- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Everybody Long the game debut for sent About Caesar sports Foot,
- 0:16Speaker 2: Patrick clayb I'm back here with Greg Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland,
- 0:19Speaker 2: one game away from the super Bowl. We got lines,
- 0:21Speaker 2: prop bets, predictions, and all without vague references to Al Michaels.
- 0:25Speaker 2: We just talk about it because that's all we do
- 0:27Speaker 2: on this show.
- 0:28Speaker 3: We do.
- 0:28Speaker 4: We have picked every game all season long, and we've
- 0:31Speaker 4: gotten each one of them correct.
- 0:33Speaker 5: Okay, that's yeah.
- 0:34Speaker 6: I actually think that we all have. Have we all
- 0:36Speaker 6: been collectively wrong? Unconfirmed? I mean maybe if you add
- 0:39Speaker 6: all of ours together, we've gotten them all correct.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Probably there was one thing we were all collectively wrong
- 0:45Speaker 2: on last week. That's because my theory beloved Detroit Lions
- 0:50Speaker 2: lost to the Washington Commanders. But hey, Cynthia, you've still
- 0:54Speaker 2: got the crown in the playoffs, one game ahead of
- 0:56Speaker 2: Greg and I who are standing there at six and four,
- 0:59Speaker 2: So you've got well there's some sort of victory.
- 1:03Speaker 7: Sorry, or victories are not the same as Lions.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I mean, which would you rather have a Super Bowl trophy?
- 1:09Speaker 3: You're not even on.
- 1:10Speaker 4: The team or back to back regular season postseason crowns
- 1:14Speaker 4: over a lion.
- 1:16Speaker 7: Super healthy for sure.
- 1:18Speaker 2: The game of the week going down Sunday Night and Arrowhead.
- 1:20Speaker 2: It is Josh Allen and the Bills against Mahomes and
- 1:23Speaker 2: the Chiefs. This will be another chapter in what has
- 1:25Speaker 2: already been an incredible rivalry.
- 1:34Speaker 3: By the way you talk, you lean everything down on this.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Poet doubt come out, you know, hold back everything we
- 1:43Speaker 2: fought for.
- 1:44Speaker 5: This is right here.
- 1:47Speaker 3: So you're gonna run a flow pasta.
- 1:51Speaker 8: And it's human pyro technics dressed in red, white and gold.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Three touchdowns in the last minute and forty five seconds.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Bills have the lead.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Thirty six thirty three with thirteen seconds remaining.
- 2:07Speaker 8: Mahomes looks to throw it pump faking right side.
- 2:09Speaker 3: He wants in a comeback. It is cut by Kelsey
- 2:12Speaker 3: Tuck's Down City Pub one.
- 2:17Speaker 8: That's incredible divisional playoff game.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Gonna roll out to his left, nowhere to go, fires
- 2:23Speaker 3: to the end zone, and it's called for a touchdown.
- 2:26Speaker 3: An unbelievable click of the wrist. Fake a pass.
- 2:30Speaker 8: Now he'll run a thirty five yard line blocker thirty
- 2:34Speaker 8: twenty five inside the twenty Chiefs twenty seven. Bill's twenty
- 2:38Speaker 8: four one forty seven to go and the kick is
- 2:42Speaker 8: no God, Helly's.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Getting hell get here.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Left and we'll get to our game picks for both
- 2:51Speaker 2: championship games later on in the show. First, we're gonna
- 2:53Speaker 2: break down the matchup, starting with the Bills and the Chiefs. Greg,
- 2:56Speaker 2: who is your player to watch on offense in this one?
- 2:59Speaker 3: I think it's Savior. You're Worthy. I know we know
- 3:01Speaker 3: what we're gonna get out.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Of Patrick Hohomes greatness and Travis Kelcey greatness. I'm not
- 3:04Speaker 4: totally sure what we're getting out of Xavier Worthy yet.
- 3:07Speaker 4: The early results in this playoff are excellent. Watch some
- 3:11Speaker 4: of the catches that he had a week ago. That
- 3:14Speaker 4: throw when Patrick Mahomes made it took a lot of trust,
- 3:17Speaker 4: a lot of anticipation that his rookie receiver would be
- 3:21Speaker 4: there and might have been the best contested catch Xavier
- 3:24Speaker 4: Worthy made in the entire season.
- 3:26Speaker 3: He can make plays after the catch.
- 3:28Speaker 4: You're gonna use him with some of these short throws,
- 3:30Speaker 4: but he really is the one guy on the team
- 3:33Speaker 4: that has next level speed that can take advantage of
- 3:36Speaker 4: what the Bills defense struggles at and that I think
- 3:38Speaker 4: is team speed at the safety position.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I think Worthy is so big for this Chiefs team.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Well, you talked about Travis Kelce, So I'm actually gonna
- 3:46Speaker 6: take the Travis Kelce torch here. Why because in the playoffs,
- 3:49Speaker 6: Travis Kelce is ridiculous. If I'm looking at what he's
- 3:53Speaker 6: done since twenty twenty in fourteen games, do you know
- 3:56Speaker 6: many times he's exceeded the number that was forecast for him?
- 3:59Speaker 5: How many all of them?
- 4:01Speaker 7: Fourteen fourteen? That is fue one hundred.
- 4:04Speaker 4: It's honesty, is the dumbest stat of all the chief stats.
- 4:08Speaker 3: That's the most ridiculous.
- 4:09Speaker 7: Yeah, we're just gonna let that simmer right there.
- 4:10Speaker 6: But we're also add to that that he's had eighteen
- 4:12Speaker 6: touchdowns in seventeen playoff games as well.
- 4:15Speaker 7: Last week he was ridiculous.
- 4:17Speaker 6: And this is going to be a crazy matchup because
- 4:19Speaker 6: if you look at what happens when he matches up
- 4:21Speaker 6: against a defensive backs versus linebackers, and he's likely to
- 4:24Speaker 6: see linebackers in this one, it's like three yards more
- 4:26Speaker 6: per catch. Ridiculous, just ridiculous. Against the Bills, a.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Guy who hasn't had all that playoff success is a
- 4:34Speaker 2: guy that I'm taking DeAndre Hopkins. I think a lot
- 4:36Speaker 2: of attention goes the way of Exavior Worthy and Travis Kelcey,
- 4:40Speaker 2: and so it gives him, the guy who came at
- 4:43Speaker 2: the deadline, a chance to work against the Bills. He
- 4:46Speaker 2: only ran nineteen routes in the game in Week eleven,
- 4:49Speaker 2: only got one target last week. This thing though, DeAndre
- 4:52Speaker 2: Hopkins has already played against the Buffalo Bills twice this season.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Once was what the Tennessee Titans. Once was back and
- 4:58Speaker 2: week eleven. That first game, he had one catch for
- 5:02Speaker 2: negative one yards. And I do think with all of
- 5:05Speaker 2: the volume of seeing this defense, DeAndre Hopkins plays a
- 5:09Speaker 2: little bit of a factor, especially with all the attention
- 5:11Speaker 2: going with the guys that we talked about first again
- 5:13Speaker 2: three chiefs that we picked there, take note of that.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Sticking with this game, let's a little bit over to
- 5:17Speaker 2: the defensive side. Which player do you have your arm?
- 5:20Speaker 4: Well, we got to give some love to the Bills.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Let's talk a little Greg Russo my name's sake. Although
- 5:25Speaker 4: he does have one less G than me, he said
- 5:27Speaker 4: just fifty percent G but.
- 5:29Speaker 3: A lot of sacks.
- 5:30Speaker 4: It was practically a fifty percent pressure rate in that
- 5:32Speaker 4: first game against the Chiefs. Now it's a different left
- 5:35Speaker 4: tackle this time around, but Greg Russo is one of
- 5:39Speaker 4: those defensive ends that wins with his strength.
- 5:41Speaker 3: It's not about the moves.
