- 0:01Speaker 1: He is more. Mark Okay, so Mark Simone show on
- 0:05Speaker 1: seven tenor Hey it's Friday, it's the first day of May.
- 0:11Speaker 1: We got a lot to get to this hour. We'll
- 0:14Speaker 1: really I'll tell you some stories about James Comey coming
- 0:17Speaker 1: up a little later this hour. Now, you know, the
- 0:21Speaker 1: Supreme Court ruled against some redistricting in certain states. They'd
- 0:26Speaker 1: draw the lines, the congressional district lines to make sure
- 0:30Speaker 1: a Democrat can win the seat. One of the ways
- 0:31Speaker 1: they did that in some districts was to draw the
- 0:35Speaker 1: line so there were no white people in the district.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Now that's discrimination, racial discrimination. Supreme Court ruled on this,
- 0:43Speaker 1: and they ruled that you can't do that. You can never.
- 0:47Speaker 1: First of all, a congressional district should look like a
- 0:50Speaker 1: square or maybe a circle, but should just be a
- 0:53Speaker 1: geographical area. It shouldn't look like a snake winding around
- 0:58Speaker 1: twenty seven different ways. Obviously just scheming to get no
- 1:04Speaker 1: Republicans in the district make sure a Democrat wins. So
- 1:06Speaker 1: Supreme Court ruled you cannot do it based on race.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Of course, the first guy to go nuts because it
- 1:11Speaker 1: screws up this partisan jerrymandering. The Democrats think that's the
- 1:17Speaker 1: only way they can win in November. But Jeffreys, Hakim
- 1:21Speaker 1: Jeffries going nuts.
- 1:22Speaker 2: In the new Congress, We're going to have to do
- 1:24Speaker 2: something about this Supreme Court. And let me be very clear,
- 1:27Speaker 2: everything is on the table, everything to deal with this
- 1:31Speaker 2: corrupt Maga majority that is issuing political opinions that are
- 1:38Speaker 2: designed to bolster the prospects of the Republican Party, and
- 1:41Speaker 2: we will.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Not allow them to succeed. Yeah, corrupt, the corrupt Supreme Court,
- 1:48Speaker 1: the Maga Supreme Court. They sure disagree with President Trump
- 1:51Speaker 1: on a lot of things, but what he's talking about,
- 1:54Speaker 1: and this is the problem. If Democrats were to win,
- 1:56Speaker 1: they're going to do all kinds of stuff. They're going
- 1:59Speaker 1: to expand the court. You know, it's the expanded to
- 2:03Speaker 1: twelve justices, maybe twenty five. They'll make it twenty five justices.
- 2:06Speaker 1: That way, they next democratic president can put a lot
- 2:11Speaker 1: of Democrats on the court, a lot of real left
- 2:13Speaker 1: wing koop judges. And you know what happens when you
- 2:15Speaker 1: get that they're planning that they're planning. They got all
- 2:18Speaker 1: kinds of plots. They want to make Washington, d c.
- 2:21Speaker 1: A state because it's all democratic. That way, you get
- 2:24Speaker 1: two more Democrats elected. They want to make Puerto Rico estate.
- 2:28Speaker 1: They get more Democrats that way, so all the more
- 2:31Speaker 1: reason you got to make sure they do not win
- 2:34Speaker 1: in November in the mid terms. Now, other states can
- 2:37Speaker 1: do the same thing, but sometimes it's more legitimate. In Florida,
- 2:42Speaker 1: legislature just approved a new congressional map which could add
- 2:47Speaker 1: four Republican seats. This vote came right after the Supreme
- 2:51Speaker 1: Court decision, so four extra Republican seats could change the
- 2:56Speaker 1: whole midterms. Now, if you look at the way they did,
- 3:00Speaker 1: the justification is it's pretty legitimately drawn. It's not like
- 3:04Speaker 1: democratic redistricting where they draw this weird snake line all around.
- 3:09Speaker 1: This is looks pretty straightforward this district. So you know,
- 3:15Speaker 1: New York City is a sanctuary city, but crazy Kathy
- 3:20Speaker 1: Hochel wants the whole state to be a sanctuary state.
- 3:25Speaker 1: She's proposing and trying to pass with Albany all kinds
- 3:28Speaker 1: of sanctuary policies to ban ICE from everything, sweeping bans
- 3:34Speaker 1: on any cooperation between law enforcement and ICE. That crazy
- 3:41Speaker 1: Assembly Speaker Carl Hasty is on board with most of this,
- 3:44Speaker 1: so she could very likely get this done. She has
- 3:48Speaker 1: a plan to ramp up all the anti ICE stuff
- 3:51Speaker 1: like crazy. Now, you know Bruce Blakeman, who's the greatest
- 3:55Speaker 1: county executive, which is like being a governor, greatest governor
- 3:57Speaker 1: in America. In Nassau County, they've solved their illegal problem
- 4:02Speaker 1: because they cooperate with ICE. The local police help ICE.
- 4:05Speaker 1: In fact, they let ICE use officers, use jail cells,
- 4:08Speaker 1: whatever they need. So in this crazy new local legislation,
- 4:13Speaker 1: she would ban any local government from cooperating in any way.
- 4:18Speaker 1: They can't deputize ICE officers, they can't keep detainees in
- 4:22Speaker 1: local jails, they can't in any way have anything to
- 4:26Speaker 1: do with ICE. Now, of course this is absolutely insane.
- 4:31Speaker 1: In fact, she's working on part of this legislation will
- 4:33Speaker 1: be a new legal tool that will give New Yorkers
- 4:36Speaker 1: the ability to soothe these ICE agents in state court
- 4:39Speaker 1: for a violation of their constitutional rights. Now, the problem
- 4:42Speaker 1: with all this, when you have all these illegals, it
- 4:45Speaker 1: costs us billions, hundreds of billions that we spend on illegals. Now,
- 4:50Speaker 1: at the same time, Hoko will tell you where we're broke.
