- 0:07Speaker 1: I'm a loser, Gabie.
- 0:12Speaker 2: That's pretty good ad not in the way that you
- 0:14Speaker 2: probably think.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm not just a loser, but I just always lose.
- 0:19Speaker 1: You're a loser of items? Yes, I always lose this
- 0:22Speaker 1: one thing. Is there something that you always lose and
- 0:25Speaker 1: so you just have to keep buying more?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:28Speaker 3: The worst part is I'll lose them and then find
- 0:30Speaker 3: them a little bit down the road. And so now
- 0:33Speaker 3: I just have a bunch of sunglasses at my.
- 0:35Speaker 1: House, okay, the sunglasses to.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Think I've lost sunglasses, and then it's like, oh, I'll
- 0:41Speaker 3: just buy another pair of quick at the gas station
- 0:43Speaker 3: or whatever I really should invest in, like a solid
- 0:46Speaker 3: pair of sunglasses, and then just try to keep track
- 0:48Speaker 3: of them.
- 0:48Speaker 1: No, it'll never work. So well, that's the thing.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I have a lipliner that I always wear. If you've
- 0:54Speaker 2: seen me out in the world, you've seen me wearing
- 0:57Speaker 2: this lipliner that I use for all over lip color.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Because my natural lips blend into my face. You can't tell,
- 1:04Speaker 2: really that I have lips unless I have the Nick's
- 1:07Speaker 2: spl eight thirty one MOV lipliner. And it's only five
- 1:10Speaker 2: ninety nine and it's a lifesaver. Because then I look
- 1:13Speaker 2: like a human woman. But I always lose it. Always.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It doesn't matter, like I will in my head be like, Okay,
- 1:20Speaker 2: I put this in this pouch and this is where
- 1:24Speaker 2: it is, and then I forget and I lose it. Yesterday,
- 1:27Speaker 2: all of a sudden, I found five of them. Sure
- 1:31Speaker 2: at the same time, they just spilled out of a
- 1:33Speaker 2: zipper pouch in my wallet that I don't remember putting
- 1:37Speaker 2: that in. And that's not There were five of them,
- 1:40Speaker 2: but I know that there are more, like floating around
- 1:42Speaker 2: somewhere else. But I always have to buy more because
- 1:45Speaker 2: in the moment I lose them and I will literally
- 1:48Speaker 2: be driving to somewhere, like if we have an event
- 1:51Speaker 2: we have to go to.
- 1:52Speaker 1: In fact, was that Kia Fargo. On Saturday.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I stopped at Target first to buy another lipliner because
- 2:00Speaker 2: I needed to line my lips, and then I went
- 2:02Speaker 2: to Kia Fargo. Like it's wild, I asked on the
- 2:05Speaker 2: Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page, because I can't
- 2:07Speaker 2: be the only one who loses things and then keeps
- 2:10Speaker 2: buying them and then they all show up, Melissa said,
- 2:13Speaker 2: or Mindy said her reading glasses. Yeah, so she's just
- 2:17Speaker 2: got a stockpile of reading glasses.
- 2:20Speaker 3: And what's strange, It's like, where do you bring your
- 2:22Speaker 3: reading glasses, like your home, work.
- 2:25Speaker 1: A restaurant?
- 2:26Speaker 3: Maybe, So, I just we humans are creatures of habits,
- 2:30Speaker 3: So if you are losing something, there's a good chance
- 2:34Speaker 3: it's sort of kind of in the same spot all
- 2:36Speaker 3: the time.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but then for some reason it's not.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I'm telling you there's like little creatures at work. The
- 2:42Speaker 2: high things, Holly said, lip glass and earbuds.
- 2:46Speaker 1: That is an expensive one, the earbuds. Earbuds will rack
- 2:50Speaker 1: up some monies. Yeah, this was my favorite though.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Melissa An said, my chapstick and my sunglasses are they.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Running off together?
