- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome into another episode of Broncos for breakfast.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: I am your host today, or a trickle in joining me is Dylan Iván Arx.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: As Nick is out for the day with some stuff going on.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: But Dylan, it is a wonderful Friday morning.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: The weekend is almost here.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: How are you doing?
- 0:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm dead tired.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_03]: I got to work at about 10 30 my time last night got and got into bed about 11 30 and Try to get to sleep as quick as I could because I knew I'd be helping you out here this morning, but Never the last I'm here to talk Broncos football and happy to be here
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if I know anything about anything, I know how it is to be tired.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: So much so that it's become a gag on Friday night shows, but last night, I didn't have the best sleep.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I deal with insomnia and I don't have medication for it at the moment.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: But on top of that, kid was tired of feeling sick.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: We wouldn't saw the new Mario movie.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: And after we got home, she started complaining about her throat and her tummy and her head all
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: She ended up sleeping in our room on the floor and I was just about to fall asleep when I feel a tap tap tap on my back from from the little one.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah that that kept me up for, you know, I had to get up and go deal with what she had going on.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: And when I laid back down it was
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: But new Mario movies, all right, definitely a good kids movie, but we're not here to talk about that.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: We're here to talk about Broncos football, but before we can do that, we're going to say a lot of some people here in the chat.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: We got gay to a game in saying good morning Nick Eric and Dylan, what's good, broadcast country, no Nick today.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: So you guys get a reprieve off of him.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: Fortunately, you got a break from me on Monday as.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: It was three o'clock in the morning on Monday and I hadn't been to sleep at and so I messaged and taken down like, I am not able to do the show today.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: We had Todd Austin, folks, and good morning, Broncos Country.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: And we have to have glassman just come in and share in the blue and orange heart.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, we're going to be talking about our draft questions and nightmares for prospects for the Broncos, not necessarily all at 62, but throughout the draft just guys that we really like as we're going to avoid, you know, position by position and all that and I mean, do we really need to do quarterback do you want to quarterback.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_03]: not really, but I think, you know, I think we get avoid doing quarterback.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if we have time at the end and if we want to do a mock draft within the show we can, but we could also throw in a quick conversation about some of those late round quarterbacks that, you know, maybe you can come in and compete with Sam Ellinger for that third fourth spot this year.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe somebody in like, fourth, fifth, sixth round range that maybe can move on, Denver kid would make Denver a little bit more willing to trade.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: Jared Sidham, who has a lot of interest on the trade market, maybe we can get to that, but first off, let's go into running backs and for running backs.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to go with your draft crush at running back or your nightmare prospect for the Broncos at running back?
- 3:27[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think maybe we should start with the nightmare because I am pretty sure we have the same guy here and I know there's a lot of mixed feelings on in between Broncos country, but that's no dirty engineering price.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: Projects very similarly to RJ Harvey's role, which is what kills me when I see him in Minecraft 62 despite don't don't believe what the Minecraft we did just a couple days ago.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_03]: I have no part of that But price Similarly, I know he's got speed explosiveness and that a lot of people mentioned kicker turns Maybe taking some of that off of Marvin Mames Jr's plate
- 4:05[SPEAKER_03]: But the fact is, he's a fumble machine.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_03]: I know Eric, you brought this up several times.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: I believe it's at least his pasties in the ones every 37 touches.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_03]: I believe it was.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_03]: And the low volume that he has in terms of carries to be fumbling so often is just absolutely inexcusable, especially trying to take him at 62 just makes no sense to me, I would prefer taking a different kind of back,
- 4:35[SPEAKER_03]: rather than Jerry Price who low-carries, high-fumble rate just doesn't do it for me.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and now for me, I'm not going to put words in your mouth, but for me, the nightmare aspect of this is specifically Jerry and Price at 62.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: Now if he managed to fall and he was there at 108, all right, fine.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: I can get on board with that.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: He brings enough as a kick return to I think that there's solid value there.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: offensively, it's just too much crossover with RJ Harvey and in an instant.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: Harvey has shown he can give you a little bit more value on third down.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's improved as a block of this last year and has that receiving ability.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: But the way they are as runners is very similar.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Neither one really brings you that power and with price, he's an explosive runner who has good vision at the college football level, but so did Harvey and we saw how that transition was to the NFL and with some of prices issues as a runner, it suggests that he can have some of those issues as well.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: The contact balance isn't
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't the best, but it comes down to ball security in this day and age where fumbles are so important.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: And he's put the ball in the ground three times within 10 yards of the end zone over the last two years.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: He carries the ball very loosely.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't carry a high and tight, which is a correctable issue.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: But it is a mental issue with it, because I know at Notre Dame, I think it was Bob McGin.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't article about this.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was him who talked about it how Notre Dame was trying really hard to get him to carry up, carry a high end tight.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: And that was like their primary focus for two years with him, and he just wouldn't do it.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: And that is, and he went on, if it was Bob McGin, I may be getting him mixed up with somebody else.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: But whoever it was anyways, they talked about how that
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: played a big part in how limited he was in getting the touches on offense, not just Jeremiah love being on the team.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: They wanted to use Jeremiah love a little bit less this last year and get used the price a little bit more.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: And the way that it was described is they were looking at 15 to 20 and about 10 to 15 for the two backs.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: And they just couldn't do it because of the issues with
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: So it kept him on that limited roll.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: So at 62, it's a little bit rough, but for a draft crush here, I mean, there's a lot of ways that I can go for a draft question running back.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: I have quite a few of them.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: This is a guy who isn't going to require a large investment in he's probably going to be a six or seven thumb pick.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the diver doesn't have his front face.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: They may have to move up, but chip trianum out of Toledo.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's older only one year of success at the at the collegiate game, although he did have some splash plays when he was with Ohio State and a couple of and I believe his other stop that he was at before he was at Toledo.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: He has shown success elsewhere, but one year over a thousand yards, he can be that three third down.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: that third down back, third and short, third and long, he has the press protection, it's there, he has the ability as a receiver, not a great receiver and not like a great pass blocker, but more than enough, more than adequate, brings that power inside.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: He just has a pretty good skill set that fits really well with what the Broncos currently have in the running back room and what they need in the running back room.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I love that, and especially as a late round option for the Broncos, because there's not too many backs.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_03]: I want to have a high investment in and this year's draft, but one of them, and this is a pretty obvious one here, and I know there's a lot of Broncos country like him as well.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_03]: Mike Washington, Jr. and of Arkansas.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_03]: Big back.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_03]: 43 speed of the combine.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, he's had some fumble issues, but he did clean it up quite a bit this year.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he adds an element to this Broncos backfield that they don't really have right now.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_03]: And that's that power back.