- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorite's presented by DraftKings. The Crown is yours.
- 0:14Speaker 1: We are an Action Network podcast and my cohort, Kendra Middleton,
- 0:17Speaker 1: is having a hard time keeping it together. Back at
- 0:20Speaker 1: it with the first lady of the pod, Miss Middleton,
- 0:22Speaker 1: Evin Abrams, keeping us in check as well. Top Twenty
- 0:25Speaker 1: continues our top twenty quarterbacks in the NFL. We're going
- 0:28Speaker 1: ten through one here and we will have Evan Abrams
- 0:31Speaker 1: grade it all at the end. We'll have these lists
- 0:35Speaker 1: posted on social media as well, so if two fifty
- 0:39Speaker 1: minute episodes are not for you and you just want
- 0:41Speaker 1: to digest it quickly, we'll give you the morsel as well.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Tom Brady was a man once on the top of
- 0:47Speaker 1: a list like this. Now he appears to be setting
- 0:50Speaker 1: himself up for a wrestling match with Logan Paul and look,
- 0:55Speaker 1: I am not anti pro wrestling, Kendra, but Brady feels
- 0:59Speaker 1: more like a color own ad than a main event
- 1:01Speaker 1: at SummerSlam.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Make it makes sense, Well, it's because he used to
- 1:05Speaker 2: be I remember when he was playing he was so
- 1:08Speaker 2: particular about who he would sign brand deals with the
- 1:11Speaker 2: only one that I think I can remember. I don't
- 1:13Speaker 2: remember if it was tag Heuer or Rolex, but he
- 1:15Speaker 2: was very particular. There were very few brands that I
- 1:19Speaker 2: saw Tom Brady sign and do ads with because he
- 1:21Speaker 2: didn't have to, and he doesn't have to do this now.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I can't decide if this is the definition of divorced
- 1:26Speaker 2: dad or if he truly is just willing to wore
- 1:29Speaker 2: himself out for any kind of money. And I do
- 1:31Speaker 2: think that this is embarrassing for him. It's tarnishing his legacy,
- 1:34Speaker 2: it's tarnishing his brand, and I get that it probably
- 1:36Speaker 2: has to do something with the marriage of fanatics. But
- 1:39Speaker 2: what's worse to me than the WWE deal is him
- 1:42Speaker 2: hawking pizza. A guy that refused to eat tomatoes for
- 1:46Speaker 2: his entire career is now hawking pizza. Hut to me, no, no, no,
- 1:53Speaker 2: sit down.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Thinking that he was in Subway commercials too, I believe.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Which is I think that that's less offensive in a
- 2:00Speaker 2: way because there's at least like some I don't know
- 2:03Speaker 2: if you want to use the word freshness about it,
- 2:05Speaker 2: because it's definitely some cloned shit, even the vegetables.
- 2:08Speaker 3: However, it was.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Kender Middleton that said that, by the way, I am
- 2:12Speaker 1: here for the I am here for the Subway endorsement. Okay,
- 2:16Speaker 1: you can.
- 2:17Speaker 2: You can at least be like, okay that you know,
- 2:19Speaker 2: pedophile Jared Guy lost all this weight with these sandwiches.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Maybe this is like somewhat healthy for some people out there.
- 2:25Speaker 2: This is them doing their best. You cannot tell me
- 2:27Speaker 2: that Pizza Hut is doing your best. Sit down and
- 2:30Speaker 2: shut up. I don't believe you. You are literally pouring yourself
- 2:32Speaker 2: out for a dollar, and I hate it.
- 2:34Speaker 1: He also did that the roast, which is equally is embarrassing.
- 2:40Speaker 2: No babes, they paid him thirty million dollars to do that.
- 2:45Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 2:45Speaker 2: They're paying him ten million dollars for this WWE crap.
- 2:49Speaker 3: But he doesn't need it. He doesn't need it.
- 2:52Speaker 1: He definitely doesn't need it. It's not like Giselle took
- 2:54Speaker 1: his money. She had more than he did, so.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta be honest. This is controversial. This is
- 2:58Speaker 2: so controversial. But if my significant other was if I
- 3:04Speaker 2: were Giselle, and I was like, all right, I was
- 3:07Speaker 2: the number one top person at my craft. I retired,
- 3:11Speaker 2: I settled down, I birth your children. I lived in Foxborough,
- 3:15Speaker 2: Massachusetts for twenty.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Years of my life.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And I was like all right, time to come home,
- 3:20Speaker 2: be a family man, get to know your kids, maybe
- 3:22Speaker 2: take a vacation. And you were like, you know what,
- 3:24Speaker 2: Tampa Bay, I would start screwing my BJJ instructor too.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Flipped my question in regards this is a philos philosophical
- 3:37Speaker 1: question about involving yourself in the WWE. Again, I am
- 3:42Speaker 1: a pro wrestling apologist more than anything else. Yet I
- 3:45Speaker 1: find myself cringing at this like the rest of you,
- 3:50Speaker 1: like people who look at pro wrestling as if you're
- 3:53Speaker 1: better than it. I'm not one of those people. Yet
- 3:56Speaker 1: I look at this and I'm like, this doesn't make
- 3:58Speaker 1: any fucking sense, and it's weird and it's awkward. Why
- 4:03Speaker 1: is it that I feel that way about Brady? Like
- 4:05Speaker 1: it's beneath Brady, but Bad Bunny was a part of it.
- 4:08Speaker 1: We've seen Floyd Mayweather be a part of pro wrestling.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I could go down the list of other celebrities that
- 4:14Speaker 1: have been part. Why is it that we are like.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I can tell you why this because they always cared
- 4:19Speaker 2: about it, and because Tom Brady is better than Logan Paul.
- 4:24Speaker 2: It's it's literally that he is better than Logan Paul.
- 4:26Speaker 2: He's better than some really crappy, staged slap at an
- 4:31Speaker 2: influencer event. He's better than flipping him off in some
- 4:34Speaker 2: weird bird off at the World Cup final in the
- 4:37Speaker 2: executive suites. It's because for his entire career he has
- 4:40Speaker 2: presented himself as the Rolex guy, the guy who Doesney Timbato,
- 4:44Speaker 2: who needs to have his.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Needs to have his possy with him all the time.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I found air pods. We're not interested.
- 4:53Speaker 3: It's his health posse around him.
- 4:56Speaker 2: And now he's hawking Pizza Hut and slapping Logan Paul
- 4:58Speaker 2: for a couple dollars. That's why at least bad Bunny.
- 5:01Speaker 2: And you know when Gronk did it for a minute,
- 5:03Speaker 2: they were fans. It fit their personality, it fit their
- 5:05Speaker 2: mo o, it fit their brand. Tom Brady is Rolelex
- 5:10Speaker 2: and you know nice steakhouses where they don't cook your
- 5:13Speaker 2: steak on anything other than a hot stone, and not
- 5:16Speaker 2: Pizza Hut in SummerSlam. I'm sorry, that's the difference that.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Uh well said Evan disagrees with all of this. By
- 5:23Speaker 1: the way, Evan, would you like to slam the gavel down?
- 5:28Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I'm just gonna say he was under the
- 5:31Speaker 4: Belichickian curse for twenty plus years, he won all these titles,
- 5:35Speaker 4: he goes to all these super Bowls, he's TB twelve,
- 5:38Speaker 4: He's got the methods. This is what led to the greatness.
- 5:41Speaker 4: He is now in freedom. This is what anyone did.
- 5:45Speaker 4: This feels the absolute most normal thing ever.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Like I actually this is hearing this essentially to someone
- 5:53Speaker 1: who's like left.
- 5:54Speaker 4: He's living his life like he's enjoying dad. But it's like,
- 6:00Speaker 4: it seems ridiculous that if I was Tom Brady and
- 6:03Speaker 4: I spent all these years eating nothing but avocado, and
- 6:07Speaker 4: it's like, now it's time to enjoy what you've done,
- 6:10Speaker 4: Like it's time for pro wrestling and stupid crap and
- 6:14Speaker 4: eating bullshit. And he's still gonna look the way he
- 6:17Speaker 4: is and he was hanging with the kids like he's
- 6:18Speaker 4: just living the dream now.
- 6:20Speaker 2: But does it not feel fake to you because that's
- 6:22Speaker 2: never been his personality.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Of course, because he was trying to win, and also
- 6:26Speaker 4: he couldn't under that the stupid team. If he would
- 6:28Speaker 4: have won all these titles with the Cardinals, I assume
- 6:31Speaker 4: it would have been a lot different, But.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I think it'll be it'll feel more genuine. He's gotta
- 6:37Speaker 1: get fat.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Do we have villogy?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Do we owe Bill in apology?
- 6:43Speaker 3: I'm asking if we do, because it's an apology. I
- 6:47Speaker 3: don't think so.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I think that it's giving divorced dad trying to stay
- 6:50Speaker 2: relevant and maybe you know, we owe Bill an apology
- 6:54Speaker 2: thinking he was the cringiest one in this scenario. But
- 6:57Speaker 2: really it takes two to tango, and they were both
- 6:59Speaker 2: cringy and weird and annoying, and it just happened that
- 7:01Speaker 2: they worked out together because they were the same type
- 7:03Speaker 2: of insane.
