Mega Edition: Congress Turns Their Attention To Epstein's Accountant Richard Kahn (9/1/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Jeffrey Epstein had several people that were very,
• 0:09
Speaker 1: very close to him. And one of those people was
• 0:13
Speaker 1: his accountant, Richard Kahn. And not only that, but they
• 0:16
Speaker 1: were so close that Jeffrey Epstein named Richard Kahn as
• 0:21
Speaker 1: one of the executors of his estate. Well, yesterday Richard
• 0:25
Speaker 1: Kahn had an appearance before Congress where he was deposed.
• 0:30
Speaker 1: about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. And of course, we're
• 0:33
Speaker 1: getting some preliminary reports about what was said. Now, like usual,
• 0:38
Speaker 1: we're not going to go too deep here in this
• 0:39
Speaker 1: episode because we don't have the actual deposition in front
• 0:43
Speaker 1: of us. So instead, we'll just talk about some of
• 0:46
Speaker 1: the general answers and questions that came out after the
• 0:50
Speaker 1: deposition wrapped up. And then of course, once we have
• 0:52
Speaker 1: the transcripts, we'll get those added to the catalog. This
• 0:56
Speaker 1: article was published by ABC News and the headline, Epstein's
• 1:00
Speaker 1: accountant says he didn't see any red flags for abuse
• 1:04
Speaker 1: or trafficking. Hold up. Did they say Richard Kahn or
• 1:08
Speaker 1: Stevie Wonder? Because you'd have to be blind as hell
• 1:12
Speaker 1: not to see any red flags. There were more red
• 1:15
Speaker 1: flags here than a CCP rally in China. Are you
• 1:19
Speaker 1: kidding me right now? No red flags? And I'm 17
• 1:23
Speaker 1: feet tall. This article was authored by Peter Charlembeau, Lauren Peller,
• 1:29
Speaker 1: John Parkinson, and J. O'Brien. In his opening statement to
• 1:35
Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee, Jeffrey Epstein's longtime accountant claimed that
• 1:39
Speaker 1: he did not see any red flags in Epstein's finances
• 1:42
Speaker 1: that indicated the late convicted sex offender was trafficking women,
• 1:46
Speaker 1: according to his prepared remarks obtained by ABC News. And
• 1:51
Speaker 1: it's the same song and dance that we've heard time
• 1:53
Speaker 1: and time again. I had no idea, was never around them,
• 1:57
Speaker 1: I was just, you know, paying a couple of bills
• 1:59
Speaker 1: here and there. I had no idea that he was
• 2:01
Speaker 1: engaged in all this criminality. Meanwhile, Kahn and Indyk have
• 2:07
Speaker 1: their names littered, literally littered, over the vast majority of
• 2:12
Speaker 1: deals that Epstein was involved in. So how can you
• 2:17
Speaker 1: tell me you had no idea what Epstein was up to?
• 2:20
Speaker 1: You knew, and not only that, in my opinion, you
• 2:23
Speaker 1: personally benefited. Now, with that said, I'm not saying that
• 2:26
Speaker 1: they abused anybody. I don't know. Nobody ever said that.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: But they were a huge part in the machine. And
• 2:33
Speaker 1: we all know that Epstein and Maxwell couldn't do what
• 2:35
Speaker 1: they did without the help of others. And certainly somebody
• 2:39
Speaker 1: like Richard Kahn. Or maybe we should just call him
• 2:42
Speaker 1: Dick Kahn. That might be more fitting. Richard Kahn told
• 2:46
Speaker 1: lawmakers on Wednesday he was unaware of Epstein's crimes and
• 2:50
Speaker 1: claimed he only interacted with Epstein strictly. On a professional level. Oh, well, okay,
• 2:56
Speaker 1: I guess. If that's what you want to call it.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: Which is weird considering so many people told us how
• 3:04
Speaker 1: close that Richard Kahn and Jeffrey Epstein were. But I
• 3:07
Speaker 1: guess they were all lying and Richard Kahn's telling the truth.
• 3:10
Speaker 1: While Epstein was alive, I never observed any sexual abuse
• 3:14
Speaker 1: or trafficking of women and never received a complaint either
• 3:18
Speaker 1: by one of Epstein's victims or anyone else of such
• 3:21
Speaker 1: abuse or trafficking, he said. Yeah, I mean, Epstein and Kahn,
• 3:26
Speaker 1: obviously just acquaintances. They weren't that close. And the only
• 3:32
Speaker 1: reason that Epstein made Kahn an executor is to make
• 3:35
Speaker 1: Kahn's life more difficult later on down the road. Oh, wait,
• 3:39
Speaker 1: that didn't happen? And Kahn could have easily just turned
• 3:42
Speaker 1: down being an executor, but he didn't? Okay, I wonder why.
• 3:47
Speaker 1: And furthermore, how is it that Kahn and Mr. Indyke
• 3:52
Speaker 1: weren't wrapped up in some kind of RICO case? You
• 3:56
Speaker 1: want to talk about a gigantic conspiracy? You want to
• 3:59
Speaker 1: talk about Rico? It's all right here. The same shit
• 4:04
Speaker 1: they were trying to hit Diddy with, they should have
• 4:06
Speaker 1: dropped directly into Jeffrey Epstein's lap. And if they would
• 4:09
Speaker 1: have done that, we would have been talking about something
• 4:11
Speaker 1: completely different at this point. But unfortunately, that was never
• 4:15
Speaker 1: going to happen. And the narrow scope of the investigation
• 4:19
Speaker 1: and the charges prove that. How do you have an
• 4:23
Speaker 1: investigation where the FBI calls Les Wexner, a possible co-conspirator,
• 4:29
Speaker 1: but nobody ever talks to him? How is that considered
• 4:32
Speaker 1: an investigation? It's not. What it is, is a gigantic jerk-off.
• 4:38
Speaker 1: That's what it is. So you can save your fugazi
• 4:41
Speaker 1: bullshit for somebody else. We already know that no investigation
• 4:45
Speaker 1: took place, because in my opinion, if it did, Mr. Khan...
• 4:50
Speaker 1: would be giving this interview from behind bars. Khan acknowledged
• 4:55
Speaker 1: that Epstein gave gifts to both women and men and
• 4:59
Speaker 1: said they accounted for a very small fraction of Epstein's spending. Well,
• 5:03
Speaker 1: I'm sure that that's true. Epstein was somebody that was
• 5:07
Speaker 1: spending a lot of money on a lot of different things.
• 5:11
Speaker 1: But there's no doubt that he was giving out an
• 5:13
Speaker 1: absurd amount of money as hush money to these women.
• 5:18
Speaker 1: Zero doubt. And it was all part of the web, right?
