- 0:00Speaker 1: Amen. This is the final session for the apostle Joshua
- 0:04Speaker 1: Selman and.
- 0:05Speaker 2: I wanted to open your heart to receive.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Can we appreciate the apostle as you come up to
- 0:10Speaker 1: minister in the final section? Amen. Thank you.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Glory to the name of the Lord. And we thank
- 0:39Speaker 1: the Lord for his grace. Thank the Lord for his faithfulness.
- 0:44Speaker 1: This is our final session together. Let's lift our hands
- 0:47Speaker 1: to heaven and ask the Lord to visit us again.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Is someone thanking the God of heaven? Speak to my heart.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Give me an encounter. Let grace be deposited upon my
- 1:12Speaker 1: spirit man for a life of exploits. The Bible says
- 1:18Speaker 1: for everyone that asketh, receive it. Someone is asking by
- 1:23Speaker 1: faith and asking in faith. For in Jesus mighty name
- 1:34Speaker 1: we pray. Hallelujah. I want to really say thank you
- 1:39Speaker 1: again to the man of God, Dr. Emos Fenwa. Thank you, sir.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Thank you. There are not many, I must confess, and
- 1:51Speaker 1: I'll tell you this, there are not many people within
- 1:55Speaker 1: his age range of ministry that have the flexibility and
- 1:58Speaker 1: the fluidity to maintain their core call and yet be
- 2:03Speaker 1: flexible to embrace God. other dimensions, particularly, I think it's
- 2:10Speaker 1: something that is worthy of commendation. Hallelujah. Yes.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 2:20Speaker 1: The privilege of relationship that I have with him, I've
- 2:23Speaker 1: been touched and humbled by his, for want of word,
- 2:29Speaker 1: his childlike passion for knowledge, for truth and improvement. If
- 2:34Speaker 1: it means him learning from a child, he will learn
- 2:37Speaker 1: from a child regardless the age difference. That is profound humility,
- 2:43Speaker 1: profound wisdom, profound leadership.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
- 2:48Speaker 1: And we sincerely honor you for this in the name
- 2:51Speaker 1: of Jesus Christ. I just felt scared to also do this.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I want to say thank you particularly to all the walkers,
- 3:02Speaker 1: Who stand by the man of God in this church.
- 3:06Speaker 1: And lift up his hands. You see. I'm a leader myself.
- 3:11Speaker 1: And I know that. Your vision is as potent. As
- 3:15Speaker 1: the people that stand with you. And stand by you.
- 3:18Speaker 1: While I sat down watching the. The worship team. I
- 3:22Speaker 1: could see the sincerity of their zeal. It was not mechanical.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It was with passion. It was in truth. And. I'm
- 3:32Speaker 1: taking time to say these things because I'm hoping that
- 3:35Speaker 1: some leader will learn. You are as powerful as the
- 3:39Speaker 1: people that stand with you.
- 3:43Speaker 2: The Lord gave the word.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Great was the company of them that published it. The
- 3:50Speaker 1: Bible says in the multitude of men is a king's honor.
- 3:54Speaker 1: When God raises people to stand with you, do not
- 3:57Speaker 1: become too proud to acknowledge their contributions. And you do
- 4:02Speaker 1: it once, you do it again. The human spirit functions
- 4:06Speaker 1: by motivation. When people know that their contributions are being
- 4:10Speaker 1: recognized and rewarded, then clear the stage and see them
- 4:15Speaker 1: give their best and give their all. One more time,
- 4:18Speaker 1: let's give it up to all the workers in this
- 4:21Speaker 1: global ministry. Amen. Are you ready? So we'll be spending
- 4:30Speaker 1: a few minutes as I charge us on this final session.
- 4:33Speaker 1: And let me pray that and ask that you open
- 4:36Speaker 1: up your heart. Every moment in God's presence is a
- 4:40Speaker 1: moment of encounter.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Please be seated. God bless you. I'm teaching very briefly
- 4:46Speaker 1: on the prayer of faith. The prayer of faith. Let
- 4:52Speaker 1: me encourage you to make reference to all the teachings
- 4:55Speaker 1: for this conference. but particularly the sessions that we've had together,
- 5:00Speaker 1: the minister's conference, if you can have access to the teaching,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and then yesterday night's teaching, just a quick recap. I
- 5:08Speaker 1: taught us yesterday that there are two components to building
- 5:13Speaker 1: and manifesting Bible faith. Number one, the Bible says, take
- 5:17Speaker 1: heed what you hear. Hallelujah. Please allow me to honor
- 5:22Speaker 1: a great man of God and a great friend in ministry,
- 5:26Speaker 1: Reverend Ike Wenzel, thank you so much. Such an honor
- 5:28Speaker 1: to see you. Thank you. Hallelujah. And so the Bible
- 5:34Speaker 1: talks about taking heed what you hear. Remember the teaching yesterday?
- 5:39Speaker 1: And I said that your faith is built based on
- 5:42Speaker 1: the correctness of the spiritual information you have access to.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Not the spirituality of the information. And information can be
- 5:51Speaker 1: spiritual and yet wrong. The potency of faith is built
- 5:56Speaker 1: upon the rightness and the correctness of the information. Hallelujah.
- 6:02Speaker 1: The Bible says that you be careful lest what you
- 6:06Speaker 1: call light be darkness. So it's possible to hold on
- 6:09Speaker 1: to what you call a body of truth, a body
- 6:11Speaker 1: of knowledge, but it is not true light. I like
- 6:14Speaker 1: how the Bible puts it. It says, that was the
- 6:17Speaker 1: true light that lighted every man. That means there are
- 6:21Speaker 1: other kinds of lights, including false lights. And you know
- 6:25Speaker 1: they are false because the potency that should come with
- 6:28Speaker 1: light is not administered in the presence of real life situations.
- 6:32Speaker 1: So the Bible tells us to be mindful of the
- 6:37Speaker 1: accuracy of the information that builds our conviction.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 6:43Speaker 1: There is a construct of spiritual knowledge that empowers the
- 6:47Speaker 1: believer to walk by faith. Not every spiritual information sustains
- 6:52Speaker 1: the ability to.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Plant faith in your spirit.
- 6:55Speaker 1: There is an exact body of light that builds the believer.
- 6:59Speaker 1: The second component we looked at yesterday, the Bible says
- 7:03Speaker 1: be careful how you hear. So not just what you hear,
- 7:08Speaker 1: but the correctness of the information, but how you hear,
- 7:13Speaker 1: your attitude and your response. Paul was speaking to the
- 7:17Speaker 1: Hebrew church and he says, there remained a rest for
- 7:20Speaker 1: the people of God. He says, for the gospel was
- 7:23Speaker 1: preached unto us like it was to them, but the
- 7:26Speaker 1: word preached did not profit them. Not being mixed with
- 7:31Speaker 1: faith in them that heard it. There is always a response.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Jesus said, was looking at the disciples at the sea
- 7:42Speaker 1: while he walked on water. And Peter said, if it
- 7:45Speaker 1: be thou, bid me come. And he never said, Peter, come.
- 7:49Speaker 1: He just said, come. That means whoever responded was the
- 7:53Speaker 1: one who will receive the miracle. In this case, only
- 7:56Speaker 1: Peter took the step. So only Peter had the opportunity
- 7:59Speaker 1: to experience what walking on water was. Hallelujah. So most
- 8:04Speaker 1: people do not respond to the word of God directly.
- 8:07Speaker 1: They hear, they're excited, but they do not respond. The
- 8:12Speaker 1: miracle happens at the point of response, not at the
- 8:16Speaker 1: point of hearing. Listen, faith is built at the point
- 8:20Speaker 1: of hearing, but the miracle happens at the point of obedience.
- 8:25Speaker 1: One more time, faith is built at the point of hearing,
- 8:29Speaker 1: but the miracle happens at the point of your response.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Jesus told the ten lepers. He says be on your
- 8:37Speaker 1: way and go and show yourself to the priest. If
- 8:39Speaker 1: you believe. The Bible says as they went. Not before
- 8:43Speaker 1: they went. Not while they were thinking. Not while they
- 8:46Speaker 1: said yes sir. As they went. They discovered that a
- 8:49Speaker 1: miracle began to happen. John chapter 2.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Same experience.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Get six pots together the wedding in Cana of Galilee.
- 8:56Speaker 1: And the Bible says as they went. The water began
- 8:59Speaker 1: to turn to wine. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The miracle happens at
- 9:04Speaker 1: the point of your obedience. So Bible faith demands that
- 9:08Speaker 1: number one, you hear correctly. Number two, that you respond accurately.
- 9:15Speaker 1: And like I illustrated yesterday, the proof of hearing is
- 9:19Speaker 1: accurate response. If I ask you to come and you sit,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I assume you did not hear me. Are we together now?
