- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside. You come
- 0:28Speaker 1: laugh with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along
- 0:32Speaker 1: with Trade Trendholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Tuesday, August twentieth,
- 0:38Speaker 1: twenty twenty four. Thanks for joining us inside the treehouse.
- 0:44Speaker 1: The treehouse five days a week. Day number two and
- 0:50Speaker 1: the treehouse is driven by Fairlease. Fairlease dot Org is
- 0:55Speaker 1: the website you can get your fair least in three
- 0:59Speaker 1: simple stuf number one, Go to the website, get a
- 1:03Speaker 1: consultation done step number two. Then you figure out what
- 1:06Speaker 1: the vehicle you want, what kind of terms you want
- 1:08Speaker 1: as far as how many miles and how long you
- 1:09Speaker 1: want the vehicle and all the fun stuff. And then
- 1:11Speaker 1: three they bring you your new car. It's a pretty
- 1:14Speaker 1: good deal at leasing a car with no hassle and
- 1:18Speaker 1: no dealership at fairlease dot Orry. I would like to
- 1:23Speaker 1: point out that this television behind me is off. It
- 1:31Speaker 1: is off. I've made sure it's off unplugged. I did
- 1:36Speaker 1: not unplug it. Look if if if the alleged ghost
- 1:43Speaker 1: wants to kick back and watch The Boys on Amazon Prime,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'm not going to do anything to deter it, like
- 1:50Speaker 1: unplug the TV, because that means I got to move
- 1:52Speaker 1: the TV out from the wall. Then I got unplugged,
- 1:54Speaker 1: and that's a pin and I'm not doing that, so
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm leaving it plugged.
- 1:58Speaker 2: You haven't heard any singing? Have you.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Not?
- 2:02Speaker 1: In this unit?
- 2:03Speaker 4: Oh?
- 2:04Speaker 5: Uh?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Next door? So there's there's a unit on either wall
- 2:09Speaker 1: next to us. So we're in the middle unit. We're
- 2:11Speaker 1: the lucky Pierre in this airbnb situation. There's people next
- 2:15Speaker 1: door on both sides and on the side behind me.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Whether it's a short term tenant like like I am,
- 2:24Speaker 1: or if they live there full time, I don't know,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but I do know that they like to play every
- 2:31Speaker 1: version of guitar, and by every version I mean regular
- 2:36Speaker 1: acoustic and Joe And I'm ninety nine percent sure I've
- 2:41Speaker 1: heard of ukulele.
- 2:43Speaker 6: Okay, and some folks singers living next to you.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Now, have you actually seen people?
- 2:51Speaker 1: No?
- 2:52Speaker 6: Ah.
- 2:53Speaker 1: As much as I want to say yes to that question,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I can't because I haven't. And so now I'm wondering,
- 2:59Speaker 1: does the ghost that you guys think exists along with
- 3:02Speaker 1: my wife? Do you guys think this Airbnb ghost is
- 3:07Speaker 1: in our unit, opening and closing doors and doing something
- 3:11Speaker 1: with a bathroom tampon that we didn't bring, and then
- 3:14Speaker 1: goes next door to its music studio to practice the
- 3:19Speaker 1: banjo and the Yuka leley, and then I don't know
- 3:21Speaker 1: what happens next door on the other side. I do
- 3:25Speaker 1: wonder though, if the ghost that is allegedly haunting me
- 3:34Speaker 1: here in Seattle at this airbnb traveled through the internet
- 3:38Speaker 1: into Raj's tummy because Raj, you sent a text this
- 3:43Speaker 1: morning saying that you've got a bit of a tummy bug,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and you've been up since five thirty. So I have
- 3:49Speaker 1: to ask what I ask everyone when they're under the
- 3:51Speaker 1: weather or they find themselves headfirst in a wood chipper,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'll uh Tucker and Dale versus Evil.
- 3:58Speaker 6: Okay, it's a little bit better actually holding water down now,
- 4:04Speaker 6: so that's good. At five, I'm at five twenty two ish.
- 4:09Speaker 6: I woke up because I had a dream where I
- 4:11Speaker 6: was sick. In my dream and I was in the
- 4:14Speaker 6: restroom and it was h it was just bad, just
- 4:18Speaker 6: the stomach bug and it was coming out of everywhere.
- 4:21Speaker 6: And I woke up and I was like, oh, that's
- 4:23Speaker 6: not that's about to be reality, and went to the
- 4:27Speaker 6: restroom and everything. I'm assuming it's I had breakfast at
- 4:32Speaker 6: the airport in Wichita, and I'm guessing that's what it was,
- 4:37Speaker 6: because I really didn't. We had lunch when it came back,
- 4:40Speaker 6: but we just grabbed some quick McDonald's and then had dinner.
- 4:44Speaker 6: But it was nothing like crazy, but it was the
- 4:46Speaker 6: airport breakfast, is what I'm assuming did it.
- 4:50Speaker 1: So what's worse airport food or airline food.
- 4:58Speaker 6: It depends on the airline, right, but it depends on
- 5:01Speaker 6: the country. Okay, that's yeah, that's true as well.
- 5:05Speaker 5: One of the sickest sides I've ever been is coming
- 5:08Speaker 5: back from Cabo and at the airport there's a subway.
- 5:16Speaker 5: I'm thinking, oh, it's subway. It's okay, Yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 1: How is that not their new marketing s logan subway?
- 5:25Speaker 5: That's okay, but clearly they they did not wash the
- 5:29Speaker 5: vegetables in purified.
- 5:30Speaker 6: Water and oh no, yeah that's brutal. Okay, yeah no,
- 5:38Speaker 6: this wasn't even It tasted fine. I do. I'm a
- 5:42Speaker 6: sausage patty guy. I don't like the links, so I
- 5:45Speaker 6: opted for the sausage patty and it tasted funky, like
- 5:51Speaker 6: not bad. But I'm like, this isn't like Jimmy Dean.
