite.
- 17:40Speaker 2: You know what's so funny? I was like, my best
- 17:42Speaker 2: friend got engaged here and she had her bridal shower
- 17:45Speaker 2: here because it was in the same area. And I
- 17:47Speaker 2: was like, man, that really is just really significant for
- 17:50Speaker 2: me in my life, Like no one else cares. Was
- 17:53Speaker 2: She like cool, Everyone's just kind of like, oh, yeah,
- 17:56Speaker 2: it's really pretty here. Okay, I've been in a bubble,
- 18:01Speaker 2: I've been.
- 18:01Speaker 4: In Susie cares.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Susie cared, Susie would carry yeah, yeah, I love Susie.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:08Speaker 3: She told me when I didn't have a videographer. She's like,
- 18:10Speaker 3: I was about to dust off my camera and come
- 18:11Speaker 3: out to Mexico for you.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I just love her. She's so creative and she's so kind.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I texted her after I saw her. I was like,
- 18:18Speaker 2: you're such a breath of fresh air. Like you're so sweet,
- 18:20Speaker 2: you're kind, you're warm. Yeah, she's so beautiful.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Yeah, she's really warm.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah. It was like a bunch of bachelor girls, but
- 18:28Speaker 2: I was by far the oldest. That's always like a
- 18:30Speaker 2: funny thing for me. Like when we take the group picture,
- 18:32Speaker 2: I'm looking around, like, dang, y'all, I came way before y'all.
- 18:39Speaker 3: The age thing is starting to like pop up more
- 18:41Speaker 3: for me as well. Like I don't know like what
- 18:43Speaker 3: my algorithm is like doing lately, but like I'm being
- 18:46Speaker 3: targeted with like all these fertility stats.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Oh no, and I keep sending them.
- 18:50Speaker 3: To Robbie and he's like, babe, you have to stop
- 18:54Speaker 3: sending me these. It's like, maybe that's why they keep popping.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Up my algorithm, because you're talking about it sending them
- 19:00Speaker 4: to him.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, that's how it works. That's actually exactly
- 19:03Speaker 2: how the algorithm works.
- 19:05Speaker 3: So I'm feeding my own algorithm. But yeah, I like
- 19:07Speaker 3: keep getting these like stats where it's like age thirty
- 19:10Speaker 3: or this percent likely to conceive at the age thirty five,
- 19:13Speaker 3: or this percent likely to conceive at age forty or
- 19:16Speaker 3: like two percent likely.
- 19:17Speaker 4: I'm like, I like, you're.
- 19:18Speaker 2: About to start the process, so I think that it's
- 19:22Speaker 2: like you'll figure like you once you start going, then
- 19:26Speaker 2: we'll see what happens, like you haven't even tried yet.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Correct.
- 19:30Speaker 2: But anyways, Rachel, I want her to come on the
- 19:32Speaker 2: podcast to ask her, did you do some work? There
- 19:34Speaker 2: was like a lot going on, but I tried to
- 19:38Speaker 2: like squeeze it in there of like oh, like I
- 19:40Speaker 2: was trying to be like we should do dinner type thing,
- 19:42Speaker 2: not immediately like come on the pod, surety? Did? I mean?
- 19:45Speaker 2: What else is she going to say?
- 19:47Speaker 4: I mean so much, we have different perspectives, different.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Question She is so shockingly stunning in person, but you
- 19:55Speaker 2: know what's crazy? She was like, it made me realize
- 19:58Speaker 2: Instagram is such a Instagram and social media in general
- 20:01Speaker 2: is such a not reality because you see Rachel and
- 20:06Speaker 2: obviously she's doing like all these amazing things and she
- 20:09Speaker 2: has so much love and support, but in my head.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I was like, you kind of forget, like she's still
- 20:14Speaker 2: going through like a really hard breakup, and it's just
- 20:17Speaker 2: a reminder of like like she she seemed great and
- 20:20Speaker 2: she seemed happy, but there's also I was thinking about, Wow,
- 20:23Speaker 2: you see these people on apps and TikTok and everything
- 20:27Speaker 2: looks amazing, and you're almost like, wow, she's thriving, and
- 20:31Speaker 2: she is, and she's just going through something hard.