- 7:04Speaker 4: From what we since they both left builds got weird
- 7:08Speaker 4: ten times cringe ear I feel like than Tom, but
- 7:11Speaker 4: that's just me.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Put it on a poll. I'm curious to see what
- 7:16Speaker 1: Kendra's top ten quarterbacks look like. I'm confident we're going
- 7:19Speaker 1: to have some disagreement here. I'm also confident that if
- 7:22Speaker 1: you want to place a bet on any of these quarterbacks,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that the best place to do it is the DraftKings
- 7:26Speaker 1: Sports App.

- 8:11Speaker 2: While things are hat DraftKings, the crown is yours.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I'm to get back to the list again. If you
- 8:28Speaker 1: want to review eleven through twenty, we will have those
- 8:32Speaker 1: out for you on social media, or you can do
- 8:35Speaker 1: what any responsible adult would do and just listen to
- 8:40Speaker 1: the podcast. But let's get going with our top ten. Kendra,
- 8:44Speaker 1: back to you for the list. You guys, I fucked up.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I fucked up you guys, I fucked up.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I literally made fun of Justin Herbert, and I did
- 8:57Speaker 2: the exact same thing that he does, where I stared
- 8:59Speaker 2: at this list for days and for too long and
- 9:03Speaker 2: took him off of here and forgot to plug him
- 9:05Speaker 2: back in as I was doing my final reads. So
- 9:07Speaker 2: I originally had Sam Darnald here, but I'm going to
- 9:10Speaker 2: make it Sam Darnald slash Justin Herbert because I think
- 9:13Speaker 2: that they suck in the same way, so they can
- 9:14Speaker 2: kiss and sucking and slot ten.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Okay, there's a lot to unpack here. Justin Herbert. We
- 9:24Speaker 1: started to notice this as a collective, that his name
- 9:27Speaker 1: was nowhere to be found on Kendrick's list, and originally
- 9:30Speaker 1: I thought that this was intentional because she fucking hates him,
- 9:34Speaker 1: so it made sense. It was like, clearly, I will
- 9:37Speaker 1: disagree with it, but she's got her reasons.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I love Justin Herbert.
- 9:40Speaker 2: He gifted me the best night of my life when
- 9:43Speaker 2: the Jaguars that came back to win that game and
- 9:45Speaker 2: I was there in person and went to waffle house.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I love Justin Herbert. He gave me the best night
- 9:49Speaker 2: of my life. But it is because he.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Sucks, right, You appreciate him as a person you hate
- 9:54Speaker 1: him as a quarterback.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:56Speaker 1: And then so I guess this another layer to this.
- 10:00Speaker 1: So we said we started to notice that Justin Herbert
- 10:02Speaker 1: wasn't there, and then there was some wrestling around about
- 10:06Speaker 1: how do we get him back in because even though
- 10:08Speaker 1: you're not a big Justin Herbert Truther is there. Yeah,
- 10:11Speaker 1: he's top twenty quarterback. This is now bump Bryce Young
- 10:15Speaker 1: off of your list.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I think, yeah, he would be twenty one though. That's
- 10:22Speaker 3: that's what.
- 10:23Speaker 1: You were fighting pretty hard for the week.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Because I thought that I had Herbert here.
- 10:26Speaker 2: When I tell you, Gifford has been hounding me and
- 10:29Speaker 2: he's not here today, has been hounding me about putting
- 10:33Speaker 2: my entire.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Life into this list. I took it seriously.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I have been working on this list since last Thursday,
- 10:39Speaker 2: and I had too many options, just like Justin Herbert,
- 10:41Speaker 2: and I overlooked the most obvious answer and I called
- 10:44Speaker 2: him dumb and I'm sorry, but we can be downb together.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, takes. That is maybe the best part of this
- 10:52Speaker 1: is that you before I had Justin Herbert on my
- 11:00Speaker 1: on my top twenty list, I have him at eleven.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And right before we wrapped up the last episode, the
- 11:06Speaker 1: question was in big Bold Ink is justin Herbert Dumb
- 11:12Speaker 1: and you didn't even have him in the top twenty.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Moving on, I have I have Trevor Lawrence at number ten.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Call me a Florida Homer, though I don't think you will.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But he was in the MVP discussion last year towards
- 11:28Speaker 1: the end of the season. He's been dealt a bad
- 11:30Speaker 1: hand throughout the course of his career. Urban Meyer, Doug Peterson,
- 11:33Speaker 1: a watched up dog. Doug Peterson. I'm kind of postoff.
- 11:36Speaker 3: At your list. Now, this is where you've pissed me off.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Gravitz at ten.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I thought I thought I was gonna get a bouquet
- 11:43Speaker 1: for this. What are you talking about?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Because there are people who haven't been to the playoffs
- 11:49Speaker 2: in a quite some time and who were not in
- 11:51Speaker 2: MVP contention last year above him on this list.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I can make a case for I feel very
- 11:58Speaker 1: confident about the rest of my life. So I will
- 12:01Speaker 1: fight you on the rest of this. And we're not
- 12:03Speaker 1: gonna reveal things just yet. But I thought having Trevor
- 12:07Speaker 1: Lawrence wasn't even in the Executive Coaches ESPN Top ten.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I got him in the top ten. You have him
- 12:13Speaker 1: in the top ten. This should be a moment of
- 12:16Speaker 1: celebration and jubilation, and instead, I don't know if you're
- 12:19Speaker 1: still frustrated that you left Herbert off the list, but
- 12:22Speaker 1: you're throwing it back at me with Trevor Lawrence at
- 12:25Speaker 1: number ten. I told you, by the way, for those listening,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I told you this episode was going to get more testy.
- 12:31Speaker 1: We both need lunch. I knew this was gonna happen.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I ate you.
- 12:35Speaker 2: No, don't start with me. You know my eating schedule.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I eat in our pre show meeting every single day.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I don't need lunch.
- 12:41Speaker 3: You need lunch.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I do, Okay, Trevor Lawrence at ten. I'm curious to
- 12:47Speaker 1: see where you end up having Trevor Lawrence since you
- 12:49Speaker 1: are so dismayed with me having him at ten, which
- 12:52Speaker 1: is a compliment hit us with. So you have a
- 12:56Speaker 1: combination of Herbert and Darnold at ten.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I have Trevor and Justin Arnold at ten.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Justin Darnold. Who do you have at number nine?
- 13:04Speaker 3: Dakota Rayne Prescott.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I think when he is on, he is on, and
- 13:08Speaker 2: when he is off, he is off. But when we
- 13:11Speaker 2: saw him, looked MVP Jesus Christ caliber at times last year.
- 13:15Speaker 3: I don't know what it is. I don't know if
- 13:17Speaker 3: he needs a change of scenery.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I don't know what it is about him and why
- 13:20Speaker 2: he cannot put all the pieces together with the receivers
- 13:23Speaker 2: that he has around him. There truly is no excuse.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I don't know if he just needs to get out
- 13:28Speaker 2: of Dallas. But he is so hot and cold, so polarizing.
- 13:32Speaker 2: There is no great area with him, and that's why
- 13:34Speaker 2: I can't move him any higher than this.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Yeah, people hate on Dak because of his time as
- 13:40Speaker 1: a cowboy, and he hasn't had a lot of playoff success.
- 13:43Speaker 1: But I think he is keeping this decrepit franchise afloat,
- 13:47Speaker 1: and I think he deserves a lot of credit for that.
- 13:52Speaker 1: He's been pretty he's been pretty consistent.
- 13:54Speaker 3: And I had a good word. Consistent is a good word.
- 13:59Speaker 1: And he's getting better. He's had four four thousand yard
- 14:01Speaker 1: seasons over the course of his career. He's had four
- 14:04Speaker 1: to thirty touchdown seasons over the course of his career.
- 14:07Speaker 1: They were the number two passing offense in the NFL
- 14:10Speaker 1: last season. They were behind. The only offense passing wise
- 14:13Speaker 1: that was better than them was led by the guy
- 14:15Speaker 1: who won the MVP. So if anything were low on
- 14:20Speaker 1: Dak Prescott, given the way that he has performed, we
- 14:23Speaker 1: just need him to be a little bit better when trust.
- 14:26Speaker 1: But I think a lot of that is team wise.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I don't know that I don't trust Dak Prescott. It's
- 14:31Speaker 1: that he's lifting up the Cowboys. They they have been.
- 14:35Speaker 1: They are held up by the fact that the brand
- 14:38Speaker 1: is massive and they're always on primetime, so it feels
- 14:41Speaker 1: like they should be better than they own.
- 14:42Speaker 2: You cannot look me in the eyes right now and
- 14:44Speaker 2: tell me that he is propping up Ceedee Lamb and
- 14:47Speaker 2: George Pickens.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Well, last year it was the first year he had
- 14:50Speaker 1: both of them, and they were one of the best
- 14:52Speaker 1: offenses in the NFL that was led by him. I
- 14:55Speaker 1: have him at eight, you have him at nine. Slight
- 14:57Speaker 1: quibble there. My number nine quarterback is Sam Darnald. This
- 15:02Speaker 1: is a guy that I had to force inside of
- 15:04Speaker 1: my top ten just out of respect. I didn't have
- 15:07Speaker 1: to force him in there in the way that Kendrick did.