- 5:54Speaker 6: This is not my normal go to, so I just
- 5:56Speaker 6: stopped eating it.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And yeah, if there's anything that's true ever in the
- 5:59Speaker 1: history of time is that Jimmy Dean has never been funky.
- 6:03Speaker 6: That's that is true.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And so his sausage will line dance still it's you know,
- 6:11Speaker 1: blue in the face. Yeah, but funky it is not. No,
- 6:16Speaker 1: that's for that hippie owens.
- 6:20Speaker 2: And it was sausage.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Did he really Oh no, I said, if oh, tray
- 6:26Speaker 1: he did.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Twitty sausage. Yeah, so I'm assuming that's what it was.
- 6:35Speaker 6: And everything was fine, It didn't feel weird. Just went
- 6:37Speaker 6: to bed and at five point thirty I was like, oh,
- 6:41Speaker 6: this isn't good. So it about an hour ago, started
- 6:46Speaker 6: to get a little bit better and I could hold
- 6:49Speaker 6: down water. I started like the stomach started growling because
- 6:51Speaker 6: it's a little hungry. But I'm kind of waiting, like
- 6:53Speaker 6: holding off on that for a little bit to see
- 6:56Speaker 6: if we can just keep just you know, a gloss
- 6:59Speaker 6: of to of water down and then I think we'll
- 7:00Speaker 6: be all right.
- 7:02Speaker 1: While I have sympathy for you in being sick and
- 7:06Speaker 1: having a tummy bug, I don't think that's a good
- 7:09Speaker 1: enough reason for you to lash out and then kill
- 7:11Speaker 1: Phil Donahue.
- 7:12Speaker 6: I did. I killed. It's true. This curse is real.
- 7:15Speaker 6: So here's what happened. The lady who was booked us
- 7:20Speaker 6: for or booked me for Dallas and Wichita. Her last
- 7:25Speaker 6: name is Donahue, and I said she's young. She's I
- 7:30Speaker 6: think twenty six, and I said, oh, like Phil Donahue.
- 7:34Speaker 6: She says, who in the world is Phil Donahue, And
- 7:38Speaker 6: I was like, how old are you? Said him twenty six?
- 7:40Speaker 6: I go, you need to know him. He's incredible. He
- 7:44Speaker 6: was an amazing talent and journalistic reporter, had his own,
- 7:48Speaker 6: like Oprah winfree style talk show, go back and watch reruns.
- 7:51Speaker 6: And then he died.
- 7:54Speaker 1: And yeah, yeah, he's the the godfather, or at least
- 7:59Speaker 1: the father of daytime talk shows, right.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Yes, oh he was, yeah, yeah he was.
- 8:05Speaker 2: He was the Ogi.
- 8:07Speaker 6: Donnie mused his name, and uh, and then he died.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Phil Donna Hue, a journalist and former daytime TV talk
- 8:13Speaker 1: show host, has died, according to a family statement released
- 8:16Speaker 1: to multiple media outlets. UH. The Today Show first reported
- 8:22Speaker 1: his death, saying he had passed at the age of
- 8:24Speaker 1: eighty eight following along illness. No other details were given.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You know, why because no one knows how rash kills
- 8:30Speaker 1: the people that he does.
- 8:31Speaker 6: I don't. I don't. I don't either, Like that's the thing.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Which it makes you so dangerous.
- 8:36Speaker 6: I know. It could just be kind of anything, like
- 8:38Speaker 6: he could have just been walking and tripped or you know,
- 8:40Speaker 6: fell down the stairs, like Richard Simmons hit his head
- 8:43Speaker 6: and that was that, and then he we know that.
- 8:45Speaker 1: That's what happened to Richard Simmons thought.
- 8:48Speaker 6: He hit his head, he had a medical emergency, he
- 8:50Speaker 6: hit his head, but he refused to go to the hospital.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And I thought that's what happened to Gary Coleman.
- 8:56Speaker 6: I think Gary Coleman was pushed down the stairs, wasn't
- 8:58Speaker 6: he by the former wife?
- 9:00Speaker 5: Did Richard refuse to go to the hospital or he
- 9:03Speaker 5: wasn't allowed. There's a lot of questions about who who
- 9:05Speaker 5: was uh, who was calling the shots for older and.
- 9:09Speaker 1: And I smell conspiracy because you know, one person that
- 9:12Speaker 1: would have dug into that Richard Simmons mystery was Phil Donahue.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And now he knocked off that's right, and and and
- 9:21Speaker 1: one of the suspects that we here in the Treehouse
- 9:23Speaker 1: have as to the possible murder of Richard Simmons is
- 9:27Speaker 1: U RAJ. So it sounds to me like you're knocking
- 9:30Speaker 1: off everyone that might be able to finger you in U.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I don't want your murder spree.
- 9:36Speaker 6: I didn't want Richard Simmons fingering me anyway, So.
- 9:40Speaker 2: So, but no, I.
- 9:45Speaker 6: I wanted to disprove this purse theory. And then I
- 9:48Speaker 6: just met this lovely lady and she was very sweet
- 9:51Speaker 6: and just happened to mention her name. And then he
- 9:54Speaker 6: died the next day, and I think I was like,
- 9:58Speaker 6: that's real, that's.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Right, and that makes sense because she didn't know who
- 10:02Speaker 1: he was, so in order to make sure that she
- 10:04Speaker 1: knew who he was, you killed him so she'd be
- 10:07Speaker 1: forced to read about him.
- 10:09Speaker 6: If she checks TMZ, then yes, So I think now
- 10:13Speaker 6: she knows who he at least now she knows who
- 10:14Speaker 6: he is, which she did not two days ago.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Well didn't you do us a public service? Yeah?
