- 0:02Speaker 1: Apostle Fermi Lazarus is a man raised by God to
- 0:06Speaker 1: demonstrate his wisdom and authority to the last day church.
- 0:10Speaker 2: He is the lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church.
- 0:13Speaker 1: And God told him years ago that a time will
- 0:16Speaker 1: come where my wisdom will be needed to navigate tough
- 0:19Speaker 1: times in.
- 0:20Speaker 2: The body of Christ.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Then I will cause your voice to be heard and
- 0:26Speaker 1: all who pay attention to my word on your lips
- 0:29Speaker 1: will not lack light and direction. He is a man
- 0:33Speaker 1: sent from God, sent to raise God's end time hours.
- 0:38Speaker 1: With Apostle Fermi Lazarus, every minute counts as you listen attentively.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 0:48Speaker 3: We give you all the praise. In Jesus' mighty name,
- 0:56Speaker 3: we have prayed. So let's trace from the very beginning.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Why did Jesus come in the first place? Why was
- 1:07Speaker 3: it necessary for him to come and die? Turn your
- 1:12Speaker 3: Bibles to the book of Romans chapter number 3. Romans
- 1:16Speaker 3: chapter number 3. If you are there, say Amen. I'll
- 1:24Speaker 3: start the reading from verse 10. Romans chapter number 3
- 1:29Speaker 3: from verse 10. This is the basis. The basics of
- 1:34Speaker 3: the gospel. That we have received. It said as it
- 1:37Speaker 3: is written. There is none righteous. No not one. There
- 1:41Speaker 3: is none that understands. There is none that seek God.
- 1:44Speaker 3: They are all gone out of the way. They are
- 1:47Speaker 3: all together become unprofitable. There is none that does good.
- 1:51Speaker 2: No not one. Their truth is an open sepulcher. With
- 1:56Speaker 2: their tongue. They have used deceit.
- 2:00Speaker 3: The poison of hasp is under their lips, whose mouth
- 2:04Speaker 3: is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift
- 2:08Speaker 3: to shed blood. Destruction and misery are in their ways.
- 2:13Speaker 3: And the way of peace have they not known? There
- 2:16Speaker 3: is no fear of God.
- 2:17Speaker 2: In their eyes.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Let me jump a bit to verse 21 just for
- 2:25Speaker 3: the sake of time. But now the righteousness of God
- 2:28Speaker 3: without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law
- 2:32Speaker 3: and prophet, even the righteousness of God, which is by
- 2:35Speaker 3: faith of Jesus Christ to all and on all them
- 2:40Speaker 3: that believe.
- 2:41Speaker 2: For there is no difference.
- 2:43Speaker 3: For all have sinned and come short of the glory
- 2:46Speaker 3: of God, being justified freely by his grace through the
- 2:51Speaker 3: redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Whom God has set forth.
- 2:56Speaker 3: To be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to
- 3:01Speaker 3: declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are
- 3:04Speaker 3: past through the forbearance of God.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Amen.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Now, as we start reading Romans 3, when you read
- 3:15Speaker 3: there is none that is righteous, there is none that
- 3:17Speaker 3: seeks God, there is none, they've all become unprofitable.
- 3:22Speaker 2: That is describing our state without Christ. Amen.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I'd like to give very simple illustrations. Can I have
- 3:34Speaker 3: three men, please? Let's give them a big hand.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Okay. Thank you. Can I have one to my right?
- 3:44Speaker 2: Thank you. And the two, please come closer. Same arrangement.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Something had happened. Please pay very keen attention. Long before
- 3:57Speaker 3: man Was ever created. There was a being.
- 4:02Speaker 2: In heaven. Called Lucifer. Luciferian. Are you with me? Are
- 4:12Speaker 2: you sure? Why are you wearing black? To compliment the illustration. Fantastic.
- 4:19Speaker 2: God knows that it is today. So this guy. Decided.
- 4:27Speaker 3: That he wants to be like God. He said he
- 4:31Speaker 3: wants to take his seat and be like the Most High.
- 4:35Speaker 3: And he was able to lure a very large.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Number of angels. So, the Bible said there was no
- 4:43Speaker 2: place found for him in heaven. So he fell. Over time,
- 4:48Speaker 2: God came.
- 4:50Speaker 3: And in Genesis 1 verse 26, the Bible said, God said,
- 4:54Speaker 3: let us make man In our own image and after
- 4:56Speaker 3: our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of
- 5:00Speaker 3: the sea, over the bird of the fowl of the hair,
- 5:02Speaker 3: and every creeping thing, the cattle of the field, and
- 5:05Speaker 3: every creeping thing that creeps upon the face of the earth.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So this is man. In whose image did God make
- 5:11Speaker 2: this guy?
- 5:13Speaker 3: In his own image. What did this guy want to get?
- 5:17Speaker 3: He wanted to be like God. What this guy couldn't
- 5:21Speaker 3: get is what God gave this guy.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Are you with me?
- 5:28Speaker 3: Now, there was hot jealousy between this guy and this guy.
- 5:34Speaker 3: To see a being wouldn't have to labor to be
- 5:37Speaker 3: like God. He was made to be like God before
- 5:41Speaker 3: he could make a choice. Why should it be? And
- 5:45Speaker 3: this guy decided, I am going to destroy everything God
- 5:52Speaker 3: intends to see in him. I will make sure that
- 5:56Speaker 3: this guy will never be on the side of God. Rather,
- 5:59Speaker 3: he will be on my side. So, in the book
- 6:03Speaker 3: of Genesis chapter number 3, when Eve, please follow the
- 6:07Speaker 3: illustration carefully, was left alone in the garden, the Bible
- 6:10Speaker 3: said the serpent came, he deceived her.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Okay? The serpent did what? Deceived her. Okay? Paul, writing
- 6:19Speaker 2: Epistle to Timothy, said.
- 6:21Speaker 3: The man was not deceived, but the woman being deceived
- 6:24Speaker 3: was in transgression.
- 6:25Speaker 2: So when, pay attention to this. So, when Eve was
- 6:31Speaker 2: deceived by the devil, this guy came, Adam.
- 6:39Speaker 3: He saw that Eve had eaten what God said they
- 6:43Speaker 3: should not eat, and he knew that she will die. So,
- 6:49Speaker 3: The fall of Eve was deception. The fall of Adam
- 6:53Speaker 3: was a choice. At this point, he preferred to.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Die with the bride.
- 7:00Speaker 3: So in making that decision, man entered transgression and the
- 7:04Speaker 3: both of them came to the side of the devil.
