Latest / THE WORLD'S BEST PREACHER / T.D. Jakes Sermons Positioning Yourself to Prosper Part 2 - The Potter’s House of Dallas
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: If you consume the tithe, the Bible says, the Bible
- 0:04Speaker 1: says you are cursed with the curse. It doesn't say
- 0:07Speaker 1: that God curses you, it just says you are cursed
- 0:10Speaker 1: with the curse. God is not in the business of
- 0:12Speaker 1: cursing his people, but you can curse yourself by your behavior.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our King. I'm
- 0:24Speaker 1: excited to share this word with you. We're talking a
- 0:27Speaker 1: thousand generations. That series is impacting lives. As you begin
- 0:32Speaker 1: to understand how you have to position yourself and move
- 0:35Speaker 1: into your destiny and purpose, I believe that God is
- 0:37Speaker 1: going to bless you. You have to be positioned to prosper.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Right relationships, right place, right time, right attitude toward God.
- 0:45Speaker 1: You can't just wish your way into things. You can't
- 0:49Speaker 1: just hope, Lord, I shall do. No, no. They're the
- 0:53Speaker 1: right way to plant a garden. They're the right way
- 0:55Speaker 1: to reap a harvest. They're the right way to pick
- 0:57Speaker 1: an apple from a tree. They're the right way to
- 0:59Speaker 1: step into your destiny and purpose. There's a strategy to longevity.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Plan to be a blessing to your family for years
- 1:07Speaker 1: to come so that your great-great-grandchildren will look up and say,
- 1:10Speaker 1: thank God.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I was born in this lineage. Get ready, get ready,
- 1:14Speaker 2: get ready. I'm going to show you how.
- 1:17Speaker 1: You can have two people tithing right beside each other
- 1:21Speaker 1: and get a different response because one person is trying
- 1:24Speaker 1: it because they want to see if this will help
- 1:27Speaker 1: me get the job that I'm being interviewed for next Thursday.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And the other person is saying, I just love you, Lord,
- 1:33Speaker 1: with the job, without the job. I just thank you
- 1:36Speaker 1: because all I have belongs to you and I'm glad
- 1:40Speaker 1: to bring this to you. Both of them are waving
- 1:45Speaker 1: the envelope together. Both of them are shouting together. They're
- 1:48Speaker 1: doing the same thing. But they're doing it for different reasons. Footnote,
- 1:57Speaker 1: if you decide to teach this and use this, this
- 2:00Speaker 1: is what the judgment seat of Christ.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Is about for the church.
- 2:03Speaker 1: For the judgment seat of Christ is not to weigh
- 2:06Speaker 1: the deeds you did as much as it is to
- 2:09Speaker 1: weigh the reasons you did them. The judgment seat of
- 2:13Speaker 1: Christ is not about whether you're saved or not, but
- 2:16Speaker 1: it's where God gets down into the motives. He said
- 2:20Speaker 1: on this foundation, no greater foundation has any man laid
- 2:23Speaker 1: than that was laid by Jesus Christ. And upon this foundation,
- 2:26Speaker 1: some built wood, stubble and hay, some built gold and silver.
- 2:30Speaker 1: The difference is some of them did the right things,
- 2:33Speaker 1: but they did them for the wrong reasons. And God
- 2:36Speaker 1: who searches the heart, God who searches the heart and
- 2:43Speaker 1: is not impressed by the action, but the attitude behind it,
- 2:48Speaker 1: then evaluates you and blesses or curses you, not by
- 2:52Speaker 1: the size of the gift, but by the size of
- 2:55Speaker 1: the heart that gave the gift. Are you following what
- 3:02Speaker 1: I'm saying to you? So one of the hard questions
- 3:05Speaker 1: you have to ask yourself, and don't take the easy way.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And get simpler answers, are you a luster? Or a lover.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I believe that God wants us to live in a
- 3:19Speaker 1: place of love. In a state of love. It's more
- 3:24Speaker 1: than just a geographical location. But in a state of
- 3:27Speaker 1: love and well-being. I believe that because when you look
- 3:30Speaker 1: at the Garden of Eden, you look at God's plan
- 3:32Speaker 1: for man. God's plan for man is revealed in the
- 3:35Speaker 1: Garden of Eden. God's plan for man is for you
- 3:39Speaker 1: to walk in a state of perpetual blessings. God set
- 3:43Speaker 1: up this system. God set up.