- 9:26Speaker 1: The accuracy of your response is proof that you heard well.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Prayer is connected to manifesting Bible faith. Mark chapter 11,
- 9:36Speaker 1: 23 and 24. Mark chapter 11. So the story behind
- 9:40Speaker 1: this scripture is that Jesus came hungry and he saw
- 9:44Speaker 1: a fig tree. The fig tree was very alluring and
- 9:47Speaker 1: when he came to the fig tree, he found out
- 9:49Speaker 1: it was full of leaves but no fruit. And sad
- 9:54Speaker 1: about the situation, he cost it for taking from the
- 9:56Speaker 1: earth and not producing fruit, very strangely.
- 9:59Speaker 2: And by the next day.
- 10:00Speaker 1: When they came They found out it had withered The
- 10:03Speaker 1: disciples were surprised and said Wow you said this and
- 10:05Speaker 1: this happened Then Jesus said I say unto you Whoever
- 10:09Speaker 1: says to this mountain I'm reading from New King James
- 10:12Speaker 1: Be removed and cast into the sea And does not
- 10:16Speaker 1: doubt in his heart But believes that those things he
- 10:19Speaker 1: says will be done. He says he will have whatsoever.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I'm used to KJV. My apologies. If you see me
- 10:28Speaker 1: looking but reading from my mind. I'm already used to KJV.
- 10:32Speaker 1: King James language. Hallelujah. Then verse 24 says. Therefore I
- 10:38Speaker 1: say unto you. King James says. What things so ever
- 10:43Speaker 1: ye desire. When ye pray. Can we have KJV? What
- 10:51Speaker 1: things so ever ye desire. He says, when ye pray.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Please look up. So the Bible talks about your desire,
- 10:59Speaker 1: your expectation. Connects it to prayer. Then it says, believe
- 11:04Speaker 1: that thou receivest them. And it says, thou shalt have them.
- 11:09Speaker 1: One more time. What things so ever ye desire. When
- 11:14Speaker 1: you pray, so your desire connects to prayer, connects to believing,
- 11:20Speaker 1: connects to receiving, connects to having. This is how the
- 11:23Speaker 1: Bible teaches. Desire, prayer, believing, receiving, having. You can never
- 11:31Speaker 1: have what you have not received. You only have what
- 11:34Speaker 1: you have received because receiving is a spiritual reality. Having
- 11:38Speaker 1: is when that reality that you have received is now
- 11:42Speaker 1: made manifest. What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe.
- 11:49Speaker 1: That means if you want to be a person of faith,
- 11:52Speaker 1: exploits by faith, you cannot divorce your exploits of faith
- 11:56Speaker 1: and by faith to the ministry of prayer. Please walk
- 12:01Speaker 1: with me and let's go to the book of James.
- 12:03Speaker 1: James chapter 5. Very profound scripture. A nice discourse on
- 12:08Speaker 1: prayer was done right from chapter 13 and it stretches
- 12:13Speaker 1: down to about 18, 19. But for the sake of time,
- 12:16Speaker 1: we'll just pick a few scriptures very quickly. So the
- 12:20Speaker 1: Bible says in verse 13, Is any among you afflicted?
- 12:26Speaker 2: It says, let him pray.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. 14. It says,
- 12:33Speaker 1: is any sick among you? Let me your attention now.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Let him call for the elders of the church. And
- 12:42Speaker 1: let them pray over him. So he's saying that there
- 12:46Speaker 1: is a kind of prayer that can be said over
- 12:49Speaker 1: the afflicted, even the sick. anointing him with oil in
- 12:53Speaker 1: the name of the Lord. Let's shout verse 15 together
- 12:55Speaker 1: if you're a Christian. Ready? One, two, read. And the
- 12:58Speaker 1: prayer of faith. Hold on please. Hold on please. Hold
- 13:03Speaker 1: on please. The fact that he specified the kind of
- 13:06Speaker 1: prayer meant not every kind of prayer produces the effect desired.
- 13:12Speaker 1: He said the prayer of faith shall save the sick.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And the Lord in honor to that prayer of faith
- 13:20Speaker 1: shall raise him up. I like this one. You don't
- 13:24Speaker 1: have to be sick to be raised up. Once you
- 13:26Speaker 1: are down, you need to be raised up. The prayer
- 13:29Speaker 1: of faith does not just heal the sick. It can
- 13:31Speaker 1: raise any man up. And if he had committed sins,
- 13:36Speaker 1: he said, they shall be forgiven him. Hallelujah. The prayer
- 13:42Speaker 1: of faith. The prayer of faith. So the Bible also
- 13:47Speaker 1: tells us in James chapter 4, let's look at it please.
- 13:51Speaker 1: There is something called praying amiss. Have you stumbled across
- 13:56Speaker 1: that in scripture? That an individual can pray, but he
- 14:00Speaker 1: will pray amiss. That was the challenge of Jesus' disciples.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I told you yesterday that there are many questions the
- 14:07Speaker 1: disciples asked Jesus, but two of them are outstanding. Number one,
- 14:12Speaker 1: teach us to pray. Number two, increase our faith. They
- 14:18Speaker 1: confronted Jesus head on with these questions. And the disciples
- 14:23Speaker 1: were frustrated. Their issue was not prayerlessness. Their issue was
- 14:28Speaker 1: inefficiency in prayer. They noticed that there was a way
- 14:32Speaker 1: Jesus prayed over sick people. There was a way he
- 14:35Speaker 1: prayed over situations and circumstances. There was a way he
- 14:40Speaker 1: prayed over the issues of concern at the time. And
- 14:43Speaker 1: they saw the results that followed immediately. And they attempted
- 14:48Speaker 1: to pray in like manner and nothing happened. So they
- 14:51Speaker 1: came with humility and said, please teach us to pray.
- 14:54Speaker 1: As John taught his disciples to pray. Then Jesus began
- 14:58Speaker 1: to do a discourse on prayer. James now is teaching
- 15:01Speaker 1: us that... A believer can be prayerful and yet your
- 15:07Speaker 1: prayer can be impotent.
- 15:09Speaker 2: And the reason why the prayer of the believer.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Becomes impotent is because the believer can be prayerful but
- 15:17Speaker 1: that there is a possibility that that believer can pray amiss.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Are we learning? From whence cometh wars and fighting among you?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Come they not hence even from your lusts that war
- 15:30Speaker 1: in your members? Verse 2. You know what James is
- 15:36Speaker 1: saying here? He's saying all the bitterness and jealousy, the
- 15:42Speaker 1: fighting and the quarreling are unnecessary.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Because the prayer platform is an equalizer.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It gives everybody an opportunity to have their desires met.
- 16:01Speaker 1: That means converting another person's reality or testimony and getting
- 16:05Speaker 1: angry about it is unnecessary. That there is a provision
- 16:09Speaker 1: in the spirit where anything you desire can become yours.
- 16:14Speaker 1: So he's saying you fight and you quarrel, you ask
- 16:17Speaker 1: and then you receive not. Did you ever read that
- 16:21Speaker 1: it's possible to ask and yet will not receive? He says,
- 16:24Speaker 1: because you ask amiss that you may consume it upon
- 16:30Speaker 1: your loss. Very quickly, what makes prayer a prayer that
- 16:37Speaker 1: is amiss? I just want to talk about that very quickly.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Number one, the first thing that makes prayer amiss is
- 16:45Speaker 1: praying without the backing of scripture. Praying without the backing
- 16:53Speaker 1: of scripture is praying amiss. Sociological emotional lamentation is not prayer.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Praying outside of the backing of scripture is praying amiss.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Are we together? Because like you were taught yesterday, Genesis
- 17:12Speaker 1: chapter 21 and verse 1. God does not do what
- 17:15Speaker 1: we want. He only does what he says. So when
- 17:20Speaker 1: you align what you want to what he says, it
- 17:23Speaker 1: will look like God is answering you. But God is
- 17:25Speaker 1: honoring himself. Are we together now? And the Lord visited
- 17:30Speaker 1: Sarah as he had said. And the Lord did unto
- 17:35Speaker 1: Sarah as he has spoken. If God has not spoken.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Are we together now? The modus operandi of the kingdom
- 17:43Speaker 1: does not allow that God does what he did not say.
- 17:48Speaker 1: So God's word precedes his action. Genesis chapter 1. The
- 17:53Speaker 1: Bible says in the beginning God created the heavens and
- 17:57Speaker 1: the earth. Now the earth was void, formless and darkness
- 18:01Speaker 1: hovered round the face of the deep. Then the Bible
- 18:04Speaker 1: says verse 3. An Elohim said... And God said, light be.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And the Bible says there was light. And he saw
- 18:17Speaker 1: that it was good. So that's always the protocol. God
- 18:20Speaker 1: says it and then he does it. God says it
- 18:24Speaker 1: and then it is made manifest. So praying amiss is
- 18:28Speaker 1: praying without scriptural backing. This is very profound. Most people
- 18:34Speaker 1: assume that just because they are talking to God and
- 18:38Speaker 1: they mean what they are saying, God is obliged to
- 18:41Speaker 1: answer them. That does not work that way. Hallelujah. There
- 18:45Speaker 1: are many, many people who prayed in the Bible and
- 18:48Speaker 1: their prayers were not answered. Once you do not back
- 18:51Speaker 1: your prayer with the word, you do not back your
- 18:54Speaker 1: prayer with scripture, you are praying amiss. Number two, what
- 18:57Speaker 1: makes prayer praying amiss? Any desire that violates the way
- 19:02Speaker 1: the kingdom operates will not be answered. Humorously, sometimes when
- 19:08Speaker 1: I teach on this, I talk about people praying that
- 19:12Speaker 1: God destroys um His enemies. Let God arise. And let
- 19:20Speaker 1: his enemies. Be scattered. Before you pray that prayer. Verify
- 19:26Speaker 1: who is God's enemy. Do you know who God's enemy is?
