- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is the Mark Simon Show on sevent ten.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Woor Well, we'll get to all the trouble spots around
- 0:10Speaker 2: the world, Iran Venezuela, Minnesota, Greenland and the Giants and
- 0:17Speaker 2: Verizon and a whole lot more coming up. So here's
- 0:20Speaker 2: the latest. In Minnesota. You got this crazy left wing
- 0:24Speaker 2: kook of a mayor, you got this crazy imbecile of
- 0:29Speaker 2: governor Tim Waltz. You've got no leadership in this state.
- 0:34Speaker 2: It's all chaos. There's another big incident last night. Now,
- 0:39Speaker 2: apparently ICE tried to pull over and illegal and they
- 0:44Speaker 2: pulled him over, but he fled. It was a car chase.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Then they fled on foot. He went into his house.
- 0:52Speaker 2: The ICE agents went into the house after him. And
- 0:55Speaker 2: by the way, this everybody seemed to agree on all
- 0:57Speaker 2: these details. It's not in dispute. But once in there,
- 1:00Speaker 2: the illegal picked up a big shovel and it was
- 1:05Speaker 2: about to attack the ICE agent with a big shovel,
- 1:09Speaker 2: and to defend himself, the ICE agent fired a shot,
- 1:12Speaker 2: hitting the illegal in the leg. So, now, if you're
- 1:17Speaker 2: in Minnesota or actually probably pretty much anywhere, the fake
- 1:20Speaker 2: news reported it as ICE agents shoot an immigrant in
- 1:25Speaker 2: the foot, in the leg ice agents shoot an immigrant
- 1:29Speaker 2: in the leg First of all, it wasn't an immigrant,
- 1:31Speaker 2: it was in illegal and they left out all the
- 1:34Speaker 2: details about why they fired. And then all hell broke
- 1:38Speaker 2: loose in Minneapolis with all sorts of stuff going on,
- 1:40Speaker 2: and then you got this idiotic mayor who's now of
- 1:45Speaker 2: course I can call him idiotic, but from his point
- 1:47Speaker 2: of view, it makes sense what he's doing. He wants
- 1:49Speaker 2: to be the leader of this wacko, crazy modern day
- 1:53Speaker 2: democratic movement. He wants to rise up in fame and
- 1:55Speaker 2: power within the party. And when something like this happens,
- 1:59Speaker 2: and you're all over television, You're on the network news,
- 2:02Speaker 2: you're everywhere. If that's your game, you're gonna play this up.
- 2:06Speaker 2: You're gonna keep doing these press conferences, keep saying these
- 2:08Speaker 2: outrageous things. It's fueling your crazy left wing ambition. So
- 2:13Speaker 2: here's Mayor Fry.
- 2:13Speaker 3: There's still a lot that we don't know at this time,
- 2:17Speaker 3: but what I can tell you for certain is that
- 2:20Speaker 3: this is not sustainable.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Yeah, now this is that's a pretty tame cut, but
- 2:25Speaker 2: there's all these other cuts to him. You know, on him,
- 2:27Speaker 2: this is unconstitutional. What I it's nothing unconstitutional? About law enforcement,
- 2:32Speaker 2: enforcing law. That's what they're supposed to do. This is
- 2:34Speaker 2: police Chief O'Hara.
- 2:35Speaker 4: The crowd is engaging in unlawful acts. They have thrown
- 2:39Speaker 4: fireworks at police officers and at multiple times gas has
- 2:43Speaker 4: been deployed.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah, now, so the even the police chief knows this
- 2:47Speaker 2: is getting out of control.
- 2:48Speaker 4: During the struggle, the federal agent discharged his weapon, striking
- 2:51Speaker 4: one adult male. The adult male then retreated inside of
- 2:56Speaker 4: the residents where he remained inside and refused to come out.
- 3:01Speaker 2: So it's getting out of control. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's
- 3:04Speaker 2: uh and the protesters are really getting to be a problem.
- 3:08Speaker 2: There's more and more of them. It's believed they're being funded.
- 3:11Speaker 2: All this Soros type money has come in there to
- 3:14Speaker 2: fund all of this stuff. And you know, as we're
- 3:17Speaker 2: talking about yesterday, Democrats used to be the party of
- 3:19Speaker 2: the working class. Now they're the party of these left
- 3:23Speaker 2: wing wackos who don't work, who spend all day and
- 3:26Speaker 2: they're calling this protesting. It's not protesting. Protesting is where
- 3:29Speaker 2: you have a sign, you're standing over there waving your signs,
- 3:33Speaker 2: and you might be yelling things at the cops. You
- 3:35Speaker 2: might be yelling terrible things. Protesting is a sign and yelling,
- 3:39Speaker 2: that's what it is. Ramming your vehicle into them, grabbing them,
- 3:44Speaker 2: throwing stuff at the that's not protesting. And if you
- 3:48Speaker 2: try to block the cops and stop them like this,
- 3:51Speaker 2: Renee Good. Remember she would do you know anybody that
- 3:55Speaker 2: would have the nerve to do this? She drives up
- 3:57Speaker 2: ahead of the law enforcement caravan, turns a car sideways,
- 4:01Speaker 2: boxes them in, blocks them in on the street. Who
- 4:04Speaker 2: would have the nerve to do this? So anyway, that's
- 4:07Speaker 2: not protesting. That's actually trying to stop law enforcement from
- 4:10Speaker 2: doing their job. It's actually trying to interfere with government proceedings.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And that's why the president now tweeting out he may
- 4:19Speaker 2: use the Insurrection Act. There is an actual Insurrection Act,
- 4:23Speaker 2: which means the president can do whatever he has to
- 4:26Speaker 2: do in a city, in a state. Basically, what it
- 4:28Speaker 2: would look like is he would send maybe National Guard,
- 4:32Speaker 2: but it could also be troops, actual US troops into
- 4:35Speaker 2: a city and crack down on all this. It's been
- 4:40Speaker 2: done before, It's been done many times. The Kennedys did it,
- 4:43Speaker 2: and those Southern states where they were trying to block
- 4:47Speaker 2: minority kids from going to college was done in the
- 4:50Speaker 2: late sixties. Lyndon Johnson did it. When the riots would
- 4:53Speaker 2: get out of control in certain American cities, they would
- 4:56Speaker 2: send the military in to stop it. So the Insurrection
- 4:59Speaker 2: Act is now, this is actual insurrection. Remember they tried
- 5:02Speaker 2: to January sixth, Remember that was that horrible trespassing incident
- 5:06Speaker 2: at the capitol. They tried to call that insurrection. It wasn't.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Twelve hundred people were arrested and they hit these people
- 5:13Speaker 2: with every charge they could hit them with, but none
- 5:16Speaker 2: of the charges were insurrection. It was an unlawful entry,
- 5:19Speaker 2: disruption of a government proceeding, trespassing, that sort of stuff, vandalism,
- 5:24Speaker 2: not nobody got charged with insurrection. This you could actually
- 5:26Speaker 2: charge insurrection. You could actually charge insurrection. So it's possible
- 5:32Speaker 2: this could happen. We'll see. Now you're gonna have all
- 5:36Speaker 2: the crazies all over, crazy fake news, left wing television.
- 5:39Speaker 2: You got Hakeem Jeffreys. They're talking about defunding ICE and
- 5:42Speaker 2: stopping ICE, and.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Taxpayer dollars are being used by the Department of Homeland
- 5:48Speaker 5: Security and ICE to brutalize American citizens and law abiding
- 5:56Speaker 5: American taxpayers.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Now, of course, that's totally irresponsible. Is not going around
- 6:01Speaker 2: brutalizing American citizens. They're grabbing illegals off the street and
- 6:06Speaker 2: taking them into custody and then deporting them. Illegals, not immigrants,
- 6:10Speaker 2: not American citizens. And where did this come from? The idea,
- 6:14Speaker 2: this whole idea of ICE. There used to be the
- 6:17Speaker 2: border patrol. But where did this come from? This idea
- 6:20Speaker 2: that ICE could go into a city, find illegals who
- 6:24Speaker 2: had committed crimes and grab them and take them away. Well,
- 6:28Speaker 2: it's been going on for a long time. It happened
- 6:30Speaker 2: during the Obama administration, it happened during the Biden administration.
- 6:34Speaker 2: They didn't do it in great numbers, but they were
- 6:36Speaker 2: doing it then. In fact, there's a clip, I don't know,
- 6:39Speaker 2: it might be on my Twitter. It's floating around on Twitter.
- 6:41Speaker 2: It was during the Obama days when ICE was arresting
- 6:44Speaker 2: illegals on the streets of our major cities, taking them away.
- 6:48Speaker 2: And a reporter asks the White House spokesperson in the
- 6:51Speaker 2: press conference of what are you doing here? How are
- 6:54Speaker 2: you doing this? What right do you have? And she
- 6:57Speaker 2: gives a nice polite answer, and of course there's no
- 6:59Speaker 2: follow up. It's gently asked, and they gently listen to
- 7:03Speaker 2: the answer because it's a Democrat, it's Obama. So they
- 7:06Speaker 2: don't get mad. They don't huff and puff and yell
- 7:08Speaker 2: on the screen. This defunding ICE. You'll hear more about this.
- 7:12Speaker 2: This is going to be the big thing with Democrats.
- 7:14Speaker 2: They'll try to do a government shutdown over defunding ICE.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Most people don't want ICE defunded. Most people don't like
- 7:23Speaker 2: these protests. It looks ridiculous, you know again, Democrats used
- 7:26Speaker 2: to be the party of the working class. Now they're
- 7:30Speaker 2: the party of these crazy women that don't work, angry,
- 7:34Speaker 2: unhinged white liberal women who don't work, the nose ring crowd. Basically,
- 7:40Speaker 2: the Democrats took the lgbtqz x Y whatever they are
- 7:44Speaker 2: and weaponize them. So Renee Good has a father in law.
- 7:50Speaker 2: This is the father of the crazy wife of Renee Good,
- 7:53Speaker 2: the one that was yelling and screaming at the cops,
- 7:55Speaker 2: taunting them. But even he you know, they had them on.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I think it was MSNBC. You know, they wanted this
- 8:02Speaker 2: guy to denounce Trump, but he didn't do that. He
- 8:04Speaker 2: was pretty pretty reasonable in his answer.
