- 0:31I have two very special people here that are on the podcast. Ladies,
- 0:38introduce yourself, Welcome, Hello, I'm so happy to be back. It
- 0:43is trend from the Wana's Cafe if you you know, if oh, they
- 0:48know, they definitely know. I talk about this woman way too often on
- 0:52this podcast out before. I'm so glad to be back. I'm so excited.
- 0:57We just did a part one on the Wanness Cafe. Yes, and
- 1:00I'm really excited for you to hear all the rest of our little bucket list
- 1:03for you to do this spring. And my name is Fernanda. I am
- 1:07from a Better You. That is my podcast, and this is my first
- 1:11feature on the Hawtgirl Energy Podcast. So I'm very excited. Yes, finally
- 1:15we needed you on here like so long ago. I feel like I feel
- 1:18like a lot of my listeners have wanted you on here for so long,
- 1:22So I'm so happy you were able to join us. Hey, I know
- 1:25everyone together. So, as Trend said, we recorded an episode right before
- 1:30this one about Spring must have Spring bucket List, and then we are now
- 1:36here for the part too, So make sure to check in the show notes
- 1:41for the first part of this episode. If you missed it, make sure
- 1:44to check out the Wellness Cafe. So let's get into part two of the
- 1:48Spring bucket List, because I think there's a lot of things that we need
- 1:53to do this spring season to get the vibes up, to get everything just
- 1:57feeling good for the spring season. So one that I'm going to highlight is
- 2:04I love getting out of the house and just doing coffee dates with my best
- 2:08friend and making it a whole experience by going on a walk together, whether
- 2:14it's your partner or your bestie. I love getting a good coffee. And
- 2:17I think being here in La, which I never mentioned. We are here
- 2:21in La for the panel, which you guys knew that I mentioned in the
- 2:24previous episode, And that is why I couldn't post last week is because you
- 2:29know, traveling has been a little hectic, but that's okay. But we've
- 2:32gotten so many coffees here in LA and I honestly couldn't tell you which one
- 2:37is better, but it makes me so happy just leaving the house, getting
- 2:40a coffee, going on a walk together. That has been like my favorite
- 2:44thing every single morning that we've done here. Why just grabbing a coffee,
- 2:47Like, why is that a whole Why is that a whole event? Why?
- 2:51Why is that whole thing? I know why? It's so fun,
- 2:53It's so fun, and let's be honest, like usually the coffee is extremely
- 2:55overpriced, but it makes the vibe so good. I don't know, it's
- 3:00just it's worth it. It's worth just like doing it for your mental health,
- 3:05just being outside getting the fresh air, doing it with a friend.
- 3:07It makes the whole experience just ten times better when you're doing it with your
- 3:10best oh, one hundred percent. You always need to pick up a little
- 3:13sweet treat before hawk or walk. Yeah, but the podcasting, you'll sweat
- 3:16drink it's necessary. I agree. And also knowing that it's spring, a
- 3:21lot of coffee shops have spring drinks that are in addition, and I've been
- 3:25seeing a lot of coffee shops have like lavender cold foam or could be machas
- 3:30too, Yeah, maachas there's so many different drinks that you can pick from,
- 3:32and if you haven't gone even a spring drink, I think that could
- 3:36be a cute little excursion. Yeah, try a new drink. Yeah,
- 3:39cries yourself. Actually, why is it always so scary to try a new
- 3:44drink, Because it's like, if you don't like it, then it's like,
- 3:46I will suck it up for like the seven dollars it is, I
- 3:49will drink it. Oh, one hundred percent. I would never waste a
- 3:52seven dollars coffee. Now, I'm not a big maja girl, so like
- 3:54for me, I'm like, oh, that is a lot of money to
- 3:58take the risk of it not be good or not right, but maybe it's
- 4:01worth the rest. You tried my macha and I did. And I also
- 4:04tried trends trend god as stingulary. Yeah, strawberry Macha from Sunlife. It
- 4:11was actually very good. I will say. Yeah, this is the thing.
