- 1:47Speaker 1: Do you remember that show from VH one. That shit
- 1:51Speaker 1: is so lit. I think there's like four or five
- 1:53Speaker 1: seasons with like dalists celebrities. Oh my god, we're gonna
- 1:56Speaker 1: get into that too. There's so many shows we're gonna

- 2:14Speaker 1: Thank you in man, thank you. Now, we don't really
- 2:18Speaker 1: have any hot goss to talk to you guys about
- 2:21Speaker 1: this week, except for the fact that since all of
- 2:26Speaker 1: the hullabaloo around Robin Brown and her haunted creepy dolls
- 2:32Speaker 1: and all the doll clothing she was purchasing on It's
- 2:36Speaker 1: see to the tune of sixty one thousand dollars in
- 2:40Speaker 1: a year or something crazy like that.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah, in a year, it's crazy.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Since all of us have been talking about it in
- 2:46Speaker 1: the Sister Wives universe. Well, apparently the Robin Brown has
- 2:50Speaker 1: deactivated her Etsy account.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I think that's just so great. I think that's hilarious
- 2:56Speaker 3: because everybody like, we're all rabbit over here in the dumpster.
- 2:59Speaker 3: We're gonna find everything, Robin, We're gonna see all this shit.
- 3:04Speaker 3: I love that she didn't even think to make her
- 3:06Speaker 3: Etsy private until all of this came out, and now
- 3:09Speaker 3: she's deactivating it. Yeah, she's probably buying stuff still under
- 3:13Speaker 3: like a pseudonym.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Absolutely, she's still stupid. She that's the thing. She's dumb.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Like if I was a celebritet, yeah, and if I
- 3:20Speaker 1: knew like the entire world hated me and that there
- 3:23Speaker 1: was a dumpster filled with fat raccoons with monocles and
- 3:28Speaker 1: a grudge, yeah, like I would absolutely lock down my
- 3:31Speaker 1: social media. I'd be using sock puppets, like you would
- 3:33Speaker 1: not know who I was at least street. But she's dumb.
- 3:36Speaker 2: She is so dumb.
- 3:37Speaker 1: But here's the thing. Even though she deactivated her account,
- 3:42Speaker 1: the comments that she left under all of the dolls
- 3:45Speaker 1: and all of the clothing, those comments are still there
- 3:49Speaker 1: with some of the merchants responding to her and saying,
- 3:53Speaker 1: oh thanks Robin, Oh my god, that's amazing. So it
- 3:55Speaker 1: doesn't say her account name as it was, but it
- 3:57Speaker 1: says deactivated user. But we have merchants calling her Robin,
- 4:02Speaker 1: so we know that it's her. And by the way,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I want to shout out Nikki Haverstock because I got
- 4:07Speaker 1: all that intel from her. She's wonderful. If you're not
- 4:10Speaker 1: following her on YouTube, like you, why are you? She's wonderful. Yeah,
- 4:15Speaker 1: so thank you for that.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Yeah, that's amazing.
- 4:18Speaker 1: She can run, but she can't hide, No, she can.
- 4:20Speaker 1: She cannot. The internet is for yep forever.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I wish people knew like her card number and stuff
- 4:27Speaker 3: for the payments, so they could just look up everything
- 4:29Speaker 3: that she's buying, because you know, she's putting all that
- 4:31Speaker 3: shit on a credit card. Starts they ain't got no money.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yes. Oh, now we are in season six and we're
- 4:37Speaker 1: going to be getting into a recap of episode two.
- 4:40Speaker 1: But I was just checking out in this episode how
- 4:44Speaker 1: Robin's living now. Yeah, And she even says it when
- 4:47Speaker 1: we get to Robin's day, she's like, this is the
- 4:50Speaker 1: best my kids and I have ever had it ever,
- 4:55Speaker 1: Like living in this rental here in Las Vegas. Before
- 4:57Speaker 1: we get into the cul de Sac, she's like, we
- 4:59Speaker 1: are living lar.
- 5:00Speaker 2: We are so.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Happy to be here, like this is the best she's
- 5:04Speaker 1: ever experienced.
- 5:06Speaker 2: That's embarrassing.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It is kind of embarrassing a little bit. And then
- 5:09Speaker 1: she gets money, Like we talked last week, she gets
- 5:11Speaker 1: a little bit of money, and instead of like, I
- 5:14Speaker 1: don't know, having multitudes of investments that are working for
- 5:17Speaker 1: you with dividends, et cetera, she's buying dolls, oh yeah,
- 5:21Speaker 1: and deckenzie and villages and a bunch.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Of weird nick knacks.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Like even in her house, you could see some of
- 5:26Speaker 3: the knick knacks starting to pile up on her shelves
- 5:28Speaker 3: and stuff, all this random decorations and everything, And I'm like, girl,
- 5:32Speaker 3: why are you spending money on that shit?
- 5:35Speaker 1: I was looking at all of their homes. The only
- 5:37Speaker 1: organized and clean home was Mary's. Yeah, now with Janelle
- 5:41Speaker 1: and Christine, Like, you can't really blame them because they
- 5:44Speaker 1: have all these kids running around, and I guess Robin
- 5:46Speaker 1: does as well. She's got the three kids. But just
- 5:49Speaker 1: like food stacked totes everywhere, clothes like overflowing hampers everywhere.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It's kind of wild.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yeah, a little bit.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I would not want that on TV personally, if
- 6:03Speaker 3: my house was on TV, it would be spotless, so
- 6:06Speaker 3: you would not know how much of a trash goblin
- 6:09Speaker 3: I really am.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Right, Well, we're seeing Robin, we're seeing all of these
- 6:12Speaker 1: women who they are. All right, let's get into our
- 6:16Speaker 1: Sister Wives rewind recap again, Season six, episode two, entitled.
- 6:22Speaker 3: The Four Lives of Cody Brown.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Now the Four Lives of Four Wives, The four Lives,
- 6:28Speaker 1: the four Lives of four Wives?
- 6:30Speaker 3: Was it? No, it's the four Lives of Cody Brown.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I will bet you one. I will bet you massage.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I will bet you a massage. Are you taking the bet?
- 6:39Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I will I know what it was girl?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Oh shit, four Lives of Oh yeah, mama's good massage.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Oh my god. Well it makes sense though, because in
- 6:55Speaker 1: this episode we're going to each wives home. We're spending
- 6:59Speaker 1: a day with each wive and seeing like what they're
- 7:02Speaker 1: up to, what they're doing.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Yeah, So, but it was kind of all over the place.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Like I watched this twice and I'm like, man, there's
- 7:08Speaker 3: a lot of things going on here. Like we start
- 7:11Speaker 3: with another conversation about how the family's just really hardcore
- 7:15Speaker 3: struggling being in these rentals. Like Janelle says she feels
- 7:18Speaker 3: like she's a single mom. Christina is distraught and stressed
- 7:21Speaker 3: all the fucking time. Robin says that the separation is
- 7:25Speaker 3: like even more dramatic now that they're all in these
- 7:27Speaker 3: separate rentals and everything. But Mary is like, yeah, I'm
- 7:32Speaker 3: like totally used to the privacy now, and then it'd
- 7:35Speaker 3: be weird. Yeah, like total capricorn, being like I love
- 7:39Speaker 3: the privacy and it's going to be a challenge when
- 7:42Speaker 3: we reintegrate back into the cul de sac. And I'm like, really, well,
- 7:46Speaker 3: but she says.
- 7:47Speaker 1: That it's going to be a challenge because all of
- 7:49Speaker 1: the other wives are going to be able to see
- 7:51Speaker 1: what you're doing. They're going to be watching everybody else.
- 7:55Speaker 1: And I was trying to pick up what the subtext
- 7:58Speaker 1: was there, because she said, you know, and that's all
- 8:01Speaker 1: I'm going to say about that, Yeah, as if she
- 8:03Speaker 1: could say more. And I was wondering if she was
- 8:06Speaker 1: implying that we'll all be able to see how Cody
- 8:09Speaker 1: is really spending his time and then we're going to
- 8:12Speaker 1: see what happens.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Yeah, And I'm like, so in this season, are you
- 8:18Speaker 3: picking up on the fact that there's favoritism or are
- 8:20Speaker 3: you hearing it from the other wives, because Mary to
- 8:24Speaker 3: this day would deny that favoritism was happening this entire
- 8:29Speaker 3: time because she was loyal to Cody forever. So it's
- 8:32Speaker 3: just interesting that she said that.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Just because she would deny, it doesn't mean she believes that.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I guess like she has been caping for and defending
- 8:41Speaker 1: the family and defending Cody even though she knows that
- 8:44Speaker 1: she shouldn't, and it's indefensible. But I definitely think that
- 8:49Speaker 1: she's picking up that there's some favoritism happening, and like,
- 8:53Speaker 1: how could you not, because as these buildings are being constructed,
- 8:57Speaker 1: as the homes are going up in the cul de Sac,
- 9:00Speaker 1: apparently Cody specifically asked that Robin's home be constructed first,
- 9:06Speaker 1: even though her loan is not qualified and they don't
- 9:10Speaker 1: even know if she's going to be able to get
- 9:12Speaker 1: that loan. Furthermore, he then wants Mary's home to be
- 9:16Speaker 1: built second, and she's got some kind of a problem.
