- 0:01Well, howdy, and welcome to the Mark Driscoll show, guys.
- 0:03Today is going to be awesome. I mean awesome in some senses.
- 0:07We're going to talk about how the war in Iran is coming to our
- 0:10homeland and how we can protect and defend against it.
- 0:14Is this America first or have we got off track?
- 0:18We talk about the Texas primary that was a massive upset this
- 0:22week. And we will end with an
- 0:23incredible segment on Shia LaBeouf that you do not want to
- 0:27miss the ending, It is incredible.
- 0:29So buckle up, get ready, It's the Mark Driscoll Show.
- 0:52Fox News has learned of a disturbing development involving
- 0:55the type of explosive used in the attempted attack and just
- 0:59how dangerous it is. Or this is a bit of a game
- 1:01changer. First of all, let me start by
- 1:03saying New York City got extremely lucky yesterday.
- 1:08TATP is enormously volatile. It is not very stable.
- 1:12It's extremely powerful and it is the footprint and if you go
- 1:17by past events of serious bombing attacks, the London 77
- 1:22attacks, Richard Reid's attempt on a plane, many of us remember
- 1:25the Ariana Grande attacks outside the Manchester Arena.
- 1:30These are situations where you're well into double figures
- 1:34of people killed, nevermind injured.
- 1:37So this was a very, very serious attempt, much more serious, I
- 1:40would argue than it likely seemed to many right initially.
- 1:44And as to why they didn't detonate in light of the fact
- 1:48that they were charged the way they were is going to be
- 1:52something I'm sure that the federal authority is going to be
- 1:55looking at very closely as they investigate these two perps.
- 1:58All right, Pastor Mark, it has been a wild week.
- 2:00So we we bombed Iran and we just keep hitting them hard.
- 2:05Yes. And then we are seeing this
- 2:09uprising in Islamic extremism here in the States.
- 2:13Let me just quickly read you a list of what's happened in last
- 2:16week from Muslims. Muslims shoot up a bar in
- 2:19Austin, TX. 2 dead 14 shot. Muslim lights Molotov cocktail
- 2:24and throws it at Christians in New York.
- 2:26Muslims throw a nail bomb shrapnel IED at Christians in
- 2:30New York. Muslims try to bomb southwest
- 2:32flight to Nashville or from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale.
- 2:35Muslims throw an IED shouting Al Akbar at anti Islam protest near
- 2:41the mansion. Muslim makes bomb threat on
- 2:44plane, forces emergency landing in Atlanta.
- 2:47Muslim background guy drops bomb threat at Kansas City airport.
- 2:51Explosions hit near U.S. embassy in Oslo while tensions
- 2:56skyrocket. And the Muslims are like, why
- 2:59did the people in America not like us?
- 3:01And it's like, well, you seem to be not a religion of peace, but
- 3:05maybe a religion of war. And we're seeing more and more
- 3:08of this and just a lot of extremism.
- 3:12Yeah. And so you go over to Iran,
- 3:14you're trying to chop the head off the snake of global terror.
- 3:17And so just to hit Iran, you know, Iran has been funding
- 3:22their proxies, Hezbollah, Houthis, Hamas, of course,
- 3:26invaded Israel on October 7th. And so literally the number one
- 3:31state sponsor of terror is Iran. And so, you know, if you want to
- 3:36choke out the supply line of terror, you got to go get Iran.
- 3:39So we're bombing Iran, and then you're going to see an
- 3:43escalation nationally, domestically, as people who are
- 3:46sympathetic towards Iran and toward Islam.
- 3:50And then you've got to ask yourself, why is it that Tucker
- 3:55Carlson and Candace Owens are against Israel?
- 3:57They're not against Islam. Why is it that we are being told
- 4:04that Christian nationalism is a great danger but Islamic
- 4:07nationalism is not? It is wild that we are currently
- 4:11bombing political leaders that are Islamic in one country and
- 4:17voting for them in our own. It's wild, like we were just
- 4:22driving through Dearborn, MI couple days ago and it is
- 4:26mosques and it's. A different country?
- 4:28Called the prayer and you know, Arabic and Farsi and Ramadan.
- 4:33And if you would have blindfolded me and then dropped
- 4:37me off, I would have said, oh heck, I just landed in
- 4:39Mogadishu. I mean, it's wild.
- 4:41And so and what what is really interesting with this one as
- 4:45well, you've got Mandami who immediately turns the narrative
- 4:49to this is he used the language and they could bigotry and
- 4:53racism. So immediately it is white
- 4:58nationalists who are violent extremists and dangerous, and he
- 5:04is a victim. Yeah, we actually, I think we
- 5:06have that clip. So let's play that just so the
- 5:08audience can hear him say that for himself.
- 5:10Because it's it's pretty. And it's a lie.
- 5:12It's not true. It's an absolute lie.
- 5:13He's protecting his people. Plus we're home.
- 5:16At the time, this was a vile protest rooted in white
- 5:20supremacy entitled Stop the Islamic Takeover of New York
- 5:23City. I'm the first Muslim mayor of
- 5:26our city. Anti Muslim bigotry is nothing
- 5:30new to me, nor is it anything new for the 1 million or so
- 5:33Muslim New Yorkers who know this city as our home.
- 5:36While I found this protest appalling, I will not waver in
- 5:39my belief that it should be allowed to happen.
- 5:42Ours is a free society where the right to peaceful protest is
- 5:46sacred. It does not belong only to those
- 5:48we agree with, it belongs to everyone.
- 5:52So bigotry and racism. So what happens is you've got
- 5:54Jake Lang, he's a far right agitator, activist, yields a
- 5:58protest, a we don't need Islam in New York, which I totally
- 6:04agree with. So not saying I would have been
- 6:06at that particular event, but I agree with the sentiment.
- 6:10So then somebody shows up with a bomb immediately Mandami says,
- 6:14see, the white nationalists showed up here and they were
- 6:17going to bomb my house. Come to find.
- 6:20Tell me if these sound like 2 white nationalists, Amir Balat
- 6:24and Ibrahim Kuami. Definitely not white.
- 6:29Yeah, it's not like my name is Joe and this is my buddy Ted It.
- 6:33Wasn't those guys? These are not the guys drinking,
- 6:37you know, Bud Light and thinking that wrestling is real.
- 6:40Yeah, that's not the crowd here. And they were angered by the
- 6:44anti Islam protest. They're being investigated for
- 6:48domestic terrorism and they were inspired by ICE.
- 6:51So they showed up with an IED to blow up anti Islamists.
- 6:57So what this was again, this was Islam being a religion of
- 7:01violence, showing up to murder people at a peaceful protest.
- 7:06Now in America you have you have right to freedom of speech and
- 7:09assembly and protest. So what is happening is legal.
- 7:14The Muslim guys show up to do terrorism and the mayor lies and
- 7:19he doesn't come out afterward and say, actually, I decry
- 7:23violence by Muslim terrorists inspired by ISIS and, and, and
- 7:30next time there is a protest and you don't agree with it, please
- 7:34don't shout Allah Akbar and blow people up.
- 7:37He doesn't say that. Yep, I mean it would be very
- 7:41counter as a narrative, especially since he's a Muslim.
- 7:44He's a very Muslim. Like I'm a pregnant Asian chick.
- 7:47I know, yeah, I think he's very deceptive.
- 7:50He's he's trying to turn the narrative.
- 7:51He's trying to show a different version.
- 7:53And our good friends, etcetera say that's how it always comes
- 7:56in and then it turns violent. Yes.
- 7:58And we're seeing that because, oh, we're cutting the head off
- 8:00the snake and we're just seeing these domestic terrorism events.
- 8:04We saw this weekend a Southwest flight 2094 from Nashville to
- 8:09Fort Lauderdale. A passenger was shouting death
- 8:14to America, death to Trump while on a pilot or while on a plane
- 8:19full of Americans. And after 911, that's some scary
- 8:23stuff. It's very scary.
- 8:24I mean, if you were on that flight, you'd be terrified.
- 8:26And I would be beating a guy. Yes, yes, you would, yes.
- 8:30You have to. For sure.
- 8:33Yeah, absolutely. It's not a religion of peace.
- 8:36Christians don't do this when we're pissed off, they get on
- 8:40Acts and say gross things. But yeah, we're very rarely does
- 8:45a Christian go and attack people and use a bomb.
- 8:49How many terrorist activities? How many presidential
- 8:51assassination attempts? The murder of Charlie Kirk?
- 8:55Shootings at Christians schools take over like happened in
- 9:01Minneapolis of services, like how often is this happening from
- 9:04the right? Like we're not taking over the
- 9:06mosque. We're not shooting up the
- 9:08Islamic schools. We're not shooting the
- 9:10Democratic candidates. I mean, this is this is
- 9:13political violence from the left to the right almost exclusively.
- 9:17And then the narrative is that the right is violent and
- 9:21dangerous and it just, it doesn't, it doesn't fit reality.
- 9:25And this is what? Nobody would even shoot Biden.
- 9:28I mean, you'd feel bad. You could take him down with a
- 9:30nerf gun, yeah. For sure.
- 9:31A nerf gun would do it. But part of this as well is some
- 9:35people will wonder like should we be going after terrorists if
- 9:39it in other countries, if it potentially inflames terrorism
- 9:43in our own country. And the truth is when you're
- 9:45dealing with terrorists, you're not dealing with reasonable
- 9:47people. You're dealing with religious
- 9:49ideology that is extremist and demonic.
