- 0:14Speaker 3: I literally walked out of my job this morning.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Oh, right on.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Wow.
- 0:21Speaker 1: What was your job? What happened?
- 0:24Speaker 3: Um, I work in the print industry. I print your
- 0:26Speaker 3: utility bills. Um, so think of all like the major, um,
- 0:30Speaker 3: Companies in Arizona, I do all the billing for them,
- 0:32Speaker 3: printing it, and I just got fed up with the
- 0:36Speaker 3: way my management was handling things.
- 0:38Speaker 1: So you just quit?
- 0:40Speaker 3: I just, I walked in this morning, cleared out my locker,
- 0:43Speaker 3: handed them my key fob.
- 0:44Speaker 1: And walked out. Okay, so you want.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Us to hex?
- 0:47Speaker 5: You want us to put a.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Hex on that company? Yes. Okay, here we go. Those
- 1:00Speaker 1: are evil squirrels. Well, you don't want to mess with
- 1:03Speaker 1: evil squirrels. I'll tell you that right now. Where's the hex?
- 1:06Speaker 1: All right, Christy, have a great day. Thanks for listening.
- 1:12Speaker 1: You too. By the way, if you want us to
- 1:14Speaker 1: hex your ex, call us at 877-937-1047. Right now, though,
- 1:18Speaker 1: we'll do it after a minute to win it. James,
- 1:20Speaker 1: good morning.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Morning.
- 1:23Speaker 1: All right, you're our contestant, dude. What are you doing
- 1:25Speaker 1: right now? I am on the way to work. What
- 1:29Speaker 1: part of town do you work? What do you do
- 1:30Speaker 1: for a living?
- 1:31Speaker 6: You're going to be crazy because Peyton already said it.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I work at Zips.
- 1:35Speaker 7: Oh, my kind of guy. I hope you get this money.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Boy, you're starting early.
- 1:41Speaker 6: Oh, man, GM, so inventory today.
- 1:44Speaker 1: All right, let's go. Good luck.
- 1:46Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 1:49Speaker 2: Peoria Ford right now.
- 1:50Speaker 8: Minute to win it.

- 1:54Speaker 4: You get $ 1, 000, James. Here we go. What movie and
- 1:59Speaker 4: sequel about a family of witches star Sandra Bullock and
- 2:02Speaker 4: Nicole Kidman?
- 2:06Speaker 5: Oh, my.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Sandra Bullock.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Number one at the box office this week, too. Oh,
- 2:16Speaker 1: my God. The sequel is number one, I should say. Oh,
- 2:26Speaker 1: my God.
- 2:26Speaker 6: I already just lost the game.
- 2:27Speaker 1: God dang it. TikiCast, you might be right.
- 2:35Speaker 8: I got to say witches.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Close.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Close. Looking for practical magic. Oh, my God.
- 2:47Speaker 6: You guys just said that on the radio, too. I
- 2:48Speaker 6: was wondering. I was trying to figure it out, too.
- 2:50Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 2:51Speaker 7: I was rooting for you, James.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Especially since he is a hero. Because he works at Zips.
- 2:56Speaker 7: I love Zips.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Well, James, we're going to set you up with a
- 3:01Speaker 1: gift card to Del Taco. Gotcha. Thank you guys so much.
- 3:06Speaker 1: You got it, James. Hold on. I'm going to get
- 3:07Speaker 1: your information.
- 3:10Speaker 6: That's a bummer.
- 3:10Speaker 1: That went quick. You know what's funny is whenever someone
- 3:14Speaker 1: loses in the first question, the amount of hate text
- 3:17Speaker 1: that we get. For us, if they're mad at us.
- 3:20Speaker 1: At the contestants.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Oh.
- 3:22Speaker 7: But it's so different when you are the contestant.
- 3:25Speaker 9: It's true.
- 3:26Speaker 7: It's true.
- 3:26Speaker 4: The people that hate the most, if they get, I mean,
- 3:28Speaker 4: because we've had people get on here and be like,
- 3:30Speaker 4: I'm going to rock this. And they just get caught
- 3:32Speaker 4: up in the headlights.
- 3:33Speaker 1: It happens.
- 3:33Speaker 10: It's just like a weird extra set of pressure that
- 3:36Speaker 10: falls upon you in the moment.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I wasn't expecting the person to be gone that soon
- 3:41Speaker 1: because we're going to do Hex Your Ex. We're also
- 3:43Speaker 1: going to have a witch on. So if you want
- 3:44Speaker 1: to put a hex on your ex, we have the power.
- 3:47Speaker 1: to it's like a voodoo doll we're going to put
- 3:49Speaker 1: a hex on your ex-boyfriend ex-girlfriend ex-work ex-husband ex-wife call
- 3:55Speaker 1: us at 877-937-1047 and the hacks well this is here's
- 3:59Speaker 1: the hacks.
