- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Welcome back, Veronique.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: It's been so long and I'm so excited to have you back.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Hello, Ecta.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Hello, everybody.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Yes, it's it's wonderful to be together again.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, the conversations we have are always so interesting and and going so deep into the topics.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm very happy to do that again with you.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Yes, I'm so excited to you know have you on again because you know it's it's really an interesting area, you know, fragrance for I think most consumers, as we've talked about before, you know, in so many ways, whether that's you know, in past episodes for everyone listening, if you haven't had a chance yet to check out our previous episodes with Veronique, definitely, definitely give them a listen.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: And we've talked about things like culture and you know, just the whole like philosophy of perfumery, I feel like, you know, and it's been such a great set of conversations.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: And really on that premise is why we're here again, because recently, you know, with the whole well-being thing coming up in fragrance, right?
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Veronique, I mean, it's it's a huge thing right now, well-being and tying in perfumery and fragrance into well-being.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: And that's really why I wanted to bring you back on because you are the expert.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: You know, for everyone listening, Veronique has a stellar new collection.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: It's called Aroma.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: And, you know, it's literally based on facts of, you know, using fragrance to uplift your mood, to really kind of make you feel and overall better.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: You know, that's really what the line does.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: And for me personally, I can tell you as a consumer, it works.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm obsessed with it.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: So um, I don't want to rant, Veronica.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: I want you to really tell us about it, but I want to get started there.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: You know, I want to talk to you about the whole um your view on well-being as a whole, you know, and how that works with perfumery.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Definitely, you know, I I think that's overall perfume, no matter what they are, is a is a lovely pick-me-up, if you will.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: Um, you smell perfume, and if you like it, it's gonna bring a smile to your face.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: And that that goes with any type of perfume, obviously, you have to like it.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: But perfumes are interestingly um related to your emotion, related to your memories.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: When you smell perfume, you connect to a part of your brain that basically triggers memories and triggers emotions.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: You know, we smell, and the connector to the brain is not in the cortex, it's not in your rational brain, it's in your instinctive brain, the reptilian brain, the limbic brain.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: And so those are the areas of the brain that are, you know, about your instincts and about your emotions.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: So fragrances are closely related to what makes you tick instinctively, uh, gives you a sense of comfort or danger, gives you a sense of, yeah, uh, this person is good for me.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: We can reproduce the race together or not.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: So it's really about your the instinct as human race, and then it's about your emotional background as a human being, and that is truly personal.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: So, whatever your journey is, fragrance is gonna relate to your personal emotional journey.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: So the entire human race is connected in the same way to the instinctive part of the brain when we talk about fragrance, and then we add another layer which is very personal because it is your emotional journey and your memories, and that's pretty unique.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: But so, fragrance in general, no matter how they are made, no matter what ingredient they use, no matter where they are made, will trigger those instinctive reactions and those emotional connections.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: That's what fragrance does, and that's why fragrance in general makes you feel good.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: If you like a fragrance, it's gonna make you feel good.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: You're gonna have a smile on your face because it connects you to the deep part of yourself.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: But what I've tried to do with Aroma that you mentioned was going way beyond that, and not just accepting that fragrance make you feel good, but trying and making sure that fragrance would make you feel better.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: And if you want, we can talk about it because aroma truly, truly are composed to make you feel better, and we've proven it.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know, that's really the heart of like I love how you, you know, explain that because what the more I'm seeing fragrance come up, right, in the whole industry, like across industries, I'm seeing it come up more and more now in you know, communities like skincare enthusiast communities, people who are really into well-being, you know, they're really into these things that are gonna really benefit you in the long run, you know, and it's the well-being community.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: That's what I like to call it.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: And so, as you know, that spans industries, you know, you've got skincare, beauty, uh, you know, athletics, all sorts of things, right?
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: But then you have fragrance come in in this very unique way, you know, that I've never seen before as a consumer.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, I won't lie, you know, I've always seen fragrance in a very beautiful, bedazzled way, you know what I mean, as a consumer before, like recently.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: And it's never been so beautifully tied into wellness as it is these days.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: And that's why I felt like, you know, I was watching this.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: I it this actually, this episode was triggered by me just scrolling through TikTok and going through social media because I was noticing more and more.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, you know, people are really understanding now that, you know, exactly what you said, Veronique, which is fragrance will make you feel a certain way.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: It will set the tone for your whole day and it will set the tone throughout your day if you, you know, keep refreshing it and and using it.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: So, with that in mind, I do want to talk about Aroma because I think that, you know, obviously you have the real data here and the real feedback.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: And by the way, for everyone listening, uh, Veronique uh, you know, and the whole Aroma collection got the Ferguson Foundation Award, you know, for their innovation here.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: So I'm really excited for you to dive in, Veronique, into Aroma and talk about this because we need to learn about it, you know, in the sense of like the well-being aspect.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: So absolutely.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: So when it we talk about well-being, my whole um brand, if you will, is about an escape, a connection to nature for well-being.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: And that's why, even in my perfume line, we use a high concentration of natural ingredients because only natural ingredients will connect you to nature and bring the sensation of luminosity, of sensuality, of well-being.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: What I have done with Aroma was going even further.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: Basically, the idea with Aroma was okay, we're gonna go further than just using a high concentration of natural ingredients.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: We're gonna use only natural ingredients, and we're gonna cross basically two fields that are usually not working together.
