Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to the NFL Fantasy Football Show. It's
0:14
Speaker 1: been your man named g Marcus Grant, joined by Michael F.
0:16
Speaker 1: Floyo and Lakwan Jones. Welcome to Week three fellas. We're
0:20
Speaker 1: in the thick of it now.
0:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, hey, Week three kicks off in a great
0:24
Speaker 2: lady too.
0:25
Speaker 1: We've got the Bills, you got the Dolphins. It should
0:28
Speaker 1: be a good start to week three. We got a
0:30
Speaker 1: whole lot going on. We've got a lot of quarterback
0:32
Speaker 1: issues to deal with. Two, We're got to a lot
0:34
Speaker 1: of starts and sins for week three? Are we ready
0:37
Speaker 1: for another Indiana Jones adventure? And then the Chiefs avoid
0:40
Speaker 1: an Ero and three start. We'll get into that and
0:42
Speaker 1: a whole lot more, but gonna start as we don't
0:44
Speaker 1: leave with the starts, and since we'll begin with the
0:47
Speaker 1: quarterback position, Florio run through the ups and downs for
0:50
Speaker 1: this week.
0:51
Speaker 2: Jared Goff, I think that could be a really high
0:53
Speaker 2: scoring game on Monday Night football. Dak Prescott, the Bears
0:56
Speaker 2: have allowed a whole bunch of production through the air.
0:59
Speaker 2: Dre may I think he's just playing really good ball
1:02
Speaker 2: as of right now. Daniel Jones to me, is in
1:05
Speaker 2: play because he's getting all the goal one work and
1:07
Speaker 2: he's second in the NFL in passing yards. I don't
1:09
Speaker 2: know if it's gonna last all year, but he's hot
1:11
Speaker 2: right now. And then Caleb Williams. The Cowboys have allowed
1:15
Speaker 2: the most passing yards and third most passing touchdowns and
1:18
Speaker 2: on the Sids, I'm sorry, Lakwan, I'm gonna try to
1:21
Speaker 2: get away from Matthew Stafford. I know quarterbacks a little
1:23
Speaker 2: thin this week, but the Eagles is not a defense
1:25
Speaker 2: I really want to mess with. Keyral Lawrence has more
1:28
Speaker 2: career interceptions than touchdowns against the Houston Texans and he
1:32
Speaker 2: already has to have sit down, so with his coach,
1:34
Speaker 2: that's not a good thing. Gino Smith the other night
1:37
Speaker 2: was rough for him. Brock Bauers is banged up and everything.
1:41
Speaker 2: So I think you get away from trying to stream
1:43
Speaker 2: Gino Smith and then I'm sorry, Lakuwan, I'm gonna say
1:46
Speaker 2: something about your fellow Orange County and I would trying
1:49
Speaker 2: to get away from Sam Donald right now.
1:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, I put Sam Donald as a sleeper out. Admit
1:54
Speaker 1: I didn't feel necessarily great about it. Some of it
1:56
Speaker 1: was just because there could be up to five starting
1:59
Speaker 1: quarterbacks seeing this week. Yeah, I tried to kind of,
2:03
Speaker 1: you know, pretzel logic, but I don't feel great about
2:05
Speaker 1: that as a sleeper down.
2:07
Speaker 2: You know, they're just running the ball.
2:09
Speaker 1: They're running the ball a lot. Saints defense has been
2:12
Speaker 1: a little bit tougher than I think we thought it
2:13
Speaker 1: was going to be at the start of the year. Lakwan,
2:17
Speaker 1: you have been big on Daniel Jones. We sort of,
2:19
Speaker 1: you know, poked at you about it, but at least
2:21
Speaker 1: in the first two weeks he's looked good. Would you
2:24
Speaker 1: like to take a mild victory lap on Indiana? Indiana
2:28
Speaker 1: we named the dog Indiana, Like, do we want to
2:30
Speaker 1: take a lap on him heading into week three?
2:33
Speaker 3: Absolutely, I'm taking the lap each and every week.
2:36
Speaker 1: Man.
2:36
Speaker 3: As long as he's going out there in complete and passes,
2:39
Speaker 3: that's all the coach need and and that's exactly what
2:41
Speaker 3: he's doing. He's one of three quarterbacks to put up
2:44
Speaker 3: three hundred passing yards on net Denver defense. I mean, honestly,
2:48
Speaker 3: I'm just gonna ride this train. I'm going to ride
2:51
Speaker 3: the wave until it is done. Because at the end
2:53
Speaker 3: of the day, Daniel Jones was for free in drafts.