- 4:03Speaker 9: I'm kind of scary hello john jade rich you want
- 4:12Speaker 9: to put a hex on your ex.
- 4:17Speaker 7: No, I'm good there.
- 4:18Speaker 8: That is quite something, though.
- 4:21Speaker 1: You had a great witch's laugh, though, in the very beginning.
- 4:24Speaker 1: That was great. Oh, yeah, it's pretty strong.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Well, I was calling.
- 4:30Speaker 8: I just heard Courtney.
- 4:31Speaker 11: I was kind of listening on and.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Off on my way to a doctor's appointment. But hearing
- 4:35Speaker 5: her whole story now, I'm 46 years old. I have
- 4:39Speaker 5: a girlfriend that I've had for 28 years. We met
- 4:42Speaker 5: my senior year in high school. And literally... last week
- 4:48Speaker 5: she was coming over to.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Hang over, hang out.
- 4:50Speaker 5: We watch trash TV and Bravo and all that good stuff.
- 4:53Speaker 5: And my husband was.
- 4:55Speaker 8: Going to be home from work early and he was
- 4:57Speaker 8: in the living room watching TV.
- 4:58Speaker 5: And he was like, Hey, I can go downstairs and
- 5:01Speaker 5: watch this. And I was like, no, it's no problem.
- 5:03Speaker 5: We're going to go in the bedroom. And he was like,
- 5:06Speaker 5: looks at me and he's like, what do you mean
- 5:07Speaker 5: you're going to the bedroom?
- 5:08Speaker 6: I was like, yeah, we.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Cuddle in bed and watch TV and talk and hang out.
- 5:12Speaker 5: And he just kind of looks at me and tilts
- 5:14Speaker 5: his head.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And he was like, seriously?
- 5:16Speaker 8: And I was like, yeah, we've been doing.
- 5:18Speaker 5: This since I was in high school. Like we hang
- 5:21Speaker 5: out in bed, we chat, we whatever. So I think
- 5:25Speaker 5: that's totally normal.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I am mid forties.
- 5:27Speaker 7: I get it.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Girl friendships are way different than guy friendships.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Because Courtney's thing was how her husband got all mad.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It was Courtney was calling us from Brussels.
- 5:39Speaker 8: And I, and I do totally get.
- 5:41Speaker 5: Especially if he's a germaphobe being like, whoa, the stranger
- 5:44Speaker 5: slept in my bed, but I mean, also, I don't
- 5:48Speaker 5: think any of us should really be in trouble with
- 5:52Speaker 5: our spouses on something like friendships. But anyway, that's just
- 5:58Speaker 5: my take on it.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Well, thank you very much for calling in, and I
- 6:01Speaker 1: love your laugh.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Oh, thank you.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You guys are awesome.
- 6:05Speaker 5: I love listening to you every morning.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Have a great day.
- 6:09Speaker 7: You too.
- 6:09Speaker 5: Thanks, guys.
- 6:11Speaker 1: What's up, Eric? You're on the air.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Hi.
- 6:15Speaker 6: So I was listening to you guys last week and
- 6:18Speaker 6: I was listening to the post breakup whole thing. And
- 6:23Speaker 6: I do have a long story because I spoke to
- 6:25Speaker 6: you guys last November about my breakup. How this guy
- 6:30Speaker 6: cheated on me and he was going to Vegas and
- 6:35Speaker 6: told me somebody passed away, but literally he was just.
- 6:38Speaker 1: With someone else.
- 6:40Speaker 6: And eventually, I decided to take a different route. I
- 6:45Speaker 6: went through therapy, of course, but I got weight loss surgery.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I started going to the gym.
- 6:53Speaker 6: Um i lost already like 95 pounds like i'm a
- 6:57Speaker 6: different person and uh he literally sent me a message
- 7:03Speaker 6: the other day and he's like oh my god you
- 7:05Speaker 6: look so great uh would you be down to grab
- 7:08Speaker 6: some drinks i'm like hell no oh good.
- 7:11Speaker 10: For you i love that and that was probably so satisfying.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Okay eric do you want us to put a hex
- 7:19Speaker 1: on your ex A what? You want us to put
- 7:22Speaker 1: a hex on your ex.
- 7:24Speaker 6: No, I don't care.
- 7:26Speaker 5: You know, I'm like.
- 7:27Speaker 6: A better person now.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but we.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Want to put a hex on the ex.
- 7:31Speaker 1: What's his name, Eric? What's his name? Michael. Here we go.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Here's the hex.
- 7:40Speaker 7: On Michael.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Take that, Michael. All right, Eric, thank you for calling in, man.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Thanks for listening.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you, Mike.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Hey, for real though, for real, we're going to have
- 7:51Speaker 1: a real witch on in just a little bit. And
- 7:53Speaker 1: here's what she can do. If your family is cursed
- 7:56Speaker 1: or you're cursed, she can get rid of the curse.
