- 0:03SPEAKER_03: This is The Opinionated Ogre Podcast,
- 0:05SPEAKER_03: your weekly rampage to current events with little snark,
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: a bit of foul language, and a lot of strong opinions.
- 0:10SPEAKER_03: There are new episodes every Thursday,
- 0:12SPEAKER_03: and they're not safe for work or polite company of any kind whatsoever.
- 0:15SPEAKER_03: I am your podcast host, The Opinionated Ogre, and this is my co-host, Florida Woman.
- 0:20SPEAKER_03: Hello, Florida Woman.
- 0:22SPEAKER_03: How are you?
- 0:22SPEAKER_03: Good morning.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: I am terrific.
- 0:24SPEAKER_03: How's it going over there?
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: It is, and it's been raining a lot here.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, we've been getting a lot of rain up here, too.
- 0:32SPEAKER_03: I guess it's just that time of the summer.
- 0:35SPEAKER_03: It's been like only in like the 80s, but it's been like, I don't know, 500% humidity.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, I can relate.
- 0:43SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, yeah, you live in the subtropic hellhole.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Well, we live in a swamp.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: We both live in swamps.
- 0:50SPEAKER_03: Both literally and figuratively for me.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: It's funny because it wasn't until I was older that I put it together, like train the swamp.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh, because it's an actual swamp.
- 0:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:00SPEAKER_03: That's so smart.
- 1:03SPEAKER_03: Now, speaking of,
- 1:05SPEAKER_03: did you find it weird that the Republican Party cannot seem to condemn a man
- 1:08SPEAKER_03: who broke the collarbone of his two-year-old daughter because it would cost him
- 1:12SPEAKER_03: a seat in the house?
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Allegedly broke the collarbone?
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, really gross.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And accidentally published naked photos of her online.
- 1:19SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:20SPEAKER_03: Now, see,
- 1:21SPEAKER_03: that one,
- 1:22SPEAKER_03: I'm going to let slide because,
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: it was baby pictures and he just did a huge dump in his lawyer
- 1:29SPEAKER_03: and his lawyer just wasn't looking and they dumped that shit online
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: because they're stupid.
- 1:33SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, I'm going to let that one slide.
- 1:36SPEAKER_03: Shit happens in the middle of ugly divorces.
- 1:39SPEAKER_03: But as far, I don't know, like the collarbone thing, not so alleged.
- 1:44SPEAKER_03: There's hospital records of that.
- 1:46SPEAKER_03: And it's not really a dispute that he did it.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: I think he blamed his ex-wife and said that she did it.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, is that his new story?
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:54SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: I don't find it weird at all that the Republican Party is just kind of going,
- 2:02SPEAKER_03: because they don't care.
- 2:05SPEAKER_03: They don't give a shit.
- 2:06SPEAKER_03: If there was actual video of him beating his kid,
- 2:08SPEAKER_03: they'd be like,
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: well, you know, the Bible says, yeah, the Bible says discipline your children.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: What is it?
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Spare the rod?
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:17SPEAKER_03: Spare the rod.
- 2:17SPEAKER_03: Spoil the child.
- 2:18SPEAKER_03: Spoil the child.
- 2:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:20SPEAKER_03: There's no end to the depravity of these fucking people.
- 2:23SPEAKER_03: None.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: None whatsoever.
- 2:25SPEAKER_03: We hate them.
- 2:26SPEAKER_03: Remember, everybody, both sides, y'all.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: Both sides.
- 2:29SPEAKER_03: Both sides.
- 2:30SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 2:31SPEAKER_03: So this is a recording for August 6th, 2026.
- 2:36SPEAKER_03: And we have a lot to get to on episode 108 of The Odd Pod.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: Are we ready to do this?
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: No.
- 2:44SPEAKER_03: But we're doing it anyway, so let's get to it.
- 2:47SPEAKER_03: It's time for the Ogre Nation News Update.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Well, speaking of Republican depravity,
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: move over Stephen Bannon and Alex Jones,
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: another alpha male MAGA activist appears to be stealing from the very people
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: who support him.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: What?
- 3:06SPEAKER_03: No way.
- 3:07SPEAKER_03: Weird.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So those of us who are chronically online know Nick Adams,
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: whose real name is Nicholas Ebenopoulos.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: I have not heard that name in a really
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: long time.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: I feel like we talked about him on the pod one time because of something that he did
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: at a car dealership.
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what was his thing again?
- 3:27SPEAKER_03: What was he really well known other than being a misogynist?
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Well, I'll get to that.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: He's known as the goober who's always sucking Trump's saggy balls
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: in his social media posts and constantly complains about women,
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: probably because they dry up like the Sahara Desert when he's around.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Is he the one that walks around calling himself an alpha male all the time?
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Is that his thing?
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: That's the guy.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: I remember that now.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: That's the guy.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: And in 2023,
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: he had an absolute fucking meltdown over the possibility
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: of Mars selling all female M&Ms.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: You know, the candy that doesn't have a fucking gender because
- 4:04SPEAKER_03: it's chocolate.
- 4:06SPEAKER_03: Oh, no.
- 4:06SPEAKER_03: My M&M will have a vagina.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: I've never seen one of those before.
- 4:11SPEAKER_03: He would know what it would look like in real life anyway.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: He's so ridiculous that he's almost a parody of incels.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, they're a parody in and of themselves, so
- 4:21SPEAKER_03: that takes a lot of effort.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: So the Australian native has also made a name for himself in conservative circles
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: for his alleged dedication to education.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: In 2016, Adams founded the Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness, or FLAG.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Last year,
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Adams celebrated Flag with Defense Secretary Hormone Therapy and other conservatives
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: at the National Archives in D.C.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: The organization claimed that it had reached 2 million children
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: with civics education since its founding.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: And Adams had a lot to celebrate because he raised more than $7 million with flags
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: in the last 10 years.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: He was becoming a very wealthy immigrant off the tale that he was going
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: to teach American children real history.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: We're just so grateful for him.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: Oh, my God.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Praise Jesus.
- 5:14SPEAKER_03: Praise Jesus.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: But all may not be as patriotic as it appears,
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: because according to ProPublica, Adams,
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: who was appointed by Trump in March as the special presidential envoy
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: to American tourism exceptionalism and values.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: I almost couldn't get through it.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: I almost couldn't.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Hasn't been educating many kids at all.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: This is from the ProPublica investigation.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Quote, a review of Flagg's finances,
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: donor operations, and online donation network reveals a less celebratory picture.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: There is little evidence that the nonprofit has provided the civics education it claims.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: Oh, no.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: What?
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: And Adams and his nonprofit have engaged in a pattern of questionable financial arrangements.
- 6:01SPEAKER_03: Well, that's a nice euphemism.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Including paying Adams and his mother more than half of its recent annual revenue
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: while raising much of its money through a sweepstakes operation
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: that has promised donors a chance to win $1 million.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: A prize flag's record showed no evidence of ever paying.
- 6:23SPEAKER_03: Didn't Elon Musk do something similar?
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Yes, with voters.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: And he claimed that if you registered to vote that you could get $1 million.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Then it turned out that he had picked the winner in advance.
- 6:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:34SPEAKER_03: It's like, that's not how sweepstakes works.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: So the probe found that there's no expense in Flagg's tax filing showing
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: that it paid a single penny to schools, teachers, or educational distributors.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: The only tax filing that showed it paid anything towards its It's alleged mission
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: to educate kids was in 2017 when the organization spent $26,925 on printing
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: and student constitutions and $5,670 on book donations, shipping, and supplies.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: And it's raised over $7 million.
- 7:14SPEAKER_03: So he spent so far, let's see, less than $33,000 of these $7 million.
- 7:23SPEAKER_03: That's correct.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: And these are for tax filings.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: So you know that if he had spent the money,
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: he would put it in the tax filing so that he could get write-offs.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, exactly.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Or it's a non-profit,
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: so I guess he doesn't need write-offs, he just needs to dupe people and it's okay.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: When the Pentagon was asked about the dubious business practices of Hegsus Buddy,
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: they declined to comment except to say Adams still has the regime's support.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: And just to be perfectly clear,
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Adams is an immigrant who appears to be duping his followers into supporting
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: a non-profit and I have no idea, and ProPublica couldn't seem to find one either.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Just a lot of really shady business practices that might violate tax law, but it's unclear.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: And a legitimate DOJ would look into it.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Sadly,
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: we live in Trump's America where it's totally fine for rich conservatives to steal
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: from us,
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: but Hispanic men driving to work deserve to be shot in the chest and left to bleed
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: to death in the streets.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 8:35SPEAKER_03: I mean, we're going to discuss this later, right, in headlines.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: We're going to get into this.
- 8:40SPEAKER_03: But the entire right is just one huge grift.
- 8:46SPEAKER_03: One huge grift.
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: That's all it is.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: They don't believe in anything else except making themselves rich at the expense of
- 8:54SPEAKER_03: the people they're supposed to be representing and so uplifting.
- 8:59SPEAKER_03: That's it.
- 9:00SPEAKER_03: It's just how much money can I sucker out of these idiots?
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: No, and I mentioned Steve Bannon because, remember, he had that whole build-the-wall scheme?
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: And he stole money from the...
- 9:12SPEAKER_03: Billions of dollars.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And he bought a private jet or a yacht, I mean, and was partying it up.
- 9:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they can't stop themselves.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: No, and then Trump pardoned him because it's fine to steal from MAGA.
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 9:29SPEAKER_03: Let us move on to our next story.
- 9:31SPEAKER_03: Janine, Judge, Judge Janine Pirro, a.k.a.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I'm embarrassed to say I used to watch her television show.
- 9:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I never.