- 8:07Speaker 6: I'm not blaming anybody. I mean it's a hard situation
- 8:10Speaker 6: all the way around. It's it's it's hard for the
- 8:13Speaker 6: you know, for everybody involved. I mean the US agent.
- 8:16Speaker 6: You know, at first I didn't see the footage where
- 8:18Speaker 6: you know, he was actually you know, he was actually
- 8:21Speaker 6: being ran. I mean I seen the bump of the
- 8:22Speaker 6: car hitting you know, hitting his legs, and so in
- 8:26Speaker 6: a you know, in a flash like that, it's it's
- 8:28Speaker 6: hard to say how you would react. From my understanding
- 8:31Speaker 6: that he had been through that before, maybe dragged or something,
- 8:35Speaker 6: and so, uh, you know, like I said, it's just
- 8:38Speaker 6: it's just a hard situation for everybody.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go. It's a very sensible, reasonable, honorable
- 8:46Speaker 2: sort of sounding guy. And then you see his daughter,
- 8:49Speaker 2: a crazy nut in the streets screaming and yelling and
- 8:52Speaker 2: taunting law enforcement. Here's more of this. A father, father
- 8:56Speaker 2: of Renee Goods wife.
- 8:58Speaker 6: I don't blame us, I don't bick, I don't blame Renee.
- 9:01Speaker 6: I just you know, I just wish that, you know,
- 9:04Speaker 6: if a walking the spirit of God, I don't think
- 9:06Speaker 6: she would have been there.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Now, speaking of the ICE agent who was hit by
- 9:10Speaker 2: Renee Goods car, CBS News broke the story that when
- 9:15Speaker 2: he was taken to the hospital after that he was
- 9:18Speaker 2: suffering from internal bleeding. He was hit by the car.
- 9:21Speaker 2: You can see it in the videos from the front.
- 9:24Speaker 2: When he fired his first shot, it went through the
- 9:28Speaker 2: front windshield of the car, which means he was in
- 9:30Speaker 2: front of the car. You know, when you see that
- 9:32Speaker 2: other video, looks like he was on the side, but
- 9:34Speaker 2: you could not fire through the front windshield unless you
- 9:38Speaker 2: were in the front of the car, which he was
- 9:39Speaker 2: for the first shot. And CBS News reporting he had
- 9:44Speaker 2: internal bleeding when he got to the hospital. Now what happens, Well,
- 9:47Speaker 2: the left wing went crazy attacking CBS News. They're all
- 9:51Speaker 2: furious at CBS News for claiming he had internal bleeding.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Now that you have that phrase, they love to use
- 9:59Speaker 2: CBS repor without evidence, reported without evidence. Well, they're also
- 10:04Speaker 2: without evidence that he didn't have internal bleeding. But here's
- 10:08Speaker 2: the problem with CBS News. They try to go more fair,
- 10:12Speaker 2: not right wing, just trying to be right down the
- 10:14Speaker 2: middle and give both sides, and it's got their audience
- 10:18Speaker 2: furious at them. So they've lost a few viewers. Their
- 10:21Speaker 2: nightly ratings are down to about four million. It was
- 10:24Speaker 2: five million last year. But that's Okay. You know when
- 10:27Speaker 2: you switch formats happens in the radio too. You know
- 10:31Speaker 2: you're play in a country in Western you switch to
- 10:36Speaker 2: you switch to classic rock. You know you're gonna lose
- 10:38Speaker 2: a lot of your audience. There'll be a transition before
- 10:41Speaker 2: you get your new audience in, so your ratings will
- 10:43Speaker 2: drop before they go up. And this is the same thing.
- 10:46Speaker 2: They're switching the format from crazy left wing to balanced
- 10:50Speaker 2: and it'll take a while. Now here's what's interesting. NBC News.
- 10:53Speaker 2: You know they got this new anchor at NBC News,
- 10:57Speaker 2: Tom Yamas, good looking guy. In fact, go to my Twitter.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Look at the picture of the three nightly news anchors.
- 11:04Speaker 2: What's the guy's name on ABC, David Muir, Tom Yamas.
- 11:07Speaker 2: And it's gonna be a couple of years before I
- 11:09Speaker 2: learned the name of the CBS guy if he's there
- 11:11Speaker 2: that long, David, whatever his name is. So these three anchors,
- 11:16Speaker 2: look at the there's three pictures together, it's on my Twitter.
- 11:19Speaker 2: They look identical. They're both young, really good looking, dark
- 11:24Speaker 2: hair like young Don Draper types. All they're identical. The three.
- 11:29Speaker 2: It's amazing that's never happened before in the history of
- 11:31Speaker 2: nightly news. Were all three anchors look exactly alike. But
- 11:36Speaker 2: this Tom Yamas Lester Holt. People like Lester Holt. He
- 11:39Speaker 2: was a nice guy. I know he was crazy left wing,
- 11:42Speaker 2: fake news slanted, but he's not a bad guy in
- 11:46Speaker 2: real life. He was just like in a hostage situation.
- 11:48Speaker 2: He had to do that to keep the job. But
- 11:51Speaker 2: as soon as he was gone and this other guy
- 11:53Speaker 2: took over, they did much better. He just looked slicker, faster, younger,
- 11:58Speaker 2: better than Lester. And the ratings are up. In fact,
- 12:01Speaker 2: for the first time ever, NBC Nightly News beat ABC.
- 12:06Speaker 2: This was in the twenty five to fifty four demographic. Overall,
- 12:10Speaker 2: ABC still won, but it's a good sign for NBC
- 12:14Speaker 2: News that they did a really good job of finding
- 12:16Speaker 2: a replacement for Lester Holt. Here's the way it works now.
- 12:19Speaker 2: ABC World News Tonight, the nightly newscast eight million viewers
- 12:23Speaker 2: for the week. That makes it the number one show
- 12:26Speaker 2: in all of television. But NBC Nightly News six point
- 12:30Speaker 2: seven millions. It's almost seven million, CBS Evening News four
- 12:35Speaker 2: point two million. But give them a chance to find
- 12:39Speaker 2: a new audience that likes reasonable, common sense stuff. Hey,
- 12:42Speaker 2: what happened with Iran well, there was talk of going
- 12:46Speaker 2: in there. They were going to execute people. Trump threaten
- 12:49Speaker 2: to go in and do something about it. Now the
- 12:51Speaker 2: word they got was that the executions have been called off.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Iran realized the idea of execute people and hanging them
- 13:01Speaker 2: in public could lead to military actions from the US.
- 13:05Speaker 2: President Trump is no plan.
- 13:07Speaker 7: For executions or an execution or executions, so I've been
- 13:11Speaker 7: told that a good authority we'll find out about it.
- 13:14Speaker 2: So supposedly they've stopped. Now. The US has pulled some
- 13:19Speaker 2: of our troops out of Middle East bases that they're
- 13:21Speaker 2: near Iran. They sent all sorts of military assets, destroyers,
- 13:27Speaker 2: naval ships, everything is moving towards Iran, guided missile destroyers
- 13:33Speaker 2: and moving there. They're getting everything in place for whatever
- 13:37Speaker 2: they have to do. Iran issued a sickening threat, an
- 13:41Speaker 2: assassination threat against Donald Trump. Iran said this time it
- 13:47Speaker 2: will not miss the target. So is that a confession
- 13:49Speaker 2: that they were behind the last two? I think it
- 13:53Speaker 2: is Iran's made threats to kill the president in the past.
- 13:57Speaker 2: There was a twenty twenty two video posted by the
- 14:01Speaker 2: regime depicting an assassination on the president at Amar A
- 14:05Speaker 2: Lago golf course, and then remember there was an assassin
- 14:09Speaker 2: caught on that golf course. A Justice department also said
- 14:13Speaker 2: in twenty twenty four, the US thwarted a plot to
- 14:17Speaker 2: kill President Trump after arresting company that apparently were part
- 14:20Speaker 2: of Iran's revolutionary Guard. So they have tried to kill
- 14:23Speaker 2: him before. They've issued a new threat against him, which
- 14:27Speaker 2: brings me back to what I've been saying all along.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I don't know what the hell he wanted this job.
- 14:32Speaker 2: I mean, I knew the guy in private life before
- 14:34Speaker 2: he was in politics. He had a great life, that
- 14:37Speaker 2: beautiful office in Trump Towery, going to parties, having fun,
- 14:40Speaker 2: Celebrities come up and see you building buildings. Who needs
- 14:44Speaker 2: to trade that in for all of this stuff? And
- 14:48Speaker 2: then on top of all these you imagine all day long,
- 14:50Speaker 2: you know, you mentioned going to a meeting with the
- 14:52Speaker 2: officials of Greenland. Who the hell wants to sit through that?
- 14:56Speaker 2: And then on top of that, you got a ran
- 14:58Speaker 2: trying to kill you. Who needs the this kind of stuff?
- 15:01Speaker 2: Now they are they may stop the executions, but they
- 15:03Speaker 2: are going crazy putting down these protests. Doctors in Iran
- 15:09Speaker 2: say they are collapsing from exhaustion because the protesters are
- 15:14Speaker 2: getting wounded, shot, all sorts of stuff happening. They're coming
- 15:17Speaker 2: into the hospitals by the thousands. The number of wounded
- 15:21Speaker 2: and dead bodies piling up. He's unbelievable. Doctors saying, they're
- 15:26Speaker 2: arriving in trucks, ambulances, private cars filled with bodies. We
- 15:30Speaker 2: can't help everyone. We're running out of supplies. Many have
- 15:33Speaker 2: died because we couldn't even get time to treat them. All.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Pretty bad situation in Iran. So we'll get to that.
- 15:40Speaker 2: We'll get back to that. They also, we'll get to
- 15:42Speaker 2: the giants they're gonna hire. It looks like they're going
- 15:44Speaker 2: to hire John Harbaugh. They're lucky to have him, you know,
- 15:50Speaker 2: they're lucky that he's available. The reason he's available the
- 15:52Speaker 2: other team just fired him. I don't understand this whole procedure.