- 5:42Speaker 4: And bending the edge and what worked against Joe Tooney
- 5:46Speaker 4: who's stepping in at left tackle for the Chiefs a
- 5:48Speaker 4: week ago. I know Greg russoe is not Will Anderson,
- 5:51Speaker 4: but a lot of it was pure power and I
- 5:53Speaker 4: think Tooney was a little lighter. You can push him back.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Greg Russo, like I said, had a monster game in
- 5:59Speaker 4: that first one, and to me, he's an edge setter.
- 6:01Speaker 4: He's one of the strongest defensive ends in the league,
- 6:04Speaker 4: and that pressure from the left side has really bothered
- 6:07Speaker 4: Patrick Mahomes throughout the course of the season. I think
- 6:10Speaker 4: it's been a problem for them. I think it will
- 6:11Speaker 4: be on Sunday as well.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Well.
- 6:13Speaker 7: I'm looking at Terrell Bernard in this matchup.
- 6:15Speaker 6: He came back from injury and it's been a huge
- 6:18Speaker 6: uptick for this Bill's defense. It's not really about like
- 6:22Speaker 6: discrete situational stats. I can't say the word stats, situational stats.
- 6:27Speaker 7: There we go.
- 6:28Speaker 6: It is all about his impact as a whole. He
- 6:31Speaker 6: frees other people up to be able to get to
- 6:34Speaker 6: the quarterback. He allows some coverage help. He really kind
- 6:37Speaker 6: of does that all purpose thing that we need him
- 6:39Speaker 6: to do. And in this case, he's probably gonna see
- 6:42Speaker 6: a lot of that guy Travis Kelsey we talked about,
- 6:44Speaker 6: and he's probably gonna have to help out if anything
- 6:46Speaker 6: goes over the head of Matt Malon. There's a lot
- 6:48Speaker 6: of stuff going on and with potential injuries to this
- 6:50Speaker 6: defense in the secondary, and I'm talking about Taylor Rapp
- 6:54Speaker 6: and Christian Benford who as of right now we have
- 6:56Speaker 6: not seen them practice yet this week. That will be
- 6:58Speaker 6: a big defense, defensive difference maker if we can get
- 7:02Speaker 6: Terrell Bernard at full speed.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I want to look at is the defensive difference maker
- 7:06Speaker 2: as a whole, because it's like a black hole that
- 7:08Speaker 2: draws attention and.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Has gravity on this defense line.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Of that's Chris Jones, who probably would have a Super
- 7:13Speaker 2: Bowl MVP in his trophy case if you know, voters
- 7:17Speaker 2: valued defense. He was doubled on thirty one point seven
- 7:20Speaker 2: percent of his rushes against Buffalo and Week eleven when
- 7:23Speaker 2: he wasn't he had six pressures. Four of them came
- 7:26Speaker 2: in less than two point six seconds. And also remember
- 7:30Speaker 2: Beck the forty nine Ers had a chance to win
- 7:32Speaker 2: the Super Bowl against the Chiefs. They singled up Chris Jones.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It didn't even actually block him correctly.
- 7:36Speaker 5: At all, a game rerecord. Why why are you?
- 7:38Speaker 4: Why why can't we make a defensive Super Bowl MVP
- 7:41Speaker 4: given offense, give a defense like more awards or recognize
- 7:44Speaker 4: these men.
- 7:44Speaker 5: Let's just take cowardice out of this.
- 7:46Speaker 2: If a defensive player is dominating the game, it's okay.
- 7:50Speaker 5: To give it to the defender every once in a while.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Let's get some over under as.
- 7:53Speaker 2: We get to the total for the Bills in the
- 7:55Speaker 2: Chiefs is forty seven in a half. I've actually got
- 7:58Speaker 2: the over in this one, fifty two. We'll tell you
- 7:59Speaker 2: who scores those points later on in the show. But
- 8:02Speaker 2: I do not foresee a bit of a rock fight here.
- 8:05Speaker 2: We just saw a breakdown of these teams going up
- 8:07Speaker 2: and down the field in their playoff history.
- 8:10Speaker 4: I like the over here, Greg, I agree with you.
- 8:12Speaker 4: I actually am going way over. It might be too low,
- 8:15Speaker 4: but I have sixty two points in a shame. You
- 8:18Speaker 4: might say sixty two, that's a ridiculous number.
- 8:20Speaker 3: It's fifteen.
- 8:21Speaker 4: It's actually less than the average amount of points scored
- 8:24Speaker 4: in this matchup. In the playoffs between the Bills and
- 8:27Speaker 4: the Chiefs, the last three times they've played like it
- 8:29Speaker 4: has been an average of over sixty three points. I
- 8:32Speaker 4: do think ultimately these defenses aren't as good, and I
- 8:35Speaker 4: know the Chiefs haven't been as explosive this year, but
- 8:38Speaker 4: I think they're coming around at the right time offensively
- 8:41Speaker 4: that they'll be able to keep up in a shootout
- 8:43Speaker 4: and not telling you is gonna win, but I think
- 8:44Speaker 4: it's gonna be all points all the time.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Well, I mean, you only got to be over by
- 8:48Speaker 6: half a point in this case, and I am over
- 8:50Speaker 6: by one and a half points. Forty nine points is
- 8:52Speaker 6: my totalness matchup, So it might not seem like as
- 8:55Speaker 6: high of scoring as Greg has it, but I still
- 8:57Speaker 6: have the over as well. I'm looking for some really
- 8:59Speaker 6: vintage like you know, Andy Reid Circle, like preseason, you know,
- 9:03Speaker 6: Game three back in the day. Who knows, but I'm
- 9:06Speaker 6: thinking we're gonna see some weird things. And then Joe
- 9:08Speaker 6: Brady's out here, he's looking for the head coaching job,
- 9:11Speaker 6: so I think we're gonna see a lot of creativity
- 9:13Speaker 6: from both offensive play callers. And like I said, imagine
- 9:16Speaker 6: like a preseason game three. Oh yeah, this is when
- 9:18Speaker 6: you know, Patrick said that he liked, you know, cheeseburgers
- 9:21Speaker 6: as well.
- 9:21Speaker 2: So this is what I call it as for our show,
- 9:23Speaker 2: It's time for Mick the Case, which is not a
- 9:25Speaker 2: reference to a certain Canadians legal team which needs to
- 9:27Speaker 2: stop doing it. Let's dive into these championship matchups.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Some more and play some fill in the blank guys.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Buffalo is trying to go back to the super Bowl
- 9:35Speaker 2: for the first time since the nineties.
- 9:37Speaker 5: Greg, the Bills will win if blank.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Happens, if they can get pressure on Patrick Mahomes with
- 9:43Speaker 4: just four down line minutes.
- 9:44Speaker 3: It's the old recipe.
- 9:46Speaker 4: It's obvious and it's true, and it's what stands out
- 9:48Speaker 4: to me from the first matchup that they had this season,
- 9:51Speaker 4: the Bill's got more pressure than the Chiefs did despite
- 9:55Speaker 4: blitzing far less. I don't know if it was a
- 9:58Speaker 4: matchup thing. I think this four man pass rush I
- 10:00Speaker 4: talked about Greg Russo before has actually underperformed at times
- 10:04Speaker 4: this year, and yet when they're at their best at Oliver,
- 10:08Speaker 4: he'll give you a lot of problems. I think Von
- 10:09Speaker 4: Miller is playing better at the end of the season.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I mentioned Rousseau before, and this Chief's offensive line has
- 10:16Speaker 4: been very up and down. You do not want to
- 10:19Speaker 4: have to send extra defenders at Patrick Mahomes like the
- 10:23Speaker 4: Bills were forced to do a week ago against Lamar Jackson.
- 10:25Speaker 4: That was them kind of getting out of what they do.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Get pressure with four and they can win.
- 10:30Speaker 5: All right, let's flip it to the other sides and
- 10:32Speaker 5: the Chiefs will win. If what happens.
- 10:35Speaker 6: They can force Josh Allen to get uncomfortable and throw
- 10:38Speaker 6: in uncomfortable situations. One of the recipes for this team
- 10:41Speaker 6: this season that has worked out so well is not
- 10:44Speaker 6: turning the ball over. Now, if you force Josh Allen
- 10:48Speaker 6: to throw in uncomfortable situations, perhaps if they're not winning,
- 10:51Speaker 6: or if it's a close game, or if they feel
- 10:53Speaker 6: like there's some sort of time constraint, this could be
- 10:55Speaker 6: a recipe for a crucial turnover. It would be crucial
- 10:59Speaker 6: for the Chiefs defense.