- 7:11Speaker 3: The issue with this illustration is not the fall of Adam.
- 7:19Speaker 3: But the fall of this guy.
- 7:22Speaker 2: You know why?
- 7:23Speaker 3: Because when he fell, we're all still in his loins.
- 7:29Speaker 3: If we want to take a bit of time, I
- 7:32Speaker 3: would have loved to tell you something about the timing
- 7:34Speaker 3: of temptation. The devil made sure that the temptation could
- 7:39Speaker 3: not be forever. It must be between the time frame
- 7:41Speaker 3: before man produced temptation. Because if he had produced in
- 7:48Speaker 3: the righteous state, he has a righteous seed. The damnation
- 7:52Speaker 3: will be to him alone, but the seed can continue. So,
- 7:57Speaker 3: when he sinned, we all sinned. For all have sinned
- 8:02Speaker 3: and come short of the glory of God.
- 8:05Speaker 2: How many people sinned? All. Where were we when he sinned?
- 8:07Speaker 2: We were in his loins. Are you with me now?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Out of true one man's disobedience, death entered the world.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Sin entered the world and death through sin So, we
- 8:19Speaker 3: all sinned. And years went by. The issue with this
- 8:24Speaker 3: thing is that it doesn't matter the man that came
- 8:30Speaker 3: from Moses to David to Abraham to all of them.
- 8:34Speaker 3: As long as they came in this package before.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Christ, they were sinners. What did I say? They were
- 8:43Speaker 2: all sinners. Because Sin here is not an act. It
- 8:52Speaker 2: is a nature.
- 8:53Speaker 3: And that's why when you read Romans chapter number 1,
- 8:56Speaker 3: Romans 2, Romans 3, the bulk of the illustration that
- 9:00Speaker 3: was used on the subject sin is a noun, not
- 9:03Speaker 3: a verb.
- 9:05Speaker 2: It's a noun.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Both of you form a cycle. Join your hands together.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Form a cycle with him. Pastor Toby, join them. I
- 9:19Speaker 3: want you to understand this in a simpler state. Pastor Joker,
- 9:24Speaker 3: please come. Now spread out a bit. Enter this cycle.
- 9:29Speaker 3: You know that song you guys used to sing, who
- 9:31Speaker 3: is in the garden?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Okay. But this is not that. So this is the
- 9:37Speaker 2: nature of.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Man. And this nature is sin. It doesn't matter what
- 9:50Speaker 3: man it is. Abel, David, Moses. They had the nature
- 9:58Speaker 3: of sin. There was nothing you could do right. This
- 10:02Speaker 3: is your nature.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Are you with me now?
- 10:06Speaker 3: So man could not pay the price for what he
- 10:08Speaker 3: has done. And because of that sin, death penalty was
- 10:11Speaker 3: passed on man.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So God saw this.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Situation that man had sinned. Man could not pay. So
- 10:20Speaker 3: what God did was that God became man. Now, the
- 10:28Speaker 3: issue of Jesus coming as a man, you will think
- 10:31Speaker 3: it is a simple thing.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Except that he will never leave the state of man forever.
- 10:41Speaker 2: So when the Bible says, for God so loved the
- 10:43Speaker 2: world that he.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Gave his only begotten son. You see that title, only
- 10:46Speaker 3: begotten son. He will lose it for life. Because there
- 10:49Speaker 3: will be many begotten.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Not only. Now we are also begotten of the father. Amen.
- 10:56Speaker 2: So Jesus is not the only begotten son of God.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Not anymore.
- 10:59Speaker 3: We all are sons right now. He gave up that
- 11:02Speaker 3: title for us. Are you with me now?
- 11:04Speaker 2: So God.
- 11:08Speaker 3: In Christ became man.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And he has one assignment.
- 11:19Speaker 3: That the penalty of what man did, that man could
- 11:25Speaker 3: not afford to pay, will be passed on him. A
- 11:29Speaker 3: man without a blemish, without spot, without wrinkle. Give me
- 11:36Speaker 3: the book of Hebrews chapter number 4 verse 15. Please
- 11:39Speaker 3: pay attention to this illustration. Hebrews 4 verse 15.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Look at this. 4 verse 15.
- 11:44Speaker 3: For we have not an high priest which cannot be
- 11:46Speaker 3: touched to it, with the feelings of our infirmities, but
- 11:50Speaker 3: was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
- 11:53Speaker 3: The significance of this scripture is, all it takes for
- 11:57Speaker 3: man to be doomed for life is for God became.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Man to know sin.
- 12:10Speaker 3: If Jesus had sinned once, how many times did Adam sin?
- 12:15Speaker 2: Once.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Once.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It means the second Adam is compromised.
- 12:21Speaker 3: So in his day-to-day life, in his day-to-day living, the
- 12:25Speaker 3: fate of humanity was hanging in the balance. Death is
- 12:30Speaker 3: death as powerful as it will be. It will be
- 12:33Speaker 3: of no effect if it is their sin.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Are you with me? Have I lost you? Are you sure?
- 12:42Speaker 2: Is it still clear to this point? Is it still clear?
- 12:46Speaker 3: Now, in the Old Testament, in the era of the law,
- 12:50Speaker 3: they did many things to write down the book of
- 12:53Speaker 3: Hebrews chapter number 9, Hebrews chapter number 10.
- 12:55Speaker 2: You want to study.
- 12:57Speaker 3: But for the sake of understanding, hold on a minute.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Let me read a few scriptures. Turn your Bibles quickly.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Hebrews chapter number 9 now. Are you learning something?
- 13:08Speaker 2: Are you sure?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Now, the end of this is, anybody who is seated
- 13:14Speaker 3: under my teaching today, you will be able to.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Share the gospel with anyone without fear.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Amen. Now, look at this. Let's turn to Hebrews chapter
- 13:28Speaker 3: number 9. Let's start the reading from, let's start from
- 13:34Speaker 3: verse 1 so that I can get you to understand.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Then verily the first covenant hath also ordinances of divine
- 13:41Speaker 3: service and worldly sanctuary.