- 9:38SPEAKER_03: But a.k.a.
- 9:40SPEAKER_03: Winebox is in big trouble from her beloved daddy after dropping his...
- 9:48SPEAKER_03: After dropping the charges against David Hearn,
- 9:51SPEAKER_03: the ex-Olympian who was accused of vandalizing the reflecting pool.
- 10:03SPEAKER_03: The 67-year-old caused more than $1,000 worth of damage to
- 10:08SPEAKER_03: the already falling apart reflecting pool by pulling up the liner at the bottom.
- 10:13SPEAKER_03: And at this point, the liner was already peeling off, so it's little unclear
- 10:22SPEAKER_03: He just put his hand in the water out of curiosity and touched the peeling paint.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: At the time the charges were filed, Winebox claimed that it was a deliberate allegation.
- 10:34SPEAKER_03: It seems that it wasn't so deliberate after all.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: This is from the filing.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: Quote,
- 11:03SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 11:27SPEAKER_03: He wrote that he disagreed with Piero 100% and he, quote, didn't know what she was thinking.
- 11:31SPEAKER_03: When she dropped the charges against the
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: He claimed the damage to the affecting pool was a, quote, pure case of vandalism, all in caps.
- 11:50SPEAKER_03: While he was ranting,
- 11:51SPEAKER_03: he admitted some of the issues with the paint job might have been a result of,
- 11:54SPEAKER_03: quote,
- 11:55SPEAKER_03: some contract difficulty,
- 11:57SPEAKER_03: but he was super sure that the, quote, major damage was caused by vandals.
- 12:01SPEAKER_02: Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 12:04SPEAKER_03: And definitely not by the tires of his fucking motorcade that he drove over the pool
- 12:10SPEAKER_03: while it was still drying, thus definitely ruining the fucking paint.
- 12:13SPEAKER_03: But whatever.
- 12:14SPEAKER_03: Definitely vandals.
- 12:15SPEAKER_03: Not him, though.
- 12:17SPEAKER_03: In another post,
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: Trump implored the American people to look at surveillance of the pool to see the,
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: quote,
- 12:24SPEAKER_03: materials being cut with a knife or a box cutter for all to see, which is amazing.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: Because there is, in fact, video.
- 12:31SPEAKER_03: There's cameras pointing at the pool all the time.
- 12:35SPEAKER_03: But Trump is clearly in the middle of sundowning again while he was writing that post.
- 12:41SPEAKER_03: Because there's no fucking video that shows anyone using a knife or a box cutter
- 12:46SPEAKER_03: to slash the liner of the pool.
- 12:48SPEAKER_03: There are, however, pictures of the drained pool.
- 12:51SPEAKER_03: And you can see those tire tracks.
- 12:54SPEAKER_03: But Trump's a moron.
- 12:55SPEAKER_03: Anyway,
- 12:56SPEAKER_03: Democratic Representative Ted Lieu threatened Pierrot an investigation over handing
- 13:00SPEAKER_03: of Hearn's indictment, which is why she's trying so hard to blame everybody else.
- 13:04SPEAKER_03: In a social media post,
- 13:06SPEAKER_03: the House Judiciary Committee member accused her of trying to destroy the life
- 13:09SPEAKER_03: of Hearn.
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: And charging him based on false evidence because they all knew it was a lie in the first place.
- 13:17SPEAKER_03: He said, quote,
- 13:25SPEAKER_03: The charges against Hearn were dropped.
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: They dropped the charges against three more people that they just arrested
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: for touching the paint or touching the water because this was
- 13:35SPEAKER_03: a whole thing they were doing.
- 13:38SPEAKER_03: One, they needed to spare Trump the embarrassment.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: So they were just trying to find someone,
- 13:44SPEAKER_03: anyone, that they could just hold up and say, look,
- 13:48SPEAKER_03: And they were looking to make an example of somebody.
- 13:54SPEAKER_03: And this is where we come back to the thing that I've been talking about for a while.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: And I said this way back when, one of the things I was not worried about or
- 14:17SPEAKER_03: I'm not as worried about was you can't do kangaroo court shit because you have
- 14:24SPEAKER_03: to have kangaroo court to do kangaroo court shit.
- 14:28SPEAKER_03: You cannot walk into an American courtroom.
- 14:32SPEAKER_03: And say, this person walked into the White House and exploded a nuclear bomb.
- 14:38SPEAKER_03: You have to have proof of it, right?
- 14:40SPEAKER_03: If we look outside and see that Washington,
- 14:42SPEAKER_03: D.C. is still standing there and the White House still exists, no one's going to.
- 14:47SPEAKER_03: You say, yeah,
- 14:49SPEAKER_03: we're going to throw their entire family in jail because they're
- 14:52SPEAKER_03: a nuclear terrorist.
- 14:53SPEAKER_03: You can't do stuff like that here.
- 14:55SPEAKER_03: You can get away with that in places like North Korea or Russia or China
- 15:01SPEAKER_03: where you could just walk.
- 15:02SPEAKER_03: We don't do that here.
- 15:17SPEAKER_03: Even Republican judges,
- 15:19SPEAKER_03: most of them are going to say, you're going to have to give me some evidence here.
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: You got to show me some evidence.
- 15:27SPEAKER_03: If you're going to tell me this person did a crime, you have to provide some evidence of that.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: Otherwise, get the fuck out of my courtroom.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: We saw that after the January 6th insurrection or before it,
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry,
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: where they were claiming the election was stolen and judges all over
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: the country were like, can you show us some proof?
- 15:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, even Republican judges were like,
- 15:49SPEAKER_03: yeah, I'm not throwing out the results of an election because you said so.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, actually, some of the harshest judges have been like Bush appointees.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they're willing to destroy the rule of law in favor of deregulation and follow-up.
- 16:10SPEAKER_03: I don't care.
- 16:10SPEAKER_03: I don't care.
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: We're just going to throw the book at you because Donald Trump said so.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: They will not do it.
- 16:44SPEAKER_03: And that's been a huge stumbling block, a massive stumbling block for the regime.
- 16:51SPEAKER_03: They desperately want to do this.
- 16:53SPEAKER_03: You can destroy the lives of all the people that the regime hates,
- 16:59SPEAKER_03: but you can drag them into court and you can throw lots and lots of legal bills
- 17:04SPEAKER_03: at them and the judges are going to be like, yeah, we're not throwing them in jail.
- 17:08SPEAKER_03: We're not doing that.
- 17:09SPEAKER_03: Sorry, that's not happening.
- 17:11SPEAKER_03: If you want to prove them as part of a huge Antifa conspiracy,
- 17:14SPEAKER_03: you actually have to prove they're part of a huge Antifa conspiracy.
- 17:17SPEAKER_03: Now, this means that the Federalist Society is going to have to go back to the drawing board.
- 17:25SPEAKER_03: They've found judges who are willing to completely shit on the Constitution in order
- 17:31SPEAKER_03: to advance corporate agenda, right?
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 17:34SPEAKER_03: But now they're going to have to find judges who will also be willing to go along
- 17:40SPEAKER_03: with kangaroo court level fascism,
- 17:44SPEAKER_03: which is going to be much harder to do and take a lot.
- 17:49SPEAKER_03: And honestly,
- 17:51SPEAKER_03: they're running out of time because now Democrats and the rest of
- 17:55SPEAKER_03: the country are very, very aware of how dangerous out of control courts can be.
- 18:02SPEAKER_03: So I suspect that the federal society is going to get a lot more scrutiny
- 18:08SPEAKER_03: than it has in the past.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: You know, things are not going to go smoothly for them as they're used to.
- 18:13SPEAKER_03: So we'll see.
- 18:15SPEAKER_03: Now, one more thing,
- 18:17SPEAKER_03: as we're on the topic of wasting taxpayer money,
- 18:20SPEAKER_03: the regime finished another project last week.
- 18:25SPEAKER_03: The ugliest of them all.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: Oh, my God.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: It's so important.
- 18:28SPEAKER_03: The renovation of Washington, D.C. Oh, my goodness.
- 18:31SPEAKER_03: The statues near the Lincoln Memorial have been covered with gold leaf.
- 18:34SPEAKER_03: And oh, my goodness.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: Oh, We paid a whopping $5.1 million to have this done, and it looks like absolute fucking shit.
- 18:43SPEAKER_03: So, yeah.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: They're so shiny.
- 18:46SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 18:46SPEAKER_03: It's just...
- 18:47SPEAKER_03: So the next thing,
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: the next thing you know,
- 18:49SPEAKER_03: we're going to see Trump running around
- 18:50SPEAKER_03: the Capitol gluing gold spray painted Home Depot pliques to government buildings
- 18:54SPEAKER_03: because he's just obsessed with gold because it's what he thinks
- 18:58SPEAKER_03: a rich person should be doing.
- 19:02SPEAKER_03: He really is just a caricature of what a poor man thinks a rich man should be.
- 19:06SPEAKER_03: He's just...
- 19:07SPEAKER_03: It's true.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: He's so fucking tacky.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: I remember when his penthouse used to get so much attention because it was so gold.
- 19:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:17SPEAKER_03: He's a poor man's character of the rich.
- 19:21SPEAKER_03: It's just tacky, tacky, and more fucking tacky.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: Let us move on to our next segment.
- 19:27SPEAKER_03: We live in the absolute stupidest timeline.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: May God have mercy on your soul.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: What is that from?
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Billy Madison.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's right.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: I love Billy Madison.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: Old Adam Sandler.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: So good.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: So let's take a trip back in time to 2020 when Trump had protesters pepper sprayed
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: in tear gas so that he could take a photo across the street from the White House at
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: the historic St. John's Church.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: While holding a
- 20:05SPEAKER_03: book upside down.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: Well, during the BML posters and,
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: you know, as he,
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: or protests,
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: and as he just said,
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: remember, that was the one where he was holding the Bible upside down.
