- 0:02It's a Monday and the rollercoaster ride
- 0:04has begun.
- 0:27From the gym to the screen, yeah,
- 0:29we cover it all.
- 0:30Midday motivation every time you press
- 0:32call.
- 0:33Lunch with the Clydesdale.
- 0:35Cowboy bring the heat.
- 0:37Crossfit, boobies, music on repeat.
- 0:41Half hour hustle, yeah,
- 0:42we building that brand.
- 0:43Grab a plate, tune in now,
- 0:45you part of the fam.
- 0:51It's lunch time.
- 0:56What's going on, everybody?
- 1:00I just had my hand on my desk.
- 1:03Ow.
- 1:04That is starting the show with a bang.
- 1:07I'm trying not to because the whole thing
- 1:09with like, you know,
- 1:10don't drop any F-bombs within the first
- 1:11six, eight minutes or whatnot.
- 1:13I'm trying to be better about that.
- 1:16And then you bang your hand off your
- 1:18desk.
- 1:19Quickly, too.
- 1:19Like it was flying through.
- 1:22Yeah.
- 1:25I'm good, though.
- 1:25I'm good.
- 1:26I'm not screaming about it.
- 1:27I'm fine.
- 1:28Hi, everybody.
- 1:30Started out all pretty well.
- 1:33Good night.
- 1:37Well,
- 1:37I have some bad news for Daniel Arnson.
- 1:40Oh?
- 1:41Vicky ain't here today.
- 1:44So... At least not yet.
- 1:46Maybe she will be later.
- 1:48You can plead and request that she pull
- 1:50up your comments all you want.
- 1:52Guess what?
- 1:53She ain't here to do it.
- 1:55I'm in charge.
- 1:56Sorry, not sorry.
- 1:59Just letting you know.
- 2:02Just saying, dog.
- 2:04Just saying.
- 2:06Gosh darn it.
- 2:08It is.
- 2:09That's what you should have said when you
- 2:10banged your hand.
- 2:13Sort of.
- 2:14Actually, no.
- 2:14It was an F-bomb.
- 2:15It was one big one,
- 2:18and I'm trying not to yell it out
- 2:19because...
- 2:21Trying to be good about that kind of
- 2:22stuff.
- 2:23And it's difficult sometimes because I
- 2:24have a horrible potty mouth.
- 2:27Ninety nine percent of the time.
- 2:29So.
- 2:31I'm working on being better.
- 2:33Yeah.
- 2:33It's about growth, Scott.
- 2:34It is about growth.
- 2:37One percent.
- 2:38I, uh.
- 2:40I was telling Corey before I hopped on,
- 2:42I talked about it briefly last night.
- 2:45I went to my family reunion.
- 2:47Is that better?
- 2:47Did I say that better?
- 2:48Yes,
- 2:49so much better than the family reunion I
- 2:53went to.
- 2:54I went to my family reunion,
- 2:57got sat with a guy that may have
- 3:01been racist,
- 3:02may have had political views that he
- 3:05wanted to express.
- 3:06And the worst part of the conversation was
- 3:09he talked with his mouth full.
- 3:11So the entire conversation,
- 3:13because I'm sitting across the picnic
- 3:15table from him,
- 3:16was ducking the shrapnel as he was talking
- 3:22to me.
- 3:23You know,
- 3:25the guy that puts like a half a
- 3:26jar of relish on his burger and then
- 3:28talks to you and you're ducking pickles
- 3:30the whole.
- 3:31He's like,
- 3:32we could have this conversation,
- 3:34but I'd much rather do it without you
- 3:35spitting at me.
- 3:36So could you please finish your food first
- 3:38and then we'll discuss whatever you want
- 3:40to do after that?
- 3:40That'd be fantastic.
- 3:43Yeah, but yeah,
- 3:46his whole conversation started off with,
- 3:48hey, you live in Columbus?
- 3:50I hear you're having trouble with the
- 3:51Muslims.
- 3:55I like how it's like,
- 3:56I heard you're having trouble with the
- 3:57Muslims.
- 3:57Like as in, as if Scott,
- 3:59first of all,
- 4:00leaves his house for more than twenty,
- 4:03thirty minutes at a time and then goes,
- 4:05I heard you specifically were having
- 4:07trouble with the Muslims.
- 4:09Whatever that is supposed to mean.
- 4:11What kind of trouble are we having?
- 4:13I can't tell you a time when I
- 4:15did have trouble with Muslims.
- 4:16No,
- 4:17I don't know any to have trouble with
- 4:20Muslims.
- 4:22I work with a bunch.
- 4:24I have never, ever had a trouble.
- 4:26I had problems with Muslims.
- 4:27No.
- 4:28The couple that I've met in my time,
- 4:31days, travels,
- 4:32whatever you want to call it,
- 4:33had been really nice people who had been
- 4:35down to do the same stuff that everybody
- 4:38else is doing.
- 4:38Just want to work.
- 4:40Just want to support their life.
- 4:42Just want to move on with their business.
- 4:44It's ridiculous.
- 4:44Columbus has to be like one of the
- 4:46most diverse communities in the country.
- 4:52and and that that's one thing i'm so
- 4:56glad that my daughter got raised in like
- 4:59she went to school with all ethnicities
- 5:03all races it all and so like i'm
- 5:07just glad she had that experience yeah
- 5:10because i did not grow up that way
- 5:11neither did i i grew up in a
- 5:13very lily white community where if you saw
- 5:17a black person it was shocking
- 5:21but i'm so glad she got a different
- 5:25experience than me um i did not attend
- 5:29school with a black person got taught by
- 5:33several but like i didn't have a black
- 5:36person classmate until i got to high
- 5:37school yeah i think it was middle school
- 5:41for me yeah well and i was right
- 5:45i was the only black person in my
- 5:46neighborhood
- 5:50She's not wrong.
- 5:55It's just the circumstance of where I was
- 5:57born.
- 5:57Not like I was actively avoiding or
- 6:01whatever.
- 6:01It's just a thing.
- 6:03Lito, member for fourteen months.
- 6:06Appreciate you, Lito.
- 6:08So pumped that she's been a member for
- 6:09that long.
- 6:10She's one of my favorite people in the
- 6:11world.
- 6:13Even Penn State fans live in Columbus.
- 6:16You are correct.
- 6:21Someone has to represent the good guys
- 6:24here.
- 6:24As it turns out.
- 6:25Yeah.
- 6:26So speaking of college football,
- 6:29have you seen the latest news?
- 6:31I'm sure it's all over the LSU internets.
- 6:36Not just the LSU,
- 6:37just the random college sports things that
- 6:40I follow as well.
- 6:42It's all over that.
- 6:45Let's talk about it first.
- 6:46Let me explain the situation.
- 6:49For the first time ever,
- 6:51there is the potential that an NFL player
- 6:56is going to go back to college because
- 7:00that is more lucrative than staying in the
- 7:03NFL.
- 7:03Yeah.
- 7:05So his name is Daquan Wright.
- 7:09He was an undrafted free agent signing of
- 7:11the Cleveland Browns.
- 7:12Yeah.
- 7:14He was the tight end for Lane Kiffin
- 7:16at Ole Miss last year.
- 7:19Signs with the Browns.
- 7:21Gets waived this morning.
- 7:23If he clears waivers,
- 7:25he is under no contract with the NFL.
- 7:28And he is eligible due to a weird...
- 7:33court system ruling to be able to go
- 7:36back to college.
- 7:37And Lane Kiffin has already been in talks
- 7:39with him to come to LSU and be
- 7:42their starting tight end.
- 7:43He's not going to start.
- 7:45He's not going to start over trade is
- 7:46green,
- 7:47but
- 7:49And here's the thing, right?