- 19:29Speaker 1: God's enemy is not the person you hate. God's enemy
- 19:33Speaker 1: is not the person you don't like. God's enemy is anybody.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Who makes himself. A consistent interruption. To God's program. Even
- 19:41Speaker 1: if that is you. So when you pray. And say
- 19:47Speaker 1: let God arise. And let all. his enemies it is
- 19:52Speaker 1: possible to be in that list you doubt me ask
- 20:01Speaker 1: jonah The fact that you fight the will of God,
- 20:07Speaker 1: even if it's for that moment, makes you his enemy.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Anything that is anti-Christ is God's enemy. Anything.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Not anyone.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Anything.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 20:19Speaker 1: So when you pray with a motif that is wrong,
- 20:22Speaker 1: that was the singular reason based on my study and
- 20:26Speaker 1: in my opinion, why the prayer of Hannah was not answered.
- 20:31Speaker 1: The goal was not having a child that fulfills the
- 20:33Speaker 1: purposes of God. The goal was a competition, trying to
- 20:38Speaker 1: have just like Penina, and it was not enough for
- 20:42Speaker 1: heaven to move on her behalf. So the issue was
- 20:45Speaker 1: not having a child. The issue was wanting to feel
- 20:48Speaker 1: like a woman just like Penina.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Because of the mockery. You would think God would be moved.
- 20:53Speaker 1: By her tears. And the years kept multiplying and it
- 20:56Speaker 1: looked like heaven was silent. One day she changed her motif, paraphrasing, Lord,
- 21:01Speaker 1: you are looking for a prophet. Let my womb produce one.
- 21:04Speaker 1: She prayed once, not twice, once, and the child came.
- 21:11Speaker 1: So when you come to God and say, Lord, I
- 21:13Speaker 1: want money. I want ministry. I want anointing. I want this.
- 21:18Speaker 2: There is one question heaven will echo back to you.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Why? If you cannot answer that question, why? You will
- 21:25Speaker 1: not get an answer from heaven. Because everything created by
- 21:29Speaker 1: God was designed to serve his purposes. Everything created by God,
- 21:35Speaker 1: everything that secures God's attention and support must serve his purposes.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 21:43Speaker 1: So praying amiss, number one, without scriptural backing. Number two,
- 21:47Speaker 1: with a corrupted motive. Corrupted motive. And then finally, number three.
- 21:55Speaker 1: What makes prayer amiss? Praying without faith. That means without
- 22:02Speaker 1: the willingness to obey God. There are many things God
- 22:07Speaker 1: mandates that we do to commit Him. But most believers
- 22:11Speaker 1: would prefer to go through the sacrifice, the burden of
- 22:14Speaker 1: shouting over heaven, than to take that action of faith.
- 22:18Speaker 1: For instance, there is no amount of prayer that will
- 22:22Speaker 1: substitute for obedience. There is no amount of prayer that
- 22:28Speaker 1: will substitute for obedience. If God gives you an instruction,
- 22:32Speaker 1: And say, bring a seed to your father in the Lord.
- 22:35Speaker 1: And you say, Lord, rather than giving him the seed,
- 22:38Speaker 1: let me fast for two days. You will fast and
- 22:41Speaker 1: it's just your spiritual life that will improve. But that
- 22:43Speaker 1: result you want to get, you will not get it.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Obedience indeed is better than sacrifice. There are many, many
- 22:51Speaker 1: believers who prefer to pray. In replacement to obedience. And
- 22:57Speaker 1: the reason is because. In prayer you just dissipate energy.
- 23:02Speaker 1: But obedience many times will cost you. It will cost
- 23:05Speaker 1: you to part away with physical things.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Hallelujah. The Bible says they heard the word just like
- 23:12Speaker 1: we did. But the word did not profit them not
- 23:16Speaker 1: being mixed with faith.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Can I tell you?
- 23:19Speaker 1: One of the major assignments of prayer is to help
- 23:22Speaker 1: you know the will of God. The moment the will
- 23:24Speaker 1: of God is known, you obtain grace to walk in
- 23:28Speaker 1: keeping with the conditions that commit God. Once your part
- 23:32Speaker 1: is not played, you render the word impotent. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
- 23:40Speaker 1: For instance, the Bible talks about diligence as a requirement
- 23:44Speaker 1: for greatness. If you pray with a commitment to remain lazy,
- 23:48Speaker 1: you are not going to have the prayer answered. At best,
- 23:52Speaker 1: God will show you through dreams and visions that laziness
- 23:55Speaker 1: is why you are there.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Are we together now?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Prayer was not supposed to replace diligence. the various responsibility
- 24:05Speaker 1: components that commit the believer as far as getting promises manifest.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I think it's a mistake that is done in church.
- 24:13Speaker 1: There are many people who perpetually live, walk in disobedience
- 24:20Speaker 1: and expect that just because they prayed, it will automatically
- 24:24Speaker 1: make that happen. The Bible says, he that wants friends
- 24:27Speaker 1: must show himself friendly. If you're somebody who disregards people,
- 24:32Speaker 1: you have a lot of disdain for people, pray the
- 24:34Speaker 1: favor prayer you can. As far as that will concern,
- 24:38Speaker 1: the answer will remain in the realm of the spirit.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Because the human components that need to partner with the
- 24:43Speaker 1: spirit of God, you have ignored them. And dishonor is
- 24:47Speaker 1: the key that shuts any door.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 24:53Speaker 1: So when you pray outside of the provisions that scripture allows,
- 25:00Speaker 1: you are praying amiss.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Number two, when your motif.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Is corrupted just to satisfy your lust, there is no
- 25:07Speaker 1: kingdom come. Contained in your desire. There is no kingdom come.
- 25:13Speaker 1: There is nothing in your desire that glorifies Jesus. There
- 25:17Speaker 1: is nothing in your desire that gives him praise. There
- 25:20Speaker 1: is nothing in your desire that sings his praises to
- 25:23Speaker 1: the nations.
- 25:24Speaker 2: You will not secure answer from heaven. And number three.
- 25:27Speaker 1: If you are praying without a commitment to obeying God
- 25:32Speaker 1: or obeying the instructions that will come from that prayer,
- 25:36Speaker 1: there are many, many, many people whose prayer remains impotent
- 25:40Speaker 1: because it's a waste for the Holy Spirit to instruct
- 25:42Speaker 1: them in the place of prayer. Because when God tells
- 25:45Speaker 1: them the things to do, they would not do it.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Whatsoever he tells you to do, John chapter 2, he
- 25:53Speaker 1: says to do. Having the readiness to judge all disobedience,
- 25:58Speaker 1: it says, when your obedience is complete. Are we learning now?
- 26:03Speaker 1: So this is very powerful. I watch believers, sincere believers
- 26:06Speaker 1: who love the Lord, pray, dissipating zeal and energy, and
- 26:11Speaker 1: you can see the mistakes that are made in prayer.
- 26:14Speaker 1: And sometimes I'm moved with so much compassion because I
- 26:17Speaker 1: know that these people.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Are praying with zeal, albeit without knowledge.
- 26:23Speaker 1: What makes your activities in the spirit powerful is the
- 26:26Speaker 1: understanding that supports what you are doing. The difference between
- 26:30Speaker 1: giving as donation and giving as a spiritual commitment that
- 26:36Speaker 1: brings you a harvest of increase is understanding, not just
- 26:40Speaker 1: the seed. When you carry a donation mentality, there's no reward.
- 26:46Speaker 1: The reward is that people who have a good perception
- 26:48Speaker 1: about you, that they saw you dropping a seed, but
- 26:51Speaker 1: it will not reach heaven. Are we together? So understanding
- 26:56Speaker 1: is what gives strength to our spiritual activities. You can
- 27:01Speaker 1: dance just as a show and yet lose out on
- 27:05Speaker 1: an opportunity to receive the blessings that come from such
- 27:09Speaker 1: a powerful spiritual practice. You can sing and it's just
- 27:13Speaker 1: entertainment for you. Are we together now? What gives life
- 27:18Speaker 1: to the spiritual activities that we engage in is the
- 27:21Speaker 1: understanding that supports what we're doing. So before you act,
- 27:28Speaker 1: it's important that you educate yourself. Why am I doing this?
- 27:32Speaker 1: What is the revelation behind the things I'm doing? I'm
- 27:35Speaker 1: locking myself in the room and I'm dancing before the Lord.
