Chanukah: Return of the King Video 6 Candle 5 - Never Give In
OK. It is crystal clear by now that Jesus is teaching about His return using the sequence of events in 1 Maccabees 2. It is too amazing. The exact order in 1 Maccabees 2 is the exact order in Matthew 24:9-21. We don't get it since we are 1) not Jewish and 2) we are not taught the Bible in its historical context. But, the Lord is doing something new. He is doing something to bring us who are behind the curtain, behind the veil, to see more clearly.