- 3:45Speaker 2: The Garden of Eden.
- 3:46Speaker 1: The devil didn't have anything to do with it. It
- 3:48Speaker 1: wasn't greedy preachers that did it. It wasn't any carnal
- 3:51Speaker 1: manipulation of men. God set up the Garden of Eden
- 3:53Speaker 1: so that you would have a picture of what he
- 3:56Speaker 1: would do in your life if you would obey his word.
- 4:01Speaker 1: And in Eden, they had all of their needs met
- 4:04Speaker 1: without sweat.
- 4:10Speaker 2: All of their needs met without sweat.
- 4:12Speaker 1: If every blessing you get is a blessing you work for,
- 4:16Speaker 1: you're still not hearing what I'm saying. God wants to
- 4:18Speaker 1: bring you into a place where blessings come to you.
- 4:22Speaker 2: It just grows up all around you.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You're just dwelling in a place of love. Abundance comes
- 4:28Speaker 1: to you and you're not just eating what you work for.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You are getting blessings from unexpected places. God just touches people.
- 4:35Speaker 1: God just opens doors. You've got passive and aggressive streams
- 4:39Speaker 1: of income. They're coming from all directions. While Adam was asleep,
- 4:44Speaker 1: fresh vegetation, fresh crops, fresh fruit was growing up all
- 4:48Speaker 1: around him so that when he woke up in the morning,
- 4:50Speaker 1: he was never too far from what he was hungry for.
- 4:59Speaker 1: This is not about flamboyance. It's not about excess. It's
- 5:03Speaker 1: not about opulence. It's about God supplying all of your
- 5:07Speaker 1: needs according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus. Listen,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I don't want my children to be in one. How
- 5:22Speaker 1: many people got children in here? Do you know how
- 5:25Speaker 1: it bothers you when your children have a need or
- 5:27Speaker 1: they're in trouble? I mean really in trouble. I'm not
- 5:30Speaker 1: talking about an extra Nintendo. But I mean when there's
- 5:32Speaker 1: something real. Don't you think that it bothers the heart
- 5:35Speaker 1: of God when you don't have your needs met? God
- 5:40Speaker 1: wants you to dwell in a perpetual state of Eden
- 5:43Speaker 1: because he designed, God designed Adam's environment. What environment has
- 5:51Speaker 1: God designed for you that you're not living in? Now
- 5:59Speaker 1: in order to receive this, you have to understand, you
- 6:02Speaker 1: need a certain spirit. Now this might challenge you a
- 6:05Speaker 1: little bit, but just flow with me. Flow with me.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You need a certain spirit of entitlement. Adam had to
- 6:17Speaker 1: think himself special. In order to dwell in this special place.
- 6:21Speaker 1: He had to feel like he had a right to
- 6:23Speaker 1: be there. He couldn't be walking around, oh, you know,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I guess I go.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I don't even need all this, but since the.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Lord did give it, I guess I go on in.
- 6:32Speaker 1: He had to feel like this is where I live.
- 6:35Speaker 1: The fish live in the water. The birds live in
- 6:38Speaker 1: the air. This is where I live. I dwell in
- 6:40Speaker 1: the place of abundance.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Glory to God. I said, glory to God. Glory to God.
- 6:54Speaker 1: See, if you don't go in head first, we got
- 6:56Speaker 1: to get rid of stinking thinking so that you're ready
- 6:59Speaker 1: to receive what God has for you. And people who
- 7:02Speaker 1: don't think they're supposed to have it either don't get
- 7:05Speaker 1: it or they sabotage it when they.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Do get it.