- 10:25Speaker 1: I feel like Phil donnahu might disagree with your methods.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:27Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to apologize to the Donahue family. I mean,
- 10:33Speaker 6: what didn eighties TV do to you? I don't know.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Are you responsible for Dana Plato as well? Like is
- 10:41Speaker 1: Todd Bridges somewhere just hiding in a closet waiting.
- 10:46Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, how's Oprah doing? I know she's on
- 10:48Speaker 6: the ozembic and she's lost a lot of weight. Is
- 10:50Speaker 6: she healthy? Is she? We're all good there.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I mean we don't know.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Wait and see on the news tomorrow.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Do the cast of the Hollywood Square is needed run
- 11:00Speaker 5: for their lives?
- 11:01Speaker 6: I think I think so because I looked up Jim J.
- 11:03Speaker 6: Bullock the other day.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Okay, you look at Jim J. Bullock.
- 11:08Speaker 1: But wasn't the what the original host of Hollywood Squares?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Didn't he just die?
- 11:13Speaker 6: Jeane what was his name? Jean Rayburn?
- 11:17Speaker 1: That said territory.
- 11:18Speaker 5: But that's an NFL referee now, Jean Rayburn was a
- 11:21Speaker 5: match game?
- 11:23Speaker 6: Who somebody just died? And I think it was the original?
- 11:26Speaker 2: It was no, it was oh god? What was he did?
- 11:29Speaker 2: The Newlywood game?
- 11:31Speaker 1: Uh, don't kill Bob? I tried that.
- 11:35Speaker 6: The Yeah, yeah, yeah, How Shadow Steven's doing? I don't
- 11:41Speaker 6: I don't know what's like, I don't know who, like,
- 11:43Speaker 6: I don't know where the curse goes, like, I don't
- 11:45Speaker 6: know how it decides.
- 11:48Speaker 1: It was Peter Marshall, Hollywood Squares host, who died at
- 11:52Speaker 1: ninety eight, Peter Marshall.
- 11:54Speaker 6: Yeah, at ninety eight. Why is that news?
- 11:56Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying at ninety.
- 11:59Speaker 6: Eight or in.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I mean in ninety eight would have made sense too.
- 12:09Speaker 6: Yeah, if you died ninety eight, that shouldn't That shouldn't
- 12:11Speaker 6: be newsworthy at all.
- 12:13Speaker 1: No, it should be like, hey, man made it to
- 12:15Speaker 1: ninety eight, good for him, and then the rest of
- 12:17Speaker 1: the world gets to play the game of well I
- 12:19Speaker 1: thought he already was, which is what I usually do
- 12:21Speaker 1: to people.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Yeah, so I don't know how the curse lands again.
- 12:24Speaker 6: I just know that I sometimes say somebody's name and
- 12:26Speaker 6: then unfortunate things befall them.
- 12:29Speaker 1: First Valanche, Did I kill him too?
- 12:37Speaker 6: Not yet.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I think that's just a curse on the rest of us.
- 12:53Speaker 1: You're listening to the tree House visits online, that Treehouse
- 12:57Speaker 1: on air dot com. Let's talk to Daniel Cook now
- 13:04Speaker 1: from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration eight three to three Cook DFWS,
- 13:08Speaker 1: thephone number, the website COOKDFW dot com. The website I
- 13:12Speaker 1: bring up very specifically because we've told people many times
- 13:15Speaker 1: in the past to check out that website for some
- 13:17Speaker 1: of the photos of the work that you guys have
- 13:19Speaker 1: done both on the house and inside, and I'm wondering,
- 13:24Speaker 1: are there any new ones up there that you can
- 13:26Speaker 1: show us that people go to and go, oh, look
- 13:28Speaker 1: at that. That's pretty Dan.
- 13:30Speaker 7: We're constantly updating that project page on our website. So
- 13:33Speaker 7: if you go to our website and the very top
- 13:35Speaker 7: one of the menu items assessed projects, we got hundreds
- 13:38Speaker 7: and hundreds and hundreds of projects on there that's on
- 13:40Speaker 7: a map. The problem is is that I sometimes forget
- 13:45Speaker 7: to send all the pictures into the office, and so
- 13:48Speaker 7: while I'm in the field actually doing all the work,
- 13:52Speaker 7: it's hard to remember to take all the pictures and
- 13:54Speaker 7: then send them at the same time. So that's a
- 13:56Speaker 7: work in progress. We're gonna get better on it, though.
- 13:58Speaker 7: My goal here in the next month or so is
- 14:01Speaker 7: to get majority of those hundreds of hundreds. I mean, seriously,
- 14:03Speaker 7: we probably got like five hundred projects on here, but
- 14:06Speaker 7: there's only like maybe fifty with pitchers, So I got
- 14:09Speaker 7: to get better at that. I want to make sure
- 14:10Speaker 7: we can show our clients what we're able to do,
- 14:13Speaker 7: and it also gives them a great avenue or tool
- 14:16Speaker 7: if they're interested in looking different shingle colors. You can
- 14:18Speaker 7: pull up shingle colors too on our website and see
- 14:21Speaker 7: what kind of the homes look like for different colors.
- 14:23Speaker 7: So it's a really good useful tool and we just
- 14:26Speaker 7: implemented this recently on our website.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Go to cookdfw dot com. Check out some of the
- 14:31Speaker 1: projects that they've got on they're both on top of
- 14:33Speaker 1: the house and inside of it, and check back often
- 14:37Speaker 1: to see some of the additions that are made. Once
- 14:41Speaker 1: Daniel finally starts doing it for the gram, give the
- 14:43Speaker 1: men a call for any and all of those roofing,
- 14:46Speaker 1: restoration remodeling needs a three to three cook DFW website,
- 14:49Speaker 1: cookdfw dot com.
- 15:00Speaker 8: You're in the treehouse. Listen us online at the Treehouse
- 15:07Speaker 8: on air dot com.
