- 0:02Alright, hello ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:04My name is Brad Keane from GOD TV Radio.
- 0:08I hope you're all having a blessed day.
- 0:11This is Part 2 of our adventure as a star Born.
- 0:16I've went through the Unity, I've went through the 1st
- 0:19universe, and now I'm redoing all the main quests and we're
- 0:24gonna find out what we're gonna do.
- 0:28There's my outfit, there's my buddies behind me, Lyria, Audrey
- 0:37and Vasco. Let's say hi to Vasco.
- 0:40Captain Donald, do you require my assistance?
- 0:44No, not at the moment. Hey, stranger, there's Audrey.
- 0:52Have a good one. Audrey is a star born
- 0:55transgender. That's the way the transgender
- 0:59made their mod. I simply downloaded it because
- 1:03it's a badass star born and it's really good in combat.
- 1:08And this is Laria. She's a mod.
- 1:10The brains of the operation need something.
- 1:15Not at the moment. See ya.
- 1:20Let's go find another companion real quick, another mod.
- 1:26This one's called Robin. I'm going to go ahead and send
- 1:32Vasco back. Hello.
- 1:33Captain, I shall resume my noted duties.
- 1:41All right, see you later. Now just to make sure that Vasco
- 1:55leaves. Well, darn.
- 2:05It was a pleasure to assist you, Captain.
- 2:08There we go, now Vasco should return to the ship.
- 2:15I've got a mod that makes it to where I can go into the interior
- 2:19of cities instead of having to walk all the way to it.
- 2:24The. Well.
- 2:39Heck of a daze. I hear Japan stuffed making real
- 2:54robots. Hey, at least it's the robot.
- 3:14Now sometimes a recipe sitting up there, but I think my auto
- 3:18loot mod picked it up. I have a auto loot mod that, uh,
- 3:26automatically grabs magazines and important books for me.
- 3:31The reason why is I've got terrible eyes.
- 3:36You can either download the auto loop or you can get a glowing
- 3:40mod where it makes stuff glow, but even then it's difficult
- 3:48because sometimes even though they're glowing you can't see
- 3:52them very well. Hey, hey, buddy.
- 4:08Do you mind? You're blocking my light?
- 4:12Wait, we're underground. You're blocking my view of the
- 4:18homeless people. What do you want?
- 4:26Are you a military pilot? What you doing here?
- 4:29A military. Pilot and the United Colonies, A
- 4:32pilot for the Navy is considered the best of the best, defending
- 4:36all of known civilization from existential threat, galactic and
- 4:40domestic. Why in God's name would you
- 4:44think you'd find one of them in this shit hole?
- 4:49Well, you are wearing a flight suit.
- 4:52A flight suit, aren't you? You've got the marking.
- 4:54It might belong to someone else, right?
- 4:58The Navy ain't too popular around these parts.
- 5:01Instead of housing, food, hell, consistent electricity and
- 5:05running water, the United Colony spends all its credits on guns,
- 5:09ammo and dreadnoughts. Sometimes someone just snaps,
- 5:14and sometimes someone can be in the wrong place at the wrong
- 5:18time. Looks like you need somebody to
- 5:25talk to. Someone to talk to.
- 5:28That's all you land lovers do, isn't it?
- 5:30Talk. Why not?
- 5:33It's not like you have anything better to do now that I'm stuck
- 5:37down here with you. I guess it's something I have to
- 5:39learn to get better at once I've run out of booze, of course.
- 5:46She is a bit bitchy when you first meet her, ladies and
- 5:48gentlemen, but she'll start kind of rubbing off.
- 5:54Can I buy you a drink? Well why didn't you lead with
- 5:56that buddy? Those are just the right words I
- 5:59need to hear right now. I would love a drink.
- 6:04Just don't tell the bar keep. It's for me though.
- 6:07He cut me off about an hour ago. Yeah, I'm sorry to hear about
- 6:13that. You buying?
- 6:16What's it going to be? It's going to be you blowing me,
- 6:22asshole. If you keep it up with the
- 6:23attitude, I'll take no, I need a glass of water please.
- 6:30Uh huh. What the hell is this water?
- 6:40Are you trying to send me a message, flyboy?
- 6:44Well, just for you. Alley's up.
- 6:47Come and land at port. Just for a little while.
- 6:51So while I hurtle towards the grounds of sobriety, tell me a
- 6:55little about yourself. Where you from Fly boy?
- 6:58What story brought you to a dive bar and a disgraced military
- 7:02pilot? Well I was a miner in Vectora
- 7:07until some pirates, very weird space pilot and some artifact
- 7:12changed my life forever. Now I have my own ship and I go
- 7:16where I please. Some people might not think it's
- 7:18much, but it's the dream of every free Star Citizen.
- 7:25I've got it set to where I'm UC as well as Freestar.
- 7:30I don't know why it shows that. I think I'm going to put if it's
- 7:37all the same suit. Yourself.
- 7:40Thanks for the drink, fly boy. Don't be a stranger.
- 7:46Oh, so I'm going to have to tell the story I.
- 7:49Gotta use another drink if you're feeling generous, but I'd
- 7:53be happy to settle for that story of yours, Fly Girl.
- 7:58Fly Girl. Got some nerve wasn't too long
- 8:03ago where no Akilah farm boy would look me in the eye.
- 8:06Now they walk right up to me in bars, buy me a drink and smile
- 8:09right in my face like everything I did during that war.
- 8:13That ship? Guess the name Robin Locke
- 8:17doesn't fly as far as it once did and perhaps never again.
- 8:22Still got your own ship huh? You need a pilot on your ship,
- 8:27cowboy. Don't get me wrong, normally I'd
- 8:30have every insult in the world for the mother of a born and
- 8:33bred Aquila homesteader, but I am very, very drunk.
- 8:39Semi adequate motor skills, average vocabulary and some very
- 8:43poor decision making skills. Captain Robin Lock, United
- 8:48Colonies Navy, It used to be a big hidden free star space back
- 8:51in the day. And who knows, maybe one day I
- 8:55can play my big encore. Meantime though, I'm too happy
- 8:59to learn first hand from the enemy.
- 9:01Besides, it'll allow me to get back at the Admiralty for
- 9:04sitting my ass down on the ground when the only place I
- 9:07belong is in that Big Blue sky. When they hear them shaking up
- 9:11with a free * Violet, they'll freak.
- 9:16Good to have you aboard, Robin. Pleasure to come aboard, despite
- 9:20your slightly suspect past. I have a good feeling about you,
- 9:24cowboy. And even if that good feeling
- 9:27hasn't a shred of substance, I have a feeling it's going to be
- 9:30worth it all the same. Ready when you are, Cowboy?
- 9:45I don't know why my character kept moving while I was talking.
- 9:49Must have been because this cock sucker was pushing me all over
- 9:52the place. Wings tight.
- 9:56Follow me. Wait a second.
- 10:19All right, Let's see what kind of mission we can do deliver a
- 10:25slate to. What's wrong with my character?
- 10:33Oh, my character's thirsty. Let's buy some drinks.
- 10:54You buy. You want a beer?
- 10:57Fine. You want a buddy to talk to or
- 10:59therapy session or whatever? Work right back.
- 11:02Out that. Door.
- 11:03Come on deck. Yeah.
- 11:08All right. What's the cheapest drink that
- 11:31he's got? Shit what buy I'll just drink
- 11:43the shit that's in my I'm going to have to see a doctor soon.
- 12:06Just drank a supernova, Oh goodness.
- 12:37Uh oh. I thought my system was going to
- 12:43crash. And that load, it's a little bit
- 12:46funky of an elevator right there.
- 12:48I forgot. Wow, looks like it's going to
- 12:57rain. Oh good.
- 13:18I was going to seek out a doctor and get that fixed.
- 13:23Yeah, I was running around in the dark someplace and this
- 13:28creature bit me. If you.
- 13:30Stop here a moment. It mean a lot to me.
- 13:35Yeah, the person that made Audrey needs to, uh, rerecord
- 13:39your voice lines. The audio's shitty.
- 13:46What do you want? I'm very busy.
- 13:52Relax, Marcus told me to bring you some shit.
- 13:54What? Let me see.
- 13:57Oh yeah, I went to the Sanctum Universum a while back.
- 14:01I haven't checked it out again though.
- 14:05Maybe you should visit again. I'm not sure the truth is that I
- 14:10want to believe in it all. The Sanctum universe and
- 14:14believes that God gave us the ability to grab jumps so that we
- 14:17can search for him and find him. If that's true, maybe I can find
- 14:21my dad as well. I lost him when I was just a
- 14:24little girl. I can barely remember him.
- 14:29Well, talking with other members might help you with your grief.
- 14:33I don't need a lecture from you. Listen, I don't want to talk
- 14:37about this anymore. I'll go back if I want to.
- 14:45Fair enough. I had this Graf jump once and I
- 14:55don't know, I felt something. Thought it was crazy at first.