- 20:34Speaker 4: You know, she look sad, No, she seems sad.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I think she was just like I'm staying busy. She
- 20:40Speaker 2: just made the comment like I'm staying busy, and I
- 20:43Speaker 2: was like, oh, yeah, like you're literally going through something
- 20:46Speaker 2: really hard publicly and people weighing in and having opinions
- 20:52Speaker 2: on every little thing you do. But she's stunning, queen.
- 20:57Speaker 4: You know who else has opinions about every little thing
- 20:59Speaker 4: that she does?
- 21:00Speaker 2: Ellen Pompeo.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Yeah, we're gonna get into that when we come back.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Nice, all right, we're back. So Ellen Pompeo was on
- 21:22Speaker 2: call her daddy. Yes, And I don't listen. I'm not
- 21:26Speaker 2: a huge podcast girly, which I know is funny, but
- 21:28Speaker 2: like I don't listen a lot, Like I don't listen
- 21:32Speaker 2: to every Call Her Daddy podcast that same, but the
- 21:36Speaker 2: few that I've listened to have all been really good, Like,
- 21:38Speaker 2: I've been very entertained and like loved the interview. I
- 21:42Speaker 2: thought this was one of Alex Cooper's best interviews that
- 21:45Speaker 2: she conducted. Okay, I just felt like she was I
- 21:50Speaker 2: appreciated the fangirl energy because you could tell, and she
- 21:54Speaker 2: even posted I've interviewed so many people, this is the
- 21:59Speaker 2: first time I'm like really fan girling, and I was.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I really felt connected to Alex in that moment. You know,
- 22:05Speaker 2: like she's on such a massive scale of what she does,
- 22:08Speaker 2: and yet she had the same reaction to Meredith Gray
- 22:12Speaker 2: that like we would have to her, you know.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I feel like ours would be a little different.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Well, we'd have to, like I would have to pick.
- 22:19Speaker 4: My ass off the floor.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm saying we would. Yeah. She was maybe
- 22:25Speaker 2: a little more polished than we would be. Poised, Yeah, poised,
- 22:30Speaker 2: But I still could feel the respect and energy that
- 22:33Speaker 2: she had for her.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:35Speaker 2: But I was so fascinated by so many parts of
- 22:38Speaker 2: the conversation because Ellen actually shared a lot more than
- 22:42Speaker 2: I expected her to, because I just what she just
- 22:45Speaker 2: talked about behind the scenes stuff and like she talked
- 22:48Speaker 2: about the money thing of how she was perceived when
- 22:52Speaker 2: she what her remember when she went in she she
- 22:56Speaker 2: asked for a raise and they gave a her and
- 22:57Speaker 2: it was I can't remember the number of episode right, No.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Not an episode or season or was like an episode
- 23:07Speaker 4: would make her like twenty how many episodes? Twenty million
- 23:13Speaker 4: a season?
- 23:13Speaker 2: Regardless, she went in and asked for and she got it,
- 23:16Speaker 2: And she said that her agent or manager was like, hey,
- 23:19Speaker 2: just to be so you're prepared. Not everyone's gonna support
- 23:23Speaker 2: you when this comes out, like you're gonna have people
- 23:25Speaker 2: that are like, you don't deserve this, why are you
- 23:28Speaker 2: getting this? And she was like, I was so grateful
- 23:30Speaker 2: that he prepared me for that, because I was like,
- 23:33Speaker 2: why wouldn't people be happy for this?
- 23:36Speaker 4: You know what I found to be interesting.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I found it interesting that she went to Shonda first
- 23:40Speaker 3: and told her how much she was.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Going to ask for. She didn't need to do that.
- 23:46Speaker 3: I thought that was really cool and like classy, you know,
- 23:49Speaker 3: because she's like, I wouldn't have I wouldn't be where
- 23:51Speaker 3: I am without Shonda.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Yeah, So I'd like that little.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Like kind of insight into it. But also I just
- 23:58Speaker 3: find it so interesting because it's like, you know, I
- 24:01Speaker 3: talk a big game of like I'm a modern woman.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I do what I want, I stand up for myself,
- 24:05Speaker 3: but like when it comes to money, I do crumble.
