Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's Daily wager for
• 0:20
May 25th, 2026 and somber Memorial Day to everyone out
• 0:27
there today as we remember, memorialize if you will, those
• 0:32
who have fought for the US, really everybody who has fought
• 0:36
for democracy and individual rights and equality across the
• 0:41
world. Those who don't believe that
• 0:43
authoritarianism or divine right is the way to go.
• 0:47
That it's each individual as them, as a person, collectively,
• 0:53
that is what makes us great. We remember those people that
• 0:56
gave the ultimate sacrifice to push that idea forward.
• 1:00
So to those and their families, we say thank you.
• 1:03
So last night, I can't really say thank you to the Oklahoma
• 1:08
City Thunder. I think they got there.
• 1:11
That was the worst loss of their season by getting the brakes
• 1:14
beat off of them. It also allowed Wemby to sit on
• 1:18
the bench for pretty much at least the second-half of that
• 1:21
fourth quarter, which resulted in him not getting a double
• 1:23
double, which cost me another wager that I had.
• 1:27
So not only did I lose the main wager, I also lost my little
• 1:31
prop bet on the side only because the Thunder got blown
• 1:35
out so bad that Wemby didn't have to play.
• 1:37
So take that L. We'll regroup, see what's going
• 1:41
to happen. But you know, I guess this kind
• 1:43
of makes sense. Figured that was going to end up
• 1:45
at 7 anyways. So tonight, though, we're back
• 1:48
out east. We're back to just wrap this one
• 1:51
  up. This is a formality.
• 1:52
This is essentially the end of the road here.
• 1:55
Cleveland don't want to go back to New York for no reason.
• 1:58
So they're just going to, you know, do what they do.
• 2:01
Hardens ready to go find some more strip clubs, get himself
• 2:04
some lemon pepper wings and begin his offseason.
• 2:08
So he's, it's definitely going to be Game 7, Harden tonight in
• 2:12
a game four and Knicks are going to go in there.
• 2:15
They're ready. They can feel it.
• 2:17
They're going to put it down. They're going to finish them
• 2:19
off. And that's just the way it is.
• 2:21
  Definitely double digit win tonight.
• 2:22
I don't, I just don't think Cleveland has it in them to
• 2:25
fight. So we'll give up the points even
• 2:28
though they're on the road and I, I feel fine about that.
• 2:30
So we're taking New York Knicks -2 1/2 against the Cleveland
• 2:35
Cavaliers in tonight's NBA Eastern Conference Finals
• 2:40
basketball action. So anything better than that?
• 2:42
Pound it. That's my pick, and I'm sticking
• 2:44
to it. All right, finish your mouth,
• 2:45