- 20:16SPEAKER_03: I swear to God, he really is fucking Satan.
- 20:18SPEAKER_03: He really is just the Antichrist.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Just, just really.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: And remember,
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: he wanted to shoot the protesters at that point,
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: but the person in charge of the military at the time,
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: I can't remember, was like, no, that's a really bad idea.
- 20:30SPEAKER_03: Mark Miley.
- 20:31SPEAKER_03: Mark Millie?
- 20:31SPEAKER_03: Mark Millie?
- 20:33SPEAKER_03: Millie.
- 20:33SPEAKER_03: Mark Millie.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Like, Millie-Vinnelly.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Well, one of the aides present was Max Miller.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: A year later, Trump endorsed Miller in his bid for a U.S. congressional seat in Ohio.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: You know,
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: that place where Jim Jordan is from and where he covered up the molestation
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: of basketball players, football players, wrestlers, wrestlers.
- 20:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it was wrestlers.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: I had to run through all of the sports in my head.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: That state.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: So, allegations that the Republican had a violent temper soon began leaking to the press.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: But Trump, of course, refused to withdraw his endorsement and Miller won the seat.
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: Well, because being a violent psychopath is like a bonus.
- 21:18SPEAKER_03: It's not a glitch.
- 21:19SPEAKER_03: It's not a bug.
- 21:20SPEAKER_03: It's a feature for Republicans.
- 21:22SPEAKER_03: That's true.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: Now he's up for re-election, and allegations of abuse are once again plaguing him.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: This time, they come from his ex-wife, Emily, and her father, GOP Senator Bernie Moreno.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: According to Emily,
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: her ex held a gun to her head and threw boiling water at her,
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: and then their two-year-old recently suffered a broken collarbone,
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: which initiated a police investigation and court filings.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: Emily claimed that their daughter told her,
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: Daddy's house is scary,
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: and a law enforcement officer noted, quote,
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: The bruising surrounding the clavicle fracture made the injury suspicious and
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: that it resembled a handprint.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Emily says that her ex, the congressman, broke their daughter's collarbone.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: She has repeatedly accused Miller of, quote,
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: dangerous physical behavior,
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: and those allegations were supported by her father, Senator Moreno.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: In a social media post,
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: the lawmaker said his ex-sen-in-law,
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: quote, needs serious psychological help and implored him to drop out.
- 22:25SPEAKER_03: You know, you know, I find absolutely astonishing about that.
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: So that he didn't speak out sooner.
- 22:30SPEAKER_03: Well, that and Republicans like Moreno.
- 22:33SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 22:33SPEAKER_03: All they ever talk about is how tough they are and how manly they are and how,
- 22:37SPEAKER_03: you know, he didn't beat his ass.
- 22:39SPEAKER_03: I honestly don't.
- 22:41SPEAKER_03: If someone laid their hands on my daughter or my granddaughter even,
- 22:47SPEAKER_03: like broke her bone, you don't think I would show up with a fucking baseball bat?
- 22:51SPEAKER_03: It's like, yeah, I'm going to have to hurt you now.
- 22:55SPEAKER_03: And if you come near them again, I'm going to have to kill you.
- 22:59SPEAKER_03: It's that fucking simple.
- 23:00SPEAKER_03: It's like, I'm going to break your kneecaps.
- 23:02SPEAKER_03: Which one do you want shattered?
- 23:05SPEAKER_03: You know, it's like, I'm a man.
- 23:08SPEAKER_03: I'm a masculine man.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: I'm so manly.
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: I'm a Republican.
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: But as soon as your fucking daughter starts getting beaten
- 23:13SPEAKER_03: and your granddaughter literally has broken bones,
- 23:16SPEAKER_03: it's like, they need psychological help.
- 23:18SPEAKER_03: But I'm not actually going to do anything to intervene.
- 23:21SPEAKER_03: It's like, really?
- 23:22SPEAKER_03: What happened to being the fucking alpha male?
- 23:24SPEAKER_03: What happened to this?
- 23:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 23:26SPEAKER_03: Or nothing.
- 23:28SPEAKER_03: Absolutely fucking nothing.
- 23:29SPEAKER_03: Just stood by and let it happen.
- 23:31SPEAKER_03: It's like, oh my God, I would fucking kill somebody if they touched Anastasia or Lila like that.
- 23:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 23:37SPEAKER_03: But nothing.
- 23:37SPEAKER_03: These people are just fucking cowards.
- 23:39SPEAKER_03: They're cowards on every, professionally, personally, like with their own family.
- 23:45SPEAKER_03: They're just fucking cowards.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: Well, Miller, like a typical Republican, has refused to leave the race.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Not only has he said he won't be dropping out, but he claimed the real abuser is his ex-wife.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: He went on Twitter Live for half an hour on Sunday morning
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: where he was slurring his words while he ranted.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: And blamed her for all kinds of things.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: And did a document dump, which is where we were talking about...
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: He did a document dump to prove, quote-unquote, that his ex-wife was the one who was violent.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: And in that document dump that he posted online to prove
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: that his ex-wife was violent was the picture of his daughter's genitals.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: So, yeah.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: And while the evidence against him is compelling...
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: To say the least,
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: the Republican Party is largely silent,
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: once again proving that they don't give a single fuck about women and children,
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: and the media is letting them get away with it,
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: even though Graham Plattner was the top story for days and weeks
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: when he faced accusations of abuse and rape.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: Once again, the press has proven that Republicans are not held to a lower standard.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: They are held to no standard at all.
- 24:58SPEAKER_03: And he has a restraining order against him from Stephanie Grisham.
- 25:04SPEAKER_03: Stephanie, someone from Trump's first.
- 25:08SPEAKER_03: I didn't hear you talking about.
- 25:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:10SPEAKER_03: So, you know, it's not like this is happening in a vacuum.
- 25:14SPEAKER_03: It's not like it's just his wife and it's just maybe a he said, she said, it's an ugly.
- 25:19SPEAKER_03: No, there's another woman saying,
- 25:21SPEAKER_03: no, I need a fucking restraining order because I can't have him near me.
- 25:24SPEAKER_03: He's dangerous.
- 25:25SPEAKER_03: So, and the press,
- 25:28SPEAKER_03: it's really important to understand just how fucking insane
- 25:32SPEAKER_03: the media's behavior here is.
- 25:33SPEAKER_03: When Grant Plattler was initially accused of being threatening towards his partners
- 25:38SPEAKER_03: and grabbing one of them so hard He was never accused of physically assaulting them,
- 25:44SPEAKER_03: and the press lost its fucking mind, right?
- 25:47SPEAKER_03: They went nuclear when he was accused of rape.
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: But now we have a—now, mind you, I am not defending Graham Platt.
- 25:57SPEAKER_03: But now we have a Republican who's credibly accused
- 26:02SPEAKER_03: of breaking his baby daughter's collarbone,
- 26:05SPEAKER_03: throwing boiling water at his wife's face and holding a gun to her head.
- 26:08SPEAKER_03: He literally broke.
- 26:10SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 26:25SPEAKER_03: I promise you,
- 26:26SPEAKER_03: if this was a Senate seat instead of a House seat,
- 26:30SPEAKER_03: and it was a seat that Democrats were threatening to flip,
- 26:33SPEAKER_03: this story would still be fucking buried until after the election.
- 26:37SPEAKER_03: 100%.
- 26:41SPEAKER_03: Because the reason the Plattner story became so large is because it helped Republicans.
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: If it had been a House seat, it wouldn't have been such a big story.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: They wouldn't have made such a fucking big deal about it
- 26:54SPEAKER_03: because it would have just been a House seat and Republicans are going to lose
- 26:57SPEAKER_03: the House, so who cares?
- 26:58SPEAKER_03: But it was a Senate seat and it made it more likely that the Republicans would keep the Senate.
- 27:04SPEAKER_03: So they made it a huge fucking story.
- 27:08SPEAKER_03: Now, this is a Republican and they're just like, man.
- 27:13SPEAKER_03: Do we really have to make a big story about a Republican breaking a kid's bones?
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: And the legacy press is so fucking complicit with keeping Republicans power whenever they can.
- 27:26SPEAKER_03: It's just obscene at this point.
- 27:28SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 27:28SPEAKER_03: Let's move on.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: So if you haven't been paying close attention,
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: the regime is continuing its ongoing project of widespread historical revision.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: Trump won the 2020 election, y'all.
- 28:04SPEAKER_03: January 6th was a hoax.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: White men are a persecuted minority in America.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: Joe Biden is old, and he and Anthony Fauci are to blame for COVID.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: If y'all are a little fuzzy...
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: On how that works when Trump was president when COVID hit,
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: well, you're not really cut out to be a Republican.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: Don't worry, though.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Secretary raccoon penis went on CNN to foam at the mouth about it.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: Yelling and ranting at data bash about how the press is engaged in,
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: quote, absolute press malpractice.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Not for allowing a wife beater to get away with it, but,
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: by refusing to, I don't know, something, something, something, question authority.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: And Captain Toilet Seat Koch pushed a litany of debunked garbage about
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: the COVID vaccine and Dr. Fauci.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 28:59SPEAKER_03: Worm Boy was obviously told to push the party line and that the hundreds
- 29:04SPEAKER_03: of thousands who died because of COVID died later, underbited somehow.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 29:10SPEAKER_03: Which is not how that happened.
- 29:12SPEAKER_03: Kennedy literally said, and I...
- 29:13SPEAKER_03: Now, Maria and Jenny, these are my donor mothers, right?
