- 0:01Speaker 1: Hello, friends.
- 0:02Speaker 2: I'm your host, Chris Thrull. I'm a former Royal Marines commando.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I've adventured for better and sometimes worse across 80 countries
- 0:12Speaker 2: on all seven continents. Welcome to the Port Latisha podcast.
- 0:25Speaker 3: John, how are you, sir?
- 0:27Speaker 1: I'm doing well, Chris. How are you, my friend?
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yes, I'm wonderful, wishing there was more time in a day.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I don't know where it goes. Do you think as
- 0:35Speaker 3: you get older, time just flies even faster?
- 0:38Speaker 1: No, there's no doubt about it.
- 0:40Speaker 4: I was talking yesterday, how cliche it is of our
- 0:44Speaker 4: short term time on this planet. And it just goes
- 0:48Speaker 4: by so fast. My daughter's already seven. And I can't
- 0:53Speaker 4: believe I have a 26 year old and a 24
- 0:54Speaker 4: year old and you really do blink your eyes and
- 1:00Speaker 4: a decade has went by, you know, when you're young,
- 1:03Speaker 4: it seems like it's forever, you know, when you're 12
- 1:06Speaker 4: and 14 and you're looking forward to be 16 or 18.
- 1:10Speaker 4: But my God, once you, once you, once you pass
- 1:13Speaker 4: that threshold of 40, it just seems to magnify how
- 1:18Speaker 4: quickly time goes by for us.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely. Are your parents still alive, John?
- 1:25Speaker 4: No, my mother died in March of 2000. My father
- 1:30Speaker 4: had died before then. My stepfather before that. And that's
- 1:34Speaker 4: the other thing, Chris. I'm at that age now. I'm
- 1:38Speaker 4: 59 years old. I'm at that age where people are dying.
- 1:42Speaker 4: And I don't just mean parents, but someone that went
- 1:46Speaker 4: to high school with or elementary school.
- 1:49Speaker 1: You're like, wow, what do you mean she passed away? Because...
- 1:54Speaker 1: you know, they're my age.
- 1:56Speaker 4: And that's, uh, another kind of reality check that this,
- 2:01Speaker 4: this time that we have on this planet, uh, man,
- 2:04Speaker 4: you gotta make the best use of it that you can.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:08Speaker 3: My dad's getting old now. He's kind of, you know,
- 2:11Speaker 3: struggling quite a bit in it, in it. When you're
- 2:13Speaker 3: a father, it brings your own mortality to you. Not
- 2:18Speaker 3: that I'd ever lose sleep over it, but it does
- 2:20Speaker 3: make you, uh, question your sort of life decisions and
- 2:23Speaker 3: looking after your health and this kind of stuff?
- 2:25Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I was asked a question, you know,
- 2:27Speaker 4: my political opponent, he's 80, but he doesn't have children
- 2:32Speaker 4: or grandchildren.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And someone said, well, how is that relevant?
- 2:36Speaker 4: And I said, you know, I'm not being mean or anything,
- 2:39Speaker 4: but I'm 59 years old, I'm getting older. And if
- 2:42Speaker 4: there is a bill that I'm going to vote on, Chris,
- 2:46Speaker 4: The first thing I'm going to think of is like,
- 2:49Speaker 4: how does this impact my seven-year-old? And how does it
- 2:52Speaker 4: impact my girls in their mid-20s? When I'm gone, how
- 2:57Speaker 4: is this really going to impact people that I care about?
- 3:01Speaker 4: You know, it just gives you a sense, I think,
- 3:02Speaker 4: of accountability or responsibility. I don't know what the right
- 3:05Speaker 4: word is, but it weighs on you because that's the
- 3:09Speaker 4: thing that terrifies me. You know, as a parent, you
- 3:13Speaker 4: always want to be here to protect your children and
- 3:16Speaker 4: And as you get older and you, that mortality kicks
- 3:19Speaker 4: in even more, um, and, and the world we're living
- 3:23Speaker 4: in seems to.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Get scarier and scarier in so many ways.
- 3:27Speaker 4: It's, it's kind of fearful to think about leaving my
- 3:30Speaker 4: children behind and what's the world going to look like
- 3:33Speaker 4: for them.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Especially as my, my lad's still very young, you know, and, um,
- 3:41Speaker 3: So we both served in the Marines. You served as
- 3:43Speaker 3: an officer on the legal side of things, and I
- 3:46Speaker 3: was what I guess you call a grunt.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Or a real Marine.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah, well, there you go, you know. Nice flag, by
- 3:56Speaker 3: the way. Do you call it a flag or do
- 3:58Speaker 3: you call it a different name if it's a military flag?
- 4:01Speaker 1: No, it's flag, Marine Corps flag.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I met wonderful U.S. Marines back when I served,
- 4:08Speaker 3: absolutely wonderful. Great, great lads. But on that subject, you know,
- 4:14Speaker 3: what's your position on the old medical procedure, if I
- 4:18Speaker 3: can call it that? Because we're getting Marines now, fit,
- 4:22Speaker 3: healthy guys. And yeah, they're sort of in there, you know,
- 4:25Speaker 3: they've had long careers. Then they're suddenly dropping dead with,
- 4:29Speaker 3: you know, three heart attacks in a row. And no
- 4:33Speaker 3: one wants to sort of, you know, I know you're
- 4:36Speaker 3: never going to know what causes someone's heart attack unless
- 4:39Speaker 3: you're some kind of medical genius but it was mandatory
- 4:43Speaker 3: in this country that they all had to basically had
- 4:46Speaker 3: to have it forced on them a lot of them
- 4:48Speaker 3: didn't want it some of them went underground and they
- 4:51Speaker 3: managed to get the certificate on the black market and
- 4:55Speaker 3: take it into the barracks and say hey look doc
- 4:58Speaker 3: i got it done while i was on leave and
- 4:59Speaker 3: the doc was you know i don't know if they
- 5:01Speaker 3: were more than happy to or whether they were just
- 5:04Speaker 3: naive and sort of signed them off but do you
- 5:07Speaker 3: do you have a Do you have a take on that, John?