- 7:51Because Lane Kiffin on a lot of different
- 7:53places is getting dragged, right?
- 7:55Just people just, you know,
- 7:58between him and Will Wade.
- 8:00I saw somebody this morning that hopes
- 8:01that LSU loses every game that they play,
- 8:04both college football and basketball.
- 8:05Like people are that upset about it.
- 8:07Here's the thing.
- 8:09He didn't make the rules.
- 8:13He's the first one that got apparently
- 8:15noticed for it because he did try to
- 8:17get the kid to come to school here
- 8:19and finish out his senior year.
- 8:21He went undrafted,
- 8:22got picked up by the Browns instead.
- 8:24Okay, cool, whatever.
- 8:26Anybody could be doing this.
- 8:29Kurt Cignetti.
- 8:30Anybody else could be having stuff.
- 8:35Once the floodgates open,
- 8:36you know they're all going to do it.
- 8:40And it's only going to be good for,
- 8:42I think, what, one more year after this?
- 8:44Because it's like from twenty twenty two
- 8:48to what I saw and get up.
- 8:49There is a loophole that if some say
- 8:52someone
- 8:53leave school early after three years and
- 8:56they decide they want to go.
- 8:57And then, um,
- 8:59it doesn't go as well as they thought
- 9:01in the NFL,
- 9:01like wherever they could choose to go
- 9:05back.
- 9:06Like we're only talking probably this year
- 9:08of like undrafted free agents.
- 9:09Right.
- 9:10But it could leak into draft picks.
- 9:12You could represent as soon as NIL
- 9:17started, uh,
- 9:19As soon as that became a thing and
- 9:20we started paying players out front
- 9:21instead of paying them under the table,
- 9:24this is where we were headed.
- 9:28We don't have to pay them under the
- 9:29table anymore.
- 9:30You can just bring it out in the
- 9:31light.
- 9:33Coach Ogeron said it best.
- 9:34We used to bring the money in the
- 9:35back door.
- 9:36Now we just bring it in the front.
- 9:37That's the only difference.
- 9:39But because it's happening,
- 9:43you can just call it what it is.
- 9:44It's college football,
- 9:45which I absolutely love.
- 9:47You can call it what it is now.
- 9:49It has been for quite some time.
- 9:51It is a semi-professional,
- 9:53like the league below the NFL.
- 9:56But here is the wild concept.
- 10:01he is going to make more money in
- 10:04college than he could make in the pro
- 10:07NFL.
- 10:08And that's a wild concept because right
- 10:11now there is no governance in college
- 10:14football as to how much you spend.
- 10:17The NFL has a salary cap.
- 10:19College football does not.
- 10:21No.
- 10:22LSU has the TAF,
- 10:24which is the Tiger Athletic Fund,
- 10:25which is privately funded.
- 10:27There are no state funds that go into
- 10:29that whatsoever.
- 10:30You know who went to LSU?
- 10:33The guy who owns Raisin Cane's.
- 10:36I wish – Julie, listen to me.
- 10:40I wish Vicky was here so she could
- 10:41look it up and see.
- 10:43But I can guarantee you he has a
- 10:46lot of money.
- 10:47Listen, Mark Cuban went to Indiana.
- 10:50Exactly.
- 10:50He won the national championship.
- 10:53Indiana.
- 10:54Because that man said, hey,
- 10:55I want my alma mater to kick some
- 10:58ass in college football.
- 10:59Yeah.
- 11:02It's unreal.
- 11:02And like you said,
- 11:03the fact that there's no kind of
- 11:05regulation on it.
- 11:07Yeah,
- 11:08I know you're on the practice squad for
- 11:10the Browns right now,
- 11:11but would you like to come back to
- 11:12LSU and play one year and possibly win
- 11:13a national championship and get some NIL
- 11:15money?
- 11:18Yeah.
- 11:19And make ten times what you would in
- 11:20the NFL?
- 11:25Yeah.
- 11:26I don't blame Daquan one bit.
- 11:27If I'm Daquan,
- 11:28I'd jump at the chance to do that.
- 11:30Not at all, dude.
- 11:32Not at all.
- 11:34College football,
- 11:36as a competitor to the NFL,
- 11:38has a better shot than the WFP against
- 11:42the CrossFit Games.
- 11:43By far.
- 11:47It's wild.
- 11:49It is wild.
- 11:50And here's the thing.
- 11:52College football will not admit that these
- 11:56players are employees.
- 11:58No, I love that part.
- 12:00And because they won't admit that they are
- 12:03employees,
- 12:05there are no guardrails to this.
- 12:07Correct.
- 12:10The players can't unionize.
- 12:12They can't fight for protections and
- 12:16fairness or anything like that.
- 12:17Nope.
- 12:19And they can also make millions of
- 12:21dollars.
- 12:23And they also, they just,
- 12:27the whole thing's insane.
- 12:29whole thing's insane because you said like
- 12:30there's no guardrails they can write
- 12:32whatever checks they want whatever they
- 12:33just gotta go look and see what's in
- 12:35the athletic fund okay cool can we afford
- 12:37to pay this cool kid yeah all right
- 12:39give him whatever he wants
- 12:41I'm sure we're going to talk about this
- 12:42way more on EA Sports tomorrow night.
- 12:46But it's just a wild,
- 12:49wild concept that I had to bring up.
- 12:52That's fantastic.
- 12:53Cows and CrossFit makes a great point.
- 12:55Make more money,
- 12:55definitely win a national championship.
- 12:57Not likely at LSU.
- 12:59We will see how it goes, my brother.
- 13:02we will see how it goes i love
- 13:04the shit talking oh yeah it's starting up
- 13:07we're a couple weeks away from like all
- 13:10the all the stuff happening and kicking
- 13:12off i cannot wait dude i am so
- 13:14pumped for sure uh do they even have
- 13:18to take classes anymore uh they have to
- 13:22take a class they have to be enrolled
- 13:24in classes
- 13:26have to be enrolled in school if they
- 13:28want to play in a bowl game or
- 13:31at like the playoffs they better pass the
- 13:33classes here's the fun part the other fun
- 13:35part my son started back at lsu today
- 13:40today like he's going to class probably
- 13:44right now as a matter of fact so
- 13:45like whatever is happening with this needs
- 13:47to happen right now because enrollment
- 13:51yeah that's already a thing
- 13:54like all the rules and regulations that
- 13:55they got in place and all that typical
- 13:58drop ads about what two weeks uh and
- 14:02drop an ad yeah usually about two weeks
- 14:04so you can add a class within the
- 14:06first two weeks generally or you couldn't
- 14:10drop a class in the first two weeks
- 14:12yeah i don't think people even take
- 14:15classes for stan i think they show up
- 14:18for some of them and
- 14:20Maybe they do some stuff.
- 14:21Maybe they don't.
- 14:22It really depends on,
- 14:24I would say the ones that know that
- 14:26they are actual student athletes probably
- 14:29go to class.
- 14:30But the guys that got their eyes on
- 14:32the NFL and been,
- 14:34I don't want to say promised it,
- 14:35but been told all their life.
- 14:37Let's be real.
- 14:38There's classes in college that you don't
- 14:40have to really attend to pass.
- 14:42Underwater basket weaving.
- 14:45That's the one that's always been used,
- 14:47but you know damn well there's like
- 14:50history of TV or like goofy shit now
- 14:54that we... Yeah.
- 14:57I mean, when I was in college,
- 14:58the choices were stupid at times if you
- 15:01wanted to fill your curriculum.
- 15:04And those are like those, what,
- 15:05optional...
- 15:08Thanks.
- 15:09Electives.
- 15:09Electives.
- 15:11Yeah.
