- Mark Hayes (00:01.678) All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another exciting edition of Two Minute Black and White. We are on the road again in Beantown today, but it's all good. We'll be back in the friendly confines of Atlanta G.A. tomorrow. Brock and Ellis joins me now live from the beautiful Hudson River Valley just north of New York City. Brock, let me tell you something. I don't know what's going on with this TSA situation, but having been in the airports the last couple of days, it's a mess in Atlanta. It's a mess in Fort Lauderdale. It's not a mess in Boston. I breezed right through. I got here three hours early from my flight. Didn't take me 15 minutes to get through security. And I had to take my shoes off. So like what is going on? Are some people getting paid, some people not getting paid, or some people getting paid more? Like the cost of living is way higher in Boston than it is in Atlanta. So how are these folks affording to come to work? you know, folks in Atlanta can't, because it's disrupting. everything. Have you seen the lines in Atlanta? Brock Ganeles (01:04.437) No, but I saw someone who was getting on a plane in Austin, Texas who took a video of the line that they had to stand in. And I watched the video for about like a minute and a half and then I got bored with it, but she was still walking. She was still walking the end line. She'd walk like a mile. Mark Hayes (01:20.119) crazy. crazy. Yeah, the Atlanta line is into the baggage carousel area and wrapping around, which you know has got to be far. It's ridiculous. Brock Ganeles (01:35.957) I guess I don't know why Boston is different. Kudos to them though, huh? For getting done. Mark Hayes (01:41.634) Yeah, they've, you know, we're smart up north. You know, we've been saying that for a long time. Also, why do we want to fuck around with security in the airports while we're fucking around bombing the folks in the Middle East? You don't think 20 folks will try to do something dastardly over in America like they did before? C911 dot dot dot. I mean, come on, bro. Like the last thing we need to be playing with is airline security. It's ridiculous. I don't even watch that show hijacked with Idris Elba on it. I heard it's pretty good, but I'm scared to watch that. You know what I mean? I don't, I haven't watched any of the 9-11 documentaries because I'm afraid I fly too often. Brock Ganeles (02:25.499) Okay. Yay. Brock Ganeles (02:33.097) Well, you know, it's tied up with the it's tied up, of course, with the, you know, with the ice spending. So we're still in this kind of quasi miniature shutdown. Although Democrats did put a proposal out there to fund FEMA and fund TSA and carve them out and really have it be specific to DHS. Republicans nixed that. So we are where we are. We're understaffed. Mark Hayes (02:58.381) Yep. Brock Ganeles (03:02.075) in airline travel at a time where travel booms because it's spring break time and where we're at greater risk than we've been in years. Mark Hayes (03:07.788) Mm. Brock Ganeles (03:14.133) because of our Americans in the Middle East. So yeah, it's a bad time, scary time to be traveling and certainly inconvenient time to be traveling. But you're just another indicator of a tranche of the American economy that's under duress for one reason or another because of bad leadership. Mark Hayes (03:14.518) Mm-hmm. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (03:34.709) You know, you're lucky you got out before you got out before the prices spiked, right? Because they didn't, they're not dealing with these 30 % higher, you know, fuel oil prices, but those are going to get passed along to the consumer in a heartbeat. I would imagine by next week prices will be up already. Mark Hayes (03:34.954) Yep, mostly stupidity. Mark Hayes (03:39.665) yeah. Mark Hayes (03:48.267) Yep. Mark Hayes (03:52.032) Oof, if they're not already. You mentioned DHS and poor leadership. Kristi Noem is out and apparently going to have to answer some questions for a perjury investigation. I mean, this is what they do. Crime, crime, crime. This is what Trump and his minions do. This is all they know is crime. And all they do is crime. Brock Ganeles (04:15.473) If we actually crack down on perjury... being lying under oath in front of congressional committees, then Trump's got 10 to 15 of his admin that are going to be in trouble right away as soon as the worm turns. I Cash Patel went in there, right, and said that he didn't see Trump's name, you know, mentioned in the the Epstein files. I mean, come on. You know, there's just going to be clear instances of of lying because, Trump lies from the top. Mark Hayes (04:24.203) Mark Hayes (04:30.507) gone. Mark Hayes (04:38.23) All right. Brock Ganeles (04:48.663) So all the way through, up and down his team, they all have to lie. They have to that decision. Do I commit perjury or do I get out of favor with the president? And