- 15:09Speaker 1: But MVP or not MVP, but a Super Bowl winning
- 15:13Speaker 1: quarterback and he does deserve a bonus for that. And
- 15:16Speaker 1: it's not like it was a Fluke. Sam donald teams
- 15:18Speaker 1: have won fourteen games in back to back seasons. He
- 15:22Speaker 1: unlocked what we now view as perhaps the best wide
- 15:25Speaker 1: receiver in the NFL in JSN. He doesn't have the
- 15:27Speaker 1: upside or mobility of some of these other guys that
- 15:30Speaker 1: we love on our lists, but he's just solid. Talk
- 15:33Speaker 1: about consistency. He has been that, and he probably doesn't
- 15:35Speaker 1: get credit for being as consistent as he's been. It's
- 15:38Speaker 1: been a slow boy with Donald's but I like him
- 15:41Speaker 1: at nine.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I think my thing with him is that, and it's
- 15:47Speaker 2: a recency bias thing.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I no longer see him.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I've been a huge advocate of his for a couple
- 15:52Speaker 2: of seasons now, but and it's not that I still
- 15:54Speaker 2: see him as the scene go Sam Darnald anymore. I
- 15:57Speaker 2: now see him as the quarterback in the Super Bowl
- 15:59Speaker 2: that won to throw a pick so bad that I
- 16:02Speaker 2: don't know how it didn't happen. That is who That
- 16:05Speaker 2: is who I remember him as right now, And I
- 16:07Speaker 2: know that that's a recency bias thing, but they don't.
- 16:09Speaker 2: They wouldn't have lost the Super Bowl if I think
- 16:11Speaker 2: it was three picks that he could have and should
- 16:14Speaker 2: have thrown in that game would have made a difference.
- 16:17Speaker 2: But that's just how I look at him right now.
- 16:20Speaker 2: And I and it's tough because he won the Super Bowl,
- 16:22Speaker 2: but I just look at those few plays like maybe
- 16:27Speaker 2: he was seeing ghosts again.
- 16:29Speaker 1: They had elite coaching with Kevin O'Connell and then an
- 16:32Speaker 1: elite team around him with the Seattle Seahawks, but he's
- 16:36Speaker 1: made it work. So I just this is the tough part.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I said this in the last episode. This is the
- 16:41Speaker 1: tough part about evaluating these quarterbacks. For guys that are
- 16:44Speaker 1: in systems that have structure around them that allow them
- 16:48Speaker 1: to be successful. Am I docking them for them being successful?
- 16:53Speaker 1: For what with with what they're given. It's like faulting
- 16:56Speaker 1: the guy the kid who grew up with a silver
- 16:58Speaker 1: spoon in his mouth if he then also goes on
- 17:02Speaker 1: to create a successful business of his own. That's kind
- 17:05Speaker 1: of how it feels with Sam Darnold now. And of
- 17:08Speaker 1: course we all remember the bad days, which I think
- 17:11Speaker 1: holds down his ranking. He should probably be higher than this,
- 17:13Speaker 1: but because he sucked at the beginning of his career
- 17:16Speaker 1: and we still don't trust him with the turnovers, that's
- 17:18Speaker 1: how he lands or he does where he is a
- 17:20Speaker 1: split read with you at ten and he is at
- 17:23Speaker 1: nine or me, let's go to number eight on your list.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I have Jared Goff at eight.
- 17:30Speaker 2: We talked earlier in the last episode about guys who
- 17:33Speaker 2: just don't have that second year. I think his second
- 17:36Speaker 2: year is being able to win a Super Bowl. I
- 17:39Speaker 2: just don't see that extra I need it from you
- 17:42Speaker 2: in the biggest moment of your career, and I think
- 17:45Speaker 2: that that's the biggest issue that I have with Jared Goff.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I do think at times Dan Campbell has held him back.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Losing his coordinator has held him back. Last year was insane,
- 17:53Speaker 2: and I do have them winning the division this year.
- 17:55Speaker 2: But I just don't know if in that biggest moment
- 17:58Speaker 2: on the largest stage, if jar Golf can find that
- 18:01Speaker 2: extra gear to get it done.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I am higher on Goth than you.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Are, but I'm higher on somebody else.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I have Dak Prescott at number eight. I've already made
- 18:14Speaker 1: my case for why he's there. I've been really impressed
- 18:17Speaker 1: with what he's done over the last couple of seasons.
- 18:20Speaker 1: He's been consistent over the course of his career, but
- 18:23Speaker 1: the last couple of years he has been when he's
- 18:26Speaker 1: on the field, he's elite, and when he was he
- 18:29Speaker 1: only played eight games. In twenty twenty four, they ranked
- 18:32Speaker 1: twenty first on offense. This is not a bon Nicks
- 18:35Speaker 1: situation where it's like I have to scratch my eyes
- 18:38Speaker 1: to see the difference between him and the backup quarterback.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Dak is that guy. He's just a little bit of
- 18:44Speaker 1: health concern and he hasn't done it in the biggest moment.
- 18:47Speaker 1: But I have him at eight and you have him
- 18:51Speaker 1: at nine. So not a ton of disagreement there, all right,
- 18:54Speaker 1: Things starting to type, starting to tighten up a little bit.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Number seven, Here you go. I have Trevor Lawrence at ten.
- 19:01Speaker 1: You are upset with me about this? You have him
- 19:05Speaker 1: at seven?
- 19:06Speaker 3: Why I have him at seven?
- 19:08Speaker 2: I know that there are times where I look at
- 19:09Speaker 2: him and I'm like, oh my god, you fucking long
- 19:12Speaker 2: haired douchebag, what are you doing?
- 19:14Speaker 1: But I I want to dig up your tweets right there?
- 19:17Speaker 3: Yes you should, Oh my god.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah, But like the turnaround that he has had, talk
- 19:22Speaker 2: about Sam Darnold's turn around.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Trevor Lawrence.
- 19:24Speaker 2: For the entirety of his time in the league, his
- 19:26Speaker 2: receivers have led the league and dropped passes, and that's
- 19:29Speaker 2: not a stat that they show for him. He was
- 19:31Speaker 2: in MVP contention last year and he made it work
- 19:33Speaker 2: with the corpse of Brian Thomas Junior, a hurt Travis
- 19:36Speaker 2: Hunter out for most of the season, Jacoby Myers that
- 19:40Speaker 2: they got late in the year, and he elevated a
- 19:41Speaker 2: guy like Parker Washington and Brenton Strange. He has not
- 19:45Speaker 2: had a true number one receiver unless you want to
- 19:48Speaker 2: count Christian Kirk in his career, and he had a
- 19:51Speaker 2: season like he did last year. I just I think
- 19:54Speaker 2: that when he's on, he's on, he's amazing, and there
- 19:57Speaker 2: are boneheaded times where I want to throw my remote
- 20:00Speaker 2: through my TV. But MVP contention never truly having a
- 20:04Speaker 2: number one receiver and your receivers leading the league and
- 20:06Speaker 2: dropped passes through your career and people that don't. I
- 20:09Speaker 2: don't blame people for not watching Jaguars games at all,
- 20:11Speaker 2: I promise I don't blame you. But when you go
- 20:14Speaker 2: through the stretch of wins like they had last year.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I got to give the kid his flowers.
- 20:18Speaker 2: I know that it's a little bit of hometown bias,
- 20:20Speaker 2: but I think that he is finally, with the new
- 20:24Speaker 2: coaching staff and the new offense and having someone like
- 20:27Speaker 2: Parker Washington who Chopp would carry water, I think he's
- 20:31Speaker 2: I think he has finally turned the corner. I'm worried
- 20:34Speaker 2: about the run game this year, but that's another story
- 20:36Speaker 2: for another day.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Is there? I think we need to be fair to
- 20:40Speaker 1: ourselves and the lists that we've made. Is there preconceived
- 20:46Speaker 1: bias that we have for Trevor Lawrence that we are
- 20:50Speaker 1: holding against a guy like Rock Party because both of
- 20:53Speaker 1: us have purty ranked later than Trevor Lawrence, and no
- 20:59Speaker 1: Party has been better than Trevor Lawrence has been. I
- 21:01Speaker 1: have Trevor Lawrence higher as well, But I just wonder
- 21:04Speaker 1: if we're still viewing Lawrence through the lens of.
- 21:07Speaker 3: A guy that was the There is a test here coming.
- 21:10Speaker 2: There is a test here, similar situation. Mac Jones did
- 21:16Speaker 2: not perform in that Jaguars offense the same way that
- 21:19Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence did, and mac Jones did perform the same
- 21:22Speaker 2: way in that offense that Brock Party did.
- 21:24Speaker 1: That is that's that's a good pull. But mac Jones
- 21:29Speaker 1: didn't do it with Liam Cohen as his coach, and
- 21:31Speaker 1: that is where Trevor. Trevor Lawrence has hit a different gear.
- 21:35Speaker 1: That's true, But don't you think we play calling is
- 21:37Speaker 1: a big part of that.
- 21:37Speaker 3: But they were still in the same scenario.
- 21:39Speaker 2: And don't you think that that forty nine ers offense
- 21:41Speaker 2: is still just as plug and play if Mac Jones
- 21:43Speaker 2: can go out there and make it work in that scenario.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I oh, look, I have Trevor Lawrence higher too, So
- 21:49Speaker 1: I'm not I'm.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Not backing, I'm simply I'm not. I'm just asking.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think if imagine putting Trevor Lawrence on
- 21:56Speaker 1: the forty nine ers, yeah, flip.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Flip those flip those guys. That's another good point.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Do you think the broad party would elevate the Jaguars
- 22:02Speaker 2: the same way that Trevor Lawrence has? I personally don't,
- 22:04Speaker 2: but I once again will admit my bias, But I
- 22:07Speaker 2: think that if you plugged Trevor Lawrence into that forty
- 22:09Speaker 2: nine ers offense, they'd hit another gear.