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: We're gonna cross the field of perfumery, high-end perfumery that gives you so much pleasure and escape and wonder, and we're gonna cross it with the field of aromatherapy, which is obviously well known for the benefits that natural ingredients will procure you until aroma.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: So basically, there's a before aroma and after aroma, but until aroma, you have the world of aromatherapy on one end, and you can go and find essential oils, and you can try to blend them and to do your own little thing, but it's a blend that's pretty rough, pretty raw, and uh you know, you're not necessarily knowing how to dose those ingredients or what carrier you put them on, so it's safe for you to use.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: But aromatherapy has existed for thousands of years, and then you have the world of perfumery where the perfumers are using both natural ingredients and synthetic ingredients, and the goal is to give you pleasure, pure pleasure, hedonistic pleasure, but never really thinking of truly looking after the benefits.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: Okay, so if it makes you feel good, great, but if not, well, we don't know really what to say.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: So the two worlds were never crossed.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: And during the pandemic, I felt that people were so anxious and so stressed that I needed to go beyond just giving, if you will, pleasure to people.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: I needed to give them true, tangible, proven well-being.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: And so um, you know, I'm trained in perfumery, but I'm also trained in aromatherapy.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: And for the longest time, I was like, I want to join those two worlds, you know.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: Um, I want to make sure that we could do perfumes that have the benefits of aromatherapy.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: But I thought in my head, I would do that later, you know.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: But when the pandemic arrived, I was like, uh-uh, this is now, this is what we need now, and that's why I developed this line, which basically is a line of perfume.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: You're gonna use them like perfume, it's delicious and pleasurable as perfume, but those perfumes have been composed with the principle of aromatherapy, with the ingredients of aromatherapy, and we can talk about what it means because it truly makes it very special, and because it is done in the principle and with the ingredients of aromatherapy, when you wear those perfumes, you're gonna feel those perfumes, but you're not gonna just feel them emotionally, you're gonna feel them physically within yourself, and that's where the experience is incredible.
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: And those perfumes will act on your level of energy, they will act on your chakras if you know what chakras are, they will basically uh give you a way to feel more um you know uh joyful or peaceful or in tune with your own body, and by doing this, it reduces your level of stress and increases the uh positive interaction of your brain, and we've been able to measure it, which is incredible.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that is so fascinating to me that you guys have actually measured it.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: And you know, just to like really hone in on what you said, I love that you mentioned aromatherapy and your training in it because for the longest time, like you said, for centuries, you know, I am Indian by by birth, and you know, my family has always discussed aromatherapy.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's tied into Indian culture, you know, as it is with me, yeah.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: So, you know, it's really tied in.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: And I feel like, you know, we never really understood what it does.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: But sometimes, you know, even now, if I walk into a place that has, like, for example, incense burning, right?
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: I automatically feel relaxed, I feel calm.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: And I think that's because of years and years of my brain being trained to know that this is a signal of stress relief, you know, and it's the signal of you can relax and everything's okay.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: And I think with aromatherapy, what really interests me is that there is this um, you know, there's a part of it that is so much about muscle memory for your brain.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: Like it's like when you keep exposing yourself to it, your brain will start to eventually over time understand that these are you know de-stressed signals.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: And I need to, you know, just relax.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: If I if I may, Ekta.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's both.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: So basically, the um, you know, an aromatherapy.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, in the Western world, we call it aromatherapy, the Native American had the knowledge of plant, the Indian have a Yoveda, uh, the Chinese have Chinese medicine, but basically all ties in to the benefit of plants, okay, and what plants give you.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: So we have different words for it, but at the end of the day, it's the same root, if you will.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: Plants and nature are and can give you well-being benefits.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: We know that.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: Now, to what you're saying is that those benefits exist and they're tangible and they're real.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: So, what happens is that the first time you're gonna experience the benefits coming from nature and from right composition, because obviously you can't do anything, uh, not everything is good, not everything is gonna work on you.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: So, you have to know how to use nature.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Nature is very powerful, and you need to know how to harness the power of nature.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: Uh, but once you're exposed to that benefit, the first time your brain's gonna feel the benefits, your body's gonna feel the benefits, you're gonna understand it as positive benefit.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: The second time, the third time, the fourth time, suddenly you have exactly what you're talking about.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: Your brain recognizes that this moment is the moment that has given you the benefit.
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: And so, even without connecting to the benefit, your brain is like, oh my god, I know this.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: This is gonna trigger something really good for me.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna feel good even before you have the time to experience the benefit.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: So there's this dual thing.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: First, you have to have something that truly makes you feel better.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: And once your brain recognizes it and your body recognizes it as something beneficial to you, then the minute you're gonna stop smelling, you're gonna have that immediate connection to the result that you will feel a little later, which is quite powerful.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: That's very powerful.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Yes, I love how you explain that too.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: And you're so on the spot with it because it is nature, you're right.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: It is because I mean, think about back in our you know, ancestral days, people were not, you know, using perfumery like we are now.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: They had nature and the sense of nature.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: You're so right, you know, and things like, for example, like a sea breeze or being seaside, you know, or being by an ocean, like these have always been things that individuals reference, you know, when they say, Oh, I feel relaxed, I feel good, you know, or something like you know, citrus or anything that it is for them, they have people have for centuries referenced these different things, but they've all stemmed, you know, in nature, like you said, very, very true.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: And I I really love that.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: And I think with aroma, what really for me as a consumer, right?