- 15:12I took weightlifting our second semester
- 15:15at Nichols because I needed an easy A,
- 15:17and I knew I could just go show
- 15:18them lift weights.
- 15:19Oh, okay, cool.
- 15:20I took bowling one semester.
- 15:23Outstanding.
- 15:24Kicked some ass.
- 15:30I took speech,
- 15:33actually took speech too because I had
- 15:34speech as a freshman in high school and
- 15:36I was eligible for it.
- 15:37So it's like literally show up,
- 15:40write something down,
- 15:41stand up in front of class.
- 15:42Like it's all subjective, right?
- 15:44So as long as you're not completely just
- 15:46hammering over your words,
- 15:47I don't know if y'all know this or
- 15:48not,
- 15:48but I like to talk and I'm pretty
- 15:50good at doing it in front of people.
- 15:51Like that was another easy A. I just,
- 15:53I had to,
- 15:54the worst part about that class is that
- 15:55it was eight o'clock in the morning and
- 15:56I had to show up for it.
- 16:00Daniel Arnson made a great point.
- 16:02Penn State was in a good position this
- 16:04year, but we lost all the drug money.
- 16:06So now I'm not sure we can pay
- 16:09as much to the players.
- 16:11It turns out that we were really relying
- 16:15on that cocaine money.
- 16:18Damn it, Pablo.
- 16:20Pablo Pledgeskabar.
- 16:22Pledgeskabar.
- 16:26Fergie last night,
- 16:27if you didn't see last night's show,
- 16:29was taking a chance with his ice cream
- 16:32that had expired in March.
- 16:34I thought he said February.
- 16:38Ice cream update, I survived the purge.
- 16:43FYI, Rebel ice cream does not melt.
- 16:48So the stuff that he's got is like,
- 16:53It's basically protein ice cream type
- 16:55stuff.
- 16:58Whatever the other brand,
- 16:59I can't think of his name.
- 17:00They recommend that when you take it out
- 17:02of the freezer,
- 17:02you set it on your countertop and you
- 17:04leave it there for fifteen,
- 17:05twenty minutes so that you can actually
- 17:07eat it because it's so solid when it's
- 17:09frozen,
- 17:09like you'll bend a spoon trying to get
- 17:11it in there.
- 17:14a little top trying to think of.
- 17:16Yeah.
- 17:16Uh, Meredith asks, uh, ice cream expires.
- 17:19Jamie contended last night that it doesn't
- 17:21expire.
- 17:22It just gets freezer burnt.
- 17:23And if you just chip that freezer burn
- 17:25off the outside, you're good to go.
- 17:28Right.
- 17:30I don't think, uh,
- 17:32If anybody says, does ice cream expire?
- 17:34That says a lot more about their ice
- 17:35cream habits than most people do because
- 17:37they'd never actually gotten to that point
- 17:39to figure out that ice cream expires.
- 17:41Never once has ice cream in my freezer
- 17:45made it to the expiration date.
- 17:46No, no.
- 17:47I didn't even realize that there was an
- 17:49expiration date on there.
- 17:50And even if there was ice cream in
- 17:52my house, usually if I buy it,
- 17:54it'll be a pint of Halo Top or
- 17:56whatever, and it'll last about two days.
- 17:59Yeah, I don't even buy it anymore.
- 18:02Like for me,
- 18:04that is my biggest dessert crutch that I,
- 18:09and that's why like Sundays are drive up
- 18:11to a neighboring town and get my medium
- 18:14soft serve cone.
- 18:15And that's my treat.
- 18:17And I don't bring it into my house
- 18:19because it ain't gonna last forever.
- 18:21No, I'm telling you, dude,
- 18:22like a pint of Halo Top literally will
- 18:24last me the day I bring it home,
- 18:26I'll eat half of it,
- 18:27and the next day I'll eat the other
- 18:28half of it.
- 18:29And sometimes the whole pint won't make it
- 18:32tonight.
- 18:32Like I have been known to crush a
- 18:35pint of Halo Top that night.
- 18:37Won't be hard to do.
- 18:39So I got to call up my nephew.
- 18:40He used to live with us here.
- 18:42He went to college in Columbus,
- 18:44and he got a job here in Columbus,
- 18:47and so we let him live with us
- 18:48until he could get on his feet.
- 18:51he had a bad day he would we
- 18:53have a thing called the united dairy
- 18:54farmers it's like a little filling station
- 18:57type thing where in convenience store but
- 19:00they the co-lab of the dairy farmers makes
- 19:04the product for the store so it is
- 19:07like homemade ice cream
- 19:09He'd stop there, get two pints.
- 19:12If he had a bad day,
- 19:13he would come home,
- 19:15put them in the microwave for like thirty
- 19:17seconds.
- 19:19So it melted just enough.
- 19:21And he would go up to the bedroom,
- 19:23shut the door,
- 19:23and we wouldn't see him the rest of
- 19:25the night.
- 19:27See y'all tomorrow.
- 19:30See y'all tomorrow.
- 19:32That's fantastic.
- 19:39Um, uh, Jody's craving a root beer float,
- 19:42any kind of float Coke float.
- 19:45I've never been a float guy when I
- 19:48was a kid.
- 19:49Like that wasn't, that was a cool thing,
- 19:51but I I'm just thinking like how much
- 19:54sugar.
- 19:56If somebody opens a regular Coke anywhere
- 19:59in my general vicinity, I can smell it.
- 20:02I can smell the sugar in it immediately.
- 20:04I cannot imagine a glass of it with
- 20:08a scoop or two ice cream just floating
- 20:09in it.
- 20:10That would probably just send me directly
- 20:12into a diabetic coma at that point because
- 20:14that's just a lot of sugar that I'm
- 20:16not used to.
- 20:19I tried Tillamook ice cream yesterday at
- 20:21my mom's house.
- 20:22It was very good.
- 20:24The only thing I know about Tillamook is
- 20:25cheese and their cheese is exceptional.
- 20:29It should be.
- 20:29I've seen what they put,
- 20:30what they charge for it.
- 20:33Yeah.
- 20:34They have an aged white cheddar.
- 20:36It's a bomb.
- 20:37I mean, if you,
- 20:38if you that proud of it and that,
- 20:40you know, it runs you that much,
- 20:42you should probably charge.
- 20:43You probably going to charge whatever the
- 20:44hell you're going to charge for it.
- 20:45So I get that point.
- 20:47Um,
- 20:52I had an Arizona iced tea for the
- 20:53first time in years yesterday.
- 20:55Could only handle four sips.
- 20:58Still on my dollar, a dollar,
- 21:00was it dollar nine, dollar nine?
- 21:02I think the cans of Arizona tea are
- 21:03only nine, nine cents.
- 21:05And, uh, it should be.
- 21:07Yeah.
- 21:07I used the Arizona, uh,
- 21:09it was like green tea,
- 21:12something or another.
- 21:13God, that stuff was so good, dude.
- 21:16It's probably terrible for you.
- 21:18uh david johnston just uh had tillamook
- 21:20cheese about ten minutes ago that's
- 21:23unsurprising mr johnson's pretty bougie i
- 21:27don't know if y'all know that or not
- 21:30he lives there he lives in augusta you
- 21:34understand with it yeah all right sorry
- 21:37david i'm throwing your business out there
- 21:38in the world but he lives on the
- 21:41golf course he doesn't live on the golf
- 21:42course that's not true i just made that
- 21:44he's not far from it
- 21:48He just sneaks into the pool at night.
- 21:50It wouldn't surprise me.
- 21:51It wouldn't surprise me.
- 21:52Look,
- 21:52if I saw him coming and he didn't
- 21:54have his shirt on,
- 21:54I'd let him go wherever he wanted to
- 21:56as well.