- 8:00Speaker 1: So we want to hear from you about your curse,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and then we'll patch you through to talk to her.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I don't know if we're going to get a bunch
- 8:07Speaker 1: of people that are going to have their families cursed,
- 8:09Speaker 1: but we'll just get one. We'll patch you through and
- 8:11Speaker 1: she will get rid of the curse. Um, So 877-937-1047.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Wendy the witch. She's like a, would you say fifth
- 8:17Speaker 1: generation witch?
- 8:18Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:19Speaker 1: It's been at it for a long time. It'd be
- 8:20Speaker 1: really interesting to hear how that works. I'm kind of
- 8:22Speaker 1: afraid to talk to her actually. She might be like
- 8:24Speaker 1: coming after us. Hey, I want to get into what
- 8:25Speaker 1: you said earlier about, we were talking about, I mean,
- 8:28Speaker 1: the AI conversation is everywhere about AI getting out of control.
- 8:31Speaker 1: And you said your AI lied to you. For sure.
- 8:33Speaker 7: What?
- 8:34Speaker 4: I caught it in a lie. In fact, I tested
- 8:36Speaker 4: to see if it would lie to me. So here's
- 8:38Speaker 4: the thing. I was writing some music and I would
- 8:41Speaker 4: have AI up because I'm asking about chord structure and
- 8:44Speaker 4: all this stuff. And it said, why don't you upload
- 8:47Speaker 4: what you have for me so far? Because I can
- 8:49Speaker 4: listen to it and tell you what I think of it.
- 8:52Speaker 4: So I uploaded up to chat GPT. It says, I
- 8:54Speaker 4: like the beats.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I like this. What if you change this and this
- 8:57Speaker 1: and this? It'll be better. I said, okay.
- 9:00Speaker 4: And I uploaded the exact same file. And it said,
- 9:02Speaker 4: that's a lot better. It sounds way different. I caught
- 9:05Speaker 4: it lying. I didn't change anything.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Or does AI just not want to hurt your feelings?
- 9:09Speaker 1: It didn't like the song.
- 9:11Speaker 7: It's protecting you, Richard.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. We've been doing this a long time.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Why would you say, oh, yeah, that sounds sonically different.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I did the same exact thing. Totally caught it lying.
- 9:22Speaker 7: Did you call it out?
- 9:23Speaker 1: I did not. I kept it in my pocket.
- 9:25Speaker 10: Because I feel like whenever you call out chat GPT
- 9:27Speaker 10: when they're wrong, you're like, you're absolutely right.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah, my bad.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:30Speaker 1: My bad.
- 9:31Speaker 4: I totally made you take the wrong medication. Whatever it's doing. Like,
- 9:35Speaker 4: but a total lie. Like, change this and this. I
- 9:37Speaker 4: didn't change anything. Isn't that kind of wild? So don't
- 9:41Speaker 4: trust the AI. We already know the computers are going
- 9:43Speaker 4: to kill us.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Are you paying for the AI for chat GPT? I
- 9:46Speaker 1: do pay for chat GPT.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Because I wonder if it was free, it wouldn't. Well,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I don't know what to say, man.
- 9:50Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I just keep hearing all these horrible things about it.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I can tell you this, though. You know how everyone
- 9:54Speaker 1: says when you make an AI video or something, you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: wasting all this water. Yeah. I found out. and I
- 10:00Speaker 1: don't want to get into the whole thing, but I
- 10:02Speaker 1: found out that that's not true. That the water used
- 10:05Speaker 1: in these data centers is recycled water and they use it.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's like a … It goes around. You know what
- 10:10Speaker 1: I mean? Like they put the water in. Recycled? It
- 10:12Speaker 1: uses that same water over and over and over again.
- 10:14Speaker 1: It's not taking water from somewhere else. That's all BS
- 10:17Speaker 1: planted by anti. I was talking to a guy that
- 10:20Speaker 1: builds those data centers. Oh, yeah. He was telling me.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm sure. It's like this whole thing where they're saying
- 10:25Speaker 1: it's not wasting water at all. It's still whatever water is.
- 10:28Speaker 7: But it takes a lot of water to build the
- 10:30Speaker 7: data centers.
- 10:32Speaker 1: That's not the debate. The debate is when you use
- 10:34Speaker 1: it to make a video or something, that you're using
- 10:36Speaker 1: all this water. And you're not, according to this person
- 10:39Speaker 1: I met that does this for a living.
- 10:41Speaker 7: Keep on chachapating.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Oh, hey, Rich's song is up. What did AI think
- 10:46Speaker 1: about this song? We've been waiting on this a long time.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Feel this when you know that it's all right. Classic.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So AI said change the chords. Wasn't that soft? It works.
