- 0:00You know, I just had this moment I'd like to share with you when
- 0:02I realized that I was indeed a thousand years old. I was interviewing a
- 0:06couple. It's I DJ Weddings, and I'll talk to the couples beforehand about
- 0:09what music they like, what do they want to hear? And it was
- 0:12when they requested lots of throwbacks, Amanda, they want to hear some classic
- 0:16stuff. Oh like Marvin Gaye. Yeah, like woh ac DC, I
- 0:20got cha time, like Elvis, like really just like old school. Yeah
- 0:24no, they said no, no, more like uh, you know,
- 0:27like old like Black Eyed Peas and that kind of And I was just like
- 0:30classic, what are you kidding? It's good and it's just like it's one
- 0:35of those things where then you'll let you know, classic rock is like,
- 0:39you know, I love Blank Wanity too, but now they're getting thrown in
- 0:41there with like classic rock, you know, old stuff like Green Day.
- 0:45It's like, oh yeah, my heart right now. So what was the
- 0:49moment for you that you realize that you're you're getting older? Seven oh one
- 0:52two eight oh one ninety eight seven would love to hear you call, text,
- 0:56or you can comment on our Facebook page. You ever had a moment
- 0:58like that, Amanda. So Instagram does this to us ladies all the time
- 1:02when we're going through reels just NonStop. There was one yesterday that said the
- 1:06moment you walk into Target right now and you realize that you're walking into the
- 1:11nineteen ninety five catalog of Delilah's You don't probably remember Delilah Magazine, but it
- 1:15was like a clothing thing, like fashion Bug all this stuff. I'm like,
- 1:19oh my gosh, and now it's all coming back and you realize,
- 1:23oh, I wore that, you know, when I was little. And
- 1:25then you're like, that was all the way back in nineteen ninety five,
- 1:27you know. I mean they hit me last year when I twenty year class
- 1:30reunion, I feel like I graduated high school five minutes ago, I know.
- 1:34And that's the thing when you start to realize, because for so long
- 1:37out of high school, you still have like connections to the people at the
- 1:40school, you know, like whether it's like your friend's siblings or just people
- 1:42you knew teachers, And now it's like, don't know, anybody couldn't draw
- 1:46a single connection to anybody at Dillwarth gwyn Feld High School. Yeah, oh
- 1:49man, Well, now DGF must be getting too big, because it is
- 1:52nice. When you go back to witting a deer Creek, You're like,
- 1:53oh, yeah, these are familiar. I know the kids well, yes,
- 1:56your parents, yeah, yeah, you know they're names. People were
- 1:59sharing well on our big ninety point seven Facebook page. One person said,
- 2:02when you realize how far you have to scroll down to find your birth year
- 2:06on an online form. Just did that the other day, it's a come
- 2:08on, out, come on. Can I just type it in? Please
- 2:10put it in eighty five? Otherwise I'm going years back. When you're excited
- 2:15about kitchen gadgets, when you realize you're old, I don't know, I
- 2:17feel like a yeah, I feel like that's been a while now where I
- 2:20get real thrill. I mean just a good like a good kitchen aid mixer.
- 2:23Yeah, we're opening. One of the things that really trips my trigger.
- 2:27If I open the fridge and it's full of just like fresh vegetables and
- 2:30different things, I'm like, ah, I'm such a like it's just it's
- 2:34joyful. Oh yeah, I'd love to keep a clean fridge. Nothing expired
- 2:38in the door. That's when you realize when when the door of your fridge
- 2:40doesn't consist of just grossly expired ketchup that are you actually have food in it
- 2:45and it's not just a ripped open case of bush light. Classic when you
- 2:51realize you're old, you start realizing you'd rather just stay home than going out
- 2:53to parties. Wow, it does sound exhausting having another God, this is
- 2:57wild Pike, because remember a month ago I was compled. I mean,
- 3:00how I haven't done a girl's weekend and forever? Yeah, doing a girl's
- 3:01weekend. Not this weekend, but next. Wake out where were you going?