- 9:19Speaker 1: And I think the problem is Cody. It's either her
- 9:21Speaker 1: credit or it's his credit, or it's their credit. But
- 9:24Speaker 1: I think they've got really bad credit and so they're
- 9:27Speaker 1: having a problem with the bank. I agree with I
- 9:30Speaker 1: think this loan but Cody still wants Robin to go first.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy to me. We get to that whole conversation,
- 9:37Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, I was so mad at Mary and
- 9:39Speaker 3: at Robin, me too to oh my god.
- 9:42Speaker 2: And then we have Janelle at the Jim again.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Yeah, working out. I guess she's been working out pretty diligently.
- 9:48Speaker 3: She lost twenty five pounds and ninety days. That's great,
- 9:51Speaker 3: that's awesome. She's got a personal trainer. She talks about
- 9:54Speaker 3: how she's really discovering her independence and her life and
- 9:58Speaker 3: like taking care of herself. That for her, But then
- 10:01Speaker 3: she has to get on the scale again, and I'm
- 10:03Speaker 3: just like, wild, reach.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Here FICASTI mortified. Why do we have to go to
- 10:10Speaker 1: port And now she's doing the very best she can
- 10:13Speaker 1: in her life and we got to put her on.
- 10:15Speaker 3: A scale repeatedly again Wild, it's absolutely so.
- 10:20Speaker 1: She weigh two hundred and forty three pounds point six hours.
- 10:23Speaker 1: You know, I'm looking at that scale. I'm watching, but like,
- 10:26Speaker 1: she weighs two hundred and forty three pounds, what did
- 10:29Speaker 1: she weigh way back in the day when she was
- 10:32Speaker 1: first weighed by that crazy trainer?
- 10:34Speaker 3: Two seventy I think, Okay, so she's doing pretty good.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Yeah, she lost weight.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Well, she was upset in this episode because she wasn't
- 10:41Speaker 3: really moving on the scale, like this was her first
- 10:43Speaker 3: way in a month or something, and she's like, what
- 10:45Speaker 3: the fuck, I'm discouraged, like I might as well go
- 10:47Speaker 3: back to eating like shit. And her trainer's like trying
- 10:50Speaker 3: to tell her, like, no, you're building muscle, but you're
- 10:52Speaker 3: also losing weight at the same time, Like this is
- 10:54Speaker 3: just kind of how it is. This is why you
- 10:56Speaker 3: shouldn't really look at the scale anyway as like this
- 10:58Speaker 3: barometer of like how well you're doing when you're trying
- 11:01Speaker 3: to lose weight and work out and everything. But I'm
- 11:05Speaker 3: proud of Janelle. She's working out and I think it's great.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Yea on this weight loss journey and it's awesome.
- 11:12Speaker 1: It is awesome. She looks tired, though. I gotta say,
- 11:15Speaker 1: with all her kids and stuff.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Having to get up at five am to work out,
- 11:19Speaker 3: I could not be mean no, thank you, no.
- 11:21Speaker 2: No, ma'am.
- 11:22Speaker 1: That would put right into my sleep time because I
- 11:24Speaker 1: sleep tilt him. Yeah, so absolutely it not. But when
- 11:27Speaker 1: we have Cody coming over to her house to spend
- 11:30Speaker 1: the day with Janelle Janelle's Live, it really comes into
- 11:35Speaker 1: like clarity that she's doing absolutely everything even when Cody
- 11:40Speaker 1: is right there. He's sitting his fat ass in a requiner,
- 11:43Speaker 1: he's got some stupid laptop in his lap, He's not
- 11:47Speaker 1: paying attention to the nine thousand children running around and screaming.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Janelle is still the one doing all of the emotional
- 11:54Speaker 1: and the physical labor in the house. And we actually
- 11:56Speaker 1: see a scene between Garrison and Gabe.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Get they got into a big fight because Garrison like,
- 12:04Speaker 1: what did you do? Cut out?
- 12:05Speaker 3: He turned off Gabe's game in the middle right playing it.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Which is very rude, very rude. Gabe starts crying. So
- 12:12Speaker 1: Janelle comes in to mediate and she's like stop it.
- 12:15Speaker 1: That was mean, and then she turns it back and
- 12:17Speaker 1: then Garrison just slugs Gabe. I know, Yeah, this is
- 12:21Speaker 1: the boys for you though, totally teenagers. Yeah, And so
- 12:24Speaker 1: finally Janelle's like Cody Disney dad, like, can you please
- 12:29Speaker 1: come up? I mean, I know you hear all of
- 12:31Speaker 1: this right right, Can you please come up and take
- 12:33Speaker 1: care of your children?
- 12:35Speaker 3: And then we have this stupid like conversation with Cody
- 12:38Speaker 3: being like, well, I don't want to always be the
- 12:41Speaker 3: mediator and like the disciplinarian every time I'm over at
- 12:44Speaker 3: my house like with my kids and stuff. But that's
- 12:47Speaker 3: just kind of how I am because I only spend
- 12:49Speaker 3: a couple of days with each wife or whatever. And
- 12:51Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, but you're also like not present though
- 12:54Speaker 3: in any other aspects, Like you could be more than
- 12:57Speaker 3: the disciplinarian, but that's the only time that you're ever
- 13:00Speaker 3: are really being a parent or being there. Otherwise you're
- 13:03Speaker 3: sitting on your laptop, probably sexting Robin, yeah, on WhatsApp
- 13:07Speaker 3: or something like what are we.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Doing chatting Robin? For sure? Yeah, yeah, I just really
- 13:13Speaker 1: could feel like the vibes of how unfair and inequitable
- 13:18Speaker 1: it is, yeah for Cody versus all of these wives.
- 13:21Speaker 1: But you know, Janelle's hanging in there. Christine is over
- 13:24Speaker 1: as well, and I think they're like trying to practice
- 13:27Speaker 1: their real estate stuff before they meet with Mona the
- 13:31Speaker 1: next day. I don't know what's happening specifically with Mona.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I know what happens in the conversation, but I don't
- 13:35Speaker 1: know why they're meeting. But Janelle and Christine are working
- 13:38Speaker 1: together and a bomb has gone off in Janelle's house
- 13:41Speaker 1: and Cody's not helping, and that was the day in
- 13:44Speaker 1: the life of Janelle.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah lovely, Yeah, right, and then we also had a
- 13:48Speaker 3: conversation about my sister wives closet. I think also at
- 13:50Speaker 3: Janelle's house. Was at Janelle's house, Yeah, it was like
- 13:52Speaker 3: the whole family was there. Is Christine brought her kids over,
- 13:55Speaker 3: well some of her kids, and then Janelle and then
- 13:58Speaker 3: Mary was there, Robin and Cody, and they were talking
- 14:00Speaker 3: about my sister's closet.
- 14:02Speaker 1: So pause because juice, juice, juice, so chat was so juicy.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Just the way Janelle is sitting hiding, Oh my god,
- 14:10Speaker 1: the set of her jaw. Janelle looks a certain way
- 14:13Speaker 1: when she is about to blow. She just gets very expressionless,
- 14:17Speaker 1: very cold faced, and she's just like she's trying to
- 14:20Speaker 1: contemplate whether she should say something or like beat a
- 14:24Speaker 1: bitch down, for sure, and that's how she looked.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Yep, she was pissed because they bring up my sister
- 14:29Speaker 3: Ride's closet. They only made five hundred dollars profit at
- 14:32Speaker 3: the expo, which I'm surprised they even made profit.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I don't believe them.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I don't think it was I don't believe them.