- 15:03Yeah. My let's see, may I interest you
- 15:08in some news straight from an up and coming journalist?
- 15:11Oh, how exciting. Yes.
- 15:13I'd love to take a look. This is I don't quite know what
- 15:18to say. This is just.
- 15:23Some good shit, right? No, absolutely not.
- 15:28Far from it. This reads just like a hit piece
- 15:31on the Sanctum Universal. It's offensive, orally
- 15:34researched, and just blatantly incorrect.
- 15:37Not to mention it's badly written.
- 15:39How did this person become a reporter?
- 15:45Got any feedback for the reporters?
- 15:48Do some research or don't bother writing anything at all.
- 15:52All right, I'll let him know. Oh boy, got made some sausages
- 16:08and sauerkraut earlier and boy, it's talking to me.
- 16:18Can we run through it one more time?
- 16:20Galvic is pretty good with security.
- 16:23Seems pretty rare anything slips by them all right.
- 16:28So weird looking back and seeing a chubby woman talking with a
- 16:32man's voice. But that's transgenders for you.
- 16:39Together we can really make a difference.
- 16:44I'd like to talk to you about my house or Nestle.
- 16:48Right, small home in the Olympus system, right?
- 16:51There's a balance on that property.
- 16:53Argos Extractors negotiated a very fine loan for you.
- 16:57There are weekly payments, but if you miss a payment, no big
- 16:59deal. It's a pay as you go type of
- 17:02affair. But I think we'd all be happier
- 17:04if you dealt with a mortgage one way or the other.
- 17:10I'm happy with the house. Well, that's great to hear.
- 17:13I might pass that along to the contractors.
- 17:16It'll make their day. So there are two ways to take
- 17:19care of a loan for good. One's easy, just pay off the
- 17:23balance. Then the house is yours, free
- 17:24and clear, and you are one very happy new homeowner.
- 17:27The other option. Less ideal is just walk away and
- 17:32we foreclose on the property. I need some time to think.
- 17:43Absolutely take all the time you need.
- 17:47It's 125,000 credits, so I got to do some work in order to get
- 17:52that kind of fucking bread. Working at the distribution
- 18:16center can be tiring, but it sure is rewarding.
- 18:20Got a special delivery from Marcus.
- 18:23Really nice, I went there a while back, good to see they
- 18:27still Remember Me. Seems like they're interested in
- 18:34seeing you again. Got to.
- 18:35Say that it's nice, you know, having people think about you.
- 18:39Because of my job, I don't really have too much free time
- 18:42to socialize or make friends. Now, don't get me wrong, I
- 18:45absolutely love my job. It's the best job in New
- 18:48Atlantis, but still, it can be hard to put myself out there
- 18:52sometimes. That's actually one of the
- 18:54reasons I went to the Sanctum Universum, just to talk with
- 18:57people and get to know them. It was nice, it really was.
- 19:05Sounds like a good reason to go back.
- 19:07Yeah, I think I will. But hey, let me ask you
- 19:11something. Do you believe in all this
- 19:14Sanctum universal stuff? What do you think?
- 19:19I believe in God. Nice, cool.
- 19:22I don't know if I'll believe it myself, but I guess we'll see
- 19:25what happens. Well, hey, I'll let you get back
- 19:28to it. Thanks for bringing this to me.
- 19:31Keep on keeping on. Welcome to UC distribution.
- 19:44Now, before you say a word, I am required to inform me that
- 19:47formal complaints cannot be filed.
- 19:49The customer feedback system is back online.
- 19:53I have been told it'll be up and running in two weeks, but you
- 19:56know how these things are. I am sorry for any potential
- 19:59inconvenience. Also, if you're here about a
- 20:03corporate account, I've been assured that deliveries will be
- 20:05back on schedule soon. Well, I'd like to see what you
- 20:11have for sale. Yes, of course.
- 20:14Please take a look. I think I might wear that over
- 20:46my trench. I kind of like the way that
- 20:48looks and I know the strings hanging off my jacket will look
- 20:54stupid. So that,
- 21:28I don't know, I kind of like that jacket.
- 21:34Got plenty of meat. I unfortunately I didn't record
- 21:40it, but I did go to a world and complete a quest that involved
- 21:45hunting. I wasn't sure that you guys out
- 21:48there would like it, but I think that I'm just going to record
- 21:52everything I do, even the boring shit.
- 21:57Or at least what some might think is boring.
- 21:59Do it then. Yeah, I did the King Gas mod
- 22:07quest where I'm told to go hunt three creatures and bring them
- 22:11back some of the material so you could build a suit.
- 22:14Now you see me start the quest. You just didn't see me visit the
- 22:17world I should have, though. The planet looked awesome as
- 22:21hell. I'll revisit it again.
- 22:24You guys will see the planet 'cause I'm probably going to end
- 22:28up building a settlement on it anyway.
- 22:43I'm going to have to save soon. I don't want to have a problem
- 22:47and lose all the work I've done thus far in this live stream.
- 23:01Think I think I'm going to go do a quest that involves remember I
- 23:06talked to the scientist, he asked me to go get a slate.
- 23:09Let me go ahead and get this. I've been instructed by my
- 23:16client, Doctor Reginald Rias, to make contact in the event of his
- 23:21death or in the event he's missing, presumed dead.
- 23:24My client was most empathetic. Or empathetic.
- 23:29No, I don't know that. This message should be delivered
- 23:32to the SNN front desk. His personal laptop should be
- 23:37found, and the side of the story should be heard.
- 23:40He suggested the starting point traveling to the cordons
- 23:43contained with them. The message he wished for me to
- 23:46convey with a somewhat unusual request was sorry for my part in
- 23:51the New Atlantis attack. Things are not as they seem,
- 23:54however. Yeah, all right.
- 23:57Well, that's a quest, apparently.
- 24:01You have another story for me. What stories are you working on
- 24:06right now? I'm working on an investigative
- 24:08piece about some of the businesses in the well right
- 24:10now, trying to get a handle on how things are in that part of
- 24:14the city. I'm not sure the story will get
- 24:17off the ground though. I asked the higher ups if I
- 24:21could go down there for some interviews, but they said it's
- 24:24too dangerous. It'd probably be all for it if
- 24:27David asked. I can do the interviews for you
- 24:32would. You really I'd owe you big time
- 24:35if you did. You've been a huge help on my
- 24:38other stories. I'm sure you'd do great.
- 24:43All right, let's get it done. Wait, if I help you out, you're
- 24:47going to give me credit as a co-author, correct?
- 24:50Who do I look like? David Baron?
- 24:52Yeah. I'd give you credit for your
- 24:54work credits, too. I have a small budget for things
- 24:58like this. Well then, we're good to go.
- 25:02Great. I had three interviewees in
- 25:04mind, Theresa Mason, the owner of Kay's house, Henrik Zuran at
- 25:08Apex Electronics and Nurse O'Shea from the Med Bay.
- 25:12You don't need to ask too many tough questions.
- 25:15I just want to read on how their businesses are doing and how
- 25:18things are in the well. I really can't thank you enough.
- 25:26So the well is basically that area I walked through that was
- 25:29all dirty and nasty looking. That's basically the ghetto
- 25:34where the poor people live, all the elitist and rich people live
- 25:39up top. On the surface, this the UC,
- 25:44they represent this entire area as civilization and
- 25:51sophistication and that they're all about utopian type of
- 25:55society. But when you dig deeper, as
- 26:04always, you find that shit ain't what it is being advertised as.
- 26:16Atlantis was originally built from the ground up.
- 26:19The ship crashed and human population lived underground and
- 26:24then they slowly worked their way up and all the rich people
- 26:29ended up taking the above ground status.
- 26:43Oh boy. But I have found in this game
- 26:49that looking for a job there's plenty of opportunities and ways
- 26:54to make money if you really wanted to get the hell out of
- 26:57the well. Why does it keep signing that
- 27:02over for? I've already spoken to him.
- 27:11Why is he? Oh, I see he wants me to.
- 27:18That's going to stay lit up until I do what he wants me to
- 27:23do. Is there a quest over there now?
- 27:36All of it seems to be over this way.
- 27:59That got the Constellation mission board.
- 28:02Oh yeah, I forgot to do that. Boy it looks rough today around
- 28:36here I think after I complete this.
- 28:46I love coming here, the last true explorers.
- 28:52Yep. Survey Andromedus 1
- 29:23Sure, I'll do that one later sometime.
- 29:31Surveying a planet. If you've got enough scanning on
- 29:35your ship, you can scan a majority of the planet, but you
- 29:42may end up having to go down and actually surveying the
- 29:47creatures, plants, that kind of shit.
- 29:51It's cool. We do what we can do.
- 29:58Anything I can make? Hey, that came out pretty good.
- 30:07Yeah, it's dead that it's just water, but sure, if that
- 30:11impresses you. Alien tea, cowboy.
- 30:21I like Cowboys. I don't mind.