they will all opt to commit perjury and give the middle finger to any Dems that are asking them a question. They're not gonna get on Trump's bad side, not a one of them. Mark Hayes (04:53.503) The lie continues. Mark Hayes (05:12.108) Right, right. And you know, but that's the oath you take, right? You swear allegiance to the Mad King and you put yourself in peril. Should you decide to follow his lead? He doesn't care. You know, this guy, did you see the clip of him calling Gavin Newsom the president? Called him the president of the United States. We need the 25th Amendment right away. Have you seen that clip? It's gone viral. It's all over the place. Brock Ganeles (05:40.904) I haven't seen that clip. saw some clips of him with who was in there today, the head of Ireland or the head of Germany or both were in there today. He was all over the map again today. Macron made a pretty strong statement that they're not coming in to help us. But I thought Trump got kind of hurt the most today by this head of counterterrorism, a MAGA guy, hardcore conspiracy theorist guy who Mark Hayes (05:50.1) is clueless. All over the map. Brock Ganeles (06:10.807) resigned his position because he refuses basically refused to be associated with the war in Iran and has come out and said that Iran was not an imminent threat basically calling Trump a liar and Hegset liars and that the only reason we got involved in this war is because we were influenced by Israel and he resigned wrote an open letter Now, Trump, course, immediately out saying, that guy was weak. I never thought he was any good. Which makes you wonder like, how's that a win for him? You, the guy you selected to run counterterrorism, you're telling us today after his 15 months on the job that he was really weak at security. Like the guy you picked and selected for that key role sucked. So that's your way of justifying or Mark Hayes (06:55.039) Alright. Brock Ganeles (07:06.197) playing off the fact that he resigned in protest because of your policy decisions. But that's where Trump's at right now, where whichever stance he takes, he can't win. He's in all these catch-22s. Mark Hayes (07:11.22) Yeah Yeah, and you know, it's it is pretty pathetic, you know that he throws people under the bus soon as they tell the truth, right, because he is allergic to any truth that might be floating around out there. Again, the head. Brock Ganeles (07:36.596) Wait, coming back to Kristi Noem, it's going to be a tricky spot for her now, because she's been thrown under the bus, right? So now she's in that discard bin where no one gives a shit about her anymore. She's getting brought in and now she's going to be under the gun again. Is she going to have to say, I misremembered and correct and tell the truth now to get her ass out of trouble? Or is she going to bank on the fact that Trump will Mark Hayes (07:42.399) Yes. Mark Hayes (07:48.532) Yep. Yep. Brock Ganeles (08:06.679) her if in any way gets in any trouble with with the perjury you know you know steps into perjury land I don't know they're all gonna have to deal with this I mean I don't know can you really trust Trump after he's discarded you Mark Hayes (08:08.947) Hmm. Would you? Mark Hayes (08:24.254) That's what I was going to ask you. Would you bet your life on Trump? Would you bet your life on him pardoning you? He can't even remember what he had for breakfast, much less remember to pardon somebody. Brock Ganeles (08:34.609) especially if you go against them in your testimony now because you're covering your own ass. It's a tricky decision. I don't know if I'm Kristi Noem what I do. Kristi Noem will probably play for the pardon. They usually do, right? They tend to play. And Trump gives out pardons pretty fast and loose. Mark Hayes (08:38.333) Boom. Mark Hayes (08:44.392) It's a tough one. Mark Hayes (08:50.589) Yeah, I can imagine that. Yeah. Mark Hayes (08:56.317) Willy nilly. Willy nilly. yeah. Brock Ganeles (08:57.235) Yeah, so getting a pardon from him is tends not to be the hardest thing, but they really threw dirt on Kristi Noem pretty quickly, right? I mean, she got trashed pretty aggressively. Mark Hayes (09:05.94) Yeah. And, and she, yeah. And now remember she still linked to her boyfriend, Corey Lewandowski, who was hard core Maga dude, right? He's the face, one of the faces, the many faces, the ugly, many ugly faces of Maga. So he's still hooked into her and still in the department, probably playing for the head job now. Brock Ganeles (09:35.668) Yeah, I the Chatterjee is not going to get it though. We'll see if this guy Mullen gets approved by the Senate. Now, hopefully every Democrat votes against him, but he'll probably get... Mark Hayes (09:35.709) Wouldn't surprise me. Mark Hayes (09:41.162) Well, they're not doing FBI checks, so... Brock Ganeles (09:52.104) rubber stamped into the job. Cause he's a Senator, right? So all the MAGA senators are just going to