• 5:21
Speaker 1: The web of coercion. And the financial part of it
• 5:24
Speaker 1: was so that later on down the road, meaning now,
• 5:28
Speaker 1: Epstein supporters, I can't even believe I'm saying that, and
• 5:31
Speaker 1: people that want this to go away can just point
• 5:34
Speaker 1: to those payments and say, look, these girls, these women,
• 5:36
Speaker 1: they were all prostitutes. They wanted it. Did you see
• 5:39
Speaker 1: the short dress they were wearing? That might as well
• 5:42
Speaker 1: be what you're saying. And I reject it entirely. I
• 5:46
Speaker 1: did not see them as red flags for abuse or trafficking,
• 5:49
Speaker 1: he said. So after Epstein's first arrest, no big deal.
• 5:53
Speaker 1: You're just like, ah, you know, he was just framed.
• 5:57
Speaker 1: All the evidence that came out, all the smart people
• 6:00
Speaker 1: you're around, you're being a smart person yourself, allegedly. You
• 6:04
Speaker 1: had no idea what Jeffrey Epstein was, and there were
• 6:07
Speaker 1: no red flags that concerned you. That is quite the leap.
• 6:13
Speaker 1: But unfortunately, there's nothing that's ever going to happen to anybody,
• 6:17
Speaker 1: even the ones that lie in a Congress. What's Congress
• 6:19
Speaker 1: going to do? Send them a strongly worded letter? Have
• 6:24
Speaker 1: a little press conference about them? I mean, that's about
• 6:26
Speaker 1: the extent of their oversight and the extent of their power.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: They're not going to do anything worthwhile. And this whole
• 6:34
Speaker 1: entire thing is nothing more than political theater when we're
• 6:37
Speaker 1: talking about this committee. And I've told you that from
• 6:40
Speaker 1: the very beginning. And if it wasn't for the discharge petition,
• 6:44
Speaker 1: forget it. This would have been done, buried and gone.
• 6:50
Speaker 1: He argued that Epstein's financial practices were completely standard practice.
• 6:54
Speaker 1: Kahn said Epstein told him his 2000 arrest was a mistake,
• 6:58
Speaker 1: that he did not know the girls were underage. Kahn
• 7:01
Speaker 1: said he believed him at the time. Had he known
• 7:03
Speaker 1: the truth? Kahn said he would have quit work immediately.
• 7:06
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, sure you would have, because the truth wasn't
• 7:09
Speaker 1: very clear. How many of these guys are going to
• 7:13
Speaker 1: use that excuse? Oh, well, I believed Epstein, saying that
• 7:17
Speaker 1: he was set up. saying that, you know, the girl
• 7:19
Speaker 1: was 17 and 10 months. And if you're wondering why
• 7:26
Speaker 1: I'm so apoplectic about what happened in Florida, this is why.
• 7:30
Speaker 1: It gives all these people the cover they need to
• 7:33
Speaker 1: try and smooth this over. But I refuse to accept it.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: I refuse to accept any of that bullshit. Sorry, nobody
• 7:41
Speaker 1: can tell me that there was a real investigation here.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: Nobody can tell me that Epstein faced the kind of
• 7:46
Speaker 1: scrutiny that you or I would have faced. So anybody
• 7:50
Speaker 1: trying to pitch that shit, they might as well talk
• 7:52
Speaker 1: to a wall because I'm not interested in that conversation.
• 7:57
Speaker 1: There is no doubt what Epstein was up to. No doubt.
• 8:00
Speaker 1: And anybody that's denying it has motivations to do so
• 8:04
Speaker 1: for whatever reason. But they're not motivations that come from
• 8:08
Speaker 1: a good place. I can promise you that. I was
• 8:13
Speaker 1: not aware of the nature or extent of Epstein's abuse
• 8:16
Speaker 1: of so many women until after Epstein's death, Kahn said. However,
• 8:20
Speaker 1: it pains me to think, and I deeply regret, that
• 8:23
Speaker 1: I may have unknowingly assisted Epstein in any way. Oh,
• 8:27
Speaker 1: there it is. Oh, I don't recall. Maybe. I don't know.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: But if I did, it was unknowingly. This is the
• 8:36
Speaker 1: kind of bullshit they're going to keep doing, the same
• 8:38
Speaker 1: kind of bullshit they're going to keep saying, and the
• 8:41
Speaker 1: same sort of shit They expect us just to accept.
• 8:46
Speaker 1: And considering the emails I've received, I don't think anybody
• 8:50
Speaker 1: out there who's listening to this program is willing to
• 8:53
Speaker 1: accept their nonsense. Kahn served as Epstein's accountant for over
• 8:58
Speaker 1: a decade, and some of Epstein's victims alleged he played
• 9:02
Speaker 1: an instrumental role in creating the complex financial infrastructure that
• 9:06
Speaker 1: enabled the financier's crimes. Well, that's true. According to all
• 9:11
Speaker 1: the documentation we've seen, there's no doubt that without Kahn
• 9:15
Speaker 1: and without Indyk, Epstein could have never done even close
• 9:19
Speaker 1: to what he did. And that's just a fact. Kahn
• 9:25
Speaker 1: has consistently denied any wrongdoing and says he was unaware
• 9:28
Speaker 1: of Epstein's crimes while serving as his accountant. The closed-door deposition,
• 9:32
Speaker 1: a recording of which is expected to be released by
• 9:36
Speaker 1: the committee... could provide a rare window into how Epstein
• 9:39
Speaker 1: paid for his lavish lifestyle and funneled thousands of dollars
• 9:43
Speaker 1: to his victims. Yeah, if you believe what Khan is saying,
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: I don't. And if I'm being real, I don't really
• 9:49
Speaker 1: believe anything people are saying in these depositions. Nobody's scared
• 9:53
Speaker 1: of being under oath. What's going to happen? Again, a
• 9:56
Speaker 1: strongly worded letter. Robert Garcia is going to have a
• 10:00
Speaker 1: press conference? Give me a break already. While some of
• 10:05
Speaker 1: the recent witnesses deposed by the House Oversight Committee, including
• 10:09
Speaker 1: Bill and Hillary Clinton and retail billionaire Leslie Wexner, have
• 10:13
Speaker 1: drawn immense publicity, the interviews have largely left unchanged the
• 10:17
Speaker 1: public's understanding of Epstein's life and crimes, all by design.
• 10:22
Speaker 1: That's what this committee was built for. It was built
• 10:26
Speaker 1: to whitewash this. I'm sorry to say it, but it's true.
• 10:31
Speaker 1: And this whole entire dance is being led by James Comer.
• 10:35
Speaker 1: By turning to Epstein's former inner circle with Kahn and
• 10:38
Speaker 1: his longtime lawyer Darren Indyke, who is set to be
• 10:41
Speaker 1: deposed next week, the congressional investigation could offer a broader
• 10:45
Speaker 1: window into Epstein's life, legal troubles, And the complex web
• 10:49
Speaker 1: of bank accounts. And shell companies. That comprised his fortune.