- 9:53And This is why, for example, like in the days of Joshua, God
- 9:57says, hey, when you go to take the promised land.
- 9:59Kill them all. Because their kids are infected
- 10:03with the same demon. And so you can get rid of one,
- 10:06but then the next generation is just going to pick up where that
- 10:08one left off. And we're seeing that like we're
- 10:10now, I think 3 tears deep into killing political and military
- 10:15leaders, which are also religious leaders in Iran.
- 10:19And, and the issue is with certain people, you, if you
- 10:22allow them to live, all they're going to do is evil.
- 10:25And furthermore, their kids. They've got the same demon and
- 10:28they have the same agenda. Well, for any of the people that
- 10:30are like, we, I mean, doing this in Iran is causing all this
- 10:34violence in America. It's like, well, doing this in
- 10:36Iran, we found out somebody's hiding in your closet at your
- 10:38house and it's going to attack your family.
- 10:40I'm glad. I mean, I'm not glad this
- 10:42stuff's happening, but I'm glad it's coming to the surface
- 10:45because it'll breed and it will fill America.
- 10:48And I would rather know there's a terrorist in this nation
- 10:52sooner than later. And they seem to be failing at
- 10:55every turn. They're not very well organized
- 10:57terrorists, but one of them might be.
- 11:00And we might see a, a plane blow up.
- 11:02We might see, I mean. There is a threat of terror on
- 11:05the homeland and sleeper cells. I mean, since we had an open
- 11:08border, it's like we don't know who's here and we don't know
- 11:10what they're working on. What should the average husband
- 11:13father do? Because there, I mean, there
- 11:15seems like there's just going to be a heightened risk for a
- 11:17little while. I think, you know, just as a
- 11:19husband and a father, the Bible talks early on that God gives a
- 11:22man dominion and your your home, that's your dominion.
- 11:25So you've got to secure it. You've got to ask yourself,
- 11:27like, do I have good security cameras?
- 11:29Do I have, you know, a word that when I say that to my wife and
- 11:33kids, we run the drill, You know, do I have firearms?
- 11:36Do I have a plan? Am I thinking through how to
- 11:39secure my property? I mean, it's, you may not be
- 11:42able to keep the border of America, but you need to do your
- 11:45best to safeguard the border of your residence for your family.
- 11:49And each man is responsible for his fear of dominion.
- 11:52And, and this is so that you know your family can be safe,
- 11:55but it also means, you know, what we're seeing as well is
- 12:00Christians may not understand this, but the, the core tenets
- 12:03of Islam are ones that encourage this behavior.
- 12:07So anybody who's not a believer, seeing Christianity, if you're
- 12:11not a believer, we say you're lost and, and Jesus wants you
- 12:14found, they call you an infidel. That's different.
- 12:18An infidel is literally an enemy.
- 12:21We don't see lost people as enemy.
- 12:22We see lost people as taking captive by the enemy.
- 12:26And we want to set captives free.
- 12:28So they're not our enemy. They're they're our, they're a
- 12:30mission field. In addition, the only way you're
- 12:34guaranteed to go to heaven, their version of heaven and
- 12:37Islam is that you die as a martyr.
- 12:39If you just die, Allah gets to flip the coin and decide.
- 12:43But if you die a martyr, especially as a male, you go
- 12:46directly into paradise and you get 72 virgins.
- 12:50This is not in the Quran, it's in other literature, and those
- 12:54gals are around the age of 33. It says that they're so
- 12:57beautiful that they can't. These are women that can't be
- 13:00unveiled on the earth in this lifetime because they're too
- 13:03beautiful that they literally sing your praises for all of
- 13:08eternity. And they're all virgins.
- 13:11And when you sleep with them, they immediately then return to
- 13:14virgin status. And so their view of eternity is
- 13:18like, if you're a terrorist, you're like, well, if I go do
- 13:22jihad, holy war, I get to live in a brothel with eternal
- 13:27virgins who never age and are around 33 and, you know,
- 13:30beautiful. And they return to virginity
- 13:33every night. And I get to live in a brothel
- 13:35forever and ever and ever. When you sell that to a guy,
- 13:40you're going to get some really evil, self-destructive behavior.
- 13:45Yeah, it will. And on earth it's a very lust
- 13:48driven religion. I mean, we were on with the
- 13:51Sedros a few weeks ago and they were explaining that basically I
- 13:56don't know how there is any Muslim women.
- 13:58It feels like an oxy. Well, it's an oppression.
- 14:00It's an oppression and they just keep hiding the women more and
- 14:03more. That's first the veil, then the
- 14:05covering the eyes and then the women aren't even allowed to
- 14:07speak because it's causing guys to stumble.
- 14:09So it's just guys that can be as lustful as they want and just
- 14:12cover up all the women and we won't have to look at them or
- 14:15stumble. They're just allowing the guys
- 14:17to become. Animals.
- 14:20Animals. It really is an animalistic
- 14:21culture. And then yeah, they're going to
- 14:23rape white women because the women aren't covering up like
- 14:26the Muslim women. But I I just don't understand
- 14:29why any Muslim women are staying Muslim women.
- 14:32In an oppressive environment. So let's say you grew up in a
- 14:34strictly religious home and you're married off.
- 14:38Let's say you have a domineering, overbearing father
- 14:41and then you're married off at a very young age and Islamic man
- 14:45can take up to four wives. Well, now you.
- 14:48Let's say the founder and then you.
- 14:49Can rewrite rules yeah, then you could have upwards of 11 so then
- 14:52you don't have the same legal rights maybe you don't have a
- 14:55driver's license, you don't have voting rights you don't have
- 14:57access to the family checking account.
- 15:00You literally have no way to leave and.
- 15:04And I think it's capital punishment if if you convert
- 15:07out. Well, yeah, and if you just
- 15:08leave your husband, like, where do you go?
- 15:10Your family isn't going to take you back because now you've
- 15:12shamed the family and you know, in in Islamic teaching, the
- 15:17first time your wife disagrees with you, you can yell at her.
- 15:20The second time she sleeps on the couch.
- 15:22Third time you can beat her. And if you know that's coming as
- 15:25a woman and you got a domineering, overbearing
- 15:27husband, and maybe he's got two or three otherwise, and there's
- 15:31nowhere for you to go and you don't have any legal rights or
- 15:33money, you know what you're going to do.
- 15:35It's like being a prisoner of war.
- 15:37It's being in a hostage situation and your abuser that
- 15:41torments you as your husband. And that's not marriage.
- 15:45That's abuse, you know, And so guys like Mondami who will come
- 15:50on and say, you know, we're a religion of peace and we're
- 15:52about diversity and, you know, we love everybody.
- 15:55It's like, that's not what Islam teaches.
- 15:58And furthermore, his wife got in trouble this week because she's
- 16:00liking posts regarding Hamas's invasion of Israel October 7th
- 16:05where women are getting raped, and she's liking those posts.
- 16:09It's like, what this is is this is just absolute deception.
- 16:15And some people are gullible enough to look at the words and
- 16:18not look at the deeds. And it's not what you say, it's
- 16:21what you do. Yeah, yeah.
- 16:23And any of the feminists for it is one of the most oppressive
- 16:26religion. I mean, think about that.
- 16:28Like, you can have four wives and you can beat them and the
- 16:32the husband's dream is one day I'm going to die and go to
- 16:34heaven and have 72 virgins. So like, my hope is to be
- 16:38married in heaven, and I think you and I agree on that.
- 16:41Our wives both don't agree with us that we'll be married in
- 16:43heaven. They're just theologically
- 16:44wrong. But.
- 16:46Yeah, I whether. I'm not hoping I end up with 72
- 16:49other women. If my wife knew that, then oh,
- 16:51my gosh. I just hope that I die and meet
- 16:5472 beautiful women. What a perv.
- 16:56Yeah. Like, so yeah, I don't know.
- 16:58Feminists for Muslims is, like you said, like.
- 17:02Vegans for, you know. Carnivores, yeah.
- 17:04Yeah, but but in this too, it's like every time he gets on, he's
- 17:10only been in the job a short while.
- 17:12He's got already got an economic crisis.
- 17:14They've taken away in New York schools for the gifted, the
- 17:18students because he says it is against equity.
- 17:22It's like, OK, so we don't want more smart people.
- 17:26I mean, but what we're seeing here is just the logical outcome
- 17:30of Islam married to progressivism and it is anti
- 17:35American Sharia laws and it's anti constitutionalism and then
- 17:40certain people show up with bombs and they're going to just
- 17:42kill people. But if you say that, you're a
- 17:45bigot. If you don't say that, you're
- 17:49overtaken and your nation is stolen.
- 17:51Just like happened in North Africa, just happened in Turkey,
- 17:54just like happened in Egypt. Islam eventually comes in and it
- 17:58conquers and conquests and there's nobody and nothing left.
- 18:01And Christianity is gone. And so is liberty.
- 18:03So what you're seeing in Iran right now, you're seeing people
- 18:06rising up. They wish they had the Second
- 18:08Amendment. This thing would be over.
- 18:11But they want regime change. They're tired of living under
- 18:13this. You're seeing mosques close
- 18:17Iran, and a very young, vibrant Christian Church, and they see
- 18:23Christianity as liberation from oppression.
