Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to a lily Pad production.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hello, my lovely Leapfrugs, Welcome back to Fandemonium. We've got
- 0:07Speaker 2: another live episode for you this week. This was our
- 0:10Speaker 2: rom Coms live episode recorded in February, and I think
- 0:15Speaker 2: personally it was my favorite live show to date. I
- 0:19Speaker 2: know we've had a bunch of fun live shows so far,
- 0:22Speaker 2: but there was just something in the air. Maybe it
- 0:25Speaker 2: was love, I don't know, but the peak improv audience
- 0:28Speaker 2: were just so here for it. As you'll hear, the
- 0:32Speaker 2: chanting was amazing. Thank you so much. By the way,
- 0:35Speaker 2: if you're someone who's coming out to the live shows,
- 0:37Speaker 2: it's a dream come true. I know there's a bunch
- 0:40Speaker 2: of people who if they were also based in Colorado Springs,
- 0:43Speaker 2: they would be out for these live shows. And I
- 0:46Speaker 2: appreciate you so much too for listening to the podcast.
- 0:49Speaker 2: But it's just awesome to see people having a good
- 0:51Speaker 2: time with the show that we've done online for like
- 0:54Speaker 2: the last five years, because it's us and we're a
- 0:57Speaker 2: small independent production company. Another audio note up top, we
- 1:02Speaker 2: got some amazing video footage, so the clips from this
- 1:05Speaker 2: should be pretty damn good. Check out at Gateleaper's pod
- 1:08Speaker 2: on Insta to see those, but the audio picking up
- 1:11Speaker 2: the room wasn't quite as good. So our audio on
- 1:16Speaker 2: stage came out great, but there's a couple of moments,
- 1:19Speaker 2: like when we're interacting with producer Jen and a couple
- 1:22Speaker 2: of audience members that it the audio didn't translate. So well,
- 1:27Speaker 2: We're a work in progress, That's all I've ever said.
- 1:30Speaker 2: This is also because of that same secondary mic audio issue.
- 1:35Speaker 2: The crowd will sound much louder for the first half
- 1:38Speaker 2: hour of the recording, and then I switched just purely
- 1:40Speaker 2: to our MIC's on stage. The peak iprov audience was
- 1:44Speaker 2: so amazing that you can still hear them chant from
- 1:46Speaker 2: our microphones, which is you've got to be pretty loud
- 1:49Speaker 2: to do that. But if you're wondering why the crowd
- 1:51Speaker 2: noise suddenly gets a little bit quieter, that's why. But
- 1:55Speaker 2: overall this was such a joy of an episode. Thank
- 1:58Speaker 2: you again to Megan High for stepping in at the
- 2:01Speaker 2: last minute. You wouldn't know. You wouldn't know it based
- 2:04Speaker 2: on this episode, you'd think she'd been writing bits for weeks.
- 2:08Speaker 2: And of course Stephanie Fackler and Johnny Wilson made this
- 2:11Speaker 2: episode such a joy I love I love them, I
- 2:15Speaker 2: love their chemistry. I love them both as individual comedic
- 2:18Speaker 2: performers and how they make us all laugh when they're together.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It's it's just a joy. But I don't want to
- 2:25Speaker 2: waffle anymore up top, I just want you to enjoy
- 2:27Speaker 2: this rom Comms Live episode of Fandemonium. Hello, and welcome
- 2:50Speaker 2: to Pandemonium, the pop culture game show that shines a
- 2:53Speaker 2: spotlight onto everyone's favorite fandoms. I'm your games master and

- 3:08Speaker 3: First.
- 3:08Speaker 2: She is an improviser, dancer, podcaster, and lead in a
- 3:12Speaker 2: rom com movie where an improviser, dancer, and podcaster falls

- 3:28Speaker 2: And he is a game designer, improviser, and podcaster and

- 3:38Speaker 2: Do they have anything in common? Give it up for
- 3:41Speaker 2: Johnny Wilson.

- 4:06Speaker 2: I notice you're both dressed a little a little like
- 4:09Speaker 2: it's maybe ten years ago.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Yes, maybe a.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Little bit more like thirteen years ago.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Yeah, this is our muse that we brought. Do you
- 4:18Speaker 4: want us to talk about it?
- 4:19Speaker 6: There?
- 4:20Speaker 2: For the sake of format points, we'll hold on to
- 4:22Speaker 2: it for about five minutes. I knew you would like that,
- 4:26Speaker 2: So now I'm just gonna ask Steph Johnny, how are
- 4:28Speaker 2: you both doing good?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Our marriage needs this.
- 4:37Speaker 4: That's the first time I'm here in about surprise goddamn.
- 4:45Speaker 2: So do you think playing as a couple uppear on
- 4:47Speaker 2: stage in the rom Coms episode? Do you think that's
- 4:49Speaker 2: going to help you or hinder you? Potentially?
- 4:51Speaker 1: I think absolutely it's going to help us.
- 4:54Speaker 5: I think it's going to be bad.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Steph can be competitive, okay, that's good, and uh very focused.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I can be uh flucy.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Come again?
- 5:14Speaker 4: Does that mean when I think it means, I want
- 5:17Speaker 4: to mean, Oh, that's not what I meant. I can
- 5:25Speaker 4: be unfocused and I can be a goofball I'm also
- 5:30Speaker 4: one of the least competitive people I know.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Okay, so balance, No, No, I think bad.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Like I said, I think it's going to be great
- 5:41Speaker 1: because I can read your mind and you can't read mine.
- 5:45Speaker 1: But I will help you.
- 5:46Speaker 4: To read mind.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Yeah, fantastic, guys, we're fine. Don't worry about us. I

- 10:19Speaker 2: That's why we're all here.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Rom coms. Odro You a fan?
- 10:23Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I love a rom com And I didn't
- 10:26Speaker 7: think that I did. And then looking back, I was like, oh,
- 10:29Speaker 7: that's a rom com. Oh that's a wrong that classifies
- 10:32Speaker 7: as a rom com. Yeah, oh god, is this my personality?
- 10:36Speaker 9: Maybe? And I'm okay with that.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Fantastic And Megan, what about yourself?

- 10:52Speaker 2: I should also, I should say Megan stepped in at
- 10:55Speaker 2: like the last minute to perform tonight, so give Megan
- 10:57Speaker 2: an extra round of a pause.
- 11:02Speaker 5: I like it, honestly, I like it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: If there was a follow up question, I've totally forgot
- 11:06Speaker 2: to write it in.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Descript Okay, that's right, I just I thought I asked
- 11:10Speaker 5: them one.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yeah favorite, yeah, absolutely, thanks, yeah, yeah.
- 11:15Speaker 6: You got it.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Some of those you know, I love a good Meg Ryan,
- 11:20Speaker 5: Tom Hanks, They're chemistry right. Audible guests from.
- 11:23Speaker 11: The audience, you guys hear that, Yeah, yeah, uh, Sleepless
- 11:27Speaker 11: in Seattle, Joe versus the volcano?
- 11:31Speaker 5: You've got mail? Is there anything that Payer can't conquer?
- 11:36Speaker 2: Did they I've not seen Joe visus the volcano? Did
- 11:38Speaker 2: they conquer the volcano?
- 11:39Speaker 5: Pretty sure they did?
- 11:40Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 11:40Speaker 5: I think so. It's been a long time since I've
- 11:41Speaker 5: seen it. I just remember liking it a lot.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Good, nice, and oldra Just to complete the set, any
- 11:46Speaker 2: favorite rom coms you want to shout out, Oh.
- 11:49Speaker 9: Love it feels like the Gimme.
- 11:50Speaker 7: But when Harry met Sally, Oh yes, it feels like
- 11:53Speaker 7: the Gimmy. I also love easy A because that qualifies
- 11:57Speaker 7: as a rom com. And I didn't know that until
- 12:00Speaker 7: the Internet told me and the rom com book told me.
- 12:05Speaker 9: Oh god, I had another one, and it's it was good.
- 12:09Speaker 3: You don't have to I just cut this bit of audio.
- 12:11Speaker 9: Thank you, thank you. It was going to be relevant,
- 12:13Speaker 9: but it's not.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I mean, it's all happening really in the room for
- 12:16Speaker 2: about twenty people.
- 12:17Speaker 9: But I have to feel shame about that.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that you can feel shame about.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Was this Shrek is Shrek a r com?
- 12:26Speaker 9: Yes, okay, no, but it was.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Shrekky I figured.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Okay, Teams, you've gone for coffee with your best friend
- 12:38Speaker 2: after a bad breakup. You're swearing off men forever, but hello,
- 12:42Speaker 2: that barista is cute, isn't he?
- 12:44Speaker 3: You wonder if you could maybe get his number?
- 12:47Speaker 2: Your friend reminds you what happened last time, but you're
- 12:49Speaker 2: too busy looking at the way that tight white T
- 12:51Speaker 2: shirt is clinging to his shoulders.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Coffee stains be damned.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You're ordering a cortado and climb that thing like a tree. Okay,
- 13:02Speaker 2: it's gotten a little hot in here, so let's cool
- 13:04Speaker 2: things down a bit by asking each pair to come
- 13:06Speaker 2: up with a rom com themed team name for the night.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Let's start with Steph and Johnny. What you gut?
