Speaker 1: Why Christmas? Why Christmas? Amen? And the thing about Christmas

Speaker 1: is that it's a great time, a great season, a

Speaker 1: great holiday. Amen. But why why do we celebrate it

Speaker 1: as believers? Why does anyone celebrate Christmas? Well, we're going

Speaker 1: to see what the Word of God has to say

Speaker 1: about the reason for the season, because I know we

Speaker 1: say it all the time, Jesus is the reason for

Speaker 1: the season. And other people are saying why, including me,

Speaker 1: Like why, you know, it's a legitimate question to ask

Speaker 1: why Christmas? Christmas is a time to celebrate the reality

Speaker 1: of Christ's presence in our lives. How about that you

Speaker 1: give me an opportunity to celebrate Jesus in any day.

Speaker 1: I'll take that opportunity to celebrate them. Amen, His birth,

Speaker 1: his life is death and his resurrection. Of course, I'll

Speaker 1: celebrate that all day, every day. You don't got to

Speaker 1: give me a day on the calendar. Amen, I'll celebrate

Speaker 1: that all the time. Why because He's did a transformational

Speaker 1: thing in my life. What about you? God saved me,

Speaker 1: He changed me, transformed me, renewed me, restored me, redeem me,

Speaker 1: delivered me, sanctified me. And I'm still in progress, amen.

Speaker 1: But Holy Spirit has done a complete job. Jesus has

Speaker 1: done a complete job. The Father has sent the only

Speaker 1: begotten son, his only begotten son, to do the complete job.

Speaker 1: So we're riding on the finished world of the Lord Jesus.

Speaker 1: This is not a half done, half job. No, this

Speaker 1: is not only during a couple of months of the year.

Speaker 1: This is not only because I'm saying so. It's because

Speaker 1: the word of God proves it. The word of God

Speaker 1: says it. The word of God proves it. Jesus shows up.

Speaker 1: According to the prophets, he was coming a man. He

Speaker 1: came and showed up, and he did his thirty three

Speaker 1: and a half year ministry here on earth. And he

Speaker 1: started his ministry fully when he got baptized. From thirty

Speaker 1: to thirty three and a half years old. And what happened?

Speaker 1: He rose from the grave man proving that he is

Speaker 1: the Messiah, the Mishik McGee, the anoint, the One of God.

Speaker 1: So what else? What else does he have to do

Speaker 1: to prove himself? Nothing? Now, what we have to do

Speaker 1: is have faith in him, believe in his word, confess

Speaker 1: Jesus as a personal Lord and Savior. Amen, and then

Speaker 1: have the why reason for the Christmas season. We're gonna

Speaker 1: be in two versus today, John chapter one, verse fourteen

Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord God for being with us, inspiring us

Speaker 1: by way of Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord God for

Speaker 1: rescuing the loss and redeeming the people who were in darkness,

Speaker 1: including myself. I pray Lord God for every single one

Speaker 1: of my brothers and sisters in Christ, that we will

Speaker 1: continue to strive and move forward regardless of what we

Speaker 1: see physically with our eyes, but we would do what

Speaker 1: you call us to do, regardless if we see the endpoint,

Speaker 1: which we probably won't see the end. But if you

Speaker 1: I speak life concerning all things living. I speak death

Speaker 1: to anything that tries to distract, to try to discourage,

Speaker 1: to try to bring depression, or anything like that, to

Speaker 1: try to bring that against us. I come against those

Speaker 1: things right now in the powerful name of Jesus. I

Speaker 1: speak forth Archrea and Angels, dispatching them to every single

Speaker 1: person's house, wherever they are, wherever they are laying down,

Speaker 1: wherever they are standing up, that Lord God you will

Speaker 1: send them to guard, guide and protect us as well.

Speaker 1: Pray it's over my family, myself, my wife, our children,

Speaker 1: are family members on both sides of our marriage, from

Speaker 1: looking around, being too concerned with the commercialization of Christmas. Amen.

Speaker 1: So I have to always remind myself that's not the

Speaker 1: meaning of Christmas what the world is throwing at us right.

Speaker 1: The meaning of Christmas is the importance of Jesus's presence

Speaker 1: in our lives because he was born here. Amen, we

Speaker 1: have him near, we had him near, now we have

Speaker 1: him in us because he completed his ministry here on earth.

Speaker 1: some people think that they're just progressively saved, that they're

Speaker 1: progressively having Holy Spirit God, that they're progressively being saved

Speaker 1: believe it was a complete work, a finished work, and

Speaker 1: we're living in the finished work of Jesus, and he's

Speaker 1: So why Christmas? Amen, let's go for it. The first

Speaker 1: verse that I want to read is John chapter one,

Speaker 1: verse fourteen, first scripture, and the word Christ became flesh,

Speaker 1: And what did he do? He lived among us, among

Speaker 1: the people, and we actually saw his glory. This is

Speaker 1: a testimony. They're testifying that they saw Jonason. I saw

Speaker 1: his glory, glory as belongs to the one and only

Speaker 1: begotten son of the Father, Make no mistake, the only one,

Speaker 1: only begotten son of the Father, the son who is

Speaker 1: truly unique, the only one of his kind, who is

Speaker 1: full of grace and truth, absolutely free from deception. I

Speaker 1: love it. You could also cross reference this verse with

Speaker 1: Isaiah the Prophet, chapter forty, verse number five. This is

Speaker 1: a powerpack scripture that really confirms, solidifies as eyewitness account

Speaker 1: right here that they saw his glory. They saw the

Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, and they knew that he was one of

Speaker 1: a kind, a man full of grace and truth, absolutely

Speaker 1: free of deception. So that means he never told a

Speaker 1: use persuasion or anything like that to try to convince people.