- 27:39Speaker 1: What does this mean? What blessing is connected to disobedience?
- 27:44Speaker 1: Are we together? I'm now emptying my account to bring
- 27:47Speaker 1: my seed to church. Are you just doing it because
- 27:49Speaker 1: you are frustrated? Or are you doing it because you
- 27:52Speaker 1: have an understanding that no man outgives God? Hallelujah. Understanding
- 28:01Speaker 1: is powerful. Jesus said, I will build my church upon
- 28:05Speaker 1: this formula. That you have to understand first. Before you act.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Who do men say that I am? And they said
- 28:14Speaker 1: you are this and that. And he said this is ignorance.
- 28:16Speaker 1: But what do you say? And Peter said I know
- 28:19Speaker 1: who thou art. Thou art Christ. Even the son of
- 28:22Speaker 1: the living God. Understanding. Understanding. It is the reason why
- 28:27Speaker 1: two people can come and drop the same seed. The
- 28:30Speaker 1: same amount. Under the same condition. And even receive prophetic
- 28:34Speaker 1: blessings from the man of God. One will go and
- 28:37Speaker 1: return with testimonies. Another person will return as if he
- 28:40Speaker 1: never came to church. Often times the difference is not
- 28:44Speaker 1: the anointing that came upon them. Not the size of
- 28:46Speaker 1: the seed necessarily. But the understanding that supported what they did.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Pray in amiss. I'm praying for you that from today.
- 28:57Speaker 1: May your prayer produce power. Shout a louder amen. May
- 29:01Speaker 1: your prayer produce power. You may have heard me say,
- 29:06Speaker 1: nobody lives what works. The reason why many people plunge
- 29:10Speaker 1: into prayerlessness is because they are frustrated by the repeated
- 29:13Speaker 1: cycles of dissipating energy without corresponding testimonies. When you pray
- 29:19Speaker 1: and it produces, you will pray again. Am I right
- 29:22Speaker 1: on that? When you pray and it produces, I was
- 29:28Speaker 1: very touched when I saw the testimony of the six-month baby,
- 29:34Speaker 1: you know, Just smiling and crying at the same time enjoying.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I said, my God, look at this. the power of
- 29:40Speaker 1: prayer you don't want to spend time crying to a
- 29:46Speaker 1: god that in your case looks like an idol because
- 29:50Speaker 1: you are praying lord visit me nothing happens arise for
- 29:54Speaker 1: me nothing happens okay forget about me and visit my
- 29:57Speaker 1: child nothing happens Everything you shout unto God and then
- 30:03Speaker 1: you wrap up your prayer by saying amen. And you
- 30:05Speaker 1: walk out of that place knowing it will not be answered. Hallelujah.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Do you know how powerful it is when everything you
- 30:17Speaker 1: do produces results? Whatsoever he doeth prospers. Is that in
- 30:24Speaker 1: your Bible? That includes your praying. Imagine how many people
- 30:28Speaker 1: you want to see their conditions change. That if you
- 30:30Speaker 1: had the power through prayer to change their conditions. And
- 30:34Speaker 1: you've mastered the dynamics of potent, functional and answered prayer.
- 30:40Speaker 1: You will pray and intercede with joy. Because you already
- 30:43Speaker 1: have the heart to see people's problems turned around. But
- 30:47Speaker 1: for most people, we pray and pray and pray and
- 30:51Speaker 1: nothing happens. Let me remind you again one last time.
- 30:54Speaker 1: If your prayer is not answered. These are the three
- 30:56Speaker 1: areas to check. Number one, the word compliancy may be
- 31:01Speaker 1: found wanting. That you are just praying emotional prayers. For instance, Father,
- 31:06Speaker 1: thank you. You are the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
- 31:08Speaker 1: Rose of Sharon, Lily of the Valley. And most people
- 31:11Speaker 1: don't even believe what they are saying. They don't even
- 31:13Speaker 1: know the implication of what they are saying. If you
- 31:16Speaker 1: pick just one of those attributes of God and you
- 31:18Speaker 1: study it, it will build your faith. What does it
- 31:21Speaker 1: mean to be the Lion of the tribe of Judah?
- 31:25Speaker 1: And after we wrap up all those things, we say, God,
- 31:27Speaker 1: I'm here again.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Will you allow shame like this? Is this how my
- 31:30Speaker 2: life is going to be?
- 31:32Speaker 1: Now, of course, I know you are being sincere and sympathetic. God,
- 31:35Speaker 1: in my presence, I'm watching all these my people. This
- 31:38Speaker 1: one that went to school, when? You are praying now.
- 31:40Speaker 1: The person now has a job. The other day, I
- 31:43Speaker 1: was standing by the junction. You are talking to God now.
- 31:46Speaker 1: And I saw this. God, you can't be doing all
- 31:48Speaker 1: these kind of things to me. And then you say amen. Now,
- 31:51Speaker 1: let me be honest with you. God is touched with
- 31:55Speaker 1: the feelings of your infirmity. He's called compassion. But he's
- 31:59Speaker 1: only moved by his word. Did you hear what I said?
- 32:03Speaker 1: God is touched with the feelings of your infirmity. But
- 32:07Speaker 1: he's bound himself to his word. If God were not
- 32:14Speaker 1: bound to his word. Nobody he died for. Who did
- 32:18Speaker 1: not accept him will be in hell now. His compassion
- 32:22Speaker 1: will not allow them. Yet because the condition is that
- 32:26Speaker 1: whoever receives the son has life. Whoever rejects the son
- 32:31Speaker 1: has been condemned already. So no matter how much he
- 32:34Speaker 1: loves the sinner, he will honor the sinners rejecting him.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Even at the detriment of his eternal damnation. This is
- 32:41Speaker 1: how powerful God has bound himself to his word. So
- 32:44Speaker 1: if you think just because you are crying, God will answer.
- 32:47Speaker 1: I want you to know that he still remains a
- 32:49Speaker 1: God of love. But you may be disappointed for a
- 32:51Speaker 1: very long time. Church is quiet. I assume the word
- 32:59Speaker 1: is entering your spirit. Because I'm sure many people are
- 33:03Speaker 1: just thinking, ah, so this is what I've been doing.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Praying outside of the scripture. Emotional, sociological prayer. A mix
- 33:15Speaker 1: of wise sayings. My father said, nobody trouble me. You
- 33:20Speaker 1: are talking to God. No, these things don't work that way.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Pray like a believer. A believer has been grafted into
- 33:28Speaker 1: a new culture. And there is a modus operandi that
- 33:31Speaker 1: governs that culture. Are we together? And then the Bible
- 33:36Speaker 1: says that we pray, we have to examine our motif.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Our motif. Our motif. Our motif.
- 33:47Speaker 2: God, you gave this sister a wrapper. Give me two
- 33:49Speaker 2: of them.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I'm watching you. And God says, no. This is not
- 33:53Speaker 1: how I walk. If that is why you are here,
- 33:56Speaker 1: Let's talk about something else. But as far as the
- 33:58Speaker 1: matter of a rapper is concerned, forget it. This is
- 34:01Speaker 1: not how I give people rappers. Father, I desire a
- 34:06Speaker 1: covering to empower me to be able to reveal you more.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Heaven says now you are speaking our language. Let's talk again.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Is someone learning now? This jealousy driven prayer and fasting
- 34:20Speaker 1: does not produce result. This envy driven prayer and fasting.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Envy driven ministry. Envy driven pursuits. God, either give me
- 34:32Speaker 1: the same thing or take away the other person's own.
- 34:35Speaker 2: The most important thing is let's be in the same position.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Motiv. And then number three, make sure you don't go
- 34:50Speaker 1: to the place of prayer when you are not.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Willing to obey God.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Because oftentimes the real end point of your prayer is
- 34:57Speaker 1: when divine instructions come. And the moment instructions come, the
- 35:02Speaker 1: remaining part of that equation is at the mercy of
- 35:05Speaker 1: your obedience. If God tells you that the secret to
- 35:10Speaker 1: your rising, Lord, I'm trusting you for a job.
- 35:13Speaker 2: I'm trusting you to open up a door.
- 35:15Speaker 1: And then a Rima word can come to you based
- 35:19Speaker 1: on scripture. And God gives you an instruction. Buy a
- 35:24Speaker 1: basket of fruits. And go and sow it as a
- 35:27Speaker 1: seed to someone who just got a job. Now, you
- 35:30Speaker 1: heard that. That word, God has already answered your prayer.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Whether it will manifest or not, it depends on your obedience.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And you say, Lord, I won't buy a basket of
- 35:39Speaker 1: food for anyone. My ego will not allow me. Let's
- 35:41Speaker 1: keep praying. Father, in the name of Jesus. Listen, let
- 35:44Speaker 1: me tell you. It doesn't work that way. Obedience is
- 35:50Speaker 1: a powerful force. Did you hear what I said? Philippians
- 35:54Speaker 1: chapter 2 from verse 5. Let this mind be in
- 35:56Speaker 1: you which was also in Christ Jesus. Who though being God,
- 36:00Speaker 1: equal with God, the Bible says, did not consider it robbery.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 36:05Speaker 1: But that he laid aside everything and became a man, died.