- 11:04Speaker 1: That AI just eliminates itself after that. I don't want
- 11:07Speaker 1: to answer your question anymore. No more music. Only ask
- 11:10Speaker 1: me about food. Where to go eat. That's all I
- 11:11Speaker 1: want to help you with. Number one movie in the
- 11:13Speaker 1: world is Practical Magic 2. To celebrate, we are going
- 11:16Speaker 1: to lift your curse. 877-937-1047. That is next with The
- 11:19Speaker 1: Real Witch. Coffee in hand, earbuds on John Jay and Rich.
- 11:32Speaker 8: Mornings on 104.7 KISS FM.
- 11:34Speaker 7: I'm dressing for the season I want it to be. Yes,
- 11:37Speaker 7: like it's still hot outside, but mentally I am already
- 11:39Speaker 7: in fall. Mentally, I think I'm wearing cute jeans, boots,
- 11:42Speaker 7: a jacket. Yeah, maybe holding a coffee. Obviously. But here's
- 11:46Speaker 7: my problem. Every fall, I'm like, okay, what's actually cute now?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Same.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I know.
- 11:50Speaker 10: Like when I see something I like, I know I
- 11:52Speaker 10: like it, but I'm not sitting there like, studying fall
- 11:54Speaker 10: fashion trends.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 11:56Speaker 7: Like, can you just tell me what I'm wearing?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:58Speaker 10: And apparently Macy's kind of understood that assignment because their
- 12:01Speaker 10: best of the season sale is basically all the good
- 12:03Speaker 10: fall stuff already pulled together and brands that like rarely
- 12:07Speaker 10: go on sale are on sale.
- 12:08Speaker 7: Which I love. Like, don't make me go hunt through
- 12:11Speaker 7: 17 different trends. Show me the good.
- 12:13Speaker 10: Stuff yes and we're talking calvin klein michael kors bcbg
- 12:19Speaker 10: steve madden 30 off i'm getting so excited we have
- 12:23Speaker 10: to build an outfit i'm starting with jeans but like
- 12:25Speaker 10: what jeans.
- 12:25Speaker 13: Are we wearing now wide leg is still big there's
- 12:29Speaker 13: relaxed denim barrel jeans flares and they've got levi's good
- 12:32Speaker 13: american wait those are part of the brands that are
- 12:35Speaker 13: 30 off too yes yes keep going what's on top Okay.
- 12:40Speaker 10: I think I want one of those jackets that makes
- 12:41Speaker 10: a basic outfit look suddenly like, oh my gosh, she
- 12:44Speaker 10: definitely tried on that one.
- 12:46Speaker 8: Suede.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Okay.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yes.
- 12:47Speaker 7: Suede is it for sure. Jeans, simple top, suede jacket.
- 12:52Speaker 7: Cute back.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Done.
- 12:54Speaker 7: And that's what I like about this sale. So Macy's
- 12:56Speaker 7: is like basically gone. Here, these are the brands. These
- 13:00Speaker 7: are the trends. Go find your version of it. And
- 13:01Speaker 7: some of these brands, they rarely go on sale.
- 13:03Speaker 13: So 30% off during the season, you actually want them.
- 13:07Speaker 7: And I'm sorry, beauty is 15% off too. MAC, Clinique, Armani.
- 13:11Speaker 10: Okay, that's amazing. So we're doing the outfit and the
- 13:14Speaker 10: face now. This is how you get me.
- 13:16Speaker 7: I walk in wanting jeans and suddenly I'm building an
- 13:18Speaker 7: entire fall version of myself. But that's the fun part.
- 13:20Speaker 7: It's your fall fashion moment.
- 13:22Speaker 10: It's our fall fashion moment, right? And you know, somebody
- 13:25Speaker 10: already did the homework for us. Macy's Best of the
- 13:28Speaker 10: Season sale is September 17th through 28th, right?
- 13:31Speaker 7: Yep, we've got 12 days to find our follow-up.
- 13:33Speaker 1: These beautiful things that I've got. Number one movie at
- 13:43Speaker 1: the box office is Practical Magic 2 about witches and curses.
- 13:47Speaker 1: And we actually have a real witch, a very famous witch, Wendy.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Wendy Mata. Wendy, good morning.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Good morning. Hello, hello.
- 13:55Speaker 5: Hello.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Thank you for jumping on our radio show.
- 14:00Speaker 8: Thank you for calling me. This sounds really fun, so
- 14:02Speaker 8: it's a pleasure.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Oh, good. Well, we have a couple people that we
- 14:06Speaker 1: do want to, because we heard you could break curses
- 14:08Speaker 1: and stuff, so we want to get into that. But
- 14:09Speaker 1: we also want to talk to you about you being
- 14:11Speaker 1: a witch and how did that happen and what gifts
- 14:14Speaker 1: do you have by being a witch?
- 14:18Speaker 10: Sounds good.
- 14:19Speaker 8: Ask along.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I'm happy to help.
- 14:20Speaker 8: In any way I can.
- 14:21Speaker 1: First of all, are you a good witch or a
- 14:22Speaker 1: bad witch?
- 14:26Speaker 2: I think it depends on who asks.