- 15:56Speaker 2: What kind of job interviews that though? Why'd you leave
- 15:58Speaker 2: your last job? Threw me the hell out. But apparently
- 16:02Speaker 2: they want to get them twenty million a year. Anyway, we'll
- 16:03Speaker 2: get back to this. We'll take some calls next. Eight
- 16:05Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number
- 16:10Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Mark on demand by setting up pre sad for his
- 16:17Speaker 1: podcast on the iHeartRadio app. Now back to Mark Simone
- 16:22Speaker 1: on wor.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Kevin in Charlotte, Charlotte,
- 16:32Speaker 2: North Carolina.
- 16:33Speaker 8: Kevin, Hello, Mark, how you doing?
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yep?
- 16:35Speaker 8: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Hey, Yeah, let's talk about Charlotte. It's you got a
- 16:39Speaker 2: lot of neighborhoods getting out of control there, don't you.
- 16:43Speaker 8: It's like there's a murder every one or two murders
- 16:45Speaker 8: every single day in the outer neighborhoods and the city.
- 16:48Speaker 8: You would never think, but there's there's killings constantly in
- 16:51Speaker 8: the outer yighborhoods. It's crazy. My question is, I'm hoping
- 16:57Speaker 8: that Trump isn't feeling because the execute usis have stopped,
- 17:01Speaker 8: that all is forgiven and they can go back to
- 17:03Speaker 8: where they were. They crossed the rubicon on this whole
- 17:07Speaker 8: situation already. They can't go back and just say, well,
- 17:10Speaker 8: you know, because the killings have stopped, everything's all right.
- 17:15Speaker 2: No, don't worry. They're just you know, the longer they wait,
- 17:18Speaker 2: the better they plan whatever they're going.
- 17:21Speaker 9: To do.
- 17:23Speaker 2: The way it'll work out. I think that you'll end
- 17:24Speaker 2: up with the Iatola fleeing heading to Russia with his
- 17:28Speaker 2: He's got about twenty people he wants to take with him.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Russia's offered to give them sanctuary or whatever. You got
- 17:35Speaker 2: to pay for that. By the way, I don't know
- 17:37Speaker 2: if you know that, but when they take in a
- 17:39Speaker 2: dictator on their run, you got to pay putin Usually
- 17:42Speaker 2: it's about one hundred million you got to give them.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Don't worry, the Iatolic can afford it. Let's go to
- 17:47Speaker 2: Matt in Manhattan. Matt, how you doing.
- 17:50Speaker 10: Okay, Well, thank you for taking my call. You know,
- 17:53Speaker 10: the biggest thing it's stopping us from having being protected
- 17:56Speaker 10: or having good politicians is the voting system. Governor out
- 17:59Speaker 10: of just recently allowed paper ballot voting in six of
- 18:05Speaker 10: the counties in Texas. Why are we doing this paper
- 18:08Speaker 10: ballot voting?
- 18:10Speaker 2: Well, yeah, no, it's a good idea. You got to
- 18:12Speaker 2: remember years of million years ago, when it was all
- 18:14Speaker 2: paper ballot, you still had cheating in certain places. It's
- 18:18Speaker 2: gonna happen when you had those machines, you had cheating.
- 18:20Speaker 2: When you got you know, into the software, you get cheating.
- 18:24Speaker 2: And it's it's not the machine company or the software company,
- 18:27Speaker 2: it's it depends who's running the stuff. You know, in
- 18:31Speaker 2: a big municipality like in the middle of New York City,
- 18:34Speaker 2: the municipal workers running all that stuff tend to be Democrats,
- 18:38Speaker 2: you know, that's who becomes these municipal workers for a
- 18:40Speaker 2: million years. Republicans don't tend to do that kind of
- 18:43Speaker 2: stuff for a living. So there was always finagling with it.
- 18:46Speaker 2: And let's go from North Carolina to South Carolina. Stuart,
- 18:50Speaker 2: how you doing, hey, Mark?
- 18:52Speaker 11: Are you doing?
- 18:52Speaker 3: Oh?
- 18:53Speaker 11: Two points one? Vincent mentioned yesterday about the night six
- 18:56Speaker 11: and you mentioned about the ones with the handles. That
- 18:58Speaker 11: was a PR twenty four.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Okay, but wait, they got rid of the night stick.
- 19:02Speaker 2: It looked good because a cop, but spent the first
- 19:05Speaker 2: two years on the force learning how to twirl it
- 19:07Speaker 2: real really nice.
- 19:08Speaker 11: Yeah, but the PR twenty four is the one you
- 19:11Speaker 11: mentioned with the handles were fantastic. They were basically Marshall arts.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Okay, well, but that's the thing where it looks like
- 19:17Speaker 2: a big selfie stick. It's it's small, but then you
- 19:19Speaker 2: extend a wand out.
- 19:21Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 11: And the other one that you had talked about, the
- 19:24Speaker 11: expandable one, is I think they are horrible. It's called
- 19:27Speaker 11: an ast Yeah, and it's it's not so cumbersome. But
- 19:32Speaker 11: the PR twenty four was much much better. And the
- 19:35Speaker 11: other thing I want to say, I was in Iran
- 19:37Speaker 11: before the Shaw.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Left, what we were doing in Iran.
- 19:42Speaker 11: I was in the military and it was the people
- 19:46Speaker 11: there was great. In fact, the country was very nice.
- 19:48Speaker 11: I loved being there.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, well, let me just because people did not
- 19:51Speaker 2: realize it before the Shaw left, when the Shaw was
- 19:54Speaker 2: running it, before the Ayatola, Iran was like the Paris
- 19:58Speaker 2: of the Middle East, right, wonderful, Mark.
- 20:01Speaker 11: It really was a nice place and the people were
- 20:04Speaker 11: really great. They were so friendly. And people have to understand,
- 20:07Speaker 11: we are not at war with the Iranian people. They
- 20:09Speaker 11: are very decent people. It is the regime that has
- 20:13Speaker 11: just bastardized that poor country. And once the Aotola took
- 20:17Speaker 11: over then it just went insane. And he's got to
- 20:21Speaker 11: be removed, he really does. He's done so much damage
- 20:24Speaker 11: to the world. He's just a cancer upon the earth.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Stuart, great call, Thanks for Colin. Let's
- 20:29Speaker 2: go Vincent from Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:32Speaker 12: Good morning, Mark, God morning, Good morning Stewart. Mark Stewart
- 20:36Speaker 12: is one hundred percent right years ago. I used to
- 20:39Speaker 12: have a tenant and his family escaped from Moran when
- 20:48Speaker 12: the Mullas took over, and they did very very well
- 20:52Speaker 12: in this country, very well, very well loved family. Mark,
- 20:57Speaker 12: the first caller talked about the uprising in a ram. Mark,
- 21:02Speaker 12: I wouldn't trust those people as far as I could spit,
- 21:05Speaker 12: because how do we know that they're not taking the
- 21:09Speaker 12: prisoners in the police stations or in the barracks and
- 21:12Speaker 12: putting a cap in their head over there years ago?
- 21:16Speaker 12: And people got to remember this when there was the
- 21:19Speaker 12: first uprising in Iran years ago, when Obama was president
- 21:24Speaker 12: and he didn't do anything. I saw executions in the
- 21:29Speaker 12: town square, not on American TV, on Italian TV, of course,
- 21:34Speaker 12: where they were hanging these kids from cherry pickers in
- 21:37Speaker 12: the town square and everything about.
- 21:41Speaker 2: It's not fair to say Obama didn't do anything. Didn't
- 21:43Speaker 2: he send him like twenty billion in cash? Remember that.
- 21:48Speaker 12: Exactly? The help which was actually which was actually illegal
- 21:53Speaker 12: because he was also was sending them other currencies aside
- 21:58Speaker 12: from the United States.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Yeah, they disguised at this other Curtsey, But was that
- 22:02Speaker 2: out and out bribe.
- 22:02Speaker 12: To her in Yeah, Yeah, he was sending them everything.
- 22:06Speaker 12: How do we know he didn't send them gold and
- 22:08Speaker 12: other stuff in there? And as President Donald Trump said,
- 22:13Speaker 12: Obama did squat and I saw the executions myself on
- 22:20Speaker 12: unwoke Italian TV. Mark, So I wouldn't trust those people
- 22:26Speaker 12: as far as I can spare.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Yeah, well, that's why they hate Donald Trump. They don't
- 22:29Speaker 2: like this. Why does he have to do so much?
- 22:31Speaker 2: Just sit there and talk like Trump, just talk. Don't
- 22:34Speaker 2: let you do anything.
- 22:36Speaker 12: Donald Trump. You would saying, well, you said, well, why
- 22:39Speaker 12: would he want to risk taking a bullet? He is
- 22:42Speaker 12: going to go down. There's no doubt in my mind,
- 22:45Speaker 12: there's the greatest president in United States history. He's gonna
- 22:50Speaker 12: top everybody. The only one perhaps that he won't top,
- 22:54Speaker 12: only because he found his country, is George Washington. He
- 22:58Speaker 12: is the greatest.
- 23:00Speaker 2: All right, Vincent, we agree, Thanks for a great call,
- 23:03Speaker 2: Thanks for calling us. Hey, when we come back, Steve
- 23:06Speaker 2: Moore will be with us. We hope we'll see next
- 23:10Speaker 2: on seven to ten wrl's more.
- 23:13Speaker 13: More mister New York on seven ten.
- 23:16Speaker 2: WR, Well, welcome to the hunt for Steve Moore. Uh,
- 23:24Speaker 2: we're gonna get him, right, We've made contact with him.
- 23:28Speaker 2: The Great Economist, and he leads the Great Committee Unleashed Prosperity.
- 23:36Speaker 2: By the way, every day they put out the best
- 23:38Speaker 2: daily briefing with news and analysis. You'll love it. It's free,
- 23:42Speaker 2: it'll come write your email. Go sign up for it.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Go to Unleash Prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot com
- 23:50Speaker 2: and get Steve Moore's latest book, The Trump Economic Miracle.
- 23:53Speaker 2: You'll love it. Steve Moore, How you doing.
- 23:57Speaker 14: They mark, I am doing really well. I think that
- 24:00Speaker 14: this economy is flying high. I think all the signals
- 24:04Speaker 14: are pointing north, whether it's incomes, and we're seeing a
- 24:08Speaker 14: lot of new jobs, a lot of new manufacturing, a
- 24:10Speaker 14: lot of money pouring into the United States. I think
- 24:13Speaker 14: were they out economy? And so I'm very bullish.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Right now about you. Yeah, you know, well, I'm not
- 24:19Speaker 2: an expert like you are. But the jobs number looked okay,
- 24:22Speaker 2: not great, But if you look at the household survey,
- 24:25Speaker 2: it looked great. What is the difference between the two things.