- 18:26And it's being led by women who are like, we want Jesus, not
- 18:30jihad. Yep.
- 18:31And in America, the brainwashing of the government education has
- 18:36people thinking that this is the most oppressive place to be.
- 18:39Oh, it's yeah, it's awful. And I think I'd love to play a
- 18:43clip of one of the most oppressive men I know, our
- 18:45secretary of War. That's a joke I like.
- 18:48You know, he just said this yesterday and I think it's a
- 18:53helpful talking point. Is it possible to achieve the
- 18:56objectives President Trump has set before you if we don't
- 19:00locate and obtain and extract the highly enriched uranium?
- 19:04There's a lot of different ways we can get after that.
- 19:06They've used a conventional umbrella of of missiles that was
- 19:10growing every single day, their production capacity to try to
- 19:13cover over their nuclear blackmail ambitions.
- 19:16As far as how you get at that nuclear option, we'll make sure
- 19:20that their nuclear ambitions are never achieved.
- 19:22Will we take it out ourselves? Well, I would never tell you or
- 19:25anybody else what our options are.
- 19:26See, that's another thing people keep asking.
- 19:29That's. Another question, very fair
- 19:30question. People ask boots on the ground.
- 19:32No boots on the ground. Four weeks, 2 weeks, six weeks.
- 19:35Go in, go in. President Trump knows.
- 19:38I know. You don't tell the enemy, you
- 19:41don't tell the press, you don't tell anybody what what your
- 19:44limits would be on an operation. We're willing to go as far as we
- 19:47need to in order to be successful.
- 19:49Do we have any overt or covert forces inside Iran now?
- 19:57I wouldn't tell you that if we did.
- 19:59The only reason I ask is earlier this week you said no.
- 20:03Is that still the answer? Yeah, that's still the answer.
- 20:05But we reserve the right. We would be completely unwise if
- 20:09we did not reserve the right to take any particular option,
- 20:12whether it included boots on the ground or no boots on the
- 20:15ground. Journalists are stupid.
- 20:17Yeah, they're like, well, we're not going to tell the media or
- 20:20enemies. Well, I think you're being
- 20:21repetitive. The media may be your enemy, but
- 20:26it is very interesting people are.
- 20:29I don't like President Trump's approach, but like you said, it
- 20:32feels like America's the most depressive place to be.
- 20:34Trump is liberating. It feels like he's trying to
- 20:37liberate people for good. Not for five years, yes.
- 20:40And that seems like it's the mistake of many of the
- 20:42presidents before him. Yeah, they kicked the can down
- 20:45the road. It's like, let's, you know,
- 20:46let's try and do sanctions. Let's try and get him to play
- 20:49nice. Let's make it economically
- 20:51unfeasible. And if they do agree or abide,
- 20:55well, then we reopen oil reserves and we send cash.
- 20:59And that's what's happened in the past.
- 21:01You know, we open the oil reserves, we send cash, and then
- 21:03October 7th hits because now we're funding terrorism.
- 21:07And so, you know, there are certain people that are just
- 21:10demonic and evil and they believe it is.
- 21:13They're in the same way that a Christian would say, you know, I
- 21:17get up every day and you know, the thing I'm committed to most
- 21:21is loyalty to Jesus and introducing people to him.
- 21:25A Christian would say, I will die for that.
- 21:28That is my greater good, 'cause theirs is death to Israel, death
- 21:32to America. That's it.
- 21:34So you would say Islam is not compatible with the?
- 21:36West, it is completely incompatible with constitutional
- 21:38Christianity because constitutionalism says, hey,
- 21:42we're governed by some founding documents.
- 21:44Islam says you're governed by Sharia law and Quran and that
- 21:48means they cannot coexist. And so any word is gone.
- 21:52It has to topple the government and has to remove whatever the
- 21:55documents are so that Sharia law and Islam, because this is their
- 21:58vision. The the the jihadis vision is
- 22:01that the whole globe would be ruled by Islam and under Sharia
- 22:06law, and then a global leader would rise up and he would rule
- 22:10the world in the name of Allah. And So what we would call the
- 22:13Antichrist, they would call their hope.
- 22:16Their hope is a globalist agenda ruled by Islam, where one leader
- 22:21rises up and rules the world for Allah.
- 22:24So you would believe that Trump's actions and Pete's are
- 22:29America first because these people are yelling death to
- 22:32America, and that's a threat. If I said death to the Driscoll
- 22:36family every day, Every day. Made it part of the school
- 22:39curriculum. So like there's some people at
- 22:42our church that escaped Iran when they were little.
- 22:45And so like the school that they went to the the doormat, it had,
- 22:52I think America and Israel. And you had to wipe your feet on
- 22:54it every day as a kid to go into school.
- 22:56And you would shout and chant as part of the curriculum in school
- 22:59like we would do when I was young.
- 23:01I don't think we do it anymore because we've lost our
- 23:03patriotism. But you would do the Pledge of
- 23:05Allegiance, their Pledge of Allegiance, death to Israel,
- 23:09death to America. And so kids from the youngest
- 23:13age are brainwashed that that we are the great Satan.
- 23:18They see this as an entirely spiritual warfare matter.
- 23:23And so with people like that, you're like, well, how do you
- 23:25negotiate? You can't.
- 23:26How do you compromise? You can't what you can do, you
- 23:30can wait, but the longer you wait, you're just allowing them
- 23:33to prepare to do the inevitable. Yep.
- 23:36And so, yeah, if. And it is weird that yeah, the,
- 23:41the, the responsibility of the leader of America is to take
- 23:45care of Americans. The leader of Canada should be
- 23:48to take care of Canadians. The leader of, you know,
- 23:52whatever other country you want to get should be to take care of
- 23:55their people. I mean, your first
- 23:58responsibility is to take care of your family.
- 24:01So you're saying that if there's people shouting death to America
- 24:04and we're Americans and we're the and you're the president,
- 24:07you should probably deal with the big country that is building
- 24:10nukes that are saying death to America.
- 24:12The whole goal is nuclear aspiration.
- 24:14And, and they would tell you because like you could look at
- 24:16the Hamas charter, for example, the Hamas charter literally
- 24:20expressly says we exist to obliterate the nation of Israel
- 24:24from the face of the earth. If that is the express intent of
- 24:28the government of Gaza, which is a proxy of Iran, you should take
- 24:33that seriously. And what they're, what they're
- 24:35wanting to do. See, they can't win an arms race
- 24:39or a war or, or, or or strikes against Israel unless they get a
- 24:44nuke. And then you've got one bomb to
- 24:47eliminate a whole nation. And so that's their goal.
- 24:49I mean, we're, we're seeing it right now, like their navy's
- 24:52gone, their Air Force is gone, their military's decimated.
- 24:55They can't win a war. But if you have a nuke, you win.
- 25:00All you got to do is just drop one bomb and you eliminate the
- 25:02nation of Israel. And if you get 2, you find a way
- 25:05to send it to the US. And anybody who doesn't take
- 25:08that seriously isn't paying attention.
- 25:10Anybody who thinks I think if we're nice to them, they will
- 25:13sort of not. You tolerate they.
- 25:15Will they will dominate. That's how it always works.
- 25:17If you tolerate, they will dominate.
- 25:18And so, yeah, this is, unfortunately, American troops
- 25:23will die. Unfortunately, there will be
- 25:24some terrorist acts on the homeland.
- 25:27All of that is tragic and unfortunate.
- 25:31But the question is, would waiting have caused it to be any
- 25:35different? I mean, we've been 47 years of
- 25:37conflict with Iraq, and they've been taking American lives.
- 25:41It's not like not bombing them led to peace and flourishing.
- 25:46I mean, the reason we have ICE and TSA and all these things is
- 25:50because of Islam and coming to America and having started.
- 25:54With 911 exactly, it started with the Twin towers and an
- 25:57Islamic terrorist attack. That's that's where all of this,
- 26:00that's where we got ICE, that's where we got the Department of
- 26:03Homeland Security, that's where we got increase in Border
- 26:06Patrol. That's where all of this came
- 26:07from. Yeah, it's interesting.
- 26:09Everybody is freaking out. OK, we're going to do boots on
- 26:12the ground. The press secretary didn't rule
- 26:14out the draft. All these things, everyone.
- 26:18'S like. I know because I know leadership
- 26:21and what Trump has pulled all these people in a room to say
- 26:23is, hey, no matter what you do, where you say it, how you say
- 26:26it, you cannot say that. Any options off the table.
- 26:28So if somebody asks you if a drafts on the table, it's on the
- 26:31table, it's boots on the ground on the table, it's on the table.
- 26:34Is a nuke on the table? It's on the table.
- 26:36Like he's just told his team what to say and they are all
- 26:38parroting it and everyone's freaking out.
- 26:40Oh my gosh, We're going to have a draft question mark.
- 26:43Are we going to have a draft? We're.
- 26:44Not going to have a draft and Lord willing, we will not have
- 26:47boots on the ground. But you can't say that in the
- 26:49same way Christians, some of the liberal, progressive Christians
- 26:52at the beginning of, you know, the, the rounding up of illegal
- 26:55aliens, undocumented residents, they were like, Oh my gosh,
- 27:00they've not ruled out entering into churches.
- 27:02Well, do you know why? Because if you say we won't go
- 27:04into churches, they're all going to go to the churches.
- 27:07So you don't, it's it's like in football, you don't before the
- 27:11kickoff, hand your playbook over to the opposing team.