- 13:42Speaker 2: The first covenant talks about the error of the law.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Ayudmi now.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Good verse 2 now for there was a tabernacle made
- 13:49Speaker 3: the first wearing was the candlestick and the table and
- 13:53Speaker 3: the shoe bread which is called the sanctuary verse 3
- 13:56Speaker 3: and after the second veil the tabernacle.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Which is called the holiest of all yes which are the.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Golden censer the ark of covenant overlaid round about with
- 14:04Speaker 3: gold wearing was the golden pot that had manna and
- 14:07Speaker 3: Aaron's rod that budded and the tables of covenant now
- 14:10Speaker 3: when you read you try to understand the ark of
- 14:12Speaker 3: covenant I'm not getting I'm not understanding don't worry You
- 14:18Speaker 3: will understand that old ordinances as you will read Hebrews
- 14:21Speaker 3: 9 and 10. They were explained there. So when you
- 14:24Speaker 3: read Leviticus, you don't understand, don't worry. Go to Hebrews 9.
- 14:28Speaker 3: You see, the Old Testament is the shadow of the
- 14:30Speaker 3: things to come. The lens through which we understand it
- 14:33Speaker 3: is the new.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Are you with me? Let's jump to verse 6 now.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Now these things were thus ordained, the priest went always
- 14:44Speaker 3: into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God, yes?
- 14:49Speaker 3: But into the second went the high priest once every year.
- 14:53Speaker 3: How many times every year?
- 14:54Speaker 2: Once every year. Look at it.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Not without blood, which he offered for himself and for
- 15:00Speaker 3: the hero. So in the old tabernacle, we have the holy,
- 15:03Speaker 3: we have the holies of holies. Some believe we have
- 15:05Speaker 3: three chambers. Well, the third one is the outer court.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Is that okay? Okay.
- 15:09Speaker 3: But semantically, we have two. But if we have the
- 15:12Speaker 3: altar court, three. We have the holies. So the priest
- 15:15Speaker 3: could do things that has to do with meat offering.
- 15:18Speaker 3: But the holiest of all, the high priest can only
- 15:22Speaker 3: enter how many times in a year? Once.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And he could not enter without what? Blood. For the
- 15:29Speaker 2: purging of his own sins too. He too is a sinner.
- 15:34Speaker 3: In fact, that high priest, they have to tie chains
- 15:37Speaker 3: around his leg so that in case he dies inside.
- 15:39Speaker 2: So the devil knows.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Okay, Jesus, if you are going to be the sacrificial lamb,
- 15:43Speaker 3: if you are going to be the high priest, if
- 15:47Speaker 3: this high priest, all we have to do is to
- 15:50Speaker 3: make this high priest like the old. Enter with the
- 15:53Speaker 3: blood but also with sin so that you will not
- 15:56Speaker 3: come out.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Are you with me?
- 15:59Speaker 3: But We have not an high priest who cannot be
- 16:02Speaker 3: touched with the feelings of our infirmities. Seeing that he
- 16:05Speaker 3: was in all points tempted like we are, and yet
- 16:07Speaker 3: without what sin. He did not sin so that he
- 16:10Speaker 3: could be able to offer the blood.
- 16:13Speaker 2: As a sinless priest once and for all. Not once
- 16:17Speaker 2: in a year. Once and forever.
- 16:21Speaker 3: So when he offered his blood, it was a sinless blood.
- 16:26Speaker 3: He could say that the prince of this world came
- 16:28Speaker 3: to me but found nothing of his in me.
- 16:30Speaker 2: There's nothing there.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Amen.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Now, look at it. Let's jump.
- 16:34Speaker 3: But in the second, when the high priest alone once
- 16:36Speaker 3: in a year, not without blood which he offered for
- 16:38Speaker 3: himself and for the errors of the people, the Holy Ghost,
- 16:41Speaker 3: this signifying that the way to the holiest of all
- 16:43Speaker 3: was not yet made manifest, while the first tabernacle was
- 16:47Speaker 3: still standing, which was the figure of time then present,
- 16:50Speaker 3: in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices that could
- 16:54Speaker 3: not make him that did the service perfect. As pertaining
- 16:58Speaker 3: to conscience. So what they were doing was that. They
- 17:00Speaker 3: were offering sacrifices. But they were not perfected by it.
- 17:04Speaker 3: If not by now.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Today Easter. All of you will have been here with chicken.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Depending on your sin. Depending on your sin. This one
- 17:13Speaker 2: I will say will be devil.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Now he will come with cow. The man of God
- 17:20Speaker 3: will come with. There is one bird. Small small bird.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Will have been offering these things.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Every time.
- 17:28Speaker 3: By now, all the pastors will have pot belly because
- 17:32Speaker 3: when you offer the dove, who eat it?
- 17:37Speaker 2: You know what the sons of Aaron were doing? They
- 17:40Speaker 2: were enjoying in those days. Everybody wants to be a Levite.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Oh yes.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Are you that you like meat like this? Just enter
- 17:51Speaker 3: that place and this one, it pleases the Lord. But
- 18:00Speaker 3: Jesus abolished all that. And sacrificed. Now, this is what
- 18:06Speaker 3: he did. By offering himself for us.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Okay?
- 18:13Speaker 3: Something happened now. And this is where it gets dicey.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Can I have another four guys? Any lady can join
- 18:20Speaker 3: if you want to. But let me have.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Please quickly. Form a cycle quickly. So now.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Through the sacrifice of Christ, he gave man a new nature.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Join your hands with them too. Which is just exactly
- 18:35Speaker 3: the way this one functions. But just that this is
- 18:37Speaker 3: something entirely different. Open the door. Now this is the
- 18:40Speaker 3: nature of righteousness. You did not earn this. He gave
- 18:47Speaker 3: you his own righteousness. You did not work for it.
- 18:53Speaker 3: You could not hem it. Righteousness is the ability to
- 18:57Speaker 3: stand right before God. So when we stand, now the
- 19:02Speaker 3: idea of this, and this is where the church gets
- 19:04Speaker 3: it wrong, is that you have this nature regardless of
- 19:08Speaker 3: your imperfection. When you were in this nature, regardless of
- 19:15Speaker 3: your perfection, you were a sinner. Now that you are
- 19:19Speaker 3: in this nature, It is not about your perfection or imperfection.
- 19:24Speaker 3: It is about His perfection. So when we share this gospel,
- 19:31Speaker 3: you say, are you now encouraging people to sin? No.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Because this nature is an enabler. It is an enabler.
- 19:40Speaker 3: When you have this nature, it moves you to do
- 19:44Speaker 3: what is right. It moves you to do what pleases God.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Give us that scripture. 2 Corinthians chapter number 5. Are
- 19:53Speaker 3: you learning something today? 2 Corinthians 5. Let's start from
- 19:56Speaker 3: verse 17. The popular one that everybody knows. Now, therefore,
- 20:00Speaker 3: if any man be in Christ, a new creature, all
- 20:01Speaker 3: things are passed away.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Behold, all things are become new. Yes, verse 18. Now,
- 20:06Speaker 2: all things.