- 13:11Speaker 5: We're gonna you want to say it?
- 13:13Speaker 1: We can see it together?
- 13:14Speaker 4: Perfect when Johnny met Stephie?
- 13:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, disgusting?
- 13:26Speaker 9: Yeah if you adorable?
- 13:28Speaker 3: You're very adorable.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Have you, guys ever done Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan
- 13:32Speaker 2: like Harry and Sally for like Halloween or something.
- 13:34Speaker 1: No, no, no, he's got red hair.
- 13:37Speaker 12: And I just saw the movie like three days Okay, well,
- 13:41Speaker 12: if you tried a deal, maybe we we you know,
- 13:45Speaker 12: maybe Ron and Hermione once.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Yeah, we did run in Hermione.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Okay when wait they no, they're not siblings, right, No, Matt, God, sorry,
- 13:55Speaker 2: it's not trendy to know a lot about Harry Potter.
- 14:01Speaker 2: When Johnny met Stephie is fantastic. That might be the
- 14:04Speaker 2: perfect team name. And I'm now going to have to
- 14:06Speaker 2: awkwardly turn and face the other team after saying that sentence.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Perfect any you got anything we have?
- 14:12Speaker 7: We've got some subparties, I guess adequate team names. We
- 14:18Speaker 7: have a couple like miscommunication or misunderstanding.
- 14:25Speaker 11: Dis understandings, just understand things. I just thought of this one.
- 14:29Speaker 11: What about you've got female? Okay, that's good, that's strong.
- 14:37Speaker 11: It got a great response from the crowd.
- 14:39Speaker 9: Indeed, I like you like it?
- 14:42Speaker 5: Yeah, Oh my gosh, you like a thing that I
- 14:44Speaker 5: like you like it? I said a thing you can't.
- 14:48Speaker 5: It's almost like it wasstiny.
- 14:53Speaker 2: What Okay, I don't know how I feel about the
- 14:56Speaker 2: thing that's developing between these two. Okay, fantastic we have
- 15:01Speaker 2: when Johnny met Stephie versus You've got female? Two fantastic names.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Very sexy, all right. And if you're listening to this and.
- 15:14Speaker 9: I'm just I just did this.
- 15:17Speaker 5: She revealed a flower underneath her sweater.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Very sexy, all right.
- 15:23Speaker 2: And if you're listening to this and thinking I don't
- 15:26Speaker 2: know anything about rom coms, I only really watched them
- 15:28Speaker 2: for the possibility of sex after shame on you. But
- 15:33Speaker 2: also we've got you because it is his order, with
- 15:36Speaker 2: a little segment we like to call passing knowledge, give
- 15:38Speaker 2: it up for order.
- 15:43Speaker 7: Rom Coms are a subgenre of comedy and romance, and
- 15:47Speaker 7: like a lot of the women my age I live
- 15:50Speaker 7: laugh love them. It's probably because in the nineties and
- 15:55Speaker 7: early two thousands we experienced the Golden Age of romantic,
- 16:01Speaker 7: a Silver Age of inflatable furniture, and the Bronze Age
- 16:06Speaker 7: of low rise genes. The main characters in rom coms
- 16:11Speaker 7: typically have what's called a meat cute. They meet in
- 16:15Speaker 7: a way that's a little awkward, but because they're hot,
- 16:17Speaker 7: we call it cute. They then proceed to fall in
- 16:22Speaker 7: love for all but about fifteen minutes.
- 16:25Speaker 9: Of the film in the middle, where.
- 16:26Speaker 7: They inevitably hate each other's guts, but that's fully irrelevant
- 16:30Speaker 7: to the plot.
- 16:31Speaker 9: Rom Coms are full of.
- 16:33Speaker 7: Fun tropes like enemies to lovers, But I'm personally a
- 16:37Speaker 7: huge fan of contractually obligated relationships.
- 16:41Speaker 9: Do not tell my husband.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Great, I signed paperwork. What oh?
- 16:48Speaker 7: And that did something for me. But honestly, the stories
- 16:53Speaker 7: are just good fun. They teach us timeless lessons like
- 16:56Speaker 7: following your heart.
- 16:57Speaker 9: Or Cheating's okay if they're your one true love.
- 17:02Speaker 7: Honestly, let's just ride off into the sunset and play
- 17:06Speaker 7: some pandemony.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Yes, thank you, my crazy stupid love. And just before
- 17:12Speaker 2: we get to today's games, I've asked each player to
- 17:15Speaker 2: bring in a muse, something that inspires them or something
- 17:18Speaker 2: they love from this particular fandom. Rum Coms are inspiring
- 17:21Speaker 2: to me because most of them portray British people as
- 17:24Speaker 2: kind of desirable partners, which makes a change because with
- 17:27Speaker 2: the villains in every other genre. Steph, we're gonna start
- 17:31Speaker 2: with you unless this is a joint muse that you're
- 17:33Speaker 2: presenting together.
- 17:34Speaker 1: It is, yeah, okay, then yeah, the marriage thing was
- 17:37Speaker 1: a bit, We're cute as hell?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Yeah, sorry, Yeah, what's inspiring you guys about rom coms?
- 17:43Speaker 1: I feel like our dating relationship was. It was fraught
- 17:48Speaker 1: but also so great and adorable, and we were in Chicago,
- 17:53Speaker 1: and that you know, like so many rom coms happen
- 17:55Speaker 1: in these like huge cities like Chicago, London, New York.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Yeah, it's totally snowy.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Yeah, or the.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Leaves are falling.
- 18:04Speaker 9: And that's how it's rest.
- 18:05Speaker 1: So we actually dressed ourselves in our old college clothes,
- 18:09Speaker 1: like how we would have dressed on our dates when
- 18:11Speaker 1: we met.
- 18:11Speaker 2: That's adorable, you are kids.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Yeah, so I got my twenty.
- 18:17Speaker 13: Ten and yep, yep, that is my Ohio hat.
- 18:30Speaker 5: From Ohio.
- 18:34Speaker 4: That is my dad's Cannondale jacket that I thought was so.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Cool to wear in college. I was expecting Canondale. I
- 18:43Speaker 2: genuinely expected at Cannondale Chance.
- 18:48Speaker 4: And then fun story, that's gonna be her longest episode.
- 18:56Speaker 9: That's why the episode's long.
- 19:00Speaker 6: And also.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Listeners, Matt is taking out thousands of oddres pauses.
- 19:09Speaker 4: But this shirt is just like button down handley navy
- 19:13Speaker 4: blue sleeves rolled up.
- 19:14Speaker 5: It's what I wore at every improv shown college.
- 19:17Speaker 4: It's also what I was wearing the first time Steph
- 19:19Speaker 4: grabbed my shirt and.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Pulled me in for a kids and we were.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Super conservative, so I said, please, don't do that anymore.
- 19:30Speaker 4: I can't handle it, but now I can handle it.
- 19:39Speaker 5: You might say you're contractually obligated to handle it in
- 19:46Speaker 5: the fust act. That's as far as we'll go.
- 19:51Speaker 2: I didn't know this.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Too, morat, I could be persuaded. This show doesn't pay any.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Oh fantastic, that's a that's a beautiful muse. I love
- 20:02Speaker 2: that you've come dressed up for this. Oh sorry, no,
- 20:04Speaker 2: go please, I know it's already long.
- 20:06Speaker 5: No.
- 20:08Speaker 4: We also realized that when Harry met Sally, they were
- 20:12Speaker 4: in Chicigo, and.
- 20:13Speaker 5: That's where we met.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Yes, so when Johnny mets Deepie, it's all perfect.
- 20:18Speaker 2: To be honest, that is beautiful and very inspiring because
- 20:25Speaker 2: love always is. There's nothing funny about that. Love is
- 20:27Speaker 2: just inspiring. Ah, so, thank you so much. And it
- 20:31Speaker 2: was a joint mus so. I think we had enough
- 20:33Speaker 2: time for all of that. So it's great, great, Oh
- 20:34Speaker 2: hell yeah, direction not there. This is happening in front
- 20:38Speaker 2: of people. We did this for five years in front
- 20:39Speaker 2: of no one. Okay, we are going to move on
- 20:45Speaker 2: over to You've got female and I think we're going
- 20:49Speaker 2: to start with Meghan. Meghan, what's inspiring you from the
- 20:52Speaker 2: world of rom comms.
- 20:53Speaker 11: I didn't have a whole lot of time to think
- 20:55Speaker 11: about this, but I'm gonna go with Julia Roberts. You know,
- 21:00Speaker 11: and when you think about other genres of movies, there's
- 21:04Speaker 11: a whole lot of dudes in there that are, like
- 21:06Speaker 11: you're you're doing dude heavy leads, right the rom com
- 21:11Speaker 11: A lot of a lot of female leads, strong female
- 21:13Speaker 11: leads in a rom com. And sure, a lot of
- 21:16Speaker 11: times the men are swooping in and saving them, but
- 21:18Speaker 11: come on, it's a little romantic when that happens. But
- 21:20Speaker 11: also you've got some strong female characters there. And like
- 21:23Speaker 11: at the end of a Pretty Woman, when he says
- 21:27Speaker 11: what happens when he, you know, saves her? Then then
- 21:30Speaker 11: she says, she saves him right back, and really she
- 21:33Speaker 11: saved him more than he saved her.