- 14:37Speaker 1: They sold nineteen items just to refresh every yatty, but
- 14:40Speaker 1: they had to drive and therefore used gas to go
- 14:44Speaker 1: from Las Vegas to Saint George. All four of those
- 14:47Speaker 1: women each had their own hotel room. I mean, Cody
- 14:50Speaker 1: could sleep where he wanted, and he slept with Robin.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Of course, they had to carry themselves over there, carry
- 14:57Speaker 1: themselves all the way back. They had to feed themselves
- 14:59Speaker 1: while they're and you don't think you know, that's a
- 15:02Speaker 1: lot of fast food. Yeah, so they were spending a
- 15:05Speaker 1: lot of money, and you're telling me they still made
- 15:08Speaker 1: a five hundred dollar profit. I don't believe it.
- 15:10Speaker 3: No, I think they sold five hundred dollars worth of items,
- 15:14Speaker 3: But when you tally everything else that they had to
- 15:16Speaker 3: spend money on, they're still in the negative.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I'm sure they lost like two thousand dollars.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Absolutely, yes.
- 15:21Speaker 3: And Janelle is just being very frank and very practical, like.
- 15:25Speaker 2: I can't pay my mortgage on this.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I can't even pay.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Like one bill on that when we split it between
- 15:29Speaker 3: the five of us, Like this is stupid. This is
- 15:32Speaker 3: not a viable business. This is a hobby business. Like
- 15:35Speaker 3: I'm not interested in putting any more effort into this,
- 15:39Speaker 3: and then Robin gets triggered.
- 15:41Speaker 1: That's so upset.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 15:42Speaker 3: She's like, but I feel like you're not even putting
- 15:45Speaker 3: any effort, and you're not even trying in this business.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Like what about your plus size clothing? That's your niche, Janelle,
- 15:53Speaker 3: because you're fat as fuck.
- 15:54Speaker 1: That's essentially a gas gasp. That was the first time
- 15:58Speaker 1: I ever heard about a plus size Holy Mormon line. No,
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm like, what are we talking about here? Nobody has
- 16:04Speaker 1: ever mentioned this before, Like apparently they've had some conversations
- 16:08Speaker 1: behind the scenes or whatever, and maybe they bandied about
- 16:11Speaker 1: an idea of like some gym clothes or whatever. Yeah,
- 16:14Speaker 1: but like just throwing that out like that, I'm just
- 16:17Speaker 1: like Robin using yet another opportunity to very covertly and
- 16:22Speaker 1: passively body shame another wife.
- 16:25Speaker 3: She does this all the time, and this is just
- 16:27Speaker 3: what we see on the cameras, Like what is she
- 16:30Speaker 3: saying when the cameras are turned off? Bitch? Like I
- 16:33Speaker 3: just couldn't believe that. And Chano like doesn't even react
- 16:36Speaker 3: to that statement. And then I think Robin calls out
- 16:40Speaker 3: Christine too, like, well, Christine's got to figure it out too,
- 16:43Speaker 3: and Christine's like, I want to focus on a real estate, Like,
- 16:45Speaker 3: I don't want to do this shit. Mary's the only
- 16:48Speaker 3: one that's invested, even Cody.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Who cares though apparently like Mary turns to her, Mary,
- 16:52Speaker 1: the biggest hustler in the family, turns to Robin and
- 16:55Speaker 1: she's like, well, you know, I'm committed though, right, And
- 16:58Speaker 1: Robin's like whatever, yeah, what about you? Yeah?
- 17:02Speaker 3: And then Cody talks about how it feels awkward right
- 17:04Speaker 3: selling the jewelry because he's worried that people are gonna
- 17:06Speaker 3: think that he's picking up a fifth wife. And I'm like,
- 17:09Speaker 3: is that because Robin's worried about you picking up a
- 17:11Speaker 3: fifth wife and that you're flirting? Or do you really
- 17:14Speaker 3: think that you're that desirable?
- 17:16Speaker 1: That's what it is. It's he thinks he is going
- 17:20Speaker 1: to cause women across the world to fall in love
- 17:23Speaker 1: with him if he tries to sell them a ball
- 17:25Speaker 1: sack necklace. He's like, I don't want to do that
- 17:28Speaker 1: to anybody. I don't want to give anybody the wrong impression.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Maybe he's selling it that way, like these are what
- 17:33Speaker 3: my balls look like I have to look forward to.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Oh god. But he's not interested, and you're right. Christine
- 17:41Speaker 1: is like, this is a hobby business and I'm out,
- 17:44Speaker 1: and Robin is just sitting there seething because nobody is
- 17:48Speaker 1: interested in her dumb business idea. Sorry about it.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Sorry, it's hemorrhaging money. It's so fucking bad. And then
- 17:58Speaker 3: we have Janelle and Christine meeting with mo to talk
- 18:00Speaker 3: about the real estate stuff, because Christine is very serious
- 18:03Speaker 3: about it.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Janelle is very serious about us.
- 18:06Speaker 1: What apparently though, they had to like read some stuff
- 18:10Speaker 1: before they got there, like Mona had given them a packet.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Maybe they're trying to come on to like Mona. No,
- 18:19Speaker 1: maybe they're trying to actually come into Mona's brokerage or
- 18:22Speaker 1: like join Mona's team. But it sounds like Mona gave
- 18:25Speaker 1: them a packet they needed to read it, and so
- 18:28Speaker 1: Mona immediately asks them, did you read the shit I
- 18:32Speaker 1: gave you to read? And it looks like Janelle did,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and Christine's like, no, I don't have time for that. Yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 1: absolutely don't have any time for that. No, I did
- 18:38Speaker 1: not read it.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Don't have time at all.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Christine's not serious about anything, And when we get to
- 18:44Speaker 1: her part where she's bitching it Cody. We'll talk about
- 18:46Speaker 1: it a little bit more. But I'm like, okay, well,
- 18:48Speaker 1: what are you willing to put your energy into.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Yeah, she kind of frustrated me because she spent all
- 18:53Speaker 3: this time on the real estate license and didn't she
- 18:55Speaker 3: fail the first time and she had to do it again.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so she spent all this.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Money on this real estate business, studying for it, the
- 19:02Speaker 3: examine everything you go talk to. Mona's like, yeah, sometimes
- 19:06Speaker 3: it's really busy in real estate. Like I've literally had
- 19:09Speaker 3: to work the last six weekends in a row. I
- 19:11Speaker 3: have not had a break, Like it's been busy. And
- 19:14Speaker 3: Christine's like, oh my god, I can't do that, Like
- 19:17Speaker 3: my kids need me and I can't be working that much.
- 19:20Speaker 1: And then Janelle is like, but I can, Like I'll
- 19:23Speaker 1: just give you all my kids, Christine, if you're cool
- 19:25Speaker 1: with that, I can work every weekend. I can work
- 19:27Speaker 1: out every evening. Like if I could just get out
- 19:29Speaker 1: of this fucking family for one night, for what night?
- 19:33Speaker 2: Please?
- 19:33Speaker 1: She's very much willing to do it. But on the couch,
- 19:36Speaker 1: Christine says something like when Mona said that that she
- 19:40Speaker 1: had been working the last six weekends, like I didn't
- 19:43Speaker 1: hear anything else that she said. My god, I mean,
- 19:45Speaker 1: like I could not even stay connected to the conversation
- 19:48Speaker 1: because that does not work for me. I've got little babies,
- 19:52Speaker 1: and she does sure little kids and they need me.
- 19:56Speaker 1: And we've seen her complain previously that she's not being
- 20:00Speaker 1: supported like she's supported every other mother in the family.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Nobody's supporting her now that she's living I don't know
- 20:06Speaker 1: a mile away, and so there's just no way that
- 20:08Speaker 1: she can do it. And I can appreciate that, but
- 20:11Speaker 1: she just seems so flighty to me. Yet she gets
- 20:13Speaker 1: super interested in this new thing and then it doesn't
- 20:16Speaker 1: work out perfectly the first time, and then she's onto
- 20:19Speaker 1: the next thing.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it just kind of frustrated me because I'm like,
- 20:22Speaker 3: you spent all of this time and energy studying for
- 20:24Speaker 3: your real estate. You're telling Robin that you don't want
- 20:26Speaker 3: to be involved in her dumb business because you want
- 20:28Speaker 3: to do real estate, and then you realize that it's
- 20:30Speaker 3: going to actually take some work, and now you're like, oh,
- 20:33Speaker 3: my god, I can't do that, absolutely not. And it's
- 20:35Speaker 3: like frustrating because real estate, once you get into a
- 20:37Speaker 3: certain point, you can make your own hours. So like Christine,
- 20:40Speaker 3: you can maybe grind a little bit so you can
- 20:42Speaker 3: make money for your family because nobody else is working
- 20:45Speaker 3: right now. M m. But she's not willing to do that.