• 10:54
Speaker 1: Boy if you think that's going to happen. I got
• 10:57
Speaker 1: some seriously fantastic beachfront property. Right here in Las Vegas.
• 11:01
Speaker 1: To sell you. Nobody is going to rat on themselves. Nobody.
• 11:08
Speaker 1: And these people that are getting up there. And giving depositions.
• 11:12
Speaker 1: They're very aware. Of how not to walk into the trap.
• 11:15
Speaker 1: Of perjury. Conned. began working as Epstein's in-house accountant in
• 11:21
Speaker 1: the mid-2000s and worked for Epstein until his death in 2019.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: Kahn and Indyk served as the co-executors of his will
• 11:29
Speaker 1: and Epstein planned to give Kahn $ 25 million, according to
• 11:33
Speaker 1: documents released by the Department of Justice earlier this year.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: Following Epstein's death, his estate was valued as much as
• 11:42
Speaker 1: $ 650 million, though the fortune has decreased over the last decade.
• 11:46
Speaker 1: as the estate has paid out multiple settlements to Epstein's victims.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: Last month, Connan and Dyke agreed to settle one of
• 11:54
Speaker 1: the last class action lawsuits filed by victims of Epstein
• 11:58
Speaker 1: for at least $ 25 million without an admission of wrongdoing.
• 12:03
Speaker 1: The estate was last valued at approximately $ 127 million, according
• 12:08
Speaker 1: to a court filing last October. And all of that
• 12:11
Speaker 1: should be paid out, by the way. Everybody who got assaulted,
• 12:15
Speaker 1: everybody who was abused... they should be getting gigantic bags.
• 12:18
Speaker 1: But the truth is, the vast majority of those girls
• 12:21
Speaker 1: didn't get a giant bag. The class action complaint alleged
• 12:27
Speaker 1: that both men were personally essential for Epstein by helping
• 12:30
Speaker 1: structure his bank accounts, managing cash withdrawals, and creating a
• 12:35
Speaker 1: complex financial infrastructure created to simply facilitate the illegal sex
• 12:40
Speaker 1: trafficking venture. The lawsuit also alleged that the men helped
• 12:44
Speaker 1: Epstein facilitate at least three sham marriages to obtain immigration
• 12:48
Speaker 1: status from Epstein's victims. Yo, this is something that is
• 12:52
Speaker 1: going to come out later on, and I think there's
• 12:54
Speaker 1: a lot more than three. Now, I can't prove that,
• 12:57
Speaker 1: and I don't have any kind of contemporaneous evidence to
• 13:00
Speaker 1: back that up, besides what we've heard. And I think
• 13:04
Speaker 1: as we dig deeper, and we hear from more women
• 13:07
Speaker 1: from these different countries, if we hear from them, then
• 13:10
Speaker 1: that's what we're going to find out. That there was
• 13:13
Speaker 1: a vast scheme going on that had to do with
• 13:17
Speaker 1: immigration fraud. Knowing that they would earn millions of dollars
• 13:20
Speaker 1: in exchange for facilitating Epstein's sex abuse and trafficking, Indyk
• 13:25
Speaker 1: and Kahn chose money and power over following the law.
• 13:28
Speaker 1: The complaint said the settlement did not include an admission
• 13:32
Speaker 1: of wrongdoing and still needs to be approved by a
• 13:34
Speaker 1: federal judge. While both men were named as defendants in
• 13:38
Speaker 1: the case, the settlement will also be paid through Epstein's
• 13:41
Speaker 1: trust rather than by them directly. Neither of the co-executors
• 13:46
Speaker 1: has made any admission or concession of misconduct, said Dan Wiener,
• 13:52
Speaker 1: an attorney for both men, said in a statement to
• 13:54
Speaker 1: ABC News last month. That's not surprising. Not a single
• 13:58
Speaker 1: woman has ever accused either man of committing sexual abuse
• 14:02
Speaker 1: or witnessing sexual abuse, nor claimed at any time that
• 14:06
Speaker 1: she reported to them any allegation of Mr. Epstein's abuse. Well,
• 14:11
Speaker 1: who was signing the checks? Who was doing the books?
• 14:15
Speaker 1: cooking them probably. Let's talk about those financial crimes. Can
• 14:19
Speaker 1: we ever get around to that? Or do those not matter?
• 14:26
Speaker 1: Lawmakers last year began increasing their scrutiny on both Kahn
• 14:29
Speaker 1: and Indyk following a report in the Wall Street Journal
• 14:32
Speaker 1: that both men were never questioned by law enforcement investigating
• 14:36
Speaker 1: Epstein and Glenn Maxwell. Yeah, and I'm the asshole, huh?
• 14:40
Speaker 1: For pointing it out at the time. I remember people saying,
• 14:43
Speaker 1: there's no way, of course they've been talked to. Yeah, well,
• 14:46
Speaker 1: guess what? The fix was in. In light of the
• 14:50
Speaker 1: work Indykin Khan performed for Epstein and the outsized role
• 14:54
Speaker 1: they played in his personal and financial affairs, it's inexcusable
• 14:58
Speaker 1: that the DOJ and the FBI never questioned these individuals
• 15:02
Speaker 1: in connection with investigations into Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. A
• 15:07
Speaker 1: group of five Democratic senators wrote in a letter to
• 15:10
Speaker 1: Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel last year.
• 15:14
Speaker 1: A failure of this magnitude cannot be attributed to simple
• 15:18
Speaker 1: oversight or misunderstanding, and it's incumbent on Congress to understand
• 15:23
Speaker 1: why such a failure occurred. And by the way, it
• 15:27
Speaker 1: wasn't just the Trump administration. The Biden administration tried Ghislaine Maxwell,
• 15:32
Speaker 1: and they did it with a narrow scope, for the
• 15:34
Speaker 1: same exact reason. They were covering it up. So when
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: I talk about a cover-up, that's what I mean, that
• 15:42
Speaker 1: this has been covered up for decades now. Documents released
• 15:48
Speaker 1: earlier this year offered some new details about Kahn's role
• 15:52
Speaker 1: managing expenses for Epstein and serving in roles in some
• 15:55
Speaker 1: of the companies that comprised the complex web of Epstein's finances.
• 16:00
Speaker 1: According to a 2020 lawsuit against the Epstein estate filed
• 16:04
Speaker 1: by the U.S. Virgin Islands government, Epstein paid Kahn more
• 16:08
Speaker 1: than $ 10 million between 2011 and 2019 for his services.