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: And even explosiveness in the open field as much as I like JK Dobbins the player when he is on the field, which is not very often.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_03]: And RJ Harvey, they just don't have that power that.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_03]: Mike Washington possesses and you'd kind of need that thunder and lightning.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_03]: We haven't had that in quite a while on the Broncos.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_03]: So I can imagine, you know, JK Dobbins, hopefully being that third kind of running back and you have Mike Washington is that hammer with RJ either catching bulls on the back feel or being that lightning once defenses are beaten down.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: I think it'd be a great pick even for the Broncos at 62.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I really like Washington.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think he would be a really good fit.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: And he's definitely one of those guys that you look at is, all right, he can be that one A1B with Harvey, if as long as Harvey continues to develop as a runner, as a potential replacement for JK Dobbins, either after this year, after the two years are up with that he got.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: So you have that time there where you can sit there and work with Washington as well.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: Have that guy in case.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I really like Washington.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like he's one of those guys that you have almost half to take at 62.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you can trade down and get him.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm probably fine with him at 62, not trying to get that say otherwise.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: But if you could trade down and get a little bit extra in return for him and still be able to get him.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: All right, great.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe something kind of similar to what they did with RJ Harvey last year with those two trade downs getting a little extra.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Um, with that.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I like Harvey.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's definitely a guy to look at to be a J. K. Dobbins replacement and not just a third option in the room.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like my guy, Chick-fil-A Adam would be.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: He's not, you know, unless he really exceeds expectations.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to be that top guy.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's just going to be that third back in the rotation.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's if you're lucky in the hands of making the transition to the NFL.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: Because we're talking about a six or seven from a pick with him.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: And there's no guarantee he is.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: But Washington, uh, I saw,
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see somebody say this, but I was thinking about it and you know what, I think my question kind of runs a little bit like a shark, you know, he can have to take you off guard as that physical demeanor, but speaking of sharks.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, as our presenting sponsor for today is Surfshark.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: Bronco's Country never before has online privacy been more important.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_03]: That's where Surfshark comes in and it's a game changer.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: Surfshark is a virtual private network, which covers all your online activity.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_03]: Using a VPN is like wearing pants, all the important stuff stays private and secure when you walk out the front door.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_03]: Once your device connects to the internet, all the information is encrypted, which keeps your online activity hidden from all the snoopers and trackers.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, raise your hand if like me.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: You've served something kind of random, like price is on a Broncos jersey.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: And next thing you know, you're getting jersey ads every time you open one of your social media apps or browse online.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: Thankfully today sponsor Surfshark VPN can help us out with that.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: A VPN allows me to mask my real IP address so that my online activity is no longer being tracked.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_03]: They also offer Surfshark alert and it's absolutely indispensable.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_03]: The only thing scary, then forgetting a password is finding out that a password has been leaked online somewhere, the Surfshark alert feature can help you with this by constantly scanning the web for your personal info, things like your email address, passwords, and even credit card details, and it sends you an incident alert if any of them appear in a data breach, it can be a lifesaver.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: So take control of your online privacy and protect yourself against that
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: It comes with the risk for you 30 day money back near and T go to surf shark dot com slash mile high or just go to surf shark dot com and user code mile high and check out to get four extra months at surf shark VPN again that surf shark dot com slash mile high with our code mile high and by the way the URL and code can also be found in our show notes down below.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: And thank you, sir, shark for the sponsorship.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: And we have Glenn Ashley coming in.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good evening, Eric, Dylan, and Broncos Country.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: Happy Easter to all those who celebrate definitely to those who celebrate Easter.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend in a very, very happy Easter to you.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Draft Crush at Running Back is Jam Miller.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: Since the mice is a great fit in the six seventh rounds, our premium picks need to go to defense attack.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, safety tied in my inside line back or off with the blind.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want price either.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: We already dropped too many passes in a ball game.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: I last an hour going to go into this discussion a little bit late and tonight's episode, tonight's show about focusing certain slots for on positions like we've got to take one of these positions at this spot and so on and so forth, but I get where you're coming from.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's not my mentality.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: I hate that I think you're limiting yourself and you can really be passing on some really good players in order to do that as for Jam Miller, I think he's a really good system fit, but for me, I'm not there with you with the sixth or seventh round aspect of him for me he has a seventh undrafted, I don't know how much he brings really to an offense outside of between the tackles downhill power style running.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and he also has
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: some other concerns that may keep them off the board for a team like the Broncos who they really are looking for that leadership qualities and trades and stuff like that and at least in previous years have suggested and not so much guys who for lack of a better way to put it maybe a little immature with think with how they are off the field.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: So that's something to keep
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: Not as much as you, Glenn, obviously, but he's fine.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: I just not sure if he's going to be the guy for a team like the brothers.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and like we mentioned, there's a lot of backs that you could take kind of in that range.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm more a fan of chip as Eric was talking up before Jade nods a guy has been high on a lot of injuries, but he's explosive when he's healthy and High football IQ and willing blocker, but I think I'd rather have maybe a Jade nod, maybe a healing black or chip probably in those later rounds rather than jam.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we also have Peter Middleton coming to saying, hi, all from Singapore.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you are doing well this morning for me.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure what time it is in Singapore, but whatever time it is, hope you're having a wonderful that time of day, whether it be afternoon, morning, evening, whichever may be in central Supreme, saying, morning, boys, morning to you, sent a no Supreme glad you can join us on this fine Friday morning.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: Now, moving on, why do you see, Ver?
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Why does the universe interesting?
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: Because I haven't released it yet, but on my big board, I actually split receivers up into three different groups.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, you have your big body receivers.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: You have your more traditional kind of cross type receivers than any heavy slot.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, Dylan, who's your, who's, who's,
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of want to split them up into the different groups, but that can just be very difficult.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: So just overall, Dylan, who's your draft crush at YB-Ziver?
- 16:06[SPEAKER_03]: Man, there's a handful of guys out here, and I'm very much like the YB-Ziver class in general on a depth, but if I have to pick one, I think for me, it's between either Skylar Bell or CJ Daniels.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_03]: I think I'm going to go with CJ Daniel, just because I like his, his, his job ballability is 50, 50 ballability.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_03]: Um, he's had some injuries as well, which always annoying, but he's a six, two, two, five, Ramana, Ramana, four, five, eight, 40 at his pro day.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_03]: Create separation pretty late and I kind of need that with these receivers.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of guys on our team who can't create separation, let alone catch the ball.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I also like, uh, like I mentioned that.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_03]: He's a 50 50 guy.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_03]: He kind of slots into where Sutton is, right?