- 21:34Speaker 4: In that movie, I think, yeah, who.
- 21:38Speaker 11: Saved too, Yeah, she definitely saved him.
- 21:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I love that, and a very on brand answer for
- 21:44Speaker 2: your team name as well. Sometimes I get things right,
- 21:50Speaker 2: how positively adulicable.
- 21:52Speaker 5: I did want to just point out that he did
- 21:54Speaker 5: call you crazy and stupid earlier, and I'm just like,
- 21:57Speaker 5: I didn't love that for you.
- 22:00Speaker 9: It we'll talk about it later.
- 22:02Speaker 5: But I didn't.
- 22:03Speaker 9: I didn't love it. I didn't love it. I could never.
- 22:07Speaker 5: I would never. I would never call you either.
- 22:10Speaker 9: I believe you.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Oh. I can feel the wedge being driven. It's very physical.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Yeah, at first we thought my marriage was in trouble,
- 22:19Speaker 4: but I think I agree.
- 22:24Speaker 5: All Right, dude, what do I know. I'm just a
- 22:26Speaker 5: nerd with overalls and glasses.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I've got to play into what you're saying, So stop it.
- 22:34Speaker 2: That's fantastic, Meg and Julia Roberts a great muse. Uh,
- 22:38Speaker 2: you got one of a national treasure? Is that wh
- 22:40Speaker 2: jul America's sweetheart? America Sweetheart thewetheart. That's that's the phrase. Okay,
- 22:45Speaker 2: So audro what's inspiring you from rom comms? Please don't
- 22:49Speaker 2: divorce me.
- 22:51Speaker 7: I I love Valentine's Day. I love I love, just
- 22:55Speaker 7: love the vibe of it. And I like conversation hearts.
- 22:59Speaker 1: The like of them.
- 23:01Speaker 7: So I made little press on nails for myself that
- 23:04Speaker 7: have little.
- 23:05Speaker 9: Conversation hearts things.
- 23:06Speaker 7: But I didn't want to put the standard things on there,
- 23:10Speaker 7: so it was a little sassy and it's like one
- 23:12Speaker 7: eight hundred no or like instead instead of cutie pie
- 23:20Speaker 7: it's cutie by then then I got I got to
- 23:27Speaker 7: the end, and I was like, shit, I am not
- 23:29Speaker 7: clever anymore. So the last two just say piss hog.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Is that your nickname for Matt?
- 23:45Speaker 9: One of us has gotta be the piss hog.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I'm the piss hog.
- 23:58Speaker 2: H That is a fantastic use, incredibly creative. I always
- 24:01Speaker 2: love when people bring in their muses, and that is
- 24:03Speaker 2: right there on you. I've got to say, though, this
- 24:05Speaker 2: is the rom com episode. Is there is there that
- 24:07Speaker 2: has conversational hearts?
- 24:09Speaker 7: Well Coms have strong women making choices, whether they are
- 24:15Speaker 7: right or wrong.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Yeah, you got me, You got already. You have to
- 24:18Speaker 2: fish the sen Sorry you got me?
- 24:19Speaker 5: Yeah, push it. Piss hug Adre.
- 24:26Speaker 11: I would never every five minutes for the next hour, Adre,
- 24:33Speaker 11: I would never hug any piss.
- 24:37Speaker 7: Just say no, honestly, honestly, that's a mark, like like
- 24:42Speaker 7: a down vote.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Well, teams, I'm feeling very inspired and somewhat insulted.
- 24:50Speaker 3: But if we're already, should we play some games?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:54Speaker 2: Right, teams, Let's hop in that carriage for a romantic
- 24:56Speaker 2: ride around Central Park and ignore the horrible smell coming
- 24:59Speaker 2: from that horse as we snuggle up into Round one.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Round one is called You're Listening to NPR.
- 25:09Speaker 2: It's the interview based guessing game where our players will
- 25:12Speaker 2: take turns embodying the role of an iconic rom com
- 25:15Speaker 2: actor sitting down for an interview with a soft spoken
- 25:19Speaker 2: public radio host. It's a podcast first and foremost. That
- 25:23Speaker 2: radio hosse will be placed played by their teammate. They
- 25:26Speaker 2: will then have two minutes on the clock to conduct
- 25:28Speaker 2: an interview with the rom com icon, who will also
- 25:31Speaker 2: be on the shore to promote a really specific project.
- 25:35Speaker 2: After the two minutes are up, it will be up
- 25:36Speaker 2: to the interviewer to guess the rom com actor, their
- 25:39Speaker 2: partner is, and the specific project they're promoting, which we'll
- 25:43Speaker 2: get to in just a moment, but for now, Audrey,
- 25:46Speaker 2: you're gonna put headphones on first.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Can you hear us at the moment?
- 25:51Speaker 2: What is anything? What's happening? You just follow the instructions
- 25:57Speaker 2: of the song. No, you don't, don't, Yeah you go.
- 26:00Speaker 2: She can't hear Okay, So Meghan is going, Meghan, you
- 26:03Speaker 2: are Meghan. You are going to take on the role
- 26:08Speaker 2: of Sandra Bullock. But what is Sandra Bullock promoting? Peakin
- 26:12Speaker 2: prov audience is a project other than a film that
- 26:16Speaker 2: so it could be a product, a project, something that
- 26:18Speaker 2: Sandra Bullock's up to. Okay, I I like I like laution,
- 26:27Speaker 2: but I want to mix it. So we're gonna say chicken,
- 26:30Speaker 2: chicken grease lation.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 26:33Speaker 2: So that's she's promoting chickens.
- 26:35Speaker 1: The game Master and the piss Hog.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Okay, so we're gonna remove order. Meghan? Do you Meghan?
- 26:43Speaker 3: Do you know who you are?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yes?
- 26:44Speaker 2: And you know what you're promoting, Chicken grease lotion, Chicken
- 26:48Speaker 2: grease lotion. Okay, we are gonna move remove order from isolation.
- 26:53Speaker 9: I was damning. We can tell yeah, yeah, a lot
- 26:57Speaker 9: of very clear instructions.
- 26:59Speaker 3: What is that song? We'll find out.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Okay, So a few minutes on the clock, Audrey, you
- 27:05Speaker 2: are conducting the Soft Spooken NPR Interview. The interview will
- 27:09Speaker 2: be over when you hear you're listening to NPR.
- 27:13Speaker 5: Well, we said that are really American, like.
- 27:17Speaker 2: They don't hire English people. I've tried. Okay, are you ready?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Time starts now. It's so good to have you on
- 27:25Speaker 2: NPR radio. I've seen so many of your films. What
- 27:31Speaker 2: what what would you say was one of your favorites?
- 27:34Speaker 2: One of my favorite films.
- 27:35Speaker 9: Yes you specifically that you have been in.
- 27:38Speaker 5: Oh yeah, oh well, probably my favorite one that I
- 27:42Speaker 5: did was The Proposal.
- 27:46Speaker 9: Yeah, yes, and phenomenal.
- 27:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 27:49Speaker 5: And the reason I loved it so much is all
- 27:51Speaker 5: that chicken that we that we ate. Uh and then
- 27:56Speaker 5: and then was I not supposed to say that, I.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Say, tell me more about it? Were you synonyms from?
- 28:01Speaker 1: Now?
- 28:02Speaker 5: Okay? All that poultry, all that poultry that I ate?
- 28:07Speaker 5: And then you know what, we didn't even need napkins
- 28:09Speaker 5: on that set. We just we just went ahead and
- 28:12Speaker 5: rubbed it in. Oh the.
- 28:18Speaker 7: This is It's so good to have you here. I
- 28:20Speaker 7: am quite a I'm a foodie myself. I typically consider
- 28:25Speaker 7: is there was there any special preparation to this chicken
- 28:29Speaker 7: that made it so special?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Oh?
- 28:31Speaker 5: What made it special more was the fact that there
- 28:33Speaker 5: were no napkins and we just made it an amazing
- 28:37Speaker 5: discovery because of a little mistake that they forgot to
- 28:41Speaker 5: bring them to the set, and we just realized how
- 28:43Speaker 5: great they were for our skin.
- 28:45Speaker 7: Oh, I have I have noticed you have? You do
- 28:49Speaker 7: have incredible incredible hands. That is that due to the grease,
- 28:57Speaker 7: If you don't mind me saying of the chicken. Absolutely wow,
- 29:01Speaker 7: And are you planning on marketing this?
- 29:03Speaker 5: I definitely am. Yes, that is.
- 29:06Speaker 7: Oh, it's such a wonderful benefit to our listeners. Are
- 29:11Speaker 7: there any specific sense that you have in mind?
- 29:15Speaker 5: The scent of miss congeniality?
- 29:18Speaker 7: Is that, honestly one of my favorite scents.
- 29:23Speaker 2: You're listening to NPR Okay, fantastic interview support public radio.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Uh odra. Do you know who Megan was?
- 29:35Speaker 9: I think she was Sandra Ballash.