• 16:14
Speaker 1: Ahead of his deposition, Daniel Ruzuma, an attorney for Khan,
• 16:18
Speaker 1: declined to comment. So look, I have no idea what
• 16:23
Speaker 1: Khan actually said during that deposition, but I doubt it's
• 16:26
Speaker 1: going to be impactful. And I certainly doubt that he'd
• 16:29
Speaker 1: said anything to incriminate himself. So I don't think that
• 16:32
Speaker 1: Khan or Indyk are ever going to have to answer
• 16:36
Speaker 1: for their bullshit when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein. Because
• 16:39
Speaker 1: for that to happen, there would have to be a
• 16:41
Speaker 1: real investigation, and we all know that that's not going
• 16:44
Speaker 1: to occur. So, once we get the deposition transcripts, we'll
• 16:49
Speaker 1: get those added to the catalog. That way we get
• 16:51
Speaker 1: a full accounting of what Mr. Khan had to say
• 16:54
Speaker 1: for himself during his appearance in front of Congress. All
• 16:59
Speaker 1: the information that goes with this episode can be found
• 17:03
Speaker 1: in the description box. What's up everyone, and welcome to
• 17:06
Speaker 1: another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Now that Dick Kahn
• 17:11
Speaker 1: has given his testimony to Congress, we're starting to get
• 17:14
Speaker 1: some of the initial reports about what he might have said.
• 17:18
Speaker 1: And according to Democrats, he made some inconsistent statements about
• 17:23
Speaker 1: Donald Trump and the accuser, Jane Doe number four, who
• 17:28
Speaker 1: accused Donald Trump of abusing her. And while that might
• 17:31
Speaker 1: be true, I'm pretty sure that Dick Kahn had a
• 17:35
Speaker 1: whole bunch of inconsistent statements about Jeffrey Epstein in general.
• 17:40
Speaker 1: But here's the biggest problem. And it's the same problem
• 17:42
Speaker 1: that we've had since Congress initiated this whole quote-unquote investigation.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: And that is, the people conducting the investigation don't know
• 17:51
Speaker 1: the story. And that's just the truth. You really think
• 17:55
Speaker 1: James Comer has done a deep dive on what happened here?
• 17:59
Speaker 1: Or Robert Garcia? Or do you think that they're cherry-picking
• 18:02
Speaker 1: shit that they think is going to be helpful to
• 18:05
Speaker 1: whatever stupid team they're on? Because that's what they're doing.
• 18:09
Speaker 1: Make no mistake about it. And you know what's crazy?
• 18:12
Speaker 1: I've seen people who are completely adamant that the Epstein
• 18:16
Speaker 1: files are nothing but a hoax, right? But at the
• 18:19
Speaker 1: same time, they're trying to malign their political opponents by
• 18:23
Speaker 1: pointing out that they're in the files. So which is it?
• 18:26
Speaker 1: Is it a hoax? Or is it embarrassing to be
• 18:29
Speaker 1: caught up with Jeffrey Epstein? And in some cases, criminal.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: You can't have it both ways, right? But there's a
• 18:38
Speaker 1: lot of people out there that are picking and choosing
• 18:41
Speaker 1: where to lob allegations when the truth is there are
• 18:44
Speaker 1: plenty of allegations to go around. And if you stay
• 18:47
Speaker 1: focused on just one person, you're going to miss the
• 18:50
Speaker 1: bigger story. And I can't tell you how many people
• 18:52
Speaker 1: I have seen missing the bigger story because they have
• 18:55
Speaker 1: tunnel vision. But to be fair, I haven't seen the
• 18:58
Speaker 1: transcripts yet, so I don't know what was actually said
• 19:02
Speaker 1: during this testimony. So what we're going to do here
• 19:05
Speaker 1: is dive into an article from CBS News and talk
• 19:08
Speaker 1: about what some of the people that were there said
• 19:11
Speaker 1: went down. Like I said, this article was published by
• 19:16
Speaker 1: CBS News and the headline Democrats say Epstein accountant made
• 19:20
Speaker 1: inconsistent statements about Trump accuser. This article was authored by
• 19:26
Speaker 1: Graham Cates. And I have a funny feeling there were
• 19:30
Speaker 1: plenty of inconsistent statements made by Mr. Dick Kahn. But
• 19:34
Speaker 1: the committee just don't know what they're looking for. I mean,
• 19:37
Speaker 1: they're all focused here on Trump and I get it, right?
• 19:39
Speaker 1: Sitting president, cover up, named more times in these files
• 19:44
Speaker 1: than God in the Bible. Certainly somebody we should talk to.
• 19:47
Speaker 1: But if we just focus on that one avenue. all
• 19:50
Speaker 1: these other scumbags are going to scurry away. And as
• 19:54
Speaker 1: far as I'm concerned, Richard Kahn should not be let
• 19:57
Speaker 1: off the hook. This is a man that was very
• 20:00
Speaker 1: important to the inner workings of Epstein's criminal empire. Now,
• 20:04
Speaker 1: I'm not saying he was abusing anybody physically, but he
• 20:08
Speaker 1: was conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein and Jeffrey Epstein's criminal empire
• 20:12
Speaker 1: to continue to make things move forward. And of course
• 20:14
Speaker 1: that meant more abuse. And if you're a part of
• 20:18
Speaker 1: a conspiracy, you don't actually have to commit the abuse yourself.
• 20:22
Speaker 1: You just have to be part of the plot. And
• 20:26
Speaker 1: under normal circumstances, all these people that were around Epstein,
• 20:29
Speaker 1: from his butler to his pilots to Richard Kahn and
• 20:32
Speaker 1: Darren Indyke, they'd all be hit with RICO charges and
• 20:36
Speaker 1: this would be a whole ass different conversation. Richard Kahn,
• 20:44
Speaker 1: who worked closely with Epstein for more than a decade
• 20:46
Speaker 1: and serves as an executor of his estate, testified before
• 20:50
Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday. He initially told the
• 20:53
Speaker 1: committee that Epstein's estate had reached a settlement with Jane
• 20:56
Speaker 1: Doe Forer, who had also accused the president of abuse. Mr.
• 21:01
Speaker 1: Trump has denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein, and the
• 21:05
Speaker 1: White House has called allegations against him baseless. Well, you
• 21:08
Speaker 1: know what's not baseless? The cover-up. And in fact, forget baseless,
• 21:12
Speaker 1: it's a grand slam. There is no doubt in my
• 21:15
Speaker 1: mind that this is a cover-up. And the Trump DOJ
• 21:19
Speaker 1: is right in the middle of all of it. In
• 21:21
Speaker 1: a letter to Khan's attorney, Daniel Ruzuma, Democratic Representative Robert
• 21:25
Speaker 1: Garcia and Ro Khanna of California, said Friday that Khan's
• 21:29
Speaker 1: account changed later in his deposition. Well, his account has
• 21:33
Speaker 1: changed time and time again. This is not a guy
• 21:36
Speaker 1: that I take serious or as a reliable narrator. None
• 21:41
Speaker 1: of these people that were in Epstein's inner circle are
• 21:43
Speaker 1: going to incriminate themselves. And that's why the only way
• 21:47
Speaker 1: to really get anything here is to have a criminal
• 21:50
Speaker 1: investigation where these people are all charged. And then, of course,
• 21:55
Speaker 1: it's like rats fleeing a ship. They'll start turning on
• 21:58
Speaker 1: each other. They'll start ratting. Anything to not have to
• 22:01
Speaker 1: do a bid. And that is how you go after
• 22:04
Speaker 1: a criminal enterprise. Did they do that here? Ever? Was
• 22:09
Speaker 1: that ever the... Game plan? We know it wasn't. But
• 22:13
Speaker 1: it wasn't for Diddy. It was for R. Kelly. It
• 22:17
Speaker 1: was for Keith Ranieri. So what's the difference with all
• 22:20
Speaker 1: of them and Epstein? Well, unfortunately, what's different is that
• 22:25
Speaker 1: none of them were assets for the US government. Whereas
• 22:28
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, on the other hand, most certainly was. Can
• 22:32
Speaker 1: we just stop fucking around, please? Can we just tell
• 22:34
Speaker 1: the truth for once? Like, I just don't understand how
• 22:38
Speaker 1: anyone can believe that Jeffrey Epstein was not an asset.