- 17:01[SPEAKER_03]: And not necessarily a long-term replacement.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_03]: But he could possibly grow into that role and with sudden getting older and seemingly having problems with drops year to year, which is very annoying.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: But it would be nice know that you have that kind of jump or receiver once Sutton's off the field and needs a breather.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: So it's funny you mentioned C.J.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: Daniels and Skylar Bell because as I'm looking at it and thinking about it for my big receivers C.J.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: Daniels was going to be my draft crush for my kind of more versatile wide receivers guys you can line up in the slot outside multiple roles outside Skylar Bell was my draft crush for that and then the slot just so that they're Kevin Coleman out of Missouri I really like when he brings in the slot.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: specifically.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: So, say mine here.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, CJ Daniels, big guy.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: He actually runs a really good routes for a guy at his eyes.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: Does have some route running.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: You want issues with, you know, the speed variance to catch defender sleeping, the in and out of brakes getting low, helping him brake and snap off those brakes, instead of just kind of routing him out.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: Skylar Bell is probably one of the best route runners in this class if not the best route runner in this class everything is so clean, so consistent, so nuanced and I mean.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: not to throw it out there at a negative connotation, but it's very Jerry Judy like with the route running.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_01]: At least as a prospect going into it, because Jerry Judy was a really good route runner going in.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't waste his time with those TikTok routes that we see all over social media from him now.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: He just never developed beyond that and sort of developing those that those bad habits as a route runner.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: but Skylar Bell, obviously he can still develop him, but he's such a clean route runner, so easy to like him as well.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm glad you mentioned both those guys.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: So since we actually had run the same thought, I wanted to see a bird with the draft crush, what about draft nightmare?
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if we're gonna be in the same thought line here.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_03]: Possibly, and it's a guy who's stuck kind of rose because of his overwhelming speed, maybe the fastest in the draft Mississippi states Brennan Thompson.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_03]: You know, a lot to like there with the speed, obviously, but not a very good route runner, smaller frame, he's 5 9 or 164 smaller than me playing the NFL, but a lot more athletic, but I just worry about these smaller receivers in terms of like just getting a speed guy because what we already have in Marvin memes a little bigger obviously, but
- 19:39[SPEAKER_03]: guy relies on the speed, but if you can't run routes, if you don't have a, if you have a smaller frame run, it consists of catch radius.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not very interested, and I know that everyone wants that speed element, but we got Jalen a lot, and we have Marvin Mims Thompson's a guy who I'd prefer to stay away from, especially in the earlier rounds.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I'm not trying to slap Nick on this Nick and I obviously we have some differing viewpoints on things in Brennan Thompson is one
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: But it's the overall thinking here of, you know, just buying in on that speed, it's like, I want the speed don't get me wrong, but I want some semblance of a football player that comes with it.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: And right now Thompson is a track star that's going to run, you know, go nine, he's going to run deep posts deep corners and that's about it.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't bring you much else right now because he just isn't a football player.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's a track star playing football and I have series issues with that.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: Even as I say that, I mean, he still has a fifth round grade for me because that speed is so elite.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: It is such a dominant trait that you can go and out there and win.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's got the best ball tracking skills.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: So you're going to have to really rely on accurate deep ball quarterbacks for him to even have that speed be overly effective.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a lot of issues there.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: Brennan Thompson is definitely one of those guys.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: Another guy for me is another guy that Nick likes is Chris Brazzle out of Tennessee.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: And my issue is that Nets are with Brazzle himself.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a fine prospect.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: My issue is, how many times are we gonna get got by the Tennessee offense, putting out these guys?
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm one of them.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_01]: I really like Jalen Wright.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: I was a big guy on,
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the running back from my show whose name is Dylan Samson and the issue is that offense, the players in it.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: They don't translate to the NFL because that offense is so weird and so wonky.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: And whenever I ask anybody about Chris Brasal, that's what the conversation comes back to.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the traits.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the the the physical attributes that you look for.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's just how long it's going to take for him to translate to the NFL because of the offensive played in.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: It is a no way shape or form preparing him for the NFL game.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's a nightmare for me, uh, for Danbury, even though they're probably not looking that way.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'd receive her and at that stage in the draft.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's probably going second third round, then we're probably not looking at that.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: What was even that range of forgetting jail in water, but it would still be a nightmare situation for me anyways to go that way just because it is such a gamble on that type betting on a player coming out of that offense.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Robert for us and good morning my brothers and make God continue to bless you and your great job as usual got to get back to my homework now my friend keep your heads up good luck with your homework Robert and you're getting ready to jump in and say something Dylan.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was gonna say my other, I was picking between either Thompson and Chris Brassel in for these acts of reasons you mentioned.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_03]: I like the, you know, the measurables and all that but like you mentioned.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_03]: Coming from Tennessee, transitioning to the NFL, it's almost the losing battle there with just how they turn up their wider severs.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now, move it on tight end.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: This is the tough one because we've actually made up angering some people
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: coming in a little bit later and watching in.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: I know there is one guy in the comment section that is a big big fan of him.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm trying to figure out the best way of this because it's not necessarily a nightmare picked for me, but it's not a great one.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there is, I've said this before and I'll say it again.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: If you are a tight end, and Nick, this is one of the things that Nick and I are a human on.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: If you are a big, slot tight end.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: and you gotta at least contribute in the blocking game in some capacity.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: And if you do not show any effort or any desire as a blocker like Drake does whenever, and all the games that I watched at a time from the last two years, I watched every single game.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: Because as I watch, I kept hearing is like, yeah, he gives effort in this lot.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like he works in this lot really well, I never saw it.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see the effort, I don't see the technique, I don't see the desire, I don't see any of that.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: And to me, he's got a huge catch radius really has good, great height, really long arms.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: I saw more effort out of break dulcech coming out of UCLA as a blocker.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: Then I saw my out of Michael Trig.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I would also subscribe to that was one thing that I hung that I would say often.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't a great blocker, but he had least gave you the effort and when you see the effort, you can try there's some hope that you may be able to develop them if they don't show you effort, it's almost no hope at all for them in that fourth round.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: I am all the way out on Michael Trig, like I get why some people like him.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: If you are really looking to upgrade just your peer receiving ability from the tight end position with him as a big slot or even in the end zone, I mean, he's going to be a contributor in the end zone right away because of his catch radius.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: I just would rather go get tenorcosule out of Houston later.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_01]: who is very much the same player, but at least has a big frame, big mass and show the little bit more effort and desire as a blocker in this lot, not in line that you can maybe develop something to contribute out there and still get that big red zone threat with a big catch radius.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not necessarily like, I'm all the way out on Michael Trig for, especially for Denver, but it's also because there's a guy later that you can get