- 36:12Speaker 1: He was in the likeness of man and the Bible
- 36:14Speaker 1: says he died even the death of the cross. On
- 36:17Speaker 1: account of his obedience, the Bible says he was obedient
- 36:21Speaker 1: unto death. That is a realm of obedience. There is
- 36:25Speaker 1: obedience unto inconvenience. There is obedience unto shame. There is
- 36:32Speaker 1: obedience unto death. That is the highest level of obedience.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Obedience unto death. There is obedience that does not kill you,
- 36:40Speaker 1: but just inconveniences you. Emptying your account does not kill you,
- 36:44Speaker 1: but it's obedience unto inconvenience. There is a reward connected
- 36:48Speaker 1: to that. The highest level of obedience that any man
- 36:52Speaker 1: can manifest in this earth realm is this, obedience unto inconvenience. Wherefore,
- 36:59Speaker 1: on account of this, God hath so highly exalted him
- 37:04Speaker 1: and given him an office, a name that is above
- 37:07Speaker 1: every other name. Let every other name fade away.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Let every other name fade away.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Till there's only you.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Let every other name fade away.
- 37:28Speaker 2: You see, when you sing songs like that.
- 37:31Speaker 1: This was the obedience that purchased that reality. So when
- 37:35Speaker 1: you go to pray and instructions come as Rima, you
- 37:39Speaker 1: must obtain grace to obey and obey fast. Delayed obedience
- 37:45Speaker 1: is disobedience in a measure. Because we walk based on
- 37:49Speaker 1: the law of times and seasons. You can obey God late.
- 37:53Speaker 1: And it will be equal to disobedience. When he spoke
- 37:56Speaker 1: to Abraham. Genesis 22. He says take down your son.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Your only son. The Bible says he arose early in
- 38:03Speaker 1: the morning. There is timing to obedience. You don't obey
- 38:07Speaker 1: when you want. You obey when the word comes. That
- 38:10Speaker 1: is the reason why in the place of prayer. Among
- 38:13Speaker 1: the many things you pray for. Is the doing grace.
- 38:17Speaker 1: The doing grace is what empowers the believer to take
- 38:20Speaker 1: prompt action and reveal and redeem the time.
- 38:24Speaker 2: I hope God is helping us already.
- 38:26Speaker 1: We are still discussing praying amiss. Africa prays oh. But
- 38:37Speaker 1: most times we pray amiss. That is the truth.
- 38:41Speaker 2: We pray sincerely but we pray amiss.
- 38:43Speaker 1: So the ratio of the energy dissipated to the results
- 38:47Speaker 1: obtained from prayer is like putting a bucket in front
- 38:51Speaker 1: of a tap and it's coming drop by drop. So
- 38:55Speaker 1: there are so many people waiting with their buckets and
- 38:57Speaker 1: it will take one person over two weeks and yet
- 39:00Speaker 1: that tap has the ability to fill up the bucket
- 39:03Speaker 1: in less than a minute. You see, it matters that
- 39:09Speaker 1: God answers you early The Bible says, satisfy me early
- 39:14Speaker 1: with your mercy. There is timing to the help of God.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Are we learning now? Now let's consider what the prayer
- 39:23Speaker 1: of faith is very quickly. If you know what it
- 39:27Speaker 1: means to pray a miss, you should pray a miss.
- 39:30Speaker 1: begin to already guess what it means to pray by faith.
- 39:35Speaker 1: And the prayer of faith will heal the sick and
- 39:39Speaker 1: God will raise him up. I know he was speaking
- 39:42Speaker 1: in the context of healing, but I like the other
- 39:45Speaker 1: part that says God will raise him up. The prayer
- 39:48Speaker 1: of faith means Can raise a man up. A weak
- 39:51Speaker 1: man to be strong. The poor to be blessed. A
- 39:56Speaker 1: limited man to be unlimited. Prayer makes the small great.
- 40:02Speaker 1: If it is the prayer of faith. And the Lord
- 40:05Speaker 1: shall raise him up. And the Lord shall raise his
- 40:09Speaker 1: business up. Raise his ministry up. Raise his influence up.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Hallelujah.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Hallelujah. I'm praying for you before we discuss this. If
- 40:21Speaker 1: there is anything that has kept you down in the
- 40:24Speaker 1: name that is above all names, that your life has
- 40:27Speaker 1: been stunted, limited by the power that raised Christ from
- 40:31Speaker 1: the dead, I speak over you that after today, in
- 40:35Speaker 1: the name that is above all names, may you rise
- 40:37Speaker 1: up beyond your imagination. You will marvel and wonder at
- 40:44Speaker 1: what the hand of God is able to do in
- 40:46Speaker 1: the lives of men. The prayer of faith can cause
- 40:52Speaker 1: the Lord to raise him up. To raise him up.
- 40:56Speaker 1: To raise him up. But thou, O Lord, are the
- 41:01Speaker 1: shield for me.
- 41:04Speaker 3: My glory, you lift my hand. But thou, O Lord,
- 41:13Speaker 3: are the shield for me. My glory, the lifter of
- 41:19Speaker 3: my head.
- 41:20Speaker 1: I like that part.
- 41:22Speaker 3: You're my glory, the lifter of my head. He's my glory,
- 41:30Speaker 3: the lifter of my head. You are my glory, the
- 41:37Speaker 3: limiter of my head.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Barely God can add to a man till you become
- 41:45Speaker 1: strong as a nation. One man. One man can have
- 41:50Speaker 1: the strength of a nation when God helps you. It
- 41:53Speaker 1: says by God I can run through a troop. And
- 41:57Speaker 1: by my God I can leap over a wall. Listen,
- 42:02Speaker 1: behind the exploits of men is the jealousy of a
- 42:06Speaker 1: mighty God that stands behind them as a mighty terrible one.
- 42:12Speaker 1: You define your possibilities in this kingdom when you are
- 42:16Speaker 1: able to secure the attention of God.
- 42:20Speaker 2: I quoted that scripture yesterday night.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Have respect for the covenant for the dark places of
- 42:26Speaker 1: the earth are in you. A habitation of cruelty. The
- 42:34Speaker 1: whole world lies in wickedness. There is no guarantee that
- 42:38Speaker 1: people will indefinitely stand to support you. Support your ministry.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Support what you stand for. Prophesy this song one more time.
- 42:48Speaker 1: You are my glory. The lifter up of my head.
- 42:55Speaker 3: You are my glory, the lifter of my head.
- 43:00Speaker 1: See the maker lifting you up.
- 43:02Speaker 4: You are my glory, the lifter of my head. You
- 43:10Speaker 4: are my glory, the lifter of my head.
- 43:17Speaker 1: It is that same God and it is that same
- 43:19Speaker 1: name that will finish up the payment of this building.
- 43:23Speaker 1: It is that same God and that same name that
- 43:26Speaker 1: will give children to the barren. It is that same
- 43:29Speaker 1: God and that same name that will lift weak people
- 43:32Speaker 1: in this church and make them strong and mighty like nations.
- 43:36Speaker 1: It is that same God and that same name that
- 43:39Speaker 1: will give disability and power and grace to men. You see,
- 43:47Speaker 1: let me tell you this. Men make boast in their knowledge.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Men may boast in their achievements. There are some of
- 43:56Speaker 1: us that do not have that luxury. The basis of
- 44:02Speaker 1: the help of God, the basis for everything good that
- 44:06Speaker 1: God has done today is attributed directly to the help
- 44:11Speaker 1: of God. But I can tell you, God can make
- 44:14Speaker 1: a man become a nation. He says in thee shall all.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Genesis 12 verse 3. In thee. Not from thee. In thee.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Connected to you. Because of you. Shall all the families
- 44:31Speaker 1: of the earth be blessed. That right from where you are.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Here in this church.
- 44:40Speaker 1: In Lagos. Somewhere that nobody knows you. God is able
- 44:44Speaker 1: to lift you. Listen, when God decides to raise a
- 44:47Speaker 1: man bar, woe betides the force that stands against you.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Then you will see the real power. God is not
- 44:55Speaker 1: just a lambo, he's a lion. He's a lion. Have
- 45:01Speaker 1: you seen lions bring down great animals? Many times their size.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Except that this one is the most high. He's not
- 45:09Speaker 1: a lion just because of attitude. He's a lion because
- 45:12Speaker 1: all power belongs to him. I have spoken once and
- 45:16Speaker 1: twice have you heard that power belongs to the Lord.