• 22:42
Speaker 1: And look, I'm not saying he was James Bond. He
• 22:44
Speaker 1: wasn't running around with all these gadgets, taking people out
• 22:48
Speaker 1: with heart attack guns. He was a middleman. He was
• 22:53
Speaker 1: a bundler. He was an information agent. And as a
• 22:57
Speaker 1: benefit for him doing that and collecting all that compromise
• 23:01
Speaker 1: and all that information, the CIA and the American government
• 23:05
Speaker 1: were willing to look the other way When he engaged
• 23:08
Speaker 1: in his predatory behavior. That's what they don't want you
• 23:11
Speaker 1: to know. That's what they're so worried about coming out.
• 23:15
Speaker 1: But it's obvious that's what was going on. So you
• 23:18
Speaker 1: can save your whole entire. Oh Jeffrey Epstein was a
• 23:21
Speaker 1: Mossad agent. No he wasn't. He was an asset for
• 23:24
Speaker 1: the Mossad. For the CIA. For MI6. For Russia. For
• 23:29
Speaker 1: Saudi Arabia. But at the end of the day. Jeffrey
• 23:32
Speaker 1: Epstein only cared about Jeffrey Epstein. Wasn't for love of country.
• 23:38
Speaker 1: wasn't because he was patriotic or religious. He was greedy.
• 23:43
Speaker 1: He wanted more. Whether it was more girls, more money,
• 23:45
Speaker 1: whatever it might be, he wanted more. And the best
• 23:50
Speaker 1: way to do that was to stay useful to the
• 23:52
Speaker 1: United States government and all their scummy allies around the world.
• 23:57
Speaker 1: And some that were enemies, by the way. But the
• 23:59
Speaker 1: truth is, Jeffrey Epstein was an asset. And that's how
• 24:02
Speaker 1: he got away with all this bullshit. And that's why
• 24:05
Speaker 1: the most transparent government in the whole world wants it
• 24:08
Speaker 1: to go away. After a consultation with your client, you
• 24:11
Speaker 1: said on the record that Mr. Kahn's prior statement regarding
• 24:14
Speaker 1: Jane Doe 4 was mistaken, and that neither you nor Mr.
• 24:19
Speaker 1: Kahn recognized the name as someone who had brought a
• 24:22
Speaker 1: claim against Mr. Epstein's estate, they wrote. In a response
• 24:26
Speaker 1: letter to the congressman on Friday, Ruzuma wrote that the
• 24:29
Speaker 1: confusion was due in part to the sheer number of
• 24:33
Speaker 1: Epstein's victims. Wait a minute, I thought there was only
• 24:35
Speaker 1: a couple of victims, it's just a big hoax. And
• 24:38
Speaker 1: all these girls are just telling stories. Isn't that what
• 24:41
Speaker 1: all of these fucking grifting clowns on the right have
• 24:44
Speaker 1: to say? You know which ones I'm talking about. The
• 24:48
Speaker 1: real tough guys. All this corruption in the world, all
• 24:52
Speaker 1: these disgusting people that have been outed by these files,
• 24:56
Speaker 1: and these scumbags are still running cover for people like
• 24:59
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein? Why does anybody listen to people like that?
• 25:04
Speaker 1: It's truly baffling to me. And not only that, they're
• 25:08
Speaker 1: just wrong about everything. Like, you can have wild opinions.
• 25:11
  Speaker 1: I don't give a shit what you think. Doesn't affect
• 25:13
Speaker 1: my life one way or the other. But when you're
• 25:15
Speaker 1: confidently wrong about something, then it becomes a problem. Because
• 25:20
Speaker 1: you're out here pitching bullshit, like Ana Paulina Luna was,
• 25:25
Speaker 1: and then people pick up on it, and it becomes
• 25:27
Speaker 1: a thing. Staff attorneys for Democrats on the Oversight Committee
• 25:33
Speaker 1: heard from Ruzuma on Thursday, according to the letter. The
• 25:37
Speaker 1: lawyer informed them that Jane Doe No. 4, the committee
• 25:40
Speaker 1: was referring to, had in fact filed a claim against
• 25:43
Speaker 1: the estate, but it was denied and no settlement was reached,
• 25:46
Speaker 1: the congressman wrote. But the lawmakers said the inconsistent and
• 25:51
Speaker 1: shifting statements continued later that day, when Ruzema told the
• 25:55
Speaker 1: committee attorneys he could no longer stand by his assertion
• 25:58
Speaker 1: that no settlement was reached with Jane Doe No. 4.
• 26:02
Speaker 1: I mean, come on. Like, quit fucking around. I've had enough.
• 26:07
Speaker 1: I've had my fill of bullshit. These people think you're
• 26:12
Speaker 1: stupid and they think that their new shiny object, the
• 26:15
Speaker 1: war in Iran, is going to keep people busy long
• 26:19
Speaker 1: enough for them to forget about what happened here. But
• 26:22
Speaker 1: I assure you that's not going to happen. If everybody
• 26:25
Speaker 1: in the world stops talking about this, I will not.
• 26:29
Speaker 1: When I tell you that I burned the boats on
• 26:30
Speaker 1: the beach, I mean it. There's no going back. There's
• 26:34
Speaker 1: no make a pretend. That we don't know what we
• 26:37
Speaker 1: know now? That we can just, you know, get on
• 26:40
Speaker 1: with our lives? Not me. I don't think anything can
• 26:43
Speaker 1: occur that is of substance until we deal with this. What,
• 26:49
Speaker 1: these people are just going to continue to rule over us?