- 30:23You're calling me that? Aw, dead.
- 30:36All right, so I got plenty of tea.
- 30:39What's up? Your father dropped by.
- 30:42He left a note for you here, OK? Stay safe, OK?
- 30:50Ever since I got here, this has felt like home.
- 30:53These people are family. I hope it feels that way for you
- 30:56too. I've only been here for a little
- 31:00bit and sure it'll do something for me eventually.
- 31:05See you later. All right, dump this into a
- 31:25thing upstairs magazines and such.
- 31:30I don't want to carry around a shit load of grenades.
- 32:13So my parents in the game are wanting to talk to me.
- 32:25I need to drop off some of this bullshit into my ship.
- 32:41There we go. I'm going to need to make a
- 32:55special stove in order to cook some of that harvested meat that
- 33:00I got from all that hunting. You can't cook it on a normal
- 33:04stove. My outfit must be heavy.
- 33:27I'm using up quite a percentage. Maybe get some sleep real quick.
- 33:39Bring up my health. What in the fuck?
- 33:49Oh darn, what's up with that shit?
- 33:56Sleep healing? Let's do it as normal.
- 34:00That's dumb food healing. I think I'm going to let that be
- 34:08normal. There we go.
- 34:36Now I'm going to go ahead and have some tea and I think I can.
- 34:48Actually, I think I can eat the coral meat and it won't harm me.
- 35:05OK, yeah, I'll just check. Yeah, that fed me like eating
- 35:13sushi. I don't know why they didn't
- 35:32make it to where I couldn't add stuff in the Lodge and then
- 35:38somebody will eventually make a mod where I can add stuff.
- 35:42I suppose. Let's see Deliverer's slate.
- 35:48I'm going to make it to where I only see what needs to be seen.
- 36:06Instead of all of it going everywhere.
- 36:10Oh yeah, you didn't get to see it, but I did.
- 36:15I did pay for a vehicle. So when I go on a planet, this
- 36:24man, I spent a good hour on that fucking the planet because I'm
- 36:29walking so slow I'm going to need to turn flashlight and I
- 36:36always see shit. Let me go in here real quick,
- 36:49pick up a few items. Yeah, I don't want that.
- 37:38Want 1 blue, one red. There we go.
- 38:32There we go. Let's do three of them.
- 38:50I'm going to get one of those for my friend.
- 39:15An earth necklace, dog tag for Robin.
- 39:22Red Stick artifact also going to get a mask.
- 39:44OK, we'll deal with you first because it's weird looking at
- 39:49the transgender and it looks like a chubby woman.
- 39:54And it's not actually, it's a guy.
- 39:58Sounds like a dude. I think I'm going to give them
- 40:20the beanie. Let's see how they look.
- 40:46Oh, that ain't gonna work. Well, that's odd.
- 41:10Oh, I know. What the hell is wrong.
- 41:12I need to give it some kind of apparel outfit or it's going to
- 41:23be walking around naked all the time.
- 41:27Give it that. I'm going to try this and this
- 41:43and see what it looks like. Let's see what this looks like.
- 41:59There we go. Yo, I was just thinking about
- 42:04you. Sure.
- 42:08See you soon. All right, It's a little bit
- 42:11better now that it's wearing the mask.
- 42:14They them or whatever. Now it'll, well, it'll work.
- 42:21It'll sound better. Now she's part of UC, so she
- 42:29needs blue like apparel. Since she's a pilot, I'm going
- 42:39to give her aviator shades dog tag.
- 43:01Fuck did I? OK I need to get the the little
- 43:18bitty ass Starborn character. I need that other the scoundrel
- 43:29outfit. You know what?
- 43:32I'm going to have them do that and then have Robin wear this.
- 43:38There we go. There we go.
- 43:43That that actually looks pretty cool.
- 43:47I like the way that sits on the person.
- 43:51All right, Robin. Yeah, she looks.
- 44:13She looks cool. Like the way that looks for now,
- 44:20until I find something better. All right, you know what?
- 44:27I think I ought to give this one the artifact necklace that makes
- 44:38more sense because it is a star born so that's what it would be
- 44:42interested in. I'll take the Earth 1 and I need
- 44:55a Mars necklace since Larry is from Mars.
- 45:00It's important for me to stay immersive, ladies and gentlemen.
- 45:04Call it OCD if you like just the way it is.
- 45:53I'm gonna give her. I'm gonna give her glasses,
- 46:01gloves, Mars. Good to see you.
- 46:33Anything exciting happening? You have anything interesting
- 46:45for me, Laria? Interesting, like what?
- 46:49Oh, I did add some fascinating rocks to my collection recently.
- 46:52Do you want to take a look? It's not what I meant.
- 46:58We'll spit it out, Captain. I'm not equipped with mind
- 47:00reading tech, you know. Well, it's a kind of tradition
- 47:07to give the captain a little something every now and then.
- 47:12Or it's about pulling our fines, you know, for the good of the
- 47:15mission. Huh.
- 47:17I'm just supposed to hand over stuff because why again?
- 47:22Think of it as sharing, or it's more about sharing discoveries
- 47:27we're A-Team after. Oh, sharing huh?
- 47:31Do you have anything interesting for me then?
- 47:37Not right now, although I did give her a bunch of clothes and
- 47:42my stuff. Any thoughts on that?
- 47:47All right, all right. So you scratch my back, I
- 47:48scratch yours, that kind of thing.
- 47:53Exactly got. It Captain, I'll keep my eyes
- 47:56sealed for anything that might make your day.
- 47:58Oh, just don't forget to return the favour now and then.
- 48:01Oh, and this one's for you. Just a little something to get
- 48:04the ball rolling. You know the companions and NPCS
- 48:10are pretty smart in the game, but I am waiting for the day
- 48:14that Bethesda or at least some gaming company could see
- 48:18intelligence of adding AI to their NPCS.
- 48:24Some modders have done it with Skyrim, where you can talk all
- 48:28day with characters and get to know them and talk about the
- 48:31landscape and life in general. That's what they need to do with
- 48:36Starfield, so it completely feels alive.
- 48:46All right, let me go ahead and get this marked on my map.
- 49:03No, I'm not feeling that bad. We have an appointment, you're
- 49:08seeing the doctor, that's it. I maybe some other time I have
- 49:13that report that's due. I talked to your boss.
- 49:17She agreed that you need to take care of yourself.
- 49:20I know it's tough, honey, but a lot of times there we go.
- 49:28I. Just wish they wouldn't keep us
- 49:31waiting so long. CJ is a good place to go if you
- 50:01want to pick up groceries. I'm trying to get stuff marked
- 50:22on my map while I'm walking. This is a great place to buy
- 50:27guns and weapons, ammo, that kind of shit.
- 50:31I usually normally don't have to buy anything like that though
- 50:38because once once I start getting to going in my game I
- 50:42start making a lot of money. Good old chunks.
- 50:51Let me see how much the drinks are.
- 50:53Welcome to chunks. Please choose your chunks.
- 50:58Chunks. I remember that's what we used
- 51:00to call puke back in the day. Oh man, I'm going to chunk.
- 51:05Great. What can I get for ya?
- 51:12Well, where's the drinks? That's what I'm looking for.
- 51:26Probably the cheapest. I'm going to get it till I bring
- 51:30my reputation up. Now we need it for drink.
- 51:41That's too bad they don't have a water fountain or something in
- 51:43here. OK, there's a quest I can
- 51:50complete in here and I know there's a new one.
- 51:54There's also a quest over here some of you may not know about
- 51:59because the game doesn't tell you where you can find shit.
- 52:04Like they don't have things above their head to let you
- 52:07know. But look at this.
- 52:10I feel like I've seen all there is to see, but hopefully I've
- 52:15left a few things for the next life.
- 52:20What brings you out here? Just enjoying the view.
- 52:25These days my favorite thing to do is sit and listen.
- 52:29The wind, the trees, they all have their own language.
- 52:35Sometimes they even sing. Tell me about your life.
- 52:43I'm close to 80 years old, so I will spare you the long version.
- 52:48To put it simply, I lived and I loved.
- 52:54And really, does a person need anything else?
- 53:00You forgot good food. Everyone needs that, of course.
- 53:04How can I forget? Maybe it's because I tried
- 53:08eating chunks the other day and nearly swore off food forever,
- 53:12but it was refreshing to know that even at my age I can still
- 53:16make very very bad mistakes. You have any advice for me?
- 53:26You don't need my advice. You're alive and you've survived
- 53:31everything that comes with that title.
- 53:35Which is to say, you are an achievement, a gift.
- 53:44Never forget that. She's a sweetheart.
- 53:50Would you like me to do anything for you?
- 53:52Oh, it just so happens I need a letter delivered to my pen pal
- 53:56in Cydonia. Pay is in advance. 1000 credits.
- 54:03In advance, sure, I'll help you out.