- 20:48Speaker 3: And I get it, she's got the kids and stuff, but.
- 20:50Speaker 1: It just annoyed me because she also has TLC.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess, but.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I think that's all she's doing. I think that's all
- 20:58Speaker 1: Robin's doing except for her My Sister thing, which is
- 21:00Speaker 1: a flop and a failure, wasting money. I think Mary
- 21:03Speaker 1: is doing the network marketing thing with Cody. I think
- 21:06Speaker 1: they're doing that, but I don't think Christine's or Robin
- 21:09Speaker 1: is doing anything else.
- 21:10Speaker 2: No.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Well, and in Christine's defense, she's mothering all these other.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Kids like Robin's got any Robin's defense, does she have
- 21:16Speaker 1: a nanny right now?
- 21:17Speaker 3: I think she's got her sister that's watching her kids
- 21:19Speaker 3: right right now.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Season six Okay, I haven't seen her. I don't think
- 21:22Speaker 1: maybe earlier, remember.
- 21:24Speaker 3: In our older recaps it's been a minute, okay, but yeah,
- 21:27Speaker 3: she still has her sister right now watching her kids
- 21:29Speaker 3: and stuff. So Robin ain't doing nothing, no, except sucking
- 21:33Speaker 3: Cody off.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Oh wow, miss Beatrice, I know the.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Got ready we warned you.
- 21:42Speaker 3: And then also in this conversation with Mona and Janelle
- 21:45Speaker 3: and Christine, Mona breaks it to them that there's going
- 21:48Speaker 3: to be a delay in the construction of their homes
- 21:53Speaker 3: because people keep going to the building site and keep
- 21:57Speaker 3: making changes and adding new things or taking shit away,
- 22:00Speaker 3: and it's delaying.
- 22:02Speaker 2: The construction of everybody's homes.
- 22:04Speaker 3: In addition to that, apparently some people ain't turning in
- 22:07Speaker 3: they're fucking paperwork for the financing. And those people are
- 22:10Speaker 3: Cody and Robin and Mary. Yep. But Christina and Janelle
- 22:13Speaker 3: got their shit together. They got their paperwork ready.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Right, Their loan is good to go, so their homes
- 22:19Speaker 1: are ready to be built, but they can't be built
- 22:21Speaker 1: because once again Cody told the builder to build Robin's first,
- 22:25Speaker 1: Mary's second. And it's Robin and Mary who can't get
- 22:28Speaker 1: the loan at this point for whatever reason. And they're
- 22:33Speaker 1: the ones that continue to go to the building site
- 22:35Speaker 1: and walk through and waste everybody's time and talk about
- 22:40Speaker 1: windows and I want this here, and I don't know
- 22:42Speaker 1: if I like that door there, asking for changes, delaying construction,
- 22:46Speaker 1: which means it's all going to trickle downhill. Yeah, it's
- 22:49Speaker 1: going to delay construction for Mary if Robin's doing it.
- 22:51Speaker 1: If Mary's doing it, it's going to delay construction for Janelle.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And that's how it goes, right, It's Robin first, Mary second,
- 22:58Speaker 1: then Janelle gets her house, then Christie gets the house.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:01Speaker 1: And when they're all talking about this on the couch,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I'm like, wow, Christine, you were hoping you would be
- 23:07Speaker 1: able to have some sort of priority, some sort of
- 23:09Speaker 1: status as the third wife when there's four, But nope,
- 23:12Speaker 1: you just stayed in the basement.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Honey.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Robin came to the top and you're still at
- 23:16Speaker 1: the bottom. You get the last slot.
- 23:18Speaker 3: And it makes no fucking sense.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Not fair.
- 23:21Speaker 3: The two women who have the most kids who are
- 23:24Speaker 3: really itching to get in before Christmas. They have the
- 23:27Speaker 3: majority of the family. And I'm not saying that like
- 23:29Speaker 3: Mary's kid's invalid or Robin's kids are invalid, but like
- 23:32Speaker 3: they have the majority of the kids and they have
- 23:34Speaker 3: to be the last ones to be built. That's wild
- 23:37Speaker 3: to me, especially when Mary and Cody and Robin are
- 23:40Speaker 3: all having.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Issues with their financing.
- 23:42Speaker 3: And I was like looking this shit up on Reddit
- 23:43Speaker 3: because I'm like, what the fuck, Like, what is going
- 23:45Speaker 3: on with all this shit. Apparently later in this season,
- 23:49Speaker 3: Mary's house is the one that's delayed, so everybody else
- 23:52Speaker 3: gets in before Christmas. Mary's is the one that's delayed
- 23:55Speaker 3: because she keeps making fucking changes and then she like
- 23:59Speaker 3: sobs uncontrollable because she's disappointing Leon and Leon's super upset
- 24:03Speaker 3: because Mary promised Leon over and over again, I'm gonna
- 24:07Speaker 3: get you in before Christmas, and she fucking does it
- 24:09Speaker 3: because it's her own fault.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Oh my god, really yes suh? So does that mean
- 24:13Speaker 1: that at some point, because she's making all of these changes,
- 24:16Speaker 1: they just skip over her and go to Janelle and
- 24:18Speaker 1: be like, Janelle's good to go, We're gonna be wow.
- 24:21Speaker 3: And I think the issues with the paperwork people were
- 24:23Speaker 3: theorizing on Reddit is because Mary and Cody are the
- 24:26Speaker 3: ones with the legal marriage and so they technically have
- 24:28Speaker 3: to be like on all of these properties, so they
- 24:31Speaker 3: have a lot of fucking paperwork, and people were talking
- 24:34Speaker 3: about like how it doesn't make sense that Mary would
- 24:36Speaker 3: not have her paperwork ready because she's a Capricorn and
- 24:38Speaker 3: she's Ainal and she's like, I gotta get everything done organized.
- 24:42Speaker 3: So it's probably Cody Yeah, dragging his fucking feet on
- 24:45Speaker 3: all of the paperwork. And like in the conversation that
- 24:48Speaker 3: they have later with the rest of the family, Cody's
- 24:51Speaker 3: got this smile on his face, like it doesn't bother
- 24:53Speaker 3: him that they're delaying this construction of the home because
- 24:57Speaker 3: they're just sitting around not filling out their paperwork. It's crazy.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Well, fast forward to season nineteen and you've got him
- 25:02Speaker 1: out in Coyote Pass dragging his heels. There's absolutely a
- 25:06Speaker 1: power play. It's a way that he can continue to
- 25:09Speaker 1: exert control. But I just don't know why you would
- 25:11Speaker 1: want to do that when everybody's wanting to get into
- 25:14Speaker 1: these Oh I know it makes no sense, but like,
- 25:17Speaker 1: but Mary doesn't have to be on the deeds to
- 25:20Speaker 1: all these other homes, right just because Cody, and even
- 25:24Speaker 1: was Cody on Janelle's deed, for example, was Cody on Christine's.
- 25:30Speaker 1: To me, it would be that the women were financing
- 25:32Speaker 1: it on their own without Cody. Cody was financing with
- 25:36Speaker 1: Mary because that's his legal wife, and Cody's bringing his
- 25:39Speaker 1: bad credit and all of his problems into that loan.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not sure. Some people on Reddit were saying
- 25:44Speaker 3: that I think Mary had to be on for Robin's
- 25:47Speaker 3: because Robin had such shit credit and so they Cody
- 25:50Speaker 3: and Mary had to probably co sign or something.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I don't know. This is all.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Reddit stuff, so take it with a grass sal but
- 25:56Speaker 3: like that's probably what the hold up is. And because
- 26:00Speaker 3: these three can't be fucking adults. I mean, Mary is
- 26:03Speaker 3: probably trying to get it organized, but she's just sitting
- 26:05Speaker 3: there keeping sweet and being quiet and not saying anything.