- 4:52Speaker 1: We're out of money, we got a deficit, we need
- 4:54Speaker 1: to we don't have enough revenue. We're short of money.
- 4:57Speaker 1: If that's the case, why you're spending two hundred billion
- 4:59Speaker 1: on you illa legals. It's absolutely ridiculous even that. Remember
- 5:03Speaker 1: the Hotel Roosevelt where they stuck everybody. They put a
- 5:07Speaker 1: lot of illegals in the Hotel Roosevelt for a year.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You know what the bill was for that, one hundred
- 5:10Speaker 1: and forty six million. One hundred and forty six million.
- 5:13Speaker 1: They're just wasting this money like crazy everywhere. If there's
- 5:17Speaker 1: a budget deficit, it's caused by illegals. I mean, it's
- 5:20Speaker 1: also caused by overspending and bloat and fraud and waste,
- 5:23Speaker 1: but it's also caused by these illegals. You could save
- 5:26Speaker 1: yourself billions and bill tens of billions of dollars just
- 5:29Speaker 1: let Ice do their job. Problem solved. So the other
- 5:33Speaker 1: thing that with Hochel is she's getting pushed now like
- 5:35Speaker 1: crazy to pardon the cop Eric Duran. This was the
- 5:41Speaker 1: cooler cop that the guy was fleeing on a motorcycle
- 5:44Speaker 1: about to run down some other cops on his motorcycle.
- 5:47Speaker 1: How do you stop the guy with a cop just
- 5:48Speaker 1: thinking quick picked up a cooler threw it at him,
- 5:51Speaker 1: which normally would just knock him off his bike. But
- 5:53Speaker 1: it was just a fluke. Crazy uh. He fell off
- 5:57Speaker 1: and it went into a tree and somehow he died
- 5:59Speaker 1: in this accident. It's the last thing. The officer intendant
- 6:02Speaker 1: but his name is Eric drand gets in the bronx
- 6:05Speaker 1: in front of a crazy left wing judge. You got
- 6:07Speaker 1: a left wing district attorney. They convict the guy. They
- 6:11Speaker 1: sentenced him to nine years. Now the appeal is underway.
- 6:15Speaker 1: The great criminal attorney Arthur Idalla handling the appeal. But
- 6:19Speaker 1: you never know how that's going to go. So a
- 6:20Speaker 1: lot of people are pushing for a pardon. The governor
- 6:24Speaker 1: can do it. It's a local charge, so the president
- 6:26Speaker 1: can't do it. But Holkal could pardon this guy. And
- 6:31Speaker 1: about thirty five state lawmakers just signed a petition for
- 6:36Speaker 1: this pardon. They want it done. There's gonna be a
- 6:38Speaker 1: lot of pressure on her now. The Hokal's officers said
- 6:43Speaker 1: he actually needs to apply for a pardon if he
- 6:46Speaker 1: wants his case considered. He hasn't done that yet. Now
- 6:49Speaker 1: what it'll probably come down to Bruce Blakeman, who would
- 6:52Speaker 1: be the best governor, is rising in the polls. He
- 6:55Speaker 1: started at twenty points behind, and then it was fifteen
- 6:59Speaker 1: points behind, now like eight points behind. As he gets close,
- 7:04Speaker 1: Hokel will try to remove some of his campaign issues.
- 7:07Speaker 1: One of his issues is he has promised to pardon
- 7:10Speaker 1: this cop on day one, minute one, He's promised to
- 7:14Speaker 1: pardon this cop. So if Blakeman keeps rising like he
- 7:17Speaker 1: is in the polls, Hokel will probably pardon the guy
- 7:21Speaker 1: just to take that issue away from from Bruce Blakeman.
- 7:24Speaker 1: But who knows, who knows what the crazy Kathy Hokele,
- 7:28Speaker 1: So keep the pressure up though on her pardoning this guy.
- 7:33Speaker 1: You know, on the Upper West Side, there's a Trader Joe's.
- 7:38Speaker 1: There's two floors. It is the busiest Trader Joe's in
- 7:44Speaker 1: the world. And you know, a lot of people love
- 7:48Speaker 1: Whole Foods, Wegmans and all the great supermarkets, but a
- 7:53Speaker 1: lot of people are Traders Joe's fanatics. It's like a cult.
- 7:58Speaker 1: They just love Trader Joe's. They got their Trader Joe's bag. Now,
- 8:03Speaker 1: the stuff is very cheap in Trader Joe's. The prices
- 8:06Speaker 1: are great. Nobody has better prices than Trader Joe's. Now,
- 8:10Speaker 1: how do you think they achieve those low prices. Well,
- 8:13Speaker 1: you've got to use cheaper ingredients to do that, And
- 8:16Speaker 1: many of their suppliers have told me. Every year they
- 8:18Speaker 1: come around and tell you got to cut your cost
- 8:20Speaker 1: in half, and they argue, I can't. I've already cut
- 8:24Speaker 1: the quality of my ingredients. I can't do it again.
- 8:27Speaker 1: And they tell them, you're either going to cut the
- 8:29Speaker 1: cost in half or you're out. So all they can
- 8:31Speaker 1: do is cut down on the quality the ingredients. So
- 8:33Speaker 1: the stuff might look good, taste good, and be cheap,
- 8:36Speaker 1: but you're talking about not the highest quality ingredients in there,
- 8:39Speaker 1: but it's very cheap. And people go crazy over Trader Joe's.
- 8:43Speaker 1: The busiest one in the world is the Upper West Side.
- 8:46Speaker 1: It's at seventy second and yeah, seventy second in Broadways,
- 8:52Speaker 1: two floors. Well, they announced they have to close it
- 8:54Speaker 1: down for a few months. They need to rebuild the
- 8:57Speaker 1: whole store. They need to close and repair the whole place.