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: that does the same stuff, and so the value just doesn't match.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm absolutely there with Michael Triggas, well, and just in general, I want tight ends who are more of a factor as a blocker, like you mentioned, and that brings up, and again, might piss a little some people off, but Eli Stowers from Vanderbilt, same kind of deal here.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_03]: not really a blocker.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to be asking to be basically a wider silver and that point I would rather take a wider receiver that can block a little bit.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, Star was got a lot lots of like he's got speed, you know, good catch radius.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_03]: I believe he was a former quarterback as well.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_03]: So he's got some people like you there.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_03]: But
- 26:29[SPEAKER_03]: I mean at 60 to that be an absolute nightmare for me.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_03]: I know you want to get more talented at this in this tight end room, but I honestly just rather run to pack with Evan Ingram at that point if you're considering taking stars at 62 he's a good pass catcher and whatnot, but if you bring nothing as a blocker, why am I taking you as a tight end maybe maybe I just look towards why to see for at that point.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of big white receivers that can come in and block in the slot.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's like, it's one of the things I mean, Denver's doing their due diligence on stowers.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe it was something with the scheme at Vanderbilt that, you know, we just don't see it with the block or maybe that's part of why they're doing their due diligence.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, hey, we need something of you out of blocker out of there because we saw the issues with the offense last year with Evan Ingraham.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: Towards the end of the season, he was only saying about 20 snaps per game out of
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: because they couldn't use them in running situations.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_01]: And when he was on the field, it was such a tell.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: So they could only put them on the field really in obvious past and situation.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: Do you do not want that?
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: So Eli Stower's at 62 would be rough.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: For me, it's not necessarily a nightmare of situation because at least I can see the picture of getting far more dynamic with your receiving game.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: in the passing game, but it is not ideal just because of those issues with his, with his blocking.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: But there are so many ways that I can go with draft crushes.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like, on my big board, I have a set of tight ends that are just blockers.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: And basically, any, any one of them is the guy that I could, I could sit here and talk about.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Nate Bourne-Curture, I mean, I absolutely love the suit.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: He is the best block in this class.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: We'll cast Merrick the other Ohio State Tide End.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: He is probably second place, second best blocker in this class.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: DJ Rogers is probably up there in the top five.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: Sam Raoishes up there.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: Miles Kittselman out of Tennessee, he hips.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: hanked the combine, but he has a physical blocker.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I know I just got done talking about Tennessee players and translating to the NFL, but blocking is a little bit easier to translate over.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: And we've actually seen the blocking types out of Tennessee, offensive linemen, and even a tight end, come to the NFL and actually have some immediate impact with their game as blockers.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: Tender Arkin out of Illinois.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: physical blocker offers absolutely nothing in the as a receiver though outside of like a five yard and five yard out safety net, we safety net option.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: Even Hayden large out of Iowa he offers you some blocking.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: But my draft crush really is Carson Ryan, a 7th round projected 7th round pick to undrafted.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: I have a seventh on him out of BYU.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: The blockings there, he shows up as a receiver, like he's got all those things for it.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: There's been some questions about the overall athleticism, how much he offers after the catch, but I, for what Denver can use out of this.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: They really need that tight end that can be a very capable blocker, but not only a blocker to where they're, it's a tell on the offense, and Carson Ryan is enough of that.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: my one concern with him is is he enough of a blocker to really even at his best be an er at Adam Trump minst best is Carson Ryerson Ryerson upgrade over that.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're probably getting a similar level to Carson Ryin early in 2020.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: What, what was his first year in Denver?
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: Was it 2020 too?
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: I believe so.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: It was 22 or 23, but anyways, that first year that Trottman was in Denver the first, you know, eight, 10 weeks.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: He was really looking good as a blocker.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure you're getting that out of out of Carson Ryan, but you might be getting the next what we got out of Trottman over the next half year year out of out of him with Ryan as that kind of level blocker, which is probably a tier four tier five level.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and he's a great prospect to take late like you mentioned.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_03]: And I do like him quite a bit as well.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_03]: My draft crush is Sam Rao shout a stand for I kind of compare him and I'm not very.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_03]: I don't really like doing player comps too much, but he does kind of remind me of Tucker Kraft out of Green Bay.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_03]: He, you know, shorter arms, which isn't necessarily a problem when it comes to blocking, but I think he can develop more as a receiving threat and he is more of an extension of the offensive line with his blocking, and he's got great footwork as well.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_03]: But just another weapon to add this tight end room because I don't think you can trot in with Evan and Graham Troutman and, you know, Nate Ag, I actually do like Nate Agans.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_03]: But I just don't think you can have the same grouping and I prefer to take a guy a little earlier and I like Sam Rash quite a bit for the Broncos.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I like him and I will, I know Nick has serious questions about the arm like the knit is it is bad.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not even 31 H arms.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's I get the concern.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: winner handling edges you want to be able to engage quickly.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_01]: And there is a correlation between shorter arms being better blockers.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: And part of that is because you don't have that extended catch radius.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: So colleges in high school, they really focus on you being a blocker to get you out there on the field.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: So they put that they shift that focus.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: The issue is is that
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: I was short, I'm trying to remember what it was.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: I was running this year in the combine or just after the combine.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_01]: Since like 20 10, there hasn't been a tight end under 31 inch arms to get drafted in the top like 120 or 125, which is right around where Sam Rausher's projected.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: It might have been 20 since 2015.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember exactly when again, this was right around the month ago that I was going over the data and stuff like that.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so like, when I was looking all the, you know, some of the best blockers in the NFL over that time range.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: None of them were under 31 in charge.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, is that I think the shortest one was like 31 and two eights or 31 and one fourth or 31 and three eights.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: Some of the writer on that.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like at 35 and 30 30 inches and five eight arms with Raosh.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: is he going to be able to make out for it and then as a receiver the drops that is my biggest issue with him is the drops he has a second highest drop rate of tight ends coming into the coming into the NFL issue that are projected to be drafted and only behind Michael Trig by the way.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: So that is my concern with him.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: How much can he, is he reliable?