• 26:51
Speaker 1: I'll be damned. And my fat yap's going to keep
• 26:54
Speaker 1: running until this has been sufficiently dealt with. The Democrats
• 26:58
Speaker 1: demanded that Ruzema confirm in writing whether Jane Doe Forr
• 27:02
Speaker 1: filed a claim against the Epstein estate and whether she
• 27:05
Speaker 1: received any settlement from the estate. He said Kahn truthfully
• 27:09
Speaker 1: and completely answered all questions posed to him at his
• 27:12
Speaker 1: deposition to the best of his recollection and considers the
• 27:16
Speaker 1: committee's work on the Epstein matter to be very important.
• 27:19
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the executive of the estate. This is exactly
• 27:23
Speaker 1: what he wants to do. He wants to be in D.C.
• 27:26
Speaker 1: answering questions about Jeffrey Epstein. Sure, everything's going swimmingly. Kahn
• 27:32
Speaker 1: was one of Epstein's closest associates in his final years.
• 27:35
Speaker 1: He testified on Wednesday that he was not aware of
• 27:38
Speaker 1: the nature or extent of Epstein's abuse of so many
• 27:41
Speaker 1: women until after Epstein's death. Kahn said during the deposition
• 27:46
Speaker 1: that had I learned of any of this horrific behavior,
• 27:49
Speaker 1: I would have quit work immediately. Oh, that's it? You
• 27:52
Speaker 1: would have just quit work? Well, aren't you a great guy.
• 27:55
Speaker 1: I'm going to quit my job because my boss was
• 27:57
Speaker 1: molesting girls by the thousand. Way to take a stand there,
• 28:00
Speaker 1: Dickie Kahn. Kahn said in his prepared remarks that he
• 28:04
Speaker 1: agreed to serve as an executor of Epstein's estate because
• 28:08
Speaker 1: he believed doing so would allow him to help alleviate
• 28:11
Speaker 1: the suffering of Epstein's victims. Oh man, isn't that a hoot?
• 28:16
Speaker 1: Well folks, Dickie Kahn, he's the real hero here and
• 28:20
Speaker 1: we're lucky to have him. said nobody ever. He said
• 28:24
Speaker 1: the Epstein Victim Compensation Fund resolved claims by over 130
• 28:28
Speaker 1: women in addition to another 60 settlements separately reached by
• 28:32
Speaker 1: the estate. After the deposition, Garcia, the committee's ranking member,
• 28:37
Speaker 1: said that cons worked, enabled Epstein, and that his massive
• 28:41
Speaker 1: sex trafficking ring would not have been possible without the
• 28:44
Speaker 1: consistent payments and services of his longtime accountant. Well, that's true.
• 28:49
Speaker 1: As much as I think Garcia is a moron, That's true.
• 28:53
Speaker 1: And when we're talking about the moving parts, Dick Kahn
• 28:57
Speaker 1: was a huge, gigantic piece of that. In a statement
• 29:03
Speaker 1: sent to reporters on Friday, Garcia and Kahn noted that
• 29:06
Speaker 1: Jane Doe 4 was interviewed by FBI agents four times.
• 29:10
Speaker 1: Congress and the public deserve a clear answer about whether
• 29:13
Speaker 1: the Epstein estate paid a settlement to an accuser who
• 29:17
Speaker 1: made serious allegations against Donald Trump, they said. I think
• 29:20
Speaker 1: that's legitimate. As you're investigating this and you're putting it
• 29:25
Speaker 1: all together, if she got a settlement for the Epstein stuff,
• 29:30
Speaker 1: then that gives her credibility, right? So I think it's
• 29:34
Speaker 1: crucial to figure out one way or the other what
• 29:36
Speaker 1: went down. Richard. Kahn needs to come clean about what
• 29:42
Speaker 1: the Epstein estate knows, the lawmakers added. And I think
• 29:45
Speaker 1: that's fair too, because he knows a lot more than
• 29:48
Speaker 1: he's ever going to let on. But unfortunately, we're never
• 29:50
Speaker 1: going to know that. Because like everybody else here, if
• 29:54
Speaker 1: he's truthful, if he's forthcoming, he's going to incriminate himself.
• 29:59
Speaker 1: So we can't do that. But as far as Richard
• 30:01
Speaker 1: Kahn being truthful during the deposition, I have my doubts
• 30:05
Speaker 1: about that. But like usual, we'll have to wait on
• 30:08
Speaker 1: the transcripts to get a full picture of what actually
• 30:12
Speaker 1: went down with all the nuance and context needed to
• 30:15
Speaker 1: really understand how the deposition went. So when that becomes available,
• 30:19
Speaker 1: obviously we'll have that added to the catalog. As for
• 30:22
Speaker 1: this one, that's going to do it. All the information
• 30:26
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
• 30:29
Speaker 1: description box. What's up everyone and welcome to another episode
• 30:33
Speaker 1: of the Epstein Chronicles. When we talk about Jeffrey Epstein
• 30:40
Speaker 1: and about the crimes that he committed over the decades,
• 30:43
Speaker 1: you can't tell that complete story without talking about Les
• 30:46
Speaker 1: Wexner and Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn. Now, for those
• 30:51
Speaker 1: of you who might not be aware, Les Wexner was
• 30:54
Speaker 1: the man who started L Brands, which included Victoria's Secret,
• 30:58
Speaker 1: Abercrombie & Fitch, and Bath & Body Works, and he
• 31:02
Speaker 1: was also Jeffrey Epstein's first known benefactor. And that relationship
• 31:08
Speaker 1: between the two of them is still unexplained. Nobody's ever,
• 31:11
Speaker 1: you know, really filled in the blanks. For whatever reason,
• 31:14
Speaker 1: Les Wexner has always been kind of a side story
• 31:17
Speaker 1: here when he should have been a main event. And
• 31:21
Speaker 1: that's because without Les Wexner and the legitimacy he gave
• 31:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein when this all first started, Epstein would have
• 31:29
Speaker 1: never been as successful as he was. And that's not
• 31:31
Speaker 1: even taking into account all the other allegations made against
• 31:34
Speaker 1: Les Wexner himself. I mean, Virginia accused Les Wexner of
• 31:39
Speaker 1: assaulting her. And not only that, but we heard from
• 31:43
Speaker 1: Maria Farmer how she was held captive by Les Wexner's people,
• 31:47
Speaker 1: his security team, on his mansion, his gigantic property out
• 31:51
Speaker 1: there in New Albany, Ohio. So it's not like Les
• 31:55
Speaker 1: Wexner is some background figure here. He's a key component.
• 31:58
Speaker 1: And when we talk about enablers and people that made
• 32:01
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein viable when it comes to this sort of
• 32:05
Speaker 1: dastardly draconian bullshit, one of the first people you need
• 32:09
Speaker 1: to look at is Les Wexner. And that's why when
• 32:12
Speaker 1: the committee first started handing out subpoenas, I was so critical.