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: I I can only speak of myself.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: And I think for me, what really brings me back over and over again, and I use this for everyone listening, I use aroma every day in my routine, it's just part of my life.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: You're using heart, right?
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: Heart, yeah, heart is just absolutely part of my everyday therapeutic routine.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: And I really mean that in the sense of like in every way, because I can't go a day without it.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: It centers me immediately.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: It's like as if, like, you know, you had mentioned chakras, right?
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Veronique, I mean, it's like as if immediately my brain goes, okay, you're fine, relax.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: And that's that's the principle of aroma.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, uh, with aroma, basically, when I say we use the principle of aromatherapy and the ingredients of aromatherapy, basically we composed the core of each of those fragrances with a doctor in aromatherapy.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: And so basically, we started with you, you know, you're doing a lot of skincare, right, Ecta.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: So let's imagine that you know, when you have a beautiful skincare product, you have a beautiful formula and you're gonna feel the instant pleasure of the formula.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: But what works within that formula is what we call an active core, an active principle.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: Well, we develop the fragrances of Aruba in the exact same way skincare is developed.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: So you have an active principle in those fragrances that was composed together with the doctor.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: And those active principles is truly what works on the level of stress, the level of energy, the well-being aspects of your life and the chakras that we're going to connect with.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: And then around this, we wrapped it in an outside formula, if you will, that will not dilute that benefit.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: We still are in the world of aromatherapy, we still follow the principle and the ingredients, but we wrap it with the talent of a perfumer.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: So what you smell is not a blend of aromatherapy.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: What you smell is a real perfume that will give you a real pleasure.
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: But as you wear it, it will give you the benefits of pure aromatherapy.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: And that's where basically, when we compose the products, we had to use only natural ingredients.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: Otherwise, you can't call yourself aromatherapy.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: We can't use pathetics in those formulas.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: Otherwise, it doesn't work.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: It doesn't work on your chakra, it doesn't work on your level of energy.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: And um it was quite a departure for the perfumers to do that.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: Because not only did they have to use only natural ingredients, which reduces, if you will, the bench, but they have also to use the principle of aromatherapy, which reduces even more the bench of the ingredients they can use.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: And that's why at the end, you have a product that is absolutely lovely to smell, but extremely powerful in terms of the benefits they procure.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it's it's insane to me how beneficial it really is.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, I had never experienced this until I tried Aroma.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: I keep you not like from a perfume, from a fragrance, you know, I never had this.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: I know that growing up for me, you know, I'm a millennial, so I grew up with this idea of, you know, you wear a fragrance that becomes your everyday fragrance and you use it to either smell sexy or, you know, wonderful or just whatever it is, right?
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: The occasion that you're going for.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: Most of the time, fragrance was always tied to that for me, you know, as a consumer.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: But here we are now, and we're looking at it from a different lens.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: Now I'm thinking of how is this fragrance going to tie into my well-being routine?
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: How is this going to tie into what I feel as soon as I put it on?
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: You know, and a lot of times we, you know, as consumers, I think we we miss that point.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: You know, we we have this like urge to like want to wear the sexy perfume or whatever.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: And that's fine, you know, wear whatever you like.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: But to really hone in on the benefits of this, I mean, I think it's something that we all really need to think about.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, whatever you're using, for this for all the listeners out there, whatever you're using in your daily routine, you know, why are you using it, right?
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: It makes you question that because at the end of the day, fragrance is very psychoactive, regardless.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: It's a psychoactive part of your routine.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: Whether you've been using something that is for, you know, like was made many, many years ago and you still use the same perfume, regardless, it's tied to you somehow, psychop psychologically.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: So you have to, you know, you have to ask yourself these questions.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: Like, what, you know, what is it really doing for me as a person?