- 29:36Speaker 2: She was indeed true great movie knowledge. And do you
- 29:40Speaker 2: know what specific product Sandra Bullock was on NPR to promote.
- 29:45Speaker 9: Chicken grease hand cream.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Yeah, well, dam.
- 29:58Speaker 2: So that's that is going to be too points for
- 30:00Speaker 2: You've got female great stuff. We're gonna move on over
- 30:04Speaker 2: to when Johnny met Stephie still the best team name.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Sorry sorry, and we are gonna put Steph in headphones.
- 30:12Speaker 2: It was to save us running back to doing the
- 30:14Speaker 2: like la la laughing backstage. This is taking just as long, okay,
- 30:19Speaker 2: So let's get some music for Steph.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Is that okay?
- 30:22Speaker 2: Volume? Okay? Steph's rocking away. Johnny, you are going to
- 30:26Speaker 2: be Hugh grand And what's what's Hugh Grant here on
- 30:32Speaker 2: NPR to promote any ideas avocados. Okay, yeah, is avocado
- 30:40Speaker 2: meo is a thing? Avocado plumbing isn't a thing. Plumbing
- 30:44Speaker 2: for mayonnaise, Okay, We're gonna go with plumbing for mayonnaise,
- 30:49Speaker 2: whatever that is. Okay, I think Steph. Steph's rocking out.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Johnny you know who you are. Yeah, you're Hugh Grant. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 2: and you are promoting.
- 31:01Speaker 5: What I was fixing my hair.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Absolutely, plumbing for mayonnaise. Plumbing for mayonnaise.
- 31:08Speaker 9: That was awesome.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Okay, thank you.
- 31:12Speaker 2: We have two minutes on the clock with Steph conducting
- 31:14Speaker 2: the interview for MPR.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Your time starts now.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Thank you so much for joining us today during your
- 31:25Speaker 1: busy schedule.
- 31:26Speaker 6: Uh.
- 31:28Speaker 1: The thing I want to ask you the most is
- 31:30Speaker 1: who is your favorite co star?
- 31:33Speaker 4: Well, I am. I would have to say, oh, I
- 31:42Speaker 4: don't know.
- 31:45Speaker 5: Oh, Julia was fantastic.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Was it real orange juice?
- 31:52Speaker 5: Of course it was. I got everywhere.
- 31:55Speaker 4: Wow, yes, yes, And that's what led me to coming
- 32:03Speaker 4: on your show.
- 32:04Speaker 5: This project. It's very important.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm hearing that it's somewhere in the in the field.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Could you clarify which field?
- 32:18Speaker 4: My understanding, all fields everywhere have pipes of some sort.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Yeah, And those pipes are carrying.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Those pipes are carrying a mixture of egg and lemon
- 32:33Speaker 4: juice and oil, I believe.
- 32:40Speaker 5: And it needs to get out of there. It really
- 32:45Speaker 5: needs to get out of there.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's there's a clog. You're concerned with?
- 32:49Speaker 14: You?
- 32:50Speaker 5: Is that?
- 32:50Speaker 2: Is that what I'm hearing?
- 32:52Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know if i'd call it a clog,
- 32:55Speaker 4: but yes, maybe more universal.
- 33:00Speaker 2: More universal than a clog, perhaps a rain.
- 33:06Speaker 5: Yes, clock is a good word. This is a lot
- 33:13Speaker 5: of clogs.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 33:18Speaker 1: You know you.
- 33:19Speaker 2: I'm really I'm really glad you came on the show.

- 33:35Speaker 1: Excellent? Grand He looks deeply uncomfortable.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Doesn't he always does?
- 33:42Speaker 1: That's true. And Hugh was promoting some kind of mayonnaise
- 33:49Speaker 1: delivery infrastructure.
- 33:53Speaker 2: I like the word infrastructure. Is there a word that
- 33:56Speaker 2: infrastructure makes you think of.
- 33:59Speaker 15: Roads, infrastructure, sewer man mayonnaise sewer.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll give it to them. It's the first game.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Come on, two points, thank you. We'll take mayonnaise plumbing Okay, yeah, plumb,
- 34:15Speaker 2: you know, plumbing for mayonnaise. Yeah yeah, Okay, fantastic. We
- 34:20Speaker 2: are going to move back on over to You've got female.
- 34:23Speaker 5: You know what I think might be helpful is maybe
- 34:25Speaker 5: if we switched spots.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Oh, it might be helpful for the.
- 34:31Speaker 5: She did not do that on purpose.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Okay, Meghan is rocking away. This piss hoog is going
- 34:43Speaker 2: to tell Audre who she is right now? Uh, Audra,
- 34:47Speaker 2: you're gonna be Reese Witherspoon, Reese Witherspoon. But what is
- 34:51Speaker 2: what is Reese Witherspoon promoting on NPR. Let's let's hear
- 34:54Speaker 2: some suggestions, some weird projects. We're gonna take crystal meth
- 34:59Speaker 2: and we're gonna mix it with something else. We're going
- 35:06Speaker 2: to take crystal meth sporks is what we're going to
- 35:09Speaker 2: take from crystal meth spoks. Okay, Udro, who are you?
- 35:16Speaker 9: I'm Reese Witherspoon, and.
- 35:17Speaker 3: What are you promoting?
- 35:18Speaker 1: Crystal meth sporks.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Crystal meth sporks.
- 35:22Speaker 5: Okay, that song had instructions in it.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I was doing right.
- 35:26Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 35:27Speaker 9: It's a good one. It's a jo I don't know
- 35:32Speaker 9: what to say.
- 35:33Speaker 2: It's a great sum is the top of the charts
- 35:35Speaker 2: in the UK for like twenty weeks straight, amazing us
- 35:40Speaker 2: neither here nor there.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Two minutes on NPR. Are you both ready?
- 35:45Speaker 5: I think so.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Your time starts now.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 35:48Speaker 5: Thank you so much for joining us today with your
- 35:51Speaker 5: amazing presence. You look amazing. Can you tell me maybe
- 35:56Speaker 5: what what was your favorite maybe your your favorite location
- 36:02Speaker 5: to film in.
- 36:04Speaker 7: I just I really I loved being in Alabama. It's
- 36:10Speaker 7: just it just feels like home when I'm when I'm
- 36:14Speaker 7: in Alabama.
- 36:15Speaker 1: So anytime, I'm.
- 36:17Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:18Speaker 5: And I understand you're working on a new project now I.
- 36:22Speaker 7: Am, and it's a little a little off brand for me,
- 36:28Speaker 7: but I'm really I'm I'm really.
- 36:30Speaker 9: Excited about it.
- 36:31Speaker 5: Okay, can it tell me? Tell me more about it?
- 36:35Speaker 5: Is it it's something that you're passionate about.
- 36:40Speaker 7: Incredibly passionate. I'm I'm so passionate about scheduled drugs.
- 36:50Speaker 9: Whichever one is, like the.
- 36:52Speaker 7: One of the most dangerous schedules, I'm really interested in
- 36:55Speaker 7: that one. I just think the like shape and the
- 36:58Speaker 7: way the light hits it, it just minds me of
- 37:01Speaker 7: just gross diamonds. And so I'm just I'm just so
- 37:07Speaker 7: excited about a new a new, a new.
- 37:11Speaker 5: Vessel for these Oh my goodness, Well that sounds really
- 37:17Speaker 5: really different for you.
- 37:20Speaker 7: It's yeah, it's like it's like we take my name
- 37:24Speaker 7: and we just make it a little spikier than it
- 37:26Speaker 7: was before.
- 37:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I think.
- 37:29Speaker 7: That that's and it's it's just it's such a it's
- 37:33Speaker 7: such an innovation, or like the way that you would
- 37:37Speaker 7: typically hold these these drugs just like a little a
- 37:42Speaker 7: little spike you normally you'd have like a bowl and
- 37:45Speaker 7: like a handle on it.
- 37:46Speaker 3: But you know, you're listening to npry.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Fantastic, some some clever stuff there from what was what
- 38:00Speaker 2: was Reese with a stud on NPR promoting.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Time to release crystal meth halfway crystal meth off a
- 38:17Speaker 5: fork eating crystal meth with a.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Okay, we've we've done the first pass, and we've had
- 38:24Speaker 2: three chances. We're gonna say no to that one. It
- 38:26Speaker 2: was crystal meth sporks so close, so very close, but
- 38:32Speaker 2: just one point for guessing the correct name.
- 38:34Speaker 5: There not even half a point for crystal myth, do.
- 38:37Speaker 16: You know what?
- 38:38Speaker 2: Just so this doesn't end in a tie, and then
- 38:39Speaker 2: we need to invent more things to extend the shore
- 38:41Speaker 2: with chance even further.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Let's say half a point.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Okay.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Last up in our game of public radio is going
- 38:55Speaker 2: to be Johnny with headphones on. Haven't even started playing
- 38:58Speaker 2: it yet, and Johnny started racking out.
- 39:00Speaker 5: You caught me.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Goofba right, Okay, there we go and you can't even
- 39:07Speaker 2: hear that. Okay, So Steph, Yes, you are going to
- 39:11Speaker 2: be Matthew.