- 11:00Speaker 7: Now.
- 11:01Speaker 6: In the first matchup, Spencer Brown was not playing, and
- 11:04Speaker 6: we saw that what happens there is a little bit
- 11:06Speaker 6: more pressure. Spencer Brown has actually been the best right
- 11:09Speaker 6: tackle at limiting pressures on passing down so if you're
- 11:12Speaker 6: gonna force Josh Allen to throw, perhaps you're gonna have
- 11:15Speaker 6: to look a little bit elsewhere because that big he
- 11:17Speaker 6: is also huge. He's like six ' eight and he's
- 11:19Speaker 6: all of six to eight, So it's not like it's
- 11:21Speaker 6: going to be an easy task.
- 11:22Speaker 2: All right, let's go over to the NFC Greg. The
- 11:24Speaker 2: upstart Commanders will win if this happens.
- 11:27Speaker 4: I'm not rooting for this, but if Jalen hurts just
- 11:30Speaker 4: squeezes the ball a little too tight, and I mean
- 11:33Speaker 4: two things by that number one. What number one is
- 11:36Speaker 4: just he's just holding on to it and he's not
- 11:38Speaker 4: making decisions. And people mentioned last week, oh, his time
- 11:41Speaker 4: to throw was one of his best all year. Yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 4: that's because he never threw it. He just kept taking
- 11:45Speaker 4: sacks that were over four seconds long. It would have
- 11:48Speaker 4: been much higher if he was making quicker decisions. And
- 11:50Speaker 4: when he makes quick decisions, he's one of the better
- 11:52Speaker 4: quarterbacks in the league. And when he holds onto the
- 11:54Speaker 4: ball not so much. And then when I say too tight,
- 11:57Speaker 4: I also mean like that the team is tight, that
- 12:02Speaker 4: the crowd, you fall behind in the game that they're
- 12:05Speaker 4: expected to win, and maybe you're not playing the loose
- 12:07Speaker 4: type of game that you need your leader Jalen Hurts
- 12:10Speaker 4: to play.
- 12:11Speaker 2: All right, well, let's cheer that crowd up, Cynthia. If
- 12:13Speaker 2: Philly wins, if they.
- 12:16Speaker 6: Don't hold the balls to tight just kidding, I'm looking
- 12:18Speaker 6: at this one, and they get pressure on Jaden Daniels
- 12:21Speaker 6: in both the run and pass game. Sam Cosby, not
- 12:23Speaker 6: playing in this one, talked about a right tackle this time.
- 12:25Speaker 6: We're going to talk about right tackle in this game
- 12:28Speaker 6: as well. If you can keep Jade and Daniels in
- 12:31Speaker 6: his rookie mode meaning not being able to see exactly
- 12:34Speaker 6: what the defense is throwing at him, not understanding false
- 12:36Speaker 6: leverages meaning is it man is its own. If you
- 12:39Speaker 6: pressure him to have to throw too fast or he
- 12:41Speaker 6: can't scramble, you're gonna get some pressure on him.
- 12:43Speaker 7: And that's going to be the path forward for the Eagles.
- 12:46Speaker 2: All right, there's the path ahead for all four teams.
- 12:48Speaker 2: So congratulations, you can't win if.
- 12:50Speaker 5: All those things happens.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Time for expert playmakers presented by into it Turbo tax.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Let's do a little this guy or that.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Guy with some star players, Greg who's going to have
- 12:58Speaker 2: more passing touchdowns? On Sunday Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Okay, I'm gonna go Alan. He had the course of
- 13:05Speaker 4: this season. I know he could get it with his legs.
- 13:08Speaker 7: That's what I'm thinking about.
- 13:09Speaker 3: But I think the Chiefs are gonna be ready for that.
- 13:11Speaker 4: And the Chiefs are a great rush defense and they
- 13:14Speaker 4: know that. That's how Josh Allen and the Bills want
- 13:16Speaker 4: to get it done in the red zone. So I
- 13:18Speaker 4: will go Josh Allen. It's been a better passing team overall.
- 13:22Speaker 4: It's been more explosive over the course of the season.
- 13:24Speaker 2: All Right, Cynthy, Who will have more total touchdowns in
- 13:27Speaker 2: this one passing and rushing combined, Jayden Daniels or Jalen Hurts.
- 13:31Speaker 6: Jalen Hurts Here why a touch push is almost to guarantee.
- 13:34Speaker 6: And if looking at where you can exploit this defense
- 13:37Speaker 6: all the secondary has some areas where you could make
- 13:40Speaker 6: a nice mismatch with aj Brown, DeVante Smith, Dallas Goddard.
- 13:43Speaker 6: There's just a lot of different pass catching options in
- 13:45Speaker 6: this one.
- 13:46Speaker 2: All Right, this one's for me. More touchdowns James Cook
- 13:49Speaker 2: or Kareem Hunt. And I'm going on the other side
- 13:51Speaker 2: of where Gregson is because I think Josh Allen will
- 13:53Speaker 2: play hero ball and have rushing touchdowns in this one,
- 13:55Speaker 2: which we'll keep James Cook, who's the all time leader
- 13:59Speaker 2: tied for single season touchdowns in Buffalo. I'm gonna go
- 14:03Speaker 2: with Korea because I think he'll get more opportunities and
- 14:06Speaker 2: we'll get vulted by his quarterback. Let's go back to
- 14:09Speaker 2: Greg here more receiving yards Sunday, Scary Terry or AJ Brown.
- 14:13Speaker 4: I have to go with Scary Terry, who actually isn't
- 14:16Speaker 4: the leading receiver for Washington this offseason, but he's very
- 14:19Speaker 4: close and he's been excellent all season long.
- 14:22Speaker 3: He has such a high target share.
- 14:24Speaker 4: When Jayden Daniels is throwing the ball, he's looking for
- 14:27Speaker 4: number seventeen. It's a great secondary and yet he's made
- 14:31Speaker 4: plays against the Eagles this year. Terry McLaurin, he can
- 14:34Speaker 4: do it all, but he's the contested catch god, so
- 14:37Speaker 4: even if he's not open, he is going to make
- 14:40Speaker 4: that grab against cornerback on the Eagles.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, such a great season. So glad to see him
- 14:46Speaker 2: finally not just a viable quarterback, a really good quarterback
- 14:49Speaker 2: speaking a really good Cynthia is Saquon Barkley good? Well, Okay,
- 14:54Speaker 2: so we've established the Saquon is good, so we're gonna
- 14:56Speaker 2: have to make it a little more difficult for him
- 14:58Speaker 2: in the sky or that guy, Saquon Barkley have more
- 15:01Speaker 2: rushing yards than the entire Washington Commander's team.
- 15:04Speaker 6: You're saying the word rushing yard, yes, not receiving yards
- 15:07Speaker 6: by a running back.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yes.
- 15:08Speaker 7: The answer is Saquon.
- 15:09Speaker 6: Barkley will have more rushing yards than all of the
- 15:12Speaker 6: Washington commanders.
- 15:13Speaker 7: JU say, rude, yeah, super rude.
- 15:15Speaker 4: You got Jayden Daniels involved, We got Austin Ekeler.
- 15:18Speaker 7: Yeah, he's gonna go stand in Ryan Robbinson.
- 15:21Speaker 5: You just add this guy runfield by himself.
- 15:24Speaker 6: It's all about them explosive runs, baby, those ten plus yarders.
- 15:28Speaker 6: Saquon Barkley, he has so many rushes that are at
- 15:31Speaker 6: least ten yards, like more than double the next closest guy.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Man.
- 15:34Speaker 7: I just think he could easily get this.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and he can also wave goodbye like that, or
- 15:38Speaker 2: maybe late in the game he slides down and saves
- 15:41Speaker 2: it for.
