Trick or Treat with the Beavers Club
Aired: Oct 31st, 1948. It's Halloween in Beverly Hills, and Jack tags along with the neighborhood kids' club as their trick-or-treating mascot, spinning wild tales to a new kid about his 'legendary' boxing and Olympic exploits. The night takes a detour when Jack, worn out from all that 'athletic' walking, dons a homemade wolf mask and scares the daylights out of Mary Livingston's maid before collapsing into an armchair to trade jabs with Mary over a magazine article. A classic slice of Jack's vanity and small-town charm, wrapped in seasonal mischief.