- 9:02Speaker 1: And these people are going insane. They don't the notice
- 9:05Speaker 1: went up on the door. Major renovations will take place.
- 9:08Speaker 1: It will close on May seventeenth, and they hope to
- 9:12Speaker 1: get it reopened in a couple of months. But they're
- 9:15Speaker 1: going nuts. These people on the Upper West Side without
- 9:17Speaker 1: their Trader Joe's for a couple of months. Now there's
- 9:20Speaker 1: another Trader Joe's at ninety third Street that's twenty blocks away.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I mean, it's a lot of groceries to carry, but
- 9:28Speaker 1: it's still you could just go twenty blocks up. It's
- 9:30Speaker 1: not that far. There's another Trader Joe's twenty blocks away.
- 9:33Speaker 3: You know.
- 9:33Speaker 1: For people live in the suburbs, many of them are
- 9:36Speaker 1: saying right now, I'd love to have a supermarket only
- 9:38Speaker 1: twenty blocks from my house. But on the Upper West
- 9:40Speaker 1: Side they're going nuts. Now. People have been in there
- 9:42Speaker 1: said it really does need to be redone. The escalators
- 9:45Speaker 1: are always broken. They're not working. There's structural problems. They've
- 9:48Speaker 1: got to be fixed. So that's why you got to
- 9:50Speaker 1: close the whole thing and start over. Hey, President Trump,
- 9:55Speaker 1: what's happening with Iran. Well, he's sending him a signal.
- 10:01Speaker 1: They're stalling. They're just stalling and stalling. You want to
- 10:04Speaker 1: continue the negotiations or get to some resolution, and Ran
- 10:07Speaker 1: just figures they'll stall forever. They see all the Democrats,
- 10:11Speaker 1: all the weasel Chuck Schumer, Blumenthal, all these Democrats against
- 10:16Speaker 1: the war they're like Hanoid Jane, they're like Tokyo Rose.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It's leading the effort to attack the war. So they're
- 10:23Speaker 1: hoping that those guys prevail and the sentiment forces Trump
- 10:28Speaker 1: to stop. I wouldn't count on that at all. That's
- 10:31Speaker 1: not going to happen, but that's their strategy. Trump says,
- 10:35Speaker 1: if they don't start making a deal, it will resume
- 10:37Speaker 1: the combat, and to send a signal. Yesterday he had
- 10:41Speaker 1: the centcom commander, that's Admiral Cooper who's running this, come
- 10:46Speaker 1: to the White House. He was summoned to the White
- 10:48Speaker 1: House for a meeting. Now that of course gets in
- 10:52Speaker 1: the news. Iran is watching that. That's supposed to be
- 10:55Speaker 1: a signal to let him know, you're about to go
- 10:57Speaker 1: through an incredible, overwhelming round of bombing if you don't
- 11:02Speaker 1: come to the table. Now, in the last bombing a
- 11:05Speaker 1: couple of weeks, leaders were killed, Everything military was destroyed,
- 11:11Speaker 1: power plants, everything on one bridge was taken. So there
- 11:13Speaker 1: could be more of that. So the commander coming there
- 11:18Speaker 1: is and they kind of leaked out and know he
- 11:20Speaker 1: was there to go over targets. He was briefing the
- 11:23Speaker 1: President on what to hit next. So now the other
- 11:28Speaker 1: thing is we have the Straight of Horn Moose closed.
- 11:30Speaker 1: As long as that's closed, Iran's economy is shut down.
- 11:33Speaker 1: They have no economy, zero income. Could you imagine if
- 11:40Speaker 1: somebody did that the United States. Imagine if somebody attacked
- 11:42Speaker 1: the United States on the first day they killed the
- 11:44Speaker 1: forty one top leaders in Washington, took out basically the
- 11:48Speaker 1: whole leadership in Washington, then completely destroyed all of our military,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and then totally frozen shut down our economy. Would you say, well,
- 11:58Speaker 1: that's okay, we're winning, we're winning. No, but that's what
- 12:01Speaker 1: Democrats are arguing that Iran is somehow winning this. So
- 12:04Speaker 1: they with the Straight of Horme Moose closed, they can't
- 12:07Speaker 1: move any oil out, which means they got no place
- 12:09Speaker 1: to put the oil they're pumping. They've been getting lots
- 12:12Speaker 1: of these old tankers and try to store it on there,
- 12:14Speaker 1: but they're running out of the tankers. If this continues
- 12:18Speaker 1: another couple of weeks, they will have no place to
- 12:20Speaker 1: put any oil. It means they will have to shut
- 12:23Speaker 1: down the oil fields, shut down the drilling.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Now.
- 12:26Speaker 1: The problem is if you do that, it takes a
- 12:29Speaker 1: long time to reopen. The wells, dry up, everything goes crazy,
- 12:33Speaker 1: so it would cost them. It would devastate them for
- 12:36Speaker 1: the next two years, and it takes a long time
- 12:39Speaker 1: to get those oil wells pumping again. So we have
- 12:42Speaker 1: all the cards, they have none at the moment. So,
- 12:47Speaker 1: now do you like when you go into the supermarkets,
- 12:49Speaker 1: being the supermarkets, the self checkout, or when you going
- 12:52Speaker 1: to home depot or any place Walmart Costco that's self checkout.
- 12:57Speaker 1: If you got like toothed cans, it's pretty easy scin
- 13:00Speaker 1: it throat in the bag. But if you've got things
- 13:02Speaker 1: that need to be weighed and you got to enter
- 13:04Speaker 1: in what it is, it's a pain in the neck. Well,
- 13:07Speaker 1: the stores don't like it either. One by one they're
- 13:09Speaker 1: trying to eliminate self checkout. And the other problem with
- 13:12Speaker 1: the self checkout, that way you don't have to have cashiers.