- 15:41Speaker 5: One more game in New Orleans.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Speaking on one more last one here, who has more
- 15:45Speaker 2: receptions Sunday Khalil Shakir or Xavier Worthy? I think Xavier
- 15:48Speaker 2: Worthy has a nice game, but in terms of receptions,
- 15:52Speaker 2: I'm going Khalil Shakir mainly because I get the short
- 15:55Speaker 2: passing game involved. The Chiefs has I had an up
- 15:58Speaker 2: and down run defense this year in the playoffs, they've
- 16:01Speaker 2: been solid.
- 16:01Speaker 5: Against the run.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I think that kind of becomes an extension of the
- 16:06Speaker 2: run game, and they get them involved, get a lot
- 16:08Speaker 2: of options and a lot of targets.
- 16:09Speaker 4: For Khalil, he's like Cole Beasley, plus you know his
- 16:12Speaker 4: old buddy Cole Beasley who Josh Allen loves to look
- 16:15Speaker 4: to it.
- 16:16Speaker 3: So it's that plus a little more Patrick.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Would you say it was more yards? Would you have
- 16:20Speaker 6: Worthy or would you have Shakir? I'm not I love
- 16:22Speaker 6: the receptions called, but if it was yards, would you
- 16:24Speaker 6: twitch it?
- 16:24Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 16:24Speaker 2: I feel more likely that Xavier Worthy is going to
- 16:27Speaker 2: pop one, but share.
- 16:28Speaker 6: We're with the yak baby just wait. But I'm with
- 16:31Speaker 6: you Shakira with the number of receptions. But maybe Worthy
- 16:34Speaker 6: with that yak factor, could have more yards.
- 16:36Speaker 2: But both of those guys can do some work with
- 16:38Speaker 2: the ball in their hands. Still can't wait to see
- 16:40Speaker 2: all of these games, and we got to pick them.
- 16:43Speaker 2: We're gonna do that coming up, and Jamee Daniels is
- 16:45Speaker 2: gonna be the first rookie starting quarterback maybe to make
- 16:48Speaker 2: a Super Bowl. We're diving in to who the different
- 16:50Speaker 2: difference makers are going to be for the Commanders and Eagles.
- 16:53Speaker 2: You're watching game debut presented by Caesar Sports get.
- 17:06Speaker 5: A matchup between teams and the division. So let's look
- 17:08Speaker 5: back at both times.
- 17:09Speaker 2: The Eagles played the Commanders, the first place in the
- 17:11Speaker 2: East on the line in week eleven, third and three
- 17:14Speaker 2: from the twenty three there no Saquon Barkley into the
- 17:17Speaker 2: end zone. The Eagles would win twenty six to eighteen.
- 17:20Speaker 2: They would stay in first place in the East, and
- 17:22Speaker 2: we'd skip ahead to Week sixteen. The Eagles we're doing
- 17:25Speaker 2: pretty well first quarter already leading seven to nothing. Second
- 17:28Speaker 2: in twenty Hurts keeping it himself on a design run
- 17:31Speaker 2: for thirteen yards. Problem is he got his head smashed
- 17:34Speaker 2: into the ground trying to convince the official he was okay.
- 17:37Speaker 5: He was not.
- 17:38Speaker 2: He would miss not just the rest of this game,
- 17:40Speaker 2: but another game after that as he gets the hit
- 17:43Speaker 2: to the head and so into the game would not
- 17:46Speaker 2: come Jalen Hurts. They would go to the backup quarterback.
- 17:50Speaker 2: But let's not talk about that. Let's talk about Jaden Daniels.
- 17:53Speaker 5: He hits Terry McLaurin there.
- 17:55Speaker 2: To pick up ten yards with the thirty five yard
- 17:57Speaker 2: line trailing thirty three to twenty eight, same score. Later
- 18:01Speaker 2: on less than a minute and six, Jayden keeping it
- 18:03Speaker 2: in mn himself first and ten. After that big twelve
- 18:08Speaker 2: yard game, he led the team in rushing yards for
- 18:10Speaker 2: the second straight week. Five plays later, ten seconds going
- 18:12Speaker 2: no touchdown to Jamison Crowder, Brahm Weinstein went now.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Stouch out watching time.
- 18:18Speaker 2: The Commanders came back to win it thirty six to
- 18:20Speaker 2: thirty three after five turnovers. And so now we're all
- 18:23Speaker 2: set for round three of this matchup between the Commanders
- 18:26Speaker 2: and the Eagles. The stakes are as high as ever.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Let's talk some players to watch. Who do we watch
- 18:31Speaker 2: on offense, Cynthia.
- 18:32Speaker 6: I'm going with the easy one here, and that's Jaden Daniels.
- 18:35Speaker 6: Why well, he's just setting rookie records left and right.
- 18:39Speaker 6: One of them that I really think is interesting in
- 18:41Speaker 6: this matchup is how well he's done against pressure against
- 18:45Speaker 6: the blitz stones are necessarily the same thing what we've
- 18:49Speaker 6: seen from him in his ability to scramble, he makes
- 18:51Speaker 6: great decisions, he keeps his head about him. In fact,
- 18:55Speaker 6: he might not even know how big of a moment
- 18:57Speaker 6: this is. I don't even know if he's had time
- 18:59Speaker 6: to process it, right. He hasn't had those years in
- 19:01Speaker 6: the league thinking about, hey, if I could just make
- 19:03Speaker 6: it to the NFL Championship game just this once, right,
- 19:06Speaker 6: So perhaps that's something that will work well and work
- 19:09Speaker 6: in his favor, especially because it's against a familiar opponent.
- 19:12Speaker 6: So I'm really interested to see if the moment is
- 19:14Speaker 6: too big, or if they can kind of center him
- 19:17Speaker 6: and keep him doing the things we've been seeing him
- 19:18Speaker 6: do all season long.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Well, you said you're going for obvious themes. We have
- 19:22Speaker 4: to talk about Saquon Barkley. It's my offensive player to watch.
- 19:26Speaker 4: And I'm gonna let you in on a little secret,
- 19:28Speaker 4: oh that the mainstream media doesn't want. The success rate
- 19:32Speaker 4: for the Eagles rushing attack hasn't been that great for
- 19:35Speaker 4: the last month. It really started in that Commander's game,
- 19:37Speaker 4: if you remember, had some big runs early and everyone said, oh,
- 19:41Speaker 4: Jalen hurts left and then it didn't work that well.
- 19:43Speaker 4: And that's fine, but they're blocking wasn't great for him,
- 19:46Speaker 4: And if you look at the success rate really over
- 19:49Speaker 4: his last four games, and this even includes the playoff game,
- 19:52Speaker 4: it's down significantly from where it was the rest of
- 19:55Speaker 4: the season. Now they're hitting the explosives and if he
- 19:57Speaker 4: goes for seventy or eighty, it doesn't really matter. But
- 20:00Speaker 4: I do think it's interesting against a rush defense that's
- 20:03Speaker 4: struggle all season if the Commanders can prevent the fours,
- 20:07Speaker 4: the fives, the six that set up easy situations to
- 20:11Speaker 4: pass on third down, and then they will have a
- 20:14Speaker 4: chance in this game. And for the last few weeks,
- 20:17Speaker 4: whether it's the Rams or even the Commanders defense, for
- 20:19Speaker 4: much of that game, they actually have been stopping Saquan
- 20:22Speaker 4: for one yard games. Two yard games usually the dan
- 20:25Speaker 4: breaks because he's one of the best players of all time,
- 20:27Speaker 4: But that's the best you can hope for, is just
- 20:29Speaker 4: stopping him getting one in two yard games throughout the
- 20:32Speaker 4: courts of the game.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's important to be consistent because when you're not,
- 20:35Speaker 2: it doesn't work out. And one thing was consistent early
- 20:37Speaker 2: on this season, zach Ertz was doing basically nothing. But
- 20:40Speaker 2: then he got to Philadelphia, looked across the sideline, and
- 20:43Speaker 2: he saw Nick Sirianni and that has pushed zach Ertz
- 20:47Speaker 2: to score seven touchdowns since then, all inspired by spite.