- 27:15Yep. You just you play the game and
- 27:18you let them guess. Trump literally wrote the book
- 27:21The Art of the Deal. Yeah, he is an expert
- 27:23negotiator, and he has pretty much every world leader in
- 27:26submission to him except this country that is choosing to not.
- 27:30And he will put them in submission.
- 27:33Yeah, I'd be shocked if we had boots on the ground.
- 27:34I think it only complicates things and only slows it down if
- 27:37we put Americans there. No, America first means, you
- 27:41know, eliminate the terror threat.
- 27:43What we do not want is what the neocons used to do and that is
- 27:47to try and do nation building. You do, you know, it didn't work
- 27:51in Afghanistan, It didn't work in Iraq.
- 27:52Like let's not get started on another, you know, circus.
- 27:58But two, what you're seeing with Iran is Iran is not even loyal
- 28:01to Islam. No.
- 28:04They're bombing all of their Muslim neighbors.
- 28:08And so at this point, Iran is not just representing Islam.
- 28:12They are. They're actually becoming an
- 28:16enemy of even Islam. And and Islam and the centers
- 28:22would say is a very low IQ religion.
- 28:24I didn't say it, but they are very low IQ.
- 28:27It's not smart. And the the country's not smart.
- 28:29The religious situation there is not smart.
- 28:32I heard something about the son being elected and AS.
- 28:34He's already been wounded. Prepare to meet.
- 28:38Prepare to meet your dad, son. Yeah.
- 28:40I mean, yeah, I'd be like. Yeah.
- 28:47Everybody who gets this job gets blown up.
- 28:50And we don't have a Navy or an Air Force.
- 28:52Yeah, yeah. Not signing up for that.
- 28:56Job. No, I don't want that job.
- 28:57It's like, you know what, at some point, you know, like, hey,
- 28:59Dad, I'm a differentiate. I'm going into vacuum cleaner
- 29:02sales. I'm pivoting.
- 29:03Yeah. What's this I'm going to do?
- 29:05Hey, guys, we still have our middle finger left.
- 29:06Let's just throw that at Trump. Yeah, I don't know.
- 29:09It feels like a losing battle. But yeah, I think what is the
- 29:13advice for the young Christian man?
- 29:16We're going to get into deconstructionism on the right,
- 29:18but this, I, I feel like the framing of this being America
- 29:22First is so important. Listening to Pete Eggseth talk
- 29:26about it, I realized how America first, this actually is when,
- 29:30when somebody's shouting death to America, we cannot allow that
- 29:34as much as I wouldn't allow that for my house.
- 29:35If my neighbor was shouting that I I would handle it.
- 29:38Yeah, well, and, and what Trump is saying is this has been 47
- 29:43years and he doesn't know who comes next.
- 29:46So let's get it over with. And it's actually it's very
- 29:49unpopular for him to do this on the right and the left.
- 29:51Nobody's like cheering him on. Well, but what's really
- 29:54interesting too globally, other than China and Iran and and, and
- 29:59Russia with Iran, nobody is saying we're going to miss that
- 30:04guy and that nation had real potential.
- 30:08Yep, everybody's. I mean, even the people in
- 30:12Europe that don't like us and the Brits and those who used to
- 30:14be friends and now they're acting like the ex-wife.
- 30:17Yeah, it's funny. There's no one saying I stand
- 30:18with Iran. Yeah, and be an easy slogan.
- 30:21Yeah, yeah. And it's like everybody's like,
- 30:24well, we're glad he's gone and the world's a better place and
- 30:27the nation has hope. So I mean, there's nobody,
- 30:30there's nobody against it. I think if you do go boots on
- 30:33the ground, I think that's where the sentiment turns.
- 30:35And it's like we got plenty to deal with in country.
- 30:38I think it's far simpler to deal with without boots on the
- 30:40ground. Yeah, it's getting to an
- 30:41election where the people get to vote for a leader.
- 30:44That's the end zone. No more this royal dictatorship
- 30:50where just because you know you have a genetic contribution from
- 30:55you know, some guy who's eternal kindling, that doesn't qualify
- 30:59you for the job. No.
- 31:01Well, thank you for joining us here on Spotify.
- 31:04If you don't know me, my name is Pastor Mark Driscoll.
- 31:07I have been in the pulpit for a little more than 30 years,
- 31:12preaching and teaching the Bible.
- 31:13I have been faithfully married to my wife since 1992.
- 31:17We've got five kids. We got 6 grandkids and I would
- 31:21love for you to know more about Real Faith Ministry where we
- 31:26send Bible teaching around the world.
- 31:29And if you would pray for us, we would appreciate it.
- 31:31And if you'd like to partner with us, we would invite you to
- 31:34do so. We are supported by generous
- 31:38people who give financially so that we can get God's word out
- 31:41to the world. If you'd like to do so, text
- 31:44partner to 99383. Again, text partner to 99383.
- 31:50We love, we thank you, and I appreciate you allowing me to
- 31:55help you learn God's Word. So getting into that topic of
- 31:58deconstructionism on the right, over the weekend we saw Candace
- 32:01Owen tweeted that men should not join the military and if there's
- 32:05any way for them to get out, they should get out of the
- 32:07military. Yeah, all men should definitely
- 32:09follow the advice of Candace Owens.
- 32:11If you're a man following the advice of Candace Owens.
- 32:13You're a nice lady. You're.
- 32:16Not even a nice lady. Yeah, so and then Nick Fuentes
- 32:21is telling young men to vote Democrat, and Tucker Carlson is
- 32:25deconstructing support for Israel on the right.
- 32:27So we're seeing this really gross move on the right.
- 32:31Where is this dividing? Self destructing.
- 32:33Self destructing. Why are we seeing this?
- 32:38Is it helpful? Should young men be listening to
- 32:41these voices? Well, it'll tap into their anger
- 32:44and their frustration and it may even help diagnose some of the
- 32:46problem, but it doesn't provide any solution.
- 32:48So in college, long time ago, I studied rhetoric debate and got
- 32:55into quite a bit of what would be called deconstructionism.
- 32:57It was kind of the undermining of postmodern philosophy.
- 33:00So Daredof, Foucault, Leitard, Rorty read a lot of the original
- 33:05sources and and that was primarily on the left.
- 33:10And so deconstructionism has now moved to the right.
- 33:15And deconstructionism is very simple.
- 33:17I say it in the book Christian Theology versus Critical theory,
- 33:21there's two basic ideologies. There is traditional theory,
- 33:25which is how to build something, and then there's
- 33:28deconstructionism, which is how to tear it down.
- 33:31And and this is everything. OK, So So what you're seeing on
- 33:35the right now that we're winning, the deconstructionists
- 33:38have shown up. Candace is trying to deconstruct
- 33:42TPUSA. Tucker is trying to deconstruct
- 33:45the neocons. And I think a lot of what is
- 33:48driving him is he doesn't like the neocons and he thinks that
- 33:52they have been beholden to Israel and to Jewish support
- 33:55dollars. So I think his deconstruction is
- 33:57with the neocons. And then Nick Fuentes is just
- 34:01angry at Mega because young men came out and voted and their
- 34:05lives have not gotten better and easier, and so he wants to
- 34:07deconstruct Mega. And so all of that is just
- 34:11deconstruction. Building something is really
- 34:15hard, like building anything is really hard.
- 34:17Charlie built something awesome and it was a lot of work.
- 34:20And it's really hard to build something.
- 34:22It's really easy to tear something down.
- 34:23So easy. This is why like my dad worked
- 34:26in construction and to find a demo crew, what you pay them an
- 34:30hour is very different than what you pay it's. 1/10.
- 34:33A finishing crew. To pay $100.00 an hour for a
- 34:36finisher and a $10.00 an hour for a.
- 34:38Demo And if you can get a gorilla, you get a gorilla
- 34:41because it's a good gorilla job. Comparing Nick Fuentes to a
- 34:44gorilla as an insult to the gorilla.
- 34:46Yes, it is. I apologize to the gorilla, but
- 34:51what happens is the deconstruction is it taps into
- 34:53the angst and the anger and the frustration and it's like, we'll
- 34:58just tear it all down. It's like, well, but what are
- 35:00you going to build? What?
- 35:02What are you going to build? Well, you'll get a lot of views
- 35:04and likes when you deconstruct the right.
- 35:06But it is, I think we are so privileged as Americans and
- 35:12we're privileged to have a Trump president like Trump, especially
- 35:15as Christian, somebody who is praying in the White House,
- 35:17inviting pastors. I'm going tomorrow to pray with
- 35:21the president and work with the faith council and super excited
- 35:24about that. We have a president that's doing
- 35:26that and prioritizing that in the midst of war.
- 35:29And what would what would today look like if Kamala was our
- 35:33president? The borders would be continually
- 35:37wide open, which means that all the social services in all the
- 35:41major cities would be further in debt.
- 35:44We'd be funding all the LGBTQ in Norway for.
- 35:47Goods we'd be having massive fraudulent spending and the
- 35:51housing market would be worse because it's a supply demand
- 35:54situation. When you bring 10s of millions
- 35:57of people into a country, they need a place to live, well, then
- 36:01that sets off an escalation in housing prices because it's a
- 36:05supply demand situation. National debt would be even
- 36:09worse. And Oh yeah, and issues of
- 36:13religious liberty and freedom and family.