push him along and Federman will probably jump on board and like he'll, you he'll probably end up in the seat, even though he's, you know, he's kind of a knucklehead also, but in the Trump administration, that's all you're going to get. If it's not him, it's someone as bad as Lewandowski. So like there's no high quality candidates on the list. So, you know. Mark Hayes (09:55.61) Right. Mark Hayes (10:18.981) at all ever ever yeah Brock Ganeles (10:21.541) ever. you might, you know, that's why some people argue you got to vote. You know, I want the Dems symbolically to vote against them, but at the end of the day, whoever ends up in that seat is going to be, you know, likely in a hole. Mark Hayes (10:36.697) Right. Right. And willing to do whatever Trump is asking. So whether it's Mark Wayne, you got two first names, Mark Wayne, whether it's him or not, it doesn't matter. You know, they're all, you know, the same person, right? They're all willing to do the same thing for the chumpster. Yeah. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (10:56.573) Yeah, they know the mission. They know Stephen Miller's game plan and they know what they have to come into the job and do. And they've already made that decision that they're willing to do it. So there's no shortage of MAGA crazies that would love to have that seat. Are you kidding? Go out and round up brown people, get big guns and walk around like a tough guy. I mean, there's a ton of them out there who would love that seat. Mark Hayes (11:19.054) And don't forget the financial incentives. Plenty of those, too. You got a 50K sign-in bonus. Yeah. 50K sign-in bonus. For every $3,000 you round up, you get another bonus. mean, money's just flying around. Brock Ganeles (11:23.593) Now you have plenty of to get. Brock Ganeles (11:32.97) But the job is tougher now. The job is tougher now because if there's a ground swell in MAGA world like there is in Florida with these sheriffs who don't want to be a part of the mass deportations, it will make the job harder for DHS and ICE going forward. If they're getting the pushback from their own people who don't want to be a part of the roundups. Mark Hayes (11:43.799) yes. Brock Ganeles (12:02.621) And like we've been talking about, you know, the reason is the goodness of their heart doubtfully, but if they're cronies when they're hanging out at the local bar and talking about business and everyone's complaining that they that they're losing employees and they need this immigrant workforce. Mark Hayes (12:04.252) And you know where that's coming from. Mark Hayes (12:24.017) Mm-hmm. Brock Ganeles (12:24.029) And they're telling their local sheriff, you can't come to my job site and round up like, you know, 20 people. I'll be out of business. You're going to bankrupt me. So there is, you know, there's going to be some maga world conflict. looks like I was surprised to hear, but it looks like that's coming down the pipe because you got it. You got to say. The ice activity has either. Mark Hayes (12:41.639) Yeah. Mark Hayes (12:47.744) it's absolutely coming. Brock Ganeles (12:53.235) been quieter and slower or it's just the the publicity around it has been totally subsumed by the Iran war. I'm not sure which it is yet. Mark Hayes (13:03.304) Right. Right. I don't see. Remember, local local television stations are not covering Iran. They don't have to send resources to cover it. Right. They're getting that from the national outlets. Right. If there's raids and roundups going on in their town, they're sending cameras out. Right. Especially if there's conflict. Right. And now people have said, you know what? screw this, we're going Minneapolis on folks, we're fighting back. You're not just gonna come snatching people up and disappearing people, sending them to gulags all over the world. I think that it has been tamped down substantially, the movements substantially. Now maybe they are forced to go for the worst of the worst. Brock Ganeles (13:56.0) Well, Bovino's gone and Kristi Noem's gone. So you have a few jobs that are kind of open, right? So yeah, there's just, I mean, I guess that's a good thing. That's just, that's a little bit of a follow through of the victory of the Minneapolis citizens. You know, in a way they, they slowed down the ice deportation machine and the warehousing machine pretty significantly. Mark Hayes (14:03.025) floating. Yeah. Mark Hayes (14:14.503) Yep. Yep. To make it happen. Brock Ganeles (14:26.175) They didn't stop it. They didn't stop it, but they definitely slowed it down, which I guess is a big kudos for civic action and a lesson for the rest of us that if you get out there frequently, angrily, consistently, and you can, you can make a difference. They've, they appears to have made a really big difference. Mark Hayes (14:48.059) But tell me this Brock, who is actually tracking the people that are being picked up? Where do we go to get that information? Where