- 5:10Speaker 3: Because we talk about a frightening future. I think that's
- 5:16Speaker 3: an elephant in the room.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Listen, I became fascinated in high school with George Orwell's 1984,
- 5:27Speaker 4: and I fought government overreach when I can, when I
- 5:32Speaker 4: sued the SEC on behalf of token holders because of
- 5:37Speaker 4: the government's overreach.
- 5:39Speaker 1: So I'm always going.
- 5:42Speaker 4: To be, you know, sort of have a libertarian streak
- 5:46Speaker 4: in me that the government can't tell.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Me what to do, right? I have to pay taxes.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I get it. I, you know, and I have to
- 5:53Speaker 4: follow certain basic laws. But other than that, I want
- 5:57Speaker 4: you out of my life as much as possible. And
- 6:01Speaker 4: so when the government mandates that you take something you
- 6:08Speaker 4: inject something into your body, I'm going to have a
- 6:13Speaker 4: problem with it.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm going, you know, freedom is very, very delicate.
- 6:19Speaker 4: And when the government says, no, if you don't take this,
- 6:23Speaker 4: you'll get court-martialed. Or if you don't take this, and
- 6:26Speaker 4: you know, obviously when you go in the military, you
- 6:28Speaker 4: obviously give up certain freedoms. And, you know, obviously you
- 6:32Speaker 4: get vaccinated for certain types of, of diseases, polio or
- 6:40Speaker 4: measles or what have you. But every time I hear
- 6:45Speaker 4: anything like federal ban, a federal ban of this or
- 6:48Speaker 4: a federal ban of that, it's going to be a
- 6:50Speaker 4: red flag for me. And when you also give immunity
- 6:57Speaker 4: to the big corporations like big pharma and you say,
- 7:01Speaker 4: we're going to rush this and you're going to be
- 7:05Speaker 4: forever protected. So in case it does kill people, you're
- 7:09Speaker 4: not going to be able to be sued civilly. I'm
- 7:12Speaker 4: really going to have a hesitation and pause in that
- 7:15Speaker 4: because it seems like you're basically giving a license to
- 7:19Speaker 4: a company to rush to the market something that they
- 7:24Speaker 4: really haven't taken the proper measures and control measures.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And so.
- 7:31Speaker 4: I think we haven't seen the end of the fallout.
- 7:34Speaker 4: personally uh as it relates to.
- 7:36Speaker 3: That yes uh well we haven't seen anything have we
- 7:40Speaker 3: we've seen nobody brought to justice not even fauci and
- 7:44Speaker 3: um and i think didn't your president actually give an
- 7:49Speaker 3: award to the chairman of pfizer or something if i
- 7:52Speaker 3: seem to remember rightly.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Yeah no a hundred percent and i mean fauci uh
- 7:59Speaker 4: clearly lied and um You know, it kills me because
- 8:03Speaker 4: sometimes you'll hear people say, you know, Fauci was a
- 8:06Speaker 4: hero and he saved all these lives. And I ask myself,
- 8:12Speaker 4: do you not read the emails? What he's saying privately
- 8:17Speaker 4: versus what he's saying publicly, including under oath before Congress.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It really is. But that's what I mean. Like, we
- 8:25Speaker 1: have to never assume.
- 8:27Speaker 4: I always assume the government is up to no good.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I hate to say that, but that's where I sort
- 8:34Speaker 4: of fall out ideologically, extremely suspect of anything the government does.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Especially when it comes to interfering.
- 8:44Speaker 4: With my or your liberties in life and our ability
- 8:49Speaker 4: to control our lives and how our lives should be directed.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely. So a lot of anti-Israel sentiment at the moment.
- 9:01Speaker 3: seems to be, considering they seem to have everything under
- 9:04Speaker 3: their wraps with their old anti-Semitic moniker or defence mechanism,
- 9:11Speaker 3: it seems all that's gone out the window now and
- 9:13Speaker 3: there's just, especially after the Palestine genocide, it seems people
- 9:21Speaker 3: are out for blood and it seems certain people are
- 9:25Speaker 3: losing control of the narrative. What I want to ask John,
- 9:30Speaker 3: how can I put this like you know what the
- 9:33Speaker 3: hell is going on there um what is going on
- 9:36Speaker 3: i mean when i look at for example 9-11 then
- 9:40Speaker 3: i look at the medical i just call it the
- 9:42Speaker 3: scam i don't give it the the c name because
- 9:45Speaker 3: i don't want to like you know validate something that
- 9:49Speaker 3: was that i know in my soul was just completely
- 9:53Speaker 3: evil um then you you know you look at the
- 9:58Speaker 3: architects of what's going on in the world they do
- 10:01Speaker 3: all seem to belong to a certain network and i'm
- 10:04Speaker 3: not stereotyping everybody every jew that would be fucking stupid
- 10:10Speaker 3: um in the same way as also it's a lot
- 10:13Speaker 3: of people from other ethnicities and faiths that are wrong
- 10:17Speaker 3: what we call wrongans in the uk Um, but what's
- 10:22Speaker 3: going on there? What could you explain for my viewers
- 10:25Speaker 3: at APAC, for example, what, what their power is over
- 10:30Speaker 3: the U S government?