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: And then when you do that, you're able to understand and you're able to optimize your routine.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: You know, you're optimizing the products you're using.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: And for me, Aroma, I think you mentioned it beautifully, Veronique, which is it's yes, it's there therapeutically, but it's a scent I truly love to wear.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: It's I love it.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: It's my daily scent.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: And I love that because people know me by it, you know.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: When I'm I walk in a room, they know this is what I smell like, and I'm okay with that.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: So I think what you've done is so unique, you know, it's like you really have just nailed it.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Ecta.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: And you know, with aroma, you you're talking about the you know being part of your daily ritual and your daily well-being ritual and and routine.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: And I think this is how I wanted it to be used.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: And so basically, you find the one aroma out of the three, we have three, as you know, all of the three aroma, you know, basically fight the stress, all of them in a different way, and all of them are gonna bring you an element of energy and an element of well-being in a different way.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: So, heart is gonna give you joy.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: I always say heart is joy in a bottle, uh, body is love in a bottle, you're gonna feel the self-love and the appreciation of yourself, and soul is really giving you peace of mind, so it's peace in a bottle.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: But those three fragrances, heart, body, and soul, are things that you can use for yourself.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: This is not for the outside world, it really is about you.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: But then, if you want to layer it after using it at least a half hour, so you know the fragrance has the time to work on your energy level, when you're you're you have spent like maybe 15 to 30 minutes using it on its own, then you can layer on top of it any fragrance you like.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: That's fine, because the benefits of aroma all day long are going to work on you, and then you can go out to the world with the fragrance that is your self-expression, if you will.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: I think aroma for me is self-care.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: I've really built it so that you could give yourself a moment of self-care, and then traditional perfumery is more about self-expression to the world, and this idea of self-care and personal well-being, as I said, we measured it with a group of neuroscientists, so we know it truly works on you.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: We have proven data on this, um, but that moment of self-care, I pushed it by linking each of our aroma fragrances to a guided meditation.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: So on the box, we have inside the box, you have a little QR code that leads to a um guided meditation, and so you can do that as a ritual.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: So you can just smell it and you know, close your eyes, smell it deeply a few times, and boom, the effect comes in.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: But if you want to give yourself a teeny bit more of that moment of peace and love and joy, you do the guided meditation, which is about eight to ten minutes.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: I it's you know, you can do it as many times as you want, at least, you know, you do it once a week, and it's an amazing, amazing thing.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: I I love that.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: And I love that you thought about that, you know, that you really kept that in mind because I think that's something people really like they struggle with, you know, is this idea of meditation.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I have been meditating my pretty much my entire adult life.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: And I can tell you, you know, once you get into the habit and you do your you know, everyday sit, you it's like you start to just feel yourself differently.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: And a fragrance, if it can tie into that routine, it is going to make it so much more smooth for you.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Like I can tell you my experience when I sit for my meditation, I do use um, you know, aroma.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: I use all all three of them, all three of the fragrances actually come into play here.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: It just depends on my mood that day.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: But one thing I've noticed that's helped me a lot specifically is that if I'm about to meditate, right?
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter what I'm doing, whether it's guided meditation or just self-meditation.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: I would spray it.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: And when I'm breathing, the process of the breath and being able to feel your breath and where it's going.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: You know, they all all the gurus and all of the yogis that, you know, go through guided meditation, they tell you this.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: You have to follow your breath through your meditation.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: It actually helps me with that because you follow the fragrance.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: It's it's amazing.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: Like you're able to follow the trail of the fragrance as you're inhaling and you're able to feel yourself going through this meditative process.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: And I think it's almost a tool, you know, if you ask me for meditation.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Like it becomes part of the daily meditation ritual if you really allow it to.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: So, you know, it's got, I mean, it's got so many different ways that you can utilize this fragrance.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm just always so amazed by it, you know, in the sense that you can really use it if you want to.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: And and again, if you use it like a traditional perfume, you will feel the benefits during the day.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: You don't know where those benefits are coming from, but you will feel it.
- 26:51unknown: Yeah.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: It's more associated to your breathing process.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: Uh, almost, I mean, you can do meditation or not, but if you breathe in the fragrance deeply a few times, the I what you were expressing that you can see or feel where the fragrance uh trails actually is real because those fragrances are gonna work on your chakras.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: So heart is gonna work on opening up all of the pipes, if you will, of your breathing.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna feel it first around the nose and throat area, then in the throat, the heart, and the solar plexus.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: That's where you're gonna feel heart.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: That's what it opens up.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: With soul, it's gonna anchor you in the ground and allow you to connect spiritually.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: So, usually you're gonna feel soul in the extremities of your of your body, in the legs, the feet, and in your head, sometimes even in your hands, because that is the anchoring agent of soul.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: Body is like a shower of warms all over your body, or if you have an ailment in your body, it's gonna focus on that area and warm up the area as if you were having a massage.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: So it's really incredible, but that's how it works.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: And so the fact that you feel it when you meditate, yeah, because that's what it does.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: And this is where the experience is incredible.
- 28:22SPEAKER_01: And I say you can smell it deeply because it is engineered to be going into your body.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: So we talked a lot about the naturals.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: The aroma lime is completely natural, but we made sure that it would be 100% clean as well.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: It's 100% biodegradable, so it's it's gentle to the environment, it's 100% clean, so you can smell it deeply, contrarily to other fragrances.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: I would not recommend you do that.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: With aroma, you can, because it's completely natural, following the principle of aromatherapy, and completely clean.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: And then on top of that, because it's about your well-being, I didn't want it to be at the expense of other communities or the planet.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: So not only is it clean, not only is it biodegradable, not only is it um completely safe, but it's also sustainable from a packaging and a product point of view.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: It's like you thought of literally everything, Ronic.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: And you know, that really ties into the energy of it.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: I mean, you really, I mean, if you think about it, if everything you do, these all of these steps that you've taken to create this, you know, line, this is all energetically linked.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: And you know, I'm a huge believer in that.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: I think that if you if you're a spiritual person, if you're somebody who is a thoughtful individual, you can clearly see how things like sustainability, being clean, being from nature, all of these things will add to the effect at the end of the day.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, you can't claim that you're a brand that's doing that if you don't check these boxes off.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, like anything with meditation or anything with energy, you have to actually put in that work.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: You can't just make that up.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: It can't be fake, it has to be real.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: And so, you know, you feel it.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: And that's why I'm such an advocate for your line, because I really think that people, you know, as soon as you start incorporating any any of the fragrances, I suggest all three.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: But as soon as you start, you're going to immediately notice that something has shifted.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: Something has changed.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: I feel better.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: I am able to now.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: And the best part is you can take it with you everywhere.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: That's something I really wanted to talk to you about was this idea of, you know, taking the well-being aspect of aromatherapy and good perfumery and being able to use it everywhere, you know, and that's something we don't see a lot because unfortunately, with aromatherapy, what do you usually have?