- 13:16Speaker 1: But with the self checkout, half the time there's three
- 13:18Speaker 1: people that can't do it, and then they have to
- 13:20Speaker 1: have a cashier are basically standing there to do it
- 13:23Speaker 1: for you. So it doesn't really solve the problem. But
- 13:25Speaker 1: now Walmart, Target, Costco, they're all looking at getting rid
- 13:29Speaker 1: of these self checkouts. The problem is the theft rate
- 13:34Speaker 1: on them is unbelievable. Self checkout lines extremely vulnerable to threat.
- 13:40Speaker 1: In fact, sixty nine percent of people, it's two thirds,
- 13:45Speaker 1: say they believe it's easier to steal with the self checkout.
- 13:48Speaker 1: They've admitted to theft, whether intentionally. Some people say it's unintentional,
- 13:53Speaker 1: and they say almost twenty seven percent. And this is
- 13:57Speaker 1: like normal customers have taken something and not scanned it.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So the threat is the theft is unbelievable. Thirty six
- 14:05Speaker 1: percent say they accidentally stole something. Sixty one percent of
- 14:10Speaker 1: those who accidentally took something said they kept it. So
- 14:13Speaker 1: it is costing a fortune in stolen items, So expect
- 14:17Speaker 1: those things to disappear within the next year or two. Hey,
- 14:21Speaker 1: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one
- 14:24Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 14:28Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. Hey, check out my instagram. There's
- 14:31Speaker 1: always a lot of stuff up there. Uh, dinner last
- 14:34Speaker 1: night with Glenn Beck with Miranda Divine, whole bunch of
- 14:37Speaker 1: media people at the Great Beach Cafe. Wonderful place on
- 14:40Speaker 1: the up pre set. But that's upon my Instagram. Also
- 14:44Speaker 1: some interesting stuff about how many people listen to the radio.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Just go to Mark Simone NYC at Instagram, Mark Simone
- 14:52Speaker 1: NYC at Instagram, and we'll take some calls next.
- 14:55Speaker 3: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 14:58Speaker 3: time and tap the preset button.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Now.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Now back to the Mark Simone show on woor.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 15:08Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 15:11Speaker 1: Joe Anne in Florida. Joeanne, how you doing?
- 15:15Speaker 4: Hi?
- 15:15Speaker 5: Mark, I'm doing well.
- 15:16Speaker 4: How are you?
- 15:17Speaker 1: Let me check? Not bad? Not bad?
- 15:21Speaker 4: Oh?
- 15:21Speaker 5: You still got a pulse?
- 15:22Speaker 4: That's good?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah, sixty right now, good?
- 15:24Speaker 6: Mark.
- 15:25Speaker 5: Yes, since you are so knowledgeable, I wanted to ask
- 15:29Speaker 5: you a question. When Obama was in office in two
- 15:34Speaker 5: thousand and nine or whatever, and gas was over four
- 15:37Speaker 5: dollars a gall what would that be Today's an inflation
- 15:41Speaker 5: that everyone is screaming now about gas? Ye, four dollars again, Well.
- 15:45Speaker 1: That's a good point. It'd probably be about five dollars
- 15:47Speaker 1: and twenty cents now, right. Yeah, And obviously Joe Biden
- 15:51Speaker 1: had gas prices way above what we have now for
- 15:54Speaker 1: four years and it was just fine. But that's called
- 15:56Speaker 1: democratic community. They don't pick on you if you're a Democrat.
- 16:00Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I knew you would have a good.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Answer to anymore.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Well, part of Florida, are you in?
- 16:06Speaker 5: I'm in the villages.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Oh my god? What have you got? The shuffle board today, pickleball?
- 16:15Speaker 5: Anything we want to do, we've got And you know
- 16:17Speaker 5: the president is here today, so that's really well, that's.
- 16:20Speaker 1: How he's coming to the villages today. Yes, yeah, So
- 16:24Speaker 1: they're all excited there, they're all waiting for him.
- 16:27Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I mean I'm not out there and the sun waiting
- 16:30Speaker 5: for the president. But people say they've been lined up
- 16:34Speaker 5: since five o'clock in the morning, so God blessing.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Wow. Well those old folks at the villages, good they
- 16:39Speaker 1: were able to fit this into their busy schedule and
- 16:42Speaker 1: take time out for this. But thanks thanks for calling.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Let's go to uh Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich. How
- 16:48Speaker 1: you doing?
- 16:49Speaker 4: And forget those old people. Go to bed at nine,
- 16:51Speaker 4: get up at four thirty eight eight. You know you're
- 16:58Speaker 4: talking about the self checkout a rammar. You know it's easy,
- 17:01Speaker 4: but then you got four guys at the door wanting
- 17:03Speaker 4: to look through your bag and check your receipt, and
- 17:05Speaker 4: you waste more time trying to get, you know, whether
- 17:07Speaker 4: they're trying to prove your thief or not trying to
- 17:09Speaker 4: get out the door. Now, down here in Myrtle Beach,
- 17:12Speaker 4: we've been writing letters, my wife and all her friends
- 17:15Speaker 4: to traded Joe's for ten years down here, and they
- 17:18Speaker 4: finally opened up a traded Joe's from Surfside Beach, just
- 17:20Speaker 4: like five minutes from our house. So everybody down here
- 17:23Speaker 4: is a static. We finally get a traded Joe's because
- 17:25Speaker 4: on Long Island where we're from, in Long Beach and
- 17:28Speaker 4: Ocean Side, they were everywhere, you know down here the
- 17:30Speaker 4: nowhere to be found except Wilmington, North Carolina, and Charleston,
- 17:33Speaker 4: South Carolina, which is from where we are an now
- 17:36Speaker 4: and forty minutes away. So now we got one just
- 17:38Speaker 4: five minutes from the house.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Well, not a big trader Joe's fan, but it's cheap
- 17:41Speaker 1: like this one on the upper west side. You got
- 17:42Speaker 1: the fair way right near there.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Chalk it was great, the dark chalk with peanut butter
- 17:47Speaker 4: cups and the chocolate coats. That kind of stuff was fantastic.