- 24:29Speaker 14: Well, I don't want to get too far into the weeds.
- 24:32Speaker 14: I don't want to be a nerdyer, but basically, they
- 24:34Speaker 14: do surveys. One of us households and one of the businesses,
- 24:38Speaker 14: and they pointed in different directions, And so the household
- 24:44Speaker 14: survey showed a big gain in jobs and the other
- 24:47Speaker 14: one just showed a little tiny game. I don't know
- 24:50Speaker 14: which one to believe. I think maybe somewhere in the middle.
- 24:53Speaker 14: But look, the problem in the United States is not
- 24:55Speaker 14: a shortage of jobs. It isn't it's a shortage of workers.
- 24:59Speaker 14: I mean, we have a eleven thousand America retiring every
- 25:02Speaker 14: day and eight thousand people that work for So just
- 25:05Speaker 14: do the math there are our labor force is going
- 25:10Speaker 14: to be shrinking unless we have immigration and unless we
- 25:12Speaker 14: get the people who are employed in into jobs. So
- 25:16Speaker 14: if you talk to most businesses, they say, look, we're hiring,
- 25:19Speaker 14: we just can't find the people with the skills we need.
- 25:21Speaker 14: You saw Bill Ford, you know, who, of course is
- 25:24Speaker 14: the president of Ford Motor Company, Yeah, saying we have
- 25:26Speaker 14: fifteen thousand mechanic jobs open and those stay over one
- 25:29Speaker 14: hundred thousand dollars a year and we can't fill them.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, I know that. And for it's an example
- 25:34Speaker 2: of a great American company that's a coming back manufacturing
- 25:38Speaker 2: in America. Yep, and yep.
- 25:40Speaker 14: I mean, you know, it's interesting, Mark, because you probably
- 25:43Speaker 14: said a lot of your listeners and I'm sure you
- 25:46Speaker 14: saw Trump, you know, give that little talk at the
- 25:48Speaker 14: at the Ford plant where they make the f one fifty.
- 25:51Speaker 14: And you know, when I was a kid, you know,
- 25:54Speaker 14: I in the early seventies, when I grew up in Chicago,
- 25:57Speaker 14: we took a trip. We drove to Detroit. We went
- 26:00Speaker 14: to the Kellogg's factory, and we went to the steel plants,
- 26:03Speaker 14: and we went to the Ford you know plant there.
- 26:06Speaker 14: And back then this was seventy like sweatshops. I mean,
- 26:10Speaker 14: those are tough factory jobs, you know. And I looked
- 26:13Speaker 14: at the factories, you know, that factory, that four factory today.
- 26:16Speaker 14: It didn't look and anything like that fifty years ago.
- 26:19Speaker 14: And so my point is, you know that it's changed
- 26:22Speaker 14: a lot, these kind of manufacturing jobs, and it so
- 26:25Speaker 14: much is done with automation now and so it's it's
- 26:30Speaker 14: amazing and the fact that we're now, you know, producing
- 26:33Speaker 14: more cars is a really positive thing. And producing America
- 26:36Speaker 14: trumps that it used to be. The factory we're moving
- 26:39Speaker 14: from Michigan to Mexico. And now they're moving from Mexico Michigan.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, speaking of all that. You know, years ago,
- 26:48Speaker 2: the Democratic Party was the party of the working class.
- 26:50Speaker 2: You thought of a Democrat voter, You thought of the factory,
- 26:54Speaker 2: the lunch bucket, the hard hat. Now you think of
- 26:57Speaker 2: a Democrat, what do you think of a nose ring,
- 26:58Speaker 2: pink hair? They don't work? Chasing ice around what happened?
- 27:04Speaker 14: It's a great point, I think one of the real
- 27:07Speaker 14: uh political positions that has happened in the last fifteen pointers,
- 27:13Speaker 14: especially in the Europe. Trump it's been Trump really has
- 27:16Speaker 14: turned the Republican Party into the party of the working class,
- 27:20Speaker 14: and Democrats have become.
- 27:22Speaker 2: The party of the league.
- 27:24Speaker 14: And so that's why you're seeing you know, uh may
- 27:29Speaker 14: have in the cities and so on. I mean, you
- 27:32Speaker 14: look at what's happening in New York City and it's
- 27:34Speaker 14: just it breaks my home mark. I mean, you live
- 27:38Speaker 14: there in the New York It's just, how can you
- 27:42Speaker 14: who admits that he's a socialist? Where is socialism? Can
- 27:46Speaker 14: you point to a civil plate where it works?
- 27:48Speaker 2: Yeah? Uh, Well, but the president seems to have a
- 27:51Speaker 2: good relationship with mom Donnie, not that it's yeah, done
- 27:55Speaker 2: anything relationship.
- 27:57Speaker 14: He also has a good relationship now with poconnas up.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Well, loosen Steve, Are you there a credit cards? Yeah? Hey,
- 28:09Speaker 2: speaking of credit cards, this idea of capping because they interesting, well,
- 28:14Speaker 2: the interest rate on a credit card can be ridiculously
- 28:17Speaker 2: high twenty Why not a cap?
- 28:21Speaker 14: Well, because if you do that, it's because they've tried
- 28:25Speaker 14: this before. When you put these kind of caps on
- 28:28Speaker 14: the then they issue fewer credit cards, and we estimated
- 28:31Speaker 14: millions of Americans will lose, especially lower income Americans, Americans
- 28:35Speaker 14: with poorer credit ratings, and then they're not going to
- 28:38Speaker 14: have access to credit at all. And then what are
- 28:39Speaker 14: they gonna have to do. They're gonna have to go
- 28:41Speaker 14: to you know, Guido the loan Shark you can get money.
- 28:45Speaker 14: So I think it's a really bad idea. I'm not
- 28:49Speaker 14: a financial advisor, but I will advise this to your listeners.
- 28:52Speaker 14: The worst way to borrow is to borrow off your
- 28:55Speaker 14: credit card. People are stupid to do that, and we should.
- 28:58Speaker 14: We need more financial literacy in this country. You're better
- 29:00Speaker 14: off taking a loan at a bank than burrowing off
- 29:03Speaker 14: your credit cards. Because you said they'll pay you, they'll
- 29:05Speaker 14: charge your twenty two percent interest, So don't that. Credit
- 29:08Speaker 14: cards are not for borrowing and if you get if
- 29:11Speaker 14: you get into debt on your credit card, try to
- 29:12Speaker 14: pay it back as quickly as possible. So but look,
- 29:16Speaker 14: the banks don't make money when people go, uh you know,
- 29:19Speaker 14: go don't link went on their credit cards. But they
- 29:21Speaker 14: have to recapture, you know, they pay, you know, they're
- 29:24Speaker 14: paying the same four percent interest rate, they pay six
- 29:26Speaker 14: percent on the capture. They pay all these costs. So
- 29:30Speaker 14: there's way. But I saw that some at two trillion
- 29:34Speaker 14: dollars of debt on people's credit cards. That's bad.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember that Warren Buffett. That old woman said, uh,
- 29:41Speaker 2: he said, well what do you Oh, it's well, my
- 29:43Speaker 2: credit card did how much you're paying a twenty two percent?
- 29:45Speaker 2: And he said pay it off immediately. She said, well
- 29:47Speaker 2: I need money. He said, I'll give you all the
- 29:49Speaker 2: money you want if you're paying twenty two percent.
- 29:52Speaker 14: So yeah, right exactly. So it's just a bad way
- 29:55Speaker 14: to borrow. And people are going to look, I'm I
- 29:57Speaker 14: have relatives who've gotten into the card trouble. And and
- 30:00Speaker 14: then the problem is then if you don't pay the
- 30:01Speaker 14: credit card, you know, then you lose your credit rating.
- 30:05Speaker 14: So we just need need to be more disciplined in
- 30:08Speaker 14: terms of you know, not overspending. But I don't think
- 30:13Speaker 14: look taking away credit card. Look it used to be
- 30:15Speaker 14: when I grew up, only you know, less half of
- 30:18Speaker 14: the population even had access to credit cards. Now almost
- 30:21Speaker 14: everybody has a credit card, and that's a good thing.
- 30:23Speaker 14: It means we've democratized credit and innocently. Have you noticed this?
- 30:27Speaker 14: I don't know if it's true in New York City,
- 30:29Speaker 14: but a lot of stores where I live, they say,
- 30:32Speaker 14: we don't take cash anymore. Well, if they don't take
- 30:36Speaker 14: cash and you can't get a credit card, are you
- 30:37Speaker 14: going to pay for anything?
- 30:39Speaker 2: But in five years, I don't think we'll have any
- 30:41Speaker 2: cash anywhere. Everything will.
- 30:43Speaker 14: I don't think so either. So that you know, how
- 30:45Speaker 14: are people going to you know, people are going to
- 30:47Speaker 14: use electronic transfers and and so we want everybody to
- 30:51Speaker 14: have access to credit. And but look, I agree with you.
- 30:54Speaker 14: I think though some of those interest rates are really high.
- 30:57Speaker 14: But I don't think. I don't like the government setting
- 30:59Speaker 14: price controls.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Yeah, if we're not gonna have any cash anymore, is
- 31:03Speaker 2: that the reason we really have to have crypto for
- 31:05Speaker 2: people that want to avoid taxes and all that stuff,
- 31:08Speaker 2: And criminal activity. That's why they need crypto.
- 31:12Speaker 14: Well, I'm not an expert on cryptos. I'm very happy
- 31:15Speaker 14: we have them. And are you an investor in cryptos?
- 31:18Speaker 2: No?
- 31:19Speaker 14: No, no, I'm not either, but I'm happy that we
- 31:22Speaker 14: have them because you know what, we've got a lot
- 31:24Speaker 14: of you know, we've got Jerome poll up the FED,
- 31:26Speaker 14: who doesn't know what he's doing. And you know what
- 31:28Speaker 14: does the government always do when we get in trouble
- 31:30Speaker 14: They inflate the currency. So this is a fact that
- 31:33Speaker 14: people can buy a private currency. I think it's going
- 31:36Speaker 14: to keep these central bankers honest.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Hey, we just a petition is a good thing, Yeah right,
- 31:42Speaker 2: we only got a few seconds. Jerome Poull when he
- 31:44Speaker 2: is done is the FED chairman? Will he leave or
- 31:46Speaker 2: who he stay on the board and annoy everybody?