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: You have oils that you have to diffuse in your home.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: You can't really take it with you to work.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: You know, you have to be in a spa or some kind of location, but you don't have to do that with aroma.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: You can take aroma everywhere and you have travel sizes.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: And that's, I mean, for me as a consumer, that's huge because everyone needs these kind of things throughout the day, but we can't always go home, right?
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: And like diffuse our oil or whatever it might be.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: You have to have tools with you at all times.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: So I love that.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: No, definitely.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: And and to me, that was that was the principle is the idea that this is a fragrance that is going to make you feel better.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: So, yes, we have an eau de parfum form, and you have the big bottle that you can keep at home, and we have the small bottle that you can throw in your bag.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: And then, you know, when I was speaking about the fact that the eau de parfum is built around an active principle, we have that active principle in the form of a roll-on, if this is what you prefer.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: And so you can play and use aroma the way you want.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: And then, of course, we have candles that you can burn at home to make your home a sanctuary.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: But truly, truly, what you feel with aroma, the immediate release of stress is pretty amazing.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: And I have people even go to tears as we did scent immersion.
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: You know, we did a lot of session with people, and I took them through a very intense scent immersion.
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: And you have a real release of stress, and sometimes when you release the stress, you cry.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: I had people crying when they were smelling aroma, and and emotionally, it's an incredible journey.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: To me, honestly, I spray aroma, I know.
- 32:34SPEAKER_01: You know, even physically, you have a release of your shoulder, your neck, your you know, it's it truly, truly relaxes you, and it's quite unbelievable.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: It's fully holistic, 100%.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: I've had that experience of like the crying because but you're so stressed sometimes, you don't know you're that stressed.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: And when you have something that is able to release that, it's almost like you can't control it.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: It's just bottled stress, and you're finally like, oh my gosh, okay, I can relax, I can unwind, I can think for a minute, you know?
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: And I mean, to create a product like that, Veronique, is just, I mean, gosh, I can't even, I can't sing your praises enough because you really don't magic, you know?
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: Well, you're a doctor, so I'm really happy you think this way.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: No, and I and I fully condone it from that standpoint.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: I really do.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: I use it myself, you know, and if I did it, uh I wouldn't be able to sit here and talk about it the way I am because it's interesting because uh I'm talking to um actually, you know, we are uh distributing aroma, obviously, in traditional perfume distribution, but also in spas because I think it makes sense.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: But I'm also talking actually to hospitals right now, not to sell it, but to give that to them, you know, in women's centers or places where you do your mammogram or things like that, because I think you're stressed when you go into those places, you know, you're you're not completely comfortable, and having the possibility of smelling aroma and uh releasing a little bit of the anxiety is a is a good thing, and you know, it's interesting because again, we have three aroma because not every stress is equal, and we do not experience stress in the same way, and depending on the triggers, we're gonna be stressed in different ways as well, and so we work with the doctor to hone on the three major sources of stress, and basically each of the aroma fight one source of stress, if you will, and so one will fight, if you will, the anxiety that comes from negative thoughts, the feeling of not being um not being adequate, the feeling of not being a part of the group, and that's a very, very intense source of stress.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: So, heart is the one that's going to fight that source of stress by giving you joy, by giving you confidence, by allowing you to communicate better with others.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: So that's one.
- 35:09SPEAKER_01: Um, another source of stress is when you feel completely disconnected.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: Um, you don't feel anchored, you feel like you're floating and you're not comfortable and you're not belonging.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: So, soul is giving you this anchoring effect and the ability to connect with the universe so that you feel extremely well connected to the rest of the universe.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: And that's what soul does.
- 35:34SPEAKER_01: And then the last source of stress, and to me, I felt it very strongly during the pandemic, and I think it relates more to women.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: Um, all of those aroma works with men and women, obviously, but this one, particularly for women, during the pandemic, women were doing so much.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: They always do a lot, but during the pandemic, they were doing everything.
- 35:56SPEAKER_01: They were working, they were taking care of home, they were taking care of family, they transformed themselves in teachers, they were doing everything.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: And so the number of women at the time that told me that they felt like they were becoming machines, that they could not connect to their uh, you know, to their physical self, and I, you know, that's an enormous source of stress.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: So basically, body is basically helping you recenter, reconnect with your own self, and giving you again the sensation of sensuality and physicality uh in a world that has become so tense, so chaotic, and so virtual.
- 36:37SPEAKER_01: So each of the three aroma um basically fight stress in a different way.
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: Uh, and basically we develop with the doctor a diagnostic uh so that if you don't know really which aroma is for you, uh you can take the diagnostic, it's very easy, it's six questions, and it will guide you into the choice.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: That being said, if you have a chance to smell them, if you're not just online, if you can smell them, instinctively you will go to the one you need, which is super powerful.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: And it has nothing to do with your olfactive preference.