2:56
Speaker 3: He is free off the waiver wires and just looking
2:59
Speaker 3: at how he's been operating facing a league high sixty
3:03
Speaker 3: two percent blitz rate, defenses need to start respecting mister
3:08
Speaker 3: Danny Jones man, because look he's a Jones. So we
3:11
Speaker 3: the Ones. Baby, let's go Daniel Jones.
3:14
Speaker 1: What's gonna happen? Right? Because this is the week that
3:16
Speaker 1: everybody is on Daniel Jones, Like this is the week
3:19
Speaker 1: that it falls apart, because everybody believes in Daniel Jones,
3:24
Speaker 1: very curious whether or not the Titans decide to blitz
3:26
Speaker 1: him too heavily this week.
3:27
Speaker 2: I had a friend ask a start stick question and
3:31
Speaker 2: Daniel Jones is one of them, and I was like, look,
3:32
Speaker 2: I'm gonna answer that I would play Jones, but you
3:35
Speaker 2: know it's Daniel Jones, Like you know what the downside
3:38
Speaker 2: is like, And he was like, yeah, that's true. The
3:41
Speaker 2: thing about the blitzing, the Titans have generated pressure at
3:46
Speaker 2: the six lowest rate this year, so Dom's could have
3:49
Speaker 2: a clean pocket this week. That that's why I do
3:51
Speaker 2: have him in play.
3:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, look, everything points to them having another
3:54
Speaker 1: good week, but I just I you know, we've all
3:56
Speaker 1: seen this before, right, Like when we all believe in
3:59
Speaker 1: Daniel Jones. That's when it goes sideways.
4:01
Speaker 4: Only twenty four Saints, right exactly. So we'll see how
4:04
Speaker 4: we'll see how this goes. But but through through two
4:06
Speaker 4: weeks it's been fantastic. Now I gonna argue that. So
4:10
Speaker 4: people behind the curtain, I do the rundown. I tell
4:13
Speaker 4: Lakwan he go in and highlight the guys you want
4:15
Speaker 4: to talk about. Let's do a start. Let's do a
4:18
Speaker 4: sit for each one of these. And so now the
4:21
Speaker 4: sit is Trevor Lawrence. I mean, just go on, you
4:26
Speaker 4: do your thing.
4:28
Speaker 3: All right, I'm gonna bring out the middlemeter.
4:30
Speaker 1: Okay.
4:31
Speaker 3: Now, so he was at t low last week. Yeah,
4:34
Speaker 3: I think last week the performance he kind of moved
4:37
Speaker 3: up a notch. But him getting animated on the sideline
4:40
Speaker 3: with Liam Cohen the whole put it in this chest
4:43
Speaker 3: and then not getting Brian Thomas Jr. The fantasy points
4:46
Speaker 3: that the fantasy managers deserve. I do think that Trevor
4:49
Speaker 3: Lawrence is going to be on the bench for a
4:50
Speaker 3: lot of folks for a long time. And the last
4:53
Speaker 3: time he faced the Texans he got his bell rung.
4:55
Speaker 3: So I do think it's going to be a struggle
4:57
Speaker 3: for Trevor mid Lawrence to go out there and put
4:59
Speaker 3: on a good performance. So if you're streaming quarterbacks or
5:02
Speaker 3: having him as your QB one dealing with a lot
5:04
Speaker 3: of QB injuries this week, listen, I'm going to tell
5:07
Speaker 3: you now thoughts in prayers, man, because this Texans defense,
5:10
Speaker 3: they're gonna be bringing it and they're gonna be taking
5:12
Speaker 3: the ball away as well, because he has not faced
5:15
Speaker 3: a pass rush this aggressive this season.
5:17
Speaker 1: I think that the hard part about Trevor Lawrence playing
5:20
Speaker 1: this way is flourd. It's not so much about Trevor
5:23
Speaker 1: Lawrence because I think you know, he's probably on the
5:26
Speaker 1: bench in a lot of leagues. He's probably on the
5:27
Speaker 1: waiver wire in a lot of leagues. It's that it's
5:31
Speaker 1: hurting folks who have Brian Thomas Junior and Travis Hunter.
5:35
Speaker 1: Those guys have become really tough to start so far.
5:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm look, I don't think you get away from
5:40
Speaker 2: Brian Thomas Junior. Granted that like you took him in
5:43
Speaker 2: the first round more likely, but I have a good
5:45
Speaker 2: amount of Travis Hunter, and like in my fourteen team league,
5:48
Speaker 2: I can't get away. But in some twelve teamers, I can,
5:52
Speaker 2: and I am because like, I still believe in Travis
5:56
Speaker 2: Hunter's upside, I believe in his talent, and I even
5:59
Speaker 2: like the volume that he's getting. But it's just these
6:02
Speaker 2: quality of targets have not been good so far. And
6:05
Speaker 2: like the reason I wrote about Trevor Lawrence this week
6:07
Speaker 2: is because I think people are gonna see the fantasy
6:09
Speaker 2: stats from last week and be like, oh, maybe he's serviceable,
6:13
Speaker 2: maybe he's usable. I could replace Rock Purdy or Joe
6:16
Speaker 2: Burrow or someone like that with him. But like watching
6:20
Speaker 2: the game, it was not nearly as effective as.
6:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, two of his three interceptions by the way of
6:27
Speaker 1: come wing targeting Travis Hunter this year, so that that's
6:29
Speaker 1: not particularly great. No, not great at all. Let's turn
6:33
Speaker 1: to the running backs. Your start to Censich by the way,
6:36
Speaker 1: you can get all the starts and sits from Michael
6:37
Speaker 1: Leflorio on NFL dot Com slash starts it. Who do
6:40
Speaker 1: you like? Who do you not like?
6:41
Speaker 2: I like ken Look, we've seen two weeks of Kenneth
6:43
Speaker 2: Walker in this RB two role. We've seen the high
6:46
Speaker 2: and we've seen the low. But it's a good matchup
6:48
Speaker 2: against the Saints, and I'm hopeful that after last week
6:50
Speaker 2: he gets even more work. Javonte Williams has been a
6:53
Speaker 2: top five fantasy running back each week, so I just
6:56
Speaker 2: think he's in play there. Plus, the Bears have struggled
6:59
Speaker 2: to get with the explosive runs. Jalen Warren has taking
7:02
Speaker 2: over more and more of that backfield. The Patriots have
7:04
Speaker 2: allowed a lot of production through the air to running backs.
7:07
Speaker 2: DeAndre Swift has shown us to have his safe floor,
7:11
Speaker 2: but this could be an upside week because the Cowboys
7:14
Speaker 2: struggle in the passing game against running backs and they
7:16
Speaker 2: struggle on explosive runs. And then Tony Pollard, I know
7:19
Speaker 2: it's been all floor, but ninety percent of the snaps,
7:23
Speaker 2: all of the touches like he's going to have better
7:25
Speaker 2: fantasy days, and then my sits I'm looking to get
7:28
Speaker 2: away from Bill. The Raiders have allowed less than one
7:32
Speaker 2: hundred rushing yards to running backs this season despite playing
7:35
Speaker 2: a couple of good ones Hyron Tracy Junior. I think
7:38
Speaker 2: Cam Scataboo is really coming for that job there, and
7:40
Speaker 2: the Chiefs are a top run defense.
7:42
Speaker 1: R J.
7:43
Speaker 2: Harvey, he's just not getting the opportunities right now. I
7:45
Speaker 2: want him on my team, but it has to be
7:48
Speaker 2: the bench Brown's running backs, all of them last week
7:51
Speaker 2: like they're eating off the same plate. They all had
7:53
Speaker 2: fewer than eleven Fantasy points. And it's against the Packers.
7:56
Speaker 2: And then Zach Sharpney. Look he's getting touches, he's doing
7:59
Speaker 2: nothing with them. He's averaging I believe, like less than
8:01
Speaker 2: two yards per carry right now. So I don't see
8:04
Speaker 2: how you could start Sharbona. Sorry, I know that's a.
8:07
Speaker 1: That's my guy. I had a first good had a
8:08
Speaker 1: good first week, not a good second week. It does
8:11
Speaker 1: stand the reason. If you don't like Sharbona, you probably
8:13
Speaker 1: do like Walker. I know you have been a Kenneth
8:16
Speaker 1: Walker guy all off season. Lakwan, so is he is
8:20
Speaker 1: he back to officially being the RB one in Seattle?
8:24
Speaker 3: Yes? It only took one game for him to remind
8:26
Speaker 3: everybody of like who exactly is because like if you
8:29
Speaker 3: watch the tape in that Steelers game, my god, he's electric.
8:32
Speaker 3: He had four explosive runs compared to Zach Scharbonay this
8:35
Speaker 3: season zero. So I do think that outside zones game
8:38
Speaker 3: is working very well for him. I think week one
8:41
Speaker 3: was expected, Like folks forgot he was not practicing all
8:44
Speaker 3: summer like he was banged up. It only took one
8:47
Speaker 3: game to bounce back, and folks should be trusting him
8:49
Speaker 3: in starting lineup. My man jumping over invisible people like,
8:53
Speaker 3: he didn't have to hurt on that one jump, but
8:55
Speaker 3: it just shows of how electric an anime he can
8:58
Speaker 3: be in the backfield. And I definitely think that he
9:00
Speaker 3: is back and folks should just be looking forward to
9:03
Speaker 3: him lighting up each and every week.