- 29:16SPEAKER_03: They lived with Kyle, my son, in Queens when COVID hit.
- 29:18SPEAKER_03: And I remember...
- 29:28SPEAKER_03: Remember them telling me they could hear the ambulances constantly going back
- 29:34SPEAKER_03: and forth to the hospital in Elmhurst,
- 29:36SPEAKER_03: which was like the epicenter when COVID was at its peak in New York City.
- 29:42SPEAKER_03: And Elmhurst got slammed hard.
- 29:44SPEAKER_03: And that went on for weeks.
- 29:48SPEAKER_03: FEMA had to send freezer trucks to store hundreds of dead bodies
- 29:51SPEAKER_03: because they couldn't fit them in the morgue anymore.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: My cousin is a physician.
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: And she was working at Grady Memorial in Atlanta during the pandemic.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: And she was watching people die every day.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: And she was like a new doctor.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: That must have been scarring.
- 30:09SPEAKER_03: But yeah, we all saw it on the news.
- 30:11SPEAKER_03: We all saw it happening in real time.
- 30:14SPEAKER_03: But fascism works to destroy reality because reality is lethal to fascism.
- 30:19SPEAKER_03: It's quite literally what Orwell wrote Stupidest fucking timeline.
- 30:22SPEAKER_03: Stupidest fucking timeline.
- 30:50SPEAKER_03: All right, it is time to move on to headlines for short attention span.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: We have Honey Badger in the chat.
- 30:59SPEAKER_03: Honey Badger?
- 31:00SPEAKER_03: Honey Badger don't give a fuck.
- 31:05SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 31:06SPEAKER_03: One of Trump's many,
- 31:08SPEAKER_03: many lawsuits against Capital One for closing the Trump Organization's bank accounts
- 31:13SPEAKER_03: in 2021,
- 31:14SPEAKER_03: Eric Trump,
- 31:15SPEAKER_03: the present organization,
- 31:16SPEAKER_03: had filed a lawsuit against the bank in March 2025,
- 31:19SPEAKER_03: alleging the accounts were closed because they were trying to benefit politically
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: from the aftermath of the January 6th insurrection, blah, blah, blah.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: But I thought Antifa did that.
- 31:28SPEAKER_03: Who knows?
- 31:29SPEAKER_03: It was FBI.
- 31:31SPEAKER_03: Who knows?
- 31:32SPEAKER_03: We can't tell.
- 31:33SPEAKER_03: They change the story like every three weeks.
- 31:35SPEAKER_03: A federal court threw out two Trump organizations' complaints but let
- 31:40SPEAKER_03: the company file amended complaints.
- 31:42SPEAKER_03: Capital One responded on Friday saying the latest lawsuit suffers from
- 31:45SPEAKER_03: the same fundamental flaws as the prior complaints and called the allegations based
- 31:49SPEAKER_03: on cherry-picked quotes that The response also contained a bombshell,
- 31:54SPEAKER_03: which would have been nice to know about previously.
- 31:57SPEAKER_03: According to the bank,
- 31:58SPEAKER_03: they made a decision to close the Trump Organization's accounts after conducting
- 32:01SPEAKER_03: a money laundering probe.
- 32:03SPEAKER_03: What?
- 32:04SPEAKER_03: The Trump Organization's
- 32:10SPEAKER_03: While the bank didn't outright accuse the Trumps of laundering money,
- 32:14SPEAKER_03: lawyers for Capital One did state, quote,
- 32:16SPEAKER_03: documents and plaintiffs' own allegations make clear
- 32:19SPEAKER_03: the Capital One closed plaintiffs' In other words,
- 32:21SPEAKER_03: the Trumps shot themselves in the dick by filing the suit
- 32:23SPEAKER_03: because all they've done is prove their organization is
- 32:25SPEAKER_03: the criminal organization we all thought it was all along.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: Well, in more Trump corruption news,
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: the DOJ has once again subpoenaed the records of a journalist.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: This time,
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: they're big mad at a freelancer who contributed to a 2025 story about
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: a 2019 botched military operation.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: According to the New York Times story,
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: SEAL Team 6 tried to plant listening devices on a beach in North Korea
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: to intercept communications from Kim Jong-un about his ongoing negotiations
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: with Donald Trump at the time.
- 33:14SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, I remember this.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: The mission failed and led to the deaths of unarmed North Korean civilians.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: I believe they were fishermen.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Freelancer Matthew Cole was actually subpoenaed earlier this year,
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: I think in January or February,
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: and told to turn over two years' worth of notes and give testimony in the leak case.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: Now,
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: this is not the first time the regime has gone after journalists and publications
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: for writing embarrassing stories about them.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: So far, the press has been able to fight back and not give them what they want,
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: but it's clear that Trump is going to continue to try.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: And while the regime attacks the First Amendment,
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: mainstream media pundits would like you to know that Biden is super old
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: and downright.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: Democrats are in disarray ahead of the midterms.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: And Abdul Saeed, is that his name?
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: Is a socialist.
- 34:02SPEAKER_03: And also, I can't help but think,
- 34:05SPEAKER_03: if I were to go onto Twitter or Substack right now and check on Glenn Greenwald
- 34:12SPEAKER_03: and Matt Taibbi,
- 34:13SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 34:14SPEAKER_03: the greatest defenders of the First Amendment in all of American history,
- 34:18SPEAKER_03: I feel like they wouldn't have anything to say about this.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: Weird.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: Probably not.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: It's so strange.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: So odd.
- 34:28SPEAKER_03: Anyway, close personal friends of the pod,
- 34:32SPEAKER_03: the Young Turks,
- 34:33SPEAKER_03: are getting awfully close to putting on their red cap of patriotism.
- 34:37SPEAKER_03: Very excited about it.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: He has a real feud with Cenk Uygur.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Well, at this point, it's a one-sided feud, but it used to be It was.
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: It was back in the day two-sided.
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: Like he actually was calling Ogre out by name.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 34:54SPEAKER_03: No, Cenk Uygur is a huge fan of mine.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: So Cenk Uygur and Anna Kasparian of the Young Turks have been on a journey
- 35:00SPEAKER_03: of discovery these years.
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: They've discovered that being a progressive is really boring.
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: But white nationalist fascism, that sounds kind of fun and super profitable.
- 35:10SPEAKER_03: Very profitable.
- 35:11SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 35:12SPEAKER_03: Like, Anna,
- 35:12SPEAKER_03: for instance,
- 35:13SPEAKER_03: has been anti-trans,
- 35:15SPEAKER_03: anti-vax,
- 35:15SPEAKER_03: anti-homeless,
- 35:16SPEAKER_03: and now she's really,
- 35:17SPEAKER_03: really angry at Anthony Fauci at the same exact time Republicans are making Fauci
- 35:22SPEAKER_03: a thing again.
- 35:24SPEAKER_03: And it sure is weird how super-duper-productive...
- 35:26SPEAKER_03: Anna Kasparian of the super more progressive than you,
- 35:29SPEAKER_03: you fucking corporate censors whore,
- 35:31SPEAKER_03: Democratic whore,
- 35:32SPEAKER_03: just happens to be pushing Republican talking points at this exact moment.
- 35:37SPEAKER_03: So weird.
- 35:38SPEAKER_03: And then there's Cenk really clarifying.
- 35:41SPEAKER_03: He's a close,
- 35:41SPEAKER_03: personal friend,
- 35:43SPEAKER_03: and he really did spend 15 minutes or so on his show screaming about me,
- 35:47SPEAKER_03: personally, by name, because I am a centrist establishment whore.
- 35:52SPEAKER_03: And Cenk wants you to know that he's sick and tired of Ukraine making such
- 35:57SPEAKER_03: a huge fuss and causing so much trouble.
- 36:01SPEAKER_03: What the fuck, guys?
- 36:02SPEAKER_03: Why can't they just settle down and make peace or something?
- 36:05SPEAKER_03: Oh, wait.
- 36:07SPEAKER_03: Cenk really understands.
- 36:08SPEAKER_03: He knows why Ukraine's still fighting.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: The Jews, of course.
- 36:13SPEAKER_03: And I really wish I was making this up.
- 36:16SPEAKER_03: Honestly, it's fucking crazy.
- 36:19SPEAKER_03: I'm going to play this clip because it's so fucking unhinged.
- 36:23SPEAKER_03: I cannot do it justice.
- 36:25SPEAKER_03: So give me a second here.
- 36:28SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: It's always the Jews.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: Ukraine has now become basically Israel.
- 36:33SPEAKER_02: Now, why do I say that?
- 36:34SPEAKER_02: We're a rare show that talks about this phenomenon.
- 36:37SPEAKER_02: It's really important.
- 36:39SPEAKER_02: Remember, Russia was helping Iran and Syria.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: Israel needed.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: And that Iran couldn't be helped when Iran was attacked.
- 36:47SPEAKER_02: Oh, right.
- 36:47SPEAKER_02: That also happened during the Ukraine-Russia war.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 36:59SPEAKER_02: What?
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: What?
- 37:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's absolutely fucking unhinged.
- 37:27SPEAKER_03: Completely and totally un-fucking-hinged.
- 37:30SPEAKER_03: Hold on, let me shut that off so you don't echo.
- 37:33SPEAKER_03: There we go.
- 37:34SPEAKER_03: What he's talking about is that Ukraine attacked an Iranian ship
- 37:42SPEAKER_03: that was delivering weapons to Russia.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: Was it supposed to just let them deliver Russian weapons?
- 37:48SPEAKER_03: And that's the thing, that's the thing, right?