- 7:08Speaker 1: You'd be surprised at the people who sabotage their finances
- 7:12Speaker 1: through excesses, through gluttony, through spending too much. It's the
- 7:16Speaker 1: same way people sabotage their marriages. Some people are not
- 7:19Speaker 1: satisfied until they've driven you away. Now, if you know
- 7:24Speaker 1: I'm telling the truth, hold your hand up. Everything started
- 7:27Speaker 1: out fine. You didn't even have nothing to argue about.
- 7:29Speaker 1: They weren't satisfied until.
- 7:31Speaker 2: They pushed you away.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Some people sabotage themselves because they don't give themselves permission
- 7:36Speaker 1: to receive what God.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Is bringing into their lives.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Now, that gets into some deep stuff and I'm not
- 7:42Speaker 1: going to go that deep in that stuff. But sometimes
- 7:44Speaker 1: the way we were raised, the way we were taught,
- 7:47Speaker 1: early things that happened in our childhood, that we have
- 7:49Speaker 1: a predisposition to misery. And we're not satisfied until everybody's
- 7:54Speaker 1: fighting in the house. We're not satisfied until there's conflict
- 7:57Speaker 1: because that is your normal. And so you need to
- 8:04Speaker 1: be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Lay your
- 8:10Speaker 1: hands on your head and say, give me a new mind.
- 8:19Speaker 2: God is a lover.
- 8:22Speaker 1: He said, now the earth is the lowest of fullness.
- 8:24Speaker 1: They're of the world and they that dwell therein. And Adam,
- 8:27Speaker 1: you're free to move all over the world. But this
- 8:29Speaker 1: special little garden, I fixed it just for you. And
- 8:34Speaker 1: every tree around there, you can have whatever you want
- 8:39Speaker 1: in the garden. Just eat as much as you want.
- 8:42Speaker 1: No limitations. All your needs are met. Adam didn't have
- 8:45Speaker 1: to go to work. Adam didn't have to labor. Because
- 8:48Speaker 1: when God really begins to bless you, I'm not saying
- 8:51Speaker 1: you shouldn't work. But many of the blessings come without sweat.
- 8:55Speaker 1: There are some folk in here right now. It's not
- 8:57Speaker 1: that you don't work every day, but some of the
- 8:59Speaker 1: greatest blessings that you have experienced in your life are
- 9:02Speaker 1: things that you didn't deserve.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You don't earn. When Pastor Twiggs was.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Talking about what we owe God, I said, if I
- 9:07Speaker 1: gave God everything I owe him, I'd go home naked.
- 9:10Speaker 1: In fact, I wouldn't have a house. I'd have to
- 9:12Speaker 1: give him a house. Everything I own belongs to God.
- 9:15Speaker 1: There are some things that God did for me. I
- 9:18Speaker 1: know God did it. Can I give you a little testimony?
- 9:30Speaker 1: The house I own right now, the house I bought
- 9:32Speaker 1: right now, we closed on the house, we bought the house,
- 9:35Speaker 1: we moved in the house. 60 days, I think it
- 9:38Speaker 1: was about 60 days after we moved in the house,
- 9:41Speaker 1: we found out that they found gas up under the neighborhood.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And now they're going to have to pay all the
- 9:49Speaker 1: homeowners checks based on whoever owns the most land gets
- 9:53Speaker 1: the biggest check. I didn't know anything about it. I
- 10:05Speaker 1: had no idea about it. I just happened to be
- 10:07Speaker 1: attracted to that piece of property. If the people who
- 10:10Speaker 1: were selling the house had known 60 days earlier that
- 10:14Speaker 1: there was gas up under that land, they would have
- 10:17Speaker 1: never sold me the house or they wouldn't have given
- 10:20Speaker 1: me the mineral rights, but I own the house and
- 10:23Speaker 1: the rights to everything up under it.