- 4:14I think a lot of Macha haters don't get it with sweeteners. So
- 4:16if you go if you don't like macha. Actually I was gonna say,
- 4:18and you go to a coffee shop, get some vanilla syere up in there,
- 4:21and it does change the game. It's actually not as bad as I
- 4:25thought, honestly, Like I think it is better at the coffee shops.
- 4:28I definitely have not mastered it at home. Maybe one day, but I
- 4:31agree. I do think it just seems scary. I think because it's green,
- 4:38and I have green juices all the time. So I don't know why
- 4:41I think it's scary. But I'm just such a big coffee girl that I
- 4:44feel like it's such a hard time for me to like let that go.
- 4:46But like maybe I just have both a little bit of an attachment to the
- 4:51coffee. Yes, Okay, I'm gonna go next for my spring bucket list
- 4:58item or what is it? Okay, My next bucket list idea for you
- 5:09this spring is one that I've been wanting to make for a while. It's
- 5:12one that I've had my Pinterest boards and my friends want to make them as
- 5:15well. And it is getting air dry clay and getting little charms and beads
- 5:18and making little trinkets or like phone cases. I don't know if you guys
- 5:23have seen it, but it is super cute. You can get like this
- 5:26air dry clay at Amazon at your local craft shop. I know we have
- 5:30like Michaels in Canada. I think you can definitely get some like seashells,
- 5:34beads, little gemstones. You can honestly play around with it. You can
- 5:38even go to like the thrift stores in your area, get like a little
- 5:42beaded necklace, break it apart, use those charms. You can get creative
- 5:45with it. Get this air dry clay, make little trinkets, make rings.
- 5:48Honestly, I think this is such a fun activity to do with friends
- 5:53and such a way to again show your little personality through the things that you're
- 5:56wearing. And I think it's super fun and there's ways that you can make
- 5:59it very class. See if like colorful isn't your vibe, even though that
- 6:02is the vibe for spring. But if you want to do it all like
- 6:04gold and shells, I think it will look super like Coastal Granddaughter or very
- 6:12like you know, you can play around with it, but I think that
- 6:14is super fun yact. Yeah, I actually love crafts like that, like
- 6:18do robbies. Yeah, like painting anything like that, like I've been wanting.
- 6:24I did this last year for the fall season, and that is just
- 6:29getting a mug from Dolorama and painting on it. And I think for the
- 6:32spring season, it would be so cute to paint flowers on a mug.
- 6:35It is a little floral mug in your home. It is how cute is
- 6:39that for the spring season. I was doing that with a friend. Yeah,
- 6:42I was literally just thinking. Like the day before I came to LA,
- 6:46I took out all my crafts out of my apartment, like I had
- 6:47them in the weirdest like drawers, like under my bed in like cabinets.
- 6:51I took everything out and I didn't realize how many like art supplies that I
- 6:55had. And honestly, when I was younger, I used to want to
- 6:57make a DIY channel so reach only that creative energy. And I feel like
- 7:00a lot of people when they were younger, it took like art class.
- 7:03That's literally how I started my channel. I'm telling you. It was like
- 7:08stocks. Yeah I wanted. I did not know that. I didn't know
- 7:13that. No, I did. She made a lover's bodysuit. I know
- 7:15she made a lover's body suit, but I did not think that. She
- 7:19started her her influencing career on our YouTube channel for DIY. Great a great
- 7:27idy craft? What did you? What was it? Scrap books? Bracelets.
- 7:30D I why, hey, Dare, why dye your hair brown?
- 7:34At home? I was out here dipping my head upside down into a pot
- 7:38of boiling water with nutmeg in it. Wait, why do I feel like
- 7:41you di wied something during COVID? Oh at that painting in my apartment.
- 7:45Yep, there we go. Oh I was making those clay rings. Yeah,
- 7:48making clay coasters, like hot girls are doing crafts girls because it is
- 7:55one therapeutic, Yes it is. It's something to do besides being on your
- 7:59phone, you know what I mean, Like getting off your phone, getting
- 8:01off social media, doing something else besides that I think is so crucial.