- 24:08Speaker 4: And I find myself like I can get bullied, and
- 24:11Speaker 4: I've been bullied.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Many many times down and like hearing them talk about it,
- 24:17Speaker 3: I'm like, I have to stand stronger in my convictions
- 24:22Speaker 3: and I have to, Like I think, as women, we
- 24:24Speaker 3: are made to.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Feel like we should be lucky to be.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Where we are and we're not given information and we're
- 24:31Speaker 3: kind of like all of these things, and it's it's
- 24:35Speaker 3: been such a hard thing because I'm like, I'm so grateful.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I love what I do, and so I've never wanted
- 24:40Speaker 3: to like push the boundary or ask and like Ellen
- 24:43Speaker 3: even Seanda even said, no one's just gonna give it
- 24:46Speaker 3: to you. You have to ask, and it's such like
- 24:49Speaker 3: a tricky thing. And I find myself like I found
- 24:52Speaker 3: myself being very inspired and like motivated from that conversation
- 24:56Speaker 3: because i feel like.
- 24:58Speaker 4: I've been very pad leading up to now.
- 25:02Speaker 2: She also talked about how Patrick Dempsey got paid a
- 25:06Speaker 2: significant amount more than her and she was like, no,
- 25:11Speaker 2: like discredit to him, like everyone knows who he is.
- 25:14Speaker 2: He had a bigger name than me. But she was like,
- 25:16Speaker 2: he had thirteen failed pilot pilots before Grace, And she
- 25:21Speaker 2: was like, and I was the name of the show,
- 25:25Speaker 2: Like my character was going to be the name of
- 25:27Speaker 2: the show. So she was like, it wasn't about what
- 25:29Speaker 2: he got. It was more so about that they didn't
- 25:31Speaker 2: value me at the same level that they valued him
- 25:33Speaker 2: when I was like coming in as the namesake of
- 25:36Speaker 2: the show. I also loved what she talked about parenthood
- 25:40Speaker 2: because she was saying that she didn't necessarily want kids
- 25:45Speaker 2: and her husband wanted kids, and she's like, well, you
- 25:47Speaker 2: should have talked to me, like before we got married.
- 25:51Speaker 2: And obviously she ended up having a baby. But she
- 25:56Speaker 2: was telling Alex because Alex was saying, you know, I
- 26:00Speaker 2: fear the process of juggling motherhood and my career, and
- 26:06Speaker 2: am I gonna be dropped in my career just because
- 26:09Speaker 2: I've become a mom and have to focus on something else.
- 26:11Speaker 4: I think that's something every woman thinks about.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I think about that too, But I loved Ellen was like,
- 26:16Speaker 2: it will make you the best version of yourself and
- 26:19Speaker 2: you can't give one hundred percent to both, like it's
- 26:21Speaker 2: impossible because we're not made to be able to do that.
- 26:25Speaker 2: But you'll figure out the balance basically. And I thought
- 26:27Speaker 2: I thought she was so she's tough, but there was
- 26:32Speaker 2: like a moment of like nurturing to Alex that I
- 26:35Speaker 2: felt a lot throughout the interview where I was like, wow,
- 26:39Speaker 2: because she even says she's she's like tough, She's not.
- 26:43Speaker 4: No, no, I imagine her being very tough.
- 26:48Speaker 3: But I think that that's something that I mean, it's
- 26:50Speaker 3: crossed my mind so many times. I haven't stepped away.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I haven't taken time off of my job, like not
- 27:01Speaker 3: I don't really know how to explain it for people
- 27:03Speaker 3: that like aren't like in it, but like I haven't
- 27:05Speaker 3: taken multiple days off of my job where like our
- 27:09Speaker 3: show isn't on vacation.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Does that make sense? Yeah, until my wedding, and I've
- 27:13Speaker 4: been doing it for fifteen years. Yeah, And so when
- 27:16Speaker 4: you have a.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Baby, you're maternity leave, you're out for months, and that's
- 27:22Speaker 3: like really weird to like wrap your head around, you know,
- 27:25Speaker 3: And like I feel like it's something that a lot
- 27:28Speaker 3: of women in the industry don't necessarily share and like
- 27:31Speaker 3: talk about.