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's very smart, computer science engineering, engineering degree, race mark, very capable.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if there's going to be any concerns with him picking up the offense or anything like that, which is often the issue with tight ends.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: But Tuckercraft is a very interesting comparison.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's a bad one, by any means.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: Tuckercraft does come with a little bit longer arms.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I think in terms of play style, I think it's pretty it's it's a pretty sound one, but we're going to move on and talk about some blockers now.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to split them up into two and we can just go ahead and give them both at the same time, but we're going to split up offensive tackle and cheer you offensive line who's your who's your draft crush for both.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: You started with might may or lot.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go to listen.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_01]: Let's not with our draft crushes at the tackle and then at the interior offensive line.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so this obviously this this guy's a little more of a developmental guy maybe taking a little later in the draft.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_03]: I like Isaiah world out of Oregon for offensive tackle big body guy.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_03]: I mean his name kind of speaks to that world, but
- 34:31[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think the he's a guy that Veronica's could take a little later, hopefully and develop because how long is Garrett Bowles going to be around.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_03]: He's a little older like we weren't the same thing and then contracts comes up in that conversation as well.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_03]: And honestly, I'm just going to stick to Oregon here.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_03]: I am a huge fan of a manual pregnant.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_03]: Uh,
- 34:55[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Ben Powers has been looked at and talked about constantly as being replaced, whether he should be or not contract, age, injuries, what have you.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_03]: But again, another big offensive lineman and you kind of need to keep this offensive line strong.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_03]: That's kind of in the lifeblood of the offense, keeping Bonax clean, making lanes for the running backs, whether they hit them or not.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_03]: And I think pregnant on an Isaiah world will be ideal fits for the Broncos.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: We have Keith coming in and saying, Broncos country, good morning, and then water, baby, water, baby, water, baby, water, get in there.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm a bee singing this with Nick, connects with water for six.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: definitely man.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm so glad that there's a lot of excitement over Jaden model.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I mean, I've talked about this a lot is I wanted him prior to the draft.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think one of the show or prior to the trade deadline.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think one of the shows when Nick and I that Nick and I did might have been Lance and I we talked about guys that we would like to see at it before the trade of the line.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think we both whether it was Nick and Lance and all right, both of us.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: mentioned water.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: I really like him and it was cool to go back.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: Chad went and did the digging and found my scouting report on Jalen water from 2021 and posted it on Twitter and I retweeted it.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: So if you guys want to read it, go check it out.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: But it was nice to read that after spending some time because, uh, what was it the other day?
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: Other day, it wasn't the best day for me.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I decided to excite myself and watch some jail and water tape is like, all right, this is what's coming in the Denver.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: And it was nice to read that scouting report and then watch some of that tape of jail and water and see that all those positive traits are there.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: He cut down on some of the negatives.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then he's built his overall on those strengths.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's built upon them.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: So it was really nice to see.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, but going to off the tackle draft questions, Kagan Trost out a Missouri is a guy that I really like and with the philosophy that I have of let players fail themselves inside, meaning if they can play tackle, let them work at tackle and see if they can handle it and if they can't then move them inside.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: Trost is probably going to end up inside, but I would give him a shot at tackle in the first he is probably one of the most underunderated.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, has some of the most underrated production for tackles over the last couple of years at Missouri been very reliable on both sides of the line.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's got that side versatility as well.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: A lot to build off of and then he also can move inside.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I have a big key can trust fan on in the interior.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the interior is a little bit tougher for me because there's multiple ways I can go.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: I really like feeling right, right, right.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: The closest player in this class that has that mindset of Quinn Miners with I'm just going to bully you and be out physical you and just toss you around and you know probably just absolute physical downhill blocker really actually surprisingly good athlete and can move.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: uh, schools are taking me at the moment, especially with all the Texas schools that with Texas tech in Texas and Texas in and they all have in so many prospects this year.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: I do get some of them mixed up, uh, but Armageddon read Adams.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: He is another fiscal downhill moller past protections a little bit rough, but that's why we're probably talking about him in the, you know, fifth, six, seventh rounds.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: But I think my draft crush and the interior offence of wine and I will be honest, it has absolutely nothing to do with football.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: It is Favecci, we woo out of Oklahoma just because the name.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: I have this weird thing when it comes to names of prospects that if you have a weird name, I typically gravitate towards you just because I have fun saying the name and learning how to say it.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, come on, we woo as a blocker
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: can you just imagine the jokes that you can make like with that?