- 17:51Speaker 1: It tastes great. You said, they look into the ingredients,
- 17:53Speaker 1: though they call it the ingredients. You might you might
- 17:56Speaker 1: they might explain to you how they get them so cheap.
- 17:58Speaker 1: But anyway, thanks for calling. Let me just I'm looking
- 18:01Speaker 1: for the President's schedule for today. Here it is ten
- 18:06Speaker 1: am intelligence briefing. Ooh after that, yes, after ten am.
- 18:11Speaker 1: After the briefing, the President departs the White House and
- 18:14Speaker 1: route to the Villages in Florida. Three PM event with
- 18:19Speaker 1: seniors at the village's charter school. Then after that four
- 18:24Speaker 1: thirty five he will depart the Villages in Florida en
- 18:27Speaker 1: route to Palm Beach, Florida. Eight point fifteen, he will
- 18:32Speaker 1: be at mar A Lago. But it's for the uh
- 18:36Speaker 1: oh no, wait, take it back. I think it's the
- 18:38Speaker 1: Cravis Center. It's at the Cravis Center. He'll be in
- 18:41Speaker 1: Palm Beach. But six fifteen the night he's going to
- 18:43Speaker 1: the Forum Club of the Palm Beach's dinner at the
- 18:47Speaker 1: Cravis Center, So I guess he'll be in mar A
- 18:48Speaker 1: Lago all weekend. Marlago closes Mother's Day for the whole season.
- 18:53Speaker 1: It doesn't reopen until about Halloween. That's how bad it
- 18:56Speaker 1: is in Florida. You have to actually close mar A
- 18:58Speaker 1: Lago on Mother's Day because nobody can stand it there
- 19:01Speaker 1: for the whole summer. Let's go to Kevin and Nanuet.
- 19:04Speaker 6: Kevin, how you doing, Mark, You're the funniest guy in
- 19:07Speaker 6: talk radio.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Well the bar wasn't set too high, but okay, thank you.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I just want to ask you a question.
- 19:13Speaker 7: Any scenario boots on the ground in Iran.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Well, we've already done it twice in Iran, but.
- 19:20Speaker 7: That Bush was running it.
- 19:21Speaker 5: We have a smarter president.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Mitche knows how well no Bush would set. You know,
- 19:25Speaker 1: Bush starts a war by putting four hundred thousand troops
- 19:28Speaker 1: on the ground first. This is a much more efficient ward.
- 19:31Speaker 1: That's why Bush was there forever in Iraq. This is
- 19:33Speaker 1: going to be quick, but we've already had twice twice.
- 19:36Speaker 1: We've already had boots on the ground in Iran. We
- 19:39Speaker 1: had them one day. Remember that plane went down and
- 19:42Speaker 1: a pilot was lost, and we had boots on the
- 19:45Speaker 1: ground all over the place for about twenty five hours
- 19:48Speaker 1: to recover the guy and get him out of there.
- 19:50Speaker 1: And then you remember the navigator of the plane was lost.
- 19:54Speaker 1: They had to find him, and we really had boots
- 19:58Speaker 1: on the ground for two days. Not only do we
- 20:00Speaker 1: have boots on the ground we built in Iran a
- 20:03Speaker 1: temporary air base. This is hard to imagine. We had
- 20:07Speaker 1: boots on the ground, We built a temporary air base,
- 20:10Speaker 1: and we brought in planes and helicopters. We've just basically
- 20:14Speaker 1: built an airport in the middle of nowhere in Iran,
- 20:17Speaker 1: surrounded it with troops, surrounded it with planes and drones
- 20:21Speaker 1: and everything, created a two mile perimeter and shot anything
- 20:24Speaker 1: that came near that perimeter. But for about two days
- 20:26Speaker 1: we had boots on the ground there and then the
- 20:29Speaker 1: week before boots on the ground. So it would be nothing,
- 20:31Speaker 1: nothing different if we did it. Let's go to Vincent
- 20:35Speaker 1: and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Mark. One of the other
- 20:40Speaker 7: reasons why a lot of Trader Joe's products are cheaper
- 20:44Speaker 7: their outsourced out in the country. Like most of the
- 20:48Speaker 7: fish products they sell, the frozen fish and preprepared fish,
- 20:53Speaker 7: that's all sourced from out of the country. Mark. Earlier
- 20:57Speaker 7: with Greg Jared, you alluded to the fact that a
- 21:01Speaker 7: life sentence in many states no longer means a life
- 21:05Speaker 7: sentence will long behold. The legislature of New York State legislature,
- 21:11Speaker 7: the whack jobs up there, they're proposing that even if
- 21:15Speaker 7: a judge gave you a life sentence, after twenty years,
- 21:19Speaker 7: you could actually even go to a different judge than
- 21:24Speaker 7: the one who imposed this sentence, and you have them
- 21:28Speaker 7: let you out of jail and reduced. And they're also
- 21:32Speaker 7: proposing that after a certain age, like if you're an
- 21:36Speaker 7: old geezer and you're doing a life sentence, after a
- 21:39Speaker 7: certain age, they'll let you out. And that's all the
- 21:44Speaker 7: blue head maniacs upstate pushing this agenda.
- 21:49Speaker 1: You got crazy left wing hocal and nobody was a
- 21:51Speaker 1: crazier left wing governor than Andrew Colemany bragged about closing prisons,
- 21:55Speaker 1: letting the prisoners out, and he replaced everybody on the
- 21:58Speaker 1: parole board with these left wing coops that let everybody out.