- 20:51Speaker 2: They walks off the field, gets it an altercation with
- 20:54Speaker 2: the head coach of the Eagles, a franchise that he's
- 20:56Speaker 2: scored a game winning touchdown in the Super Bowl four
- 20:59Speaker 2: and since then he's been on fire. He had five
- 21:02Speaker 2: targets against the Lions.
- 21:03Speaker 5: You call five of them.
- 21:04Speaker 2: He had a touchdown in that game. And I think
- 21:08Speaker 2: you gotta watch him, especially all third downs.
- 21:10Speaker 5: Jane.
- 21:11Speaker 2: This is not a meme like Jane Daniels is trusting
- 21:13Speaker 2: his tight end and he's making plays. So yeah, I
- 21:16Speaker 2: think you should watch for zach Ertz in this matchup.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Let's switch over to the defenses. Now, who do you
- 21:21Speaker 2: have your eye.
- 21:21Speaker 7: On, Cynthia Frankie Louvu?
- 21:24Speaker 6: Why because all quarterbacks should have their eye on him,
- 21:26Speaker 6: but specifically Jalen Hurts. Why because of his eight sacks
- 21:30Speaker 6: It just came on twenty nine pressures. That thirty one
- 21:33Speaker 6: percent pressure to sack ratio or sack to pressure ratio,
- 21:36Speaker 6: excuse me, is the second highest in the National Football League.
- 21:39Speaker 6: Frankie Louv has been a big reason why this defense
- 21:42Speaker 6: has actually had a nice up into the right trajectory
- 21:44Speaker 6: this season. He just keeps playing better and better. This
- 21:47Speaker 6: is a very dan Quinn like guy. It matches him
- 21:51Speaker 6: very very well. I think this will be one to
- 21:53Speaker 6: watch in this matchup.
- 21:55Speaker 4: I am also going to talk about a Commander's player
- 21:57Speaker 4: who's acquired in a trade. It was Marshawn Lattimore and
- 22:01Speaker 4: the last thing you might remember about him was Mike
- 22:03Speaker 4: Evans really getting the better of him in the wildcardown.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Yet last week you didn't see a lot of them
- 22:08Speaker 4: on the screen, and you mentioned. Our friend Bram Weinstein,
- 22:12Speaker 4: who who covers the Washington Commanders, came out on the
- 22:15Speaker 4: NFL Daily podcast and he thought Latimore had his best
- 22:18Speaker 4: game as a Commander by far. I decided to go
- 22:20Speaker 4: back and looked at some of the numbers, watch some
- 22:22Speaker 4: of the tape, and he was moving well and seemed
- 22:25Speaker 4: to be back in the flow. He was coming off
- 22:27Speaker 4: of a hamstring injury. He seems to be fully healthy,
- 22:30Speaker 4: and this is the matchup that they got him.
- 22:33Speaker 3: For AJ Brown in a big spot.
- 22:35Speaker 4: AJ Brown has haunted this Commander's team over the last
- 22:38Speaker 4: few years. Latimore has the physicality to try to match
- 22:42Speaker 4: him in the call to keep an eye on Latimore.
- 22:44Speaker 3: That is the matchup to watch.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Yeah, regardless, it could be a tough matchup, but he
- 22:48Speaker 2: gives the defense so many more options to try how
- 22:50Speaker 2: to take that matchup one on one. I will also
- 22:52Speaker 2: take a former Saint who hates Dennis Allen and go
- 22:55Speaker 2: with CJ. Gardner Johnson because when they brought Gardner Johnson back,
- 22:59Speaker 2: they knew that they needed help. They had to make
- 23:01Speaker 2: changes in the secondary. Then they go and draft two
- 23:04Speaker 2: very good rookies and this defense has been spectacular, especially
- 23:08Speaker 2: late in the season. They lost to the Commanders, not
- 23:11Speaker 2: just happening because Jalen Hurts left the game, but.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Gardner Johnson got rant from that game late.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I think it would be a lot tougher to score
- 23:18Speaker 2: that touchdown with less than ten seconds to go, if
- 23:20Speaker 2: CJGJ had remained in the game, So he would be
- 23:23Speaker 2: my defensive player to one.
- 23:24Speaker 4: I mean, poor DA might be a huge game deviut fan.
- 23:27Speaker 4: He's just turning on the program and just gets a
- 23:30Speaker 4: wild straight from Patrick.
- 23:31Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 23:32Speaker 6: I was gonna ask how many former Stains payers like DA,
- 23:34Speaker 6: but you are current stray.
- 23:37Speaker 5: We go from talking about Marshall Ladlewoord CJ. Gardner Johnson.
- 23:40Speaker 5: It felt like the obvious segue to make.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Let's go to over under as we get to the
- 23:44Speaker 2: point total for the Commanders and Eagles. Right now, it's
- 23:47Speaker 2: at forty seven and a half and a lot like
- 23:50Speaker 2: the AFC game.
- 23:51Speaker 5: I like the over here.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I've got fifty two points, which next forty seven feel
- 23:55Speaker 2: like not at all a problem.
- 23:57Speaker 5: But we've seen this.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Washington Commander's team go up and down the field against everybody.
- 24:01Speaker 2: This Eagles defense is good. I don't think they're gonna
- 24:03Speaker 2: hold him to that much. And of course I believe
- 24:05Speaker 2: the Eagles can score as well. So I got the open.
- 24:07Speaker 3: This one was close for me.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I have it at forty nine, but that is over
- 24:11Speaker 4: so we're gonna stay consistent. I don't think the passing
- 24:14Speaker 4: games will go as crazy, so it's more of a
- 24:16Speaker 4: running game for both teams. But you think about the
- 24:19Speaker 4: Eagles secondary, you think about the struggles the Eagles passing
- 24:22Speaker 4: attack has had on offense, and I think it'll be close.
- 24:25Speaker 3: But right at the very.
- 24:26Speaker 4: End, you're sweating it out and it's a last minute
- 24:29Speaker 4: field goal to get you over.
- 24:30Speaker 6: Well, I have a fifty point game, so that too,
- 24:33Speaker 6: is over. We can we're a meme of overs, an
- 24:35Speaker 6: over meme. In fact, I'm looking at this one and
- 24:38Speaker 6: I think that what we have here is a Cliff
- 24:40Speaker 6: Kingsbury situation where he's done a good job of looking
- 24:43Speaker 6: at past teams that have had success against the teams
- 24:45Speaker 6: he plays and kind of just taking those ways and
- 24:48Speaker 6: making it happen for his team. And then we know
- 24:50Speaker 6: Saquan is at least going to have one touchdown, So
- 24:52Speaker 6: there we go on that side too.
- 24:54Speaker 3: James and Bills from the AFC Championship.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Let's look back at when they played back in week eleven,
- 24:58Speaker 2: the quarterbacks greeting each other, acknowledging both of their prowesses prowlysses.
- 25:04Speaker 2: You can see the prowess of Patrick Mahomes here rolling
- 25:06Speaker 2: to his right, hitting Noah Gray in the back of
- 25:09Speaker 2: the end zone to cut into that lead with seven
- 25:12Speaker 2: minutes a round, seven minutes to go on the ball game.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Let's fast forward to two minutes and thirty seconds. Mahomes
- 25:17Speaker 2: waiting for a chance to get the ball back. Team
- 25:18Speaker 2: mc dumma says, hey, Josh pump fake to TDD Johnson
- 25:22Speaker 2: and then just go full nuclear destructive quarterback fabricated in
- 25:27Speaker 2: a lab mode twenty six yard touchdown run, and that
- 25:30Speaker 2: would do it. The Kansas City Chiefs had their first
- 25:33Speaker 2: loss of the season. The Buffalo Bills won their sixth straight.
- 25:36Speaker 2: The Chiefs fell to nine to one. They would only
- 25:38Speaker 2: lose one more game, which was an asterisk because they
- 25:40Speaker 2: weren't trying. And now these two teams are back at it.
