SUV Rescued from Buck Creek | Dayton News
A Springfield Fire Rescue team raced to pull a stranded driver from a red SUV stuck in Buck Creek after heavy rains swelled the water—so high and fast, even their big trucks couldn’t reach. A rescue swimmer, tethered for safety, waded into the rushing current, helped the driver into a life vest, and pulled them safely to shore. Though unharmed, the driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