- 22:00Speaker 1: They let out like twenty three cop killers they let out. So, yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 1: you're right, it could happen. Well, Vincent, we got to go.
- 22:06Speaker 1: We gotta do the news. Thank great call. When we
- 22:09Speaker 1: come back, Roger Stone will be with us. Now. We've
- 22:12Speaker 1: been talking about Comy and the horrible things he did
- 22:15Speaker 1: to people. Way do you hear this story of exactly
- 22:18Speaker 1: what he did to Roger Stone, who was guilty of
- 22:20Speaker 1: really nothing. They I mean, it was even if he
- 22:23Speaker 1: was guilty, it was the silliest little thing. But it
- 22:25Speaker 1: turned out he wasn't even guilty. Wait, do you hear
- 22:27Speaker 1: what Komy did to this guy to terrorize him and
- 22:29Speaker 1: his wife. You'll realize what a bad guy this is.
- 22:31Speaker 1: We'll get to that next on seven ten wr Mark Simr. Well,
- 22:42Speaker 1: Roger Stone, of course, you know the name. He's a
- 22:44Speaker 1: legend in American politics and we've got a lot to
- 22:47Speaker 1: talk about him with him, Roger Stone, and he should
- 22:49Speaker 1: check out his website, Stonecold Truth, stonecoldtruth dot com, get
- 22:55Speaker 1: his podcast, get his books at Amazon, and pleasure to
- 23:00Speaker 1: I'm with us, Roger Stone. How you doing.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Mark? Great to be back with you.
- 23:05Speaker 1: That's the best website, right, stone Cold Truth.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Well, people could go to people could go to stone
- 23:10Speaker 3: zone dot com free and you get all my books
- 23:13Speaker 3: there and kind of my daily both videos and the
- 23:18Speaker 3: stuff I write. And you can also hear my radio
- 23:21Speaker 3: show there. So it's kind of all inclusive Stonezone dot com.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Everybody go to stonezone dot com. Hey, we've been talking
- 23:29Speaker 1: about James Comy all week and I don't know, it
- 23:32Speaker 1: seems silly seashells, but just for what he did, to you,
- 23:35Speaker 1: this guy deserves to get the maximum. Everything you were
- 23:39Speaker 1: accused of, like almost nothing, totally nonviolent. You turn yourself
- 23:43Speaker 1: in for an in rest. This guy launched a Normandy
- 23:46Speaker 1: invasion up your front lawn. Tell everybody this story.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of ironic because James Comy and I
- 23:53Speaker 3: were charged with exactly the same crime, charged with lying
- 23:57Speaker 3: under oath to Congress. In his case, he was guilty.
- 24:01Speaker 3: He specifically said under oath that he had never shared
- 24:04Speaker 3: sealed material with anyone and instructed them to leak it.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Of course, federal prosecutors had email in which he had
- 24:11Speaker 3: sent said material to Dan Richmond, a lost school associate
- 24:15Speaker 3: of his, and instructed him very specifically to leak it
- 24:19Speaker 3: to the New York Times. In my case, to violate
- 24:22Speaker 3: the False Statement Act, one must have a motive that
- 24:25Speaker 3: has to be willful. The judge said that my sentencing,
- 24:28Speaker 3: in my Soviet style show trial, you have been convicted
- 24:32Speaker 3: of lying to cover up for Donald Trump, to which
- 24:34Speaker 3: I say, cover up what the Russian collusion that we
- 24:38Speaker 3: now know definitively never happened. So my lawyers were in
- 24:42Speaker 3: touch with the Special Counsel's office the day before y
- 24:45Speaker 3: arrest We gave him thirty pages of text messages that
- 24:48Speaker 3: proved that their star witness, Randy Kreteko, was lying and
- 24:53Speaker 3: that I had told the truth. But they didn't care.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Rather than say, oh you should just you know, come
- 24:58Speaker 3: turn yourself in, we're going to charge you.
- 25:00Speaker 6: Twenty nine heavily armed.
- 25:01Speaker 3: FBI agents in full swat gear, wearing night goggles and
- 25:06Speaker 3: brandishing M four assault weapons arrived by car, ride by boat,
- 25:12Speaker 3: ride by helicopter to arrest me at six o'clock in
- 25:15Speaker 3: the morning and to purp walk my wife out of
- 25:19Speaker 3: the house in her nightgown so that she was suitably
- 25:23Speaker 3: humiliated because there was a CNN camera twenty five feet
- 25:27Speaker 3: from my front door when all of this went down. Now, Mark,
- 25:31Speaker 3: I have an affidavit from a retired Fort Lauderdale police
- 25:35Speaker 3: officer who was called in that day to back up
- 25:37Speaker 3: the FBI, and when he told the CNN crew that
- 25:40Speaker 3: they had to get behind the ropeline with all the
- 25:43Speaker 3: rest of the media, he was chewed out by an
- 25:45Speaker 3: FBI agent who told him, no, they have special permission
- 25:48Speaker 3: to be here.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Wow, Now, obviously they were invited. How else would they
- 25:52Speaker 1: have even known about their raid?
- 25:54Speaker 3: Obviously call me well, in fact, in fact, I was
- 25:57Speaker 3: arrested at six eleven. At six twenty two, a producer
- 26:00Speaker 3: from CNN let my lawyer know by text that I
- 26:04Speaker 3: had been arrested, and she actually attached a copy of
- 26:07Speaker 3: my sealed indictment. My sealed criminal indictment had no time
- 26:12Speaker 3: stamps on, It had no court markings on. It wasn't
- 26:15Speaker 3: unsealed until eleven thirty that morning. So how did CNN know? Well,
- 26:19Speaker 3: if you went to the metadata tags on that document,
- 26:23Speaker 3: you have the initials of the man who wrote it,
- 26:25Speaker 3: and therefore the man who linked it, Andrew Weissman, the
- 26:28Speaker 3: single most corrupt prosecutor in American history.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Wow, you know, I don't really know these guys well.