- 2:58Speaker 3: One hundred person. Yeah, you know chapstick. I've lose it
- 3:01Speaker 3: all the time too. I don't buy it a ton,
- 3:03Speaker 3: but I've never seen a chat seven oh one two
- 3:06Speaker 3: eight zero one nine eight seven. Have you ever seen
- 3:09Speaker 3: your chapstick or lip gloss get to the bottom and
- 3:11Speaker 3: you were like, Hey, I'm buying a new one because
- 3:13Speaker 3: I'm out.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Oh wow, you are a unicorn. If you haven't, we
- 3:17Speaker 2: need to hear from you.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Do you have a little victory today? Angel?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Let me tell you, Gabe, the little victory is that
- 3:29Speaker 2: the men in my life have returned to me. So
- 3:33Speaker 2: on Friday, you left because you were a groomsman in
- 3:37Speaker 2: a wedding, that's right. But also my boyfriend Mikey left
- 3:40Speaker 2: because he couldn't handle my nonsense anymore. No, he left
- 3:43Speaker 2: to go visit his daughter in Connecticut. And so the
- 3:47Speaker 2: two most important men in my life were gone, and
- 3:50Speaker 2: I thought, well, by Monday, I will have them back.
- 3:54Speaker 2: But no, I got the date wrong on when Mikey
- 3:57Speaker 2: was returning, so he didn't get home until like late late,
- 4:01Speaker 2: like past midnight last night.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So I did have today.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yes, so I didn't have him and then you, And
- 4:08Speaker 2: this is a bummer, So I apologize that I'm so selfish,
- 4:11Speaker 2: But you weren't in yesterday because your dog was sick,
- 4:15Speaker 2: and so I didn't have my two men in my
- 4:18Speaker 2: life again.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And so now I woke up.
- 4:22Speaker 2: This morning my adorable boyfriend by my side in bed,
- 4:27Speaker 2: and then I walked into the studio and here you are.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Right, So I'm very happy to have the men in
- 4:34Speaker 2: my life.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Back with me. All is back with the world. Yes,
- 4:38Speaker 1: it's great. What about you. Do you have a little victory?
- 4:40Speaker 3: Well, obviously I was at as you just said. I
- 4:43Speaker 3: was at a wedding this weekend and it was so
- 4:45Speaker 3: much fun. It was a great time, you know. Yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 3: you get to see people who, frankly, you should do
- 4:51Speaker 3: a better job of being like, hey, let's not make
- 4:53Speaker 3: it a wedding for the reason. I see you next, right,
- 4:55Speaker 3: And it was just a lot of fun. And I
- 4:58Speaker 3: was just so happy for Ian and Chelse, the newlyweds
- 5:01Speaker 3: in my life. And it was great to be a
- 5:03Speaker 3: part of. Corey helped it's on with the bridesmaids things,
- 5:09Speaker 3: know what that means. Yeah, yeah, And it was really
- 5:13Speaker 3: really cool to just be a part of. And it
- 5:15Speaker 3: was a lot of fun. And we had this awesome
- 5:17Speaker 3: drive across the state basically, uh, to go to this
- 5:21Speaker 3: wedding and you know, the leaves are kind of starting
- 5:24Speaker 3: to change.
- 5:25Speaker 1: We probably had the coolest drive.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Over because a lot of people coming from Minneapolis had
- 5:30Speaker 3: to drive north. I basically just had to drive east.
- 5:34Speaker 3: And we had a great time. So it was a
- 5:36Speaker 3: lot of fun. Glad to be back with you on
- 5:37Speaker 3: this Tuesday. Get back to a little bit of a
- 5:40Speaker 3: normal sea around here on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 5:49Speaker 3: This is sorry, not sorry, We say the thing you're thinking,
- 5:53Speaker 3: but are too polite to say. We die on the
- 5:55Speaker 3: hill of controversial opinion, so you don't have to. What
- 6:00Speaker 3: do you gotta get off your chest today?