- 26:08Speaker 3: But Janelle and Christine have their shit together and they're
- 26:11Speaker 3: just sitting there waiting around. That would frustrate the fuck
- 26:14Speaker 3: out me out of all.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Oh well, and it does frustrate Christine because after they
- 26:18Speaker 1: meet with Mona, both Janelle and Christine go outside and
- 26:21Speaker 1: they're like in the parking lot and Christine's like.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I'm pissed.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I'm good to go, I'm ready to rock.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I want to get my kids into these homes by Christmas,
- 26:28Speaker 1: and I gotta wait on these two broke ass losers,
- 26:31Speaker 1: you know, keep going to the job site and delaying
- 26:34Speaker 1: shit with their incessant requests for changes. Like Mary, A
- 26:39Speaker 1: lot of this stuff, I mean, maybe not structural stuff,
- 26:41Speaker 1: maybe not doorways. I don't know what she's changing. But
- 26:43Speaker 1: like a lot of this stuff, you can do post construction.
- 26:46Speaker 1: You could have put that wet bar in post construction.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You could have switched out those doors, put in your
- 26:52Speaker 1: French doors post construction. You don't have to delay everybody's
- 26:57Speaker 1: fantasy of the cult tostact just because that's why she's
- 26:59Speaker 1: spoiled yep. That's why she's spoiled one.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Yep. And that's when I was reading all the scenes
- 27:07Speaker 3: or people talking about the scenes where she's crying because
- 27:10Speaker 3: she can't get in before Christmas and she's disappointing Leon
- 27:14Speaker 3: and it's like, well, you done did it to your.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Fucking self, sorry about it?
- 27:18Speaker 3: Like sorry, cry harder, Like I can't wait till we
- 27:21Speaker 3: get to that up me too. And then we have
- 27:25Speaker 3: Christine's day with Cody and they're in the bed and
- 27:28Speaker 3: Cody looks so happy to be there.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Cody does not look happy to be there. And honestly,
- 27:36Speaker 1: if Christine is jealous at this point of Robin's and
- 27:40Speaker 1: the other wives, which she is, and if Christine kind
- 27:43Speaker 1: of wants to reconnect with Cody, then I don't know
- 27:48Speaker 1: why she wouldn't want to be kind of a soft
- 27:51Speaker 1: place for him to Land, Yeah, maybe kind of look
- 27:55Speaker 1: at what Robin does that works for her. I mean,
- 27:58Speaker 1: believe me, I hate Robin and I hate Cody, and
- 28:01Speaker 1: I don't want Christine to change anything about herself. But
- 28:03Speaker 1: if that's her goal is to have a connection with Cody,
- 28:07Speaker 1: like check out what Robin is doing that's working for her,
- 28:10Speaker 1: and maybe don't make it such a pain in the
- 28:12Speaker 1: ass every time Cody comes over. Because they're sitting in
- 28:14Speaker 1: the bed and Christine is talking in this very animated
- 28:19Speaker 1: and energetically obtrusive manner to Cody and she's just and
- 28:23Speaker 1: he's just lying there trying to chill out. Yeah, and
- 28:25Speaker 1: she's just like, you know, yeah, I don't think I
- 28:27Speaker 1: can be a real estate agent because I've got kids,
- 28:30Speaker 1: and I spent the last two years just being a
- 28:33Speaker 1: staind old mom and I just want to be a
- 28:34Speaker 1: mom more than I want to be a real estate agent.
- 28:37Speaker 1: And Cody says something benign like yeah, like if you
- 28:40Speaker 1: don't want to work, then you shouldn't have to work,
- 28:42Speaker 1: or if you want to work, work yeah, and then
- 28:45Speaker 1: Christine gets upset.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:48Speaker 3: It was kind of weird. It seemed like they edited
- 28:49Speaker 3: some of this out too, like it was kind of
- 28:52Speaker 3: chopped up together because then Cody says something like you're
- 28:54Speaker 3: making drama out of nothing, right, and she's like, we'll
- 28:57Speaker 3: forget about how I feel. And it's like this whole thing,
- 29:00Speaker 3: and I'm like, what really happened there? Because I think
- 29:04Speaker 3: this scene is like indicative of their larger issue, which
- 29:07Speaker 3: is that Cody just doesn't fucking like Christine at all
- 29:10Speaker 3: and doesn't care about her feeling.
- 29:11Speaker 1: And she's hard to be around and she's always bitching
- 29:14Speaker 1: and she always wants more well.
- 29:16Speaker 3: And but that also might be a symptom of the
- 29:18Speaker 3: fact that Cody just doesn't give a fuck about her.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Like when you're with somebody who doesn't care and like
- 29:23Speaker 3: never is involved in your life and treats you like
- 29:25Speaker 3: the basement wife because you are the basement wife.
- 29:27Speaker 1: It's like, give him a chance to care, like make
- 29:29Speaker 1: it a nice place to be, Like he doesn't biting
- 29:32Speaker 1: the entire time and he doesn't care, but like what
- 29:34Speaker 1: does he care about? Then? What are interests? I don't know,
- 29:37Speaker 1: Like I feel like that's my inner misogyny coming out
- 29:40Speaker 1: or something like how can we like make Cody happy?
- 29:42Speaker 1: It's not that it's just Christine piped out Yeah, very negative.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Yea.
- 29:47Speaker 1: And what you're doing is just bitching and he's just
- 29:49Speaker 1: lying on the bed. He seems tired. You got your baby,
- 29:52Speaker 1: couldn't you talk about something else? Sure, you guys can connect. Yeah,
- 29:56Speaker 1: but she has him for like one night a week.
- 29:59Speaker 1: She's got a lot feelings in that airy's body. Yep.
- 30:02Speaker 1: She wants to off gas, and so she just starts
- 30:04Speaker 1: going off and it's too much for him. And I
- 30:06Speaker 1: can see it's too much for him.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Yep, and that's the problem. Like she doesn't get to
- 30:10Speaker 3: have him the rest of the week, and so the
- 30:13Speaker 3: one evening she gets to have him. And we know
- 30:15Speaker 3: now from season nineteen and everything, he came over at
- 30:18Speaker 3: five pm and then left at seven am the next day,
- 30:21Speaker 3: so it's not like she had a lot of time
- 30:22Speaker 3: with him, right. He comes over already tired because he's
- 30:25Speaker 3: been banging Robin all day, and so now he has
- 30:28Speaker 3: to deal with Christine who's just like totally.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Emotionally starved, way too much.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yeah, she's a lot because she doesn't get anything from him.
- 30:37Speaker 3: That's my opinion on it. Like I get Christine's annoying.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Because she is.
- 30:41Speaker 1: She really is so annoying to me. And I have
- 30:44Speaker 1: sympathy for her and empathy for her, and I literally
- 30:47Speaker 1: hate Cody Brown. Yeah, but like in these earlier years,
- 30:50Speaker 1: I can see him. I can look at his face,
- 30:52Speaker 1: I can see him trying to keep it together. Obviously
- 30:56Speaker 1: he's so in love with Robins. Yeah, he loves everything
- 30:59Speaker 1: about Robin. Robin is the only one who gets a
- 31:02Speaker 1: date out of all these wives, the other wives. When
- 31:06Speaker 1: we're a day in the life of the other Wives,
- 31:08Speaker 1: it's like going to the gym, going for a jog
- 31:11Speaker 1: with our kids. Yeah, Like Garrison's beating the shit out
- 31:15Speaker 1: of Gabe and then we go to Robin and it's
- 31:17Speaker 1: like all good things. Plus she gets a date and
- 31:20Speaker 1: a date. Yeah, Cod But like I feel like he's
- 31:24Speaker 1: he's still at this point believing in the vision of
- 31:27Speaker 1: the family, and I just I don't know, I think
- 31:31Speaker 1: he is for the show. Everybody's annoying. Everyone is annoying, exception.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Yeah, And honestly, let me just say, Cody on Christine's
- 31:40Speaker 3: bedding decorations are, oh.
- 31:41Speaker 1: My god, the red.
- 31:43Speaker 2: It's awful.
- 31:44Speaker 1: This sexy red boudoir that.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Never gets sexy time, never ever, once a year on
- 31:51Speaker 3: her birthday.
- 31:52Speaker 2: It's embarrassing. And then we go over to Robin's house.
- 31:55Speaker 3: We start with King Saul sleeping in Cody and Robin's
- 31:59Speaker 3: bed and the purple sheets of Royalty. Aurora's being a
- 32:03Speaker 3: little twat.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I mean, she's being loud, but I mean she's a kid,
- 32:06Speaker 1: she's a tweet.
- 32:07Speaker 3: I know, she's being annoying playing piano while Saul is
- 32:10Speaker 3: trying to sleep.
- 32:11Speaker 2: We kind of see Robin come.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Out a little bit telling Aurora to shut the fuck
- 32:15Speaker 3: up a little and so it's kind of interesting because
- 32:17Speaker 3: she's playing this off for the camera, but I feel
- 32:19Speaker 3: like Robin is like militant.