- 39:11Speaker 1: McConaughey, Oh my Texan.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Brother, but wonderful peaking providience. What is Matthew McConaughey here
- 39:20Speaker 2: to promote any sitution?
- 39:23Speaker 3: Okay? What kind of fortnight skin?
- 39:31Speaker 2: Wait?
- 39:32Speaker 3: What's what's what's what?
- 39:33Speaker 5: Did you just say?

- 40:30Speaker 5: Well, we can't thank you enough.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Tell me what's the latest project you've been working on.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Well, I've been trying to get in with a younger generation,
- 40:39Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Yeah, and the kids are
- 40:42Speaker 1: always playing these video games where they're building stuff and
- 40:45Speaker 1: shooting each other, and they like dress up for Halloween
- 40:49Speaker 1: or something.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Okay, and I.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Thought, why not combine that with one of my favorite
- 41:01Speaker 1: things on this God's Green Earth?
- 41:03Speaker 5: Yes?
- 41:05Speaker 1: Would you pull it out of that box and pour
- 41:07Speaker 1: it in the bowl? Mix it with the water?
- 41:10Speaker 2: All right?
- 41:11Speaker 1: All right, all right, all.
- 41:12Speaker 4: Right, an inspired idea. What benefit will this bring to
- 41:22Speaker 4: the wonderful listeners at NPR.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Well, what the kids don't know is once they're wearing
- 41:29Speaker 1: the box, when they turn around, the box says, listen
- 41:33Speaker 1: to MPR kids.
- 41:36Speaker 2: You feel me?
- 41:39Speaker 5: I do feel you? Good, Lord, I do.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I knew you was a good people. Robert Roberts.
- 41:49Speaker 5: This has been Robert Roberts with who's it gonna who?
- 41:55Speaker 16: You got?
- 41:55Speaker 1: Fifteen seconds? Robert Roberts.
- 41:57Speaker 4: I don't think we're gonna get as close as we're gonna.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Get all right, all right, you want to you want
- 42:04Speaker 2: to call the AI. You're listening to m PR, all right,
- 42:12Speaker 2: I'm ready, Okay, Johnny, who was Steph Matthew McConaughey. Yes,
- 42:18Speaker 2: for a point, Steph was indeed Matthew McConaughey. And what
- 42:20Speaker 2: was Matthew McConaughey promoting on public radio?
- 42:23Speaker 4: This is easy for me. This is an easy one.
- 42:28Speaker 4: It's basically kids dressed up like stuff. Oh maybe it's
- 42:34Speaker 4: this is it furries making mashed potatoes?
- 42:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:43Speaker 4: Like I said, easy, this game is for babes.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Surprisingly close in the grand scheme of things, it was.
- 42:54Speaker 2: It was a Riserny fortnight skin Like I said, so
- 43:02Speaker 2: just one point there, but fantastic stuff. That is the
- 43:05Speaker 2: end of round one, Producer gen. Just before we get
- 43:11Speaker 2: to the scores, if you've seen the cute guy working
- 43:13Speaker 2: the tech booth tonight, he's he's cute. I think you
- 43:16Speaker 2: two would be great together. Oh yeah, I can see it.
- 43:30Speaker 5: What are those scores? That study?
- 43:40Speaker 4: There?
- 43:40Speaker 2: We go three and a half.
- 43:43Speaker 5: Wore a little bit of a ponytail headache. I'm just
- 43:45Speaker 5: gonna take this.
- 43:54Speaker 3: What the hell?
- 43:55Speaker 2: My chances just went down? This is not going well.
- 43:59Speaker 2: For me. Okay, we've just had our meet c unfortunately,
- 44:02Speaker 2: but it's time for the first date and why not
- 44:04Speaker 2: a karaoke bar.
- 44:05Speaker 3: It's time for round two.
- 44:13Speaker 5: I just remember I have to do something right after this,
- 44:16Speaker 5: and something's just gonna change really fast.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Oh sure, okay, yeah, absolutely, okay, while Meghan's doing that.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Round two is called parody.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Ok It's the singing based guessing game where our players
- 44:29Speaker 2: will have to communicate the title of a specific rom
- 44:32Speaker 2: com without singing any of the keywords in the title
- 44:35Speaker 2: of the rom com. They will communicate the title by
- 44:38Speaker 2: singing new words to the tune of a famous song
- 44:40Speaker 2: that has love in the title. And please don't sing
- 44:43Speaker 2: too many of the real words in the actual song.
- 44:46Speaker 2: We can only afford these songs if we change the lyrics.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Parody style, fair use enjoy it. Okay. So it does
- 44:54Speaker 2: say here that Meghan is up first, but Meghan is
- 44:56Speaker 2: currently out of the room. So Johnny, do do you
- 44:58Speaker 2: mind going first?
- 44:59Speaker 7: Ye?
- 45:00Speaker 5: I mean no, I'm ready.
- 45:03Speaker 1: It's for baby yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, it's perf the song I'm about to say.
- 45:15Speaker 2: You will be changing the lyrics to communicate that rom
- 45:18Speaker 2: com to steph. Okay, and the song is this love
- 45:21Speaker 2: by Maroon five? Okay, somebody hum that for me?
- 45:26Speaker 5: Okay, I know it. I know that one.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Okay, Chris, whenever you already hit hit Maroon five.
- 45:45Speaker 4: I was going to my house and there was a
- 45:50Speaker 4: guy there.
- 45:51Speaker 17: He had really long hair. I was talking to my dad.
- 45:59Speaker 17: He was spraying windecks on all of.
- 46:02Speaker 5: My booboos something or something. How does a song go?
- 46:11Speaker 5: Does it go?
- 46:12Speaker 4: Up right?
- 46:12Speaker 1: Here?
- 46:14Speaker 5: Great? This? Don't sing no words?
- 46:23Speaker 10: Married?
- 46:23Speaker 2: Is this movie?
- 46:28Speaker 5: Something about a twin in a pump in this movie? All?
- 46:36Speaker 6: Right?
- 46:36Speaker 2: There we go?
- 46:37Speaker 5: You?
- 46:40Speaker 9: Has he ever been hotter?
- 46:45Speaker 5: Guys?
- 46:46Speaker 4: I do musical improv up here a lot. That was
- 46:49Speaker 4: the worst I've ever done. And I'm so sweaty.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Thank you much. We're doing that. Sorry I did this,
- 47:01Speaker 2: but it was because you were starting to say, exactly,
- 47:04Speaker 2: I pan, we have to cut.
- 47:05Speaker 3: We have to just would end the whole podcast.
- 47:07Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, but I think there were there were some
- 47:11Speaker 4: clues in there.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Definitely, Yeah, Steph, what rom com was Johnny singing.
- 47:16Speaker 1: About my big fat Greek wedding?
- 47:18Speaker 2: It was indeed my big fat Greek wedding for a point,
- 47:21Speaker 2: And I'm also going to hand out some performance points
- 47:23Speaker 2: Johnny you weren't supposed to go first.
- 47:25Speaker 3: I put you under a lot of pressure there.
- 47:31Speaker 5: I have to do this.
- 47:32Speaker 3: I mean to be kind, not patronizing. Out five points.
- 47:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you four points for performance. Four points. Okay,
- 47:41Speaker 2: we are gonna move on over to You've got.
- 47:46Speaker 14: Who is?
- 47:47Speaker 5: She wanted to get married on Valentine's Dance. She just
- 47:52Speaker 5: had to change here.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Now that checks out.
- 48:01Speaker 9: What these things he's always referring to.
- 48:08Speaker 5: Your dude, Matt, your marriage is going down like her hair.
- 48:18Speaker 7: Bro.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think I'm going to fight this.
- 48:23Speaker 5: You don't like the stuff, do you? You don't like it?
- 48:26Speaker 9: These are my favorite? Oh my gosh.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Okay, now, now she's better partner than I am because
- 48:33Speaker 2: I've never bought ordered gummy sweets.
- 48:36Speaker 9: I'm just lost in her eyes.
- 48:42Speaker 5: Okay, sorry, Matt, we were doing something.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Yeah again, If I couldn't interrupt this for a second, Megan,
- 48:48Speaker 2: would you mind singing as a song with lyrics giving
- 48:52Speaker 2: clues to a roum com to the tune of a
- 48:54Speaker 2: famous song with love in the title.
- 48:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I get I heard I heard it back there.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, nice, It's the same premise, but just a
- 48:59Speaker 2: different song.
- 49:00Speaker 5: Sitting down and just sitting, do yes, just.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Sitting, sitting and doing sitting and singing.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Megan, if you could also come over here and look
- 49:06Speaker 2: at the you're giving clues to this film, okay, okay,
- 49:11Speaker 2: and you are doing it to the tune of Tainted
- 49:13Speaker 2: Love by Soft Cell. Oh yeah, a song with love
- 49:16Speaker 2: in the title. All Right you ready, Meghan? Yeah, Chris
- 49:19Speaker 2: hit the music.
- 49:25Speaker 8: Occasionally, I'd like to sit in a cafe with you
- 49:31Speaker 8: and pretend that I'm having an orgasm. We've been friends
- 49:39Speaker 8: for so long and now I'm singing this song and
- 49:43Speaker 8: eventually I'm going to fall.