- 3:06We're going to Minneapolis? Oh god, look out Minneapolis. Well again,
- 3:09We're texting and one of the girls is flying in for it, and
- 3:13I'm like, okay, well, I just want to gear up, so
- 3:15I'm bringing like a case of water, getting like hotel room snacks, doing
- 3:20all that, and she goes, yeah, she goes, I have been
- 3:22practicing for a girls weekend. I've been having like a truly a day,
- 3:24and I'm just cracking up because this is building up yours where we're at.
- 3:30And then she said, the other day I had three truly is and I
- 3:32was just so hungover. And we were talking about the fact that we have
- 3:36to be in bed before ten, because that's when we feel bad if we
- 3:38don't get enough sleep. I mean, what imagine when you were twenty one,
- 3:44Imagine that thought going through your head preparing having water in the hotel?
- 3:49I mean, is it really a party if you don't wake up in the
- 3:51middle of the night like dry as a desert and you have to go suck
- 3:53water out of the the hotel sink. Even worse, if we were to
- 3:57go out, I'd be like, oh my gosh, aren't there. How
- 4:00were you wearing those heels? Girlfriends, you need a wedge? Or even
- 4:02like can you bundle up money? It's winter? Yeah right, oh yeah,
- 4:06the big one. I was gonna bring this up, you know,
- 4:08being a big sports guy, big football guy, grew up always being like
- 4:12the young one. If I was in the NFL, and I always imagine
- 4:15myself being in the NFL, you know, I would be like one of
- 4:16the young people. And now you realize everybody in the NFL is younger than
- 4:19you. This is how I feel when I watch and I kind of stop
- 4:23watching The Bachelorette. That's why I'm such a fan of The Golden Bachelor.
- 4:26Makes me feel young because you're watching some of these girls that's not my speed
- 4:30out of a limo and trying to find let them like, oh girl,
- 4:32you're twenty two. You have no idea you know doing it? Yeah,
- 4:36that's another one. As soon as you start hearing noises when you get up
- 4:39from your knees, that's it. Oh yeah, walk up the stairs and
- 4:42it's like listening to a rice crispies when you put milk in it, and
- 4:46anybody even know what rice crispies are besides entreats. These days, I don't
- 4:50know. I feel like cereal is a young man's game. I don't know.
- 4:53I'm out of there. You get to an age where you're like,
- 4:56that wasn't really even that good for you, you know, especially the can
- 4:59the cereals. You were easy. My kids wanted lucky charms. One day,
- 5:01I'm like, are you kiddy? How about I just scooped some sugar
- 5:04into a bowl and you can lick that up? Well? What about you?
- 5:06What was the moment you realize you're getting old? Seven one one ninety
- 5:10eight seven? Good morning? Who's this? This is lazy? I felt
- 5:13when I was getting old. Was when my kids had a birthday party and
- 5:16I brought out the air popper and they were like, what's that? Oh
- 5:20for popcorn? And I go, you don't know what this is. This
- 5:25is my favorite graduation gift. When I grew up, they had that back
- 5:28the old air it. Yeah, they go, do you have that back
- 5:32then? Back then? And I looked down at them, I was like,
- 5:36back in the day, yeah, you had to have like you just
- 5:40had a thing of kernels, right and you just put it in there.
- 5:42Oh my gosh. And then now it's when I go through stuff with school
- 5:46with them, it's was that back in the nineteen hundreds, like when you
- 5:48were born the nineteen hundreds? That hit oof yep, that one hurts.
- 5:55Thanks for calling lazy. How's your back feeling today? By the way,
- 5:57have you done your stretches yet? Made a chiropracture appointment for Friday in the
- 6:02morning, Big Natty eight point seven. You know who's something is Boeing,
- 6:06the airplane manufacturer, you know, and they kind of got a stronghold on
- 6:10the airplane industry. But things have not been going well. All of these
- 6:12stories you've heard about the doors flying off the airplane or opening in the middle
- 6:16of a flights opening, like is nobody did they hit like they're you know
- 6:20how And I may be wrong here, but you know when you get a
- 6:24cell phone, Oh yeah, it's like all of a sudden at that two
- 6:28year mark, after you've paid it off, everything slowly, your charger doesn't
- 6:31work. Everything just starts slowly not or your battery dies in ten minutes exactly,
- 6:36so you need a new one. Have we hit the warranty on bowing?