- 6:02Speaker 1: Picture this.
- 6:03Speaker 2: You're unhinged in West Fargo. You're sipping on an ice
- 6:07Speaker 2: cold beer. You're sharing a cheese pizza with a group
- 6:11Speaker 2: of your friends, and someone makes a joke that reminds
- 6:15Speaker 2: you of a YouTube video that.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Cracks you up. I mean, it's just so funny.
- 6:21Speaker 2: So you ask if they've seen the YouTube video and
- 6:24Speaker 2: they say no, and then you say, let me show you,
- 6:28Speaker 2: and you pull out your phone.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Stop wrong, No, absolutely not.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Do not try and show one person a YouTube video
- 6:40Speaker 2: during a group hanging at a bar. The music is playing,
- 6:44Speaker 2: there's sports on TV. No, that is the wrong time,
- 6:48Speaker 2: wrong place.
- 6:49Speaker 1: How dare you?
- 6:51Speaker 2: You have just made the conversation that was flowing it
- 6:55Speaker 2: has now come to a screeching halt because you pulled
- 6:58Speaker 2: out your phone and thought, wait, let me just hang on,
- 7:01Speaker 2: let me wait, let me search it up, hang on. No, okay, wait, no,
- 7:06Speaker 2: put it by your ear because you have to hear no.
- 7:09Speaker 1: No, I'm so mad. Do not do you know what
- 7:11Speaker 1: you can do? Say?
- 7:13Speaker 2: Oh, there's this really funny video. I'll send it to you,
- 7:15Speaker 2: and then you send them the YouTube video on whatever
- 7:19Speaker 2: platform you want to do it. You copy the link,
- 7:21Speaker 2: you send it in a text, and then you guys
- 7:24Speaker 2: can talk about it at a different time, but not
- 7:27Speaker 2: in a public place, not when you're all trying to
- 7:29Speaker 2: have a good time, not when we're all hanging out.
- 7:31Speaker 2: And then wait, record, scratch, hold the presses. I have
- 7:36Speaker 2: to show you this YouTube video and guess what. It's
- 7:39Speaker 2: probably not as funny as you thought it was. Yeah,
- 7:41Speaker 2: probably doesn't hit the exact sts, It doesn't hit the
- 7:44Speaker 2: exact same It is a social faux pa that has
- 7:47Speaker 2: been going on for centuries, or at least since we
- 7:51Speaker 2: had smartphones.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And YouTube existed, and it needs to stop. Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 3: So there are two ways to really get under Angie's
- 7:59Speaker 3: skin if you're in some social gathering. One, bust out
- 8:01Speaker 3: your phone and try to share a YouTube video hate it.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Or bring your acoustic guitar.
- 8:14Speaker 1: In a winter wonder.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Line, I accidentally found out that we're going to have
- 8:19Speaker 2: the worst winter of all time here in Fargo.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Gave yes wow.
- 8:24Speaker 2: And it all started with a little ittybit catterpillar.
- 8:29Speaker 1: So I was at Kia Fargo.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Over the weekend they were having their grand reopening of
- 8:33Speaker 2: their showroom and in the parking lot there was a caterpillar.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And one of our sales people, Elsie, was with me,
- 8:44Speaker 2: and she went and she grabbed the caterpillar because she
- 8:46Speaker 2: was gonna go put him back in a tree because
- 8:48Speaker 2: she's a good Samaritan. But before she could put him
- 8:51Speaker 2: in the tree, I took a picture of the little
- 8:53Speaker 2: guy and I posted him on the Big ninety eight
- 8:55Speaker 2: point seven Facebook page because I thought we should try
- 8:58Speaker 2: to give him a name, and he If you go
- 9:01Speaker 2: on the Big Baby Points on Facebook page, it's there
- 9:03Speaker 2: of a fat, little furry caterpillar.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I saw this over the weekend. Yes, and we got
- 9:07Speaker 1: some good names.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Milton grout Show because he kind of looked like a mustache, fuzzy, Spike, slinky.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I love it, But I like Fred. I like Fred
- 9:17Speaker 1: A great name.