- 14:28Speaker 5: I think some people believe that all witches are bad.
- 14:30Speaker 8: And some people believe that some witches are good and
- 14:33Speaker 8: some witches are bad.
- 14:34Speaker 5: I would like to think that I am.
- 14:36Speaker 2: A good witch because most of my work is.
- 14:38Speaker 5: Focused on healing. But it depends on who asks.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Curses are real though, right? You can be cursed.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes.
- 14:47Speaker 2: They are real.
- 14:47Speaker 8: Although I believe that a lot of our problems are
- 14:51Speaker 8: not necessarily.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Created by a curse. but by our patterns and actions.
- 14:56Speaker 8: I don't have the right statistics for this, obviously, but
- 14:59Speaker 8: I think that about 85% of the things that are
- 15:02Speaker 8: happening to us, they could be systemic or they could
- 15:05Speaker 8: be our thinking processes or ways and.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Behaviors and actions.
- 15:08Speaker 8: So there's really a very small percentage of situations that
- 15:13Speaker 8: can be related to a curse. If anything, I will
- 15:15Speaker 8: say that we almost curse ourselves with our mindsets.
- 15:18Speaker 1: So if you believe you're cursed, you're cursed.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:20Speaker 1: If you believe you're cursed. Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 4: It's kind of like what they say. People that say,
- 15:24Speaker 4: I never get sick, never get sick.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Wendy.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we get sick.
- 15:32Speaker 8: I do think that we get sick.
- 15:35Speaker 2: We absolutely get sick. So it is a possibility, of course.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Okay, so how long have you been a witch?
- 15:41Speaker 2: I have been a witch my entire life.
- 15:43Speaker 8: I was born from a family of... witches and healers
- 15:47Speaker 8: from Mexico. So I actually don't know how to live
- 15:50Speaker 8: life any other way.
- 15:51Speaker 1: What part of Mexico?
- 15:53Speaker 8: I'm from a small town called Reynosa de Maulipas, which
- 15:56Speaker 8: is about 20 minutes from the border with McAllen, Texas.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Oh my God, we're all in McAllen, Texas. We were
- 16:03Speaker 1: just there for the parade last December.
- 16:05Speaker 2: The parade of witches?
- 16:06Speaker 1: Yeah, we were in the parade.
- 16:07Speaker 9: Oh my God.
- 16:09Speaker 8: Oh, such a small world.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Well, so how about this real quick? Then if you're
- 16:13Speaker 1: a Mexican witch, you can tell us, is La Llorona real?
- 16:18Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely. Yes, I had a, how can I call it?
- 16:25Speaker 8: Very creepy, yet very illuminating experience with La Llorona when
- 16:29Speaker 8: I was seven years old. in a rancho that I
- 16:32Speaker 8: went with my family, and I clearly remember the screams
- 16:37Speaker 8: and the crying.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 16:38Speaker 8: I'm feeling this coldness from my inside out.
- 16:41Speaker 2: It's the level of coldness that you cannot explain.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Oh, my God. That's terrible. I wish I wouldn't have
- 16:46Speaker 1: known that. What about the Chupacabra? Are they real?
- 16:50Speaker 2: That one, I don't know.
- 16:50Speaker 5: I've never seen the Chupacabra before, but everything is possible
- 16:54Speaker 5: in this world, right?
- 16:54Speaker 3: Right.
- 16:55Speaker 1: So we're talking to a real witch, Wendy. And, Wendy,
- 16:57Speaker 1: you can reverse a family curse, right?
- 17:01Speaker 2: It is possible. Absolutely.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Okay. Well, let's say hi to Sarah. We'll find out
- 17:04Speaker 1: what Sarah's situation is. Sarah, you have a curse? You
- 17:07Speaker 1: have something going on in your life?
- 17:09Speaker 10: I do, yes.
- 17:11Speaker 11: And I'd like some help with it.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Tell us a little bit about yourself and Wendy can
- 17:14Speaker 1: help you.
- 17:15Speaker 12: Well, let's see.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Good morning, Wendy.
- 17:17Speaker 12: I appreciate you talking to me. I actually just lost
- 17:20Speaker 12: my sister a month ago and we were not on
- 17:23Speaker 12: good speaking terms. And when I found out she was
- 17:25Speaker 12: close to passing, I tried to reach out to her
- 17:28Speaker 12: and she did not respond back. And Ever since then, like,
- 17:32Speaker 12: life has just been, like, been.
- 17:34Speaker 11: Super hard and it's kicking me in the face.
- 17:36Speaker 12: And I'm like, you know what?
- 17:37Speaker 11: She probably just sent me some bad juju. She probably
- 17:39Speaker 11: was like, F that girl. And then when she passed,
- 17:43Speaker 11: I think it just kind of carried over.
- 17:48Speaker 8: So you believe that you got some bad juju from
- 17:50Speaker 8: your sister or just in general?