- 10:31Speaker 4: Yeah, listen, APAC, um, you know, if you go back
- 10:35Speaker 4: in time, uh, John F. Kennedy, uh, who was president
- 10:39Speaker 4: of the United States wanted to, um, uh, have APAC
- 10:45Speaker 4: register as a foreign lobbyist. And the, They ended up
- 10:50Speaker 4: getting around it by saying that, well, it's an American
- 10:55Speaker 4: sort of entity. It's American Jews that are interested in
- 10:59Speaker 4: the relationship between the alliance between Israel and the United States.
- 11:07Speaker 4: And you can't deny that, anyone can't deny that APEC
- 11:13Speaker 4: has impacted our elected leaders in an incredible way. for example,
- 11:22Speaker 4: and a lot of people will say it's anti-Semitic. And
- 11:25Speaker 4: let me just say this too, we have to make
- 11:27Speaker 4: a real distinction between criticizing Israel or Benjamin Netanyahu. And
- 11:34Speaker 4: then a lot of people say, if you do that,
- 11:37Speaker 4: you're anti-Semitic. And I reject that. Unfortunately, there is a
- 11:42Speaker 4: rise of anti-Semitism in the United States. And I've talked
- 11:46Speaker 4: to American Jews And they're afraid to wear their kippah
- 11:51Speaker 4: on public transportation because they'll be called murderers and child
- 11:56Speaker 4: baby killers.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And, you know, they're not in control of the Israeli government.
- 12:00Speaker 4: And you don't even know what that that particular Jew
- 12:03Speaker 4: might disagree and want Bibi out.
- 12:06Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 12:07Speaker 4: But and that's unfortunate where you see the the anti-Semitism
- 12:12Speaker 4: on college campuses of of where. people are taking out
- 12:19Speaker 4: on these individuals here in America. And I think it's
- 12:22Speaker 4: important to recognize that. At the same time, you know,
- 12:26Speaker 4: if I say, okay, I'm going to share some facts
- 12:28Speaker 4: with you, and then all of a sudden the Ben
- 12:31Speaker 4: Shapiros of the world will say, well, John's an anti-Semite.
- 12:34Speaker 4: It's like, no, that's not true. I criticize Donald Trump
- 12:38Speaker 4: doesn't make me anti-American. If I criticize Joe Biden doesn't
- 12:42Speaker 4: make me anti-American. I'm as pro-American as you can. But
- 12:46Speaker 4: a lot of times, I was asked this question, John,
- 12:50Speaker 4: are you pro-Israel.
- 12:53Speaker 1: On the campaign?
- 12:53Speaker 4: I said, I'm pro-America. I can't utter that I'm pro.
- 12:57Speaker 4: I don't say I'm pro-Australia, even though I love Australians, right?
- 13:04Speaker 4: I don't say I'm pro-UK or I'm pro-Japan or any
- 13:11Speaker 4: other nation. So I'm just pro-America. And if it's good
- 13:15Speaker 4: for America and good for my country, then I'm going
- 13:18Speaker 4: to support it. If it's an ally of my country and.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It's an ally that helps America, I'll support it.
- 13:24Speaker 4: But you can't deny, no one can deny that it's
- 13:30Speaker 4: a legitimate question that Americans are having, Chris, does Israel
- 13:34Speaker 4: have too much influence on American politics, right? Just that
- 13:39Speaker 4: kind of concept. And There are 35 states that have
- 13:46Speaker 4: anti-laws on the books that say you're not allowed to
- 13:51Speaker 4: divest or boycott Israel. It's a true story that there's
- 13:57Speaker 4: a small town, I wish I could remember the name,
- 13:59Speaker 4: in Texas, and the mayor was looking at the budget
- 14:05Speaker 4: and saw that $ 3 million was going to Israel. And said, okay, well,
- 14:11Speaker 4: that's out because we have to fix the roads in
- 14:14Speaker 4: our town. And got a call from Abbott, the governor,
- 14:20Speaker 4: who said, you can't do that. There's an executive order
- 14:23Speaker 4: that you're not allowed to divest that money from Israel.
- 14:26Speaker 4: If you do that, then you're not going to get
- 14:28Speaker 4: other funding from the state to that town. I mean,
- 14:33Speaker 4: that's going to make people scratch their heads.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Like, what do you mean? We're just trying to fix
- 14:37Speaker 1: our roads, but we're not so.
- 14:39Speaker 4: And APEC has definitely influenced American elected leaders to the
- 14:48Speaker 4: point where I made it clear that I won't take
- 14:54Speaker 4: APEC money, I won't take corporate PAC money. And I said,
- 14:58Speaker 4: the reason I won't do it doesn't make me anti-Semitic.
- 15:01Speaker 4: If I want to say that it's unfair for a
- 15:04Speaker 4: Jewish person to be fearful to take their kippah off
- 15:08Speaker 4: because they're going to get beat up, I'm going to
- 15:11Speaker 4: call that out, and I don't want someone to say, well,
- 15:13Speaker 4: John's on Apex payroll.
- 15:15Speaker 1: That's why he said it.