9:05
Speaker 1: It'd be interesting because you know, I look, the chatter
9:08
Speaker 1: out of Seattle is that they were kind of frustrated
9:10
Speaker 1: with him because you know he can't stay healthy and
9:12
Speaker 1: that he sometimes has a lot of negative plays. But
9:15
Speaker 1: if he's playing like you did last week, then it's
9:17
Speaker 1: not really.
9:17
Speaker 3: Going to be an isshoe O line is helping him. Man,
9:20
Speaker 3: That on line looks great, man. I mean, look, you
9:22
Speaker 3: look at the yards before contact. He's top five in
9:25
Speaker 3: that area in yards, So it's like they are moving bodies.
9:28
Speaker 3: So as long as they keep doing their job and
9:30
Speaker 3: they stay up right, I see Seahawks having probably one
9:32
Speaker 3: of the best rushing attacks this year.
9:34
Speaker 1: They're going to be very run heavy this year for sure.
9:37
Speaker 1: On the other side, I know this is a very
9:39
Speaker 1: camp Scataboo friendly podcast. Does that mean Lakwan that we
9:42
Speaker 1: are out on Tyrone Tracy.
9:45
Speaker 3: Yeah, unfortunately, Man, when you look at last week had
9:47
Speaker 3: five carries, that was the fewest he's had since the
9:50
Speaker 3: Week four of last season. So it looks like the
9:52
Speaker 3: cam Skataboo or is taking over. I mean, man, the
9:55
Speaker 3: team is fully behind him. I mean he yoked up
9:57
Speaker 3: a veteran quarterback in Russell Wilson talk about something less go.
10:01
Speaker 3: He grabbed that man like a child that shouldn't be
10:03
Speaker 3: doing what he's doing in the store. Shout out to
10:05
Speaker 3: my mom. She's done that a couple of times. But
10:07
Speaker 3: I do think that Camp Skataboo is real, Like there
10:11
Speaker 3: is a real fear that, you know, Aaron Tracy is
10:14
Speaker 3: nearing that drop zone on a lot of rosters. Like
10:16
Speaker 3: I can't see myself rostering him if he goes out
10:19
Speaker 3: this week and having that same amount of carries that
10:21
Speaker 3: he had last week and Camp Scattabu just getting the
10:24
Speaker 3: torch and running away with it.
10:26
Speaker 1: Very interesting to see how this thing goes, Like I
10:27
Speaker 1: didn't expect Scataboo to start getting this much work this
10:30
Speaker 1: early in the season. I would still like to see
10:33
Speaker 1: him get a few more targets, but in terms of
10:35
Speaker 1: the opportunity, it's nice.
10:37
Speaker 2: For what it's worth, he ran more routes he did
10:40
Speaker 2: so like I think the targets are coming.
10:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll see, and maybe he ends up getting the
10:43
Speaker 1: goal line work too, which only raises his potential value
10:47
Speaker 1: for sure. Speaking of the Giants, that gets us to
10:51
Speaker 1: Sunday night football. It's the Kansas City Chiefs heading to
10:54
Speaker 1: the Meadowlands to take on the New York Football Giants.
10:57
Speaker 1: You can see that Sunday at eight Eastern time on
11:01
Speaker 1: in BC. All right, so, Flora Manascio, between the running
11:05
Speaker 1: backs here, who are you more comfortable starting? Is it
11:07
Speaker 1: cam Scattaboo? Is it Isaiah Pachecko?
11:10
Speaker 2: Look, I own a camp Scattaboo shirt. I was a
11:13
Speaker 2: big fan that. I think he could have quickly stole
11:16
Speaker 2: his job away from Tracy. I'm still going to Isaiah.
11:20
Speaker 2: I think this is the week for Pacheco and for
11:23
Speaker 2: a number of different reasons. One, the Chiefs have trailed
11:26
Speaker 2: for all but three minutes. Obviously, that's not a good
11:28
Speaker 2: recipe for success for a running back. But last week
11:31
Speaker 2: he did play more snaps, he had more carries, he
11:34
Speaker 2: ran double the amount of routes his Kareem Hunt and
11:36
Speaker 2: the Chiefs have kind of been like, we expect Pacheco
11:40
Speaker 2: to be better than this, We expect him to be
11:42
Speaker 2: our guy. And I think this is the week he
11:44
Speaker 2: could start to look like that. The Giants have allowed
11:47
Speaker 2: over five yards per carry. I believe they're allowing. If
11:49
Speaker 2: it's not the highest rate their top three, it's one
11:52
Speaker 2: of the highest rates in the NFL. And then I
11:56
Speaker 2: know this MRK sound like, oh, he's grasping and stuff.