- 6:40That's an interesting point because you know a lot of airplanes are they get
- 6:43them all kind of at once, the whole fleet, And yeah, they're
- 6:45probably aging. They might have something to do with it. Man, a
- 6:47great point. Gosh, thanks by, But let me tell you this tale.
- 6:50This just happened Boeing flight A seven seven seven Triple sevens taking off from
- 6:56Germany going to San Francisco or so they thought, Oh that's a lot.
- 7:00Yeah, flight gets in the air, passengers start to notice a foul smell
- 7:03in the cabin and your first thought is like, who had the nerve to
- 7:09let one rip on an airplant? That? And we've heard situations where somebody
- 7:13just like lets it go. There was that one like in the middle of
- 7:15the aisle a few weeks ago. Remember that that guy who just went yeah,
- 7:21I mean, I get sometimes when you're sitting there, there's like sort
- 7:24of that like there's a constant noise in an airplane, so it's kind of
- 7:27loud, and then there's that just vibration feeling, so it's easy to let
- 7:30one slip and like feel like nobody's gonna notice. Ye, but that smell,
- 7:33it's like trapped. I mean, that is a silent but deadly smell.
- 7:39Well, unfortunately, in this case, that foul smell was much more
- 7:42than just a single toot. Passengers noticed the smell was coming from the back
- 7:46of the cabin where the bathroom is, and it turns out that the toilet
- 7:53was defective and the contents of said toilet had overflowed and made their way to
- 8:00the cabin. Oh. I know, you're not spending much for your seats
- 8:05in the back row. Sometimes they're free depending on what flight you're on,
- 8:09but come on, that's brute. It's a tough place to be. It
- 8:13just starts oozing and just like oh, and they're back there, maybe whipping
- 8:16up some cocktails mid flight, and then not anymore than now. So now
- 8:20the flight had to turn around, which is interesting. I mean, if
- 8:24you're them. If you got already a long flight the way it is,
- 8:26would you say, all right, just clean it up, wipe it up,
- 8:28and let's keep going. I always wonder why they have to turn around.
- 8:31Can't they a land somewhere, clean it up, get on a different
- 8:35plane and go. I guess it depends on route. If they hadn't gone
- 8:37that far, it's just easy. It's just to quick turn around. Yeah,
- 8:41boeing not a good look. So if you're like number two in the
- 8:43airplane in the street, you're probably going to change. What even is another
- 8:46plane? I we just looked it up. Was air Airbus air Bus air
- 8:50Bus And honestly, all because we fly Frontier back and forth to Colorado all
- 8:56the time, I'm just looking at the animal on the plane. That's like
- 8:58our favorite game. They have animals on the plane. What do you mean
- 9:01on the wing? Oh? There is? Yeah, Okay. It's so
- 9:05fun because you just get a guess, like, what do you think it's
- 9:07going to be? You're the one that keeps the window open during the flight
- 9:11sometimes yeah, I hate you really. Yeah, in the middle of sunny
- 9:15or an evening flight when the sun is setting, it it's just all I
- 9:16want to do is take a little nap, and I can't because I've got
- 9:20the slightest light you've ever seen shining in my arm. Are you kidding me?
- 9:22I'm getting all the picks for the gram of the beautiful sun setting above
- 9:26the clouds. If it's your first flight, I'll give it to you.
- 9:30But beyond that close the shade, My gosh, morning, Amanda Stills the
- 9:35sea. We's see this one here, brought to you by Valley Service Mechanical.
- 9:39All right, what are your thoughts on this? So just days after
- 9:43Lizzo shared an emotional I quit statement on Instagram, she said, I quit.
- 9:48Those are It's not like we're making this up, she said, I
- 9:52quit. Well. The attorney who is representing the dancers who are suing her
- 9:56for harassment said it's a joke that Lizzo would be and that she's being bullied
- 10:01by the internet when she should instead be taking an honest look at herself right
- 10:05now. He goes on with this long statement saying that she is so desperately
- 10:09trying to play victim. No one actually believes she's quitting music, but she
- 10:11should quit sexually harassing, shaming, and bullying. Her employee is and finally
- 10:15accept responsibility for her actions. Lizzo's team fired back after this long statement and
- 10:20basically said that all those accusations have been dismissed, which I have not seen
- 10:26that, and just said that this guy is releasing this statement for clout.