- 45:20Speaker 1: The Bible says he has broken the gates of brass
- 45:23Speaker 1: and cut the bars of iron in sunder. I'm saying
- 45:28Speaker 1: this because this is what must happen to you beginning
- 45:30Speaker 1: from today. Now thanks be to God. Which causes us always.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Leaping in ministry. Doesn't matter who likes you or doesn't
- 45:40Speaker 1: like you. Once God stands behind you. That force keeps
- 45:44Speaker 1: pushing you. Keeps pushing you. Moving you from glory to glory.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Moving you from grace to grace. Raising men to stand.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Shifting systems and structures. And compelling them. To align to
- 46:00Speaker 1: his purposes in your life. He told Joshua. He said
- 46:10Speaker 1: no man will be able to stand against you. I
- 46:13Speaker 1: thank God it was Joshua he spoke to. No man
- 46:17Speaker 1: shall be able to stand against you. All the days
- 46:20Speaker 1: of your life. He says today I will begin to
- 46:23Speaker 1: magnify you. In the sight of all Egypt. Israel. So
- 46:27Speaker 1: that they will know that as I was with Moses.
- 46:33Speaker 1: In one minute we are going to sing this song again.
- 46:35Speaker 1: You are my glory. You are the lifter. See yourself rising.
- 46:40Speaker 1: See yourself shining. See yourself excelling. Regardless the curses. Regardless
- 46:46Speaker 1: the yokes. See your ministry gaining traction and visibility by
- 46:51Speaker 1: the power of the Holy Spirit. You're my glory.
- 46:57Speaker 3: The lifter of my head.
- 47:02Speaker 1: You're my glory.
- 47:05Speaker 3: You're my glory.
- 47:09Speaker 2: You're my glory.
- 47:11Speaker 4: You're my glory.
- 47:16Speaker 2: You're my glory.
- 47:18Speaker 4: You're my glory.
- 47:26Speaker 1: That is God for you. When God decides to come
- 47:29Speaker 1: to your family. And holds your hand. That I will
- 47:34Speaker 1: lift you. You see, many believers truly, they do not
- 47:39Speaker 1: know who God is. Many believers do not know who
- 47:46Speaker 1: God is. When God decides, whatever would have been impossible, possible,
- 47:52Speaker 1: then you make it easy. So when you are saying
- 47:56Speaker 1: you are my glory, then lift her up. Is there
- 47:59Speaker 1: many a day that rise up against me, Psalm 3?
- 48:02Speaker 1: Many a day that say, where is your help? But
- 48:04Speaker 1: it says, thou, O Lord, at a shield for me.
- 48:11Speaker 1: When God decides to help you, let me repeat it again.
- 48:15Speaker 1: He makes things possible and makes things easy. Two things,
- 48:20Speaker 1: possibility and ease. That is the assignment of help. So
- 48:25Speaker 1: if you want to buy something and it is one
- 48:29Speaker 1: million naira and you have 500,000. If I give you 500,000,
- 48:33Speaker 1: I achieve two things. One, I made that purchase possible,
- 48:38Speaker 1: but I made it easy. The help of God does
- 48:42Speaker 1: not just make things possible. It makes things easy. Is
- 48:49Speaker 1: your glory the lifter up of your head? You are
- 48:56Speaker 1: my glory, the lifter up of my head. Remain my glory,
- 49:05Speaker 1: the lifter up of my head. There are people here,
- 49:12Speaker 1: it will not be up to one month. You will
- 49:14Speaker 1: come and stand on this altar and say, look how
- 49:17Speaker 1: God lifted me. Look how God changed my life. family.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Look how God rewrote my story. Look how God gave
- 49:24Speaker 1: me a voice. God raised strangers. Please be seated for
- 49:32Speaker 1: a few minutes. I'm going to wrap up my session
- 49:35Speaker 1: by making prophetic declarations. But let me just show you something. Honestly,
- 49:40Speaker 1: I sense the water stirred in my spirit. That someone
- 49:43Speaker 1: you have come past a level for a long time.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Don't make it look like God is not faithful. It's
- 49:48Speaker 1: time to be angry. Listen, whatever you tolerate has the
- 49:53Speaker 1: license to remain. Did you hear what I said? Whatever
- 49:56Speaker 1: you tolerate has the license to remain. Your laxity to
- 50:01Speaker 1: press for change is the authorization for tragedies to remain.
- 50:06Speaker 1: The day you get dissatisfied, Lord, I cannot remain like this.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Everything that is alive grows. Where is my growth? As
- 50:15Speaker 1: proof that I'm alive. Biology and spirituality both agree that
- 50:20Speaker 1: when a thing is alive, it grows. So if it
- 50:23Speaker 1: is true that you are alive, where is the growth
- 50:25Speaker 1: that attests to the fact that you are alive? That
- 50:32Speaker 1: is why you must cause the spirit of delay. I've
- 50:35Speaker 1: taught you that the classic character of delay is that
- 50:38Speaker 1: the only thing that grows in your life is your age.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Once the spirit of delay is upon you, nothing else grows,
- 50:47Speaker 1: only your age. There is no justification of your days
- 50:53Speaker 1: by the corresponding accomplishments. I want you to be tired
- 50:57Speaker 1: today while you are listening to me. We came here
- 50:59Speaker 1: to release our faith. If it is not working, don't
- 51:03Speaker 1: keep quiet. Did you hear what I said? If it
- 51:05Speaker 1: is not working, don't keep quiet. Say it after me.
- 51:09Speaker 1: If it is not working, it says, give him no
- 51:13Speaker 1: rest until he establishes Jerusalem. Now, what does it mean
- 51:19Speaker 1: to pray the prayer of faith? Number one, What does
- 51:31Speaker 1: it mean to pray the prayer of faith? Number one.
- 51:35Speaker 1: The prayer of faith is scripture based prayer. Write it down.
- 51:42Speaker 1: The prayer of faith is scripture based prayer.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Why do we pray scripture based prayer?
- 51:53Speaker 1: Numbers chapter 23 and verse 19. God is not a
- 51:58Speaker 1: man that he should lie. Nor the son of man.
- 52:04Speaker 1: That he should repent. God is not a man. That
- 52:09Speaker 1: he should lie. He is not the son of man.
- 52:12Speaker 1: That he should repent. Had he said it. And shall
- 52:17Speaker 1: he not do it. Had he spoken. And shall he
- 52:21Speaker 1: not make it good. God is not a man. Number two.
- 52:26Speaker 2: I like this.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Psalm 138 and verse 2. Hmm. psalm 138 and verse 2.
- 52:36Speaker 1: psalm 132 8 verse 2 let's read together i will
- 52:40Speaker 1: worship towards your holy temple and praise thy name for
- 52:46Speaker 1: thy loving kindness and for thy truth why for thou
- 52:50Speaker 1: has magnified thy word above all thy names You have
- 52:56Speaker 1: lifted and exalted your word. That means when I pray
- 53:00Speaker 1: word compliance scripture based prayer. I have a guarantee by
- 53:05Speaker 1: the spirit. That God will not be tampered by any
- 53:10Speaker 1: biases or emotions. He's exalted and magnified his word. Even
- 53:16Speaker 1: above his name. scripture based prayer never pray and ask
- 53:24Speaker 1: anything without presenting the scriptural basis that commits god father
- 53:32Speaker 1: i'm bringing before you my rent what is the basis
- 53:37Speaker 1: i will tell you the bible says watch this if
- 53:41Speaker 1: ye being evil he was speaking to fathers know how
- 53:44Speaker 1: to give good gifts to your children now you come
- 53:47Speaker 1: as a child and say lord I am your child.
- 53:50Speaker 1: You are father. The proof of fatherhood according to scripture
- 53:55Speaker 1: is the ability to give.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Are we together now?
- 54:01Speaker 1: Oh, I know that I was careless. I went and
- 54:05Speaker 1: did whatever it is. I went to go and use
- 54:08Speaker 1: the money for my rent to celebrate a birthday party.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Now I am in trouble. Father, your word.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Says that your mercy triumphs over judgment. It says your
- 54:17Speaker 1: mercies are new every morning. Your judgments are not new
- 54:20Speaker 1: every morning. I come before you in repentance and sincerity.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I have been careless, but I ask for your mercy,
- 54:27Speaker 1: for your namesake. You are praying Bible-based, scripture-based prayer. Your
- 54:36Speaker 1: child returns from school and it looks like things are
- 54:38Speaker 1: not working. He's failing in the exams. Beating the child,
- 54:41Speaker 1: kicking the child, getting angry, getting frustrated, and say.
- 54:45Speaker 2: God, this is your child.
- 54:46Speaker 1: That's not how it works. Carry someone, one, two. Blessed
- 54:50Speaker 1: is the man that feared the Lord, that delighted greatly
- 54:53Speaker 1: in his commands. God, you said my seed shall be mighty.
- 54:57Speaker 1: This does not look like might. This looks like shame
- 55:00Speaker 1: or reproach. I petition this child on account of the
- 55:04Speaker 1: integrity of your word. This is how believers pray. This
- 55:07Speaker 1: is prayer that produces results.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Are we blessed? You are a pastor and you are
- 55:15Speaker 1: leading people. You are not seeing great people rise from
- 55:18Speaker 1: your congregation. Go to God in prayer. Genesis 17 and
- 55:23Speaker 1: verse 6. Lord there is a covenant with you that
- 55:26Speaker 1: greatness will come out of me. Genesis 17 and verse 6.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Media help us please. It says and I will make
- 55:33Speaker 1: thee exceeding fruitful. And I will make nations of thee.