- 37:50SPEAKER_03: It's like,
- 37:52SPEAKER_03: do you not, like, sure,
- 37:54SPEAKER_03: you don't necessarily want them expanding the zone,
- 37:58SPEAKER_03: like, who they're attacking, if some Yeah.
- 38:15SPEAKER_03: And now, a year ago, they probably wouldn't have done that, right?
- 38:18SPEAKER_03: But here they are.
- 38:31SPEAKER_03: They're in the middle of a war with the United States.
- 38:33SPEAKER_03: They're not going to sit back and go,
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: well, okay, well, they're already in the middle of a war with the United States.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: Of course we're going to fucking shoot them now.
- 38:41SPEAKER_03: They're already at war with the United States.
- 38:43SPEAKER_03: What's the risk here?
- 38:45SPEAKER_03: They're going to start a war with the United States.
- 38:47SPEAKER_03: No, they're already a fucking war.
- 38:49SPEAKER_03: They're not going to shoot out.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: If China was sending Russia weapons,
- 38:52SPEAKER_03: they're not going to shoot out a Chinese boat,
- 38:54SPEAKER_03: but they're obviously going to shoot it on a Iranian boat.
- 38:58SPEAKER_03: So now the amazing thing about that clip is how he just erases the fact
- 39:04SPEAKER_03: that Russia is the one that invaded
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: Ukraine and started the war.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: I fucking hate when it's called the Russian-Ukrainian War.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: No, it's the Russian War on Ukraine.
- 39:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's Russia invaded Ukraine.
- 39:19SPEAKER_03: Ukraine is fighting back against an invasion of their fucking country.
- 39:24SPEAKER_03: It's not like they're at war with each other.
- 39:26SPEAKER_03: Russia's in their country and they're trying to fight and push them out.
- 39:32SPEAKER_03: And they just erased it.
- 39:36SPEAKER_03: Like somehow Ukraine is somehow responsible for this.
- 39:40SPEAKER_03: And they have somehow any responsibility for what's happening in their country other
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: than we're going to kill the people who are invading our country.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: That's as far as their responsibility goes.
- 39:51SPEAKER_03: It's like...
- 39:53SPEAKER_03: How is this a problem?
- 39:55SPEAKER_03: Do they not have the right to do this?
- 39:57SPEAKER_03: And if you're fucking with them, well, then they get to shoot at you.
- 40:02SPEAKER_03: And the fact that now it's Israel's fault that the Jews are somehow to blame
- 40:08SPEAKER_03: for this, as if this would not be a legitimate target.
- 40:13SPEAKER_03: Otherwise, it has to somehow be the fault of the Jews.
- 40:18SPEAKER_03: It's just pure fucking hate.
- 40:23SPEAKER_03: It's just they're no longer talking to an audience of progressives.
- 40:28SPEAKER_03: They're talking to an audience of racist white nationalists who hate Jewish people.
- 40:36SPEAKER_03: That's what they're doing here.
- 40:38SPEAKER_03: And that's what they've been doing for a very long fucking time.
- 40:43SPEAKER_03: Because the Young Turks since...
- 40:46SPEAKER_03: I mean, remember, the Young Turks was huge on Russian TV way back in the day.
- 40:53SPEAKER_03: And the alt-left,
- 40:54SPEAKER_03: of which Young Turks is a part of,
- 40:56SPEAKER_03: they've been pro-Russian since the invasion started.
- 41:00SPEAKER_03: Like, the alt-left is very, they're just fucking tankies, right?
- 41:04SPEAKER_03: These are the people who want Russia to win because it hurts the United States.
- 41:10SPEAKER_03: That's their whole thing.
- 41:11SPEAKER_03: And I've noticed in the last couple of weeks,
- 41:14SPEAKER_03: the last couple of months,
- 41:16SPEAKER_03: that there's been an awful lot of talk about World War III again,
- 41:19SPEAKER_03: now that Russia's losing.
- 41:21SPEAKER_03: How You know, oh, we have to stop the war because, oh, it's going to kick off World War III.
- 41:26SPEAKER_03: There was a guy a couple of years ago.
- 41:28SPEAKER_03: He was a hardcore far left tanky guy.
- 41:32SPEAKER_03: Not far left.
- 41:33SPEAKER_03: He was alt left.
- 41:34SPEAKER_03: He was, you know, he was a fucking right winger pretending he was a left.
- 41:37SPEAKER_03: And he spent a lot of time screaming about how we can't help Ukraine
- 41:44SPEAKER_03: because it's going to start World War III, blah, blah, blah.
- 41:48SPEAKER_03: If we keep doing this, it's going to start World War III.
- 41:50SPEAKER_03: And it was like, you're pro-Russian.
- 41:52SPEAKER_03: All you're doing is talking that you're pro-Russian,
- 41:55SPEAKER_03: that you want Russia to win because if we don't let Russia win,
- 41:59SPEAKER_03: it's going to start World War III.
- 42:00SPEAKER_03: That's all he was talking about.
- 42:03SPEAKER_03: And he hated the United States and he hated Democrats more than Republicans
- 42:07SPEAKER_03: and yada, yada, you know, all of that.
- 42:09SPEAKER_03: And I'm starting to hear that again once Russia started to lose,
- 42:14SPEAKER_03: like decisively they're starting to lose this war.
- 42:17SPEAKER_03: And now we're back to the World War III stuff from the far left, you know, the fake far left.
- 42:23SPEAKER_03: And that's all this is.
- 42:25SPEAKER_00: And as we're approaching the election,
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: you guys might notice a lot of, oh,
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: if they support AIPAC,
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: we can't ever, they can't, you know, they can't be a part of the Democratic Party.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: We have to, whatever.
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: And that is so fucking damaging to our party.
- 42:40SPEAKER_03: And that's the point.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: Not that we give a flying,
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: we agree that AIPAC sucks because they have turned into,
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: back in the day,
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: they used to just be supportive of Jewish people,
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: but now they are absolutely like,
- 42:55SPEAKER_03: I mean, they're the pro-Israeli government.
- 42:58SPEAKER_03: They're the PR wing of the Israeli government.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: Yes, they've turned into the PR wing of the Israeli government.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: And it's disappointing.
- 43:06SPEAKER_00: But to make that the red line is so fucking stupid.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: It's just reminiscent of 2016.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: Like, hey, we have a big tent party, guys.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: Sometimes people are going to support things that we don't support.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: Does that mean that we don't want to elect Democrats?
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: Does that mean that we should elect a fucking Republican instead?
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: We all saw how that went in 2016.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: What was the red line in 2016?
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: I can't remember.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: It was if they support...
- 43:35SPEAKER_03: Wasn't it just Hillary?
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was just Hillary.
- 43:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's like, if you don't support Bernie, I won't vote.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: It's like, And they did it.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: And look at what happened.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: And we said, guys, please don't do that.
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: Please, please don't do that because the Supreme Court is up.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 43:50SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 43:51SPEAKER_03: AIPAC is a rat-fucking operation.
- 43:54SPEAKER_03: If all you care about is AIPAC, other than you are a rat.
- 43:57SPEAKER_03: Because if you spent all of last year not screaming at the Republican Party and
- 44:03SPEAKER_03: the Trump regime about Gaza,
- 44:06SPEAKER_03: but all of a sudden right now AIPAC is your red line,
- 44:10SPEAKER_03: You don't actually give a shit about Gaza.
- 44:12SPEAKER_03: You give a shit about making sure Republicans win and you can go fuck yourself.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: We haven't heard about Gaza in the last two years.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, we have made it a point to talk about it because
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: the far right Israeli government is committing genocide.
- 44:26SPEAKER_00: But these people on the fucking far left have not been talking about Gaza for
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: the last couple of years.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: And now all of a sudden Gaza is of the utmost importance again.
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: Come the fuck on, guys.
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: We see what's happening here.
- 44:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, this is just Jill Stein shit.
- 44:40SPEAKER_03: This is just only pop up.
- 44:41SPEAKER_03: If it's only important when there's an election, then it's not actually important to you.
- 44:46SPEAKER_03: It's only important as a weapon is a cudgel.
- 44:49SPEAKER_03: It's only important as a cudgel to use against Democrats,
- 44:52SPEAKER_03: which means you're not arguing good faith.
- 44:54SPEAKER_03: You're arguing to keep Republicans in power.
- 44:58SPEAKER_03: Once the election's over, you're going to stop talking about AIPAC again.
- 45:02SPEAKER_03: You're going to be quiet for the next year.
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: And there are people like Ogre and I who have been talking about
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: the Israeli government for the last 15 years,
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: who have been ranting about the Israeli government for the last 15 years.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: And now suddenly we have this new crop of Democrats who only care about AIPAC
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: and they're using it to fuck the election.
- 45:20SPEAKER_00: So please miss me with that fucking bullshit.
- 45:23SPEAKER_03: Miss me with the fucking bullshit.
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: I see you for the rat fuckers you are.
- 45:28SPEAKER_03: And people get really mad at me when I keep pointing it out.
- 45:31SPEAKER_03: It's like, but I see you.
- 45:34SPEAKER_03: You have a fucking tail.
- 45:37SPEAKER_03: You have a tail.
- 45:38SPEAKER_03: You have fucking little rat ears.
- 45:40SPEAKER_03: I see you.
- 45:41SPEAKER_03: You're not clever.
- 45:45SPEAKER_03: You're super fucking obvious what you're doing.
- 45:48SPEAKER_03: Even if you think you're being clever, you're not.
- 45:51SPEAKER_03: I have this fucking guy.
- 45:53SPEAKER_03: He's on my page right now.
- 45:54SPEAKER_03: All His entire fuckingSubstack profile is complaining about Democrats and AIPAC.
- 46:03SPEAKER_03: It's like, do you not think I see you?