- 8:07I also think this is food for thought for you guys, because I said
- 8:09this on my podcast like last year. But there was some like I found
- 8:13this Only pintreess are like taktok. I don't even know what like quote it
- 8:15was, But like, when was the last time you taught your hands to
- 8:18do something new? That is a question that you should ask yourself, because
- 8:22when was the last time you taught yourself how to paint, how to knit,
- 8:24how to do I don't know rainbow loom. It's been a long time
- 8:26since I did that, so like doing all those little things. I'll tell
- 8:30you a secreting entire. Yeah, it was really fun. It was really
- 8:35fun. Therapeutic, therapeutic, you know, we get lost in it.
- 8:39My girlfriends every single Christmas, they have a little Christmas cottage weekend and they
- 8:43always knit chunky blankets. And I haven't been able to go the past two
- 8:48times just due to other commitments. But I've been wanting to make a chunky
- 8:54blanket for my home since then. I do know how to know. I
- 8:58used to knit, like a long long time ago. I knit myself a
- 9:01scarf a hat, but that was so long ago that I actually don't even
- 9:05remember the last time I did that. So that was very fun. My
- 9:09mom's friends do it. My mom's friends also do that, Like all the
- 9:11girls go to a cabin, but they make Christmas cards. But they have
- 9:15like all the different like paper and stickers and like supplies to make these cards.
- 9:18Then they send them off for Christmas, so you could even make cards
- 9:22for people's birthdays. I feel like that's super fun. My friend always does
- 9:24that and like water paints them or like watercolors, and it is like so
- 9:28special. I always like keep those cards. So yeah, I think it's
- 9:31more intimate, more personal anything with my name on it. I also just
- 9:35love like homes. Anyone else like that. Personalize anything is good. Yeah,
- 9:39this wasn't even going to be my bucket list thing, but just going
- 9:43off of the crafts, I have been meaning to sit down and do a
- 9:46really good scrap booking session for so long. If you grab all your friends
- 9:50print photos, get a photo book to put them on, get the glue
- 9:56sticks, get the little ribbon stickers. Because one craft's fun new activity.
- 10:01But the second thing that I've been thinking about all the time is everyone used
- 10:05to have photo albums, and now we don't have photo like people our age.
- 10:09When do you guys go to any of your friend's houses and they have
- 10:13photo albums? Like no, and one day we could just lose all of
- 10:16our photos and all of our memories connected to our phone. We don't control
- 10:20that. And I've really been wanting to print all my photos out and make
- 10:22like scrapbook memory books. You know, it's funny. I actually had that
- 10:28as one of my wedding things is that I would love to get like other
- 10:31polaroid pictures or just pictures, film pictures to be able to print out and
- 10:35just do an entire scrap book of just photos that people have taken at the
- 10:39wedding. I think that's such a cute and personal idea. I love that
- 10:43because it's so great to have everything digital now, but I think there really
- 10:46is something a lot more special about having it actually physically printed out for like
- 10:54a keepsake and just like to flip back on and look through. And people
- 10:58always forget about having ps the coll photos. Yeah, I also feel like
- 11:03old photos, you end up deleting them even if you don't mean to,
- 11:05and like, I don't even know where my photos are from, like when
- 11:07I was like twelve or like thirteen, but if I had those printed out,
- 11:09I would definitely look at them religiously, and I feel like you can
- 11:13see how far you've grown, or like everything you've been through. So the
- 11:16other way of like a modern scrap book that I've seen, I don't know
- 11:18if you've seen it, is that people are starting to make like custom coffee
- 11:22table books, and they're very nice, but doing actual printed photos of moments
- 11:28from other a trip or you know, a wedding or whatever, and you
- 11:33want to be able to remember that, like having a whole coffee table book
- 11:35dedicated that you could put on your coffee table and be able to look back
- 11:39and remember those memories. I think is so special and that's something that I've
- 11:43really been wanting to doing. Another spring bucketless idea I had was going on
- 11:48a hike. Can we talk about how fun it is to go on a
- 11:50hike just being outside again, enjoying the nature. But I don't know,
- 11:56A you're getting a workout in b it doesn't even feel like a workout,
- 11:58like you're literally just walking on an incline in nature. And I don't know,
- 12:03I feel like the hikes in LA are definitely very fun to do.