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: I just want that.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: I want some humor brought back to broadcast with Bobby Gishon.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: Pete and sure likes to take it away.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm putting, putting opposing defensive linemen in the hospital, calling him.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: On that note, he actually is a pretty good player.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: He fits pretty well with this scheme.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_01]: I do think he's going to be more suited for a outside white zone scheme.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: Definitely is a little bit more of that mover instead of that molar mentality.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, Denver, they started incorporating some of those far outside zone, not just more wide zone, not outside zone.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: a concept last year, that is a little bit better fit for him.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: And yes, there is a difference between outside and wide zones.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, Denver for ever since Trump came in, they've been doing outside zone stuff.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: It was wide zone that they added.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: But anyways, I digress.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: We will, he can fit.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: He is more of a fit for there and with them for adding that, you can still, you know, have a fit.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: And when you're talking about replacing a guy like Ben Powers who's one of the best polling guards in the NFL, probably top five with it.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think as a as a polar and as a lead blocker, he has one of the highest.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_01]: Um, or has one of those with rates in tackle for a loss rates allowed, um, really clean, really efficient with his movements.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think we, if you're looking at doing that, we can help replace that.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: But now we're going to go over to the defensive side of the ball.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: kind of got to go a little bit quicker on the defense side of all, unfortunately, there's not as much to get into here.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: Interior defensive line, if you if you want, we can split nose tackle in the rest or we can just keep interior defensive line all together, but I'll let you kick it off with your draft crush on the defensive line.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, so there's a handful of guys.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_03]: The defensive line class is pretty good this year.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_03]: nose tackle is a little.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_03]: uh not underwhelming in terms of like to hype that one in going to the season, but uh one of the guys I like and I talked a little bit with Eric about this in the chat.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_03]: He's a later-round guy, rotational defensive player, but I do like Demante K-part out of Clemson, just a big-body rotational run defender, not doesn't really offer much as a past Russia beyond just straight power, no real past Russia moves to him, but I think he'd
- 41:38[SPEAKER_03]: especially as a rotational guy, six with five, three, fifteen, ran a four, eight, forty, thirty, three, and a half inch vertical for a man, his sizes, pretty impressive.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm I'm more banking on a lot of the athletic traits in the strength from him.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_03]: Definitely not a guy you want starting, but someone I'd like to see in the Broncos rotation and keep that defensive line strong.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I don't know how to tie on him, but I understand it.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's a guy that you can try to develop into a rotational piece.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't say a nightmare, but you know, guys, we didn't get even get into our nightmare on the offensive line guys.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: So just quickly, I'm going to name off mine to meet you as crown over, and even in the sixth round, seventh round, I'm just, I'm just out.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's just one of those big guys that you just,
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: doesn't have the movement skills and so technically raw.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then inside Parker or Parker Brailsford, the center out of Alabama, who's not a bad player by any means, but at 280 pounds that he plays at and you know, the athleticism and the serious lack of strength, he's just not a fit for what Denver's doing at all.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: So like I like him for a team like San Francisco who really, really, really relies on that outside and wide zone stuff.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_01]: But with Denver, that's a little bit more mixing it up with the inside zone and the power gap stuff, he's just not a fit for it.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why he's a nightmare for me who are real quick, who are your nightmares on the offensive line.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: So we can miss each gift over them.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so actually I had to meet just crown over as well.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_03]: Like you mentioned kind of a big guy, but Not necessarily someone I want to see on the Broncos.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of tackle prospects.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'd like in terms of Interior, I'm not as well versed, so I'll defer to you on that, especially like when it comes to interior this year.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't kept up as much, but Not not anyone I consider necessarily a nightmare at least off the top of my head.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I'm about defense of mine.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: Here comes a new step, send more of this season in place of John Fringamir's Roach, Malcolm Roach or Jordan Jackson.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_01]: Savion Jones.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they draft the Jones to be either replacement and I understand it, but going from 33 steps to 519 steps, that is a big jump.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I think
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: I would be shocked if Denver doesn't bring a veteran defense of Lyman after the draft sometime in May because remember they seem to be playing the compensatory pick for me a little bit and after May first the compensatory pick formula basically shuts down so all signings are no longer eligible and they can't pick formula so that may first time is typically what is what you look for in that.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I would be shocked if they don't bring in a veteran to at least upgrade over Jackson and provide some kind of safety net for Zebion Jones, if he isn't ready to start.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, as Berkeley brings up here, maybe Cam Jordan, there's a familiar familiarity there.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, a good veteran presence, he's still racking up sacks, even his older age, but.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I like saving on jones, I like them coming out of the draft, but yeah, going from 30 something snaps to 500, quiet to jump there.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the events of I'm going to give your, uh, your question to Montecay part.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: I, I have to, and I, I'm going to split it between those tackle on the rest.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: Daryl Jackson, junior at knows tackle.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: Dude is built like a unit, um, first guy off the bus type and very physical.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: uh... as a password so there is some juice something there to work with as a password but really good run defender with such long arms and such a wide wingsman he can do gap without having to even move like he can just stick his arms out and basically cover two gaps
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then on the defensive line, I mean, I really like Rashad Rashad Benny cover on the Adam out of Texas A&M, like there's a lot of interior guys that like Jordan Vanderburg out of Georgia Tech.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's one of those undrafted for agents that I really hope Denver goes after.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: If not, just use one of those seventh round picks on him.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: But my biggest draft crest is probably James Thompson Jr. Who is just such a is equal dude that he is one of those guys that I'm going to take your money and there's nothing you're going to do about it.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: I want to stuff you on a locker like
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: For like a better way, he's got that bully mentality, which you want from a defensive lineman.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to try to do his best to bully defensive lineman or offensive lineman every single snap and just create all kinds of habits.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: So he's the guys that I like.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then real quickly, my.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_01]: Nightmares, Chris McClellan as a no-stacle.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's just another I don't think he's as good as DJ Jones is or even was when Denver signed him and I mean we're talking about a fourth round guy and like I've seen him be talked about as a five technique.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen him talk about a zero one technique.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: I like him as a zero one to three.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: Um, into your guy.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, for Denver, I just really want to get that big body.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: He only plays about three, 15.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: I want that big, three, 30 pound long, like stout run defender.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: And that's really not Chris McClellan.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: And then on the inside Peter woods, I am not a Peter woods woods guy.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get it.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: The tape, the production isn't there, the tape isn't great, that doesn't have, you know, he can be has a pretty good first step in explosion, but it's just it's almost gone instantly into contact like under a cheever like just all those negative tags that you put on players he carries them.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm going to agree there when it comes to Peter Woods.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_03]: He was one of the guys when I brought up, you know, this defensive tackle class was very much hyped coming into this season Peter Woods was so disappointing.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_03]: I like you mentioned the production's not there and.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_03]: Clemson as a whole wasn't great, but I, you know, I got to look at players individually and he didn't step up to the plate and I understand there's there's a lot to like about him as well, but just for how early he's going I'm just kind of out on him for the Broncos.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then moving over to edges real quick as well.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_01]: I like.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_01]: I consider him an edge more than a few defensive linemen.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: I like Caleb Proctor.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: He is a savior.