- 10:30Maybe all of that is true. You know, part of me feels like
- 10:33I know for fact, Lizzo is bullied. I mean just for her weight
- 10:35alone. Yes, of course, which is now awful. Right, two
- 10:39wrongs will make it right. Somebody's mom once said to me when I was
- 10:43a child, so that could be true. But then also there's enough there
- 10:46as far as accusations of her being at least harassing a little bit. I'm
- 10:50going to guess there's some fire there where there's all the smoke, you know,
- 10:54a little bit. Yes, And then I'm assuming obviously the lawyers is
- 10:56trying to get paid to like that. I think it's all probably true,
- 10:58which is not an exciting but yeah, but this is okay. So let's
- 11:01take away that statement in general, the fact that Lizzo said that she quit,
- 11:05and then yesterday she jumped on Instagram, I'm wearing a swimsuit saying this,
- 11:09Oh yeah, sorry, I want to make this video because I just
- 11:13need to clarify. When I say I quit, I mean I quit giving
- 11:18any negative energy attention. What I'm not gonna quit is the joy of my
- 11:26life, which is making music, which is connecting to people. Okay,
- 11:28so she knew what she was doing, and now you know, it sort
- 11:33of feels in a way like gas lighting, telling us that we misunderstood.
- 11:37There's that and the reason I brought up she was wearing a swimsuit because immediately
- 11:41following that video, she shared a video about her new swimsuit line, and
- 11:46it just felt like that was all pr like, Hey, you have our
- 11:48attention. Now you're gonna hawk something at us. I don't. I don't
- 11:50care for that. Don't care for that at all. Really, am Mandalie?
- 11:54Do I need to go to your Facebook page? Yeah? One hundred
- 11:56percent. I'm not gonna be sitting here like trying to get your attention to
- 12:00do something like that. If you're following along, you know, I'm not
- 12:03gonna be like, if you're still here, thanks for following me or whatever.
- 12:07You know. Yeah, you don't do a lot of swimsuit content,
- 12:09do you. I'm sure you'd be driving some of the boy the Fargo boys
- 12:13wild, that's not my jam anymore. No even then full of them,
- 12:20then that girl, No, No, I even remember I shared my Space
- 12:24with my ex husband, so there was no none of that content. Boring.
- 12:28Yeah, not really great with that just I don't know. It didn't
- 12:33sit well with me. I get you. And this is also just kind
- 12:37of gross. A former employee of Kanye West has filed to complaint alleging harassing
- 12:41behavior and then also a little discrimination going on, which we've heard over time.
- 12:46Now. This guy worked at Donda Academy school with it just a dash
- 12:48of neo Nazism, just a dash. There's a little bit more of a
- 12:54dash going on. He said. Kanye allegedly was trying to shave the heads
- 12:58of students. He was threatening them and then also trying to lock them in
- 13:01cages. I'm like, okay, this is very aggressive. He also was
- 13:05expressing admiration for Hitler, which also with the shaving of the heads all of
- 13:09it. I'm like, what was going on? And why is nobody else
- 13:11speaking out about this? That was my child? Wouldn't you be pretty concerned?
- 13:16I don't know who who's sending their kids to Kanye school? Also,
- 13:20so very true, but this guy only seeking damages for distress thirty five thousand
- 13:26dollars. You gotta shoot higher, Bud Well. I'm I don't care for
- 13:31frivolous lawsuits, but if you're gonna do it, I mean do it right.
- 13:33And if you read this entire lawsuit, I gave you just like a
- 13:35little tease because I can't I feel gross even reading you all of it.
- 13:39Some of the things that he had said. How is he not fully canceled?
- 13:43It's mind blowing to me. Well, that's a you know, it's
- 13:46a what do you call it. It's a nuanced situation to cancel somebody because
- 13:50you know, like I mean, is he playing shows? Not really,
- 13:54So he's anybody. Anybody can put music out, any criminal or whatever.
- 14:00That's true. Kelly Ripper and Mark and Suelos, you know, they have
- 14:03their show Live with Kelly and Mark, and they're apparently on a nice little
- 14:05week vacation, so they have like a best of show going on all the
- 14:09highlights from the last year. Well, they must not have watched them,
- 14:13and whoever's in charge of it must not have been paying too much attention.