- 22:11Speaker 1: And it's important to lay this out again what exactly
- 22:14Speaker 1: we're doing in ranking these quarterbacks. We are using body
- 22:18Speaker 1: of work as a way to build a platform for
- 22:20Speaker 1: the rankings, but it's really about who we feel the
- 22:23Speaker 1: most comfortable and confident in on Sunday going into next season.
- 22:28Speaker 1: That's really what the basis of this list is. This
- 22:31Speaker 1: is a this is an NFL betting podcast, So more
- 22:34Speaker 1: than anything, the ranking for us are the guys that
- 22:37Speaker 1: we feel the most confident in when we have money
- 22:40Speaker 1: on them at the end of games in important situations.
- 22:43Speaker 1: And I usually feel pretty good when I've got money
- 22:46Speaker 1: on the Jags, especially as of last year, and Trevor
- 22:49Speaker 1: Lawrence has the ball in his hand.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Also dual thread guy, I think that that also gives
- 22:53Speaker 2: you a bump because someone like broad Party cannot take
- 22:56Speaker 2: off and within the ten the same way that Trevor
- 22:59Speaker 2: Lawrence can. I don't think that brock Party was making
- 23:02Speaker 2: that play that Trevor Lawrence did in the game against
- 23:04Speaker 2: the Chiefs when he fell to the ground, got up
- 23:06Speaker 2: and run. I think brock Party would have laid there.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, Purdy just isn't as durable.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I think that that's another thing that you can contribute
- 23:14Speaker 2: to this conversation.
- 23:16Speaker 1: And uh, to go back to the money making argument,
- 23:20Speaker 1: only one quarterback was more profitable last year than Trevor
- 23:23Speaker 1: Lawrence was, and that was Sam Darnold. So twelve and
- 23:27Speaker 1: six ats for mister darn or mister Lawrence. All right,
- 23:33Speaker 1: all right, no problem with that.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Your seven. I think we're going to cut your throat
- 23:37Speaker 3: for this.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Come at me. It's Drake May, MVP runner up, led
- 23:41Speaker 1: a pretty average Pats team to the Super Bowl. Loved that,
- 23:44Speaker 1: loved him coming out of UNC, so I'm not the
- 23:46Speaker 1: least bit surprised that he's been this good. He led
- 23:49Speaker 1: the NFL and completion percentage yards per attempt Compasser rating.
- 23:53Speaker 1: There's not a lot to dislike about Drake May, other
- 23:55Speaker 1: than the fact that we've only seen it once and
- 23:57Speaker 1: he played the easiest schedule in the NFL. So I'm
- 24:00Speaker 1: just that I'm holding that against him right now. I
- 24:03Speaker 1: just need to see it again one more time, and
- 24:05Speaker 1: this guy will probably be inside of my top three
- 24:09Speaker 1: by the end of the year. But limited sample size.
- 24:13Speaker 1: That's really the only bad thing I have to say
- 24:14Speaker 1: about Drake May. He was bad in the playoffs, but
- 24:17Speaker 1: I think a lot of that was injury related, so
- 24:19Speaker 1: I don't hold too much of that against him.
- 24:23Speaker 3: All right, So I have it too saucy.
- 24:25Speaker 1: By the way, I thought you thought I was gonna
- 24:27Speaker 1: bring some more heat with the with the Jet.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I was gonna say, I have Drake May one slot
- 24:31Speaker 2: ahead of you at six, and I am going to
- 24:35Speaker 2: use this moment.
- 24:36Speaker 3: To give him his flowers.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I think that he was injured in the postseason, his
- 24:39Speaker 2: offensive line did him absolutely no favors, and he had
- 24:42Speaker 2: zero weapons. The reason that I'm ranking him this high
- 24:45Speaker 2: is one MVP to leading. You know your team with
- 24:49Speaker 2: zero receivers, zero offensive line as deep in the season
- 24:51Speaker 2: as you did, and yes, your defense bailed you out
- 24:53Speaker 2: at times, but now you add Romeo Dobbs and AJ Brown.
- 24:56Speaker 3: To this offense. I'm hoping Will Campbell progresses.
- 24:58Speaker 2: But the real thing that I'm looking at here when
- 25:00Speaker 2: I was doing my analysis, I think that Caleb Lomu
- 25:03Speaker 2: is going to give Will Campbell a run for his money.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I do not care what anybody has to say about it.
- 25:08Speaker 2: The kid's a guard and I think eventually they're going
- 25:10Speaker 2: to have to show their hand with that. But if
- 25:12Speaker 2: you look at the depth chart as of right now,
- 25:14Speaker 2: left tackle Will Campbell is second on the depth chart,
- 25:17Speaker 2: behind James Hudson, Caleb Blomou is third, and at right tackle,
- 25:20Speaker 2: Morgan Moses obviously the starter. Caleb Blomu's second I think
- 25:24Speaker 2: that they are seriously going to have to do some
- 25:25Speaker 2: real soul searching before this season starts about who is
- 25:28Speaker 2: going to protect Drake May in this offense. And I
- 25:31Speaker 2: think that if they make the real obvious decision here,
- 25:33Speaker 2: despite how old Morgan Moses is, you know, you can
- 25:35Speaker 2: move the kid around again if.
- 25:37Speaker 1: You have to.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I think that this team could find another gear. And
- 25:41Speaker 2: I'm sorry, like I don't trust what Mike Brabel has
- 25:43Speaker 2: to say after the Super Bowl. He has to prof
- 25:45Speaker 2: his guy up in that moment, But when it comes
- 25:46Speaker 2: to clutch time, game time, grind time, you have to
- 25:50Speaker 2: make some serious decisions regardless of whose feelings those are
- 25:53Speaker 2: going to hurt. And I think Mike Rabel is in
- 25:55Speaker 2: a spot where he doesn't and cannot care about feelings
- 25:57Speaker 2: and has to do the best thing for this football
- 25:59Speaker 2: team and he will do that or.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Those that don't know. Kendra also does sports talk radio
- 26:04Speaker 1: for ninety eight five of the Sports Hub in uh
- 26:09Speaker 1: in the in the Boston area. Where would your coworkers
- 26:14Speaker 1: over there have Drake May on this list? So charateristic
- 26:17Speaker 1: with him?
- 26:18Speaker 2: When that Coaches and like Executives thing came out and
- 26:22Speaker 2: they had Herbert and Prescott ahead of Drake May.
- 26:26Speaker 3: The sky was.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Falling, and I did four hours of solo radio that night,
- 26:30Speaker 2: and I got pretty in the weeds of how I
- 26:32Speaker 2: felt about all of this, and my whole kind of
- 26:37Speaker 2: stance on it is that the kid's only going to
- 26:39Speaker 2: get better, having better weapons around him, in better protection
- 26:42Speaker 2: around him, and considering he went as far as he
- 26:45Speaker 2: did in the postseason last year with you know, the
- 26:48Speaker 2: worst performance ever from a left tackle in a Super
- 26:50Speaker 2: Bowl and no weapons, no protection and played hurt, you
- 26:54Speaker 2: got to give the kid a nod to the fact
- 26:57Speaker 2: that he's made it further than Dak Prescott and justin
- 26:59Speaker 2: her and it's only, you know, the beginning of his career.
- 27:03Speaker 2: So that's why I think he deserves to be ranked higher.
- 27:07Speaker 2: And like I said, I think that his ceiling is
- 27:10Speaker 2: just continuing to grow. So I'm going to respect him
- 27:12Speaker 2: and what he's shown me. I am going to give
- 27:14Speaker 2: him the nod over some veterans, and I think that
- 27:17Speaker 2: that's where I stand on this. People really lost their
- 27:19Speaker 2: shit here, and anytime that there is a slight on
- 27:21Speaker 2: Drake May at all, like Patriots fans wine and cry
- 27:24Speaker 2: about it. I love you, guys, but You are some
- 27:27Speaker 2: big babies about this kid, and he's going to have
- 27:30Speaker 2: to put his big girl pants on this season. But
- 27:32Speaker 2: I expect a lot. There's high expectations. The schedule is
- 27:34Speaker 2: getting more difficult. If you're the guy, go out there
- 27:37Speaker 2: and be the guy, show us what you're made of,
- 27:38Speaker 2: and you know, do the dang thing again.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Prove us wrong.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Interesting thing about the list that was put out by ESPN,
- 27:45Speaker 1: which polls executives and coaches and all of that, the
- 27:50Speaker 1: highest ranking that Drake May had was five. The lowest
- 27:53Speaker 1: was unranked, and unranked means just not a top ten
- 27:56Speaker 1: quarterback in the eyes of those people that were pulled.
- 27:59Speaker 1: So there's a lot of disagreement about Drake May. And
- 28:02Speaker 1: just between the ESPN list that was posted. They have
- 28:06Speaker 1: him at eight, you had him at six. I had
- 28:08Speaker 1: him at seven. We're kind of like, we're not too
- 28:10Speaker 1: far away, but we all have him in a different spot.