- 55:38Speaker 1: And things not shall come to thee. Shall come out
- 55:42Speaker 1: of thee. You carry that and do a three days
- 55:47Speaker 1: retreat with it. And you watch somebody will tell you,
- 55:50Speaker 1: I got a job with a multinational. Another person, I
- 55:53Speaker 1: established a business in six months, it's been global. God
- 55:56Speaker 1: is not honoring your word.
- 55:59Speaker 2: He's honoring his word that you have made your word.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Listen, this is the secret to mighty testimonies that you see.
- 56:08Speaker 1: I vowed before God that I will never raise a
- 56:11Speaker 1: weak people. And it's not because I'm Joshua Selman. This
- 56:14Speaker 1: is one of the anchor scriptures. Hallelujah. It looks like
- 56:22Speaker 1: everybody is forgetting you. People are not remembering you. Go
- 56:26Speaker 1: to God in prayer. And cry. That night could not
- 56:32Speaker 1: King Ahasuerus sleep. He said bring me the chronicles. And
- 56:36Speaker 1: he said this person has done this. What has been
- 56:38Speaker 1: done to him? And they said nothing. And a book
- 56:40Speaker 1: of remembrance was opened. You cry before God. And you
- 56:44Speaker 1: say I have been part of the testimony of many people.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Lord they have forgotten me. He said the keeper of Israel.
- 56:51Speaker 1: He does not sleep neither slumbers. And the wine presser
- 56:57Speaker 1: said before Pharaoh, I remember my wrong this day. So
- 57:00Speaker 1: it is wrong to forget those who help you. Did
- 57:03Speaker 1: you hear what I said? It is a wrong that
- 57:05Speaker 1: he remembered. I remember my wrong. That this person was
- 57:09Speaker 1: the one praying with me. Now I got a job
- 57:12Speaker 1: and for five years I have not even remembered him
- 57:14Speaker 1: to say take for tea and bread. He didn't say
- 57:17Speaker 1: I remember. I remember my wrong. It is wrong. This
- 57:25Speaker 1: is how we command results in destiny. Prayer becomes exciting
- 57:29Speaker 1: when you are praying scripture. When you are praying nonsense,
- 57:31Speaker 1: it will just frustrate you and you'll be clear that
- 57:34Speaker 1: your prayer will not be answered. Take time to write scriptures.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Don't just shout. And God has helped.
- 57:40Speaker 2: People to put the scriptures for you.
- 57:44Speaker 1: At least two or three scriptures. Go to God in fasting.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Go to God praying. Lock your door. This church is
- 57:52Speaker 1: not growing. Father, you are the God of increase. You
- 57:56Speaker 1: are the God of increase. I will multiply them. They
- 58:02Speaker 1: shall not be few. I will glorify them. They shall
- 58:05Speaker 1: not be small. That becomes your scripture. Oh, they are
- 58:10Speaker 1: not coming because the place is far. It's a lie.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Where was the ark of Noah when the animals found
- 58:15Speaker 1: their way to the ark? The ark of Noah was
- 58:20Speaker 1: placed in one position. And the animals left everywhere. Noah
- 58:25Speaker 1: did not know where the animals were. But there was
- 58:27Speaker 1: an anointing that compelled them. It's called anakazo. It's a
- 58:33Speaker 1: grace that compels. It said go to the highway and
- 58:37Speaker 1: the byways. And compel them to come. That my house
- 58:40Speaker 1: may be full. Listen. Listen.
- 58:48Speaker 2: I hope you don't mistaken what we're doing for pride.
- 58:51Speaker 2: But let me tell you this.
- 58:53Speaker 1: If you don't live like this, I assure you, you'll
- 58:56Speaker 1: be frustrated. This thing is not magical. This is how
- 59:02Speaker 1: you walk your salvation with fear and trembling. Walk out
- 59:08Speaker 1: your salvation. You are trusting God for a property beyond
- 59:14Speaker 1: your savings. Let me just give this advice. Beyond your savings,
- 59:19Speaker 1: no matter how much money you have, you can have
- 59:22Speaker 1: the money and the owner will say, I will not
- 59:23Speaker 1: give you. There are many things money cannot do. Psalm
- 59:27Speaker 1: 44 and verse 3. Somebody has received the revelation for
- 59:32Speaker 1: his property this year. Psalm 44 and verse 3. They
- 59:36Speaker 1: got not the land in possession by their own sword,
- 59:39Speaker 1: neither did their own arm save them, but thy right
- 59:42Speaker 1: hand and thine arm and the light of your countenance,
- 59:46Speaker 1: because thou hast a favor towards them. Someone just looks
- 59:51Speaker 1: at you and says, I'm working in the land office.
- 59:54Speaker 1: I just feel like including your name for an annulication.
- 59:58Speaker 1: And you will think it's one small land that looks
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: like a curse you will be given. And you will
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: never see the person again.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: If you think you have to know those who help you,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: save journey.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Did you hear what I said? It takes a long
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: time to know one person. And yet you need many
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: people cumulatively to help you. So the Bible says, strangers
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: shall feed your flock.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: When you are.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Praying for help, it must come from both known and
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: unknown people. Abraham did not know Abimelech. But in one night,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: it was Abimelech that caused Abraham to prosper. He wanted
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: to take his wife and God said, if you touch
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: that woman, you are dead. By the next day, all
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the blessings of Abraham was a peace offering for apology.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: So you can meet with somebody who does not know
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: you and say, something is making me bless you. Tell
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the person, you are right. You don't know what I
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: did in my room. That something has a name. Do
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: you believe what I'm saying? I believe it. Believe this.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: One day you stand up and you are just walking
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: in your room prophetically. Everywhere the soles of your feet
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: treads upon. You are doing it in your room. Don't
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: worry that the room is just a two by two
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: or four by four. Don't mind the devil. You just
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: do what I'm telling you to do. Walking around by
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: the spirit. You come to do ministry in a city
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: and they tell you there are forces. That the ministry
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: does not survive one, two, three years. Don't you know
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: what to do? You don't confront forces on the pulpit.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: You confront forces in the secret place. The pulpit is
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: a place for manifestation. Don't stand on the pulpit and
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: that's when you are shouting at the spirits to hear you.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: It's too late.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: You deal with it in the secret place. The controlling
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: powers across this territory. Hear the word of the Lord.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: The Bible says, blessed is he who comes in the
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: name of the Lord. If I come by myself, I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: shouldn't be blessed. But because I come in the name
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: of the Lord. Is that not in your Bible? I'm
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: showing you the prayer of faith. Word compliant prayer that
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: produces power. The triumphant entry of Jesus, they said bless
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Hosanna in the highest. The triumphant entry is the testimony
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: of anybody who comes in the name of the Lord.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: When you come in the name of the Lord, the
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: proof that you come in the name of the Lord
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: is that there must eventually be a triumphant entry. There
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: was nothing that was used in that triumphant entry. That
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: was a personal property of Jesus. Not the leaves.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Not the man.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Not the donkey. He just came in the name of
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: the Lord. And provision followed to make sure the entry
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: was triumphant. Don't say I don't have money.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: I don't have this. I don't have that.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: No. The invisible things are the mothers of the visible things.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Everything visible is a child. The name of the mother
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: that gave birth to it is the spirit realm. The
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: resources that you have are beyond the things that you see.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Don't be deceived by the amount in your account. Whether
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: you say it correctly or not, you are still wrong.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: If what you have is 10 million and you say
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I have 10 million, you are still wrong. Do you
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: believe this? I'm sharing with you my life sincerely under God.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: This is what I do in the secret place. By
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: the spirit of God.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Get angry in your spirit. Stop pampering the devil around
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: your destiny. I told you when Satan comes, he does
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: not come to discuss. He does not come to advise.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: When he comes, he will kill. He will steal. He
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: will destroy. One more time. He will steal. He will kill.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: He will destroy. Everybody begins to hate you in the
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: place of work. That's an affliction. What did the Bible
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: say to do when you are afflicted? Pray. You are
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: just discussing it with people who cannot help you. What
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: is making my general manager hate me? Direct superior hate me?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Even the cleaners hate me. No, I'm a spiritual man.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I know this is not a sign of the favor
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: of God. Something is wrong. And you return back home.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Somebody says, can we come and watch a movie? Sorry,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: another time please. You lock your door. Thou anointest my
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: head with oil. My cup runneth over. Lord, what will
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you do if you are not from this, you are
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: not from that? No. No. Every good and perfect gift
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: cometh from above. Watch this. It comes from the Father
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: of lights. I caught a revelation of God as the
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: father of spirits. That's a very dangerous name. Every human
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: being is first a spirit. If you are not a spirit,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: you cannot be called man. You first have to be
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: spirit that is trapped in a body. So when God
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: calls himself the father of spirit, he can manipulate any
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: human spirit to achieve his purposes. Even if you are Pharaoh.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: So when someone beats his chest and says, over my
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: dead body, he's made a big mistake. Leave the person
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: and go to the father of spirits. The one who
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: turned men to beasts to show that he's a ruler
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: upon the earth. Arguing with men is a waste of time.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: We wrestle not against flesh and blood. You know the
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: scripture but have you been using it? This is what
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I'm teaching you. It is not just an awareness of it.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: It is when you engage. I'm teaching you the prayer
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: of faith. Shall heal the sick and it shall raise
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: men up. The prayer of faith.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I have audio recordings of different scriptures. Sometimes I can
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: sit down and just play them. scriptures on lifting scriptures
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: on healing scriptures on influence scriptures on power pay the
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: price and bring them together while others are sleeping we're
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: awake thou shalt be exalted above all the nations of
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: the earth no nation will reject me there is a
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: grace upon me no nation there is a mandate that
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: has proceeded above and ahead of me.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: This is what I believe.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I told you yesterday, or was, yes, yesterday. It's impossible
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: for everybody to hate you. Even Satan is not hated
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: by everybody. I said it yesterday. Terrorists have wives. A
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: woman who saw him as a terrorist and said, yes,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I'm going to marry you. Androbras have wives. Everybody cannot
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: hate you. You have just been meeting the wrong people.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: It's not your assignment to find the right people. You
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: are guided the steps of a good man. Talk to
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: me believers. Are ordered by who? Let me tell you something.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: When God wants to give you visibility. One of the
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: things that God does is. Is to change your audience
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: to the right people. There are many gifted people. But
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: because you are positioned around the wrong people. It is
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: painful when you are gifted. But the people hearing you
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: are not the ones mandated to bless you. They will
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: disregard what you carry no matter how much you carry it.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: There are CEOs today that are global in potential. But
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: the people around their lives do not have the capacity
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to discern, recognize, nor honor what they carry. Everybody you
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: see lifted came across this miracle of being repositioned to
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: the right people. Let me tell you how visibility happens.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: God brings you to the audience that have been praying
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: for your grace.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Yes sir.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Whether you're in music ministry, whether you're in word ministry,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: don't ignore what I'm saying. You will suffer in life
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: and ministry. Honestly, if you ignore it, it's true. Somebody
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: looks at you and says, does this not look like
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: the person we have been praying for?