- 12:07Can I just say that I am from BC? I love YESO oh my
- 12:11goodness. Yes. And I've never been on a hike before. I literally
- 12:16when I went to Vancouver. When I went to Vancouver with my parents,
- 12:18I literally hiked every second day. I think I did it about four hikes
- 12:22in Vancouver. No, I've never been on a hike. I'm a hike
- 12:26vision. My god. We need to do this together as a group.
- 12:30We are going on a hawk girl hawkgirl Uhi? How girlike? No?
- 12:35I need to it's definitely I think also, if you go on hikes that
- 12:39have rewarding views. It's like it makes the whole experience so much better.
- 12:41Then. You know, you can get some photos taken again, a whole
- 12:43experience out of it. You can bring some snacks, some drinks again,
- 12:48get a good workout in, put a cute workout set. Yeah, I
- 12:50don't know. I definitely am trying to do that here in LA. I
- 12:54don't really want to do that. I think that'll be fun. Yeah.
- 12:56I also think it's important if you haven't done it before, to go with
- 12:58other beginners. I feel like that's kind of fun because I know a lot
- 13:01of my friends are like expert hikers and they probably don't want to like trail
- 13:03behind with me, But I will happily go with another beginner, and I
- 13:07think it'll be fun for both of us. And going for a hike is
- 13:09also really good because it targets your glup medius, which is like getting that
- 13:13shell, yes booty, which is something that doesn't get worked with just squats
- 13:18and like deadlifts, so you're working out a new muscle, you're getting outside
- 13:20of nature. You know, it's a win win. What else could you
- 13:24ask for? We're trying to get that shell for summer. That's something I
- 13:28need to work on because I feel it's so hard to do stuff like exercises
- 13:33that target your shelf. It's like so easy to do squats and deadlifts,
- 13:37but going on a hike, there you go sold. I'm in Another bucket
- 13:43list idea I have for the spring is to go to more music festivals and
- 13:46concerts and overall just seeing live performances. Sometimes there isn't always concerts and festivals
- 13:52in your area, but I'm sure there's a random little local bar with some
- 13:56live performances. And honestly, even if you don't even like the genre of
- 13:58music it is, it's kind of fun and wholesome to see live music.
- 14:01I feel like the crowd is almost more enthusiastic. Everyone's excited to be there.
- 14:05There's usually some people dancing. But if you do have the option to
- 14:09go to a festival or a concert, I really think it is so important
- 14:11to make memories and not just you know, letting the days, the months,
- 14:16the years pass by. I feel like it's so much easier to remember
- 14:20years or times in your life when you like, did something super fun and
- 14:22exciting that you've ever done before. And I feel like festival season is such
- 14:26a big thing now, so you can plan your outfits, you can go
- 14:28with your friends, you can make a weekend out of it. I'm personally
- 14:31super excited to go to Coachella with trend so well, not even like music
- 14:35festivals, but does anyone else in their hometown have like food festivals, Like
- 14:39it's like the Greek festival or a tulip festival. I feel like there's always
- 14:45things going on in your city, and I think it's just crucial to even
- 14:50just google, Okay, what's going on in the city that I live.
- 14:52What can I do this weekend to get out of the house, you know,
- 14:54spend time with my loved ones. And yeah, so I feel like,
- 14:58yes, if there's concert some music, let's do it. But also,
- 15:01if there's a Greek festival, if there's a tulip festival, look into
- 15:05doing it with a friend. I think that's funny. There's a cherry blossom
- 15:07festival in Vancouver right now. What I'm sad I'm not there for but I
- 15:11went last year and it was super fun. Me and my boyfriend like the
- 15:13trees. Yeah, it's so gorgeous. We like biked all around and they
- 15:16had food. We had like some grilled cheese. It was so freaking good
- 15:20and again really good photo op. That's another really good bucket list idea is
- 15:24get it on your bike again. I love I love biking, Like,
- 15:28let's talk about that. I'd like got to flashback to us biking the sea
- 15:33in the summer. Yes, when I went to visit train in Vancouver,
- 15:37we biked around what was that area again in the Stanley Park Stanley Park stunning.