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: Like sometimes people say, Oh, I love woods, and they go to heart, which is full of citrus, because that's what their body needs.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: So it's quite interesting.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: That is so cool.
- 37:23SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's it's literally like it's magic, I'm telling you.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: It's literally magic.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I really it's science and magic together.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: It is, it's like the best of science and the best of like the little bit of unknown, you know, that we don't really fully know yet.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: And I think that's what's so magical about it is that it really hit the nail on the head.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's the best part I feel like with anything that is so grounded in real the truth, right?
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: Because even in science, we say, you know, we know 80% of the facts.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: We don't know the other 20%.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: But guess what?
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: We're on the right path if we can, if it feels like it's the right thing.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: And aroma just feels right.
- 38:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, I even tell my, like, you know, for all the healthcare workers out there and any aestheticians or anyone out there who works with people, I really cannot tell you how beneficial this could be for you, not only for you personally, but even as you're interacting with other people.
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: Because you're going to bring this into their life.
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, I found that.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: I mean, honestly, Veronique, I was meaning to tell you this because I had this experience myself.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: I work with patients every day.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: You know, I see patients, I work with them, I'm in close proximity to them.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: I've had patients repeatedly say, Doctor, what is that on you?
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: What am I smelling?
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, and I, you know, I tell them exactly what it is.
- 38:41SPEAKER_00: It's hard.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: It's always hard because it's my favorite one for the day, you know?
- 38:45SPEAKER_00: And they are always like, This is amazing.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: It smells so good.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: And you see it even on their face that they are appreciating what they're smelling.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: And so if you're somebody like an aesthetician, right, and you're working with clients every day and they come in for a skin treatment, they're coming in for a relaxing treatment, you can even spray this on yourself and they'll smell it on you.
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: And immediately I guarantee you, someone's gonna ask you, what are you wearing?
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: Um on the air or on the towels, not the towels that you're gonna use on the face, but the towels that are around.
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: Um, I have a lot of makeup artists that are using aroma because usually their clients come super flustered and super agitated.
- 39:27SPEAKER_01: And and to do good makeup, the face needs to be relaxed.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: And so they spray a little bit aroma, and then suddenly, relaxation, and then the makeup becomes absolutely beautiful.
- 39:38SPEAKER_01: And so, with this aesthetics, you know, any kind of uh um skincare or uh treatment that you're doing, it's amazing, amazing.
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: And when we work with spas, actually, what we do is that you know, the the line is obviously in their retail shop, but beyond that, we enter the treatment rooms and some of the spas use aroma before the treatment.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: So you can smell the aroma of your choice, and then they start the treatment because it truly, truly helps.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I think you would guide them also, right, Broni?
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: Like absolutely, absolutely.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: If you smell heart or you smell soul, you can kind of use it as a guiding point, you know, as a professional, like this is what they need.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, how many people do we know that have like certain flare-ups of acne, you know, I mean, related to different stress sources?
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, we still don't understand that fully, if we're honest.
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, some people will come with different types of skin conditions, but sometimes you have to get to the root of what's stressing you out, you know, what is it that's causing this?
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: And so this could become a guiding tool for a lot of those professionals, you know.
- 40:43SPEAKER_01: Probably, probably.
- 40:44SPEAKER_01: And it's interesting because in the diagnostic, there is a couple of questions about where you feel the stress.
- 40:51SPEAKER_01: And according to where you feel the stress, basically there's one aroma that's going to release something.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: So um, so it's it's it's pretty um, it's it's it's quite uh, I mean, my feeling is that we are really pushing the boundaries of perfumery with aroma.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, I have more in my head that I want to do uh in that direction.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: So we will work on more.
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: Uh, but you know, right now we're working on stress uh triggers because I think this is the disease of the century.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: Um, but um, there's more that I want to explore.
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: And obviously, scent will not treat cancer or big diseases like this, that's obvious.
- 41:30SPEAKER_01: But it will allow you to fight better the sources of ailment because your mind will be more receptive to positive thoughts.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: Yes, 100%, Veronique.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: And you know what's interesting, what you just said.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: I had a recent interview with an immunologist, and we were talking about exactly that topic.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: And I want to briefly mention it here because it's so relevant that she was talking about how there is a brain-body connection to every organ in your body.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: And that's absolutely true.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: You know, I can't tell you how many times I have either seen, you know, mentors of mine or colleagues of mine or even my own patients that they change their mindset and a lot changes in their disease progression.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: That's a thing that's very common in medicine.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: And so if you are in that position where you're able to view people go through this, I mean, you become a believer, right?
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean, for lack of a better term, you do because it's it's true.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: It's there's a validity here in the sense that your brain and your mind will change everything in your body.
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: It will change the way your liver functions, the way your skin functions, the way everything works.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: And you have to focus on that, you know?
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: And so I'm I'm just a huge believer in it.
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: I think that, you know, the more we can get out there to common, you know, consumers and just everyday people, the better and healthier we're gonna live.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's it's a fact, you know.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: I just yeah.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: For sure.
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's a lot of there's a lot of triggers of health, obviously.
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: You know, uh the way you eat, the way the what you leave, what you there's so many.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: And obviously, when you have a disease, you have a disease and you have to treat it.