11:59
Speaker 2: But this is a return home for Isaiah Pacheco. And
12:02
Speaker 2: if you think coaches don't factor stuff in like that,
12:06
Speaker 2: and I'm expecting a goal on carry into a touchdown
12:09
Speaker 2: for Pacheco, which if he scores a touchdown, that already
12:11
Speaker 2: clears anything a Chiefs running back has done in a game.
12:14
Speaker 2: So I'm going with Pacheco.
12:16
Speaker 1: In the Other part that works in Pacheco's benefit is
12:19
Speaker 1: I think game script's not gonna be as much of
12:21
Speaker 1: an issue. And you've pointed out during the week that
12:24
Speaker 1: the Chiefs have barely led at all this season. What
12:27
Speaker 1: two three minutes at the most that they have had
12:29
Speaker 1: a lead, they took a lead, what is against the
12:31
Speaker 1: Eagles and Eagles came right back. It took the lead
12:34
Speaker 1: on the very next possession. So they've been playing either
12:36
Speaker 1: even or behind pretty much all season long. Pacheco has
12:40
Speaker 1: never been a big part of the passing game there
12:42
Speaker 1: in Kansas City. But I expect they're going to have
12:45
Speaker 1: a lead, They're going to be angry, they're owing to
12:47
Speaker 1: and they're gonna probably take this out on the Giants,
12:49
Speaker 1: and so I think you're gonna see a lot of
12:51
Speaker 1: just running the football in the third and fourth quarter
12:53
Speaker 1: they try to grind that clock.
12:54
Speaker 2: Go esca Orange County's own. He's gonna eat a tailor
12:57
Speaker 2: hands Taylor.
12:59
Speaker 1: Taylor, Okay, so walked off man.
13:06
Speaker 3: Man, He's gonna eat a like Papa Hello.
13:11
Speaker 1: All right, God, you guys are no worse. We seem
13:13
Speaker 1: to be on the Pacheco. We all like Scataboo. But
13:15
Speaker 1: it does seem to be more of a Pacheco week here,
13:17
Speaker 1: uh In. I agree. Football still got some more to
13:21
Speaker 1: get to. A look at a big Monday night game
13:22
Speaker 1: between the Lions and the Ravens, plus our start sits
13:25
Speaker 1: for wide receivers and tight ends. That's next on the
13:27
Speaker 1: NFL Fantasy Football Show. Take a look at the Monday
13:33
Speaker 1: night football game and on paper at least looks like
13:35
Speaker 1: a dandy. The Detroit Lions go to Baltimore to take
13:38
Speaker 1: on of the Ravens. Both teams a lot of points.
13:41
Speaker 1: Last week, the Lions dropped the fifty burger on the Bears.
13:45
Speaker 1: The Ravens have scored forty points in back to back
13:47
Speaker 1: weeks to start the season. But look one Week one,
13:50
Speaker 1: not so great for the Detroit offense, very good in
13:53
Speaker 1: week two. Your feelings about starting any of your Lions
13:56
Speaker 1: this week against a good Baltimore defense. I feel good
13:59
Speaker 1: about Laporte, I feel good about Jared Goff. I feel
14:01
Speaker 1: good obviously about Gibbs.
14:03
Speaker 3: The only word where I'm iffy about starting is David Montgomery.
14:06
Speaker 3: Like I feel real nasty about the situation that's going
14:09
Speaker 3: there where John Morton looks like he's pushing Gibbs as
14:12
Speaker 3: a guy that's going to be the shining star of
14:14
Speaker 3: that offense. And I do think that Dave Montgomery, you're
14:17
Speaker 3: kind of hoping and praying that he falls into the
14:20
Speaker 3: end zone. So like that's the only start that I'm
14:22
Speaker 3: a little like if you about, because I find myself
14:25
Speaker 3: starting at Jordan Mason over at David Montgomery, Like I
14:28
Speaker 3: find myself going to different flex opportunities, like a Chris O'
14:31
Speaker 3: lobby over at David Montgomery. It feels nasty, even though
14:34
Speaker 3: Chryso Lobby is like the og of the saturl discontent Marcus,
14:37
Speaker 3: you know that. So it's like, I don't know what
14:40
Speaker 3: to do with David Montgomery. But like at least with
14:42
Speaker 3: Jameson Williams, you always have that high ceiling with this
14:44
Speaker 3: high power lines offense.