- 54:08Bless you child. I believe you'll find Hattie at
- 54:11the Community Center in Cydonia. Just hand her the letter, she'll
- 54:16know who it's from. Right.
- 54:21So when I make it to Mars, I got to deliver a message to
- 54:28somebody. Oh, once you get the quest,
- 54:34it'll tell you where to go to achieve it.
- 54:37But before that you got to talk to random people and sometimes
- 54:41they ask to do things. All of our signature.
- 54:50Dishes are unique to the roost. You won't find anything like
- 54:53them anywhere else. Hey there, I got a review you
- 54:58might be interested in written by one of the SN up and comers.
- 55:03I suppose I can spare a minute to read over this.
- 55:07What is this this this is? Good shit, right?
- 55:13What? Not in the slightest.
- 55:16We don't even sell half the foods he reviews in this
- 55:18article. Not to mention his palate is
- 55:20obviously unrefined. Well, you got your feedback for
- 55:25the Arthur. Grow some taste buds and a
- 55:29brain. Well, I'll tell him indeed.
- 55:43So you share my sentiments. I just don't understand why such
- 55:48a first class restaurant can be satisfied with serving second
- 55:51rate coffee. Of course, it could just be my
- 55:55palate. It's quite refined, which is
- 55:57both a blessing and curse. Well, where do you think you can
- 56:03find better coffee? Funny you should ask, I recently
- 56:07dined with a friend of mine with ties to the Freestyle Collective
- 56:11and he claims the best cup of Joe he's ever had was in a Kila
- 56:15city. Interesting.
- 56:19Yes, although I doubted him at first.
- 56:21But then he showed me the proof. In his hand was a single coffee
- 56:27bean fermented in the digestive tract of an alien beast.
- 56:38And let me guess, you want me to go get the shit for you?
- 56:41Yes, you would be replacing the man I hired.
- 56:44I had him seek not just Ashta but predators throughout the
- 56:48settled systems. But it seems after consuming the
- 56:52beans the beast decided to make a meal of him.
- 56:56So I need someone to find this beast and remove my property
- 57:00from its stomach. As for compensation, you'll
- 57:03receive 2000 credits when the job is complete.
- 57:09Well, I'll do it, but given that I'm a hunter, I've got a skill
- 57:14set, I think you're going to have to pay me a little bit
- 57:17more. Fine, fine, I probably should
- 57:20stick to professionals anyway given what happened the last
- 57:23time. You have yourself a deal.
- 57:25I'll have the coordinates sent to your ship.
- 57:30All right, we got a deal, I trust.
- 57:33You know the way out. Yeah, I know what the fuck I'm
- 57:36doing. Thanks.
- 57:40Oh, wait a second. Nah, I can't eat that food.
- 57:49It'll cause me trouble. All right, boy, those windows
- 58:00are crystal clear. It's hard to.
- 58:05All right, It's time to visit mom and Dad.
- 58:19Oh, there is one other thing too that you guys missed.
- 58:22Whenever I wasn't recording, I picked up the adoring fan.
- 58:27I like him. Other people bitch about him,
- 58:29but I think he's cool. What?
- 58:34Well, I'll be honey. We got ourselves a visitor.
- 58:38I'll get the coffee brewing. Oh my God, you about gave me a
- 58:44heart attack. Not that we're not thrilled to
- 58:46see you, son, but I, I thought you were under contract with
- 58:49Argos Extractors. Is everything all right?
- 58:56I really missed you guys. It hasn't been that long, has
- 58:59it? Honey, something's different.
- 59:03You seem more confident, more. I don't know.
- 59:09It's the eyes. You're right.
- 59:12Are you OK, son? I can't tell them that I died
- 59:17and returned to a different universe.
- 59:20They wouldn't be able to handle that.
- 59:28I'm fine. I went through so much and and
- 59:32I'm still standing. It hasn't been that long.
- 59:35I I don't understand. Please tell me everything's OK.
- 59:40What's going on? Did something happen on Vectora?
- 59:50I can't explain to you what I've been through, but I left Argos
- 59:54and I work for Constellation now.
- 59:56As long as you're OK, we're OK. But this news constellation for
- 1:00:02real. My child is a member of
- 1:00:05Constellation. I just knew you were special.
- 1:00:09Didn't I always say that? That you were meant for great
- 1:00:12things? Great things.
- 1:00:21Every mom says her kids special, but I guess you were right.
- 1:00:24Oh, say again, I should record that and play it back.
- 1:00:28Mom, you were right. Oh, but you didn't give me any
- 1:00:33notice. If I'd known, I'd have your
- 1:00:35favorite meal in the oven and your room is just a mess.
- 1:00:40Although that's how you left it. Easy honey, let the boy catch
- 1:00:44his breath. Why don't you settle in?
- 1:00:47You know, you're always welcome. I wish they would have done the
- 1:00:54genetic thing they did with Fallout 4, where it makes it
- 1:00:57look like your relation, your kid looks like you kind of
- 1:01:03thing. Because if they would have made
- 1:01:06the father look like me, then my dad looks a lot like me.
- 1:01:13That would have been cool. But yeah, my mother in real life
- 1:01:19has actually passed away. But it's cool.
- 1:01:22I like this game. It gives me the feeling that to.
- 1:01:25Watch tonight. In the multiverse, I'm AI mean
- 1:01:30I've got parents. Watch it sometime, but I want
- 1:01:33something light, upbeat. Well, I made a suggestion.
- 1:01:38Why don't you make one? I was thinking maybe muzzle in
- 1:01:44me. It's like.
- 1:01:46The kid movie. What?
- 1:01:49That little Oscar cracks me up. And it's just cute.
- 1:01:54It's funny. He.
- 1:01:56Never cease to amaze. Me.
- 1:02:03Well, I guess I'll talk to them a little bit more.
- 1:02:11Hey, Mama. I still can't get over you being
- 1:02:14here and it's not even Mother's Day.
- 1:02:17So I got to ask, is there anyone special in your life?
- 1:02:22With you being in constellation now, I imagine you are quite the
- 1:02:27catch. Think I might have found someone
- 1:02:31I knew. It you had that spring in your
- 1:02:34step, a mother knows. I won't press, dear.
- 1:02:37Don't worry. I know you didn't live in this
- 1:02:40apartment long, but I want you to consider this your home away
- 1:02:44from home. Your bed is always yours, no
- 1:02:47questions asked. I mean, well, I will ask
- 1:02:49questions, but you can stay here no matter the answers.
- 1:02:55I appreciate it. No bother at all, stay as long
- 1:02:59as you like. Anything you want to talk about,
- 1:03:02dear? What you doing these days?
- 1:03:07Now that we're both retired, you mean I I keep trying to push
- 1:03:11your father to do things. Dance lessons, vacation, take
- 1:03:15some courses. I'm really interested in early
- 1:03:18colonial art. But he's just happy as a clam,
- 1:03:22reading in his chair for hours, Wants to know the history of
- 1:03:25every little thing. It's nice to have time to do
- 1:03:29both, though. Talking with you has made my
- 1:03:33day. I'm being.
- 1:03:35Serious. Oh, Mama.
- 1:03:39Bear, where's the tissue paper? You don't know where that is.
- 1:03:46I knew where it was, top shelf of the pantry, but it's not
- 1:03:50there anymore. No, I moved them to the bottom
- 1:03:54shelf ages ago. How do you expect me to know
- 1:03:58where anything is if you keep moving them all the time?
- 1:04:01You should pay attention. Oh boy.
- 1:04:09Hey, Dad, what's up? I still can't believe it.
- 1:04:13Constellation. The stories make them seem so
- 1:04:16exotic, so, well, romantic almost.
- 1:04:20How is it for real? You liking it?
- 1:04:31I'm still wrapping my head around being invited to join,
- 1:04:34honestly. It's funny how you can live
- 1:04:36years where the days all blend together but then out of the
- 1:04:40blue, whammo, everything's different.
- 1:04:42I've got some news of my own. You are now officially looking
- 1:04:46at a retiree. Taught my final class last
- 1:04:49Thursday. The faculty threw me a party and
- 1:04:51everything. It's too bad you weren't here
- 1:04:53then. Could have had some cake.
- 1:04:57Well, congratulations, Dad. I gave it my good old college
- 1:05:01try. You see what I did there?
- 1:05:04Enough about that. Anything you want to talk about
- 1:05:07before you have to go? I mean, stay.
- 1:05:10Stay as long as you like, but I imagine you're all excited to
- 1:05:14get to discovering. How are things going?
- 1:05:20Retirement's treating me well, but there are some days I almost
- 1:05:24missed the classroom. Don't say anything to your mom
- 1:05:27about this, but she got some work done at Enhance.
- 1:05:31She keeps looking younger every day, I tell her.
- 1:05:34Not that I mind. You guys need anything?
- 1:05:38You know it's supposed to be us taking care of you, right?
- 1:05:45I'd like to say we'll pay you back the money you sent home.