- 14:16So they just so happened. I mean, three hundred and sixty five days
- 14:20a year. They probably have how many shows, and they they happen to
- 14:24replay one from last June where Kelly Rippa is just begging Pe Diddy for an
- 14:30invitation to be on his yacht. I'm like, did they make it obvious
- 14:35that they're replays best of or I don't think so. People are gonna think,
- 14:37yeah, if you just tune in, all of a sudden, Kelly
- 14:39rip is up there just begging to be didt easy. Yeah, I don't
- 14:43know if it's had previously recorded on there or not, and how many people
- 14:46would even pay attention, But yeah, the timing of that. What a
- 14:50good look? What this has nothing to do with that, but what a
- 14:52good looking couple? Oh really? I mean just see all these years later,
- 14:56Like we saw a throwback from or I was watching there's that show on
- 14:58Hulu called The Dark Side of the two thousands, right, and so it
- 15:01showed this flashback of Kelly and that was back when Mark would just fill in.
- 15:05Yeah, my god, I thought it was today. It looked the
- 15:07exact same they in. They're aging. Honestly, I think they look better
- 15:11now in a very odd way. There's a few people that do that you're
- 15:13like, gosh, you're just looking better in time. I just I really
- 15:16hope that's me one day. Yeah, No, I think you and I
- 15:20I think and I will age much like Kelly and Coslos taking Amanda old Kelly.
- 15:26And by the way, we did discuss this a little bit earlier off
- 15:30air. I like Kelly and Consuelos way better than Kelly at Mark and Kelly.
- 15:35Oh, it sounds incredible and what a name. They really missed an
- 15:37opportunity. PO will send them an email like in the morning on Big Nutty
- 15:43eight points seven. It's what you need to know. Well, we were
- 15:46watching, and it looks like a lot of other people were as well.
- 15:50I didn't watch it. You didn't watch any of it. Oh, that's
- 15:54right. You don't have live TV. I mean you were watching some of
- 15:54the highway. Even if I had live TV, I don't think I would
- 15:58have. But I did google the score. That's what. Also, Well,
- 16:00you cared enough about that. IOWA an LSU's Monday night game average about
- 16:04twelve point three million viewers on ESPN. Of course, that was the most
- 16:07watched women's college basketball game ever, but it also was one of the most
- 16:11viewed games in any sport this year other than football, of course, that's
- 16:15always going to be the exception. Yeah, I mean, listen, they
- 16:18earned it. You know, they built the storyline going back to last year.
- 16:21You've got like Caitlin Clark, maybe the best ever in that sport,
- 16:23going against the team that beat her, and there was a lot of taunting
- 16:27going on, so you got kind of the villain in the storyline. You
- 16:30know. They are honestly on social media has blown so out of proportion,
- 16:33just kind of annoying to me. It's like, why are you doing this,
- 16:36like pitying these women against each other so hard they do it. I
- 16:38mean, it's and it's entertainment, Like I love it. I'm all about
- 16:41it. I mean, that's what's gonna get people to watch. Nobody's gonna
- 16:45watch just because like it's women. You know, you want to support women,
- 16:48of course, But I found in entertainment and arts, Amanda, nobody
- 16:52owes you their viewership, you know what I mean, Or owes you to
- 16:55listen to your new music, you know what I mean. Like, as
- 16:57a guy in a band, you would think if I worked on an album
- 17:00and put it out, all of my friends and family would listen. And
- 17:03but they don't. You know. I'll talk to good friends or family and
- 17:07they're like, I'm like, oh, did you hear the new song we
- 17:07put out? And they're like, oh no, what was that again?
- 17:10Who what? It's like saying it's entertainment, Like nobody owes them to watch
- 17:14it unless they're putting a product out there that makes people want to watch.