- 15:16Speaker 4: At the same time, if I want to say I
- 15:19Speaker 4: got serious questions for Benjamin Netanyahu and the way that
- 15:25Speaker 4: he has allowed Qatar to fund Hamas, knowing that Hamas
- 15:30Speaker 4: was not building hospitals and not building bridges and not
- 15:34Speaker 4: building schools, but was building underground tunnels and and weapons
- 15:40Speaker 4: depots and you were allowing it to go to happen
- 15:44Speaker 4: because you said you could control the flame, the size
- 15:48Speaker 4: of the flame. Well, I got some serious questions. You,
- 15:50Speaker 4: you got some, you need to come and answer these questions.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Don't call me anti-Semitic and don't be disappointed that I'm
- 15:58Speaker 4: calling it the way I see it because I accepted
- 16:01Speaker 4: a donation. So I don't accept those kinds of donations,
- 16:04Speaker 4: but you know, um, uh, when you have 35 states
- 16:09Speaker 4: that have anti, that you can't criticize or boycott Israel,
- 16:15Speaker 4: I mean, there's a problem. And it's okay to acknowledge that, okay,
- 16:19Speaker 4: maybe there's too much influence here. And so it's a
- 16:23Speaker 4: real thing now. And I think because of these things, there.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Is certainly a growing and growing.
- 16:33Speaker 4: anti-Israel narrative in the country because people are are saying, yes,
- 16:38Speaker 4: I believe there's too much influence. And when Marco Rubio says, well,
- 16:44Speaker 4: we went into Iran because Israel was going to do
- 16:48Speaker 4: it regardless of what we said, and we needed to
- 16:51Speaker 4: do a preemptive strike to protect our own assets in
- 16:55Speaker 4: the region or our own.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Soldiers, I mean, it's a legitimate question to ask. And unfortunately,
- 17:01Speaker 1: in these days, if you say that, then you're an anti-Semite.
- 17:05Speaker 1: If you.
- 17:07Speaker 1: So I don't know if I answered your question, Chris.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Yeah, no, you've done well, brother. Thank you. Do you think,
- 17:15Speaker 3: you see, it's kind of crazy. This is not a question.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I'll just throw this out there. But Netanyahu is doing
- 17:21Speaker 3: the speech in the UN the other day. I think
- 17:24Speaker 3: it was the UN and like half the audience just
- 17:26Speaker 3: immediately got up and walked out. But if he does
- 17:29Speaker 3: the same, you know, speech to, is it to the
- 17:32Speaker 3: US Senate, then. then like everyone stands up and gives
- 17:36Speaker 3: him like 14 standing ovations in the middle of a genocide.
- 17:41Speaker 3: It's like, we've all got a bit of work to
- 17:42Speaker 3: do here, haven't we?
- 17:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah. There, there, there's, there's no doubt about it.
- 17:47Speaker 4: I mean, the, and the, the, um, the real issue too,
- 17:52Speaker 4: is that there's all this, this talk about the G word, right? Every,
- 17:59Speaker 4: everybody gets fixated, um, Is it a genocide? Oh, it's
- 18:03Speaker 4: not a genocide. It's not a genocide because you can't
- 18:07Speaker 4: prove specific intent. And a lot of the human cost
- 18:12Speaker 4: is lost in all of this debate over a word
- 18:18Speaker 4: that people are having. You can look at the pictures
- 18:23Speaker 4: and you just see a complete leveling of every school,
- 18:27Speaker 4: every church, every synagogue. I mean, everything is just demolished.
- 18:33Speaker 4: And I just think sometimes people spend so much time
- 18:40Speaker 4: arguing over syntax, right, that they lose the human cost
- 18:46Speaker 4: and the accountability. We have to ask ourselves, you know,
- 18:52Speaker 4: what are we doing? And maybe we should stop arguing
- 18:56Speaker 4: semantics sometimes. look at the reality of the situation and ask,
- 19:02Speaker 4: how did we get here? How did this happen? Allow
- 19:06Speaker 4: it to happen. And you're right. I mean, there are
- 19:11Speaker 4: legitimate questions. You know, I've had Jewish people that I've
- 19:14Speaker 4: talked to that support me. And I say, listen, I
- 19:19Speaker 4: will call out you not being able to wear your
- 19:23Speaker 4: kippah or the Star of David. and that you're fearful.
- 19:28Speaker 4: But at the same time, I will extremely be critical
- 19:33Speaker 4: of Bibi. And, you know, if that means that you're
- 19:37Speaker 4: going to lose support of me, then, you know, I
- 19:39Speaker 4: want you to know that up front. And most American
- 19:42Speaker 4: Jews that I've talked to understand that most of them
- 19:47Speaker 4: also want a reset. They they want bb out right
- 19:50Speaker 4: because almost as though we have to move forward and
- 19:53Speaker 4: and with netanyahu as the prime minister um it's never going.
- 19:59Speaker 3: To happen yes do you think there's a a subplot
- 20:03Speaker 3: here john because i've been looking at this a lot
- 20:05Speaker 3: lately on my channel where His behavior is nothing short
- 20:09Speaker 3: of just being an absolute maniac. But perhaps that's the point.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Is he trying to push, for example, for World War
- 20:16Speaker 3: Three so that the people outside that probably control the
- 20:20Speaker 3: whole goddamn show can reconstruct with the digital prisons that
- 20:26Speaker 3: we're all living in fear of and the 15 minute
- 20:28Speaker 3: cities and the, you know, social credit system, digital ID,
- 20:33Speaker 3: which is they've tried to bring this in the into
- 20:37Speaker 3: the uk and people fortunately push back enough for them
- 20:40Speaker 3: to to put it on hold for the time being
- 20:43Speaker 3: but do you think we could all be in play
- 20:44Speaker 3: that they're looking for an all-out demolition they want all
- 20:48Speaker 3: the alpha males to stand up and go off to
- 20:52Speaker 3: war as they always naively and gullibly do thinking that
- 20:56Speaker 3: they're you know it's for king and country or president
- 20:59Speaker 3: and country um is is that something that we're all
- 21:03Speaker 3: missing possibly Well, we shouldn't.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Miss, you know, I don't know if it's on that
- 21:08Speaker 4: grand scale, but let's know what we can prove. And
- 21:12Speaker 4: what we can prove is just listening to Benjamin Netanyahu's words.