- 31:49Speaker 14: Does it matter? I just want him out of the
- 31:51Speaker 14: chairmanship as soon as possible. I'm with Trump. I think
- 31:54Speaker 14: he's been a total disaster at the FED. Uh and
- 31:56Speaker 14: he hates Trump and a lot of this. He's also
- 31:59Speaker 14: the most politic Fed sherman we've ever hade. I cannot
- 32:02Speaker 14: wait but up my advice to Trump just wait him out.
- 32:04Speaker 14: He'll be gone in four months and well he'll be
- 32:07Speaker 14: he'll be gone and forgotten.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Well, unlike you, I want him out of the building,
- 32:10Speaker 2: not on the board, not a vote. I want him gone,
- 32:13Speaker 2: leave Washington anyway. Steve Moore, great stuff. Everybody, sign up

- 34:41Speaker 2: the committee looking at Jeffrey Epstein has asked for months
- 34:45Speaker 2: and months and months to have Bill and Hillary Clinton
- 34:48Speaker 2: come testify. Donald Trump had very little to do with
- 34:52Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein. He knew him briefly in the beginning, cut
- 34:57Speaker 2: him off, threw him out of marrow A Lago. He
- 34:59Speaker 2: knew him for a year. That was a And now
- 35:01Speaker 2: you're talking about back in the you know, twenty five
- 35:03Speaker 2: years ago, it was the Clintons that had a very
- 35:06Speaker 2: close friendship or whatever it was, relationship with Epstein, business who,
- 35:12Speaker 2: whatever it was, it was continuing until the end. The
- 35:15Speaker 2: Clinton's very close to Epstein. And in the case of Trump,
- 35:20Speaker 2: Epstein became a wealthy guy, went to Palm Beach, and
- 35:25Speaker 2: if you're a very wealthy guy in Palm Beach, one
- 35:27Speaker 2: of the first things you do is join mar A Lago.
- 35:29Speaker 2: And they started hanging around there. That's where Trump got
- 35:31Speaker 2: to know him, and here in New York, Epstein would
- 35:34Speaker 2: throw these great parties or be at these great parties,
- 35:37Speaker 2: and you had a certain charm to him. I always
- 35:40Speaker 2: found him kind of sleazy, but he was spending a
- 35:44Speaker 2: lot of money. So you know, if you own a club,
- 35:46Speaker 2: a country club, a mar a lago, a resort, and
- 35:49Speaker 2: a guy comes and has a ton of money and
- 35:51Speaker 2: he seems to be spending it in your place, you're
- 35:54Speaker 2: nice to him, you're friendly with him. And all the
- 35:56Speaker 2: pictures you see with Trump are all at parties. So
- 36:00Speaker 2: if there was a big party in the ballroom, you
- 36:03Speaker 2: know Trump had come down spent a few minutes with
- 36:05Speaker 2: the guy. It's perfectly normal. You know, if you're the
- 36:08Speaker 2: biggest spender in Las Vegas, when you go to the hotel,
- 36:12Speaker 2: the head of the hotel will come down and talk
- 36:14Speaker 2: to you for a few minutes, see if you need anything.
- 36:17Speaker 2: It's that kind of relationship, and Trump did that with
- 36:19Speaker 2: a lot of people. There was a very very very
- 36:23Speaker 2: wealthy guy who got married, and this is when Trump
- 36:27Speaker 2: owned the plaza. I remember he threw a wedding that
- 36:30Speaker 2: was unbelievable. He must have spent twenty million on this wedding.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I mean, it was unbelievable. It was like seventeen famous
- 36:37Speaker 2: bands in a row. It was like Chicago, followed by Tavares,
- 36:41Speaker 2: followed by the Ojys. I mean, you hired all these
- 36:44Speaker 2: band It was just unbelievable, The food, the money. This
- 36:48Speaker 2: is in the Plaza Hotel ballroom and it was about
- 36:51Speaker 2: midnight and Trump shows up and I said, what are
- 36:53Speaker 2: you doing here? I didn't know you know this guy
- 36:54Speaker 2: because I don't know the guy. He said, but he's
- 36:56Speaker 2: spending a fortune, he's a great customer. I want to
- 36:59Speaker 2: say hello to him to see if he needs me
- 37:01Speaker 2: to do anything at his wedding, say a few words,
- 37:03Speaker 2: take pictures, whatever. So you just do that, and that's
- 37:05Speaker 2: kind of relationship you had with Epstein. Now, the Clinton's
- 37:09Speaker 2: had a long relationship to continue. At the very end,
- 37:12Speaker 2: it was Epstein that formed the Clinton Foundation, the Clinton
- 37:15Speaker 2: Global Initiative, put the whole thing together. Sell. This committee
- 37:20Speaker 2: has asked the Clintons to come in and testify about Epstein.
- 37:25Speaker 2: It's not that they're being accused of anything. You just
- 37:27Speaker 2: like to have them shed some light on the whole situation.
- 37:31Speaker 2: They've refused and refused, and refused and refused and refused
- 37:35Speaker 2: to come in. Even some left wing people getting upset.
- 37:38Speaker 2: John Stewart on the show said the Clinton should apps
- 37:41Speaker 2: a blank and lutely comply with Epstein's subpoenas. Absolutely, they
- 37:46Speaker 2: should comply, he said, everybody should comply. These are victims
- 37:51Speaker 2: of these heinous cases, should finally get some justice. So
- 37:55Speaker 2: everybody's screaming for the Clintons to testify. They have absolutely refused.
- 37:59Speaker 2: They've defied Congress. Steve Bannon did it, Peter Navarro defied Congress,
- 38:04Speaker 2: and they went to jail for it. So that something's
- 38:05Speaker 2: going to happen to Clinton's Here's the committee chairman, James Comer.
- 38:08Speaker 15: I think what's most disappointing to the Oversight Committee is
- 38:12Speaker 15: the fact that we have in good faith negotiated with
- 38:16Speaker 15: the Clinton's attorneys.
- 38:17Speaker 2: For five months.
- 38:20Speaker 15: Throughout the past five months, they've implied to us they
- 38:22Speaker 15: were trying to make a date work.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well now they're not coming. They've actually told them
- 38:27Speaker 2: they're not coming. So what do you do they refuse
- 38:29Speaker 2: to come? Draw up contempt charges contempt to Congress. Here's Comer.
- 38:35Speaker 15: We're going to vote on it in committee Wednesday, so
- 38:37Speaker 15: we're giving plenty of notice. We're having a mark up,
- 38:40Speaker 15: a regularly scheduled markup for the House Oversight Committee. We
- 38:43Speaker 15: will mark up criminal contempt of Congress chargers for both
- 38:48Speaker 15: Clintons for defying illegal subpoena.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Okay, now, the problem is if they charge them, who
- 38:54Speaker 2: does the prosecuting, Well, it'll go to the district attorney
- 38:58Speaker 2: in Washington, d C. Guess who that is, Janine Piro. Now, remember,
- 39:03Speaker 2: as I explained to you yesterday, it was the Clintons
- 39:06Speaker 2: that put her husband in jail in a ridiculous case.
- 39:11Speaker 2: He didn't deserve to go to jail. It was some
- 39:14Speaker 2: you know, whatever they charged them with. Whenever I had
- 39:16Speaker 2: asked people in his attorney's office where the hell did
- 39:18Speaker 2: discharge come from? And they said that was something lying
- 39:20Speaker 2: around for years ago. Nobody in the office thought it
- 39:22Speaker 2: was anything. But it was the Clintons, and they got
- 39:25Speaker 2: a conviction, and they sent her husband to jail, so
- 39:29Speaker 2: she would be the one coming after them. It's not
- 39:32Speaker 2: going to be good. Not going to be good. The
- 39:34Speaker 2: husband was later pardoned, he's no longer found he's a
- 39:37Speaker 2: good guy. He didn't deserve any of that. But this
- 39:41Speaker 2: is not going to go well for the Clintons. Now
- 39:42Speaker 2: the Clinton's only argument will be something like, we don't
- 39:47Speaker 2: feel that a ex president of former president should be
- 39:50Speaker 2: forced to testify in front of Congress. But that doesn't
- 39:54Speaker 2: pass the smell test or the laugh test or any
- 39:57Speaker 2: of that. So you remember, two days ago, the President
- 40:00Speaker 2: visited the Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan. Bill Ford the
- 40:05Speaker 2: chairman walking him around the plant and then also the CEO.
- 40:11Speaker 2: They're touring the plant. Went on for about an hour. Well,
- 40:13Speaker 2: at one point a Ford factory worker yelled something awful
- 40:17Speaker 2: at the President, like you're a pedophile protector, and why
- 40:20Speaker 2: are you're protecting pedophiles? Something ridiculous, ugly moment, and the
- 40:25Speaker 2: President actually gave him the finger. I know it's not presidential,
- 40:28Speaker 2: you're not supposed to do that, but you know what
- 40:31Speaker 2: he did it Well, Ford, you know, thought this was
- 40:36Speaker 2: a horrible thing. They were televising this whole thing, cameras
- 40:41Speaker 2: were rolling. They thought it was just awful for Ford.
- 40:43Speaker 2: It made Ford look terrible. So they suspended the worker.
- 40:47Speaker 2: And I don't think that's unfair. I think that would happen,
- 40:50Speaker 2: you know if here at any iHeart or at any corporation,
- 40:54Speaker 2: if you were having some big formal ceremony and an
- 40:57Speaker 2: employee yelled out something awful and disrupted the ceremony. Well,
- 41:01Speaker 2: they'd probably suspend you too. And if it were something
- 41:05Speaker 2: where a big dignitary was coming and you disrupted it,
- 41:08Speaker 2: I'm sure they would suspend you. And if the President
- 41:10Speaker 2: of the United States and there's cameras rolling, of course
- 41:12Speaker 2: they would suspend you. So it's not unfair. The United
- 41:18Speaker 2: Auto Workers says it's reviewing the employee's suspension. But here's
- 41:22Speaker 2: the interesting part. Democrats, crazy left wing people all over
- 41:25Speaker 2: the country started two different go Fundme pages for the
- 41:30Speaker 2: suspended worker and they've raised near nearly eight hundred thousand
- 41:34Speaker 2: dollars eight hundred thousand, which is probably four or five
- 41:38Speaker 2: years salary for this guy. It's actually a good way
- 41:42Speaker 2: to get a lot of money out of democrats pockets,
- 41:44Speaker 2: you know. And these go fundme pages. The wife of
- 41:48Speaker 2: Renee Good got something like one point five million from
- 41:51Speaker 2: these go fundme things. Just do something outrageous and these
- 41:55Speaker 2: liberals will contribute like crazy. But we'll see what happens.