- 49:46Speaker 5: In the with you and it spasim.
- 49:53Speaker 18: Yeah, it's an old friendship. The turns it to soak
- 49:59Speaker 18: them touch me please, I just want to touch your knees.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Fantastic that classic scene when they touch me.
- 50:15Speaker 2: I love when they touch me. Brilliant performance there. I'm
- 50:21Speaker 2: also thinking about the touch knees part and where that
- 50:23Speaker 2: comes in.
- 50:24Speaker 5: But I mean, are under this table? I don't know.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Adra what rom com was Meghan singing about.
- 50:37Speaker 9: This was absolutely when Harry met Sally.
- 50:39Speaker 2: It was indeed when Harry met Sally for a points,
- 50:42Speaker 2: and because she also did a quick change right before
- 50:45Speaker 2: I'm going to give the full five out of five
- 50:47Speaker 2: points for Meghan lovely stuff for a total of six points.
- 50:53Speaker 5: Wait, look at it's.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Just casually throwing it.
- 51:02Speaker 16: Damn.
- 51:04Speaker 9: Okay, you're good.
- 51:06Speaker 2: No, but we've still got forty five minutes of this. Yeah, okay.
- 51:13Speaker 2: So next we are going to have Steph singing a
- 51:17Speaker 2: song which will be Love Story by Taylor Swift. Yay,
- 51:22Speaker 2: and you are going to be singing this wrong com Yes, okay,
- 51:27Speaker 2: love Story by Taylor Swift.
- 51:29Speaker 3: Hitit, Chris.
- 51:38Speaker 1: I don't know how long the intro to the Curiosity
- 51:39Speaker 1: song is, so I think the same. Okay, great.
- 51:47Speaker 18: We were both adults when I called the radio, I
- 51:52Speaker 18: was there and you were here.
- 51:55Speaker 1: In your car. You heard my voice through the radio.
- 52:00Speaker 9: Waste.
- 52:03Speaker 1: I said, I think my wife died. And I'm really tired.
- 52:07Speaker 1: I cannot sleep in the city with a needle, and
- 52:11Speaker 1: I'm sad.
- 52:15Speaker 15: I'm so sad.
- 52:19Speaker 1: But you were driving and you fell in love with me.
- 52:23Speaker 1: So you drive, I.
- 52:24Speaker 19: Think, to New York City and even though that's not
- 52:28Speaker 19: the city in the title of this movie. And I said,
- 52:35Speaker 19: we are so tired.
- 52:37Speaker 1: What's that called when you can't sleep?
- 52:40Speaker 6: We are so tired?
- 52:42Speaker 1: What's that called?
- 52:42Speaker 19: When you can't sleep West Coast to East coast. That's
- 52:46Speaker 19: how the movie Ghost Tom Pinks mad cryan at the
- 52:50Speaker 19: top of a building.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Was incredible.
- 53:02Speaker 5: That was so much better than mine that I'm coming
- 53:06Speaker 5: home with you?
- 53:11Speaker 4: Wait why I don't know wearing the dog hat.
- 53:16Speaker 2: He doesn't feel worthy? Dog might not feel worthy? But
- 53:21Speaker 2: do you know rom coms? Do you know what the
- 53:23Speaker 2: rom coms that Steph was singing?
- 53:24Speaker 4: I don't know round comms, but steph song was so good.
- 53:27Speaker 4: I think it's sleeplessens.
- 53:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it is.
- 53:32Speaker 5: Never seen it?
- 53:34Speaker 3: Sorry, don't need to.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Did his wife dive?
- 53:36Speaker 5: Was that right?
- 53:37Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 53:37Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I think so, yeah, okay.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Yeah breathed.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah. So a point there for Johnny forgetting the correct score.
- 53:47Speaker 2: And I think I'm going to break the scale and
- 53:48Speaker 2: crank it up even higher and say six points.
- 53:50Speaker 3: For that performance.
- 53:53Speaker 1: I would like I would like to thank my best
- 53:55Speaker 1: friend Taylor.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Swift Yours was longer as all because she throws in
- 54:00Speaker 2: that pre chorus as well.
- 54:02Speaker 5: So yeah, amazing, great stuff.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Okay, Well, from one queen to another queen and I
- 54:07Speaker 2: wish I was talking about my wife, but she'll actually
- 54:10Speaker 2: be singing to queen. It's gonna be crazy little thing
- 54:13Speaker 2: called Love by Queen. The order will be singing to
- 54:15Speaker 2: the tune of and would you like to come and
- 54:17Speaker 2: see the rom com? I guess I don't need to
- 54:20Speaker 2: cover these because all the rest have been done. Yours
- 54:23Speaker 2: is okay?
- 54:24Speaker 9: I say that loud?
- 54:26Speaker 5: Almost? Okay?
- 54:29Speaker 2: You ready?
- 54:30Speaker 7: I would like to say the last time we played
- 54:33Speaker 7: this game, I made one rhyme, got so excited and
- 54:36Speaker 7: forgot we were playing a game.
- 54:39Speaker 9: So that good feeling. That's the level I'm working out.
- 54:44Speaker 7: Some songs don't need rhymes, and that's just another level
- 54:47Speaker 7: of artistic license.
- 54:50Speaker 5: All right.
- 54:52Speaker 3: It's the music.
- 54:59Speaker 7: This film was made based on shakespeare play. It has
- 55:05Speaker 7: he Ledger and Julia.
- 55:10Speaker 9: Styles in it.
- 55:11Speaker 7: I miss you, Leaguer, Oh god, I miss that guy.
- 55:17Speaker 7: Julia Stiles. His character doesn't like him for certain reasons.
- 55:24Speaker 7: She writes a poem to inform him of them, numerically,
- 55:30Speaker 7: all of the reasons that she's mad at him.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Yes, fantastic singing, fantastic dancing and accompaniment, even if it
- 55:42Speaker 2: is some kind of mating dance for my wife. Excellent plumage. Okay, Aldra,
- 55:57Speaker 2: you did brilliantly. I don't know what you're talking about Johnny,
- 56:00Speaker 2: a musical improviser, and you did better than john It's
- 56:02Speaker 2: true you threw him in first I did. I threw
- 56:05Speaker 2: Johnny in the deep end. But Megan, what rom com
- 56:09Speaker 2: was all you're singing about?
- 56:10Speaker 5: It was something I would never actually say to are
- 56:14Speaker 5: ten things I hate about you?
- 56:17Speaker 3: Things I hate about you?
- 56:18Speaker 5: I can't think of a single thing I hate about you.
- 56:19Speaker 11: It's not even impliment God, except that you're married to
- 56:23Speaker 11: Matt and I guess I.
- 56:27Speaker 3: Think my name is piss hog.
- 56:31Speaker 9: Yeah, respect that his name is piss hog.
- 56:35Speaker 5: I will respect that.
- 56:37Speaker 9: I think.
- 56:37Speaker 7: I think this is our dark knight of the soul.
- 56:39Speaker 7: You won't respect my husband's name is piss Hock.
- 56:42Speaker 5: I won't respect that he called you crazy and stupid.
- 56:45Speaker 9: I'm into it.
- 56:49Speaker 5: When are you're going to be into yourself? Are are
- 56:53Speaker 5: they going to figure it out? Guys?
- 57:00Speaker 2: Just before we either move on or kiss, I'm going
- 57:03Speaker 2: to give order five out of five points for the performance.
- 57:07Speaker 2: So five points there plus the one points or six total.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Thank you, Jen.
- 57:11Speaker 2: That is the end of the round. Producer, Jen, I
- 57:15Speaker 2: know you just said you're married, but I've got this
- 57:16Speaker 2: written in the script. Seriously, do you see the way
- 57:18Speaker 2: he's looking at you, his fingers on those sliders.
- 57:22Speaker 20: Please Patrick, lean over a little, get a load of
- 57:36Speaker 20: that guy.
- 57:43Speaker 2: Jen, What are those scores? If you please?
- 57:45Speaker 4: All right, well.
- 57:54Speaker 3: We made it to one point five base is what
- 57:57Speaker 3: that is?
- 57:58Speaker 5: And neck and.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Neck right, but you've got.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Is killing us.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Very tense, very tense.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Okay, just before the next round, I do have to
- 58:15Speaker 2: do a sponsored ad read. We're very lucky that we
- 58:17Speaker 2: have that, so bear with me. Rom Coms are back,
- 58:25Speaker 2: starring the King of Queens himself, Kevin James. Watch Paul
- 58:28Speaker 2: Blart sob his way across Italy in a film that
- 58:31Speaker 2: many are calling a free vacation for Kevin James. Solo MEO,
- 58:37Speaker 2: it doesn't grammatically make sense in Italian, but when has
- 58:40Speaker 2: that stopped America?
- 58:42Speaker 3: Okay, we're very lucky to have that, Jo, Did I
- 58:44Speaker 3: have the money?
- 58:44Speaker 7: Now?
- 58:50Speaker 2: Just take that.
- 58:52Speaker 15: You're gonna you're gonna need that for alimony.