- 32:21Speaker 1: At home probably.
- 32:23Speaker 3: And then we have Mona coming over to talk to
- 32:25Speaker 3: the entire family about the fact that the houses are
- 32:29Speaker 3: gonna get delayed, and I like Mona here because she's
- 32:32Speaker 3: calling everybody out. She calls Mary out for going to
- 32:34Speaker 3: the site multiple times a fucking day.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Well, I have to scrap books, so I want to
- 32:39Speaker 1: take pictures of every day, everything that's happening each day,
- 32:43Speaker 1: because this is my forever home. Meanwhile, five years later, yep,
- 32:46Speaker 1: you're moving to Flagstaff.
- 32:47Speaker 3: They can't recer the financing yet, Moore, Yeah, bullshit. And
- 32:51Speaker 3: then she calls Robin out for not getting her debt
- 32:54Speaker 3: paperwork figured out.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Robin is just sitting there quiet because she knows she's
- 32:59Speaker 1: a albatros. She's she knows she's an anvil around the
- 33:04Speaker 1: neck of this family. She brought so much debt into
- 33:06Speaker 1: this family. They had to pay off this debt. Sounds
- 33:09Speaker 1: like Robin is on the phone every single day trying
- 33:12Speaker 1: to mediate her debt.
- 33:13Speaker 2: No, she ain't.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Well, she's supposed to, because Mona's telling her like, are
- 33:17Speaker 1: you talking to these collectors? Are you like asking them
- 33:21Speaker 1: to forgive this or what are you doing? You got
- 33:23Speaker 1: to do it every single day. You got to do
- 33:25Speaker 1: it in writing. And Robin's like, okay, I will. No,
- 33:28Speaker 1: then she's not.
- 33:28Speaker 3: She's not doing shit, dude, except for going on a
- 33:31Speaker 3: repelling date with Cloning. Right. It's wild and so oh.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Before this though, we have a conversation with Janelle and
- 33:38Speaker 3: Robin after the whole Mona talk. Oh okay, yeah, And
- 33:41Speaker 3: Janelle comes to Robin is like, yeah, you know what,
- 33:43Speaker 3: I'm sorry for being harsh the other day. You know what,
- 33:46Speaker 3: I had an epiphany? Did she I should be more
- 33:49Speaker 3: involved in my sisters classed?
- 33:50Speaker 1: Do you think she had an epiphany?
- 33:52Speaker 2: No?
- 33:53Speaker 1: What do you think happened.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I think she's thinking, I gotta make money, so I'm
- 33:56Speaker 3: gonna try and do this.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Oh, I think she's thinking. I think Cody talks to her.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I think she's thinking she's got to do this because
- 34:04Speaker 1: Cody berated her. Because remember the first time everybody sat
- 34:08Speaker 1: down and Robin was so unhappy and calling out Janelle
- 34:11Speaker 1: about my sister wife's closet. They asked what Cody needed
- 34:15Speaker 1: to do, what his role should be, and Robin said,
- 34:18Speaker 1: just support what we're doing. Yeah, support me, advocate for
- 34:22Speaker 1: me with these bitches. That's what I felt like she
- 34:24Speaker 1: was saying. So I think after that first meeting from
- 34:27Speaker 1: this episode, Robin and Cody had some kind of a
- 34:30Speaker 1: conversation in which she said, you better get Janelle in
- 34:33Speaker 1: order she's to be a part of this in order
- 34:36Speaker 1: for it to work. That's how you can help, bitch.
- 34:39Speaker 1: And so then Cody runs and talks to Janelle and says,
- 34:42Speaker 1: you got to do something. You have to be a
- 34:43Speaker 1: part of this. And then we have the scene where
- 34:46Speaker 1: Janelle comes cap in hand over to Robin and says
- 34:51Speaker 1: she has an epiphany and oh my god, yeah, I'm
- 34:53Speaker 1: making plus size Mormon modest clothing sounds so perfect. The
- 34:58Speaker 1: business ideas out of these people are the worst.
- 35:01Speaker 2: They are the worst.
- 35:02Speaker 3: But like, you know what, though clothing would have been fine,
- 35:05Speaker 3: like they could have totally made but like Mormon modest
- 35:10Speaker 3: clothing for everybody. I feel like people would have bought
- 35:12Speaker 3: that stuff, especially with their sister Wives logo and everything like.
- 35:14Speaker 3: It probably would have been better than this stupid, ugly jewelry.
- 35:18Speaker 3: But does Janelle actually make plus size clothing because I
- 35:21Speaker 3: don't remember my sister ized closet selling any of that.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I certainly wasn't like present during these seasons when they
- 35:28Speaker 1: were airing.
- 35:29Speaker 2: I was ten, but in.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Red okay, bitch, but in retrospect, like having looked back
- 35:35Speaker 1: at all, like the reddits and the rewinds, I don't
- 35:39Speaker 1: think I ever saw any clothing like this, But it
- 35:42Speaker 1: sounds like it's a line of clothing that they had
- 35:44Speaker 1: discussed plus size Holy Line, plus size Stretch Mark Line.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Oh my god, I hate it.
- 35:54Speaker 1: So she's like, oh my god, I'm so excited about
- 35:56Speaker 1: it now, and I think I need to absolutely engage.
- 35:59Speaker 1: But I wanted to be powered by women. Yeah, I
- 36:01Speaker 1: don't think we should ask Cody to do anything. I
- 36:04Speaker 1: don't think Cody wants to do anything. That's because Cody
- 36:07Speaker 1: talked to Janelle and said, would you just tell Robin
- 36:10Speaker 1: I don't want to I don't want to be a
- 36:12Speaker 1: part of this at all.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I mean he really shouldn't be.
- 36:14Speaker 1: No nobody needs Cody for And so Janelle tells Robin like,
- 36:18Speaker 1: I think it should just be women empowered by women.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I think we can do this, And Robin is so happy.
- 36:24Speaker 1: She is ecstatic, smiling from joh to John.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Daddy's on fuld of day.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Sorry, he's brimming.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Oh my god. But then Robin also asks Janelle, Okay,
- 36:37Speaker 3: now that you're on board and Mary's on board, how
- 36:39Speaker 3: the fuck do I get Christine's bitch ass to be
- 36:41Speaker 3: on board with this dumb business? And Janelle's like, don't
- 36:44Speaker 3: fucking invite her to any of the boring shit. Let
- 36:47Speaker 3: her be a loud mouth, crazy person, let her sell things,
- 36:50Speaker 3: Invite her to the fun stuff, and she'll be on board.
- 36:53Speaker 3: But like, don't make her go to the meetings, don't
- 36:55Speaker 3: make her do any of the business shit.
- 36:57Speaker 2: She'll get bored.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Yeah, if she feels like it's a chore, she's not
- 37:00Speaker 1: going to do it. Equals Christine doesn't do the hard things.
- 37:04Speaker 3: She does well, but I mean she does do the
- 37:06Speaker 3: hard things.
- 37:07Speaker 1: She has raised the children. Yeah, that's all terms of
- 37:09Speaker 1: like business endeavors and this like multiple streams of income
- 37:13Speaker 1: that they seem to be into. Like Christine's not about it.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Which is kind of interesting because flash forward to now,
- 37:19Speaker 3: she's talking about how she's always wanted to be a
- 37:22Speaker 3: boss woman, she's always wanted.
- 37:23Speaker 2: To be making her own money.
- 37:25Speaker 3: She always wanted to be independent and do all these
- 37:27Speaker 3: things and the family wouldn't let her.
- 37:30Speaker 1: So well, maybe what is it in subsequent seasons, Maybe
- 37:33Speaker 1: she's going to come to the Mormon conference table and
- 37:37Speaker 1: present her ideas, but like as of right now, I'm
- 37:39Speaker 1: not seeing any she doesn't want to do it, nor
- 37:42Speaker 1: like a desire to work hard for these businesses.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Well, and I mean, to be honest, I wouldn't want
- 37:46Speaker 3: to work hard for this business at all.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Just despite Robin straight out as they hate Robin.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Maybe that's why she's doing that, just because she's stealing means,
- 37:54Speaker 3: maybe that's.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Why she's doing that because Christine is still the basement
- 37:59Speaker 1: why energetically and actually and so Robin is now in
- 38:03Speaker 1: the process of being elevated. Yeah, as the ascendant as
- 38:07Speaker 1: the pre eminent wife. So absolutely, I'm gonna fuck your
- 38:10Speaker 1: shit up. I'm gonna sabotage you.