- 27:32Speaker 4: As much because it is scary.
- 27:35Speaker 3: You're constantly being told there's somebody at the door, you're
- 27:39Speaker 3: knocking at the door waiting to take your place, you know,
- 27:41Speaker 3: somebody younger, and this and that, and.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Like it's all it's such a it's such a mindful.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it is. I was glad that they
- 27:51Speaker 2: touched on it.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Yeah, And I can't imagine Alex probably feels that time's
- 27:56Speaker 3: am bazillian, you know what I mean.
- 28:01Speaker 2: She said that Georgia O. Malley was her hardest death, yes,
- 28:05Speaker 2: which is a lot of people sentiment. I don't necessarily agree.
- 28:08Speaker 2: It was the most like it was the first one
- 28:11Speaker 2: that felt like, oh my gosh, one of our people
- 28:15Speaker 2: is gone.
- 28:16Speaker 4: I mean I took Denny's a little bit harder, but
- 28:19Speaker 4: that is.
- 28:19Speaker 3: What it is.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Then he was like in like four episodes, so I
- 28:23Speaker 2: wasn't as touched as we know. And then she said
- 28:27Speaker 2: that Sandra O was like her biggest heart, like the
- 28:31Speaker 2: hardest episodes to film like that when she left, and
- 28:35Speaker 2: I really she thought that she was like I didn't
- 28:37Speaker 2: know that the show would go on without her, which
- 28:39Speaker 2: I thought was really interesting because no, there's been how
- 28:43Speaker 2: many seasons since then, like fifteen or ten? Like ten
- 28:48Speaker 2: seasons since her.
- 28:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so crazy.
- 28:52Speaker 2: I loved the interview. I thought it was amazing.
- 28:55Speaker 3: I do think it is interesting though, the things that
- 28:57Speaker 3: she said about like uh, pick me, choose me, love me,
- 29:01Speaker 3: and how she didn't want to say that line I know,
- 29:05Speaker 3: and then it ended up being like one of the
- 29:06Speaker 3: most iconic lines in Gray's anatomy history.
- 29:09Speaker 2: It's amazing because her mindset was why would she beg
- 29:14Speaker 2: for him? And I thought that was an interesting way.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Which I get and I totally understand like the idea
- 29:20Speaker 3: behind it, but also like everybody has felt that way,
- 29:24Speaker 3: do you know what I mean?
- 29:25Speaker 2: Like, Yeah, I.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Don't care who you are. I don't care how much
- 29:28Speaker 3: you want to sit here and say I would never
- 29:30Speaker 3: beg for a man. Like we've all been there. We've
- 29:32Speaker 3: all done that at some point, do you know what
- 29:34Speaker 3: I mean? So it's like so relatable.
- 29:36Speaker 2: It was so relatable, And also I think people forget
- 29:39Speaker 2: that at that time there wasn't this women empowerment movement
- 29:43Speaker 2: where it was like, don't beg for men like we are.
- 29:46Speaker 2: We have advanced so much, even though like that's still
- 29:49Speaker 2: a sentiment in something that people go through, like please
- 29:51Speaker 2: just love me, Like what can I do for you
- 29:53Speaker 2: to pick me and love me? But even back then
- 29:57Speaker 2: there wasn't really that much like it. I felt so
- 30:01Speaker 2: normalized to hear a woman be like, please choose me. Yeah,
- 30:06Speaker 2: Like I don't think I ever thought anything of it,
- 30:09Speaker 2: but now I think if I saw it, I'd be like, girl,
- 30:11Speaker 2: like come on.
- 30:12Speaker 3: No, but like, but you would say that, but like
- 30:15Speaker 3: you've all I'm sure, well, I don't know if you've
- 30:17Speaker 3: done that ever.
- 30:18Speaker 2: I mean I would think it like please choose me,
- 30:20Speaker 2: but I don't know that I would be able.
- 30:21Speaker 4: To right say that exactly.
- 30:23Speaker 2: But you felt it, Yeah, I think everyone has felt that.
- 30:26Speaker 4: I felt at times. Let us count the ways we.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Don't have to rehash because you're married, well, no, I
- 30:36Speaker 2: picked chosen.