14:47
Speaker 1: Josh Club, I need you to cut the part just
14:49
Speaker 1: now where the quants that I feel good about Jared Goff.
14:52
Speaker 1: I just want that SoundBite so I can have that
14:56
Speaker 1: to play at random intervals during the show. I just
15:00
Speaker 1: need that. That's what I need in my life.
15:01
Speaker 2: Well done.
15:03
Speaker 1: Let's get back to some more starts and since though
15:05
Speaker 1: for week three, look at the wide receivers Florida. Who
15:07
Speaker 1: your starts? Who are your sits?
15:08
Speaker 2: This week? The new wide receiver one in Chicago I
15:11
Speaker 2: think is a must start option in Roman dunesday. He
15:13
Speaker 2: gets all of their end zone targets and no team
15:15
Speaker 2: has a lot more touchdowns to receivers than the Cowboys.
15:18
Speaker 2: The Bears are close, though, and that's why I think
15:20
Speaker 2: George Pickens is in play in this one. He leads
15:23
Speaker 2: the league and end zone targets. Mister Pickens a mecca
15:27
Speaker 2: at BUKA. I know he popped up on the practice
15:29
Speaker 2: report this week, but if he plays, I think you
15:31
Speaker 2: play him. Not only has he been outstanding Sauce Gardner,
15:34
Speaker 2: the Jets are letting him shadow people now, so if
15:36
Speaker 2: he shadows Mike Evans, they could mean more Buka and
15:39
Speaker 2: the Jets really struggle against slot receivers. Juwan Jennings ten
15:43
Speaker 2: targets last week, didn't.
15:44
Speaker 1: Miss a beat.
15:45
Speaker 2: With Mac Jones and the Cardinals, they've allowed I think
15:48
Speaker 2: the most catches to receivers it is, and they are
15:50
Speaker 2: definitely in the top ten in yards allowed to receivers
15:53
Speaker 2: out wide. And then Wanda Robinson, I think they're using
15:56
Speaker 2: him differently. I think the volume is very safe and
15:59
Speaker 2: the Chiefs have allowed but the most yah or top
16:02
Speaker 2: two in yards allowed two slot receivers. And then my sits.
16:06
Speaker 2: It pains me to say, man, but Calvin Ridley, like
16:09
Speaker 2: they're not throwing the ball downfield much. He's not getting
16:11
Speaker 2: many end zone targets. Like I just don't like the
16:15
Speaker 2: way he's being used and L like iomaner to your guys,
16:18
Speaker 2: credit is actually a threat for some volume there, Chris Olave,
16:23
Speaker 2: He's all floor right now. We haven't really seen the
16:25
Speaker 2: high ceiling. And then the thing about floors is it
16:28
Speaker 2: gets lowered when you face a really good defense like
16:30
Speaker 2: the Seahawks. That's how I feel about Jerry Judy as well.
16:34
Speaker 2: Outside of the tight ends. I don't want to do
16:36
Speaker 2: anything with the Browns against that Packers defense this week.
16:39
Speaker 2: And then Darnault Mooney. I'm willing to be wrong if
16:41
Speaker 2: I'm wrong here, but the Panthers have been really stout
16:45
Speaker 2: against wide receivers, partly because you could run all over them,
16:48
Speaker 2: partly because they got some good players there. You know.
16:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think a lot of it's just like teams
16:51
Speaker 1: are like, hey, we're running the ball so well throwing it,
16:54
Speaker 1: so that might have something to do with it.
16:55
Speaker 2: Jon's gonna go for a million yards too.
16:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, That's that's probably the other part of that thing. Sure,
17:01
Speaker 1: Lakwan Floria mentioned Calvin Ridley as a sit I have
17:06
Speaker 1: this feeling that Calvin Ridley shows up, but really it's
17:08
Speaker 1: just it's based on vibes alone, Like I have no
17:11
Speaker 1: actual stats to back it up, just because it feels
17:13
Speaker 1: like they're going to try to get him. Going your
17:15
Speaker 1: thoughts on Calvin Ridley this week.
17:17
Speaker 3: I haven't started him since Week one, and I've been
17:19
Speaker 3: kind of avoiding getting him into my lineups, like I
17:21
Speaker 3: don't feel the need to because him and cam Ward
17:23
Speaker 3: are now in the same page right now, and honestly,
17:26
Speaker 3: looking at this Colts defense, man, they're playing great football.
17:29
Speaker 3: Only five passes have been completed downfield on this Colts defense.