- 38:12Speaker 2: I kind of love that, honestly, me too.
- 38:14Speaker 3: I know it's hell a petty, but I would do
- 38:16Speaker 3: the tag team Christie yep. And then we have Robin
- 38:20Speaker 3: and Cody's stupid date where they go repelling.
- 38:22Speaker 2: And I can't just say, what.
- 38:27Speaker 1: This poor guy who takes him out to some whatever
- 38:30Speaker 1: to go mind do some mountain faces and stuff. But like, immediately, yep,
- 38:35Speaker 1: we have to launch into I'm a polygament. I'm a
- 38:41Speaker 1: martyr for the cause, and it's hard being me, and
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm like, not everybody.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Wants to hear about it, No, nobody cares.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Everybody needs to have the fucking dissertation on Mormonism and
- 38:52Speaker 1: polygamy from you.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Yep. But we're gonna have so much of that in
- 38:55Speaker 3: these earlier seasons because that was like their whole brand
- 38:58Speaker 3: was that they were the martyrs. They escaped U Tah,
- 39:01Speaker 3: they escape the law and everything so they could live
- 39:03Speaker 3: their beautiful polygamous life that just completely is.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Ruined in ten years. Well, yeah, it's crazy.
- 39:10Speaker 3: And then we have Robin talking about their date and
- 39:13Speaker 3: she's like, you know, there's a part of me that
- 39:16Speaker 3: worries a little bit once we get into these homes
- 39:19Speaker 3: that me and Cody are going to lose out on
- 39:21Speaker 3: our focus time and then we're going to have to
- 39:24Speaker 3: establish rules and boundaries and figure out a balance with
- 39:28Speaker 3: everybody making sure they got their time.
- 39:30Speaker 2: I thought that was really.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Interesting she brings that up that she's worried about losing
- 39:35Speaker 3: out on her focus time, as if she's not getting
- 39:37Speaker 3: all the focused time right now right.
- 39:39Speaker 1: And this is the segment, not during the date, but
- 39:42Speaker 1: like when we're spending the day with Robin, this is
- 39:44Speaker 1: the time where she talks about how she and her
- 39:47Speaker 1: kids have never had it this goodm h. And so
- 39:50Speaker 1: they're actually pretty happy. And she's wondering what it's actually
- 39:54Speaker 1: going to be like when she has to integrate into
- 39:58Speaker 1: the family, because she acknowledges that we've like only semi integrated. Yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 1: and so who knows what it's actually going to look
- 40:04Speaker 1: like when we have to all share a call to
- 40:06Speaker 1: sac and be around each other. Like, how's that going
- 40:08Speaker 1: to impact me? Though? Because I'm the main character. But
- 40:11Speaker 1: she's definitely worried about how Cody's going to be showing
- 40:14Speaker 1: up in their relationship once he has proximity to the
- 40:17Speaker 1: rest of his families. Yeah, which is interesting because they
- 40:21Speaker 1: led us to believe early on and throughout that she
- 40:24Speaker 1: just wanted to facilitate that. Uh huh, I'm just here
- 40:27Speaker 1: to be a part of that. That's all they really wants.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Sit in my rocking chair on my porge with my sister.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Wal I know.
- 40:37Speaker 3: But here she is worried about her focus time and
- 40:39Speaker 3: she talks about this date, like how they don't go
- 40:42Speaker 3: on dates very often. She's like, this is my first
- 40:44Speaker 3: date without King Solomon, Like I don't know, three times
- 40:48Speaker 3: this year or something like that. She had three dates
- 40:51Speaker 3: without Solomon this year, in addition to other dates that
- 40:54Speaker 3: she's taken Solomon on. Right, Like, you're dating Cody a lot.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I don't think any of these other You think Christine's
- 40:59Speaker 1: going out on dates absolutely finding absolutely truly in the
- 41:04Speaker 1: high chair, No, she's not. Do you think Janelle even
- 41:07Speaker 1: wants to go on a date with Cody? Mary would
- 41:10Speaker 1: love to and she has to go to Mexico. Yeah,
- 41:14Speaker 1: the anniversary they did go to that fancy restaurant or
- 41:16Speaker 1: whatever in Utah, But like, none of these women go
- 41:19Speaker 1: on dates. It's just Robin, it is Christine wants to
- 41:23Speaker 1: stick it to her.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Of course I would do this. Bitches sitting there making
- 41:28Speaker 3: out with Cody watching the sunset in the.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Mouth, but he needs to see that.
- 41:31Speaker 2: No, absolutely not now.
- 41:34Speaker 3: And then we have Mary's Day and it.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Starts about it.
- 41:40Speaker 3: I kind of zoned out at this point because it
- 41:42Speaker 3: starts with Mary waking up Leon at fucking four twenty
- 41:47Speaker 3: in the morning to go running outside because Leon wants
- 41:50Speaker 3: to run.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Leon ain't ever happy about anything. You notice that about Leon.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Leon's always got an attitude. Yep. Yeah, So they go
- 41:57Speaker 3: running four to twenty in the morning because they do
- 41:59Speaker 3: the before Leon's seminary class, which is also before school,
- 42:04Speaker 3: which is just crazy. If I was that age, dude,
- 42:08Speaker 3: you couldn't even get me up to go to school,
- 42:10Speaker 3: like I was a bitch, Like, don't talk.
- 42:12Speaker 1: To Leon had a vision.
- 42:13Speaker 3: I know. Leon was on a trajectory, wanted to be
- 42:16Speaker 3: a doctor and wanted to live plural marriage.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Oh how the turns have tabled.
- 42:22Speaker 3: It's kind of funny, Yah, watching these earlier seasons, I'm like, damn,
- 42:26Speaker 3: I wonder if they watch themselves on these earlier seasons,
- 42:29Speaker 3: and like cringe because I would.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I definitely would, gosh.
- 42:33Speaker 3: And then we have Cody coming over, I guess briefly
- 42:39Speaker 3: for like the morning coffee or something.
- 42:41Speaker 1: And they're talking about how the time that they spend
- 42:45Speaker 1: together at Mary's rental is actually super beneficial for their
- 42:50Speaker 1: er because they get to be alone. And Cody's like, yeah,
- 42:54Speaker 1: we get to focus on the fun things. I'm like,
- 42:57Speaker 1: what fun things? They no fun thing, very no, six tough,
- 43:01Speaker 1: there's nothing fun that's happening between them. It's really awkward.
- 43:04Speaker 2: It is very awkward.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Hearing them talk about their own relationship at this point.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Well, and they do mention that prior to going to Vegas,
- 43:11Speaker 3: they were in a rough time, like they were actually struggling,
- 43:15Speaker 3: and now they're kind of on the up and up
- 43:16Speaker 3: a little bit, and that it's been really nice to
- 43:19Speaker 3: have this time together and they've been working on their relationship,
- 43:22Speaker 3: which I don't.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Believe at all.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Yeah, press x to doubt yep.
- 43:25Speaker 3: And I think Cody's comment about focusing on the fun
- 43:28Speaker 3: things was Lokia dig because he's called Mary boring in
- 43:32Speaker 3: these current seasons. Oh okay, yeah, so I'm like, okay,
- 43:37Speaker 3: you don't think she's fun?
- 43:38Speaker 2: You don't think she's exciting.
- 43:40Speaker 3: You think she's mean. At this point, you melted down
- 43:42Speaker 3: her ring. Yes, you don't give a fuck about Mary.
- 43:44Speaker 3: And that's why she's the last segment.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Yeah, because and there's nothing going on. No, he's walking
- 43:50Speaker 1: into the house and Christmas has exploded in the living
- 43:52Speaker 1: room and they're all decorating and stuff, and it just
- 43:55Speaker 1: feels like he's very out of place there. But she's
- 43:59Speaker 1: so grateful for his presence and so ingratiating. Yeah, it's like, oh, God, Mary,
- 44:05Speaker 1: you should have been gone season six.
- 44:07Speaker 2: You should have been god season on one hundred Bird.
- 44:09Speaker 1: I feel bad for you.
- 44:10Speaker 2: I do too.