- 30:37Speaker 4: And chosen and chosen every single day.
- 30:41Speaker 2: It's stunning.
- 30:42Speaker 4: It really is. Thirty seven years and we got here.
- 30:48Speaker 2: There's this Australian podcast in the host was asking if
- 30:50Speaker 2: you come from a guest family or an ask family.
- 30:54Speaker 2: So in a guest family you don't really directly ask
- 30:57Speaker 2: for anything ever, but instead just sneak in them and
- 31:00Speaker 2: of what you need and then in an ask family,
- 31:02Speaker 2: you ask what you need and leave it to the
- 31:04Speaker 2: other person to say yes or no. So I come
- 31:07Speaker 2: from a guest family, Like there was no direct communication.
- 31:10Speaker 2: It was kind of like let me see where the
- 31:15Speaker 2: line is, like no or just even maybe my personality.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I felt like it was like maybe they can just
- 31:23Speaker 2: guess what I need, almost like passive aggressive I guess,
- 31:28Speaker 2: h what would you what would you say?
- 31:30Speaker 4: I don't understand the question.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Did you come from a family where you could be
- 31:34Speaker 2: direct and say what you needed and you either got
- 31:37Speaker 2: a yes or no? And it was like very.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Clear, like I need a cracker, or like I need
- 31:41Speaker 4: a hug, Like I need a hug, or I think
- 31:45Speaker 4: I asked or did.
- 31:46Speaker 2: You come from a family where you were like acting.
- 31:48Speaker 4: I'm really sad, but I want you to hug me, right.
- 31:51Speaker 2: But like not say I'm not say I'm really sad,
- 31:53Speaker 2: I want you to hug me. Like that's a direct communication.
- 31:56Speaker 2: I'm saying that you act out and you're being like
- 31:59Speaker 2: moody and offensive and instead of just being like I
- 32:02Speaker 2: just need a hug, you do all the things trying
- 32:05Speaker 2: to get them to guess what you need.
- 32:07Speaker 3: So I don't really know the answer to that if
- 32:10Speaker 3: I'm being honest. But the way that I act now,
- 32:13Speaker 3: I feel like I'll do things that are like passive
- 32:15Speaker 3: aggressive sometimes to Robbie.
- 32:17Speaker 4: And I'm like, why did I just say it?
- 32:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Like why did I just like ask him or
- 32:22Speaker 3: tell him exactly what I wanted. I'm better about it now, right,
- 32:25Speaker 3: but like I would be very passive aggressive in the
- 32:27Speaker 3: early days, and I'm like, why did I do that?
- 32:29Speaker 2: I still do that, but I also have been working
- 32:32Speaker 2: on it because Haley is actually very direct, so she'll
- 32:35Speaker 2: be like, this is what I'm feeling, this is what
- 32:38Speaker 2: I need to hear. Can you hug me? So I'm
- 32:41Speaker 2: just like, check, what else do you need? And then me,
- 32:44Speaker 2: I'm like, I'll act out, and then I think, what
- 32:48Speaker 2: am I trying to get her to do? I'm just
- 32:50Speaker 2: gonna try to communicate it so that I can just
- 32:53Speaker 2: get what I need and we can move on. Yes,
- 32:55Speaker 2: because it's exhausting. Is exhausting, exhausting, and I'm so glad.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I feel grateful that she isn't a guest person because.
- 33:04Speaker 4: It's what exhausts me. Yeah, so I have.
- 33:06Speaker 2: To be more intentional about not being a guest person,
- 33:09Speaker 2: because jeez, tough, tough. Okay, Tanya had some more behind
- 33:15Speaker 2: the scenes things which I really felt like we covered everything,
- 33:17Speaker 2: but you have more to share about the wedding.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Well, it's like things that happened behind the scenes the
- 33:22Speaker 3: day that I didn't find out until like today.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I love this. I don't know these so I can't
- 33:27Speaker 2: wait to hear. But first we're going to take a break.

- 35:05Speaker 1: You met Michelle Lally in the hit Bravo show The Valley.