- 21:59We call it disgusta.
- 22:01Disgusta.
- 22:06What do I want to talk about today?
- 22:08So I had to bring this up because
- 22:11I saw this because –
- 22:14some big names or big names in my
- 22:16world came up on this competition.
- 22:18It happened this weekend.
- 22:20Have you ever heard of the big orange
- 22:22brawl?
- 22:23No, I have not.
- 22:26Sorry.
- 22:26That's Clifford.
- 22:29It is a competition in Knoxville,
- 22:31Tennessee.
- 22:32Okay.
- 22:33And because that's where the university of
- 22:35Tennessee is,
- 22:36they call it the big orange brawl fair.
- 22:39They had a competition and I don't know
- 22:41if you recognize this winner.
- 22:43Right here in the middle.
- 22:44I can't hardly see that.
- 22:44You're going to have to zoom in.
- 22:45She just got married like a week ago.
- 22:49Oh, shit.
- 22:50There's Allie Mertens.
- 22:52With her Mertens versus everyone shirt.
- 22:54I love that.
- 22:54She can wear that now because now she's
- 22:56actually Allie Mertens.
- 22:56That's all right right there.
- 22:57Look what they gave her.
- 22:58They gave her a big check.
- 23:00I am one hundred percent jealous.
- 23:03One hundred percent jealous.
- 23:05So she won the women's elite.
- 23:08That is Alex Majors.
- 23:09If you guys don't know,
- 23:10I've mentioned him several times on this
- 23:12show.
- 23:13Yep.
- 23:13Dang it.
- 23:14He was my coach at my noon CrossFit
- 23:17class.
- 23:18Get out.
- 23:20At CrossFit Polaris.
- 23:21I don't know if you can see the
- 23:22CrossFit Polaris shirt there.
- 23:25He looks like he's fifteen.
- 23:29He's the one with the really long hair
- 23:30that you see at the semifinals like
- 23:33Syndicate.
- 23:34Okay.
- 23:36Um,
- 23:37he looks like the samurai chef from
- 23:41Saturday night live back in the day.
- 23:42So then,
- 23:46so then those were there and then I'm
- 23:48flipping through and I don't know if you
- 23:51guys recognize this person in the middle,
- 23:54but she won the master's division.
- 23:57Her name is Amanda Fillers,
- 24:00a frequent person in our chat.
- 24:03She just tagged us on Instagram wearing
- 24:05the super powerful Clydesdale Media blue
- 24:09shirt.
- 24:09Yeah.
- 24:10So she got a Clydesdale Media blue shirt
- 24:13and now she's on the top of the
- 24:15podium.
- 24:16Not a coincidence, bro.
- 24:17Not a coincidence.
- 24:17Not a coincidence.
- 24:20Just saying.
- 24:22I think that's pretty freaking awesome.
- 24:24It is.
- 24:24Hey, scroll down for me a little bit.
- 24:25I want to see who's on that Masters
- 24:28Men's podium.
- 24:29Anybody I know.
- 24:31Negative.
- 24:32All right.
- 24:33Yeah,
- 24:33I didn't recognize anybody else in the
- 24:38thing.
- 24:38FYI, y'all, if y'all don't know,
- 24:40and not just from this podium right here,
- 24:41but Amanda Fillers is fit with a capital
- 24:46F.
- 24:47Like, it's just silly.
- 24:50It really, really is.
- 24:51I've seen that girl work.
- 24:52She's fit.
- 24:55Pool Boys in the chat.
- 24:56You see the news of FortyNiners owner Jed
- 24:58York getting arrested.
- 24:59I did.
- 25:00I saw it pop up on my phone
- 25:02literally like two minutes before we went
- 25:03on the air.
- 25:04Oh.
- 25:05In case you wanted to know.
- 25:07Breaking news.
- 25:08The owner of the FortyNiners was arrested
- 25:12on suspicion of engaging in prostitution
- 25:14with
- 25:15before pleading no contest to misdemeanor
- 25:17charges.
- 25:19Was he buying or was he selling?
- 25:20Every time they say engaging in
- 25:24prostitution,
- 25:25I'm going to need you to be a
- 25:26little bit more forthcoming there because
- 25:27I need to know what the difference is.
- 25:29My assumption, he was buying.
- 25:31Going on buying, all right.
- 25:34But I'm sure further details will be
- 25:36released as the day progresses.
- 25:39More than likely, more than likely.
- 25:41Okay.
- 25:43Let's go with buying.
- 25:44Let's just say he was buying just,
- 25:46just for, just for,
- 25:47cause he's probably a million years old.
- 25:50If I had to guess he is not,
- 25:52he really is not.
- 25:53Uh, I think I just shut it down.
- 25:57Um, no, he's, he's fairly young.
- 26:00Okay.
- 26:05One other piece of NFL news I just
- 26:07wanted from the dirtbag department since
- 26:09we're down in there.
- 26:11We already have that.
- 26:11Yeah, we're already on that.
- 26:12Deshaun Watson, another Cleveland Brown,
- 26:17held a press conference this weekend where
- 26:19he was upset that he was booed during
- 26:21his awful performance in a preseason game
- 26:24this weekend and said that it's getting
- 26:29personal and he doesn't believe it's about
- 26:32his performance.
- 26:34Well,
- 26:34you were alleged to have sexually
- 26:36assaulted seven women.
- 26:39Let's start there.
- 26:43I don't know if there is a more
- 26:48tone deaf response to something.
- 26:52I would like to know who told him
- 26:54it was a good idea to host a
- 26:56press conference to discuss it.
- 27:00He did not host it.
- 27:01This was the Browns hosting it after their
- 27:03preseason game.
- 27:04Oh, so okay.
- 27:05That's even better.
- 27:07So instead of...
- 27:09Yeah, you know, it's preseason,
- 27:12working out the kinks, blah, blah,
- 27:13whatever.
- 27:13I understand the fans' frustration.
- 27:16I really feel like you guys are just
- 27:19against me because reasons.
- 27:21I don't even know what the reasons are.
- 27:22And everybody else is like,
- 27:23we know the reasons.
- 27:25We got the reasons figured right on out
- 27:27there, homeboy.
- 27:28You know what he should do is go
- 27:30get a massage.
- 27:34I think that would probably solve all his
- 27:36problems at this point because that's what
- 27:38got him in trouble in the first place.
- 27:39So let's go ahead and just do that.
- 27:43And just to add a little color to
- 27:45this story,
- 27:47he was saying all that it was
- 27:49disrespectful why putting a massive
- 27:51diamond earring into his ear.
- 27:55This is seriously disrespectful.
- 27:57Hold on.
- 27:57Let me put this four-carat diamond in my
- 27:59ear.
- 28:00You know,
- 28:01because the Browns have paid him –
- 28:03Two hundred and fifty million dollars to
- 28:06not play.
- 28:07I was about to say,
- 28:09they paid him an absurd amount of money,
- 28:13which, I mean,
- 28:13is a totally Cleveland Brown thing to do,
- 28:15right?
- 28:15Let's be honest here.
- 28:16Like,
- 28:16that's on brand for them to just pay
- 28:18a whole bunch of people an absurd amount
- 28:20of money to not perform whatsoever.
- 28:23Wayne says, he's not wrong.
- 28:25It is very personal.
- 28:27Yeah, a hundred percent.
- 28:28Yeah.
- 28:29No, we understand.
- 28:31Jeez.
- 28:32I,
- 28:33The whole time he's talking, I'm going,
- 28:35dumbass, dumbass.
- 28:36But then the Browns took us one step
- 28:39further and just about an hour ago named
- 28:42him their starter.