- 36:17I mean, we know for a fact that the previous administration was
- 36:21targeting pro-life clinics and churches and, and, and
- 36:25Christians. We know that.
- 36:27And so I don't need the president to be the pastor in
- 36:30chief. I just need them to protect the
- 36:33liberties that our country constitutionally is guaranteed.
- 36:37And then it's the church's job to be the church.
- 36:39It's not the, it's not the church's job to want the
- 36:42government to do the church's job.
- 36:45And so, you know, we had two options.
- 36:47And by the grace of God, we got by far and away the best option
- 36:51and. Nick Fuentes is like vote
- 36:54Democrat. We don't have for one term
- 36:57Democrat. This country could.
- 37:01Well, we talked about it last time too.
- 37:03Like there are other elections, there's, there's gubernatorial
- 37:05elections, there's attorney general elections, there's,
- 37:08there's state and local elections.
- 37:10So if you either don't vote or you just vote Democrat down the
- 37:12ticket, it's like like we're here in Arizona and Arizona is a
- 37:17swing state and our, our governor, attorney general, our
- 37:20clown show, she set the record for just vetoing.
- 37:25All she's good at is vetoing. We've got to get that fixed.
- 37:28And if the Christians don't vote or vote Democrat, then we could
- 37:32lose school choice for families. It makes it a far less habitable
- 37:38place for young people to marry, have kids, buy a home, educate.
- 37:43Like there's a lot of other issues at stake.
- 37:45But when you're just a single guy who's angry and you're not a
- 37:49a husband and a father with a family and a future, you're not
- 37:52thinking in those terms. And so, you know, do I
- 37:56understand sometimes the anger? Yeah.
- 37:58But what are you going to do? What are you going to build?
- 38:02Like, what? What is the alternative?
- 38:03Because when we saw deconstructionism on the left,
- 38:07let's say during the George Floyd and the BLM, it was let's
- 38:11let's deconstruct, you know, the police force.
- 38:15Yep. OK.
- 38:17Well, OK. So then what are you going to
- 38:19build? Well, we're going to build
- 38:22psychological advocates. Well, I tell you right now,
- 38:26cartel leaders are not going to stand down from psychological
- 38:29advocates. So even if something isn't
- 38:32perfect, the question is, if you deconstruct it, will you build
- 38:36something better? And if not, even though it's not
- 38:40great, it's better than what's going to happen after you
- 38:43deconstruct what you already have.
- 38:45I've met 5 million fools that thought they were going to start
- 38:48to renovate their home and they did the demo and then they
- 38:51couldn't get them back together. I've also met those same fools.
- 38:54That's wild. Yeah.
- 38:56My, my, my life verse right now is Jeremiah 29.
- 39:00Five. I was telling you this the other
- 39:02day. This is to the Exiles in
- 39:04Babylon, a Pagan nation with a Pagan king under heavy
- 39:08persecution. This is what the Lord Almighty,
- 39:11the God of Israel says. Build houses, settle down, plant
- 39:15gardens, eat what they produce. Marry and have sons and
- 39:17daughters. Find wives for your sons and
- 39:19give your daughters in marriage so that they may too have sons
- 39:22and daughters. Increase in your number, do not
- 39:24decrease. Also seek the peace and
- 39:26prosperity of the city which I've called you to in exile.
- 39:29Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers.
- 39:32You too, Prosper. That's incredible.
- 39:35Build something. Build something.
- 39:36That's a vision for young men. It takes a while.
- 39:39Get married, get some land, have a family, have kids and start
- 39:45thinking about legacy for generations, you know, and and
- 39:50that gets a man motivated. So you take all of that anger
- 39:53and angst and you could put it toward Acts or a family.
- 39:57X is birth control. A family is awesome.
- 40:00Yeah, a business, a ministry, a family.
- 40:03Go build something. Build something.
- 40:05Yeah. It feels like the answer right
- 40:06now. I feel like that's what.
- 40:07I'm not going to speak for Charlie Kirk, but that's he he
- 40:10inspired young men. He didn't just get him angry.
- 40:13He acknowledged the problem. But hey, we we can save it,
- 40:16guys. We can do this.
- 40:17And that's why I think so many young men resonated with
- 40:19Charlie. And I think part of the problem
- 40:22is so many people are putting their, like, they put Trump in
- 40:25the savior category. No, Trump is the president, and
- 40:28he's just clearing the runway for young men to build.
- 40:31So young men get out and build. Yeah, and, and at the end of the
- 40:36day, if young men don't build it, it doesn't even matter what
- 40:40the president does because the nation won't have a future.
- 40:43That's that's the thing. It doesn't matter who the
- 40:45president is, even if we had, you know, the greatest political
- 40:49situation in the history of the nation, if the young men were
- 40:52not activated, there is no future, No future.
- 40:55So it, it the, the political is just to clear the runway so
- 40:58young men can get their plane up.
- 41:00But if the young men don't want to get their plane up, there is
- 41:03no future. 100 percent, 100% and.
- 41:08But the Just As You Like the deconstructionism on the right,
- 41:12it's just as nasty and nefarious as the deconstructionism on the
- 41:15left. Well, more Christians I yeah, I
- 41:18think more Christians, more young Christian men are buying
- 41:22into it because it feels like a solution.
- 41:24It's not a solution. It's just a problem.
- 41:27And young men in the church need to solve the problem.
- 41:30The government is not going to ever solve all my problems.
- 41:33I am responsible for my life, my family, my house.
- 41:36And I think that's all we can do because it's going to get worse
- 41:39again. I mean, we know that we might,
- 41:43by God's grace and might have another Republican term after
- 41:46this. That would be awesome.
- 41:47It'll kick the can down the field, but the world's going to
- 41:50get worse. At some point it turns back
- 41:53around unfortunately and this is where get your momentum now.
- 41:56Get started now, get to work now, get building now.
- 41:59Well, there is an opportunity and I know it's not easy, but
- 42:03you know, in the future, who says it's going to be an easier
- 42:05and, and on the deconstructionism, just to clue
- 42:07people in pastorally. It starts very simply with,
- 42:10well, we're just going to hold people accountable.
- 42:12It's like, well, who the hell are you?
- 42:14You're a, you're a, you're a podcaster.
- 42:17Who's never held an actual job? Who's never held an actual job
- 42:20or, or never actually held a political office or never built
- 42:23anything. And and then it starts with
- 42:26what? We're just asking questions.
- 42:28Just asking questions. And the first question that's
- 42:31asked in the history of the world is Satan asking a question
- 42:34to Adam and Eve. And if you ask the wrong.
- 42:36So Satan is the first deconstructionist.
- 42:39So he tried to really say he tried to deconstruct heaven, he
- 42:42lost, he came down, he tried to deconstruct earth, and he did so
- 42:46by asking a question. Did God really say?
- 42:47So those who are like, well, we're just asking questions.
- 42:50It's like, well, that is spiritual warfare.
- 42:51And the young woman followed, and the young man was passive
- 42:55and went with it. Yeah.
- 42:56So we already saw the liberal women, the parade of them, and
- 42:59now we're seeing young men go with it.
- 43:01They're like, Oh, yeah, I mean, yeah, the right sucks.
- 43:05Vote Democrat. Literally, overtly.
- 43:07Nick Fontes came out and was like, let's vote Democrat.
- 43:10Hey, the one that mutilates children, that aborts babies.
- 43:14That's who we're voting for now because we're mad at Trump.
- 43:17Yeah, that's a spoiled brat. Well, and it's like, OK, and how
- 43:22will that improve things? It will not.
- 43:24It's just the middle finger to Trump.
- 43:25That's all he's trying to do is a middle finger to the right.
- 43:28But then what happens is debt goes up, taxes goes up, and then
- 43:31young men have got to pay all that off.
- 43:36I, I think, I think we are in such a privileged place in
- 43:38America and I don't think we ever believe that America could
- 43:41fall. Anything can fall.
- 43:43It absolutely the Roman Empire fell, Egypt fell like it we we
- 43:47can absolutely fall. It doesn't matter if we have a
- 43:49nuke. It doesn't matter if we have
- 43:50prosperity, if we go so far woke left killing all our kids, not
- 43:56reproducing and letting Islam in, we will fall.
- 43:59Yeah, no. If you if you go into massive
- 44:02debt, you do not have children that are committed or you don't
- 44:06have children and then you don't have people in country that are
- 44:08committed to the future of the country and eventually you don't
- 44:11have a country. I was, I mean, it was terrifying
- 44:14being in Dearborn. Yeah, yeah.
- 44:17It was like a look into the future.
- 44:19And I texted my wife. I was like, I just want to move
- 44:21to the middle of nowhere and build a Moat and have a compound
- 44:25with our family because I I I think this is the future of
- 44:29America, seeing what that city looks like.
- 44:31And. Yeah, driving through, it was
- 44:33wild. We weren't there long, but that
- 44:34large mosque that we went to, I mean called a prayer.
- 44:38They're violating city laws. They do it at 5:30 in the
- 44:40morning. It's noise ordinance is 7.
- 44:43But good news is their mayor is a Muslim so he doesn't care.
- 44:46Doesn't care Well then the houses around it are just
- 44:49dilapidated and well as well too as you guys pulled out there's a
- 44:55Orthodox Church next door fun fact.
- 44:58And the security from the mosque comes out to.
- 45:02Basically trespasses kick us off the property.