- 21:18Speaker 1: And his words.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Have been, you know, that he's asked every president to
- 21:23Speaker 4: take out Iran.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Completely. And they haven't.
- 21:29Speaker 4: And when President Trump agreed to bomb Iran... Benjamin Netanyahu
- 21:36Speaker 4: said that he's waited for this moment for 40 years
- 21:40Speaker 4: um and and so clearly and you talk if you
- 21:45Speaker 4: see Mike Huckabee talk who's the ambassador of Israel he
- 21:50Speaker 4: talks about Israel expanding the entire region of that world
- 21:56Speaker 4: you know and expanding its territory and so You know,
- 22:01Speaker 4: I don't know if it's a World War III thing,
- 22:03Speaker 4: but there's no doubt that Benjamin Netanyahu would like to
- 22:08Speaker 4: control the entire region of that world and grow Israel.
- 22:16Speaker 1: And do it by force. And that alone is enough
- 22:20Speaker 1: for me to say stop. Yes.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Moving on to Venezuela and Greenland, isn't it? My God,
- 22:29Speaker 3: they were kicked into touch pretty quickly. So Friends at Home,
- 22:34Speaker 3: what I'm getting at is this strategic move to add
- 22:39Speaker 3: security to these countries or oust dictators or whatever the
- 22:44Speaker 3: cover story is. John, is that not blatantly just a
- 22:48Speaker 3: grab for resources in view of the fact that these
- 22:53Speaker 3: AI centers, which are cropping up everywhere, if I understand correctly...
- 22:57Speaker 3: that take enormous fueling. So if there's one in a state,
- 23:03Speaker 3: apparently it uses a third of the fuel in the
- 23:06Speaker 3: state just for the AI database. Do you think that's
- 23:12Speaker 3: what we're seeing in reality, is that there's precious resources
- 23:16Speaker 3: on the planet? In fact, this is a good book
- 23:19Speaker 3: that I think everyone should read. That's the history there
- 23:23Speaker 3: on the timeline of the industrial revolution this is uh
- 23:29Speaker 3: uh oh sorry that's the beginning of the industrial revolution
- 23:33Speaker 3: and this is kind of the blip in the uh
- 23:36Speaker 3: exploitation of global resources so this book alleges is coming
- 23:41Speaker 3: to an end that there just isn't it's not that
- 23:44Speaker 3: there isn't more resources in the planet It's just that
- 23:47Speaker 3: it takes so much money and manpower to get it
- 23:51Speaker 3: out the ground in these awkward places that everyone's just
- 23:55Speaker 3: going for the quick grab now. Does that sound feasible?
- 23:58Speaker 4: Yeah, and well, when you take into consideration that China
- 24:04Speaker 4: controls 90% of the Earth's rare minerals currently, that there
- 24:11Speaker 4: is going to be a land grab.
- 24:14Speaker 1: For as many.
- 24:15Speaker 4: So Venezuela has one of the highest gold reserves.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It has other rare earth.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Minerals for the batteries and for cobalt and all of
- 24:27Speaker 4: these things. And so does Cuba, even though it's small
- 24:33Speaker 4: on its scale. And of course, Venezuela produced all the
- 24:37Speaker 4: oil for Cuba. So when the United States... took out
- 24:42Speaker 4: the president of Venezuela, it was a two for one
- 24:46Speaker 4: because it's really also eyeing Cuba as well, which is
- 24:51Speaker 4: 90 miles off the Florida coast. And obviously you have
- 24:56Speaker 4: Greenland and the fact that it has rare minerals.
- 25:01Speaker 1: And so you're right.
- 25:02Speaker 4: This is a race for the AI race and the
- 25:07Speaker 4: data center race and being able to confiscate or control,
- 25:13Speaker 4: whatever adjective we want to use, the resources needed to
- 25:18Speaker 4: sort of win that race. What we're witnessing is, you know,
- 25:21Speaker 4: is similar to the Soviet Union and the United States
- 25:26Speaker 4: and the nuclear arms race, except it's the AI race.
- 25:32Speaker 4: And the theory is, you know, that the the nation
- 25:36Speaker 4: that first achieves ASI, artificial super intelligence, which would basically
- 25:44Speaker 4: mean computer software that is smarter than all humans combined,
- 25:51Speaker 4: that you're going to be able to win that race
- 25:55Speaker 4: and be the only true superpower.
- 25:58Speaker 1: And so.
- 26:00Speaker 4: I think that's what we're witnessing play out. And when
- 26:04Speaker 4: you do think about artificial superintelligence, and you think about
- 26:11Speaker 4: all the technology, we really are living in the surveillance
- 26:16Speaker 4: state of the world. You know, every day we are
- 26:19Speaker 4: losing more and more of our liberties. We're being tracked more.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Our data is being aggregated more. And scary times, man.