- 26:34Speaker 1: But Robert Muller, it seemed like an honest guy. How
- 26:37Speaker 1: does he end up with Weissman with Komy as his
- 26:39Speaker 1: number two? Is Muller that bada guy?
- 26:43Speaker 3: I think that by the time he was the Special
- 26:46Speaker 3: Counsel he was non compassment to his performance before the
- 26:49Speaker 3: House indicates to me that he was not in his
- 26:52Speaker 3: right mind. I think he was a frontman. They were
- 26:54Speaker 3: using the gravitas of his former position.
- 26:58Speaker 6: As head of the FBI.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I would argue with the idea that he was a
- 27:01Speaker 3: good guy. He is the guy who failed to investigate
- 27:05Speaker 3: the reports of men training in northern Florida going to
- 27:09Speaker 3: a flight school there, very focused on how to take off,
- 27:13Speaker 3: but not too focused on how to land. Well, four
- 27:16Speaker 3: of those people turned out to be the nine to
- 27:18Speaker 3: eleven hijackers. No investigation until after the attack. He's the
- 27:22Speaker 3: same guy who took the uranium ie sample. That's what
- 27:25Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton sold seventy percent control of the uranium in
- 27:28Speaker 3: this country to a Russian entity. He's the guy who
- 27:31Speaker 3: carried the sample over to Russia for them to inspect
- 27:35Speaker 3: before the sale went down.
- 27:36Speaker 6: So I would argue he was not a good guy
- 27:38Speaker 6: at all.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Now there's a lot of big Trump supporters that
- 27:41Speaker 1: are very mad. They're angry that Komi hasn't been indicted before,
- 27:46Speaker 1: that Brennan isn't in jail, that Wiseman isn't in jail.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Is that ever going to happen? Are you ever going
- 27:50Speaker 1: to see any of that?
- 27:52Speaker 3: Well, I think this is really up to Acting Attorney
- 27:54Speaker 3: General Todd blanche I mean, look, threatening the life of
- 27:57Speaker 3: the president is a far more serious crime. They're lying
- 28:01Speaker 3: under oath to Chigress, which is a process crime, something
- 28:04Speaker 3: that I am not guilty of. And in this case,
- 28:08Speaker 3: the god was the head of the FBI. He knows
- 28:10Speaker 3: what eighty six means. He knows that in mob language
- 28:13Speaker 3: that means to eliminate, to whack. He knows that. So
- 28:17Speaker 3: I do think it is serious. In North Carolina is
- 28:21Speaker 3: a far more favorable jurisdiction for a fair trial than Washington, DC,
- 28:25Speaker 3: where you know they'd probably give you.
- 28:27Speaker 6: A medal for that if you were a federal judge.
- 28:29Speaker 6: But the more.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Serious crime is that of seditious conspiracy. Telsea Gabbert, who
- 28:36Speaker 3: I think is among the President's very best appointments, has
- 28:40Speaker 3: declassified the documents that proved that there was a seditious
- 28:43Speaker 3: conspiracy that began in twenty sixteen in the White House
- 28:47Speaker 3: involving Biden, Obama, Susan Rice, John Brennan, James Comy, Rod Rosenstein,
- 28:56Speaker 3: Robert Muller, and others to not only create the Russian
- 29:00Speaker 3: collusion hoax.
- 29:01Speaker 6: They knew the Steele dossier was a fraud.
- 29:04Speaker 3: That was their chief piece of evidence to rationalize the
- 29:07Speaker 3: appointment of Mueller. They knew there was no hack of
- 29:10Speaker 3: the Democrat National Committee. My lawyers proved that at trial.
- 29:13Speaker 3: That's when they gagged me when I was showing too
- 29:16Speaker 3: much truth. So the real question here is that seditious
- 29:20Speaker 3: conspiracy continues not only through the Russian collusion, but the
- 29:24Speaker 3: two fake impeachments, which Tulci Gabert again has released the
- 29:28Speaker 3: documents proving that that what I believe is the theft
- 29:31Speaker 3: of the twenty twenty election, the Arctic Frost investigation into Trump,
- 29:36Speaker 3: which was an extra constitutional investigation. I was among those
- 29:40Speaker 3: under surveillance. They were reading my emails, listening to my
- 29:43Speaker 3: phone calls. What's the probable cause for that? But it
- 29:47Speaker 3: lands at Marlago. The raid at Marlago puts this within
- 29:51Speaker 3: the jurisdiction of the US Attorney in South Florida. So,
- 29:55Speaker 3: in all honesty, Tulci Gabert has given a first year
- 29:59Speaker 3: law student enough to indict these people. It would take
- 30:02Speaker 3: about an hour. I don't know what they are waiting for.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah, there's Tulcy Gabbert's report, there's your reporting, there's Greg Jarrett,
- 30:09Speaker 1: there's all this stuff. What don't we have a problem
- 30:13Speaker 1: with statute of limitations running out? This has been years
- 30:15Speaker 1: of this year.
- 30:16Speaker 3: There is no statute limitations on seditious conspiracy. She is
- 30:22Speaker 3: the good news, which is the good news. So yes,
- 30:24Speaker 3: I agree with you. I wonder why these people haven't
- 30:28Speaker 3: been brought to justice. It is really about having a
- 30:31Speaker 3: two tier justice system. James Comy lied to Congress two
- 30:35Speaker 3: hundred and fifty four times in one set down of testimony,
- 30:40Speaker 3: yet he was charged when when they asked me, did
- 30:43Speaker 3: you ever get an email from Steve benn And I
- 30:45Speaker 3: said I don't think so.
- 30:46Speaker 6: They produced the email.