17:34
Speaker 3: They are playing tough against the pass. And then looking
17:37
Speaker 3: at cam Ward, he has the lowest completion percentage on
17:40
Speaker 3: downfield throws. That's ten plus air yards. And this is
17:43
Speaker 3: the bread and butter of Calvin Ridley. We know he's
17:45
Speaker 3: the guy last season that led in air yards. There
17:48
Speaker 3: is a need to want to get him vertical and
17:50
Speaker 3: being that they are now on the same page, yet
17:52
Speaker 3: I cannot trust Calvin Ridley in starting lineups.
17:55
Speaker 4: Yeah.
17:55
Speaker 1: Just I mean that that highlight reel, low light reel,
17:57
Speaker 1: A lot of drops from Calvin Ridley, Kim Kim Ward.
18:01
Speaker 1: You know, I think I think he's been better than
18:03
Speaker 1: his numbers say, but he's also not getting a lot
18:05
Speaker 1: of help from his receivers or the line or the
18:08
Speaker 1: O line and just one touchdown pass through his first
18:10
Speaker 1: two games. Absolutely, it's been absolutely rough. Let's get over
18:12
Speaker 1: to the tight ends. Who are your starts and sits over.
18:14
Speaker 2: There, Florida. I said, I only want one of the
18:17
Speaker 2: Browns tight end, So I have Harold Fannin Junior as
18:20
Speaker 2: a start there. He's a joker right like, he's gonna
18:23
Speaker 2: play all the different positions for the Browns, so I
18:26
Speaker 2: have him as a start. I have Tyler Warren. I
18:29
Speaker 2: think Tyler Warren has quickly reached must start status and
18:32
Speaker 2: people need to start stop questioning him. Tucker Kraft to me,
18:37
Speaker 2: is a start. Look my bad for saying to sit
18:39
Speaker 2: him last week.
18:40
Speaker 1: I was wrong.
18:41
Speaker 2: He looks like a mustard option. Jake Ferguson is just
18:45
Speaker 2: getting a lot of volume right now. He's been the
18:47
Speaker 2: top two target each week so far. And speaking of volume,
18:50
Speaker 2: there is Juwan Johnson who just has a thing going
18:54
Speaker 2: with Spencer Ratler right now. And in my sits, I
18:57
Speaker 2: have TJ. Howkinson as a sit. I have Evan Ingram
19:00
Speaker 2: Mark Andrews. There's a friend here right like Big Games
19:03
Speaker 2: who haven't given us any production and in some cases
19:07
Speaker 2: aren't getting consistent volume. And then John new Smith and
19:10
Speaker 2: Kada and to round it out, speaking of not getting
19:12
Speaker 2: consistent volume that those two.
19:14
Speaker 1: Guys, I want to ask you. I know you're big
19:15
Speaker 1: on Harold fan and Junior understandably, were you right now
19:18
Speaker 1: on David and Joku for this week?
19:21
Speaker 2: I like Fanning a little bit more just because they're
19:25
Speaker 2: using him in different ways. But I think David and
19:27
Speaker 2: Joku is like a sneaky play because the Packers their
19:30
Speaker 2: one weakness has been against Tipan.
19:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, for as good as they've been, tidened,
19:33
Speaker 1: like they've given up big points to Sam Laporta and
19:35
Speaker 1: zach Ertz in the first two weeks, so and shut
19:38
Speaker 1: down everyone at everybody else exactly. LaQuan Evan Ingram has
19:41
Speaker 1: been a disappointment through two weeks. Troy Franklin's like the
19:43
Speaker 1: number two option. Does this turn around this week?
19:46
Speaker 3: We're hoping, but I'm not trusting him in starting lineups,
19:49
Speaker 3: Like he is very comfortable on my bench. I mean
19:52
Speaker 3: six tardest four catches from two games, and we're getting
19:55
Speaker 3: a lot of hype from Sean Payne, but I think
19:57
Speaker 3: that was the first mistake trying to trust Sean Payne
19:59
Speaker 3: about Evan Ingram being so involved in this offense and
20:02
Speaker 3: being the joker of this offense. But I do think
20:05
Speaker 3: that you know, him picking up the injury very early
20:07
Speaker 3: in the season kind of turned a lot of fantasy
20:10
Speaker 3: managers off. He could bounce back this week, but I'm
20:13
Speaker 3: not banking on it for it to happen in my
20:15
Speaker 3: starting lineups this week.
20:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm joker. The joke has been on fantasy managers
20:20
Speaker 1: through the first couple weeks of the season when it
20:23
Speaker 1: comes to Evan Ingram. So anyway, there's the starts in six.
20:26
Speaker 1: If you want more in depth analysis, you can go
20:28
Speaker 1: to NFL dot com slash start sit and get all
20:30
Speaker 1: of Florio's picks for week three. Tom gett ready for
20:34
Speaker 1: some spice. We got our spicy hot takes for week three,
20:38
Speaker 1: So lakwan it is with your bold p for week three.