- 28:13Speaker 1: There's different ways to contextualize what Drake May's season was
- 28:16Speaker 1: and how we expect that to impact him moving forward.
- 28:19Speaker 1: My number six quarterback is Jared Goff, possibly the most
- 28:23Speaker 1: underrated quarterback in the NFL every year. Yeah, you can
- 28:27Speaker 1: make that face all you want miss Middleton.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Most underrated quarterback in the NFL is Jared Goff.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I think he is. I think he's the most underrated
- 28:34Speaker 1: quarterback in the NFL. Every year they have an elite offense,
- 28:38Speaker 1: one of the best offenses in the sport, and it
- 28:40Speaker 1: all starts with him. It's his command of the offense,
- 28:42Speaker 1: his intelligence at the line of scrimmage. He's sort of
- 28:45Speaker 1: a throwback, and I think because he doesn't run at all,
- 28:48Speaker 1: the guys like a giraffe in the open field, we
- 28:50Speaker 1: just overlook Jared Goff, but he's still one of the
- 28:53Speaker 1: best quarterbacks in the NFL. Only four quarterbacks have more
- 28:58Speaker 1: forty five hundred passing yards seasons than Goff, who has
- 29:01Speaker 1: five Drew Listen to this list, only four Drew Brees,
- 29:05Speaker 1: Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning. That's consistency. And he's
- 29:09Speaker 1: still only thirty one years old, so it's not like
- 29:12Speaker 1: he's not a dinosaur.
- 29:13Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you why I'm okay with this
- 29:15Speaker 2: ranking of him, and why I think that he deserves
- 29:18Speaker 2: to be high on anyone's list. The best ability is availability,
- 29:23Speaker 2: and he is always available, yep.
- 29:27Speaker 1: And you can always and he's just so much better
- 29:32Speaker 1: than whatever they're going to throw out there as a
- 29:34Speaker 1: backup option. They tried with the hended hooker thing, and
- 29:38Speaker 1: they need him to operate that offense effectively. They dealt
- 29:42Speaker 1: with a lot last year and they still won nine games.
- 29:45Speaker 1: So Kendra has Jared Goff at eight, I'm a little
- 29:48Speaker 1: higher on him. I have Jared Goff at six. You
- 29:51Speaker 1: have Drake May as your sixth quarterback. Let's get into
- 29:55Speaker 1: our top five. Who do you have at number five? Kendra?
- 29:59Speaker 2: Number five, I'm gonna have Lamar Jackson. I am his
- 30:03Speaker 2: biggest apologist, his biggest fan. He's my favorite player in
- 30:06Speaker 2: the NFL. I think he's hilarious. But when you have
- 30:08Speaker 2: a roster like you do and you can't get to
- 30:12Speaker 2: a super Bowl and win a super.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Bowl, I I'm sorry.
- 30:14Speaker 2: I take I take an issue with that, and he's
- 30:16Speaker 2: always injured, shitting his pants running off, I'm sorry.
- 30:20Speaker 3: I love him.
- 30:21Speaker 2: I'm his biggest apologist, but once again, I just don't
- 30:25Speaker 2: know why with the talent he and listen Mark Andrews
- 30:29Speaker 2: really fucked him over.
- 30:31Speaker 3: He really really did. What was that two seasons ago?
- 30:34Speaker 3: That that was horrendous, It was awful, It was difficult, to.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Watch and that wasn't on Lamar, but the fact that
- 30:41Speaker 2: you have had every tool that you have needed for
- 30:44Speaker 2: the entirety of your career to get to a super
- 30:47Speaker 2: Bowl and win a super Bowl and haven't. I'm sorry,
- 30:50Speaker 2: I just I cannot have you in a top three
- 30:54Speaker 2: or four situation because I don't trust you to I
- 30:56Speaker 2: don't trust you. I love him to death, but the injuries,
- 30:59Speaker 2: like ck of availability, whatever it is, I can't have
- 31:04Speaker 2: him any higher than this.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I am going to hold off on my pushback on
- 31:08Speaker 1: this because I am much higher on mister Jackson than
- 31:12Speaker 1: you are. I think it's funny that you say I'm
- 31:13Speaker 1: the biggest Lamar Jackson apologist, and then you have him
- 31:16Speaker 1: at five on your list, which I am. That's lower
- 31:18Speaker 1: than most people would have Lamar Jackson.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I know, but I try to be realistic in the
- 31:22Speaker 2: fact that he's injured all the time.
- 31:24Speaker 3: That's the thing for me. Do you remember when he
- 31:26Speaker 3: shot his pants?
- 31:27Speaker 1: I do. Yeah. And he's sick a lot too.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 2: He every year every year he gets some sort of
- 31:32Speaker 2: flu bug whatever in like the most pivotal point of
- 31:35Speaker 2: the season, like December, and it's like, bro, seriously, did
- 31:39Speaker 2: you get your flu shot.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I have not.
- 31:42Speaker 3: We think he's going to have diarrhea lettuce, just.
- 31:46Speaker 1: The way tracking his health history, I think if anybody's
- 31:49Speaker 1: gonna get it, like when COVID came around, you just
- 31:52Speaker 1: knew that, like Lamar was going to end.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Up with death tax is diarrhea lettuce for Lamar?
- 31:56Speaker 1: Right, I'm shocked that I am lower on this guy
- 32:02Speaker 1: than you are, But I have the MVP of the NFL,
- 32:05Speaker 1: Matt Stafford at number five. Age is a concern for me.
- 32:08Speaker 1: The guy, of course, coming off of an MVP season.
- 32:10Speaker 1: He's in his bag right now, is all these off balance,
- 32:13Speaker 1: weird arm angle throws. He's the best in the NFL
- 32:15Speaker 1: right now in terms of creative ways to release the football.
- 32:18Speaker 1: It's him and Patrick Mahomes. But right now Stafford is
- 32:23Speaker 1: thriving and Mahomes is not peak Mahomes, and he's obviously
- 32:27Speaker 1: boosted by McVeigh. It goes back to our infrastructure conversation.
- 32:31Speaker 1: The Rams have built a nice team around him, but
- 32:34Speaker 1: their Super Bowl favorites again for a reason. He's a
- 32:37Speaker 1: big part of it. But I don't want to overrate
- 32:41Speaker 1: him just because he's coming off of the best season
- 32:44Speaker 1: of his career. So five is still it's hard to
- 32:48Speaker 1: say anything negative about someone you have in the top five,
- 32:51Speaker 1: but I have enough concerns about Matt Stafford being able
- 32:55Speaker 1: to put it together again.
- 32:57Speaker 2: My issue with Matt Stafford is another year under his belt.
- 33:00Speaker 2: He has, undoubtedly, especially if Aaron Donald comes back, the
- 33:03Speaker 2: best roster in the NFL, but another year on that
- 33:06Speaker 2: back injury really starts to concern me once again. He's
- 33:09Speaker 2: one of these guys who's pretty much available for the
- 33:11Speaker 2: most part. But I think the number one thing for
- 33:14Speaker 2: Matt Stafford actually is his age, and that's what benefits
- 33:17Speaker 2: him the most.
- 33:18Speaker 3: We call it the quarterback six cents.
- 33:20Speaker 2: He knows when someone is on his blind side before
- 33:23Speaker 2: they even know that he's on his blind side.
- 33:24Speaker 3: It's a miracle.
- 33:25Speaker 2: It's the most incredible thing to watch about his game,
- 33:28Speaker 2: and if you didn't truly pay attention to that in
- 33:31Speaker 2: his season last year, I ask that you do so
- 33:33Speaker 2: this year because it is truly just the most magnificent
- 33:36Speaker 2: thing about his game is how aware he is of
- 33:41Speaker 2: the pocket and who is around him. It's beyond impressive,
- 33:43Speaker 2: and I think that that is what puts him over
- 33:45Speaker 2: the edge of some of these other guys that I
- 33:47Speaker 2: have ranked around him is just his awareness because he's
- 33:50Speaker 2: been around the game so long, he's seen it all.
- 33:52Speaker 3: First ballot Hall of Famer Matt Stafford.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Wow, that's the nicest thing I've ever heard you say
- 33:58Speaker 1: about Stafford. It's so true about his age though. That's
- 34:03Speaker 1: the interesting thing about the quarterback position is that most guys,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and they reach a certain age arc they're over the hill.
- 34:10Speaker 1: But in the NFL, for some of these guys, they're
- 34:14Speaker 1: able to just stand on top of the hill and
- 34:16Speaker 1: they'd see everything around them better than ever before. And
- 34:20Speaker 1: if they have enough of that talent they had in
- 34:22Speaker 1: their prime left, they play at this optimal level. We've
- 34:26Speaker 1: seen it with Rogers, who've seen it with Brady, we
- 34:28Speaker 1: saw it with Peyton Manning, and we're seeing it now
- 34:30Speaker 1: with Matt Stafford. So five, in saying that and hearing
- 34:34Speaker 1: your soliloquy about Stafford, I feel like I need to
- 34:37Speaker 1: bump them up. But for the purposes of gravity. The age.
- 34:41Speaker 2: It's the age, it's the age, and it's the back injury.