• 32:16
Speaker 1: How are you going to have a process where you
• 32:19
Speaker 1: say you're looking to get to the bottom of what
• 32:21
Speaker 1: Epstein was up to, but you're not going to hit
• 32:23
Speaker 1: Les Wexner with a subpoena? That is just absurd. So
• 32:27
Speaker 1: finally now the House Committee has approved the subpoena to
• 32:31
Speaker 1: be sent to Les Wexner. And boy oh boy, it's
• 32:35
Speaker 1: about time. But it doesn't stop there. Because the committee
• 32:40
Speaker 1: has also okayed subpoenas for Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn,
• 32:45
Speaker 1: who are the executors of Jeffrey Epstein's estate, and in
• 32:49
Speaker 1: my opinion, co-conspirators. And I think that the records and
• 32:52
Speaker 1: the testimony bears that out. And if anybody should have
• 32:55
Speaker 1: the spotlight shined on them, It's Indyke and Khan. How
• 32:59
Speaker 1: about some questions about the videos and the hard drives
• 33:01
Speaker 1: that were removed from Jeffrey Epstein's house after the raid?
• 33:05
Speaker 1: Anybody going to ask Indyke and Khan about that? Anybody
• 33:08
Speaker 1: going to ask them about the sham marriages they were
• 33:10
Speaker 1: putting together or the documents they were involved in getting
• 33:14
Speaker 1: illegally when it comes to immigration? We can have any
• 33:18
Speaker 1: of those conversations. Or how about the fact that Darren
• 33:21
Speaker 1: Indyke was structuring when it comes to taking money out
• 33:24
Speaker 1: of the bank? And those are just the surface level
• 33:27
Speaker 1: issues without even diving into the financials or getting down
• 33:31
Speaker 1: into the nuance. And what's really wild is that the
• 33:33
Speaker 1: House committee thought that they could get away without subpoenaing
• 33:36
Speaker 1: people like this. Sure, Bill Barr was a very interesting listen.
• 33:41
Speaker 1: So was Acosta. But there's a lot more to this.
• 33:45
Speaker 1: And if we want to unwrap the whole entire thing,
• 33:47
Speaker 1: we have to have all the people that were playing
• 33:49
Speaker 1: key roles come in and speak under oath. And it
• 33:53
Speaker 1: looks like the committee is finally moving that way And
• 33:56
Speaker 1: in my opinion, it's long overdue. Because these are the
• 34:00
Speaker 1: people that were the movers and shakers. These were the
• 34:03
Speaker 1: people that were in the rooms when the deals were
• 34:05
Speaker 1: being made and certainly when the payoffs were happening. So today,
• 34:10
Speaker 1: we have an article from NBC News and the headline,
• 34:13
Speaker 1: House Committee Votes to Issue More Subpoenas Related to Jeffrey Epstein.
• 34:19
Speaker 1: The author of this article, or authors I should say,
• 34:22
Speaker 1: are Fiona Gilson and Dara Gregorian. The House Oversight Committee
• 34:27
Speaker 1: on Wednesday approved more subpoenas related to the late sex
• 34:30
Speaker 1: offender Jeffrey Epstein. The panel voted to subpoena billionaire Les
• 34:36
Speaker 1: Wexner over his ties to Epstein and approved subpoenas for
• 34:39
Speaker 1: the co-executors of Epstein's estate, attorney Darren Indyke and accountant
• 34:44
Speaker 1: Richard Kahn. Long overdue. In my opinion, Richard Kahn and
• 34:49
Speaker 1: Darren Indyke and Les Wexner and Sarah Kellen Vickers and
• 34:53
Speaker 1: Leslie Groff and Adriana Ross and maybe Nadia Marcinkova, depending,
• 34:58
Speaker 1: should all be charged as co-conspirators. You want a RICO case, folks?
• 35:04
Speaker 1: Here it is. I mean, you don't have to be
• 35:06
Speaker 1: fucking Rudy Giuliani in his prime here to understand that
• 35:10
Speaker 1: RICO is the right way to go. And still to
• 35:12
Speaker 1: this day, I haven't heard one single excuse that is
• 35:16
Speaker 1: legitimate defending the position that RICO was not used when
• 35:20
Speaker 1: it comes to Jeffrey Epstein. I mean, when they wrote
• 35:24
Speaker 1: the RICO laws... People like Epstein were the ones they
• 35:27
Speaker 1: had in mind. People that were insulated, people that were powerful,
• 35:31
Speaker 1: and people that were able to avoid the spotlight by
• 35:34
Speaker 1: using intermediaries. But sure, let's just have a narrow charge
• 35:39
Speaker 1: and go after Maxwell herself. Wexner, the former CEO of
• 35:44
Speaker 1: Victoria's Secret, had a lengthy relationship with Epstein, dating to
• 35:48
Speaker 1: the 1980s, and hired him to manage his personal finances.
• 35:52
Speaker 1: A guy with a high school diploma. That's it. No
• 35:56
Speaker 1: fancy lad school. No working on, you know, gigantic projects
• 36:02
Speaker 1: in the financial sector. None of it. So how does
• 36:06
Speaker 1: a guy like that end up in the inner circle
• 36:10
Speaker 1: of a guy like Wes Wexner? And not only that,
• 36:13
Speaker 1: but given the keys to the kingdom? I mean, this
• 36:16
Speaker 1: guy had power of attorney. He had power over the corporations,
• 36:20
Speaker 1: power over the money, you name it. And for what reason?
• 36:25
Speaker 1: Is there any logical reason, especially considering who Les Wexner was?
• 36:30
Speaker 1: He could have went to anybody to get advice. He
• 36:32
Speaker 1: could have hired any advisor. He could have brought on
• 36:35
Speaker 1: any financial expert he wanted. But he chose Jeffrey Epstein.
• 36:39
Speaker 1: So the question is, why? And finally, this dude's going
• 36:43
Speaker 1: to be put under oath. Or at least that's the plan. Remember,
• 36:46
Speaker 1: when we're dealing with people like Les Wexner, they always
• 36:49
Speaker 1: have an out. They always have an escape hatch. And
• 36:52
Speaker 1: they always have a way to beat the system. In
• 36:56
Speaker 1: a 2019 letter to his Wexner Foundation, Wexner said he
• 37:00
Speaker 1: cut ties with Epstein after Epstein was accused of sexually
• 37:03
Speaker 1: abusing minors in Florida. After they parted ways, we discovered
• 37:07
Speaker 1: that he had misappropriated vast sums of money from me
• 37:11
Speaker 1: and my family, Wexner said. I deeply regret having ever
• 37:15
Speaker 1: crossed his path, he added. How come there was never
• 37:18
Speaker 1: an investigation about that money? Oh, that's right. He didn't
• 37:21
Speaker 1: want to give the investigators access to his finances. And
• 37:25
Speaker 1: I've said it once and I'll say it again. I
• 37:27
Speaker 1: don't believe that story from Les Wexner. I don't believe
• 37:29
Speaker 1: that Epstein stole any money from him. I believe that
• 37:33
Speaker 1: that was the poison pill that they had inserted in
• 37:35
Speaker 1: their relationship and Epstein understood that if things ever went
• 37:38
Speaker 1: south that people like Wexner couldn't stand up publicly behind him.