- 10:26Speaker 2: And I said, hey, hey, it's birthday. I'm mad. I said, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm telling you, God will open up the windows of
- 10:44Speaker 1: heaven and pour you out blessings. You won't have room
- 10:54Speaker 1: enough to receive. Tell somebody, say, no sweat. Didn't work
- 11:31Speaker 1: for it. Didn't earn it. Can't even take credit for it.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Some people say, oh, you know that Jakes is a
- 11:37Speaker 1: smart businessman. Jakes didn't even know it. Jason just stumbled
- 11:45Speaker 1: up into it. When you walk in divine favor with God, you'll.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Just stumble up into stuff.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You don't even know how you got there yourself. I'm
- 12:00Speaker 1: telling you, it is the father's good pleasure to give
- 12:05Speaker 1: unto you the kingdom. And if you just line up
- 12:07Speaker 1: with his word, you'll start stumbling in the supernatural blessings.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Glory to God.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Genesis 2 and 9, when you have it, say amen.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Now God is setting up the system. He's explaining the system,
- 12:45Speaker 1: how the blessings are going to work. And out of
- 12:48Speaker 1: the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree
- 12:51Speaker 1: that is pleasant to the sight and good for food.
- 12:55Speaker 1: The tree of life also is in the midst of
- 12:57Speaker 1: the garden, where we get eternal life. And the tree
- 13:01Speaker 1: of knowledge of good and evil. Verse 17. But of
- 13:07Speaker 1: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou
- 13:09Speaker 1: shall not eat of it. For in the day that
- 13:12Speaker 1: thou eatest thereof, thou shall surely die. If you read
- 13:16Speaker 1: from verse 9 down to verse 17, you'll find out
- 13:18Speaker 1: God said you can eat anything else you want. But
- 13:24Speaker 1: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God
- 13:27Speaker 1: says don't eat that. That's divine portions. God says, I
- 13:38Speaker 1: will never curse you. But if you eat of this tree,
- 13:42Speaker 1: you will curse yourself. Because eating of this tree will
- 13:47Speaker 1: push you out of the place of blessings. That's a
- 13:54Speaker 1: pretty good deal. You can eat all the other trees
- 13:56Speaker 1: you want. Except this one tree. This one tree is
- 14:02Speaker 1: your discipline over this one tree is how you show
- 14:06Speaker 1: your love to me. Divine portion. You can have anything else,
- 14:13Speaker 1: but the day you eat of this tree, thou shalt
- 14:15Speaker 1: surely die. Doesn't this all sound kind of familiar? The tree,
- 14:23Speaker 1: the same thing that God is saying about tithes. If
- 14:28Speaker 1: you eat the tithe, If you consume the tithe, the
- 14:38Speaker 1: Bible says you are cursed with a curse. It doesn't
- 14:42Speaker 1: say that God curses you. It just says you are
- 14:45Speaker 1: cursed with a curse. God is not in the business
- 14:47Speaker 1: of cursing his people, but you can curse yourself.
- 14:50Speaker 2: By your behavior. Doctrine of Balaam.
- 14:54Speaker 1: The doctrine of Balaam teaches that your actions can bring
- 14:58Speaker 1: curses on you that you shouldn't even have because you
- 15:02Speaker 1: violated a principle of divine portion. God says, I will
- 15:07Speaker 1: stay in business with you so long as you give
- 15:10Speaker 1: me my part.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Now that's fair.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Still to come on the Potter's Touch.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Tithing is a system of circulation. Seed to the sower.
- 15:22Speaker 1: He gives seed to the sower. He gives seed to
- 15:26Speaker 1: the sower.
- 15:27Speaker 2: It's reciprocity.
- 15:28Speaker 1: It's God playing catch ball with you. You toss it
- 15:31Speaker 1: to him. He tosses it back to you. It's just
- 15:34Speaker 1: that the ball he tosses back is always bigger than the.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Ball you toss.
- 15:40Speaker 3: God longs not just to provide all you need, but
- 15:43Speaker 3: for your whole family and for 1,000 generations to come.