- 15:43That was probably one of the most beautiful bike rads I've ever been on
- 15:45my life. And you guys know, I'm in my spinning era, but
- 15:48I don't know. When I'm biking, I'm not like spinning. I'm enjoying,
- 15:54you know, the biking experience. And I feel like that's just something
- 15:58that people don't do enough of a casual bike ride, like after dinner when
- 16:03the sun is setting and you just want to go on a casual bike ride.
- 16:06Like that's what we do at my Turns host every single days, like
- 16:08the little acreage, and it's like going for a bike and listening to the
- 16:11crickets and watching the sunset. Yeah, it is so fun. I love
- 16:15biking. In Vancouver, we went biking too one time, do you remember,
- 16:18Yes, it was Hobby Got Spring. It was Hobby Girls Spray.
- 16:22That was the beginning of Hobby Girls Spray. It was so much fun.
- 16:25We biked to Granville Island, which is like a little market in Vancouver,
- 16:29and we had food there. I think it was honestly, it was so
- 16:32long ago now, but it was so fun. Best date, it's the
- 16:34perfect best you date. And yeah, you get a little workout in.
- 16:37We're a cute little workouts set. And also if you're in the market to
- 16:41buy a new bike, there are so many cute vintage bikes, like,
- 16:44oh I love Vengag. There's very cute ones. I have a little pastel
- 16:47yellow one and it gets me in the spring mood. I want a pasta
- 16:49pink cruiser bike. Yeah, so badly. Yes, tell you also down.
- 16:56Yeah you can get the little log and like I feel like you can.
- 17:00I have a little basket for to say you need the basket. You
- 17:03get the basket. Everything in the basket. You can even do like the
- 17:04basket and do the picnic in one and yeah, literally all on one day.
- 17:12Speaking of the biking kills, a little sidetrack here. We went to
- 17:15Soul Cycle, Yes and La what were your thoughts? Tell us your thoughts
- 17:19on this. Okay, Era gonna be a Canadian girly here for a sec
- 17:23because if you go to spin cow and you've never been to a cycle class,
- 17:27it is totally different, in my opinion, a good different. But
- 17:33it is intense. Let me tell you, you steak girlies that do soul
- 17:37cycle all the time, go you. It is so freaking hard, but
- 17:41you know it was it was good. I did enjoy it. I felt
- 17:44like I was able to, you know, adapt to it quickly. But
- 17:47the moves are a little different, so I do have to get used to
- 17:49it a bit. But when we start like mixing the dancing and the spinning
- 17:52at the same time, I do get a little confused. Yes, it's
- 17:56hard to like get to the rhythm for sure, because your feet in your
- 17:59arms at the same time. It's hard to like for me. I'm I
- 18:03feel like it's easier for me because you know, I do it all the
- 18:04time. But because I don't know the moves, it's still hard. And
- 18:07then you're moving your head, you're throwing the towel around. I'm like,
- 18:11what is going on? It's a full dance class, you know. I'm
- 18:12realizing now my problem might just be that I have no rhythm because I couldn't
- 18:15get that TikTok to, I can't get the taps down when I'm doing my
- 18:19push ups. I might spend mic like we just have a rhythm issue over
- 18:23here. Yes, but no, we love cel cycle. It was it
- 18:26was good. It was a good workout, and we got sunlight, which
- 18:30is another favorite spot that we love to go to for post workout smoothies and
- 18:33breakfasts and machas and coffees. Is so yeah, visiting LA really is the
- 18:38wellness girly dream. It feels like it really is. My wellness lifestyle is
- 18:42just elevated to the best it possibly can be and Ila. So if you're
- 18:48listening to this and you love wellness, which I'm assuming that you do,
- 18:52you should definitely put LA on your overall travel bucket list, not just Spring
- 18:57bucket list. You'll have to visit one day to get all the wellness activities
- 19:02done, the workout classes, the food, the vibes. It's just yeah,
- 19:07a wellness girls dream. But moving back to the spring bucket lists,
- 19:14I already did a full episode about this, so I'm sorry if you've already
- 19:17heard but I mean, I'm sure you've talked about it too, Kales,
- 19:19but it's just you know, you can never be reminded enough to spring reset
- 19:23and clean your life. Yes, so we're talking closet clean out. We're
- 19:30talking scrubbing the base boards, the windowsills, doing it in the pantry.