- 42:02Speaker 2: And we'll see, now, is that a tip? There's no
- 42:06Speaker 2: tax on tips. But we'll see if he ends up
- 42:09Speaker 2: declaring that money or even taking it. Now, you know,
- 42:12Speaker 2: Mark Kelly is the senator who started that crazy video
- 42:18Speaker 2: about if you're given an illegal order, don't obey it,
- 42:22Speaker 2: and what they called him the Insurrection five or the
- 42:26Speaker 2: seditious the Seditious seven or whatever they were, those democrats
- 42:30Speaker 2: on that video telling the military, if they think their
- 42:33Speaker 2: orders illegal, not to obey. Well, Pete Hegseth has demoted
- 42:38Speaker 2: Mark Kelly's former military but there's still a way you
- 42:41Speaker 2: can demote him, and it does cut his pension a little.
- 42:47Speaker 2: So Mark Kelly is now suing Pete Hegseath, he's suing
- 42:52Speaker 2: the Defense Department. I guess attorneys have looked at this,
- 42:55Speaker 2: I mean smart, great attorneys say he's got no case
- 42:58Speaker 2: at all. He said Hexavis, attempting to punish a sitting
- 43:02Speaker 2: member of the Senate committee for criticizing the president. Well,
- 43:05Speaker 2: this is why you've got no case. It's not over
- 43:08Speaker 2: criticizing a president. Everybody in Congress criticizes the president all
- 43:12Speaker 2: day and night, so that's not unusual. This would be
- 43:15Speaker 2: for creating seditious conditions. Now, the problem was, there are
- 43:21Speaker 2: no illegal orders being given. There's never been a hint
- 43:24Speaker 2: of any illegal orders being given. Even Kelly can't point
- 43:27Speaker 2: to anything. So if you're putting out these propaganda videos
- 43:31Speaker 2: urging military not to comply with orders they think might be,
- 43:35Speaker 2: it's putting it in their head. It's creating this whole
- 43:38Speaker 2: false climate that there might be illegal orders. So I
- 43:41Speaker 2: can understand Hexas thinking, here, you got to stop this
- 43:44Speaker 2: kind of seditious behavior. The lawsuit will go absolutely nowhere,
- 43:50Speaker 2: got no chance at all. Do you have a Verizon phone?
- 43:52Speaker 2: Did you go through this outage yesterday? One hundred and
- 43:55Speaker 2: seventy thousand customers for twelve hours had no service in
- 43:59Speaker 2: see Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Washington, DC.
- 44:06Speaker 2: You'd get that SOS. By the way, if you have
- 44:08Speaker 2: an iPhone and you have no signal at all, you
- 44:12Speaker 2: can still use this. There's a satellite feature. It's built
- 44:15Speaker 2: in when you go to SOS mode. If it says
- 44:18Speaker 2: SOS mode in an absolute emergency, that will go to
- 44:21Speaker 2: a satellite and get your help if you need it.
- 44:24Speaker 2: One reason to get an iPhone. But could you imagine
- 44:27Speaker 2: your cell service goes out for twelve hours? What you'd
- 44:31Speaker 2: have to go through, You'd have to actually talk to people,
- 44:34Speaker 2: you'd have to actually not use your phone and just
- 44:37Speaker 2: go through life looking at everything, talking to everything, not
- 44:42Speaker 2: taking pictures, not reading, just enjoying life, just like people
- 44:46Speaker 2: used to do years ago. It's hard to go back
- 44:48Speaker 2: and think about that. If this were nineteen ninety two,
- 44:54Speaker 2: well there were a few cell phones then, but all
- 44:56Speaker 2: you could do is make a call on let's say
- 44:57Speaker 2: was nineteen eighty seven, there was nobody else mobile phone.
- 45:01Speaker 2: What the hell did you do all day? What did
- 45:04Speaker 2: you do when you were on the train, or what
- 45:07Speaker 2: did you do when you were waiting in the airport.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I'm trying to well, I guess you had to bring
- 45:11Speaker 2: stuff with You had to bring books, you had to
- 45:13Speaker 2: bring magazines, which means you had to carry all this
- 45:17Speaker 2: stuff around. But when you got home, what did you do? Well,
- 45:22Speaker 2: you could watch TV. You could make some phone calls,
- 45:26Speaker 2: but that was it. That was absolutely all you could do. Now,
- 45:31Speaker 2: what if you're watching TV and they talked about something
- 45:33Speaker 2: that was in you said, wow, I didn't know, let
- 45:35Speaker 2: me go look that up. Now you just go right
- 45:37Speaker 2: to the computer and google it. What did you do then? Well,
- 45:42Speaker 2: I don't know what could you do? Maybe you had
- 45:43Speaker 2: some books that would have it in there, but probably not.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Probably Where would you go to a bookstore the next day?
- 45:47Speaker 2: A library?
- 45:48Speaker 7: What?
- 45:49Speaker 2: There was nothing you could do? How did we live
- 45:51Speaker 2: like that? How did we even do a radio show? Look?
- 45:54Speaker 2: I got all these computers in front of me with
- 45:55Speaker 2: everything out of them. How did we do anything back then?
- 46:00Speaker 2: I really don't know how did we we? I guess
- 46:03Speaker 2: we had newspapers stacked up, and every newsroom had a million,
- 46:06Speaker 2: big huge books, all these almanacs and all these sort
- 46:10Speaker 2: of things up there. Uh Zorin Mamdani talks to the
- 46:13Speaker 2: president all the time, but he's still crazy. Mam Donnie
- 46:19Speaker 2: uh lit'sten know him yelling and screaming at a rally
- 46:21Speaker 2: about Tom Holman. It sounds like a reasonable guy doesn't
- 46:33Speaker 2: eat now. Tom Holman was asked about Mamdannie.
- 46:36Speaker 16: I have not met with the mayor in New York City.
- 46:38Speaker 16: I did meet with the mayor, the prior mayor, Eric Adams,
- 46:41Speaker 16: because he asked for me, So so we'll see what happens.
- 46:44Speaker 16: I have not met with Mondonnnie. The only time I've
- 46:46Speaker 16: ever seen heaven it's up in Albany, New York, before
- 46:49Speaker 16: he ran from mayor, and he's screaming and yelling and
- 46:51Speaker 16: fishing his way through state police. Try to get a
- 46:52Speaker 16: moment with me, but I was too busy eating my
- 46:55Speaker 16: app I'm and ignore him.
- 46:56Speaker 2: No, I can't imagine if they met two guys more
- 46:59Speaker 2: inc impatible, Mom Donnie, the young elitist left wing kook
- 47:04Speaker 2: Ivy League, and the old lunch bucket upstate New York,
- 47:09Speaker 2: Tom Holman, sort of a guy. So the President is
- 47:11Speaker 2: threatening to cut funding for ICE Front for states if
- 47:17Speaker 2: they fight ICE, if they don't follow the law. He's
- 47:20Speaker 2: threatening to cut their funding if you try to be
- 47:23Speaker 2: a sanctuary city.
- 47:24Speaker 7: Additionally, starting February first, we're not making any payments to
- 47:28Speaker 7: sanctuary cities or states having sanctuary cities because they do
- 47:33Speaker 7: everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American
- 47:36Speaker 7: citizens and it breeds fraud and crime and all.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Of the other problems that comes.
- 47:41Speaker 7: So we're not making any payment to anybody that supports
- 47:44Speaker 7: sanctuary cities.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Some of that payment is locked in through congressionals, but
- 47:49Speaker 2: a lot of it isn't, and it funds transit all
- 47:52Speaker 2: sorts of stuff. Would that do to a city, Mam Donnie.
- 47:55Speaker 17: Any cut in funding would have a significant impact on
- 47:59Speaker 17: the city's a bit to not only fulfill the budget
- 48:01Speaker 17: that it has today, but also to fulfill an agenda
- 48:04Speaker 17: that would ensure that more New Yorkers can afford to
- 48:06Speaker 17: stay in this city.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Here's Hockel, this.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Is just a threat to intimidate states like New York
- 48:13Speaker 1: into bowing into submission.
- 48:15Speaker 2: And that is something we'll never do. So I say this,
- 48:18Speaker 2: you touch any more money from the State of New York,
- 48:20Speaker 2: we'll see you in court. Oh my god, Now she's right.
- 48:25Speaker 2: It is intimidation, trying to get her to bow. And yeah,
- 48:29Speaker 2: what he's trying to get her to do is actually
- 48:31Speaker 2: follow American law, enforce American laws. That's what he wants
- 48:35Speaker 2: to do. Follow the law, enforce the law. She can
- 48:40Speaker 2: go to court, she can sue. The top legal scholars
- 48:43Speaker 2: of the world have all said the lawsuit would have
- 48:46Speaker 2: absolutely no chance of succeeding. But does that stop mom, Donnie?
- 48:52Speaker 17: Our values and our laws cannot be bargaining chips. I
- 48:57Speaker 17: will always defend the city, every single person who calls
- 49:01Speaker 17: the city home, even in the face of threats from
- 49:04Speaker 17: the federal administration to withhold funds.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Our values are loss. But the problem is it's the
- 49:09Speaker 2: president wants the law enforced. It's Mom Donnie that wants
- 49:12Speaker 2: the law ignored. You know, if they get into court,
- 49:14Speaker 2: they might find out this whole sanctuary city thing is
- 49:17Speaker 2: totally illegal. Sanctuary city sanctuary from the law is totally unconstitutional.