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: He is a savior of Jones in terms of play style, but my draft crush for Denver is Derek Moore.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_01]: I absolutely would love him.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to talk about a physical edge guy, especially now that that's not conversation of Jonah Ellis at inside minebacker.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's your best edge stetter.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: On in the room and like you're moving that off edge like man you've got to replace that I really like Derek more to replace that and then my draft nightmare at the edge is on my big board I have a specific category for pass for a specialist any one of them.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_01]: I do not like pass for a specialist as it is and I think basically Nick Benito is a pass for a specialist because of his issues at run defender.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_01]: great at it don't get me wrong not using this to knock on him, but I don't want another past rush specialist in the room.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_01]: I want a guy who can do a little bit of everything, which is lacking.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we saw the issues with the run defense when Jonathan Cooper wasn't holding up and when Nick PDD was out there on the field.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_01]: We need a guy who can be adequate at setting the edge at the very least, especially again with Jonah Ellis being talked about moving to inside my background, at least for some steps this year, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's permanent in 2027.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's I'm with you there in terms of nightmares, like I know these guys like remell height, you kind of see falling into that second round and I'm just fully out.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_03]: We already got Nick Benino.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_03]: He's our past roach special is extraordinary or whatever the hell you want to call him.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_03]: I need I want a little more beef on a little more boom in the run game and Derek Moore was going to be my pick as well.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm glad you brought him up.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_03]: Just a big
- 49:50[SPEAKER_03]: Agnes of tackles and just yeah, I need I need more beef on the at the edge room.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_03]: I need someone who's going to really hold up against the run.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_03]: Another shadow.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_03]: I want to give a little later round guy Tyreek sap had some good production as well at Florida.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_03]: I believe we'll see brought in for a visit.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_03]: uh... visit or a conbying they just met maybe they just met in the form of the conbying but he's a guy like as well just to add into the brachos rotation now moving back linebacker uh... obviously there's gonna be a lot of like a lot of names out there this is a really good linebacker class
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: My draft crush at linebacker is Jimmy rolled her out of Michigan.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't have a whole lot of experience.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: But I got he can play when he's out there on the field.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: I would take a bet on him in the fourth round of going out there and being a very and developing him into being a very capable linebacker.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: He has shown enough in coverage as a run defender, as a stackbacker, as a guy who sort of to the trash working side on talent, every aspect of a modern linebacker that you look for.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_01]: He has shown the flash, it's just a matter of getting them there, which is a bit rough.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_01]: But hey, fourth round, he's going to be able to contribute on special teams right away.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_01]: But if you can develop him into more than that, all right, man, like, it's a huge risk, because again, you're betting on the development.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, Denver got Justin's should not to be a capable player.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think it's safe to try to bet on it.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_01]: I bet on them trying to get Jimmy Rollder into something.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_01]: And then my nightmare would be torn in Newark.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like, this dude is 511, 220 pounds.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: Can't cover anything as a downhill stackbacker.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: But at that size, you're not going to be a downhill stack
- 51:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like, when I went into his tape after seeing his eyes and I got into him way, I got him into mid January, I'm like, oh, 511, 220 pounds.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I watched Kyle Lewis.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, all right, at that point, he's another Kyle Lewis.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_01]: Then I saw all the issues in coverage and just having him have to be a downhill guy.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, no way, just just no.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's my draft nightmare as well.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I feel best case scenario and this is like absolute best case.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_03]: You throw them on special teams because I just don't want him as a starter or even a rotational guy at linebacker.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't the size just really scares me and you pair that like you have to.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_03]: If you're going to be that small, you got to be an alien in some aspect of your game and he's just really not that, and that's just kind of unfortunate for him.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_03]: But as for Draft Crush, Jay Golday really love him and coverage.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_03]: Overall, his linebacker played kind of a weird role at Cincinnati, but he played that role very well.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you've got to think about life after Justin's turn out after Alex single 10 more likely has he's getting up there in agent.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_03]: If you're already converting Joe and Alice over to linemaker, it might be time to look that way, probably early for the procos, and I think old day would be an excellent option.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we have Glenn Ashley coming in asking, where do you see Oscar Delp decided to give any
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: There has been a lot coming out about Oscar Delp.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_01]: He has been advised to get a surgery to over this fracture and he didn't do it.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: He was advised not to run at the pro day and he did anyways just because of it.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_01]: And from what it sounds like, he may have aggravated the injury a little bit.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_01]: He kind of got a little pissy with medical staff at the combine over being told, yeah, you're not gonna be able to participate.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, who was that Alabama linebacker from 2017 was it foster?
- 53:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Rubin foster not quite that level bad where he started threatening and throwing stuff at the medical staff.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: But he definitely had a little bit had some issues there with the temperament and then you know there's been some stuff coming out about how.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_01]: The medical is at the combine revealed far more than just the foot.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_01]: They showed some concerns over how previous injuries have appealed injuries that NFL teams weren't aware of.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of suggesting that either a he kept it from the medical staff at Georgia or the medical staff at Georgia kept it quiet.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: One And I actually I'm not going to share that.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: One thing with him is it all takes his one team, of course, and I really like the player.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: But you also got a factor and will he look out for himself with the injury stuff that he has, will he look out for himself to keep being able to help keep himself healthy and have a long career or is he going to, if he is the one hiding injuries, is he going to keep doing that
- 55:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not out on Oscar Delp, but it's a guy.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's like 56 round at the earliest is where I'm looking at him because I just have so many concerns over the damage he's done to his body.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm willing to let some other team take that risk if they want to take him higher.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos have a great strength in conditioning class stuff, but I mean, that doesn't mean you know injured guys are going to stay in your typical.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_03]: We saw a dry green law that dude is just hopeless when they came to injuries and, you know, not always fault just something that happens, but not saying Oscar Delp is in that same round by any means, but if you're going out and hiding,
- 55:41[SPEAKER_03]: injuries are seemingly doing so that's just not a good look in kind of goes into character as well, and that's Something the Broncos, you know, they've kind of tried to stick with higher character guys So yeah, I'm not necessarily like you said I'm not out on Delp, but I'm out on him early
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's definitely not nightmare for me if they took him in in one at one way or one eleven.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: Wouldn't be ideal for me, especially with how this tight end room is.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I really like the player.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's just the other stuff that just kind of bothers me a little bit.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_01]: But we're almost done here.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: Cornerback safety, we can do this all together.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, I was a big fan of a manual and big Neil Warren before, you know, they traded out of that first round big.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_01]: But my draft crush now at safety is probably trading stukes.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, though.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's a safety at the NFL level.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a nickel very much like that one safety that came out of Georgia a couple years ago He's been a nickel on the NFL and only a nickel in the NFL.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he does.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, so I make huge fan of AJ Halsy Big safety works well downhill, but a lot of people will look at the size 220 pounds that he's only a box safety