- 19:36Wait a second, spring reset just meant the closet, Yeah, wait,
- 19:40hopefully. Now we're talking about the items in the back of the fridge that
- 19:45you neglect and you always just pushed the side. We're grabbing those out and
- 19:48we are throwing them away. Because once you declutter your life and your house,
- 19:52you declutter your mind, and a clear space equals a clear mind,
- 19:56and you can have more clarity heading into the summer. I literally just did
- 20:02a spring reset at my house before coming on this trip, to the point
- 20:06where I literally bought a magic eraser and I was wiping my walls. Yeah,
- 20:10like the marks on my walls, Like who am I? That is
- 20:12the ultimate reset. If you're wiping your walls with a freaking magic eraser,
- 20:18you are doing a good job. I don't have to say. I wipe
- 20:22my walls at least like once every two months, and it literally is crazy
- 20:26how marked up your walls. Get white, white walls on the walls,
- 20:30I guarantee. I was gonna say for the girlies that find it a little
- 20:38bit more challenging to do the deep cleaning, because I personally hate cleaning,
- 20:42and I know, like Tren and that's like her pleasure her that literally,
- 20:48yeah, I'm sorry. It's not to struggle with it though, but when
- 20:52you teach yourself to slowly and surely start cleaning, it just it really has
- 20:59changed my entire life. Ye, yeah, it does. I know.
- 21:00I was gonna say, though, for the people that are not, you
- 21:03know, quite there yet. I feel like putting some really loud music all
- 21:08throughout my house really yet to be inspired and in the mood to clean,
- 21:11and sometimes even like putting the intention the day before that, like tomorrow is
- 21:15gonna be a clean day. Tomorrow, I'm gonna clean, I'm gonna wake
- 21:18up early, I'm gonna put a workout set on. I feel like that
- 21:19also helps me, like having something that's like title my body not lose.
- 21:23I don't feel lazy. I put a bun on, I put music on,
- 21:26and then all of a sudden, then I start liking it. It's
- 21:29something about just starting to clean when I'm like not mentally prepared for it that
- 21:32I hate and I feel like it's really difficult to get into it. Oh
- 21:36one hundred percent. I always say to schedule a time, like, look
- 21:38at your calendars. It's gonna say a planner next time that girls know you
- 21:42need a planner. And if you physically write it down in your planner,
- 21:47I'm telling you right now, you're gonna have that motivation boost just to get
- 21:49the cleaning done. And I'm totally on board for and like I legit play
- 21:53music from my Alexa to go all around the house because that's the only thing
- 21:57that keeps me going because if I don't, I will stop, pause,
- 22:00go on my phone. You know, if it's complete silence, I need
- 22:03some type of distraction. Whereas I feel like the music completely puts me in
- 22:07the zone of just wanting to clean my entire house and I just go from
- 22:11you know, oh one hundred percent. You know, and even if you
- 22:14want to top it off, I mean, I don't make the rules,
- 22:15but it is a scientific fact that you're a hundred times more productive if you
- 22:18put a hair mask in and a face mask on, you put ankle weights
- 22:22on, oh my goodness, elevating workout. It elevate those spring resets around
- 22:29here, and you you will leave this feeling like a brand new girl.
- 22:32I promise you that even setting a fifty minute timer, you can get so
- 22:37much. Setting timers are so helpful. I did that recently. I set
- 22:41a forty minute timer, and it really motivates you to get it done quick,
- 22:47like it's a huge game changer. Actually setting a timer does make a
- 22:51huge difference, I find. Okay, another thing that I've really been wanting
- 22:52to do is the girl is here now that I've been wanting to be in
- 22:56my hosting era, so I've been wanting to host We're at my House.
- 23:00I love the idea of just inviting all my friends over, having the house
- 23:04fully decorated, just into a full spring theme. I think would be super
- 23:10cute if we all lived in the same city. I know, imagine like
- 23:12a spring themed Easter brunch, just doing like pancakes, just having like mini
- 23:19eggs, crapes. I've been really wanting to do like something with carrot cake.