- 1:05:49Well, I appreciate it. We appreciate it more than you
- 1:05:53know. I think kids should take care of
- 1:05:58their parents if their parents took care of them.
- 1:06:02You got any plans? Planning a proper, honest to
- 1:06:06goodness vacation. Nothing too fancy.
- 1:06:09I've been promising your mom a trip for years, and I got no
- 1:06:12excuses. Now your mother's been sending
- 1:06:14me links all day about such and such deals and excursions, but
- 1:06:20it'll be good to get out. Stay as long as you like.
- 1:06:27I'll question him one more time since you.
- 1:06:29Came How are you doing? You eating well out there?
- 1:06:34It's easy just to survive off well garbage when you're
- 1:06:38shipbound all the time. Nothing like your famous nachos
- 1:06:44dad. Well, I do what I can.
- 1:06:48You remember Grandpa's restaurant last time you were
- 1:06:51there? You must have been 5/8 some of
- 1:06:55the best food in the Galaxy. Service with a grunt and a
- 1:06:59glare. I always said.
- 1:07:01But Dad's food kept them coming back.
- 1:07:07His food was incredible. You could never tell looking at
- 1:07:10it from the outside. Yeah, I don't think I I'll put
- 1:07:18that. Hole in the walls have the best
- 1:07:20food. That's just science.
- 1:07:22Your grandfather taught me what I know of cooking.
- 1:07:26He didn't want me to go to uni. I was the only one interested in
- 1:07:29the restaurant. But when he got on in the years,
- 1:07:32he trusted me with something sacred.
- 1:07:35His meatloaf recipe? Well, you going to make some for
- 1:07:43us tonight? No, I'm not something better.
- 1:07:48I don't know if anything I taught you about cooking stuck,
- 1:07:51but I figure it's time to pass the torch.
- 1:07:55But you got to promise not to share grandpa's meatloaf recipe
- 1:07:58with anyone. It stays in the family.
- 1:08:01I swear Dad's ghost would come back and strike me dead if you
- 1:08:04did that. I solemnly promise to guard that
- 1:08:10secret with my life. See that you do?
- 1:08:14Any meat will do if it's dry. Extra tomatoes, they'll moisten
- 1:08:19it up if you do it right. Sorry, bit of a moment here.
- 1:08:24So you want to talk about anything?
- 1:08:30Nah. It's good to have you home.
- 1:08:34Nice to see you, son. Tell me, are you doing well?
- 1:08:38And none of that? I'm fine, Dad.
- 1:08:42Really. Answer.
- 1:08:43How are you? Having a time in my life.
- 1:08:48I envy you, truly. When you find your calling, it
- 1:08:53can be deeply fulfilling, all your adventures.
- 1:08:57There are so many it's dizzying to keep track of.
- 1:09:01It worries your mother that one day you might take on more than
- 1:09:04you can deal with. Is it worth it, All that risk
- 1:09:08and danger? Well, I'm making a difference,
- 1:09:13Dad. It most certainly does.
- 1:09:16I got some years on you. My guiding star has always been
- 1:09:20find something you believe in and fight for it.
- 1:09:24For me, it's you and your mother.
- 1:09:27Every time big life decisions came up, that's what made it
- 1:09:31easy. What would be best for all of
- 1:09:33us? If you can strip away everything
- 1:09:36and answer that one question, well, it helped me.
- 1:09:42Good talk, Dad. Thanks.
- 1:09:44It's what I'm here for. It's nice to have you home.
- 1:09:51Take care, kiddo. Let's see if there's any more.
- 1:09:57Take care, kiddo. Talk to the mom.
- 1:10:00Character sounds magical, like a storybook.
- 1:10:06You're welcome anytime, and I mean anytime.
- 1:10:18Thanks. All right, let's see what else
- 1:10:21we can do. Return to Tommy.
- 1:11:12The. News never sleeps.
- 1:11:20I delivered all your slates in the report.
- 1:11:24Hell yes. OK, I'm dying to know.
- 1:11:26What did everyone say? Let me guess, they were all
- 1:11:29amazed. Well, they thought it fucking
- 1:11:39blew goat balls. Sorry.
- 1:11:42What? I can't believe it.
- 1:11:46That can't be right. Well, I guess you can't please
- 1:11:48everyone. I can't let this bring me down.
- 1:11:51You got this, Tommy. You got this.
- 1:11:53Anyways, thanks for all you did for me today.
- 1:11:56I really appreciate it. See you around.
- 1:12:22I'm going to hold off for a moment for that.
- 1:12:25I want to. I'm wanting to build something
- 1:12:30inside my ship real quick. It's very important.
- 1:12:39There's O Vasco waiting outside. I like the way he stands
- 1:12:44outside. I wish somebody would make a mod
- 1:12:46where you can choose for people to be standing outside the ship
- 1:12:52to protect it whenever you're out on a planet or something.
- 1:13:18Uh oh, fucking wagon. There we go.
- 1:13:30I'm eventually going to want one of these.
- 1:13:32This is a mod called Copycat. What it does is you can put an
- 1:13:36item in it and it copies it. A wall mount.
- 1:14:00So that's what I'm wanting. So I need 2 aluminium, 1 calm
- 1:14:06relay, and a gold. Let's go ahead and track that
- 1:14:12shit. Oops.
- 1:14:18How do I do that? I forget how to track something
- 1:14:32Lt. Or is it the metal button?
- 1:14:48That's Rhodes. Oh, there we go.
- 1:14:52Why the fuck was I looking at that for me?
- 1:15:02See if we got the resources here.
- 1:15:06That's my doctor. OK, need some aluminum?
- 1:15:38Need some calm relays? Shit, those are expensive.
- 1:15:48Need some gold? I should have what is needed in
- 1:16:11order to do this soon. Go
- 1:16:27ahead and dump this and I should be able to do that.
- 1:16:37I need to grab the shit out of my captain's locker as well.
- 1:16:51I'm going to eventually give her something a little warmer.
- 1:16:56Let's see if I got something. Give her a hat too,
- 1:17:54and looks kind of. I'll find something for her
- 1:17:59later. I see Moon walking.
- 1:18:05OK, now whatever. Oh, I know where I can set it
- 1:18:25and it'll look cool. There we go.
- 1:18:36Yeah, it's perfect. God, I want to go do some
- 1:19:00combat. I want to do the slight thing
- 1:19:03that we were talking about. It's in the same solar system so
- 1:19:10I don't have to waste much gas doing it.
- 1:19:31All right, let's go to it. Oh, I think I got to sit in my
- 1:19:38pilot's seat in order to make this happen.
- 1:19:45Yeah, I got to be sitting down in my ship's seat in order to do
- 1:19:50some of this. This is going to be fun.
- 1:20:07Cut them out. With some very fast information.
- 1:20:30Idiots. Oh, ships feel good.
- 1:20:40And some ship parts. I think there's a lot of goodies
- 1:20:45around here. Trader Atlas, let me see how
- 1:21:10these people are doing real quick.
- 1:21:12I'm going to hail them. Trade authority at your service.
- 1:21:16Looking for something? Heard anything interesting?
- 1:21:23Allegedly there were some varoon zealots in the area not long
- 1:21:26back. Hope they're gone for good.
- 1:21:29Those snake worshippers make my skin crawl.
- 1:21:39Let's trade I've. Got some cargo that could use a
- 1:21:41good home? A new home.
- 1:21:45I like that. Well, I think I'll, yeah, go
- 1:22:20ahead and sell that. I'll keep the Navy hat fucked.
- 1:22:37I forgot to drop that shit off me.
- 1:23:24I'm going to attempt to create the cooking mechanism we were
- 1:23:28talking about. I'm going to put that right
- 1:23:59there so I can dump shit into it.
- 1:24:15OK, so. Crafting I get a couple
- 1:24:36plutoniums I could make a copy cap machine, botany table,
- 1:24:57a fully equipped food processor meant for get the fuck out of my
- 1:25:01face. OK.
- 1:25:33I need some aluminum in order to do that.
- 1:26:17Yeah, it's so bulky. Wonder if that I could put this
- 1:26:29in my kitchen. Let's see if I can get it to
- 1:26:56work. Says it's obstructed.
- 1:27:42I have a table up here. Let me go see if I got some room
- 1:28:24in my kitchen for this. I hope so.
- 1:28:33Don't want to put it right in front of the damn dishes.
- 1:28:55Well, we can set it here momentarily.
- 1:28:59Hopefully it'll work. Where the fuck are the tables?
- 1:29:45What in the hell? Where's my tables at?
- 1:29:48OK, yeah, I can probably sit it on that shit.
- 1:30:08Not a whole lot of room in there, all right?
- 1:30:30I hope this works, if not I'm gonna be pissed.
- 1:30:32I'll have to use something else. Ah fuck, annoying.
- 1:31:07I'll have to make one of those counter things, but uh,
- 1:31:16hopefully I'll get my pieces back.
- 1:32:20Let's see if I can put that in my kitchen.