- 20:08Speaker 3: And all things are of God who had reconciled us.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Somebody say, he had reconciled us.
- 20:13Speaker 2: That is, there's no.
- 20:14Speaker 3: More enmity between us and God. To himself, by Jesus Christ.
- 20:19Speaker 3: And had given to us the ministry of reconciliation. Verse
- 20:23Speaker 3: 19 now. To which that God was in Christ, reconciling
- 20:27Speaker 3: the world to himself. Not imputing their sins to them.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Listen to this.
- 20:32Speaker 3: It is not you telling the sinner that the sinner
- 20:34Speaker 3: is a sinner that saves the sinner. It is you
- 20:37Speaker 3: telling the sinner that Christ has died for you and
- 20:39Speaker 3: he has a new package for you. A sinner knows
- 20:42Speaker 3: that when he's smoking and doing those things, he will
- 20:44Speaker 3: go to hell. So threatening people with hell is not
- 20:48Speaker 3: actually going to get them saved. It is to show
- 20:50Speaker 3: them what Christ has done. Amen.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Let me tell you, people are tired of life. Let
- 20:58Speaker 2: me tell you something.
- 20:59Speaker 3: One time I was on a bus years back. I
- 21:04Speaker 3: noticed that the man was driving like he wants to die.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Thank God I was standing in front. So I held him.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I said, Baba, what's going on? That's how he broke
- 21:16Speaker 3: down in tears. I said, I'm tired of this life.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Ha! You are tired?
- 21:28Speaker 3: When the person who is tired of life drives you,
- 21:30Speaker 3: you know you are in trouble. I became a motivational
- 21:35Speaker 3: preacher throughout the journey started showing him not because i
- 21:41Speaker 3: really care but because i didn't want to die he
- 21:47Speaker 3: was tired of life so you see people like that
- 21:52Speaker 3: doing several things tell them they will go to hell
- 21:54Speaker 3: they will tell you where i am now is hell.
- 21:58Speaker 2: That's not the way to.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Get people saved God was in Christ, reconciling the world
- 22:03Speaker 3: to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them. So you see,
- 22:07Speaker 3: somebody has killed people all his life on his deathbed.
- 22:12Speaker 2: He said, Jesus, have mercy on me. Where will you go? Heaven. Straight.
- 22:18Speaker 2: What about all the astronauts? It's your business.
- 22:22Speaker 3: There are people you see in heaven, that's when you
- 22:24Speaker 3: will discover how wicked you are.
- 22:27Speaker 2: You say, eh? What are you... Go out now. And
- 22:36Speaker 2: then Jesus will come and say, I paid the price.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And you are not any better. I wanted to say something,
- 22:50Speaker 2: but it doesn't become headline. Let me just say this.
- 22:53Speaker 2: He gave a parable.
- 22:55Speaker 3: The one who came at the 11th hour, who came
- 22:57Speaker 3: at the 9th hour, they all received the same reward though.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Somebody will say, ah, Apostle, thank you for this OT
- 23:05Speaker 3: that you have given to me now.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Let me go and come back. You may not come back.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Because when you hug the devil, he will hold you
- 23:15Speaker 2: for long.
- 23:19Speaker 3: The moment we receive this nature, the affinity for sin dies.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Because we have a new nature. Now, look at this.
- 23:28Speaker 2: He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Verse
- 23:31Speaker 2: 20 now. Quickly. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ.
- 23:37Speaker 3: As though God did beseech you by us, we pray
- 23:41Speaker 3: you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God. Yes, verse
- 23:44Speaker 3: 21 now. For he had made him to be sin
- 23:46Speaker 3: for us, which knew no sin. That we might be
- 23:49Speaker 3: made what? Come on, loud and clear. that we might
- 23:53Speaker 3: be made what? The righteousness of God. In Christ, we
- 23:57Speaker 3: were made so on the account of his price. Not
- 24:02Speaker 3: on the account of our trying. On the account of
- 24:06Speaker 3: what he did.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Did you see it?
- 24:08Speaker 3: When Jacob was going to go to Isaac to get
- 24:10Speaker 3: the blessing, the mother clotted on him.
- 24:13Speaker 2: The skin of the ram she killed.
- 24:18Speaker 3: And when Isaac said, this is the flesh of Esau,
- 24:22Speaker 3: but the voice of Jacob. And he smelled the smell
- 24:25Speaker 3: of his remnant. And he said, the smell of my
- 24:27Speaker 3: son is as the smell of a field that the
- 24:29Speaker 3: Lord has blessed. This is the picture of what is
- 24:33Speaker 3: going to play out. That we can now therefore come boldly.
- 24:37Speaker 3: We have been clothed with his sacrifice. We can come boldly.
- 24:41Speaker 2: No longer afraid.
- 24:43Speaker 3: You can approach God and call him daddy. God is
- 24:48Speaker 3: not from a boomer show. And God is not for
- 24:51Speaker 3: me to say.
- 24:53Speaker 2: He is God.
- 24:55Speaker 3: One of the biggest expressions of him that was revealed
- 24:57Speaker 3: to us in the Bible is Abba.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Daddy. Some of us are too old to call him daddy.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Daddy me. If you have God's number, what would you
- 25:09Speaker 2: say his number with? Some would say with Palais. My G.
- 25:16Speaker 3: My G. I'm not sure you understood. We were once
- 25:23Speaker 3: children of the devil. And now we are sons of God.
- 25:28Speaker 3: God is my daddy. Imagine your name today is John
- 25:33Speaker 3: Aliko Dangote.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Right?
- 25:37Speaker 3: You can just come to church and say, Apostle, I
- 25:39Speaker 3: want my chair to be on the altar now.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Say, who are you? Say, I am John Aliko. But
- 25:45Speaker 2: imagine now that you are sons of God. You are
- 25:47Speaker 2: a child of God. That's your son name, Christ. Yes, sir.
- 25:57Speaker 3: We were good for nothing doomed to die until he
- 26:01Speaker 3: came and saved us look at how benevolent that saving
- 26:05Speaker 3: grace is it was a man was on his right
- 26:09Speaker 3: hand side on the cross he just stood down okay
- 26:12Speaker 3: today you dream in paradise a man of you have
- 26:15Speaker 3: not thought about that word today what he's saying is
- 26:19Speaker 3: i didn't take him three days to do what he
- 26:21Speaker 3: did in hell It didn't take him three days. You think, oh,
- 26:28Speaker 3: Jesus was in hell, fighting the devil.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Day one. Satan, I will beat you, I will beat
- 26:33Speaker 2: you too, day two. No, no, no, no. He did
- 26:36Speaker 2: it in one day. Stayed two extra.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Because he knows intelligent people will come. And they will say,
- 26:44Speaker 3: maybe he didn't die, he fainted. The Jews don't believe
- 26:49Speaker 3: that the soul is separated from the body until after
- 26:51Speaker 3: three days. He stayed three days to fulfill all righteousness.