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: And don't say there are many people.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: That's not your business. Your possibilities are defined by your
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: faith and conviction. Don't say there are many people. No.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Someone can look at you and say, based on this,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: You look like the secretary I've been praying for. And
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: then the person now says, how much should I give you?
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: And God says, keep quiet. You would have said 200.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: The person says, can you manage 2.5? And you almost
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: want to fall down. But because of how the person
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: perceives you, the person will think, listen, when you get
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: into the atmosphere of the right people, they will perceive
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: you sometimes to a point of flattery. You will think
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: they are lying to you. Believe what I'm telling you.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: This is how God lifted me up. Once upon a
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: time with all, of course I know that everybody has
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: that face. You can go somewhere where you are not
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: honored and appreciated. As you are climbing the bike, go in.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: They will bring out the honorarium like a bride and
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: squeeze it in a 2A exercise book and say, please,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: as you are going, thank you. But when God wants
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: to help a man, God puts together the audience that
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: have both the resources and the recognition of what God
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: has given you. And God will flaunt you like a
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: trophy in the presence of your helpers. And that becomes
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: the end of it. You will never go to the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: prison again. Let me prophesy over someone. In the name
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: that is above all names, I'm praying for you. May
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: God reposition you to the right people. May my God
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: reposition you to the right audience. May my God reposition
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you to the right people. I have five minutes let's
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: tie this up what is the prayer of faith so
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: number one please be seated word based word compliant scripture
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: based prayer number two what is the prayer of faith
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: the prayer of faith is prayers in accordance to the
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: revealed will of God Prayers that is in accordance to
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: the revealed will of God. 1 John 5, 14 and
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: 15 please. Prayers that is in accordance to the revealed
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: will of God. According to scripture, one of the ways
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: that we redeem time is to know the will of God.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: The Bible says to walk circumspectly as wise and not
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: as unwise. Redeeming the time and that by knowing what
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: the will of God is. Let's read this scripture. One
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: to read please. And this is the confidence we have
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: in him. According to his will. HCC shall say according
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: to his will. Say according to his will. According to
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: his will. Yes. According to his will. That is a
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: missing link for many people's prayer. They pray. But it's
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: not according to his will. This is the confidence we have.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: That if we ask anything. According to his will. He
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: heareth us. Verse 15. Verse 15. It says, and if
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: we know that he's here at us, whatsoever we ask,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: we also know that we have the petitions that we
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: desired of him. What is a prayer of faith? Praying
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: in accordance to the revealed will of God. Is it
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: the will of God to heal you? Do you believe that?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Do you have a scripture for it? Then you can
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: pray demanding healing. Is it the will of God to
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: bless you? Do you believe that? You see, before you
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: ask anything, verify if your prayer request is consistent with
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: the will of God.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: Verify.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Where it is not everything about your desire that is
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: stated directly in scripture. That is the advantage of praying
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: in the spirit. Every time the revealed will is unknown.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: You pray in the spirit. Until the spirit who searches
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: the mind of God. When he reveals to you the
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: will of God. There must be a scripture that connects
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: to his will that you now know.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: It is not everything you desire. that is directly written
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: in Scripture. There is no name Lagos in Scripture. There
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: is no name for where your house will be in scripture. Lord,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: where am I going to be? That's where the prayer
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: language comes. The moment you begin to pray in the spirit,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: the Bible tells us that the spirit of God is
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: a wisdom of God.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: That he has a unique ministry to search the mind
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: of the father.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: And he can transport to your understanding that which is
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: consistent with the will of God. He's able to reveal
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: and help you know the things that are freely given.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: But once the will of God. The knowledge of that
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: will is revealed. The next thing is to switch back.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: To word compliant prayer. Hallelujah.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: Number three.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: And I end here.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: What is the prayer of faith? The prayer of faith.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Is persistent prayer. Persistent prayer. Prayer that does not stop.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Till the answers arrive. James 5.17 The prayer of faith
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: is not a one time prayer. It's a prayer that
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: holds on. Knowing that it may take time. But that
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: the word of God will surely be made manifest. Elijah
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: was a man subject to us. It's still the same
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: flow of scripture. Explaining to you what the prayer of
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: faith is. That the Bible later calls a fervent and
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: effectual prayer. That avails much. It says Elijah was a
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: man subject to like person as we are. The Bible
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: says he prayed earnestly. This is one definition of the
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: prayer of faith. The prayer that is prayed earnestly. Persistence. Consistence.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: That it might not rain. And the Bible says it
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: rained not on the earth by a space of three
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: years and six months. Next verse. The Bible says and
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: he prayed again. And he prayed again. And he prayed again.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: He prayed in January. He still prayed in February. He
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: still prayed in March. Again is what makes any prayer possible.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: The prayer of faith. You pray again. You pray again.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: You pray again. You pray again. Do not think you're
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: praying again. It's a sign of unbelief. It's not true.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: It depends on what you are saying.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Jesus prayed repeating the same words again.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: Repeating the same words.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Pray again. In Luke chapter 18 and verse 1, the
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Bible says he spake this parable to the end that
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: men ought always to pray and not to faint. Then
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: the Bible gives us a very interesting scenario that there
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: was a man who did not fear God nor regard men.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: May you never meet such a man.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: A man that doesn't fear God and a man that
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: does not regard men. That is a dangerous man. I
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: say it again. May you not meet such a person.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Then the Bible says there was a very frail widow.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: What does it mean? All her support systems had left her.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: From a physical standpoint she did not have much. The
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Bible says she came to him saying. Avenge me mine adversary.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Verse 4. The Bible says for a while he would
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: not do that. But afterwards he said to himself. Though
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: I fear not God nor regard man. Verse 5. He
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: says yet this widow troubled me. And how does she
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: trouble him? I will avenge her less by her continual coming.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: He's teaching the character of prayer that works. That this
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: is a frail woman with no ability to fight this
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: man physically. But she used the power of persistence. The
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Bible says, give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: as a place. Is it alright to pray for something
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: for one year? For two years? Ask Abraham for 25 years.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: And the Bible says, and after he patiently endured, he
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: obtained the promise. persistence in the spirit is a sign
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: of stamina, is proof you still believe God. And the
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: prayer of faith shall heal the sick and the Lord
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: shall raise him up. Please rise up on your feet.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Please rise up on your feet. We are wrapping up.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I want to speak over your life. I share the
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: burden that is in the heart of God's servant to
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: see you produce results. This conference is called exploits even
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: of faith and by faith. God wants us to produce
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: potent results. He is glorified. You have tabernacled here from
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: the start of this conference wrapping up tomorrow. And I
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: want you to pray one more prayer. Just one more prayer.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Father give me an evidence. Let there be an evidence
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: in my life. That you have visited me. Go ahead
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: and pray. Let there be an evidence. evidence in my life.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Let there be an evidence.