- 28:46I know yesterday went really, really well,
- 28:47so we just want to make sure the
- 28:49fans understand that he will, in fact,
- 28:50be starting for us.
- 28:53Our first regular season game.
- 28:55That's wild, dude.
- 28:57That's absolutely wild.
- 28:59It's more proof to the fact that NFL
- 29:02teams are notorious for this.
- 29:03It's like,
- 29:04we spent a lot of money on this
- 29:05dude.
- 29:06He's playing.
- 29:07Period.
- 29:08It doesn't matter.
- 29:09If we get halfway through the season and
- 29:11it sucks, okay,
- 29:12then we'll reluctantly do something
- 29:16different.
- 29:16But they're trying to justify the money
- 29:19that they spent on it.
- 29:21And not only justify the money,
- 29:23but they have pushed the money down the
- 29:25road with contract extensions, right?
- 29:28So that if they would want to cut
- 29:30him,
- 29:31the one hundred and twenty seven million
- 29:34dollars goes on their cap immediately.
- 29:38And no team in the league has that
- 29:40much space.
- 29:42So they can't cut him.
- 29:44And they also can't get rid of him.
- 29:46They can't be like, hey,
- 29:47anybody else out there?
- 29:48Like a little Deshaun Watson in your life?
- 29:50And everybody's like, oh, no, thank you.
- 29:53No, thank you.
- 29:53There's a lot of massage parlors right
- 29:55here next to the stadium that we don't
- 29:57need him to be.
- 29:59He's already got enough problems.
- 30:00We have body work people that work in
- 30:02the building and we cannot leave him
- 30:04around them.
- 30:05no no he has he has he has
- 30:07a he has a body work buddy that
- 30:08he has to go in with every single
- 30:10time to make sure he doesn't do anything
- 30:11ridiculously i do i think that is an
- 30:14actual rule it wouldn't surprise he has to
- 30:18be accompanied by an adult if it's not
- 30:24a rule it should be how about i
- 30:26am i am ninety percent sure that is
- 30:29an actual rule yeah
- 30:32I understand is correct.
- 30:34The number of starting quarterbacks the
- 30:35Browns have had since in nineteen ninety
- 30:37nine is it's absurd.
- 30:39It is.
- 30:41Like every time I felt bad in those
- 30:44years that the Bears sucked with their
- 30:45quarterbacks,
- 30:47all I had to do is look up
- 30:48north here in Cleveland and say, well,
- 30:51he's waiting to Browns.
- 30:56I can't imagine the misery of being a
- 30:57Browns fan.
- 30:59Apparently, that is Dan Bailey's team.
- 31:01That is what he grew up on.
- 31:02He's been a long-suffering LeBron.
- 31:06He's from Akron, Ohio.
- 31:08Same place as LeBron James.
- 31:11Oh, yeah.
- 31:12You can tell just if you look at
- 31:13him side by side.
- 31:16Definitely grew up in the same
- 31:17neighborhood for sure.
- 31:18Terry.
- 31:24I'm from Cleveland originally.
- 31:26I pride myself on never jumping ship,
- 31:28but they're making it really difficult.
- 31:30You guys are not making this easy.
- 31:33You guys are not making this easy.
- 31:36I'm trying to stay on the ship.
- 31:38Kicked in the face, kicked in the groin.
- 31:43I'm trying to stay on.
- 31:45Just come on.
- 31:46Just work with me here.
- 31:50Did you see,
- 31:52while we're talking about NFL stuff,
- 31:53did you see Joey B mic'd up talking
- 31:56about the fossils and whatnot that he saw
- 31:59at the Natural History Museum?
- 32:03I did not, bro.
- 32:05So he's just like, he's,
- 32:07he's catching and like throwing and
- 32:09catching and throwing.
- 32:09And he's talking to one of the trainers
- 32:11or somebody about, um, he's like, man,
- 32:14like these fossils, blah, blah, blah.
- 32:16They've been around for millions of years.
- 32:17Like, why is that interesting to you?
- 32:19He said,
- 32:19why is it not interesting to you?
- 32:20These things are millions of years old.
- 32:23and all i could think of was that
- 32:24joey b is so ready to be a
- 32:26middle-aged man and like get into like
- 32:28world war ii history and smoking meats and
- 32:31like that like he is he's right there
- 32:33dude he's so right there that man needs
- 32:35him children bad bad bad so he grew
- 32:38up in athens ohio that's where my daughter
- 32:40went to college if you've never been there
- 32:44that fits exactly that personality
- 32:48I can't wait, dude.
- 32:49Like,
- 32:49every other house is smoking meat out
- 32:52back.
- 32:52Oh, yeah.
- 32:53And they're probably all talking about
- 32:55fossils.
- 32:57Yeah.
- 32:58And, like,
- 32:59he's going to know an absurd amount about
- 33:00World War II history.
- 33:01Like, just all that stuff, dude.
- 33:04He'll be sitting on the porch rocking.
- 33:06Oh, yeah.
- 33:09sitting back attack that archaea uh terex
- 33:12it was like the missing link bird between
- 33:14false you know dinosaurs and birds like
- 33:17that's a really a thing i learned that
- 33:19i can see it dude i can so
- 33:20see it i love joey b love that
- 33:22dude uh the jay cutler years weren't as
- 33:25bad for a bears fan i actually love
- 33:27jay cutler i was one of the few
- 33:29fans that adored that man
- 33:32You never knew what you were going to
- 33:33get.
- 33:33You were either going to get a five
- 33:35hundred yard passing day with six
- 33:36touchdowns or six interceptions and a
- 33:40hundred and ten yard passing day.
- 33:43But hey,
- 33:44at least you were tuned in to see.
- 33:46It was going to be exciting one way
- 33:47or the other.
- 33:48Exactly.
- 33:49It won't be exciting one way or the
- 33:50other.
- 33:50You got to love that.
- 33:55Before we forget,
- 33:56I do need this huge shout-out to fellow
- 33:59Clydesdale media member, Carolyn Prevost,
- 34:02who seems to be aging like a fine
- 34:05wine.
- 34:07She's actually aging better than a fine
- 34:09wine.
- 34:10The fact that she finished third in that
- 34:11qualifier, dude,
- 34:12is absolutely mind-boggling.
- 34:15If you have not seen it,
- 34:16our very own Carolyn Prevost finished
- 34:18third in the Rogue qualifier.
- 34:21And that means she will be getting an
- 34:24invite to the Rogue Invitational in
- 34:26Scotland as long as video review does not
- 34:29do something to her.
- 34:31Pending video review.
- 34:32I'm sure her video review is going to
- 34:34be fine.
- 34:34The girl moves impeccably good.
- 34:37And she's been Rogue's tester for the last
- 34:40three years.
- 34:41So she knows what Rogue is looking for.
- 34:44Absolutely.
- 34:46Absolutely.
- 34:48That's an incredible accomplishment, dude.
- 34:49Good, good.
- 34:51So happy for her.
- 34:51That's outstanding.
- 34:53Yeah.
- 34:53So at thirty six years old,
- 34:56she qualified for the toughest competition
- 34:59to qualify for.
- 35:00Oh, yeah.
- 35:02As an elite?
- 35:03Absolutely.
- 35:04Like you were saying last night,
- 35:05it's tougher than making it to the games.
- 35:06I would agree.
- 35:07There's only twenty spots and they invite
- 35:09fifteen at minimum.
- 35:11Yeah.
- 35:14So,
- 35:15and I would argue some of the people
- 35:17they're inviting,
- 35:18which they announced another one today,
- 35:22is Gabby Magawa.
- 35:24I would say like some of those people
- 35:26probably aren't the top fifteen in the
- 35:28world anymore.