• 37:43
Speaker 1: So they insert this bullshit. A nice little cover story
• 37:45
Speaker 1: for Les Wexner. Oh, I was a victim too. No
• 37:49
Speaker 1: you weren't. You were a victimizer. You played a gigantic
• 37:52
Speaker 1: part and all these women getting abused in my opinion.
• 37:56
Speaker 1: And now it's time to pay the piper. A representative
• 38:00
Speaker 1: for Wexner could not immediately be reached for comment on
• 38:03
Speaker 1: the subpoena. Wexner's name was mentioned in a 2019 email
• 38:08
Speaker 1: about possible co-conspirators that was made public as part of
• 38:11
Speaker 1: the ongoing release of the Epstein files by the Justice Department.
• 38:16
Speaker 1: A representative for Wexner previously told the Columbus Dispatch newspaper
• 38:20
Speaker 1: in Ohio that that prosecutors informed Wexner's attorney at the
• 38:23
Speaker 1: time that he was neither a co-conspirator nor a target
• 38:26
Speaker 1: in any respect to the investigation. And that's the problem
• 38:30
Speaker 1: right there. So what you'll have is people pointing to
• 38:33
Speaker 1: that and saying, look, he wasn't even a target. He
• 38:35
Speaker 1: wasn't even under investigation. What are you even talking about? Hey, stupid,
• 38:40
Speaker 1: that's the issue, okay? The problem is that he was
• 38:43
Speaker 1: never under investigation in the first place. Plenty of circumstantial evidence,
• 38:49
Speaker 1: and in my opinion, more than enough. to open an investigation.
• 38:53
Speaker 1: We've seen them open investigations into people with way less.
• 38:58
Speaker 1: The House Oversight Committee has already received thousands of records
• 39:01
Speaker 1: from the Epstein estate under a congressional subpoena as part
• 39:05
Speaker 1: of its own investigation. It also subpoenaed former President Bill
• 39:09
Speaker 1: Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in addition
• 39:13
Speaker 1: to former Justice Department officials. Daniel Weiner, an attorney for
• 39:17
Speaker 1: the Epstein estate, perfectly named by the way, as well
• 39:20
Speaker 1: as Zindyke and Kahn, said in an email on Wednesday
• 39:23
Speaker 1: evening that the co-executors complied with the previous subpoena to
• 39:27
Speaker 1: provide records and fully intend to continue their cooperation. with
• 39:30
Speaker 1: the committee, including in its efforts to investigate potential government
• 39:34
Speaker 1: wrongdoing regarding Mr. Epstein, and look forward to setting the
• 39:38
Speaker 1: record straight as to their lack of involvement in Mr.
• 39:41
Speaker 1: Epstein's misconduct. Oh, I look forward to it as well.
• 39:47
Speaker 1: Because if we had a committee with any sort of sense,
• 39:50
Speaker 1: with any sort of teeth, they would hit these dudes
• 39:53
Speaker 1: with perjury. Because I'm telling you right now, they're going
• 39:56
Speaker 1: to bullshit. They're going to tell stories. And in my opinion,
• 40:00
Speaker 1: they're going to lie. But the documents are there for
• 40:03
Speaker 1: anyone to see. Just go and take a look at
• 40:05
Speaker 1: what the USVI said about the estate. Just go and
• 40:08
Speaker 1: take a look at what the survivors have said about
• 40:11
Speaker 1: the estate. And how the estate has conducted itself. And
• 40:15
Speaker 1: that's not even going back to the conduct. of Kahn
• 40:18
Speaker 1: and Indyk and what they were up to while Jeffrey
• 40:21
Speaker 1: Epstein was alive and active. He added that Indyk and
• 40:25
Speaker 1: Kahn did not socialize with Mr. Epstein and they have
• 40:28
Speaker 1: always rejected as categorically false any suggestion that they knowingly
• 40:32
Speaker 1: facilitated or assisted Mr. Epstein in his sexual abuse or
• 40:36
Speaker 1: trafficking of women or that they were aware of Mr.
• 40:39
Speaker 1: Epstein's actions while they provided legal and accounting services to Mr. Epstein.
• 40:44
Speaker 1: They think you're stupid. They think you're dumb. That's exactly
• 40:48
Speaker 1: what it means. Does anyone out there who knows this
• 40:50
Speaker 1: story really believe that Indyke and Khan are blameless here?
• 40:55
Speaker 1: Like they did nothing? Like they were just, you know,
• 40:57
Speaker 1: passengers along for the ride? And they went kicking and screaming?
• 41:02
Speaker 1: How rich did Indyke and Khan become? And did Indyke
• 41:05
Speaker 1: stop working for Epstein after the first time around? Did Khan? No,
• 41:09
Speaker 1: of course they didn't. Because in my opinion, they knew
• 41:12
Speaker 1: exactly what was going on. And like everybody else around Epstein,
• 41:17
Speaker 1: They decided to look the other way. And now that
• 41:19
Speaker 1: they're being called out on their bullshit, they want to
• 41:21
Speaker 1: rewrite history. Oh, we had no idea. We weren't involved.
• 41:24
Speaker 1: We weren't there. Yes, you were. And the records prove it.
• 41:30
Speaker 1: The subpoenas approved Wednesday still need to be drawn up,
• 41:33
Speaker 1: typically with a proposed date for testimony, and be signed
• 41:36
Speaker 1: by committee chair James Comer before they can be sent. Well,
• 41:40
Speaker 1: that seems like a project worth getting busy on, huh?
• 41:43
Speaker 1: Because I'll tell you right now, It's been a long
• 41:46
Speaker 1: time coming to get Indyk, Kahn, and Wexner under oath.
• 41:50
Speaker 1: But like usual, I remain cautious and cynical until we
• 41:54
Speaker 1: actually have Wexner, Indyk, and Kahn up there for the depositions.
• 42:00
Speaker 1: Because it's one thing to say you're going to bring
• 42:02
Speaker 1: people in and depose them, and it's a whole ass
• 42:04
Speaker 1: other thing to go through with it. Look at what's
• 42:06
Speaker 1: going on with the Clintons. They've been able to talk
• 42:09
Speaker 1: their way out of the subpoena. They've been able to
• 42:11
Speaker 1: talk their way out of the deposition. And if you
• 42:13
Speaker 1: don't think Les Wexner... and Indyke and Khan are going
• 42:16
Speaker 1: to try and do the same thing, you have not
• 42:19
Speaker 1: been paying attention. But like usual, we'll stay on top
• 42:23
Speaker 1: of it and we'll see where it all goes. But
• 42:25
Speaker 1: until then, that's going to do it for this one.
• 42:27
Speaker 1: All of the information that goes with this episode can
• 42:30
Speaker 1: be found in the description box.