- 25:43Speaker 2: It's time for Seas the Season presented by the Caesar Sportsbook.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Looking at the first touchdown score, odds, yes, the guy
- 25:49Speaker 2: we just saw going into the end zone Josh Allen,
- 25:51Speaker 2: then James Cook, and then a host of Chiefs led
- 25:54Speaker 2: by Travis Kelcey. So, now, folks, some moment you've all
- 25:58Speaker 2: been waiting for. Time for us to make our picks
- 26:00Speaker 2: in the ANFC Championship game between the Bills and the Chiefs. Well,
- 26:03Speaker 2: Josh Allen, Alfalo finally get past the Bills that did
- 26:06Speaker 2: to the Super Bowl, get past the Chiefs, or will
- 26:09Speaker 2: Casey's quest for three peet continue?
- 26:11Speaker 5: Cynthia, what happens?
- 26:12Speaker 6: I have the Kansas City Chiefs twenty five to twenty four.
- 26:16Speaker 6: This is about as close as they come.
- 26:19Speaker 7: When I'm looking at this matchup.
- 26:20Speaker 6: I'm looking at the defense for the Bills, because both
- 26:22Speaker 6: quarterbacks have been playing really, really well. Both quarterbacks are
- 26:25Speaker 6: absolute first Pellett Hall of Famers. But they get to
- 26:28Speaker 6: play each other's defenses, right, They don't have to play
- 26:30Speaker 6: Actually that's true other hey, you know, hey, but I'm
- 26:33Speaker 6: looking at what Patrick Mahomes has been able to do
- 26:35Speaker 6: in the playoffs and the playoffs, specifically against the Bills.
- 26:38Speaker 6: He's undefeated against the Bills when he and Josh Allen
- 26:41Speaker 6: have matched up in the postseason, obviously not in the
- 26:44Speaker 6: regular season. When I'm looking at what could happen in
- 26:47Speaker 6: this one, though, I'm worried about those missing potential pieces.
- 26:50Speaker 6: I haven't seen Taylor Rap yet, I have not seen
- 26:53Speaker 6: Christian Benford.
- 26:54Speaker 7: That is a problemo when you.
- 26:55Speaker 6: Have eighty seven and fifteen and also Xavier Worthy and
- 26:59Speaker 6: also all the other people who could potentially have even
- 27:01Speaker 6: just one catch to make it a big difference in
- 27:04Speaker 6: the schemes. So by the slimmest of margins nam Patrick
- 27:07Speaker 6: Mahomes returning.
- 27:09Speaker 7: To try to win his third Super Bowl in a row.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Look at old Cynthia.
- 27:13Speaker 4: You know, all right, I'm just saying you're being sneaky
- 27:16Speaker 4: here one point win with a one and a half.
- 27:18Speaker 3: She's rid of that.
- 27:19Speaker 6: Caught me a coward earlier, So the models being a coward.
- 27:22Speaker 7: I'm not trying to be a coward. It's just what
- 27:24Speaker 7: the model does.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I'm going to be nice to the model. Eventually the
- 27:27Speaker 2: model will consume all of us. I also have a
- 27:30Speaker 2: Chiefs win. Mine is by significantly more points relatively to
- 27:33Speaker 2: Cynthia twenty nine to twenty three, because I saw something.
- 27:37Speaker 2: We look back and saw those Chiefs Bills postseason highlights.
- 27:41Speaker 5: He saw Tyreek Hill running into the end zone by himself.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I'm not making this comparison, but I saw something with
- 27:47Speaker 2: Xavier Worthy against the Houston Texans and the trust that
- 27:50Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes had for him.
- 27:52Speaker 5: Cynthia mentioned the injuries.
- 27:53Speaker 2: In the secondary for the Buffalo Bills, who do have
- 27:56Speaker 2: kind of a problem in dealing with speed. Xavier Worthy,
- 27:59Speaker 2: of course has it, and I've seen this maturation of
- 28:02Speaker 2: Xavier Worthy in the offense.
- 28:04Speaker 5: Also, Andy Reid's perception of how.
- 28:07Speaker 2: To utilize Xavier Worthy makes me believe that the Chiefs,
- 28:10Speaker 2: yes it's boring, are going right back to the super Bowl.
- 28:13Speaker 6: He used the word mature machurition better than old.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Okay saying, no one ever accused me of being mature,
- 28:21Speaker 4: but I am definitely old.
- 28:22Speaker 3: And I've been around long enough.
- 28:24Speaker 4: To see this Bills team knocking on the door just
- 28:27Speaker 4: over and over, and sometimes in sports, it's your time
- 28:31Speaker 4: to break through. This is the Buffalo Bills time. Thirty
- 28:34Speaker 4: two to thirty.
- 28:35Speaker 3: They get it done.
- 28:36Speaker 4: It's not just because I picked them before the season
- 28:39Speaker 4: to win the Super Bowl, but.
- 28:40Speaker 3: That doesn't hurt. Let's just scrag it up all the
- 28:42Speaker 3: way to New Orleans.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Let's go back through these games, especially this one in
- 28:47Speaker 4: the Divisional round, where Josh Allen and this offense was
- 28:50Speaker 4: playing at a level they were ready to go win
- 28:52Speaker 4: a super Bowl. And yet I say this, this is
- 28:55Speaker 4: the best offense the Bills have ever had. It's the
- 28:58Speaker 4: most points they've ever scored in this stretch. They have
- 29:01Speaker 4: made it to the Divisional round or further for five
- 29:05Speaker 4: straight years. They've been in the top five of point
- 29:07Speaker 4: differential for five straight years, averaging twelve wins a year
- 29:12Speaker 4: throughout this time. And yet this is the best team,
- 29:14Speaker 4: the best position team to beat the Chiefs because they're
- 29:17Speaker 4: like the Chiefs, they can win any type of game.
- 29:19Speaker 4: They're diverse, they can run, they can beat you any
- 29:21Speaker 4: sort of way, and they don't make mistakes on either
- 29:24Speaker 4: side of the ball. I think their coaches are better.
- 29:26Speaker 4: I think the quarterback's better. It's their time. Let's go Bills,
- 29:29Speaker 4: all right, Grady's got the Bills, folks firing up.
- 29:32Speaker 2: That was season season presented by Caesar Sportsbook Pat just
- 29:35Speaker 2: one dollar double booster you next ten bets up to
- 29:38Speaker 2: twenty five dollars.
- 29:39Speaker 5: Terms and conditions do apply. Must be twenty one plus. Folks.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Don't miss any of the action this weekend with the
- 29:47Speaker 2: NFL Plus stream the entire NFL postseason, including every playoff.
- 29:51Speaker 5: Game and Super Bowl fifty nine live on mobile.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Subscription required for NFL Plus visit plus dot NFL dot
- 29:57Speaker 2: com in order to acquire the terms. It's time for
- 30:01Speaker 2: more or less, as we will acquire some foam fingers
- 30:05Speaker 2: and get some player props for this game. Cynthia will
- 30:07Speaker 2: Josh Allen have more or less than two hundred and
- 30:10Speaker 2: seventy seven total yards.
- 30:12Speaker 7: Total yards total more?
- 30:14Speaker 6: We told all of us agreed that it's more, because
- 30:16Speaker 6: you know, we just wanted to come out these less people,
- 30:18Speaker 6: but that would follow that more yards equals more points
- 30:22Speaker 6: in this game.
- 30:23Speaker 7: I think you're.
- 30:24Speaker 6: Going to have to see Josh Allen use his.
- 30:26Speaker 7: Legs quite a bit. You actually do.
- 30:28Speaker 6: Typically see him do it against the Chiefs more often
- 30:30Speaker 6: and in the postseason. So two trends here align and
- 30:33Speaker 6: alongside some passing yards as well.
- 30:35Speaker 2: So more another quarterback also playing in this game, Greg
- 30:39Speaker 2: tends to kind of go on running journeys in the postseason,
- 30:42Speaker 2: even on gimpie legs. How many rushing yards, let's go
- 30:46Speaker 2: more or less? Twenty two and a half rushing yards?
- 30:49Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes twenty five and a half rushing yard.
- 30:52Speaker 3: I'm going to go less.