- 35:08Speaker 1: You met me literally during the most difficult chapter in
- 35:11Speaker 1: my life. Now it's time for you to meet the
- 35:14Speaker 1: real met Michelle Sennye. Yes, I change my name, and
- 35:17Speaker 1: I want you to follow me on my journey to
- 35:19Speaker 1: the pursuit of sassiness. So much has happened to me before, during,
- 35:23Speaker 1: and after the show. Before you can really understand the
- 35:27Speaker 1: eight weeks that you saw on TV, I think you
- 35:29Speaker 1: have to know what was going on from the very beginning,
- 35:32Speaker 1: from being raised by two immigrant parents, paying my own
- 35:35Speaker 1: way through college and working at Hooters, to starting my
- 35:38Speaker 1: own real estate empire, getting married, having a baby during COVID,
- 35:43Speaker 1: to that very same marriage, falling apart on national TV,
- 35:46Speaker 1: to losing my mom, to eventually finding love again. There
- 35:50Speaker 1: is so much to unpack and share. I'm on the
- 35:52Speaker 1: pursuit of happiness and most importantly, I'm on the pursuit
- 35:56Speaker 1: of sassiness. Listen to Pursuit of Sassiness starting on March
- 35:59Speaker 1: seventeenth on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you
- 36:03Speaker 1: get your podcasts.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Okay, we're back. So what happened that you didn't know about?
- 36:13Speaker 4: So we're paying the bills.
- 36:17Speaker 3: It was like so fun to do after a wedding,
- 36:21Speaker 3: but we've just kind of been like paying everything. We
- 36:24Speaker 3: have like one more like final bill to pay and
- 36:26Speaker 3: then that's it. But like Robbi and I were like,
- 36:29Speaker 3: let's go through all of our contracts with all the
- 36:32Speaker 3: vendors and make sure that they like delivered and like
- 36:34Speaker 3: what we put in our contract is what we got
- 36:36Speaker 3: type of stuff. And my wedding planner was like telling
- 36:40Speaker 3: us all these stories that happened the day of that,
- 36:42Speaker 3: Like we had no idea, like there was one thing
- 36:46Speaker 3: that we were up like that we were very uh
- 36:50Speaker 3: specific about on the at the reception we really wanted.
- 36:55Speaker 4: I did not want a buffet, and I.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Was assured that we would not have a buff that
- 37:00Speaker 3: it would be like live grilling, like live grilling.
- 37:02Speaker 4: The fish and live grilling the thing.
- 37:04Speaker 3: And when I showed up, it was like a buffet
- 37:06Speaker 3: that was literally the only thing that I noticed and
- 37:09Speaker 3: clogged at all. Everything else, in my opinion, like could
- 37:13Speaker 3: not have been. It was amazing. But it's so funny
- 37:17Speaker 3: because my wedding planner was like ted telling us all
- 37:19Speaker 3: this stuff, and I was like, oh my gosh, I
- 37:20Speaker 3: had no idea. So like apparently the flowers that came
- 37:23Speaker 3: for the welcome party were like completely different than what
- 37:26Speaker 3: we'd wanted. We asked for like eighteen bud vases, and
- 37:29Speaker 3: they only brought like eight or something we asked for,
- 37:33Speaker 3: like an arrangement, a different arrangement of candles, like all
- 37:37Speaker 3: these like little things that like obviously, even now like
- 37:40Speaker 3: looking back, I'm like, oh, yeah, I did think that
- 37:43Speaker 3: looked a little different than what we had discussed, you
- 37:46Speaker 3: know what I mean. And then apparently like my bouquet
- 37:49Speaker 3: came with like all this greenery in it, and she
- 37:51Speaker 3: made them remake it.
- 37:54Speaker 4: And all this stuff. She didn't tell me, like I
- 37:56Speaker 4: literally had no idea the day up until now. There
- 38:00Speaker 4: was something else.
- 38:00Speaker 3: She was saying that, like the the light, there was
- 38:04Speaker 3: a different vendor that was in charge of like the
- 38:05Speaker 3: music and the lighting and everything, and she said that
- 38:07Speaker 3: he was like amazing and on top of it, and.
- 38:12Speaker 4: What else.