- 45:04Hey, what are you guys doing? It's like we're not even on your
- 45:07property. Oh, so you So let's say a lot of
- 45:10the people in the mosque are in country illegally.
- 45:13They don't believe in borders or law enforcement.
- 45:16But as soon as we show up on the land next door that isn't yours,
- 45:22suddenly you have your own Border Patrol security and
- 45:27you're going to enforce your border.
- 45:30It's like, oh, this is this is adorable.
- 45:33Got it. Yep, makes sense.
- 45:35Speaking of adorable things, there was a wild progressive
- 45:40Democrat, theologic Christian Democrat.
- 45:44We know those don't exist. And to Lurko won an election in
- 45:51Texas upset against a Democratic black female, which is wild.
- 45:57And we're going to roll a clip of some of the craziest things
- 45:59he has said. And then I know you want to
- 46:02address some of the theological issues of what he has said.
- 46:05Do you know any undocumented immigrants?
- 46:08No, I did not. When I was a teacher on the West
- 46:10side of San Antonio, I taught a lot of students who were
- 46:14undocumented. And I don't want to stereotype,
- 46:16but those students tended to be the most patriotic, the hardest
- 46:21working students that I had in the classroom.
- 46:24And again, I haven't stated this enough to to say this
- 46:27definitively, but there are interpretations of certain
- 46:30passages from the Torah where some folks will even say that
- 46:34there is a there is some subtle instructions for how to perform
- 46:40an abortion in the ancient world, certain things to drink,
- 46:42things like that. Before we go further, I want to
- 46:44acknowledge that our trans community needs abortion care
- 46:48too. Defending Trans Texas is
- 46:51something we have to do every day at the state Capitol, and
- 46:55you better believe I'll be getting sermons on that too.
- 46:57So it's wild is the weapon he used to win this election
- 47:01largely was Christian language. Yeah, this is deconstructionism
- 47:04on the left. He's deconstruction.
- 47:07He's deconstructing historical Orthodox Christian faith.
- 47:11And the Democrats are all looking for a solution of I want
- 47:13to be a Christian Democrat and he gave him an option.
- 47:17He doesn't sound like a Christian to me.
- 47:20No, his election is a bit shocking.
- 47:25He was up against an incumbent who's well known and had money
- 47:29and momentum. And so, you know, my, my concern
- 47:32is that this is like a Noah's dove.
- 47:34You know, in, in the days of Noah, they sent the dove out to
- 47:38see if there was land. This is like sending out like
- 47:40the most woke progressive apostate Antichrist candidate
- 47:44and see if he can find some dry land.
- 47:46And he did. And so by background, he's got
- 47:49an M dip Masters in divinity. That's what you need to get to
- 47:52be ordained into the mainline denominations that are
- 47:55abominations. I've got to hear he went to
- 47:57Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
- 48:00It's Presbyterian Church USA. So the Presbyterian Church.
- 48:05There's the Presbyterian Church in America, which is, well, he's
- 48:08my right hand, more conservative.
- 48:10And then there's the Presbyterian Church USA, which
- 48:12is woke, apostate, liberal. I call them the lesbetterians.
- 48:15Those are the lesbetterians. So he went to a lesbetterian
- 48:19seminary, and he said that his lifelong pastor is Jim Rigby.
- 48:23So he looks to as his mentor. And in a 2015 Facebook post, his
- 48:30mentor claimed that the resurrection was simply a quote
- 48:33poem about the whole life process.
- 48:37So these are guys that think that Jesus isn't God, he didn't
- 48:42die on the cross for our sins, and that he stayed dead and the
- 48:45resurrection is a myth. I've actually got a list of
- 48:49things that he said God is non binary.
- 48:51He said God is both masculine and feminine and everything in
- 48:54between. So God is non binary gender
- 48:57spectrum. God is trans.
- 49:00He uses the virgin conception of Mary as a pro abortion argument.
- 49:06He was on Joe Rogan and he said that God asked for Mary's
- 49:11consent. To me that is an affirmation and
- 49:14one of our most central stories of creation has to be done with
- 49:17consent. The procreation has to be done
- 49:20with consent. So he's saying, well, Mary could
- 49:22have aborted Jesus, and so God is pro-choice and pro abortion.
- 49:27You're like, Mary aborting God was an option.
- 49:31Of course not three. In a sermon in 2022, he quotes
- 49:36the Gospel of Thomas. It's a second century Gnostic
- 49:39text, not in the Bible. And he argued that Jesus
- 49:44eliminated traditional gender distinctions, saying, quote,
- 49:49make the male and female one and do the same.
- 49:52So he's quoting the Gospel of Thomas, saying Jesus
- 49:55deconstructed gender #4 religious pluralism, that you
- 49:59don't need Jesus to go to heaven.
- 50:00He says, I believe Christianity points to the truth.
- 50:02I believe other religions of love point to the truth.
- 50:08So you can be any religion and God is fine with you #5 all
- 50:11religions contain the same truth.
- 50:13He says quote, all religions quote point to the same truth.
- 50:18And number six, he always uses the Jesus never said this.
- 50:23So it's in, in, in, in rhetoric and debate.
- 50:26This is the argument from silence.
- 50:28Well, Jesus didn't say anything about nuclear weapons.
- 50:32Well that doesn't mean he was for them.
- 50:34And they didn't have nuclear weapons, so it probably wasn't a
- 50:37massive subject to the dead. I mean, Jesus, yeah, Jesus
- 50:40didn't address only fans, so yeah, that one.
- 50:43'S totally he so he says like Jesus never say anything about
- 50:47abortion, transgenderism or gay marriage.
- 50:49It's like, well actually Jesus did.
- 50:51He goes back and he quotes Genesis.
- 50:53In the beginning God made them male and female.
- 50:57Therefore marriage is for one man and one woman.
- 51:00So he's lying. Plus, Jesus talked about Sodom
- 51:02and Gomorrah, and so these clowns, they'll actually say
- 51:07that the reason that God nukes Sodom and Gomorrah is not
- 51:10because of sexual perversion, which it says in Jude and First
- 51:13Peter. They would say it's because of
- 51:15in hospitality that strangers showed up and they didn't get, I
- 51:19don't know, milk and cookies. So God sent flaming Ron tar to
- 51:21the entire city. And then #7HE describes Jesus.
- 51:26And this is a quote a radical feminist.
- 51:28I know. And So what you're looking at
- 51:31here, so when I first started in ministries a long time ago,
- 51:36there was the beginning of the emerging church and it was the
- 51:38original deconstructionist. And there was a guy named Rob
- 51:41Bell who's now, you know, a pantheist and completely
- 51:44apostate. This is the next round of
- 51:49progressive liberal apostate pseudo Christianity.
- 51:53The the Bible would call this a false teacher.
- 51:56This is not a version of Christianity.
- 51:59This is Antichrist, and So what you're seeing here is someone
- 52:06who is pretending to be Christian in an effort to
- 52:10deceive gullible, naive potential Christians.
- 52:14Jesus will decide if this man goes to heaven or hell.
- 52:18I have no expectation to see him in heaven.
- 52:22Is 0 expectation to see him in heaven?
- 52:26But what you're seeing here as well is if this becomes the new
- 52:29Democratic playbook, let's find woke liberal progressive Bible
- 52:35quoting apostate unbeliever pseudo pastors to run for office
- 52:41and that can pull enough of the confused middle toward the
- 52:46Democratic Party. This is a this is a devastating
- 52:50strategy and it could lead the way for Pete Buttigieg.
- 52:54So Pete Buttigieg would quote the Bible and say he loves Jesus
- 52:58and him and his gay husband air quotes and their adoptive kid or
- 53:04kids, I don't know where they're out on number.
- 53:07He would be the guy that would be in this exact same lane that
- 53:10would be a presidential contender.
- 53:12Yep, it's very dangerous. And I think liberal Christians
- 53:16are looking for this, that the, the people that still believe
- 53:19you can be a Democrat and a Christian that haven't realized
- 53:22that everything has moved over the last 20 years.
- 53:25And it's so he, he knows better. He, he knows the Bible.
- 53:30So he's not being foolish, he's being evil.
- 53:33So foolish people are, they just don't know.
- 53:36Evil people are malicious, intentional and calculated.
- 53:39And So what we're seeing is we're seeing certain people that
- 53:43are maybe they're cultural influencers or content creators
- 53:47or artists, let's say they have a conversion experience and they
- 53:50get rushed to the microphone because they have a platform and
- 53:52they say things and they're new believers and they don't know
- 53:55what they're talking about. And there's a lot of grace for
- 53:57that. It's like, hey, go get
- 53:58discipled, read a few books, give it a few years and then
- 54:02come back. Don't.
- 54:03Don't be verbal processing your belief system.
- 54:06Maybe like Trump does where he's like, I'm not going to make it
- 54:09into heaven. And everyone's like, wait.
- 54:11I thought that was funny. It's like, actually that's not.
- 54:13None of us thinks that's funny, you know, because you don't work
- 54:17your way to heaven. So but a guy like this, this is
- 54:20methodical, intentional calculated deception.
- 54:26This is premeditated. This is not accidental and and
- 54:30so this is. You're profiting off the gospel.
- 54:33This is demonic and you're quoting the word of God and
- 54:35other texts, but he's doing so in this clever sort of nuanced,
- 54:40you know, Well, in the Old Testament, some interpretations
- 54:43of the Torah would give a impression.