- 43:08SPEAKER_01: And you know, we're not in la la land here, but yeah, but scent truly helps with um alleviating some triggers of stress.
- 43:20SPEAKER_01: And if you do it properly, and not any scent, because I I do perfume and I love to do this.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: I would never say that perfumery, the way that it's done traditionally, is what we're discussing here.
- 43:35SPEAKER_01: It is not uh traditional perfumery, if you put the care and the energy into it and the right ingredients, like I do in my line of perfumery, that will trigger an escape, that will trigger some sensation of well being.
- 43:49SPEAKER_01: But I cannot say it makes you feel better.
- 43:52SPEAKER_01: It makes you feel good, but it doesn't make you feel better.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: What I have done with Aroma makes you feel better.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: And that I can say loud and clear.
- 44:03SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: And it's like a overall, like long, it's a long-term effect, too.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: That's another thing.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: It's like it's an additive effect.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: You know, it's not just okay, I used it and now I forgot about it.
- 44:14SPEAKER_00: No, it's like what we were talking about earlier in the episode.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: It's like when you continue to use aroma, you will continue to feel the benefits, but eventually you're gonna get to a point where you're like, this is really important in my routine.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, I need this, you know what I mean?
- 44:29SPEAKER_00: Just for that moment of self-care.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: I love to use it like at the first thing in the morning, you know, when I'm doing my everyday morning routine.
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: If it's makeup, skin, it doesn't matter, you know, whatever that is.
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: I will spray it on.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: It's like Veronique said, takes 30 minutes.
- 44:42SPEAKER_00: You really feel the full effects and you go out into your day and you feel great, you guys.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: Like I'm not even exaggerating when I say that.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: I literally was like, you know, when I ran out of my last bottle, I was like, no, you know, it's like, it's like so detrimental in my in my routine if I don't have it.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: Because I really, for me, everybody who suffered with anxiety, I've been very open about that, you know, on the podcast.
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: I've had adult anxiety pretty much forever.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I've had bouts of depression here and there.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: I think we all go through this.
- 45:11SPEAKER_00: And for me to find a tool is huge.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: So when I find it, I stick to it and I clutch to it because it's very rare to find that.
- 45:19SPEAKER_00: And with all the medicine out here that people are prescribing, doctors prescribe, I'm a huge advocate for take your health and your wellness into your own hands.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: Find the things that work for you.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: And if you can find them and their daily remedies, you know, even if it's for however long it might be, use those, you know, and be open-minded to exploring more.
- 45:39SPEAKER_00: So I really urge everyone, all of our listeners, you guys have to check out Aroma.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's the fragrance line of the year for us because we, I mean, I'm I'm just an advocate for it, period.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: At the end of the day, I will continue to be.
- 45:52SPEAKER_00: So, Bernie, I'm very excited.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: I'm very excited to see your new upcoming releases or whatever is in the work for you guys because I know it's going to be amazing.
- 46:00SPEAKER_01: Thank you, sweetie.
- 46:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I really, I mean, I appreciate it, Xavier.
- 46:03SPEAKER_01: And and you are a physician and you understand, uh, you understand what people go through, you understand the science behind it.
- 46:12SPEAKER_01: And and um I have to say, you know, I'm very proud of this line because we went very far, and you said something very, very, very real that that goes beyond science and into the field of spirituality, that it's about the energy you put into something, it's about the the real care that you put into something.
- 46:34SPEAKER_01: When we developed Aroma, we truly, truly, truly went about it because we cared about people.
- 46:42SPEAKER_01: And the minute you care about people, you have to care about everything.
- 46:48SPEAKER_01: And so we cared about the planet, we cared about the uh not diluting or you know, or depleting the resources of the planet, so all of the ingredients are sourced thickly and sustainably, everything is clean, everything is sustainable, everything is reusable.
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, we went really far from a uh clean aspects of the development, from a biodegradable, from the safety, from the sustainability.
- 47:17SPEAKER_01: And at the end of the day, at the end of the day, this fragrance makes you feel good because it is good for you and it is good for the world.
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: And uh and I think it's important, you know.
- 47:32SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 47:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, you guys really have done it right, you know, Monique.
- 47:35SPEAKER_00: I I am fully, fully an advocate for how you've gone about creating this line.
- 47:40SPEAKER_00: And I I cannot stress to you enough that you know, as a consumer, as somebody who has always been on the outside of the fragrance world, never understanding it.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: This line has it makes me feel like there's a touch of just this personalization, you know what I mean?
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: It's so personal, it's so close to my heart.
- 47:58SPEAKER_00: I love everything about it, and I literally I can't stop raving about it.
- 48:02SPEAKER_00: Every time someone asks me what I'm wearing, I'm like, oh, you have to check this out.
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: And sometimes I'm pulling up on my phone, you know?
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: And I I love it.
- 48:09SPEAKER_01: I love it that you love it.
- 48:11SPEAKER_01: But um, what I would say though is that because we're using only natural ingredients, this line, again, it's really about your self-care more so than your self-expression.
- 48:22SPEAKER_01: This line has is is basically following the principle of aromatherapy.
- 48:27SPEAKER_01: So basically, it will never be as powerful as a fragrance containing synthetic ingredients.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: So you can't compare apple and oranges, right?