- 23:25I don't even know. I just think it would be so freaking cute
- 23:27to do that. And yeah, I just love the idea of hosting a
- 23:32super cute brunch with even like cute little cocktails like yes, and making little
- 23:37florable queas all around. Yeah, tablescape. Yes, you can printing on
- 23:41a menu. You can print it so much. Yes, I love the
- 23:45idea of just like how people do the aesthetic menus, you know what's on
- 23:48the menu for the day. It's just so fun to do. Even just
- 23:52the whole planning of it sounds amazing. Like I love just decorating my home
- 23:57in any way possible, Like I love that, and I love planning.
- 24:00I love hosting. So that's definitely something that I've been really wanting to do
- 24:04this spring season. I was gonna say. I hosted a little Gallantine's Day
- 24:10brunch with my friends in February, and it was so much fun. I
- 24:14made a chocolate covered strawberries the night before, which was super fun to have.
- 24:17If you make something like even you make something or whatever you make it,
- 24:19it looks so cute on the table. And also I did a little
- 24:22brunch for my birthday in October, but I had all my friends come and
- 24:26we made little sandwiches together, which was really fun. I bought like all
- 24:30the ingredients and then we made little sandwiches cut off the crust and it was
- 24:33so cute. I feel like all my friends had a really good time doing
- 24:36it. And even if your friends aren't, you know, the type of
- 24:38people to do this kind of stuff, I feel like sometimes even inviting them
- 24:41gives them the chance to like dress up, play kind of like kind of
- 24:45like you would when you were younger, almost like a little tea party vibe.
- 24:48My friends always love like dressing up and like wearing the cutest little things
- 24:52or like dresses or things that they don't always get to wear if they don't
- 24:55have like events or like whatever, and they have so much fun wearing it,
- 24:57so oh one hundred percent. Like even it may feel weird to invite
- 25:00your friends over for an event like this if it's not something you typically do,
- 25:04but here's the thing, no one's going to say no to dressing up
- 25:07and coming over to an event. Everyone wants to everyone yes, put on
- 25:11their best outfit and like get that Pinterest fit off. So invite your friends
- 25:17over. Okay, don't be scared. I actually am in the process of
- 25:19hosting I guess my first twenty eight yes, my birthday party, my first
- 25:25little hosting event of the year. And we are doing a twenty eight,
- 25:32but eight as an ate because we're going to be eating. Let me tell
- 25:36you, it's actually a wine in pasta tasting, so we have past I
- 25:42know. I wish you guys could come. We're doing different pastas, different
- 25:45wines, and it's pink themes, so everyone's coming in a pink outfit and
- 25:52it's just all going to be that. It's just these early vibes of bows,
- 25:56you name it. And I'm just excited. So that's my first little
- 25:59hosting moments. The photos are going to be so good. Yeah, I
- 26:03think so too. I'm gonna put a bunch of balloons in the house.
- 26:06Ari's baby all that. It's gonna be really fun. So I'm really excited
- 26:10for that. That is gonna be really fun. I have not hosted like
- 26:12a birthday party and so long, Like even just saying that out loud,
- 26:15I'm like, what a birthday party? Like? Usually I'll do like a
- 26:18dinner somewhere, but I've never done like a birthday party in my home in
- 26:22a long time. I don't know. It's gonna be so much fun.
- 26:25I love birthday parties. I'm a big birthday fanatic. Also, I was
- 26:29gonna say about the hosting thing. I feel like a lot of people struggle
- 26:32with making friends in their twenties and keeping friends as well. So I think
- 26:34that this is a great way to get all your friends together if you haven't
- 26:38seen each other in a while, and also if you feel like you have
- 26:41a lot of individual friends and maybe it's a good time to gather them all
- 26:45together and say to them to connect. They can all meet each other,
- 26:49yeah, and you just get to strengthen that bond. I feel like inviting
- 26:52them to your house is a little bit intimate, but you know, you
- 26:56get one step deeper into being closer friends. So I can't believe'm turning twenty
- 27:00eight. Like after this conversation, I'm like, oh my goodness, I
- 27:03can't believe it's my birthday next week. So crazy. Okay, guys,