- 35:29Yeah.
- 35:30And it's because they're reaching back.
- 35:33What is it?
- 35:34Two years?
- 35:34Three years?
- 35:35Five years.
- 35:36Five years.
- 35:37Two plus three years.
- 35:38Five years.
- 35:41Yep.
- 35:42Let me see if I can pull it
- 35:42up super fast.
- 35:43As Vicky said, heel yeah.
- 35:46Heel yeah.
- 35:48I need to make a shirt with that
- 35:49on it.
- 35:50Heel yeah.
- 35:52Oh, dear iPhones everywhere.
- 35:54At no point have I ever said heel
- 35:57yeah.
- 35:57That's never been a thing.
- 36:01So here is the invitee list for Rogue.
- 36:06Sure, there it is.
- 36:07If I just had a producer today.
- 36:12Gabby McGowan got hers today.
- 36:15We have Yonikoski and Emily Rolfe.
- 36:20Guy Mejeros.
- 36:22But like the Chandler Smith,
- 36:26when was he relevant as an athlete?
- 36:32Even in WFP,
- 36:34he's not finishing in like a relevant
- 36:36area.
- 36:37No.
- 36:38Wasn't he like twelfth or fifteenth or
- 36:41something like that at WFP?
- 36:43It's pretty far down the list.
- 36:44I don't remember.
- 36:47We got Spiegel,
- 36:48who I love to see at Rogue.
- 36:49She's made for that event.
- 36:51We talked about that.
- 36:53Tudor, Hayley Adams, Heinrich Heipelainen,
- 36:57Paige Rogers, Moritz Fiebig,
- 36:58and Elisa Fuliano.
- 37:00Elisa Fuliano.
- 37:03She's awesome.
- 37:07She was on Pedro's podcast.
- 37:10Was that her?
- 37:11No, not her.
- 37:12Not her.
- 37:14Not her.
- 37:15Not her.
- 37:16Gosh darn it.
- 37:18So what I kind of like about Rogue
- 37:21is you get a little bit of old
- 37:22and a little bit of new,
- 37:24like the old generation into the new
- 37:26generation.
- 37:27Yeah.
- 37:28But it makes it harder to qualify in.
- 37:31Yes.
- 37:31Was my point.
- 37:34um so and i think i don't know
- 37:38this for a fact i think there's a
- 37:39clause that gabby magawa and heinrich
- 37:43heipelainen will get invites forever
- 37:45because they got hurt at the event and
- 37:47now to feel bad they will get an
- 37:49invite every year they got the same hurt
- 37:52at the event
- 37:54Which has got to be a record, right?
- 37:56That's got to be some sort of record.
- 37:58Not a record you want to have,
- 37:59mind you, but it's definitely a record.
- 38:03I'm assuming Sam Quant's invite is coming
- 38:05soon.
- 38:06I don't understand how he's not already on
- 38:08the list, to be honest with you.
- 38:13Automatic bid.
- 38:15I'm waiting to actually hear back from one
- 38:16of my athletes that competed over the
- 38:18weekend.
- 38:19She was going to get MRI this morning
- 38:20because she may or may not have ruptured
- 38:22her Achilles as well at a little comp
- 38:24we had down here over the weekend.
- 38:29I would think, from my understanding,
- 38:32I have not ruptured an Achilles.
- 38:34Mm-hmm.
- 38:35You don't really need an MRI to know.
- 38:37The MRI is to confirm.
- 38:39It's to confirm.
- 38:40She said she definitely did.
- 38:42Yeah, she heard it.
- 38:43She felt it.
- 38:44She finished the event.
- 38:47And then she said that was Saturday.
- 38:49She said she woke up yesterday and she
- 38:52couldn't walk.
- 38:53So there was that.
- 38:54But they don't do MRIs on Sundays at
- 38:57the emergency room.
- 38:58So she's going back for a follow-up,
- 39:01I think, either today or tomorrow.
- 39:03I don't remember.
- 39:05Tess wants to know if she is the
- 39:07only one that wishes Gabby and Laura would
- 39:09become friends again.
- 39:10And the chat has pretty much answered yes,
- 39:12she is the only one.
- 39:15That is the only ones.
- 39:17That is the only ones.
- 39:20Yeah.
- 39:24I guess I don't care.
- 39:26No, not at all.
- 39:28If they do, awesome.
- 39:30Good for you.
- 39:31If they don't, okay.
- 39:31Okay.
- 39:33Yeah.
- 39:34There's another six billion people on the
- 39:35planet that you can be friends with.
- 39:37Yeah.
- 39:37I'm also not super concerned if Josh,
- 39:39Matt, and Siobhan bring back the Josh,
- 39:41Matt,
- 39:41and Siobhan podcast because it was cool
- 39:43while I was there and then I really
- 39:45don't give a shit anymore.
- 39:47Maybe they will.
- 39:48Maybe they won't.
- 39:49Nobody cares.
- 39:50It's really not that important.
- 39:51Hey,
- 39:52I used to think they should bring back
- 39:53Knight Rider,
- 39:54but then I watched it again and I
- 39:55was like, man, I was wrong.
- 39:57Man.
- 39:59That is a bold stance to take.
- 40:04Either direction.
- 40:05When they tried to reboot Knight Rider,
- 40:08it was way,
- 40:09way worse than the original Knight Rider
- 40:11was.
- 40:11Like you said,
- 40:13when you go back and watch it now,
- 40:14you're like, oh yeah,
- 40:14David Hasselhoff is not a good actor.
- 40:17I totally forgot about that.
- 40:18That's my fault.
- 40:19Not only not good, terrible.
- 40:21Terrible.
- 40:24Terrible.
- 40:27Absolutely terrible.
- 40:30The car was cool.
- 40:34Mark Phillips is the best because he knows
- 40:36the old references,
- 40:38and not only do we get it once,
- 40:40but he gives that second punch.
- 40:42Erwin probably wouldn't hit the same
- 40:44either.
- 40:45Yeah,
- 40:46I'm guessing that Jan-Michael Vincent
- 40:48isn't the actor that I thought he was
- 40:50either.
- 40:51I was going to say,
- 40:52is it Jan-Michael Vincent or is it
- 40:53Jan-Michael Vincey?
- 40:55Because isn't he foreign of some sort?
- 40:56He's like some kind of weird...
- 41:00swedish or you know some sort of
- 41:02scandinavian type thing i think it's
- 41:04vincent i uh i uh i never knew
- 41:09it as vincent i always knew it as
- 41:11vincent but okay yeah um plus you're not
- 41:15gonna get um what was old boy's name
- 41:18oh his co-pilot i can see him
- 41:23Ernest Borgnine?
- 41:24Ernest Borgnine, yes.
- 41:26Ernest Borgnine, dude.
- 41:27It was a modern day Ernest Borgnine.
- 41:30There are none.
- 41:30It's not a thing.
- 41:33It's not a thing.
- 41:33There's no modern day.
- 41:35I will die on that hill.
- 41:36There's no modern day Ernest Borgnine.
- 41:38It's not going to happen.
- 41:42There's something in here.
- 41:45PSA,
- 41:46this show cares about a lot of things,
- 41:47but as to other people's friendships,
- 41:49we don't care.
- 41:50Not at all.
- 41:51Not at all.
- 41:53Oh, and let's get this right.
- 41:54I hope all of you have friends.
- 41:57Yeah.
- 41:59I'm good with that.
- 42:00I hope every single one of you has
- 42:01friends.
- 42:02But if you lose one, I don't care.
- 42:07As long as it's not me.
- 42:13What was it?
- 42:14David Johnson said they should bring back
- 42:15the office.
- 42:16I will die on this hill.
- 42:17That's not eighties.