- 48:37SPEAKER_01: If you love perfume, this line you will see gives you the purity, gives you the cleanliness, gives you the well-being benefits, gives you the level of energy, gives you immediate release of stress.
- 48:51SPEAKER_01: It will not give you what perfumes that contain a lot of synthetic dough, which is an enormous sillage.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: This is not about you in the world of others.
- 49:02SPEAKER_01: This is about you, yourself, your inner journey, your inner levels of emotion and energies.
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: So the fragrances I always say with Aroma, it's about self-care.
- 49:15SPEAKER_01: It's a moment for you.
- 49:16SPEAKER_01: If you want to go out in the world and show who you are, then you apply as a layer your own fragrance.
- 49:23SPEAKER_01: Would it be from my line of perfumery or any other perfume line that you love?
- 49:27SPEAKER_01: Aroma is really about self-care.
- 49:30SPEAKER_01: And that's really the innovation of it.
- 49:32SPEAKER_01: And that's why we got best innovation of the year.
- 49:35SPEAKER_01: It's because it truly, truly, truly triggers positive interaction of the brain, truly triggers a level of well-being that you would not have before wearing it.
- 49:46SPEAKER_01: So that's the innovation, you know?
- 49:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it's it's apparent.
- 49:51SPEAKER_00: And also, like I think in our previous episodes, for anyone listening, like, you know, Veronique had done a really great deep dive into like the synthetic versus natural, you know, in perfumery.
- 50:01SPEAKER_00: And we had that in one of our episodes.
- 50:03SPEAKER_00: So if you guys are interested in learning more about that in general, you can always reference one of the older episodes because that she's really been such a you know guiding light for us here, you know, for Fragrance Fridays.
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: We have had so many great conversations, and you know, aroma, I honestly, Veronique, I see it as like focusing on your inner beauty.
- 50:21SPEAKER_00: That's how I see it.
- 50:22SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, that's what it is.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: It's a ritual for your inner beauty, for your inner self, and it is something about you, it's personal, it's it's not about anybody else, you know.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: So I I agree.
- 50:34SPEAKER_00: I think that this is something that you have to at least experience, you guys.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: You know, experience it, test it for yourself.
- 50:40SPEAKER_00: Don't take our word for it.
- 50:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, you'll see exactly what we're talking about once you experience.
- 50:44SPEAKER_00: I promise you.
- 50:45SPEAKER_01: And you know, we have discovery sets.
- 50:47SPEAKER_01: So if you want to try the three of them, you don't have to buy three bottles.
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: You have you have discovery sets of the line, so you can try the three, or you do the diagnostic and you see which one should be tried first, you know.
- 51:00SPEAKER_01: So, like that, you can fine-tune a little bit the collection, even if you don't smell them right away.
- 51:05SPEAKER_01: The one thing I would say also, and you know, talking about energy, you know, the whole brand, my brand, was created in the idea of uh, you know, merging, if you will, uh, nature and luxury, okay, sensuality and luminosity, uh luxury and generosity.
- 51:28SPEAKER_01: And basically, you know, the line is all about bringing sunshine for the senses and the soul.
- 51:33SPEAKER_01: And I think that with my perfume line, you have this escape to the Mediterranean that gives you this sensation of joy and fulfillment of the senses.
- 51:45SPEAKER_01: And with Aroma, really, we're working on your soul, we're working on you feeling much better in your own skin.
- 51:52SPEAKER_01: And so, sunshine for the senses and the soul is really what the brand is about.
- 51:57SPEAKER_01: And with Aroma, we're really touching very deep into um, you know, into your own self.
- 52:04SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 52:05SPEAKER_00: That is such a beautiful way to think about it.
- 52:07SPEAKER_00: Like it truly does bring sunshine.
- 52:09SPEAKER_00: It does, it brings a ray of light into every day.
- 52:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, it does for me.
- 52:13SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 52:14SPEAKER_00: And I I really encourage you guys, yeah, definitely check out the discovery sets because, you know, I mean, I personally I think that all three are just beautiful and they're so unique in themselves that I think that you just need all three in your collection.
- 52:25SPEAKER_00: Um, but I mean, definitely try them out, you know, and pick the one that you love the most and try that first.
- 52:30SPEAKER_00: But I encourage you, you know, if you're somebody who experiences stress, you experience everyday, you know, like ins and out, where you're just like trying to find that next wellness product.
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: I really urge you to take a leap of faith here because I think sometimes we misconstrue wellness for being just like, for example, like, you know, ingestible stuff, you know, you athletics and stuff, you you look into vitamins and all these things.
- 52:54SPEAKER_00: But sometimes wellness is just about a mindset and to bring you into the right mindset.
- 52:59SPEAKER_00: And I think that's where aroma shines for me is it brings me into the right frame of mind so that I can really rethink where I'm at in the day, you know, whatever time that might be.
- 53:09SPEAKER_00: So I'm a huge advocate for it, Veroni.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: You are such a star, as always.
- 53:14SPEAKER_00: I love chatting with you every time we do this.
- 53:17SPEAKER_00: Me too.
- 53:17SPEAKER_00: Me too, me too, me too.
- 53:19SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 53:19SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much, Eikta.
- 53:21SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