- 54:45You're like, dude, dude, do you really think in the Old
- 54:50Testament when Baroness was just a great tragic loss and an
- 54:57exodus? If you, I think it's an exodus.
- 54:59If if a woman is pregnant and two men are fighting and they
- 55:03bump into the pregnant lady, the baby dies.
- 55:05It's a crime. I mean, do you, do you really
- 55:09think that these are pro death people, pro abortion people?
- 55:12You know, like it's insanity. He says that in the Bible 2000
- 55:16times it's talked about so economic injustice and social
- 55:22justice, and it's like, that's not in the Bible.
- 55:24I don't even know what you're pulling out for economic
- 55:26justice. Stealing is, you know, bad.
- 55:30It's a commandment. But by applying that to the
- 55:33government to redistribute wealth and encourage socialism,
- 55:35there are two different things altogether.
- 55:37If somebody breaks into your house and takes your TV, the
- 55:40Bible says thou shalt not steal. That's what it's talking about.
- 55:43Furthermore, when the government takes private property from a
- 55:46citizen for the cause of equity and redistribution, according to
- 55:50socialism, that is not economic justice.
- 55:54That is a violation of private property ownership and thou
- 55:57shalt not steal. And so, but again, the problem
- 56:00too becomes in most churches, they're not doing worldview.
- 56:03They're doing self help and five tips to a better you and three
- 56:07ways to feel better about yourself.
- 56:09And so it, it, it doesn't give people categories.
- 56:11So if somebody seems nice and they're quoting the Bible,
- 56:15there's a large percentage of naive Christians who are like, I
- 56:18don't know, he believes the Bible and he's a Christian.
- 56:21That's the deception of it. Yeah, it's I was listening to
- 56:25somebody talk about he he was saying that quoting the verses
- 56:29where Jesus speaks on helping the needy, the poor, the widows,
- 56:33the orphans. That's to the church and to the
- 56:35Christian. That's not to the government,
- 56:37no. It's not.
- 56:38It's not civil, it's personal. And so he's twisting it all to
- 56:42be the the government is the religion, and the government
- 56:45should be helping the people and redistributing the wealth.
- 56:48So the government is stealing. So yeah, the mental pretzel, he
- 56:52has to put himself in it. But shame to those on the on the
- 56:56right. It'd be like, you know, in the
- 56:57pulpit. We shouldn't talk about
- 56:58politics. It's like, well, this guy is in
- 57:02the pulpit. Yeah.
- 57:04Blaspheming God. Kamala Harris last election was
- 57:08in the pulpit. So, you know, the progressive
- 57:13church has opened up to progressive politicians and
- 57:17allowed blasphemous sermons. And if they're willing to talk
- 57:22about the issues now they're not even political issues.
- 57:24Now we're talking about his biblical issues.
- 57:26And so the Bible teachers need to teach and those who just say,
- 57:29well, I just preach the gospel and I just teach the Bible.
- 57:31It's like you are no help whatsoever because you can't
- 57:34teach faithfully through the word of God and not hit issues
- 57:37of life, family, marriage, gender, private property
- 57:41ownership, human sexuality. I'm.
- 57:44Not sure if he's read Romans. Well, I didn't read it
- 57:47correctly. I mean, you can't read Romans
- 57:50one and end up with, you know, our trans community needs
- 57:53abortion care. First of all, abortion care.
- 57:57Like we're going to murder a baby that's not caring for them.
- 58:00This is where it's anybody who cares about the truth at some
- 58:04point just starts to get pissed. Yeah, because this is all just
- 58:07wordsmithing and Satan is the father of lies.
- 58:10Yep, Yep, 100%. And earlier you referenced the
- 58:16person that gets saved and is wrestling through their faith.
- 58:18And some of those people are doing that very publicly through
- 58:20podcasts and things like that. And one of those guys, young
- 58:23guys we're seeing that seems to be really struggling is Shia
- 58:26LaBeouf. He has been really vocal about
- 58:29his Catholic faith in recent years and he's struggling.
- 58:34He is he is going through it. So we wanted to roll the clip of
- 58:37him and then talk about what can young guys do.
- 58:41What would you say to Jesus if you could meet Him?
- 58:43I want to say. Really.
- 58:47No bro, I kiss God kiss him, I just kiss him, I kiss his feet.
- 58:57No one say nothing. Chill out with these questions,
- 59:06Andrew. My bad, I didn't know I'm.
- 59:09A real Catholic bro, A real 1. I just thought you had thought
- 59:12about. It I'm a real one bro.
- 59:14I want to believe it's something.
- 59:17Well hey bro, you got to hit your head into the wall hard
- 59:19enough where you just go. That's the only way, dog.
- 59:24That's how you find God. Yep.
- 59:25For me, for the hard headed ones, yeah, you got to go hard.
- 59:29What do you think was the real life equivalent of you smashing
- 59:31your head? On the wall, I put a gun in my
- 59:33mouth. I was ready to kill myself, Blow
- 59:34my brains out writing letters. Yeah.
- 59:37Dark days for real gone, Ready to go.
- 59:40Why didn't you do it? Why didn't I do it 'cause I'm
- 59:43pussy. And also my mom.
- 59:44So God bless her, she kept me alive that night.
- 59:47And also some dude, I've said it already, but there was a dude
- 59:50who hit me up, this guy from the program I used to save all the
- 59:54numbers in my phone, you know, Joey A, A, Bobby A, A, Tommy A,
- 59:58A. And there was a cat who hit me
- 1:00:00up that night. I was ready to go and he hit me
- 1:00:03up. He said, hey, what are you
- 1:00:03doing? Or something like that.
- 1:00:04And then I was like trying to explain myself like bro.
- 1:00:08This I'm out of here life. I can't take it no more.
- 1:00:11I just lost my girlfriend. She's walking out the door.
- 1:00:13My wife didn't know the ex is ensuing.
- 1:00:16It's all just I can't wrap my head around at all.
- 1:00:21I'm out of here, bro. And he's like, Oh yeah, cool.
- 1:00:23Tell me about it in the morning. And I thought you mother an
- 1:00:27insensitive piece of shit. And he bought me the night.
- 1:00:30I was so angry. I need to talk to him in the
- 1:00:32morning. Sometimes that'll save you.
- 1:00:34Sometimes just being and like, sometimes madness, rage will
- 1:00:38save you from really scary stuff.
- 1:00:40I don't know. I'm not in charge, you know,
- 1:00:42God's running. I just try my best and I'm not
- 1:00:46refined. And I'm one of them dirty
- 1:00:48Christian. So this is the kind of guy you
- 1:00:50minister often. I mean, we call that a Tuesday
- 1:00:52night at Real Men. Tuesday night, real men.
- 1:00:54We'd love to have you shot. We Jenny would love to have.
- 1:00:56Yeah. He was working on the film.
- 1:00:57What was it Padre Paio so he had to immerse himself, you know,
- 1:01:02actor has to prepare for a role into Catholicism and monastic
- 1:01:07and apparently genuinely converted and and gave his life
- 1:01:11to Christ. So dirty Christian.
- 1:01:17You know, it's I would tell him this here's a here's a freebie
- 1:01:23for everybody who feels like a dirty Christian.
- 1:01:24So there's a picture in Zechariah 3.
- 1:01:27I just thought of this. So there's a picture in
- 1:01:28Zechariah 3. There's Joshua Jesus and then
- 1:01:33there's this Sinner and Jesus is wearing all white clean, pure
- 1:01:37righteous. And then the filthy center is
- 1:01:41just covered in dung and mud and filth and disgust.
- 1:01:46Like think of the homeless guy that's been on the street and
- 1:01:49hasn't had a shower in 10 years. That guy, they're standing next
- 1:01:53to each other. And the picture I think it's in
- 1:01:55Zechariah 3 is that Jesus takes off their outer garment that is
- 1:02:00just disgusting and takes his off and puts his garment on the
- 1:02:05center and then puts the sinner's garment on him.
- 1:02:09It's this fantastic picture of what happened at the cross and
- 1:02:13that is that God took our place and he put us in his place. 2nd
- 1:02:18Corinthians 521 God made him a new no sin to become sin so that
- 1:02:21in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- 1:02:24Martin Luther literally called this the great exchange.
- 1:02:27And so Jesus takes all of our filth and he gives us all of his
- 1:02:32righteousness. This is why in the Bible, God's
- 1:02:35people wear white. They're forgiven, they're pure.
- 1:02:38And there's a doctrine called expiation.
- 1:02:40And that is not only are we forgiven, we're made righteous
- 1:02:44and clean. It says in first John, if we
- 1:02:47confess our sins to one another, walk in the light, you know,
- 1:02:51then he cleanses. He forgives us of our sin and he
- 1:02:54cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
- 1:02:57Many Christians know they're forgiven.
- 1:02:59They still feel they're dirty. Yep.
- 1:03:02Feels like a guy like Shia LaBeouf, like he, he would look
- 1:03:06at a religious person, somebody in the church that's doing all
- 1:03:09the right things. And I'll never measure up to
- 1:03:12that, but I, it's too late. But I can watch a guy like Shia
- 1:03:15LaBeouf and you're like, I think you're a lot closer to being
- 1:03:18saved than the elder on that church's board.
- 1:03:21It's the religious guy who's judging everyone while he's
- 1:03:24cheating on his wife and knows better, so you cannot.