- 38:17Speaker 3: She had to remind them, like, you know how like
- 38:19Speaker 3: when you walk down the aisle and we had like
- 38:22Speaker 3: the hoopah the arc and I don't know if you
- 38:24Speaker 3: even know, I don't even know if anybody would notice,
- 38:26Speaker 3: but I noticed it. There was all these beach chairs
- 38:29Speaker 3: and like umbrellas that were on the beach are for
- 38:31Speaker 3: the guests, but they completely cleaned the beach of all
- 38:34Speaker 3: that stuff. So it was literally just like clean beach
- 38:37Speaker 3: behind us. And I would have totally forgot to remind
- 38:40Speaker 3: them to do that. And Marjorie, my wedding planner, was like,
- 38:44Speaker 3: I had to remind them to like, you know, move
- 38:46Speaker 3: all that stuff.
- 38:46Speaker 2: WHOA, Yeah, that's so crazy you say that, because I
- 38:49Speaker 2: remember when we were walking down the stairs on the aisle,
- 38:53Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh, it was just like
- 38:55Speaker 2: the beat. I could see the beach.
- 38:56Speaker 4: Yeah, it was just like straight beach.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 38:58Speaker 3: But if you looked the day before, there was probably
- 39:01Speaker 3: like one hundred lounge chairs and umbrellas. But they moved
- 39:04Speaker 3: everything out for the for the ceremony. Wow, which probably
- 39:07Speaker 3: takes a long time.
- 39:08Speaker 2: It's probably not easy.
- 39:09Speaker 4: No, no, easy feet. They turned it out for us.
- 39:12Speaker 2: They really did it. Yeah, I mean that's all that
- 39:15Speaker 2: the that's pretty amazing that your list, like the few
- 39:18Speaker 2: the minor things that went.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh my gosh, and the things that like
- 39:22Speaker 3: we like crossed our fingers and were like, hope this
- 39:25Speaker 3: works out. Worked out amazing, Like the band, the DJ
- 39:31Speaker 3: could not.
- 39:32Speaker 4: Have been more phenomenal or amazing.
- 39:34Speaker 3: The late night snacks they had at Laita, like the
- 39:37Speaker 3: chicken tenders and the friess like amazing. My only regret
- 39:43Speaker 3: is that the dessert. When we tried the dessert, it
- 39:48Speaker 3: was like orgasmic, Like I was like, I don't even
- 39:51Speaker 3: care to have a cake because these desserts are.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Like life changing.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Yeah, and they came out at nine o'clock and I
- 39:58Speaker 3: don't think anybody knew they came out, and everybody's on
- 40:00Speaker 3: the dance floor. Yeah, and I wish I would have
- 40:02Speaker 3: like put them on a tray and like brought them
- 40:04Speaker 3: to people because a lot of people didn't try it.
- 40:06Speaker 4: And I've I've been talking about these desserts for like
- 40:08Speaker 4: a month. You did, yeah, and a lot of people
- 40:10Speaker 4: didn't get to try them.
- 40:12Speaker 2: When you're raging, there's no time to eat dessert.
- 40:14Speaker 3: I know, I know when you're having like the time
- 40:17Speaker 3: of your life. I literally could probably watch videos from
- 40:19Speaker 3: my wedding every day until I don't even know when
- 40:22Speaker 3: it's gonna get old.
- 40:23Speaker 2: It's amazing because normally, like when there's a lot of
- 40:26Speaker 2: content from one thing, like I feel like people are
- 40:29Speaker 2: like okay, like that's gooving on, but everyone's loving it.
- 40:33Speaker 2: They're like more and more and more. They wanted us
- 40:35Speaker 2: to do more episodes about the wedding. I'm like, I
- 40:37Speaker 2: don't know what else to say.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I mean, I still have like I still have so
- 40:40Speaker 4: much to say.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 40:42Speaker 4: I mean just with the planning and like stuff I
- 40:44Speaker 4: could have done, like stuff that I I I would.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Tell myself before all of it, you know what I mean,
- 40:50Speaker 3: Like obviously it all worked out and I'm so happy
- 40:51Speaker 3: and I'd have no regrets, but like, yeah, there's like
- 40:55Speaker 3: I mean, there's just like so much that I learned.
- 40:57Speaker 4: I mean, I'm gonna be so good.