- 15:10Speaker 1: This segment of the tree House is burrought to you.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Buy cook DFW Roofing and restoration called Daniel Cook for
- 15:17Speaker 1: your free roof inspection eight three to three cook dfw
- 15:21Speaker 1: the website, cookdfw dot com not only for that free
- 15:24Speaker 1: roof inspection, but to get yourself on the very cool
- 15:26Speaker 1: cook list and they call you once here and set
- 15:30Speaker 1: all that stuff up absolutely free. Eight three three Cook
- 15:32Speaker 1: DFW the website again cookdfw dot com so the TV
- 15:38Speaker 1: is still off as you can see, so nothing to be,
- 15:40Speaker 1: nothing to fear in my airbnb today.
- 15:43Speaker 2: What's in that mirror?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Shut up?
- 15:48Speaker 6: I looked. That's how I was like, what is he seeing?
- 15:54Speaker 1: Oh my god? What is that? Uh, it's art hanging
- 15:57Speaker 1: on the opposite wall, because it's a mirror and it's
- 16:00Speaker 1: it's not a window. The other vice, why do.
- 16:04Speaker 5: You have like a parking garage mirror in what seems
- 16:07Speaker 5: to be your living room?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Well, I think it's important to note that I don't
- 16:13Speaker 1: live here. This is an airbnbn Seattle. We're here for
- 16:17Speaker 1: a number of weeks enjoying the nice cool weather, which
- 16:21Speaker 1: it really is. The high today will be around eighty
- 16:23Speaker 1: and it was chilly this morning at fifty nine, which
- 16:27Speaker 1: is also the temperature that usually Dallas is for Christmas.
- 16:31Speaker 5: It's probably so you can see the ghost from you know,
- 16:34Speaker 5: multiple angles.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Jokes on you, tre it's more of a window into
- 16:37Speaker 1: my soul that the ghost look looks into, which, now
- 16:42Speaker 1: that I think about it, and now that I've said
- 16:43Speaker 1: it doesn't really sound like a joke on you. It
- 16:45Speaker 1: sounds like a prank on me. Yeah, But that's not
- 16:48Speaker 1: the only scary thing we covered yesterday. In addition to
- 16:51Speaker 1: the ghost, we also talked about the really scary story
- 16:56Speaker 1: about the New York couple that was paddle boarding near
- 17:00Speaker 1: the Hudson River in upstate New York and they were
- 17:02Speaker 1: attacked by a rabid beaver.
- 17:10Speaker 6: It just gets funnier every time you say it.
- 17:17Speaker 1: That is what is it, Tray?
- 17:19Speaker 5: That is probably one day how I will find my soulmate.
- 17:22Speaker 5: A is you know, some crazy blonde lady with big
- 17:24Speaker 5: cans is trying to you know, chase a rabid beaver down,
- 17:27Speaker 5: calling it, wanting to domesticate.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Name it bucky soul mate.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I actually, uh raj woke up early this morning with
- 17:37Speaker 1: a tummy bug. I woke up thinking about you and
- 17:39Speaker 1: your love life, Tray. Oh, because I actually did think
- 17:42Speaker 1: to myself, I wonder what Trey would do if he
- 17:47Speaker 1: were attacked by an angry beaver, and then I realized
- 17:52Speaker 1: that he would that he would say, if it's attached
- 17:54Speaker 1: to a crazy woman, I'd celebrate because I've found my soulmate.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I thought that was just gonna be her nickname, whatever
- 18:06Speaker 1: pet names the two of them come up with for
- 18:08Speaker 1: each other, that's totally their business, and I'd rather not
- 18:10Speaker 1: know about it.
- 18:13Speaker 6: Just rabbit beaver.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Mm hmm, like any like most people like, come on,
- 18:19Speaker 1: honey is outdated, babies overused.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Honey badgers, My little honey badgers.
- 18:30Speaker 1: That's what Trey says as he is he gets home
- 18:32Speaker 1: from work and slaps her on the button. She punches
- 18:36Speaker 1: him into face and off to the bedroom they go
- 18:40Speaker 1: odd love. It really is a tale as old as time.
- 18:50Speaker 1: So anyway, the story about the couple paddle boarding in
- 18:53Speaker 1: the Hudson River getting attacked by a rabbid beaver reminded
- 18:57Speaker 1: me of a little film that I still have no seen,
- 19:00Speaker 1: but I did remember the title and I remembered seeing
- 19:05Speaker 1: the trailer for it many years ago. And I'm wondering
- 19:09Speaker 1: if you guys have heard of this little film. Okay,
- 19:16Speaker 1: this little film came out, I believe in twenty fifteen,
- 19:19Speaker 1: and you know the term low budget movie, that's a
- 19:29Speaker 1: high bar for this movie called Zombiavers. I believe instead
- 19:35Speaker 1: of low budget film, this is what would be considered
- 19:38Speaker 1: a no budget film. And to prove it, I'm now
- 19:41Speaker 1: going to share with you the Zombiavers trailer. And I
- 19:44Speaker 1: don't remember, but I don't so like we all were
- 19:47Speaker 1: all aware of cocaine bear, right in order for there
- 19:51Speaker 1: to be a cocaine bear. Their first was a Zombieaver's.
- 20:00Speaker 4: What is that looks like a beaver?
- 20:02Speaker 6: Dam?
- 20:03Speaker 1: So here you've got three girls and bikinis hanging out
- 20:06Speaker 1: on a lake on top of one of those sun decks,
- 20:08Speaker 1: and the speci splashy. We're staying over there in my
- 20:15Speaker 1: cousin's place.
- 20:15Speaker 4: We were looking for beavers.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Well, and we all, yes, that's the answer. That's the
- 20:26Speaker 6: answer you give three women. Yes, I love it already.
- 20:31Speaker 1: And that's after you, that's after you do a nice
- 20:33Speaker 1: big chaw spit. I'd also like to point out that I,
- 20:41Speaker 1: while I did not get a chance, you had to
- 20:44Speaker 1: look up that actor's name who delivers that stellar line.