- 17:53Speaker 11: From my sister, I think she was, yeah, she was
- 17:55Speaker 11: not happy and she was not happy with me. So
- 17:58Speaker 11: I think before she, I think maybe me reaching out
- 18:00Speaker 11: to her, she kind of was like, you know, like,
- 18:03Speaker 11: what was the point?
- 18:05Speaker 1: Makes sense.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Some people like want to bless their family before they
- 18:08Speaker 4: go to the other side. Your sister just left you
- 18:11Speaker 4: one little like, gotcha.
- 18:13Speaker 12: Yep.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:14Speaker 11: That's how I feel like, yes.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I'm so sorry that this.
- 18:20Speaker 8: Is a possibility. One of the things that I will
- 18:24Speaker 8: recommend is, I don't know if you are familiar with
- 18:26Speaker 8: ancestral work, which is the people in our family or
- 18:32Speaker 8: that we feel like our family that passed.
- 18:34Speaker 2: So those become our ancestors.
- 18:37Speaker 8: And sometimes our ancestors can be, yes, sending us some
- 18:39Speaker 8: of the love and some of the blessings, and they
- 18:42Speaker 8: can also be sending some negativity because they are just
- 18:45Speaker 8: detaching from the human experience. So my first recommendation will
- 18:49Speaker 8: be to light a white candle to your sister and
- 18:52Speaker 8: to release her to whatever.
- 18:53Speaker 1: You believe in.
- 18:54Speaker 5: If you believe in God, release her to God and
- 18:56Speaker 5: the heavens.
- 18:57Speaker 2: If you believe in nature, release her to nature.
- 19:00Speaker 5: If you believe on the earth, release her to the earth.
- 19:02Speaker 8: Just kind of like an honoring because when a soul passes,
- 19:06Speaker 8: they go through a lot of distress. There's four different
- 19:08Speaker 8: phases of the passing of a soul. So she may
- 19:12Speaker 8: still be on a space where she's still recapitulating the
- 19:15Speaker 8: human experience, which is when we are trying to figure
- 19:19Speaker 8: out if our actions were good.
- 19:21Speaker 5: Or bad for the collective, for our family, and for ourselves.
- 19:25Speaker 8: So lighting a candle to her, just kind of guiding her, hey,
- 19:28Speaker 8: here's some light so that it helps you with your process.
- 19:31Speaker 8: that itself is going to be bringing a lot of balance.
- 19:35Speaker 5: My recommendation, of course, is that you pay attention to
- 19:38Speaker 5: the fire, that you don't let your candle alone. Safety first,
- 19:42Speaker 5: like I tell to my daughter. And the other, the
- 19:44Speaker 5: second one, it's depending on the capabilities of your body,
- 19:48Speaker 5: because we all have different.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Capacities, right?
- 19:51Speaker 5: If you are able to.
- 19:53Speaker 8: Get into the ocean safely. If you're able to get
- 19:57Speaker 8: into the ocean, ask the water of.
- 19:59Speaker 2: The ocean to wash.
- 20:00Speaker 8: Away any kind of energetic attachments that you may still
- 20:03Speaker 8: be feeling with your sister. Any kind of negativity that
- 20:07Speaker 8: she may be sending. And this way, you will be
- 20:09Speaker 8: asking the ocean, which is a huge presence through the planet, right?
- 20:12Speaker 8: It depends on the ocean, to neutralize whatever may.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Be coming from the situation. That way, you're working with nature.
- 20:19Speaker 8: You're not getting in a loop of negativity that she
- 20:24Speaker 8: may have done this or that.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Or the other.
- 20:26Speaker 5: It's more like an understanding, okay.
- 20:28Speaker 8: This soul is struggling, but what can I do to
- 20:32Speaker 8: send her some light? And also, what can I do
- 20:34Speaker 8: to remove.
- 20:35Speaker 2: This from my body because I don't want this?
- 20:37Speaker 5: And if your body doesn't allow you to get into
- 20:39Speaker 5: the ocean right.
- 20:39Speaker 8: Now, then you can work in a lake, in a river,
- 20:42Speaker 8: or even in the shower. You can ask the water
- 20:45Speaker 8: of the shower to just wash it away and rub
- 20:47Speaker 8: some salt in your body. Salt has amazing cleansing properties,
- 20:53Speaker 8: so that will.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Be helping you balance your energy.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Okay. Hey, Wendy.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Does that make sense?
- 20:57Speaker 1: It makes sense to me. And I think, Sarah, that's
- 21:00Speaker 1: great advice. Wendy, does that work for everybody? Can everybody
- 21:02Speaker 1: do that?
- 21:04Speaker 2: Anybody can do that.
- 21:05Speaker 8: So this kind of cleansing works for pretty much anything.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I will just.
- 21:10Speaker 8: Say enter the body of water we respect, right?
- 21:14Speaker 5: We don't want to use the element.
- 21:15Speaker 1: We want to.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Collaborate with them. So we want to ask for permission.