- 58:57Speaker 3: Oh fantastic. All right, it's time for round three.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Okay. Round three is called red Flag, Green Flag. For
- 59:10Speaker 2: this game, I'm going to call on our live Peak
- 59:12Speaker 2: improv audience and specifically those of you who need some
- 59:15Speaker 2: relationship or dating advice from our panel of experts right now,
- 59:19Speaker 2: because that's who these four all are. They are all
- 59:21Speaker 2: now officially relationship experts. And I thought that was going
- 59:26Speaker 2: to be the case for these two, but it turns
- 59:27Speaker 2: out it's also the case with these two with each
- 59:29Speaker 2: other as well. So Panel, once we hear someone's problem,
- 59:34Speaker 2: I'd like each team to select a flag that I
- 59:37Speaker 2: have down here at random. One of those flags will
- 59:40Speaker 2: be green and the other will be red. I would
- 59:43Speaker 2: like our team to offer one minute of advice that
- 59:45Speaker 2: matches the color of the flag.
- 59:47Speaker 13: You draw.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Points are not for best advice, it's for how accurately
- 59:51Speaker 2: you match the color of your flag. So if it's
- 59:54Speaker 2: a green flag, you need to give the best possible advice,
- 59:57Speaker 2: try and fix this person's life. If it's a red flag,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: and ruin their life in the best way possible. Awesome.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: So we are going to ask the audience if anyone
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: is feeling like they'd like to have a back and
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: forth little chat with with us in the room. Does
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: anyone have any any problem that they're facing in their
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: relationship right now?
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: Or yes, front row.
- 1:00:19Speaker 14: Yes, my boyfriend's sleep eats and all of our ingredients
- 1:00:24Speaker 14: for the meals that we're going to cheese lots of
- 1:00:32Speaker 14: different Okay, frustrated when I wake up and there's shredded
- 1:00:37Speaker 14: cheese all over my kitchen floor.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: And I had left.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: We're definitely taking this on.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: We'll have a couple of minutes where the panel will
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: ask you a few more questions about that, any questions
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: from the panel.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: Can you tell me what you intend to make with
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: shredded cheese, peanut butter and telling.
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: Okay, it's just there.
- 1:01:09Speaker 14: There meant to be other things and not one.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Come.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: How long have you all been together? How long have
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: you all been together? If that's not too.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Three years?
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: Congrats? What is the layout of your home?
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: M You enter through the.
- 1:01:30Speaker 14: Living room and there is access through the garage if
- 1:01:34Speaker 14: you're looking for that, Oh I always am yeah, okay, respectable, yes,
- 1:01:44Speaker 14: m M.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Okay, do you feel like you've heard you need to
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: hear about that problem or anything? Did you want to
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: hear anything more about the sleep eating?
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: Is?
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: How frequently is the occur Is this occurring.
- 1:01:55Speaker 14: Some times a week? Though a few times a month,
- 1:01:58Speaker 14: something creepy will happen, Like he'll stand in my closet and.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: That's what that's what I was gonna I was gonna ask.
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: I was gonna ask if there are other sleep activities,
- 1:02:08Speaker 11: like does he like maybe go on and and put
- 1:02:11Speaker 11: on one part of an outfit you were planning on
- 1:02:13Speaker 11: wearing the next day, or.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Any of my panties which more unfortunately, there was he
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: ever spent in my house.
- 1:02:25Speaker 14: He sat up in bed and yelled canopy.
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: That's pretty common. Actually nice, is he here right now?
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: Okay?
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: That is a that is a fantastic problem that we
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: need some advice for. But we need to decide who's
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: gonna be giving the green flag advice and who's gonna
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: be giving the red flag advice. Oh my god, to
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: draw like.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Means boring.
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: Yes, I always.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Am if you want to wave it while you're giving
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: the advice. So I think we're gonna hear green flag
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: advice first. So for this specific problem, you're going to
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: offer one minute. You can speak, taking turns speaking take
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: thirty seconds each. But how have you choose to use
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: your time as a couple? Yeah, how if you choose.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: To use it?
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Yeah, so Johnny, you can speak on this. But beloved
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: partner of mine, what I'm hearing is that the boyfriend
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: is eating the essential parts of these meals. What is
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: he missing essentially in your relationship. The cheese is the
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: main part of the case of da It's the middle
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the deli meets the middle of the sandwich, the peanut
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: butter middle of the sandwich.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: One time we were snowshing Ottawa and we were wearing
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: a good story. We were we would and find a
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: restaurant because a restaurants there, and we were totally slapping
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: ass twenty seconds and we found the meat, the meat
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: in each other's ass. And that's what I suggest for
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: you and your boyfriend.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Find the meat in his ass.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: And he'll find the meat in yours.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: All right, that's your time, and that's green flag advice.
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: I think you know it is.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: You de great, Okay, Okay, Now we're gonna hear the
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: red flag advice for that same problem. I'm curious to
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: hear what the opposite of that is.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: I'm ready.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Your time starts now.
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: I think a good idea for you. Once he falls
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: back asleep, to grab that cheese, Grab some cheese, grab
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: some peanut butter, and the third thing meats elly meats, Yeah,
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: and just smear it all over his body. And then
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: and then when he wakes up, you tell him that
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: he did that to himself.
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: If you just start to create a deep sense of
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: distrust in himself.
- 1:05:16Speaker 9: Then maybe it'll just shake.
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: His sense of self so much that it'll sink into
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: when he's sleeping and it'll be like, maybe I'm not
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: someone who eats in their sleep anymore.
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: Yeah. Alternately, padlocks just lock him into his room.
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: Yeah, you would think that the padlocks would go on
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: the cabinets.
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: No, lock the man, not the food.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Yea.
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: And I think I think that that. I think that's
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: gonna have a way higher efficacy rate. Yeah, I think
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: it's really important lock the man down.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: Yes, not in marriage, but right literally that's the time.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Fantastic red flag advice there. Just before I hand out
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: some points for that, Amanda, how did you feel about
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: the green flag and red flag advice?
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: Yeah, I have to consider with me.
- 1:06:07Speaker 14: Yeah, but I like the touching story of snowshoe.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:06:15Speaker 9: I also love pressing then, so.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: I think I really like the Yeah. I think I
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: also preferred the padlock idea. I think the red flag
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: advice was a little stronger there. So I'm going to
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: say five points for you've got female and four points
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: for when Johnny met Stephie.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: They don't get us.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Okay? And also, Jen, could you hand a rom com
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: trivia book from our friend at Triviality. This is actually
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: a sponsored read for there Go Amanda, thanks for thanks
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: for helping us out. That's a book of rom com trivia. Okay,
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: we're gonna hear one more set of advice. Does anyone
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: else have a problem that you unlucky in love in
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: some way? You're looking for some dating advice maybe, or
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: maybe you've been in a relationship for a long time
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: and you're looking to spice things up a bit.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: Yes, okay, let's let's hear more about this.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: You're you're capable of being the bad cop when your
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: your dog is being bad and you don't like that.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: You don't like being incapable, so of course.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: You don't like that.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: How long have you had the dog?
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: For years?
- 1:07:31Speaker 14: Now?
- 1:07:33Speaker 9: You have been married longer.
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: It is an acquisition of your marriage.
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: And this so you're you're saying that you feel bad
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: that you are forcing your partner to be the bad
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: cop to the dog.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: What kinds of things are you letting this dog get
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: away with?
- 1:07:55Speaker 20: Well?
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: I mean.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: At oh, so you're nurturing a toxic relationship between your pets.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Does We'll see, we'll find out. Any more questions for
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Patrick in the back?
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: Then?
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Okay, Well, there's only one thing to do before we
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: begin the advice. It's time to swap flags.
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: Okay, how do I feel about this new flag, this
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: new identity.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Well, we're about to find out, because you can have
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: a minute to display it publicly in front of everyone.
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: Yes, it's a little sorry, understand it.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: That's fine, that's okay.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Are you ready to give your green flag relationship advice
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: to to Patrick? Okay, your time starts.
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: I would love to What I think you need to
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: do is I think you need to practice other situations
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: in which are more comfortable being the bad cop.
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: This could be.
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: Sending something back at a restaurant or asked just asking
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: them to bring you another thing. This could be sexually.
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: I don't know your life, but I just I think
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: that maybe if you make yourself more comfortable with the
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: concept of conflict or being the bad cop, maybe it
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: could trickle into some other.
- 1:09:26Speaker 11: Areas of your life, and maybe even just a reframing
- 1:09:29Speaker 11: of this idea of being a bad cop. Maybe saying
- 1:09:33Speaker 11: no isn't really bad and there's times when you just
- 1:09:38Speaker 11: need to hold healthy boundaries, you know, whether it's at
- 1:09:41Speaker 11: the restaurant or in your marriage or with your dog,
- 1:09:46Speaker 11: and saying no doesn't make you a bad guy.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: It doesn't make her a bad guy either.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Yeah, very good point to end on that. That did
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: sound like it by the end, it was definitely green
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: flag advice. But the start of the green flag advice
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: was return things to service, will because make that life harder.
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: I don't know, it's sometimes sometimes there's unorthodox methods.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: I believe it.
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: He could get a treat anytime he says no, Like
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: if you're training her, times.