- 34:46Speaker 2: If he goes down, they're absolutely fucked and there's nobody
- 34:49Speaker 2: to blame other than their stupid owner for drafting ty Simpson.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Hey, at least they have a first round pick. They
- 34:55Speaker 1: can turn two. Who do you have at number four? Hey,
- 34:58Speaker 1: this name is.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Familiar number before I have.
- 35:01Speaker 2: I have old man Stafford right there, baby, he's in the.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Cut, all right.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I have Joe Burrow. I love me some Joey B.
- 35:08Speaker 1: But he hasn't played more than ten games in two
- 35:10Speaker 1: of the last three seasons. When he's out there, I
- 35:12Speaker 1: think you could argue he's the number one on the list. Like,
- 35:15Speaker 1: if we're going into battle, we've got one Sunday I
- 35:18Speaker 1: need to win. I would have a really hard time
- 35:22Speaker 1: not picking Joe Burrow as my quarterback. But we have
- 35:25Speaker 1: to layer in all of the other possibilities to a
- 35:28Speaker 1: ranking like this, And the question marks about him getting
- 35:33Speaker 1: beat up behind a bad offensive line, they're there. But
- 35:37Speaker 1: he's Tom Brady with wheels. The guy is super smart.
- 35:40Speaker 1: He's electric with the football in his hands. To me, like,
- 35:44Speaker 1: the difference between the top four, which starts now with Burrow,
- 35:50Speaker 1: and the rest of my list is that these guys
- 35:53Speaker 1: are the system. They are not built by a system
- 35:56Speaker 1: at all. You can even make the argument that Stafford
- 35:59Speaker 1: is Stafford is excelling at a different level with Sean McVeigh,
- 36:03Speaker 1: Joe Burrow, and everybody else that I have inside of
- 36:06Speaker 1: my top four, I think would be just as good
- 36:09Speaker 1: as they are now anywhere you put them, just because
- 36:12Speaker 1: of their overall greatness. I have Burrow at number four.
- 36:15Speaker 1: What about Joillu, I've met Stafford never one. Where do
- 36:20Speaker 1: you have mister Burrow?
- 36:21Speaker 2: I have him at three four a couple of reasons.
- 36:25Speaker 2: I agree with you. If he is healthy, he would
- 36:27Speaker 2: be the number one quarterback on this list for me.
- 36:29Speaker 2: But the reason that I have him here is because
- 36:31Speaker 2: I don't think that his injuries are his fault or
- 36:34Speaker 2: freak accidents.
- 36:35Speaker 3: It's literally that the team will not.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Invest in an offensive line for him, and that has
- 36:39Speaker 2: killed him time and time again. But the other thing
- 36:42Speaker 2: for me that I question with him once again, it's
- 36:44Speaker 2: hard to find negative things to say for a top
- 36:46Speaker 2: three quarterback in the league, top four, top five, whatever,
- 36:49Speaker 2: it's that I'm not sure if he's having fun anymore,
- 36:51Speaker 2: and I think that that is what kills passion and
- 36:54Speaker 2: the kids. A certified winner like always has been, always
- 36:58Speaker 2: will be, like he is is a winner. But I
- 37:02Speaker 2: don't know if he's having fun anymore. And are you
- 37:04Speaker 2: really doing the most at work and getting the most
- 37:06Speaker 2: out of work, and getting the most out of your
- 37:08Speaker 2: job and your production. If you're not having fun, and
- 37:10Speaker 2: I think if they aren't good off the rip this season,
- 37:13Speaker 2: it's gonna cause some serious questions for him. But you
- 37:15Speaker 2: know what, they went out there, they invested. Did they
- 37:17Speaker 2: invest enough in the offensive line? And I don't think so.
- 37:20Speaker 2: But I think that he knows that this is truly
- 37:22Speaker 2: probably his last season before he has to look himself
- 37:24Speaker 2: in the mirror and ask himself if he wants to
- 37:25Speaker 2: pull in Andrew Lucker, if he really still is having
- 37:27Speaker 2: fun and wants to keep doing this.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I agree. It did seem like last year we saw
- 37:32Speaker 1: a different sort of attitude from Joe Burrow. I'm seeing
- 37:36Speaker 1: a rejuvenated Burrow though. The way that he's talking about
- 37:39Speaker 1: this team in the off season, I think we might
- 37:43Speaker 1: get this huge. He's jo huge. They invested in the
- 37:48Speaker 1: defensive line with Dexter Lawrence, and he had he said
- 37:51Speaker 1: that he compares his team now to the LSU team
- 37:55Speaker 1: that he was on in twenty nineteen. That's terrifying.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Shitty happens, though, I think that his mental health is also.
- 38:05Speaker 2: He used to be my hall Past the only athlete
- 38:07Speaker 2: that I've ever had a crush on.
- 38:08Speaker 3: But after watching how he's treated Olivia Ponton, I can
- 38:12Speaker 3: say it's a no from me. Dog, you've lost my respect.
- 38:15Speaker 2: You like, just hold the girl's hand and stop walking
- 38:17Speaker 2: ten feet in front of her. For the love of God,
- 38:20Speaker 2: everyone knows you're together.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Yeah, gotta treat the ladies right, Like, come on.
- 38:25Speaker 3: She survived a robbery for you.
- 38:29Speaker 1: It wasn't he Was he cheating or was he cheating
- 38:32Speaker 1: with her? How did that work?
- 38:33Speaker 3: I think that she was his rebound?
- 38:35Speaker 1: Okay, Number two, No. Number three for me is Patrick
- 38:39Speaker 1: mahomes ikes uh. Three time Super Bowl champion. He was
- 38:44Speaker 1: easily number one on this list not too long ago.
- 38:47Speaker 1: But he's dropped off in the last two seasons, and
- 38:49Speaker 1: the Chiefs feel like they're decaying. It feels like he is.
- 38:53Speaker 1: He's not sinking as fast as the rest of the
- 38:55Speaker 1: team is, but it does feel like he's sinking. And
- 38:58Speaker 1: I think he's built up a up enough equity with
- 39:01Speaker 1: all of us where we're willing to believe that he
- 39:03Speaker 1: can be back to being a top guy. But lately,
- 39:06Speaker 1: if you look at these numbers, the analytics are soulless,
- 39:09Speaker 1: they're heartless. They don't like this guy anymore, at least
- 39:12Speaker 1: not as the top quarterback in the NFL. PFF has
- 39:16Speaker 1: him graded as this is where you have to take
- 39:19Speaker 1: PFF grades with a grain of salt. But they have
- 39:22Speaker 1: him at sixteen sixteenth best quarterback last year, just as
- 39:27Speaker 1: as his performance last year. That's brutal. So I feel
- 39:31Speaker 1: like I'm being nice by keeping.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Him in.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Unranked. I get a Justin Herbert breakdown again. So Mahomes
- 39:46Speaker 1: at three for me, you have Joe Burrow. Who do
- 39:49Speaker 1: you have at number two?
- 39:52Speaker 2: I have number two as Josh Allen. I think he's
- 39:55Speaker 2: going to have renewed girl dad strength this year. Team
- 39:58Speaker 2: got better. Don't think he can win the Big One
- 40:01Speaker 2: and he will forever be calling my number one Jaddy.
- 40:04Speaker 3: So number two, Josh Allen, you have not.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Sold your Patrick Mahomes stock tease for what is to
- 40:11Speaker 1: come in a moment. Number two for me is Lamar
- 40:14Speaker 1: Demiatrice Jackson. Two time MVP, probably should be a three
- 40:20Speaker 1: time MVP. But voters had a heart on for Josh
- 40:22Speaker 1: Allen in twenty twenty four. Yes, Kendra, I agree the
- 40:27Speaker 1: playoffs success could be better. Maybe Mark Andrews could catch
- 40:30Speaker 1: a pass. Maybe John Harball could stick to the run
- 40:35Speaker 1: against Kansas City from a couple of years ago. I
- 40:38Speaker 1: can excuse away a lot that has gone wrong with
- 40:41Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson's career. You mentioned his injury history. That's obviously
- 40:45Speaker 1: the biggest red flag with Lamar Jackson. But for a
- 40:47Speaker 1: guy who runs this much. I love what doctor David
- 40:51Speaker 1: Chow said on our podcast. It's not that these guys
- 40:55Speaker 1: are injury prone, it's that they're prone to injury. That's
- 40:59Speaker 1: just the way that Lamar great takeaway. He's the best
- 41:02Speaker 1: dual threat quarterback in NFL history. Of course, he's gonna
- 41:07Speaker 1: get hurt, that's obviously going to happen. But if he doesn't,
- 41:11Speaker 1: he is so electrifying. Look at the Ravens season win
- 41:15Speaker 1: total over under. It's eleven and a half. They have
- 41:18Speaker 1: a thirty two year old running back, a slightly above
- 41:21Speaker 1: average defense. It's him. He's the reason that they're projected
- 41:26Speaker 1: to be one of the best teams in the NFL.
- 41:28Speaker 1: It is Lamar Jackson. I cannot have him the way
- 41:32Speaker 1: that Mahomes is playing, and Burrow has as many injury
- 41:35Speaker 1: concerns as Lamar does. I just can't have him any
- 41:39Speaker 1: lower than two.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Okay, I disagree, but I respect you.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Thank you. Let's move to your new Moreau.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Who know it's Patrick Mahomes.
- 41:53Speaker 2: I get that he had a bad season last year.
