Soccer mourns the loss of Kevin Keegan, a true legend who died at 75 after a storied career as a player, manager, and national team captain. A two-time Ballon dOr winner and only the fourth Englishman to earn the honor, Keegan led Liverpool to European glory, captained England in 63 matches, and later guided Newcastle, Manchester City, and the Three Lions. His Hamburg triumphs included back-to-back Ballon d’Ors in ’78 and ’79, and he battled stage four cancer until his final days, surrounded by family.
