  Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah, I do. God so big to me, Man,

  Speaker 1: I just have to tell you about it. I can't

  Speaker 1: help it. It's rather obvious to me, how big, how

  Speaker 1: good God is. He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain.

  Speaker 1: He owned one, he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man.

  Speaker 1: I'm just over here, just on the receiving end. You know,

  Speaker 1: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your

  Speaker 1: mission today? What are you waiting for? Why do we

  Speaker 1: as people delay what we want or delay the process

  Speaker 1: to began what we want? Our hopes, our dreams, our desires.

  Speaker 1: Why won't you start your mission today? Why don't we

  Speaker 1: all decide together that just individually? Look you listening, you

  Speaker 1: got something that you've been dreaming about. You got an

  Speaker 1: ambition of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals

  Speaker 1: you haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them.

  Speaker 1: Everybody's got something that's on the table that they haven't

  Speaker 1: yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for start your

  Speaker 1: mission today. Stop the procrastination. Now, the procrastination is only

  Speaker 1: hurting you yourself. If you got a goal of aspiration

  Speaker 1: to dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: get back to that because God knows where you left off.

  Speaker 1: Now you may have to accomplish a few more things

  Speaker 1: since you stopped for a long period of time, but

  Speaker 1: God know where you left off. You can get back

  Speaker 1: on track. I look, man, this dream of being on

  Speaker 1: TV since I was a kid, and it got off track.

  Speaker 1: Now it got off track. I just kept it as

  Speaker 1: one of the dreams. And in some real dog moments

  Speaker 1: when it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I

  Speaker 1: was hanging on to was just the hope that one

  Speaker 1: day it could. But that's what faith is really about.

  Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.

  Speaker 1: But faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man,

  Speaker 1: Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse

  Speaker 1: Jackson say it just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's

  Speaker 1: just the hope. I was hanging on a hope, And

  Speaker 1: I'm talking about when it got real ugly and funky

  Speaker 1: out there for me, when it looked like I wasn't

  Speaker 1: gonna ever make it, and all of the facts was

  Speaker 1: in and everything pointed in the direction you not gonna

  Speaker 1: make it. You done really messed up this time. Then

  Speaker 1: I sat there and I just hung on to the hope.

  Speaker 1: But man, that's what I'm saying. If you got a

  Speaker 1: dream on aspiration or vision or something, when you fall

  Speaker 1: off track and you want to go get back in line,

  Speaker 1: God holds your place. See. He held on to that

  Speaker 1: for me. He knew I was off tracking, out of line,

  Speaker 1: but he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: to be on TV. Now, when you get it together
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: and you quit tripping and you come and you turn
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: to me, I'm gonna hold your place, put you back
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: in line. Then we're gonna finish the journey. That took
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: me a lot longer to get here than I wanted to.

  Speaker 1: But then it was necessary because I needed all of
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: them mishaps to happen to me along the way. So

  Speaker 1: when I got on the radio one day, which I
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: did not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.

  Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: this radio show that I didn't see coming now. I
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better I can tell
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: you about anybody. And I done been through enough whereas
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: really where enough people can go mad that happened to me.

  Speaker 1: Appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,

  Speaker 1: I get it now. See at the time, though I

  Speaker 1: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,

  Speaker 1: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: lot of stuff He was pulling off on me. But

  Speaker 1: in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.

  Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: there and did wrong. He forgave me, He said, because man,
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: for you that is going to be far and above.
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick of me. Goodn't sick
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: of me? And I turned it over to God. And

  Speaker 1: then God started working And here I am today. Now
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: He threw with me. Yet no have I arrived yet. Nope.

  Speaker 1: But guess what. The journey is cool. You know, it's

  Speaker 1: like I was talking to this young brother the other
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: day about comedy, and he's a really good stand up.

  Speaker 1: You know, this young dude is really good. He said, Man,

  Speaker 1: what is this I feel every night before I go

  Speaker 1: on stage. I don't know what it is. I just
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: want it off me. I said, sir, listen to me,

  Speaker 1: you young dude. This thing that climbs on my back

  Speaker 1: every night before I go on stage. I don't know

  Speaker 1: what it is. It's got something to do with pressure,
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: It's got something to do with anticipation. It's got a
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: whole lot to do with the fear of falling. He said.

  Speaker 1: What you mean by that? I say, every night I

  Speaker 1: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: and step off of cliff. I say, it's a sickening feeling.

  Speaker 1: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,

  Speaker 1: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now, these jokes provide

  Speaker 1: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: the cliff and I turned it into a glide, and
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: then I take the audience this way, and I swung
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: them back over that that way. We might swing out

  Speaker 1: to the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami

  Speaker 1: with this joke. We may take it on out to
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: LA and I just swing back and forth till I
• 6:23
  Speaker 1: land softly. The crowd cheers. The night is over with,

  Speaker 1: I said, but it's been too many nights though. When
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: I walked off that cliff and I pulled the cord
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: and the parachute didn't open, I said, Now I'm just
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: free falling out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working.

  Speaker 1: Ain't the parachute didn't open. I said, So see that's
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: what it's like for me. And then you know what
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: I found out. If you done walked off the cliff
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: in life and you ain't got no guard in your life,
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: it's like not having a parachute. You step off the
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: cliff and you just free falling. Now see we all
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: now that fog gets you closer to the grave, right, see,

  Speaker 1: we all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.

  Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is

  Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God

  Speaker 1: here a parachute. You still going down, but it's a

  Speaker 1: nice ride. And God just helps your descent appear more

  Speaker 1: like a rise and the more like a euphoric fall,

  Speaker 1: instead of not having no God in your life and
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: you just walking off that cliff every day, free falling.

  Speaker 1: Ain't got no cord, you steady pulling, you hollering the

  Speaker 1: whole way because you to mess around with yourself, and

  Speaker 1: ain't let God come into your life and provide a
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: parachute for you. I would rather have a parachute since

  Speaker 1: I got to jump every day than to not have one.

  Speaker 1: God has been like a parachute for me. Ask me
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: why where that came from. I can't tell you, But

  Speaker 1: like I always say, most good things that happen in
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: my life that I can't explain is usually him. You're