- 42:18That's, that's not that long ago.
- 42:20No.
- 42:21Yeah.
- 42:22Right.
- 42:23And then I think what David Reed is
- 42:26trying to tell us,
- 42:28I have no idea what fromage means.
- 42:30Cheese.
- 42:30Cheese.
- 42:31Oh, fromage is French for cheese.
- 42:36Never forget that David Reed, Doug Reed,
- 42:39excuse me, sorry, is actually from Canada.
- 42:42So like,
- 42:42I'm sure he has at least a basic
- 42:44working knowledge of French.
- 42:46And you're Cajun.
- 42:46So that's based on the French language.
- 42:48So you understand the, I see.
- 42:50Fromage, yes, sir.
- 42:53I found out this weekend that I'm part
- 42:55Irish and I didn't know that.
- 42:58But we don't know any, we know potato,
- 43:00but not cheese.
- 43:01No.
- 43:03Potato.
- 43:07Or the mash and stick them in a
- 43:08stew.
- 43:14spelled spelled phonetically for those of
- 43:17you who don't know that's how they spell
- 43:19it in mexico where joseph's from spelled
- 43:22like what i did out behind the house
- 43:24not not yes yes royale with cheese what
- 43:30they call a big mac big mac's a
- 43:32big mac but it's a big mac what
- 43:34they call the whopper i don't know i
- 43:36didn't go into burger king that's one of
- 43:37the best exchanges in movie history
- 43:41It's the only Tarantino movie that I love.
- 43:43Bro, it's so good.
- 43:45I just love it when he goes,
- 43:46what did he call the Whopper?
- 43:47He goes, I don't know.
- 43:49I have no idea.
- 43:50I didn't go in.
- 43:52It tickles me to no end.
- 43:54That's a normal conversation that I would
- 43:57have with somebody.
- 43:58I have absolutely no idea.
- 44:01Yeah, Joey,
- 44:02I found out at my mom's family reunion
- 44:04that I was Irish.
- 44:05The family reunion he attended.
- 44:07Yeah.
- 44:12Y'all,
- 44:13there are certain things that just tickled
- 44:14me to absolute no end.
- 44:16And I was listening back to the last
- 44:17night show this morning as I was getting,
- 44:19uh,
- 44:19got into work and was doing some stuff.
- 44:21And when Scott said a family reunion,
- 44:23I went to over the weekend,
- 44:24I about lost my mind.
- 44:26So I was like,
- 44:28So yours, your family reunion,
- 44:31because it'd be like if Joseph was like,
- 44:32hey,
- 44:32we crashed a family reunion over the
- 44:34weekend.
- 44:34It was awesome.
- 44:35We just told people that we were there.
- 44:36We weren't even like, oh, no,
- 44:38I'm related to Aunt Sally or whatever.
- 44:39That's what it sounds like.
- 44:41Well, we know it was actually his.
- 44:44So what Scott set me straight on is
- 44:47the fact that he really knew his mom
- 44:49and about three other people.
- 44:52So, yeah,
- 44:53I was trying to explain to Corey,
- 44:55the reason I'm disconnected from this
- 44:56family reunion is nobody at this family
- 44:58reunion is anybody I hung out with ever.
- 45:03I was the youngest person there.
- 45:05They are my mom's cousins who I know
- 45:10one of them because he came to our
- 45:11house every once in a while.
- 45:14Right.
- 45:14And his wife.
- 45:16But the others,
- 45:17I didn't meet until I went to the
- 45:19other family reunion like three years ago.
- 45:22So let me ask you this.
- 45:23Mom, I'm thinking about it.
- 45:24Does that mean it was you and like
- 45:26a room full of the elderly?
- 45:27Yeah.
- 45:32My mom's probably listening,
- 45:33so I don't want to use terms that
- 45:36are going to offend my mom.
- 45:38Yeah, older people.
- 45:39Yeah.
- 45:39No big deal.
- 45:47You should be so lucky.
- 45:52Whatever you guys got going on on the
- 45:53side is your business.
- 45:56I love that dude.
- 45:57At every event that he's at that I'm
- 45:59competing at, I spend time.
- 46:01I probably should be warming up or cooling
- 46:03down.
- 46:06He did.
- 46:07He brought out a new paper street coffee
- 46:08shirt.
- 46:09It's sweet.
- 46:11I need to get,
- 46:11I need a new paper street coffee shirt.
- 46:14It's really cool.
- 46:15I think it's in like an Navy blue.
- 46:19It's really nice.
- 46:22Yeah, it was an AARP train.
- 46:25However, just so you know,
- 46:27AARP qualification is fifty years old,
- 46:31which means Corey will qualify in a few
- 46:33short months.
- 46:34I've already gotten letters from him
- 46:36asking me to sign up ahead of time.
- 46:38Oh, yeah.
- 46:40I've already gotten letters from him
- 46:41asking him to sign up.
- 46:42Yes.
- 46:43I'm sorry.
- 46:45Mama Switzer.
- 46:46I'm not calling you old, baby.
- 46:48Yeah.
- 46:52um yeah um i'm getting close i've been
- 46:58getting emails for years yeah travis said
- 47:02yes um yeah i literally like from the
- 47:06minute i turned they were recruiting yeah
- 47:12dude back in the day when i turned
- 47:15Go ahead.
- 47:16When I turned eighteen,
- 47:17I got two separate free razors from
- 47:21Gillette as a congratulations for turning
- 47:25eighteen.
- 47:25One of them to C-O-R-Y Leonard and one
- 47:28of them to C-O-R-E-Y Leonard,
- 47:30both at my mom's address.
- 47:32And I was like,
- 47:33I don't even know who this other person
- 47:34is,
- 47:34but I'm going to take his free razor
- 47:36that I'm going to use once every month
- 47:37at that point because I just didn't need
- 47:39to shave that often.
- 47:40Yeah.
- 47:42What you realize at eighteen is the the
- 47:45razor itself is not that expensive.
- 47:47But now they had you because the blades
- 47:49are five thousand dollars a piece a piece.
- 47:52It's ridiculous.
- 47:54I should not have to base my grocery
- 47:55budget as a young person around the fact
- 47:57that whether I will or will not be
- 47:59able to buy a razor blade.
- 48:01That's insane.
- 48:02So I bought razor blades literally this
- 48:04morning and I buy them in a twelve
- 48:07pack.
- 48:08because but i have to wait till i
- 48:10get paid and it's my like non-mortgage
- 48:13check gotta pay the house note first man
- 48:17i gotta get a house note gotta come
- 48:18for anything i shit you not twelve
- 48:21gillette fusion razor blades forty four
- 48:24dollars my word that's insane and if you
- 48:30buy them in smaller packs it's more per
- 48:32blade yeah i'm with kdl dude you gotta
- 48:35go electric
- 48:37I grow,
- 48:40I need a brush hog if I was
- 48:41going electric.
- 48:43I have,
- 48:44like Robin Williams used to always say,
- 48:45I have a five o'clock shadow at nine
- 48:47a.m.
- 48:49And it is hard stubble.
- 48:53Most razor blades,
- 48:55I can't even do my whole face with
- 48:56them lasting.
- 48:58These Gillette Fusions,
- 49:00I can do a couple shaves.
- 49:02So at least I have that.
- 49:03One of the ones that's got like seventy
- 49:04three blades on it.
- 49:06Five blades.
- 49:07Six blades.
- 49:08Twenty two blades.
- 49:09They just keep adding blades to it.
- 49:10Turbocharged with the Mach ten engine.
- 49:15Yeah.
- 49:18Look at that Birch too.
- 49:20If I was to endorse a razor blade
- 49:23for the thick shit, Gillette Fusion.