- 56:57[SPEAKER_01]: He isn't.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's actually worse closer to the line of springage than farther away.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: And he has surprisingly good range.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_01]: Ball Hawk knows for the ball.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: Big fan of that.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_01]: Then corner, Chris Johnson at a San Diego state.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_01]: Huge fan of NBA and Tla Ponds.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_01]: I really like small, spicy, nickel corners as well.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: But I am not overly fond of this corner class overall, it's like after we get out of the third round, there's like maybe one or two boundary guys that I actually kind of like for Denver.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but a lot of nickels, unfortunately, uh, because that's probably where should a baron is best at, and you also have Jay Kwann McMillan.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_01]: Um, at that, but I, again, Chris Johnson, he's my draft crush at corner, especially on the boundary, the Angela Ponds in the nickel of trading stukes and nickel, AJ Halsey as well.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like you mentioned, not a lot of outside corners that I'd be looking to take and, you know, the ones I do like are not going to be in the Broncos range, but, you know, in terms of guys that are there, you brought up Chris Johnson, like in quite a bit Keith Abney as well.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a big fan of the Angela Ponds, you know, we love the short kings, man.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_03]: I, uh, and just like you mentioned without feisty that dude is and how we even place against the run, absolutely love to see that heart.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, I mean, overall, I'd say just in terms of nightmares, I'll just blank it and say, yeah, like outside corner, not really like in the options outside of the main guys there as for safety, you brought up H.A.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_03]: Hall see I actually I love him quite a bit as well.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I make me a war and was who I kind of wanted at 30 obviously that's not an option anymore.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_03]: A sneaky guy.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not necessarily in love with him, but I do like his measurables because he doesn't have the production necessarily the key we leave from Penn State.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_03]: I do like his size and and measurables quite a bit, but again, yeah, production not necessarily there and then I want to share it out.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_03]: Come on.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_03]: Ramsey as well.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, there's some connection there with.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_03]: First name is giving me, but our DBs coach Belk coming out from USC.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_03]: There's some familiarity there.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I learned recently that he was also like the green dot player for that defense, which is good, you know, communication throughout the defense in terms of guys that I don't really care for none really come to mind off the top of my head.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_01]: I really like this safety class this year.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that he offers up a lot of versatility for you on the deep inside of the ball.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a pure man guy and then they love their cover three.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_01]: They love their cover two zone.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_01]: They do a lot of match zone as well.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of people mistake it for man coverage, but they're predominantly his own team.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not a big fan of Davis and I think Ben is in and he also has the I was writing something up on him and I was like I'm pretty sure it was him.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_01]: I've done, I've already done like 75 reports guys.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_01]: So, excuse me, if I get things mixed up a little bit here, pretty sure it was him where I made the comment of like, maybe if he comes to Denver, he can borrow Riley Moss's boxing gloves.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: Cause this dude is grabby.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he makes Riley Moss look passive with his hands.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's that bad.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_01]: The net safety, Genesis myth.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, dude's the ball hawk, don't get me wrong.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like with blocking it tight end.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: If you're not going to show any interest as a tackler, especially at safety, no, just go.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: You can go be successful elsewhere.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: But you are not my guy.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_01]: I do not want you on my team, because tackling is a must for me at safety.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_01]: It is one of those things that you have to be able to do.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_01]: You have to be able to tackle at safety that I love the ball skills.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_01]: Don't keep me wrong.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, dude, it's great.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_01]: You see these things.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's very aggressive in coverage.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_01]: he is very similar to the one safety for the Texans that has gone on to be a very successful safety in the NFL.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I was all the way out on him as well.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, you can go succeed elsewhere.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want you on the broadcast because you just offered nothing as a tackle.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_01]: You're so unreliable.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_01]: You don't show any effort.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: You don't show any desire to tackle.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: Genesis myth multiple times Arizona.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_01]: He would only the only running bags.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he would step aside for them and wait for somebody else to go in a physical and then he would jump in and be that, you know, the assistant tackler on it.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_01]: So it's really rough for me.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_01]: But we're going to have to get out of here soon before we do we have Glenn actually saying so max clarity, I read in better given the traits.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_01]: both as a player and without the medical's clear as well.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_01]: I have a lot of concerns with clear.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that he is very overrated in this class.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't take him at 72.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_01]: I would, you know, if I wanted him, I'd probably try to trade up from like 108 into the 90s for him if he's there.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_01]: But that's about it.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_01]: Ernie Mason, go a Broncos country, only hello, Dylan and Eric, Mark Kennedy, good morning, go Broncos, good morning to you, good morning to you, Mark and to you, Ernie as well.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for guys for joining us, Broncos for life.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_01]: Should we be a little nervous about the cousin's pick up?
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I mean, don't get caught up in all the fluff with his contract.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_01]: It is a one year deal and not for a lot of money from the Raiders.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's like 11 million and 8.7 million is being paid for by the Falcons.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_01]: Is that my that like, it is it's a been a weirdly reported contract.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's nothing at all that's guaranteed guaranteeing him to be a starter.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to be a situation where the Raiders are going to trade back and not pass on Mendoza.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's no guarantee next.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to be in spot to get a quarterback.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_01]: So you take the quarterback when you can.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't not the biggest fan of that mentality, but as a mentality that teams have shown time and time again, and have even talked about.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_01]: So you take the quarterback when you're able to take that quarterback, but I'm not nervous about it.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_01]: He may end up being the starter for the season, but I doubt it'd be for very long.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm just post Achilles injury as well.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_03]: Kirk is just not looked great.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, as much as I like Kubiak there, I'm just, you know, he is very clearly the bridge guy.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_03]: He's just waiting, like, I like Fernando Mendoza quite a bit.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's being a little over a height I saw.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_03]: I can't remember who some comparing him to Manning.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_03]: We are really in the
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_03]: right before the draft, but yeah, Mendoza's going to be the guy there.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_03]: Clearly, just a bridge move, and now he does not scare me whatsoever.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_03]: We blew him out the last time, used with the Falcons, and he had much better weapons than.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he is a guy that has definitely been propped up because of the quarterback value.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have them on my big board, um, honestly, and that's just because I don't have a lot of those early quarterbacks.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have to ice him son on it.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_01]: Or wait, yeah, I do.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_01]: I have Mendoza as my 28th overall player.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like there is a lot of issues is, um, with this tape that he's getting talked about as a number one overall pick because of the fact that this is a terrible quarterback class and a week class overall.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_01]: In a normal class, we're probably talking about him and that's like as a late first Jackson Dart range last year, right?
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_01]: Late first a team may trade up to go get him a fall to the second somewhere in that area, that conversation, but propped up for the week class.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_01]: Overall, Raiders don't worry me this year, obviously we'll see within a year if they make me grow or not, but I doubt it, it's the Raiders.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_01]: Glenn Ashley, I think AJ Halstein, but Clark, I really like at St. Pete, like you Eric, I wanted to be Neil Warren if he was, if he's still at 30.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then Keith coming in, why is that Olin?
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_01]: Why that Olin is dog water?
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they made some attempts at it.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see how much higher the lender bomb can help, but getting Colton Miller back will help.
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's been a fine tackle for them, but.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so many issues with that offensive line that linder bomb and molar back don't fix it for them, but yeah, I mean, that's that it is what is so if you guys are listening to this after fact.