- 9:17Speaker 2: For add that to the name list. But here we go.
- 9:21Speaker 2: There are two comments that had nothing to do with names.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Good Old Pat Donahugh said, I believe that that caterpillar
- 9:29Speaker 2: indicates what kind of winter you're going to have. And
- 9:32Speaker 2: Tammy said, Oh, we have a heck of a winter coming.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And what is that yeah. I mean, I've never heard
- 9:39Speaker 1: of this either.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Originally I was sitting here going, oh, is this some
- 9:41Speaker 3: Midwest thing I should know, being from Minnesota?
- 9:44Speaker 1: And so you've never heard this either, never heard of
- 9:47Speaker 1: this ago. So I took to the.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Streets, and by the streets, I mean the sales stuff,
- 9:53Speaker 2: and I asked each of them, Hey, I'd printed out
- 9:56Speaker 2: the picture of this caterpillar. And I asked each of them, Hey,
- 10:00Speaker 2: does this caterpillar have any weather implications in your mind?
- 10:05Speaker 2: And every single person said no, And so we thought,
- 10:08Speaker 2: where did this even come from? So Elsie did a
- 10:12Speaker 2: little bit of googling, which I guess I could have done,
- 10:14Speaker 2: but that sounds hard, and she came back with this.
- 10:19Speaker 2: According to the Farmer's Almanac, the wooly bear caterpillar tells
- 10:23Speaker 2: if it is a bad winter, if there are a
- 10:26Speaker 2: lot of them crawling around, or if it has a
- 10:28Speaker 2: heavy coat, then that means that you're gonna have like
- 10:32Speaker 2: a bitter cold. If the caterpillar is fat and fuzzy,
- 10:36Speaker 2: that means it's gonna be like a really harsh winter.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Wow, I'm also fat.
- 10:41Speaker 2: And fuzzy, so I guess it is going to be
- 10:43Speaker 2: a bad winter.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I made a bet with Gabe.
- 10:54Speaker 2: On Friday that he didn't even know about. But I
- 10:59Speaker 2: posted a video to Big ninety eight point seven that
- 11:02Speaker 2: basically was a test to see if Gabe actually checks
- 11:07Speaker 2: the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page when he has.
- 11:09Speaker 1: The day off. Yeah, and here was a little clip
- 11:11Speaker 1: from that video that I.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Will buy him lunch on Monday. He has to reply
- 11:18Speaker 2: by Sunday night at seven. Let's say, so, if Gabe
- 11:26Speaker 2: is watching this, Gabe, I just need you to drop
- 11:30Speaker 2: in the comments the word.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And the word ended up being goat in all caps.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So it was on Friday I posted this video and
- 11:41Speaker 2: he had until seven pm on Sunday night to drop
- 11:45Speaker 2: the word goat in all caps in the comment section,
- 11:48Speaker 2: and then I would buy him lunch. By Saturday around
- 11:53Speaker 2: noon when I checked, he had still not commented. But
- 11:58Speaker 2: then I got the notification later on Saturday, I think it.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Was around like two three o'clock somewhere in there.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Yep, and you said goat, and you even put the
- 12:09Speaker 2: emoji for a goat, and your your request was soup,
- 12:14Speaker 2: because you are who you are, Gabe, that's right. And
- 12:17Speaker 2: so sure enough I rolled in here today with some
- 12:21Speaker 2: soup for you, Gabe, and I'm a woman of my word.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I greatly appreciate it. What a what a nice sweet gesture.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Now I will say there I did have some help
- 12:32Speaker 3: on this. And no, it was not from anyone here
- 12:36Speaker 3: inside the Big ninety eight point SI studio or building.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It was no coworker.