- 26:31Speaker 4: It's big brothers watching, literally watching.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Absolutely. And that's the other thing we're going to talk about,
- 26:37Speaker 3: isn't it? They're watching through flock cameras, as you guys
- 26:41Speaker 3: call them stateside. We call them ANPR cameras, automatic number
- 26:48Speaker 3: plate recognition. And they're kind of everywhere. You know, you
- 26:51Speaker 3: go and leave your car in a parking lot outside
- 26:55Speaker 3: a supermarket and you want to go and do something else.
- 26:58Speaker 3: You drive out, you know, three hours later, not thinking anything.
- 27:02Speaker 3: The next thing you know, you've got a You know,
- 27:04Speaker 3: you've got the parking people after you for money. But
- 27:08Speaker 3: it gets more. We're getting cameras now that look into
- 27:12Speaker 3: your car to see if you're on the phone or
- 27:14Speaker 3: you're eating. I don't even think eating was something you
- 27:17Speaker 3: weren't allowed to do when you're driving. And you've got
- 27:23Speaker 3: a situation over there where, is it police officers have
- 27:26Speaker 3: been using this system to check up on their ex-girlfriends
- 27:30Speaker 3: or ex-wives? to see if they're seeing a new guy
- 27:35Speaker 3: or what they're doing with the children or this sort
- 27:38Speaker 3: of thing. What do we think about this?
- 27:40Speaker 4: Yeah, listen, Flock cameras are all over the place. Flock
- 27:44Speaker 4: is a private company. And on its surface, we could say, okay, well,
- 27:51Speaker 4: it's a license plate reader and it will really help
- 27:55Speaker 4: us find the stolen cars. More importantly, an Amber Alert,
- 28:00Speaker 4: that's what we call them here in America, where a
- 28:03Speaker 4: child is kidnapped and taken. There's immediate Amber Alerts. Your
- 28:08Speaker 4: phone will receive an Amber Alert. Digital messages out there
- 28:14Speaker 4: on the highways will do it. And obviously, we could
- 28:18Speaker 4: find that child faster by using these flock cameras that
- 28:25Speaker 4: are All over small towns have contracts with this company.
- 28:30Speaker 4: The problem is, is that, you know, there goes the
- 28:33Speaker 4: Fourth Amendment search and seizure where you need to get
- 28:37Speaker 4: a warrant by a judge that you have probable cause
- 28:40Speaker 4: because they can track you and they can track you
- 28:43Speaker 4: every movement because it's integrated. It's a network of cameras.
- 28:49Speaker 4: And it's connected to other States, even this, this network.
- 28:53Speaker 4: And so imagine sort of like a blockchain distributed.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Ledger all across the world.
- 29:00Speaker 4: Now imagine that visually with the, with cameras and you
- 29:04Speaker 4: can see, uh, you're going to the doctor, you're going
- 29:07Speaker 4: to the grocery store, or you're going to see your
- 29:10Speaker 4: mistress and you're married to a cop who now is
- 29:13Speaker 4: basically tracking your movement.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Where you go.
- 29:17Speaker 4: And so, um, Now you add, Chris, artificial intelligence, facial recognition,
- 29:24Speaker 4: and you integrate all of this, and Big Brother is
- 29:28Speaker 4: literally watching you. And this private company has your data,
- 29:33Speaker 4: and they have the cloud infrastructure. And how long do
- 29:38Speaker 4: they keep that data?
- 29:39Speaker 1: Does it... exist forever.
- 29:41Speaker 4: In the cloud and and you know you you're you're
- 29:44Speaker 4: a law-abiding citizen and now your entire movements are being
- 29:48Speaker 4: tracked that is the very essence of what orwell wrote
- 29:52Speaker 4: when he said big brother is watching and so um
- 29:56Speaker 4: it is a huge issue in the united states some
- 29:59Speaker 4: Here in Massachusetts, a couple of the towns have paused
- 30:03Speaker 4: or terminated their flock contracts with this company.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Other people are saying, well, we should keep this.
- 30:13Speaker 4: We just have to regulate it properly by making sure
- 30:17Speaker 4: that you have to erase or delete the data every
- 30:22Speaker 4: week or.
- 30:23Speaker 1: 14 days or whatever. So it can't be searched.
- 30:28Speaker 4: And if anyone does go into the database and search it,
- 30:31Speaker 4: they have to document why they're searching it, their name
- 30:34Speaker 4: and all of this and be audited.
- 30:36Speaker 1: So it's going to be a huge topic.
- 30:40Speaker 4: What we're talking about today, data centers, flock cameras, probably
- 30:43Speaker 4: the two biggest topics right now in America.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:48Speaker 3: And you mentioned some things like, you know, going to
- 30:51Speaker 3: the doctors or leaving work early or whatever. But I mean,
- 30:55Speaker 3: it could also be you go into a protest.
- 30:58Speaker 1: There you go.
- 30:59Speaker 3: It could be you going to see a group of
- 31:03Speaker 3: individuals that are against gun ownership being taken away from them.
- 31:08Speaker 3: And with the track record over all this medical nonsense
- 31:12Speaker 3: where checks were supposed to be in place that clearly
- 31:15Speaker 3: would just walk roughshod over. Not that personally for people watching,
- 31:20Speaker 3: I believe in any of that toxic poison, but it's...
- 31:25Speaker 3: You know, I envisage this scenario where you go to
- 31:30Speaker 3: the store, as you guys call it, to purchase something,
- 31:35Speaker 3: and you get out your card or you flash them
- 31:37Speaker 3: your chip, and they're like, sorry, Mr Thrall, it's saying
- 31:40Speaker 3: here that you were at a protest three weeks ago.