- 21:19Speaker 8: And honoring our ancestors is always a wonderful practice to
- 21:23Speaker 8: reconnect to.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Our own essence and the family line. We also need
- 21:27Speaker 2: to understand.
- 21:28Speaker 8: Not all ancestors may be great.
- 21:30Speaker 2: So we don't have to feel.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Like just because somebody passed, it makes them great.
- 21:34Speaker 2: A wonderful person suddenly.
- 21:36Speaker 7: They still have to go through their process.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Hey, Wendy.
- 21:38Speaker 2: That's right.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Are you okay on time? We're going to give away
- 21:41Speaker 1: some tickets to Disneyland right now, but I still want
- 21:43Speaker 1: to talk to you. Can you?
- 21:44Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:45Speaker 2: I'm here.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Hold on a second, Wendy. We are also
- 21:48Speaker 1: looking for color 104. Color 104 tickets to Disneyland. We're
- 22:01Speaker 1: looking for color 104. To get free Disney tickets. We're
- 22:05Speaker 1: also talking to Wendy Mata, who's a world-famous witch. And
- 22:09Speaker 1: there's no shortage of witches in those Disney movies.
- 22:11Speaker 7: For sure.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Right? What number are you at, Dylan?
- 22:15Speaker 7: You're caller 99.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Okay.
- 22:16Speaker 1: All right.
- 22:18Speaker 7: You're caller 100. You're caller 101. You're caller 102.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I like how she leans into New York.
- 22:27Speaker 7: You're caller 103.
- 22:28Speaker 13: Okay.
- 22:29Speaker 10: All right.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Caller 104 is on line 31.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Um.
- 22:33Speaker 1: We need three magic words from Friday. And if you
- 22:36Speaker 1: get these right, you get the tickets to Disneyland. Here
- 22:40Speaker 1: we go, you guys. You ready? Yeah. All right. Good morning,
- 22:43Speaker 1: John Jane Rich. Hello, who's this?
- 22:45Speaker 8: Hello, this is Kika.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Kika, you are caller 104. What?
- 22:51Speaker 5: No way.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yes, Santa Maria, yes.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Woo!
- 22:58Speaker 1: Fun, fun, fun. Okay, so here's the deal. That's part one.
- 23:02Speaker 1: So you made it through. Now, you got to give
- 23:04Speaker 1: us three of the magic words that we gave out
- 23:06Speaker 1: on Friday.
- 23:07Speaker 11: Snowflake, parade, and werewolf.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Boom.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yes, Kika.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Boom. Woo.
- 23:19Speaker 1: You got tickets to Disneyland.
- 23:21Speaker 10: Hell yeah.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Woo.
- 23:23Speaker 8: We're going to Disneyland.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Woo.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Woo.
- 23:28Speaker 7: That's going to be a fun trip. Yeah, you guys
- 23:30Speaker 7: are going to.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Have a blast.
- 23:32Speaker 2: We're going to Disneyland.
- 23:36Speaker 1: You're also thrown in the hopper to win the grand prize.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Sweet.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Fantastic.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I love prizes. Hold on a second. Hold on. We're
- 23:45Speaker 1: going to set you up. Hold on.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 23:46Speaker 10: Hold on.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Hey, Wendy. Thanks for holding on there. Hi. Thanks. So
- 23:52Speaker 1: we got Wendy Mata. She is a world famous witch.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Her website, by the way. Can we give out your website, Wendy?
- 23:58Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 23:59Speaker 1: What is it? Bruja.com or something like that?
- 24:02Speaker 5: Bruja.us.
- 24:03Speaker 2: B-R-U-J-A.us.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Hey, can you, just in case, I'm not sure, but
- 24:10Speaker 1: maybe if there's a curse on our show, can you
- 24:13Speaker 1: get rid of it? Yeah, I think there is. How
- 24:15Speaker 1: can you not be sure? How are you not sure
- 24:17Speaker 1: that there's a curse on our show? I just didn't
- 24:19Speaker 1: want to say that. Have you not lived here for
- 24:20Speaker 1: the last couple of years? Maybe you should kind of
- 24:22Speaker 1: throw a little... Do I need to go over a
- 24:23Speaker 1: list of our curses? Light a candle, stand up, stomp
- 24:26Speaker 1: your feet, light a match. We need to do more
- 24:28Speaker 1: than get in the ocean.
- 24:29Speaker 4: We need like a whole Antarctica re-blessing to reverse the curse.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Can you do something like that? Or can you put a...
- 24:36Speaker 1: Can you put a positive curse on us?
- 24:37Speaker 5: Is that.
- 24:37Speaker 1: There's such a... A blessing?
- 24:39Speaker 5: A blessing.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Something.
- 24:40Speaker 8: Why do you think you have a curse in your show?
- 24:43Speaker 1: Listen to us. You listen to the last hour?
- 24:44Speaker 3: No.