- 49:23Speaker 2: So if I were them, I wouldn't try this. Hey,
- 49:27Speaker 2: when we come back, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred
- 49:30Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 49:33Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Give WR a bre said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 49:41Speaker 1: hear mar Simone and all the WR hosts in an instance.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Now back to the Marximon Show on wor.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Bill in
- 49:54Speaker 2: New Jersey. Bill, how you doing?
- 49:57Speaker 14: Helloo?
- 49:58Speaker 2: Mark?
- 49:59Speaker 18: You know, I just Mandami belly aching about funding. We
- 50:02Speaker 18: need this, we need that, we need money. Without it,
- 50:05Speaker 18: we're going to collapse. And it reminds me of all
- 50:08Speaker 18: in the Family Day's TV show when they're sang everybody
- 50:13Speaker 18: pulled their weight, and back when I grew up, everybody
- 50:16Speaker 18: pulled their weight. There were no bloodshucking people for the
- 50:19Speaker 18: most part. But I'm thinking, how did all this happen?
- 50:22Speaker 18: And I'm thinking about, you know, in the eighties, crack
- 50:25Speaker 18: became very big, Cocaine became very big, and you had
- 50:30Speaker 18: these crack moms having babies. Now they're thirty five, forty
- 50:33Speaker 18: five years old. They don't work, they want a bloodshot,
- 50:36Speaker 18: more money, and it comes down to give us more,
- 50:39Speaker 18: give us more. What the hell happened?
- 50:42Speaker 2: Mark, Well, it's a lot of things all at once.
- 50:44Speaker 2: First of all, you had these universities that over the
- 50:46Speaker 2: last few decades became so left wing. They became these
- 50:50Speaker 2: socialist and doctrination camps. Then you had fake news just
- 50:55Speaker 2: get more and more and more corrupt, covering everything up.
- 50:58Speaker 2: And then you had the Democrats. The parties shift from
- 51:01Speaker 2: you know, the party of the working class to uh,
- 51:04Speaker 2: let's get everybody on marijuana, on weed, let's get everybody
- 51:07Speaker 2: on welfare, Let's get everybody on government programs. That way,
- 51:11Speaker 2: they'll be obligated to us, they'll vote for us. It
- 51:13Speaker 2: was just all this stuff coming together. How do you
- 51:15Speaker 2: fix it? I don't know. I mean, can you imagine
- 51:18Speaker 2: if Donald Trump wasn't there, this tough street fighter battling this.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Imagine if you had a tame, mild politician trying to
- 51:25Speaker 2: fight this. Let's go to Pete and Marlborough Pete. How
- 51:29Speaker 2: you doing.
- 51:30Speaker 13: I'm doing well, Mark.
- 51:32Speaker 9: I have a question.
- 51:34Speaker 13: All these people Letitia James call me, when are they
- 51:38Speaker 13: going to be prosecuted? I don't understand, or when are
- 51:41Speaker 13: they going to go to trial? They keep on delaying this,
- 51:43Speaker 13: and you know, I'm sure frustrated with BONDI.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Well, I don't think it's the problem with Letitia James.
- 51:52Speaker 2: They keep going in these left wing courts and they
- 51:53Speaker 2: don't delay. The case gets tossed out, so they keep
- 51:56Speaker 2: looking at other cases they're trying. It's not easy, you know,
- 51:59Speaker 2: It's it's a pretty slanted legal system too. Call me
- 52:03Speaker 2: definitely a slimy guy, but you're right, so far they
- 52:09Speaker 2: haven't actually made any progress on any of these. Let's
- 52:12Speaker 2: go to John in New York. John, how you doing?
- 52:16Speaker 9: Hey?
- 52:16Speaker 2: Mark?
- 52:17Speaker 9: A quick question. You know, I'm a Trump supporter, as
- 52:19Speaker 9: you know, and I just I how did I know that? Well?
- 52:24Speaker 9: I am question why did President Trump put his name
- 52:29Speaker 9: on the Kennedy Center. I mean, I'm with Trump on
- 52:32Speaker 9: ninety nine percent of the issues, but I don't agree
- 52:34Speaker 9: with slapping your name a sitting president.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Well, he didn't do it. He didn't do it. The
- 52:38Speaker 2: Board of the Kennedy Center voted to do it. Now,
- 52:40Speaker 2: it's mostly a frenzy as who were appointed to the board.
- 52:43Speaker 2: But I think one reason they wanted to do it
- 52:46Speaker 2: was they didn't realize this until they got there. The
- 52:49Speaker 2: Kennedy Center was in total disrepair, crumbling, the building in
- 52:53Speaker 2: total decay. Trump came in and fixed it, turned it around.
- 52:56Speaker 2: That's why they wanted to do that for him. Does
- 52:59Speaker 2: that help care? All right? Thank you?
- 53:01Speaker 9: Mark? OK.
- 53:02Speaker 2: So, it's a little ob noxious to go put your
- 53:04Speaker 2: name on everything, but that's Trump. He's been doing it
- 53:09Speaker 2: all his life. Every building was Trump Tower, Trump Palace,
- 53:12Speaker 2: Trump this, Trump that. It's a little ob noxious, but
- 53:15Speaker 2: it's it's the Trump style. Well, let's go to Bob
- 53:18Speaker 2: in Montvale, New Jersey. Bob, how you doing hanging in there?
- 53:22Speaker 3: Mark Banks? You know this Lakewood School District story? We'll
- 53:27Speaker 3: never make you know News twelve at a Bergen Record.
- 53:30Speaker 2: What story you're talking about?
- 53:34Speaker 3: Lakewood School System was taken over by Phil Murphy today
- 53:38Speaker 3: because they're bankrupt now in New Jersey here fifty.
- 53:43Speaker 2: I hate to break it to you, this is not
- 53:45Speaker 2: the most exciting story. That's why it doesn't get too
- 53:47Speaker 2: much publicity.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Well, it will be in New Jersey when we pay
- 53:50Speaker 3: the tax.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Well, all right, but you know there might be something
- 53:53Speaker 2: going on in Ice Loup Long Island. That's a big
- 53:55Speaker 2: thing there, but it's not going to be a big story.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Oh did he hang up? He hung up? He don't.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Don't I hurt your feelings. I don't mean it. It's
- 54:06Speaker 2: just you know, in the newspaper, in the newsroom of
- 54:09Speaker 2: the TV network, they have these editorial board meetings where
- 54:12Speaker 2: you're come in and you pitch stories. And when you
- 54:16Speaker 2: pitch this, the room does not light up at the
- 54:18Speaker 2: thought of this story. It's not that exciting. Let's go
- 54:21Speaker 2: to Lou and Queen's Lou, how you doing?
- 54:24Speaker 1: And Mark?
- 54:24Speaker 14: I think I love Steve Moore. I mean I agree
- 54:27Speaker 14: with his economic opinions on a lot of stuff. You know,
- 54:31Speaker 14: I think you and I are right. I think the
- 54:33Speaker 14: credit card company should have a cap on their interest rates,
- 54:37Speaker 14: which are.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I mean that's my But what the hell
- 54:41Speaker 2: do I know? I mean, Steve Moore than more of
- 54:42Speaker 2: an expert on this. You could put a cap and
- 54:46Speaker 2: on how much interest they can charge. But then what
- 54:48Speaker 2: that would mean The effect would be they wouldn't give
- 54:51Speaker 2: credit cards to a lot of people, a lot less
- 54:54Speaker 2: people would be able to get a credit card and
- 54:56Speaker 2: would have a bad effect on us if mostly the
- 55:00Speaker 2: lower and lower income people that couldn't get a credit card,
- 55:04Speaker 2: and it would have a negative effect. So again we're
- 55:06Speaker 2: not expert. Steve Moore actually is can do all the
- 55:09Speaker 2: big calculations on this. Hey, when we come back, Jimmy
- 55:12Speaker 2: Fayla will be with us. One of our favorite moments
- 55:14Speaker 2: of the week, Jimmy Fayla every Thursday. We'll talk to
- 55:17Speaker 2: him next on seven to ten wor welcome back to
- 55:22Speaker 2: the Mark Simone Show. Well, hey, we got a big
- 55:27Speaker 2: new hit show every night at nine o'clock, Jimmy Fayla.
- 55:30Speaker 2: He's on WR nine to midnight every weeknight. Listen to
- 55:34Speaker 2: him tonight. It's an excellent show. It's very funny, it's
- 55:37Speaker 2: a very interesting. And don't forget Saturday nights at ten.
- 55:40Speaker 2: He does the best late night show on TV on
- 55:43Speaker 2: the Fox News Channel. There's no better monologue in TV.
- 55:46Speaker 2: The Fox News Channel Saturday nights at ten and every
- 55:49Speaker 2: weeknight nine o'clock on WR, Jimmy Fayla, How you doing.
- 55:54Speaker 2: I'm good?
- 55:55Speaker 9: You know.
- 55:55Speaker 3: I just had Tom Homan on the show two days
- 55:57Speaker 3: ago with the Secret Service, and he was in my
- 56:01Speaker 3: studio right here, and I had tried to give him
- 56:04Speaker 3: a list of American citizens I'm trying to deport and
- 56:07Speaker 3: he would not take it. I'm disappointed to say.
- 56:10Speaker 2: Well he did. You. You know, it's a big thing.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Whenever you interviewed Tom Holman trying to get him to laugh,
- 56:16Speaker 2: nobody's been able to do it so far. Were you?
- 56:18Speaker 14: Oh, I know, that's what I'm going to tell you.
- 56:20Speaker 3: I get laughs out of him here and there because
- 56:23Speaker 3: I asked him silly questions and he'll give you a
- 56:26Speaker 3: little something. But you're right, he's a very intense guy. Yeah, everybody.
- 56:31Speaker 3: I said this on the show. Though he has deported
- 56:33Speaker 3: so many people that the eighties Bad Foreigner changed their
- 56:36Speaker 3: name to citizens.
- 56:39Speaker 2: But as a great comedian, you would not want him
- 56:41Speaker 2: in the front row, would you.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Well, you wouldn't want him in the kitchen either.
- 56:46Speaker 2: The way staff will get a little nervous. So, hey,
- 56:52Speaker 2: we're talking about this. Before the Democratic Party was the
- 56:54Speaker 2: party of the working class. You thought of the symbol
- 56:57Speaker 2: of them would be the lunch bucket, the hardhead. Now
- 56:59Speaker 2: it's it's the party of people that don't work with
- 57:02Speaker 2: nose rings and pink hair. How did this happen?