- 40:58Speaker 3: For you when you're time comes, because I'm just gonna
- 41:01Speaker 3: be like a wealth of knowledge, like you could literally
- 41:04Speaker 3: I'm like chat shept.
- 41:05Speaker 4: For your wedding planning. Wow, Yeah, you're welcome.
- 41:08Speaker 2: You should compile a list and maybe we do do
- 41:11Speaker 2: like a bonus episode where we talk about those things
- 41:14Speaker 2: about like the process of planning and things you would
- 41:16Speaker 2: have done differently or whatever those are, because I do
- 41:19Speaker 2: think those things are helpful, and there's so many people
- 41:21Speaker 2: that are in the thick of going through that.
- 41:24Speaker 3: But I do want to give a shout out to Lisa.
- 41:27Speaker 3: She works for the hotel that we got married at.
- 41:30Speaker 4: We got married at Susos Susios del Kota so On,
- 41:34Speaker 4: which means Whispers of the Heart.
- 41:35Speaker 2: And she.
- 41:38Speaker 3: From the minute we were like wanting to tour the space,
- 41:44Speaker 3: I remember the girl, the woman who ended up meeting
- 41:46Speaker 3: us to give us this tour a rally, who was
- 41:48Speaker 3: like our.
- 41:49Speaker 4: Hand boots on the ground girl.
- 41:51Speaker 3: She was like, uh, my coworker loves your podcast.
- 41:55Speaker 4: She's a scrubber, she's obsessed.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Lahlah, and uh, I felt like every time I came there,
- 42:02Speaker 3: they had like butterflies in the room and they just
- 42:04Speaker 3: like really were just so sweet, and she sent me
- 42:06Speaker 3: a really sweet email the morning of the wedding, and yeah,
- 42:10Speaker 3: it was just like kind of cool that, like the
- 42:12Speaker 3: venue we ended up choosing, and we didn't choose it
- 42:14Speaker 3: because obviously because of scrubber, but it's like the fact
- 42:16Speaker 3: that we chose it and that a scrubber was like
- 42:19Speaker 3: involved in all of it, and that there's like so
- 42:22Speaker 3: many butterflies on the property, it just all felt very serendipitous.
- 42:26Speaker 2: So serendipitous. Also, shout out to Lisa because she helped
- 42:28Speaker 2: with the bachelourette location as well.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Shout out Lisa.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Lisa's everything to us. Also, I just realized that, so
- 42:37Speaker 2: I posted the link to my dress. The name of
- 42:40Speaker 2: the color of my dress was Champagne butterfly. No, how crazy.
- 42:45Speaker 2: I didn't even know. People were texting me like, I don't.
- 42:47Speaker 4: Know, butterflies were on your dress when you bought it?
- 42:49Speaker 4: Is absurd. You sent me the.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Picture and I said no, and that picture but on
- 42:55Speaker 2: the website you can't see it.
- 42:56Speaker 3: When you sent me the pictures of the two options,
- 42:58Speaker 3: I was like, there's butterflies in this dress.
- 42:59Speaker 4: This is absolutely the one you have to wear.
- 43:01Speaker 2: But the name was Champagne Butterfly. Are you joking? And
- 43:06Speaker 2: I was. I was searching champagne dresses and it just
- 43:09Speaker 2: it never popped up.
- 43:10Speaker 4: I mean, it was meant to be.
- 43:11Speaker 2: It was meant to be.
- 43:12Speaker 3: And everybody was like, I took posted a selfie with
- 43:14Speaker 3: Paulina and you could see like because I bought I
- 43:16Speaker 3: bought all my bridesmaids butterfly rings and they were like,
- 43:19Speaker 3: she wore butterfly earrings. I was like, well, I kind
- 43:22Speaker 3: of bought them for them, but yes, very significant.
- 43:26Speaker 4: That's right.
- 43:29Speaker 2: All right. Well, we have a guest coming on.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Thursday, Yes we do.
- 43:33Speaker 2: We have Heather ray El Musa coming in. I'm so
- 43:36Speaker 2: excited to talk to her. So don't worry, don't be sad.
- 43:41Speaker 4: Be glad.
- 43:41Speaker 2: We will be back. We love you so much.
- 43:43Speaker 4: To be continued to