- 20:47Speaker 1: He's been in a number of mainstream films. Yeah, he
- 20:51Speaker 1: was familiar. He was in Cliffhanger. He was one of
- 20:53Speaker 1: the bad guys in Cliffhanger with Sylvester Stallone and John Liftgow.
- 21:00Speaker 6: So the end, Uh, what's the what's the other guy's name?
- 21:03Speaker 6: Tate David Jennifer Ands And I think he's in the
- 21:07Speaker 6: movies as well, in Zombieaver's No, no, no, in Cliffhanger.
- 21:11Speaker 6: But nobody's in Zombiaver's But this is where all the
- 21:15Speaker 6: money went? Was that one guy?
- 21:17Speaker 1: I know you say that, but after doing a little
- 21:20Speaker 1: bit of research this morning, after thinking about Trey and
- 21:24Speaker 1: his angry beaver soulmatee uh. There is also on YouTube
- 21:29Speaker 1: a little section where it shows that this movie had
- 21:33Speaker 1: a couple of surprise cameos. One was Bill Burr and
- 21:37Speaker 1: the other is John Mayer. I can only assume that
- 21:41Speaker 1: John Mayer H four went for goed any sort of
- 21:47Speaker 1: payment for the film and just accepted the three actresses
- 21:50Speaker 1: you saw sending themselves in the lake that.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Was his payment. Yeah. I just figured he was high
- 21:57Speaker 6: and stumbled onto a set.
- 21:59Speaker 5: Uh.
- 22:00Speaker 1: That also might be a possibility.
- 22:02Speaker 2: It's trying to write a love song to it.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Your body's like an angry beaver. That would be the
- 22:11Speaker 1: song that you and your soulmate danced to at the
- 22:13Speaker 1: wedding trade.
- 22:18Speaker 6: Yeah, so go burn and then well I can't what's
- 22:20Speaker 6: the guy's name that we just recognized.
- 22:23Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I didn't look it up.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I've had enough excitement for one day.
- 22:29Speaker 1: What was little Jack Russell terrier dog, which you know
- 22:32Speaker 1: gets it in this movie? From the producers, Kevin Fever,
- 22:37Speaker 1: the ring where the Miller's and American Pie. It's like
- 22:39Speaker 1: they went slumming it on this one. This is like
- 22:42Speaker 1: a total passion project.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Someone in there in the shower.
- 22:48Speaker 1: There's a beaver in the bathroom. So one of the
- 22:56Speaker 1: boyfriends beats it with a with a bat and they
- 22:59Speaker 1: see little bloody beaver pop prints that walk off. Hence
- 23:03Speaker 1: the zomb beavers. Please go swimming now, next level of zombie.
- 23:11Speaker 4: I have referred to any of you.
- 23:12Speaker 1: There might be more beavers.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Step blood.
- 23:23Speaker 2: I've never seen a real beaver before close a.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Fat wrap.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Turn against each other right now. I'm sorry, is it
- 23:40Speaker 1: too much for you? Try girl in.
- 23:45Speaker 2: The MKINI like spread?
- 23:51Speaker 6: Oh? Is that it's the beaver pov shot.
- 23:58Speaker 2: H Beavers on blondes. Please back it.
- 24:10Speaker 6: Up here, I know you got you have to sure.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I can do that. Mm hmm, hang on, hang on,
- 24:23Speaker 1: trying to get there.
- 24:23Speaker 6: We go.
- 24:27Speaker 2: We sure can't get through them, but.
- 24:38Speaker 6: No lamb jump enough for this.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Zomb beavers.
- 24:46Speaker 2: And that actor's name is Rex Lynn.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Ah.
- 24:50Speaker 6: Okay, I just want you to know somebody they walked
- 24:54Speaker 6: into a movie studio and said we got an idea.
- 24:57Speaker 6: It's called zombieavers. And Holly went, here's a bag of money.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Well, here's the thing ra as you saw in the
- 25:03Speaker 1: trailer where it said it's from the producers of all
- 25:06Speaker 1: these actual successful films, and they said, Hey, we want
- 25:09Speaker 1: to come in and do this dumb movie, and all
- 25:11Speaker 1: the studios were like, all right, sure, go for.
- 25:13Speaker 5: It was this on the heels of Sharknado.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I believe Sharknado was already on like its second or
- 25:20Speaker 1: third installment by the time Zombiavers came around.
- 25:23Speaker 5: I mean, if this had been COVID, then you go, okay, but.
- 25:33Speaker 6: I know that's the shot that that's the I guess
- 25:35Speaker 6: that would be their version of the money shot.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It would be. And I'm glad you bring that back
- 25:40Speaker 1: up because it's important that you not only witnessed the
- 25:44Speaker 1: trailer that I'm showing you of Zombieaver's, but perhaps we
- 25:48Speaker 1: should see the film in its entirety to appreciate the
- 25:55Speaker 1: artistic endeavor that I'm sure it was, but not only that,
- 25:59Speaker 1: but to truly appre shape this film. I think it's
- 26:01Speaker 1: important that you also appreciate the movie. Poster for it,
- 26:04Speaker 1: Trey zomb Beavers, they damn you to hell, and it's
- 26:14Speaker 1: a drawing of a chicken a bikini holding a knife,
- 26:19Speaker 1: leg spread, legs spread, with a zombie beaver headed right
- 26:23Speaker 1: towards her crotch.
- 26:26Speaker 6: It also looks like the gopher from caddy Shack that
- 26:28Speaker 6: they just kind of dressed up to make this zombieaver.
- 26:32Speaker 1: You know what, maybe it's a maybe it's maybe it's
- 26:35Speaker 1: a it's an offshoot, it's.
- 26:37Speaker 6: A repurposed gopher.
- 26:40Speaker 5: He was so and so out of work for so long,
- 26:43Speaker 5: he just took anything.