- 30:48Speaker 3: It was a link to the front page of that
- 30:51Speaker 3: day's New York Times, So what what?
- 30:54Speaker 6: What did that prove?
- 30:55Speaker 1: But again, a lot of supporters we see how ruthless
- 30:57Speaker 1: Biden Brannan. They're ruthless. They'll do anything, They'll kill anybody
- 31:01Speaker 1: in the way. President Trump won't do that, But some
- 31:06Speaker 1: argue he's got to start doing But is it the
- 31:07Speaker 1: case where you can't start doing what they do? It
- 31:11Speaker 1: would make us just as bad as them.
- 31:13Speaker 3: No, there's a substantial difference, and that is President Trump
- 31:16Speaker 3: didn't violate the law of the Constitution. General Flynn did
- 31:20Speaker 3: not violate the law or the constitution. I didn't violate
- 31:22Speaker 3: the law or the constitution. In this case, you have
- 31:25Speaker 3: very serious crimes. These people violated the law. Let's take
- 31:29Speaker 3: the impeachment. The cute twin Vinman brothers in their cute
- 31:33Speaker 3: little uniforms, insisting on being called colonel. Those guys made
- 31:38Speaker 3: up their testimony. Eric cmmeller, the CIA operative, the so
- 31:42Speaker 3: called whistleblower who denied under oath that he'd ever talked
- 31:45Speaker 3: to Adam Schiff, was being coached by Adam Shiff. The difference,
- 31:48Speaker 3: Mark is they broke the law, and they violated the constitution.
- 31:53Speaker 4: We did not.
- 31:54Speaker 3: And that's a very substantial difference. I think they should
- 31:56Speaker 3: be prosecuted.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah, well, keep pushing that, Keep pushing for that. Now,
- 32:00Speaker 1: because of all the legal torture that put you through,
- 32:03Speaker 1: you got Do you still have big legal bills? Right?
- 32:05Speaker 1: Do you still have a legal defense fund? Well?
- 32:07Speaker 3: Actually, I must admit that that I have that I'm
- 32:11Speaker 3: slowly recovering.
- 32:12Speaker 6: I mean, you're right.
- 32:13Speaker 3: We lost our home, our savings, our insurance. I had
- 32:17Speaker 3: to sell my electric guitar that almost killed me, me
- 32:20Speaker 3: that that got me through college by playing in a
- 32:23Speaker 3: small band. I basically we were indigen I had to
- 32:28Speaker 3: borrow money for my adult children to live. But I
- 32:32Speaker 3: have paid off an enormous legal debt and I just
- 32:37Speaker 3: paid off an enormous debt to the irs. You see,
- 32:41Speaker 3: Hunter Biden was allowed to walk on fifteen million dollars
- 32:45Speaker 3: in taxes.
- 32:45Speaker 6: They allowed those taxes to expire.
- 32:48Speaker 3: In my case, I paid them an enormous amount, seventy
- 32:51Speaker 3: five percent of which was interest in penalties.
- 32:54Speaker 6: Would they would give me no break?
- 32:56Speaker 3: These are two thousand and six taxes, the only year
- 32:59Speaker 3: in which I was I was sure. So they sued
- 33:02Speaker 3: me in a civil suit. Not because I hid income,
- 33:05Speaker 3: not because I evaded texts mark. They sued me because
- 33:08Speaker 3: they break me financially. Then they sued me when I
- 33:11Speaker 3: couldn't make the payments.
- 33:12Speaker 1: God, well, it's an awful chapter in America. But everybody,
- 33:17Speaker 1: go to stone Zone dot com. You can get the podcast,
- 33:20Speaker 1: you can get his everything's there, his books. Go to
- 33:23Speaker 1: stonezone dot com, Stonezone dot com and Roger Stone. Let's
- 33:28Speaker 1: do it again soon.
- 33:30Speaker 6: Are great to be back with you. God bless you all.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Right, keep up the good work, Take care, hey, and
- 33:35Speaker 1: don't forget coming up at noon today We got Buck
- 33:40Speaker 1: and Clay with an excellent show every day noon to three.
- 33:43Speaker 1: And you know Curtis is back. You can now listen
- 33:46Speaker 1: to Curtis Leewa and Larry Menti every morning six to ten.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Right here on seven ten WR.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Let's get back to the Mark Simone show on WR.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's the first day of May. It's May first already,
- 34:03Speaker 1: you got the Mother's Day coming up, you got Sinko Demayo,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and you got May Day coming up. This is a
- 34:09Speaker 1: big event now for Democrats and they're going to plan
- 34:12Speaker 1: this some massive, massive May Day demonstrations all around the country.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Six hundred communist groups and other radical organizations linked to
- 34:22Speaker 1: Democrats are mobilizing all over the United States for this
- 34:25Speaker 1: May Day demonstration. One of the things they do is
- 34:28Speaker 1: to tell people not to buy anything, don't. They basically
- 34:31Speaker 1: try to destroy the economy in one day. It's absolutely horrible.
- 34:34Speaker 1: It's going to be chaos. It's going to be embarrassing
- 34:37Speaker 1: for the Democrats, not the crazy, woke Democrats, but for
- 34:40Speaker 1: normal people. And it's going to cost them with independence
- 34:44Speaker 1: when they watch this. So it's good let them do it.
- 34:47Speaker 1: It'll help screw up the midterm elections for them. And also,
- 34:51Speaker 1: you can never you know, you guys, can't ever do
- 34:53Speaker 1: a no King's demonstration ever. Again. There was a king
- 34:57Speaker 1: here this week parading around everywhere, and you did protest
- 35:00Speaker 1: him once an actual king. Hey, we're out of time.
- 35:03Speaker 1: I'll be back Monday. Every weekday ten to noon. Have
- 35:06Speaker 1: a great weekend seven to ten wo