- 44:12Speaker 3: And then we have the whole family going to look
- 44:14Speaker 3: at the houses again and they're worried about if they're
- 44:16Speaker 3: gonna make it in before Christmas, and I just feel
- 44:19Speaker 3: like this is gonna be the next several episodes. Yes,
- 44:22Speaker 3: just worrying and getting down to the wire. I think
- 44:24Speaker 3: they do get down to the wire, like they sign
- 44:26Speaker 3: the paperwork and stuff in December, and that's why Mary
- 44:30Speaker 3: doesn't get in before Christmas, because I think hers is
- 44:32Speaker 3: like right before, like they signed paperwork on like the
- 44:35Speaker 3: twenty first or something, and it's like a weekend and
- 44:38Speaker 3: so that's why she can't get in and then she
- 44:40Speaker 3: cries about it.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I love that, you know what. I literally can't wait
- 44:44Speaker 1: for that.
- 44:44Speaker 3: I can't wait to rose Mary for it because it's
- 44:46Speaker 3: gonna be her fault. Yeah, because the preview. Let's get
- 44:50Speaker 3: to the preview.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:51Speaker 3: For next week's episode, Mary has a fucking issue with
- 44:54Speaker 3: her house again, like it's another problem. It's probably gonna
- 44:58Speaker 3: be something super mundane and stupid. And then we have
- 45:01Speaker 3: the Leon going on a college tour in Salt.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Lake City and nobody cares.
- 45:07Speaker 3: We have Michelti getting accepted into a college program because
- 45:11Speaker 3: she's in high school.
- 45:12Speaker 2: She's gone through some.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Smart kid program or something. She's talking to college boys,
- 45:18Speaker 3: and Christine thinks she's got a problem on her hands
- 45:21Speaker 3: with mckelt.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Well, I'm just trying to think back, because I think
- 45:26Speaker 1: I picked up with Sister Wives around the time that
- 45:30Speaker 1: McKelty was in Saint George working at the pawn shop,
- 45:34Speaker 1: and that's around the time she met too many tacos Tony,
- 45:37Speaker 1: oh God, and they started dating. Then immediately they got engaged.
- 45:40Speaker 1: And I don't know what season that would be, but
- 45:42Speaker 1: I think it coincides around the Catfish time. But like
- 45:46Speaker 1: I did, I wasn't under the impression at that point
- 45:48Speaker 1: that McKelty had actually gone to college. Yeah, so I'm
- 45:52Speaker 1: wondering if she actually goes.
- 45:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 45:54Speaker 3: I mean, she's in this high school program through college,
- 45:57Speaker 3: which is something where like you can get I think
- 46:00Speaker 3: this is the program she's in where you can get
- 46:01Speaker 3: like your associate's degree right when you graduate high school,
- 46:04Speaker 3: like for doing all.
- 46:05Speaker 2: These extra classes and stuff.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Okay, And then the last thing in the preview is
- 46:09Speaker 3: again the family is changing because there's still these rentals
- 46:14Speaker 3: and they're all separate, and nobody's hanging out with each
- 46:16Speaker 3: other and nobody loves each other. Yeah, and shit's getting
- 46:20Speaker 3: hard and it's kind of sad to see because they
- 46:24Speaker 3: really fucked this family up by doing this move to Vegas.
- 46:27Speaker 1: In my opinion, Yeah, I think they had it all
- 46:31Speaker 1: in the high It was just the problem of trying
- 46:34Speaker 1: to integrate Robin into the family. And I wonder if
- 46:38Speaker 1: the issue was Robin really never wanted to integrate in
- 46:45Speaker 1: the way that they lived like that she wanted to
- 46:47Speaker 1: hold herself separate and still benefit from the largess and
- 46:52Speaker 1: the resources of the family. Yeah, like I just after
- 46:56Speaker 1: six seasons, I don't really get the impression, even though
- 47:00Speaker 1: she said it over and over that I just want
- 47:01Speaker 1: to be a part of this family. Like, I don't
- 47:03Speaker 1: get the impression that she actually ever wanted to be
- 47:06Speaker 1: integrated into it in the way that they lived it.
- 47:08Speaker 3: No, no way. And I mean even in this episode
- 47:10Speaker 3: she was talking about how they all live very independent lives,
- 47:14Speaker 3: like even though they're all married to the same man
- 47:16Speaker 3: and they're one big family, they all live independently of
- 47:20Speaker 3: each other. And I'm like, that's not healthy. If this,
- 47:23Speaker 3: if this whole polygamy thing is all about the big
- 47:26Speaker 3: marriage and all of the kids and the whole family together,
- 47:29Speaker 3: but you're all living as like separate families and separate
- 47:32Speaker 3: wives and separate everything. It's like it's a recipe for disaster.
- 47:36Speaker 1: But remember that's how Robin lived polygamy with her mother
- 47:40Speaker 1: and uncle Daddy Paul. Yep. That's how she experienced it.
- 47:43Speaker 1: And so maybe that was her expectation yep. And she
- 47:46Speaker 1: wanted to get the best for herself because maybe she
- 47:49Speaker 1: wanted the best for her mother and her mother didn't
- 47:51Speaker 1: have it. I don't know, I grew knows.
- 47:54Speaker 3: It's pretty cool. Watching these earlier seasons, so I really
- 47:57Speaker 3: enjoy these.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Yes, me too. I hope you guys are WI with
- 48:00Speaker 1: us now sidebar PSA. I do want to address some
- 48:06Speaker 1: of the comments about our wigs, oh, because apparently Beatrice
- 48:10Speaker 1: has been gutting some dms from people inquiring why wigs. Yeah,
- 48:16Speaker 1: and then there's some comments every now and again, specifically
- 48:19Speaker 1: geared towards me about how I'm always fucking.
- 48:21Speaker 2: With way too though.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I've had people then constantly adjusting my wig. Plus somebody
- 48:27Speaker 1: said like, would you brush out your wig like your
- 48:29Speaker 1: wig is so disreputable like this, I mean, please get
- 48:32Speaker 1: a new wig. No, first and foremost, I will never
- 48:35Speaker 1: get another wig. I the more ratty my wig gats,
- 48:38Speaker 1: the more comfortable in my skin. I feel we.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Should add trash into it.
- 48:42Speaker 1: We should like a beer cat, fucking raccoon comeing out
- 48:46Speaker 1: this side of my wig. I do fiddle with it.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I'm a very ticky person generally, like I gotta be
- 48:51Speaker 1: moving my hands and stuff like that. But the wigs
- 48:55Speaker 1: are staying.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Yeah, we're not getting rid of them.
- 48:57Speaker 1: And the reason I have to adjust my wig all
- 48:59Speaker 1: the time is because in real life I have very
- 49:02Speaker 1: long hair. Yeah, long she wants to urious long, bitch,
- 49:09Speaker 1: it's I've got to tie it up, and there's this
- 49:10Speaker 1: big weight in the back of my head hood. It's
- 49:13Speaker 1: constantly making my wig slip, and so I just I'm
- 49:17Speaker 1: always fucking with it and I'm sorry. I'm gonna try
- 49:19Speaker 1: and stop doing that. Yeah, but that's my comment on
- 49:22Speaker 1: our wigs. Do you have any comments about it?
- 49:24Speaker 3: Well, the reason why I keep fiddling with my wig
- 49:26Speaker 3: is because I'm actually bald under here, and so it's
- 49:29Speaker 3: weird to feel like I have hair. Yeah, because I
- 49:32Speaker 3: don't really.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Always touch it.
- 49:33Speaker 1: I always wanted to touch it.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, bald, And I don't want you guys to see.
- 49:40Speaker 1: You've got a perfect head for baldness. You should show them.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I should about it. So I just wanted to share
- 49:46Speaker 1: that because you know, some of you guys have been
- 49:48Speaker 1: inquiring and we haven't really answered your pressing questions, but
- 49:51Speaker 1: now we have, so stf you. So is there anything
- 49:57Speaker 1: else that we need to say to these beautiful records
- 50:00Speaker 1: before we get up on at it here?
- 50:02Speaker 3: Well, if you love our podcasts and you love our wigs,
- 50:05Speaker 3: please go to your favorite podcast platform and leave us
- 50:07Speaker 3: a glowing five star review really helps us grow the
- 50:11Speaker 3: pod so we can get fatter in this dumpster and
- 50:13Speaker 3: we would really appreciate that.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 50:15Speaker 1: We will be back later this week to have conversations
- 50:18Speaker 1: about sister wives, because it's all we ever think about,
- 50:21Speaker 1: it's all we ever talked about. Please make sure to
- 50:24Speaker 1: come back for that, but until then, please do not
- 50:27Speaker 1: forget that we have nothing but love for you, and
- 50:31Speaker 1: please a mighty bye.