- 26:46Speaker 6: He's just on drugs, acually dried up. He's still doing
- 26:54Speaker 6: the Caddyshack dance and like ill to think thrown change
- 26:57Speaker 6: at him.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Like it's really hard when Holly would type casts. They
- 27:04Speaker 1: just turned you into a one trick roaded.

- 28:33Speaker 3: more obviously outcoming, outgoing they become. But I've had women,
- 28:37Speaker 3: for example, call the office and go, hey, you know
- 28:41Speaker 3: the one the cowboy, and I'm like, uh huh, it's

- 29:59Speaker 1: for some news, but not just any news, the most
- 30:06Speaker 1: stupid news that we could find. This is actually a
- 30:15Speaker 1: sad story and I need to put on my serious
- 30:18Speaker 1: face and my straight pants here a YouTuber has been
- 30:22Speaker 1: arrested and detained in India after cooking and eating a peacock.
- 30:29Speaker 1: That's my people, A video posted to Kodan prine Kumar's
- 30:40Speaker 1: channel of him consuming a curry apparently made from the
- 30:43Speaker 1: bird is a protected national species. Police said he was
- 30:49Speaker 1: detained on Monday and jailed after other videos in his
- 30:52Speaker 1: mobile phone confirmed that the bird he cooked was suspected
- 30:56Speaker 1: to be a peacock. Now, Kumar has denied the allegations
- 31:01Speaker 1: of recording himself cooking and eating a peacock and then
- 31:06Speaker 1: posting it on YouTube. However, evidence in the form of
- 31:11Speaker 1: the YouTube video he posted, which is titled Traditional Peacock
- 31:15Speaker 1: Curry Recipe, says he's probably guilty. He tried saying no, no, no,
- 31:24Speaker 1: that's not peacock, that's chicken. So what the investigators did
- 31:30Speaker 1: was is they found a pot of the leftover peacock
- 31:33Speaker 1: curry with quotations and sent it to a forensic lab
- 31:37Speaker 1: for testing. So if it comes back as peacock, he's
- 31:41Speaker 1: he's gonna be in trouble in India.
- 31:44Speaker 6: Yes, And it's like the Wild West over there too,
- 31:47Speaker 6: like the cops can beat confessions out of you, like
- 31:49Speaker 6: they still whoa, yeah, so he might have just made
- 31:52Speaker 6: chicken Kirky.
- 31:56Speaker 2: And a video that pissed off the.
- 31:57Speaker 6: Cops, like I'm gonna arrest his kid and whoop his ass.
- 32:04Speaker 6: It's very much like that. I was there for a
- 32:06Speaker 6: buddy of mine's wedding in two thousand and the cop
- 32:11Speaker 6: would stop like I would say, have a car service
- 32:13Speaker 6: come pick me up and take me back to my
- 32:15Speaker 6: aunt uncle's place from the wedding venue. And I get
- 32:19Speaker 6: stopped by the same cop every night, And finally I
- 32:21Speaker 6: was just like, I'm gonna be here for two more weeks.
- 32:23Speaker 6: How much do you how much money do you because
- 32:24Speaker 6: they just bought bribes, I was like, how much money
- 32:26Speaker 6: do you need? And at first I was very like, hey,
- 32:29Speaker 6: you can't do this. You can't it's extortion. And he's like,
- 32:34Speaker 6: I'll put you in prison and your family won't hear
- 32:36Speaker 6: from you for the next couple of weeks. So what
- 32:38Speaker 6: do you want to do? And I was like, cool, man,
- 32:40Speaker 6: how much is it gonna take? And he told me
- 32:41Speaker 6: the amount and I was like that that's about eight dollars. Uh,
- 32:45Speaker 6: you may have that. It is very much on that
- 32:49Speaker 6: on that level, so I'm sure that they the kid
- 32:52Speaker 6: was just making a video and now he's sitting in
- 32:56Speaker 6: Do you know what city this isn't? Do you know
- 32:57Speaker 6: what part of India?
- 32:59Speaker 1: Sure, I can get give you some more details. I
- 33:01Speaker 1: left a lot of them out because I don't know
- 33:03Speaker 1: the region and I don't know how to pronounce the
- 33:05Speaker 1: city's names.
- 33:08Speaker 6: That's when you send me the story first and think
- 33:11Speaker 6: about that.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I like to surprise you with with things.
- 33:15Speaker 6: Yes, my middle name is also Kumar.
- 33:17Speaker 1: So so he is now in jail on fourteen days
- 33:23Speaker 1: remand under the Wildlife Protection Act of India and now
- 33:27Speaker 1: the court will decide whether he'd remain inside or get bail.
- 33:31Speaker 1: That's according to the police superintendent in the southern state
- 33:34Speaker 1: of Telangana.
- 33:39Speaker 6: You want to spell it.
- 33:42Speaker 1: T E l A N G A n A now
- 33:45Speaker 1: the what stating it Telangana Telangana? Okay, I was pretty close.
- 33:50Speaker 1: The suspect, Prene Kumar from Fungalapi near Hyderabad, Yeah, denied
- 34:00Speaker 1: the allegations, claiming the dish was made with chicken. Once published,
- 34:06Speaker 1: the video provoked a backlash from social media Usit from
- 34:09Speaker 1: social media users, some of them accused the would be
- 34:12Speaker 1: social media star of promoting illegal wildlife consumption and disrespecting
- 34:15Speaker 1: a national symbol, according to the Times of India. Further
- 34:18Speaker 1: investigation claims his YouTube channel found a video demonstrating how
- 34:22Speaker 1: to cook a wild boar curry, which raised concerns about
- 34:25Speaker 1: whether it promoted illegal hunting. The Indian peacock, identified with
- 34:29Speaker 1: its vibrant blue color and a regal wingspan among males,
- 34:32Speaker 1: holds special symbolic importance in India.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I was about to ask it, Raj.