- 1:32:22I think I got 1 little spot I could put it.
- 1:32:25It's not right in the damn way of everything.
- 1:32:32Oh man, that sucks. Yeah, it's going to be in the
- 1:32:44fucking way of stuff. Those plants are in the way.
- 1:32:54All right. I guess this is what we're going
- 1:32:56to have to go with. Hopefully it'll make it.
- 1:33:00This is something I can use to create everything I need.
- 1:33:21You know I got a. Secret compartment.
- 1:33:24I filled it with snacks. Sweet.
- 1:33:35Chocolate pudding? Yeah.
- 1:33:42What'd you make? Did I see chocolate pudding?
- 1:33:49Fucker. Sliced meat.
- 1:34:00Oh wait, I wouldn't be able to. Burger.
- 1:34:17Oh man, I need all that other bullshit more to do it.
- 1:34:32Well, let's slice meat. See what we can do with that.
- 1:35:02That's too bad. It restores health, but it
- 1:35:05doesn't do shit for you whenever you need to eat.
- 1:35:10It's too bad. Oh, the pudding works.
- 1:35:29One hour of being fed. I can make sandwiches once I get
- 1:35:40bread. Essential story.
- 1:36:02Wait a second, what's the orders?
- 1:36:04I didn't, I didn't read that before.
- 1:36:08Might be a quest. Only one way to find out.
- 1:36:17You'll find the schematics in the RND director's office you're
- 1:36:21looking for. OK, well, let's go get that
- 1:36:36man's slate. That scientist, his space
- 1:36:42station was attacked. You can see some of the remnants
- 1:36:46out there. Let's go to it.
- 1:37:11I'm gonna slow down. Don't want to run into the
- 1:37:15station so you don't crash them. Do fucking things.
- 1:37:26Try to go under it. Stop.
- 1:37:39Locked in. All right, let's board.
- 1:37:43I think I'm going to take Vast towards me too.
- 1:37:51Join my team, pick up a bunch of goodies.
- 1:38:28I need to dump some of these into my cargo.
- 1:38:40Should have done it while I was on the ship.
- 1:39:05There we go. All right, medic uniform, I'll
- 1:39:28take that and sell that shit. All right, here's what we're
- 1:39:34going to do. I'm going to send my followers
- 1:39:37to look around. Scout head.
- 1:39:50Go ahead, see what you can find. I don't like we found something.
- 1:40:08Damn it. My flash lighting very bright, I
- 1:40:10thought. That up is my good need for the
- 1:40:15day. Warren guys come in there and
- 1:40:20make the mess. I hope I adequately assisted you
- 1:40:36during combat. It already.
- 1:40:52Well, it doesn't show any red on my compass.
- 1:40:54They must have succeeded. Finder's keepers, right?
- 1:41:11Let me hook her up real quick because I got AUC outfit rather
- 1:41:16her wear that. Oh shit, what was that?
- 1:41:22Did I accidentally pick up contraband?
- 1:41:26Let's see. There we go.
- 1:42:18Yeah, Now she looks like an actual soldier.
- 1:42:21That's good. You wanted.
- 1:42:25Yeah, that's a lot of blood. The fucking broom.
- 1:43:04What's this? We got Yeah, I'll be selling all
- 1:43:56the clothes stuff. OK, I'm going to take the
- 1:44:06Falkland baseball cap. There we go I'll probably if I
- 1:44:18find some different outfit where I'll change it around.
- 1:44:22Well, let's look around girls and boys.
- 1:44:33Boy, I got rid of whatever problems were in here, that's
- 1:44:36for sure. See if there's anything over
- 1:44:40here to. Hold on a second, I thought I
- 1:45:13had it to where? No, I'm not going to set that to
- 1:45:35iron. All right, let's go looking
- 1:45:54around. I'm going to go upstairs and
- 1:46:01look around before we go into another room, see if there's any
- 1:46:06toys. Got some tools we got here.
- 1:46:13Oh, some cereal. Got some bodies up here.
- 1:46:31What's what's he got on him? That's a pretty cool coat.
- 1:46:39I just sell that shit. Oh, my handcuffs.
- 1:46:44I'll need that if I want to arrest people.
- 1:46:47Oh, what'd you get? Anything shiny?
- 1:46:56OK. Oh nice, I can give that helmet
- 1:47:13over to. Where's Where's Robin now?
- 1:47:57Whoa, Nothing back here, Robin, This is where we were at.
- 1:48:12Or is it? No, it just looks the same.
- 1:48:19It's not the same deal. All right, let's go explore the
- 1:48:24rest of this place. All right, supposedly they can't
- 1:49:15hurt me with a weapon now, so I'm going to give her a grenade
- 1:49:21so she can take out an asshole after asshole.
- 1:49:26He is military so makes sense for her to have a grenade.
- 1:49:39Beginning combat protocol. Whoa there, catch.
- 1:49:59That's how you do it. Damn, there's a lot of bad guys
- 1:50:07over there. You have picked up too much
- 1:50:10matter and become over encumbered.
- 1:50:13Yeah, I'll take care of that. I'm going to get your ass out
- 1:50:16there and help out the ladies. Oh yeah.
- 1:50:19We get up this maybe. They're just shy come a.
- 1:50:31Girl, that's the end of that chapter.
- 1:50:32Let. Me, tell them the scout ahead.
- 1:51:04Sounds like they made some friends.
- 1:52:04Like there's still some pricks in the area that's up dumbass
- 1:52:08clean. That up nicely.
- 1:52:24Got a hot 1 coming your way buddy?
- 1:52:28Down Lego. Seal it.
- 1:52:39I don't think I've ever seen that before.
- 1:52:58Creature jam. Those are still some pricks over
- 1:53:09that way. Oof, got to be careful.
- 1:53:13There's some explosives. Lot of money on that bitch.
- 1:53:24Good. Lost sight of target.
- 1:54:04Whoa. Frag out.
- 1:54:26You know, based on this, I'm pretty sure we can take you now
- 1:54:32in the clear. Nice shooting, cowboy.
- 1:54:37What I do? OK,
- 1:55:11an expensive ass suit.
- 1:55:56I can sell that, make some bread.
- 1:56:16I'm going to activate my resources.
- 1:56:43There we go. Fine,
- 1:57:25now that's what we'll do in manufacture.
- 1:57:28They'll go to the ship, there we go, turn it back on and
- 1:57:44make sure it works. Oh, person shooting at me.
- 1:58:21Do you see her? Damn.
- 1:58:27Oh, she got a hold of a better gun.
- 1:58:31Nice. Hammer backpacks hover and that
- 1:58:39looks like shit. I don't like that.
- 1:59:16Anything useful? Remote door?
- 1:59:30No, I'm not going to open the fucking doors.
- 1:59:33I think he said that there was a bunch of creatures in this place
- 1:59:37that he was studying. We don't want to open that
- 1:59:40fucking nonsense up. We got ourselves killed.
- 2:00:11Nothing special. Let's dump some of the shit I've
- 2:00:15picked up so far. Oh fuck, why did I pick that up?
- 2:00:31Yeah, and make some good money off
- 2:00:48that noise. I think I'm going to give her
- 2:01:19the space. Nah, she's already got her
- 2:01:25special equipment. Let's see, you've got something
- 2:01:50in here. Creature jam, huh?
- 2:02:04That's 90 minutes. Keep me fed.
- 2:02:15Yeah, I don't like that kind of selling in case I get sick.
- 2:02:32Ramen noodle, I guess. Got to keep bandages.
- 2:02:59Let's go ahead and save time to eat.
- 2:03:19I. Have one of these more school
- 2:03:27see. Go down
- 2:03:53here and look around, make sure there's no fucking idiots around
- 2:04:02here. Damn, Why would they come in and
- 2:04:20kill a bunch of fucking scientists?
- 2:04:23That's not nice. Use that shit for crafting.
- 2:04:54Don't 1 harvested organs Nice. Take care of my thirst muscle.
- 2:05:28Muscle. Another one bites the dust.
- 2:05:34Bucked around, found out that in the bank.
- 2:05:55OK, let's take that, uh, grenade away from you 'cause that looked
- 2:06:01seemed like that hurt whenever you threw it.
- 2:06:39Oh man, we got a bunch of body parts.
- 2:07:24No, yeah, I don't want to give them
- 2:07:45any of that shit. A modded weapons I'm not immune
- 2:07:55to, but they use vanilla weapons that won't hurt me.
- 2:07:59I can't give them any of my fancy grenades.
- 2:08:03They're fucking destroying me. I think unfortunately the
- 2:08:08Audrey's got isn't set. The I think your supernova
- 2:08:15powers can hurt me so I got to be careful.
- 2:08:30Where is the shit they want me to find?
- 2:08:39What's this? Where we go?
- 2:08:45Yeah, good. The robots have come out and if
- 2:09:04there is any assholes left, they're going to.
- 2:09:07They're not going to like their new friends to play with.