- 12:41Speaker 3: I was at this wedding day of wedding all right,
- 12:44Speaker 3: people are walking down the aisles and stuff. At four
- 12:48Speaker 3: and around two inch I get a call from my dad.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Greg called me and he goes, oh, hey, by the way,
- 12:57Speaker 3: you have a chance to win some lunch if you
- 12:59Speaker 3: go to the Big ninety two point seven Facebook page.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yeah, and now he.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Didn't tell me what I had to do or what
- 13:04Speaker 3: video it was, so it did take me a second
- 13:06Speaker 3: to kind of cycle through what I had to do
- 13:09Speaker 3: and then watch the full video.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Wow.
- 13:12Speaker 3: And so Greg Glidden is who you can blame for
- 13:16Speaker 3: because there is zero chance I was looking.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Greg Glinden, how dare you be on the side of
- 13:23Speaker 2: your son who you raised and not some stranger you've
- 13:26Speaker 2: never met.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Well, thank you for the lunch. I greatly appreciate it.
- 13:30Speaker 3: What did you bring in, Angie? I know it's super what.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Kind uh Creamy Chicken and dumble Blaze the absolute best.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I want a w.
- 13:42Speaker 3: At the twenty twenty five Emmy Awards on Sunday Night,
- 13:46Speaker 3: host Nate Berghatsy he introduced a fun challenge to try
- 13:50Speaker 3: to keep the acceptance speeches short. He said they would
- 13:54Speaker 3: deduct one thousand dollars from a one hundred thousand donation
- 13:59Speaker 3: to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America for every
- 14:03Speaker 3: second that acceptance speeches went over forty five seconds, and
- 14:08Speaker 3: he'd up the donation for short speeches.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Oh I like that.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Throughout the evening, the donation challenge became a running joke
- 14:16Speaker 3: among winners, some stars saying they would make up the
- 14:21Speaker 3: difference if they went over time.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Oh nice, which honestly is nice.
- 14:24Speaker 3: But it is hilarious to me that these some of
- 14:28Speaker 3: these individuals are so full of the fact that they
- 14:32Speaker 3: need to use all this time to blah blah blah,
- 14:35Speaker 3: that a donation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of
- 14:38Speaker 3: America can't get them to tighten their speeches up under
- 14:42Speaker 3: forty five seconds.
- 14:43Speaker 1: That is crazy to me. That's hilarious.
- 14:46Speaker 3: But there are obviously some other people who had a
- 14:49Speaker 3: lot of fun with it, and they were you know,
- 14:51Speaker 3: making fun of Nate throughout the night to keep their
- 14:54Speaker 3: their speeches nice and short for him, despite all of
- 14:58Speaker 3: the setbacks of people who just chose to go over,
- 15:01Speaker 3: which is hilarious to me. Nate did close the show
- 15:05Speaker 3: with a really cool announcement saying CBS would be contributing
- 15:08Speaker 3: one hundred thousand and that he himself would contribute two
- 15:12Speaker 3: hundred and fifty thousand, bringing the total donation to three
- 15:16Speaker 3: hundred and fifty thousand for the Boys and Girls Clubs
- 15:18Speaker 3: of America. Of course, the audience loved that, and everybody
- 15:22Speaker 3: you know, clapped and thanked him, and he thanked the
- 15:25Speaker 3: attendees and congratulated the winners.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I think the most surprising thing to me is that
- 15:29Speaker 2: Nate Bargatsi has three two hundred fifty thousand dollars like that.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Yeah, he does so many shows and he sells out
- 15:37Speaker 3: theaters and stuff.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Kind of rich rich. Yeah, he's got it like that.
- 15:40Speaker 1: You donate, my guy, you donate.
- 15:43Speaker 3: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 15:45Speaker 3: find one, you gotta be one way to go.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Nate today,