do we go to get those numbers? Right? Because those are human beings Brock. And remember, remember Trump's plan to buy up all these warehouses around the country. You know, what are we going to fill those with? Chickens? You know, they were expecting to put human bodies in there. So, you know, we've got to figure out, you know, if people are still getting disappeared. Brock Ganeles (14:58.537) No idea. Absolutely annoying. Mark Hayes (15:17.882) How do we account for them? Who's tracking them? And who's advocating for them? You know, this is, excuse me, the land of due process, right? Like, what are we doing here? You don't get to hold people just because they couldn't pass your little smell test or your eyeball test. They were too brown for you. Brock Ganeles (15:34.121) Yeah, I mean... Mark Hayes (15:47.236) That's not gonna fly, baby. Brock Ganeles (15:50.154) Yeah, I mean, we're just going to have to stay on top of this because I don't know. We just don't know if it's slowed down or if we're just not hearing about it, right? There's certainly no major city that's having a made a big siege going on of ice agents, right? That doesn't appear to be happening anywhere right now. So. Add the activity slow because the tactics have had to be have the ice tactics are now playing a little bit more. Mark Hayes (15:55.206) See you Mark Hayes (15:59.888) Right. Mark Hayes (16:05.935) Right. Brock Ganeles (16:19.579) in line with what the how the courts want them to play that there's more due process going on or is it just a silent roundup and everyone's attention is elsewhere and the warehouses are being filled up left and right and people like me and you just have no idea about it. I don't know what you did. I don't know which it is. I'm hopeful it's the first case but it might just be the second. The warehouses may just be they may be in like central Missouri and I have no idea that there's you know. Mark Hayes (16:37.325) right Mark Hayes (16:43.673) Let's hope so. Brock Ganeles (16:49.237) 5,000 people in some facility there. You know, the last I heard was that two days ago that Afghan interpreter who really embedded and helped our troops died in custody and became like the 13th or so to die in custody. And once again, that's us not taking care of someone who took care of us, right? Classic American betrayal of someone who helped to save our troops in the time of war comes to this country. Mark Hayes (16:49.955) Right. Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (17:19.197) We treat him like shit and ultimately kill him. Mark Hayes (17:19.333) And that's our brand now, right? We are known as American betrayal. We're not going to help you, but by the way, when we're getting our ass kicked in Iran, come help us. Yeah, this is the FAFO stage of Donald Trump's presidency, like, you know, in Technicolor, in 4K, if you will. Real quick, Pam Bondi, before we get out of here, subpoenaed. She's got to answer questions about the Jeffrey Epstein files. Isn't that nice? Now what's she going to do? Is she going to go in there and lie? Is she going to go in there and perjure herself? Yep. Yep. Brock Ganeles (17:57.27) There you go. She's in the Kristi Noem box, right? If she doesn't lie, Trump goes ripshit on her. If she does lie, she's at risk of perjury down the road. I think she's so deep into Epstein and Trump that she's gonna have to lie. I'd be shocked if she comes clean on anything. But I'm curious to see how she tries to lie, because she's not that smart. Mark Hayes (18:08.42) children's shelter service. As always, thank you for choosing Delta and welcome to Boston. Mark Hayes (18:19.781) And. Exactly. I could see her getting caught in the hearing and in the hearing line. It's got to be. It's got to be. And remember, she's knee deep into this thing from the outset. Right. She was the AG down in Florida. Brock Ganeles (18:26.037) you know, so I can see her getting caught. Brock Ganeles (18:36.659) I hope that's a public hearing. Mark Hayes (18:49.912) that signed off with Alex Acosta and the sweetheart deal where Jeffrey Epstein got weekends in jail and got to duck down in his car and drive all over Florida and, you know, helicopter out of here and chop her over here and fly over there on his private plane. It's a mess. She's got a lie to protect herself. Brock Ganeles (19:08.873) That's why I she has to lie because there's no daylight between her and Trump and Epstein and Maxwell and Acosta. Right. Like she's so intertwined with them that I feel like she's going to have to just try to continue to suppress the evidence and figure out a way to lie her way through it. I wonder if she even takes the fifth in some cases. That would be amazing. I do hope it's a public hearing. Mark Hayes (19:33.888) yeah. Brock Ganeles (19:38.27) I worry that the Republicans may push this one to close door and we'll only see it in deposition. But I love that, you know, this is just a