Speaker 1: He just was who he was. He is who he is,

Speaker 1: can you imagine seeing the glory of Jesus alive walking

Speaker 1: think about him like man, they were blessed to have

Speaker 1: the King of kings and the Lord of lords right

Speaker 1: there in their midst, right there among them. They could

Speaker 1: touch them, feel them, listen to them in real time. Amen,

Speaker 1: Yet we don't see him. I've never seen him. And

Speaker 1: I still believe why because I believe in the testimonies

Speaker 1: that are on the scriptures. I believe in his love,

Speaker 1: his grace's mercy. I feel the spirit Lord God living

Speaker 1: the Book of the Bible, a man really jump off

Speaker 1: the pages. And I am responding by faith, knowing that

Speaker 1: He is real, he is alive, and he's coming back soon.

Speaker 1: What about you, Amen, Merry Christmas. That's why Christmas is

Speaker 1: for me a powerful thing. It gives me my focus back,

Speaker 1: holiday seasons because I don't want to be part of

Speaker 1: the commercialization of Christmas. I don't want to be in

Speaker 1: the exmus you know group. I don't want to be

Speaker 1: in the groups that are just doing things for other

Speaker 1: people because they feel obligated, or they want to be

Speaker 1: known for giving to this people and giving to those people.

Speaker 1: They want to be known for their ministries, or I

Speaker 1: don't want to follel those groups. I want to be

Speaker 1: known to be a man of God, and hopefully you

Speaker 1: want to be known to be a man or a

Speaker 1: woman of God. Amen, and know that God is the

Speaker 1: one Jesus, the only be God's Son, who is truly unique,

Speaker 1: the only one of his kind, absolutely free of deception.

Speaker 1: That's the why Christmas for me, aymen, That's the why

Speaker 1: amazing at everything that he does right, everything that does

Speaker 1: savior who is who Christ, the Lord, the Messiah. This

Speaker 1: Michael chapter five, verse two. You could cross the prophecy

Speaker 1: to the revelation. A man was prophesied. Now it's revealed prophecy,

Speaker 1: one of us, a man, to demonstrate his true life,

Speaker 1: to demonstrate holiness, righteousness, demonstrate perfection, the perfect god Man.

Speaker 1: Not only was Jesus a man of God, he was

Speaker 1: the god Man, a man lived among his people. And

Speaker 1: then they said crucifying like a powerful message of redemption, love, grace, mercy.

Speaker 1: And yet Christmas time comes and a lot of people

Speaker 1: just want to give gifts, which is not bad. They

Speaker 1: want to decorate trees, was not bad. They want to

Speaker 1: go to Christmas parties not bad, depending right, and kind

Speaker 1: of forget about the true reason of Christmas. Amen. And

Speaker 1: like I said, I'm not truly like one hundred percent

Speaker 1: all out person who celebrates Christmas like that. Definitely you

Speaker 1: could do without the Santa Claus and all that stuff.

Speaker 1: But whatever puts on people's faces, as long as they

Speaker 1: come out of not just with a smile, but with

Speaker 1: the truth of the Gospel. Amen, I'm all for it.

Speaker 1: Use this opportunity to use this season to share grace, love, truth,

Speaker 1: mercy to someone else from someone who needs this time

Speaker 1: to be encouraged to be lifted. Amen. We could use

Speaker 1: this as a tool, this as a tool to show

Speaker 1: God's love because a lot of people don't know the

Speaker 1: word of God. They don't know the love of God.

Speaker 1: They haven't seen the love of God. But we could

Speaker 1: demonstrate the love of God how by showing love towards

Speaker 1: one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, and showing

Speaker 1: devotion to our Lord, our Father in Heaven. Amen. And

Speaker 1: showing by giving people not only gifts that are physical

Speaker 1: or tangible, but eternal seeds of life, an eternal gift

Speaker 1: of the Gospel. Sharing the Gospel message is sharing eternity

Speaker 1: with somebody who doesn't know the Gospel. That's my why Christmas. Amen.

Speaker 1: So I know a lot of people want to mix.

Speaker 1: I want to mix, you know, the story of Santa

Speaker 1: Claus and the secular portions of the holiday. They want

Speaker 1: to throw that in there, sing carols of songs that

Speaker 1: have worldly concepts in there. You want to do all

Speaker 1: of that, that's on you. Amen. You do that, But

Speaker 1: over here, we don't do that here and so and

Speaker 1: is amen. Because I don't want to be responsible for confusion.

Speaker 1: I don't want to be trying to deceive people to

Speaker 1: believe what I believe. By deception. We know that Jesus

Speaker 1: did not use deceptive ways. He was without deception, pure,

Speaker 1: one hundred percent truth, one hundred percent life. Amen. So

Speaker 1: I'm trying to imitate God through that way. Now, I

Speaker 1: don't need to use gimmicks or tricks anything to force

Speaker 1: people or to manipulate people to celebrate a holiday that

Speaker 1: they truly don't understand. A man, the world does that stuff.

Speaker 1: The world does the deceiving, manipulating. The world does all

Speaker 1: that stuff, those music in the atmosphere and say it's

Speaker 1: for God, but it's really not. It's for the devil,

Speaker 1: because the devil runs this world. So we could be

Speaker 1: mindful of that and we see it, and we could

Speaker 1: be the truth. We could be the light when the

Speaker 1: salt of the earth, like Jesus caused us to be. Amen,