- 34:38Speaker 5: They if it's like a religious symbol or something, because
- 34:42Speaker 5: if you've ever been around peacocks, they're really men birds.
- 34:47Speaker 6: I's gonna say the same thing. I don't think they're
- 34:50Speaker 6: an I know they do a lot of like they
- 34:53Speaker 6: sell a lot of I don't know how this works,
- 34:54Speaker 6: but they sell a lot of like the peacock feathers,
- 34:56Speaker 6: like they make pens out of them, They make jewelry
- 34:58Speaker 6: out of them, so maybe that's why. But they're very mean.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Yeah, they are.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Actually I don't know what a group of peacocks is called,
- 35:07Speaker 1: but there is a number of them.
- 35:10Speaker 2: On the island.
- 35:22Speaker 1: You should be sorry.
- 35:28Speaker 6: I just saw a space light up and I knew
- 35:30Speaker 6: it was about to happen.
- 35:32Speaker 1: A group of peacocks is called a gang bang. I'm
- 35:39Speaker 1: so excited, which knows you look really really ashamed.
- 35:47Speaker 6: I'm ashamed of you and proud of you at the
- 35:49Speaker 6: same time. I don't know. I think this is what
- 35:51Speaker 6: being a father is like, Like I don't want to
- 35:56Speaker 6: claim you, but I love you.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Anyway. There are a handful of peacocks on the island
- 36:03Speaker 1: of Saint John. They're they're wild. They you know, they're
- 36:06Speaker 1: they roam around. I'm pulled into a gas station once.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I almost ran one over because it was hidden behind
- 36:12Speaker 1: a little half wall. But they seem pretty docile. I don't.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I don't see them jumping on anyone without their consent.
- 36:21Speaker 6: No, but they do like they they've been known to.
- 36:28Speaker 2: They do.
- 36:28Speaker 6: They're very very territorial birds. So like if you're in
- 36:32Speaker 6: their space, like they'll come after you. It's like the geese,
- 36:36Speaker 6: like the park or whatever like that comes after you
- 36:40Speaker 6: forgetting too close.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Swans will Swans will do that as well. I can
- 36:43Speaker 1: speak from experience. A swan will attack you.
- 36:45Speaker 6: Oh really, you've been a time by a swan. How
- 36:50Speaker 6: do we not know this story?
- 36:54Speaker 1: I've told it before.
- 36:56Speaker 6: You attacked by a swan? Okay, yeah, I've never heard
- 36:59Speaker 6: it happened.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I want me to tell you. All right, So there
- 37:02Speaker 1: I was. I was twelve or thirteen years old. My
- 37:06Speaker 1: mom and I were on a vacation at a place
- 37:07Speaker 1: called the Wio Ranch outside of San Antonio, Texas, and
- 37:10Speaker 1: we were doing a little horseback ride. And the dudes
- 37:15Speaker 1: that worked this vacation dude ranch, had told us that
- 37:18Speaker 1: if we ever go by this particular pond, be aware
- 37:21Speaker 1: of the black swan. And well, we go buy this pond.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I get off my horse and I'm walking around. I
- 37:28Speaker 1: think I'm skipping rocks in this pond, and out of nowhere,
- 37:31Speaker 1: my mom screams, look out, she's still on her horseback.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I look off to my left and I see this
- 37:36Speaker 1: black swan coming out of the water with its huge
- 37:39Speaker 1: wings flapping and coming at me and squawking at me.
- 37:42Speaker 1: And my mom bought us cowboy boots for the trip.
- 37:46Speaker 1: So I'm wearing Cowboy boots, which are brand new, which
- 37:48Speaker 1: anyone that's ever had new Cowboy boots, No, they're very
- 37:50Speaker 1: slippery on the bottom because they're not scuffed up yet.
- 37:53Speaker 1: So I slipped to my brand new ropers on the
- 37:58Speaker 1: rocks on the shore of this pond and I slip
- 38:01Speaker 1: and I fall, and next thing I know, this huge
- 38:03Speaker 1: black swan is over the top of me, attacking me
- 38:06Speaker 1: with its wings and trying to peck at me with
- 38:07Speaker 1: its beak. So I did the one thing I knew
- 38:09Speaker 1: to do from fourth grade taekwondo, and that was to
- 38:13Speaker 1: sidekick it in the neck.
- 38:15Speaker 6: Okay, all right, well you know I mean, and.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Back into the pond it went. And back on the
- 38:24Speaker 1: horse I got and rode off into the sunset, vowing
- 38:30Speaker 1: never to return to that pond again and wondering why
- 38:34Speaker 1: did this swan have to be black?
- 38:38Speaker 6: You can't have a gang bang without a black swan's
- 38:44Speaker 6: gonna run it.

- 40:01Speaker 1: twenty twenty four, some important things to give to before
- 40:05Speaker 1: we leave the Treehouse for the day. And an actual
- 40:11Speaker 1: sad story. A North Texas UPS driver crashed after passing
- 40:16Speaker 1: out from heat. That's according to the UPS Driver Union.
- 40:21Speaker 1: That was on Friday. The van was on sam Rayburn
- 40:25Speaker 1: near the Outer Loop in Anna when it left the
- 40:28Speaker 1: road and crashed into trees just off the highway. Video
- 40:30Speaker 1: showed the vehicle traveling at high speeds and barely avoiding
- 40:33Speaker 1: another vehicle before the crash. According to Henry Hun, who
- 40:36Speaker 1: took the video, said, the car just kept going left, left, left,
- 40:39Speaker 1: and then once that red car comes passing him, I'm like, oh,
- 40:41Speaker 1: you know, this is serious, and once boom he hits
- 40:44Speaker 1: the tree. I'm like, this is serious. Appreciate that eyewitness account.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Realizing that it's serious. When a out of control UPS
- 40:52Speaker 1: truck runs into a tree. The Anna Police Department confirmed
- 40:56Speaker 1: they responded to the crash. While it's under investigation, the
- 40:58Speaker 1: assistant police chief confirmed a medical incident did happen and
- 41:01Speaker 1: the driver was taken to the hospital. He was released
- 41:03Speaker 1: on Saturday and is recovering at home. It was soon
- 41:08Speaker 1: after that that the President and principal officer for the
- 41:12Speaker 1: Teamsters Local seven sixty seven unions said this could have
- 41:16Speaker 1: been a very dangerous situation for the driver along with
- 41:18Speaker 1: the general public. That is David Reeves. He says the
- 41:21Speaker 1: driver suffered from heat related illness. He says the driver
- 41:25Speaker 1: called UPS to alert him that he wasn't feeling well.