- 17:17And they've done so. So very cool. Yeah, they had an article
- 17:19yesterday about like the recruiting class of it would have been twenty twenty of all
- 17:23of the girls that are in there right now, and there's like six of
- 17:26them that are just hot to trot right now in the NCAA. So that's
- 17:30pretty awesome. Can you imagine setting sail twenty one day? Cruise got a
- 17:37cost a good chunk of money. I mean, this is like a like
- 17:41once in a lifetime. It's down in Africa too, But I mean,
- 17:44I will say cruises are generally a pretty good bang for your buck forgetting I
- 17:48mean, for what you get, it's pretty good. Well, there's scriput
- 17:51passengers who were reportedly left on an African island. You probably saw this by
- 17:55now, by their cruise liner, but they are planning to return to the
- 17:57ship. So the passengers were originally supposed to reboard on Monday, but the
- 18:00ship could not dock safely due to the weather. So what ended up happening
- 18:03is they were late to board the ship and then the ship was trying to
- 18:07get to them, but the way the weather was, they couldn't redock.
- 18:10So the pictures and images everything looks kind of like, hey, why aren't
- 18:14you letting them on even though you're kind of right there, Yeah, you're
- 18:17right there. I mean, at least throw one of those little uh lifes
- 18:21pull them up. But I guess typically guests are responsible for their travel costs
- 18:25to get to the next island or wherever the stop is. Norwegian Cruise Line
- 18:29did say because it was due to weather. We're getting everybody who was look
- 18:32behind to where they're seemed to go. Looking at the people, the pictures
- 18:36of them, you could just tell they were just ready to post on Facebook
- 18:38and leave some bound. We're already sitting down for interviews like hey, we're
- 18:42stranded on this island, which yeah, that would suck, but also you
- 18:47got me on time goes back to when you were a kid on field trips.
- 18:48You gotta be back to the bus at this time. Otherwise we're leaving
- 18:52without you. Sorry. And also, kids, I don't think they're gonna
- 18:56leave without you, but you got you're gonna need to be that. We
- 18:59went to the state capitol in sixth grade. Friend of mine named Timmy.
- 19:03You wasn't there. Now. I haven't seen him since now he's just on
- 19:07the Senate on the Senate floor hanging out to the governor. Yes, all
- 19:10right. The Commission voted unanimously yesterday to Grand seven to one. Collective and
- 19:14Jade presents a conditional use permit to bring a new concert venue and outdoor event
- 19:18space near downtown. Now, the Planning Commission brought up a couple of concerns
- 19:22pedestrian safety, safety and parking. Estimated attendants about two thousand people would require
- 19:26about seven hundred and sixty parking spots, so they say that some of these
- 19:30people are going to have to use shuttle services ride share. Also, the
- 19:33railroad track is kind of by there, so they talked about putting up a
- 19:36fence barrier. But ultimately they did say that they'll have that conditional use permit.
- 19:40They are going to have to file for like three or four other permits,
- 19:42including noise permits as they go through the process, but currently there isn't
- 19:48like a loud noise. There's like a noise you have limit. So at
- 19:52ten pm Monday through Thursday, you gotta shut her down at eleven pm on
- 19:55Fridays and Saturdays, I guess Sundays we're not allowed to have live entertainment.
- 19:59What's the lord today? Now? That's cool. It's right next to Farkar
- 20:02Brewing where Jade had been doing outdoor concerts. I know so because my Bandmandlow
- 20:07Standards played there opening for world famous rock band Puddle of Mutt last summer,
- 20:11and that space is really really cool because they I was wondering how are they
- 20:15going to have this done? Because they said this venue is going to be
- 20:17up and running by summer, that's their hopes. But it's really outdoor space,
- 20:21so they just have to create a stage and then pop up tens for
- 20:25the lines or wherever. Right. Oh yeah, festival grounds pretty pretty low
- 20:27maintenance. So I keep refreshing my email for an invitation to play there this
- 20:33summer. So I'll let you know, disgusting, you are not hoking that
- 20:36right now? Did you already send an email to Jade asking if you could
- 20:38be like the opening acts. I got to kick it off in style.
- 20:41I mean, who better, You're already kicking off happy Har's real fest.
- 20:45I know, got a lot going on, but when you're in the band,
- 20:48you by the way still and I don't know why it brings me Jolly's
- 20:52the person on Facebook who said I didn't know he was really in a band
- 20:56And some people just have their head in the sand, and that's okay.
- 21:00I think you're just joking about I'm not joking at all. I get some
- 21:03facade. No, my god, we just had our ten year anniversary show.