- 31:45Speaker 3: You know, some... gun gun rally uh your your credit's
- 31:49Speaker 3: been suspended for not that the girl at the shop
- 31:52Speaker 3: is going to tell you this but you know your
- 31:54Speaker 3: credit's been suspended for a for a month i mean
- 31:58Speaker 3: this just the thought people took that poison just but
- 32:03Speaker 3: just so they could go on holiday they could have
- 32:05Speaker 3: two weeks in spain what are they.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Gonna you had to go to in order to go
- 32:10Speaker 1: to school Yeah. In order to finish your degree in order.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I and I got to tell you, I.
- 32:18Speaker 4: I made a post that said, you know, I'm an
- 32:21Speaker 4: employer and a lot of people, you know, a small
- 32:25Speaker 4: law firm and a lot of people are like there
- 32:28Speaker 4: was a push that if someone refused the vaccine, that
- 32:32Speaker 4: you should fire them. And I was like, who am
- 32:36Speaker 4: I to tell another human being? that they have to
- 32:39Speaker 4: inject something in their body. And I'm going to fire them.
- 32:43Speaker 4: I'm going to prevent them from being able to pay
- 32:46Speaker 4: their mortgage and prevent them their livelihood because.
- 32:51Speaker 1: They choose what goes in their body.
- 32:54Speaker 4: To me, when you think about these mandates from the government,
- 32:58Speaker 4: you think about these flock cameras, you think about a
- 33:01Speaker 4: central bank digital currency and no more cash and they
- 33:05Speaker 4: control everything. programmable money where, Hey, you donate it, Chris,
- 33:11Speaker 4: you donate it to that one organization.
- 33:13Speaker 1: That's an extreme organization.
- 33:16Speaker 4: You're an extremist that you're pushing hate crime and, and
- 33:20Speaker 4: hate speech. So therefore your money doesn't work in that
- 33:25Speaker 4: area or, you know, they just turn off.
- 33:28Speaker 1: It is, it's a scary thought.
- 33:30Speaker 4: It's a scary thought that, um, Um, and then you
- 33:33Speaker 4: just add all this AI and facial recognition and digital
- 33:38Speaker 4: imprint and how our data is being sold from one
- 33:41Speaker 4: company to another company.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Um, so I said, we're living in scary times, man.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Yeah. John, I'm aware of your precious time. One last
- 33:51Speaker 3: thing I just wanted to cover. Um, And is it
- 33:55Speaker 3: AJ is the guy that puts us in touch?
- 33:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Yeah, just AJ, big, big thank you to you, sir.
- 34:03Speaker 3: He mentioned this. It's this... This is where it's like,
- 34:07Speaker 3: as a parent, it gets so close to home. It's
- 34:10Speaker 3: these Catholic parents... in massachusetts uh that says the state
- 34:16Speaker 3: took custody of their teenage daughter after they refused to
- 34:23Speaker 3: affirm her as a boy uh and if i understand
- 34:28Speaker 3: correctly i guess the the uh sorry just to continue
- 34:33Speaker 3: folks a judge has temporarily blocked the state from administering
- 34:39Speaker 3: high dose testosterone testosterone as the family fights the case.
- 34:44Speaker 3: This is alarming, just not least because I'm 57 now. John,
- 34:52Speaker 3: I can't be trusted to make decisions for my own life.
- 34:55Speaker 3: I'm just not mature enough yet. I still do really
- 34:59Speaker 3: stupid things on a whim. How the hell are you
- 35:02Speaker 3: expecting a child... OK, teenager, but under the law, still
- 35:08Speaker 3: a child to understand where they sit from a perspective
- 35:13Speaker 3: of gender or sexuality. It's, you know, my son still
- 35:21Speaker 3: he can throw his toys out the pram if you
- 35:24Speaker 3: don't buy him a, you know, a bloody the latest
- 35:28Speaker 3: squeezy toy. gorilla it is at the moment, these squeezy gorillas.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean? That's kind of the
- 35:35Speaker 3: level of where he's at.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Wow.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Over to you. The word you're looking for is insane.
- 35:45Speaker 1: It's insane.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Just so people have context, this Catholic family, they have
- 35:53Speaker 4: a son and they had a daughter.
- 35:55Speaker 1: The son is the oldest. The daughter was at the
- 35:57Speaker 1: time 15 years.
- 35:59Speaker 4: And the daughter was staying home, coming home late from school.
- 36:06Speaker 4: The parents inquired and the counselor said, oh, we're just
- 36:10Speaker 4: doing tutoring for math and things of that nature. Well,
- 36:14Speaker 4: the counselor was helping the girl transition into a boy
- 36:19Speaker 4: without the parent's knowledge, without the parent's consent. And ultimately,
- 36:24Speaker 4: when the biological daughter said, I am now a boy,
- 36:30Speaker 4: and I go by he and him pronouns, and, you know,
- 36:36Speaker 4: my name is different, and you're now, you have a
- 36:38Speaker 4: second son, and the Catholic family was like, no, that's
- 36:45Speaker 4: not how it is, and ultimately, the state gets involved.
- 36:50Speaker 4: There was an allegation of physical abuse that got denied
- 36:55Speaker 4: by the judge, but the judge did allow the state
- 37:00Speaker 4: Department of Child Services to take custody over the parents.
- 37:05Speaker 4: And then the state of Massachusetts, the Department of Family Services,
- 37:12Speaker 4: say they want to pump high doses of testosterone.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Into this girl, who is obviously a minor. And of course,
- 37:20Speaker 1: the judge.
- 37:22Speaker 4: basically said, we're going to keep the status quo right
- 37:25Speaker 4: now and denied it.