- 41:27Speaker 1: After six or seven hours on the job, he was
- 41:29Speaker 1: told to drop off his packages with another driver before
- 41:32Speaker 1: ending his shift. And the issue that, according to the
- 41:36Speaker 1: union they have is once one of our drivers explains
- 41:39Speaker 1: to the company that they have severe heat related injuries,
- 41:41Speaker 1: they need to be shut down for the day. This
- 41:43Speaker 1: is unacceptable. He plans to sit down with the company
- 41:46Speaker 1: and discuss what happened. I think maybe it's time for
- 41:52Speaker 1: those brown trucks to get some air conditioning.
- 41:54Speaker 6: Yeah, they don't have it right. I was going to
- 41:56Speaker 6: ask you that they don't have air conditioning inside the car.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Now, for the most part, they drive around with the
- 41:59Speaker 2: door open.
- 42:01Speaker 6: That's what it is, okay, Yeah, and in this heat,
- 42:03Speaker 6: that's I mean, I can't even imagine.
- 42:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm actually amazed that first time ever hearing of that,
- 42:08Speaker 5: because that does seem like, uh, it happened more often.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I do believe something like this did happen last year.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to see if it's in this story somewhere,
- 42:21Speaker 1: but I thought I read somewhere that a UPS driver
- 42:24Speaker 1: had actually died from a heat related situation last year.
- 42:31Speaker 6: Hm. Yeah, they need to. I mean, I don't even
- 42:34Speaker 6: know how you how you make new vehicles without AC. Well.
- 42:39Speaker 1: According to this all vehicles purchased after January first, twenty
- 42:43Speaker 1: twenty four, will have air conditioning installed inside, but the
- 42:47Speaker 1: local union says at this point, the vast majority of
- 42:49Speaker 1: vehicles do not have air conditioning.
- 42:53Speaker 6: That's crazy in Texas. That's insane to me.
- 42:58Speaker 1: It's insane anywhere, but yeah, you're right, especially in Texas.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not there right now, but I still
- 43:04Speaker 1: get the weather alerts. I still get the excessive heat
- 43:06Speaker 1: warnings on my phone. For North Texas. I mean, it's
- 43:10Speaker 1: it's insane to have anything without any outside job like that,
- 43:13Speaker 1: without you know, certain protocols and guidelines in place to
- 43:17Speaker 1: make sure you know, you don't die just because you're
- 43:19Speaker 1: delivering some packages to people, because you've got to make
- 43:21Speaker 1: sure they get their new AA chips in time.
- 43:30Speaker 6: And now the irony would have been if he crushed
- 43:33Speaker 6: it because he was hammered.
- 43:36Speaker 1: They do not think alcohol has played any role in
- 43:40Speaker 1: that in this particular situation. But it's also a great
- 43:44Speaker 1: reason for you now to keep in mind. This is
- 43:46Speaker 1: why it's important to listen to every single show every
- 43:47Speaker 1: single day, because we will call back jokes from the
- 43:50Speaker 1: day before, and you don't want to be left in
- 43:51Speaker 1: the dark wondering why was that so funny. Listen to
- 43:53Speaker 1: every show and you'll know why that was funny.
- 43:56Speaker 2: And that's the Patreon show. So it's good. Give us
- 44:00Speaker 2: you five dollars.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I'm going to turn that into our next Treehouse T shirt.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Give us you five dollars. And finally, staying with Texas News, here,
- 44:18Speaker 1: stinging bearded fireworms are washing up on Texas beaches. Bearded
- 44:24Speaker 1: fireworms are washing up on Texas beaches and without even
- 44:30Speaker 1: reading the whole story. My first thought is are these
- 44:34Speaker 1: actual worms or is this just what South Padre calls
- 44:39Speaker 1: Texas State fraternities on spring break?
- 44:43Speaker 2: Why U TA has the same same week we do.
- 44:48Speaker 1: You have the same spring break week, but only Texas
- 44:51Speaker 1: State has its own strain of chlamydia.
- 44:53Speaker 6: That is very true, I will give you that, and
- 44:58Speaker 6: we're very proud of it, like everybody knows.
- 45:00Speaker 5: And I would guess Texas State is probably fifteen percent
- 45:04Speaker 5: of the size of UT and uh, but I bet
- 45:07Speaker 5: it has more strippers.
- 45:09Speaker 1: It does. Yeah, fifteen percent of the size of UT.
- 45:12Speaker 1: One hundred percent of the dancers in Austin.
- 45:16Speaker 6: God bless the Yellow Rose.
- 45:22Speaker 1: May it live forever. Oh you better not. I just
- 45:32Speaker 1: jinxed it, raj. The Yellow Rose burns down this week.
- 45:35Speaker 6: I think Bruce Blanche is dead.
- 45:38Speaker 2: No, Bruce bl Lanch is not dead.
- 45:41Speaker 1: He's still out there somewhere writing jokes. Thanks for hanging
- 45:47Speaker 1: out with us in the treehouse. I'm gonna say something
- 45:49Speaker 1: right now that have not said in a few years.
- 45:52Speaker 1: See you tomorrow.