- 26:57Speaker 3: But he did all he would do in a moment.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Spoiled principalities, spoiled powers, triumph over them publicly.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Listen to this.
- 27:13Speaker 3: There is actually nothing really special about rising from the dead.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Let me bust your bubble.
- 27:21Speaker 3: There's nothing special. In fact, Jesus is not the first
- 27:23Speaker 3: to rise from the dead. There was a guy that
- 27:27Speaker 3: died and they threw his body where the bones of
- 27:29Speaker 3: Elisha was. He came back to life. Even Jesus himself
- 27:33Speaker 3: had resurrected Lazarus. Jairus' daughter died. I mean, different examples
- 27:38Speaker 3: of people that died. But all those who died and
- 27:42Speaker 3: were raised from the dead died again. Heroes never to
- 27:49Speaker 3: die again. He triumphed over death for life.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Talk about Buddha. He's dead.
- 27:58Speaker 3: There's no religion in the world that talks about a
- 28:05Speaker 3: savior that is alive.
- 28:08Speaker 2: No religion. No religion. We are not serving late Jesus.
- 28:14Speaker 2: It is Jesus of Nazareth. Look at what it says
- 28:18Speaker 2: in Revelation. Let me give these people a big clap, please.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Go back to your seat.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Revelations chapter number 1. Revelations 1. Let's go to verse 18.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Revelations 1.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Is somebody getting blessed? Are you sure?
- 28:32Speaker 3: Say thank you Jesus. Come on say it again. Let's
- 28:39Speaker 3: start from verse 17 please. Revelations 1 from verse 17.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Revelations 1 from verse 17.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Look at it.
- 28:46Speaker 3: And when I saw him I fell at his feet
- 28:48Speaker 3: as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Say not to me, fear not. For I am the
- 28:53Speaker 3: first and the last. Verse 18 now.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Quickly. I am he that liveth and was dead. Not
- 29:01Speaker 2: is dead. Was dead. Glory. Was dead. And behold, I
- 29:08Speaker 2: am alive. Forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of
- 29:14Speaker 2: hell and death.
- 29:17Speaker 3: He did not just arise from the dead.
- 29:19Speaker 2: He took the keys. You know what that means? Nobody
- 29:23Speaker 2: can kill you. The key is with.
- 29:29Speaker 3: But do you know that semantically... How do I say
- 29:34Speaker 3: this now? Because we understand scriptures. Semantically, Jesus... is not
- 29:40Speaker 3: our father, he's our elder brother. Because we have become
- 29:44Speaker 3: joint heirs, fellow sons. How can we become the younger
- 29:49Speaker 3: brother of God and the son of God?
- 29:51Speaker 2: That's too much. That's too much.
- 29:55Speaker 3: You see, when he became flesh, I said he never
- 29:58Speaker 3: went back To stop being man.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Look at it.
- 30:01Speaker 3: 1 Timothy chapter number 2.
- 30:05Speaker 2: 1 Timothy chapter number 2. If you are there, say Amen.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I know you are not there. Oh, praise God. Hallelujah.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Now let's start the reading from verse 3 so you
- 30:20Speaker 3: can have a bit of background.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Look at this.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Say, for this is good. Talk about praying for kings,
- 30:26Speaker 3: for all in authority. Say, for this is good and
- 30:28Speaker 3: acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Yes? Who will have all men to be saved and
- 30:33Speaker 2: come to the knowledge of who?
- 30:35Speaker 3: Of what?
- 30:35Speaker 2: The truth. Why? For there is one God and one
- 30:39Speaker 2: Medetor between God and... Come on, say it again with
- 30:44Speaker 2: the what? Say it again, the what? Let me tell you,
- 30:48Speaker 2: it didn't end there.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Imagine now, Imagine that your direct elder brother just.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Becomes the president of Nigeria. That's what I'm about to
- 31:02Speaker 2: show you. Sit down.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Look at the book of Revelations chapter number 4.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Let me tell you.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Jesus did not just remain man till now. The entire
- 31:15Speaker 3: protocol of heaven is manned by men.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Till now.
- 31:19Speaker 3: On the account of his price. Revelation chapter number 4,
- 31:22Speaker 3: look at this. Around about the throne were four and
- 31:51Speaker 3: twenty seats. And upon the seat I saw four and
- 31:53Speaker 3: twenty elders sitting.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Plotting in white raiment. Number one.
- 31:55Speaker 3: White raiment means that they have been washed in the blood.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Angels were not washed in the blood. Only men were.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Oh God. They are elders. There is a throne seated.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Of Christ.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Then there is a twenty four people protocol around that throne.
- 32:15Speaker 2: And as they began to describe. The one on the throne.
- 32:19Speaker 2: is man. The elders are on the throne. Men.
- 32:24Speaker 3: It is the world of men. Clothed in white raiment.
- 32:30Speaker 3: And they had on their heads crown of gold. Crown
- 32:32Speaker 3: is for.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Those who overcame. That is, they lived, they saw, and
- 32:36Speaker 2: they conquered. Look at it. Alright?
- 32:40Speaker 3: Out of the throne proceeds, and before the throne, sea
- 32:43Speaker 3: of glass. Semantically, sea represents multitude.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Multitudes.
- 32:49Speaker 3: This was what the devil saw. This was what he
- 32:52Speaker 3: has always wanted. That he will be in the highest protocol.
- 32:56Speaker 3: But God reserved that place for you and I. That
- 33:00Speaker 3: now we are seated in Christ. Far above principalities and powers.
- 33:06Speaker 3: We have a better seat on his account. Don't live
- 33:10Speaker 3: in condemnation. Don't live in rejection. Look at what the
- 33:14Speaker 3: Bible says. Romans chapter number 8 from verse 1. Romans
- 33:17Speaker 3: 8 verse 1. Everyone say it one quickly. Let's read
- 33:20Speaker 3: this loud and clear.
- 33:21Speaker 2: One, two, three, go.