- 21:06Who would know? Who would have predicted that ten years ago that we
- 21:08would just now be hitting our peak. I mean, it's really it's remarkable.
- 21:12It is. I'm I'm here for it. Yeah, okay, every
- 21:15single time you bring it up seemed to be all right. Weather today it
- 21:21is going to be sunny. But Wendy, I have about fifty one,
- 21:23get a Manda in the morning, Get up on dig seven, Amanda.
- 21:29You got young kids, So this is a more so a warning for you.
- 21:32But I saw this viral TikTok, this mom making this crazy proclamation that
- 21:37it is okay to send your kids to school in stained clothing. Absolutely,
- 21:42Apparently there's a belief out there that your kids got to have their best cutest
- 21:45outed on every single day. She's got a three year old, and I
- 21:48know you do too, so I mean, like, tell me, what
- 21:51are what are the odds about eddy clothes that aren't stained? That's hilarious.
- 21:55Yes, So of course when you first have a kid, you have like
- 21:59this vision. There's so many cute outfits, all of that stuff, which
- 22:02yes, I love to buy for occasions and doing different things. But it
- 22:06wasn't until I found this spray. Tutsis carries it. It's like a messy
- 22:10eater spray is what it's called. And so because a lot of clothes are
- 22:14light colored, it's just kind of the vibe right now, and so you
- 22:17can spray that on and get the stain off. It's like instantly. But
- 22:19I will tell you this, when your kids go to daycare and they're doing
- 22:23all of the painting, their clothes are always a disaster. And I'm doing
- 22:27laundry all the time because I do like to try to keep them clean,
- 22:30but I have no issues if there's a stain on them they're going to school
- 22:33in it. Well that's what she says, you want to clean the clothes.
- 22:34Of course, don't you know have spaghetti hanging off their T shirt.
- 22:37I have the opposite situation. So Briggs remember the infamous blue tank top that
- 22:44he wore pretty much all summers. Yeah, so he has a Guttenberg Iowa
- 22:49T shirt that is blue, and this little boy wants to wear it every
- 22:55single day. And so Nick and I was laugh because you don't. I
- 22:57mean sometimes right now, Nick, right, who knows what's going on in
- 23:00our house? He tries to let them get ready on their own. He
- 23:03wants to wear the same shirt all of the time, and I'll wash it
- 23:07at night, but he might wear it three days in a row. I
- 23:10don't care. And you exactly like just a big Iowa guy. Huh,
- 23:15huge Guttenburg ey supporting the town. Yes, big river rat that kid,
- 23:19Oh jeez. But and I don't care what people think. I have made
- 23:23a couple of comments like hey, to the teachers and stuff everyone, So
- 23:26I'm like, Mom's washing that just so you know, you know, just
- 23:30so you don't think it's like, hey, we're not Oh my god,
- 23:33that Amanda just sends our kid to school in it same shirt. Sure,
- 23:36and over and over again. It really goes for you know when they get
- 23:38older, because it's such a big deal. Remember when you were a kid,
- 23:41what you were wearing. I hated it, hated it, But there
- 23:45was so much thought that went into are you wearing the cool thing, the
- 23:48right thing? Are people gonna judge you? Oh? My god, did
- 23:49I wear this shirt? Like within a week? You imagine, imagine the
- 23:53horror. Oh my daughter, who is now five, I'll come home and
- 23:57I'll be wearing like the same something from the day before and she's like,
- 24:00Mom, you wore that yesterday. Mom, you just wore that. I'm
- 24:03like, it's okay, Like you can wear that, I know at five.
- 24:08The fact that she even has the wherewithal to go, Mom, I
- 24:11wore that last Tuesday. Yeah, and you're gonna wear it this Tuesday and
- 24:15maybe even the next tuesday like a Manda in the morning. Come on,
- 24:19get up on big. A lot of people regret the tattoos they get,
- 24:25But this guy got a tattoo so regrettable he's now been criminally charged. How
- 24:30is that possible? I mean, it's your body right now that I've got
- 24:33you, You've got me. Don't for seeve with the story this guy got
- 24:38a tattoo in the middle of the night, drunk stupid. First of all,
- 24:41right, what are you seeing? How many people do that? And
- 24:45that there are I guess they're probably thinking, yeah, chud ching, But
- 24:47there should be a rule. I think some people do kind of like turn
- 24:49you away, like they won't give it a tattoo to you. The professionals,
- 24:53Well, this person had no issue giving him a waffle House restaurant.