- 41:55Speaker 2: He's going to be injured to start the season, but
- 41:57Speaker 2: he's a winner. He pulls things out of his ass
- 42:00Speaker 2: that I've never seen anybody do in my entire life. Yeah,
- 42:02Speaker 2: that Super Bowl against Brady was bad, but how do
- 42:05Speaker 2: you deny the guy. He's the best. He's the best
- 42:07Speaker 2: quarterback in the league. He was the goat at one
- 42:10Speaker 2: moment on the trajectory to be so he still could
- 42:12Speaker 2: win more Super Bowls than Tom Brady. I think the
- 42:14Speaker 2: one thing that's pushing me over the edge this year
- 42:16Speaker 2: is that this roster is getting a little bit older
- 42:19Speaker 2: and that they all know that this is probably their
- 42:20Speaker 2: last opportunity to play together, win together, and be the
- 42:24Speaker 2: united front. So that's going to elevate him and everyone
- 42:26Speaker 2: around him. I just I cannot deny him from being
- 42:32Speaker 2: the number one quarterback in the league from everything that
- 42:34Speaker 2: he's shown me. And I get that he had a
- 42:36Speaker 2: bad season. Brady had bad season at times, you know,
- 42:39Speaker 2: like there were seasons where he just was a shell
- 42:41Speaker 2: of himself. But he's still the best to ever do it.
- 42:43Speaker 2: He's still the goat. He still went out there and
- 42:45Speaker 2: one time and time again he elevates people. That's exactly
- 42:48Speaker 2: what Patrick Mahomes does, is he elevates people, and he's
- 42:51Speaker 2: a winner. I don't care how annoying him and his
- 42:53Speaker 2: wife are and his entire family. He's the best and
- 42:56Speaker 2: I can't take it away from him. I'm sorry. I
- 42:58Speaker 2: can't do it. I will not I will not deny him.
- 43:01Speaker 1: So I have Josh Allen at number one, and I
- 43:03Speaker 1: think the difference between the two if you have if
- 43:06Speaker 1: you're a Mahomes number one guy, or you're an Allen
- 43:09Speaker 1: number one guy right now and or girl had or
- 43:13Speaker 1: girl sorry yeah right.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Yeah you did it.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Shame, It's okay.
- 43:20Speaker 3: I call people guys. I'm just giving you shit.
- 43:22Speaker 1: It's where you win. You are giving extra credit for
- 43:26Speaker 1: winning at the most important times of the season.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Yep.
- 43:32Speaker 1: And obviously there is phenomenal merit to that. If I think,
- 43:36Speaker 1: if you're judging for me, if I'm judging legacy, that's
- 43:41Speaker 1: that's the deciding factors. What were you in those crunch
- 43:45Speaker 1: time moments in the biggest situations when the lights are
- 43:48Speaker 1: the brightest. So if we're talking about who's the greatest ever,
- 43:52Speaker 1: that that matters a lot more to me. When I'm
- 43:54Speaker 1: going into the start of the season, when I'm backing
- 43:56Speaker 1: a quarterback with my money, I've got to have you
- 43:59Speaker 1: get me there in the first place. And that's where
- 44:03Speaker 1: I trust Josh Allen right now more than Patrick Mahomes,
- 44:07Speaker 1: because i Josh Allen has put It's not like the
- 44:10Speaker 1: Bills have have put this great offensive system around him.
- 44:15Speaker 1: James Cook was phenomenal last year, but right now he's
- 44:18Speaker 1: relying on the upgraded at wide receiver with DJ Moore,
- 44:21Speaker 1: who was terrible last season. Khalil Shakiir was his number
- 44:24Speaker 1: one wide receiver. Dalton Kincaid hasn't panned out. None of
- 44:27Speaker 1: it matters. He's still carrying this team to double digit
- 44:31Speaker 1: wins every single year since twenty nineteen, They've had at
- 44:35Speaker 1: least ten wins. There's just so much consistency that you
- 44:38Speaker 1: can bank on get me to the playoffs. I'll worry
- 44:40Speaker 1: about the rest when I get there.
- 44:42Speaker 2: But I think that that's kind of where you're proving
- 44:44Speaker 2: My point though, Is that all right?
- 44:46Speaker 4: Like?
- 44:47Speaker 2: Sure, he goes out there and he elevates bad rosters.
- 44:50Speaker 2: But we're a money making podcast, and at the end
- 44:52Speaker 2: of the day, what makes you money is the ability
- 44:55Speaker 2: to go out there and win. And at times I
- 44:57Speaker 2: question that with Josh Allen. No matter how much he
- 44:59Speaker 2: puts hard on the field and gets it done himself,
- 45:02Speaker 2: at times he can't prove to me that he can
- 45:05Speaker 2: do it all. And then he like number Like the
- 45:08Speaker 2: number one person I would put my money on to
- 45:11Speaker 2: go out there and win me a game tomorrow would
- 45:14Speaker 2: be Joe Burrow or Patrick Mahomes.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I think this is it's very similar to the way
- 45:20Speaker 1: that I used to look at Tom Brady and Peyton
- 45:22Speaker 1: Manning when they were both in their primes. I would
- 45:24Speaker 1: take Peyton Manning every single week of the season over
- 45:27Speaker 1: Tom Brady every single week. Give me Peyton Manning. Give
- 45:30Speaker 1: me Peyton Manning. Now, if we have them playing in
- 45:32Speaker 1: the AFC Championship game, I'll take Tom Brady. That's that's
- 45:37Speaker 1: the difference between Allan and Mahomes. I think Allen is
- 45:40Speaker 1: a better overall quarterback right now than Patrick Mahomes is.
- 45:42Speaker 1: But if they were playing in the AFC Championship Game,
- 45:44Speaker 1: I would have a hard time putting my money.
- 45:47Speaker 2: I also have to say I don't agree with the
- 45:50Speaker 2: like garbage around Josh Allen saying, because I'm sorry, right now,
- 45:56Speaker 2: give and their their glorified receivers. Give me Dalton Can
- 46:00Speaker 2: and Dawson Knox over whatever the fuck Patrick Mahomes is
- 46:03Speaker 2: going to have this season.
- 46:04Speaker 3: I'm sorry, give me that two headed monster.
- 46:06Speaker 1: That's fair. But Josh Allen's going to compete for the MVP.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Are they confident that Patrick Mahomes is going to do that?
- 46:12Speaker 2: If he elevates Rashi, Rice, Xavier Worthy and Taekwon's thort
- 46:16Speaker 2: in the way that we know, and he has proven
- 46:18Speaker 2: he's capable of doing yes in that division, in that division,
- 46:23Speaker 2: that division, if he wins that division, that will give
- 46:26Speaker 2: him all the bump he needs to be in an
- 46:28Speaker 2: MVP conversation. I'm sorry, if you go out there and
- 46:31Speaker 2: wax the Jets and the Dolphins every single year, I'm
- 46:33Speaker 2: not gonna be like, yeah, MVP.
- 46:35Speaker 1: No, okay, Hey, that's what Brady was doing his entire career,
- 46:39Speaker 1: and we goaded him. We goaded his ass, So hey.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Well we're goading Patrick Mahomes for you know what?
- 46:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that is our top twenty Evan Abrams fly in
- 46:52Speaker 1: out of the sky and grade the top twenty if
- 46:56Speaker 1: you would.
- 46:57Speaker 4: Yeah, so I guess. Yeah. So I have two questions
- 47:00Speaker 4: before I kind of just give you my overall thoughts.
- 47:02Speaker 4: Number one, I think the biggest problem with this and
- 47:04Speaker 4: I was waiting to get to.
- 47:06Speaker 3: This point now I forgot Justin Harbert.
- 47:08Speaker 4: No, that was number two on the list in terms
- 47:09Speaker 4: of my questions. Number one was kind of like how
- 47:12Speaker 4: were we putting this together? Is this like every player
- 47:15Speaker 4: in the NFL is like the same rating, and then
- 47:18Speaker 4: we're ranking quarterbacks by adding that quarterback to that roster
- 47:21Speaker 4: to see, Like I was just trying to is it
- 47:24Speaker 4: entering this year? So like we should put more weight
- 47:27Speaker 4: on what we've seen recently, Like who would I take
- 47:29Speaker 4: right now? Is that kind of a question for me?
- 47:31Speaker 2: I did it based off of if I were to
- 47:33Speaker 2: take a quarterback tomorrow, like into the season, who would
- 47:37Speaker 2: like carry me the longest way and make me the
- 47:39Speaker 2: most money?
- 47:40Speaker 4: Understood? So like for this year, every other player on
- 47:43Speaker 4: the team is the same rank your quarterbacks based off
- 47:46Speaker 4: of this season. I have like very tough problems with
- 47:49Speaker 4: like Mahomes and I have like very tough problems with
- 47:52Speaker 4: like certain quarterbacks given like the what we've seen recently,
- 47:58Speaker 4: like Lamar. Lamar was unbelievable first four weeks of this season.
- 48:01Speaker 4: Then he just gets hurt and it happens multiple times,
- 48:04Speaker 4: Like how am I supposed to? So I think when
- 48:06Speaker 4: I'm creating a list, if I'm comping yours, I think
- 48:08Speaker 4: that becomes my biggest issue. Number two is I don't
- 48:11Speaker 4: really even have a list from Kendris, and she has
- 48:13Speaker 4: twenty one quarterbacks, and we put Darnold and Herbert in
- 48:16Speaker 4: the same spot. So I love everybody here, but hard
- 48:18Speaker 4: for a little comparison. I will say this, if I
- 48:21Speaker 4: had to pick a list, I think I'd probably prefer Kendras.