- 33:22Speaker 3: There is now therefore no condemnation to them who are
- 33:25Speaker 3: in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but
- 33:28Speaker 3: after the... You know, the devil is going to try
- 33:30Speaker 3: to remind you of your past. Your past is as
- 33:32Speaker 3: good as dead. Any man who is in Christ is
- 33:35Speaker 3: new creature. New means not put to use before. Apostle,
- 33:40Speaker 3: if only you know the things I've done. I've done
- 33:42Speaker 3: abortion before.
- 33:43Speaker 2: He said you are new. Oh, praise God. Let's give
- 33:52Speaker 2: Jesus a big hand one more time. You know, the
- 33:54Speaker 2: devil was too certain.
- 33:59Speaker 3: When Jesus was having his earthly ministry, the devil was
- 34:04Speaker 3: so threatened. And all the devil wanted to do was
- 34:08Speaker 3: to get rid of him as quickly as he could.
- 34:11Speaker 3: He wanted him out of the way. But he did
- 34:15Speaker 3: not know That in doing that, he was perfecting the
- 34:19Speaker 3: story of our salvation. So the devil later sat back
- 34:23Speaker 3: and regret. And the Bible said, if the princes of
- 34:26Speaker 3: this world had known. Did Jesus die? Yes. They forced
- 34:33Speaker 3: a crown of thorn to his head. That's not some
- 34:40Speaker 3: golden Christ.
- 34:40Speaker 2: That's not some musicians mocking God.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Listen.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Listen.
- 34:45Speaker 3: This is not the kind of crown made with, this
- 34:48Speaker 3: is not Versace or what they call it, crown.
- 34:51Speaker 2: It's not gushy tongues. It's not. It's real tongues. It
- 35:00Speaker 2: pierced his core.
- 35:03Speaker 3: The cane they used in flogging people in those days.
- 35:07Speaker 3: What is even serious about the cane is not the strike.
- 35:11Speaker 3: It is the fact that That Cain had on his hand.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Claws. In fact.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Bulk of those they want to crucify. Don't make it
- 35:22Speaker 3: a crucifixion. Because they would have lost all their. You
- 35:25Speaker 3: only have five liter of blood. It doesn't take so
- 35:27Speaker 3: much to lose it. So and they gave him.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Those strokes of Cain. And. It will wrap around him.
- 35:37Speaker 2: And the claws will fast there. And they will pull
- 35:40Speaker 2: it out. And.
- 35:41Speaker 3: And the Bible said for each of those scribes were healed.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Medically there are 30 categories of sicknesses. He took one
- 35:51Speaker 3: extra in case one comes later. For each category took
- 35:56Speaker 3: the stripes. And you know what they must have been
- 35:59Speaker 3: doing in hell?
- 36:01Speaker 2: Flog him! He's useless! Beat him! They forced him to
- 36:06Speaker 2: carry the cross. He carried that cross. And they nailed
- 36:11Speaker 2: his hands. Nailed his legs. And they hung.
- 36:15Speaker 3: The cross means rejected by the head. Rejected by heaven.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Hanging in between. He had to cry. They have rejected me.
- 36:22Speaker 3: My father, my father. Why have you two forsaken me?
- 36:25Speaker 3: He was not accepted anywhere. And one time he came
- 36:32Speaker 3: and said, I'm thirsty. And they forced vinegar to his mouth.
- 36:37Speaker 3: When he tasted it. The Bible said he yielded up
- 36:41Speaker 3: the ghost and said it is finished.
- 36:45Speaker 2: He died.
- 36:46Speaker 3: The moment he died, everywhere turned dark. What had never
- 36:51Speaker 3: happened before had happened. The caliber of man that had
- 36:54Speaker 3: never died before had died. When his blood touched the earth,
- 36:59Speaker 3: there was earthquake. Shackles everywhere. And they left his body
- 37:06Speaker 3: to hang. until Joseph of Arimathea said, give it to me.
- 37:12Speaker 3: And the mother of Jesus, Mary, Martha, Peter, they wept.
- 37:20Speaker 3: You know, when you lose people, you cry. They wept,
- 37:25Speaker 3: day one. They wept, day two. Let me show you
- 37:28Speaker 3: a scripture now. So when we look at Easter, we
- 37:35Speaker 3: are not here to celebrate... Or to cry.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Or to mourn. As painful as the story may sound. No.
- 37:43Speaker 2: We are here to celebrate triumph. Hallelujah. Now let me
- 37:50Speaker 2: show you something. Are you with me? Are you sure?
- 37:53Speaker 3: Now let's look at the book of Matthew chapter number 28.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Matthew chapter number 28. Let's start the reading from verse 1.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Matthew 28 from verse 1. And in the end of
- 38:04Speaker 3: the Sabbath. As it began the dawn. Towards the first
- 38:07Speaker 3: day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other
- 38:11Speaker 3: Mary to see the sepulcher. And behold, there was a
- 38:16Speaker 3: great earthquake. For the angel of the Lord descended from
- 38:19Speaker 3: heaven and came and rolled the stone from the door
- 38:27Speaker 3: and sat on it. That's the part that interests me
- 38:35Speaker 3: so much. When the angel rolled away the stone, sat
- 38:38Speaker 3: on it. The power that raised him is not hiding.
- 38:44Speaker 3: We take responsibility for it.
- 38:46Speaker 2: He sat on it. And his countenance was like light.
- 38:51Speaker 3: You couldn't kill Jesus. He laid down his life. The
- 38:54Speaker 3: person that they wanted to capture and say, who is Jesus?
- 38:57Speaker 3: He said, I am he, the offerer. He said, if
- 39:00Speaker 3: he pleased me, I would ask my father to send
- 39:02Speaker 3: legions of angels. He could say at any point, I'm not.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Doing it again.
- 39:11Speaker 3: And his countenance was like lightning, and his raiment as
- 39:13Speaker 3: white as snow. And for fear of him, the keepers
- 39:18Speaker 3: did shake and became as dead men. And the angel
- 39:22Speaker 3: answered and said to the women, Fear not you, for
- 39:25Speaker 3: I know that you seek Jesus, which was crucified.
- 39:29Speaker 2: He is not here. he is risen as he said
- 39:32Speaker 2: come and see the place where the Lord lay tell
- 39:35Speaker 2: your neighbor he is not here he is risen.
- 39:40Speaker 3: They came to see a corpse but he is risen
- 39:44Speaker 3: he died yes for day one yes day two yes
- 39:49Speaker 3: On the third day, the spirit of him that is
- 39:52Speaker 3: risen from the dead.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Came, forced him out of the grave.