- 46:06SPEAKER_03: Do you not think you're super fucking obvious?
- 46:08SPEAKER_03: He doesn't actually post anything.
- 46:10SPEAKER_03: And he's like,
- 46:26SPEAKER_03: Like, why not?
- 46:27SPEAKER_03: Why would I?
- 46:27SPEAKER_03: It's like,
- 46:27SPEAKER_03: because they're the ones in charge and they're the ones who are enabling
- 46:30SPEAKER_03: the genocide you're pretending to care about.
- 46:32SPEAKER_03: Why wouldn't you?
- 46:34SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 46:34SPEAKER_00: And like, and also, like, what are you actually doing?
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: If you care that much, like, what are you doing to help the situation?
- 46:40SPEAKER_00: What are you doing to help Palestinians in America?
- 46:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 46:43SPEAKER_03: It's like, you don't care about Palestinians.
- 46:45SPEAKER_03: You just care about getting Democrats out of office so Republicans can stay in power.
- 46:50SPEAKER_03: You're a rat fucker.
- 46:51SPEAKER_03: So, all right.
- 46:53SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 46:54SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 46:54SPEAKER_03: So fuck you guys.
- 46:56SPEAKER_03: Now let us move on to the next thing.
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: So less than, yeah,
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: speaking of Iran,
- 47:04SPEAKER_00: less than two weeks after resuming his moron war against Iran,
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: Trump is back to claiming that Iran is begging him for a deal.
- 47:11SPEAKER_00: Except they're like not at all.
- 47:14SPEAKER_00: Now...
- 47:35SPEAKER_00: This was in the news the other day and I literally saw it,
- 47:37SPEAKER_00: shook my head, and I was like, oh, we're going to have to talk about this.
- 47:41SPEAKER_00: It's just so stupid.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: I can't even.
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: Are we at war?
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: Are we not at war?
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: Are we at war?
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: Are we not at war?
- 47:45SPEAKER_00: Are we at war?
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: Are we not at war?
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: I can only tell by what the gas prices look like.
- 47:53SPEAKER_00: Now the regime is claiming that we're just days away from a new agreement
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: and it's all but guaranteed that Iran will have full control over the Strait
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: of Hormuz, which is extra funny since nobody had control over it before.
- 48:08SPEAKER_00: And we have absolutely 100% lost this war.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: The only thing left is for Mr.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: Art of the Deal to sign a piece of paper making it official and then claim
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: that it was the greatest American military victory in all of history.
- 48:21SPEAKER_00: But we're never going to recover from this humiliation.
- 48:24SPEAKER_03: It's just, it's un-fucking-believable.
- 48:26SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm slight, you know what I'm concerned about?
- 48:28SPEAKER_03: And I probably should write an article about this.
- 48:30SPEAKER_03: I'm concerned that when we have,
- 48:33SPEAKER_03: the reason we lost is because we have an idiot for president and an idiot
- 48:38SPEAKER_03: for secretary of defense.
- 48:40SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 48:40SPEAKER_03: If we had really wanted to go in and crush Iran, we could have.
- 48:46SPEAKER_03: It would have been very expensive in terms of lives and people,
- 48:52SPEAKER_03: lives and money, but we could have done it.
- 48:54SPEAKER_03: But we didn't want to do it that way, but we could have done that.
- 49:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 49:02SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 49:03SPEAKER_00: I just can't get over the fact that we went in wanting a regime change,
- 49:07SPEAKER_00: and the only thing that we did was make it more radical and younger.
- 49:11SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 49:13SPEAKER_03: But what I'm concerned about is that once we have a real government back,
- 49:19SPEAKER_03: right, and we still have the most dangerous military in the world.
- 49:24SPEAKER_03: I know everyone's just like, oh, that's a paper tiger.
- 49:26SPEAKER_03: It's like...
- 49:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, this isn't Russia.
- 49:29SPEAKER_03: We're not Russia.
- 49:30SPEAKER_03: The Russian military was underfunded,
- 49:33SPEAKER_03: undertrained, and their equipment was shitty because of corruption.
- 49:38SPEAKER_03: That is not the case with the United States.
- 49:40SPEAKER_03: What I'm concerned about Is that once we have a real,
- 49:45SPEAKER_03: real leadership again,
- 49:46SPEAKER_03: is that all these little bullshit dictator country companies,
- 49:51SPEAKER_03: countries are going to be, well,
- 49:53SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 49:54SPEAKER_03: the United States can't do anything,
- 49:55SPEAKER_03: can't stop us now, and they're going to And we're going to have to prove a point.
- 50:17SPEAKER_03: And that concerns me because there's going to be a lot of people who are going
- 50:21SPEAKER_03: to be like, oh, no, we can do anything we want.
- 50:24SPEAKER_03: The United States is, you know, they're not dangerous.
- 50:26SPEAKER_03: And we're going to have to start putting our foot down in places
- 50:30SPEAKER_03: that we wouldn't normally have to do that because,
- 50:33SPEAKER_03: you know, people used to be afraid of us and now they're not.
- 50:36SPEAKER_03: And then we're going to have to go and do shit that we shouldn't have to have had done.
- 50:41SPEAKER_00: The thing that I've noticed is that we went to war in the early 2000s
- 50:49SPEAKER_00: after September 11th, right?
- 50:51SPEAKER_00: And we lost those wars.
- 50:54SPEAKER_00: We had some success in Iraq, but we did not have any success in Afghanistan.
- 51:00SPEAKER_03: But we killed hundreds of thousands of people in the
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: process.
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: And thousands of our own people.
- 51:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, I've talked about it before, but my friend died in Iraq.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: He was 19 years old.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: I spent my 19th birthday at his funeral.
- 51:14SPEAKER_00: My brother was in the military.
- 51:16SPEAKER_00: He's 100% disabled now.
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: He was in 82nd Airborne.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: He lost a lot of friends.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: A lot of friends.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: And he's lost even more since leaving the military because they've killed themselves.
- 51:30SPEAKER_00: But we've had all of these military conflicts and let's say like the last 50 years,
- 51:34SPEAKER_00: Vietnam, we fucked up there.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: The Gulf War was, you know, I guess successful.
- 51:40SPEAKER_00: We were involved in South America and we fucked up there.
- 51:45SPEAKER_00: We were involved in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- 51:48SPEAKER_00: We fucked up there.
- 51:49SPEAKER_00: Then we got involved in Syria and look at that hot mess.
- 51:55SPEAKER_00: And now we're involved in Iran.
- 51:58SPEAKER_00: And the thing is,
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: we keep getting involved in all of these conflicts because we have some kind of goal
- 52:04SPEAKER_00: and then we never meet our goals.
- 52:06SPEAKER_00: And I know that Trump has made us look weak,
- 52:08SPEAKER_00: but I would argue that we've looked weak for the last 50 years.
- 52:12SPEAKER_00: And we're just weaker now because of him.
- 52:14SPEAKER_03: But we've also, well,
- 52:16SPEAKER_03: I mean, Karen says that Trump and MAGA have completely destabilized the planet.
- 52:23SPEAKER_03: Yes, but we also destabilized regions.
- 52:27SPEAKER_03: And that also, I mean,
- 52:28SPEAKER_03: while we didn't succeed,
- 52:30SPEAKER_03: destabilizing regions also worked to our advantage, which...
- 52:34SPEAKER_03: You know, you destabilize the region.
- 52:37SPEAKER_03: Now it's less of an issue for us,
- 52:39SPEAKER_03: you know, in terms of political power and, you know, we can swoop in and do it.
- 52:44SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's imperial shit, right?
- 52:46SPEAKER_03: It's empire shit.
- 52:48SPEAKER_03: You destabilize the region and then you can kind of impose your will on it.
- 52:51SPEAKER_03: So in that sense, yeah,
- 52:53SPEAKER_03: we didn't fulfill our goals,
- 52:55SPEAKER_03: but we definitely destabilize large chunks of the planet bit by bit.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, yes.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, we did that in South America, right?
- 53:03SPEAKER_00: And then what ended up happening as a result?
- 53:05SPEAKER_00: Mass migration to the United States.
- 53:07SPEAKER_00: And now, 40 years later, we're seeing the results of that.
- 53:10SPEAKER_03: But even that worked out for us because we got lots and lots of cheap labor, which I'm sure...
- 53:15SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 53:16SPEAKER_00: It's just not working out for the people.
- 53:18SPEAKER_00: We fucked them once and now we're fucking them again.
- 53:20SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 53:21SPEAKER_03: But, I mean,
- 53:22SPEAKER_03: only because Republicans decided that would be useful for,
- 53:25SPEAKER_03: you know, political purposes to go full white nationalist.
- 53:28SPEAKER_03: But in terms of economics, it worked out great for us.
- 53:32SPEAKER_03: You know, we got lots and lots of cheap labor.
- 53:34SPEAKER_03: Hooray for corporations.
- 53:36SPEAKER_03: But...
- 53:38SPEAKER_03: In terms of just the stabilization, we're very good at doing that.
- 53:46SPEAKER_03: I'm just worried that we're going to go out and do that a lot more.
- 53:51SPEAKER_03: Not in the way we're doing it in the Middle East right now, because that's not working for us.
- 53:57SPEAKER_03: But we do have a habit of going out there and it's like,
- 53:59SPEAKER_03: well, we have to show everybody that we're in charge still.
- 54:02SPEAKER_03: We have a big stack.
- 54:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 54:04SPEAKER_03: Like Trump did not show we have a big stick.
- 54:06SPEAKER_03: Previous presidents have been able to show we do have a very big stick.
- 54:09SPEAKER_03: Even if we're not good at swinging it, we're still good at smashing the China shop.