- 2:09:45Your insistence on carrying so many things is reducing our
- 2:09:48travel speed. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:09:51If I can get it to where at all. And we'll go to me food.
- 2:10:06We'll go and shut. Why didn't it?
- 2:10:08Uh oh, let's go to containers. It's where
- 2:10:33quarters usually always. Up.
- 2:11:14Sounds like we got a fucker still alive around here.
- 2:11:22Sounded like it was coming from that direction.
- 2:11:59Let's see what's going on there. I make a lot of money once I get
- 2:12:25back to my. None.
- 2:13:40All right, got enough toys out of this place and I got the
- 2:13:47slate. OK, so they want me to get to my
- 2:15:07ship and that's what we'll do. And normally in the vanilla game
- 2:15:21you can load anywhere you want, but I wanted the game to be
- 2:15:25immersive, so I got it set to where, you know, you got to
- 2:15:30actually be in the pilot's seat in order to be able to to where
- 2:15:35you're going. OK, support the ship, undock.
- 2:15:52We're attached. Ready that out.
- 2:15:54I wonder if the tip is still out there.
- 2:16:02That's my buddy, the Star born Guardian.
- 2:16:13Hey, the trader Atlas is still out here.
- 2:16:17Have a tight itinerary today, so I'd ask you to keep haggling to
- 2:16:21a minimum. Sure.
- 2:16:24Well, why didn't you say so? Got some goodies for you lady?
- 2:16:38Oh goodness. You got 100 bucks left into this
- 2:17:11and give you sellers from rivets.
- 2:17:29OK. Knew this woman who worked
- 2:17:35graveyard shift for Hope Tech, the shipbuilder said.
- 2:17:38They're serious taskmasters. Guess you'll get that successful
- 2:17:42by being inefficient. Sure, sure.
- 2:17:48All right, let's get back to where we need to go.
- 2:18:18Oh boy, I'll talk to these people.
- 2:18:34I'm here and I'll go turn it in. No loitering, OK?
- 2:18:40I don't have the patience for it.
- 2:18:43I'm with the reporters. I like to ask you some
- 2:18:46questions. A reporter, fine, but I'm only
- 2:18:51talking basics. I don't like people snooping
- 2:18:54around my business. How are things going at your
- 2:18:59business? The door's still open, isn't it?
- 2:19:02That's my idea of success. Sorry if you were hoping for
- 2:19:06something more flowery. Yeah, that's nice.
- 2:19:11I think you this is enough to go on.
- 2:19:14Great, now why don't you help me out and buy something?
- 2:19:17I scratch your back, you scratch mine.
- 2:19:22Can't say I'll have what you need, but you're welcome to
- 2:19:24look. Sure, you got it.
- 2:19:29Now all of a sudden he's acting nicer.
- 2:19:34All right, let's sell him some. There we go.
- 2:19:53Selling about 84 bucks for time. There you go, pal.
- 2:20:06So it's safe out there, right? Right.
- 2:20:12Don't mind me, just a weary man resting his feet.
- 2:20:19Slow day, huh? Maybe a little, but that's not
- 2:20:23such a bad thing, is it? Better than all the noise and
- 2:20:27attention topside, if you ask me.
- 2:20:31What'd you do here, guy? Oh, Henrique is an old friend of
- 2:20:36mine. I help out around here from time
- 2:20:39to time, but I don't just loiter around.
- 2:20:43I'm involved in my own business endeavor as well.
- 2:20:49Well, what kind of business we talking?
- 2:20:52Unfortunately I'm quite old fashioned.
- 2:20:56I only deal with associates that I know and trust.
- 2:21:01But if you do a. Small favor for me, I might feel
- 2:21:06comfortable opening my business up to you.
- 2:21:09All you need to do is pick up a package from Red Mile and
- 2:21:14deliver it to me. You don't even need to interact
- 2:21:18with anyone. Sure, I'll take care of that for
- 2:21:26you. Fantastic.
- 2:21:28I eagerly await your return. Stay out of trouble.
- 2:21:35I'll see what I can do on that. Let's see what we got.
- 2:21:45We'll go sell some shit. Hey there, guy.
- 2:21:57Happy to make a deal you need. Stuff I need credits, it all
- 2:22:01works out. Cool, we'll see what you got.
- 2:22:05Take your time. I got all day.
- 2:22:09Nice, sell some Christmas nasty shit I picked up.
- 2:22:27There's those body parts, that's all that shit to him.
- 2:22:38Oh, that's a cool looking outfit.
- 2:22:42I don't like that fucking ugly yellow scarf though.
- 2:22:46Oh that is cool, I like that. I didn't know that I picked that
- 2:22:53out. I'm selling some broom shit.
- 2:23:12Oh, I must. I think I sold the bodies off
- 2:23:15the body parts off to that ship. Oh, man, my gut's hurt.
- 2:23:31OK, so for me, you know, there we go, how you like living
- 2:24:03in a well. Lot of people will tell you it's
- 2:24:05the worst, one step above being homeless.
- 2:24:08They'll whine about how Fox topside had it so much better.
- 2:24:13Me, I like. It.
- 2:24:16It's more real down here. Topside, everyone's trying to
- 2:24:20show how civilized and rich they are.
- 2:24:23It's exhausting. But they do each their own, you
- 2:24:30see, Have a lot of surplus. Look around you tell me.
- 2:24:35You see, it's a big organization.
- 2:24:37Lot of planets, lot of people. Oh, lot to.
- 2:24:40Keep track of. Sometimes they don't do such a.
- 2:24:43Good job of that. Sometimes stuff falls.
- 2:24:47Through the cracks winds up collecting dust in some
- 2:24:51warehouse, but. That's all right.
- 2:24:54Because I and. By extension, you get to
- 2:24:58benefit. I make great deals on stuff in
- 2:25:01bulk. You get some low.
- 2:25:02Prices. Everyone wins.
- 2:25:06Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, man.
- 2:25:09See you all. Right, take it easy.
- 2:25:17Just be patient. Hey, Kate.
- 2:25:38Always. Nice to see your first face
- 2:25:40around here. You stop in whenever you'd like.
- 2:25:46Thanks you up to your baby doll. Everyone's welcome so long as
- 2:25:53you keep your hands to yourself. Understand they're causing
- 2:25:58trouble in here. Are you sure what story on this
- 2:26:05place? Nah, I'm with the SSNN.
- 2:26:09I'd like to ask you some questions about your business.
- 2:26:11Absolutely. I'm sure my mom would be proud
- 2:26:14to have the place featured in an article.
- 2:26:16What's up? Like to know how things have
- 2:26:20been lately? Business as steady as usual.
- 2:26:24We don't tolerate violence or disrespect, so a lot of folks
- 2:26:27like to spend time here. The only thing that's worrying
- 2:26:30me is a new group of customers I've seen hanging around lately.
- 2:26:34They've been watching the UC surplus store pretty closely.
- 2:26:37I have a bad feeling they might be planning something.
- 2:26:41Kay's house has a reputation as a safe place.
- 2:26:44I don't want to be associated with that kind of thing.
- 2:26:45Hold. On I'd be happy to look into it
- 2:26:51for you. Honestly, I'd really appreciate
- 2:26:54that. I'd feel terrible if something
- 2:26:56happened and I haven't done anything to try to stop it.
- 2:26:59Why don't you come by when you have some spare time and we'll
- 2:27:02talk it out? Think this should be enough to
- 2:27:06go on? Great.
- 2:27:07Let me know when the article comes out, will you?
- 2:27:10I'd like to read it. No shortage of hungry mouths to
- 2:27:15feed around here. Keeps us on our toes, nothing
- 2:27:19else. The shit you were talking about
- 2:27:22earlier about suspicious customers.
- 2:27:25Would you? I'd really appreciate it.
- 2:27:28I saw them hanging around the UC surplus earlier today.
- 2:27:31They sure looked suspicious to me.
- 2:27:37That makes you think you're up to something.
- 2:27:39They've been coming here regularly for the last couple
- 2:27:41weeks and all they do is sit on the balcony and watch the UC
- 2:27:44surplus. I thought I heard them mention a
- 2:27:47robbery but I'm not sure. They seem to know I'm on to them
- 2:27:51so they stop talking about it when I'm around I'll.
- 2:28:00Head straight to security office and report them.
- 2:28:03I'd rather you didn't. I want to make sure I'm right
- 2:28:05about this before we go to security, but I have to be sure
- 2:28:09they're up to something before I get the authorities involved.
- 2:28:11I don't want to get anyone on security's bad side for no
- 2:28:14reason. Why don't you do a little
- 2:28:16sleuthing for me? Maybe you'll have better luck
- 2:28:19eavesdropping on them than I did.
- 2:28:21We can decide what to do once we figure out if they're really up
- 2:28:23to something. All right, go do that shit.
- 2:28:28Then told me it was over here somewhere.
- 2:28:33Oh, Isaac, this is. A tough choice to crack.