- 15:47Speaker 1: You will live and die and not spend up all
- 15:49Speaker 1: the blessing that God's going to release upon you and
- 15:52Speaker 1: upon your children and upon your children's children.
- 15:56Speaker 3: He supplied more than enough in the Garden of Eden.
- 15:59Speaker 3: And that is still God's desire for you today. For
- 16:01Speaker 3: helping us reach others with your best gift of any size,
- 16:04Speaker 3: you will receive a Beyond the Blessing DVD. Just visit
- 16:07Speaker 3: our website or call 1-800-BISHOP-2.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Adam had to think himself special. He had to feel
- 16:13Speaker 1: like this is where I live. I dwell in the
- 16:16Speaker 1: place of abundance.
- 16:18Speaker 3: When your gift is $ 75 or more, we will include
- 16:21Speaker 3: Bishop Jake's many book, 1,000 Generations of Blessing. However, when
- 16:25Speaker 3: your gift is $ 150 or more, we will also add
- 16:27Speaker 3: Bishop Jake's four message DVD, 1,000 Generations of Blessing, along
- 16:32Speaker 3: with an inspirational coaster set. Let us help change the
- 16:35Speaker 3: direction of your legacy for 1,000 generations.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I got a literary agent. A literary agent that sells
- 16:48Speaker 1: my book rights. And the literary agent gets a certain
- 16:50Speaker 1: percent out of my book rights.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And you negotiate that percent. Do I pay the literary agent? Yes. Why?
- 16:56Speaker 2: Because they have the ability to get the deal I want.
- 17:00Speaker 2: And if I don't think that the literary.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Agent is good at what they do, I wouldn't have
- 17:04Speaker 1: signed the contract.
- 17:05Speaker 2: I am more than happy to.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Give you your 10 or your 15 or your 20%
- 17:09Speaker 1: or whatever it is because you are able to take
- 17:12Speaker 1: me into offices that I couldn't get in myself. And
- 17:15Speaker 1: I want you to have your 10% because now I
- 17:18Speaker 1: get the 90 that I wouldn't have got without you. Now,
- 17:23Speaker 1: true enough, I can write the book without you, and yes,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I can knock on doors without you, but you can
- 17:28Speaker 1: take me places that I couldn't go on my own,
- 17:31Speaker 1: and it is worth it to me to retain your
- 17:34Speaker 1: services and give you your cut because you can take
- 17:39Speaker 1: me places.
- 17:40Speaker 2: That I couldn't go on my own.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Well, if you think the literary agent is something, let
- 17:45Speaker 1: me tell you about your God who can take you
- 17:48Speaker 1: in places that you couldn't go yourself.
- 17:51Speaker 2: And he only wants.
- 18:05Speaker 1: God says, I'll do it for a dime. I'll bless
- 18:10Speaker 1: you for a dime. I'll bless you for a dime. Adam,
- 18:15Speaker 1: you can have the whole garden, but of the tree
- 18:18Speaker 1: of the knowledge of good and evil.
- 18:20Speaker 2: You shall not eat. For the day you eat of
- 18:22Speaker 2: that tree, you shall surely die.
- 18:23Speaker 1: The first thing the devil does when he comes in
- 18:27Speaker 1: the garden, the very first thing he seduces them to do,
- 18:34Speaker 1: if not any kind of crazy incest, he doesn't worry
- 18:37Speaker 1: about bestiality. He's not trying to hook Eve up with
- 18:40Speaker 1: some horse out in the field. He is trying to
- 18:44Speaker 1: get her to eat God's portion. Because the devil knows
- 18:49Speaker 1: that the day they eat the portion, they have to
- 18:52Speaker 1: leave the place. And he wants the place. God said it.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Look Adam, you can have anything but this. Why did God,
- 19:24Speaker 1: is it something about the tree of the knowledge of
- 19:25Speaker 1: good and evil that God particularly wants for himself? No,
- 19:30Speaker 1: because I mean he created it, he created another one.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Does God need your 10%? Absolutely not. He had the 100%.