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: It's big, but he don't know how to use it.
- 54:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 54:17SPEAKER_03: Trump does not.
- 54:18SPEAKER_03: Trump has never known how to use his fucking stick.
- 54:19SPEAKER_03: And also he has a tiny one.
- 54:21SPEAKER_03: But still.
- 54:22SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 54:23SPEAKER_03: Let us keep going.
- 54:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we could
- 54:25SPEAKER_00: keep going.
- 54:28SPEAKER_03: Let's move on here.
- 54:30SPEAKER_03: We have the LOL of the week.
- 54:32SPEAKER_03: Trump is very sad that no one wants to,
- 54:35SPEAKER_03: speaking of the immigration,
- 54:38SPEAKER_03: no one wants to talk about the border anymore,
- 54:40SPEAKER_03: which he's managed to close the border.
- 54:44SPEAKER_03: Net immigration is down.
- 54:46SPEAKER_03: We have very few immigrants coming into the country.
- 54:49SPEAKER_03: They have managed to mostly seal the border.
- 54:52SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 54:52SPEAKER_03: Legal immigration from the South is almost zero because white nationalism and racism.
- 54:59SPEAKER_03: So is visitors.
- 55:00SPEAKER_00: My family's not even coming here
- 55:02SPEAKER_03: to visit.
- 55:02SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 55:03SPEAKER_03: Now, what's hilarious about this is that Trump is bitching.
- 55:08SPEAKER_03: That the country only has a two-week memory.
- 55:11SPEAKER_03: The public only has a two-week memory, which,
- 55:13SPEAKER_03: if you recall,
- 55:15SPEAKER_03: Trump used to use that a lot because he would say,
- 55:17SPEAKER_03: well, we're going to do that in two weeks.
- 55:19SPEAKER_03: We're going to do it in two weeks because he knew the news cycle would move on by
- 55:22SPEAKER_03: then and no one would ever think about it.
- 55:24SPEAKER_03: You know, it's like, oh, we'll have a health care plan in two weeks.
- 55:27SPEAKER_03: Oh, we're going to do this in two weeks.
- 55:28SPEAKER_03: And then two weeks later, it would be like 20 other things.
- 55:32SPEAKER_03: And no one would ask about the thing that he said he would do in two weeks.
- 55:35SPEAKER_03: He used to use that to his advantage.
- 55:37SPEAKER_03: Constantly.
- 55:39SPEAKER_03: And now that fact that he's complaining about it is fucking hilarious.
- 55:42SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 55:42SPEAKER_00: Flooding the zone was his political strategy.
- 55:45SPEAKER_03: Now, he's not wrong.
- 55:48SPEAKER_03: No one wants to talk about the border anymore because the border isn't an issue.
- 55:52SPEAKER_03: They can't do caravans coming to the border because the caravans aren't going to get through.
- 55:58SPEAKER_03: They've militarized the border.
- 56:00SPEAKER_03: They've They made sure no caravans are getting through the border.
- 56:03SPEAKER_03: They can't talk about a huge flood of fentanyl coming over the border
- 56:07SPEAKER_03: because they closed the border.
- 56:09SPEAKER_03: They've militarized it so heavily, nothing's getting over.
- 56:12SPEAKER_00: They can't complain
- 56:16SPEAKER_03: about massive drugs coming over.
- 56:19SPEAKER_03: Aren't you doing your job there?
- 56:21SPEAKER_03: You said you're going to close the border.
- 56:22SPEAKER_03: That's your whole thing.
- 56:23SPEAKER_03: So what Trump has discovered is the reason Republicans for decades have never lifted
- 56:31SPEAKER_03: a finger to solve any of the culture war issues that they fearmonger about.
- 56:36SPEAKER_03: Because once you deal with the culture war issue, the issue goes away.
- 56:41SPEAKER_03: I mean, this is kind of the thing about abortion.
- 56:45SPEAKER_03: If they were to actually make abortion completely illegal, oops, Hold on.
- 56:50SPEAKER_03: Okay, sorry.
- 56:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, if they were to make abortion illegal and actually make it disappear,
- 56:55SPEAKER_03: it disappears as an issue and you can't fundraise off it anymore.
- 56:59SPEAKER_03: You can't fear monger on it anymore.
- 57:00SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 57:01SPEAKER_00: And the one issue voters who are going out to vote,
- 57:03SPEAKER_00: the evangelical Christians who are going out to vote to make abortion illegal,
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: aren't going to go out to vote anymore.
- 57:07SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 57:08SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 57:09SPEAKER_03: And they don't they stop they stop paying attention because that was their one issue.
- 57:13SPEAKER_03: So all of your little white nationalists who were like,
- 57:17SPEAKER_03: oh, my God, I'm so terrified of the border.
- 57:19SPEAKER_03: Oh, borders closed.
- 57:20SPEAKER_03: OK. And they just wander off and they don't care anymore.
- 57:25SPEAKER_03: So ha ha.
- 57:26SPEAKER_03: Dumbass.
- 57:27SPEAKER_03: OK. Good Lord.
- 57:31SPEAKER_03: I'd love that for them.
- 57:33SPEAKER_00: Let's wrap up headlines with some good news.
- 57:36SPEAKER_00: The website 50plus1,
- 57:38SPEAKER_00: these are people from 538 who no longer associate with the aggrieved white boy,
- 57:43SPEAKER_00: Nate Silver.
- 57:43SPEAKER_00: God, I remember when I used to love Nate Silver.
- 57:47SPEAKER_00: They've put the Democrats' taking of the House to 85%, the Senate 55%.
- 57:54SPEAKER_00: And if the economy tanks before the midterms,
- 57:56SPEAKER_00: which Trump's ongoing buffoonery makes it more than likely,
- 58:00SPEAKER_00: those numbers will shift significantly in our favor.
- 58:03SPEAKER_00: That's very good news.
- 58:06SPEAKER_00: There are six Senate seats that we can flip.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: Alaska, Iowa, Texas, Maine, North Carolina, and Ohio.
- 58:13SPEAKER_00: That would mean that Fetterman could fuck off when he flips parties like we all know
- 58:18SPEAKER_00: that he plans to do if Democrats have a one-seat majority.
- 58:25SPEAKER_00: Fetterman is my biggest disappointment.
- 58:27SPEAKER_00: I'm almost as disappointed in Fetterman as I was in Kyrsten Sinema.
- 58:31SPEAKER_00: We went so hard for these motherfuckers and look at them.
- 58:34SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 58:35SPEAKER_00: All of those seats are moving in our direction and Trump,
- 58:38SPEAKER_00: his moron war and his crumbling economy are albatrosses on all of them.
- 58:43SPEAKER_00: It's going to be a really rough November for fascism when the blue wave sweeps
- 58:47SPEAKER_00: the entire country.
- 58:48SPEAKER_00: And if you're in one of those states,
- 58:50SPEAKER_00: please fucking vote and bring people to vote and have them bring people to vote.
- 58:56SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 58:57SPEAKER_03: One last bit of good news here.
- 58:59SPEAKER_03: Politico posted and wrote an article about Republicans having a griper problem.
- 59:05SPEAKER_03: Broke my heart.
- 59:07SPEAKER_03: I was so sad about this.
- 59:09SPEAKER_03: If you're not familiar with what a Groyper is,
- 59:12SPEAKER_03: that's the name for the followers of Nick Fuentes.
- 59:16SPEAKER_03: Nick Fuentes,
- 59:17SPEAKER_03: if you don't recall that name,
- 59:19SPEAKER_03: is a neo-Nazi,
- 59:20SPEAKER_03: a little weasel neo-Nazi who's got a huge,
- 59:24SPEAKER_03: huge following because, of course, he does.
- 59:27SPEAKER_00: And he really, really, really hated Charlie Kirk.
- 59:30SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, big time.
- 59:32SPEAKER_03: So basically what's happening here,
- 59:35SPEAKER_03: I wrote about this and I saw this and I was just laughing because I wrote
- 59:38SPEAKER_03: about this three years ago.
- 59:41SPEAKER_03: What's going on here, and I wrote about this on Monday again, because I was
- 59:48SPEAKER_03: What's happening here is the elders in the party, right?
- 59:52SPEAKER_03: The grownups in the Republican Party are looking at the incoming younger Republicans.
- 59:59SPEAKER_03: And when I wrote about I was writing about college campus Republican parties.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_03: What the problem is,
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_03: is that Donald Trump has taught an entire generation going on two of Republicans
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_03: that the only thing that's important is politics.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_03: You, not the party, not the Republican agenda, not conservatism.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_03: The only thing that's important is making yourself self-aggrandizing.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_03: Yes, thank you.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_03: And getting rich.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_03: That's all that's important.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_03: Nothing else matters.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_03: It doesn't matter.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_03: Not working as a team, not, you know, taking one for the group and getting ahead.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_03: And, you know, it's not...
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_03: It's just about self-improvement,
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_03: putting money in your pocket, and fuck everybody else, including your own people.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_03: Nothing else matters.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_03: And they've learned this from Trump backstabbing.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_03: So that is not a long-term project.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_03: That's not long-term longevity.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_03: That's not longevity for a political party.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_03: That's a death sentence.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_03: That's cancer.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_03: That's a parasite eating itself.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_03: And they're
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_03: What the fuck are we going to do with this?
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_03: How do we survive this?
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_03: These guys, they don't know how to do the work.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_03: They don't understand anything.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_03: They only understand how to go online, how to self-promote themselves, and how to...
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_03: And
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_03: all I can do is look at that and laugh and laugh and laugh
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_03: because you know what party doesn't have that problem?