- 2:28:42It's just what they want you to think, Louie.
- 2:28:46You see, you see security around here.
- 2:28:50No, but. But nothing I say we strike
- 2:28:55while the ion's hot that great two shows in case place is going
- 2:29:00to rat us out that time since she was giving us some serious
- 2:29:03side on the last time we. Were in there, see.
- 2:29:07No time like the present. Do it tonight.
- 2:29:09We'll be fine, trust me. We'll.
- 2:29:13Be in and out in time to make last call at Jake's.
- 2:29:16Rick's info is good so. It'll be a piece.
- 2:29:19Of all right, let go. Anybody else dressed forward it
- 2:29:23to her, let her know they're definitely planning on doing a
- 2:29:27robbery? Where the fuck did she at?
- 2:29:33Hey, baby. If you haven't, make sure you
- 2:29:36say hello to Mama. She likes checking in with
- 2:29:39everyone. I did.
- 2:29:41I also found out those fucking cock suckers are wanting to rob
- 2:29:45I. Am I Was hoping I had it wrong.
- 2:29:50I guess that settles it. We have to get the authorities
- 2:29:53involved before they can go through with the robbery.
- 2:29:56You should take this straight to Officer Endler at the security
- 2:29:58office. You'll look into it.
- 2:30:00If he gives you a hard time, tell him I sent you to make the
- 2:30:02report. That'll get him on your side.
- 2:30:06Gotcha. Understood.
- 2:30:08Thanks. Let me know when you've made the
- 2:30:10report. OK, Yep, let's go to the police.
- 2:30:17That's the fucking assholes. You plan on committing some
- 2:30:20crimes? All righty, security office.
- 2:30:28All right, What's going on there, mang?
- 2:30:35By the way, Sergeant Yumi was looking for you.
- 2:30:39Apparently he's got some work. What in the fuck is wrong with
- 2:30:44your voice Dude? I came here to report a crime.
- 2:30:50Well, that's what we're here for.
- 2:30:52What's going on? There's going to be a robbery at
- 2:30:57the UC Surplus. The UC surplus?
- 2:31:00You sure about that? It's been a long time since
- 2:31:04someone was stupid enough to rob that place.
- 2:31:08Teresa Mason asked me to make the report.
- 2:31:10I'm sure that's all. Nobody in the well is more
- 2:31:15reliable than Teresa. If she says there's a problem, I
- 2:31:18believe it. You could tell her I'm
- 2:31:20personally looking into it. That's your ease of mine.
- 2:31:23Those thieves won't be so cocky with security on patrol.
- 2:31:29All right, man. See you here.
- 2:31:37Where's that motherfucker at? Hayes House.
- 2:31:51That was quick. How'd things go with Officer
- 2:31:53Handler? He said to tell you he's going
- 2:31:59to go patrol the area himself. I knew I could count on him, he
- 2:32:03always handles this kind of thing fairly.
- 2:32:06Thanks for your help with this. I feel a lot better knowing
- 2:32:09securities on patrol down there. Yep, let's see what's going.
- 2:32:14On here all righty what can I get you?
- 2:32:20Let's see, that's pop cola. That's orange shit cola.
- 2:32:30That's a mod by the way. It's Fallout assets that are put
- 2:32:36into the game of Starfield. I like it, works for me.
- 2:32:41I already picked up a lot of food already from the other
- 2:32:48place I was at. All right here once you big old
- 2:32:57fucker. Once you go do something else,
- 2:33:00go back to the ship. I have no objections.
- 2:33:22What's up? I've got limited resources, I
- 2:33:25try not to turn anyone away just because they're light on
- 2:33:27credits. I'm with the SSNN.
- 2:33:34I'd like to ask you some questions about what you run in
- 2:33:38here. A journalist?
- 2:33:41That's a surprise. Most people don't think anything
- 2:33:43that goes on in the well is worth writing about.
- 2:33:46I'd be happy to help if I can. To have things going in the Med
- 2:33:55Bay. Things are always rough at the
- 2:33:57Med Bay. I'm the closest thing to a
- 2:33:59doctor that the well has, and I can't treat everyone.
- 2:34:03The last few weeks have been especially bad.
- 2:34:05There's some kind of infection going around and a lot of kids
- 2:34:09down here are catching it. It just breaks my heart to see.
- 2:34:14Pretty happy to help you out with all that.
- 2:34:17Oh, we're sweet to offer. There might be something you can
- 2:34:20do if you're willing. Let's chat again when you have
- 2:34:23some time to spare. All right?
- 2:34:24I. Think that's enough to go on?
- 2:34:29All right, dear, you let me know if there's anything else I can
- 2:34:31do for you. We're doing the best we can
- 2:34:35here. That's all we can ever do.
- 2:34:38You said something about sick children in the clinic.
- 2:34:42Oh, you remembered I'm touched, dear.
- 2:34:44Really. Yes, there is absolutely
- 2:34:47something you can do to help. All the children seem to have
- 2:34:50the same stomach bug, but I'm having trouble diagnosing it.
- 2:34:54Pediatrics isn't my specialty, but one of my colleagues, Dr.
- 2:34:58Lebedev, is an expert. If I had his research notes, I'm
- 2:35:02sure I could diagnose the disease and find the treatment.
- 2:35:08I'll go talk to him about it. Thank you so much, I really
- 2:35:13appreciate it. I'd go myself, but I can't leave
- 2:35:15the Med Bay unattended. Well, I'm going to go turn in
- 2:35:36that slate and then go talk to the doctor up top.
- 2:35:47Hopefully this doesn't freeze. This is a little tricky on this
- 2:35:50elevator. Take a moment.
- 2:36:13Uh oh, I don't know. We're having some sound clipping
- 2:36:20issues you don't want. Come on, I fucking hate this.
- 2:36:31I don't know why it does this, but this specific elevator in
- 2:36:35Atlanta seems to have an issue for me.
- 2:36:38I might have to close out and come back in.
- 2:36:48See, that's why you fucking save, especially before you go
- 2:36:51through a major load area. That's bullshit, all right?
- 2:36:57And I count to 10109876543, all right, So we're going to have to
- 2:37:09look out of this shit. We have to.
- 2:37:20Quit the game. All right, let me take a moment
- 2:37:27to fucking load. Try again after a little while.
- 2:37:35Yeah, the city gets more and more lag here, but I like to try
- 2:37:43to do everything within the cities before going out and
- 2:37:47doing shit and getting all kinds of money and credibility with
- 2:37:52the people, the citizens and stuff.
- 2:38:01A lot of benefits of getting credit with the people.
- 2:38:05You can get cheaper prices and shit, sell for more, that kind
- 2:38:10of thing. Yeah, it's weird.
- 2:38:28Going down into the well doesn't seem to be an issue, but coming
- 2:38:32up out of the well into the gnat area, it's, it's fucking rough.
- 2:38:38So hopefully we won't crash again 'cause I don't want to
- 2:38:42have to go all the way around the area.
- 2:38:46I really want to play immersively where I walk or
- 2:38:50drive to the places I need to go instead of like fast traveling
- 2:38:54everywhere. But if the game's gonna fuck me
- 2:38:57over, then, you know, play the bullshit way.
- 2:39:09Uh, are you wanting to watch the show?
- 2:39:13OK, uh, I've been playing for a long time and streaming.
- 2:39:22Think I could take a break and then uh get back to it after one
- 2:39:29episode. I would like to watch more than
- 2:39:30one episode yeah You got any cookies or anything girl?
- 2:39:43All right, let's go ahead and try to take this slate in real
- 2:39:46quick if it'll let me. And then I'm going to turn this
- 2:39:49shit off and watch some TV with my daughter.
- 2:39:52She wants to watch Sherlock Holmes and daughter, it's a new
- 2:39:56show on Prime. OK, good.
- 2:40:04We made it this time. I go turn that shit in and we
- 2:40:11will do more Starfield Patient with me.
- 2:40:29Good place to log out too because there's not much shit
- 2:40:33going on down here. You don't want to save in an
- 2:40:38area where there's a lot of nonsense going on.
- 2:40:41Hey there guy. Merry Christmas, I'll take test.
- 2:40:44Tubes over laser guns any day of the week.
- 2:40:46Thank you very much. And here's your Christmas
- 2:40:50present. Well, you look at that and it
- 2:40:53seems to be in working condition.
- 2:40:56So you see, even when tragedy strikes, there's people like you
- 2:41:00to help pick up the pieces. It makes me feel good about
- 2:41:04where we're going as a species. Well, it's nice to be
- 2:41:11optimistic. Here you go.
- 2:41:13I hope so, and with all the resources we have here, I have
- 2:41:18no excuse not to here. I know credits are a lazy gift,
- 2:41:23but as a scientist I think it's better to be practical.
- 2:41:27Thanks again. Thank you, Sir.
- 2:41:34I'm going to go over here and stand and then I'm going to go
- 2:41:39ahead and save the game.