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: Up right, it's your time is up?
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Yeah, red flags, you're right. You're so right, babe. Okay,
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: you're ready to offer advice for this situation. Yeah, I'm
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: ready time now.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: You see when we were snowshoeing in Ottawa, WI and
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: we were just going at it. I was like, Johnny,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: you should be the dog, and he became the dog.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: So I think that's what you need to do. Get it.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Get in your dog's headspace sexually.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: There was another time we were we were just like
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: right in between humps on a camel on a camel
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: in the Sahara and we were running out of and
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: was like, somebody's got to kill the camel to get
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: the water out, and she was like, you do and
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: I was like, nah, you do it, and then you
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: need to kill your cat.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Kill your cat, and all your problems will go away.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Yea, be the dog, kill the cat.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: Beat the dog, kill the cat. Feed the beast. You
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: want to win. You're so hot, you're so hot.
- 1:11:26Speaker 13: Orry t.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Feed the beast.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: Beat the dog, kill the cat, Feed the beast.
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: You want to win.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Normally I would not condone this behavior, but you are
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: waving the red flags. Maybe I just prefer red flag advice.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna give five points. So when Johnny met Steppie.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: Polite, it's way past everyone's bead so tired.
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: Sorry, Steph, Yeah, sorry, I just noticed you have just
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: a little something right here. There we go, snowshoeing in Awa.
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: No restaurants, but good ass smacking.
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: We'll just have to eat ass.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: I love that this is the direction the rum Coma,
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: and they keep everything so above board in most of
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: those meat out of each other's ass, and it's exactly
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: what I wanted. I'm good despite what's happening over here.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: And I'm not happy about it. I am going to
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: give four points to You've Got Female as well, because
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: it was still some excellent, excellent green flag advice. Then, Patrick,
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: is your problem solved? Fantastic, Patrick, That trivia book will
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: be yours. I'm just vamping now so that Jen can
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: do math.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Another time we were snowshoeing in Ottawa.
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: Yes, so the meat was in the asshole or the
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: meat no that I never said anything about it.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Spiritual meat that you find in your partner's ass right.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, now I'm following.
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, it's metaphysical.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Produce a Jen. Look, if you don't ask him out,
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: I will.
- 1:13:25Speaker 9: It seems like you're going to need it.
- 1:13:32Speaker 16: Keeps going because they change the same amount of.
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: And you got.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: It is gonna be a tense final quick fire around
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: where it can all ches.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: Were you lady in the tramping? Were you lady in
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: the tramping while I wasn't.
- 1:13:58Speaker 5: Luckily Corn gets.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: They're being the dog killing the cat. I'm sorry, Matt.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: I've got to respect it because it was such good advice.
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: Feed the beast.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: You want to win before we get to the final
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: quick fire round where anything can change. I want to
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: remind everyone I didn't point it out earlier, so not
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: a reminder of the mystery prize that what is in
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: the mystery box? What could it be? It could be anything,
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: It could be Gwyneth Paltrow's head absolutely.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: What wow reference.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: So that's what we're playing for, which we will find
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: out in the quick fire around. But shit, it's the
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: thirteenth and you've forgotten to buy chocolates and roses for tomorrow.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Don't worry. Romantics is open until midnight. We can all
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: go by vibrators right after the quick fire round. Okay.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: Our final quick fire around will test your broader pop
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: culture knowledge and it's called never being kissed. In this game,
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: I will give our players clues to a kiss from
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: pop culture history, so the answer will always have the
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: word kiss in it, so you're looking for the word kiss.
- 1:15:04Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Those clues will be in the style of a Hugh
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Grand monologue at the end of a rom com, So
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: just lots of bumbling. I'll try and achieve what Johnny
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: managed to achieve, which was honestly better than I've ever done.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: The British accent.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: That was my highlight of the night for sure.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Now, Matt historically in this game. Yes, because you know
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: what I want to win. Yes, but I hate cutting
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: you off because your bits are excellent. You can cut
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: me off. It's fine. I needed that.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: Thank This can all die.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: This was just all written on a twenty fifteen MacBook Pro,
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: and it can just It's it's half comedy. What you
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: guys do is the brilliant thing. Well, I need that permission,
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: so thank you. Yeah, interrupt me at any point absolutely.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: There is of course a classic pandemonium twist. After you
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: say your answer, you must make a kissing noise. It
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: can be any kind of kissing noise that you want,
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: just really gross out the listeners at home.
- 1:15:53Speaker 16: Okay.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: If you don't make the kissing noise within a second
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: or so, I can't give you the point. Okay, Johnny,
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: that awful and excellent.
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: Yeah, how he kisses me. That's how you find the meat,
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: you guys.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: Kiss It's quick fire. So you buzz in by yelling
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: out your team name. Let's let's practice that. Now you've
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: got yeah, lovely, exactly like that.
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: I'm so bad at this part.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: I'm going to give you an example now so we
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: can all practice. Good Gosh, I don't remember it from
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: the Batman Forever soundtrack, But I I hope it gets
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: your seal of approval. Yes, Johnny, kiss of a rose,
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: I'll say you kis like a rose. It's it's kissed
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: from a rose. But that you You're so close. But
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: you said the answer, and you made the kissing noises?
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Can we can we help our partners by making the
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: kissing noise for them?
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: I think team teamwork makes the dream work. Yes, are
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: we ready for the quick fire around?
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: All right, let's do this good good gosh. I don't
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: know if I could eat another. They're so fiddly and
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: difficult to unrat.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Yes, she's kisses.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Okay, could could gosh, Collie could could Collie?
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Gosh?
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: I'm not sure if they still have these in a
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: post me Too world. It's one way to send a greeting.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: I suppose you just, yes, Johnny.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: Kiss a gram, kissing booth, kiss kissing Graham, kissing both.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: You had it, Yes, it's kiss a gram and then
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: you did kissing noises.
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: Will take it a.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Good gosh? That certainly is a lot of makeup, and
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: we have them to thank for glam metal. I suppose I.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Think I don't know if they said their team name.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: But I heard Megan.
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: Starting saying it was like you again. Uh, kiss the band.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: It is kissed the band, good stuff.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Just an instruction there, just kiss the band.
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: I'm in a band.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Be the dog killed cat, kiss the cat.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: Good gosh. It's just a too darn hot in here,
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: and yet I'm so in love. Something I imagine Cole
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Porter was when he wrote this classic musical still very
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: forward instruction to the leading lady. I heard you got
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: female first.
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: Kiss me Kate.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: It is kiss me Kate, good stuff. Good gosh. I
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: don't think you should care about whether your boyfriend minds
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: it or not. Tell me more about this Cherry Chapstick. Yes, Yes,
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: I kissed a girl. It is I kissed a girl
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: by Katy Perry good stuff. Good gosh. Did they realize
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: the camera would be on them? It's my understanding. Yes,
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: kiss damn yes stuff good gosh. Yes. What a mid
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: two thousand's blast from the past. Uh, perfect for the
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: age of this very panel. One of Robert Downey Junior's
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: comeback movies. I think it's about acting or crime, or
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: possibly both. It's a very specific movie from two thousand
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: and five. There are only so many things with kissing
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: the title, No, not this one. No, it's kiss kiss
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: bang bang an You remember that.
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: Iron Man?
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: Oh, good gosh, that that is an iconic bikini and
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: her name is far from the most offensive thing about
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: this James Bond movie lazily named after a Jack Niel.
- 1:19:38Speaker 9: Yes, Dre, her name is Kissy Suzuki.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: Yeah, they go kiss good stuff, good Bond, goiral knowledge. Yeh,
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: good gosh. Another musical that had a movie version out
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: last year that nobody went to see. I don't think
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: it's in the Marvel franchise. Peter Parker isn't present in
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: this picture.
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: Oh, Johnny miss v Yes, Johnny, A kiss of us
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: is because of a spider spider kiss one more.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: Word, spider woman's kiss of a spider woman good stuff,
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: good gosha a warmongering psychopath. Golly. He escalated the Vietnam
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: War and got hundreds of thousands of civilians. Yes, Henry Kissinger,
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: there was a horrible kiss. Good gosh. A children's book
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: about raccoons. How adorable. It's used to help children under Yes,
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: Johnny kiss kissing hands. There was too long before the
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: kiss noise. I'm sorry, I can't give you the point.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I can't give you the point. No, no
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: one's getting the point, and now quick before the buzzer?
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: Good gosh, could it be the thing we've been building
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: throughout the entire plot of this movie genre that maybe
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: our two lead characters will finally touch lips and wrap
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: this whole narrative into one wet little bow. You better
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: hope that doesn't happen.
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: Was that a hint for this?
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: That's that's the that's the clue of what this? This is?
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: What's this?
- 1:21:17Speaker 9: You've got? Female?
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: Yes, Ordre, the final kiss. It is the final kiss
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: in a rom Good stuff.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: Congrats, And that's the buzzer that I will add in post. Okay,

- 1:22:05Speaker 4: metaphysical meat. Yes, or ask me, you really really could.

- 1:23:16Speaker 5: he recognizes. Yeah, when it's just chords from a guy
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: on a piano or a different guy on a guitar,