- 1:03:28Dealing with religious fraudsters is hard.
- 1:03:32As a pastor, I can deal with brutal honesty.
- 1:03:37So in a lot of churches, I can't believe his language.
- 1:03:40Look, let me say this, you're saved by grace and then you're
- 1:03:43cleaned up over time. This just proves you're not
- 1:03:47saved by your performance and your good works.
- 1:03:51So what it seems to be is it seems to be he seems to have
- 1:03:54genuinely met the Lord, has a reverence and a respect and
- 1:03:59affection for the Lord. It's very genuine.
- 1:04:02Seems like he's a very troubled man, mental health, addiction,
- 1:04:07probably some trauma in his life and some some, some really, he's
- 1:04:12a gifted, profoundly troubled man.
- 1:04:17And a lot of guys would probably relate to him and say, I, I am a
- 1:04:22Christian and I, I wouldn't maybe say it like that at
- 1:04:25church, but you put 2 beers in me and that's exactly how I
- 1:04:28would say it. Yeah, and this is where the
- 1:04:31evangelical church has failed reprehensibly for guys like
- 1:04:37this, because 75% of the donor basin evangelicalism is women.
- 1:04:42Up until recently, 60% of attenders were women, and all of
- 1:04:47the Christian subculture was safe, positive and uplifting for
- 1:04:50the whole family. Except for them.
- 1:04:52That this guy ain't like. You don't want this guy.
- 1:04:55Hey, Shy Labeouf's here, and he's ready to give his, you
- 1:04:58know, testimony to the homeschool Co-op, you know?
- 1:05:03Yeah, for sure. I mean, all the all the soccer
- 1:05:05moms you know are going to be going zero to 60.
- 1:05:09So is there a place for a guy like this that he can get
- 1:05:13discipled? And in most churches, the answer
- 1:05:16is no. No, once you get your crap
- 1:05:18together and you get married and you're sober and you don't cuss
- 1:05:22anymore and you're no longer a liability and we sort of, you've
- 1:05:26worked the feral out. Well, then you're welcome in.
- 1:05:30So you got to work out the feral if you want to get into
- 1:05:32fellowship. This is why a lot of guys don't
- 1:05:35go to church. They don't fit.
- 1:05:37They're like, I'm still feral. You know, I'm not ready to get
- 1:05:40in there. And I mean, you drop this guy
- 1:05:43in, you know, send him to the average.
- 1:05:46Oh, he get trespassed. Home life group.
- 1:05:48Yep, you know, like hey, we have a Bible study group at Ned
- 1:05:52Flanders house and him and his wife would.
- 1:05:54I mean this dude sits on the couch.
- 1:05:57It's crazy as most churches won't deal with him but they'll
- 1:05:59let the guy, the pervy middle-aged religious guy, come
- 1:06:02in and talk about his porn addiction and they have whole
- 1:06:05support groups for that. But this guy, the young guy in
- 1:06:07his twenties, 30s, he's not welcome.
- 1:06:10That's gross. That's unacceptable.
- 1:06:12We can't have that guy there. He's unsafe.
- 1:06:14I have 100% heart for these guys.
- 1:06:17You have a men's ministry full of them.
- 1:06:19Well, this is on Tuesday night. This is so we we have real men.
- 1:06:22It's much bigger than the building in the parking lot.
- 1:06:25So I got to get the new building open.
- 1:06:27Wednesday nights on online 400,000 guys.
- 1:06:30Yeah. And, and part of it is like, as
- 1:06:33we're going to open the new building for the church, we, we
- 1:06:35got a new building. We can't get men's, women's
- 1:06:38students on the same night because women's, the grace does
- 1:06:41is too big and men's is too big and it's all too big and doesn't
- 1:06:43fit. So I'm going to have to keep
- 1:06:46men's on Tuesday night and then do a second version on Wednesday
- 1:06:49night. And I was praying about him,
- 1:06:50like, Lord, why can't I get it all together?
- 1:06:54And honestly, it's for this guy. So Tuesday night we've got and
- 1:07:00these I mean, he actually would fit at real men totally.
- 1:07:03He would sit at a table and his table lead wouldn't even blink.
- 1:07:07He'd be like, you're the fourth guy I met like this this week.
- 1:07:11We got guys coming in. They're still feral, they're
- 1:07:14coming in still drunk or hungover.
- 1:07:16They're riding Harleys, they're carrying guns, they got knives,
- 1:07:20they got baby Mama drama. They I mean, they just come with
- 1:07:22baggage and carry ONS. But that's why we call it real
- 1:07:25men, not religious men, just teaching worship, worship,
- 1:07:30teaching. Get around the table.
- 1:07:32And dudes are just getting honest and just be honest.
- 1:07:34Like, here's where I'm at. Great.
- 1:07:36OK, You're 7 feet underground. You've dug quite a hole.
- 1:07:40Thanks for being honest. At least we know where we're
- 1:07:42starting. It's the guy who comes in like,
- 1:07:45praise the Lord, I've had the best week.
- 1:07:46You're like, no, you're probably not being honest.
- 1:07:50Probably not being honest. But then we don't have women on
- 1:07:52campus and we don't have children on campus because these
- 1:07:55guys are a little feral. Yeah, that's good.
- 1:07:57So it's like just show up and and the guys that still smoke,
- 1:08:01their groups are outside. Totally big cigar parties out
- 1:08:04there. Smoke away if you want to smoke.
- 1:08:06We got a smoking section. I don't care.
- 1:08:08I want to reduce all the barriers for guys to not only
- 1:08:11meet Jesus, but to get in relationship and get disciple.
- 1:08:14Because what he said was I could communicate with the guys in a
- 1:08:19A. And the question is like, well,
- 1:08:22why aren't there guys in the church that are willing to be in
- 1:08:25the process like the guys in a A?
- 1:08:27Because it's an ugly, long, messy process. 2 steps forward,
- 1:08:32one to two steps back. It's going to be a while before
- 1:08:35this guy is, you know, on his feet and doing well.
- 1:08:39Yep. Yeah, I'm one of our biggest
- 1:08:41evangelist at the church. You love him party.
- 1:08:46He leads like 5 different AA groups and has brought more
- 1:08:49people to Jesus and the church than probably anyone else.
- 1:08:52He's an evangelist. He would totally take Shia.
- 1:08:55And he would have showed up at 2:00 in the morning and.
- 1:08:57Yeah. So actually we've got a couple
- 1:09:00of guys that would be great mentors and disciples and, and
- 1:09:04entire tables of guys like this that are in it together.
- 1:09:07And so I see this, the language doesn't offend me, the honesty
- 1:09:11doesn't offend me, the attitude doesn't offend me.
- 1:09:13What does offend me is there's probably not a church that would
- 1:09:16welcome him and help. But the the the Democrat we just
- 1:09:20talked about James, plenty of churches would let him preach in
- 1:09:23the pulpit, and he has a Mdiv. And.
- 1:09:27What? What?
- 1:09:27So what that James dude, What is he?
- 1:09:29James Talarico? Yeah, Talarico.
- 1:09:32So what that guy is saying is infinitely more disgusting,
- 1:09:37reprehensible, offensive and godless then what Shia said.
- 1:09:44A. 100% James would never weep at at the thought of seeing
- 1:09:49Jesus shy. If you saw Jesus, what would you
- 1:09:53do? He just immediately started
- 1:09:55weeping. You can't fake that.
- 1:09:56No, that that's a guy. That's that's real and in it.
- 1:10:00I'd be terrified if I was James Talarico and I saw Jesus.
- 1:10:04That's that's judgement Day. And like a fire day.
- 1:10:08Yeah, like it is. There's no reverence in one of
- 1:10:12those men. No.
- 1:10:14And I'm sure, yeah, I'm sure that standing before the
- 1:10:19judgement seat of Christ, that Shia, according to what I can
- 1:10:24see, is going to get welcomed into the Kingdom and the guy
- 1:10:30with the M Div is going to get cuts in the line to hell.
- 1:10:32For sure, 100% hundred. Percent.
- 1:10:34So I tell Shia, like, if you're ever in Arizona, I'd love to
- 1:10:37meet you. I will meet with you.
- 1:10:39I, I would do it anonymously and privately.
- 1:10:42I do this a lot. I meet with guys and I care and
- 1:10:47I try to be of help and be available going forward.
- 1:10:49And if you ever want to, if you're ever in Arizona Tuesday
- 1:10:52night, real men, we've got a massive army of dudes you would
- 1:10:56100% fit right in. And I can guarantee you a group
- 1:11:01of guys that have been where you're at and would walk with
- 1:11:06you through a process to get to the other side. 100% and if
- 1:11:10you're a guy that feels like shy, text men to 99383, that's
- 1:11:14men to 99383 and we will send you a link to join us for real
- 1:11:18men this week. We'd love to have you.
- 1:11:21It is not a place for religious dudes.
- 1:11:23It's a place for guys like shy that are open and honest and
- 1:11:26want to get better and do better that are in the process of
- 1:11:29sanctification. So thank you guys for tuning in
- 1:11:31to the Mark Driscoll show today. We appreciate you.
- 1:11:33We love you and drop a comment and tell us your feedback on the
- 1:11:38show. Hopefully just positive, but you
- 1:11:40never know with you. One in five star reviews, 30
- 1:11:43years running. We'll see you guys next week.