- 37:26Speaker 1: They have a hearing next month to determine whether or
- 37:29Speaker 1: not the state can basically inject testosterone.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Levels to this girl, you know, causing irreversible issues. And so, again,
- 37:42Speaker 4: it is scary times. These parents were denied even an
- 37:47Speaker 4: opportunity to seek counseling for their child, to handle it
- 37:53Speaker 4: and say, okay, you're confused. Let's get some professional treatment
- 37:58Speaker 4: and talk. The kid was just yanked out of their
- 38:03Speaker 4: lives and they haven't seen their daughter in two years.
- 38:08Speaker 4: It's frightening as a parent.
- 38:11Speaker 1: It is outrageous.
- 38:13Speaker 4: It angers me and it would anger any parent to
- 38:17Speaker 4: think of the assault on parental rights that's going on
- 38:21Speaker 4: in this country, in addition to the assault of our
- 38:24Speaker 4: civil liberties, in addition to the assault of our surveillance,
- 38:27Speaker 4: our privacy, all these things. It's why I said to you, Chris,
- 38:32Speaker 4: the thought of leaving my children behind as I get
- 38:35Speaker 4: older and face my own mortality, I'm someone who's always
- 38:41Speaker 4: lived a life of no fear, never give up. And
- 38:44Speaker 4: I'm scared shitless, man. I'm not afraid or too proud
- 38:50Speaker 4: to admit it. I'm scared of leaving my children behind
- 38:52Speaker 4: and what this world's going to look like if we
- 38:56Speaker 4: continue down the paths that we're continuing down.
- 38:59Speaker 3: John, I didn't ask you about your campaign. Is this
- 39:03Speaker 3: like an... Obviously, it's been ongoing because you've been on...
- 39:06Speaker 3: This is your second appearance on the show. Is there
- 39:10Speaker 3: an end goal in sight or is this just ongoing until.
- 39:14Speaker 1: No, there.
- 39:15Speaker 4: The election is November 3rd. I ran a second time
- 39:20Speaker 4: because I thought there was, you know, it's an uphill
- 39:23Speaker 4: path in Massachusetts. Massachusetts is very blue, hasn't elected a Republican.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Senator in many, many, many years.
- 39:33Speaker 4: But I felt compelled to try it one more time
- 39:38Speaker 4: because this fellow that I'm going against, he's 80, he's
- 39:40Speaker 4: been there 53 years. He's extremely far left, as far
- 39:47Speaker 4: left as you can go And I figure that if,
- 39:50Speaker 4: if there is a chance, uh, this is the year
- 39:53Speaker 4: to do it. Um, we'll see if, if I lose
- 39:57Speaker 4: this election, um, um, then I probably, I don't foresee
- 40:02Speaker 4: running again. Uh, I sort of gave my chance to
- 40:06Speaker 4: bring common sense to Washington, uh, and whether I'm the
- 40:11Speaker 4: right guy in the wrong state or the wrong guy,
- 40:14Speaker 4: I don't know, but, um, I'll be able to say
- 40:17Speaker 4: to my daughters that, listen, I tried to make a difference,
- 40:21Speaker 4: not just in my life and their life, but bring
- 40:24Speaker 4: some kind of common sense to Washington because God knows
- 40:29Speaker 4: they've lost it. I mean, our founders would have never envisioned, Chris,
- 40:33Speaker 4: that you would go to Washington for 50 years. I mean,
- 40:37Speaker 4: this guy's been in office longer than 20% of our
- 40:41Speaker 4: entire country's existence. That's just, insane to me but if
- 40:45Speaker 4: the voters vote them in again then you know the
- 40:48Speaker 4: voters you know they get to choose and that's okay
- 40:51Speaker 4: but at least i'll be able to say uh i
- 40:54Speaker 4: tried everything i could um to make a difference not
- 40:57Speaker 4: just in my life but in other people's lives and
- 40:59Speaker 4: and i'll be able to live with the.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Result yes and let's not forget john you have made
- 41:04Speaker 3: a difference i think just having open conversations like this
- 41:09Speaker 3: allows other people to see oh you're allowed to discuss
- 41:12Speaker 3: this and that stuff now are you you know because
- 41:14Speaker 3: um i can even see it in my comment section
- 41:16Speaker 3: people are coming out but sometimes it's not very particularly
- 41:19Speaker 3: pleasant but at least people feel that they can express
- 41:23Speaker 3: their opinion now and with a you know element of
- 41:26Speaker 3: sort of safety um so thank you so much you
- 41:30Speaker 3: know for for for being so transparent.
- 41:33Speaker 4: No, thank you for having me. I'm sure we'll see
- 41:37Speaker 4: each other again. Look forward to it. Always a pleasure
- 41:40Speaker 4: to talk to you and hope everybody has a great
- 41:43Speaker 4: day today. Yes.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Thank you, John. I'm just going to play us out.
- 41:46Speaker 3: So if you need to go, please don't hang around.
- 41:50Speaker 3: If on the other hand, I can thank you properly
- 41:53Speaker 3: after I play us out, then stay on the line.
- 41:55Speaker 3: But thanks again, John. Everybody at home, please support the podcast, folks.
- 42:01Speaker 3: You can see we're trying our best here to get
- 42:08Speaker 3: the message out. And I'm a one-man band. Oh, there
- 42:14Speaker 3: we go. I'm a one-man band. So please, all over
- 42:19Speaker 3: the screen, please give us a subscribe, folks. And I'll
- 42:25Speaker 3: see you next time.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Much love.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Thank you.