- 49:28Oh, we can eat it.
- 49:29That's a good endorsement.
- 49:30We can get some of that Gillette money.
- 49:32I'd take some of that.
- 49:33Yeah, the blades have blades, Trent.
- 49:38Yes, the blades have blades.
- 49:41I actually was at the games and I
- 49:43needed to shave.
- 49:44And so I got just a pack of
- 49:46like the Bic.
- 49:49It took me like five razors to get
- 49:51through one shave.
- 49:55That's also why I keep the little bit
- 49:57of beard that I got so that I
- 49:58don't have to worry about doing any of
- 49:59that shit.
- 50:00We trim this up.
- 50:02My monthly trip to my barber,
- 50:04he cleans up the rest of it and
- 50:05we call it good.
- 50:08Yeah.
- 50:10Awful.
- 50:11Hate it.
- 50:14I leave on a, on a happy note.
- 50:16And then I have a one thirty meeting
- 50:17and I, if I want to eat,
- 50:18I better end it up.
- 50:20Yep.
- 50:20Yep.
- 50:21But Corey sent me this thing yesterday and
- 50:24I just wanted to share the,
- 50:25every time you say some shit like that,
- 50:27I'm like,
- 50:27I sent you a whole bunch of stuff.
- 50:29That could be one of anything.
- 50:33If you guys have not seen this.
- 50:35Oh yeah.
- 50:35Yeah.
- 50:36I want to know who would take part
- 50:40in this.
- 50:47This is a backyard water.
- 50:52This place has ten crazy water slides and
- 50:54slipping slides and half of them have
- 50:56ramps at the end of them that launch
- 50:57you into the water.
- 50:59The biggest waterslide here starts with a
- 51:01sixty foot high drop and ends with a
- 51:03ramp that makes all the other ramps look
- 51:05cute.
- 51:06And the waterslides that don't end with a
- 51:08ramp end with a smooth boogie board ride
- 51:10across the water.
- 51:11There's also a jumping tower with
- 51:12platforms that go up to eighty feet high
- 51:15so you can do things like triple gainers.
- 51:17And if you don't yet think this water
- 51:19park is complete,
- 51:20it has trampolines and diving boards,
- 51:22this super sketchy rope swing that
- 51:23requires all of your grip strength.
- 51:25Oh, and speaking of grip strength,
- 51:27how could I forget the zip line that
- 51:28starts at the top of the eighty foot
- 51:30platform and takes you for a ride that's
- 51:32around a thousand feet long to the other
- 51:34side of the water park.
- 51:35Just as long as you don't fall before
- 51:36you reach the end.
- 51:39This is the Redneck Water Park.
- 51:41I don't know if you heard it,
- 51:43but the guy said there are only two
- 51:44rules.
- 51:45You can't sue me,
- 51:47and you can't land on your board.
- 51:51That's it.
- 51:52That's it.
- 51:53I am in.
- 51:54Sign me up.
- 51:57Train says, heel yeah.
- 51:58Heel yeah.
- 51:59Like David Johnson.
- 52:00I'd get a thousand percent with me,
- 52:03David Johnson, and a rope swing.
- 52:04Let's go, brother.
- 52:07I want this to be my family so
- 52:09bad.
- 52:12And then there's someone with some common
- 52:14sense.
- 52:15That's a no for me.
- 52:16That's all right, Mark.
- 52:17You don't have to go, brother.
- 52:18Me and David will take.
- 52:19Me, David, and Winter.
- 52:20We are on the way.
- 52:24To all the well-connected,
- 52:25this show will happily accept a Gillette
- 52:27sponsorship.
- 52:28If you know anybody that works in probably
- 52:32corporate,
- 52:33some sort of corporate area at Gillette,
- 52:36Look,
- 52:36there's plenty of room at the bottom of
- 52:37this banner.
- 52:38We could throw some stuff up there and
- 52:39Gillette would fit right nice.
- 52:41We even got the little blue stripe looking
- 52:43thing going on.
- 52:44I feel like that's very Gillette on brand
- 52:46type stuff.
- 52:47Yeah, we can take some Gillette money.
- 52:50So like I'm all in on the slides.
- 52:53The eighty foot diving tower.
- 52:56Hell no.
- 52:57He'll know.
- 52:58I'd have to build up to it.
- 53:00I'll put it to you like that.
- 53:01I'd have to go off the lower one
- 53:02first,
- 53:02and then we'd go off the bigger one
- 53:03before I went off the top one.
- 53:05So I've done a ten-meter diving platform.
- 53:08So that's what, thirty feet?
- 53:10Thirty-ish feet, yeah.
- 53:12That's high enough for me.
- 53:12Eighty is ridiculous.
- 53:15Ridiculous.
- 53:17No way in hell.
- 53:18Like, ten meters, the thirty feet,
- 53:21you have time to think about life as
- 53:22you're falling to the pool.
- 53:24Oh, one hundred percent.
- 53:25Like,
- 53:25did I jump off of this thing correctly?
- 53:28How am I going to land?
- 53:30Eighty feet,
- 53:31you'd be able to write half a novel.
- 53:33Oh, eight.
- 53:34I mean, you saw him, dude.
- 53:35Like,
- 53:35dude did like a triple gainer off of
- 53:38that.
- 53:38Like, that's a lot of room to fall.
- 53:43KDL,
- 53:44I bet they trade admission for Bush Light.
- 53:50In.
- 53:52I will stop and pick up a twelve-pack
- 53:53on the way.
- 53:57It's redneck math.
- 53:58It's probably only sixty feet.
- 54:00Okay.
- 54:01I'm good, regardless.
- 54:03Either way.
- 54:04Yeah, and I'm going to trade.
- 54:05I'll slide down,
- 54:06but I'm not jumping off that height.
- 54:07No way.
- 54:11So you have to commit.
- 54:12You can't just half-ass it.
- 54:14You got to get to the edge of
- 54:15the platform, take a deep breath,
- 54:16and just run and jump off of it.
- 54:18Because if you kind of half-ass it about,
- 54:21you're never going to make it off of
- 54:22it.
- 54:22You just won't.
- 54:24Or you'll do what's worse,
- 54:25catch up right before the end and then
- 54:27fall.
- 54:29And you definitely don't want to do that.
- 54:31Listen.
- 54:33Here's your physics lesson.
- 54:35There's tension at the top of the water.
- 54:38Oh, I know.
- 54:39That if it's not broken before you get
- 54:42there, you are breaking it.
- 54:43And if you enter the water anything less
- 54:47than straight perpendicular to it,
- 54:50you are screwed.
- 54:51Yeah.
- 54:51You'll be all right.
- 54:58A little disappointed there's no excavator
- 55:00spiny swing.
- 55:02Spinny swing?
- 55:03Spinny swing.
- 55:03Yeah, I can read.
- 55:05I know.
- 55:06You just choose not to.
- 55:07That's the whole thing.
- 55:10Discussion the other day.
- 55:15And Jay Burch says, Natty, not Bush.
- 55:18Oh, Natty Light.
- 55:22All right.
- 55:23With that, guys,
- 55:25I got to get going because I need
- 55:27more than pocket jerky to get me through
- 55:29the day.
- 55:30Yeah.
- 55:31So have a great day, everybody.
- 55:33We'll be back tomorrow.
- 55:34And don't forget,
- 55:35Bailey Maraviglia will be here on
- 55:38Wednesday to talk Xenon.
- 55:40With that,
- 55:40we'll see everybody next time on Lunch
- 55:43with Clydesdale and Cowboy.
- 55:46I wouldn't wait to get to the editing
- 55:48room to jazz me up.
- 55:50I'm already jazzy.
- 56:01Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the
- 56:02saddle.