- 57:06Speaker 3: It really is crazy how it is morphed into what
- 57:11Speaker 3: it is now, because you're right, they used to stand
- 57:13Speaker 3: up for small businesses. Now they burned them.
- 57:15Speaker 14: Down if something goes wrong in their.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Town, which is not the way to do things. And
- 57:20Speaker 3: it's angry white women. That's who they really are. It's
- 57:23Speaker 3: the party of angry white women with too much free
- 57:26Speaker 3: time on their hands. That's why I'm serious. When you
- 57:29Speaker 3: watch all those protest videos, who's out there screaming at Ice?
- 57:33Speaker 3: It's your crazy ant. You never got married and had
- 57:36Speaker 3: kids and probably needs an extra cat, so she stops
- 57:39Speaker 3: calling ICE agents the Gestapo. And I think that's the
- 57:42Speaker 3: biggest challenge right now. It's like America is having its
- 57:45Speaker 3: Thanksgiving in the streets every day instead of in that
- 57:48Speaker 3: living room once a year where we had these arguments.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Yeah you would, we had angry liberals, but now it's
- 57:53Speaker 2: like spoiled brat liberals who would have the nerve to
- 57:57Speaker 2: drive their car into a police car.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Who would have that kind of nerve, Yeah, yeah, that
- 58:02Speaker 3: is bananas. And the fact that they're trying to frame
- 58:05Speaker 3: this through a lens where that isn't a factor. You know,
- 58:10Speaker 3: they're trying to tell you like, that shouldn't be a
- 58:12Speaker 3: factor here, like the agent should have known. I'm like, hey,
- 58:15Speaker 3: you stand in front of a car when somebody steps
- 58:17Speaker 3: on the gas. You know you got millions of a second.
- 58:20Speaker 3: The guy got a hit.
- 58:21Speaker 14: You know, it's crazy.
- 58:22Speaker 3: But that's where they're losing the room. You see, what
- 58:25Speaker 3: we feel as guys who cover media is we see
- 58:27Speaker 3: so much of this that you feel like this must
- 58:30Speaker 3: be half the country, but it's really not. It's you know,
- 58:33Speaker 3: the squeaky wheel gets the most grief. So it's always
- 58:36Speaker 3: these crazy people and the ones getting paid. And you
- 58:39Speaker 3: know this as a New Yorker, it's the same people
- 58:42Speaker 3: at every protest. You know, when I'm out on Sixth Avenue,
- 58:45Speaker 3: the Free Palestine guy is the you know, the climate
- 58:49Speaker 3: change guy is the anti side, Okay, and in all
- 58:52Speaker 3: five instances, that guy is usually wearing high heels.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Yeah. So yeah, let's say you're driving the police the
- 58:59Speaker 2: lights one they're going to pull you over. Maybe it's
- 59:02Speaker 2: a I'm gonna get mad, I'm gonna argue, maybe, but
- 59:06Speaker 2: would you have the nerve to turn your car around?
- 59:08Speaker 2: You know what I'll drive right into his car. I'll
- 59:10Speaker 2: smash his car first. That takes all a lot of its.
- 59:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, that's insane to me. Like I will
- 59:16Speaker 3: tell you this, when I was driving a taxi. You
- 59:20Speaker 3: go to taxi school for real to get licensed. Do
- 59:23Speaker 3: you take a task and they kind of walk you
- 59:25Speaker 3: through the ins and outs you need to know about
- 59:27Speaker 3: the meter and stuff like that, And they give you
- 59:29Speaker 3: a lecture about getting pulled over by the cops and
- 59:32Speaker 3: they say, just understand. You know you're gonna get pulled
- 59:33Speaker 3: over a lot on this job. Just stay calm, yes
- 59:37Speaker 3: or no, sir. You know, when you get pulled over
- 59:39Speaker 3: by a cop, they're like, the odds of something bad
- 59:40Speaker 3: happening to you are zero unless you get.
- 59:43Speaker 9: Into it with the cop.
- 59:44Speaker 3: And you've got to acknowledge that the odds change every
- 59:48Speaker 3: time you do something physical. And that's what they're trying
- 59:51Speaker 3: to pretend is irrelevant in this case out in Minneapolis,
- 59:54Speaker 3: is you know, will the cops should just know? And
- 59:57Speaker 3: that's not how this that's some of us work.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Man.
- 59:58Speaker 3: So I'm with you, and I think the country is
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: with us. I actually I actually feel better about this
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: than most people do because I think the average person
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: is looking at these protests, you know, just like, who
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: are these losers? You know, it's like you're sending the
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: wrong people. I always say this about them. I'm conservative,
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: I'm you know, the pro life crowd.
- 1:00:16Speaker 14: They send too many of my.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Fat cousins who wear fanny packs. Okay, they don't make
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: life look that exciting.
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: I think you gotta.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: I think the pro life crowd needs to bring out
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: some better looking people who look like they're having fun.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: You know, give my cousins the weekend off.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Well, hey, Jimmy fayalis on every night nine to midnight
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: right here on WR and he does the best Saturday
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: night show Fox News Channel ten o'clock Saturday nights. I
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: was waiting to watch you one Saturday night. It was
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: two weeks ago, and that's all a sudden they captured
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Maduro and you weren't there. Well, you probably had a
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: whole show ready to go. That must drive you nuts.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: We were ready. Yeah.
- 1:00:54Speaker 12: You know.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: The thing is we get bumped probably like twice a
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: year because Trump likes to do his attacks on Saturday, like,
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: and they blew up a ran. That was the other
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: time we got on. So yeah, if you turn on
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: the TV on Saturday night. You don't see me, it
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: means somebody has been bombed or captured. That's how it works,
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: and that is what happened with the Medua one.
- 1:01:15Speaker 12: But I laughed.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: Did you know the track suit that he was wearing
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: that they changed him into sold out online?
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: That is good. Well, it didn't look like it looked
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: like a dictator capture kind of tracksuit. It didn't. It
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: looked like a prison jumpsuit. It didn't look like a
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: great tracksuit.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: Well, well, he was in a gray Nike track suit
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: and apparently because it was in so many means, people
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: actually went out and bought it and it sold out.
- 1:01:42Speaker 14: We tried to.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Get one for my show last week because I was
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: gonna wear one on the air the night he got captured,
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: and we couldn't get when they said it sold out online,
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: like immediately.
- 1:01:52Speaker 12: First we had the Air Jordan, Now we have the
- 1:01:54Speaker 12: Air Maduro.
- 1:01:55Speaker 14: Who knew?
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Who knew?
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy Taylor. The New York Giants looks like they're
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: very close to signing John Harbau the coach. Didn't this
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: guy just get fired? Why would you want to guy?
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: It just got fired from a team.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Well, he's, well, I don't know if you've been following
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: the Giants, we'll well, we take we take pretty much anybody.
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:02:16Speaker 12: You know, if the.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Giants were a cruise ship, they'd hire the captain of
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: the Titanic the way things have been going lately. But
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: the truth is he's a big name coach who brings
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: a lot of intensity and attention back to the franchise,
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: and a lot of times when teams make that move,
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: it reinvigorates the fan base. I mean, you think of
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: the Giants right now when you watch those games, Mark
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: the stands look empty, but it's because everybody's on the
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: roof of the stadium threatening to jump. Okay, this this
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: will keep people in the seats watching football.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: So I'm excited. All right, that's a pretty good answer.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: I didn't think about that. You're a revenue wise, it'd
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: be very good. So hey, tonight, nine o'clock on w R.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Who do you have on tonight?
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Oh? We got a good one tonight. So Jebra Leah,
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: who is just at the Trump White House for that
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: big bill signing the abandoned men from competing against women.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: She's gonna be in the studio. Congressman Andy Biggs. It's
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: gonna get a little rowdy. That's my only promise. Things
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: have calmed down since Tom Holman and the Secret Service left,
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: so we're gonna get back to normal. We don't have
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: to hide our drugs anymore now that they're gone.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Well, listen to Jimmy Fayler tonight nine to midnight, every weeknight,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: nine to midnight, seven to ten w R. And make
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: sure you watch the Saturday show on Fox. It's excellent
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: ten o'clock every Saturday night. Great work, Jimmy Fayla, Thanks
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: for being with us. You're the best buddy. See you, Mark,
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: all right, take care. Yeah, make sure you hear that
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: show tonight nine to midnight. You'll love it. And then
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: don't forget at noon it's Buck and Clay. And then
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: three o'clock. You got the most listened to radio show
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: in America. Sean Hannity got Jesse Kelly at six. I'm
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: here every day ten to noon on seven to ten
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: WR here for New York. Here's more.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Mark Simone on sevenen woar.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Well, hey, it looks like Giants are going to sign
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: John Harbaugh. It looks closer and closer and closer. It
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: would be an eye popping five year contract at twenty
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: million a year, one hundred million dollar contract. That would
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: put him and the very very very top salary of
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: NFL coaches. I think Andy Reid of Kansas City, Sean
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Payton Denver, I think those are the only other ones
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: at that level. Twenty million a year. You got to
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: give this guy credit, Harbo just I mean, for a
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: guy that just got fired, that's a pretty good deal.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: That's a probably would love to sit in. It was
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: a job interview today or was it yesterday? He came
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: to meet with the Giants. All the owners were there,
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Steve Tish and John Merra and Chris Merra, and they
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: had a long job interview. I don't know how that goes.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: You know, usually they'll say, why do you lead your
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: why'd you leave your previous job? Well, they threw me
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: the hell out. I was fired. So that doesn't sound
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: like a great job interview. But I think Jimmy Fayala
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: is right. They just feel even if it's not going
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: to be the greatest coach, even if it wasn't great
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: for the Ravens, it's great for them and it's a
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: big name. It'll fill the seats, it'll bring them attention, revenue,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: and you know, sometimes a guy gets fired and he's
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: not the greatest in the world, but he's still better
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: whenever you got so it looks like he will be
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: the coach. He'll sign it pretty soon. Hey, tomorrow sunset
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: will be after five pm. That's the first day that's
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: happened in a long time, many many couple of months.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: So the days are getting longer. First sunset after five tomorrow,
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: where out of time. I'll be back tomorrow ten to noon,
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: see you then, thanks for everything. Seven to ten wo
