- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So today I want to talk to you about a question that I got from
- 0:33a client and she said to me, you know, I don't know what I want
- 0:38to do. I feel like I am completely and
- 0:41totally in the state of, you know, Discovery maybe or despair
- 0:46because I don't know what to do. I keep thinking, I know what I
- 0:49want to do but then when I try it, I'm not excited about it.
- 0:53And I keep going down this Rabbit Hole, so to speak of
- 0:56being lost and not knowing what I want to do.
- 0:59I think a lot of us are like that.
- 1:00That I know sometimes for myself, I feel that way.
- 1:03I think it's very common. I think a lot of us have
- 1:08multiple things. We're interested in.
- 1:10Therefore, we feel like we're directionless a lot of times,
- 1:13and we don't know what way to go, and I think it is so common
- 1:20in the, in human nature, to always be looking for what's
- 1:24next or what's better? Or what could be better, or
- 1:27where should I go from here? That we think That means we're
- 1:31lost and I'm here to tell you. It doesn't mean you're lost at
- 1:34all. It's actually is an opportunity.
- 1:37It's exciting. It's something that you can look
- 1:40at and say this is not a bad thing.
- 1:43I mean, trust me not a bad thing.
- 1:47If you stay there forever, then it's a bad thing.
- 1:50But when you're just there and it's a temporary thing or it's
- 1:54for a short period of time. It's okay because you have to
- 1:59change the language around it. You have to Change your beliefs
- 2:01around it and you have to look at it.
- 2:02Like I am in a state of possibility.
- 2:05I am in a state of open to all the opportunities that are
- 2:10showing up with me and and be in an energy of excitement of what
- 2:14that can bring to you. So again this is all about your
- 2:20perspective and I know we've talked about that before but I
- 2:24can't drive this home enough and when this question came up about
- 2:28like you know, what do you do when you just feel like you
- 2:30don't know. To do and you feel like you're
- 2:32just you know, it all over the place.
- 2:36Look at it from a different point of view instead of saying
- 2:39it's a bad thing. Say this is a great thing.
- 2:41I'm in a wild state of possibility.
- 2:42Right now I can go in any direction I want.
- 2:45I can create whatever I want, I can move in any direction I
- 2:48want, I could build out the current business.
- 2:51I'm in, I could create a new business, I could get a new job.
- 2:54I could create anything that I want in my life, even if it's
- 2:56just down to something simple like, you know, creating a piece
- 2:59of art or making a quilt or learning how to cook or doing
- 3:03anything that excites you it adds. 30, when you have
- 3:08possibility framework in your brain, you are going to be much
- 3:13easier on yourself and you're going to be in that state of
- 3:16what do I always say curiosity? Because curiosity is the power
- 3:21State curiosity, is such a gift. And when we are in a state of
- 3:24curiosity, we have absolute power because we can look at
- 3:29things and we don't put it all on ourselves to say, I've got to
- 3:32make a decision because we're just in state of curiosity and
- 3:36You're curious, you ask better questions, you show up, better
- 3:39you for yourself, you show up better for others, you don't
- 3:43make judgments and you're just collecting information, you're
- 3:45curating things. So I want to, I want to
- 3:50emphasize that when you're in this, one of the tools that is
- 3:53very important and primarily something that I use
- 3:58consistently, it's grab a notebook, grab a journal, start
- 4:02writing things down, what are all my possibilities?
- 4:04What are my Curious thoughts? What?
- 4:06Are the things that I need to be thinking about doing paying
- 4:10attention to because or or even the thoughts, just even if it's
- 4:14just a conscious stream of thought running and you write it
- 4:17on the paper. You know, that exercise in
- 4:20itself when your brain is on overload and you sit down, you
- 4:23grab a pen paper and you just start putting it in.
- 4:25You just start writing. What are all my random thoughts?
- 4:28Once you see them on paper, you can say, well, this is bullshit
- 4:31or this is good. You can say, I want to keep this
- 4:33or I want to get rid of it. You can say, well, this is
- 4:35absolute. I don't even want to keep that
- 4:37here. This is dumb.
- 4:38I don't want to think this again, it makes it so much
- 4:41easier to sort out all the things that are running in your
- 4:44head and oftentimes where the problem with being in the state
- 4:49comes in is when you're staying in your head by yourself, Boy,
- 4:54that is very much a place of, you know, danger, danger danger,
- 5:01because it allows you to believe what you're thinking and what we
- 5:05think is not always true, you know.
- 5:08This is how people get into trouble.
- 5:09This is how people get into despair.
- 5:11This is how depression develops. It's one of those points where
- 5:14when you don't share with other people, when you don't have a
- 5:17safe place to share with other people, even if it's on paper,
- 5:22as simple as on. Gets it out of your head, it's a
- 5:25beginning and I can't tell you how much I encourage my clients
- 5:29to do this, encourage all of you to do this, because it will help
- 5:33you sort it out. So, rather than go into a state
- 5:37of, oh, no, go into a state of curiosity, go into a state of
- 5:42possibility, reframe this, for yourself, put it on paper, start
- 5:47to like, you know, process it. And actually find somebody that
- 5:52even you that you can even sit down with and brainstorm about
- 5:55this with. But pick somebody that, you
- 5:57know, has a more positive frame of mind, don't go to the person
- 6:01that's going to be like, oh, you know, the Debbie Downer of it
- 6:04all and not wanting to see possibilities with you.
- 6:07Pick somebody that, you know, is great to share with.
- 6:10And if you can't, if you don't let say, you don't know
- 6:13somebody. I'm telling you, if you go and
- 6:15you start looking, even if you go to meetup.com and you start
- 6:18looking for, you know, groups on there that are all about
- 6:22manifesting. Goal setting and all that you
- 6:24will find something, there it is.
- 6:26Absolutely one of the best resources out there.
- 6:29If you've never tried it meeting.
- 6:30Meetup.com is amazing, put in your zip code, and you'll find
- 6:35something, but don't keep it in your own head.
- 6:38Okay? So gets busy get working on it
- 6:41and I will see you guys tomorrow.
- 6:44Have a very blessed day. My friends.
- 6:46Bye.