- 30:53Speaker 4: It's partly based on what I saw a week ago
- 30:55Speaker 4: against the Texans. They did such a good job not
- 30:58Speaker 4: going past Mahomes, some of the defensive tackles almost waiting
- 31:02Speaker 4: for him to scramble. This was his one success scramble
- 31:05Speaker 4: here in the regular season, but last week it was
- 31:07Speaker 4: one of his worst games.
- 31:08Speaker 3: As a scrambler.
- 31:09Speaker 4: And I just think the Bills have lost in the
- 31:10Speaker 4: same sort of wag him home so many times. Aren't
- 31:13Speaker 4: they sick of it? Won't they just have a good
- 31:15Speaker 4: defensive game plan to not let Mahomes scramble, because you
- 31:19Speaker 4: know when he scrambles, it's only when he absolutely needs
- 31:22Speaker 4: to rip your heart out and they're sick of it.
- 31:24Speaker 3: This is not the time.
- 31:25Speaker 6: Do you know how many defenses would love to stop
- 31:27Speaker 6: Patrick Bults.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I know, but the technical of that did it. They
- 31:30Speaker 3: had the blueprint. Just follow what they did.
- 31:32Speaker 2: It reminds me that Lou Williams pres conference where they
- 31:34Speaker 2: couldn't stop Kevin Durant and it's like, hey, I promise
- 31:36Speaker 2: we tried.
- 31:38Speaker 5: That was the goal.
- 31:39Speaker 7: The problem is Patrick Mary. We're just gonna let him.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Going up against Travis Kelsey also something you want to try.
- 31:46Speaker 2: At sixty eight and a half receiving yards as number
- 31:48Speaker 2: Cynthia outlined, fourteen consecutive playoff games he has gone above
- 31:54Speaker 2: the number.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna go more, and I.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Feel like sixty eight feels easy. I'm thinking up up
- 32:01Speaker 2: into the seventies or eighties. More for Travis Kelce, which
- 32:05Speaker 2: will also mean some shots of his girlfriend as well
- 32:08Speaker 2: in THEFC champions.
- 32:09Speaker 7: More, more shots of them.
- 32:11Speaker 5: More, We'll get that number on.
- 32:13Speaker 2: No, just kidding, all right, when we come back, we're
- 32:15Speaker 2: making our picks any NFC commanders or Eagles, how worried.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Should Eagles fans be about Jalen hurts his knee and
- 32:22Speaker 2: as anyone bold enough to take Jaden's squad one soul is,
- 32:27Speaker 2: we'll tell you who. After this quick break, it's time
- 32:36Speaker 2: for home field advantage presented by Zillow Eagles and Commanders
- 32:39Speaker 2: at the Link. Philly has lost only one game at
- 32:42Speaker 2: home all season, but Jayden Daniels has proven to be special.
- 32:46Speaker 5: Who wins the football.
- 32:47Speaker 6: Games in Philadelphia, but only by four points?
- 32:50Speaker 7: That guy Saquon Barkley.
- 32:52Speaker 6: You're right, the mainstream media does want to say that
- 32:54Speaker 6: Saquan's just the.
- 32:55Speaker 7: King and there's no asterisk there.
- 32:57Speaker 6: However, it's all about those elusive and explosive runs and
- 33:01Speaker 6: this is where he really succeeds.
- 33:03Speaker 7: It only takes one to bust for a touchdown.
- 33:06Speaker 6: I hated it twice against the Rams last week, and
- 33:08Speaker 6: it was cold, cold, cold there. From looking at the
- 33:11Speaker 6: opportunity against Washington. Yes, they're good at not forcing missed
- 33:15Speaker 6: tackles or not missing tackles. The problem is is you
- 33:17Speaker 6: have to be close enough for that metric to even count.
- 33:20Speaker 7: I don't know if they're going.
- 33:22Speaker 6: To be close enough to get after this guy. Saquon
- 33:24Speaker 6: Barkley knows what's at stake. Saquon Barkley has been brought
- 33:27Speaker 6: to this team specifically to get them to the big game,
- 33:30Speaker 6: and I think that this is where he absolutely shines.
- 33:33Speaker 7: But again, just four points. I don't think it's a
- 33:35Speaker 7: runaway victory.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I am going to cheat and look at Cynthia's paper
- 33:38Speaker 2: and also get a four point Eagles win twenty eight
- 33:41Speaker 2: to twenty four in this one. Because also a very
- 33:45Speaker 2: good football player who hasn't forgotten how to play football
- 33:47Speaker 2: is Aj Brown. I still have faith in this Eagles
- 33:50Speaker 2: passing game. And Greg mentioned historically the success that he
- 33:54Speaker 2: has had against this team.
- 33:56Speaker 5: There is scoring a touchdown.
- 33:58Speaker 2: We've had pass interference calls against Marshawn Lattimore earlier on
- 34:03Speaker 2: in this season. He also had to drop last week
- 34:06Speaker 2: against the Rams that could have necessarily changed that game.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I don't think you can play defense against Aj Brown,
- 34:11Speaker 2: saying well, I hope maybe he drops the ball. I
- 34:13Speaker 2: think he makes the plays. I think Davante and Dallas
- 34:17Speaker 2: Goddard make plays. When those three are around. It's very
- 34:20Speaker 2: tough to beat this team with their starting quarterback. Greg,
- 34:22Speaker 2: I've got a birds fly into the Super Bowl.
- 34:25Speaker 5: In New York.
- 34:25Speaker 4: So we all agree on this one that the Commanders
- 34:29Speaker 4: will cover that six points and if we're gonna have
- 34:32Speaker 4: it be close. I went back and forth all week.
- 34:34Speaker 4: At first I thought Eagles are just more talented. Yeah,
- 34:37Speaker 4: if I don't know who's gonna win. But no, let's
- 34:39Speaker 4: trust scrag it up. Let's take the Commanders to win
- 34:42Speaker 4: this game.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Because if you look at.
- 34:44Speaker 4: These two coaching staffs, everyone agrees, you know that this
- 34:48Speaker 4: is going.
- 34:48Speaker 3: To be close.
- 34:49Speaker 4: Which coaching staff do you trust making smart decisions? Which
- 34:52Speaker 4: quarterback do you trust making smart decisions in a close
- 34:56Speaker 4: game in the fourth quarter? Is it Nick Sirianni just
- 34:59Speaker 4: letting the clock run out at the end of the
- 35:01Speaker 4: first half last week or making some crazy play are
- 35:04Speaker 4: becoming the main character? Is it Jalen Hurts making quick
- 35:07Speaker 4: decisions in the biggest of moments, Or is.
- 35:10Speaker 3: It Dan Quinn on fourth downs?
- 35:13Speaker 4: He's taking Doug Peterson's old lead with Howie Roseman back
- 35:17Speaker 4: in the day on the Eagles and they're always going
- 35:19Speaker 4: for fourth down and they're always getting it. Who's calmer
- 35:22Speaker 4: under pressure? It's Jayden Daniels At quarterbacks. Sometimes it's not
- 35:25Speaker 4: just about the depth charts. Obviously the Eagles are more talented,
- 35:29Speaker 4: but there is something really special about this Commander's team.
- 35:32Speaker 4: I think they're going to be playing loose. I think
- 35:33Speaker 4: they're gonna be ready to win, and I think they
- 35:35Speaker 4: win a tight one.
- 35:36Speaker 2: See there, It is a little insight. As our teams
- 35:39Speaker 2: were eliminated last week. Greg still believes in magic. Cynthia
- 35:42Speaker 2: and I are doubtful about the existence of magic right
- 35:45Speaker 2: about now. Let's look through the player props in the
- 35:47Speaker 2: conference championships. In total Jane Daniels going over two hundred
- 35:52Speaker 2: and seventy eight to total yards, Sakwon Barkley one hundred
- 35:54Speaker 2: and twenty eight and a half, Terry looking at a
- 35:56Speaker 2: slim number sixty four and a half receiving yards, Josh
- 35:59Speaker 2: Allen one and a half passing touchdowns of Patrick Mahomes
- 36:01Speaker 2: with two hundred and fifty two and a half passards.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Let's take a look at all of the games this weekend.