- 24:59Low go on the man's calf, middle of the night, guy's hammered,
- 25:03so gets the waffle house tattoo. Whatever. Okay, I mean I still
- 25:07don't know why there'd be any legal punishment here. Well, when it came
- 25:11time to pay, he must have sobered up in the amount of time that
- 25:15it took him to get the tattoo, because he realized he didn't want the
- 25:17tattoo and he didn't want to pay for it, especially so the guy,
- 25:21after an argument, ditched out on the tatto, which is only two hundred
- 25:23and fifty dollars. So now a judge has ordered him to pay a total
- 25:27of six hundred and seventy five dollars. Are we going to interest here?
- 25:30Well, I mean, yeah, you gotta pack for all these years in
- 25:33the cord costs and things like that, but and you still are tattoo free,
- 25:37right I am. I go back and forth about getting one. I
- 25:40would want something that is meaningful. I also kind of don't want it on
- 25:44a place that I'm that only I can see. So I've always thought,
- 25:47like my foot or I don't know, but everybody says it's a little tender
- 25:49to do on your foot and then maybe it'll rub off when you wear shoes.
- 25:53You have to probably redo that one. Yeah, well, it's it's
- 25:56one of those things that's kind of catchwright to where you know you want a
- 26:00tattoo, it's like, Okay, you don't want it to be maybe super
- 26:02visible, But then at the same time, it's like, well, then
- 26:03what's the plenty of getting it as if you can't really see it, or
- 26:07cause it's money, you know, Yeah, I get some people spend a
- 26:08lot of money on tattoos. I got one tattoo and it was a meaningful
- 26:11one after my friend had passed away, and after that I thought I was
- 26:15just gonna like kind of keep going and get like a whole sleeve. Maybe.
- 26:18Nope. To this day, it's the only tattoo I have. Yeah,
- 26:21interesting you say that, because that's also I don't feel like I have
- 26:23an addictive personnelity. I think I could just get one, but that right,
- 26:27I have a girlfriend who I never would have thought would have ever had
- 26:30a tattoo, and she is full on, like she has like three of
- 26:34them now and just obsessed with them. Really, that's what they say,
- 26:37once you get one, you can't stop. Now. I don't know,
- 26:41and I just don't know what to get at the same time, because the
- 26:44one I did get was meaningful, like you said. But at the same
- 26:47time, I don't want it just to be like a walking memorial every time
- 26:51somebody I know dies, you know what I mean. I want to be
- 26:52able to get something that's sort of just fun and philly. But then then
- 26:56what would be fun until So I was gonna do something in honor of my
- 27:00mom, like I have her signature. So I had it actually put on
- 27:04a picture and so that's in Sydney's room and I'm like, okay, I
- 27:07have that where it says xox O Mama. So I'm like, maybe this
- 27:11is something like later in life, Sydney and I would get some sort of
- 27:15tattoo and create a generational situation. But as of right now, I don't
- 27:18have the desire. I have a couple of friends who have like their kids
- 27:22have something, you know, regarding them. But would you ever, because
- 27:26I know you're a huge fan of low standards, would you rather be like
- 27:29the logo or we talked about doing that, we did talk about I would
- 27:32totally do that. That'd be all about that because that's something that like,
- 27:34I know, I wouldn't unless we had some big falling out. But even
- 27:37then, it's still it's been a huge part of your life, and it's
- 27:40your buddies so and your brother. It's not like it's you know, we
- 27:45should do that. I'm gonna I'm gonna get I'm gonna fire up the old
- 27:48group message Pike, see what the guys think. What do you want one
- 27:49too? Is that we're driving. I'm just wondering, we've had quite quite
- 27:53some time together on big ninety points. Are you thinking of a p and
- 27:56a logo? I mean, that's a little bit more fresh, but the
- 28:00ninety eight point seven, so I just get that. I mean, everybody
- 28:03put that going on eleven years now. It feels like a rear end piece