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_03: Democrats.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_03: We don't have that problem.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_03: We don't have a griper problem.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_03: Even if you go, oh, woe is me.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_03: The Democratic Socialists are taking over the party.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_03: So what?
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_03: You know what Democratic Socialists don't do?
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_03: They don't stab each other in the back and only work to self-enrich themselves.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_03: That's not how that works.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_03: I mean, not for nothing.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_03: Look at AOC and Zoran Mamdani.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_03: They're not lighting their own pockets and telling everyone else to fuck off
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_03: while just doing self-promotion and getting rich.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_03: They're actually doing the work.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_03: And not for nothing...
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_03: New York City's doing really,
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_03: really well under Mamdani, and he's not just there for his own gain.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_03: So clearly, the Democrats don't have this problem.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_03: This is a them problem, not an It's too late for them.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_03: They've destroyed the entire incoming generation and probably the next one too.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_03: And Trump doesn't give a shit.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_03: No, of course not.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_03: And the next person, whoever replaces him, isn't going to be much better.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_03: And oh well, this is the end of the line for libertarianism.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_03: This is where it leads.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_03: And I could have told them that a decade ago.
- 1:03:35SPEAKER_03: If it's all about me, me, me and no us, us, us, you don't have a party.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_03: But that's what they wanted to do because greed is good, leads to destruction.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_03: And here we are.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_03: And it's fucking amazing.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_03: So invest in popcorn futures because, oh man, we're going to need so much of it.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_00: Well, on to self-care of the week.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_00: I didn't talk about this last week,
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_00: but my oldest son got his MCAT scores back, and he did extremely, extremely well.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_00: If you recall, he took the MCAT last summer, and he wasn't really happy with his score.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_00: He got a 511 out of a 527 back then, so he was somewhere in the 80th percentile.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_00: I was like, why would you take it again?
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_00: He's like, oh, I just got to get a couple more points, right?
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_00: He was aiming for three points.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_00: Well, he took it again.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_00: He got a 517 out of a 528.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_00: He's in the 95th percentile,
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_00: which means that he can apply at any medical school he wants to, including the IVs.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_03: Ooh, fancy.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_00: I was, however,
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_00: very disturbed when he mentioned the University of Miami because it has
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_00: a great orthopedic program and he wants to be an orthosurgeon.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_00: Now, as a mom, I understand that the school has a winning D1 football team.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_00: They were in the championship this year against Indiana.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_00: And I also understand that they have a partnership with
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_00: the Miami Dolphins organization in the school.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_00: There's a partnership between them and the school.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_00: So that could present opportunities for an aspiring ortho-surgeon.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_00: However, as a Buffalo Bills fan, I would like to vomit.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_00: If I ever catch my kid wearing a dolphin of any kind, I will fucking disown him.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_00: Because, ew, we come out of our mother's wombs saying squish the fish.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_00: It is the Buffalo Bills rivalry of generations.
- 1:05:45SPEAKER_00: I know, I know guys that I gave birth to him here.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_00: I understand.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_00: I understand that my parents moved me here and I never left.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_00: I get it.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_00: So I gave birth to a Floridian.
- 1:05:59SPEAKER_00: I get it.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_00: But the idea of my child going down to Miami and working with the fucking dolphins?
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_00: Oh my God.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_00: Put a knife through my heart.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_00: I don't know what I'll do.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_03: The betrayal.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_03: The betrayal.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_00: Fortunately, he hasn't started applying to med school yet because he's going to take a gap year.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_00: Which I understand because he's been going 100 miles an hour
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_00: since he was 11 years old to get where he is now.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_00: So he's going to take a gap year.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_00: He's going to work and he's going to make sure that his application is absolutely perfect.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_00: So I still have time to point him towards New York.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_00: But I don't know because if he goes to New York City and he's suddenly
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_00: a New Jersey Jets fan, I don't know what I'll do then either.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to solve this problem.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_03: Win your red jet, your red jet.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_03: Oh, sorry, different jets.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_03: So Otacon went really well this weekend.
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_03: That was the big convention that I spent the weekend at.
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_03: The girls had a lot of fun and Kyle really enjoyed his first convention.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_03: If you recall, I flew him up.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_03: I flew him and one of his mommies up from Florida to go to his first convention
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_03: for his 13th birthday.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_00: If you guys don't know who Kyle is, remember he had a donor baby about 13 years ago.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_00: His best friends wanted to have a baby and he provided the sperm.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_00: And I really wish he had the articles from back at that time
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_00: because he literally wrote about the journey,
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_00: including, you know, and the, you know.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_03: The sperm donation thing was very funny.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_03: The sperm donor chronicles was very funny.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_00: Because they didn't go to like a donation center.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_00: They like did it at the house.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_03: In a cup.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_03: In a cup.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_00: It was very interesting.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_00: Turkey basting the shit out of that.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_00: Hello, Kyle.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_03: So, Kyle was worried that no one was going to cosplay as any of the characters from
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_03: the game he was dressed as.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_03: It's called Deltarune.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_03: Or that no one was going to recognize him.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_03: But not only did a bunch of people know exactly who he was...
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_03: But a shit ton of other people were cosplaying the same game.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_03: And at least a dozen other people were dressed as the same character.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_00: That's really cool.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_03: There was an entire photo shoot for it.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_03: And he ate that up with a spoon.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_03: And it was his first time he had done anything like that.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_03: So he was thrilled.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_03: And happy birthday, Kyle.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_03: Now, Lila leaves for college next Friday.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_03: So that's been a good excuse to spend whatever time we can together,
- 1:08:43SPEAKER_03: like taking all of us,
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_03: including her girlfriend, June,
- 1:08:46SPEAKER_03: who's also leaving to stay in college next Friday, to Hot Pot for dinner Tuesday.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_03: We're recording this on Wednesday, so it was last night.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_03: Now...
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_03: So Claudia, Lila, and June have done this before, and the rest of us had not.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_03: We've never done Hot Pot before.
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_03: So we let Lila walk us through it, and it was great.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_03: We had a great time.
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_03: Anastasia loved it.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_03: Loved it.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_03: She had a fantastic time.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_03: But it was a lot of fun.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_03: This is when basically they put out like two different flavors of broth
- 1:09:20SPEAKER_03: and boiling broth and you take the meat and you dip it in it to cook it.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_03: It's like raw meat.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_03: And you dip it in.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_03: It's very thinly sliced.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_03: And you dip it in to cook it.
- 1:09:31SPEAKER_03: And you put in vegetables.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_03: You put in ramen noodles to cook it.
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_03: And it was just a huge amount of fun.
- 1:09:37SPEAKER_03: Very, very tasty.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_03: But also wildly expensive.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_03: I knew it was not going to be cheap,
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_03: but I did not realize how expensive it was going to be until they handed us the bill
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_03: because they don't really tell you how much it's going to cost beforehand.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_03: I don't think they rely a whole lot on repeat customers.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_03: Because they really kind of, you know, hide the total cost.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_03: But still.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_03: Thank God you had the money for it.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_03: Well, I had leftover money from the convention.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_03: Like a chunk of it.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_03: That was the end of the convention money.
- 1:10:11SPEAKER_03: So, but still.
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_03: Still, it was a lot of fun and it was worth it.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_03: And then I took the girls out and we got, you know, cake at a bakery afterwards.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_03: But we're having Monday, we're having White People Taco Night.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_03: And that's going to be our...
- 1:10:27SPEAKER_03: Last time that we can get together because Lila's busy the rest of the week
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_03: until we drive her to school on Friday.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_03: And then that's going to be it.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_03: She's going to be gone.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_03: She's going to be away at school.
- 1:10:39SPEAKER_03: And I'm going to be having a lot of feelings about that.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_03: You'll be fine.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_00: It's fine.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_00: Will I, though?
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_00: You will.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_00: You'll be fine.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_00: I survived.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_00: And my child literally came out of my body.
- 1:10:50SPEAKER_00: My goodness.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_00: And I nursed him.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_00: You'll be okay.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_03: That is it for today's show.

- 1:12:13SPEAKER_03: The podcast will still be released on Thursday.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_03: And we'll see you guys later.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_00: Bye, guys.
- 1:12:19SPEAKER_00: Bye.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I see.
- 1:12:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, apparently Deltarune's like a big, huge deal, Patrick.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_03: I know Undertale, which is like the prequel.
- 1:12:30SPEAKER_03: Deltarune's like the sequel.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_03: They're connected somehow.
- 1:12:33SPEAKER_03: I don't know the details, but there's Deltarune and there is Undertale.
- 1:12:39SPEAKER_03: They're like 8-bit games.
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_03: So I tried playing Undertale and it was like, I can't.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_03: I mean, I love my 8-bit games from back in the day, but it was too much like going backwards.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_03: I'm a little spoiled now.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_03: It's like, I played this when I was like 8 years old.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_03: I'm not going back to 8-bit, sorry.
- 1:12:57SPEAKER_03: Kyle loves it.
- 1:12:59SPEAKER_03: And his costume was very elaborate.
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_03: Like a lot of them,
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_03: the others were the kind of store bought and they were kind of like,
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_03: you know, basic looking.
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_03: His, his, his, he made with his mom's.
- 1:13:09SPEAKER_03: So it was like very detailed and he looked fantastic.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_03: So it was very cool.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_03: 13 years old.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_03: What's that?
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_00: I said, I can't believe he's going to be 13 years old.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_00: It seems like just yesterday you were turkey basting it up.
- 1:13:22SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_03: We made it.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_00: Woo.
- 1:13:25SPEAKER_00: Woo.
- 1:13:26SPEAKER_00: All right, everybody.
- 1:13:28SPEAKER_00: See you later.
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_00: Bye.
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_00: All right.