- 19:43Speaker 1: What does God get out of the 10%? He gets
- 19:47Speaker 1: your love. God must want to bring me into a place,
- 20:04Speaker 1: an Eden-like environment of supernatural blessing where my latter days
- 20:09Speaker 1: should be greater than my former days. Somebody say, Lord,
- 20:14Speaker 1: help me not to curse myself. I'm going to be
- 20:20Speaker 1: honest with you. Half of the messes, more than half,
- 20:23Speaker 1: of the messes that I got into in my life,
- 20:26Speaker 1: I brought it on my full self with the dumb
- 20:29Speaker 1: things and the dumb choices I made. I'm not worried
- 20:33Speaker 1: about the enemy out there. I'm worried about the.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Enemy in me.
- 20:45Speaker 1: If you can relate to that, say amen. Now we're
- 20:48Speaker 1: going to go deeper. Can we go a little bit deeper? Okay,
- 20:51Speaker 1: this is good.
- 20:52Speaker 2: This is good. This is good. This is good.
- 20:55Speaker 1: See, tithing is not an emotional explosion where somebody preaches
- 21:02Speaker 1: you into a fit and you forget about everything and
- 21:04Speaker 1: run up there and dump out your pocketbook. You might
- 21:08Speaker 1: do that for a minute, but you're not going to
- 21:09Speaker 1: do that every week. Tithing is a system of circulation.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Seed to the sower. He gives seed to the sower.
- 21:22Speaker 1: He gives seed to the sower. It's reciprocity. It's God
- 21:26Speaker 1: playing catch ball with you. You toss it to him.
- 21:29Speaker 1: He tosses it back to you. It's just that the
- 21:31Speaker 1: ball he tosses back is always bigger than the ball
- 21:34Speaker 1: you toss back.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I'm trying to bring you.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Into a cycle and a system of supernatural blessings instead
- 21:44Speaker 1: of getting favor on January and losing it until August.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to bring you into a cycle of blessings
- 21:50Speaker 1: where God sustains you because you are faithful even as
- 21:58Speaker 1: he is faithful. Why do you take time to teach
- 22:05Speaker 1: on this? Because a lot of you have been taught
- 22:07Speaker 1: that A lot of you haven't been taught. Some of
- 22:09Speaker 1: you haven't been taught right. Most preachers, when they teach
- 22:11Speaker 1: about tithing, they fuss.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I hate that.
- 22:15Speaker 1: I just hate that because I'm not an idiot. Don't
- 22:18Speaker 1: yell at me. Don't fuss at me. Explain it to me.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Make it make sense to me. Teach me. Teach me
- 22:25Speaker 1: and then I'll make a decision.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Don't be, y'all ain't coming up in here.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Then a lot of you come from churches, tithing, you
- 22:35Speaker 1: pay dues. How many folks know what about church dues?
- 22:43Speaker 1: You got the little box with the cards in it
- 22:45Speaker 1: when you join the church?
- 22:52Speaker 2: Dues are not in here. Tabs are all over the book.
- 23:03Speaker 2: I want to get into some stuff. Is this good?
- 23:05Speaker 2: Is this good?
- 23:07Speaker 1: When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, food,
- 23:13Speaker 1: good for food, the lust of the flesh, and that
- 23:17Speaker 1: it was pleasant to the eyes, oh, you're with me,
- 23:24Speaker 1: the lust of the eye, and a tree to be
- 23:26Speaker 1: desired to make one wise, the pride of life. The
- 23:36Speaker 1: lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and
- 23:39Speaker 1: the pride.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Of life, the Bible says she ate it.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Those are the only three reasons that'll make you eat
- 23:47Speaker 1: your tithe. I've shown you every reason not to eat it,
- 23:55Speaker 1: and the only three reasons you have left to go
- 23:57Speaker 1: ahead and eat it up is the lust of the flesh,
- 24:01Speaker 1: the lust of the eye, And the pride of life.