- 24:47Speaker 1: You know, I don't know. I just kind of sometimes
- 24:49Speaker 1: feel that way. There's somebody out to get us. I
- 24:51Speaker 1: know that. Yeah, somebody's got a John Jay and Rich
- 24:54Speaker 1: voodoo doll they're stabbing. We have them in the other room.
- 24:58Speaker 7: Nick's like, oh, sorry about that.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Come on, Wendy.
- 25:03Speaker 8: Well, you guys are in the public, and that means
- 25:07Speaker 8: that not 100% of the people wishes the right vibes.
- 25:10Speaker 2: So there is always a possibility.
- 25:12Speaker 5: But one of the things that I.
- 25:13Speaker 8: Actually like to do for myself, it's transmutation. So if
- 25:17Speaker 8: somebody is sending something negative, whether it's on purpose or
- 25:21Speaker 8: by accident... I like to work a lot with fire.
- 25:25Speaker 8: So I do a transmutation spell so that whatever it
- 25:29Speaker 8: is that is coming my way, it transmutes to specific energies.
- 25:33Speaker 8: So you guys that have access to so many energies
- 25:36Speaker 8: because you work with so much people, you could do
- 25:38Speaker 8: something like that. You could bring whatever energy is and
- 25:41Speaker 8: you can decide what you want to do.
- 25:42Speaker 2: If you want.
- 25:44Speaker 5: a bigger, broader audience.
- 25:46Speaker 8: You can transmute it into that. If you want joy,
- 25:49Speaker 8: you can transmit it into that. If you want, whatever
- 25:51Speaker 8: reason you want to create love or serving the world
- 25:54Speaker 8: in a different way, that energy that is being sent
- 25:57Speaker 8: your way can always be used for something else.
- 25:59Speaker 1: So you can take the curse and change it and
- 26:01Speaker 1: make it positive. Do you ever make it to Phoenix?
- 26:03Speaker 1: I think it'd be great to have you in our
- 26:04Speaker 1: studio sometime.
- 26:06Speaker 8: I would love that. I have actually been in Phoenix
- 26:08Speaker 8: a couple of times. One of the companies that I
- 26:10Speaker 8: used to work for had a supplier in Phoenix, and
- 26:12Speaker 8: I used to go to Phoenix for that.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Do you have another job besides being a witch?
- 26:17Speaker 8: No, but I was in cybersecurity and digital forensics for
- 26:20Speaker 8: 20 years.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Before I retired.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And a witch? Holy shit.
- 26:24Speaker 4: That's too much power. That's too much power for one person.
- 26:29Speaker 8: That means that you can use your magic to get
- 26:31Speaker 8: a really good job.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yes.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Well, anyway, Wendy, we're really grateful you jumped on there
- 26:36Speaker 1: with us. You know, you are a happy good witch.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I can tell you're a good witch. You're good people.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 26:42Speaker 1: You're my favorite bruja. How many do you know? Well,
- 26:47Speaker 1: just you.
- 26:47Speaker 8: Oh, you're my best friend. How many friends do you have?
- 26:52Speaker 1: My tia, my tia Malou, she used to, when I remember,
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'd go knock on the bathroom door and she'd be
- 26:57Speaker 1: in the bathroom. We only had one bathroom when I
- 26:58Speaker 1: was a kid and she'd stay over and I'd knock
- 26:59Speaker 1: on the door and she would do a witch's cackle
- 27:01Speaker 1: and scare the hell out of me. Do you do
- 27:05Speaker 1: a witch's cackle, Wendy?
- 27:07Speaker 2: Of course.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Oh, well, we got to hear that.
- 27:11Speaker 8: Well, I think my laughter is a cackle. I think
- 27:14Speaker 8: a lot of witches that are living.
- 27:15Speaker 2: A really good life, they have the.
- 27:17Speaker 8: Cackle because we are very free people.
- 27:19Speaker 2: We live life in.
- 27:21Speaker 8: Our terms as much as we can. And that itself
- 27:25Speaker 8: brings us a lot of joy and a lot of freedom.
- 27:26Speaker 5: So I think every witch that.
- 27:27Speaker 8: Is laughing, that has a good life, has a cackle.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Good. Well, thank you, Wendy. We hope to have you
- 27:33Speaker 1: back on our show sometime. Thank you so much for
- 27:34Speaker 1: taking the time out.
- 27:36Speaker 8: Thank you. Have a wonderful day.
- 27:37Speaker 1: You too. See, that's all. I'll get you, my pretty,
- 27:41Speaker 1: and your little dog too. That's not a good witch.
- 27:44Speaker 1: That's a scary witch. It's a great laugh, though.
- 27:46Speaker 7: Justice for Elphaba.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Wendy's a great witch. A happy witch. I feel good
- 27:50Speaker 1: talking to Wendy. Yeah, man.
- 27:52Speaker 4: She lifted the curse. Watch good things happen now.
- 27:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