- 36:09Speaker 2: When it comes for who we think will pass for
- 36:11Speaker 2: the most yards, we're all going with different guys. Cynthia,
- 36:14Speaker 2: you think it's a certain quarterback.
- 36:16Speaker 5: In Kansas City.
- 36:17Speaker 6: Yeah, there's the magic there with Patrick Mahomes and third down,
- 36:21Speaker 6: But Also, they have this formula. You talk about Xavier Worthy,
- 36:24Speaker 6: what are they doing differently with him?
- 36:25Speaker 7: Well, they're throwing him shorter passes.
- 36:27Speaker 6: This average depth of target has been basically cut in half.
- 36:29Speaker 6: And you know what still counts, yack baby, that counts
- 36:33Speaker 6: for Patrick Mahomes. So between Worthy, between Hollywood, between eighty seven,
- 36:37Speaker 6: between all the different pieces. DeAndre Hopkins, I'm with you
- 36:40Speaker 6: on that as well. I just think that this is
- 36:42Speaker 6: more of a pass heavy offense, and that's why I
- 36:44Speaker 6: think he has the most.
- 36:46Speaker 7: Also, I like sitting like this now.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Who knew.
- 36:48Speaker 6: I've just been in this chair all season long, and
- 36:50Speaker 6: now I'm just like, Oh, this is more comfortable.
- 36:51Speaker 7: It's better.
- 36:52Speaker 3: I like me some Josh Allen this week.
- 36:53Speaker 4: I mean to me, he's been the most consistent just
- 36:55Speaker 4: passer of these three throughout the course of the season.
- 36:57Speaker 3: So I've taken out.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Yeah, mine is just pure game script. I think the
- 37:01Speaker 2: Commanders get behind and Jaden's gonna have to be thrown
- 37:03Speaker 2: a whole lot.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Let's move on to who we think will have the.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Most receiving yards this weekend.
- 37:07Speaker 5: Greg, You're going off the menu.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I am.
- 37:09Speaker 4: I'm going Dammy Brown, I put up the TAPO the
- 37:12Speaker 4: last couple of weeks, and you watch what Dammy Brown
- 37:15Speaker 4: has been doing where he's led the Washington Commanders in
- 37:18Speaker 4: receiving yards this season.
- 37:19Speaker 3: And it's not just like one game. He pops up.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Two games in a row where he's very steady, and
- 37:23Speaker 4: you see the type of routes that he's running.
- 37:26Speaker 7: Brian Branch caught him from behind, though.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Brian Branch is amazing. That catch was amazing, that throw
- 37:33Speaker 4: was amazing. You have him work in the outside, but
- 37:35Speaker 4: he can also do the crossers. He can also beat
- 37:37Speaker 4: you with some yak and I don't think it's fluky,
- 37:40Speaker 4: a lot of suddenness when you watch his routes coming
- 37:43Speaker 4: in and out of breaks. Maybe sometimes it's the guy
- 37:45Speaker 4: that you don't see coming Dammy Brown.
- 37:48Speaker 2: All right, some Dammy Brown love. Let's flip over to
- 37:51Speaker 2: the defense. Who's gonna have the most sacks this weekend?
- 37:55Speaker 2: We all picked different guys, but I'm going with the
- 37:57Speaker 2: guy who I'm trying to get retroactively give the Super
- 38:00Speaker 2: Bowl MVP too, and that is Chris Jones who most
- 38:04Speaker 2: it's gonna be easier to rush the passer from the edge.
- 38:07Speaker 2: We'll see how much Spags allows him to do that,
- 38:09Speaker 2: or if he's just gonna soak up attention on the interior.
- 38:12Speaker 2: But wherever he plays, he makes plays. I've got Chris
- 38:15Speaker 2: Jones the most sexes.
- 38:16Speaker 6: I picked George kr Loft is because he saw three
- 38:18Speaker 6: sacks last week because of all the attention that we're
- 38:20Speaker 6: given to Chris Jones.
- 38:22Speaker 7: So I kind of drafted off yours. But whatever, I'm
- 38:24Speaker 7: still taking it.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and I Patrick said, I believe in magic.
- 38:28Speaker 3: I mean I believe in magic.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Johnson, He's gonna be very worried about this Jalen Carter match.
- 38:34Speaker 4: There it is because it's it might take magic to
- 38:37Speaker 4: stop this man, Jalen Carter against a backup without Sam
- 38:41Speaker 4: Cosmy out there. That is the matchup that worries me
- 38:43Speaker 4: the most as someone who had just picked the.
- 38:45Speaker 5: Commander's time for write this down.
- 38:47Speaker 2: As we get some predictions for Championship Sunday, why don't
- 38:49Speaker 2: we have the man who is on fire right now
- 38:51Speaker 2: and write this down, Greg Rosendal.
- 38:53Speaker 4: I'm straight right, this downs eight out of nine, and
- 38:56Speaker 4: so I'm doubling down and I'm making it even harder
- 38:58Speaker 4: on myself.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Jayden Daniels goes over.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Fifty five and a half rushing yards. I think he's
- 39:02Speaker 4: gonna need to run to win. And then he just
- 39:05Speaker 4: pair that with my commander's victory. So it's not even
- 39:09Speaker 4: covering the six points. It's just as flat out commanders win.
- 39:12Speaker 4: You smash them together. We're rolling the dice and we're
- 39:16Speaker 4: going in New Orleans with it.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 39:18Speaker 7: What's the expression.
- 39:19Speaker 6: It's like pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered. I
- 39:22Speaker 6: think you're going for the slaughter. I'm gonna stay with
- 39:25Speaker 6: the commanders, but I'm going with Austin Eckler and his receiving.
- 39:28Speaker 7: Yard number over twenty three and a half. That could
- 39:31Speaker 7: happen in the first quarter. I am fine taking this one.
- 39:34Speaker 7: I love this opportunity.
- 39:35Speaker 6: If you get that Jalen Carter pressure, if you get
- 39:37Speaker 6: pressure from Zach Bond, anywhere where is he going to look, Well,
- 39:41Speaker 6: it's going to be Austin Eckler and those receiving yards.
- 39:44Speaker 7: Austin Eckler is good for them, for sure.
- 39:46Speaker 4: That's one catch him just rolling down the sidelines and
- 39:49Speaker 4: bowling over people.
- 39:50Speaker 2: And we also have talked about Saquon Barkley's ability to
- 39:53Speaker 2: make long plays in the run game. He can also
- 39:56Speaker 2: do it in the past game, which is why I
- 39:57Speaker 2: look at Jalen Hurts's total being at one hundred and
- 40:00Speaker 2: eighty one and a half passing yards and.
- 40:02Speaker 5: I think he's gonna go north of.
- 40:03Speaker 2: That number because we saw Mikay Beckton get called for
- 40:06Speaker 2: that illegal man downfield and that could have been a
- 40:09Speaker 2: big game in the screen game. This team can really
- 40:11Speaker 2: make is in the pass the game. They just haven't
- 40:13Speaker 2: really needed to. I think they need to this week,
- 40:15Speaker 2: and I think he goes over one eighty one and
- 40:17Speaker 2: a half.
- 40:17Speaker 7: We all picked the NFC game. That's very funny, Okay,
- 40:21Speaker 7: so we need to do one an.
- 40:22Speaker 5: Give us a free one, free one.
- 40:24Speaker 6: We're going with a Josh Allen rushing touch I know
- 40:26Speaker 6: he didn't say so, but he also that that's hogwash.
- 40:29Speaker 6: We're gonna go with Josh Allen rushing touchdown.
- 40:32Speaker 3: I mean, disrespectful. I'm the king.
- 40:34Speaker 5: You called me old.
- 40:37Speaker 7: Patrick is the king of it. Patrick has the this year.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Enjoy the games, folks. We have fed pigs, we have
- 40:44Speaker 2: slaughtered them, we.
- 40:45Speaker 6: Have washed them, and now I'm old Joy.
- 40:48Speaker 7: Need an app, I need an app. I'm old.