- 39:57Speaker 3: So go quickly and tell the disciple that he is
- 40:00Speaker 3: risen from the dead. Now this is not just some
- 40:03Speaker 3: folklore tale. This is historically proven that a man called
- 40:08Speaker 3: Jesus once lived.
- 40:10Speaker 2: And there is no historical record of where his grave is.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Because he is not there.
- 40:15Speaker 3: And that's why we don't go to Israel to see
- 40:17Speaker 3: the bones and some.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Leftovers of Jesus. He rose from the dead.
- 40:27Speaker 3: And his own kind of resurrection is not the one
- 40:29Speaker 3: that they just open the door for him to come out.
- 40:31Speaker 2: He triumphed over death and took the keys.
- 40:36Speaker 3: That's why we call him the firstborn from the dead.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Because nobody has ever triumphed over death. When he died,
- 40:44Speaker 3: the Bible says that we died with him. And when
- 40:46Speaker 3: he rose, we rose together. In the same similitude.
- 40:50Speaker 2: He is alive. And that is the reason why we
- 40:52Speaker 2: are alive.
- 40:53Speaker 3: This is the foundation of our faith. We are not
- 40:56Speaker 3: serving a dead God. We are not serving a dead Messiah.
- 41:00Speaker 3: He rose from the grave.
- 41:04Speaker 2: This is where faith has its roots.
- 41:06Speaker 3: On the account of this, we can command certain things
- 41:09Speaker 3: to die. Our faith stems from the root of the
- 41:13Speaker 3: fact that it arose from the dead. We can anchor
- 41:16Speaker 3: our life on it. What is the hope that when
- 41:21Speaker 3: believers die now, that we don't mourn like unbelievers? That
- 41:25Speaker 3: we know that in fullness of time, we'll see them also.
- 41:28Speaker 3: It's just a matter of time. It's just a matter
- 41:30Speaker 3: of time. All your uncles, all the people you've once
- 41:32Speaker 3: known that are going to be with you, it's just
- 41:34Speaker 3: a matter of time.
- 41:35Speaker 2: One day soon, we'll be together again. Glory to God.
- 41:40Speaker 2: He rose. And we rose with him. Glory. Amen. He's
- 41:46Speaker 2: not dead anymore. He said, go tell them. Go tell them.
- 41:49Speaker 2: He's no longer here. Come see where he was laid.
- 41:52Speaker 2: And they got there.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Closed.
- 41:54Speaker 2: He's gone.
- 41:56Speaker 3: And when he got to the place where they were talking,
- 41:59Speaker 3: It was Thomas that was doubting him. And he said, Thomas,
- 42:02Speaker 3: I know men of your kind also will exist.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Come. And he said, trust your hand to my side.
- 42:08Speaker 2: It did. And he could feel the intestines, the livers.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I said, yes. I said, put your hand in the
- 42:14Speaker 2: holes of my hand. And he did. And it went through.
- 42:17Speaker 3: And Thomas, with his doubtful state, broke down in tears.
- 42:21Speaker 3: And he said something concerning us. Blessed is that generation
- 42:26Speaker 3: whom having not sinned.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Yet believe. He captured us there. We are that generation.
- 42:33Speaker 2: He is still with the scar as a token of
- 42:40Speaker 2: the blood.
- 42:41Speaker 3: When a man, when I want to marry my wife,
- 42:42Speaker 3: they say this is the bread price I paid. He
- 42:45Speaker 3: is the only groom whose bread price was his blood. Huh?
- 42:53Speaker 2: He is the only groom whose bread price was his what?
- 42:57Speaker 3: If anybody disrespect my wife you disrespect the highest height
- 43:02Speaker 3: of me if anybody disregard the bride of christ you
- 43:07Speaker 3: touch him where he will respond as a lion this
- 43:10Speaker 3: is the reason why you should not see yourself as
- 43:13Speaker 3: one that should be victimized you are the bride of
- 43:16Speaker 3: christ a price was paid so you see oppression i
- 43:22Speaker 3: said no he paid the price for this So let
- 43:26Speaker 3: me bring you to understand Romans 12. Why you didn't
- 43:28Speaker 3: understand it? Romans 12 from verse 1 now. I wrap
- 43:30Speaker 3: up there. Romans 12. I beseech you therefore brethren by
- 43:33Speaker 3: the mercy of God that you present your bodies living
- 43:36Speaker 3: sacrifice only unacceptable to which is your reasonable what?
- 43:40Speaker 2: Service.
- 43:40Speaker 3: Meaning that having paid everything it is only reasonable for
- 43:44Speaker 3: you to reciprocate. Imagine being married to a woman and
- 43:47Speaker 3: say I want to talk to you. It is reasonable
- 43:49Speaker 3: to present your body.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Reasonable. That's what makes sense. Amen.
- 43:57Speaker 3: So we have not just come this morning to say,
- 44:00Speaker 3: oh thank you Jehovah because he rose. The question is,
- 44:03Speaker 3: are you where he is? Have you accepted the sacrifice?
- 44:10Speaker 3: Have you accepted the price that he paid? Or will
- 44:13Speaker 3: that be in vain over you? One day so, at
- 44:20Speaker 3: the sound of the archangel, All the things we are
- 44:24Speaker 3: doing will be over one day soon. And the Bible
- 44:29Speaker 3: said that dead in Christ will rise first. And we
- 44:32Speaker 3: who are alive will also rise and meet with him.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Will you be there? It's a very important question. Will
- 44:40Speaker 3: you be there? Just like being in a garage doesn't
- 44:44Speaker 3: make you a car owner. Being in a church doesn't
- 44:46Speaker 3: make you a Christian. Have you accepted him as your
- 44:49Speaker 3: Lord and Savior? Have you confessed his Lordship? Have you
- 44:52Speaker 3: accepted the sacrifice, the price he paid? Or are you
- 44:57Speaker 3: nailing him to the cross the second time?
- 45:01Speaker 2: It is not a joke.
- 45:02Speaker 3: We have a reasonable service. And that is to present ourselves. Oh,
- 45:08Speaker 3: the reality of resurrection is beautiful. But it's only beautiful
- 45:11Speaker 3: in the life of the man who have accepted him.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Have you?