- 24:04Speaker 1: And that's why God says, love, this is about to love.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Love, not the world.
- 24:09Speaker 1: This is about love. Neither the things that are of
- 24:14Speaker 1: the world. For he that loveth the world, the love
- 24:16Speaker 1: of the Father is not in him. God wants you
- 24:19Speaker 1: to prove your love by your discipline. How many people
- 24:27Speaker 1: this is making great sense to you? The lust of
- 24:31Speaker 1: the flesh, the lust of the eye, the pride of life.
- 24:34Speaker 1: The woman ate the whole thing and messed her up
- 24:38Speaker 1: and gave it to her husband and he did eat.
- 24:42Speaker 2: And he went down. And when he went down, we
- 24:45Speaker 2: all went down with him. And we all went.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Down into a state of sin over eating God's portions.
- 24:59Speaker 1: No wonder in Malachi God is angry and said, you've
- 25:02Speaker 1: robbed me. Even this whole nation, you are cursed with
- 25:05Speaker 1: the curse. God is angry. He's got an attitude. I mean,
- 25:07Speaker 1: God had all kinds of things to be angry about.
- 25:09Speaker 1: If you read through the Bible, they did all kinds
- 25:11Speaker 1: of mess. They were polygamous and bigamous. They got tied
- 25:15Speaker 1: up in all kinds of stuff. And God forgave them.
- 25:17Speaker 1: They were idolaters. And God forgave them over again. He said,
- 25:20Speaker 1: you are cursed with the curse over this time.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Why? Because what you're seeing.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Happen in Malachi is a reflection of what happened in Genesis.
- 25:30Speaker 2: And it may be what's happening in your life.
- 25:35Speaker 1: You may be eating God's portion because of the lust
- 25:38Speaker 1: of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the
- 25:40Speaker 1: pride of life, and ignoring how good God has been
- 25:43Speaker 1: to give you everything else. How many of you would
- 25:49Speaker 1: do business with a partner that robbed you? If you
- 25:55Speaker 1: were in business with somebody who robbed you, what would
- 25:58Speaker 1: you do?
- 26:00Speaker 2: Get out. You might be fending for.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yourself because God doesn't want to do business with you
- 26:07Speaker 1: because he can't trust you with his part. I'm about
- 26:13Speaker 1: to kill you, Joy. I don't want to do that.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Oh, Lord.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I see blessings coming down from every direction.
- 26:22Speaker 2: I do see them, but are you going to get them? Hey,
- 26:26Speaker 2: I've got more for you in just a moment.

- 26:38Speaker 1: the blessing that God's going to release upon you and
- 26:41Speaker 1: upon your children and upon your children's children.
- 26:45Speaker 3: He supplied more than enough in the Garden of Eden.

- 27:29Speaker 2: I'm out of time.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I've got to stop here. This is a passionate subject
- 27:32Speaker 1: that I see so many people liking. They love the Lord.
- 27:35Speaker 1: They praise, they dance, they beat the world, shout and
- 27:37Speaker 1: they sing and all of that, but can't pay the bills.
- 27:40Speaker 1: You need to be positioned to prosper. There is a mentality,
- 27:43Speaker 1: a discipline, a structure. God can't keep giving more and
- 27:47Speaker 1: more into dysfunction. There's some things that have to be functional.
- 27:51Speaker 1: And once they're functional, he can open up the windows
- 27:54Speaker 1: of heaven and pour you out a blessing. You won't
- 27:55Speaker 1: have room enough to receive. I pray that the oil
- 28:00Speaker 1: would fall from the head onto the beard, onto the skirts.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Why don't you bring yourself into alignment to be blessed
- 28:05Speaker 1: Let me hear from you. Sow a seed if you can.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Let's touch and agree for a harvest. You cannot have
- 28:12Speaker 1: a harvest if you do not sow a seed.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I love you. I'm praying for you. I want to
- 28:18Speaker 2: hear from you. Take care.
