- 0:00So today, you guys, I want to talk about this, all right?
- 0:04It's important. I haven't talked about some
- 0:06situations like these that happened to a lot of women.
- 0:09Something similar happened to me in the 90s.
- 0:12I'm going to talk about it today.
- 0:13So hang on. To be clear, my incident was not
- 0:16Puff Daddy, not at all. But you guys need to know
- 0:21there's a reason that women don't come forward.
- 0:25I just did a love call the other day with a woman who who got me
- 0:28on the phone because she had dated a very, very famous
- 0:31celebrity and he'd been jerking around doing different things.
- 0:36And, and she says, well, and I said to her, this is what they
- 0:39do. They a lot of things that feel
- 0:43and seem unbelievable are true. And she said, why don't more
- 0:46women come forward? Why don't women come forward?
- 0:49If this is true, how come women aren't talking about it?
- 0:52And again, not talking about the PDD incident, OK, Just talking
- 0:56about these stories that do eventually make their way out.
- 1:01And it's by one brave woman who's willing to tell the story
- 1:04or video footage that comes out. And then everybody goes, well,
- 1:08if this is true, where are all the other women?
- 1:11You walk amongst the other women.
- 1:13Trust me, plenty of women. The reason women don't come
- 1:16forward, they don't want their lives blown up.
- 1:19They want to move on. There's fear, there's shame.
- 1:24And the truth of the matter is, whoever has the most money,
- 1:29whoever is the craziest, willing to scream the loudest from the
- 1:32rooftops, or has the most money so that their team will scream
- 1:36from the rooftops on their behalf, that's who wins, whether
- 1:40it's true or not. Whoever has the most money and
- 1:43resources and is willing to scream the loudest will always
- 1:49win, whether it's true or not. So let's talk about my story.
- 1:52I'll share it with you guys today.
- 1:56I'm still hesitant, but I'm going to do it.
- 1:57So let's do this. So back in the early 90s, I was
- 2:02new to Hollywood, West Hollywood.
- 2:03I was a flight attendant and I was dating up a storm and I
- 2:07happen to cross paths with this guy at a nightclub that he this
- 2:12was like no guy I've ever met before.
- 2:14He was rough and rowdy and he was on the cusp of putting out a
- 2:19song that would go on within me meeting him over a period of
- 2:23weeks. His song came out and it blew
- 2:26up. It was the biggest song of the
- 2:29time and it's still one of the biggest probably songs ever
- 2:34still to this day. OK.
- 2:36And I was dating him and he wasn't treating me right and I
- 2:39was putting up with it. Things I never, never want you
- 2:43ladies to put up with or do now, OK, But I had a final incident
- 2:48with him that went like this. It's pretty horrific.
- 2:50So get ready. And if you're easily triggered,
- 2:52you may not want to watch any further.
- 2:55All right, so I flew out to meet him because he was, I'm not
- 3:02going to say what he was doing on this particular occasion
- 3:05might give it away, but he was somewhere out of town traveling
- 3:11for whatever reason, and I flew there on my own dime.
- 3:14Huge mistake. You know, if a man doesn't want
- 3:16you, don't go, don't push yourself.
- 3:18And he was just, it was horrible treatment I should have never
- 3:21put up with. All right, but I didn't know
- 3:22better. Anyway, I flew out to meet him.
- 3:25I stayed in the hotel with him. He wasn't treating me right.
- 3:28We got into a huge fight, a huge, huge, huge fight.
- 3:32And it escalated. So I finally said something that
- 3:36really pissed him off. He grabbed me by the hair, drug
- 3:38me into the bathroom, in front of the bathroom mirror.
- 3:42He threatened to shave my head. I don't know why that's a thing
- 3:44with them, but it is, apparently.
- 3:46And then when that wasn't good enough, he didn't shave my head.
- 3:49He pulled out a loaded handgun from his bag and threatened,
- 3:53held it to my head, threatened to pull the trigger.
- 3:57I'm screaming, I'm screaming, I'm crying, I'm begging for my
- 3:59life. He didn't do anything, thank
- 4:01God. It didn't escalate beyond that.
- 4:03I, I apologized profusely. I apologized to him.
- 4:08I gathered up my stuff and I, I slept actually in the corner of
- 4:13the room all night while he slept in the bed because I was
- 4:16just too scared to make a move. You get paralyzed by fear.
- 4:18You don't know what to do. The last thing I'm going to do
- 4:22is call the police because I was too scared.
- 4:26I'm still don't want to. I don't want to poke the bear.
- 4:29I don't want to say who he is. Lot of people do know.
- 4:32I told people over the years privately, absolutely.
- 4:35But do I want to make this public?
- 4:36Absolutely not. This is why women don't because
- 4:40you don't win. Usually you become the bad guy.
- 4:43You ladies a lot of times want to believe these guys,
- 4:46especially the cuter they are, the more famous they are.
- 4:49You want to get behind them. Oh, he's the hero and his team
- 4:52makes him out to be the hero, and then the woman is suddenly
- 4:55the villain and you ladies buy into it.
- 4:58Don't. The more outrageous the story
- 5:01sounds, the more unbelievable, the more outrageous.
- 5:04It sounds like she is the bad guy.
- 5:06Usually, the more true it is that he has done the deed he's
- 5:12been accused of. OK.
- 5:13And I hate to say that, but I'm just speaking for experience.
- 5:15And I'm speaking for women who are too afraid, who don't maybe
- 5:19even have a platform like I do. Stand by the women usually.
- 5:23It's almost always always true. All right, I hope this helps
- 5:26somebody today. I hope it helps.