- 45:16Speaker 3: If Jesus comes now, Where are you going? When you
- 45:21Speaker 3: hear rapture, what comes to your heart? If you are afraid,
- 45:23Speaker 3: it means you are not giving your life to Christ.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Because rapture is the groom coming for the bride. And
- 45:29Speaker 3: I want us to bow our heads this morning. Even
- 45:32Speaker 3: as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. I want us
- 45:35Speaker 3: to bow our heads this morning. If there is somebody
- 45:41Speaker 3: here saying, I want to make commitment as a Christian
- 45:48Speaker 3: to serve God With my life. I want to give
- 45:51Speaker 3: my life to Jesus Christ.
- 45:54Speaker 2: As my Lord and Savior. Somebody is saying.
- 45:56Speaker 3: I have given my life to him. But I need
- 45:59Speaker 3: to rededicate my life. Quickly for the sake of time.
- 46:02Speaker 3: I won't call you out. But please be upstanding where
- 46:04Speaker 3: you are seated.
- 46:06Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. Don't be ashamed.
- 46:07Speaker 3: The one who died for you. Ung naked. As a
- 46:11Speaker 3: 33 and a half years old man.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Naked.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Every genitals was in the public. That's how he died
- 46:18Speaker 3: for you. All you have to do today is to
- 46:22Speaker 3: publicly affirm him as your Lord and Savior. He's not
- 46:26Speaker 3: asking for too much. He's not asking for too much.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Are you here?
- 46:30Speaker 3: Thank you for standing. You need to give your life
- 46:33Speaker 3: to Jesus Christ today. And accept the sacrifice. Maybe there's
- 46:36Speaker 3: still somebody. And the Holy Ghost is saying. You know
- 46:39Speaker 3: you should be up. You know I've been running after
- 46:41Speaker 3: you all your days. Just to make sure I call
- 46:43Speaker 3: you back home. Why are you still seated? Why are
- 46:45Speaker 3: you hiding yourself? Accept my love today. And be saved.
- 46:51Speaker 3: That's the essence of the season. That we accept. What
- 46:55Speaker 3: it paid the price for. That's the essence.
- 46:59Speaker 2: And if you're up standing. Say these words after me.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Lord Jesus. I believe.
- 47:05Speaker 3: That you came to this world to die for my sins.
- 47:09Speaker 3: I believe that you died for my sins. I also
- 47:14Speaker 3: believe that you rose on the third day for my justification. Today, Lord,
- 47:22Speaker 3: I confess you as my Lord and Savior. And I
- 47:28Speaker 3: accept this gift of eternal life in Jesus' name.
- 47:34Speaker 2: The Bible says when we have people say this, there
- 47:37Speaker 2: is a party in heaven. Come on now. There is joy.
- 47:40Speaker 2: And what do we do? We rejoice for souls. We rejoice.
- 47:47Speaker 3: You know one of my greatest joy is that every
- 47:50Speaker 3: day I have at least a soul to my account.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Every day. Every day. What a joy we have.
- 47:59Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Hallelujah. That we stand here knowing.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Are you aware that Christians are the only ones. With
- 48:06Speaker 3: hope of eternity that is sure.
- 48:10Speaker 2: That is sure. It's not mere religion. It's a call
- 48:14Speaker 2: to life. Lift your hands. Say thank you Jesus. Come
- 48:19Speaker 2: on say loud and clear. Thank you Jesus.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Thank you for the price you paid.
- 48:25Speaker 2: On the cross of Calvary. To save my soul. Thank
- 48:29Speaker 2: you Jesus. You want to rise on your feet. And
- 48:35Speaker 2: just bless him. Oh what a joy. What a joy.
- 48:40Speaker 2: That I can be called a child of God.
- 48:42Speaker 3: What a joy. With all the things I've done in
- 48:44Speaker 3: the past. When they thought my life was over. What
- 48:47Speaker 3: a joy. That I can be called a child of God.
- 48:49Speaker 2: What a joy. What a joy. Falling in love. Falling
- 49:04Speaker 2: in love with Jesus.
- 49:06Speaker 3: Falling in love with Jesus. is the best thing I
- 49:24Speaker 3: have ever done in his hands I feel protected in
- 49:32Speaker 3: his hands I feel protected in his hands Never disconnected.
- 49:47Speaker 3: In his hands. In his hands. I feel protected.
- 49:55Speaker 2: There's no place I'd rather be.
- 49:56Speaker 3: And there's no place I'd rather be.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Lift your hands and say thank you Jesus. Now listen
- 50:06Speaker 2: to this. Amen. As we Pull the curtain on the service.
- 50:12Speaker 3: Let me beg us. That the proof. Of our Christianity.
- 50:18Speaker 3: Should not be Sunday worship. And Tuesday Bible study. That
- 50:23Speaker 3: we live a life that bears witness.
- 50:25Speaker 2: To the fact that when he died. We died. And
- 50:28Speaker 2: when he rose. We rose again with him. Representing him
- 50:33Speaker 2: as ambassadors of God. Are you with me? In words.
- 50:38Speaker 2: And in deeds.
- 50:40Speaker 3: So that it will not be said in our lifetime.
- 50:42Speaker 3: That the worst people in the society are Christians. The
- 50:46Speaker 3: impact of this should affect our society at large. That
- 50:50Speaker 3: if you are placed in a place where you have
- 50:52Speaker 3: access to corruption.
- 50:54Speaker 2: You choose not to be corrupt. Because you know you
- 50:56Speaker 2: were bought with a price.
- 50:58Speaker 3: You have a place where you have access to do
- 51:00Speaker 3: what is wrong. You choose not to do it. Because
- 51:02Speaker 3: you know you are not your own. I have been
- 51:05Speaker 3: crucified with Christ. Nevertheless I live. Yet not high. The
- 51:10Speaker 3: life which I now live, I live by the faith
- 51:12Speaker 3: of the Son of God who died and gave himself
- 51:14Speaker 3: for me.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Hallelujah. So we have a.
- 51:17Speaker 3: Commitment to God. We don't just rejoice. We stay with
- 51:20Speaker 3: our commitment. Have you been blessed this morning? Let's give
- 51:23Speaker 3: Jesus a big, big, big hand. Now if there's anyone
- 51:29Speaker 3: here who came with a form of sickness on the
- 51:34Speaker 3: account of the power of the resurrection, I command that
- 51:39Speaker 3: that sickness leaves your body now. Anybody here who has
- 51:44Speaker 3: situations that requires power, let the power of the Holy
- 51:47Speaker 3: Ghost touch that situation. Your testimonies will be unbelievable. Thank you,
- 51:54Speaker 3: blessed Father. We bless your holy name. In Jesus' mighty name,
- 52:00Speaker 3: we are prayed. Let's give Jesus a big, big, big,
- 52:04Speaker 3: big hand.