subtle, tide turning and just subtle ways where there's cracks in both Trump's support and in the amount of pressure that his team members are finding themselves under. And maybe... Mark Hayes (19:46.337) Right. Mark Hayes (19:59.16) Absolutely. Brock Ganeles (20:04.307) These concerns will have some of them less enthusiastic about rolling along with his absolute lunacy because they're in a little bit more of a self-preservation mode. That might be wishful thinking. Mark Hayes (20:17.571) Right. Right, right. Hey, real quick before we get out of here, you got a quick hit for me. Give me something. Give me something good. Brock Ganeles (20:26.389) I'm rooting very hard for Kat Abu Gaza. Okay, I mispronounced it, but in the short, it's Kat Abu running for, you may have heard me mention her before, running for Congress in Illinois nine. There's like eight candidates in the race. She's the most progressive. She's run one of the, she's 26 years old. So talk about generational change. She's run one of the best campaigns. Mark Hayes (20:41.525) Okay. Okay. Mark Hayes (20:50.179) Woo. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (20:54.557) I've ever seen. It reminds me of AOC's campaign eight or 10 years ago. Saw that documentary that they did. Absolute grassroots, absolute social media genius, and really, really good. APAC is afraid of her. They've thrown like 15, 20 million dollars against her in Illinois primary. And it's today. And I'm rooting for her to win. Mark Hayes (20:59.478) Mmm. Brock Ganeles (21:24.531) because I wanna see young, flawed and aggressive voices. So Cat Abo, looking out for that tonight. What do you got for me? Mark Hayes (21:25.452) Right. Mark Hayes (21:29.185) nice Mark Hayes (21:32.708) Absolutely. Is America good in baseball? Apparently we made it to the finals in this world baseball classic. Take it on Venezuela? I didn't know we were getting down like that. I guess we're pretty good, huh? Brock Ganeles (21:47.733) mean, we started the hog. We invented this game, didn't we? Did we? I feel like it. Who are you rooting for tonight? Mark Hayes (21:49.111) We beat the... Did we in Cooperstown? I don't know. We beat the Dominican Republic. I'm going to go for the USA. Let's see what the boys of summer do. It'd be interesting. We're playing against Venezuela, right? I think it's Venezuela. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (22:07.689) Yeah. Yeah, Venezuela beat Italy, who had a really good tournament. Mark Hayes (22:13.289) Yes, they did. That was an exciting game, too. How ironic is it that the U.S. is playing against Venezuela after we just kidnapped their president? You can't make this shit up. Brock Ganeles (22:26.793) You can't make this shit up, right? You got that going on. You realize we also, the Iran soccer team, men's team made the world cup and they're now lobbying that they don't have, that they don't have to, which is coming up in like four months. They're lobbying three months. July, it's in July. So four months. Yeah. In the U S but it's in the U S Mexico and Canada. Mark Hayes (22:33.987) You Mark Hayes (22:37.527) Bye. Mark Hayes (22:41.282) For four months? Is it a thing? Is it? Brock Ganeles (22:51.305) And they're lobbying to ask that their games can be played in Mexico because the Iran national team doesn't have to play in the US. Probably worried, know, ICE will show up with machine guns and gun them all up. PEDEXAS will show up at the game and gun them all down. yeah, politics and sports can't help but intertwine. I mean, it's really comical what we got going on out there right now. Mark Hayes (22:51.404) candidate right. Mark Hayes (22:58.402) No. Right. Right. Mark Hayes (23:13.682) Insane. Yeah, I saw the Iran women's team is practicing and they got asylum in Australia. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (23:22.289) In Australia, yeah, they don't want some of them don't want to come home. That's a whole nother political cauldron, right? Like, what does Australia do? Do they grant them all asylum? So not all of them want asylum. Some of them want to go back. Most of them do want asylum, but they got to be worried about their families, right? That's there's no there's no good answers on this ship. Mark Hayes (23:26.645) Yeah. Yeah. If you are in the area, please report to police. Mark Hayes (23:39.999) Right. yeah. No, not at all, not at all. All right, bro, that'll do it for us. Let's rack it up and do it again Thursday. All right, sound good? Brock Ganeles (23:52.246) All right, Mark. Oh yeah, I need to go off tomorrow. I'll be in New York City tomorrow for the day and the night. Hopefully I get back in one piece. Fly home safe. Mark Hayes (23:56.203) Alright. Mark Hayes (24:01.601) All right. Enjoy the diversity. Enjoy the diversity. Alright. Sounds good. Peace. Brock Ganeles (24:08.245) Yeah. All right, man. Stay safe. Stay safe. I'll catch you in a couple days. All right. Bye.