- 48:25Speaker 4: The only thing I like on Brandon's list is I'm
- 48:27Speaker 4: not a hurtskuy so four spots back, which I believe
- 48:30Speaker 4: Brandon has him at seventeen versus thirteen. I feel like
- 48:33Speaker 4: it's right. But like I like the Caleb shorter on
- 48:36Speaker 4: Kendras list. I think Trevor being shorter is right. I
- 48:40Speaker 4: think Lamar being longer is right. So I think there's
- 48:43Speaker 4: a few things I like better on Kendrews list, But
- 48:46Speaker 4: you know, twenty one quarterbacks.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Versus twenty so rat come on, that can't.
- 48:52Speaker 4: Really help myself if if I was, and just to
- 48:54Speaker 4: be clear, the one quarterback that I think you guys
- 48:57Speaker 4: might have for entering this year, and I kind of
- 49:01Speaker 4: don't like this guy at all. If anyone's listened to
- 49:03Speaker 4: the podcast and I've been on, I'm very anty this guy,
- 49:05Speaker 4: but it's very hard to ignore. What he's done for
- 49:07Speaker 4: the team is purty Perty's number one and basically any
- 49:10Speaker 4: advanced statistical category, especially if you go last two seasons,
- 49:14Speaker 4: number one and adjusted EPA per play, number one in
- 49:17Speaker 4: EPA per play, number one in success rate, like if
- 49:20Speaker 4: you look at the last two years and you're entering
- 49:22Speaker 4: this year, granted, what I think about San Francisco this
- 49:25Speaker 4: year is another conversation. Hard to ignore him. He is
- 49:28Speaker 4: a top four quarterback in the NFL, and it's hard
- 49:31Speaker 4: to say no to that. Other than that, Perty, May
- 49:34Speaker 4: Burrow Allen are like, Okay, let me efficient QBS.
- 49:38Speaker 2: I was going to say, let me ask you our
- 49:40Speaker 2: same argument dilemma. Let's say, for the sake of the argument,
- 49:44Speaker 2: we've already had you swap Trevor Lawrence and brought pretty
- 49:47Speaker 2: what do those pictures look like to you.
- 49:50Speaker 4: So I think that's a difficult difficulty because of pedigree,
- 49:53Speaker 4: Like it is so easy to say Trevor Lawrence because
- 49:57Speaker 4: of how like great everything looks other than what is
- 50:00Speaker 4: on the field, Like on the actual field, Rock Purty
- 50:04Speaker 4: is such a better quarterback. So if you flip spots,
- 50:07Speaker 4: I'd have to say Jacksonville is a better team. Everyone
- 50:10Speaker 4: would rate San Francisco.
- 50:11Speaker 3: Backvill is a better team than the forty nine.
- 50:13Speaker 4: Ers with if Brock Purdy was the quarterback of the Jaguars.
- 50:18Speaker 4: I think their elevation based off of people on the team,
- 50:21Speaker 4: based off of the numbers now understandable. We have problems,
- 50:24Speaker 4: right like Shanahan, what is his giving to Purdy to
- 50:28Speaker 4: make them better? But I think overall, if you look
- 50:31Speaker 4: at what they've accomplished, I think we would rate jackson
- 50:34Speaker 4: We would rate San Francisco very high with Trevor Lawrence
- 50:37Speaker 4: a quarterback, and they would then fall on their face
- 50:40Speaker 4: a few times.
- 50:42Speaker 1: And that's and that's specifically going into this year, San Francis.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I agree with that. I think Jacksonville's roster right now
- 50:48Speaker 1: is better than San Francisco's.
- 50:50Speaker 3: I'm worried about the Jags this year, you guys.
- 50:52Speaker 1: But San Francisco in years past has clearly been better
- 50:56Speaker 1: than what Jacksonville has been.
- 50:57Speaker 4: Everything also that that's expectations like Trevor Lawrence could have
- 51:00Speaker 4: played better in certain spots to make Jacksonville somewhat closer
- 51:04Speaker 4: to San Francisco, but that hasn't been the case.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Let me ask you one more before we cut you loose.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Even is there somebody that we didn't have in the
- 51:12Speaker 1: top twenty or Kendrick's top twenty one that you would
- 51:15Speaker 1: have that you would have had on the list that
- 51:19Speaker 1: we did not mention at all.
- 51:21Speaker 4: It's a good question. I don't have that answer handy,
- 51:23Speaker 4: So I'm quickly trying to look at your list to
- 51:25Speaker 4: see if there's I can I just.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Throw a couple of quarterbacks?
- 51:28Speaker 3: Yeah you're twenty one?
- 51:30Speaker 1: Yeah, bro Bryce Young was mentioned. I would say one more.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Or Aaron Rodgers. We didn't even talk about Aaron Rodgers.
- 51:40Speaker 1: A lick.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers mustn't discuss. So I think the problem with
- 51:44Speaker 4: is I love cam Ward, but cam Ward, if you're
- 51:47Speaker 4: taking his previous seasons, doesn't look great from what you
- 51:50Speaker 4: would think he's going to be this year. So there's
- 51:53Speaker 4: a lot of projecting going on there. The one guy
- 51:55Speaker 4: I will say, the one thing I will say is
- 51:57Speaker 4: like Baker Mayfield being seven sixteen, you know, both your lists,
- 52:00Speaker 4: Like he was definitely a top ten quarterback over the
- 52:03Speaker 4: last two years. He was an MVP candidate for like
- 52:06Speaker 4: multiple weeks. Like, he was really amazing in what he does. Now,
- 52:09Speaker 4: if you're projecting him forward, I can't really argue too much.
- 52:12Speaker 4: But either way, Baker's probably a little bit lower on
- 52:15Speaker 4: most lists than yours.
- 52:16Speaker 3: And Ward would be my twenty two. I agree with you.
- 52:18Speaker 2: I think that I hate to say you guys, I
- 52:21Speaker 2: think I think the Diets are actually going to be
- 52:23Speaker 2: pretty okay this year, and it scares the crap out
- 52:25Speaker 2: of me.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think they're I think they're a
- 52:28Speaker 1: good bet for their win total over It should be
- 52:30Speaker 1: mentioned that I brought up the PFF grades a couple
- 52:33Speaker 1: of times. If you ignore the snap minimums, Malik Willis
- 52:37Speaker 1: was the top graded quarterback in the NFL last year.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it's also funny that TWOA is basically a top
- 52:42Speaker 4: ten to twelve quarterback. But obviously, I mean, you'll see
- 52:45Speaker 4: what happens there, and it's obviously there's some games that
- 52:49Speaker 4: make him look a lot better than if you look
- 52:50Speaker 4: at the full picture.
- 52:52Speaker 1: But where does Mendoza rank at the end of this
- 52:55Speaker 1: year on this line?
- 52:56Speaker 4: If he plays like Cousins has been really decent in
- 53:00Speaker 4: terms of numbers when he's out there, So if he
- 53:02Speaker 4: gets a full year like obviously whatever, if he comes
- 53:05Speaker 4: in halfway, I don't think Mendoza is even top twenty
- 53:08Speaker 4: twenty five. I think he's in that range.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Evan Abrams Yeoman's work out of the bullpen. Thanks so much.
- 53:15Speaker 4: Aida.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Let's get to our plant the flag once again presented
- 53:19Speaker 1: by DraftKings, but this time we're going to keep it
- 53:21Speaker 1: inside of our top ten.
- 53:22Speaker 3: What you got little to mind the flag and it
- 53:25Speaker 3: set up. I'm trying to plant my flag here.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Okay, you're really planning your flag in that thing.
- 53:30Speaker 2: I think my favorite bet that I have placed this
- 53:32Speaker 2: is now hopping over my Cleveland Browns bet Drake May
- 53:37Speaker 2: over five and a half rushing touchdowns plus one point
- 53:41Speaker 2: eighty is my favorite bet that I have logged all
- 53:43Speaker 2: season long.
- 53:44Speaker 3: Obsessed love it, kiss it on the forehead, Swaddle it
- 53:47Speaker 3: like a baby. That's my bestie.
- 53:50Speaker 1: That is going to be a buddy bet because I
- 53:54Speaker 1: love that very much. Drake May over five rushing touchdowns
- 53:57Speaker 1: plus one eighty. I like May as well, four thousand
- 54:02Speaker 1: plus passing yards at plus one thirty five. I guess
- 54:05Speaker 1: we're all in on Drake May. What a time to
- 54:08Speaker 1: be alive.
- 54:09Speaker 3: We're back on a P word this year, just a
- 54:11Speaker 3: different P word.
- 54:12Speaker 1: He's you can get slack me on the side on that.
- 54:16Speaker 1: He hit forty three hundred yards last year without having
- 54:20Speaker 1: any wide receivers at his disposal other than Diggs but Dobbs,
- 54:24Speaker 1: aj Brown, and he gets to go up against my
- 54:26Speaker 1: fins and the Jets four times a year, so if
- 54:28Speaker 1: he stays healthy, he should get both of these with ease.
- 54:31Speaker 1: That is our plant the flag presented by Draft Kings.