20:42
Speaker 3: Wandell Robinson will have back to back top five wide
20:47
Speaker 3: receiver performances and I'm putting a huge, a huge, huge
20:52
Speaker 3: need for the Chiefs to step up and stop slot
20:55
Speaker 3: wide receivers. As Florio explained, the Chiefs defense turn aound
20:59
Speaker 3: the highest percentage two slot wide receivers. So I do
21:02
Speaker 3: think at the end of the day. This short king
21:04
Speaker 3: is playing very big for a giant to be in
21:06
Speaker 3: that slot to make big, big plays. I mean, the
21:09
Speaker 3: guy is short, but he's playing like he's six seven.
21:12
Speaker 1: You know.
21:12
Speaker 3: I had to sneak that in. That's a friend that's
21:14
Speaker 3: going on. But I do think Wanda Romson has a
21:16
Speaker 3: big performance one day. In terms of the usage the
21:19
Speaker 3: target show, that was about normal from last week.
21:21
Speaker 1: What was different? Like sixteen are yards per target for
21:25
Speaker 1: a guy whose career average has been like five and
21:27
Speaker 1: a half. Like that's the part that I'm like, I
21:31
Speaker 1: need to see that again before I start to buy
21:33
Speaker 1: into it. That's all Flourias for.
21:35
Speaker 2: Bowl prediction for a week, it involves that game as well.
21:37
Speaker 2: This is a huge must win game for the Chiefs
21:40
Speaker 2: because if you look at their schedule ahead, it is rough.
21:42
Speaker 2: You don't want to be going three facing the Ravens.
21:44
Speaker 2: But I think it's a get right game for Pacheco,
21:46
Speaker 2: like I was talking about earlier in the show and
21:49
Speaker 2: tray me on Henderson. Part of it is because I
21:52
Speaker 2: love these two players. But the real reason is I've
21:56
Speaker 2: already spoke about how it's such a good match up
21:57
Speaker 2: for Pacheco. I think the same thing for Travia On.
22:00
Speaker 2: The Steelers have allowed a lot of yards on the ground.
22:03
Speaker 2: They've allowed the most explosive runs to running backs in
22:05
Speaker 2: the NFL, but it's all come on chunk plays to
22:08
Speaker 2: the speedy backs. They shut down Zach Charbonney, they shut
22:11
Speaker 2: down Braylan Allen, but Brees Hall and Kenneth Walker ran
22:14
Speaker 2: all over them. The Steelers defense is older, it is physical,
22:18
Speaker 2: but it's slow. And I think you give Henderson a
22:21
Speaker 2: couple of carries in this one, He's going to break
22:23
Speaker 2: a long one, and once that happens, I don't think
22:26
Speaker 2: you go.
22:26
Speaker 1: I think you and Adam Rank are on the same
22:28
Speaker 1: train there about Trevon Henderson having the breakout this week.
22:31
Speaker 1: For me, I'm staying with the running back as well.
22:33
Speaker 1: Jordan Mason is going to be the RB one this
22:37
Speaker 1: week because he was already starting to take over that backfield.
22:40
Speaker 1: Then Aaron Jones has the hamstring injury which puts him
22:43
Speaker 1: on ir throwing the fact no JJ McCarthy this week,
22:46
Speaker 1: Carson Wentz. I just don't think Kevin O'Connell is going
22:49
Speaker 1: to lean on Carson Wentz. If he's throwing the ball
22:51
Speaker 1: thirty times, things have gone really badly for the Vikings
22:54
Speaker 1: in this one. I think it's a heavy dose of
22:56
Speaker 1: Jordan Mason against a Bengals defense that's given up the
22:59
Speaker 1: second most face fantasy points per game to the running
23:02
Speaker 1: back position. We saw Dylan Samson go big against them
23:05
Speaker 1: in week one, and we saw Travis Etn have a
23:08
Speaker 1: huge game against them in week two. I think Jordan
23:10
Speaker 1: Mason has an even bigger game against them in Week three.
23:13
Speaker 1: So there you go. Those are bold predictions into the
23:17
Speaker 1: third week of the season. That is it. We are done.
23:20
Speaker 1: We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
23:23
Speaker 1: You know the drill. Tell two friends to tell two friends,
23:25
Speaker 1: rate review and remember, if two wrongs don't make it right,
23:28
Speaker 1: try three. Be safe to care yourselves. Enjoy Week three.
23:31
Speaker 1: We'll talk to you again on Monday.
24:00
Speaker 3: Look at the w
